India must honour its brave national hero
Indian hero pilot Capt Smit is recovering in a hospital in Abu Dhabi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi told him that the entire nation is praying for his early recovery. His wounds are deep because of the axe attack and he has been bandaged from top to bottom. He is feeling pain, but his spirit is high and his resolve is iron-willed.
Major world newspapers like The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Times and Guardian, London, used the word ‘hero’ in their headlines to praise Smit’s valour. Smit is the world’s hero, but he said, his ideal is Prime Minister Modi. Some people here may not like it. Smit said, he recited Hanuman Chalisa during the 12 minutes of terror and Bajrangbali saved all 174 travellers. This can also cause pinpricks for some people.
Smit hails from Amreli, Gujarat. This can be another reason for some people to worry. The truth is, India’s captain Smit is our national hero and he is above all such things. He is India’s pride. The government must give him the national award for his bravery.
Flydubai attack : Who’s behind the conspiracy?
For Israelis, Capt Smit is no less than an angel. They are also asking their government to honour him. His valour was celebrated at all major thoroughfares in Israel. At the India-Israel Festival in Tel Aviv, a huge poster of Smit was displayed in the background.
Thousands of Israelis stood up and clapped. The Israelis are now demanding punishment for the co-pilot who tried to hijack flydubai plane. Fresh revelations have come to light. The Omani co-pilot, now identified as Hamam al-Hammami, wanted to crash the flydubai aircraft in Israel, reports Wall Street Journal quoting experts associated with the probe. He told Israeli investigators in custody. 29-year-old Al-Hammami spent much of his time in Syria, where he was reportedly influenced by extremist ideas. He was born in the UAE to an Omani father and Syrian mother.
Al-Hammami was banned from flying by Oman for his ideological extremist views. CNN reports, an Instagram account of Al-Hammami (now deleted) shared two videos within nine hours after the attack, and both were terror-related. One video included a series of footage in the cockpit of a Boeing 737 Max aircraft, with a person filming and zooming in on an Israeli plane. The same video ends with photos of al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and a photo of Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, who killed nine people in a 2009 suicide bombing in the US.
The other post featured an AI-generated image of Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, with a rousing fundamentalist poem being recited in the background. Both posts were also shared on his LinkedIn before they were taken down, CNN reported. The UAE government has admitted that it was a terror act. The president adviser in UAE Anwar Gargash wrote on social media that it was a dangerous terror attack which could have caused tragedy, but the Indian pilot Smit showed courage and responsibility, which must be praised.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, whosoever is behind this attack will have to pay heavily. He said, the co-pilot had a background of Islamic radicalization, but the probe is ongoing. US President Donald Trump pitched in to warn Iran. He said, if Iran’s hand is found behind this attack, major attacks will be carried out by the US. The question is, how Israeli intelligence failed in identifying this co-pilot?
Why Mossad, the intelligence agency overlooked? There are strict rules about Gulf country planes flying to Israel. As per the contract with flydubai, their pilots who fly to Israel must belong to those nationalities, with whom Israel has diplomatic relations. Oman and Israel have no such relations, then how did the Omani co-pilot flew the aircraft? Mossad carries out strict vetting of all such crew. When the flight took off from Dubai, it should have come to its notice that the co-pilot cannot fly. Where did the negligence happen? How did it happen? The truth will soon come out.
Putin : Modi a trusted global leader
During his video talk with Capt Smit yesterday, PM Narendra Modi said, “Bharat Maarne Wala Nahin, Bachane Wala Desh Hai.” (India is not a country that kills, but one that saves) Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the same tone at a Moscow event while showering praise on Modi. He said, India always shows the path of peace to the world. Putin said, Modi came up with bright ideas in his Ukraine peace plan. He said, Modi is one of those leaders who publicly told him to end Ukraine war.
Putin said, Modi believes that a way can be found out only through dialogue, and no decision can be thrust on the other. Those who question Modi’s foreign policy, must listen to what Putin said. Putin accepts that Modi takes neutral position, and his leadership has acceptance. PM Narendra Modi told me in a TV show, “I look at world leaders in the eye and talk to them on an equal footing; I am not one of those who flatters powerful global leaders.” That is why world leaders respect Modi, this enhances India’s honor and showcases India’s power to the world.
