Adampur air base : How Modi nailed Pakistan’s lies

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only repeated his warning to Pakistan to choose either between terrorism or annihilation, but also nailed Pakistan’s lies about inflicting damage on IAF’s Adampur air base. He reached India’s second largest air force station in a cargo plane C-30J Hercules aircraft.
The message was clear to the world. Adampur air base is intact and Pakistan’s claim of having destroyed our S-400 missile system was a white lie. While the PM addressed IAF and BSF jawans, on the background was shown S-400 missile system and Indian fighter jets. It was a LIVE Fact Check by none other than Modi.
Pakistan Air Force had been claiming that it had destroyed Adampur air base, but it turned out to be a lie. Modi said, all our armed forces displayed better coordination and worked to a strategy to inflict damages on the enemy. Pakistan’s several top air bases were destroyed, its missiles were shot down and the swarm of drones that Pakistan sent were destroyed.
Modi said, the world is watching Pakistan could not harm us even an inch. Our air bases are fully prepared and operational and our air defence structure is intact. Pakistan had been making fake claims for the last five days about Adampur air base. It is located hardly 100 km from the international border and top fighter jets like Rafale, Sukhoi-30, Mirage and MiG-29 jets are stationed there. Both Lahore city and Sargodha air base come within the striking range of jets stationed at Adampur air base. Sargodha is nearly 295 km away from Adampur.
On May 10, Pakistan air force had claimed that it launched missiles at Adampur air base causing heavy damage. On May 11 night, the Pakistani army spokesperson again claimed that PAF inflicted damages on S-400 defence system stationed in Adampur and Bhuj air bases. All these claims proved to be fake.
The entire world now knows that the Pakistani government and its army do not speak the truth. They only know how to manufacture lies. It is beneath contempt to comment on an army whose spokesperson describes a global terrorist as a moulvi (cleric) and deen ka sipahi (soldier of religion), whose generals lay wreaths and salute slain terrorists at their funeral and which uses video games to claim victories.
By landing at Adampur air base tarmac in an IAF transport aircraft, Modi told the entire world that nobody should remain under the false impression that Pakistan’s words can be trusted. Modi said, all our air bases are intact, our fighter jets are ready, our air defence systems are operational, and if Pakistan resorts to any misadventure, it will face annihilation.

Act of terror will be an act of war : Modi’s clear message

And now, a look at the devastations caused to Pakistan’s defence assets by India. News agency Reuters released pictures of Pakistan’s air bases secured from American private satellite company Maxar Technologies.
The first picture of Pakistan’s Bholari air base, located near Hyderabad, Sindh province, shows how the air force hangar was destroyed in IAF attack on May 10 morning. There are no details of how many Pakistani jets were inside the hangar.
The second satellite picture is of Shahbaz air force in Jacobabad, Sindh province. Pre-attack picture shows its hangar as intact but post-attack picture shows its hangar as completely destroyed. IAF had attacked this air base on May 9 night.
The third proof: IAF had attacked Sukkur air base in Sindh on May 10. Pre-attack picture shows the air base as intact, but post-attack satellite image shows heavy damage caused to the air bases.
Fourth proof: IAF attacked Pakistan’s highly protected Noor Khan air base on May 10 early morning. It is located near Pakistan Army headquarters in Rawalpindi and it provides air cover to the capital Islamabad. When IAF attacked, neither its air defence system worked nor its strategic assets sprung into action.
Fifth proof: IAF destroyed Mushaf air base near Sargodha. It is a strategic air base and there are strategic air assets located in that base. On May 10 morning, India attacked this airbase and our missile strafed the runway causing a huge crater.
Modi showed to the world the professional prowess of Indian armed forces, armed with latest technologies in modern day warfare. Questions are being raised by some as to why India agreed to an “understanding” to stop military acting.
I spoke to several defence experts. They said, IAF attack on Sargodha was the trigger point. This attack showed how far Indian missiles can cause havoc with pinpoint accuracy. Pakistan’s nuclear assets have been kept hidden near Sargodha.
The United States realized the gravity of the situation. American leaders know that Modi always walks the talk. Our PM had clearly told US Vice President J.D. Vance that India will attack more fiercely and there would be no limits to it.
US President Donald Trump realized that the conflict is going to escalate into a full-blown nuclear war and any nuclear conflict can cause death of millions of people. Trump himself wrote in his social media post that the US put pressure on Pakistan and conveyed to India that Pakistan was ready to stop firing and asked whether India was ready?
The Indian side replied that our fight is against terror, not against Pakistan. India clearly said, if Pakistan continued to support terror and attack India to protect its terror infrastructure, India would reply “bullets with shells”.
The ground reality is, Pakistan had no other option but to seek American help. Pakistan had no other option but to accept what the US advised. Pakistan may be dancing to China’s tunes even today, but it considers the US as its “mai baap” (guardian).
Narendra Modi gave a clearcut message. He showed a new path to the world on how to fight terrorists. I hope other countries suffering from terrorism will also follow this policy and consider every act of terror as an act of war.

Operation Sindoor : New Modi, New India, New Normal

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his hard-hitting address to the nation, has clearly outlined India’s policy towards Pakistan in the coming days and weeks. He announced India’s resolve to launch the biggest war on terrorism, while signifying a clear shift in India’s policies towards its neighbour. He said, “if there is a terror attack on India, a befitting reply will be given..on our terms only…We will not differentiate between the government that is sponsoring terrorism and the masterminds of terrorism…The world has again seen the ugly face of Pakistani, when top Pakistani army generals came to the funeral of terrorists killed under Operation Sindoor.” Modi also make it clear that Operation Sindoor is not yet over, it has only been halted. “The new normal”, he said, “is India will deal with every major terror act as an act of war and the army would be free to eliminate terrorists, even if they hide in their sanctuaries inside Pakistan”. The aim will be to crush the snake’s hood and defang its poisonous teeth. No territory inside Pakistan will be considered safe for terrorists. Nuclear blackmail to cover the acts of terrorists will not work anymore, Modi said. Clearly, from now on, neither the Line of Control nor the international border will be able to save the terrorists. The Indian armed forces will eliminate all terrorists by breaking all controls that had been placed till now. If any army comes in the path of our armed forces, they will rain hellfire on it, he warned. If Pakistan attacks one Udhampur air base, our air force will destroy several of their air bases. If Pakistan provides air defence cover to terrorists, our armed forces will destroy that air defence. Modi said, “If Pakistn wants to survive, it will have to destroy its terror infrastructure”. In a single speech, Modi conveyed a message to Pakistan at three different levels : military, political and psychological. All terror acts in future will get the same response. Modi also made it clear that there would be no talks on water or trade with Pakistan, nor any talks would take place to normalize relations. The only issues that India can discuss with Pakistan are only two: One, handing over of terrorists to India and Two, return of Pak Occupied Kashmir to India. This is the new resolve of New India. The entire nation stands solidly behind our valiant armed forces in fulfilling that resolve.

