अतीक-अशरफ को ठिकाने लगाने की साजिश किसने रची?
अतीक अहमद और उसके भाई अशरफ की हत्या करने वाले तीनों शूटर्स को नैनी जेल से प्रतापगढ़ की जेल में शिफ्ट कर दिया गया है। इस बीच कयास लगाए जा रहे हैं कि डॉन और उसके भाई की TV पर लाइव हत्या करने वाले इन बदमाशों को आखिर भेजा किसने था। एक बात तो तय है कि अतीक और अशरफ की हत्या की जांच चाहे सुप्रीम कोर्ट की कमेटी करे, CBI, SIT करे या जांच आयोग करे, मोटी-मोटी बात तो हर किसी को पता है कि लोगों ने मरने वालों को गिरते देखा, हत्यारों को गोली चलाते देखा। यह एक ऐसा मर्डर केस है जिसमें हत्या किसने की, यह सबको पता है। पूरी दुनिया को पता है कि तीनों हत्यारे कहां के रहने वाले हैं, और तीनों कब से अतीक के पीछे लगे थे। बस यह नहीं पता कि तीनों लड़कों ने अतीक को क्यों मारा। अब तक किसी के पास इस सवाल का जवाब नहीं है कि अतीक और उसके भाई की हत्या का मकसद क्या था। पुलिस को इस सवाल का जबाव देना मुश्किल हो रहा है। बहुत से लोग पूछ रहे हैं कि बात-बात पर गोली चलाने वाली यूपी पुलिस ने अतीक पर फायरिंग कर रहे हत्यारों पर फायरिंग क्यों नहीं की? पुलिस हाथ बांधे क्यों खड़ी रही? अगर पुलिस गोली चलाती और ये अपराधी मारे जाते तो यही लोग कहते कि पुलिस ने जान-बूझकर हत्यारों को मार डाला जिससे अतीक और उसकी हत्या करने वालों के सारे राज एक साथ खत्म हो जाएं। इसलिए सवालों का और आरोपों का कोई अंत नहीं है। लेकिन यह सही है कि कम से कम यह पता लगना चाहिए कि अतीक के हत्यारों को किसने मदद की, किसने उन्हें हथियार दिए, किसने ट्रेनिंग दी, किसने पैसे दिए और अतीक के हत्या के पीछे उसका मकसद क्या था। जब तक किसी रिपोर्ट में इन सवालों के सही जवाब नहीं मिलेंगे, तब तक कोई उस रिपोर्ट पर भरोसा नहीं करेगा। इसी तरह की बातें कहकर विरोधी दलों ने योगी की सरकार पर हमला शुरू कर दिया है। यह बात सही है कि लोकतंत्र में, सभ्य समाज में किसी तरह की हिंसा का कोई स्थान नहीं होता। अपराधी को सजा देने के लिए कानून है, किसी को अपराधी की हत्या का हक नहीं है। इसलिए अतीक के हत्यारों को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिलनी चाहिए और यह पता लगाया जाना चाहिए कि उसके हत्यारों को लॉजिस्टिक सपोर्ट किसने किया, उसका मकसद क्या है। यह भी सही है कि जो पार्टियां और नेता अतीक की हत्या को लेकर योगी आदित्यनाथ पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं, उन्हें अपने-अपने राज्य की कानून व्यवस्था की तुलना उत्तर प्रदेश की कानून व्यवस्था से करनी चाहिए। उन्हें यह भी देखना चाहिए कि उत्तर प्रदेश में 6 साल से दंगे क्यों नहीं हुए। यूपी में 6 साल से राम नवमी, हनुमान जयंती, मुहर्रम और दूसरे त्योहारों में हिंसा क्यों नहीं हुई। ममता हों या नीतीश, उन्हें यह भी देखना चाहिए कि यूपी में माफिया के खिलाफ 6 साल में योगी ने किस तरह का ऐक्शन लिया। असली बात ये है कि किसी को माफिया के खिलाफ ऐक्शन से, या फिर अतीक की हत्या से बहुत ज्यादा फर्क नहीं पड़ता। विरोधी दल इस मौके का इस्तेमाल प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से सियासी हिसाब-किताब बराबर करने में कर रहे हैं। वे योगी के कंधे पर कमान रखकर मोदी पर सियासी तीर छोड़ रहे हैं। मोदी से विरोधी दल के नेता इसलिए नाराज है क्योंकि वह भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ धड़ाधड़ कार्रवाई कर रहे हैं।
बंगाल शिक्षक भर्ती घोटाला: अभिषेक बनर्जी को मिली बड़ी राहत
तृणमूल कांग्रेस के विधायक जीवन कृष्ण शाहा सोमवार को शिक्षक भर्ती घोटाले में गिरफ्तार हो गए। सोमवार को ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट के उस आदेश पर रोक लगा दी जिसमें CBI और ED को शिक्षक भर्ती घोटाले में ममता बनर्जी के भतीजे अभिषेक बनर्जी से पूछताछ करने का निर्देश दिया गया था। CBI ने पहले अभिषेक बनर्जी को समन भेजा था, लेकिन बाद में कहा कि वह सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश का पालन करेगी। इस बीच, ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया है कि केंद्र सरकार नागरिकता संशोधन अधिनियम को लेकर दोबारा डर करने की कोशिश कर रही है। उन्होंने UIDAI को गृह मंत्रालय के एक निर्देश का जिक्र किया जो उनके दफ्तर को भी भेजा गया था। में कहा गया है कि बंगाल के बॉर्डर पर स्थित दो जिलों में अवैध आधार कार्ड को खत्म करने की कवायद शुरू होनी चाहिए। ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया कि मोदी और अमित शाह एक समुदाय विशेष को निशाना बनाने के लिए NRC (राष्ट्रीय नागरिक रजिस्टर) के डर को जिंदा करना चाहते हैं। ममता बीजेपी पर हिंदुओं के वोटों का ध्रुवीकरण करने की कोशिश का इल्जाम लगा रही हैं, तो जवाब में बीजेपी ने भी ममता पर मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण का आरोप लगाया है। बात बीजेपी की भी सही है और ममता की भी। बीजेपी बंगाल में हिंदुओं का वोट अपने पक्ष में करना चाहती है, और ममता भी इस बात से इनकार नहीं कर सकती कि वह बीजेपी का डर दिखाकर मुसलमानों का वोट इकट्ठा करना चाहती है। यह वोटों की राजनीतिय है और ऐसा हर पार्टी करती है। हकीकत यह है कि ममता इस वक्त अभिषेक बनर्जी पर कस रहे CBI के शिकंजे से परेशान हैं। ममता जानती हैं कि शिक्षकों की भर्ती में हुए घोटाले में अभिषेक बनर्जी की मुश्किलें बढ़ सकती हैं। इस घोटाले में ममता की पार्टी के एक विधायक की गिरफ्तारी सोमवार को ही हुई है। इससे पहले तृणमूल के 2 विधायक, पार्थ चटर्जी और माणिक भट्टाचार्य भी इसी घोटाले में गिरफ्तार किए जा चुके हैं। हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पिलहाल अभिषेक बनर्जी के खिलाफ जांच पर रोक लगा दी है, ममता जानती हैं कि अदालत से ज्यादा दिनों तक सुरक्षा नहीं मिल सकती। यही वजह है कि ममता ने अभी से इस मामले को राजनीतिक रंग देना शुरू कर दिया है।
ATIQ-ASHRAF KILLINGS: WHO IS THE CONSPIRATOR?

Already opposition leaders have started attacking Yogi’s government. It is true, in a democratic civil society, there must be no place for violence. There are laws for punishing criminals. No powers have been given to anybody to kill criminals. The killers of Atiq and Ashraf must be given strong punishment. It is also true that the parties and leaders who are questioning Yogi Adityanath on these killings, should compare the law and order situation in their own states with that of UP. They should also see why no communal riots took place in UP during the last six years, why there were hardly any big communal violence during Ramnavami, Hanuman Jayanti, Mohurram and other festivals. Both Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar should see how Yogi took action against mafia gangs during the last six years. The reality is that it does make any difference to anybody whether action is taken against mafia or mafia dons like Atiq are killed. Opposition parties are utilizing this period to settle political scores with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these parties are using Yogi’s shoulders to fire political arrows at Modi. Opposition parties do not like Modi because the Prime Minister is taking nationwide action against corruption.
BENGAL TEACHERS’ SCAM: ABHISHEK BANERJEE GETS A BREATHER
On Monday, a Trinamool Congress MLA Jiban Krishna Saha was arrested in teachers recruitment scam. The same day, the Supreme Court stayed a Calcutta High Court order directing CBI and ED to interrogate Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee in the teachers recruitment scam. CBI had already sent a summons to Abhishek Banerjee, but it later said it will abide by the SC order. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the Centre is trying to revive fears about Citizenship Amendment Act, after a Home Ministry directive to UIDAI was forwarded to her office, which says, an exercise should start to eliminate illegal Aadhar cards in two border districts of Bengal. Mamata Banerjee alleged that Modi and Amit Shah want to raise the fear of NRC (National Register of Citizens) again to target a particular community. While Mamata alleged that BJP is trying to polarize Hindu voters, BJP leaders said that Mamata was following Muslim appeasement policy. Both Mamata and BJP are correct. BJP wants Hindu voters in Bengal, and Mamata cannot deny that she wants to polarize Muslim votes by raising fear about Hindutva. This is vote politics. The ground reality is that Mamata is worried about the teachers recruitment probe noose tightening around her nephew. With one of her MLAs arrested on Monday, and two MLAs Partha Chatterjee and Manik Bhattacharya already arrested, Mamata is seeing the writing on the wall. Though Supreme Court granted stay on probe against Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata knows that the protection from court will not last long. Already, Mamata is busy giving a political colour to the ongoing probe.

