वामपंथी छात्र संगठन AISA की अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा ने दिल्ली के प्रोटेस्ट को बांग्लादेश में हुए तख्तापलट से कंपेयर किया. नेहा बोरा ने कहा, दिल्ली में जिस तरह GEN-Z सड़क पर उतरे, ये ठीक वैसा ही था जैसे बांग्लादेश में GEN-Z ने क्रांति की, दिल्ली प्रोटेस्ट की प्रेरणा उन्हें बांग्लादेश से मिली.

दिल्ली को ढाका बनाने का इरादा ख़तरनाक है. हिंसा से सरकार बदलने की साज़िश नापाक है. भारत कोई banana republic नहीं है. भारत में सरकारें जनता अपने वोट से बदलती हैं और जो लोग इस सिस्टम में विश्वास नहीं करते, उनका इलाज भी पब्लिक करती है. जंगलों में रहने वाले नक्सलियों का सफ़ाया करने में सरकार को 10 साल लग गए.

शहरों में ‘नक्सली मानसिकता’ रखने वाले अभी भी ग़लतफ़हमी में जी रहे हैं, लेकिन दिल्ली न ढाका है, न नेपाल. दुर्भाग्य की बात ये है कि हिंसा और अराजकता से सरकार बदलने का इरादा रखने वालों को गोद में बिठाकर राहुल गांधी ने अपनी पार्टी कांग्रेस को कटघरे में खड़ा कर दिया है. बांग्लादेश में शेख मुजीबुर्रहमान की सरकार इंदिरा गांधी ने बनवाई थी.

कांग्रेस ने कभी भी वहां की कट्टरपंथी इस्लामिक पार्टियों का समर्थन नहीं किया. कांग्रेस की विचारधारा कभी ख़ूनख़राबे से सरकार बदलने की नहीं रही, लेकिन अब राहुल गांधी जिन नेहा बोरा को अपने साथ लेकर चलते हैं, वह तो उन जिहादियों से प्रेरणा लेती हैं, जिन्होंने बांग्लादेश में हिंदुओं का क़त्लेआम किया था. क्या राहुल गांधी ऐसी जिहादी सोच का साथ देंगे ? क्या वो लेनिनवादी माओवादी संगठनों के रास्ते पर चलेंगे ? 

प्रशांत भूषण ने आंदोलन की पोल कैसे खोली?

वकील प्रशांत भूषण नेहा बोरा से भी दो कदम आगे निकल गए. उन्होंने कल खुलकर कहा कि इस आंदोलन का मकसद भारत में सत्ता परिवर्तन करना है, इसके लिए जो करना पड़ेगा वो करेंगे. प्रशांत भूषण नेहा बोरा और CJP नेता अभिजीत दिपके के साथ प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बोल रहे थे.

प्रशांत भूषण ने तो सारे प्रोटेस्ट की पोल खोल दी. जो लोग ‘वोट चोरी’ के नाम पर सड़कों पर उतरे थे, उनकी असलियत बता दी. बिल्ली थैले से बाहर आ गई. प्रशांत भूषण ने बता दिया कि साज़िश सरकार बदलने की है, बिना चुनाव के सत्ता परिवर्तन करने की है. क्या राहुल गांधी इस इरादे का समर्थन करेंगे ? दो दिन पहले वह प्रशांत भूषण के साथ खड़े थे. क्या भारत का लोकतंत्र अब दंगा कराने वालों के हवाले कर दिया जाएगा ? ये सवाल कांग्रेस से बार-बार पूछा जाएगा. 

तिरंगा कॉल : CJP वामपंथियों के आसरे

Cockroach Janta Party ने आज कनॉट प्लेस में तिरंगा फहराने की कॉल दी है. दिल्ली पुलिस ने सुरक्षा के पूरे इंतज़ाम किए हैं. जब तक CJP छात्रों के नाम पर लड़ाई लड़ रही थी, उसका थोड़ा बहुत प्रभाव था. कम से कम इंटरनेट पर तो उनके लिए समर्थन दिखाई देता था. ज़मीनी स्तर पर उनका अपना संगठन नहीं है. प्रोटेस्ट में लोग जुटाने के लिए CJP के लोग SFI, AISF और AISA जैसे कम्युनिस्ट संगठनों पर निर्भर करते हैं.

अब ये वामपंथी पिछले 10 दिनों से अपनी ताक़त कांग्रेस के साथ लगाए हुए हैं. इसीलिए अब CJP के तिरंगा लहराओ प्रोटेस्ट को ज्यादा समर्थन मिलना मुश्किल है. दिल्ली पुलिस का इरादा भी साफ है. इस प्रोटेस्ट की permission नहीं दी जाएगी, जो आएगा उसे रोका जाएगा. सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर तिरंगे के नाम पर लोगों को इकट्ठा नहीं होने दिया जाएगा.