Indian and Pak armies : A Sharp Contrast

Today I heard comments of several American defence experts on the India-Pakistan conflict. Almost all of them agreed that the Indian armed forces are quite professional, while the Pakistani army deals mostly in mischievous activity. These experts said, most of the Pakistani generals are busy playing political power games, they carry on with their business, they are engaged in civil governance and do all other activity except doing the work of a professional army. I would like to say, there can be no comparisons between the Indian and Pakistani armies. Indian armed forces are run by trained officers, while the Army Chief of Pakistan incites his army by invoking religion. Our armed forces are transparent and their officers speak the truth, while Pakistani army generals are masters in speaking lies. We have seen this during the five-day-long conflict last week. The world has seen shocking evidence of how Pakistani army generals nurture and train jihadi terrorists. While Indian army works on eliminating terrorists, Pakistani army personnel are experts in killing unarmed, innocent people in cold blood in the presence of their wives, mothers and daughters. Indian army protects the nation’s unity and sovereign integrity. In the last few days, we have seen how our valiant armed forces destroyed drones, rockets and missiles given to Pakistan by China and Turkiye. Our armed forces taught Pakistani army a lesson by striking their air bases using BrahMos missiles. There can be no comparison between the two. India is proud of the valour and professional approach of its armed forces.

Pakistani army’s lies exposed, again

At a time when 11 Pakistani army bases were destroyed, more than 40 Pakistani soldiers and officers died in Operation Sindoor, hundreds of Pakistani drones and missiles were neutralized and more than 140 terrorists were killed by India, Pakistan army is shamelessly claiming its victory by morphing India TV video, using TV war game videos and making false claim about a dreaded terrorist being an Islamic cleric having kids. Hafiz Abdur Rauf, declared a global terrorist by US treasury department, was introduced by Pak army as a moulvi, who led the funeral prayers for terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor. The Pakistani spokesperson claimed that Rauf was a moulvi, a family man, has three daughters and his parents were teachers. The fact: Hafiz Abdur Rauf’s name is still there in US Treasury Department’s press release dated November 24, 2010. He has been named a member and financier of Lashkar-e-Taiba. India TV telecasted Rauf’s video in which he was giving a call for jehad to terrorists. Secondly, even Pakistan army’s DG, ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry’s father Sultan Bashiruddin was a nuclear engineer who left his job in 1999 and joined Al Qaeda. His father shared chemical, biological and nuclear info with Osama bin Laden and was declared a global terrorist by United Nations and the US in 2001. Thirdly, Pakistan army edited India TV’s live video from five minutes’ duration to only 27 seconds and posted on Pak government’s X handle to show that PAF has shot down an Indian fighter jet. PIB Fact Check said, the video was morphed through editing. The original India TV video showed how our air defence system shot down a Pakistani missile. Fourthly, Pakistan army used Arma-3, a tactical simulation shooter video game to make false claims. This shows the depths to which the desperation of Pakistani army has sunk. I am surprised how Pakistani generals do not even know that even a kid can catch such lies in this hi-tech age. What Pakistani army did was in response to the media briefings that our three directors general of army, air and navy operations addressed to show the losses inflicted on Pakistani air bases.

What forced Pakistan to pause military action ?

