मोदी ने कैसे कश्मीरियों का दिल जीता
कश्मीर की तस्वीर बदल रही है. संविधान की धारा 370 खत्म होने के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी गुरुवार को पहली बार श्रीनगर पहुंचे, कश्मीर के लोगों से मिले, उनकी बात सुनी, अपने दिल की बात कही और इस दौरान कश्मीरी अवाम में जो जज़्बा और जोश दिखा, वो वाकई हैरान करने वाला है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र को देखने-सुनने पहुंचे हजारों लोगों की भीड़ की तस्वीरें जब सामने आईं, तो लोगों को यकीन नहीं हुआ कि ये वही कश्मीर है, जहां पहले लोग घर से निकलने में डरते थे. लेकिन अब कश्मीर में खौफ का खात्मा हो चुका है. श्रीनगर के जिन इलाकों में पहले हथियारबंद सुरक्षाकर्मियों की फौज और बख्तरबंद गाड़ियों के काफिले दिखते थे, गुरुवार को उन्हीं सड़कों पर हजारों लोग बेखौफ होकर चलते हुए दिखाई दिए. पहले कश्मीर में होने वाले राजनीतिक जलसों पर भी डर का साया रहता था लेकिन गुरुवार को श्रीनगर का पूरा बख्शी स्टेडियम लोगों से भर गया. प्रोग्राम खत्म होने के बाद भी हजारों लोग स्टेडियम के बाहर खड़े दिखाई दिए. लंबी-लंबी लाइनें लगीं, श्रीनगर की सड़कों पर ढोल नगाड़े बजाते हुए लोग उसी तरह मोदी के कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे जैसे दिल्ली, मुंबई, कोलकाता या दूसरे शहरों में किसी राजनीतिक रैली में पहुंचते हैं. कहने का मतलब ये है कि कश्मीर की फिंज़ा बिल्कुल बदली हुई नज़र आई. बख्शी स्टेडियम में बारह बजे सभा शुरू होनी वाली थी, लेकिन लोगों के पहुंचने का सिलसिला सुबह सात बजे से शुरू हो गया, वो भी सुबह दो डिग्री की ठंड में. अनंतनाग, बारामूला, बडगाम, बांदीपोर, गांदरबल, कुपवाड़ा, कुलगाम, पुलवामा, शोपियां समेत हर इलाके से लोग श्रीनगर पहुंचे. सुबह दस बजे अच्छी धूप खिल गई, तापमान भी बढ़ गया और सियासी गर्मी भी. कुछ साल पहले तक कश्मीर की सड़कों पर आम लोग कम, सुरक्षाकर्मी ज्यादा दिखाई देते थे लेकिन गुरुवार को सुरक्षाकर्मी गिने-चुने थे और जनता हजारों में थी. कश्मीर के लोगों ने कई दशकों बाद किसी कार्यक्रम में ऐसी भीड़ देखी. नोट करने वाली बात ये है कि मोदी के प्रोग्राम में हर वर्ग के लोग पहुंचे, बड़ी संख्या में मुस्लिम पुरुष-महिलाएं थीं, कश्मीरी युवा भी थे. मोदी के पहुंचने से पहले बख्शी स्टेडियम में पहुंच चुके लोगों ने कहा कि कश्मीर बदल चुका है, अब कश्मीर के हर हिस्से में तरक्की पहुंच रही है, धारा 370 हटने के बाद अमन लौटा है, नौजवानों के हाथों में अब पत्थर नहीं हैं, अब कश्मीरी यूथ जिंदगी की नई राह पर निकल चुका है, अब सैलानी आ रहे हैं, डल झील की रौनक और वादियों की खूबसूरती लौट आई है. बख्शी स्टेडियम में मोदी का प्रोग्राम सरकारी था. 6400 करोड़ रुपये के 53 प्रोजेक्ट्स का लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास होना था. मोदी ने कश्मीरी कारीगरों से बात की, उनके प्रोडक्ट्स देखे, मंच पर पहुंच कर 1000 नौजवानों को नौकरी के नियुक्ति पत्र बांटे और शोपियां, जम्मू, कुपवाड़ा, श्रीनगर, गांदरबल, बांदीपुरा, कठुआ और किश्तवाड़ में स्टार्टअप्स शुरू करने वाले नौजवानों और महिलाओं से बात की. मोदी ने अपने भाषण में जम्मू-कश्मीर की तरक्की की बात की, और फिर विरोधियों पर निशाना साधा. मोदी ने कहा कि दशकों तक धारा 370 के नाम पर कुछ राजनीतिक परिवारों ने देश को गुमराह किया लेकिन अब वो वक्त चला गया है, अब कश्मीर में वो बदलाव साफ दिख रहा है, जिसका इंतज़ार बरसों से था. मोदी ने परिवारवादी पार्टियों पर सीधा निशाना साधा. कहा कि परिवारवादी पार्टियों ने जम्मू-कश्मीर का बहुत नुकसान किया है लेकिन अब उन लोगों को समझ में आ गया है कि कश्मीरी लोगों के दिल में मोदी है, और मोदी के दिल में कश्मीर है. कश्मीर में गुरुवार को जो भीड़ देखने को मिली, वहां के लोगों से मोदी के बारे में जो सुनने को मिला, ये वहां के लोगों के जज़्बात हैं. और ये जज़्बा पैदा करना आसान नहीं था. आर्टिकल 370 हटने के बाद कश्मीर में जिस तेजी से काम हुआ, ये उसका असर है. मैं आपको कुछ मोटी-मोटी बातें गिनवा सकता हूं. एक ज़माने में कश्मीर को फिल्मों की शूटिंग के लिए जाना जाता था. वहां मुंबई से लोग पहुंचते थे लेकिन धीरे-धीरे ये सिलसिला बंद हो गया. लेकिन पिछले कुछ सालों में 400 से ज्यादा फिल्मों की शूटिंग की इजाज़त दी गई है. कश्मीर में अब सिनेमा हॉल खुल गए हैं, लोग बेखौफ होकर फिल्में देखने जाते हैं. इस बदलाव को कौन पसंद नहीं करेगा? कश्मीर की सबसे बड़ी ताकत वहां की tourism रही है. अब एक बार फिर कश्मीर में टूरिस्ट की भीड़ दिखाई देती है. पिछले साल 1 करोड़ 84 लाख से ज्यादा टूरिस्ट आए जो कि एक रिकॉर्ड है. होटलों में जगह नहीं मिलती, फ्लाइट्स एडवांस में बुक करानी पड़ती है लेकिन टूरिस्ट के लिए लगातार सुविधाएं बढ़ी हैं. डल लेक में शिकारे फिर से चलने लगे हैं. 75 नए ट्रैकिंग रूट्स खोले गए हैं, जो नॉर्मल्सी का सबूत है. कश्मीर में शिक्षा हमेशा से एक बड़ी समस्या रही है. वहां के छात्रों को पढ़ने के लिए बाहर जाना पड़ता था. अब कश्मीर में 50 नए कॉलेज खोले गए हैं. जो colleges पहले थे उनमें 25 हजार सीटों का इजाफा किया गया है, जो पिछले 70 साल में नहीं हुआ. अब IIT, IIM और IIMC शुरु हो गई है. कश्मीर के लोगों को हमेशा इलाज के लिए परेशान होना पड़ता था, अच्छे अस्पताल नहीं थे. जो थे, वो कम पड़ते थे. अब दो नए AIIMS खोले गए हैं, 7 नए मेडिकल कॉलेज बने हैं, पांच नए नर्सिंग कॉलेज शुरु किए गए हैं. कश्मीर के लोगों को हमेशा शिकायत रहती थी सड़कों की. पिछले 3 साल में 16 हजार 807 किलोमीटर नई सड़कें बनाई गईं हैं. जम्मू से किश्तवाड़ जाना हो या श्रीनगर से जम्मू जाना हो या श्रीनगर से गुलमर्ग जाना हो, हर जगह ट्रैवल टाइम कम हुआ है. दिल्ली से कटरा अब पांच घंटे में पहुंचा जा सकता है. हर गांव के लिए सड़क बनाई जा रही है और पिछले तीन साल में 244 नए पुल बनाए गए हैं. उजाला स्कीम के तहत LED लाइट्स लगी हैं, साढ़े 3 लाख से ज्यादा घरों को बिजली पहुंची है. ऐसे कामों की फेहरिस्त बहुत लंबी है जिसका सीधा असर लोगों की रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी पर हुआ है. इनमें एक बड़ा काम बिजली का है. जाड़े के दिनों में बिजली की कमी से कश्मीर के लोग ठिठुरते थे लेकिन पिछले 70 साल में सिर्फ 3 हजार 500 मेगावॉट पावर का जेनेरेशन हुआ था. लेकिन तीन साल में पावर जेनेरेशन को डबल करने का प्लान है. ये सब वो काम है जो सीधे सीधे आम कश्मीरी की जिंदगी से ताल्लुक रखते हैं. इसीलिए लोगों के दिल में मोदी सरकार के प्रति सकारात्मक सोच का दौर शुरु हुआ है. लेकिन कश्मीर को पिछले 70 साल में जिस तरह की परिस्थितियों का सामना करना पड़ा, उसको देखते हुए ये बहुत कम है. शुरुआत अच्छी है लेकिन इसे अंजाम तक ले जाने के लिए कश्मीर को तरक्की और खुशहाली दिलाने के लिए अभी बहुत किया जाना बाकी है. अच्छी बात ये है कि हम सही दिशा में बढ़ रहे हैं और कश्मीर के लोगों के मन में भरोसा पैदा हो रहा है.
