एशिया कप में भारत ने पाकिस्तान को हराया, लेकिन टीम इंडिया को ट्रॉफी नहीं मिली. टीम इंडिया ने जीत का जश्न ट्रॉफी के बगैर मनाया. टीम इंडिया ने एशियन क्रिकेट कौंसिल के अध्यक्ष मोहसिन नकवी के हाथ से ट्रॉफी लेने से इन्कार कर दिया. मोहसिन नकवी पाकिस्तान के गृह मंत्री हैं, और भारत के खिलाफ बेसिर-पैर के बयान देते रहते हैं.
आयोजकों ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात क्रिकेट बोर्ड के उपाध्यक्ष खालिद अल जरूनी के हाथों टीम इंडिया को ट्रॉफी देने का सुझाव दिया, टीम इंडिया तैयार हो गई, पर पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के चीफ इस बात पर अड़ गए कि टीम इंडिया को ट्रॉफी मैं दूंगा.
कप्तान सूर्य कुमार यादव और उनकी टीम मैदान पर मौजूद थी. घोषणा होती रही, लेकिन कोई कप और मेडल लेने नहीं गया. थोड़ी देर बाद मोहसिन नकवी मुंह लटका कर मैदान से बाहर निकल गए लेकिन जाते जाते एशिया कप ट्रॉफी और भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को मिलने वाले मेडल अपने साथ ले गए. अब BCCI ने ICC को चिट्ठी लिखकर मोहसिन नकवी की हरकत पर सख्त आपत्ति जताई है.
पूरी दुनिया में पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड की इस हरकत का मजाक उड़ाया गया है. हजारों मीम्स बने लेकिन मोहसिन नकवी को बिलकुल शर्म नहीं आई. वो अभी भी टीम इंडिया की जीत का कप अपने पास रखकर बैठे हैं. पाकिस्तान में भी क्रिकेट टीम और मोहसिन नकवी का खूब मजाक उड़ाया जा रहा है.
पाकिस्तान के लोग ही अब कह रहे हैं कि जैसे आसिम मुनीर ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में झूठी जीत का दावा किया था, वैसे ही अब मोहसिन नकवी ये कहेंगे कि तीनों मैच हमने जीते हैं, ट्रॉफी हम लेकर आए हैं. भारत में टीम इंडिया की जीत का जश्न कल पूरी रात मनाया गया.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने टीम को जीत की बधाई देते हुए लिखा कि खेल के मैदान में भी ऑपरेशन सिंदूर…नतीजा वही….भारत की जीत.
इस अंदाज में मोदी की बधाई पर सूर्य कुमार यादव ने कहा कि जब देश का नेता फ्रंट फुट पर आकर खेलता है, तो टीम की जीत तो पक्की हो जाती है.
आखिर ये सारी बातें हद से बाहर क्यों निकल गई?
भारत का स्टैंड पहले दिन से साफ था, वो किसी पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ी या अधिकारी के साथ किसी तरह का कोई इंटर-एक्शन नहीं करेंगे. एशिया कप के साथ पाकिस्तानी टीम के कप्तान सलमान अली आगा ने अकेले फोटो खिंचवाई, सूर्य कुमार यादव वहां नहीं गए. इसके बाद सूर्य कुमार यादव ने टॉस के दौरान सलमान अली से हैंडशेक करने से इनकार कर दिया. जसप्रीत बुमराह ने जब हारिस रउफ को आउट किया तो रऊफ के प्लेन गिराने के एक्शन का मजाक उड़ाया.
मैदान में पुरस्तार समारोह की तैयारी हो रही थी. प्रेज़ेंटर न्यूज़ीलैंड के पूर्व क्रिकेटर साइमन डूल थे. एशियन क्रिकेट काउंसिल और पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष मोहसिन नक़वी ट्रॉफी देने के लिए मैदान पर पहुंच गए. कुछ देर बाद सूर्य कुमार यादव पूरी टीम के साथ ग्राउंड पर आए.
साइमन डूल ने घोषणा की कि भारत के खिलाड़ियों ने फ़ैसला किया है कि वो ACC चेयरमैन मोहसिन नक़वी से ट्रॉफी नहीं लेंगे. इसलिए भारतीय टीम अपना अवार्ड आज कलेक्ट नहीं करेगी.