Punjab is on the boil after the cold-blooded murder of anti-drugs activist Parvinder Singh Jhota. He was shot by a Mansa medical store owner Ashwini, who later fled to Rajasthan and was nabbed from there.

The act of murder was recorded live on camera. The evidence is there. The question now is: Was Ashwini Kumar alone in this racket or is there a drug mafia active behind him?

Parvinder had challenged the medical store owner, seconds before he was murdered. Parvinder knew that drugs were being sold at the medical store. He had evidence with him. If Ashwini had been caught with evidence of drugs at his medical store, he would have been forced to name the supplier.

He would have been forced to reveal which other medical stores were selling drugs. Questions would have been asked whether he had political protection or not. It is not too late. These questions can still be asked now. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s promise that the guilty will be punished, is not sufficient.

He will have to expose the drag mafia working behind this murder. He would have to order a probe into the drugs supply chain working in the state.

But the problem is: people have lost trust in Punjab Police. That is why, the demand for a CBI probe is gaining ground. Secondly, assembly elections are due soon and most of the political parties are trying to corner the Chief Minister.

Nobody is going to believe in his promise

Jantar Mantar protest: Can’t ignore harassment to public

There is another aspect to the year-round protests that used to take place at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The Home Ministry recently denotified Jantar Mantar as the protest site, and has declared three other places in Delhi as protest sites.

Several hundred families have heaved a sigh of relief after this order. They are those who have shops near Jantar Mantar and some have residences nearby. These businessmen had been complaining that their trade had come to a standstill because of protests at Jantar Mantar.

The common people who either live near Jantar Mantar or pass through that place have been facing woes because of such protests. In democracy, every citizen has the right to protest. But, if, in the name of protests, people occupy the place and spread anarchy, then such protests do not come within the ambit of democracy.

Who will decide where and how protests should be allowed? If protesters have to decide this, then they will have to take the responsibility to ensure that protests are peaceful and residents and traders in the vicinity are not subject to harassment.

If the right to protest is democratic, the fundamental rights of citizens must also be protected.

पंजाब में नशे के ख़िलाफ़ मुहिम चलाने वाले परविंदर सिंह के हत्यारे अश्विनी ने कैमरे पर गोलियां चलाई थीं, उसके गुनाह का सबूत सबके सामने है, इसलिए उसका पकड़ा जाना लाज़िमी है. पर सवाल ये है कि क्या अश्विनी कुमार अकेला है या उसके पीछे पंजाब का ड्रग माफ़िया है ?

परविंदर ने मेडिकल स्टोर पर जाकर नशे के कारोबारी को चैलेंज किया था. परविंदर जानता था कि मेडिकल स्टोर पर नशा बिकता है. उसके पास सबूत था. अगर अश्विनी के स्टोर से ड्रग्स पकड़ी जाती तो उसे बताना पड़ता कि ड्रग्स का सप्लायर कौन है ? ये भी बताना पड़ता कि और किस-किस मेडिकल स्टोर पर ड्रग्स बिकती है ? उससे ये भी पूछा जाता कि क्या उसे किसी का राजनीतिक संरक्षण मिला हुआ है ? लेकिन अभी भी देर नहीं हुई है. ये सवाल तो अभी भी पूछे जा सकते हैं.

मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान का ये बयान काफ़ी नहीं है कि दोषियों को कड़ी सज़ा दी जाएगी, उन्हें इस हत्या के पीछे के ड्रग माफ़िया को expose करना पड़ेगा. मेडिकल स्टोर्स पर बिकने वाले ड्रग्स की supply chain के बारे में जांच करानी होगी लेकिन समस्या ये है कि लोगों को पंजाब पुलिस पर भरोसा नहीं है. इसीलिए CBI जांच की मांग की जा रही है. दूसरी बात ये है कि चूंकि पंजाब में चुनाव होने वाले हैं तो सारी राजनीतिक पार्टियां मुख्यमंत्री को घेरने में लगी हैं, कोई उनकी बात पर भरोसा नहीं करेगा.

जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन: जनता की दिक्कत भी देखो

जंतर-मंतर पर लगातार होने वाले हंगामे और प्रदर्शनों का एक दूसरा पहलू भी है. सरकार ने जंतर-मंतर को प्रोटेस्ट site के रूप में डिनोटिफाई कर दिया है. इस फैसले से सैकड़ों परिवारों ने राहत की सांस ली है. ये वो परिवार हैं, जिनकी दुकानें जंतर-मंतर के आसपास के इलाकों में हैं, किसी का घर है, किसी का बिजनेस है.