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PMWith guns, drones and missiles falling silent on the western India-Pakistan border, all eyes are now on the second DGMO-level talks that will take place on Monday evening. The 32 airports across northern and northwestern India that were closed on May 8 due to Indian and Pakistani air strikes, have been reopened on Monday. Srinagar, Chandigarh, Amritsar and all other airports in northern region are now open for civilian flights. In Mumbai Stock Exchange, Sensex recorded a steep rise by 2,925 points, touching 82,430 mark. No night time intrusions by Pakistani drones were reported on Sunday night all along the western border.
On Monday, the director general of air operations Air Marshal A K Bharti told media, “All our military bases, and systems continue to remain fully operational and ready to undertake any future missions should the need arise”. He recited a couplet from Ramcharit Manas “विनय ना मानत जलध जड़ गए तीन दिन बीति। बोले राम सकोप तब भय बिनु होय ना प्रीति’..” (When the sea refused to listen to Lord Ram’s prayer to make way for the vaanar sena to march to Lanka, the Lord became furious and threatened to dry up the sea, saying there can be no love without striking fear in the enemy).
The Air Marshal clarified that India’s main fight was against terrorists, but it was Pakistan which jumped in and attacked India by sending drones, missiles and shells. “Pakistan’s continued hostilities left India with no choice but to retaliate”, he said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the nation on Monday night at 8 pm.
The question now on everybody’s mind is: why was India’s counter-offensive halted? Why was Pakistani targets not pummelled anymore? Why India agreed to an understanding with Pakistan to halt military operations? On May 9, when tit-for-tat attacks were going on, US Vice President J.D.Vance rang up Prime Minister Modi, who told the American leader that India would reply to bullets with shells (goli ka jawaab goley se diya jayega). The same night, Pakistan attacked 26 locations inside India by sending drones and missiles. India retaliated by attacking all key Pakistani air bases causing big damage. Pakistan’s air defence systems were smashed and Indian missiles reached Chaklala air base near Rawalpindi, where Pakistan’s nuclear power command centre is located. Indian armed forces were given instructions to give a befitting reply to Pakistan.
US intelligence told its President Donald Trump that there were alarming signals that Indian missiles were now targeting Pakistan’s nuclear installations and India has a plan to carry out massive attacks on Pakistan. Donald Trump was told that Pakistani army chief has convened a meeting of Nuclear Command Authority and both India and Pakistan were going to engage in vicious attacks and counter-attacks during the weekend. Trump became active and he asked Vice President J D Vance to speak to both countries to stop escalation. Trump indeed apprehended of use of nuclear weapon as he later said “It was time to stop the current aggression that could have led to the death and destruction of so many, and so much. Millions of good and innocent people could have died!”
In order to bring Pakistan to a halt, Vance spoke to Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Gen Asim Munir. He then spoke to our NSA Ajit Doval. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stepped in. Rubio told India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar that Pakistan was ready to halt military operations and whether India was ready. Jaishankar told Rubio that the only way for firing to stop on the border was for the DGMOs of both countries to speak on the hotline. Pakistan DGMO’s first request came at 1 pm and our DGMO did not respond. At 3.35 pm, Pakistan DGMO rang up again and spoke to our DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai. It was decided that a understanding is hereby reached to stop firing and military operations. When this was conveyed to US President, Donald Trump immediately announced it on social media X. Trump gave the impression that a ceasefire has come into effect and it was brokered by the US. But India preferred to name it as an “understanding on DGMO level” only.
Meanwhile, Pakistan told US that it wanted to initiate talks with India to solve the Kashmir issue. When this was conveyed to India, it was clearly conveyed from our side that there was nothing left to talk with Pakistan, and if Pakistan wanted to return Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, then India was willing to talk. It was also conveyed by India that if Pakistan was ready to hand over all wanted terrorists to India, we are ready to talk. There was no other issue left to discuss.

Gen. Asim Munir cornered : Either stop attacks or face defeat

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PMIn a swift response, Indian armed forces on early Saturday carried out attacks on eight key Pakistani air bases in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Chunian, Sialkot and Pasroor radar site. Indian Air Force fighter jets used air-launched precision weapons to inflict maximum damage but ensure minimum collateral damage to civilian population. Army Col. Sofiya Qureshi said, the Pakistani targets included “technical infrastructure, command and control centres, radar sites and weapon storage areas across the border.”
Earlier, Pakistan Air Force attacked 26 locations including Indian Air Force stations in Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur and Bhuj, but these air bases sustained limited damage to equipment and personnel. Describing it as “a reckless move”, the spokesperson said, Pakistan targeted medicare centres and school premises located at IAF air bases in Srinagar, Awantipora and Udhampur. A high-speed missile launch was also attempted towards Punjab at 1:40 am, said Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
The army spokesperson said, Pakistan intensified shelling along Line of Control and international border, targeting Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri and Akhnoor. In Rajouri, Additional Deputy Commissioner Raj Kumar Thapa was killed and two of his assistants were critically injured when Pakistani shells fell on his official residence. Several civilians were injured in Pakistani attacks on Ferozepur and Jalandhar.
In Delhi, on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was briefed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, and all three service chiefs. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to Ajit Doval and Pakistani army chief Gen. Asim Munir on ways to de-escalate tensions immediately. India has made it clear that the onus of de-escalation falls first on Pakistan which initiated drone and missile attacks on Indian installations after India’s May 7 air strikes on terror hideouts inside PoK and Pakistan.
In Pakistan, the civilian leadership does not matter much. The onus is now fully on the Pakistani army chief Gen Munir. It is the Pakistani army chief who has to decide when to call off his drone and missile attacks and order a halt to artillery shelling in Jammu & Kashmir. The common people in Pakistan have seen through the fake information being spread by Pakistani army about inflicting losses on Indian army and air force, but on the ground, the situation is quite different. On Saturday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri showed pictures of most of the Indian air force bases intact despite attacks by Pakistan’s kamikaze drones. The cat is now out of the bag. Even China on Saturday appealed to Pakistan to exercise restraint and de-escalate the situation. The ball lies squarely in Pakistan’s court and their army chief has to take the call. Pakistan stands completely isolated and it has not received any support from either the US or China or the Middle East countries.

Pakistan’s propaganda war : fake claims busted

In a swift response, the government of India has debunked all fake claims being made by Pakistani army about the ongoing missile and drone attacks. Pakistan on Saturday claimed that a female Indian Air Force pilot Squadron Leader Shivangi Singh has been captured in Kotli in PoK. This was immediately described as fake news by Press Information Bureau of the Govt of India. PIB Fact check immediately responded saying that no Indian female pilot has been captured and the news was fake. Pakistan army and government have been recycling old photos and videos as latest ones about so-called losses to Indian said. Pakistani social media handles are presently hper-active making false claims about Indian losses like Indian Rafale and Sukhoi jets being downed and Indian pilots being captured. Pakistani media has been circulating these falsehoods as gospel truth. Top Pakistani officials and even ministers are busy promoting unverified and doctored content on social media.
On Friday, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri pointed out how Pakistan has been trying to give a communal hue to the ongoing attacks by alleging that India trying to target Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan. Misri described this as “deranged fantasy”. He revealed that Pakistani troops shelled a gurdwara in Poonch and some local Sikhs lost their lives in the attacks. Similarly, Pakistani troops fired artillery on a Christian missionary school injuring several students.
Pakistan is fastly losing the battle on the ground with its air defence systems smashed by IAF. This is the reason why it is resorting to a barrage of misinformation to misguide people in India. We should all be careful when we find such claims on social media. Our first step should be to ignore all such posts and we should not circulate or forward these posts in any manner.