संदेशखाली और शाहजहां : ममता ने बड़ी गलतियां की
संदेशखाली में महिलाओं पर जुल्म करने वाले शेख शाहजहां को लेकर ममता बनर्जी को हर मोर्चे पर शर्मींदगी झेलनी पड़ी. शाहजहां को सीबीआई से बचाने की ममता की हर कोशिश नाकाम हो गई. Calcutta हाईकोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ ममता सरकार की अपील पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तत्काल सुनवाई करने से इंकार कर दिया. इसके बाद हाईकोर्ट ने बंगाल पुलिस को शाहजहां को शाम साढ़े चार बजे तक सीबीआई के हवाले करने का आदेश दिया, ममता की सरकार में मुख्य सचिव, पुलिस महानिदेशक और सीआईडी के अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक को अदालत की अवमानना का नोटिस थमा दिया लेकिन इसके बाद भी पुलिस ने सीबीआई की टीम को दो घंटे तक बैठाकर रखा. ममता सरकार द्वारा शाहजहाँ को बचाने की नाकाम कोशिश का एक और नतीजा ये हुआ कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पूरा मौका मिला. उन्होंने बंगाल जाकर कहा कि ममता को न मां की चिंता है, न माटी की, न मानुष की, उन्हें सिर्फ एक अपराधी की फिक्र है जिसने संदेशखाली की माताओं-बहनों के सम्मान को तार तार किया. मोदी ने संदेशखाली में शेख शाहजहां के जुल्मों की शिकार हुई महिलाओं से मुलाकात की, उनसे बात की, उनकी पीड़ा को सुना और न्याय का पूरा भरोसा दिलाया. बारासात की रैली में मोदी ने बंगाल के लोगों से कहा कि संदेशखाली में जो हुआ, उसके लिए बंगाल की महिलाएं ममता को जरूर सबक सिखाएंगी. संदेशखाली अब पश्चिम बंगाल के चुनावी माहौल का सबसे बड़ा मुद्दा बन गया है. असल में ममता की सरकार ने इसके लिए पूरी ताकत लगाई कि किसी भी सूरत में शाहजहां को सीबीआई के सुपुर्द न करना पड़े. कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट ने तो मंगलवार को ही बंगाल पुलिस को आदेश दिया था कि शहाजहां को सीबीआई के हवाले करे लेकिन ममता की सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील करने की बात कह कर शाहजहां को लेने पहुंची सीबीआई की टीम को वापस लौटा दिया. बुधवार को बंगाल सरकार की तरफ से अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से गुहार लगाई कि अपील पर जल्द सुनवाई हो, लेकिन कोर्ट ने ये कहकर इंकार कर दिया कि चीफ जस्टिस की बेंच ही तय करेगी कि अर्जी पर कब और कौन सी बेंच सुनवाई करेगी. इसी दौरान कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट में ED की तरफ से ममता बनर्जी की सरकार के खिलाफ अदालत की अवमानना की अर्जी दायर की गई. हाईकोर्ट को बताया गया कि अदालत के आदेश के बाद भी बंगाल पुलिस ने शेख शाहजहां को सीबीआई के हवाले नहीं किया. इस पर हाईकोर्ट ने सख्त नाराजगी जाहिर की और राज्य के शीर्ष अधिकारियों को अदालत की अवमानना का नोटिस जारी कर दिया. हार् कोर्ट ने बंगाल पुलिस को फिर से आदेश दिया कि वह आरोपी शाहजहां को शाम साढे़ चार बजे तक CBI के हवाले करे और इस मामले की सारी फाइलें CBI को सौंप दे लेकिन हैरानी की बात ये है कि शाम छह बजे तक बंगाल पुलिस ने शाहजहां को सीबीआई के हवाले नहीं किया. लगभग दो घंटे इंतज़ार कराने के बाद पहले बंगाल पुलिस शाहजहां को मेडिकल चेक-अप के लिए अस्पताल ले गई और क़रीब पौने सात बजे CBI के हवाले किया. एजेंसीज के रूख से, सरकार के तेवरों से, कैसे अपराधी का रवैया और उसके हावभाव बदलते हैं, ये भी बुधवार को साफ नजर आया. सीबीआई की टीम जब शेख शाहजहां को मेडिकल चैकअप के लिए ले जा रही थी, तो उसके चेहरे पर हवाइयां उड़ रही थी, चेहरा उतरा हुआ था. लेकिन ठीक एक हफ्ते पहले जब पश्चिम बंगाल की पुलिस ने शाहजहां को कोर्ट में पेश किया था तो पुलिस उसे एस्कॉट कर रही थी. शेख शाहजहां जेब में हाथ डालकर कोर्टरूम में घुसा. उसने कैमरे देखकर विक्ट्री साइन दिखाई . इसके बाद जब कोर्ट से बाहर निकला, उस वक्त गाड़ी में बैठने से पहले नेताओं की तरह उसने पब्लिक की तरफ हाथ हिलाकर वेव किया. लेकिन जब शाहजहां सीबीआई की गिरफ्त में आया तो उसकी सारी अकड़ खत्म हो चुकी थी. और जो रही सही है, वो अगले दो चार दिनों की खारितरदारी में खत्म हो जाएगी. शाहजहां अब CBI की कस्टडी में है. आज उसे याद आ रहा होगा कि वो अपनी पब्लिक मीटिंग्स में लोगों से कहता था कि CBI और ED उसका बाल भी बांका नहीं कर सकते. वो कहता था कि भगवान से प्रार्थना करो कि उसे गुस्सा ना आए, अगर उसे गुस्सा आया तो वो बीजेपी के वर्कर्स के दांत तोड़ देगा और बीजेपी के नेताओं की खाल खिंचवा देगा. कोई भी लीडर चाहे कितना भी ताकतवर क्यों न हो, बिना मुख्यमंत्री की शह के, बिना मुख्यमंत्री के संरक्षण के सरेआम इस तरह की बातें नहीं कह सकता. अब तो ममता बनर्जी को भी इस बात का एहसास हो गया होगा कि 56 दिन तक खामख्वाह शाहजहां जैसे अपराधी को बचाने की कोशिश की, उसे पनाह देने की कोशिश की, उसके जुल्मों पर पर्दा डालने की कोशिश की, एक तरफ कोर्ट को नाराज किया, दूसरी तरफ गलत राजनीतिक संदेश भेजा, इन सब का नतीजा ये हुआ कि बीजेपी को बैठे बिठाए ममता के खिलाफ एक बड़ा मुद्दा मिल गया. लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी इसे एक बड़ा मुद्दा बनाएगी. बंगाल की महिलाओं को बार बार याद दिलाएगी कि दीदी ने एक अपराधी को बचाया, महिलाओं पर जुल्म करने वालों का साथ दिया. बारासात में मोदी ने इसका पूरा इस्तेमाल किया. बारासात उत्तरी 24 परगना जिले का एक शहर है और संदेशखाली से 85 किलोमीटर दूर है. कोलकाता से बारासात के रास्ते में लोगों ने मोदी का फूलों से स्वागत किया. मोदी की रैली को नाम दिया गया था, नारी शक्ति वंदन, इसीलिए बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं इस रैली में शामिल हुईं. खास बात ये थी कि मोदी की रैली में मोदी को सुनने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में संदेशखाली की महिलाएं भी बारासात आई थीं. हालांकि जैसे ही प्रशासन को इस बात की खबर लगी तो संदेशखाली की महिलाओं को रास्ते में रोका गया, उनसे पूछताछ की गई और कुछ ही महिलाओं को मोदी की रैली तक जाने दिया गया. लेकिन ये सारी महिलाएं रैली में उस वक्त पहुंची जब मोदी का भाषण खत्म हो चुका था. रैली खत्म होने के बाद मोदी ने मंच से उतर कर शाहजहां के जुल्मों की शिकार इन महिलाओं से मुलाकात की, उनसे काफी देर बात की, उनकी आपबीती सुनी. मोदी से इन महिलाओं ने कहा कि उन्हें अभी भी धमकियां मिल रही हैं, बंगाल की सरकार और बंगाल की पुलिस पर उन्हें यकीन नहीं हैं, वे अभी भी खौफ के साये में जी रहे हैं. मोदी ने इन महिलाओं को यकीन दिलाया कि केन्द्र सरकार उनके साथ खड़ी हैं, उन्हें न्याय दिलाने के लिए हर संभव कोशिश की जाएगी, इसलिए अब उन्हें किसी से डरने की जरूरत नहीं हैं. इस बीच ममता बनर्जी ने महिलाओं को लुभाने के लिए बुधवार को ऐलान किया कि ASHA वर्कर्स, ICDS हेल्पर और आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं की सैलरी बढ़ाई जाएगी. ममता बनर्जी ने अपना एक रिकॉर्डेड बयान जारी किया जिसमें उन्होने कहा कि बीजेपी बंगाल की शान्ति को भंग करने की कोशिश कर रही है, चुनाव के मौके पर बंगाल को बदनाम करने की साजिश कर रही हैं और तृणमूल कांग्रेस इस कोशिश को कभी कामयाब नहीं होने देगी. ममता 10 मार्च को कोलकाता में जनगर्जना रैली करेंगी. ममता बनर्जी भले ही बीजेपी पर माहौल को खराब करने का इल्जाम लगाएं, संदेशखाली को बीजेपी की साजिश बताएं, लेकिन ये तो पूरे देश ने देखा है कि अगर शाहजहां और उसके गुंडे ED की टीम पर हमला न करते, और अगर ममता बनर्जी उसी दिन शेख शाहजहां को गिरफ्तार करवा देती, तो हो सकता है कि संदेशखाली की महिलाओं के साथ हुए जुल्म और जमीनों पर कब्जे के मामले कभी सामने ही न आते. इसलिए पहली गलती तो ममता ने शाहजहां को गिरफ्तार करने के बजाय, उसे छुपा कर की. इसके बाद जब संदेशखाली में केंद्रीय सुरक्षा बलों की तैनाती हुई, बीजेपी के नेताओं