जांबाज़ कैप्टन स्मित राष्ट्रीय सम्मान के हक़दार
174 यात्रियों को मौत के मुंह से निकालने वाले जांबाज़ पायलट Captain स्मित ने कहा कि सब बजरंगबली की कृपा से हुआ, हनुमान जी ने सबको बचाया. Captain स्मित ने कहा कि वो प्लेन के फर्श पर ख़ून से लथपथ पड़े थे, प्लेन अनियंत्रित होकर आसमान से नीचे की तरफ़ जा रहा था.
स्मित को मुसाफ़िरों की ज़िंदगी की फ़िक्र थी, वक़्त बहुत कम था. वो हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ कर रहे थे. स्मित ने हिम्मत जुटाई, कॉकपिट का दरवाज़ा खोल दिया, इसके बाद सारे लोगों ने मदद की और plane crash होने से बच गया. कैप्टन स्मित ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को बताया कि उन ख़ौफ़नाक पलों में क्या हुआ, कैसे हुआ और उन्हें एक और 9/11 होने से बचाने की ताक़त कहां से मिली.
स्मित बार-बार कह रहे थे, उन्होंने अपना फ़र्ज़ निभाया लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि कैप्टन स्मित ने अपनी जान की परवाह किए बग़ैर जो किया, वो पूरी दुनिया के लिए जांबाज़ी की मिसाल है. स्मित ने साबित कर दिया कि हिन्दुस्तानी किसी की जान नहीं लेता, बल्कि अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर दूसरों को ज़िंदगी देता है. मोदी ने स्मित को बताया कि पूरे देश में उनके जल्दी स्वस्थ होने के लिए प्रार्थनाएं हो रही हैं, हवन हो रहे हैं. बातचीत के दौरान कई बार स्मित भावुक हुए. कई बार रोए, कई बार हंसे.

कॉकपिट में ख़ून : ये साज़िश किसने की?
इजराइल के लोग चाहते हैं कि हमलावर को तो सजा मिले ही, साथ ही जिसने भी उसे भेज कर प्लेन क्रैश कराने की साजिश रची, उसे भी न बख्शा जाए. इजराइल के पीएम नेतन्याहू ने कहा कि इस घटना के पीछे जिसका भी हाथ होगा, उसे इसकी बहुत महंगी कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी. नेतन्याहू ने कहा कि इतना तो साफ हो गया है कि को-पायलट प्लेन को क्रैश कराना चाहता था, उसका बैकग्राउंड islamic radicalization (इस्लामिक उग्रवाद) का है, लेकिन अभी जांच चल रही है, इसलिए ये साजिश किसने रची, इसका खुलासा जांच पूरी होने के बाद होगा.
उधर अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने ईरान को चेतावनी दे दी. उन्होंने कहा कि अगर ये ईरान ने किया होगा, तो उस पर जबरदस्त हमला करेंगे. जिस co-pilot ने स्मित को चाक़ू मारा, प्लेन क्रैश करने की साज़िश रची, उसकी जांच हो रही है. नेतन्याहू ने बस इतना कहा है कि इस pilot का Islamic radical connection हो सकता है, लेकिन बड़ा सवाल ये है कि इज़राइल की intelligence इस co-pilot को लेकर fail कैसे हो गई ? जो hijacker प्लेन को crash कराने के चक्कर में था, Mossad की नज़र में क्यों नहीं आया ?