How Pakistan’s missile, drone attacks were foiled by India

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)As the border conflict widened, Indian Army on Friday issued a release saying, “Pakistan armed forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along the entire Western border on the intervening night of May 8-9. Pakistani troops also resorted to numerous ceasefire violations along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. The drone attacks were effectively repulsed and befitting reply was given to ceasefire violations….All nefarious designs will be responded with force”.
To counter Pakistani drones, Air Defence units of the Army used advanced weapons like L-70 guns, Zu-23 mm systems, Schilka systems and Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) and S-400 ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ systems.
The Air Defence Umbrellas that IAF provided ensures that the population is safe. On Thursday night, Indian armed forces used CUAS (counter UAV system) – Zammer, Soft Kill, Hard Kill, Pechora surface-to-air missile, SAMAR (Quick reaction surface-to-air missile) and AD (air defense) guns. Indian Air Force responded in a measured and calibrated manner.
All enemy attacks were monitored by IAF through its integrated command control centre and the interceptions were carried out after studying drone routes and maps.
On Friday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the situation with Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan and all three service chiefs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is closely monitoring the developments on the border.
The manner in which Pakistan tried to attack our military installations using drones and missiles is a clear sign of its intent to launch a war against India. Such escalatory attacks will be effectively repulsed by our armed forces. Experts say, Pakistan is trying to test our air defence capabilities by sending such drones and missiles.
Pakistan has already been taught a lesson by our army through Operation Sindoor air strikes on terror hideouts. If it dares to start any fresh misadventure, it will get an effective response.

Pictures of generals at terrorist funerals : Pakistan’s lies nailed

The pictures of Pakistani army generals standing with other terror masterminds while attending the funerals of terrorists were displayed by Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Thursday at his press briefing.
These pictures clearly show that Pakistan’s army had been aiding, abetting and training terrorists to carry out attacks in India.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while briefing political parties at the all-party meeting, said at least 100 hardcore terrorists were killed in Indian strikes on terror sites inside Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor. Pakistan government and army giving “state funerals” to these terrorists clearly show the mess in which it finds himself while claiming before the world that Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism. Such claims have no basis.
Pakistan claims it has nothing to do with Pahalgam terror massacre, but the responsibility was taken by The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiyabba. When India sought to add the name of TRF in the UN Security Council resolution, it was Pakistan which objected to adding this name.
This nails Pakistan’s lie that it had no hand in Pahalgam killings. Pakistan had been claiming that it has no terror hideouts, but its Defence Minister Khawaja Asif himself admitted in a TV interview that Pakistan had been aiding and training terrorists since last three decades.
US President Donald Trump had said in 2018 that Pakistan was playing a double game in the name of fighting terrorism. His administration at that time had cut off US assistance to Pakistan. Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was found and killed by US SEAL commandos in Abottabad near the Pakistani army cantonment.
The terror hideouts that India destroyed on May 7 were located near Pakistani military bases and they were being guarded by Pakistani air defence systems.
When Indian armed forces destroyed this terror bases belonging to Masood Azhar, Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin, there was outcry in Pakistani military establishment. Indian armed forces have vowed to find out Masood Azhar, Hafiz Saeed and Salahuddin, presently hiding in Pakistani military safehouses. They will be hunted and justice will be delivered.

Operation Sindoor was a trailer : Picture Abhi Baaki Hai

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)A day of pride for India. A day of shame for Pakistan’s armed forces. Within a span of 25 minutes, our Army and Air Force destroyed terror targets in PoK and Pakistan by launching missiles and drones. The headquarters of terror masterminds Hafiz Sayeed and Azhar Masood were reduced to rubble, deep inside Pakistani territory. Azhar Masood lost his sister and nine other family members in the air strike. The codename ‘Operation Sindoor’ given to the air strikes by Prime Minister Modi, is loaded with meaning. It was Modi who could have given this name. This name touched the chords in the hearts of every Indian. It was Modi who could have taken big powers into confidence in advance to control the aftereffects of this action. Three persons were selected to brief the media. They mentioned the sins of Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar and Hizbul chief Syed Salahuddin. Visuals of air strikes on their HQs and camps were shown and explained. It was Modi only who could have planned these nitty-gritties. India has avenged Pahalgam killings. A clear message was sent to Indian sisters and daughters about how the headquarters of terror masterminds were reduced to rubble. None from across the world came to weep for Pakistan. I have seen many Prime Ministers in my long career, but no Prime Minister could summon such courage to take action against terror. None of the past PMs managed to avenge the killings of our citizens in this manner. One of my friends from Goa sent me this famous Raaj Kumar dialogue: “Hum tumhen maarengey, zaroor marengey, lekin woh bandook bhi hamari hogi, goli bhi hamari hogi, aur Waqt bhi hamara hoga. Bus zameen tumhari hogi” (I shall definitely kill you, but in my own time, with my own gun and my own bullet. Only the place shall belong to you). ‘Mullah’ Gen. Asim Munir and his pet terror masterminds have now realized, what happened post-midnight was only a trailer. Picture Abhi Baaki Hai. I have watched the spokesman of Pakistan army and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif speak post-Indian air strikes. They were giving threats to India. They were counting the number of Indian fighter plans that were supposedly downed by Pakistan. One should ask them, if Indian Air Force did not cross into Pakistani air space, how were they shot down? Where did the planes fall? Pakistan’s army generals and leaders will continue to make false claims and give excuses to save their skin. We in India should not bother, neither about their claims nor their overt threats. They must keep this in mind. Our armed forces have inputs about 20 terror camps inside Pakistan, out of which only nine were destroyed. The remaining terror camps may be destroyed soon. The addresses of targets have been written on the missiles. They can be delivered anytime now.

Pak army has no inkling about Indian army’s prowess

Pakistan’s army is presently in a state of shock and awe. Gen Asim Munir failed to understand how Indian missiles and drones entered 100 km deep inside Pakistan and his army did not have a whiff about this attack. How his air defence system failed. Gen Munir is deeply worried about this major gaffe. The terror hideouts that were destroyed were located in high-security zones. Prime Minister Modi had said in advance that our armed forces would strike in a manner that Pakistan would never imagine. Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar and Syed Salahuddin’s headquarters were closely guarded by Pakistani army near cantonments and in congested residential localities. Pakistan expected that many civilians would die in Indian attacks, but the precision bombs fell only on terror camps. The bombs inside the basements and rained horror. Pakistan’s air defence systems were supposed to be strong near these nine sites. Yet our Air Force missiles and drones entered deep inside and struck. These targeted attacks have unnerved Pakistan. The attacks clearly show that the Pakistani generals have no idea about the efficiency and operational capabilities of Indian armed forces.

