मोदी ने राजस्थान में भजन लाल शर्मा को सीएम क्यों चुना?
राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री के पद पर भजनलाल शर्मा का चयन इसलिए हैरान करने वाला है क्योंकि वो पहली बार विधायक बने हैं. इससे पहले वह न मंत्री रहे, न मंत्री का दर्जा रहा. पहली बार चुनाव जीतकर आए और सीधे राजस्थान जैसे बड़े प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बने. वैसे भजनलाल शर्मा के पास संगठन का काफी अनुभव है. वह बीस साल से संगठन में काम कर रहे थे, चार बार प्रदेश के महामंत्री रहे, लेकिन सिर्फ इस आधार पर उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनाया जाएगा, इसकी उम्मीद किसी ने नहीं की थी. राजस्थान में भी मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ की तरह दो उपमुख्यमंत्री होंगे, दीया कुमारी और प्रेम चंद बैरवा, जबकि बासुदेव देवनानी विधानसभा के स्पीकर होंगे. सोमवार शाम तक मेरे पास यह जानकारी थी कि दिल्ली में बीजेपी की बैठकों में दीया कुमारी का नाम लगभग तय हो चुका था. इसके पीछे तर्क ये था कि महिला आरक्षण के बाद अगर किसी एक महिला को हटाना है तो किसी दूसरी महिला को बनाया जाए, ये बेहतर होगा. लेकिन मंगलवार सुबह जातिगत समीकरणों को साधने की बात आई, तो ये तय हुआ कि किसी ब्राह्मण को बनाया जाए ताकि कोई विवाद न पैदा हो और जातिगत समीकरण भी बने रहे. इसके बाद दीया कुमारी को राजपूत और प्रेम चंद बैरवा को दलित समाज के चेहरे के तौर पर उपमुख्यमंत्री बनाने का फैसला हुआ. जब ब्राह्मण नेता की खोज शुरू हुई तो इस बार चुन कर आए दस विधायकों में से भजन लाल शर्मा सबसे उपयुक्त दिखाई दिए. कहा गया कि वो संगठन के आदमी हैं, सबको साथ लेकर चलते हैं, कोई इनका विरोध नहीं करेगा, इसलिए मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर भजन लाल शर्मा को मौका मिला. राजनाथ सिंह मोदी का संदेश लेकर जयपुर पहुंचे. उन्होंने सबसे पहले वसुन्धरा राजे और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सीपी जोशी से मुलाकात की, इसके बाद बीजेपी दफ्तर पहुंचे. वहां पार्टी के विधायकों से अलग अलग बात की, फिर विधायक दल की मीटिंग शुरू हुई. वसुन्धरा राजे के हाथ में राजनाथ सिंह ने एक पर्ची दी. वसुन्धरा ने पर्ची को खोलकर पढ़ा, फिर चश्मा लगाकर देखा, उसके बाद खामोशी से बैठ गईं. दो मिनट के बाद राजनाथ ने इशारा किया और वसुन्धरा ने भजनलाल शर्मा के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा जिसका वहां मौजूद सभी विधायकों ने समर्थन किया. उस वक्त तक भजनलाल शर्मा विधायकों के साथ सबसे पीछे बैठे थे. भजनलाल शर्मा इस मीटिंग में सबसे आखिर में पहुंचे थे क्योंकि इस मीटिंग के आयोजन और इसमें आने वाले विधायकों के स्वागत की जिम्मेदारी भजनलाल को ही दी गई थी. भजनलाल सबके स्वागत के बाद आखिर में मीटिंग में पहुंचे. उनके नाम का ऐलान हुआ तो फिर सभी नेताओं ने मंच पर भजनलाल का स्वागत किया. भजनलाल शर्मा के नाम के ऐलान से बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ता भी हैरान रह गए क्योंकि किसी को इस तरह के फैसले की उम्मीद नहीं थी कि पहली बार विधायक बने नेता को मोदी सीधे मुख्यमंत्री बना देंगे. हालांकि ये मोदी के साथ खुद भी हुआ था. मोदी जब मुख्यमंत्री बने थे तो उस वक्त वो विधायक भी नहीं थे. मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद पहली बार विधानसभा का चुनाव लड़ा था लेकिन मोदी को संगठन का जबरदस्त अनुभव था. जब वो प्रधानमंत्री बने तो उससे पहले कभी सांसद नहीं बने थे, कभी संसद नहीं गए थे, पहली बार सांसद बने और सीधे प्रधानमंत्री बन कर संसद भवन पहुंचे. लेकिन उन्हें 13 साल मुख्यमंत्री रहने का अनुभव था. भजन लाल शर्मा के पास ऐसा कोई अनुभव नहीं है, लेकिन मोदी सबको अवसर देते हैं. वैसे भजनलाल शर्मा राजनीति में नए नहीं हैं, बीस साल से पार्टी में सक्रिय थे, चार प्रदेश अध्यक्षों के साथ चार बार राजस्थान बीजेपी के महामंत्री रह चुके हैं. पिछले एक साल में राजस्थान में मोदी और अमित शाह की सभी रैलियों के आयोजन की जिम्मेदारी भजनलाल शर्मा ने ही निभाई. जे. पी. नड्डा से उनका पुराना नाता है. उन्होंने पूरे राजस्थान का दौरा किया, राजस्थान के हर इलाके से वाकिफ हैं. भरतपुर के रहने वाले हैं, लेकिन पार्टी ने इस बार उन्हें सांगानेर से चुनाव लड़ाया और उन्होंने कांग्रेस के पुष्पेंद्र भारद्वाज को 48 हजार से ज्यादा वोटों से हराया.
कांग्रेस नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने कहा कि ये राहुल गांधी का असर है क्योंकि राहुल गांधी ने जब से जातिगत जनगणना का मुद्दा उठाया, तब से बीजेपी जातियों के समीकरणों पर ध्यान दे रही है. इसका सबूत राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में दिख रहा है और मोदी राहुल के रास्ते पर अब चल रहे हैं. कांग्रेस के नेता अगर बीजेपी की जीत को राहुल गांधी का असर बताना चाहते हैं, तो ये उनकी मर्जी है..बीजेपी के लोग तो कहते हैं राहुल गांधी बीजेपी की जीत की गारंटी हैं. भजनलाल शर्मा की पृष्ठभूमि काफी दिलचस्प है. वो भरतपुर के अरारी गांव के रहने वाले हैं, वहीं से इन्होंने राजनीति शुरू की. 2003 में इन्होंने भरतपुर की नदवई सीट से टिकट मांगा लेकिन बीजेपी ने उस वक्त जितेन्द्र सिंह को टिकट दिया. भजनलाल इस सीट पर बागी उम्मीदवार के तौर पर लड़े, उन्हें केवल 5,969 वोट मिले. यहां बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार राज परिवार की दीपा कुमारी से हार गया. शायद ये पहला मौका है जब बीजेपी ने पार्टी से बगावत करने वाले को मुख्यमंत्री बनाया है लेकिन इसके पीछे भजनलाल शर्मा की एक कार्यकर्ता के तौर पर कड़ी मेहनत है. 15 साल तक भजन लाल शर्मा ने दिन-रात संगठन का काम किया.फ्रंट में आकर काम करने वाले पदाधिकारी रहे. गहलोत सरकार के खिलाफ आंदोलन खड़ा करने वाले, संघर्ष करने वाले, सड़क पर आकर जूझने वाले भजन लाल ने पार्टी के बड़े नेताओं के दिल में जगह बनाई. राज्य कर्माचारी महासंघ के आंदोलन में सामने आकर लड़े, प्रदर्शन के दौरान पुलिस की मार से इनकी तबियत बिगड़ी. जब प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की ‘मन की बात’ का सौवां एपिसोड ब्रॉडकास्ट हुआ तो भजनलाल शर्मा ने राजस्थान में बीस हजार से ज्यादा जगहों पर इसके सामूहिक सुनने का आयोजन किया. चुनाव के दौरान नरेंद्र मोदी की हर सभा का संचालन भजन लाल शर्मा ही करते थे. भजनलाल इस बार भी भरतपुर से चुनाव लड़ना चाहते थे लेकिन पार्टी ने सांगानेर से अशोक लाहौटी की टिकट काट कर भजनलाल शर्मा को लड़ाया. पहली बार MLA बने और पहली बार में ही विधायक दल के नेता चुन लिए गए. एक साधारण कार्यकर्ता से मुख्यमंत्री बनने तक का सफर पूरा करने के लिए भजनलाल शर्मा ने कड़ी मेहनत की है. वो सबको साथ लेकर चलते हैं, सब उनको पसंद करते हैं लेकिन उनकी जिम्मेदारी बहुत बड़ी है. राजस्थान सीमावर्ती राज्य है. यहां कांग्रेस से सीधा मुकाबला है, इसलिए चुनौती बड़ी है. भजन लाल शर्मा के सामने पहला लक्ष्य होगा लोकसभा चुनाव में पार्टी की जीत सुनिश्चित करना. राजस्थान में पिछली बार लोकसभा की 25 में से 25 सीटें बीजेपी ने जीती थी. भजन लाल को ये परफॉर्मेंश रिपीट करनी होगी. इससे कम में काम नहीं चलेगा और ये काम आसान नहीं है.
शिवराज, वसुंधरा का भविष्य
जहां तक मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ का सवाल है, दोनों राज्यों में बुधवार को नये मुख्यमंत्रियों ने नरेंद्र मोदी और अन्य शीर्ष नेताओं की मौजूदगी में शपथ ले ली. मंगलवार को शिवराज सिंह चौहान खुलकर बोले, खूब बोले. जो लोग ये कह रहे थे कि शिवराज नाराज़ हैं, शिवराज ने दिल्ली जाने से इंकार कर दिया है, शिवराज सिंह पार्टी नेतृत्व के फैसले से नाखुश हैं, उनको चौहान ने सीधा जबाव दिया. शिवराज ने कहा कि 18 साल तक बीजेपी ने उन्हें मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी दी, सांसद, विधायक, पार्टी में महामंत्री बनाया. बीजेपी ने उन्हें सबकुछ दिया, अब पार्टी को लौटाने का वक्त है. शिवराज सिंह ने कहा कि वो पार्टी से नाराज होना तो दूर, पार्टी से कुछ मांगने के लिए दिल्ली जाने से पहले मरना पसंद करेंगे. शिवराज ने कहा कि पार्टी हमेशा सोच समझकर सबको जिम्मेदारी देती है, अब उन्हें जो भी जिम्मेदारी दी जाएगी, वह पूरे मन से, पूरी शक्ति से उस जिम्मेदारी को निभाएंगे. शिवराज को मुख्यमंत्री न बनाए जाने से महिलाएं निराश हैं. मंगलवार को बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं सुबह शिवराज के घर पहुंच गईं. कई महिलाएं जोर जोर से रोने लगीं. शिवराज खुद भी भावुक हो गए लेकिन महिलाओं को समझाया. कहा कि पहले भी पार्टी की सरकार थी, आज भी पार्टी की सरकार है, पहले भी वो बहनों का ख्याल रखते थे, आगे भी बहनों का ख्याल उसी तरह से रखेंगे.