खाड़ी के देशों से इज़राइल के लिए fly करने वाले crew की नागरिकता क्या होगी, इसको लेकर कड़े नियम हैं. Flydubai के साथ जो contract है, उसके मुताबिक़, pilots सिर्फ़ उन मुल्क़ों के नागरिक हो सकते हैं, जिनके साथ इज़राइल के diplomatic relations हैं. ओमान और इज़राइल के बीच ऐसे रिश्ते नहीं हैं. तो फिर एक ओमानी pilot कैसे विमान पर सवार हुआ ? Mossad ऐसे लोगों की vetting करता है.जब flight दुबई से उड़ी, उसी वक्त हमलावर co-pilot की नागरिकता की जानकारी सामने आ जानी चाहिए थी. लापरवाही कहां हुई ? कैसे हुई ? ये सच्चाई भी थोड़े दिन में सामने आ जाएगी.
पुतिन: मोदी दुनिया के विश्वसनीय लीडर
कैप्टन स्मित से बातचीत में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा था कि भारत मारने वाला नहीं, बचाने वाला देश है. यही बात कल रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने भी दोहराई. मास्को के एक इवेंट में कहा, भारत हमेशा से दुनिया को शांति का रास्ता दिखाता आया है.
पुतिन ने नरेंद्र मोदी के यूक्रैन peace plan की जमकर तारीफ की, कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी ग्लोबल लीडर हैं और उनके पक्के दोस्त हैं और वो दुनिया के उन चंद नेताओं में शुमार हैं जो उन्हें सामने बैठाकर यूक्रेन के साथ युद्ध खत्म करने की बात कहते हैं. पुतिन ने कहा कि यूक्रेन के साथ जंग खत्म करने को लेकर नरेंद्र मोदी के पास बहुत अच्छे विचार हैं, बेहतरीन समाधान हैं.
पुतिन ने कहा कि मोदी का मानना है कि रास्ता बातचीत से निकले, कोई भी फैसला किसी देश पर थोपा ना जाए. जो लोग नरेंद्र मोदी की विदेश नीति पर सवाल उठाते हैं, उन्हें पुतिन की बात सुननी चाहिए. पुतिन का ये कहना कि यूक्रेन से युद्ध रुकवाने के लिए मोदी के पास ज़बरदस्त ideas हैं, एक बहुत बड़ी तारीफ है. पुतिन मान रहे हैं कि मोदी neutral position लेते हैं, मोदी की leadership का acceptance है.

Incredible, unthinkable, a miracle: Captain Smit brings glory to India!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to brave Indian pilot Capt Smit Machchar, undergoing treatment in a hospital. The live video talk was watched by millions of Indians today.
Modi also spoke in Gujarati. With eyes filled with tears of pride, Smit Machchar told the PM that he was reciting Hanuman Chalisa, when he was bleeding on the floor of the plane.
Modi said, “Yesterday, I spoke to to Bhupendra bhai (Smit’s father), and also spoke to Geetaben (Smit’s mother) and Sonalben (Smit’s wife). I told Geetaben that your name is Geeta, and you have truly preserved Krishna’s Geeta, and you have raised Smit with the values and teachings of Geeta.”
Modi told the pilot, “You have done something so great that today people across India and the rest of the world, are eager to see you and speak to you. I must tell you that this was possible because of the values you have been imparted from Gita. For that, I would bow to Geetaben for raising you in this manner. I would also like to bow to you.”
There should be no hesitation in saying that the entire world today is praying the courage of the Indian pilot who prevented the FlyDubai plane from being crashed. Capt Smit should excellent presence of mind during the terror attack, fought his terrorist co-pilot and saved 174 lives.
Had he not been there, another 9/11 tragedy could have taken place and the world would have drowned in sorrow. Today the world is saluting the bravery of Capt Smit. There were other heroes too.
When the plane was descending fast, and a few second were left for the crash, an Israeli plumber Yaniv entered the cockpit. The plane’s nosewheel was headed downwards. Yaniv showed presence of mind. He had seen a TV series on how planes can be saved during crisis.
He pushed the rogue co-pilot aside. He knew how to lift a plane upwards. He did and the plane stopped descending. In a few seconds, two pilots who were sitting as travellers in the rear end were called in.
One of them lost his senses on seeing blood on the floor, but the other pilot took control, contacted the nearest Air Traffic Control and made a safe landing in Tobuk, Saudi Arabia. It’s simply incredible, unthinkable and full of miracles.
