Ram Mandir loot : Nail the big fish
Vishwa Hindu Parishad has taken a tough stance on the pilferage of donation money from Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. VHP has demanded a faster probe, early filing of FIR and a fast-track court hearing on a day-to-day basis.
VHP has called for arrest and punishment of all those who insulted the faith of millions of devotees of Lord Ram.
The Parishad has called off its annual meet in Ayodhya which was scheduled from June 25 to 29.
It is good that the VHP has made these demands, but the saddest part of this case is that those who stole donation money were not outsiders. They were relatives and nephews of all those ‘uncles’ who were managing the show. Those who were made ‘chowkidars’ carried out the heist.
It is also surprising that pilferage of donation money was being done daily and people in the know, were aware about it . Yet, everybody kept silent.
This means, all those responsible in the management were directly or indirectly involved in their lust for lucre.
The FIR must not limit itself to naming only those from whom cash and ill-gotten wealth has been found.
Those who were in the top rungs of temple management must face the music. They were the persons who were issuing ‘parchis’ (handwritten notes) to juniors for appointing staff for the counting process.
Tiwari murder : Stop all fake encounters!
In Bilauti village of Bihar’s Bhojpur district, thousands attended a Mahapanchayat to demand arrest and trial of police officers who murdered Bharat Tiwari.
They demanded probe by a sitting judge of Patna High Court. Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor was present at the gathering.
Till now, the administration has filed FIR against DSP Rajesh Sharma, SHO Rajesh Malakar and three other policemen based on a complaint filed by Bharat Tiwari’s mother.
There is no dispute over the video which clearly shows policemen firing bullets even after Bharat Tiwari threw away his pistol to surrender.
It is unfortunate that despite a clear cut murder case, the matter is being given a caste twist by certain political leaders.
While upper castes are on one side, demanding probe by a sitting judge, and capital punishment for the policemen who killed Tiwari, leaders of other castes are seeking to downplay these demands. They are saying, law should be allowed to take its own course and there is no need to give a hype to this incident, in which a Brahmin leader was the victim.
For me, this is a point-blank murder case. The video substantiates this. It should not be seen through a caste prism.
All sides must ensure that those guilty of carrying out fake encounters are punished, whichever caste they belong to. Fake encounters must be stopped.
Shocking! Girl killed fiancé to avoid marriage
The murder of Ketan Agarwal, a real estate businessman, by his fiancée Siya Goyal in Pune is shocking.
She did not want to marry him, but she did not tell both families about her choice.
Instead, she hatched a diabolical plot with her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary, and pushed Ketan 400 feet down to his death at the Lohagarh Fort.
The girl herself rang up police and cooked a lie saying Ketan slipped and fell to his death. She went to Ketan’s home, shed tears and posted sad thoughts on social media. But Ketan’s family had doubts about her behaviour.
When police checked CCTV footage and Siya’s call detail records, the truth tumbled out. After interrogation, both Siya and her boyfriend confessed that they killed Ketan.
Ketan’s mom has demanded a fast-track hearing in Siya’s case. She has asked for punishment, which should make others think a hundred times before committing such vile acts.
The girl’s diabolical act has surprised society at large.
There is fear in the minds of citizens. They are asking, why Siya took such an extreme step? She could have told Ketan, his family and her own family members that she was not interested in marrying him, because she was in love with her boyfriend.
Was murder necessary? How could she ever think that she could murder somebody and go scot-free?
Was she aware of what Sonam did to her husband Raja Raghuvanshi during their honeymoon near Shillong last year?
It is a matter of concern that two months ago, on April 27, a Shillong court granted bail to accused Sonam Raghuvanshi. She is now out of jail.
It is even more worrying that a similar murder has taken place again. For the society, it is a serious question: How can a young woman think of committing such a vile act?
राम मंदिर लूट : बिजली उन पर गिरे, जो मठाधीश बन बैठे थे
विश्व हिन्दू परिषद ने अयोध्या के राम लला मंदिर में चोरी के मामले में तुरंत FIR दर्ज करने, जांच में तेज़ी लाने और एक फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट में दैनंदिन आधार पर सुनवाई कराने की मांग की है.
परिषद का कहना है कि करोड़ों राम भक्तों की आस्था के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वालों को जल्द सजा हो.
विश्व हिन्दू परिषद ने अयोध्या में 25 से 29 जून तक होने वाली अपनी वार्षिक बैठक रद्द कर दी है.
परिषद ने FIR की मांग की, अच्छा किया लेकिन प्रभु राम के दान में चोरी की सबसे दुखदायी बात ये है कि चोरी करने कोई बाहर से नहीं आया था.
जो मंदिर के पापा, चाचा, मामा बनकर बैठे थे, उनके भाई-भतीजों ने ही पाप किया. जिन्हें चौकीदार बनाया, उन्होंने ही डाका डाला.
ये भी चौंकाने वाली बात है कि इनमें से ज्यादातर लोग RSS से जुड़े हैं, संघ के स्वयंसेवक होने का दावा करते हैं.
जिन पर आंख मूंदकर विश्वास किया, वो लालच में अंधे हो गए.
सबको पता था कि डकैती हो रही है, रोज़ हो रही है, पर कोई बोला नहीं क्योंकि सबके सब प्रत्यक्ष या परोक्ष रूप से इस पाप में शामिल थे.
इसीलिए FIR सिर्फ उन लोगों पर नहीं होनी चाहिए जिनके पास से लूट का माल मिला.
बिजली उन पर भी गिरनी चाहिए जो मठाधीश बनकर बैठे रहे और पर्चियों से काम चलाते रहे.
भरत तिवारी : कोई किसी जाति का हो, फर्ज़ी एनकाउंटर बंद करो!
बिहार के भोजपुर जिले के बिलौटी गांव में महापंचायत हुई. इसमें मांग की गई कि भरत तिवारी एनकाउंटर की जांच एक वर्तमान हाई कोर्ट जज से कराई जाए.
तय हुआ कि पूरे बिहार में इस हत्या के विरोध में आंदोलन होगा. जन सुराज पार्टी के संस्थापक प्रशांत किशोर भी महापंचायत में पहुंचे.
अब तक भरत तिवारी की मां की शिकायत पर DSP राजेश शर्मा, SHO राजेश मालाकार और 3 अन्य पुलिस कर्मियों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज हुई है.
इस मामले में तो सबकी राय एक है कि भरत तिवारी का एनकाउंटर फर्जी था. ये हत्या है.
वीडियो में वो पिस्तौल फेंकते हुए सरेंडर करते हुए साफ दिखाई दे रहा है, फिर भी पुलिस ने उसके सीने में गोली मार दी.
दुर्भाग्य की बात है कि इतना स्पष्ट मामला होने के बाद भी बिहार में हत्या की घटना जातियों की ताकत दिखाने का मामला बन गया है.
एक तरफ सारे सवर्ण हैं, जो वर्तमान हाई कोर्ट जज से जांच कराने की मांग कर रहे हैं और जिन पुलिस वालों ने गोली मारी उनको फांसी पर चढ़ाने की बात कह रहे हैं.
अन्य जातियों के नेता इतना कहकर रुक जाते हैं कि कानून अपना काम कर रहा है, इस मामले को इतना तूल देने की ज़रूरत क्या है ?
उनकी समस्या ये है कि एक ब्राह्मण नेता के एनकाउंटर को इतना बड़ा मुद्दा क्यों बनाया जा रहा है.
मुझे लगता है ये point blank murder का केस है. वीडियो पर है. इसे जाति के चश्मे से नहीं देखना चाहिए.
सबकी कोशिश ये होनी चाहिए कि इस तरह का फर्जी एनकाउंटर करने वालों को सजा मिले ताकि कोई किसी भी जाति का हो, किसी के साथ इस तरह का फर्जी एनकाउंटर दोबारा न हो.
ये कैसी मंगेतर? धोखा, फरेब और हत्या
पुणे में एक युवती ने अपने होने वाले पति को सिर्फ इसलिए मार डाला क्योंकि वो उससे शादी नहीं करना चाहती थी. इस हत्या में उसके बॉयफ्रेंड ने साथ दिया.
सिया गोयल की केतन अग्रवाल से सगाई हुई. सिया ने उस जगह की रेकी की जहां वो केतन की हत्य़ा करना चाहती थी.
एक बार प्लान फेल हुआ तो दोबारा केतन को लोहागढ़ किला ले गई और पहाड़ से धक्का देकर 400 फीट नीचे गिरा कर मार डाला.
सिया ने अपने बॉयफ्रेंड चेतन चौधरी के साथ मिलकर इस तरह प्लानिंग की कि किसी को उसके खौफनाक इरादों पर जरा भी शक नहीं हुआ.