उत्तर प्रदेश के झांसी में गुरुवार को यूपी STF के साथ मुठभेड़ में गैंगस्टर अतीक अहमद के बेटे असद और उसके शूटर गुलाम की मौत हो गई। यह सूबे की सियासत में एक बड़ी घटना है । छह साल पहले तक यूपी में गैंगस्टर खुलेआम घूमा करते थे। जिस समय मुठभेड़ हुई, उसी समय प्रयागराज की एक अदालत अतीक अहमद और उसके भाई अशरफ की रिमांड अर्जियों पर सुनवाई कर रही थी। अतीक अहमद अपने बेटे की मौत की खबर सुनकर कोर्टरूम में रो पड़ा। 2005 में बीएसपी विधायक राजू पाल की हत्या हुई थी, और उसी मामले में मुख्य गवाह उमेश पाल की हत्या इस साल 24 फरवरी को हुई। उसके बाद दोनों मुख्य आरोपी असद और गुलाम पर 5-5 लाख रुपये का इनाम था। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने विधानसभा में गुस्से में कहा था कि ‘पूरे गैंग को मिट्टी में मिला दूंगा।’ योगी ने अपना वादा पूरा किया। झांसी एनकाउंटर में दोनों बदमाशों को मार गिराने वाली यूपी एसटीएफ की टीम का नेतृत्व दो डीएसपी, नवेंदु और विमल कर रहे थे। माफिया गिरोहों के खिलाफ यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के ऐलान-ए-जंग का काफी असर हुआ है। यूपी में बड़े अपराधी अब फरार चल रहे हैं। दो दिन पहले ही योगी ने कहा था कि उत्तर प्रदेश में घुसते ही अब बड़े से बड़े माफिया की पैंट गीली हो जाती है। गुजरात की जेल से प्रयागराज लाए जाते वक्त अतीक ने रिपोर्टर्स से कहा कि योगी ने ‘माफियागिरी’ खत्म कर दी, और सब मिट्टी में मिला दिया। अब तक अकेले अतीक अहमद की करीब 11 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति या तो जब्त हो चुकी है, या उस पर बुलडोजर चल चुका है। उत्तर प्रदेश में 2 बड़े माफिया गिरोह थे, जिनके सरगना थे, अतीक अहमद और मुख्तार अंसारी। छह साल पहले जब योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार आई थी, तब तक ये दोनों गैंगस्टर्स कानूनी दांव पेंचों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए दूसरे राज्यों की जेल में शिफ्ट हो गए थे । योगी दोनों को उत्तर प्रदेश ले कर आए । जेलों मे इन दोनों के जो मददगार थे, उनके खिलाफ भी ऐक्शन लिया, और अब दोनों का पूरा कुनबा जेल में हैं । इनका सारा साम्राज्य खत्म कर दिया गया है । सिर्फ अतीक और मुख्तार के खिलाफ ऐक्शन नहीं हुआ है, बल्कि योगी ने माफिया की करीब 15000 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति जब्त की है। अतीक अहमद जैसे अपराधी जो पहले कहते थे कि ‘डर काहे का’, अब वे कह रहे हैं कि बाबा ने पूरे खानदान को मिट्टी में मिला दिया और ‘अब रगड़ाई कर रहे हैं।’ जब माफिया इस तरह से डरे सहमे दिखते हैं तो आम लोगों में कानून के प्रति भरोसा बढ़ता है। यह योगी की बड़ी उपलब्धि है।
गहलोत को मोदी की गुगली
बुधवार को अजमेर-जयपुर-दिल्ली के बीच वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस का वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए शुभारंभ करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ‘सियासी उठापटक और संकट’ में फंसे होने के बावजूद कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने और ‘विकास के लिए वक्त निकालने’ के लिए राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत की सराहना की। गहलोत दने राजस्थान के लिए रेलवे से जुड़ी कुछ मांगें रखी थी, जिनकी तरफ इशारा करते हुए मोदी ने कहा, ‘जो काम आजादी के तुरंत बाद होना चाहिए था, अब तक नहीं हो पाया, लेकिन आपका मुझ पर इतना भरोसा है, इतना भरोसा है कि आज वो काम भी आपने मेरे सामने रखे हैं। आप का यह विश्वास है, यही मित्रता की अच्छी ताकत है। और एक मित्र के नाते आप जो भरोसा रखते हैं उसके लिए मैं आपका बहुत आभार व्यक्त करता हूं।’ मोदी ने कहा कि आजादी के बाद से रेल मंत्रियों के चुनाव, नई ट्रेनों की घोषणा और यहां तक कि भर्ती में भी राजनीतिक स्वार्थ हावी रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि रेलवे में नौकरी देने के बहाने जमीनें ली गईं। आज गहलोत जी के दो-दो हाथ में लड्डू हैं। रेल मंत्री (अश्विनी वैष्णव) राजस्थान के हैं और रेलवे बोर्ड के चेयरमैन भी राजस्थान के हैं। गहलोत को समझ में ही नहीं आया कि वह मोदी की बात पर ताली बजाएं या फिर इस बात की चिंता करें कि इसका असर क्या होगा। गहलोत जानते हैं कि मोदी की तारीफ उन्हें महंगी पड़ सकती है और राहुल गांधी नाराज हो सकते हैं। इसलिए गहलोत ने प्रोग्राम के तुरंत बाद ट्विटर पर एक बयान जारी कर कहा, ‘मुझे दुख है कि आज मेरी मौजूदगी में आपने 2014 से पहले के सभी रेल मंत्रियों के फैसलों को भ्रष्टाचार और राजनीतिक स्वार्थ से प्रेरित बताया। आज आधुनिक ट्रेनें चल पा रही हैं क्योंकि डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह जी ने वित्त मंत्री के रूप में 1991 में आर्थिक उदारीकरण किया और नई तकनीक को भारत में विकसित होने का अवसर दिया। आज आपका भाषण पूरी तरह 2023-24 के विधानसभा एवं लोकसभा चुनावों को देखते हुए दिया गया है एवं यह बीजेपी के चुनावी एजेंडे के रूप में था।’ उन्होंने जिन रेल मंत्रियों के नाम अपने बयान में लिखे उनके नाम मोदी ने नहीं लिए थे, और जिन लालू यादव पर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों का मोदी ने जिक्र किया था उनका नाम गहलोत ने नहीं लिया। संयोग से, ED ने बुधवार को दिल्ली में लालू के बेटे और बिहार के डिप्टी सीएम तेजस्वी यादव से ‘नौकरी के लिए जमीन’ घोटाले में पूछताछ की। गहलोत को इन सब बातों से कोई परेशानी नहीं है। वह तो बस इतना चाहते हैं कि मोदी ने उनकी जो तारीफ की, दोस्त कहा, उसका कोई गलत मतलब न निकाले। कांग्रेस में राहुल गांधी आजकल किसी को भी यह कहने में देर नहीं लगाते कि तुम मोदी के आदमी हो। सचिन पायलट वैसे भी आजकल गहलोत के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोलकर बैठे हैं। वह दिल्ली में राहुल गांधी से मिलने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। जाहिर है, गहलोत फूंक फूंक कर कदम रखना चाहते हैं।
विपक्षी एकता: नीतीश, राहुल और केजरीवाल
बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने अपने डिप्टी तेजस्वी यादव और अन्य नेताओं के साथ बुधवार को कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, राहुल गांधी और कांग्रेस के अन्य नेताओं से मुलाकात की। खरगे ने बैठक को ‘ऐतिहासिक’ बताते हुए कहा कि विपक्षी दल अगले साल होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव को एकजुट होकर लड़ेंगे। राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि विपक्षी दलों को एकजुट करने की दिशा में यह एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है और कांग्रेस इस वैचारिक लड़ाई में सभी दलों को साथ लेगी। इसके बाद नीतीश और तेजस्वी ने AAP सुप्रीमो अरविंद केजरीवाल से भी मुलाकात की। बाद में, केजरीवाल ने एक अच्छी पहल करने के लिए नीतीश की सराहना की और कहा, ‘हम इस पर साथ-साथ हैं और जिस तरह चीजें आगे बढ़ रही हैं, हमें अच्छा लग रहा है।’ विरोधी दलों की एकता की बात सुनने में जितनी पक्की लगती है, असलियत में उतनी ही कच्ची है। यह सही है कि ये सारे नेता आजकल ED और CBI के सताए हुए हैं। ईडी और सीबीआई के कथित दुरुपयोग के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट के हस्तक्षेप की मांग करते हुए 14 विपक्षी दलों ने एक संयुक्त याचिका पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे, लेकिन शीर्ष अदालत ने यह कहते हुए उन्हें बैरंग लौटा दिया था कि ‘राजनेता कानून और गिरफ्तारी से छूट के तहत विशेष बर्ताव की मांग नहीं कर सकते ।’ हमने देखा कि कैसे अडानी विवाद को लेकर JPC की मांग के मुद्दे पर भी विपक्षी एकता नजर आई थी, लेकिन पिछले हफ्ते एनसीपी सुप्रीमो शरद पवार ने इसमे पलीता लगा दिया। बाद में पवार ‘विपक्षी एकता के लिए’ JPC की मांग का विरोध न करने पर सहमत हुए। इसी तरह, सावरकर के सवाल पर राहुल गांधी के विचारों से न शरद पवार सहमत हैं और न ही उद्धव ठाकरे। वहीं, संजय राउत भले ही कहते रहें कि कांग्रेस, शिवसेना (उद्धव) और NCP की महा विकास आघाड़ी फेविकोल का जोड़ है, टूटेगा नहीं, लेकिन अजीत पवार के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे और उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस से मुलाकात की खबरों ने फेविकोल के इस जोड़ पर पानी डाल दिया है।
YOGI FULFILS HIS PROMISE, ATIQ’S SON, ACCOMPLICE KILLED
The death of gangster Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad and his shooter Ghulam in an encounter with UP Special Task Force in Jhansi on Thursday morning marks a watershed in UP politics, where till six years ago, gangsters used to roam free. At the time the encounter was taking place, a court in Prayagraj was hearing remand applications for Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. Atiq Ahmed wept in courtroom on hearing news about his son’s death. Both Asad and Ghulam were carrying rewards of Rs 5 lakh each. They were the main accused in the murder of Umesh Pal, a key witness in BSP MLA Raju Pal’s murder case of 2005. An angry chief minister Yogi Adityanath had then promised in the state assembly, that he would “crush the gang (mitti me milaa doonga).” Yogi has fulfilled his promise. The UP STF team that killed both the gangsters in the Jhansi encounter was led by two DSPs Navendu and Vimal. The war cry against mafia gangs by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath is yielding big dividends. Big criminals in UP are now on the run. Two days ago, Yogi said, big gangsters now tremble in fear and ‘wet their pants’ when they enter UP. Atiq Ahmed, while being brought from Gujarat jail to Prayagraj, had told reporters, “ ‘mafiagiri’ is now over, and everything has been decimated (mitti me mila diya)”. Nearly Rs 11 crore worth properties of Atiq Ahmed alone has been either attached or razed. There were two big criminal gangs active in UP, belonging to Atiq Ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari, when Yogi came to power six years ago. Both the gangsters were using legal subterfuges to shift themselves to jails outside UP. It was Yogi who brought both the gangsters back to UP, and also took action against officials who were helping gangsters inside jails. As of now, almost the entire families of both gangsters are now in jail, and their empires lie in tatters. Not only Atiq and Mukhtar, but Yogi has attached nearly Rs 15,000 crore worth properties belonging to mafia gangs. Gangsters like Atiq Ahmed, who earlier used to nonchalantly say ‘dar kahey kaa’ (why should I fear?) are now saying that his entire family has been decimated and “now ‘ragadai’ (rubbing the wrong way) is going on”. When mafia leaders speak such words out of fear, the common man’s trust in law increases. The credit goes to Yogi.