The first miracle: After the attack, blood-stained Capt Smit sent out the emergency code. It does not mean pushing a button. Actually a code has to be sent.
The second miracle : It was surprising how Capt Smit, who was bleeding heavily from his chest, opened the heavy cockpit door. Had he not received outside support, the crash was definitely going to happen.
The third miracle: Travellers who entered cockpit from outside, immediately differentiated between the attacker and the victim. They overpowered the terrorist.
The fourth miracle : The plumber just pushed up the flight control panel. The fifth miracle : A dentist on board immediately gave first aid treatment to Capt Smit.
The sixth miracle : Had there been no pilots sitting in the rear as travellers, it was difficult to safely land. These pilots were not accustomed to fly FlyDubai plane, but managed safe landing.
I spoke to some experienced pilots. They told me, they have neither seen nor heard so many miracles happening together. This was not possible without Almighty’s blessings.
The biggest miracle: the message went across the whole world that a brave Indian pilot showed excellent presence of mind, fulfilled his duty at the risk of his life and saved 174 lives.
The image Captain Smit created for India across the entire world has enhanced the respect of Indians living everywhere in the eyes of people. This is a matter of great pride for India.
अद्भुत, अकल्पनीय, चमत्कार : कैप्टन स्मित ने भारत का मान बढ़ाया
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज अबु धाबी में इलाज करा रहे पराक्रमी भारतीय पायलट स्मित मच्छार से लाइव वीडियो पर बातचीत की और हालचाल पूछा. समूचे देश ने इस वीडियो बातचीत को जब देखा तो हर भारतीय का सीना गर्व से चौड़ा हो रहा था.
मोदी की बातचीत गुजराती में भी हुई. स्मित मच्छार ने कहा कि वह अक्सर संकट के वक्त हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ करते हैं, और जिस सुबह सिर पर मौत मंडरा रहा थी, उनका शरीर लहूलुहान था, वह हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ कर रहे थे.
मोदी ने कहा, “कल भूपेंद्रभाई (स्मित के पिता), गीताबेन (माता), और सोनाली बेन (पत्नी) से मेरी बातचीत हुई. … मैंने गीताबेन से कहा, आपका नाम गीता है, आपने स्मित को गीता में श्रीकृष्ण के उपदेशों को न सिर्फ समझाया, बल्कि गीता के मूल्यों को उसके जीवन में उतारा.” मोदी ने स्मित से कहा, “आपने जीवन में इतना महान कार्य किया है कि देश-दुनिया के लोग आपको देखने और आपसे बात करने को उत्सुक हैं. ये सिर्फ इसलिए हो पाया क्योंकि आपको जीवन में गीता के मूल्य मिले हैं.” मोदी ने कहा, आपने पूरे देश का मान बढ़ाया है और लोगों का आपके प्रति अथाह प्यार है.
अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने कहा कि अगर कैप्टन स्मित ने समझदारी न दिखाई होती, कॉकपिट का दरवाजा न खोला होता तो बड़ा आतंकवादी हादसा हो सकता था. ट्रंप ने कहा, कैप्टन स्मित पूरी दुनिया के सुपर हीरो हैं. यह बताने में कोई संकोच नहीं कि जिस पराक्रम की तारीफ़ आज पूरी दुनिया कर रही है, उसने अपने साहस से, अपनी presence of mind से Flydubai के एक विमान को क्रैश होने से बचाया, लहूलुहान होते हुए भी आतंकवादी co-pilot से मुक़ाबला किया और 174 passengers की जान बचाई. स्मित मच्छार न होते तो शायद 9/11 जैसा दूसरा हादसा हो गया होता, इस समय पूरी दुनिया में मातम पसरा होता लेकिन आज हर कोई भारतीय कैप्टन स्मित के साहस को सलाम कर रहा है.