केतन को पहाड़ से धक्का देने के बाद सिया ने पुलिस को कॉल किया, फिर केतन के घर जाकर रोई, सोशल मीडिया पर दुखभरे इमोशनल पोस्ट करती रही.
केतन के परिवार को शक हुआ, पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज चेक किए, सिया के फोन की कॉल डिटेल निकाली, तो राज़ खुला.
पूछताछ में सिया और चेतन चौधरी ने कबूल किया कि दोनों ने मिलकर केतन की हत्या की.
केतन की मां ने कहा, सिया के खिलाफ फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट में केस चलाया जाए और उसे जल्द ऐसी सजा मिले जिससे कोई इस तरह की हरकत करने से पहले सौ बार सोचे.
किले में अपने मंगेतर की प्लानिंग करके हत्या करने वाली लड़की ने पूरे समाज को चौंका दिया है.
सबके मन में डर है, सवाल है. अगर उसे शादी नहीं करनी थी, तो वो ना करती, माता-पिता से लड़ती.
जिस लड़के से शादी होनी है, उससे कहती, उसके मां-बाप को बताती. जान लेने की क्या जरूरत थी ?
उसने ये कैसे सोच लिया कि वो हत्या करेगी और बच जाएगी?
क्या उसे मालूम नहीं था कि पिछले साल भी इसी तरह का केस आया था?
शादी के बाद सोनम अपने पति को हनीमून के लिए शिलॉन्ग ले गई थी और बॉयफ्रेंड के साथ मिलकर राजा रघुवंशी की हत्या कर दी थी.
ये बात जरूर परेशान करती है कि दो महीने पहले 27 अप्रैल को शिलॉन्ग कोर्ट ने सोनम रघुवंशी को जमानत दे दी, अब वो जेल से बाहर है.
इसीलिए ऐसा ही केस दोबारा हो जाए, ये बहुत चिंता की बात है.
किसी लड़की के मन में ऐसा विचार भी कैसे आ सकता है, ये समाज के सामने बड़ा सवाल है.
राम मंदिर में डाका : पाप में सब भागीदार
राम मंदिर में चढ़ावे की चोरी की जांच के लिए जो SIT बनाई गई थी, उसने अपनी प्राथमिक जांच रिपोर्ट सरकार को सौंप दी है. रिपोर्ट शुरुआती है इसलिए जांच की आंच राम मंदिर ट्रस्ट के बड़े पदाधिकारियों तक नहीं पहुंची है.
ट्रस्ट के सचिव चंपत राय इस सारे विवाद के बाद पहली बार शेषावतार मंदिर के ध्वजारोहण समारोह के मंच पर नजर आए. ट्रस्ट से जुड़े जितने लोग शक के घेरे में हैं, वे सब एक साथ दिखाई दिए, मानो कुछ हुआ ही न हो.
राम मंदिर के दान पात्रों में डाले गए रुपये पैसे की चोरी होती रही, ऐसा कैसे संभव है कि व्यवस्था करने वालों को पता नहीं चला?
गिनती के जो नियम कायदे थे, उनका पालन नहीं हुआ, ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है कि व्यवस्था करने वालों को इसका भी पता ही नहीं चला ?
जेबों में नोटों की गड्डियां भर-भरकर ले जाने वालों की तलाशी नहीं हुई, व्यवस्था करने वालों को इसकी भनक क्यों नहीं लगी ?
गिनती करने वालों ने मकान बना लिए, दुकानें खरीद लीं, नई गाड़ियां ले लीं, सारी दुनिया ने देखा पर ट्रस्ट के प्रबंधन को दिखाई नहीं दिया.
जब कुछ लोगों ने आकर चोरी की खबर दी, तो भी ट्रस्ट के कर्ता-धर्ता ने उस पर यकीन नहीं किया. लोगों के घर से कैश मिला, बैंक खाते में जमा राशि मिली तो भी ट्रस्ट के मुखिया को नहीं लगा कि उनके चहेते प्रभु राम के घर में चोरी कर सकते हैं.
चंपत राय ने SIT बनाने के लिए चिट्ठी लिख दी, खुद गवाही दे दी, SIT को सब बता दिया और मान कर बैठ गए कि उनका काम पूरा हो गया लेकिन पिक्चर अभी बाकी है.
SIT की शुरुआती रिपोर्ट आई है. असली जांच तो अभी होनी है. किस किसने अपने रिश्तेदारों को गिनती के काम में रखवाया ?
किसने CEO की नियुक्ति को रुकवाया ? किसने Mint Corporation को बाहर भगाया ?
किसने भगवान राम के दान पात्रों में चोरी की जानकारी को छुपाया ? इसकी भी जांच होनी चाहिए. पाप में जो जो भागीदार हैं, सबका हिसाब होना चाहिए.
मुझे तो हैरानी इस बात पर है कि आज भी चंपत राय ने रामलला के दरबार में खड़े होकर चढ़ावे में चोरी की कोई बात नहीं की. उन्होंने लखनऊ के अग्निकांड के शिकार हुए लोगों की आत्मा की शान्ति के लिए प्रार्थना तो की लेकिन चढ़ावे में चोरी करने वालों को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिले, रामलला से इसकी प्रार्थना तक नहीं की.
कोचिंग सेंटर्स या मौत का कुआं?
लखनऊ के गेमिंग ज़ोन में 15 नौजवानों की अग्निकांड में मौत के बाद प्रशासन जागा है. पुलिस ने बिल्डिंग के मालिक, Pet Shop के मालिक, हूपर्स गेमिंग ज़ोन और एनिमेशन एकेडमी के संचालक और आईटी कंपनी चलाने वाले सुरेश साहू को गिरफ्तार किया है. अभी दो अन्य फरार हैं.
लखनऊ विकास प्राधिकरण, फायर ब्रिगेड और बिजली विभाग के चार अफसरों को निलम्बित किया गया है. प्राधिकरण ने बिल्डिंग मालिक को 15 दिन के अंदर इमारत गिराने का आदेश दिया है.
ये हाल सिर्फ लखनऊ की एक बिल्डिंग का नहीं है. देश में जितने भी कोचिंग सेंटर्स चल रहे हैं, जितनी कमर्शियल बिल्डिंग्स हैं, उनमें से ज्यादातर में फायर सेफ्टी का कोई इंतजाम नहीं है, इमरजेंसी एग्जिट की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है.
लखनऊ में हादसा हुआ तो अफसर जागे, पूरे देश में कोचिंग सेंटर्स पर छापे शुरू हो गए, यूपी, बिहार, राजस्थान से गुजरात तक अब कोचिंग सेंटर्स और गेमिंग ज़ोन का सिक्योरिटी ऑडिट हो रहा है और हर जगह सुरक्षा इंतज़ामों में लापरवाही दिख रही है.
कानपुर विकास प्राधिकरण की टीमों ने 16 अवैध कोचिंग संस्थानों और व्यापारिक संस्थानों को सील कर दिया.
ये हालत किसी एक शहर की या किसी एक कोचिंग सेंटर की नहीं है. हर जगह यही हाल है.
इंडिया टीवी रिपोर्टर्स ने अहमदाबाद, जयपुर, पटना, गोरखपुर जैसे कई शहरों में कोचिंग सेंटर्स का मुआयना किया, हर जगह फायर सेफ्टी का कोई पुख्ता इंतज़ाम नहीं था.
पूरे देश में कोचिंग सेंटर्स का मतलब है, न proper building, न emergency exit, न fire safety.
ये सिर्फ कमाई के अड्डे हैं जिनमें पढ़ने वालों की सुरक्षा का ज़रा भी ध्यान नहीं रखा जाता.
बात सिर्फ कोचिंग सेंटर्स तक सीमित नहीं है. इन सेंटर्स में पढ़ने वाले छात्र जहां रहते हैं, वो कमरे भी safe नहीं हैं, उन इमारतों में भी आग लगती है, बेसमेंट में पानी भरता है. वहां भी कई बार छात्रों की मौत हुई है.
आज कोचिंग सेंटर्स में सेफ्टी को लेकर जो रिपोर्ट्स आई हैं, उनको आधार बनाकर पूरे देश में कोचिंग सेंटर्स और हॉस्टल सुविधाओं का ऑडिट होना चाहिए और गाइडलाइन्स बनाई जानी चाहिए, जिनका सख्ती से पालन कराना राज्य सरकारों की जिम्मेदारी हो.
NEET के मुन्नाभाई : कैसे पकड़े गए डॉक्टर?
बिहार के लखीसराय में NEET री-एग्ज़ाम के दौरान असली परीक्षार्थियों की जगह 9 MBBS छात्रों को परीक्षा देते समय गिरफ्तार किया गया.
बिहार पुलिस भले ही ये दावा करे कि उसने NEET में पहुंचे सारे ‘मुन्ना भाइयों’ को पकड़ा लेकिन हकीकत ये है कि पुलिस को इस खेल की हवा तक नहीं थी.