के दौरे शुरू हुए तो वहां के लोगों को हिम्मत मिली, संदेशखाली की महिलाओं ने खुद कैमरे के सामने के सामने आकर रो-रोकर अपनी दास्तां कही लेकिन ममता ने विधानसभा में खड़े होकर महिलाओं के आंसूओं को एक्टिंग बता दिया, आरोपों को झूठा करार दिया, महिलाओं के बयानों को बीजेपी की स्क्रिप्ट बता दिया. ये ममता की दूसरी गलती थी. इसके बाद संदेशखाली की महिलाओं के एफीडेविट कोर्ट में जमा हुए. कोर्ट के दबाव में पुलिस को FIR दर्ज करनी पड़ी. फिर हाईकोर्ट के आदेश के बाद बंगाल की पुलिस ने शाहजहां को गिरफ्तार किया और उसे सीबीआई से बचाने के लिए ममता बनर्जी ने ED पर हमले के केस की जांच CID को सौंप दी और शाहजहां को CID की कस्टडी में भेज दिया. ये ममता की तीसरी गलती थी. इसके बाद जब हाईकोर्ट ने ED पर हमले का केस सीबीआई को ट्रांसफर करने और शेख शाहजहां को सीबीआई के हवाले करने का आदेश दिया, तो पुलिस ने कोर्ट का आदेश नहीं माना. ये ममता सरकार की चौथी गलती थी और इसके बाद ममता ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ अपील की. ये ममता की पांचवी गलती थी. चूंकि ममता लगातार शेख शाहजहां को बचाने की कोशिश कर रही हैं, इसलिए उनके खिलाफ महिलाओं में गुस्सा पनप रहा है. अगर ममता ने पहले ही दिन शाहजहां को गिरफ्तार कर लिया होता, उसे जेल भेजा होता, तो शायद ये मामला इतना न बढ़ता लेकिन ममता ने लगातार गलतियां की, उससे उनके खिलाफ जो माहौल बना, उसका फायदा अगर बीजेपी उठा रही हैं, तो इसमें गलत क्या है? .चुनाव सामने है – मौका भी है और दस्तूर भी.
SANDESHKHALI AND SHAHJAHAN : HOW MAMATA COMMITTED BLUNDERS
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee had to face embarrassment on all fronts over the issue of atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali. Mamata Banerjee tried her best to avoid handing over Sandeshkhali strongman Shahjahan Sheikh to CBI, despite Calcutta High Court order. The Supreme Court refused an urgent hearing on her government’s appeal against HC order. The High Court issued a contempt of court notice to the state chief secretary, police director-general and additional director-general of state CID for defying the court orer. In spite of all these, West Bengal Police handed over Shahajahan to CBI only when two hours elapsed after the High Court deadline of 4.30 pm on Wednesday. In Barasat, 85 km away from Sandeshkhali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at Mamata Banerjee and asked the people of Bengal to teach her party a lesson for committing “sins” against women. In a hard-hitting speech at Barasat rally, Modi said, Mamata does not care ‘Ma (mother), Maati (soil), Maanush (human beings)’, and was trying to shield a criminal, who dishonoured the mothers and sisters of Sandeshkhali. Modi also met five women victims from Sandeshkhali after the rally and listened to their woes. Sandeshkhali has now become a major issue in the Lok Sabha elections in Bengal. In sharp contrast to the ‘V’ sign shown by Shahjahan Sheikh outside Barasat court, he was looking crestfallen on Wednesday when the CBI team took him away from the state police headquarters. Shahjahan Sheikh used to say in his public meetings that CBI and ED will not be able to harm him. He had also threatened to “skin” BJP workers alive and break their teeth. Any leader on a local level can never issue such threats unless he gets protection from the chief minister. Mamata Banerjee may be realizing now why her government tried to protect a criminal for 56 days and tried to hide his crimes. On one hand, Mamata faced the displeasure of courts, and on the other hand, she sent a wrong political message. The result was: BJP got a handle to beat Mamata’s party easily. BJP is going to make Sandeshkhali a big issue in the forthcoming elections and will tell the voters how Didi gave protection to a criminal who committed sexual abuses against women. Modi named his Barasat rally as ‘Naari Shakti Vandan’. At the rally, Modi spoke for seven minutes on Sandeshkhali and said, these atrocities has brought shame to the nation. He said, “the women of Bengal will never tolerate Mamata government which tried to protect the criminal who committed excesses on the women of Sandeshkhali”. After the rally, Modi consoled the women victims and said that the Centre would try its best to secure justice for them and they need not fear anymore. On Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee tried to counter Modi’s attack, by raising the salaries of ASHA workers, Anganwadi nurses and ICDS helpers. In a recorded video statement, Mamata alleged that BJP leaders are trying to disturb peace in Bengal and defame the state. Mamata will hold a Jana-Garjana Rally in Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on March 10. Mamata may blame BJP for “conspiring” to raise the Sandeshkhali issue, but the entire nation has seen how Shahjahan’s goons in Sandeshkhali attacked the ED team which it came to conduct searches. Had Mamata got Shahjahan arrested, the issue of atrocities against women and land grab would not have come to the fore. The first mistake that Mamata committed was to hide Shahjahan from arrest. When central forces were deployed and BJP leaders started visiting Sandeshkhali, the local women and villagers gained courage and raised their voices. The women victims narrated their woes in front of cameras, but Mamata mocked their allegations and said in the assembly that all these tears were mere acting and the allegations were baseless. She described the allegations of women victims as “scripted by BJP”. This was Mamata’s second big mistake. The women of Sandeshkhali filed their affidavits before the court, and under judicial order, police had to file FIR. It was only after the Hight Court order, that West Bengal police was forced to arrest Shahjahan Sheikh. To shield the criminal from CBI, Mamata handed over the probe to her state CID. Shahjahan was sent to CID custody. That was Mamata’s third big mistake. When the High Court took a stern stand and ordered that the case relating to attack on ED be transferred to CBI and that Shahjahan be handed over to CBI, her government tried to defy the order. This was Mamata’s fourth big mistake. When her government approached the Supreme Court to appeal against the High Court order, it was her fifth mistake. Since Mamata Banerjee tried hard to shield Shahjahan, anger is already growing among women in Bengal. Had Mamata arrested Shahjahan on the first day itself and sent him to jail, the issue would not have blown to such a big proportion. Mamata committed several blunders continuously. Now that an atmosphere against her party is building up, BJP is trying to take advantage. There is nothing wrong in it. Since the elections are not far away, it is a big opportunity and a norm for any political rival.