इन लोगों का कहना है कि प्रोटेस्ट के नाम पर जंतर-मंतर पर होने वाले हंगामे से उनका काम-धंधा चौपट हो रहा था. जंतर-मंतर के आसपास रहने वालों और दुकान चलाने वालों की बात सुनकर तो साफ़ लगता है कि जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन से आम जनता को परेशानी होती है, व्यापारियों के काम का नुक़सान होता है. लोकतंत्र में प्रदर्शन का अधिकार है, लेकिन अगर प्रदर्शन का मक़सद सिर्फ़ जगह घेरकर अराजकता फैला कर सरकार को मजबूर करना हो, तो वह प्रदर्शन लोकतंत्र के दायरे में नहीं आ सकता.

प्रदर्शन करने की जगह कहां हो, कैसी हो, इसका फ़ैसला कौन करेगा ? अगर ये प्रदर्शन करने वालों को तय करना है तो फिर उन्हें इस बात की ज़िम्मेदारी भी लेनी होगी कि सबकुछ शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से होगा, इलाक़े में रहने वालों और कारोबार करने वालों को कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी. अगर प्रदर्शन करने वालों का लोकतांत्रिक अधिकार है तो फिर जनता के मौलिक अधिकारों की रक्षा भी होनी चाहिए.

In a strong rebuttal to Rahul Gandhi, Home Minister Amit Shah opened up for the first time, eight days after protests against CEC Gyanesh Kumar and SIR.

Amit Shah advised Rahul Gandhi to introspect rather than try to link Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity with SIR. Shah reminded how Congress failed to win a single election in Gujarat in the last 41 years.

For good measure, Amit Shah predicted that the BJP-led NDA would win the 2029 Lok Sabha elections and Rahul Gandhi should prepare himself to face defeat. The local body elections in Gujarat held recently clearly indicate that Rahul Gandhi’s campaign has practically no effect on the ground level.

A leader or a party’s popularity is measured through elections. It does not matter how many reels one made against whom and how a campaign was conducted on social media.

The clean sweep BJP made in Amit Shah’s parliamentary constituency Gandhinagar, is clear proof that Narendra Modi’s popularity has not waned. The assembly and LS byelection results from Assam and West Bengal also went in favour of BJP.

An election result is the most authentic proof of popularity compared to any political party’s internal assessment or an opinion poll. What bigger proof can there be in a democracy?

Amit Shah gave several proofs; he named the states where Congress failed to win in the last 30 to 40 years. There was no Gyanesh Kumar at that time in the Election Commission.

Amit Shah rightly commented that an 8,000 crowd in Delhi cannot change ground realities. 

Piyush Goyal reminds Congress about past CECs

But Rahul Gandhi continues to march to the beat of his own drum. He invited INDIA bloc opposition leaders and civil society activists to tea at his residence. It was decided to continue the movement for seeking resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and withdrawal of SIR.

Rahul Gandhi told the gathering, “no matter what time it takes, the movement against Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Gyanesh Kumar and Mohan Bhagwat will continue”.

 Responding to this, Union Minister Piyush Goyal posed 10 questions to Rahul Gandhi. Goyal reminded him how previous Congress regimes appointed a former CEC as Governor, another CEC as cabinet minister and gave party ticket to a third CEC to contest elections.

Goyal asked why Rahul Gandhi is trying to cover up these misdeeds of previous Congress regimes. BJP has changed its strategy for responding to Rahul’s allegations.

Earlier, whenever Rahul Gandhi used to level charges against ECI and indirectly tried to corner the ruling party, BJP leaders preferred to remain silent lest people might think that the party is trying to shield the Election Commission.

But, in the last 3-4 days, senior BJP leaders have been giving point-by-point rebuttal to Rahul Gandhi’s charges. Piyush Goyal has exposed Congress’s double standards.

In response to Rahul’s charge that Gyanesh Kumar has been helping the BJP, Goyal named past CECs like T. N. Seshan, Navin Chawla and M. S. Gill, whom Congress made minister, governor and gave party tickets to contest.

Piyush Goyal also named those Congress leaders who had demanded Special Intensive Revision. He challenged Rahul Gandhi to go to court if he has evidence of ‘vote theft’.

It would have been better if such debates were held inside Parliament, but Rahul Gandhi stalled the functioning of Parliament as part of a deliberate plan. Otherwise, every query about ECI would have been answered.

गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने राहुल गांधी को क़रारा जवाब दिया. पिछले 8 दिन से दिल्ली में हो रहे प्रोटेस्ट के बाद पहली बार अमित शाह का बयान आया. अमित शाह ने राहुल गांधी को नसीहत दी कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की लोकप्रियता को SIR से जोड़ने की बजाए उन्हें आत्ममंथन करना चाहिए.

अमित शाह ने बताया, कैसे गुजरात में कांग्रेस पिछले 41 साल से एक भी चुनाव नहीं जीत पाई. अमित शाह ने कहा कि 2029 में भी मोदी के नेतृत्व में बीजेपी और NDA की जीत होगी और राहुल गांधी को अभी से हार का मन बना लेना चाहिए. गुजरात में स्थानीय निकाय के चुनाव के नतीजे एक बात साबित करते हैं कि राहुल गांधी के campaign का ground पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ा.

किसी भी नेता या पार्टी की लोकप्रियता का पैमाना चुनाव होते हैं. इस बात से कोई फ़र्क़ नहीं पड़ता कि उसके ख़िलाफ़ कितनी reels बनती हैं, सोशल मीडिया में कैसा campaign चलता है. अमित शाह के संसदीय क्षेत्र गांधीनगर में BJP की एकतरफ़ा जीत इस बात का सबूत है कि नरेन्द्र मोदी की लोकप्रियता बरक़रार है. पिछले हफ़्ते असम और पश्चिम बंगाल में भी ऐसे ही नतीजे आए थे.

चुनाव का नतीजा किसी भी राजनीतिक दल के internal assessment से या किसी भी opinion poll से ज़्यादा authentic proof होता है. लोकतंत्र में इससे बड़ा सबूत और क्या हो सकता है ? अमित शाह ने ऐसे कई proof दिए, वो राज्य गिनाए जहां कांग्रेस 30-30 साल से 40-40 साल से, चुनाव नहीं जीत पाई. तब तो वहां कोई ज्ञानेश कुमार नहीं थे. अमित शाह ने ठीक कहा 8000 की भीड़ का शोर ज़मीनी हक़ीक़त को नहीं बदल सकता. 

पीयूष गोयल ने कांग्रेस को क्या याद दिलाया?

राहुल गांधी अपनी ही धुन में मशगूल हैं. एक बार फिर इंडिया ब्लॉक के नेताओं के साथ राहुल ने मीटिंग की. तय हुआ कि ज्ञानेश कुमार और SIR के खिलाफ जंग जारी रहेगी. राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि वक्त चाहे जितना लगे, वो नरेंद्र मोदी, अमित शाह, ज्ञानेश कुमार और मोहन भागवत के खिलाफ मोर्चा जारी रखेंगे. जवाब में केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने राहुल से 10 सवाल पूछे.

पीयूष गोयल ने बताया कि कैसे कांग्रेस ने अपने समय में एक चीफ इलेक्शन कमिश्नर को गवर्नर बनाया, दूसरे CEC को कैबिनेट मंत्री बनाया, तीसरे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त को पार्टी का टिकट दिया, लेकिन आज राहुल गांधी कांग्रेस शासन की करतूतों पर पर्दा डाल रहे हैं. BJP ने अब राहुल को जवाब देने की रणनीति बदली है. पहले राहुल गांधी चुनाव आयोग पर आरोप लगाते थे, परोक्ष रूप से BJP को corner करते थे लेकिन BJP के बड़े नेता ख़ामोश रहते थे, ये सोचकर कि, वो राहुल को जवाब देंगे तो चुनाव आयोग की वकालत करते नज़र आएंगे. लेकिन पिछले तीन चार दिन से BJP के बड़े नेता अब राहुल गांधी को बिंदुवार जवाब दे रहे हैं.

पीयूष गोयल ने कांग्रेस के दोहरे मानदंड का पर्दाफाश किया. राहुल गांधी ज्ञानेश कुमार पर BJP की मदद करने का आरोप लगाते हैं तो पीयूष गोयल ने टी.एन.शेषन, नवीन चावला और एम.एस.गिल जैसे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्तों के नाम गिनवा दिए, जिन्हें कांग्रेस ने चुनाव लड़वाया, मंत्री बनाया, राज्यपाल बनाया. पीयूष गोयल ने कांग्रेस के उन नेताओं के नाम भी गिनवा दिए जिन्होंने SIR की मांग की थी और ये भी पूछा कि अगर राहुल गांधी के पास ‘वोट चोरी’ के प्रमाण हैं तो वो court को क्यों नहीं देते ? दरअसल इस तरह के सारे मुद्दों पर संसद में बहस होती तो अच्छा होता लेकिन राहुल गांधी ने सोची-समझी रणनीति के तहत संसद नहीं चलने दी, वरना चुनाव आयोग से जुड़े हर सवाल का जवाब मिल जाता.