Killing civilians : Pakistan’s cowardly act

A rattled Pakistani army resorted to shelling using D-130 howitzers, 155 mm guns and rocket launchers to attack civilians in Poonch, Rajouri, Balakote, Mendhra, Mankote, Krishna Ghali, Gulpur, Kerni and Naushera on Tuesday night. Twelve villagers were killed. They included four kids, while 57 civilians were injured. Our army is giving a strong reply to the enemy. Attacking civilians near the border is a cowardly act. While India destroyed terror hideouts, Pakistan attacked innocent civilians on our border. This is shameful. Till now, Pakistan army had been using terrorists to kill civilians, but now the army itself has started killing our civilians. Pakistani army will have to bear the consequences.

Operation Sindoor : How India hit back at Pakistan

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)In meticulously planned post-midnight air strikes, Indian army and air force destroyed 21 terror camps including the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiyyaba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, within a span of 25 minutes in nine towns of Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. There were no casualties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who monitored the attacks live from his residence, met President Droupadi Murmu and briefed her about the air strikes, codenamed Operation Sindoor. All all-party meeting will be held on May 8 to brief leaders of political parties. Addressing a press conference, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri alongwith Army Col Sophia Qureshi and Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh shared details about the operation that began at 1.05 am and ended at 1.30 am. They said, the air strikes were conducted based on specific intelligence inputs and the targets were so chosen as to avoid collateral damages to civilian buildings.

The headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiyaba, named Markaz Taiyaba, and the HQ of Jaish-e-Mohammed, named Markaz Subhan Allah were destroyed in Muridke and Bahawalpur respectively. Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar’s sister and brother-in-law were reportedly among the 10 members of his family who were killed in the attack. Other terror camps that were destroyed included the Sarjal camp in Sialkot that acted as a launchpad for terrorists, Maimoona Zoya camp near Sialkot belonging to Hizbul, Markaze Ahle Hadith in Barnala(PoK), Markaz Abbas of Jaish in Kotli (PoK), Shawai Nullah camp of Lashkar in Muzaffarabad (PoK).

SCALP cruise missile and HAMMER precision guided bombs were used to destroy terror camps, according to reports. At the press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri pointed out that there was nationwide anger and grief when Pakistani terrorists killed 26 terrorists in Pahalgam in the presence of their female family members. He said, the main aim of the handlers was to create communal tension in the country. India decided to take action against the handlers of terrorists after Pakistan refused to take any action for two weeks post-Pahalgam killings.

Defence experts say Pakistan army has no other viable options now, and if it decides to commit fresh blunders like targeting Indian dams on Jhelum and Chenab rivers, it will have to face grave consequences. Any misadventure by Pakistan will be its last blunder.

India’s war against terror : Pakistan in fear mode

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.47 PM (1) For the first time since the 1962, 1965 and 1971 wars, India will witness nationwide security drills on May 7, as tension mounted on the India-Pakistan border, post-Pahalgam attack. During this drill, air raid warning sirens will be followed by blackout in cities and towns. Vital plants and installations will be camouflaged in the face of enemy air attacks. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chalking out plans to strike at handlers of terrorism in Pakistan, in his meetings with National Security Adviser, Defence Secretary, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy chiefs. Pakistan’s political leaders and army generals are now in fear mode. One can assess this by watching the ongoing debate in Pakistan National Assembly, where leaders from almost all mainstream parties questioned how the army plans to meet India’s challenge. Even maulanas outside Lal Masjid are questioning whether Pakistan’s army can face India’s onslaught. Pakistan army chief Gen Asim Munir has been cornered. He and his generals are parroting the line that any action by India will get a strong and forceful response. But these bravados are only meant to boost the morale of its soldiers and people. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s diplomats have been busy seeking intervention from the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Middle East nations, but till now, they are yet to get firm assurances.

How Modi hit at Pakistan where it hurts most

Post-Pahalgam attack, people in Pakistan believe that the entire issue relates to terrorism and it has nothing to do with religion. Pakistan’s political and military leadership wants to hide its brutal act in Pahalgam behind the facade of religion. Pakistanis know that Narendra Modi will not leave the perpetrators unpunished and Pakistan’s army does not have the capability or determination to face india’s challenge. Pakistan Air Force had to abruptly cut short its war exercise because of lack of funds and weapons. Forget defence equipment, Pakistan’s government does not have money even to feed its poor, if IMF refuses to release more tranches under the $8 billion loan assistance. India, on its part, has decided to obstruct Pakistan’s plea for IMF loan. India has changed its executive director on IMF board and has made it clear that since Pakistan is aiding and abetting terrorists, it must not be given IMF assistance. IMF board is due to meet on May 9 to decide on Pakistan’s proposal and India’s vote in this meeting will be vital. On Monday, India stopped Chenab water flow from Baglihar and Salal dams resulting in water shortage in Pakistan. Though the gates of these dams were reopened after 11 years, it cause a huge scare in Pakistan. Till now, under the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan had been getting abundant water from Indus, Chenab and Jhelum rivers. These three rivers are the lifelines of Pakistan, because the neighbouring country gets 80 per cent of its drinking water from these three rivers. But India exercises 100 per cent control on water flow from these rivers. If India stops water from Indus, Chenab and Jhelum, Pakistan’s agriculture sector will be smashed. This sector grows wheat, paddy, cotton, mustard and other crops. 45 per cent of people in Pakistan work in the cotton sector. A civil war-like situation mayt develop if farmers are deprived of water from Indus system.

Why Congress is making a mockery of itself?

Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai mocked the Centre by brandishing a Rafale toy jet plane tied with ‘nimbu-mirchi’ (lemon-chillies) at a press briefing. He attacked the Modi government for not taking action against Pakistan post-Pahalgam attack. He said, “They bought Rafale jets, but they are lying in hangars with chillies and lemong tied to them. When will the government take action against terrorists and their handlers?” This video was soon circulated in Pakistani media, and its anchors made fun of India. BJP leaders condemned Ajay Rai for mocking India’s Rafale jet fighters. I am surprised that despite Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge promising at the all-party meeting to support Modi government for taking action against Pakistan, their party leaders are making a mockery of this commitment. What Ajay Rai did was a shameful act, He was questioning the fire power of our armed forces. On one hand, Pakistan’s leaders and army generals literally fear Rafale jet fighters acquired by India, and here is a senior Congress leader displaying a toy plane to mock our Air Force. It clearly displays the thinking of Congress leaders behind the veneer of patriotism. I hope, Rahul Gandhi realizes public sentiment. He must have also realized that he commited a mistake in 2019 when IAF struck in Balakote, deep inside Pakistan, to destroy a terrorist hideout post-Pulwama killings. Rahul had at that time questioned Indian Air Force’s claim. It is difficult to comprehend how Congress leaders make irresponsible statements despite clear directions from the party high command to be careful while commeting on the present situation.

For Pakistan, Modi’s silence signals a lull before the storm

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.47 PM (1) India on Saturday banned all direct and indirect imports from Pakistan. It also banned entry of all Pakistan-flagged ships to its ports. Even mail and posts from Pakistan have been stopped. A day earlier, Indian Air Force jets conducted a flypast and landing drill on Ganga Expressway near Shahjahanpur, UP, while the Indian Navy conducted exercises in the Arabian sea. Army troop movements continue on the border of Rajasthan and J&K. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed rallies in Kerala and Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) but he did not mention Pakistan. It was Nara Lokesh, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s son, who told the rally that India has “a huge NaMo missile” and Pakistan will be taught a lesson. Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership is presently on tenterhooks, and keeping a careful watch on Indian activity. People living on the Pakistan side of LoC and international bordere have been asked to stock food and water for a month. On Saturday, Pakistan tested its Abdali ballistic missile with a range of 450 km. Pakistan’s ministers are a confused lot. They do not know what to say and what to do to prevent Indian attack. While some ministers are threatening nuclear attacks, others are sending messages of peace. The ground reality is: both the Pakistani leaders and army know the might and capability of Indian army and they are scared. They are also foxed by Modi’s studied silence. For them, Modi’s silence signals a lull before the storm.

Muslims denounce Pakistan : How Asim Munir’s gambit failed

Renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar has said, India should now attack Pakistan and show no mercy. He described Pakistani Army Chief Gen Asim Munir as insane. “No mercy should be shown to him”, he said, adding, “the time has come to teach Pakistan a lesson it will remember forever.” Throughout India, after Friday prayers, lakhs of Muslims came out of mosques to denounce the Pahalgam killings. Hurriyat Conference chief Mir Waiz Omer Farooq, while addressing the Friday congregation at Srinagar Jama Masjid, wept. He said, “the brutal attack in Pahalgam is a blot on humanity and a sin in the eyes of Islam…Such killers must be hunted and killed”. It was Gen. Asim Munir’s plan to provoke confrontation between Hindus and Muslims in India. The killers deliberately asked the names and religion of the victims, before they were shot. Some of the killers forced victims to read the ‘kalma’ (Islamic verse) to check whether they were Muslims or not. They did not touch women because they wanted to convey their message to the world through them. This heinous act was part of a well-planned conspiracy. But the Hindus and Muslims of India foiled this plot. Voices are emanating from mosques in India against Pakistan and leaders like Omar Abdullah, Asaduddin Owaisi and Umar Farooq are denouncing Pakistan. The message has gone to the whole world. This is India’s first victory in the ongoing battle.

Classic : How Modi silenced Rahul on Adani issue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, took a dig at Congress-led INDIA bloc while inaugurating the deepwater Adani sea port in Vizhinjam. Present on the dais were Kerala CM P. Vijayan, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, other CPI-M and Congress leaders and Adani group chairman Gautam Adani. Modi said, “I would like to say to our CM (Vijayan), a strong pillar of INDI alliance and Shashi Tharoor sitting here..Today’s event here will give sleepless nights to many people.” Chief Minister Vijayan praised Adani group for building this sea port. Modi said, Left leaders and Congress MP praising an industrialist depicts the picture of a New India. Modi then turned towards Gautam Adani and said that the people of Gujarat would feel unhappy because he has not built a similar port in Gujarat. Gautam Adani’s son Karan Adani, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ, told India TV correspondent Nirnay Kapoor that after Vizhinjam port becomes fully operational, transportation costs of goods being exported by and imported to India will be reduced by 30 to 40 per cent. Everybody knows whom Modi was targeting. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had been speaking ad nauseam against Adani for the last 10 years. He had been alleging that Modi gave away ports, airports and power projects to his friend Adani. Rahul had gone to the extent of alleging that Adani did not work at all, but only took advantage of his friendship with Modi. Gautam Adani never spoke a word against Rahul Gandhi. Modi also remained silent. Congress media cell tried its best to tarnish Modi’s image because of Adani. Today, Modi squared up the account. He showed to the world that a Left Front government not only worked with Adani to build a new India, but its chief minister also praised Adani. Modi showed he had nothing to hide. The deepwater sea port that Modi inaugurated at Vizhinjam is a world class port. It is nothing short of a miracle and a big milestone for India’s infrastructure. Not only Kerala, but the whole of India will benefit from this port.