एक सोची-समझी रणनीति : ए. राजा ने किया भारत माता का अपमान
जैसे जैसे चुनाव नजदीक आ रहा है, विरोधी दलों के नेताओं की बौखलाहट बढ़ रही है और इस चक्कर में रोज सेल्फ-गोल कर रहे हैं. मंगलवार को मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चे के सहयोगी DMK के नेता ए. राजा ने फिर प्रभु राम के बारे में ज़हर उगला. यहां तक कह दिया कि बीजेपी के जय श्रीराम पर वो थूकते हैं. ए. राजा ने भारत को राष्ट्र मानने से इंकार कर दिया. कहा, कि अगर बीजेपी भारत माता की जय का नारा लगाने को कहती है तो बिल्कुल नहीं लगाएंगे क्योंकि भारत कोई देश नहीं हैं, कोई राष्ट्र नहीं है, भारत तो राज्यों का समूह है और हर राज्य अपने आप में एक राष्ट्र है. ए. राजा ने कहा कि वो रामायण को नहीं मानते, रामचरित मानस को नहीं मानते, वो कंबन की रामायण को मानते हैं जिसमें राम ने एक दलित को भाई बनाया, एक बंदर को अपना भाई बनाया. ए. राजा ने रविवार 3 मार्त को कोयम्बटूर में मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन के जन्मदिन पर आयोजित एक जनसभा में कही. भरी सभा में हजारों कार्यकर्ताओं के सामने माइक पर चिल्ला-चिल्ला कर ए. राजा ने कहा कि अगर बीजेपी एक ईश्वर का नाम लेकर उनकी पूजा करने की बात थोपेगी तो तमिलनाडु की जनता इसे बिलकुल स्वीकार नहीं करेगी. ए. राजा ने राष्ट्र की अपनी परिभाषा भी दी. कहा कि राष्ट्र वह होता है, जहां एक जैसी संस्कृति हो, एक जैसी परंपराएं हों, एक भाषा हो. इस लिहाज से भारत कोई राष्ट्र नहीं है, भारत कई राष्ट्रों को मिलकर उपमहाद्वीप है. इसलिए अगर कोई ज़बरदस्ती भारत माता की जय का नारा लगाने का दवाब डालतचा है, तो तमिलनाडू की जनता इसे कभी स्वीकार नहीं करेगी. ए. राजा जैसे नेता गज़ब का दोहरा चरित्र रखते हैं. अगर वह भारत को देश नहीं मानते, तो संसद का चुनाव लड़कर संसद में क्यों बैठते हैं ? संविधान की शपथ क्यों लेते हैं ? केन्द्र सरकार में मंत्री क्यों बनते थे ? ये वही ए. राजा हैं जो डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह की सरकार में संचार मंत्री थे, जिनका नाम 2-जी घोटाले में आया, फिर उन्हें मंत्रिमंडल से हटाया गया, वह जेल में रहे, पांच बार सासंद रह चुके हैं, केन्द्र सरकार में चार बार मंत्री रह चुके हैं और कह रहे हैं कि भारत को राष्ट्र नहीं मानते. यानि जब मंत्री हों, सत्ता में हों, तो शासन करने के लिए भारत राष्ट्र है और जब विपक्ष में हों, सत्ता से बाहर हों, तो भारत को राष्ट्र नहीं मानेंगे. ये रवैया हैरान करने वाला हैं. बीजेपी नेता रविशंकर प्रसाद ने पूछा कि क्या DMK ने संविधान नहीं पढ़ा? क्या ए. राजा ने संविधान की झूठी शपथ ली थी और अब वह देश की एकता को खंड-खंड करने की बातें कर रहे हैं? कांग्रेस ने ए. राजा का बयान ख़ारिज करने में देर नहीं की. कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने कहा कि कांग्रेस भगवान राम को आदर्श मानती है, भगवान राम के प्रति आस्था रखती है, इसलिए कांग्रेस राजा के बयान की निंदा करती है. सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के सहयोगी दलों के नेताओं को सोच-समझकर बोलना चाहिए. वहीं आरजेडी नेता तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा कि ए. राजा ने जो कुछ कहा वो उनकी निजी राय है, RJD उससे सहमत नहीं. DMK के प्रवक्ता टी.के.एस. एलंगोवन ने कहा कि अपने बयान पर ए. राजा ही सफ़ाई दे सकते हैं, पार्टी को कुछ नहीं कहना है. यहां याद दिला दूं कि 3 जुलाई 2022 को ए. राजा ने मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन की मौजूदगी में अलग देश की मांग उठाई थी. उस वक्त भी स्टालिन ने उन्हें टोका नहीं, रोका नहीं और बाद में DMK ने राजा के बयान को उनका निजी बयान बता दिया. लेकिन चूंकि चुनाव का वक्त है, इसलिए अब राजा के बयान से सिर्फ स्टालिन को नहीं, उनके सहयोगी दलों को भी जवाब देना पड़ेगा. जहां तक ए. राजा का बयान है तो इसमें मैं दो बातें कहना चाहता हूं. पहला ये कि अब ये तर्क नहीं चलेगा कि अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी है, कोई कुछ भी बोल सकता है. सोमवार को ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हिन्दुत्व की तुलना मलेरिया और डेंगू से करने वाले DMK नेता उदयनिधि स्टालिन को फटकार लगाई थी. उदयनिधि एम. के. स्टालिन के बेटे हैं और अपने पिता के मंत्रिमंडल में मंत्री हैं. उदयनिधइ ने हिन्दुत्व को जड़ से खत्म करने की बात कही थी. जब कई सारे मुकदमे दर्ज हुए तो राहत पाने के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट गए थे लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने साफ कह दिया कि अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी का मतलब माहौल को खराब करने की आजादी नहीं हैं और नेताओं को, मंत्रियों को इसका खास ध्यान रखना चाहिए. इसके बाद भी फिर DMK के नेता ने इस तरह के बेतुके बयान दिए. दूसरी बात, चाहे ए, राजा हों, या उदयनिधि, ये बिना सोचे समझे नहीं बोलते. ये बयान उनकी राजनीतिक रणनीति का हिस्सा है. हकीकत ये है कि राममंदिर निर्माण के बाद जिस तरह प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी तमिलनाडु के मंदिरों में गए, अयोध्या में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा से पहले रामेश्वरम गए, रंगनाथस्वामी मंदिर में बैठकर कंबन रामायण का पाठ सुना था, इसलिए अब DMK को लग रहा है कि बीजेपी तमिलनाडू में अपनी जमीन तैयार कर सकती है. इसीलिए अब DMK के नेताओं ने हिन्दू, हिन्दुत्व और भगवान राम के खिलाफ अपमानजनक बयान देने शुरू किए हैं.