Two questions. One, what did Rahul Gandhi and his allies plan to achieve by giving a memorandum to the Supreme Court? What were their motives? Two, Why did the Chief Justice of India decline to meet the opposition leaders?

What lessons did he give to Rahul Gandhi? First, the CJI. Chief Justice Surya Kant clearly explained to Rahul Gandhi that meetings with political leaders are not held in the Supreme Court. It is a place where cases are heard and the date and time are fixed by the court.

Supreme Court is not Jantar Mantar, where you just stray in, hand over your memorandum of allegations and later hold the hon’ble judges guilty. The court runs by the Constitution. Those who flaunt the Constitution of India book must know its basic rules.

On a matter which is to be heard the next day, isn’t holding a march an attempt to put pressure on the Supreme Court? Had any other outfit taken out a march on the eve of such a crucial hearing, allegations would have been levelled that the court is being intimidated.

The Supreme Court made it clear, one needs facts and evidence to fight one’s case in court. You can’t level charges in thin air. Rahul Gandhi will now have to submit proof and evidence. I remember, two years ago, when Congress and its allies were defeated in Maharashtra and Haryana, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference and levelled charges against the ECI.

When asked why he was not going to court if he had evidence, Rahul replied: “That’s not my job”. What has changed so much now that he is seeking the shelter of the court? Has he now got entangled in his own trap?

Another attempt was made to put pressure on the court. Keralam Congress posted on X openly threatening CJI Surya Kant. In its tweet, Keralam Congress wrote: “Dear Surya Kant, if law and order is not your domain, resign now. We will find your replacement who can handle it.”

The post was quickly removed from the timeline after BJP raised objections. Trying to intimidate the Chief Justice of India is shameful. It is clear that the Congress is following a policy of putting pressure on the CJI in the Election Commission issue.

It has been noticed that whenever there is no substantive evidence to prove charges, such tactics are adopted. 

What is Rahul Gandhi’s real agenda?

When Prashant Kishore came to my show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, he said, he was surprised to find Rahul Gandhi brimming with confidence despite losing so many elections. Things remain the same.

Rahul went to Rashtrapati Bhavan and then claimed that the President has supported the charge of ‘vote chori’ (vote theft). Rahul Gandhi claimed that he gets insider information from the Election Commission. Yesterday, he claimed, nearly 50 per cent policemen are his informers.

He also claimed that nearly 200 officers in Modi’s government provide him with insider information. There is not a shred of evidence to substantiate such claims. Arvind Kejriwal used to make such claims. He used to flaunt a paper claiming he has the IB (Intelligence Bureau) report with him.

He predicted that once Lok Sabha elections are over, Narendra Modi will remove Yogi Adityanath. These claims are meaningless because insider information in Modi’s government is never leaked. This is no secret. The question is not about claims only.

The agenda is bigger: Do not allow Parliament to run, allege that the judiciary is working under pressure of government, discredit the media, close all doors for dialogue, raise an army of YouTubers who peddle half-truths and half-lies, and fire the gun from the shoulders of youth. Such things do not last.

Two things are required to make a movement successful. One, the leadership must have moral force and Two, the issues that are raised must be backed by facts and evidence. Reels made by YouTubers cannot be the alternative. Answers to questions cannot be given through theatrics.

There are several questions relating to the working of the Election Commission. These questions require answers. But infighting in the ECI cannot be portrayed as ‘vote chori’ or become the excuse for losing elections frequently.

दो सवाल हैं: एक तो ये कि क्या राहुल गांधी और उनके साथी दलों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में ज्ञापन देकर क्या हासिल करना चाहते थे ? उनका इरादा क्या है ? दूसरा, भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने विपक्षी नेताओं से मिलने से क्यों इनकार किया ?

राहुल गांधी को क्या नसीहत दी ? पहले CJI की बात. Chief Justice सूर्यकांत ने राहुल गांधी को समझा दिया कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट में मीटिंग नहीं होती, यहां केस की सुनवाई होती है जिसके लिए समय और तारीख़ कोर्ट तय करता है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट कोई जंतर-मंतर नहीं है, जहां आप टहलते हुए चले जाएं. अपने आरोपों की चिट्ठी सौंप दें. और बाद में जज साहिबान को दोषी ठहराएं.