Modi will take action : Timing will be ours, target will be ours

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.47 PM (1)Even as tension continued along the Line of Control post-Pahalgam killings, Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing an event on Thursday, vowed revenge saying, “chun-chun kar jawab dengey”. Shah said, “none of the killers and their handlers will be spared and we will uproot terrorism from every inch of this land”. Meanwhile, Indian Navy conducted a war exercise in Arabian Sea. One thing is crystal clear now. This is the time to take action. This is not the time to show evidence to Pakistan. This is the time to crush the killers and their handlers. The question is: Is Gen. Asim Munir the mastermind behind Pahalgam killings? Were the killings done on his orders? Why did Gen Munir committ this sin? Experts point out that Gen. Munir and his generals had been facing flak for sometime now with Pakistani Taliban committing mayhem on the border with Afghanistan and Balochistan separatists carrying out attacks. More than a thousand Baloch people have been killed by Gen Asim Munir’s army. Yet, the situation in Balochistan is out of control. Some say that Gen Munir wants to downplay rebellion in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa by raising the Kashmir issue. In his speech last week, Gen Munir had described Kashmir as India’s weak vein and he raised the Hindu-Muslim divide issue also. It, therefore, seems logical that Gen Munir, in order to divert attention, ordered the brutal killings of innocent tourists in Pahalgam. By attacking the soul of India, Gen Munir has committed a sin for which he will have to pay a heavy price. Time has come to eliminate those killers and their handlers who shot innocent Indians in cold blood after ascertaining their religion. Prime Minister Modi has already said, none can imagine the type of punishment that will be meted out to the killers and their handlers. The world knows, Modi never flinches when he takes bold decisions. There will be action, at the right time, and decisive.

Pakistan or Jhootistan?

Pakistan’s army is engaged in fake propaganda and has become the laughing stock before the world. On Thursday, Pakistan Air Force released a video of its fighter jets destroying targets, PAF officers working inside a war room, but moments after the video was posted on social media, twitterati pointed out that most of tthe contents were not original. The video had several fake reels. It contained visuals from Elon Musk’s SpaceX and also visuals of S-300 missile defence system and drones that belong to Turkiye. Even some video war games scenes were added to prepare the PAF video. To boost the morale of its troops, Pakistan Army released visuals of its army chief Gen. Asim Munir standing atop a tank at Tilla fire range, addressing his men. Gen Munir had vanished from official view after the National Security Council met. Pakistan army’s desperate measures to keep the morale of its troops high has now become the butt of jokes. A Pakistani digital creator and journalist Aaliya Shah pointed out that Pakistani troops were singing the Bollywood song “Teri Mitti Me Mil Jaawa” from the hit movie “Kesari” to keep their ‘josh’ high. She was telling Pakistani troops to at least sing Pakistani songs at this crucial time. Interestingly, on Thursday, Pakistan government banned all Indian songs from its FM radio stations. The ground reality is: Pakistan army generals have started losing respect of the commoners because of a media report that most of the top generals have sent their family members to London and Dubai to keep them safe. Though this report is yet to be confirmed, one must admit that in matters of humour, Pakistanis are always ahead.

Modi gives Forces a free hand : Panic in Pakistan

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.49 PM (1)Decks have been cleared for the armed forces to decide on the timing, targets and mode of response to Pakistan post-Pahalgam killings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the armed forces complete operational freedom. On Wednesday, the Cabinet Committee on Security and Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs met to take necessary action. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat met the Prime Minister on Tuesday night and discussed the situation. Late after midnight, Pakistan’s Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, quoting “credible intelligence” said Indian military action was expected anytime within the next 24 to 36 hours. Let me point out one thing here: Nobody should be surprised over Modi giving full freedom to the armed forces to take military action. Modi always walks the talk. He had clearly said, Pakistan will have to pay a big price for the barbaric attack that took place. Remember Modi’s words. He had said, “From the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world India will identify and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth.” It is this courage and conviction that makes Modi different from other leaders. Earlier, prime ministers used to think about the pros and cons of any military action and used to prevaricate. But Modi’s track record is different. He speaks out clearly and asks the army to take the fight into enemy’s territory. The days of providing credible proof to Pakistan are over. The need for diplomatic niceties is no more required. Pakistan will be given a reply in its own language. Modi has said, the enemies of nation will be razed to the ground. The time has now come. Leaders of Pakistan understand this. Pakistan’s political and military leadership knows that they have little time left.

Why is Pakistan desperate and isolated

Pakistan is frantically seeking support from Saudi Arabia, UAE, China, Britain, Turkiye and Azerbaijan, but has managed to get assurances from only two countries : China and Turkiye. Other countries, including the USA, are hedging and unwilling to help. Pakistan’s Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar told the Senate that Pakistan will not strike first, but would respond if attacked. There are calls from senators to release former PM Imran Khan from jail and ask him to join the all-party meeting. Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Mariam Nawaz, chief minister of Punjab, said, India may attack anytime, but Pakistanis need not fear because they have nuclear bombs. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement that Pakistan had been nurturing terror groups for the US and UK since several decades has caught the government on the wrong foot. Pakistani senators are openly praising Modi’s diplomacy. One senator Raja Nasir Abbas said, the entire world today stands with India and Pakistan stands isolated. Though the ruling alliance is trying to cover up the damage caused by this remark, Pakistani senators have taken Indian military attack as a fait accompli. On Tuesday, some of the senators tried to desperately seek the support of Indian Muslims in their speeches. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi promptly responded saying, Indian Muslims keep Pakistan “on the toe of their shoes”. Owaisi said, Pakistan will have to pay the price for singling out Hindus for killings in Pahalgam and every Indian would support Modi for his action against Pakistan. What Owaisi said reflects the sentiment of Indian Muslims. The two-minute silence observed during Friday prayer at Srinagar Jama Masjid sends a clear message. Maulanas have said, killing people by singling them out for their religion is anti-Islamic. For the first time, Pakistanis are noticing both Hindus and Muslims raising their voice together and demanding action against terrorists. This is a warning for Pakistan.