जब परीक्षा शुरू हो चुकी थी, उसी वक्त दोपहर में बिहार पुलिस के मुख्यालय और NTA को एक अनजान शख्स का मेल मिला जिसमें बताया गया था कि लखीसराय के केंद्रीय विद्यालय में NEET का जो सेंटर है, उसमें असली परीक्षार्थी मधुप्रिया की जगह BHU में नर्सिंग की पढ़ाई कर रही पूनम परीक्षा दे रही है.
तब पुलिस हरकत में आई, पूनम को पकड़ा. पूनम ने सच उगल दिया और उसके बाद MBBS के 9 छात्र दूसरे परीक्षार्थियों की जगह इम्तहान देते हुए पक़ड़े गए.
दरअसल National Testing Agency ने जिस EDCIL कंपनी को स्टूडेंट्स के बायोमेट्रिक authentication का ठेका दिया था उसने ये काम इनोवेटिव व्यू नाम की एक कंपनी को सौंप दिया लेकिन मंगलवार को पता चला कि इस कंपनी को 2022 में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने ब्लैकलिस्ट किया था.
2025 में झारखंड और तमिलनाडु की सरकारों ने भी इस कंपनी को ब्लैकलिस्ट में डाल दिया था. फिर भी NEET री-एग्ज़ाम के दौरान इस कंपनी को छात्रों के बायोमेट्रिक्स चेकिंग का ठेका दे दिया गया.
इस कंपनी ने बायोमेट्रिक चेक करने के लिए, पांच पांच सौ रुपए में लोकल लोगों को नियुक्त किया था.
इन लोगों ने पैसे लेकर असली परीक्षार्थियों की जगह देश के अलग अलग हिस्सों से बुलाए गए MBBS के नौ छात्रों का परीक्षा केंद्रों में प्रवेश करा दिया.
कंपनी के लोकल स्टाफ़ ने असली परीक्षार्थियों के बायोमेट्रिक तीनों परीक्षा केंद्रों से दूर खड़ी एक कार में लिए.
जब बायोमैट्रिक ऑथेन्टिकेशन हो गया तो असली परीक्षार्थियों की जगह परीक्षा देने के लिए MBBS छात्रों को परीक्षा केंद्र में भेज दिया.
इस मामले में पुलिस ने एक परीक्षार्थी और बायोमेट्रिक कंपनी के 18 कर्मचारियों समेत कुल 30 लोगों को गिरफ़्तार किय़ा है.
इस पूरे खेल का मास्टरमाइंड पटना मेडिकल कॉलेज का तृतीय वर्ष का एक छात्र अश्विनी कुमार है.
लखीसराय में NEET परीक्षा देने पहुंचे 9 दूसरे MBBS छात्रों के ब्यौरे भी चौंकाने वाले हैं.
पश्चिम बंगाल के जलपाईगुड़ी मेडिकल कॉलेज में MBBS फोर्थ ईयर का छात्र मनतोष कुमार, संजीत की जगह परीक्षा देने पहुंचा था. गया के AN मेडिकल कॉलेज में MBBS फोर्थ ईयर का छात्र विवेक कुमार भी परीक्षा देने पहुंचा, पर पकड़ा गया.
सतना मेडिकल कॉलेज में फर्स्ट ईयर का छात्र हिमांशु कुमार शुभम वर्मा की जगह परीक्षा देने आया था.
AIIMS रायबरेली में फोर्थ ईयर का छात्र सौरभ झा ईशान सिंह की जगह परीक्षा देने गया था. BHU में नर्सिंग का कोर्स कर रही पूनम कुमारी, मधु प्रिया बनकर परीक्षा देने लखीसराय आई थी.
दिल्ली के यूनिवर्सिटी कॉलेज ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज में MBBS की इंटर्नशिप कर रहा अमन अग्रवाल भी इस रैकेट का हिस्सा था.
ओडिशा के गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज में आयुर्वेद की पढ़ाई कर रही चंचल कुमारी, लखीसराय में नंदिनी राज की जगह परीक्षा देने पहुंची थी.
इन सब छात्रों को पटना के अश्विनी कुमार ने इकट्ठा किया था.
एक-एक नीट परीक्षार्थी को पास कराने के लिए 60 लाख रुपए की मांग की गई थी, इसमें से 25 लाख रुपए अश्विनी कुमार को मिलने थे. इनके साथ दो दलाल भी पुलिस ने पकड़े हैं.
लेकिन इस सवाल का जवाब अब तक नहीं मिला है कि पैसों के लालच में उन मेडिकल छात्रों ने अपना करियर क्यों खराब किया, जबकि वो डॉक्टर बनने वाले थे?
पकड़े गए कई MBBS छात्रों का बैकग्राउंड मैंने पता किया, मालूम हुआ कि ज्यादातर मिडिल क्लास फैमिली के हैं. कुछ तो बहुत गरीब हैं.
जो इस खेल का मास्टरमाइंड है, उसके पिता किसान हैं. उन्होंने बेटे को डॉक्टर बनाने के लिए अपनी ज़मीन तक बेच दी.
बेटा मेडिकल की आधी पढ़ाई पूरी कर चुका था. माता पिता सोच रहे थे कि बेटा डॉक्टर बन जाएगा तो उनकी मेहनत सफल हो जाएगी लेकिन बेटा जेल पहुंच गया.
Robbery in Ram Mandir : Top to bottom, all are guilty
The Special Investigation Team on Tuesday submitted its preliminary report to UP government in the case of theft of donation money in Ayodhya Ram Temple. The report does not name any top office bearer of the Trust for their involvement.
Trust secretary Champat Rai appeared in public on Tuesday at the flag hoisting ceremony of Sheshavatar Mandir along with other office bearers. None of them made any comment.
The questions which remain unanswered are: Why did those in the top management not know that donations were being stolen?
Why did the management remain silent when standard operating procedures for collection and counting of cash donations were being violated?
Why did the managers have no inkling about some of the counting staff carrying bundles of currency notes in their pockets?
Why did the management turn a blind eye to some of the counting staff building plush homes and buying shops and luxury sedans?
Why did the managers not trust the whistleblower when he disclosed that donation money was being pilfered?
Why did the office-bearers remain silent when cash was seized from homes and bank accounts?
Champat Rai requested the UP government to set up an SIT and he gave his statement, but I would like say: Picture Abhi Baaki Hai.
This is only a preliminary SIT report. The actual probe is yet to begin.
Who were the office-bearers who appointed their relatives as counting staff?
Who opposed the appointment of a CEO? Who kept the public sector Minting Corporation of India out of the picture?
Who concealed info about pilferage of money from Lord Ram’s donation boxes?
All these questions need answers and a detailed probe must be conducted.
Those who were part of the gang that committed sins must be brought to book.
I am surprised, Champat Rai stood inside the Ram Lala Durbar premises but did not speak about the pilferage of money. He prayed for the souls of those who died in the Lucknow fire tragedy, but did not pray to Lord Ram for punishing the sinners of the temple.
Coaching centers or death inferno?
After 15 youths lost their lives in the Gaming Zone fire tragedy in Lucknow, the owners of the building, the pet shop, Hoopers Gaming Zone and Animation Academy and an IT company have been arrested. Two others are absconding.
Four officials of Lucknow Development Authority, fire brigade and electricity department have been suspended. LDA has directed the owner to demolish his half-burnt building within 15 days.
It is painful to imagine the trauma that the families of the dead youths are going through presently. Yet, politicians in UP are engaged in allegations and counter-allegations.
I have checked the details. Notice was issued in 2016 to the building owner by LDA saying the building was illegal because a residential premise was being used as a commercial one.
No action was taken on the notice by officials in the next two months. The noting on the file says, all violations of byelaws have been corrected.
Akhilesh Yadav was the chief minister in 2016. Sending a notice and then putting it in a file does not make sense. It was clear that a residential premise was being used for commercial purposes. LDA officials were oblivious to this reality.
This is not the case of a Lucknow building alone. There are thousands of coaching centers being run across India in similar buildings, where there are no fire safety norms in place. Already, authorities are carrying out raids in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat and other states.
A safety audit is being carried out in UP for all coaching centers. Kanpur Development Authority has sealed 15 such illegal commercial buildings.
India TV reporters went to coaching centers in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Gorakhpur and other cities. In most of the centers, there were no safety norms in place.
Coaching centers mean no proper building, no emergency exit and no fire safety. These are merely money-making shops where scant attention is paid to the safety of students.
Coaching students live in unsafe conditions inside hostel buildings, where fire incidents take place and basements overflow with water during monsoon. Several students have died in such incidents.