METHOD IN MADNESS : WHY A. RAJA ABUSED BHARAT MATA
Senior DMK leader A. Raja was embroiled in a big controversy when he spewed venom at Lord Ram, saying, “I spit on BJP leaders who say Jai Shri Ram”. He said this on March 3 while addressing a meeting to celebrate the 71st birthday of chief minister M. K. Stalin in Coimbatore. Raja said, ‘if this is your Jai Shri Ram, if this is your Bharat Mata Ki Jai, we will never accept Jai Shri Ram and Bharat Mata. Tamil Nadu will not accept. You go and tell, we are enemies of Ram.” The DMK leader went on to say, “I don’t have faith in Ramayana and Lord Ram. If you say that Ramayana means human harmony, where four brother are born as siblings, one Kuravar as brother, one Hunter as brother, another money as another brother, another money as the sixth brother, then I don’t accept Jai Shri Ram.” Raja’s tirade was not confined to Ram and Sanatan Dharma alone. He also questioned India’s sovereignty. Raja said, “Understand this well. India is not a nation. One nation means one language, one tradition and one culture. Then only we can say it is one nation. India is not a nation, it is a subcontinent. Tamil is one language, one nation, Malayalam is one language, one nation. Oriya is a language, another nation. All these nations make to become India. There are so many traditions and cultures. ..If you force people to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, the people of Tamil Nadu will never accept this.” One is astonished to find a former Union Minister saying all this. A. Raja has a peculiar double character. If he does not consider India a nation, why is he sitting in Indian Parliament after contesting elections? Why did he take oath as per the Indian Constitution? Why did he become a Union Minister at the Centre? A. Raja was the Telecom Minister in Dr Manmohan Singh’s government. His name figured in 2G scam, he was removed from cabinet, he remained in jail, he was elected to Parliament five times, he became a minister at the Centre four times, and yet, this same person is saying, India is a nation. So long as he was the minister at the Centre, India was fine as a nation, and when he is sitting in the opposition benches, he refuses to accept India as a nation. Such an attitude is surprising. On Tuesday, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad asked whether DMK has read the Constitution or not. DMK’s alliance partner Congress was careful in reacting to this. Congress did not hesitate in rejecting A. Raja’s remarks. Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said, Congress worshipped Lord Ram as its ideal, it has faith in Ram, and it condemns A. Raja’s remark. She also said, alliance partners should be careful while speaking on such subjects. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav described A. Raja’s comments as his personal opinion, but added that RJD does not agree with his opinion. Later in the day, DMK spokesperson T K S Elangovan distanced his party from Raja’s remarks saying it was only Raja who can explain why he made such comments. Let us recollect: it was A. Raja, who, in the presence of CM M K Stalin, on July 3, 2022, raised the demand for a separate country. As the Chief Minister, Stalin did not stop his leader from making such a comment. Later, DMK said, it was Raja’s personal opinion. But now that the Lok Sabha elections are near, not only Stalin, but his alliance partners will also have to explain to the people. On Raja’s remarks, I want to make two points: One, we cannot allow people to say whatever they want in the name of freedom of speech and expression. A day before, on Monday, the Supreme Court bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta told the lawyer of Udhayanaidhi Stalin, son of M K Stalin and a minister in DMK government, that the minister is not a layman and he should know the consequences of his remarks on Sanatan Dharma. Udhayanidhi Stalin had compared Hindutva with diseases like malaria and dengue and had said that his party would uproot Hindutva. When cases were filed against him, he went to the Supreme Court seeking relief in the name of freedom of speech. The SC bench told his lawyer,”You abuse your rights under freedom of speech and right to freedom of religion, and then come to the Supreme Court for protection under Article 32? Do you not know the consequences of what you said?” The Supreme Court clearly said that freedom of expression does not mean that anybody has the right to vitiate the atmosphere. Secondly, DMK leaders like A. Raja and Udhayanidhi Stalin, do not make such comments carelessly. This is part of their political strategy. The reality is DMK has started realizing that the BJP is trying to prepare its base in Tamil Nadu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rameswaram, he sat in Ranganathaswamy temple and heard the recital of Kamban Ramayana, before performing the consecration of Ram Lala idol in Ayodhya on January 22. This is the reason why DMK leaders have started spewing venom against Hindus, Hindutva and Lord Ram.
पूरा भारत मोदी का परिवार है
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने लोकसभा चुनाव का नया स्लोगन सैट कर दिया- “ मैं भी मोदी का परिवार”. जैसे 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के वक्त नारा था “मैं भी चौकीदार”, वैसे ही इस बार के चुनाव में बीजेपी का नारा होगा “मैं भी मोदी का परिवार”. ये नारा देने का मौका विरोधी दलों ने ही दिया है. रविवार को लालू यादव ने मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चे की रैली में नरेन्द्र मोदी के परिवार पर सवाल उठाए थे, कहा था कि मोदी परिवारवाद का मुद्दा उठाते हैं, क्योंकि मोदी का अपना खुद का तो परिवार ही नहीं हैं. लालू के बयान पर रैली में खूब तालिया बजीं लेकिन मोदी ने अगले ही दिन ऐसा जवाब दिया कि अब विरोधी दलों के नेताओं को जवाब देना मुश्किल हो गया. मोदी ने तेलंगाना और तमिलनाडु की रैली में कहा कि पूरा देश उनका परिवार है, उन्होंने बचपन में घर छोड़ा था, ये सोचकर कि अब पूरा देश ही उनका घर होगा, देश के लोगों के सपने पूरा करना ही उनक लक्ष्य होगा, वह इसी काम में लगे हुए हैं. इसके बाद जे पी नड्ढा, नितिन गड़करी, अमित शाह, राजनाथ सिंह, योगी आदित्यनाथ, पीयूष गोयल से लेकर स्मृति ईरानी तक बीजेपी के तमाम नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपने ट्विटर हैंडल पर अपने नाम के आगे जोड़ दिया (मोदी का परिवार). इसके बाद तो बीजेपी की कैंपेन की थीम बदल गई. अब मोदी का परिवार नई कैंपेन की थीम होगी. सवाल ये है कि अब विरोधी दलों के नेता क्या करेंगे? क्या जवाब देंगे? परिवारवाद के खिलाफ मोदी की लड़ाई को कैसे फेस करेंगे? ये देखने में तो छोटा मुद्दा है, लेकिन बिहार, बंगाल,झारखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु से लेकर जम्मू कश्मीर और आन्ध्र प्रदेश तक हर राज्य में विरोधी दलों के नेताओं को परिवारवाद के सवालों का सामना करना पड़ेगा. ये सही है कि नरेन्द्र मोदी अपने भाषणों में विरोधियों पर तीखा प्रहार करते हैं, विपक्ष के नेताओं के घपलों, घोटालों का जिक्र करते हैं, परिवारवाद का इल्जाम लगाते हैं, परिवारवाद को लोकतन्त्र के लिए सबसे बड़ा खतरा बताते हैं, लेकिन कभी किसी नेता पर व्यक्तिगत हमले नहीं करते. लालू ने जो बात कही, वह नरेन्द्र मोदी पर व्यक्तिगत हमला था, राजनीतिक मर्यादा और शालीनता के खिलाफ था. इसलिए मोदी ने बिना देर किए पूरे देश को, 140 करोड़ लोगों को अपना परिवारजन बता दिया. लालू यादव के खिलाफ पटना के गांधी मैदान थाने में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई गई. बीजेपी के नेताओं ने देशभर में लालू यादव के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन भी किया. लालू यादव ने फुलटॉस गेंद फेंकी और मोदी ने सिक्सर मार दिया. मुझे आश्चर्य होता है विरोधी दलों के बड़े बड़े नेता अभी तक मोदी को समझ ही नहीं पाए हैं. पिछले साल पन्द्रह अगस्त को लाल किले से राष्ट्र के नाम संबोधन में और उसके बाद हर मौके पर, हर रैली में, मोदी ने देश के लोगों को “मेरे परिवारजनों” कह कर पुकारना शुरू किया. लेकिन लगता है विरोधी दलों के नेता मोदी की लाइन पकड़ ही नहीं पाए और लालू ने मोदी के परिवार पर सवाल उठा कर वही गलती कर दी, जो राहुल गांधी ने पिछले चुनाव में चौकीदार पर सवाल उठा कर की थी. ऐसे मामलों में कोई मोदी को मात नहीं दे सकता. मोदी फुल टाइम प्रधानमंत्री की तरह काम करते है, अपने परिवार पर, भाइयों पर, भतीजे भतीजियों पर उनका ध्यान कभी नहीं जाता. लेकिन रविवार को पटना में मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चे की रैली में मंच पर जो नेता बैठे थे वो सब पार्ट टाइम पॉलिटिशियन हैं. बयान देने वाले लालू तेजस्वी को सीएम बनाना चाहते हैं, सोनिया गांधी राहुल को पीएम बनाना चाहती है, एम.के. स्टालिन अपने बेटे उदयनिधि को मुख्यमंत्री बनाने चाहते है, शरद पवार की चिंता सुप्रिया सुले के भविष्य को लेकर है, उद्धव की चिंता हमेशा ये रहती है कि आदित्य का क्या होगा? अखिलेश यादव को तो मुलायम सिंह यादव पूरे परिवार की चिंता सौंप कर गए हैं, अखिलेश ने पत्नी, चाचा, भाई, भतीजा, सबको मैदान में उतारा है.. ये लोग परिवारवाद के सवाल पर मोदी से कैसे मुकाबला कर सकते हैं? मैं आपको मोदी के biological परिवार के बारे में बताता हूं. मोदी कुल पांच भाई और एक बहन हैं. नरेन्द्र मोदी तीसरे नंबर पर हैं. सोमभाई मोदी सबसे बड़े हैं. वो गुजरात के स्वास्थ्य विभाग में काम करते थे. करीब बीस साल पहले रिटायर हो चुके हैं. दूसरे नंबर पर अमृत मोदी है. ये प्राइवेट फैब्रिकेशन प्लांट में काम करते थे. वो भी रियटार हो चुके हैं. नरेन्द्र मोदी के दो छोटे भाई हैं. एक प्रह्लाद मोदी सरकारी राशन की दुकान चलाते हैं. सबसे छोटे भाई हैं पंकज मोदी, जो गुजरात सरकार के सूचना विभाग में थे. वो भी नौ साल पहले रिटायर हो चुके हैं. मोदी की एक बहन हैं, वासंती बेन. विसनगर में अपने परिवार के साथ रहती हैं. इन सारे भाई बहनों में से कोई राजनीति में नहीं है. मोदी के भाई बहनों को तो छोड़िए. उनके भतीजे और भतीजियों का भी राजनीति से दूर दूर तक कोई लेना देना नहीं हैं. यहां तक परिवार वालों को सार्वजनिक तौर पर नरेन्द्र मोदी के नाम के इस्तेमाल की भी मनाही है. मोदी के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद प्रह्लाद मोदी की बेटी का दिल्ली में पर्स चोरी हो गया था लेकिन उसने पुलिस को ये नहीं बताया कि वो प्रधानमंत्री की भतीजी है. इसीलिए अब जब पूरे देश में नारा चलेगा – “पूरा देश मोदी का परिवार” – तो लोग विरोधी दलों के नेताओं से उनके परिवारों का हिसाब मांगेंगे, और ये हिसाब देना मंहगा पड़ेगा.