ये कहना तो बेमानी होगा कि शिवराज सिंह चौहान मुख्यमंत्री न बनाए जाने से आहत नहीं हुए होंगे, लेकिन वो अपनी पार्टी को जानते हैं. यहां दिल पर चोट लगी हो तो भी दर्द दिखाने की परम्परा नहीं है. वो जानते हैं कि एक दिन पार्टी ने उनको भी एक साधारण कार्यकर्ता से उठाकर मुख्यमंत्री के पद तक पहुंचाया था. 20 साल मध्यप्रदेश की राजनीति में उनका दबदबा रहा. और मैं कहूंगा कि आज भी उन्होंने बड़ी समझदारी से बात की. पार्टी का एहसान माना. मध्यप्रदेश के चुनाव में जीत के लिए मोदी के प्रभाव का जिक्र किया. शिवराज मोदी को भी जानते हैं. वह इस बात को समझते हैं कि मोदी से मांगने से कुछ हासिल नहीं होता. मोदी अपने हिसाब से सबकी भूमिका तय करते हैं. इसीलिए शिवराज सिंह का भविष्य में क्या रोल होगा, ये भी मोदी तय करेंगे. यही बात वसुंधरा राजे पर भी लागू होती है. वह भी अनुभवी नेता हैं. लंबे समय तक राजस्थान में बीजेपी की शिखर नेता रही हैं. वो भी शिवराज की ही तरह अपने राज्य में रहना चाहती हैं लेकिन ये तय करना वसुंधरा के हाथ में नहीं है. नॉर्मल तरीके से सोचें तो इन दोनों नेताओं को केंद्र में लाया जा सकता है. सरकार में इनके अनुभव का फायदा उठाया जा सकता है. मोदी अनुभवी नेताओं के महत्व को समझते हैं, उनके योगदान का सम्मान करते हैं. जब भोपाल में और जयपुर में मुख्यमंत्रियों के नाम का ऐलान हुआ तो पार्टी ने शिवराज और वसुन्धरा के सम्मान का पूरा ख्याल ऱखा. .दोनों नेताओं की सहमति ली गई और नए मुख्यमंत्री के नाम का प्रस्ताव शिवराज और वसुन्धरा से ही कराया गया. अब इन नेताओं को घर तो नहीं बैठाया जाएगा, लेकिन इन नेताओं की भूमिका क्या होगी, 2024 के चुनाव में इनकी क्षमता का कैसे इस्तेमाल होगा, इसके बारे में अटकलें लगाना बेकार है. जब ऐलान होगा, तभी पता चलेगा.
THE NEW RAJASTHAN CM: WHY DID MODI CHOOSE B.L.SHARMA?
The selection of Bhajan Lal Sharma as the leader of Rajasthan BJP legislature party on Tuesday is surprising because he has been elected MLA for the first time. He contested assembly election from Sanganer and won by a huge margin of more than 48,000 votes. Bhajan Lal Sharma has been working for the organisation for the last twenty years. He has been state party general secretary four times, but nobody expected him to be made chief minister. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa were chosen as deputy chief ministers at the meeting, while Vasudev Devnani will be the Speaker. Even till Monday morning, I had precise information that Diya Kumari was supposed to be elected chief minister. At that time, the reason given was that projecting a woman as chief minister after the passage of Women’s Reservation Bill will send the right message to voters. On Tuesday morning, however, caste equations came to the fore. It was decided that a Brahmin be made CM to avoid any controversy and to ensure that the current caste equations remain intact. Diya Kumari belongs to Rajput and Prem Chand Bairwa belongs to Dalit community. There were made deputy chief ministers. While hunting for a Brahmin face, it was found that Bhajan Lal Sharma stood a good chance among the 10 Brahmin MLAs who had been elected. Moreover, as an organisation man, he knows how to keep all the groups together. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jaipur carrying Prime Minister Modi’s message. He first met Vasundhara Raje and state party chief C P Joshi, and then met BJP MLAs separately. At the legislature party meeting, Rajnath Singh handed over a slip to Vasundhara Raje. The former CM read the slip and remained silent. Two minutes later, she proposed the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma. At that time, Sharma was sitting in the back row. He was the last to reach the meeting, because he had been given the task of receiving all newly elected MLAs and other leaders at the main gate. When his name was announced, Sharma came to the front and acknowledged greetings from all with humility. Outside, BJP workers waiting for the news were surprised. They did not expect that Modi would make a first-time MLA the chief minister. One must know that the same thing had happened to Modi in 2001 in Gujarat. Modi was neither an MLA nor a minister in Gujarat, but he had played a long innings as an organisation man. When Modi became PM in 2014, he had become an MP for the first time. He had never visited Parliament, but by that time, Modi had gained 13 years of experience as a chief minister. Bhajan Lal Sharma had worked with four state party presidents as general secretary. In the last one year, it was he who organized rallies for Modi and Amit Shah in Rajasthan. He has been an old friend of party chief J P Nadda. Sharma toured the entire state and knew each constituency in detail. Though he hails from Bharatpur, he contested from Sanganer and scored a resounding win. By making Sharma as CM, Modi has played a big political gambit. BJP had given tickets to 19 Brahmins in Rajasthan, out of whom, ten won. Brahmins constitute 13 per cent of Rajasthan’s population. Every mainstream party in Rajasthan gives importance to Brahmins. Out of 14 chief ministers in Rajasthan, six have been Brahmin. The last Brahmin CM was 33 years ago. Over the year, there was a feeling that Brahmins are not getting due importance in BJP-ruled states in the North and were being overlooked. Modi has tried to remove that grouse by making Sharma the CM. Secondly, BJP wants to convey the message that under Modi’s leadership, even an ordinary worker can reach the highest post and lead the party or government. Simultaneously, MLAs who were trying to create an atmosphere in their favour, or leaders who were staking claim for CM post, have now being given the right message. There is none in Rajasthan BJP who can oppose Bhajan Lal Sharma, nor any charge can be levelled about one faction being given importance. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Tuesday claimed that Modi is now “walking on Rahul Gandhi’s path, because CMs in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and MP have been selected keeping caste census in mind”. Congress leaders may continue claiming that Rahul’s demand for caste census is having its effect on BJP, but BJP leaders say something else. They say that Rahul Gandhi is the guarantee of victory for BJP. Bhajan Lal Sharma’s background is very interesting. He sought party ticket from Nadwai in Bharatpur in 2003, but BJP gave the ticket to Jitendra Singh. Bhajan Lal fought as a rebel candidate and got only 5,969 votes. The BJP candidate lost to Deepa Kumari of the local royal family. One can say, this is the first time BJP has made a former rebel as its minister, but Bhajan Lal Sharma later toiled hard for 15 years for the party. He was always in the forefront during party’s agitations during Congress rule. Once while staging protest for State Employees Federation, he was injured during police lathicharge. When the 100th episode of Modi’s Man Ki Baat was broadcast, Bhajan Lal Sharma organized meetings in more than 20,000 places in Rajasthan for people to hear the PM speak. Bhajan Lal used to organize rallies for Modi in Rajasthan. He wanted to contest from Bharatpur this time, but the party asked him to contest from Sanganer. His journey as an ordinary worker to become the chief minister has been long and arduous. Now that he has been entrusted with the big responsibility of running a border state and with the party locked in a direct battle with Congress, the challenge is big. Sharma’s first objective will be to ensure that BJP repeats its 2019 victory by winning all 25 Lok Sabha seats next year, nothing less. This task is not easy to accomplish.
NEW ROLES FOR CHOUHAN, VASUNDHARA
New chief ministers Mohan Yadav and Vishnu Deo Sai have taken oath in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh respectively in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and other top BJP leaders. On Tuesday, outgoing MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “BJP gave me the chair of chief minister for 18 years, the party made me MP, MLA and party general secretary. It is now time for me to return what I got from the party. There is no question of being unhappy. I would rather like to die rather than go to Delhi to seek something more. The party gives responsibility to all after considering all aspects. I will fulfil any responsibility that is given to me.” There was an emotional moment outside his residence on Tuesday when a large number of women called on him and started weeping loudly on his last day as chief minister. Chouhan assured them that the promises made to women will be fulfilled by the party and government. It will not be correct to say that Chouhan is not unhappy because he has not been made the CM, but he knows his party. Even if any leader feels hurt, there is no tradition in the party to express it publicly. For nearly 20 years, Chouhan dominated Madhya Pradesh politics. I would rather say that what Chouhan said on Tuesday was in all humility. He accepted the favours that he got from the party with gratitude. He mentioned how Modi played a big role in ensuring a big victory in Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Chouhan knows Modi’s style of working. He knows nobody gets anything by merely asking for favours from Modi. It is Modi who decides everybody’s role. It is Modi who will decide Shivraj Singh’s future role. The same applies for Vasundhara Raje. She is also an experienced leader with vast administrative experience. She was the party’s supreme leader in Rajasthan for a long time. Like Chouhan, Vasundhara too wants to stay in her state, but it is not in her hands. One can normally say that both of them can be brought to the Centre and the government can gain from their experience. Modi understands the importance of experienced leaders. He respects their contribution. When the names of chief ministers were announced in MP and Rajasthan, full respect was accorded to both Vasundhara and Chouhan. The consent of both was taken before the announcement. The names of the new CMs were proposed by the two former CMs. These two leaders will not be asked to stay at home, but it will be futile to speculate on their future roles now as to how they will be used during 2024 LS campaign. We will came to know this only when it is formally announced.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सोमवार को ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाया. कोर्ट की संविधान पीठ ने एकमत से फ़ैसला दिया कि जम्मू-कश्मीर का विशेष दर्ज़ा खत्म करने के लिए संविधान के अनुच्छेद 370 को हटाने का केन्द्र सरकार का फैसला वैध, सही और क़ानून सम्मत था. भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी. वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने अपने साथ साथ जस्टिस बी.आर.गवई और जस्टिस सूर्यकांत का फ़ैसला पढ़कर सुनाया, वहीं, संविधान पीठ के दो अन्य जज, जस्टिस संजय किशन कौल और जस्टिस संजीव खन्ना ने अपने फ़ैसले अलग सुनाए. लेकिन सभी पांचों न्यायाधीश इस बात पर सहमत थे कि संविधान का अनुच्छेद 370 अस्थायी था. 1947 में जम्मू-कश्मीर रियासत का जब भारत में विलय हुआ, उसके बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर को विशेष दर्जा देना एक अस्थायी व्यवस्था थी क्योंकि तब वहां युद्ध जैसे हालात थे और भारत के राष्ट्रपति को इस बात का पूरा अधिकार था कि वह संविधान के इस अनुच्छेद को बाद में ख़त्म कर सकें. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने लद्दाख को जम्मू-कश्मीर से अलग करके केंद्र शासित क्षेत्र बनाने के फ़ैसले को भी सही ठहराया. अपने फ़ैसले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि सरकार ने भरोसा दिया है कि वो जम्मू-कश्मीर का राज्य का दर्जा जल्दी से जल्दी बहाल करेगी. अपने आदेश में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने चुनाव आयोग को निर्देश दिया कि वो अगले साल 30 सितंबर से पहले जम्मू-कश्मीर में विधानसभा चुनाव कराए. अनुच्छेद 370 को ख़त्म करने के फ़ैसले के ख़िलाफ़ 23 याचिकाएं दायर की गई थीं. संविधान पीठ ने 16 दिन तक इस मामले पर लगातार सुनवाई की थी. जस्टिस संजय किशन कौल ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में अस्सी के दशके के बाद से हुई हिंसा की जांच के लिए ट्रुथ ऐंड रिकंसिलिएशन कमिशन बनाने का भी सुझाव दिया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ऐतिहासिक बताया. मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट का ये फ़ैसला जम्मू-कश्मीर के हमारे भाई-बहनों की आशाओं, प्रगति और एकता की उद्घोषणा है. उच्चतम न्यायालय ने अपने फैसले से एकता की मूल भावना को मजबूत किया है, एकता की इस भावना को भारत के हम सभी लोग अत्यन्त मूल्यवान और सर्वोपरि मानते हैं…. यह केवल न्यायालय का फैसला नहीं है, बल्कि यह आशाओं की मशाल, उज्ज्वल भविष्य का वचन और एक मजबूत और एकीकृत भारत बनाने के हमारे सामूहिक प्रण का संकल्प पत्र है.” 