कोर्ट संविधान से चलता है. संविधान की किताब दिखाने वालों को ये basic rule तो पता होने चाहिए थे. जिस मामले की अगले दिन सुनवाई होनी है, उस पर प्रोटेस्ट मार्च निकालना क्या सुप्रीम कोर्ट पर pressure डालने की कोशिश नहीं है ?

अगर किसी और ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में केस आने से पहले एक बयान भी दे दिया होता , तो यही लोग कहते कि कोर्ट को धमकाने की कोशिश की जा रही है. लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बता दिया कि यहां केस लड़ने के लिए तथ्यों और प्रमाण की ज़रूरत होती है. हवा में बात नहीं की जा सकती. अब राहुल गांधी को अपने आरोपों के सबूत देने होंगे.

मुझे याद है, दो साल पहले जब हरियाणा और महाराष्ट्र में कांग्रेस की हार हुई थी तो राहुल गांधी ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करके अपनी हार के लिए चुनाव आयोग पर आरोप लगाए थे. उस समय उनसे पूछा गया था कि अगर आपके पास सबूत हैं तो आप कोर्ट क्यों नहीं जाते तो राहुल ने कहा था, That’s not my job (ये मेरा काम नहीं है). पर अब ऐसा क्या बदल गया कि उन्हें कोर्ट की शरण में जाना पड़ा ?

क्या वो अपने बिछाए जाल में फंस गए ? कोर्ट पर दबाव बनाने की एक और कोशिश हुई. केरलम कांग्रेस ने ट्विटर पर एक पोस्ट डाला, जिसमें मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस सूर्यकांत को खुलेआम धमकी दी गई. इस ट्वीट में केरलम कांग्रेस ने लिखा, “ डियर सूर्यकांत, अगर लॉ एंड ऑर्डर आपके अधिकार क्षेत्र में नहीं है, तो आप तुरंत रिजाइन कर दें. हम आपकी जगह किसी दूसरे की तलाश कर लेंगे, जो इसे अच्छी तरह हैंडल कर सकता हो”.

जब बीजेपी ने इस पोस्ट पर आपत्ति उठाई तो इस tweet को केरलम कांग्रेस की timeline से हटा लिया गया. लेकिन भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश को धमकी देना शर्मनाक है. ये संविधान के खिलाफ है . ये देखा गया है कि जब किसी के पास अपने आरोपों को साबित करने के लिए पुख़्ता सबूत नहीं होते तब इस तरह के हथकंडे अपनाए जाते हैं. 

राहुल गांधी का असली एजेंडा क्या है?

जब प्रशांत किशोर ‘आप की अदालत’ में आए थे तो उन्होंने कहा था कि वह ये देख कर हैरान होते हैं कि इतनी बार चुनाव हारने के बावजूद राहुल गांधी इतने confidence से कैसे बात कर पाते हैं. ये बात आज भी वैसी की वैसी है .

राहुल राष्ट्रपति भवन गए, तो उन्होंने दावा किया कि राष्ट्रपति ने ‘वोट चोरी’ को support कर दिया. वो कहते हैं कि चुनाव आयोग के अंदर से उन्हें सारी जानकारी मिलती है. कल कहा कि 50 प्रतिशत पुलिसवाले उनके informer और supporter हैं.

ये भी दावा किया कि मोदी सरकार के 200 अफसर उनको गुप्त सूचनाएं देते हैं. अब इन दावों का कोई सबूत नहीं है. केजरीवाल भी इसी तरह की बातें करते थे. किसी कागज़ को दिखा कर कहते थे मेरे पास IB की रिपोर्ट है . उन्होंने कहा था कि लोक सभा चुनाव के बाद मोदी जी योगी को हट देंगे .

ये बातें इसलिया बेमानी हैं क्योंकि मोदी सरकार में अंदर की कोई बात लीक नहीं होती. और ये कोई secret नहीं है . लेकिन बात सिर्फ़ दावों की नहीं है. एजेंडा इससे कहीं बड़ा है. संसद को चलने मत दो, Judiciary को सरकार के दबाव में बताओ, मीडियो को discredit करो, बहस, संवाद और बातचीत के सारे रास्ते बंद कर दो, Youtubers की आधा सच, आधा झूठ बोलने वाली फ़ौज खड़ी कर दो, युवाओं के कंधे पर रख कर बंदूक़ चलाओ.