MODI THROWS A GOOGLY AT GEHLOT
On Wednesday, when Vande Bharat Express between Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi was launched via video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot for attending the event despite, what he said, being busy in ‘political tumble and crisis’ and ‘taking time out for development’. Referring to Gehlot’s demand for providing rail links to Banswara, Tonk, Karauli, Modi said, “you have so much trust in me that the work that you could have got done during Congress rule, you are asking me to do as a friend. This trust of yours is the strength of friendship. Gehlot knows, Modi’s praise could prove costly for him in Congress and Rahul Gandhi can become exasperated. He immediately took to Twitter, and posted: “I am sorry, today, in my presence, you termed the decisions of all railway ministers prior to 2014 as motivated by corruption and political self-interest. Indian Railways was modernized because of Dr Manmohan Singh’s 1991 economic liberalization policy, that provided new technology to upgrade.…Today your speech was aimed at Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, and it was like the BJP’s poll agenda”. He named all the previous Railway Ministers, except Lalu Prasad Yadav. Coincidentally, Lalu’s son, Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was questioned by ED in Delhi on Wednesday in the ‘land for jobs’ scam. Gehlot has no problem with this, but he wants to ensure that his friends in Congress do not misread the praises heaped on him by PM Modi. Rahul Gandhi has the habit of labelling all dissenters in his party as pro-Modi. With assembly polls due later this year, Gehlot wants to avoid this. Already, his ‘bete noire’ Sachin Pilot is up in arms. Gehlot wants to tread the path carefully.
NITISH, RAHUL, KEJRIWAL ON OPPOSITION UNITY
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, along with his deputy Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders, met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday. Kharge described the meeting as ‘historic’ and said, opposition parties will contest next year’s Lok Sabha polls unitedly. Rahul Gandhi said, ‘this was a historic step towards uniting opposition parties and Congress will take all parties along in this ideological battle’. Later, Nitish and Tejashwi also met AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal. Later, Kejriwal praised Nitish for taking ‘a good initiative’, and said, “we are on board with this and we like the way it is adding up”. Talks of Opposition unity may look solid, but the ground realities are weak. It is true that most of the opposition leaders are facing the brunt of Enforcement Directorate and CBI. Fourteen opposition parties had signed a joint petition seeking Supreme Court’s intervention against alleged misuse of ED and CBI, but the apex court declined to entertain the petition, saying “politicians can’t seek special treatment under law and immunity from arrest”. We saw how opposition parties came together on the issue of demanding a joint parliamentary probe into Adani controversy, but last week, NCP chief Sharad Pawar opposed the demand saying JPC probe will be ineffective. Later, Pawar agreed not to oppose the demand for JPC ‘for the sake of opposition unity’. Similarly, on Rahul’s remarks about Veer Savarkar, both Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray are unhappy because the people of Maharashtra consider Savarkar as an icon. Already, there are signs that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (alliance) in Maharashtra between Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav) and NCP, may face turmoil, after reports came of Ajit Pawar meeting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
अतीक अहमद पर छाया योगी का खौफ
दर्जनों लोगों को मौत की नींद सुलाने वाला गैंगस्टर अतीक अहमद मंगलवार को एक बार फिर यूपी पुलिस की गाड़ियों के काफिले में गुजरात की साबरमती जेल से प्रयागराज की अदालत में पेश होने के लिए रवाना हुआ। अतीक को करीब दो हफ्ते पहले उमेश पाल की किडनैपिंग के केस में पेशी के लिए प्रयागराज इसी तरह लाया गया था। अतीक अहमद के चेहरे पर खौफ के निशान साफ नजर आ रहे थे। जेल वैन के अंदर से पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए गैंगस्टर ने कहा, ‘आप लोग हो तो डर नहीं लग रहा है ।’ कई हत्याओं में शामिल अतीक ने बड़ी बेशर्मी से कहा, ‘सरकार ने कहा था, मिट्टी में मिला दिया जाएगा, हम बिल्कुल मिट्टी में मिल गये हैं। अब तो मिट्टी में मिलने के बाद रगड़ा जा रहा है। मेरे परिवार को परेशान किया जा रहा है। मैं आप लोगों की वजह से सुरक्षित हूं।’ उम्मीद तो यही है कि अतीक सुरक्षित प्रयागराज की नैनी जेल तक पहुंच जाएगा, लेकिन जब तक नहीं पहुंचेगा, तब तक उसकी सांसें अटकी रहेंगी। उसे लगता है गाड़ी कहीं भी पलट सकती है, उसे डर है एक्सीडेंट कभी भी हो सकता है। अपराधियों में कानून का, पुलिस का, सरकार का ऐसा खौफ कुछ मामलों में जरूरी होता है, और माफिया में यह डर योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पैदा किया है। यह योगी की बड़ी कामयाबी है। इससे पहले की सरकारों में अपराधियों पर कार्रवाई उनकी क्राइम लिस्ट के हिसाब से नहीं, उनकी जाति और मजहब देख कर होती थी। अपराधियों के खौफ का इस्तेमाल वोट बटोरने में होता था। इसलिए अतीक अहमद हों या मुख्तार अंसारी, जिसकी सरकार होती थी ये उसके साथ हो लेते थे और बचे रहते थे। अब बड़े माफिया हों या छोटे-मोटे अपराधी, सबकी क्राइम कुंडली की तहकीकात की जा रही है। जिसकी फाइल खुली या तो वह गले में तख्ती लटका थाने पहुंच गया, या फिर यूपी की सरहद से बाहर हो गया। यूपी में पुलिस को खुली छूट दी गई है। पिछले 6 साल में योगी के राज में, 23 मार्च तक 10,713 एनकाउंटर हो चुके हैं जिनमें 178 खूंखार अपराधी मारे जा चुके हैं और 23,069 अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अतीक अहमद इन्हीं आंकड़ों को देखकर डर रहा है। यह डर यूपी के लिए, और वहां के लोगों के लिए अच्छा है। आज यूपी में लोग अपने आप को सुरक्षित महसूस करते हैं। इसका श्रेय योगी को जाता है।
क्या सचिन पायलट का धैर्य जवाब दे रहा है?