5 अगस्त 2019 को संसद ने जो निर्णय लिया, उस पर अपनी मुहर लगाकर, उच्चतम न्यायलय ने कहा कि एक भारतीय के तौर पर हम सब एक हैं. मोदी ने लिखा कि वो जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख के लोगों को यक़ीन दिलाना चाहते हैं कि उनकी सरकार दोनों क्षेत्रों की तरक़्क़ी और ख़ुशहाली के सपने पूरे करेगी. प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने ट्वीट में विस्तार से बताया कि धारा 370 ख़त्म होने के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में कितनी तेज़ी से तरक़्क़ी हो रही है और आतंकवादी घटनाओं, सीमा पार से घुसपैठ में कितनी कमी आई है. गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ समेत कई नेताओं ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फ़ैसले का स्वागत किया. कांग्रेस के प्रवक्ता अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी और पी. चिदम्बरम ने कहा कि “प्रथमदृष्ट्या जिस तरीके से धारा 370 को समाप्त किया गया, उस पर न्यायलय के फैसले से हम सम्मानपूर्वक असहमति प्रकट करते हैं. हम कांग्रेस कार्य समिति के उस प्रस्ताव को दोहराना चाहते हैं जिसमें कहा गया है कि धारा 370 का सम्मान किया जाय जब तक कि भारत के संविधान के तहत उसमें संशोधन न हो. हम जम्मू कश्मीर में पूर्ण राज्य के दर्जे की बहाली के न्यायलय के फैसले का स्वागत करते हैं और हमारी मांग है कि वहां जल्द विधानसभा चुनाव कराये जायं.” फ़ैसला आने के बाद जम्मू में डोगरा समुदाय के लोगों ने मिठाइयां बांटी, शिवसेना, विश्व हिन्दू परिषद और बजरंग दल ने कहा कि अदालत ने अपने निर्णय से साबित कर दिया है कि जम्मू-कश्मीर भारत का अटूट अंग है. कश्मीर घाटी में माहौल शांत रहा. कोई विरोध प्रदर्शन और हंगामा नहीं हुआ. हालांकि सियासी तौर पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया देखने को मिली. नैशनल कांफ्रेंस के अध्यक्ष उमर अब्दुल्ला ने फैसले पर नाखुशी जताई और कहा कि पार्टी अब धारा 370 की बहाली के लिए एक लम्बी लड़ाई लडेगी. पीडीपी अध्यक्ष महबूबा मुफ़्ती और उमर अब्दुल्ला ने आरोप लगाया कि उन्हें घरों में नजरबंद रखा गया है लेकिन उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने इन आरोपो को बेबुनियाद बताया. पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने कहा कि देश की सबसे बड़ी अदालत का ये फ़ैसला जम्मू-कश्मीर में किसी को भी पसंद नहीं आया, इससे राज्य के लोगों का बहुत नुक़सान होगा, उनकी रोज़ी-रोटी छिनेगी. जम्मू-कश्मीर रियासत के पूर्व महाराजा कर्ण सिंह ने कहा कि सिर्फ विरोध के लिए विरोध करना ठीक नहीं हैं, जम्मू-कश्मीर की जनता ये सच्चाई स्वीकार कर ले कि उसका विशेष दर्जा हमेशा के लिए ख़त्म हो गया है. अब धारा 370 वापस नहीं आने वाली, जम्मू-कश्मीर की जनता को अब सियासी लड़ाई की तैयारी करनी चाहिए और जब चुनाव हों, तो चुनाव डटकर लड़ें. ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद, महबूबा मुफ़्ती और उमर अब्दुल्ला जैसे नेता आज भी ये तर्क दे रहे हैं कि धारा 370 भारत और कश्मीर के बीच हुए क़रार का लिंक है, इसी शर्त पर कश्मीर साथ आया था. पर ये तर्क कितना बेमानी है, ये इस बात से समझ में आ जाता है कि अक्टूबर 1947 में इंस्ट्रूमेंट ऑफ एक्सेशन पर दस्तखत हुआ, तब न तो आर्टिकल 370 था, न इसका कोई जिक्र. इसकी तो किसी ने बात तक नहीं की थी. ये तो 1950 में जब संविधान बना तब अस्तित्व में आया. संविधान सभा ने भी जब इसे पास किया, तो ये वादा किया गया था कि धारा 370 अस्थायी है, तो ये कंडीशनल कैसे हो सकता है? सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इन सारी बातों पर मुहर लगा दी है. इन नेताओं को देखना तो ये चाहिए था कि धारा 370 कश्मीर को फ़ायदा पहुंचा रहा था या नुक़सान. इनको देखना तो ये चाहिए था कि धारा 370 की वजह से कश्मीर में न तो पूंजीनिवेश हुआ, न उद्योग लग पाये, न प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटल बने, न प्राइवेट स्कूल खुले. पिछले चार साल में इन सबके लिए अवसर बढ़ गए. जो राज्य पर्यटन पर जीता हो, वहां होटल चेन्स ने दिलचस्पी दिखाई, नौजवानों को रोज़गार के अवसर दिखाई देने लगे हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फ़ैसले के बाद इन सब बातों को एक बार फिर से महसूस किया गया. जो लोग कहते थे कि धारा 370 हटा तो ख़ून की नदियां बह जाएंगी, वो देख रहे हैं कि कश्मीर में नौजवानों की हताशा कम हुई है. अब पाकिस्तान को कश्मीर में आतंकवाद के लिए नौजवान नहीं मिलते. जो कहते थे धारा 370 हटने के बाद कश्मीर में तिरंगा उठाने वाला कोई नहीं मिलेगा, वो देख रहे हैं कि इस बार स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर पूरे कश्मीर में तिरंगा शान से लहराया, घर-घर में लहराया. ये ठीक है कि धारा 370 का समर्थन करने वाले उच्चतम न्यायालय से उम्मीद लगाए बैठे थे. अदालत ने इन सबकी बातों को पूरे इत्मीनान से सुना. अब ये विवाद हमेशा हमेशा के लिए ख़त्म हो जाना चाहिए. धारा 370 अब इतिहास के पन्नों में दफ़्न हो जाना चाहिए. कश्मीर को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा जल्दी मिले, वहां चुनाव हों, और चुनी हुई सरकार कश्मीर के लोगों की सुख और उनकी समृद्धि के लिए काम करे. कश्मीर में पुराने नेता, नए ज़माने के साथ चलना सीखें और इस बात को महसूस करें कि हिंदुस्तान बदल गया है.
DISPUTE ON ARTICLE 370 IS NOW CONSIGNED TO HISTORY
A five-judge constitution bench of Supreme Court on Monday unanimously upheld the abrogation of special status given to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370, saying there was no need for the “President to secure concurrence” of the state government before issuing notification to declare that Article 370(3) will now cease to operate. The Supreme Court said, the Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir was never intended to be a permanent body, because Article 370 was a temporary provision. The bench consisting of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justices Sanjay Kaul, Sanjiv Khanna, B R Gavai and Surya Kant, held that Article 370(3) empowers the President to unilaterally issue a notification for abrogation of special status and that power remained in force even after the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly of J & K. The constitution bench clearly said that the erstwhile K&K state did not have “internal sovereignty different from other states” of the Indian Union, after it became part of India. The bench pronounced three separate but concurring judgments. It also upheld the creation of the Union Territory of Ladakh. It said that restoration of statehood for Jammu & Kashmir shall take place at the earliest and Election Commission should conduct assembly elections in J & K by September 30, 2024. Twenty-three petitions were filed seeking quashing of the President’s notification abrogating Article 370 and the hearing went on for 16 days continuously. Justice Sanjay Kaul suggested setting up of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to investigate all incidents of violence since the Eighties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the apex court judgment as “historic” and said, “it is a resounding declaration of hope, progress and unity for our sisters and brothers in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The court, in its profound wisdom, has fortified the very essence of unity that we, as Indians, hold dear and cherish above all else….The verdict today is not just a legal judgment; it is a beacon of hope, a promise of a brighter future and a testament to our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united India.” Hailing the verdict while replying to a debate in Parliament, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “the verdict proves that Prime Minister Modi’s visionary decision was fully in accordance with the Constitution.” Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders welcomed the verdict. The Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi and former minister P Chidabaram said, “Prima facie, we respectfully disagree with the judgement on the manner in which Article 370 was abrogated. We reiterate the Congress Working Committee resolution that Article 370 deserved to be honoured until it was amended strictly in according with the Constitution of India. We welcome the Supreme Court verdict calling for restoration of full statehood and its direction to hold assembly elections.” In Jammu, sweets were distributed by members of Dogra community, while there were celebrations in Leh, Ladakh over SC approval to its status as a union territory. There was peace in Kashmir Valley, but National Conference chief Omar Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti alleged that they have been put under house arrest. This charge was denied by the Lt. Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha. Omar Abdullah said, his party would continue its fight for restoration of special status. Mehbooba Mufti said, what happened today with J&K can happen with the rest of India. Former J&K chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed unhappiness over the verdict and said that the people of J&K will lose jobs and suffer losses. The former maharaja of J&K Dr Karan Singh said, “the people of J&K must accept the reality that their special status has ended forever, Article 370 is not going to be restored and the people of the state should be ready to fight political battle in the next elections.” AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi expressed disappointment and said, with removal of Article 370, the Dogra community living in Jammu will also lose their identity. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “everybody will have to accept the SC verdict, but BJP will have to answer many questions, like why J&K was deprived of statehood, why Ladakh was made a UT. If everything is hunky-dory, then why are the Chinese soldiers sitting inside Ladakh territory?” The point to ponder is that leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah are still supporting the argument that Article 370 was the main link for the Instrument of Accession of J&K with India. They are saying that J&K acceded to India only on this condition. This argument is weak. Instrument of Accession was signed in October, 1947. At that time, there was no Article 370, there was no mention whatsoever and nobody had then raised this point. In 1950 when the Constitution came into force after the Constituent Assembly adopted it, it was then promised that Article 370 was a temporary provision. How can it be conditional? The Supreme Court on Monday put its seal of approval on its abrogation. These leaders should find out whether Article 370 was providing advantages or disadvantages to J&K for the last 70 years. They should realize that because of Article 370, no big investments came, nor any big industries, or big private hospitals and schools were set up in Kashmir. During the last four years, opportunities for investments and industries in J&K have expanded. Tourism in Kashmir has got a big fillip, reputed hotel chains have expressed interest in setting up new hotels, and youths are getting job opportunities. The Supreme Court verdict is being welcomed because people in the Valley have now realized that there has been a fundamental shift for the better in the last four years. Leaders who were warning that “rivers of blood will flow” if Art. 370 is abrogated, are now realizing that there has been a huge decline in the negative outlook of youths in Kashmir. Pakistan is not getting youths to be recruited as terrorists in the Valley. Leaders who were warning that “there won’t be a single person left in the Valley to raise the tricolour” if Art. 370 is abrogated, are now watching how Independence Day and Republic Day events are being celebrated by people in the Valley hoisting tricolour flag on their homes. It is true that those supporting restoration of Art. 370 had pinned their hopes on the Supreme Court verdict. The apex court’s constitution bench listened to each of their arguments during the hearing. Now, this dispute over Article 370 must end and it should lay buried in the pages of history books. It is now time for all to ensure that J&K gets its statehood again, assembly elections are held soon, and an elected government should work for the welfare and prosperity of the people. Old leaders of Kashmir Valley must now learn to adjust themselves with the new age. They must realize that Bharat has changed.