जब प्लेन गिर रहा था, पायलट बुरी तरह से घायल था, कुछ ही सेकेंड में क्रैश होने वाला था, उस वक्त हिम्मत जुटाकर सबसे पहले यानिव नाम का इजरायली प्लम्बर कॉकपिट में घुसा. उस वक्त प्लेन का नोज़ पूरी तरह नीचे की तरफ था, कुछ ही सेकंड में प्लेन धरती से टकरा सकता था. यानिव ने सूझबूझ से काम लिया. उसने सबसे पहले को-पायलट को धक्का देकर दूसरी तरफ गिराया, फिर फ्लाइट के कंट्रोलर को ऊपर की तरफ खींच दिया. उसे पूरा यकीन नहीं था कि वो ये काम करेगा. विमान हादसों पर बनी एक सीरीज वो देख चुका था जिसमें गिरते हुए प्लेन को कैसे ऊपर उठाते हुए दिखाया गया था.. उसने वैसा ही किया और ये तरीका काम कर गया.
नीचे गिरता हुआ प्लेन ऊपर की तरफ जाने लगा और फ्लाइट स्टेबल होने लगी. कुछ ही सेकंड में दो पायलट जो यात्री थे, कॉकपिट में पहुंच गए लेकिन वहां चारों तरफ बिखरे खून को देखकर एक स्पेयर पायलट बेहोश हो गया. दूसरे पायलट ने संयम से काम लिया, फ्लाइट का कंट्रोल संभाला, नजदीकी ATC से संपर्क किया और सऊदी अरब में सेफ लैंडिंग कराई. Flydubai के प्लेन में सवार 174 लोगों की जान कैसे बची, ये अद्भुत, अकल्पनीय, चमत्कार है. बुरी तरह से घायल कैप्टन स्मित ने emergency code कैसे भेजा, ये पहला चमत्कार था. code भेजने का मतलब सिर्फ़ कोई एक button दबाना नहीं होता. Actually code भेजना पड़ता है.
घायल captain ने cockpit का दरवाज़ा कैसे खोला, ये दूसरा चमत्कार था. अगर बाहर से मदद नहीं मिलती तो प्लेन का crash होना निश्चित था. बाहर से मदद के लिए जो यात्री आए, उन्होंने पलक झपकते ही मारने वाले और बचाने वाले के बीच फ़र्क़ को समझ लिया. ये तीसरा चमत्कार था. एक प्लम्बर का flight के control को ऊपर खींचना चौथा चमत्कार था. एक dentist ने घायल captain का treatment किया. ये पांचवां चमत्कार था. उस प्लेन में यात्री के तौर पर अगर दो pilot सवार न होते तो plane की landing कराना असंभव था. जो pilot plane से वाकिफ नहीं था, उसने plane को सुरक्षित उतारा, ये छठा चमत्कार था.
अनुभवी pilot कहते हैं, इतने सारे चमत्कार एक साथ ना कभी सुने, ना कभी देखे. ये ईश्वर की कृपा के बिना हो ही नहीं सकता था. सबसे बड़ा चमत्कार ये हुआ कि पूरी दुनिया में संदेश गया कि एक भारतीय अपनी जान पर खेलकर duty कैसे पूरी करता है, अपनी presence of mind से दूसरों की जान कैसे बचाता है. कैप्टन स्मित ने पूरी दुनिया में भारत की जो छवि बनाई है, उससे दुनिया में जहां-जहां भारतवासी रहते हैं, लोगों की नज़रों में उनका मान बढ़ा है. ये भारत के लिए बहुत बड़ा गौरव है.
World salutes a brave Indian hero
Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar, who was stabbed by his co-pilot during the mid-air cockpit attack, has been airlifted from Tabuk, Saudi Arabia today to Abu Dhabi for further treatment. The blood-soaked captain immediately pressed the emergency code button alerting airports, after the plane took off from Dubai for Tel Aviv. Most of the passengers were Israeli and there were four US nationals. There was panic on board Flydubai’s FZ1073 flight. Two passengers entered the cockpit and overpowered the attacker, while two travellers, who knew flying, took over. In the chaos, the plane had dropped 16,000 feet below within a minute. Israeli internal security agents have reached Dubai for investigation. US President Donald Trump, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu described the Indian captain as a “true hero”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on X : “Captain Smit Machchhar has shown the world, the highest form of courage. Without fearing for his own life, he fought valiantly and prevented another 9/11 like attack from happening. 140 crore Indians salute Captain Smit and are praying for his well-being.”. Modi spoke on phone with Capt Smit’s parents and wife.