वसुंधरा राजे के शासन के दौरान हुए कथित भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग को लेकर कांग्रेस के असंतुष्ट नेता सचिन पायलट मंगलवार को जयपुर में एक दिन के उपवास पर बैठे। इसके बाद बुधवार को वह पार्टी नेताओं से बातचीत के लिए दिल्ली पहुंचे। पायलट ने अपने मंच के बैकग्राउंड में कांग्रेस के चुनाव चिह्न का इस्तेमाल करने से परहेज किया। पायलट को राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक पार्टी के सांसद हनुमान बेनीवाल का भी समर्थन मिला, जिन्होंने उन्हें कांग्रेस छोड़ने और नई पार्टी बनाने की सलाह दी। बेनीवाल मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत के पुराने प्रतिद्वंद्वी हैं। सचिन पायलट नाम तो पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे का ले रहे हैं, लेकिन निशाना अशोक गहलोत पर लगा रहे हैं। इसके पीछे की वजह साफ है। पायलट किसी भी तरह से मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहते हैं। उन्हें अब राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी के वादों पर यकीन नहीं है, इसलिए उन्होंने इस साल के आखिर में होने जा रहे विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले आखिरी दांव चल दिया है। उनका सीधा संदेश यही है कि या तो कांग्रेस उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री पद का दावेदार घोषित करे या फिर वह अपना रास्ता अलग कर लेंगे। इसीलिए उन्होंने अनशन के वक्त जो पोस्ट लगाए, उसमें न कांग्रेस कहीं थी और न कांग्रेस के नेता। दूसरी तरफ, अशोक गहलोत पुराने चावल हैं। सियासत के मैदान में सचिन पायलट उनके सामने बच्चे हैं। पायलट ने पिछले साल सितंबर में गहलोत की सरकार गिराने में पूरी ताकत लगा दी थी, लेकिन सीएम के एक दांव के सामने उनकी सारी चालें धरी रह गईं। अब सचिन पायलट का सब्र जवाब दे गया है, इसलिए उन्होंने बगावती तेवर अपनाए हैं। सियासत में सब्र से ज्यादा तजुर्बा काम आता है, और अशोक गहलोत के पास 50 साल का अनुभव है। वह ये साबित करने की कोशिश करेंगे कि पायलट ने पर्दे के पीछे बीजेपी से हाथ मिला लिया है, और उनके जहाज को कमांड बीजेपी से मिल रही है। इस मामले में पायलट के लिए जवाब देना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। फिलहाल, राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी का फोकस राजस्थान पर नहीं दिख रहा है। वे कुछ दूसरी चुनौतियों का सामना करने में लगे हुए हैं।
फिर सावरकर के चक्कर में फंसे राहुल
लोकसभा सदस्यता गंवाने के बाद राहुल गांधी ने मंगलवार को केरल के वायनाड में अपनी बहन प्रियंका के साथ रोड शो किया। राहुल ने एक रैली को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, ‘मेरे लिए सांसद होना सिर्फ एक टैग है। बीजेपी मुझसे वह टैग छीन सकती है, मेरा घर छीन सकती है, लेकिन मैं परेशान होने वाला नहीं हूं। मैं जनता के मुद्दे उठाता रहूंगा।’ प्रियंका ने अपने भाई की सराहना करते हुए उन्हें ‘निडर और ईमानदार योद्धा’ बताया। उन्होंने कहा, ‘सरकार राहुल को उनके घर से निकाल सकती है, लेकिन लोगों के दिलों से कैसे निकालेगी?’ पिछले हफ्ते बीजेपी में शामिल हुए कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता एके एंटनी के बेटे अनिल एंटनी ने कहा, ‘राहुल के रोड शो का कोई असर नहीं होगा, क्योंकि बाकी के राज्यों की तरह केरल के लोगों को भी समझ में आने लगा है कि देश को नरेंद्र मोदी ही आगे ले जा सकते हैं।’ वायनाड में राहुल के स्वागत में जो पोस्टर लगाए गए थे उसमें लिखा हुआ था ‘मैं सावरकर नहीं, गांधी हूं, और गांधी माफी नहीं मांगते।’ पूरा शहर ऐसे हजारों पोस्टरों से भरा पड़ा था। वायनाड में लगे पोस्टरों को लेकर महाराष्ट्र में फिर विवाद शुरू हो गया। कांग्रेस के नेता और महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण ने इसे लेकर सफाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि वायनाड में जो पोस्टर लगे थे, वह वहां के स्थानीय लोगों ने लगाए थे, कांग्रेस पार्टी ने नहीं। चव्हाण ने कहा, ‘बाकी पार्टियों (शिवसेना) के साथ हुई बातचीत में जो तय हुआ था, कांग्रेस लीडरशिप उस पर कायम है।’ लगता है सावरकर का नाम राहुल गांधी का पीछा आसानी से नहीं छोड़ेगा। राहुल गांधी ने प्रसिद्ध क्रांतिकारी वीर सावरकर को ‘माफीवीर’ बताया था, जिन्होंने अंग्रेजों को कई दया याचिकाएं भेजी थीं। सावरकर को महाराष्ट्र में विभूतियों में गिना जाता है। NCP सुप्रीमो शरद पवार और शिवसेना (उद्धव) के चीफ उद्धव ठाकरे ने कांग्रेस के नेताओं से साफ-साफ कहा है कि वीर सावरकर सिर्फ महाराष्ट्र के नहीं, बल्कि पूरे देश के गौरव हैं। विपक्षी नेताओं की बैठक में, जिसमें शिवसेना का उद्धव गुट मौजूद नहीं था, शरद पवार ने सोनिया और राहुल गांधी दोनों से कहा कि कांग्रेस को इस तरह के भावनात्मक विषय पर बोलने से बचना चाहिए। पवार ने कथित तौर पर राहुल से कहा, ‘हमें भावनात्मक मुद्दों से बचना चाहिए और वास्तविक मुद्दों पर टिके रहना चाहिए।’ कांग्रेस सावरकर पर निशाना न साधने की बात पर सहमत तो हो गई, लेकिन ऐसा लगता है कि अभी यह संदेश केरल तक नहीं पहुंचा है।
YOGI’S FEAR IN THE MIND OF ATIQ AHMED
Two weeks after gangster Atiq Ahmed was brought in a convoy of UP police vehicles from Ahmedabad to Prayagraj and taken back, a repetition took place on Tuesday. Atiq was again taken in a convoy to Prayagraj, where he will be produced in court. There were signs of fear evident on his face. While speaking to reporters, the gangster said, “I am safe because of you people.” The man, who was behind the murders of dozens of people, brazenly said, “The government has already decimated me…My family is ruined. I am safe because of you.” Atiq will reach Naini Jail near Prayagraj by Wednesday evening, but till then, he is on razor’s edge, fearing death due to accident. Fear of law and police in the minds of criminals is essential. It goes to the credit of Yogi Adityanath who has struck fear in the minds of mafia gangs in UP. This is his biggest achievement. During previous regimes in UP, action against criminals used to be taken on the basis of caste and religion. These gangsters were used to corner votes by spreading fear. Gangsters like Atiq Ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari, used to always side with the party in power to avail protection. Now that the files of all criminals, whether big or small, have been opened, several of them have started going to police stations to surrender, or cross over to neighbouring states. UP police has been given a free hand to deal with criminals. In the last six years of Yogi’s rule, there have been 10,713 encounters till March 23. One hundred and seventy eight dreaded criminals were killed and 23,069 criminals were arrested. Atiq Ahmed is afraid because of these telling figures. Such fear among criminals is good for the state and its people. People in Uttar Pradesh are now safe. The credit goes to Yogi.
SACHIN PILOT: IS PATIENCE RUNNING OUT ?
Dissident Congress leader Sachin Pilot sat on a day-long fast in Jaipur on Tuesday demanding action against alleged corruption during Vasundhara Raje’s regime. On Wednesday he reached Delhi for talks with party leaders. Pilot avoided using Congress symbol in the backdrop of the dais. Pilot got support from Rashtriya Loktantrik Party MP Hanuman Beniwal, who advised him to leave Congress and form a new party. Beniwal is an old rival of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The paradox is that Sachin Pilot is naming ex-CM Vasundhara Raje, but his barbs are actually meant for Ashok Gehlot. The reason is quite clear. Pilot wants to become the CM at all costs. He doesn’t trust Rahul or Priyanka Gandhi any more for fulfilling their promise. This is Pilot’s last gamble before Rajasthan goes to assembly elections later this year. His message is clear: Declare me as the chief ministerial candidate or I will go my own way. The posters that Pilot used at his dharna site, do not mention Congress party or its leaders. On the other hand, Ashok Gehlot is a wily, experienced politician. Sachin Pilot is a kid compared to Gehlot’s innings in politics. In September last year, Pilot tried his best to dislodge Gehlot’s government, but the wily chief minister nipped his move in the bud. Pilot is losing patience and he is on the brink of open revolt. In politics, experience matter more than impatience. Ashok Gehlot has been in politics for five decades. He will try to prove that Pilot is working at the behest of BJP. In such a case, Pilot will find it difficult to defend himself. Presently, both Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are not focussed on Rajasthan. They are busy facing other challenges.
RAHUL AND SAVARKAR, AGAIN
After losing his Lok Sabha membership, Rahul Gandhi took out a roadshow with sister Priyanka, in Wayanad, Kerala on Tuesday. Addressing a rally, Rahul said, ‘for me, MP is just a tag, BJP can take away that tag, it can take away my home, but I am not afraid, I will continue to raise people’s issues’. Priyanka praised her brother as a ‘warrior, full or courage and honesty’. She said, ‘government may throw Rahul out of his home, but it cannot throw him out of the hearts of people.’ Anil Antony, son of senior Congress leader A K Antony, who joined BJP last week, said, ‘Rahul’s roadshow will not have any impact, because like other states, people in Kerala have realized that only Modi can take the country forward.’ In Wayanad, there were thousands of welcome posters on which was written, “I am not Savarkar, I am a Gandhi, Gandhis never apologize”. These posters caused consternation in Maharashtra. Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan quickly clarified that the posters were put up by local residents in Wayanad, and not by Congress party. Chavan said, ‘Congress leadership stands by its assurance to allies (read Shiv Sena) on the issue of Savarkar.’ It seems the Savarkar issue is going to nag Rahul Gandhi again. Rahul Gandhi had described famous revolutionary Veer Savarkar as ‘maafiveer’, who sent several mercy petitions to the British. Savarkar is considered an icon in Maharashtra. NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (Uddhav) chief Uddhav Thackeray have clearly told Congress leaders that Savarkar is not only the pride of Maharashtra, but the whole of India. At the opposition leaders’ meeting, where Shiv Sena was a notable absentee, Sharad Pawar told both Sonia and Rahul Gandhi that Congress must avoid speaking on such an emotional subject. ‘We should avoid emotional and emotive issues and stick to real issues’, Pawar reportedly told Rahul. Congress agreed to tone down its criticism of Savarkar, but it appears the message is yet to reach Kerala.

गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने सोमवार को अरुणाचल प्रदेश बॉर्डर पर बसे भारत के पहले गांव से चीन को कड़ा संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा, ‘वे दिन गए जब कोई भी हमारी जमीनों पर कब्जा कर लेता था। अब किसी की हिम्मत नहीं जो भारत की सुई की नोंक की बराबर जमीन पर भी कब्जा कर सके।’ वह अरुणाचल प्रदेश के अंजॉ जिले में वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा के पास भारत के पहले गांव किबिथू में ‘वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम’ की शुरुआत कर रहे थे। चीनी विदेश मंत्रालय ने इस पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि ‘जंगनन’ (अरुणाचल के लिए चीन का नाम) चीन का हिस्सा है। जंगनन में वरिष्ठ भारतीय अधिकारी (अमित शाह) की गतिविधि से चीन की संप्रभुता का उल्लंघन होता है और यह सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में शांति के लिए अनुकूल नहीं है। अमित शाह का अरुणाचल दौरा इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि पिछले हफ्ते चीन ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश की 11 जगहों के नाम बदलने का एलान किया था। चीन अरुणाचल को जंगनान (दक्षिणी तिब्बत) नाम से बुलाता है और भारत ने उसके इस दावे का कड़ाई से विरोध करता है। किबिथू में अमित शाह ने 9 माइक्रो-हाइडेल प्रोजेक्ट्स का उद्घाटन किया। वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम के तहत, 4 राज्यों और एक केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में चीनी सीमा के पास बसे 2,967 गांवों को 4,800 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से विकसित किया जाएगा। इन गांवों को देश के बाकी हिस्सों से जोड़कर वहां आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। चीन क्या कहता है, या क्या करता है, यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण नहीं है। चीन अपने अन्य पड़ोसी मुल्कों को लेकर भी इसी तरह की बयानबाजी करता रहता है। हमारे लिए महत्वपूर्ण यह है कि हमारी सरकार चीन को किस अंदाज में जवाब देती है, और हमारे मुल्क में विरोधी दल चीन की बातों पर कैसे प्रतिक्रिया देते हैं। अगर चीन ने कहा कि उसने हमारे अरुणाचल प्रदेश के 11 गांवों के नाम कागजों पर बदल दिए, तो इससे जमीनी सच्चाई तो नहीं बदली। चीन का हमारे गांवों पर कब्जा तो नहीं हो गया। विरोधी दलों ने इसे बड़ा मुद्दा बनाया और कुछ लोगों ने तो यह दिखाने की कोशिश की जैसे चीन ने हमारे गांवों पर कब्जा कर लिया है। चीन द्वारा भारतीय गांवों के नाम बदलने के एक हफ्ते के अंदर ही अमित शाह अरुणाचल प्रदेश पहुंच गए और उनमें से कुछ का दौरा किया। एक ऐसे गांव में, जिसका नाम बदलने का चीन ने दावा किया था, अमित शाह ने सोमवार को खड़े होकर कहा कि ‘कोई एक इंच जमीन पर भी बुरी नजर नहीं डाल सकता।’ चीन अमित शाह की इस बात का मतलब समझता है। इसीलिए उसके विदेश मंत्रालय ने तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दी। चीन ने नाम बदलने की, हमारे गांवों पर दावा करने की कोशिश कोई पहली बार नहीं की है। लेकिन अब से पहले जब भी चीन इस तरह की हरकत करता था तो उसे यह कहकर खारिज कर दिया जाता था कि उसे छेड़ने से कोई फायदा नहीं होगा। अब वक्त बदल गया है। नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार की नीति मे झुकने की गुंजाइश नहीं है। इसीलिए अब देश के गृह मंत्री ने उसी जगह पर जाकर चीन को जवाब दिया, जिस पर वह दावा जता रहा है। ये बदले हुए भारत के तेवर हैं। यह भारत का चीन को करारा जवाब है।

रामनवमी के दौरान और उसके बाद पश्चिम बंगाल, बिहार, झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ़, हरियाणा और गुजरात में कई जगहों पर सांप्रदायिक झड़पें हुईं । यह चिंता की बात है । राष्ट्रविरोधी ताकतें सक्रिय हैं और वे सांप्रदायिक भावनाओं को भड़काना चाहती हैं। बिहार में बिहारशरीफ, नालंदा और सासाराम के बाद रविवार को जमशेदपुर (झारखंड), बेमेतरा (छत्तीसगढ़) और सोनीपत (हरियाणा) में झड़पें हुईं। बिहार में VHP और बीजेपी के नेता आरोप लगा रहे हैं कि पुलिस निर्दोष हिंदू युवकों को पकड़ रही है, जबकि उपमुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव ने हिंसा के लिए बीजेपी को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है। AIMIM सुप्रीमो असद्दुदीन ओवैसी का कहना है कि बिहार पुलिस सिर्फ मुसलमानों को पकड़ रही है, और मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार टोपी बदल-बदलकर इफ्तार में खजूर खा रहे हैं। यह सही है कि पुलिस को मामले की तह तक जाना चाहिए, अगर किसी ने साजिश रची है तो उसका पता लगाना चाहिए। लेकिन यह भी सही है कि सासाराम और बिहार शरीफ में रानमवमी के मौके पर हुई हिंसा के सैकड़ों वीडियो सामने हैं। किसने पत्थर फेंके, किसने आग लगाई, यह साफ दिख रहा है, इसलिए जब सिर्फ एक पक्ष के लोगों को पकड़ा जाता है और उनके नाम सार्वजनिक किए जाते हैं तो सरकार और पुलिस की नीयत पर सवाल उठना लाजिमी है। तेजस्वी यादव हों या नीतीश कुमार, उन्हें सियासत करने का, सियासी बयान देने का पूरा हक है, लेकिन उन्हें ये ख्याल रखना पड़ेगा कि वे अपनी पार्टी के नेता होने के साथ-साथ बिहार के मुखिया हैं, संवैधानिक पद पर हैं। इसलिए अगर वे जांच से पहले किसी एक पक्ष को जिम्मेदार ठहराते हैं, या इशारा करते हैं, तो इससे गलत संदेश जाता है। इसीलिए VHP ने बिहार सरकार की मंशा पर सवाल उठा दिए और केंद्रीय एजेंसी से जांच की मांग कर दी। दुख की बात ये है कि अब बिहार के पड़ोसी झारखंड में भी हिंसा की चिंगारी पहुंच गई। जमशेदपुर में एक मंदिर के धर्म ध्वजा में किसी ने मांस के टुकड़े बांध दिए। इस पर हिन्दू संगठनों ने नाराजगी जाहिर की और जब वे मंदिर में मीटिंग कर रहे थे, उसी वक्त पत्थरबाजी शुरू हो गई। हिंसा के भड़कने के बाद रैपिड ऐक्शन फोर्स को तैनात करना पड़ा। बीजेपी के नेताओं का कहना है ध्वजा के साथ मांस बांधकर भगवा झंडे का अपमान किया गया, लेकिन पुलिस अभी तक अपराधी को गिरफ्तार नहीं कर पाई है। छत्तीसगढ़ के बेमेतरा में बच्चों के बीच हुए झगड़े के बाद 2 घरों में आग लगा दी गई और भीड़ ने एक हिंदू नौजवान की हत्या कर दी। अब बीजेपी, VHP और बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ता विरोध मार्च निकाल रहे हैं। VHP के नेताओं का आरोप है कि छत्तीसगढ़ में अवैध रोहिंग्या मुसलमानों को बसाया जा रहा है। रोहिंग्या मुसलमान बंगाल, बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, दिल्ली, छत्तसीगढ़, महाराष्ट्र और यहां तक कि कर्नाटक और केरल तक फैल चुके हैं। यह बहुत चिंता की बात है। योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार ने पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में घर-घर सर्वे करवाया था और यह पता लगाया था कि किन इलाकों में अवैध रूप से रोहिंग्या रह रहे हैं। सबकी पहचान करने का काफी फायदा हुआ। मुझे लगता है कि अन्य राज्यों को भी इसी तरह का सर्वे कराना चाहिए, जिससे देश में रह रहे अवैध बांग्लादेशी और रोहिंग्या मुसलमानों की पहचान हो सके और उन्हें वापस डिपोर्ट किया जा सके।
केजरीवाल देश भर में ‘झाड़ू’ के निशान का इस्तेमाल कर सकेंगे
चुनाव आयोग ने सोमवार को आम आदमी पार्टी को एक राष्ट्रीय पार्टी के रूप में मान्यता दी, लेकिन तृणमूल कांग्रेस, CPI और NCP का दर्जा ‘राष्ट्रीय पार्टी’ से घटाकर ‘राज्य पार्टी’ कर दिया। ऐसा 2014 और 2019 के लोकसभा चुनावों और 21 राज्यों के विधानसभा चुनावों के दौरान राजनीतिक दलों के चुनाव प्रदर्शन की समीक्षा के बाद किया गया। किसी भी ‘राष्ट्रीय पार्टी’ को पूरे भारत में एक ही चुनाव चिह्न का इस्तेमाल करने का अधिकार होता है, इसके स्टार प्रचारकों की संख्या ज्यादा होती है, चुनाव प्रचार के लिए नेशनल मीडिया पर मुफ्त एयरटाइम मिलता है, और रियायती दर पर दिल्ली में दफ्तर के लिए जमीन मिल सकती है। भारत में अब केवल 6 राष्ट्रीय पार्टियां बची हैं: बीजेपी, कांग्रेस, सीपीएम, बीएसपी, AAP और नेशनल पीपुल्स पार्टी। ‘राष्ट्रीय पार्टी’ के दर्जे का छिन जाना NCP प्रमुख शरद पवार और TMC प्रमुख ममता बनर्जी के लिए करारा झटका है। यह खबर आने के कुछ देर बाद ही दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट कर इसे एक ‘चमत्कार’ बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस विचार का समय आ गया हो, उसे कोई नहीं रोक सकता। उन्होंने कहा कि AAP और भारत का वक्त अब आ गया है। दिल्ली, पंजाब, गोवा और गुजरात में राज्य पार्टी का दर्जा मिलने और विधानसभा चुनावों में 6 प्रतिशत से अधिक वोट मिलने के बाद AAP को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी की मान्यता मिलनी तय थी। तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री के. चंद्रशेखर राव की पार्टी ने आंध्र प्रदेश में राज्य पार्टी का दर्जा खो दिया है। KCR ने हाल ही में अपनी पार्टी का नाम तेलंगाना राष्ट्र समिति से बदलकर भारत राष्ट्र समिति किया था। यह कोई पहली बार नहीं है कि किसी को ‘राष्ट्रीय पार्टी’ का दर्जा मिला है, लेकिन केजरीवाल ऐसे दिखा रहे हैं कि जैसे अब वह कोई बड़ी राष्ट्रीय पार्टी चला रहे हैं। राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्जा मिलने से चुनाव के वक्त कोई बहुत ज्यादा फर्क नहीं पड़ता। केजरीवाल ने 2012 में आम आदमी पार्टी बनाई थी और उसे 11 साल बाद राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्ज मिला है। वहीं, NCP छोड़कर 2013 में नेशनल पीपुल्स पार्टी का गठन करने वाले पी. ए. संगमा की नेशनल पीपुल्स पार्टी को कई साल पहले ही यह दर्जा मिल चुका है, लेकिन देश में बहुत कम लोग NPP के बारे में जानते हैं। मेघालय में NPP की सरकार है और कोनराड संगमा मुख्यमंत्री हैं। इसके अलावा मणिपुर, नागालैंड और अरूणाचल प्रदेश में भी NPP राज्य स्तर की पार्टी है इसलिए इसका राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्जा बरकरार है। राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्जा मिलने से फायदा यह होता है कि दिल्ली में दफ्तर के लिए जगह मिल जाती है, और पूरे देश में पार्टी का चुनाव निशान एक ही होता है। इसलिए अब केजरीवाल देश भर में झाड़ू के निशान पर चुनाव लड़ पाएंगे।