WHY INDIA IS MODI’S FAMILY?
At his rally in Adilabad, Telangana, on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi coined a new slogan “Main Hoon Modi Ka Parivar” (I am part of Modi’s family). This slogan is similar to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, when Modi had coined a slogan “Main Bhi Chowkidar” (I am also a Chowkidar). It was the opposition which gave Modi a handle to coin both these slogans. In 2019, Rahul Gandhi had alleged “Chowkidar Chor Hai”, and Modi replied with the slogan “Main Bhi Chowkidar”. This time, on Sunday, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, while addressing a big rally at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, lashed out at Modi for raising dynastic politics issue. Lalu said, “Modi has no family of his own”. The crowd erupted in joy when Lalu made this remark. On Monday, Modi hit out with “Modi Parivar” slogan, and the opposition leaders are now searching for a riposte. At his rallies in Telangana and Tamil Nadu, Modi said, “I left my home when I was young… I wanted to make the entire nation my family..My aim was to fulfil the dreams of my countrymen..For me, all of you are members of my family.” Soon afterwards BJP president J P Nadda, central ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and almost all top BJP leaders and workers added “Modi Ka Parivar” to their name on social media handles. The issue of dynastic politics may seem to be a minor one, but opposition leaders in Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand, UP, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh will have to face questions about their families. Normally, Prime Minister Modi never attacks any political rival personally, but the RJD supremo had launched a personal attack on Modi and his family, which was against the norms of political decency. Modi did not lose time in declaring that 140 crore Indians were his family members. In Patna, a complaint was filed at Gandhi Maidan station against Lalu Yadav for making this remark against Modi. There were protests by BJP workers in several states. In cricket parlance, we can say that Modi hit a ‘sixer’ to a full-toss ball from Lalu Yadav. I am surprised why top opposition leaders have so far failed to understand Modi till now. Let me remind them that since last year’s August 15 speech from Red Fort, Modi had been addressing people as “Mere Parivarjan” (my family members) in all his speeches. It seems opposition leaders have failed to understand the line that Modi is taking. By raising the issue of Modi’s family, Lalu Yadav made the same mistake which Rahul Gandhi did five years ago by saying “Chowkidar Chor Hai”. Nobody can beat Modi on such issues. Modi works like a full-time Prime Minister, and never gives any preference to his brothers, nephews and nieces. All the leaders sitting on the dais at the anti-Modi rally in Patna on Sunday are part-time politicians. Lalu Yadav wants to crown his son Tejashwi as chief minister. Sonia Gandhi wants to see her son Rahul has Prime Minister. M.K. Stalin wants to anoint his son Udhay Nidhi as chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Sharad Pawar is worried about his daughter Supriya Sule’s future. Uddhav Thackeray’s perennial worry is about his son Aditya. Late Mulayam Singh Yadav handed over all his worries to his son Akhilesh. Akhilesh Yadav fielded his wife, uncle, brother and nephews in politics. How can these leaders counter Modi on the issue of dynastic politics? Let me tell you about Modi’s biological family. Modi has five brothers and a sister. He is third in the line of siblings. His eldest brother Somabhai Modi used to work in Gujarat’s health department. He retired 20 years ago. The second brother is Amrit Modi, who used to work at a private fabrication plant. He, too, has retired. Narendra Modi has two younger brothers – Prahlad Modi, who runs a PDS ration shop. The youngest brother is Pankaj Modi, who worked in Gujarat government’s information department. He retired nine years ago. Modi has a sister, Basantiben, who lives in Visnagar with her family. All these brothers and sister have nothing to do with politics. Forget Modi’s brothers and sister. Even his nephews and nieces have nothing to do with politics. All these family members have been expressly told not to disclose their relationship to Narendra Modi in public. After Modi became PM, Prahlad Modi’s daughter once lost her purse in Delhi. She lodged a complaint with Delhi Police, but did not tell them that she was the niece of the Prime Minister. So, the slogan that will be heard for the next two months across India will be “Poora Desh, Modi Ka Parivar”. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस वक्त बिहार, झारखंड और बंगाल के तूफानी चुनावी दौरे पर हैं. बंगाल में मोदी ने संदेशखाली की महिलाओं पर अत्याचार और भ्रष्टाचार को मुख्य मुद्दा बनाया है. शुक्रवार को बंगाल के आरामबाग में रैली को संबोधित करते हुए मोदी ने कहा कि ” संदेशखाली की माओं-बहनों के साथ जो कुछ हुआ, उससे पूरा देश शर्मसार है.” शनिवार को बंगाल के कृष्णनगर की रैली में मोदी ने कहा कि तृणमूल के नेताओं ने “स्कीम को स्कैम” का रूप देने में महारत हासिल कर ली है. मोदी को एक बात के लिए दाद देनी होगी. गुरुवार की रात को बीजेपी के मुख्यालय में साढे 3 बजे तक उम्मीदवारों की सूची को अंति रूप देने के बाद मोदी घर लौटे, और अगले दिन सुबह झारखंड और फिर बंगाल पहुंच गए. शुक्रवार को मोदी ने कोलकाता के राज भवन में रात बितायी और अगले दिन कृष्णनगर के बाद बिहार में औरंगाबाद, पटना और बेगूसराय की तरफ रवाना हो गए. आरामबाग की रैली में मोदी ने ममता बनर्जी पर तीखे हमले किए. सबसे पहले संदेशखाली का मुद्दा उठाया और सवाल किया कि आखिर 56 दिन एक अपराधी बगैर राजनीतिक संरक्षण के कैसे पुलिस के शिकंजे से दूर रह सकता है. मोदी ने कहा कि संदेशखाली की महिलाओं ने अपने ऊपर हुए जुल्म की दास्तां रो-रोकर सुनाई लेकिन ममता बनर्जी का दिल नहीं पसीजा. वो जुल्म करने वाले गुंडे को, गरीबों की जमीनों पर कब्जा करने वाले अपने नेता को बचाती रहीं.मोदी ने संदेशखाली के मामले में इंडी अलायंस के सहयोगी दलों की चुप्पी पर सवाल उठाया. मोदी ने कहा कि संदेशखाली की महिलाओं की बातें सबने सुनी लेकिन इंडी अलायंस के नेताओं ने अपनी आंख, कान और मुंह बंद कर लिया, इंडी अलायंस में शामिल पार्टियों के नेताओं ने ममता बनर्जी से सवाल पूछना तो दूर, संदेशखाली की महिलाओं की तरफ नज़र घुमाकर भी नहीं देखा. बंगाल में ममता पर मुस्लिम तुष्टीकरण का आरोप कई साल से लगता है. इल्जाम यही लगाया जा रहा है कि शेख शाहजहां मुस्लिम था. ममता को मुस्लिम वोट बैंक की फिक्र थी, इसीलिए शेख शाहजहां इतने दिनों तक बचा रहा. मोदी ने इसी बात को मुद्दा बनाया और कहा कि महिलाओं का सम्मान सर्वोपरि है, सम्मान के मामले में इस बात से फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि महिला हिन्दू है या मुसलमान. मोदी ने कहा कि महिलाओं के सम्मान से खिलवाड़ तो मुस्लिम बेटियां भी बर्दाश्त नहीं करेंगी,वो ममता बनर्जी की सरकार को उखाड़ फेंकेंगी. मोदी ने आरामबाग की रैली में ममता बनर्जी के शासन में हो रहे भ्रष्टाचार, घोटाले और परिवारवाद का भी मुद्दा उठाया. मोदी ने कहा कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने पश्चिम बंगाल में भ्रष्टाचार का एक नया मॉडल पैदा किया है. मोदी ने कहा कि बंगाल में जिन लोगों ने जनता को लूटा है, उन्हें लूट का माल सूद के साथ लौटाना पड़ेगा. मोदी ने कहा कि कोई कितनी भी गाली दे, वो डरने वाले नहीं हैं, लूटने वालों को जेल भेजकर ही रहेंगे.मोदी के आरामबाग दौरे से तृणमूल कांग्रेस में खलबली है क्योंकि अपनी पहली रैली के लिए मोदी ने ये सीट बहुत सोच समझकर चुनी है. 2019 के चुनाव में इस रिजर्व सीट पर बीजेपी के तापस रॉय तृणमूल कांग्रेस की अपरूपा पोद्दार से सिर्फ 1146 वोट से हारे थे. 2014 में आरामबाग सीट तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने ही जीती थी लेकिन लैफ्ट फ्रंट का उम्मीदवार दूसरे नंबर पर था. बीजेपी बड़े अंतर से तीसरे नंबर पर आई थी लेकिन इस बार बीजेपी को लगता है कि ये सीट आसानी से निकाली जा सकती है. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद अपरूपा पोद्दार ने मुस्लिम से शादी कर ली है और अब उनका नाम आफरीन अली हो गया है. इसलिए अब वो दलित कोटे की सीट पर चुनाव लड़ पाएंगी या नहीं, इस पर भी संशय है. दूसरा, अगर लड़ती हैं तो भले ही उन्हें मुस्लिम वोट थोड़ा ज्यादा मिल जाए लेकिन हिन्दू वोट कटने का खतरा है. इसलिए उन्हें ममता मैदान में उतारेंगी, इस पर सस्पेंस है. इसीलिए बीजेपी ने इस सीट पर फोकस किया है. इसके अलावा इस बार बीजेपी ममता के राज में मुस्लिम तुष्टीकरण और महिलाओं पर अत्याचार को बड़ा मुद्दा बनाएगी और आज मोदी ने इन्ही दो मुद्दों पर फोकस किया. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की नजर भी बंगाल पर है. ओवैसी इस बार लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान बंगाल में भी अपनी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार खड़े कर सकते हैं.. ओवैसी का कहना है कि ममता सिर्फ मुसलमानों को सत्ता पाने की सीढ़ी समझती हैं, ममता मुसलमानों पर सिर्फ जुबानी जमा खर्च करती हैं, उन्होंने मुसलमानों के लिए कुछ नहीं किया है. असल में असद्दुदीन ओवैसी इस बार “आपकी अदालत” शो में मेरे मेहमान हैं. मैंने ओवैसी से पूछा कि ममता बनर्जी तो खुद को मुसलमानों का सबसे बड़ा खैरख्वाह बताती हैं. इस पर ओवैसी ने तपाक से कहा कि बंगाल जाकर देखिए हकीकत समझ आ जाएगी. उन्होंने इस पर डिटेल में जबाव दिया. पूरा जबाव आप देख पाएंगे शनिवार और रविवार रात दस बजे.