पर ये चीजें लंबे समय तक नहीं चलती. किसी भी आंदोलन के सफल होने के लिए दो चीजें ज़रूरी हैं – नेतृत्व में नैतिक बल हो और जो मुद्दा उठाया जाए, उसके पीछे तथ्य हों, प्रमाण हों. Youtubers की REELS जनाधार का विकल्प नहीं हो सकतीं.

ड्रामेबाज़ी से सवालों के जवाब नहीं दिए जा सकते. चुनाव आयोग के काम करने के तरीकों को लेकर बहुत सारे सवाल हैं, उनके जवाब मिलने चाहिए, लेकिन चुनाव आयोग में अंदरूनी टकराव का मतलब वोटों की हेराफेरी नहीं हो सकता, बार-बार चुनाव हारने वालों का बहाना नहीं हो सकता.

The question that is in the minds of most people is: Why did police carry out a major crackdown to prevent protest by Cockroach Janata Party at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar? Was police afraid of breakdown of law and order? The ground reality is, Delhi Police does not want commit the mistakes that were done earlier in July during the NEET paper leak agitation. The CJP was given permission for a day’s protest at Jantar Mantar, but the protest lasted 17 days.

In July, the issue was emotional. It was related to students following NEET paper leak. This time, the issue is political. It is yet to touch the emotional chords of common people. Political parties are more interested in this agitation. They have their workers and YouTubers are playing a major role. Intelligence agencies had informed police that the protesters this time planned to lay siege to Central Delhi, provoke police through violence and create a big narrative through internet. This was the reason why protesters were stopped at several places. Police did not hide anything.

Police told public in advance, where restrictions are in place. Last time, many people with criminal records reached Jantar Mantar. This time, they are being picked up. These bad characters had attacked police personnel last time, damaged police vehicles and destroyed public property. The ultimate victims are the common people, who have nothing to do with politics or this protest. If trains are cancelled, Metro stations are closed, barricades are put on roads, the common people are the ones who are hit the hardest. They cannot go out for their urgent personal work. 

India’s interest : Who is better? Musk or Ambani?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not take the right step by posting a ‘welcome’ to Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and owner of Starlink. In most of the countries today, governments prefer their own industrialists and try to promote their own businessmen. If Rahul Gandhi dislikes Narendra Modi, he can continue with his protest, which he is already doing, but in the name of Modi, there must be no attempt to harm the national interest. As far as Mukesh Ambani is concerned, I remember those days in the Eighties, when Indian Express headlined its story “Indira Gandhi As Commerce”. The newspaper, at that time, had carried out a campaign against the then PM Indira Gandhi and made Dhirubhai Ambani its excuse.

At that time, allegations were made that the government of the day was making tailor-made policies to favour Dhirubhai Ambani. Nothing was later proved. A few figures will suffice to describe Mukesh Ambani’s role in Indian economy. In the last five years, Reliance Industries paid Rs 9.78 lakh crores ($100 billion) to the government through taxes, duties and levies and invested Rs 6.48 lakh crore in different projects in India. Mukesh Ambani’s companies provided job opportunities to nearly four lakh people. US President Donald Trump laid out a red carpet to invite Mukesh Ambani to set up an oil refinery in America. And here, we are labelling our businessmen as crony capitalists. Let us all think for once: Whose interests will be harmed? The people? Jobs? Development? India? We should also think whether it will be right to support Elon Musk compared to Mukesh Ambani? 

Why is Trump so eager for a Nobel Peace Prize?

It is surprising why US President Donald Trump is so desperate for a Nobel Peace Prize. What is the necessity of reminding again and again how many wars and conflicts he has stopped? Why did Trump say that the credibility of Nobel Peace Prize will be questioned if he was not conferred the award?

Is Trump showering praise on Pakistan because the Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif nominated him for Nobel Peace Prize several times? Personally, I think, to become the President of the United States is, in itself, a big achievement. This cannot be compared with the Nobel Peace Prize. When Trump goes on and on claiming he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, it becomes difficult for people to digest.

सबके मन में सवाल है कि पुलिस ने Cockroach Janta Party के प्रोटेस्ट को रोकने के लिए इतनी सख़्ती क्यों की? क्या पुलिस को कोई डर है? असल में पुलिस इस बार पहले जैसी ग़लती नहीं करना चाहती. पिछली बार उसने CJP को एक दिन के लिए परमिशन दी थी, पर 17 दिन तक धरना प्रदर्शन चलता रहा.