Congress should learn from Omar and Owaisi

On Tuesday, the Congress party made a blunder by posting a sketch on its official X handle showing a headless man, without arms and legs. On it was written “Zimmedari Ke Samay Gaayab!”. The sketch was aimed at Modi. It was immediately retweeted by former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhry and other Pakistanis. BJP denounced Congress for this sketch. By late evening, the Congress Party deleted its tweet. One thing must be crystal clear: India stands united in its battle against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Both Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge had promised at the all-party meeting that the Congress party would support any action taken against Pakistan. Everybody had praised Congress for its stand. Soon afterwards, some Congress leaders like Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Maharashtra Congress leader Wadettiwar and Gandhi family son-in-law Robert Vadra made remarks that were picked up by Pakistan. Congress then officially issued a statement saying that what Rahul Gandhi and Kharge said was the official stand of the party. But the sketch posted on Congress party’s X official handle raised a fresh controversy. When BJP raised questions, Congress leaders slyly remarked that the party did not mention Modi’s name in the sketch. This is nothing but doublespeak. Congress is saying something and doing something else. Congress party must understand that Pakistan is taking undue advantage of such remarks. At a time when the entire nation is shocked and angry over the killings of innocent people, what was the need for Congress to go to such an extent? It is also true that some BJP leaders overreacted and described Congress as “Pakistani agents”. Such remarks should be avoided. At a time of crisis, we must remain united. Congress leaders should learn from Omar Abdullah and Asaduddin Owaisi. They should know what to speak when enemies of the nation are active.

Why Pakistan’s nuclear threat is hollow

WhatsApp Image 2025-04-29 at 3.16.47 PM (1) At a time when the entire nation, in one voice, wants action against Pakistan for the Pahalgam massacre, some leaders in the neighbouring country are threatening use of nuclear weapons. Giving nuclear threats has been a favourite pastime of Pakistani leaders. During the Kargil conflict, the then Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Shamshad Ahmed had once saids his country would use any weapon in its arsenal to defend the borders. At that time, American intelligence agencies had also indicated that Pakistan could use nuclear weapons, but nothing of the sort happened. In 2006, after the terror attack in Uri, Pakistan’s then Defence Minister Khawaza Asif had said that if his nation’s security was threatened, it would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons. Indian army carried out surgical strikes soon after, but no nuclear weapon was used. In 2019, when CRPF jawans were martyred in a suicide attack by terrorists in Pulwama, the then Pakistani PM Imran Khan had said, “can we take the risk of miscalculation given the weapons that we and India have?” Now, Pakistan has again started issuing threats to use nuclear weapons and missiles, but the Indian army and its intelligence agencies know the reality behind such hollow threats. Defence experts say, Pakistan’s nuclear threats do not carry much weight, its economy is in a bad shape, and the army does not even have adequate funds for movement and deployment of troops and weapons. Pakistan’s former Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa once told a gathering of select newspersons that his army can fight a war for only three days, because it does not have adequate diesel for movement of tanks. Pakistan’s financial crisis is no secret. It neither has money, nor the grit to fight a war. On the other hand, the might and capability of Indian armed forces have increased tremendously over the last 10 years. On Monday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, the ‘josh’ is high and all the three wings of armed forces are ready. The forces are now waiting for a green signal from Prime Minister Modi.

Congress leaders must not play into Pakistan’s hands

The Congress party on Monday issued a statement saying, “some Congress leaders have been speaking to the media (on Kashmir and Pakistan). They speak for themselves and do not reflect the INC’s views. There should be absolutely no doubt whatsoever at this most sensitive of times that the Congress Working Committee resolution, the views expressed by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Shri Rahul Gandhi and the views of authorised AICC office bearers ALONE represent the position of the INC.” Why did the Congress issue this statement? It was because Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah had said on Saturday that he was “not in favour of a war with Pakistan”. When Pakistani news channels picked up his remark, Siddaramaiah clarified saying, “I did not say there should be no war…War should be a nation’s last resort – never the first, nor the only option. Only when every other means to defeat the enemy has failed, should a country be compelled to go to war”. Maharashtra Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar on Monday incredulously remarked, “Do terrorists have time to check the religion of victims before killing?” Soon, Pakistani media picked up his remark. Congress leaders soon realized the blunders that they committed after watching public reaction. Those who said there must be no war, realized how angry people in India are over the brutal Pahalgam killings. Some leaders said, India should not attack Pakistan because Pakistanis who are unhappy with their army, will become united and make the army stronger. They have now realized their mistake. Gen. Asim Munir wants this to happen. The theory that if war starts, it will unite Pakistan, is an old one. Had the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee cared about this, India would never have carried out the nuclear tests in Pokharan, due to fear of sanctions. The bogey of India being isolated was shown at that time. Had Modi cared about world opinion, he would neither have ordered surgical strikes or air strikes. The world order has changed and thinking on old lines won’t work. We should leave it to the Prime Minister on what to do, how to do and when to do. We must not bother about Pakistan’s threats at all.

One Nation, One Voice : Action must against Pakistan

The entire nation, in one voice, wants a strong and quick response from India to avenge the Pahalgam killings. All political parties and all religious leaders have given their full support to the Prime Minister on this issue. Jammu & Kashmir assembly on Monday passed a resolution calling for action against the enemies of humanity. National Conference, Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP, Left parties and Hurriyat leaders wanted Pakistan should be taught a lesson. Dr Farooq Abdullah, who normally favours a dialogue with Pakistan, has said, “I use to favour dialogue with Pakistan every time, but how will we answer those who lost their loved ones?..Not Balakot, today the nation wants such action to be taken so that these kinds of attacks never happen…We regret that our neighbour today also does not understand that it has murdered humanity..We will give a befitting reply to them.” AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at Pakistan saying, “You are not just half an hour behind, you are half a century behind India. Your country’s budget is not even equal to our military budget…Remember, if you go into another country and kill innocent people, no country will remain silent….The terrorists are worse than the Khawarij. This act shows they are the successors of ISIS.” J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah, in an emotional speech, said, “there can be no sin bigger than the brutal killings in Pahalgam. They killed people after ascertaining their religion….This is the begining of their end, when we will take action…They insulted Kashmiriyat tradition.” Omar Abdullah said, “I will be cursed if I now go to the Centre and ask for statehood at this critical moment.” What Farooq, Omar Abdullah and Asaduddun Owaisi said reflects the inner voice of every Indian. Now is the time for the entire nation to stand united and teach a lesson to the sponsors of terrorists.