महुआ के निष्कासन के बाद विपक्ष में एकता आ गई है
रिश्वत लेकर सवाल पूछने के मामले में तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा को लोकसभा से निकाल दिया गया है. महुआ मोइत्रा की लोकसभा की सदस्यता छीन ली गई है. एथिक्स कमेटी की रिपोर्ट शुक्रवार दोपहर 12 बजे लोकसभा में पेश हुई, 2 बजे रिपोर्ट पर चर्चा शुरू हुई और तीन बजे महुआ मोइत्रा को लोकसभा की सदस्यता से निष्कासित कर दिया गया. एथिक्स कमेटी ने महुआ के आचरण को अनैतिक, अमर्यादित और आपराधिक माना. कमेटी ने कहा कि महुआ ने जिस तरह का अपराध किया है, उसको देखते हुए कमेटी महुआ को लोकसभा से निष्कासित करने की सिफारिश करती है. महुआ मोइत्रा की मुसीबतें अभी खत्म नहीं हुई हैं क्योंकि एथिक्स कमेटी ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में ये सिफारिश भी की है कि सरकार महुआ मोइत्रा के आचरण की गहन और समयबद्ध जांच कराए. महुआ के खिलाफ एक्शन का विरोधी दलों ने पूरी ताकत के साथ विरोध किया. कांग्रेस मजबूती से तृणमूल कांग्रेस के साथ खड़ी दिखाई दी और तृणमूल कांग्रेस आज पहली बार महुआ के साथ खड़ी दिखाई दी. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने कहा कि सरकार को महुआ के खिलाफ एक्शन की जल्दी क्यों है? रिपोर्ट पर चर्चा दो दिन बाद भी हो सकती है. तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने महुआ को सदन में अपना बचाव करने का मौका देने का तर्क दिया. कुछ नेताओं ने एथिक्स कमेटी की रिपोर्ट पर ही सवाल उठा दिए. कहा कि एथिक्स कमेटी को सिर्फ जांच करने का हक है, सजा सुनाने का नहीं. कमेटी ने सदस्यता छीनने की बात कहकर अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र का उल्लंघन किया है. लेकिन ये सारे तर्क बेकार साबित हुए. सदन में वोटिंग होने से पहले ही विरोधी दलों के सांसदों ने वॉकआउट कर दिया. तृणमूल कांग्रेस के साथ साथ कांग्रेस, JDU, RJD, समाजवादी पार्टी जैसी तमाम पार्टियों के नेता महुआ मोइत्रा के साथ सदन से बाहर निकले. सोनिया गांधी और राहुल गांधी समेत कांग्रेस के बड़े बड़े नेता महुआ मोइत्रा के पीछे खड़े दिखाई दिए. चूंकि महुआ को सदन में बोलने का मौका नहीं मिला था इसलिए महुआ ने सदन के बाहर वही भाषण पढ़ा, जो वो लोकसभा में पढ़ने के लिए लाई थीं. महुआ ने कहा कि न उनके खिलाफ कोई सबूत है, न उनके खिलाफ कोई गवाह है, न उन्होंने किसी से कोई पैसा लिया है, न कोई पैसा या गिफ्ट बरामद किया गया है. इसके बाद भी उन्हें सिर्फ इसलिए सजा सुना दी गई क्योंकि उन्होंने संसद के वेबसाइट का अपना लॉग-इन आईडी और पासवर्ड किसी के साथ शेयर किया था. महुआ मोइत्रा ने कहा कि कमेटी का ये फैसला विपक्ष को बुलडोज करने का, विपक्ष को ठोक देने का एक और सबूत है. पश्चिम बंगाल के कर्सियांग में मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि महुआ बदले की राजनीति का शिकार हुई हैं, तृणमूल कांग्रेस उनके साथ है और पूरे विपक्ष को साथ लेकर महुआ के इंसाफ की लड़ाई लड़ी जाएगी. ममता ने कहा कि महुआ के खिलाफ एक्शन लोकतंत्र की हत्या है, अब इस लड़ाई को इंडिया एलायंस मिलकर लड़ेगा. सुबह जब महुआ मोइत्रा संसद पहुंची थीं तो उन्होंने रामधारी सिंह दिनकर की कविता पढ़ी – ‘जब नाश मनुज पर छाता है, पहले विवेक मर जाता है.’ मेरी नज़र में किसी भी सांसद को संसद की सदस्यता से निष्कासित करने की नौबत आना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है, पर महुआ मोइत्रा ने अपने व्यवहार से कोई विकल्प नहीं छोड़ा. महुआ का मामला ओपन एंड शट केस था. इसमें किसी तरह का कोई संशय नहीं था. महुआ ने खुद माना कि उन्होंने संसद के वेबसाइट का का लॉगिन पासवर्ड दर्शन हीरानंदानी को दिया. दर्शन हीरानंदानी ने उनके लॉगिन से सवाल भेजे. दर्शन हीरानंदानी ने माना कि उन्होंने महुआ मोइत्रा के जरिए सवाल पूछे. हीरानंदानी और अडानी कारोबारी प्रतिस्पर्धी हैं. महुआ ने संसद में 61 सवाल पूछे, इनमे से 50 सवाल ऐसे विषय पर थे जहां हीरानंदानी के कारोबारी हित अडानी से टकराते हैं. महुआ ने अडानी की कंपनियों के खिलाफ हीरानंदानी से सवाल ड्राफ्ट करवाए. हीरानंदानी ने महुआ की विदेश यात्राओं, होटल्स के बिल, पार्टियों का खर्चा उठाया, महुआ को महंगे महंगे तोहफे दिए, इसके बाद जांच के लिए, बचाव के लिए क्या बचता है? फिर भी कमेटी ने जांच की, सबके बयान दर्ज किए, महुआ को भी मौका दिया. मीटिंग में महुआ ने चेयरमैन पर पक्षपात के आरोप लगाए और जब तथ्यों के आधार पर महुआ को सदन से बाहर करने का फैसला कर दिया, तो महुआ ने कहा जिस वकील ने शिकायत की, उनसे उनका झगड़ा चल रहा है. महुआ के खिलाफ एक्शन का सियासी असर ये हुआ कि पांच राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनावों के दौरान जो विपक्ष बिखरा हुआ दिख रहा था, विरोधी दलों के जिस गठबंधन में दरारें दिख रही थीं, महुआ की सजा ने उस मोर्चे के सभी नेताओं को फिर एक साथ खड़ा कर दिया. सोनिया गांधी से लेकर JDU, RJD और समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता भी महुआ के पीछे खड़े दिखाई दिए. हालांकि सबने यही कहा कि महुआ को बचाव का मौका नहीं दिया गया, उन्हें बोलने का अवसर मिलना चाहिए था, महुआ के खिलाफ एक्शन में इतनी तेजी नहीं दिखानी चाहिए, लेकिन किसी ने ये नहीं कहा कि महुआ निर्दोष है. चूंकि मुद्दा भ्रष्टाचार का है, इसलिए इस मामले में ममता और महुआ के समर्थन में खड़े नेताओं को जवाब देना मुश्किल हो जाएगा. हालांकि भ्रष्टाचार के मसले पर कांग्रेस की मुसीबतें बढ़ने वाली हैं क्योंकि झारखंड में कांग्रेस के MP धीरज साहू के ठिकानों से आयकर विभाग ने 300 करोड़ रुपये नक़द बरामद किये हैं. .
MAHUA MOITRA’S EXPULSION HAS UNITED OPPOSITION
The Lok Sabha on Friday passed, by voice vote, a resolution expelling Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, after the House Ethics Committee found her guilty of accepting cash and gifts from a Dubai based businessman for asking questions targeting his rival Adani group in the House. The Ethics Committee report was placed at 12 noon, a discussion began at 2 pm, and by 3 pm, Mahua Moitra was expelled from the House. The Ethics Committee found Mahua’s conduct as “highly objectionable, unethical, heinous and criminal”. It recommended that the government should initiate an intense, legal and institutional inquiry in a time-bound manner into alleged cash transactions between her and the businessman. The Ethics Committee said her conduct “prima facie has an impact on national security” and such “serious misdemeanors” call for severe punishment not less than immediate expulsion. Mahua was supported inside and outside the House by her party Trinamool Congress and INDIA allies – Congress, RJD, JD-U, SP, DMK and others. Taking part in the debate, Congress leaders questioned why the government was in a hurry to expel her from membership. Outside the House, Mahua Moitra, flanked by Sonia Gandhi and others, read out the speech that she had prepared for reading inside the Lok Sabha. Mahua described her expulsion as the “most tenacious witch-hunt of one of 78 women MPs, a first-timer, a single woman with no political lineage, from a far-flung constituency on the Bangladesh border”. She said, “I am 49 years old. I will fight you for the next 30 years, inside and outside Parliament…If this government thought that by shutting me up, they are going to do away with the Adani issue, let me tell you this, this kangaroo court has shown to the whole of India that the haste and the abuse of due process you have used demonstrates how important Mr Adani is to you.” The opposition parties have closed ranks on the issue of Mahua’s expulsion. In Kurseong, North Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee described it as “murder of democracy” and vowed that the INDIA alliance will fight against this. Mamata Banerjee said, “the party was with Mahua, remains with her and will continue to stand by her on this issue…She will get justice in people’s parliament…To expel her is to cheat the mandate of the people…This only proves how vindictive BJP’s politics is.” In my view, expulsion of any member of Parliament is unfortunate, but Mahua Moitra’s behaviour did not leave any other option. It was an open and shut case, with no grey area in between. There was no iota of doubt left. Mahua herself admitted that she shared her login and password for Parliament website with businessman Darshan Hiranandani. The businessman used to post questions to Lok Sabha secretariat in her name. He has admitted on affidavit that Adani was his business rival. Mahua asked 61 questions in Lok Sabha, out of which 50 were on subjects relating to clash of business interests between Hiranandani and Adani. Mahua made Hiranandani draft questions against Adani group of companies. Hiranandani funded her foreign tours, hotel bills and party expenses, gave expensive gifts to her. What else is left to investigate on behalf of the defendant? Yet, the committee questioned people, and recorded their statements. It also gave Mahua a chance to present her side of the case, but at the meeting, Mahua alleged that the chairman was taking a partisan approach. When the committee recommended her expulsion, Mahua said, the original complainant, a lawyer named Jai Anant Dehadrai was her former friend against whom she was involved in a domestic dispute. The political consequence of her expulsion from Lok Sabha is that the opposition parties in INDIA alliance, who were squabbling during the state assembly polls, now stand united. Almost all the opposition leaders complained that Mahua was not allowed to speak inside the House in her defence and there was no need to hurry in expelling her. But none of them said Mahua is innocent. Since it is a matter of corruption, leaders who stand with Mahua and her leader Mamata, may find it difficult to give cogent replies. Congress’s troubles are bound to increase. Already, Income Tax department on Friday seized nearly Rs 330 crore cash and huge amount of gold ornaments from a Congress Rajya Sabha member Dhiraj Prasad Sahu.