AMIT SHAH GIVES A BEFITTING REPLY TO CHINA
Home Minister Amit Shah gave a strong message to China from the first frontier village of Arunachal Pradesh on Monday. He said, “the time is gone when anyone could encroach our land. Now not even an inch of our land (‘sui ki nok’ – needlepoint) can be encroached by anybody”. He was launching Vibrant Villages Programme at Kibithoo, India’s first village near the Line of Actual Control in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh. The Chinese foreign ministry reacted sharply, saying ‘Zhangnan (China’s name for Arunachal) is part of China’s territory. The activity of a senior Indian official (read Amit Shah) in Zangnan violates China’s territorial sovereignty, and this is not conducive to peace and tranquillity in border areas. Amit Shah’s Arunachal visit is significant because China had renamed 11 places of Arunachal in Chinese. China considers Arunachal as Zangnan (Southern Tibet), but India strongly opposes this claim. In Kibithoo, Amit Shah inaugurated nine micro-hydel projects. Under Vibrant Villages Programme, 2,967 villages near the Chinese border in four states and one UT, will be developed at a cost of Rs 4,800 crore. These villages will be connected to the rest of India with latest technology. What China says or does, is not important. China has been doing the same with other neighbouring countries too. The point that is significant for us is how our government responded to China. Also, how opposition parties in India react to Chinese claims. Even if China changed the names of 11 villages in Arunachal Pradesh on paper, the ground realities do not change. Changing names does not mean China has occupied our villages. There are opposition leaders who continue to allege that China has occupied our villages. Within a week of China changing the names of Indian villages, Amit Shah immediately flew to Arunachal Pradesh and visited some of them. One village, whose name China claims to have changed, was the place where Amit Shah stood on Monday and said “not an inch of land will be allowed to be grabbed”. China understands the meaning of Amit Shah’s speech. That is why, its foreign ministry immediately reacted. This is not the first time China has staked claim on Indian territory. It has been doing so in the past too. During earlier regimes, Chinese claims used to be downplayed saying there was no point in irritating China. Times have now changed. There is no scope for bowing in Narendra Modi’s policy. The very fact that India’s Home Minister goes to the same village whose name China changed, reflects India’s changing mood. India has given a befitting reply to China.
COMMUNAL CLASHES
Communal clashes took place in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Gujarat during and after Ramnavami. This is a matter of concern. Anti-national forces are active and they want to incite communal passions. After Biharsharif, Nalanda and Sasaram in Bihar, there were clashes in Jamshedpur(Jharkhand), Bemetra (Chhattisgarh), and Sonepat (Haryana) on Sunday. In Bihar, VHP and BJP leaders are alleging that police is rounding up innocent Hindu youths, while Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has blamed BJP for violence. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi claims that more Muslim youths have been detained instead of Hindus. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is busy visiting ‘iftaar’ parties. Bihar Police must investigate in depth and find out who the conspirators are. There are several hundred videos of violence in Biharsharif and Sasaram. These videos clearly show the stone throwers and youths indulging in arson. Tejashwi Yadav and Nitish Kumar have the right to make political remarks, but they should also understand that they hold Constitutional posts, and if they start pointing fingers at one community or outfit, it sends a wrong message and this can adversely affect police investigation. That is why VHP is demanding probe by a central agency. The pattern appears to be the same in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, too. Hindu leaders were holding a meeting inside a temple when stone pelting started. Rapid Action Force had to be deployed after violence spread. BJP leaders say, the saffron flag was insulted by tying meat with the flagpole, but police is yet to arrest the culprit. In Bemetara, Chhattisgarh, a quarrel between children flared up, two homes were set on fire, and a mob killed a Hindu youth. Now BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal workers are taking out protest march. VHP leaders allege that illegal Rohingya Muslims are being given shelter in Chhattisgarh. Rohingya Muslims have spread out to Bengal, Bihar, UP, MP, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. This is a worrying trend. CM Yogi Adityanath had carried out a door-to-door survey to identify Rohingya settlers in western UP. This has given good dividends. Similar surveys should be carried out by other states too. All illegal Rohingya settlers must be identified and deported.
KEJRIWAL CAN NOW USE THE BROOM SYMBOL ACROSS INDIA
The Election Commission, on Monday, recognized Aam Aadmi Party as a national party, but downgraded the status of Trinamool Congress, CPI and NCP from ‘national party’ to ‘state party’. This was done after a review of political parties’ poll performances during 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections and 21 state assembly elections. A ‘national party’ is entitled to use a single poll symbol across India, it can have more star campaigners, free airtime on national media for campaigns, and office space in Delhi at subsidized rate. There are now only 6 national parties in India: BJP, Congress, CPI(M), BSP, AAP and National People’s Party. The withdrawal of ‘national party’ recognition is a severe jolt for NCP chief Sharad Pawar and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. Within minutes, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted to say it was a ‘chamatkar’ (miracle). He said, no one can stop an idea whose time has come. AAP’s time and India’s time has come, he added. With AAP getting state party status in Delhi, Punjab, Goa and Gujarat, and getting more than 6 per cent votes in assembly polls, it was bound to get national party recognition. Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao’s party lost ‘state party’ status in Andhra Pradesh. It was KCR who had recently changed his party’s name from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samiti. This is not the first time any party has got ‘national party’ recognition, but Arvind Kejriwal is showing off as if he now controls a big party. ‘National Party’ status does not matter much during elections. In 2012, Kejriwal formed AAP, and it has acquired national party recognition after 11 years. Similarly, Late P A Sangma who left NCP in 2013 to form National People’s Party is, on paper, a ‘national party’ but few people across India know about it. NPP is the ruling party in Meghalaya and Conrad Sangma is the chief minister. It got national status because it has got ‘state party’ recognition in Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh too. As a national party, it is entitled to get land in Delhi at subsidized rate. Kejriwal’s party can now use the ‘broom’ symbol across India.
गांधी परिवार के बारे में गुलाम नबी आजाद का खुलासा
अपने जीवन के 50 बरस कांग्रेस को देने वाले ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने मेरे शो ‘आप की अदालत’ में गांधी परिवार के बारे में कई ऐसे बड़े खुलासे किए जो आप को हैरान कर देंगे। उन्होंने यह भी खुलासा किया कि 2004 में सोनिया गांधी ने प्रधानमंत्री बनने से क्यों मना कर दिया था। इस तरह के कुछ ऐसे अनसुने राज़ हैं, जो बरसों से लोगों के दिलो दिमाग़ में हैं। सब जानना चाहते हैं कि 2004 में सोनिया गांधी, प्रधानमंत्री बनते-बनते क्यों रह गईं? गुलाम नबी आजाद ने यह भी खुलासा किया कि सोनिया गांधी के इनकार करने पर कांग्रेस ने डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह को पीएम क्यों बनाया ? उस समय सोनिया गांधी ने किसी दूसरे पर भरोसा क्यों नहीं किया? प्रणब मुखर्जी का नंबर क्यों नहीं आया? गुलाम नबी आजाद ने एक और राज पर से पर्दा उठाया कि प्रियंका गांधी को राजनीति में आने से किसने रोका? क्यों, कांग्रेस में उनकी एंट्री देर से हुई, राहुल का नम्बर पहले क्यों आया? ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने इन सभी सवालों के जवाब दिए। उन्होंने पंजाब में कांग्रेस की बुरी हार के बारे में भी खुलासा किया। क्या नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने पंजाब में कांग्रेस को डुबोया? ऐसे सारे सवालों के जवाब गुलाम नबी आजाद ने ‘आप की अदालत’ में दिए। यह पूरा शो आप आज रात 10 बजे इंडिया टीवी पर देख सकते हैं।