A nationwide comprehensive safety audit of all coaching centers and student hostels needs to be done and guidelines must be prepared and enforced strictly by all state governments.
NEET Munnabhai : How MBBS students were caught?
An urgent e-mail to National Testing Agency and state police headquarters on Sunday blew the lid off an ingenious ‘Munnabhai’ racket in Lakhisarai, Bihar.
Nine MBBS students were caught impersonating real candidates even as the NEET re-exam was on.
The e-mail said, a BHU nursing student Poonam was impersonating a candidate named Madhupriya at the Kendriya Vidyalaya exam centre in Lakhisarai.
NTA and Bihar Police swung into action and Poonam spilled the beans. This led to the arrest of 9 MBBS students, some hailing from West Bengal, UP, Bihar and Odisha.
The modus operandi was simple. The local staff took biometric checks of candidates sitting inside a car, at a little distance from exam centers, and after biometric authentication was done, MBBS students were allowed to go inside as impersonators.
National Testing Agency had entrusted biometric authentication work to EDCIL, which, in turn, gave it to a company named Innovative View, which was already blacklisted by UP government in 2022 and by Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu governments in 2025.
This company paid Rs 500 to locals and engaged them for biometric checking. Some of these checkers took money and ensured access of 9 MBBS students to impersonate the candidates.
Till now, 30 persons, including 18 staff of the biometric company and a candidate have been arrested apart from the MBBS students.
The mastermind was an MBBS third year student from Patna medical college, Ashwini Kumar. He engaged other MBBS students from Jalpaiguri, Odisha, BHU, MP, Delhi and Bihar for impersonation.
Rs 60 lakh was collected from each NEET candidate, out of which Ashwini Kumar was to get Rs 25 lakhs. Two middlemen were also arrested.
Why did MBBS students, who were supposed to become doctors, took this gamble? Why did they spoil their careers?
I checked the background of some of the MBBS students. They hailed from poor and middle-class families.
The mastermind’s father is a farmer in Bihar. He had sold his land for his son’s medical education. His son had almost completely half of his education. He was lured by easy money and landed behind bars.
Lucknow inferno : Who is responsible for the death of 15 innocents?
It is in a sad state of mind that I write these lines. Fifteen youths lost their lives when flames engulfed a building in Lucknow due to a suspected short circuit.
The youths were undergoing training in gaming/coding at the game zone. More than six of them are fighting for their lives in hospital. Most of the deaths were caused due to asphyxiation.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cut short his Aligarh visit, rushed to Lucknow and met the victims. A two-member Special Investigation Team has been set up. Four persons including the owner of the building have been arrested and four departmental employees have been suspended.
On Tuesday, orders were issued to demolish the building.
Imagine the trauma that the parents of those dead may be going through. All their hopes and aspirations for their offsprings have been reduced to ashes.
The main question: Who are those who had the powers to grant permission for running a gaming center in this building, particularly when all exits were closed?
How did the fire department issue NOC to the owner of the building? If there was no NOC, how was the gaming-coding center allowed to run there?
The probe must not be limited to this building alone.
There are many such centers which are being run in buildings. These could become tinderboxes.
The authorities must direct the owners to shut those centers or else, send bulldozers if they refuse to cooperate.
Bihar : Send the killers of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari to jail
There is political turbulence in Bihar after Bharat Bhushan Tiwari of Bhojpur was shot dead by police in what the police claims to be an encounter.
Several parties and organizations are staging protests demanding action against the culprits working in the police force.
On Monday, the Supreme Court declined an urgent hearing on a petition seeking CBI or judicial probe against the police officials.
Sensing political unrest, the state police has suspended an SHO, two sub-inspectors, an ASI and a constable.
Senior police officials admitted that the encounter was a mistake and it was a result of negligence.
The video of the encounter clearly shows the police was in haste to kill the victim.
It is a fact that Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary had promised to send criminals to hell (‘jahannum’), but his police implemented this without applying its mind.
On encounters, Bihar Police wants to follow the footsteps of Uttar Pradesh. There are several states who want to follow Yogi Adityanath’s model. That’s when mistakes occur.
Police is free to carry out encounter of criminals, and if any criminal fires at police, it can fire back. There is nothing wrong in it, but killing somebody in the guise of a fake encounter cannot be tolerated.
If Bihar Police wants to follow the path of UP Police, it must first get the training that was imparted to UP Police.
On Monday, there was an encounter in Saharanpur, UP, where a criminal, Lallan, from Bihar was targeted, but nobody raised any question.

आज मन बहुत आहत है. लखनऊ से बहुत ही दिल दहलाने वाली खबर आई. एक गेमिंग ज़ोन में आग लगने से 15 युवाओं की मौत हो गई, आधा दर्जन से ज्यादा बच्चे गंभीर रूप से झुलस गए. ज्यादातर बच्चों की मौत दम घुटने के कारण हुई.
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने हादसे के कारणों की जांच के लिए दो सदस्यीय SIT गठित की है. लखनऊ पुलिस ने बिल्डिंग मालिक समेत चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. चार विभागीय अधिकारियों को निलम्बित किया गया है.
मंगलवार को आदेश जारी हुआ कि इस जली हुई इमारत को ध्वस्त कर दिया जाए.
युवाओं की आग में जलकर मौत बहुत ही दुखद है. उन माता-पिता के दिल पर क्या बीत रही होगी, जिनकी जिंदगी की उम्मीद जल कर राख हो गई.
ये बच्चे किस तरह तड़प-तड़प कर मरे होंगे, ये सोचकर दिल कांप उठता है. जो बच्चे gaming-coding सीखने गए थे, उनका क्या कसूर था? ऐसी जगह कोचिंग चलाने की अनुमति किसने दी, जहां से निकलने के रास्ते बंद थे ?
ऐसी इमारतों को अग्निशमन विभाग ने NOC कैसे परमिशन दे दी ? और अगर परमिशन नहीं थी, fire department का clearance नहीं था, तो gaming-coding का ये centre कैसे चल रहा था ?
सिर्फ इसकी जांच नहीं होनी चाहिए.
जहां जहां भी ऐसे सेंटर्स हैं, जो खतरनाक हैं, उन्हें अपने आप ही इनको बंद करने के लिए कहना चाहिए. वो नहीं मानते तो फिर बुलडोज़र से इनका इलाज करना चाहिए.
बिहार : भरत भूषण तिवारी के हत्यारों को जेल भेजा जाए
बिहार के आरा में भरत भूषण तिवारी के एनकाउंटर का केस सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंच गया. इस घटना से जुड़े पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कर CBI से मामले की जांच कराने की गुज़ारिश की गई. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले में तत्काल सुनवाई नहीं की .
पुलिस के खिलाफ नाराजगी को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने एक SHO, 2 सब इंस्पेक्टर, एक ASI और एक कांस्टेबल को निलम्बित कर दिया है. पुलिस ने आज ये माना कि इस मामले में भरत भूषण तिवारी के एनकाउंटर में गलती और लापरवाही हुई है.
एनकाउंटर के जो वीडियो सामने आए हैं, उनसे इतना तो साफ है कि इस मामले में गलती पुलिस की है.
मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने अपराधियों को सीधे जहन्नुम पहुंचाने की बात कही थी. पुलिस ने इसका बिना सोचे समझे अनुपालन किया.
असल में बिहार पुलिस यूपी पुलिस की राह पर चलना चाहती है. ज्यादातर राज्य योगी के मॉडल पर चलने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. इसी चक्कर में ये गड़बड़ हुई.
पुलिस अपराधियों का एनकाउंटर करे, पुलिस पर हमला करने वाले अपराधियों पर गोली चलाए, इसमें कोई गलत बात नहीं है, लेकिन सिर्फ शाबाशी लेने के लिए पुलिस इस तरह की हरकत करे, इसे बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता.
अगर बिहार पुलिस यूपी पुलिस की राह पर चलना चाहती है तो उसे यूपी पुलिस जैसी ट्रेनिंग भी लेनी चाहिए.
सोमवार को ही उत्तर प्रदेश में बिहार के एक अपराधी लल्लन का एनकाउंटर हुआ. सहारनपुर पुलिस ने इनामी बदमाश का एनकाउंटर किया लेकिन किसी ने सवाल नहीं उठाया.
Ram Mandir : Pilferage was going on at all levels
More revelations have come in the ongoing SIT probe into multi-crore theft of donation money and jewellery at the famous Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Pilferage was going on at all levels – from opening of donation boxes, counting of cash and deposit of bundles of currency notes in banks.
CCTV cameras were deployed, those supposed to keep a watch were present, the SOPs for counting were fixed, but, in practice, the cameras were shut off at key timings, those supposed to watch the entire counting process were looking elsewhere and SOPs were thrown to the winds.