EVM का मुंह काला करने से कुछ नहीं होगा, कांग्रेस आत्ममंथन करे
बीजेपी में तीन राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री के पद को लेकर मंथन हो रहा है तो कांग्रेस में हार को लेकर मंथन हो रहा है. लेकिन हार की वजह की जड़ में जाने की बजाय कांग्रेस सारा ठीकरा EVM पर फोड़ रही है. गुरुवार को भोपाल में राज भवन से कुछ दूरी पर कांग्रेस ने काफी ड्रामा किया. कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह और विधायक फूल सिंह बरैया डमी EVM मशीन लेकर आए थे. इन लोगों ने इस डमी EVM पर कालिख पोत दी. वैसे कालिख तो कांग्रेस नेता फूल सिंह बरैया के मुंह पर लगी औऱ सबसे मजेदार बात ये है कि उन्होंने खुद अपने चेहरे पर काला रंग लगवाया. दरअसल फूल सिंह बरैया ने ऐलान किया था कि अगर विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी को 50 से ज्यादा सीटें आए गईं तो वो अपने मुंह पर खुद कालिख लगाएंगे. बीजेपी डेढ़ सौ से ज्यादा सीटें जीत गई. इसके बाद फूल सिंह बरैया ने कहा कि उन्होंने एक बार जो वादा किया, उसे वो पूरा करते हैं. हालांकि मुंह पर काला रंग लगाने से पहले उन्होंने लंबा-चौड़ा भाषण दिया और बताया कि वो ऐसा क्यों कर रहे हैं. बरैया ने तो अपना पूरा चेहरा काला करने का वादा किया था और शायद वो ऐसा करते भी, लेकिन बीच में दिग्विजय सिंह आ गए. दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि बरैया अपना वादा पूरा करने को तैयार हैं, ये बहुत बड़ी बात है लेकिन कांग्रेस के लोग उनका चेहरा काला नहीं होने देंगे. दिग्विजय ने अपने हाथ से फूल सिंह बरैया के चेहरे पर काले रंग से 2-3 टीके लगाए और कहा कि ये टीके उन्हें नज़र लगाने से रोकने का काम करेंगे. दिग्विजय सिंह ने बरैया को तो पूरा चेहरा काला नहीं करने दिया लेकिन बरैया के समर्थन में कांग्रेस से जुड़े किसान नेता ने जरूर अपने चेहरे पर कालिख पोती. ग्वालियर के युवा कांग्रेस नेता योगेश दंडोतिया ने खुद अपने चेहरे पर काला रंग लगाया. दंडोतिया ने भी ये ऐलान किया था कि अगर बीजेपी 50 से ज्यादा सीट जीत गई तो वो खुद अपने चेहरे पर कालिख लगाएंगे. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने अपने चेहरे पर ये जो कालिख लगाई है वो तो धोने से उतर जाएगी लेकिन कांग्रेस के चेहरे पर हार की जो कालिख लगी है, उसके दाग इतनी जल्दी नहीं मिटेंगे. सबसे खास बात ये है कि हार के दाग मिटाने के तरीके खोजने की बजाए कांग्रेस एस्केप रूट तलाश रही है. हार पर मंथन करने की बजाए EVM को दोष दे रही है. रायपुर में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने सवाल किया कि जब जब EVM को लेकर कांग्रेस सवाल करती है, तो बीजेपी के नेता क्यों चिढ़ जाते हैं. बघेल ने पूछा कि चुनाव के नतीजे आये 6 दिन हो चुके हैं, लेकिन अभी तक बीजेपी अपने मुख्मंत्रियों का चयन क्यों नही कर पा रही है. कांग्रेस को इस बात की बड़ी चिंता है कि बीजेपी ने अभी तक तीन राज्यों में मुख्यमंत्री क्यों नहीं बनाएं. कांग्रेस के नेताओं को इस बात की भी परेशानी है कि मीडिया ने इसपर सवाल क्यों नहीं उठाए. बीजेपी के नेताओं को इस देरी से कोई परेशानी नहीं है. बीजेपी के किसी नेता ने कोई सवाल नहीं उठाया लेकिन कांग्रेस अपनी हार में भी मजा ले रही है. कांग्रेस को बीजेपी में घमासान दिखाई दे रहा है. उन्हें लगता है कि वसुंधरा राजे ने मोदी को आंख दिखाई, शिवराज के आगे मोदी मौन हो गए, और रमन सिंह ने मोदी का अमन भंग कर दिया, यही दर्शाता है कि कांग्रेस न मोदी को समझ पाई है और न ही बीजेपी के नेताओं को. ज़रा सोचिए आज की तारीख में बीजेपी के किस नेता की हिम्मत होगी की वो मोदी को आंख दिखाए. आंख तो अशोक गहलोत ने दिखाई थी राहुल गांधी को, हाई कमान की लाख कोशिश के बाद भी उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री पद नहीं छोड़ा. आंख तो कमलनाथ दिखा रहे हैं कि उनसे प्रदेश अध्यक्ष का पद छोड़ने को कहा गया है पर वो डटे हुए हैं. इसीलिए इस मामले में मीडिया को दोष देना ठीक नहीं है. ये सही है कि तीनों राज्यों में मुख्यमंत्रियों के नाम का ऐलान नहीं हुआ है लेकिन सबको पता है कि एक दो दिन में फैसला हो जाएगा और जो फैसला होगा उसपर कोई चूं भी नहीं करेगा. तीनों राज्यों में अभी तक किसी नेता ने मुख्यमंत्री पद का दावा नहीं किया है. कर्नाटक में कांग्रेस की जीत होते ही कई दावेदार मीडिया के सामने आकर खड़े हो गए. कांग्रेस के नेताओं को याद होगा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश में तो दो गुटों ने अपने अपने समर्थकों के साथ कैमरों के सामने शक्ति प्रदर्शन किया था. इसीलिए घमासान और टकराव की हेडलाइंस बनी. कांग्रेस को कड़वाहट छोड़कर इस बात पर मंथन करना चाहिए कि तीन राज्यों में उसकी जीत के दावे गलत क्यों हुए. जनता ने मोदी की गारंटी को क्यों स्वीकार किया? EVM का मुंह काला करने की बजाय ये सोचें कि तेलंगाना में इसी EVM ने कैसे जिताया.
SHOWING WRATH OVER EVMs WON’T DO, CONGRESS MUST INTROSPECT
At a time when the BJP leadership is busy selecting the chief ministers for the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the Congress, instead of introspecting and analyzing the reasons for its electoral debacle, is busy blaming Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Outside the Raj Bhavan in Bhopal on Thursday, Congress workers smeared black ink on a poster depicting an electronic voting machine. They were led by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and elected MLA Phool Singh Baraiya. Soon after the MP results were out, Digvijaya Singh had written on social media that he had been opposing use of EVMs since 2003. Digvijaya Singh had written in his ‘X’ post that “any machine with a chip can be hacked. I have opposed voting by EVM since 2003. Can we allow our Indian democracy to be controlled by professional hackers? This is the fundamental question which all political parties will have to address. Hon. ECI and Hon. Supreme Court, will you defend Indian democracy?” During campaigning, Baraiya had challenged that he would blacken his own face if the BJP won more than 50 seats in MP. On Thursday, Digvijaya Singh put some token black marks on his face to fulfil the latter’s promise. These black marks will wash off soon, but the black mark on the party’s face because of the crushing defeat, will take time to worn off. Instead of washing off the black mark of defeat, Congress is trying to find escape routes and blaming EVMs. In Raipur, former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel raked up the EVM tampering issue and asked, ‘Whenever Congress or anyone else ask questions regarding EVM tampering, BJP gets irritated. BJP should tell why it gets irritated when questions on EVMs are asked.” Baghel asked why BJP leadership is taking such a long time to decide about the chief ministers. It seems Congress leaders are more worried about why BJP is not selecting its chief ministers for the three states. Congress leaders are also questioning why media is not raking this up to make it a big issue. BJP leaders are not at all worried about the delay in selecting CMs. Not a single BJP leader has raised question over the delay till now. But the Congress is enjoying this despite its crushing defeat in three states. Congress leaders expect infighting among BJP leaders. They expect Vasundhara Raje, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Dr Raman Singh to raise voices of dissent in BJP. The problem is, Congress leaders have not yet understood Modi or BJP leaders. Can any BJP leader raise a banner of revolt against Modi? It was Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan who refused to resign despite pressures from Rahul Gandhi and the Congress high command. It is Kamal Nath, who despite being told to resign from the post of state party chief, has not yet done so. There is no point in Congress leaders blaming the media. It is true that the names of BJP chief ministers in all the three states have not yet been announced, but it is an open fact that the names will become public in a day or two. Nobody in BJP will raise a voice of dissent over any decision on CM. Not a single BJP leader from the three states has staked his or her claim on chief ministership. In Karnataka, when Congress returned to power, several claimants came forward for the post of CM. Congress leaders must remember how supporters of two camps showed their strength in front of cameras when the CM was being decided in Himachal Pradesh. It was only then that media made headlines over such issues. It would be better if Congress leaders, leave aside their bitterness, and sit together to analyze why their claims of victory before counting proved wrong. Why the people of the three states accepted “Modi’s Guarantee”? Instead of blackening EVM posters, they should realize how EVMs declared the Congress victorious with a thumping majority in Telangana.
DEATH OF TERRORISTS IN PAKISTAN: WHO’S BEHIND IT ?