इस शो में आपको इस सवाल का जवाब मिलेगा कि 2004 के चुनाव परिणामों के बाद ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने, DMK, BSP, LDF जैसे राजनीतिक दलों को सूचना दे दी थी कि सोनिया गांधी प्रधानमंत्री बनने वाली हैं पर आख़िरी मौक़े पर सोनिया गांधी ने पीएम बनने से क्यों इनकार कर दिया? आजाद ने पहली बार खुलासा किया कि सोनिया गांधी इसलिए डरी हुई थीं क्योंकि बीजेपी की कुछ महिला नेताओं ने उन्हें पीएम बनाए जाने पर उनका विरोध करने का फैसला किया था। आजाद ने यह भी खुलासा किया कि रायबरेली में अपनी मां के लिए प्रचार करने के बावजूद प्रियंका को सक्रिय राजनीति में क्यों नहीं लाया गया? आजाद ने यह भी खुलासा किया है कि प्रियंका ने आज तक कोई चुनाव क्यों नहीं लड़ा? जब सोनिया गांधी ने लोकसभा चुनाव के समय रायबरेली और बेल्लारी, दोनों सीटें जीत ली थीं तब भी ग़ुलाम नबी आजाद ने सोनिया गांधी को सुझाव दिया था कि वो बेल्लारी की सीट अपने पास रख लें और, रायबरेली के उपचुनाव में प्रियंका गांधी को उम्मीदवार बनाएं। प्रियंका उस वक़्त रायबरेली में सोनिया गांधी का काम संभालती थीं। लेकिन सोनिया ने बेल्लारी की सीट छोड़ दी और रायबरेली की सीट अपने पास रख ली। मैंने ग़ुलाम नबी से पूछा कि राहुल गांधी को इतनी तरजीह क्यों दी गई ? प्रियंका को राजनीति में आने में इतनी देर क्यों हुई? इस पर ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने जो बताया वो हैरान करनेवाला था। ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने साफ़-साफ़ कहा कि वो गांधी परिवार के बारे में बहुत कुछ जानते हैं लेकिन, परिवार की व्यक्तिगत बातें कभी किसी को नहीं बताएंगे। बहुत से राज़ ऐसे हैं, जो उनके साथ ही जाएंगे।
एक ख़ास बात यह रही कि कांग्रेस छोड़ने के बावजूद ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने सोनिया गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी की आलोचना नहीं की लेकिन राहुल गांधी पर उन्होंने बहुत तीखे हमले किए। वे मानते हैं कि राहुल गांधी ने कांग्रेस को कहीं का नहीं छोड़ा। ग़ुलाम नबी आज़ाद का कहना है कि राहुल गांधी किसी की नहीं सुनते। अगर कोई उन्हें सलाह देता है, तो राहुल कहते हैं कि तुम मोदी के आदमी हो। गुलाम नबी आजाद के साथ ‘आप की अदालत’ आज रात 10 बजे आप इंडिया टीवी पर जरूर देखें। अगर आप इस शो को मिस कर सकते हैं तो रविवार सुबह 10 बजे देख सकते हैं।
राहुल पर बरसे अमित शाह
उत्तर प्रदेश के कौशाम्बी और आजमगढ़ में रैलियों को संबोधित करते हुए गृह मंत्री अमित शाह राहुल गांधी पर जमकर बरसे। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल की सदस्यता उनकी अपनी गलती के कारण गई है। अमित शाह ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी विदेश में जाकर देश का अपमान करते हैं और जब माफी की मांग की जाती है तो कह देते हैं कि माफी नहीं मांगूगा। अमित शाह ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र खतरे में नहीं है, लेकिन परिवारवाद (गांधी) खतरे में है। अमित शाह ने कहा कि अगर कांग्रेस को मोदी के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़नी है तो खुला मैदान है। राहुल जगह और तारीख तय कर लें, बीजेपी का हर कार्यकर्ता दो-दो हाथ करने को तैयार है। राहुल गांधी के विदेशों में दिए बयान पर उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ ने भी तीखी टिप्पणी की। उन्होंने कहा कि कभी-कभी दुख होता है जब हमारे देश के कुछ लोग विदेश में जाकर देश के खिलाफ बोलते हैं। अमित शाह के भाषण से ये भी साफ हो गया है कि आने वाले चुनावों में बीजेपी राहुल के बयान को बड़ा मुद्दा बनाएगी। चुनावी सभाओं में भी राहुल गांधी से माफी की मांग की जाएगी लेकिन राहुल गांधी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में यह कह चुके हैं कि वो गांधी हैं सावरकर नहीं, और गांधी कभी माफी नहीं मांगता। अब कांग्रेस के सामने मुश्किल यह है कि इस मुद्दे पर उसके पास बीजेपी के इल्जामात का कोई जवाब नहीं है।

कांग्रेस के नेता यह मान चुके हैं कि अब मोदी को हराना पार्टी के अकेले की बस की बात नहीं है। मोदी से मुकाबला करना है तो विरोधी दलों को मिलकर लड़ना होगा। इसलिए अब कांग्रेस ने उसी दिशा में कोशिशें शुरू कर दी है। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे अब मोदी विरोधी मोर्चे के नेताओं से एक-एक करके फोन पर बात कर रहे हैं और अगले लोकसभा चुनाव में गठबंधन की संभावनाएं तलाश रहे हैं। खरगे ने बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार, तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन और शिवसेना (उद्धव) प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे से फोन पर बात की। इस मामले में दो रुकावटें हैं। पहला क्षेत्रीय दलों का अस्तित्व और दूसरा प्रधानमंत्री पद का चेहरा। असल में चाहे बिहार में जनता दल यूनाइटेड हो या आरजेडी हो, बंगाल में तृणमूल कांग्रेस, उत्तर प्रदेश में समाजवादी पार्टी या बहुजन समाज पार्टी, दिल्ली और पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी, तेलंगाना में केसीआर की बीआरस हो या फिर जो भी क्षेत्रीय पार्टियां हों, ये अपने अपने राज्यों में कांग्रेस का बेस खत्म करके ही मजबूत हुई हैं। इसलिए उन राज्यों में ये पार्टियां कांग्रेस को फिर से जमीन देंगी, इसकी गुंजाइश कम दिखती है। क्योंकि उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में अखिलेश यादव राहुल गांधी के साथ हाथ मिलाकर देख चुके हैं। उस वक्त मुलायम सिंह ने कहा कि अखिलेश ने बड़ी भूल की है और कांग्रेस के साथ जाना समाजवादी पार्टी के लिए घातक है। चुनाव नतीजों से मुलायम सिंह सही साबित हुए। दूसरी बात यह है कि ममता बनर्जी हों या नीतीश कुमार, वे राहुल गांधी को प्रधानमंत्री पद का दावेदार मानेंगे, इसकी उम्मीद भी कम है। क्योंकि दोनों भले ही न बोलें, लेकिन दोनों खुद को प्रधानमंत्री की कुर्सी का दावेदार मानते हैं। ममता तो खुलेआम कह चुकी हैं कि मोदी तो चाहते हैं कि उनके मुकाबले राहुल को पीएम प्रोजेक्ट किया जाए, इससे उनकी राह आसान हो जाएगी। इससे साफ है कि विपक्षी एकता की बात कितनी भी हो लेकिन जैसे ही कांग्रेस की लीडरशिप की बात आएगी तो एकता की बातें धरी रह जाएंगी। इसीलिए नीतीश कुमार फिलहाल इस चक्कर में नहीं पड़ रहे हैं। वे अपने वोट बैंक को मजबूत करने की कोशिश में लगे हैं। नीतीश इफ्तार पार्टी में जा रहे हैं और खुद भी इफ्तार की दावत दे रहे हैं।

AMIT SHAH’S BARBS AT RAHUL
In Kaushambi and Azamgarh, UP, on Friday, Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing rallies, lashed out at Rahul Gandhi saying that it was because of his own mistakes that he lost the Lok Sabha membership. Shah alleged that Rahul denigrated India’s image on foreign soil. He said, it was not democracy, but (Gandhi) dynasty which is under threat. Shah even challenged to fix a venue where BJP workers will be ready to ‘take on’ Rahul’s challenge. In Delhi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, without naming Rahul, expressed concern over Indian leaders spoiling the country’s image abroad. Amit Shah’s speeches give clear indication that BJP is going to make Rahul’s controversial remarks a big issue in the forthcoming elections. Rahul had said at a press conference that ‘I am not Savarkar, I am a Gandhi, and Gandhis do not apologize’. Congress leaders are caught in a fix. They do not know how to counter BJP’s attacks on this issue.
CONGRESS WANTS OPPOSITION UNITY
Congress leaders have acknowledged that the party alone cannot defeat Narendra Modi at the hustings, and only a united opposition can give BJP a tough fight. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is speaking individually to each opposition leader in order to forge an anti-Modi front. He spoke to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin and Shiv Sena (Uddhav) chief Uddhav Thackeray on phone. There are two big obstacles in the path of opposition unity. One, the existence of regional parties and Two, the unanimous projection of a face for PM’s post. Whether it is RJD and JD-U in Bihar, TMC in Bengal, SP and BSP in UP, AAP in Delhi and Punjab, BRS in Telangana, or DMK in Tamil Nadu, all these regional parties emerged after finishing off the base of Congress party in their respective states. There seems to be few chances of these parties giving some space to Congress in their states. In UP, Akhilesh Yadav is still ruing the day he decided to join hands with Rahul for elections. It was Late Mulayam Singh Yadav, who had then said that Akhilesh is making a mistake. Mulayam was proved right. Secondly, there is little chance of regional leaders like Mamata Banerjee or Nitish Kumar accepting Rahul Gandhi as the PM candidate. Both may not be saying so publicly, but consider themselves as strong contenders. Mamata has publicly said that Narendra Modi would prefer Rahul to be the opposition’s PM candidate, because this would make his victory easier. Much as the opposition leaders talk among themselves about unity, the moment the question of Congress crops up, all talks about unity end as a non-starter. Nitish Kumar has already realized this and he has already started nurturing his Muslim vote bank by attending iftaar parties during Ramzan in Bihar.