MODI CAMPAIGN FOCUS : SANDESHKHALI ATROCITIES IN BENGAL
In his whirlwind election campaign in Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee to task for the atrocities committed on women and local farmers by TMC leaders in Sandeshkhali. This issue has already hogged national news headlines. Modi, in his rallies in Arambagh and Krishnagar, focused on corruption and atrocities against women in Bengal. He did not mince words while criticizing Mamata and her party while describing the Sandeshkhali “atrocities” as “shameful”. Modi also alleged that TMC has converted all “schemes” into “scams”. He mentioned the seizure of huge amounts of cash from people close to TMC ministers. One must admire Modi for his remarkable tenacity in electioneering. On Thursday night, he was busy at his party headquarters till 3.30 am finalizing the names of candidates for nearly 150 constituencies. He returned home and early morning, he was in Jharkhand and Bengal, addressing rallies in Sindri and Arambagh. Modi had a night stay in Kolkata on Friday and again left for his meetings in Krishnagar on Saturday, followed by his visits to Aurangabad, Patna and Begusarai in Bihar. Modi is focussed on achieving his target of winning 370 Lok Sabha seats this time, if not more. On Friday evening, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Modi as part of protocol, and gifted him a box of laddoos. It was described by Mamata as a courtesy call, despite the fact that hours earlier, Modi had lambasted the TMC chief at his Arambagh rally. Mamata Banerjee is going to respond by holding Mahila Padyatra in Kolkata next week on the eve of International Women’s Day to counter BJP’s publicity campaign on atrocities against women in Sandeshkhali. In his Arambagh rally, Modi said, the entire nation hangs its head in shame over the atrocities committed on “mothers and sisters of Sandeshkhali”. He blamed Mamata for trying to protect the perpetrators of crimes in Sandeshkhali, since they belonged to her party. Modi asked at the rally, “how can any criminal save himself for 56 days without political patronage”. He also asked why Mamata’s alliance partners in INDIA bloc are silent on the Sandeshkhali issue. “Like Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys, they have closed their eyes, ears and noses”, Modi said. In 2014 elections, TMC had won the Arambagh seat, and at that time BJP candidate was on third place behind the CPI-M candidate. This time, BJP is confident of winning the Arambagh seat. Aparupa Poddar named herself Aafreen Ali after marrying a Muslim, and since Arambagh is a scheduled caste reserved constituency, she may or may not be allowed to contest this time, since she is now a Muslim. SHAHJAHAN ARREST : WHY MAMATA HAD TO BOW BEFORE COURT, PEOPLE
At last West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee had to bow in the face of stern action by Calcutta High Court and also due to popular pressure from the women of Sandeshkhali. Trinamool Congress strongman Shahjahan Sheikh, accused of sexual abuse of women and land grab, was arrested by state police and produced before a local court on Thursday. He had been in hiding for the last 56 days after his goons assaulted a team of Enforcement Directorate on January 5. He was remanded to CID custody for ten days. There are 42 cases filed against him, mostly relating to forcible occupation of land and rape of women. Bengal police has arrested him on charge of attacking the ED team only. He was arrested in Minakhan, North 24-Parganas, only 30 km away from Sandeshkhali, despite nationwide outcry against him. There was celebration in Sandeshkhali on Thursday. Women blew conch shells and threw ‘gulaal’ (coloured powder) at one another, while men distributed sweets to celebrate the arrest of Shahjahan Sheikh. The women demanded that the Centre must make arrangements so that Shahjahan must remain behind bars forever. Visuals of Shahjahan Sheikh being “escorted” by state police to the Basirhat court, and the strongman walking with a swagger showing a victory sign, soon went viral on social media. Police officers were walking meekly behind the strongman, as he stridently walked inside the courtroom. Even before he was produced in court, his lawyer approached the Calcutta High Court seeking bail and requested for an urgent hearing. The High Court clearly told the lawyer that Shahjahan Sheikh was not an ordinary criminal. The High Court told the lawyer that he was underground for nearly two months, and there was no point seeking a bail soon after his arrest. The High Court told the lawyer that “he does not deserve any sympathy”. Chief Justice T S Sivagnanam told his counsel, “As many as 42 cases are pending against him, and for the next 10 years, you will have a wonderful job. You won’t have the time to handle any other brief. You will have five to seven juniors and a legal team for the next 10 years.” There are reports that the ED may seek custody of Shahjahan Sheikh after his 10 day police custody ends. Hours after his arrest, Trinamool Congress announced that Shahjahan Sheikh has been suspended from the party for the next six years. Shahjahan held the post of party convenor for Sandeshkhali assembly constituency. He is a member of Trinamool controlled North 24 Parganas zilla parishad (district council). After trying to protect Shahjahan for nearly two months, Mamata Banerjee has realized that the continuance of this strongman in her party could prove to be a political liability in the forthcoming elections and he was, therefore, suspended from the party.
शाहजहां की गिरफ्तारी : ममता को अदालत, जनता के सामने झुकना पड़ा
पश्चिम बंगाल में हाईकोर्ट की सख्ती और संदेशखाली की जनता के दबाव के सामने आखिरकार ममता बनर्जी को झुकना पड़ा. 56 दिन से फरार तृणमूल कांग्रेस के बाहुबली नेता शेख शाहजहां को बंगाल की पुलिस ने 48 घंटे में खोज निकाला, उसकी गिरफ्तारी हो गई और उसे दस दिन की हिरासत में CID के हवाले कर दिया गया. शेख शाहजहां के खिलाफ 42 केस दर्ज हैं जिनमें जमीनों पर कब्जे, महिलाओं के साथ बलात्कार, आम लोगों की संपत्ति हड़पने जैसे मामले हैं लेकिन बंगाल की पुलिस ने कोर्ट को बताया है कि शाहजहां को ED की टीम पर 5 जनवरी को किये गए हमले के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है. मज़े की बात ये है कि शेख शाहजहां को पुलिस ने संदेशखाली से सिर्फ 30 किलोमीटर दूर, उत्तरी 24 परगना के मीनाखान से गिरफ्तार करने का दावा किया है. शेख शाहजहां की गिरफ्तारी की खबर जैसे ही संदेशखाली पहुंची, वहां के लोगों ने गुरुवार को जश्न मनाया. संदेशखाली में महिलाओं ने एक दूसरे को अबीर-गुलाल लगाया, शंख बजाया और थाली बजाकर डांस किया. इन महिलाओं ने कहा कि ये सही है कि शेख शाहजहां अभी सिर्फ गिरफ्तार हुआ, उसे सजा नहीं मिली है लेकिन न्याय की उम्मीद तो जगी है. उसके आतंक और जुल्म से अब उन्हे मुक्ति मिलेगी. कई महिलाओं ने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार को ऐसा इंतजाम करना चाहिए जिससे शेख शाहजहां कभी जेल से बाहर न आ सके.