A big air tragedy was averted after the cockpit attack. Had there been no pilots going as travellers, the plane could have spiralled out of control. Israeli Defence Force scrambled its fighter jets in the air to save the plane. Capt. Smit Machchhar not only saved the lives of air travellers but also raised the prestige of every Indian in the world. People over the world know how Indians try to save others’ lives during crisis. The soil of India carries the fragrance of valour and benevolence. They can be rest assured, wherever there is an Indian, there is safety. We pray to Almighty so that Capt Machchhar recovers soon and live long.
Can Amit Shah make Punjab drugs-free?
Addressing a rally in Jalandhar, Punjab, yesterday, Home Minister Amit Shah promised to free India from the scourge of drugs by December 31, 2029. Shah recalled how his party had promised to abolish Article 370, eradicate Maoism in India and end insurgency in the north-east. He said, Naxalism has been eradicated and this time, drug traders will be stamped out. BJP has made drugs as its main election issue in Punjab polls.
On yesterday, Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation, stopped an Iranian boat that had left Iran 10 days ago, stopped over in Pakistan, loaded drugs and was heading towards Indian coast. 526 kg drugs worth Rs 3,000 crore were seized and five Pakistani nationals, who were on the boat, were nabbed. In Punjab yesterday, 3.5 kg drugs and a big quantity of weapons were seized. The overall drugs scene in Punjab is scary. The rate of drugs smuggling in that state is the highest in India. One of every 5 Punjabi is addicted to drugs. More than 67,000 youths are habitual users of ‘chitta’ (drugs).
Nearly seven lakh adolescents in the 10-17 age group, are also drug addicts. The number of deaths due to drugs is the highest in Punjab. More than 12 lakh victims being treated in drug addiction centres/ Amit Shah realized this bitter truth. He met the parents of victims, understood their pain, and spread his message to every constituency. The BJP may get gains if this movement gains speed, but Amit Shah will have to stick to his deadline for eradicating drugs in Punjab.
Election Commission: Opposition found an excuse for defeats
INDIA bloc meeting in Delhi was attended by top opposition leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, Tejashwi Yadav, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Supriya Sule and others. Hemant Soren and Uddhav Thackeray joined virtually, Akhilesh Yadav skipped and DMK and AAP decided not to attend. It was decided opposition MPs will march to Election Commission on October 6 and five big rallies will be held, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Patna.
The block decided to file petition challenging law to grant immunity to CEC even after retirement. This was the only new point that emerged from the meeting. It needs to be pointed out that those leaders who attended INDIA block meeting lead parties which lost elections. ‘ They have all found the main excuse behind their defeat in Election Commission. This is required because these leaders will have to tell their supporters why the parties lost. Rahul Gandhi has a problem. In the last 12 years, he has used adjectives against Prime Minister Modi, like ‘darpok’ (coward), ‘kaayar (coward), ‘compromised’ and ‘kamzor’ (weak). It appears as if Rahul Gandhi is always trying to convince himself that Modi can be defeated. But he forgets that in order to achieve this, he has to go among the masses, exert his party’s full strength for a win, and take other parties along to carve out a win. Only making REELS thru camera won’t help.

एक साहसी भारतीय कैप्टन, स्मित मच्छार, की वजह से 174 लोगों की जान बच गई. दुबई से कल तेल अवीव के लिए टेकऑफ करते ही ‘फ्लाईदुबई’ की FZ1073 फ्लाइट के को-पायलट ने कैप्टन स्मित पर चाकू से वार कर उन्हें लहूलुहान कर दिया. एक इज़राइली अधिकारी ने बताया कि हमलावर ओमान का नागरिक है. उसे गिरफ्तार किया गया है.