दूसरी बात, तब मुद्दा छात्रों से जुड़ा था, Emotional था. इस बार मामला राजनीतिक है. इसमें आम पब्लिक का emotion नहीं है. ज़्यादा दिलचस्पी राजनीतिक पार्टियों की है, पर सबके पास कार्यकर्ता हैं. इसमें YouTubers की बड़ी भूमिका है. इंटेलीजेंस एजेंसियों की सूचना है कि प्रोटेस्ट करने वालों का प्लान सेंट्रल दिल्ली को seize करने का है, पुलिस को provoke करने का है, Internet के ज़रिए माहौल बनाने का है. इसी से बचने के लिए प्रदर्शनकारियों को अलग-अलग जगहों पर रोकने का प्लान है.

पुलिस ने कुछ छुपाया नहीं है. कहां-कहां रोक है, कहां-कहां पाबंदी है, ये सब पब्लिक को खुलकर बताया है. पिछली बार बड़ी संख्या में ऐसे लोग जंतर-मंतर पहुंच गए थे जिनका criminal record था. ऐसे लोगों को भी दूर रखने की तैयारी है क्योंकि इसी तरह के लोगों ने पुलिस पर हमला किया था, पुलिस की गाड़ियों में तोड़फोड़ की थी और सार्वजनिक संपत्ति को नुक़सान पहुंचाया था. लेकिन इस पूरे मामले में सबसे ज़्यादा नुक़सान उन लोगों का है, जिनका न protest से लेना-देना है, न राजनीति से. ट्रेन रुकें, मेट्रो बंद हों, सड़क पर barricades लगें, सबसे ज़्यादा परेशानी आम आदमी को होती है जो अपने काम के लिए बाहर जाता है.

भारत के हित में कौन? एलन मस्क या मुकेश अंबानी?

 कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने SpaceX के CEO और Starlink के मालिक एलन मस्क को welcome कहकर अच्छा नहीं किया. आजकल हर देश अपने उद्योगपति का support करता है, अपने देश के businessman को promote करता है. अगर उन्हें मोदी पसंद नहीं तो राजनीतिक विरोध कर सकते हैं और कर ही रहे हैं, लेकिन मोदी के चक्कर में देश को नुक़सान पहुंचाने की कोशिश नहीं करनी चाहिए. जहां तक मुकेश अंबानी का सवाल है, मुझे 1980 का वो दशक याद है जब Indian Express की headline थी ‘Indira Gandhi as commerce’. Indian Express ने उस समय की प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी के ख़िलाफ़ अभियान चलाया था और उसमें धीरूभाई अंबानी को बहाना बनाया था.

कहा गया था कि उस समय की सरकार ने अंबानी के लिए tailor-made policies बनाईं. बाद में कुछ भी साबित नहीं हुआ. सिर्फ़ एक-दो आंकड़ों से अंदाज़ा हो जाएगा कि मुकेश अंबानी का रोल क्या है. पिछले पांच साल में Reliance Industries ने taxes, duties और levies के माध्यम से सरकार को 9.78 लाख करोड़ रुपये (100 अरब dollars) दिए हैं, देश में अलग-अलग projects में 6.48 लाख करोड़ रुपये invest किए हैं.

मुकेश अंबानी की कंपनियों ने क़रीब 4 लाख लोगों को नौकरियां दी हैं. डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने मुकेश अंबानी को अमेरिका में refinery लगाने के लिए red carpet बिछाकर invite किया और हम अपने businessman को crony capitalist कह रहे हैं. एक बार सोचना चाहिए कि इसमें किसका नुक़सान है? जनता का? jobs का? विकास का? देश का? ये भी सोचना चाहिए कि क्या मुकेश अंबानी के मुक़ाबले एलन मस्क को support करना ठीक होगा? 

ट्रंप नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार के लिए इतने उतावले क्यों? 

कभी कभी ये सोचकर हैरानी होती है कि अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप Nobel Peace Prize के लिए इतने बेताब क्यों हैं ? उन्हें बार बार ये जताने की क्या ज़रूरत कि उन्होंने कितनी जंग रुकवाई ? उन्होंने ये क्यों कहा कि अगर उन्हें Nobel Peace Prize नहीं मिला तो इस award की विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल उठेंगे?

ट्रंप क्या पाकिस्तान पर इसीलिए इतने मेहरबान हो गए कि शहबाज़ शरीफ़ ने कई बार उन्हें Nobel Peace Prize के लिए nominate किया. मुझे तो लगता है कि अमेरिका का राष्ट्रपति होना अपने आप में इतनी बड़ी बात है, उसके सामने Nobel Peace Prize क्या है ? लेकिन तो भी राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप बार-बार अपने आप को इस शांति पुरस्कार का हकदार बताते हैं, ये बात किसी के गले नहीं उतरती.