A furious UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who visited Ayodhya on Friday, said, everything will become crystal clear in 15 days. He said, “doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani ho jayega”, and the culprits will be punished.
Yogi did the correct thing. He did not allow Champat Rai, the general secretary of the temple trust, to be present during his visit.
Had Champat Rai appeared with the CM, tongues would have wagged about Yogi trying to shield the culprits.
Though Champat Rai’s name is yet to figure in the list of prime suspects, evidence has been found about who pilfered money from donation boxes and who took away jewellery donated by devotees.
Some items, including cash, has been recovered, but one is yet to assess the full scope of the pilferage that was going on inside the temple.
There were 44 persons involved in the counting process.
Some of them have been identified, but the pilferage was happening openly in a shameless and brazen manner, and everybody involved in the counting process knew that the pilferage was going on.
All of them are culprits. It has also come to light that persons connected with RSS were involved in the counting process. Most of the appointments were made on the basis of ‘slips’ (parchi) and there was no prior scrutiny. There was zero vigilance during counting.
Security personnel posted in the temple premises were prevented from frisking persons involved in counting.
The can of worms spilled out when people started noticing that those involved in counting were carrying costly iPhones, travelling in luxurious sedans and SUVs, built plush residences and had bought shops.
In Hindi, there is an idiom “daal mein kaala” (something is fishy). Here the entire “daal” was black.
These sinners have insulted the sentiments of millions of Hindus, they betrayed Sanatan dharma. The action that must be taken against the sinners must become a model for the rest of the world.
NEET : Enforce foolproof system from next year
On Sunday, June 21, more than 22 lakh students will sit for the NEET-UG re-exam across India. Massive preparations have been made to ensure that the re-exam is done without a glitch, and no leaks or cheatings take place.
On Friday, Delhi High Court upheld the Centre’s decision to temporarily suspend access to Telegram app till June 22 in the public interest.
The network of leak mafia is so vast that the Centre had to use Indian Air Force aircraft and helicopters to dispatch question papers and for collecting answer sheets after the re-exam is over.
Question setters were kept in isolation, Telegram app was temporarily banned, medical colleges were asked not to grant leave to students on June 20 and 21 to prevent impersonation and cheating.
Such decisions are taken in times of emergency. For Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, this is an emergency, and he is facing the toughest test of his life. But such actions cannot be taken on a regular basis.
There must be efforts to put in place a foolproof system from next year and provide millions of students a level-playing field.
Mamata : Exodus continues
Trinamool Congress parliamentary group leader Abhishek Banerjee met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Friday and submitted 20 petitions seeking disqualification of each of his rebel party MPs, who have joined Nationalist Citizens Party of India.
Meanwhile, the exodus continues. On Friday, five-time MLA, former minister and Mamata’s confidante Jyotipriya Mullick resigned from all posts in the party, while Siliguri Mayor and TMC leader Gautam Deb also resigned.
It is surprising to see leaders, big and small, leaving Mamata Banerjee’s party. This is nothing short of a stampede to jump ship.
Whatever Abhishek Banerjee may say about ED and CBI, whatever petitions he may submit to the Lok Sabha Speaker, whatever stories Mahua Moitra may write on social media, they are not going to buck the trend.
Twenty TMC MPs have merged into NCPI and they will be joining NDA. More regional parties may follow suit.
NDA requires two-third majority in both Houses of Parliament to get the Constitution Amendment Bill for delimitation passed. Arrangements are being made and it is no more a secret.
अयोध्या में लूट : दाल में काला नहीं, पूरी दाल ही काली थी
अयोध्या राम मंदिर के चढ़ावे में चोरी के मामले में कई खुलासे हुए. पता लगा कि मंदिर में सारी व्यवस्था रामभरोसे चल रही थी.
दानपात्र खुलने से लेकर, चढ़ावे की रकम की गिनती और नोटों के बंडल बैंक तक पहुंचाने तक, हर कदम पर चोरी हुई.
CCTV कैमरे थे, निगरानी करने वाले भी तैनात थे, गिनती के नियम-कायदे भी तय थे लेकिन गिनती के वक्त CCTV बीच-बीच में ऑफ किए गए.
निगरानी करने वालों ने आंखें फेर लीं. नियम कायदे ताक पर रख दिए गए और चढ़ावा चोरी करने वाले मज़े से अपना काम करते रहे.
योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि रामभक्त सिर्फ पन्द्रह दिन सब्र रखें, तब दूध का दूध और पानी का पानी हो जाएगा, महापाप करने वाला कोई भी, कितना भी बड़ा हो, बचेगा नहीं, सबका हिसाब होगा.
योगी ने अच्छा किया कि जब वो राम मंदिर गए तो उन्होंने राम मंदिर ट्रस्ट के महासचिव चंपत राय को दूर रखा. अगर वह चंपत राय से मिलते तो लोग कहते कि उनको बचाने की कोशिश हो रही है, हालांकि आंच अभी चंपत राय तक नहीं पहुंची है.
शुरुआती जांच में इस बात के सबूत तो मिले हैं कि राम मंदिर में भक्तों ने जो रुपये चढ़ाए थे, उनकी चोरी किस-किसने की.
मंदिर में चढ़ाए गए सोने-चांदी और हीरों के जेवरात को किसने गायब किया. कुछ माल पकड़ा गया है. कुछ कैश बरामद हुआ है. कुछ लोगों की संपत्ति भी पहचान में आई है लेकिन भगवान के मंदिर में डकैती किस स्तर की थी, इसका पूरा अंदाज़ा लगना अभी बाकी है.
गिनती की प्रक्रिया में जो 44 लोग शामिल थे, उनमें से कई चेहरों की पहचान हुई है लेकिन ये पाप इतनी बेशर्मी से और इतना खुलेआम हो रहा था कि गिनती के काम से जुड़े एक-एक व्यक्ति को इसकी जानकारी थी. इसलिए सब के सब गुनहगार हैं.
इस बात के भी प्रमाण मिले हैं कि गिनती में ऐसे लोगों को लगाया गया, जो RSS से जुड़े थे, सिर्फ पर्ची पर नियुक्त कर दिए गए. नियुक्त करने से पहले किसी की कोई पड़ताल नहीं हुई. गिनती के समय सतर्कता शून्य थी.
मंदिर में तैनात पुलिस वालों को गिनती करने वालों की जामातलाशी करने से रोका गया. मामला सामने तब आया जब गिनती करने वालों के पास अचानक iPhone दिखाई देने लगे. उन्होंने कई गाड़ियां खरीद लीं, किसी ने मकान बना लिया, किसी ने दुकान खरीद ली.
यहां दाल में काला नहीं था. पूरी की पूरी दाल ही काली थी.
इन पापियों ने करोड़ों हिंदुओं की भावनाओं का अपमान किया है, सनातन के साथ विश्वासघात किया है. इन सब पापियों के खिलाफ ऐसी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए, जो दुनिया के सामने उदाहरण बने.
NEET परीक्षा : अगले साल से फूलप्रूफ सिस्टम बनाएं
कल रविवार को NEET-UG की परीक्षा देश भर में दुबारा होगी. दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने कह दिया कि रीएक्जाम खत्म होने तक टेलीग्राम ऐप पर बैन जारी रहेगा, सरकार का ये फैसला बिल्कुल सही है.
सरकार इस बार बहुत सतर्क है. हर राज्य में साइबर एक्सपर्ट्स की टीमें लगाई गई हैं जो लगातार उन सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स पर नजर रख रही हैं.
पेपर लीक करने वाले माफिया गिरोहों का जाल इतना खतरनाक है कि पेपर सुरक्षित पहुंचाने के लिए भारतीय वायु सेना की सहायता लेनी पड़ी. पेपर बनाने वालों को कमरे में बंद रखना पड़ा.
अफवाहें न फैलें, फर्जी पेपर पोस्ट न हो सके, इसलिए टेलीग्राम को बैन करना पड़ा. परीक्षा में cheating न हो, इसके लिए मेडिकल छात्रों की छुट्टियां रद्द करनी पड़ीं ताकि कोई छात्र नकल न कर सके.
इस तरह के फैसले इमरजेंसी में लिए जाते हैं. मैं मानता हूं कि ये धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के लिए इमरजेंसी है. ये रीएक्ज़ाम उनका सबसे बड़ा इम्तिहान है, लेकिन ऐसे एक्शन बार-बार नहीं लिए जा सकते.
इसलिए इस इम्तिहान के बाद एक फूलप्रूफ सिस्टम बनाने की कोशिश होनी चाहिए जिससे पेपर लीक, परीक्षा में cheating को रोका जा सके और 22 लाख छात्रों को level playing field मिले.
ममता : बिछड़े सभी बारी-बारी
तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता अभिषेक बनर्जी ने लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिरला से मुलाकात की और अपने 20 बागी सांसदों की सदस्यता खत्म करने की अर्जी दी.