इज़राइल की इंटेलीजेंस एजेंसी शिन बेट के अधिकारी दुबई पहुंच गए हैं. जैसे ही हमलावर ने चाकू से वार किया, स्मित ने फौरन विमान का इमरजेंसी कोड दबा दिया. को-पायलट विमान क्रैश करने की कोशिश कर रहा था, तभी भारतीय पायलट ने उसे रोकने की कोशिश की. इस दौरान दोनों के बीच हाथापाई शुरू हो गई. को-पायलट ने कैप्टन को कॉकपिट में ही चाकू मार दिया जिससे वो घायल हो गए, प्लेन का कंट्रोल बिगड़ गया. कॉकपिट का दरवाजा खुलते ही यात्री पैनिक में आ गए.
गनीमत ये रही कि दो लोगों ने हमलावर को काबू में किया और इस फ्लाइट में दो पायलट्स सफर कर रहे थे जिन्होंने तुरंत विमान को संभाला और सऊदी अरब के तबुक में सुरक्षित लैंडिंग कराई. कॉकपिट में धक्कामुक्की के कारण विमान 1 मिनट के अंदर 16 हजार फीट नीचे आ गया. इजराइल के पीएम नेतन्याहू, अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप और भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारतीय पायलट स्मित मच्छार की तारीफ की. नेतन्याहू ने कहा कि कैप्टन मच्छार एक सच्चे हीरो हैं जिन्होंने 174 लोगों की जान बचाई. ट्रम्प ने भी कहा कि कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार एक बहादुर हीरो हैं. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि “कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार ने दुनिया को साहस का सर्वोच्च रूप दिखाया है. अपनी जान की परवाह किये बगैर, उन्होंने बहादुरी से लड़ाई लड़ी और 9/11 जैसे एक और हमले को होने से रोका. 140 करोड़ भारतीय कैप्टन स्मित को सलाम करते हैं और उनके जल्द ठीक होने की कामना करते हैं.”
कैप्टन मच्छार को एयरलिफ्ट कर अबु धाबी लाया गया है. इस बात की कल्पना करके रोंगटे खड़े हो जाते हैं कि जिस flight में दो pilots के बीच चाकू चले, उस में अगर दो pilot यात्रियों के रूप में न बैठे हुए होते, तो विमान को कौन संभालता ? कितनी बड़ी दुर्घटना हो सकती थी? इजराइल ने तो इसे जिहादी आतंकवादी हमला बता दिया, अपने fighter jets आसमान में भेज दिए. इससे अंदाजा लग सकता है कि ये हादसा कितना बड़ा हो सकता था. कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार ने न सिर्फ यात्रियों की जान बचाई, बल्कि पूरी दुनिया के सामने हर भारतीय का मान बढ़ाया. अब सब को पता है, जब संकट आता है तो एक भारतवासी कैसे अपनी जान पर खेलकर दूसरों को बचाता है. भारत की मिट्टी में पराक्रम और परोपकार की खुशबू है. भारतीय है जहां, सुरक्षा है वहां. ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है कि कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार जल्दी स्वस्थ हों, जुग जुग जियें.
Drugs: क्या अमित शाह पंजाब को दिलाएंगे छुटकारा?
पंजाब के जालंधर की रैली में कल गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने वादा किया कि सरकार 31 दिसम्बर, 2029 तक पूरे देश को ड्रग्स के ज़हर से छुटकारा दिलाएगी. शाह ने आर्टिकल 370 को खत्म करने से लेकर नक्सलवाद का खात्मा और नॉर्थ ईस्ट में आतंकवाद के खात्मे तक सारी बातें याद दिलाईं. कहा कि बीजेपी ने जैसे नक्सलवाद खत्म किया है, वैसे ही नशे के सौदागरों का नामो-निशान मिटा देगी.