‘आप की अदालत’ में गुलाम नबी आज़ाद
डेमोक्रेटिक प्रोग्रेसिव आजाद पार्टी के प्रमुख गुलाम नबी आज़ाद, जिन्होंने अपने जीवन के 50 साल कांग्रेस में बिताए, इस हफ्ते ‘आप की अदालत’ में मेरे मेहमान थे । यह शो शनिवार को रात 10 बजे इंडिया टीवी पर प्रसारित किया जाएगा । शो में आज़ाद ने इस बात पर अफसोस जताया कि कैसे राहुल गांधी ने ‘मोदी को गाली’ देने की रणनीति अपनाकर 9 साल बर्बाद कर दिए । आज़ाद ने साफ-साफ लफ्ज़ों में कहा कि अगर राहुल गांधी ने अपनी रणनीति नहीं बदली, तो न वह कभी बड़े नेता बन पाएंगे और न कभी कांग्रेस सत्ता में वापसी कर पाएगी । उन्होंने कहा, ‘गाली देने से कोई नेता नहीं बन जाता । राहुल गांधी 9 साल से दिन रात सिर्फ प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को गाली देने में लगे हुए हैं । इससे कांग्रेस का भारी नुकसान हुआ ।‘ आज़ाद देश के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्रियों इंदिरा गांधी और राजीव गांधी के करीबी रहे । उन्होंने करीब 25 साल तक सोनिया गांधी के साथ काम किया । ‘आप की अदालत’ में उन्होंने इंदिरा, राजीव और सोनिया गांधी के साथ अपने रिश्तों के बारे में खुलकर बात की । आज़ाद ने शो के दौरान एक बड़ी बात कही । उन्होंने कहा, ‘अगर इंदिरा जी और राजीव जी दिन में 20-20 घंटे काम करते थे, तो क्या राहुल 24 मिनट भी काम नहीं कर सकते? इंदिरा, राजीव ने प्रधानमंत्री बनने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत की, लेकिन राहुल गांधी 24 मिनट भी काम नहीं करना चाहते । इस रफ्तार से काम करके राहुल नरेंद्र मोदी से नहीं लड़ सकते हैं क्योंकि वह 24X7 काम करते हैं।’ आज़ाद ने शो में कई खुलासे किए । उन्होंने कहा, ‘अगर राहुल गांधी ‘मोदी चोर हैं’ का राग अलापते रहे तो किसी का फायदा नहीं होगा।’ जब मैंने आज़ाद को याद दिलाया कि कांग्रेस में दिग्विजय सिंह जैसे और भी अनुभवी नेता हैं जो उनकी बातों से सहमत नहीं हैं, उन्होंने करारा जवाब देते हुए कहा, ‘अंदर से तो दिग्विजय सिंह भी मानते हैं कि राहुल कांग्रेस को डुबाने में लगे हैं पर उनमें यह कहने की हिम्मत नहीं है।’ दर्शकों के मन में उठ रहे तमाम सवालों के स्पष्ट जवाब ‘आप की अदालत’ शो में मिलेंगे।
2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए मोदी की सलाह
गुरुवार को बीजेपी के स्थापना दिवस समारोह में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को 2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव की तैयारी के लिए अपना ‘मंत्र’ दिया । संयोग से बीजेपी का स्थापना दिवस हनुमान जयंती के दिन ही पड़ गया, ऐसे में मोदी ने कार्यकर्ताओं से कहा कि हनुमान जी का ‘Can Do’ एटिट्यूड पार्टी के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत होना चाहिए । मोदी ने कहा कि जैसे हनुमान ने कठोर होकर राक्षसों का संहार किया, उसी तरह बीजेपी को भ्रष्टाचार और परिवारवाद जैसे राक्षसों के खिलाफ एक्शन लेने में नरमी नहीं बरतनी चाहिए । मोदी ने कहा, लोगों ने अभी से ये कहना शुरू कर दिया है कि 2024 में बीजेपी को कोई नहीं हरा सकता, लेकिन पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं को अति-आत्मविश्वास के कारण आत्मसंतुष्ट नहीं होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा, ‘हमरा लक्ष्य सिर्फ चुनाव जीतना नहीं बल्कि लोगों का दिल जीतना भी होना चाहिए।’ कांग्रेस का नाम लिए बिना मोदी ने कहा कि अंग्रेज किस तरह जनता को ‘गुलाम रखने की मानसिकता’ कुछ लोगों के जहन में बोकर के चले गए थे, और कुछ परिवारों ने बादशाही मानसिकता थोपने की कोशिश की। पीएम ने कहा, ‘2014 के बाद युग बदला, बादशाही मानसिकता का युग समाप्त हो गया । जनादेश न मिलने पर वे इतने निराश हो चुके हैं कि अब खुलकर ‘मोदी तेरी कब्र खुदेगी’ कहने लगे हैं।’ मोदी ने 2024 के चुनावों का एजेंडा सेट कर दिया है। वह भ्रष्टाचार और परिवारवाद को मुख्य मुद्दा बनाकर विपक्षी पार्टियों को घेरने जा रहे हैं। मोदी इस बात को समझते हैं कि विरोधी दलों के नेता उन्हें गाली देने में व्यस्त हैं, लेकिन इससे उनका कोई फायदा नहीं होगा। उन्होंने बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ताओं से घर-घर जाने और सोशल मीडिया के जरिए वोटर्स तक पहुंचने के लिए टेक्नॉलजी से जुड़ने के लिए कहा। बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ताओं को दी गई मोदी की सलाह पहले से ही बेकार के मुद्दों में उलझे विपक्ष के लिए भी अहम है।
लोकतंत्र के लिए दुखद दिन
संसद का बजट सत्र गुरुवार को हंगामे के साथ खत्म हो गया। दोनों सदनों में सामान्य रूप से एक दिन के लिए भी काम नहीं हो पाया। विपक्षी सांसदों ने संसद से विजय चौक तक ‘तिरंगा मार्च’ निकाला। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने आरोप लगाया कि सत्ताधारी दल ने कार्यवाही को रोक कर लोकतंत्र की हत्या की है। संसद के बजट सत्र में जो हुआ वह लोकतंत्र के लिए अच्छा नहीं है। पहले विपक्ष ने अडानी को मुद्दा बनाया और बिना पक्के सबूतों के मोदी पर इल्जाम लगाए। बीजेपी ने राहुल गांधी को घेरा और विदेशों में भारत का अपमान करने जैसी बात के लिए माफी मांगने को कहा । पहले दिन से ही साफ समझ में आ रहा था कि दोनों एक दूसरे की बात को दबाने के लिए, एक दूसरे को नीचा दिखाने के लिए अपना-अपना एजेंडा चला रहे हैं । इसका नतीजा यह हुआ कि बजट सत्र का ज्यादातर वक्त बेकार चला गया। इससे नुकसान किसका हुआ? जनता का। बर्बादी किसकी हुई? जनता के पैसे की । यह सही है कि सदन चलाने में ज्यादा जिम्मेदारी सरकार की होती है, इसलिए उसे बीच का रास्ता निकालना चाहिए था, लेकिन सरकार ऐसा करने में नाकाम रही। इस मामले में विपक्ष ने भी हद कर दी। 13 विपक्षी दलों के सदस्यों ने पूरे बजट सत्र में हंगामा किया और सत्र खत्म होने के बाद होने वाली स्पीकर की पारम्परिक चाय पार्टी में भी नहीं गए ।
GHULAM NABI AZAD IN ‘AAP KI ADALAT’
Democratic Progressive Azad Party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad, who spent 50 years of his life in Congress, was my guest this weekend in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. The show will be telecast by India TV on Saturday at 10 pm. In the show, Azad lamented how Rahul Gandhi wasted nine years by following ‘Abuse Modi’ strategy. Azad cautioned that if Rahul did not change his strategy, he would neither emerge as a tall leader nor will Congress return to power. ‘Nobody becomes a leader by abusing’, he said, and added, “Rahul Gandhi spent the last nine years only abusing Prime Minister Modi. This has badly hurt the Congress politically.” Azad has been a close adviser of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. He worked with Sonia Gandhi for nearly 25 years. In the show, Azad frankly spoke about his connections with Indira, Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi. One of his significant remarks was: ‘If Indira ji and Rajiv ji can work 20 hours daily, can’t Rahul work for even 24 minutes a day? Indira, Rajiv toiled hard to become prime ministers, but Rahul doesn’t want to work for even 24 minutes…At this rate Rahul can never give a fight to Narendra Modi who works 24×7.” Azad made several disclosures in the show. “Nobody will benefit if Rahul goes on saying ad nauseum that ‘Modi is a chor (thief)”, said Azad. When I told Azad that there are other senior leaders in Congress, like Digvijaya Singh, who do not agree with his views, and allege that Azad has become ‘Modi’s demolition man for Congress’, the veteran leader replied sarcastically: “Behind closed doors, even Digvijaya Singh agrees that Rahul is sinking the Congress ship, but he lacks courage in saying this openly.” The ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show will give viewers a clear image about questions that are hovering in their minds.
MODI’S ADVICE FOR 2024 LS POLLS
At the BJP Foundation Day celebration on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his ‘mantra’ to party workers on how to prepare for 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Since it coincided on Hanuman Jayanti, Modi told them that Lord Hanuman’s ‘can do’ attitude should be the source of inspiration for the party. The PM said, Hanuman exterminated demons, and BJP should not show any leniency in taking action against corruption and dynastic politics. Modi said, even though most of the people assume that BJP will win the 2024 LS mandate, party workers must not remain complacent due to over-confidence. ‘Our aim must not be to win elections, but to win the hearts of the people’, he said. Without naming Congress, Modi said, the British left behind a ‘slavery mindset’, and post-Independence, some families tried to impose dynasticism. ‘The scene changed after 2014 and the era of monarchy is over. Now when they failed to get people’s mandate, they have started cursing, ‘Modi teri qabr khudegi’’, the PM said. Modi has already set the agenda for 2024 polls. He is going to make corruption and dynasticism the main issues and corner opposition parties. Modi knows why opposition leaders are busy abusing him, but their efforts will not bear fruit. He asked BJP workers to visit each home, and take technological help while reaching out to voters through social media. Modi’s advice to BJP workers should also be a lesson to learn for the opposition, which is already entangled in pointless issues.
SAD DAY FOR DEMOCRACY
The acrimonious Budget Session of Parliament ended on Thursday with a discordant note, with both Houses unable to function normally even for a single day. Opposition MPs went out on a ‘tiranga (tricolour) march’ from Parliament to Vijay Chowk. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that it was the ruling party which ‘killed democracy’ by stalling the proceedings. Whatever happened during the budget session is not good for democracy. First, the opposition raised the Adani issue and levelled charges against Modi without concrete evidence. BJP cornered Rahul Gandhi demanding apology for denigrating India on foreign soil. It was clear from Day 1, that both sides were trying to suppress the other and were working on their own agenda. The result: most of the time during the budget session was wasted. Who were the ultimate losers? The people of India. Whose money went waste? People’s money. It is true that much of the responsibility in running both the Houses lies with the government, and it could have found out a middle path to reconcile issues, but the government failed. The opposition went to the extreme. Members of 13 opposition parties did not attend the Speaker’s customary tea party at the end of the session.