ये 20 बागी सांसद नेशनलिस्ट सिटीजन्स पार्टी ऑफ इंडिया में शामिल हो गए हैं.
अभिषेक बनर्जी पिछले पांच दिन से कोलकाता में रोज़ ED या CID के सवालों का सामना कर रहे हैं.
अभिषेक ने कहा कि बीजेपी सारी क्षेत्रीय विरोधी पार्टियों को खत्म करना चाहती है.
शुक्रवार को ममता बनर्जी के दो पुराने साथी, पांच बार के विधायक ज्योतिप्रिय मल्लिक और सिलीगुड़ी नगर निगम के मेयर गौतम देब ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया.
ये देखकर आश्चर्य होता है, किस तरह से तृणमूल कांग्रेस के छोटे-बड़े नेता पार्टी छोड़ रहे हैं. एक तरह से पार्टी से निकलने की होड़ मची हुई है.
अभिषेक बनर्जी ED-CBI के बारे में चाहे जो कह लें, लोकसभा स्पीकर के सामने चाहे कितनी अर्जी फाइल कर दें, महुआ मोईत्रा सोशल मीडिया पर चाहे कितनी भी कहानियां सुना लें, कुछ बदलने वाला नहीं है.
TMC के 20 सांसद दूसरी पार्टी में जा चुके हैं. वो NDA के साथ जाएंगे. अन्य क्षेत्रीय पार्टियां भी टूटेंगी.
NDA को delimitation वाला संविधान संशोधन बिल पास कराने के लिए दोनों सदनों में दो-तिहाई बहुमत चाहिए. उसका इंतजाम किया जा रहा है और ये कोई सीक्रेट नहीं है.
राम मंदिर में लूट : पापियों का नाश हो
हम बचपन से सुनते आए हैं, ‘राम नाम की लूट है, लूट सके तो लूट’. अयोध्या के राम मंदिर में इसका मतलब है, ‘दान पात्र की लूट है, लूट सके तो लूट’.
राम मंदिर निर्माण समिति के अध्यक्ष नृपेन्द्र मिश्र ने माना कि चढ़ावे में चोरी तो हुई है, पाप तो हुआ है, लेकिन ये महापाप करने वाले बचेंगे नहीं, योगी और मोदी किसी को छोड़ेंगे नहीं, जांच में सारी हकीकत सामने आएगी, चोर भी पकड़े जाएंगे और दोबारा ऐसा न हो, इसके इंतजाम भी किये जाएँगे.
नृपेन्द्र मिश्र ने कहा कि मंदिर ट्रस्ट के महासचिव चंपत राय की निष्ठा पर किसी को शक नहीं है, लेकिन उनकी निगरानी में चूक तो हुई है, SIT की जांच में व्यवस्था की सारी खामियां सामने आएंगी.
प्रभु श्री राम के मंदिर में दान की चोरी का काम कई साल से चल रहा था. इसमें सब मिले हुए थे, बैंक वाले, काउंटिंग करने वाले और निगरानी करने वाले.
नियम-कायदे तो बहुत थे, जैसे गिनती करने वाले बिना जेब के कपड़े पहनेंगे, CCTV से निगरानी होगी, पर इन सबकी किसी ने कोई परवाह नहीं की. मंदिर में जो आभूषण दान में आए, उनका भी कोई हिसाब-किताब नहीं है.
तिरुपति बालाजी मंदिर में जो आभूषण दान में आते हैं, उनकी पहचान और मूल्यांकन का काम Minting Corporation Of India करती है, पर राम मंदिर में Minting Corporation के साथ agreement sign होते होते क्यों रह गया?
जब मंदिर में लूट मची हुई थी, क्या मंदिर के मुखिया कुंभकर्ण की नींद सो रहे थे?
मेरी जानकारी ये है कि SIT के हाथ उन लोगों की गर्दन तक तो पहुंच गए हैं, जिन्होंने नोटों की गड्डियां और आभूषण चुराए. SIT की रिपोर्ट को FIR में convert किया जाएगा. इन सब पापियों को सज़ा मिलेगी लेकिन जिनके पास मैनेजमेंट की जिम्मेदारी है, जिनकी लापरवाही और गैरजिम्मेदारी के कारण इतनी लूट हुई, क्या ये लोग भी इस पाप के भागीदार नहीं हैं?
इन लोगों के खिलाफ कौन एक्शन लेगा ? क्या इन्हें इसलिए माफ कर दिया जाए कि ये 30-35 साल से राम मंदिर आंदोलन से जुड़े हैं, खुद ईमानदार हैं, उनके पास न घोड़ा है, न गाड़ी.
मुझे लगता है जिसकी जिम्मेदारी निगरानी करने की थी, जिसने प्रभु राम की मर्यादा तोड़ी है, भक्तों की श्रद्धा का अपमान किया, ऐसे गुनाहों के देवताओं की छुट्टी होनी चाहिए.
उद्धव सेना में टूट: गालियां देने से क्या फायदा?
आज दूसरी बार उद्धव ठाकरे की पार्टी टूट गई. जो नौ सांसद बचे थे, उनमें से छह ने बगावत कर दी. अब सिर्फ तीन सांसद उद्धव ठाकरे के साथ बचे हैं.
संसदीय दल के नेता अरविंद सावंत ने सांसदों की मीटिंग बुलाई, व्हिप भी जारी किया, लेकिन इस मीटिंग में सिर्फ अरविन्द सावंत, अनिल देसाई और राजाभाऊ वाजे, सिर्फ तीन सांसद पहुंचे. जो बागी सांसद नहीं आए, उनको कारण बताओ नोटिस भेजा गया.
अरविन्द सावंत और संजय राउत जानते हैं कि इस नोटिस से होना कुछ नहीं है क्योंकि 6 बागी सांसद लोकसभा स्पीकर को लिखकर दे चुके हैं कि उन्होंने एकनाथ शिन्दे की पार्टी में शामिल होने का फैसला किया है, इसलिए उनके अलग बैठने की व्यवस्था की जाय.
अरविन्द सावंत ने बागी सांसदों के बारे में एक दो अपशब्द कहे, लेकिन संजय राउत ने तो हद कर दी. उन्होंने भद्दी-भद्दी गालियां दीं.
राउत ने कहा, मैं ‘सामना’ का संपादक हूं, मुझे भाषा की मर्यादा मालूम है. इसके बाद उन्होंने फिर बागी सांसदों के लिए पांच बार वही गालियां दोहराईं.
संजय राउत ने अपने सांसदों के बारे में ऐसी गालियां दीं, जिन्हें हम सुनवा नहीं सकते. अरविंद सावंत चिट्ठियां लिखते रहे. चिट्ठियाँ ऐसी, जिनका कोई मतलब नहीं है. उद्धव ठाकरे मीटिंग बुलाते रहे, मीटिंग ऐसी जिसमें ज्यादातर लोग आए ही नहीं. पहले बागी सांसदों को प्यार से पुकारा, फिर गंदी गालियां दीं, 15-15 करोड़ रु. लेने का इल्जाम लगाया, फिर धमकी दी, लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ.
नौ में से छह चले गए, सातवां कब फरार हो जाएगा, इसके पूरे-पूरे आसार हैं. शुक्रवार को शिवसेना का स्थापना दिवस है, सब डरे बैठे हैं, कहीं विधायक भी न खिसक जाएँ.
लगता है, इन सब ने शिंदे वाले विभाजन से कुछ नहीं सीखा. ये सब जानते हैं इस बर्बादी के लिए कौन सा बयान बहादुर जिम्मेदार है.
Ram Mandir theft: Punish the sinners
In our childhood we used to recite a ‘doha’ (couplet), ‘Ram Naam Ki Loot Hai, Loot Sake Toh Loot’. After the donation theft in Ayodhya, one can only say, “Daan Paatra Ki Loot Hai, Loot Sake Toh Loot”.
The chairman of Ram Mandir Construction Committee, Nripendra Misra has admitted that there has been theft of money collection through donation boxes at the shrine in Ayodhya, but he added that those who committed this grave sin will not be spared.
Misra said, the persons who stole donation money will soon be nabbed and strong measures will be taken to prevent recurrent of such acts.
He said, nobody has any doubts about the honesty of Champat Rai, the general secretary of the temple trust, but it is also a fact that there has been lapse on his part in preventing the theft.
The theft of money collected from the temple’s donation boxes was going on for several years. There were many persons involved, temple staff, bank staff, those engaged in counting and those supervising.
There were strict SOPs in place. For example, those counting money shall not wear clothes having pockets, there will be CCTV surveillance, etc. but these rules went out for a toss.
There are reports that there are no proper audits of gold, silver and diamond jewellery donated by devotees.