The recent killings of anti-Indian terrorists living in Pakistan are not only surprising but have also sent a shivering down the spines of other terrorists hiding in Pakistan and Pak Occupied Kashmir. On December 3, Adnan Ahmed alias Abu Hanzla, a top-ranking Lashkar-e-Tayyaba commander, who masterminded lethal attacks on security convoys in India, was gunned down by unknown persons in Karachi. A close associate of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, he had coordinated the terror attack on a CRPF convoy in Pampore, Kashmir in 2016 resulting in eight casualties. He also masterminded the attack on a BSF convoy in Udhampur in 2015 in which two BSF jawans were killed. He was involved in planning and execution of a dozen suicidal attacks in Kashmir Valley during the past one year. He was provided a two-tier security ring by Pakistan’s espionage agency ISI, but the assailants managed to break the cordon and shot him multiple times. His bullet-ridden boy was found in a van. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was declared dead. Abu Hanzala had shifted base from Rawalpindi to Karachi in 2020. He had worked as the chief of Milli Muslim League, the political arm of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba. Already political and media circles in Pakistan are agog with speculations about whose hand is behind the killings of terrorists. The latest attack comes a month after two terrorists were mysteriously eliminated. They are LeT commander Akram Ghazi and Khwaja Shahid. Akram Ghazi was killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, while Khwaja Shahid Ilyas was abducted and later found beheaded near the Line of Control in Pak Occupied Kashmir on November 5. Khwaja Shahid weas the mastermind behind the terror attack in 2018 in Sunjwan, Kashmir. Already, terror has gripped the Lashkar fraternity about whose turn will be next. In October, Dawood Malik, a close aide of wanted terror mastermind Maulana Masood Azhar, was killed in North Waziristan by unknown gunmen. Dawood Malik was the founder of Lashkar-e-Jabbar. On October 11, Shahid Latif, a wanted terrorist and key mastermind of 2016 Pathankot terror attack, was shot by unknown gunmen in Sialkot, Pakistan. On October 1, Mufti Qaiser Farooq, a Lashkar-e-Taiba leader and close associate of Hafiz Saeed was also killed. Mufti Qaiser Farooq was among the masterminds behind 26/11 Mumbai attacks. In May this year, Abdul Salam Bhuttavi, brother of Hafiz Saeed was found dead in his prison cell in Pakistan. Jail authorities later said he died of cardiac arrest. On March 1 this year, Mistry Zahoor Ibrahim, one of hijackers of Indian Airlines plane which was taken to Kandahar, was shot in Karachi. It was he who stabbed Indian passenger Rupin Katyal during the hijacking incident in 1999. Sajid Mir, one of the terrorists who masterminded 26/11 Mumbai attacks, was found poisoned inside his jail cell in Dera Ghazi Khan. He was taken to an army hospital, where he died. It was Sajid Mir, who used to give directions to the terrorists in 26/11 Mumbai attacks over phone. His telephonic audio conversations were played by Indian authorities in the United Nations. Sajid Mir was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment in Pakistan. Pakistani police is trying to find out the person who gave poisonous food to Sajid Mir in jail. Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode, who masterminded the bomb blast at Ludhiana court, was also killed. The mysterious part of these killings is that Pakistani authorities are trying to suppress leak of details about these murders. Pakistani security expert Qamar Cheema said, this is not the first time that any wanted terrorist was killed in Pakistan. He alleged that Pakistan government, army and ISIS are suppressing details of these killings. In the last one year, at least 12 terrorists have been killed in Pakistan. Almost all of them were involved in terror attacks in India. According to security sources, several terrorists wanted by India, including Syed Khalid Raza, Bashir Ahmed Pir, Paramjit Singh Panwar, Sardar Husain, Riaz Ahmed alias Abu Qasim, Zia ur Rehman, Shahid Ilyas, Muhammed Muzammil, have been killed in Pakistan. In September this year, terrorist Riaz Ahmed alias Abu Qasim was shot dead by unknown persons in POK. In ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show last week, I had askewd Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri why anti-Indian terrorists are being killed one by one in Pakistan, and whether Indian agencies had any role in these killings. He replied: “Should we all shed tear on these (killings)?..I am not involved in foreign or security matters, but I can tell you, ,this is not our style…. even though people here say, they should be killed… You can say (why they shouldn’t be killed) , but I cannot say. ..The reason could be group rivalries, like (those happening) in Balochistan. But we must remember, what these Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists did in India. After Modi Ji came to power, look at his decision making. Srinagar Smart City ads have started appearing, flights to Kashmir have increased.” On Wednesday, Home Minister Amit Shah told the Lok Sabha that terror related incidents have declined after 2014 when Modi came to power. There is no doubt that the number of terror incidents in the Valley registers a decline, when their masterminds hide in their ratholes. The question is, who is striking fear in the hearts of these terrorists hiding in Pakistan? Who is trying to square up the account? Pakistani media is blaming Indian intelligence agents, Pakistani security expert is blaming RAW. If our intelligence is so strong and resourceful, as to enter Pakistan and eliminate terrorists, it should be a matter of pride for all of us. What is wrong if RAW secret agents are taking revenge for the death of hundreds of innocents in terror attacks in India? The bitter truth is: after 26/11 Mumbai attacks and other terror attacks, Indian government sent dossiers on terrorists to Pakistan. Nothing happened. Evidence about involvement of terrorists in attacks were sent to Pakistan. Nothing happened. India raised its voice at international forums. Nothing happened. There was no way out, except to repay the killers in their own coin. Indian government will surely say that this is not our policy. The US will ask how Indian agents can take revenge on foreign soil. In that case, people must ask the US, why its Navy SEAL commandos entered Pakistan to kill Osama bin Laden? Why were they not put on trial in Pakistan? The truth is that Pakistan has become a safe haven for dreaded terrorists. Terror masterminds like Hafiz Saeed, Maulana Masood Azhar, Dawood Ibrahim, Abdul Rehman Makki are still living in Pakistan. Does India have no right to take the killers of innocent people to task? It does not matter if Pakistan says that these are ‘targeted killings’ of terrorists. The nice part is that there is a debate going on in Pakistan that India has changed and it can strike even inside Pakistan.

और खौफ इस बात का है कि इनकी हिटलिस्ट में अगला नंबर किसका है? मंगलवार को खबर आई थी कि मुंबई के 26/11 हमलों को मास्टरमाइंड साजिद मीर को जेल में ज़हर देकर मार दिया गया. वो डेरा गाज़ी खान की सेंट्रल जेल में बंद था. पाकिस्तान से एक और आतंकवादी लखबीर सिंह रोडे की मौत की खबर भी आई. रोडे लुधियाना कोर्ट में धमाके को अंजाम देने वाला खालिस्तान समर्थक आतंकवादी था. अब सवाल ये है कि पाकिस्तान के अंदर वो अनजान क़ातिल कौन हैं, जो ISI की कड़ी सुरक्षा के बावजूद हत्याएं करने में कामयाब रहे? वो कौन हैं जिनकी पहुंच पाकिस्तानी जेलों के अंदर भी है? वो कौन हैं जो जब चाहे जहां चाहे भारत के दुश्मनों को निशाना बना लेते हैं? नोट करने वाली बात ये है कि अब तक जितने क़त्ल हुए हैं, उसमें उन्हीं दहशतगर्दों की मौत हुई है जिनका भारत में हुए हमलों में बड़ा रोल रहा है. लश्कर का ऑपरेटिव अदनान अहमद उर्फ अबु हंजला भी उनमें से एक था. अदनान 2015 में उधमपुर में BSF के काफ़िले पर हमले का मास्टमाइंड था, 2016 में पांपोर में CRPF के कैंप पर हमले में भी उसका नाम आया था. अदनान को कराची के नाज़िमाबाद इलाक़े में उसके छुपने के अड्डे पर गोली मारी गई. जख़्मी हालत में उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां उसने दम तोड़ दिया. पाकिस्तानी मीडिया में अदनान की हत्या की बहुत चर्चा हो रही है. वहां के डिफेंस एक्सपर्ट, पाकिस्तानी फौज के क़रीबी लोग ही अदनान की हत्या पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं. वो सीधे-सीधे अदनान के क़त्ल के लिए भारतीय सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को ज़िम्मेदार ठहरा रहे हैं. अदनान अहमद के बारे में पता चला है कि उसे 3 दिसंबर को कराची में गोली मारी गई थी लेकिन पाकिस्तान में उसकी हत्या की ख़बर को छुपाया गया. पाकिस्तान के सिक्योरिटी एक्सपर्ट क़मर चीमा ने कहा कि ये पहला मौक़ा नहीं है, जब भारत में वांटेड किसी शख़्स को पाकिस्तान में मार दिया गया. क़मर चीमा ने कहा कि ऐसा लगता है कि भारत के एजेंट, पाकिस्तान में घुसकर, अपने देश के दुश्मनों का सफ़ाया कर रहे हैं, और बेइज़्ज़ती से बचने के लिए पाकिस्तान सरकार, ISI और वहां की फ़ौज ये बातें छुपा रही है. क़मर चीमा ने जो बात इशारों में कही, उसकी जानकारी मैं आपको विस्तार से देता हूं. दरअसल पिछले एक साल में पाकिस्तान के अलग अलग इलाक़ों में अदनान जैसे 12 आतंकवादी मारे जा चुके हैं. ये सब वो आतंकवादी थे, जो भारत में कई हमलों में शामिल थे, भारत में ये लोग वांटेड थे. दो दिन पहले ही ख़बर आई थी कि लश्कर के एक और आतंकी साजिद मीर को लाहौर की कोट लखपत जेल में ज़हर दिया गया जिसके बाद उसकी हालत गंभीर हो गई. साजित मीर को लाहौर के आर्मी हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उसकी मौत हो गई. साजिद मीर मुंबई पर 26/11 के हमले की साज़िश में शामिल था. मुंबई पर हमले के दौरान वो कराची से सैटेलाइट फ़ोन पर आतंकवादियों को हिदायत दे रहा था. भारतीय सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने उसकी बात को रिकॉर्ड भी किया था और उसका ऑडियो यूनाइटेड नेशंस में भी सुनाया गया था. साजिद मीर को आतंकी फंडिंग के जुर्म में आठ साल क़ैद की सज़ा सुनाई गई थी और वो लाहौर की जेल में सज़ा काट रहा था. जेल में ही उसको ज़हर दिया गया. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि जिस शख़्स को साजिद मीर को खाना देने की ज़िम्मेदारी थी, वो लापता है और पाकिस्तानी पंजाब की पुलिस उसको तलाश रही है. सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के मुताबिक़, पिछले एक साल में भारत में वांटेड, सैयद ख़ालिद रज़ा, बशीर अहमद पीर, परमजीत सिंह पंजवाड़, सरदार हुसैन, रियाज़ अहमद उर्फ़ अबु क़ासिम, ज़िया उर रहमान, शाहिद लतीफ़, शाहिद इलियास, मुहम्मद मुज़म्मिल, लखबीर सिंह रोड़े जैसे कई आतंकवादी पाकिस्तान में मारे जा चुके हैं. इन सब का भारत में किसी न किसी आतंकवादी हमले में हाथ रहा था. ख़ास तौर से लश्कर-ए-तैयबा और जैश-ए-मुहम्मद के आतंकवादियों को चुन-चुनकर पाकिस्तान में टारगेट किया जा रहा है. अबु हंजला से पहले 9 नवंबर को अकरम ख़ान ग़ाज़ी को अज्ञात लोगों ने पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर में गोली मार दी थी. 5 नवंबर को लश्कर का एक और आतंकवादी ख्वाजा शाहिद इलियास की लाश लाइन ऑफ़ कंट्रोल के पास मिली थी. उसका सर क़लम कर दिया गया था. इसी साल सितंबर में रियाज़ अहमद उर्फ़ अबु क़ासिम को POK में अज्ञात लोगों ने गोली मार दी थी. वहीं, अक्टूबर में पठानकोट हमले के मास्टरमाइंड शाहिद लतीफ़ की पाकिस्तान में गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी… शाहिद लतीफ़ को सियालकोट शहर में उस वक़्त गोली मारी गई, जब वो मस्जिद से बाहर निकल रहा था. वो जैश-ए-मुहम्मद से जुड़ा हुआ था. 1994 में शाहित लतीफ़ को भारत में 16 साल क़ैद की सज़ा मिली थी. सज़ा काटने के बाद 2010 में शाहिद लतीफ़ को रिहा करके पाकिस्तान भेज दिया गया था. पिछले हफ़्ते जब केंद्रीय मंत्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ‘आप की अदालत’ शो में मेरे मेहमान थे. मैंने उनसे पूछा था कि पाकिस्तान में एक के बाद एक भारत के दुश्मनों की मौत कैसे हो रही है? क्या इसमें भारत की एजेंसियों का रोल है? हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने कहा, क्या इन लोगों की मौत पर हम सब रोयें? मैं विदेश और सुरक्षा मामलों से जुड़ा नहीं हूं, लेकिन मैं कह सकता हूं कि ये हमारी स्टाइल नहीं है, भले ही लोग कहें कि ऐसे लोगों की हत्या होनी चाहिए….(इनकी हत्या होनी चाहिए) ये आप कह सकते हैं, मैं नहीं… हो सकता है आपस में दुश्मनी हो, जैसे कि बलूचिस्तान में हो रहा है.. पर हमें याद रखना चाहिए कि लश्कर-ए-तैयबा के आतंकियों ने यहां क्या किया..मोदी जी के आने के बाद उनकी decision making देखिए, कश्मीर में श्रीनगर स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए ads आ रहे हैं, कश्मीर जाने वाली उड़ानों की समख्या बढ़ रही है..” एक तरफ पाकिस्तान में आतंकी मारे जा रहे हैं तो वहीं संविधान से धारा 370 हटने के बाद भारत में आतंकवादी घटनाओं में कमी आई है. गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने लोकसभा में बुधवार को बताया कि 2014 में मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद, आतंकी घटनाओं में कमी आई है. इसमे कोई शक नहीं कि आतंकवाद की घटनाएं कम तब होती हैं, जब आतंकवादी डर कर बिलों में घुस जाते हैं. अब सवाल ये है कि पाकिस्तान में बैठे इन आतंकवादियों को किसने डराया? इनका हिसाब किसने बराबर किया? पाकिस्तान में मीडिया कह रहा है कि इंडियन इंटेलिजेंस एजेंट्स का काम है. पाकिस्तान में सिक्योरिटी एक्सपर्ट इसे हमारी RAW का काम बता रहे हैं. अगर हमारी इंटेलिजेंस इतनी ताकतवर है कि वो पाकिस्तान में घुसकर आतंकवादियों का सफाया कर रही है, तो ये तो गर्व की बात है. अगर हमारी RAW के सीक्रेट एजेंट्स भारत में हुए आतंकवादी हमलों में मारे गए बेकसूर लोगों की हत्याओं का बदला ले रहे हैं, तो इसमें बुरा क्या है? ये कड़वा सच है कि पाकिस्तान को डोजियर भेजने से कुछ नहीं हुआ. पाकिस्तान को इन दहशतगर्दों की, नापाक हरकतों के सबूत देने का कोई असर नहीं हुआ. इंटरनेशनल forums पर आवाज उठाने का भी कोई नतीजा नहीं निकला. ऐसे लोगों को उनकी भाषा में जवाब देने के अलावा और कोई रास्ता नहीं है. लेकिन सरकार यही कहेगी कि ये भारत की पॉलिसी नहीं है. अमेरिका भी कहेगा कि आप दूसरों की धरती पर जाकर बदला कैसे ले सकते हैं. पर अमेरिका से कोई पूछे कि उसने पाकिस्तान में घुसकर ओसामा बिन लादेन को क्यों मारा था? उस पर पाकिस्तान की अदालतों में मुकदमा क्यों नहीं चलाया गया? सच तो ये है कि पाकिस्तान खूंखार आतंकवादियों के लिए सुरक्षित शरणस्थल बना हुआ है. अभी भी हाफिज सईद, मसूद अज़हर, दाऊद इब्राहिम, अब्दुल रहमान मक्की जैसे आतंकवादी पाकिस्तान में मौजूद हैं. क्या हिंदुस्तान को ये हक़ नहीं है उसके मासूम नागरिकों की हत्या करने वालों को उनके अंजाम तक पहुंचाया जाए? इस बात से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि पाकिस्तान में आतंकियों के टारगेटेड किलिंग को लेकर भारत पर दोष मढ़ा जा रहा है. अच्छी बात तो ये है कि पाकिस्तान में इस बात की चर्चा है कि ये बदला हुआ भारत है, जो घर में घुसकर मारता है.
DMK सांसद की ‘गोमूत्र राज्य’ टिप्पणी निंदाजनक
एक तरफ जहां भारतीय जनता पार्टी मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और राजस्थान में मुख्यमंत्रियों के चयन में व्यस्त है, वहीं ऐसा लग रहा है कि कांग्रेस और कुछ विरोधी पार्टियां इस हार को बर्दाश्त नहीं कर पा रही हैं. कांग्रेस ने इस जीत पर सवाल उठाने शुरू कर दिए. दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि EVM में गड़बड़ी हुई है. रविवार को अपनी हार स्वीकार करने वाले कमलनाथ ने भी पैंतरा बदला. भोपाल में सभी विजयी और पराजित उम्मीदवारों के साथ बैठक के बाद कमल नाथ ने आरोप लगाया कि चुनाव में हेराफेरी हुई है. कमलनाथ और दिग्विजय सिंह ने अपनी पार्टी के नेताओं को हिदायत दी कि हार को स्वीकार नहीं करना है, इस हार के लिए EVM को जिम्मेदार ठहराना है. लेकिन बीजेपी की जीत पर सबसे गिरा हुआ बयान दिया DMK के सांसद सेंथिल कुमार ने. संसद में एक बहस के दौरान सेंथिल कुमार ने कहा कि बीजेपी जिन राज्यों में चुनाव जीती है, वो ‘गोमूत्र राज्य’ हैं. सेंथिल कुमार के बयान पर चारों तरफ से तीखे हमले हुए. बीजेपी ने इसे सनातन का अपमान कहा. केंद्र सरकार में मंत्री अश्विनी चौबे ने कहा कि जनता DMK और कांग्रेस को गौमाता का अपमान करने के लिए सबक सिखाएगी. जब बात हाथ से निकलने लगी तो कांग्रेस के पूर्व सांसद मिलिंद देवड़ा ने बयान को दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताया. कांग्रेस के सांसद कार्ति चिदंबरम ने सेंथिल कुमार से अपना बयान वापस लेने को कहा. पहले देखें कि सेंथिल कुमार ने क्या कहा. उन्होने कहा – “इस देश के लोगों को सोचना चाहिए कि बीजेपी की एक ही ताक़त है चुनाव जीतना और भी ख़ास तौर से हिंदी पट्टी के राज्यों में, जिनको हम गौमूत्र राज्य कहते हैं. वो दक्षिण में नहीं जीत सकते हैं. आप देखिए कि दक्षिण के सारे राज्यों, तमिलनाडु, केरल, तेलंगाना और कर्नाटक के नतीजे क्या रहे हैं. तो हम वहां बहुत मज़बूत हैं. ऐसे में हमें हैरानी नहीं होगी अगर आप इन सभी राज्यों को केंद्र शासित प्रदेश बना देंगे और पर्दे के पीछे से वहां राज करेंगे. क्योंकि इसके अलावा आप वहां पर पांव जमाने और इन सभी राज्यों पर नियंत्रण करने का सपना भी नहीं देख सकते हैं.” DMK सांसद सेंथिल कुमार का ये बयान बेहद आपत्तिजनक है. वो संसद में खड़े होकर मतादाताओं के फ़ैसले पर सवाल उठा रहे थे, जनता की राय का अपमान कर रहे थे. हैरानी तो तब हुई जब सदन से बाहर आकर कुछ नेता उनका समर्थन करने लगे. तमिलनाडु की पार्टी MDMK के नेता वायको ने कहा कि सेंथिल कुमार ने जो कुछ कहा, वो उससे शत प्रतिशत सहमत हैं. अखिलेश यादव की समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद एस टी हसन ने कहा कि “बीजेपी की पहचान ही यही है, बीजेपी हिंदुत्व के नाम पर वोट लेती है, उनके हिंदुत्व में गोमूत्र भी शामिल है.” DMK के नेता पहले भी सनातन धर्म के ख़िलाफ़ बयान दे चुके हैं. तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन के बेटे उदयनिधि स्टालिन ने भी सनातन धर्म को मलेरिया और डेंगू कहा था. बीजेपी सांसद सुशील मोदी ने कहा कि INDIA गठबंधन तो हिंदू विरोधी है ही, लेकिन जनता सनातन का अपमान बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगी, सनातन विरोधी दलों को सबक़ ज़रूर सिखाएगी. दो दिन पहले ही चुनाव के नतीजे आए हैं. इनमें से तीन में कांग्रेस की हार हुई. कांग्रेस को पता है कि इन चुनावों में बीजेपी ने उदयनिधि स्टालिन के बयान को, सनातन के अपमान को बड़ा मुद्दा बनाया. इसका असर चुनाव के नतीजों पर भी पड़ा. इसलिए जैसे ही सेंथिल कुमार का बयान आया, कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने उसकी निंदा करनी शुरू कर दी. तमिलनाडु से ही कांग्रेस के सांसद कार्ति चिदंबरम ने सेंथिल कुमार के बयान को दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण, असंसदीय और अपमानजनक बताया. कहा, उन्हें फौरन अपने शब्द वापिस लेने चाहिए. कांग्रेस के नेता मिलिंद देवड़ा ने कहा कि गौमाता को इस देश के एक अरब लोग पूजते हैं, डीएमके को समझना होगा कि ऐसे बेतुके बयान से सहयोगियों को नुक़सान होता है. लोकसभा में कांग्रेस के नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस गौमाता की पूजा करती है और वो ऐसे बयानों का बिल्कुल समर्थन नहीं करते. केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने अभी तीन राज्यों के चुनाव में हारकर, सनातन के अपमान की क़ीमत चुकाई है. अब अगले चुनाव में जनता इससे भी कड़ा सबक़ सिखाएगी. केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी चौबे ने कहा कि DMK नेता ऐसे बयान कांग्रेस के इशारे पर दे रहे हैं और ये देश गाय, गीता और गंगा का अपमान कभी बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा. शाम को मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन ने अपने सांसद से कहा कि वह अपने शब्द वापिस लें. सेंथिल कुमार ने कहा कि वो तो पहले भी उत्तर के राज्यों के बारे में ऐसा कह चुके हैं, सदन के रिकॉर्ड में उनका बयान है लेकिन, अगर किसी को ऐतराज़ है, तो वो आगे से सावधान रहेंगे. ऐसे लफ़्ज़ों का इस्तेमाल नहीं करेंगे, जिससे किसी की भावना को चोट पहुंचे. जिस देश में गौमाता की पूजा की जाती है, जहां गाय से हिंदू समाज की भावनाएं जुड़ी हैं, वहां गौमाता का अपमान करना निंदनीय और शर्मनाक है. चुनाव में हार-जीत होती रहती है पर बीजेपी की जीत वाले राज्यों को गोमूत्र स्टेट कहना एक विकृत मानसिकता का परिचायक है. चुनाव में हार जीत होती रहती है, लेकिन इसे नॉर्थ-साउथ में बांटकर कहना एक खतरनाक प्रवृत्ति है. DMK के नेताओं को अगर ये लगता है कि सनातन का अपमान करके, गौमाता का मजाक उड़ाकर, वो गीता और गायत्री के देश में पनप पाएंगे तो वो गलतफहमी में हैं. दक्षिण भारत में भी मंदिर हैं, वहां भी सनातन को मानने वाले लोग हैं, वहां भी गौमाता का सम्मान किया जाता है बल्कि मैं तो कहूंगा कि दक्षिण के मंदिरों में कर्मकांड और पूजा के विधि-विधान का बेहतर स्वरूप देखने को मिलता है. इसीलिए ऐसे ज़हर भरे बयान नुकसानदेह साबित हो सकते हैं. ये तो अच्छा हुआ कि कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने समय रहते इन बयानों से किनारा कर लिया, DMK का साथ नहीं दिया लेकिन कांग्रेस ने बीजेपी की जीत को EVM की गड़बड़ी बताकर अपनी हताशा जाहिर कर दी.