बीजेपी ने इस बार ड्रग्स के खात्मे को पंजाब चुनाव का मुख्य मुद्दा बनाया है. कल ही Indian Coast Guard ने अरब सागर में ईरान से पन्द्रह दिन पहले निकली एक boat को रोका, जिसमें पाकिस्तान से ड्रग्स की खेप रखी गई थी. पांच पाकिस्तानी गिरफ्तार हुए और 526 किलो drugs जब्त हुई. पंजाब में कल साढ़े तीन किलो drugs और भारी मात्रा में हथियार जब्त हुए. पंजाब से drugs के जो आंकड़े आए हैं, वो डराने वाले हैं. पंजाब में drugs की तस्करी का rate highest है. पंजाब में रहने वाले हर पांच लोगों में से एक नशे का शिकार है. 67 हज़ार युवाओं को चिट्टे की लत है.
आप ये सुनकर चौंक जाएंगे कि पंजाब में 10 साल से 17 साल तक की उम्र के क़रीब सात लाख बच्चे भी नशे की गिरफ़्त में हैं. ड्रग्स से होने वाली मौतों का आंकड़ा पंजाब में सबसे ज़्यादा है. पंजाब के drug addiction centres में 12 लाख से ज्यादा victims भर्ती हैं. अमित शाह ने इस कड़वे सच को पहचाना, जनता के दिल के दर्द को समझा, पंजाब के चुनाव में नशे के ख़िलाफ़ जंग को मुद्दा बनाया, हर चुनावी हलके तक पहुंचाया. अगर ये अभियान ज़ोर पकड़ गया तो चुनाव में बीजेपी को फ़ायदा होगा .पर अमित शाह को अपनी दी गई deadline पर पंजाब से नशे को समाप्त भी करना होगा.
चुनाव आयोग: हारे हुए विपक्ष को बहाना मिल गया
INDIA ब्लॉक की मीटिंग में कल सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी, मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, ममता बनर्जी, तेजस्वी यादव, उमर अब्दुल्ला, महबूबा मुफ्ती और सुप्रिया सुले समेत 20 पार्टियों के नेता शामिल हुए. हेमंत सोरेन और उद्धव ठाकरे ने वर्चुअली मीटिंग में हिस्सा लिया. अखिलेश यादव नहीं आए. DMK, AAP के नेता मीटिंग में नहीं आए. मीटिंग में चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ आंदोलन की रूपरेखा तैयार की गई. तय हुआ कि इंडिया ब्लॉक के सांसद 6 अक्टूबर को चुनाव आयोग तक मार्च करेंगे. देश भर में मिलकर पांच रैली करेंगे. दिल्ली, मुंबई, कोलकाता और पटना में रैलियां होंगी.
तय हुआ कि मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार को इम्युनिटी देने वाले कानून के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अर्जी दी जाएगी. चुनाव आयोग के ख़िलाफ़ ऐलान-ए-जंग करने वाले नेताओं ने सिर्फ़ एक नई बात कही कि चुनाव आयुक्त को immunity देने वाले क़ानून के ख़िलाफ़ court में अर्ज़ी दी जाएगी. INDIA ब्लॉक की मीटिंग में जो नेता आए, उनमें से ज़्यादातर की पार्टियां चुनाव हारी हुई हैं. इन सबको अपनी हार का बहाना चुनाव आयोग में दिखाई देता है. अपने समर्थकों को हार की वजह बताने और समझाने के लिए भी एक तर्क चाहिए.
राहुल गांधी की problem ये है कि पिछले 12 साल से वो मोदी को कभी डरपोक, कभी कायर, कभी compromised, तो कभी कमज़ोर कहते हैं. ऐसा लगता है कि वो बार-बार अपने आप को ही convince करने की कोशिश करते हैं कि मोदी को हराया जा सकता है, पर ये भूल जाते हैं कि चुनाव जीतने के लिए जनता के बीच रहना पड़ता है, चुनाव लड़ने में पूरी ताक़त लगानी पड़ती है, दूसरी पार्टियों को साथ लेकर चलना पड़ता है, सिर्फ कैमरे से REEL बनाने से काम नहीं चलता.