At the world famous Tirupati Balaji shrine, all jewellery donated by devotees are identified and the valuation is done by Minting Corporation of India, but in Ayodhya, the agreement with Minting Corporation was prepared but not executed. Why?
Were the top bosses in charge of management of Shri Ram temple sleeping when the loot was on?
I have information that the SIT has identified those who stole currency notes and jewellery from the temple. The culprits will be punished, but will action be taken against those office bearers who were responsible for supervision on part of the management? Are they now part of the sin?
Who will take action against them? Should they be pardoned only because they are honest, do not have properties and have been part of the Ram temple movement for the last 30 to 35 years?
I think those who hold accountability but hurt the faith of millions of devotees of Lord Shri Ram, must be shown the door. Soon.
Uddhav Sena split : Abusing rebels won’t help
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena was split for the second time on Thursday. Only three out of the six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs attended a meeting convened by the parliamentary party chief Arvind Sawant. The remaining six rebel MPs were absent. Uddhav Thackeray is now left with only 3 Lok Sabha MPs.
The parliamentary party chief Arvind Sawant had issued a whip to all MPs to attend the meeting, but the rebels did not come. Only Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai and Rajabhau Vaze attended. After a 15-minute wait, it was decided to send show cause notice to all the six rebels.
Both Arvind Sawant and Sanjay Raut know nothing will come out of this show cause notice, because the six rebel MPs have sent a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker that they have opted to join Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena. They have requested that separate seating arrangements be made for them inside the House.
Arvind Sawant made harsh remarks about the rebel MPs, but Sanjay Raut crossed all limits of decency by hurling filthy abuses.
Raut said, ‘I am the editor of Saamna daily, I know the limits of decent language’. He then went on to repeat the same filthy abuses, which cannot be shown on television.
Arvind Sawant’s letters to rebels do not make sense. Uddhav Thackeray’s directions to rebels to attend his meeting, do not make sense.
The rebels were first invited with polite words, then abuses were hurled and charges made that Rs 15 crore per MP exchanged hands. These had no effect on the rebels.
Six out of nine MPs walked out, and there are chances of a seventh MP making the exit. On Shiv Sena Foundation Day on Friday, the party leaders are fearing whether rebel MLAs will also follow suit and desert the party.
Uddhav and his men have not learned anything from the first split caused by Eknath Shinde. People know who is responsible. He is known as “Bayaan Bahadur”, a leader who is an expert is making remarks on everything under the Sun.
Trump : Is Modi a cool dude or a “tough negotiator”?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met after a gap of 16 months. Trump applauded Modi as an “angel”.
The US President said, “Have a look at this man. ..He’s the most beautiful looking man. He looks so nice, like an angel, but actually he’s tough…he is a killer….But he looks so good. So, he gets you by surprise … He’s as tough as they come, He’s a tough trader, and he loves the Indian people, but he also loves the USA. We had ‘Howdy Modi’ in Houston.”
Trump said, he was committed to defending India. He said, “If anybody attacks that man, we’re going to be there now,..I think India plays a big role in everything. As long as he (Modi) is the leader. I cannot say about others. ”
Modi welcomed the US-Iran peace deal. At the same time, he minced no words in telling the US President that the manner in which Indian seafarers were killed on high seas near Oman was highly objectionable. Modi said, all nations, whether big or strong, must abide by international laws.
In his remarks, Trump hoped that the India-US trade deal will be finalized soon.
Why did Trump say, Modi is cool and nice and at the same time a tough negotiator?
He knows he made objectionable remarks about Modi and India in the past, but the Indian Prime Minister kept his cool and dealt with him in a dignified manner.
In recent months, many in India had been raising questions about the personal chemistry between Trump and Modi. These leaders had questioned Modi’s silence on Trump’s remarks as his weakness.
Such leaders may now understand whether it was proper on Modi’s part to engage in a verbal match with Trump in order to garner praise? Or, whether he should have focused on India’s interests by exercising patience?
As far as Trump is concerned, he spares no one. He made nasty remarks about his best friend Israeli PM Netanyahu. He cracked jokes about French President Macron. He used questionable words about Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin.
Trump does not believe in diplomatic niceties. There is a different method of engaging with him.
To exercise patience is not to surrender.
To flatter is to surrender. Those who know Modi well can say with conviction that he does not have the habit to flatter anybody.
Modi showed, he knows how to keep his cool. He did not mince words while speaking.
A few words about the G7 summit in France. Those who question India’s foreign policy of late, must know that India was given full access to the G7 summit this time. “Full access” means Prime Minister Modi sat with top leaders and he was part of the real power room. India was present in every room and in every discussion.
It was host France which gave India full access to the G7 summit. The US and other G7 members supported this.
Modi was neither an observer, nor an outsider. He was part of the real decision making process.
Normally G7 members are given partial access, but this time India got unlimited access.
For the G7 group, India was a preferred nation. This was the reason why some of those who were reporting the summit said it seemed to be a G8 summit.
Uddhav : Shantata, Defection Chalu Aahe!
After the split in Trinamool Congress, it is now the turn of Shiv Sena (UBT). Six out of its 9 Lok Sabha members are ready to jump ship and join Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena.
There are reports that these six MPs have told Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla of their intention to leave the party and join Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena.
Since two-third members have revolted, the anti-defection law shall not apply. None of these six rebel MPs have come out in the open and this is fuelling Uddhav Thackeray’s tension.
This is not the first time that defections of MPs and MLAs have taken place. This is also not the first time that central agencies were used and money was offered to jump ship.
There was a time when Congress was the master of the art of defections.
Bhajan Lal of Haryana defected with his entire group of MLAs from Janata Party and became the chief minister. Ajit Jogi of Chhattisgarh carried out defection of MLAs and joined a new party.
After Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi lost the 1977 Lok Sabha elections, Sanjay Gandhi engineered the split in the ruling Janata Party two years later and propped up Chaudhary Charan Singh as Prime Minister. Soon after, the rug was pulled from under his feet.
In 1990, Congress under Rajiv Gandhi played the main role in splitting V.P. Singh’s Janata Dal. He installed Chandra Shekhar as Prime Minister for four months, before the party withdrew support and Chandra Shekhar had to resign.
The difference this time is, BJP is doing this work with full vigour and in a scientific and planned manner.
BJP has mastered the art of winning elections and forming governments, while leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Uddhav Thackeray, Mamata Banerjee are treading the traditional path. They have the compulsion of promoting dynastic succession.
Some of these leaders consider it beneath their dignity to meet their own MLAs and MPs. They consider it an insult to listen to them.
For them, politics is not a full-time job. They need holidays for rest and recreation. That is why leaders in these parties have become restless and BJP is taking full advantage of this restlessness.
Leaders of parties that are facing splits are busy blaming the ED and CBI. In their spare time, they make reels for social media, while their MPs and MLAs are jumping ship. There is no treatment for this malady.
After Mamata, Uddhav, will it be Akhilesh’s turn?
After Bengal and Maharashtra, reports are coming from Uttar Pradesh about the possibility of some MPs going to leave Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party.
The first cannon was fired by state minister Om Prakash Rajbhar who said, senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav is leading a group of rebel MPs to join NDA.
UP deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya pitched in, saying 20 to 25 SP MPs are ready to quit their party, but BJP is yet to open its doors for them.
Akhilesh Yadav scotched all such speculations as baseless.
Akhilesh does not have the right to speak about Maurya. It was Akhilesh who had been prodding Maurya several times in the past to break away from BJP with 100 MLAs and topple Yogi Adityanath’s government. He had even offered the post of chief minister to Maurya.
Maurya has now squared up.
It may be difficult to trust the claims of Maurya and Rajbhar about the revolt that is going to take place, but did anybody ever dream about 64 out of 78 TMC MLAs and 20 TMC MPs going to quit Mamata Banerjee’s party within a span of one month ?
Mamata was confident till the last moment that her MPs and MLAs will not revolt.
Uddhav Thackeray had been claiming till Tuesday night that his MPs have taken oath in front of him, but soon after taking the vow, they sat in a private plane and their letter landed in Lok Sabha Speaker’s office.
Looking from this perspective, one can only say, anything can happen.
ट्रंप : मोदी ‘सरल-सुंदर PM’ हैं या ‘tough negotiator’?
सोलह महीने बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डॉनल्ड ट्रंप के बीच मुलाकात हुई, बातचीत हुई. ट्रंप ने मोदी को angel कहा, great friend बताया.
ट्रंप ने कहा, मोदी देखने में शांत लगते हैं, लेकिन सख्त प्रशासक हैं, tough negotiator हैं, मोदी को झुकाना आसान नहीं है.