EVM में हेराफेरी का आरोप
कांग्रेस ने मंगलवार को भोपाल में अपनी हार का विश्लेषण करने के लिए विधायकों, हारे हुए उम्मीदवारों और सीनियर नेताओं की बैठक बुलाई थी. हारे हुए उम्मीदवारों से कहा गया कि वे हार के कारण बताएं. हर नेता अपनी अलग अलग रिपोर्ट बनाकर दे लेकिन रिपोर्ट आने से पहले ही कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह ने हार की वजह बता दी. दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी EVM में गड़बड़ियों की वजह से हारी, EVM से छेड़खानी की गई, कांग्रेस के वोट घटाए गए, बीजेपी के वोट बढ़ाए गए और नतीजा कांग्रेस के ख़िलाफ़ रहा. दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि पोस्टल बैलट में कांग्रेस जीती, EVM में बटन कांग्रेस के निशान के पास दबा और जीत गई बीजेपी. दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि EVM में चिप लगी होती है, उनको हैक किया जा सकता है इसीलिए उनको EVM पर बिल्कुल भरोसा नहीं है . मीटिंग के बाद कमलनाथ खुलकर नहीं बोले. उन्होंने कहा कि सबको पता है कि क्या हुआ, एक्जिट पोल भी तय थे और नतीजे भी..
कमलनाथ ने सवाल उठाया कि 10 घंटे चलने के बावजूद ईवीएम गिनती वाले दिन 99 परसेंट कैसे चार्ज्ड नज़र आई. कमलनाथ ने सवाल किया कि एक विधायक को अपने ही गांव में 5 वोट भी महीं मिले, ये कैसे हो सकता है? कांग्रेस को हराया गया है, EVM के जरिए साजिश हुई है, अब EVM के इस्तेमाल का विरोध होना चाहिए. कांग्रेस विधायक फूल सिंह बरैया ने कहा कि बीजेपी ने बहुत चतुराई से, एक रणनीति के तहत काम किया, इसीलिए, सारी EVM से छेड़-छाड़ नहीं की. बरैया ने कहा कि बीजेपी ने कुछ सीटों पर विपक्ष को भी जिता दिया, तेलंगाना में कांग्रेस को जिता दिया, जिससे कोई EVM पर सवाल उठाए, तो कह दें कि EVM हैक हुई, तो तेलंगाना में कांग्रेस कैसे जीत गई? दिलचस्प बात ये है कि नतीजे आने के एक दिन बाद ख़ुद कांग्रेस के नेता कह रहे थे कि उनका वोट बैंक इंटैक्ट है. चारों राज्यों को मिला दें तो कांग्रेस को बीजेपी से ज़्यादा वोट मिले हैं. कांग्रेस के महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने तो ट्वीट करके बताया कि कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के वोट शेयर में कोई ख़ास अंतर नहीं है. कांग्रेस की प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने आंकड़े भी गिना दिए कि कांग्रेस को BJP से दस लाख वोट ज़्यादा मिले. मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने पूछा कि EVM में गड़बड़ी थी, तो कमलनाथ के छिंदवाड़ा में कांग्रेस सातों सीट कैसे जीत गई. दिग्विजय सिंह का ये कहना कि EVM में कांग्रेस निशान का बटन दबा, पर वोट बीजेपी को पड़ा, उनकी हताशा दिखाता है. इसे कहते हैं- खिसियानी बिल्ली खंभा नोचे. शिवराज सिंह ने सही सवाल पूछा. अगर EVM में गड़बड़ी थी तो कमलनाथ के इलाके में कांग्रेस सातों सीटें कैसे जीत गईं, कोई पूछे क्या तेलंगाना में कांग्रेस EVM में गड़बड़ी करके जीती है? कुछ महीने पहले कर्नाटक और हिमाचल प्रदेश में कांग्रेस की जीत क्या EVM में हेराफेरी करके हुई थी? अपनी हार को स्वीकार न करना दिग्विजय सिंह जैसे नेताओं की पुरानी आदत है. कांग्रेस जब तक अपनी हार के कारण का ईमानदारी से आत्मविश्लेषण नहीं करेगी, तब तक वो समझ ही नहीं पाएगी कि इन राज्यों में जनता ने कांग्रेस को वोट क्यों नहीं दिया. कांग्रेस को इस बात पर विचार करना चाहिए कि लोगों ने उनके वादों पर भरोसा क्यों नहीं किया और मोदी की गारंटी पर विश्वास क्यों किया. अगर इस बात को नहीं समझे, तो आगे भी कुछ नहीं कर पाएंगे और कांग्रेस का आकार और छोटा होता जाएगा.
DMK MP’s ‘GOMUTRA STATES’ REMARK IS CONDEMNABLE
On a day when the ruling BJP was busy trying to select its chief ministers for the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the opposition appeared to be unable to digest its defeat. While Congress leaders in MP blamed EVM irregularities for the defeat, a DMK MP made a derogatory and disparaging remark about the voters of these three Hindi-speaking states. Dr DNV Senthilkumar S. while taking part in a debate inside the House, said, “The people of this country must know that BJP’s only strength is how to win elections, and that too in Hindi belt states, which we call ‘Gomutra states’. They cannot win in the South. Look at the results in all southern states, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana and Karnataka, where we are strong. I will not be surprised if they convert all these states into union territories and rule them from behind the curtain. Because they cannot even dream of gaining a foothold in the South and control these states.” The ‘Gomutra states’ remark was later removed from the proceedings by the Speaker. In the evening, Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin pulled up his MP and told him to issue an apology. Dr Senthilkumar wrote on X, “Commenting on the results of the five recent state assembly elections, I have used a word in an inappropriate way. Not using that term with any intent, I apologize for sending the wrong meaning across.” Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury distanced his party from the DMK MP’s remark and said, “ we all respect ‘gau mata’ as the mother. What has been said is a remark by an individual and we have nothing to do with what he said.” Former Congress MP Milind Deora described the remark as ‘unfortunate’ while Congress MP Karthi Chidambaram asked Dr Senthilkumar to withdraw his “insulting and unparliamentary” remark. The DMK MP was questioning the mandate given by the voters in the three states of MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. MDMK leader Vaiko said, he “ agreed 100 per cent with what Senthilkumar said”. Samajwadi Party MP S T Hassan also supported the DMK MP’s remark and said, “this is the true identity of BJP, they get votes because of Hindutva, which includes respecting Gomutra”. After BJP leaders and ministers lashed out at the DMK over this remark, the Congress started damage control by evening. Congress leaders know that BJP had made DMK leader Udaynidhi Stalin’s remark on ‘Sanatan’ an issue during the elections and it had an impact on the result. Dr Senthilkumar said, he had made similar remarks about Hindi cow-belt states inside the House earlier too and they are part of proceedings. In a nation where Gau Mata is revered and worshipped as Mother, the sentiments of millions of Hindus are linked with it. Any insulting remark about Gau Mata is shameful and condemnable. Parties win and lose in elections, but to describe the states where BJP won as “Gomutra states” reveals a sickening mindset. Parties win and lose, but it is a dangerous tendency if somebody tries to create a North-South divide. If DMK leaders feel that that they will gain advantage by insulting Sanatan or making fun of Gau Mata in a nation which worships Gita and Gayatri, they are mistaken. There are thousands of Hindu temples in South India, and there are millions of people in the South who have faith in Sanatan religion. Even in those states, Gau Mata is revered. I would rather say that the rituals of worship that are performed in the temples of South India are better compared to those in the North. Such remarks laced with venom can only prove counter-productive. It is good that Congress leaders reacted in time and distanced themselves from the DMK MP remark.
CONGRESS ALLEGES EVM TAMPERING
On Tuesday, Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh alleged anomalies in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in MP. After a review meeting with his candidates in Bhopal, Kamal Nath alleged that at least 100 EVMs were found charged up to 99 per cent at the time of counting. Kamal Nath questioned, “how can the machines be charged 99 per cent, if they have been used for voting for 10 hours?” He alleged that most of the votes in these 100 EVMs went to BJP. Kamal Nath also said, even our party candidates did not get even 50 votes in their own villages. “How is this possible?”, he asked. Congress leader Digvijaya Singh said, “nobody can say where the vote went after the EVM button is pressed. On VVPAT, it shows for only seven seconds. The machine in which the chip is installed can be hacked.” Kamal Nath went to the extent of saying that both the exit polls and actual results were “fixed”. Another Congress leader Phool Singh Baraiya alleged that “BJP worked smartly, with a strategy. They did not tamper with all EVMs. They allowed the opposition win in some seats, and allowed Congress to win in Telangana, so that nobody can question EVM.” Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said, Congress got 10 lakh more votes than BJP. MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “if the EVMs were tampered, how did the Congress, including Kamal Nath, won all seven seats in Chhindwara?” The statement by Digvijaya Singh that after pushing the EVM button, the vote went to BJP, shows his frustration. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has raised the right question about how Congress won in Chhindwara. Can anyone say that the Congress won Telangana through rigging? In May this year, the Congress won in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh polls? Was it due to EVM rigging? It is the old habit of leaders like Digvijaya Singh of not admitting defeat. Unless the Congress sincerely carries out self-introspection on its defeat, it will never understand why the people in the three states did not vote for Congress. Congress leaders should ponder why the common voter did not trust their ‘guarantees’ (promises), and instead reposed their trust in “Modi Ki Guarantee”. If Congress leaders refuse to realize this, they can lose in forthcoming elections too, and the party’s base will dwindle further.