इन महिलाओं के मन में शाहजहां शेख का डर इतना क्यों है, इसका अंदाज़ा गुरुवार की तस्वीरों से लग गया. जब शाहजहां को बसीरहाट कोर्ट में पेश किया गया, तो पश्चिम बंगाल की पुलिस पूरी अकड़ के साथ आगे आगे चल रहा था, हाथ हिलाकर विक्ट्री साइन दिखा रहा था, और बंगाल पुलिस के अफसर उसके पीछे-पीछे चल रहे थे. कोर्ट में पुलिस ने जो रिमांड कॉपी पेश की, उसमें बताया गया कि शेख शाहजहां ने ये माना है कि 5 जनवरी को ईडी की टीम पर उसने हमला करवाया था, ED की टीम से जो सामान लूटा गया और जिन हथियारों से हमला किय़ा गया, वो उसने दूसरे राज्यों में छुपा रखे हैं, उसे बरामद करना है, ED की टीम पर हमले में शामिल शेख शाहजहां के साथियों को गिरफ्तार करना है, इसलिए उसे पुलिस की हिरासत में दिया जाए. इसके बाद कोर्ट ने शेख शाहजहां को दस दिन की पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया. लेकिन हैरानी की बात ये है कि शाहजहां की गिरफ्तारी के बाद उसे कोर्ट में पेश किया जाता, उससे पहले ही शाहजहां के वकील कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट पहुंच गए और जमानत की अर्जी फाइल कर दी. वकील ने कोर्ट से शीघ्र सुनवाई का अनुरोध किया. लेकिन मुख्य न्यायाधीश टी. एस. शिवज्ञानम ने साफ-साफ कहा कि शेख शाहजहां कोई छोटा मोटा अपराधी नहीं हैं, उसके खिलाफ रेप, जमीनों पर कब्जे, मारपीट और सरकारी टीम पर हमले जैसे 42 संगीन मामले हैं, वो 56 दिन तक फरार रहा, कोर्ट के कहने पर भी पेश नहीं हुआ और आप चाहते हैं कि गिरफ्तारी के तुरंत बाद उसे जमानत दे दी जाए, उसकी अर्जी पर तुरंत सुनवाई कर ली जाए, ये संभव नहीं है. मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने कहा कि कोर्ट को शेख शाहजहां जैसे अपराधी से कोई सहानुभूति नहीं है. मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने शाहजहां के वकील से कहा कि उसे कुछ दिन पुलिस की हिरासत में रहने दीजिए, तत्काल सुनवाई की कोई जरूरत नहीं हैं. शाम को तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने शाहजहां शेख को 6 साल के लिए पार्टी से निलम्बित कर दिया. शाहजहां शेख संदेशखाली विधानसभा क्षेत्र में पार्टी के संयोजक और जिला परिषद के सदस्य हैं. साफ है कि ममता बनर्जी दो महीने तक शाहजहां का बचाव करने के बाद अब समझ चुकी है कि अब वह पार्टी के लिए राजनीतिक बोझ बन सकता है, इसलिए पार्टी अब उससे पीछा छुड़ाना चाहती है.
हिमाचल : कांग्रेस आला कमान के सामने ‘इधर कुआं, उधर खाई’ वाला हाल
इस वक्त शिमला में ज़बरदस्त सियासी हलचल है. कांग्रेस अपनी सरकार बचाने की जीतोड़ कोशिश कर रही है. हालात को संभालने के लिए भूपेन्दर हुड्डा. भूपेश बघेल और डी. के. शिवकुमार शिमला में कांग्रेस के नेताओं से बात कर रहे हैं. कांग्रेस के सभी खेमों ने अपने अपने पत्ते चल दिए हैं और बीजेपी फिलहाल इंतज़ार करो और देखो की मुद्रा में है. राज्यसभा चुनाव में क्रास वोटिंग करने वाले छह बागी कांग्रेस विधायकों की सदस्यता को विधानसभा के स्पीकर ने समाप्त कर दिया. स्पीकर ने उन्हें पार्टी के व्हिप का पालन न करने के कारण सदस्यता के लिए अयोग्य ठहरा दिया. बुधवार को बीजेपी के 15 विधायकों को स्पीकर ने सस्पेंड कर दिया, फिर विपक्ष की गैरमौजूदगी में सुखविन्दर सिंह सुक्खू की सरकार ने बजट पास करवा लिया और विधानसभा की कार्यवाही अनिश्चित काल के लिए स्थगित कर दी गई. इसका मतलब ये हुआ कि फिलहाल सुक्खू की सरकार बच गई है लेकिन अब हिमाचल कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष प्रतिभा सिंह और उनके बेटे विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने सीधा मोर्चा खोल दिया है. विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने सुक्खू की कैबिनेट से इस्तीफा दे दिया. विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने इल्जाम लगाया कि सुक्खू की सरकार में उनकी सुनी नहीं जाती. उनके पिता वीरभद्र सिंह की प्रतिमा स्थापित करने के लिए शिमला के मॉल में दो गज जमीन तक नहीं दी गई, कांग्रेस के सीनियर और जनाधार वाले विधायकों को किनारे कर दिया गया, इसलिए जो राज्यसभा के चुनाव में जो हुआ, वो हैरान करने वाला नहीं हैं. हालांकि विक्रामदित्य सिंह ने साफ साफ नहीं कहा, लेकिन वो चाहते हैं कि अब हाईकमान उनकी मां प्रतिभा सिंह को मुख्यमंत्री बनाए लेकिन उन्होंने प्रेक्षकों से बात करने के बाद इतना जरूर कह दिया कि उन्होंने इस्तीफा वापस नहीं लिया लेकिन फाइनल फैसला होने तक वो अपने इस्तीफे पर जोर नहीं डालेंगे. गुरुवार को मुख्यमंत्री सुक्खू ने अपने घर पर विधायकों को बुलाया लेकिन प्रतिभा सिंह और विक्रमादित्य सिंह उस बैठक में नहीं गये. विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा है कि उन्होंने अपना इस्तीफ़ा वापस नहीं लिया, फिलहाल वो हाईकमान के फैसले का इंतजार करेंगे क्योंकि हाईकमान के सामने अब सारी स्थिति साफ है. हाईकमान के फैसले के बाद वो आगे की रणनीति बताएंगे. अब कांग्रेस के प्रेक्षकों के सामने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती दोनों गुटों के बीच मतभेद दूर करने की है. दूसरी तरफ बीजेपी के दोनों हाथों में लड्डू है. 68 सदस्यों वाली विधानसभा में 43 विधायकों वाली कांग्रेस अपने उम्मीदवार को नहीं जिता पाई, 25 विधायकों वाली बीजेपी ने अपने उम्मीदवार को जिता लिया, इसलिए बीजेपी के नेता खुश हैं. कांग्रेस के ज्यादातर नेता इसलिए खुश हैं कि राज्यसभा की सीट गई सो गई, कम से कम सरकार तो बच गई, लेकिन आगे की राह आसान नहीं है. ये सही है कि कांग्रेस के छह बागी विधायकों के अयोग्य ठहराये जाने से विधानसभा में बहुमत का आंकड़ा 32 हो गया है और कांग्रेस के पास अभी 34 विधायक हैं. इसलिए फिलहाल सरकार को कोई खतरा नहीं दिख रहा है. लेकिन अगर कांग्रेस ने मुख्यमंत्री को नहीं बदला तो विक्रमादित्य सिंह का गुट फिर नाराज़ हो जाएगा. अगर मुख्यमंत्री बदल दिया तो सुक्खू के समर्थक विधायक आंखे दिखाएंगे. इसलिए कांग्रेस आला कमान के लिए इधर कुंआ, उधऱ खाई वाली स्थिति है.