ट्रंप ने कहा कि अगर कभी भारत पर हमला होता है, अमेरिका भारत का साथ देगा. लेकिन मोदी ने ट्रंप से साफ लफ्ज़ों में कहा कि समुद्र में जिस तरह भारतीय नाविकों को निशाना बनाया गया, वह गलत था, भारत को इस पर सख्त आपत्ति है.
मोदी ने कहा कि कोई कितना भी बड़ा और शक्तिशाली देश हो, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कानूनों का सम्मान सबको करना होगा.
ट्रंप ने कहा, उन्हें उम्मीद है भारत के साथ जल्द व्यापार समझौता हो जाएगा.
ट्रंप ने माना कि मोदी शांत और cool हैं, nice हैं, पर tough negotiator हैं, क्योंकि ट्रंप को इस बात का एहसास है कि उन्होंने मोदी के बारे में क्या-क्या नहीं कहा लेकिन मोदी ने पूरी मर्यादा के साथ उनके साथ डील की.
हमारे यहां कई लोग मोदी और ट्रंप की आपसी कैमिस्ट्री पर सवाल उठा रहे थे, ट्रंप की टिप्पणियों पर मोदी की खामोशी को कमजोरी बताते थे, उन्हें आज ट्रंप ने जवाब दे दिया.
अब उन लोगों को सोचना चाहिए कि क्या मोदी को ट्रंप के साथ तू-तू मैं-मैं में पड़कर वाहवाही लूटनी चाहिए थी ? या शांत और सौम्य रहकर संयम के साथ भारत के हितों पर फोकस करना चाहिए था ?
जहां तक ट्रंप का सवाल है, उन्होंने किसको छोड़ा ? अपने best friend इज़रायल के पीएम नेतन्याहू के बारे में क्या-क्या कहा ? फ्रांस के प्रधानमंत्री मैक्रों का मज़ाक उड़ाया. चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग और रूस के राष्ट्रपति पुतिन के बारे में किस तरह के शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया.
ट्रंप diplomacy में niceties में यकीन नहीं रखते, इसलिए उनके साथ डील करने का अलग तरीका है.
संयम बरतना सरेंडर नहीं होता. चापलूसी करना सरेंडर होता है और जो लोग मोदी को जानते हैं, वो इस बात की गारंटी देंगे कि चापलूसी करना मोदी की फितरत में नहीं है..
मोदी ने जता दिया कि वो cool दिखते हैं पर आँख में आँख डाल कर बात करना जानते हैं.
अब G7 summit के बारे में एक बात बता दूं.
भारत का मज़ाक उड़ाने वालों को समझना होगा कि इस बार के G-7 summit में भारत को full access दी गई है. full access का मतलब होता है, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी दुनिया के top leaders के साथ Real Power Room का हिस्सा हैं. भारत की उपस्थिति हर room में, हर Discussion में हो सकती है.
भारत को full access देने का फैसला मेज़बान फ्रांस ने किया. इसका अमेरिका समेत सभी देशों ने समर्थन किया.
नरेंद्र मोदी दुनिया के top leaders के साथ high table पर थे, ट्रंप के बगल में बैठे थे, ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री कीर स्टार्मर और EU के नेता back seat पर थे.
मोदी न Observer हैं, न Outsider हैं. वो real decision making का हिस्सा हैं. इसके पहले non G-7 members को partial access दिया जाता था, limited power दी जाती थी.
इस समय भारत के पास unlimited access है. G-7 के लिए भारत एक preferred nation है. इसलिए इस बार लोग कह रहे हैं कि ये G-7 नहीं, भारत की मौजूदगी के कारण G-8 है.
उद्धव सेना : शांतता, बगावत चालू आहे!
तृणमूल कांग्रेस के बाद अब उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना टूट की कगार पर है. शिवसेना UBT के 9 में से 6 सांसद एकनाथ शिन्दे के साथ जाने को तैयार हैं.
पता तो ये लगा है कि 6 सांसदों ने लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिरला को ये बता दिया है कि वो पार्टी से अलग होना चाहते हैं और एकनाथ शिंदे गुट वाली शिवसेना में विलय होना चाहते हैं.
चूंकि दो तिहाई सांसदों ने बगावत की है, इसलिए दल बदल कानून के तहत कोई एक्शन इन सांसदों पर नहीं हो सकता. इन 6 सांसदों में कोई भी अभी तक खुलकर सामने नहीं आया है, इसलिए उद्धव ठाकरे ज्यादा टेंशन में हैं.
पार्टी तोड़ना, सांसद-विधायकों को इधर से उधर करना, ये कोई नई बात नहीं है. Agencies का इस्तेमाल, पैसे का प्रलोभन, ये कोई पहली बार नहीं हो रहा.
एक ज़माने में कांग्रेस इस खेल की master हुआ करती थी. भजनलाल कैसे पूरी की पूरी पार्टी तोड़कर ले गए, अजीत जोगी ने कैसे विधायकों को तोड़कर एक पार्टी में विलय करवाया, ये सब तो रोज़ दिखाई देता था.
1977 के लोकसभा चुनाव में इंदिरा गांधी और संजय गांधी हार गए थे, लेकिन दो साल बाद जनता पार्टी को तोड़कर चौधरी चरण सिंह को प्रधानमंत्री बनाने और फिर गिराने में संजय गांधी का रोल था.
1990 में चंद्रशेखर को प्रधानमंत्री बनाने और हटाने में राजीव गांधी का रोल था, जोड़-तोड़ का लेवल बहुत हाई था.
अब फर्क इतना है कि BJP ये काम पूरी शिद्दत के साथ करती है, scientific तरीके से पूरी प्लानिंग के साथ करती है.
BJP ने चुनाव लड़ने-लड़ाने और सरकारें बनाने के art को master कर लिया है, जबकि राहुल गांधी, उद्धव ठाकरे, ममता बनर्जी जैसे नेता अभी पुराने परंपरागत तरीके पर चल रहे हैं.
उनके सामने परिवार को आगे बढ़ाने की मजबूरी है. वो अपने सांसदों-विधायकों से मिलना अपनी शान के खिलाफ समझते हैं. उनकी बात सुनना insult मानते हैं.
उनके लिए राजनीति full time job भी नहीं है. उन्हें छुट्टी भी चाहिए, आराम भी चाहिए, इसलिए इन पार्टियों में रहने वाले नेता बेचैन हैं और BJP इस बेचैनी का पूरा-पूरा फायदा उठा रही है और जो पार्टियां टूट रही हैं उनके नेता वोट चोरी और ED-CBI को दोष देते रह जाते हैं.
बचा हुआ टाइम वो रील बनाने में लगाते हैं और MP-MLAs नीचे से निकल जाते हैं. इसलिए इनका कोई इलाज नहीं है.
ममता, उद्धव के बाद अब क्या अखिलेश की बारी?
महाराष्ट्र और बंगाल के बाद यूपी में समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद अखिलेश का साथ छोड़ने को बेताब हैं, ऐसी खबरें आई हैं.
राज्य के मंत्री ओमप्रकाश राजभर ने कहा कि रामगोपाल यादव ही समाजवादी पार्टी के MPs को एनडीए के पाले में धकेल रहे हैं.
यूपी के डिप्टी सीएम केशव प्रसाद मौर्य ने भी कह दिया कि सपा के 20-25 सांसद टूटने को तैयार हैं, लेकिन बीजेपी ने अपने दरवाजे नहीं खोले हैं.
अखिलेश यादव ने इन सारी अटकलों को बेबुनियाद बताया. कहा, कि ये सही है कि बीजेपी ने पहले सपा के कई नेताओं को तोड़ा, लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं होगा.
सांसद तोड़ने के मामले में अखिलेश यादव को केशव प्रसाद मौर्य से शिकायत करने का हक नहीं है. वह कितनी बार मौर्य से योगी के खिलाफ बगावत करके 100 विधायक लाने को कह चुके हैं, उन्हें सीएम बनाने का लालच दे चुके हैं.
आज केशव प्रसाद मौर्य ने हिसाब बराबर कर लिया.
वैसे तो मौर्य और राजभर की इस बात पर यकीन करना मुश्किल है कि सपा के सांसद बगावत करने को तैयार बैठे हैं, लेकिन कौन सोच सकता था कि चुनाव के एक महीने के भीतर ममता के 78 में से 64 विधायक बगावत कर देंगे और 20 सांसद NDA के साथ चले जाएंगे ?
ममता तो ये मानकर बैठी थीं कि ऐसा नहीं हो सकता. उद्धव ठाकरे कल रात तक दावा कर रहे थे कि उनके सांसदों ने कसम खाई है कि कोई पार्टी नहीं छोड़ेगा, लेकिन कसम खाकर उनके सांसद private plane में बैठे और आज उनकी चिट्ठी लोकसभा के दफ्तर में land कर गई.
इस नजरिये से देखें तो कुछ भी हो सकता है.