मोहसिन नक़वी पाकिस्तान के आर्मी चीफ आसिम मुनीर के बेहद क़रीबी है. आसिम मुनीर ने ही मोहसिन नकवी को PCB का अध्यक्ष और पाकिस्तान का गृह मंत्री बनवाया है. इसीलिए भारतीय टीम ने तय किया कि वो मोहसिन नक़वी से ट्रॉफी नहीं लेगी.
हालांकि तिलक वर्मा, प्लेयर ऑफ़ द मैच का अवार्ड लेने स्टेज पर गए. अभिषेक शर्मा, प्लेयर ऑफ़ द टूर्नामेंट का और कुलदीप यादव most valuable player का individual अवार्ड लेने मंच के पास ज़रूर गए लेकिन, उन्होंने मोहसिन नक़वी को पूरी तरह इग्नोर किया. उन्होंने UAE क्रिकेट बोर्ड के उपाध्यक्ष ख़ालिद अल ज़रूनी और दूसरे अधिकारियों से अपने अवार्ड लिए. लेकिन मोहसिन नक़वी इस बात पर अड़े रहे कि वही टीम इंडिया को ट्रॉफी देंगे. हालांकि UAE के अफसरों ने मोहसिन नक़वी को समझाने की बहुत कोशिश की….लेकिन, मोहसिन नक़वी इसके लिए तैयार नहीं हुए. क़रीब एक घंटे तक मैदान पर ड्रामा चलता रहा. पुरस्कार समारोह में जब टीम इंडिया ने नकवी का बायकॉट किया तो मैदान में मौजूद दर्शकों ने ‘भारत माता की जय’ के नारे लगाए.
आखिर में मोहसिन नक़वी मुंह फुलाकर मैदान से बाहर चले गए. जाते जाते मोहसिन नक़वी ने पाकिस्तानी अफसरों को हुक्म दिया कि एशिया कप की ट्रॉफी को भी वापस होटल पहुंचा दिया जाए, अगर टीम इंडिया ने उनसे ट्रॉफी नहीं ली, तो फिर उनको नहीं दी जाएगी.
मोहसिन नक़वी जब ख़ुद चले गए तो भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को जो मेडल दिए जाने थे. वो मेडल भी पाकिस्तान के अफसर मोहसिन नक़वी के हुक्म पर होटल ले गए. यानी एशिया कप का विजेता होने के बावजूद एशियन क्रिकेट काउंसिल के अध्यक्ष ने भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को उनका हक़ नहीं दिया, न ट्रॉफी दी, न मेडल दिया, अपने साथ सब वापस होटल लिवा ले गए.
जब मैच के बाद प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में भारत के कप्तान सूर्य कुमार यादव से पूछा गया कि क्या उनको ट्रॉफी न मिलने का अफ़सोस है, क्या इस बात का दु:ख है कि टीम इंडिया को बिना ट्रॉफी के ही celebrate करना पड़ा तो, सूर्य कुमार ने बहुत शानदार जवाब दिया. सूर्यकुमार ने कहा कि टूर्नामेंट उन्होंने जीता, जश्न पूरे देश ने मनाया और पूरे टूर्नामेंट में टीम का performance बहुत शानदार रहा, किसी कप्तान को और क्या चाहिए?
सूर्य कुमार यादव ने एलान किया कि एशिया कप के सभी मैचों की अपनी फ़ीस वो भारतीय सेना को dedicate करते हैं और मुस्कुराते हुए कहा कि उन्हें उम्मीद है, कम से कम इस पर कोई नया विवाद नहीे होगा.
सूर्या की देखा-देखी पाकिस्तान के कैप्टन सलमान अली आग़ा ने कहा कि उनकी पूरी टीम अपनी मैच फ़ीस उन लोगों के परिवारों को देगी, जो 7 मई को ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के दौरान भारत के हमले में मारे गए थे.
सूर्य कुमार यादव का ये सवाल बिलकुल genuine है कि हमने सारे मैच जीते, पाकिस्तान को तीन-तीन बार हराया, फिर भी पाकिस्तान हमारी trophy लेकर भाग गया, Asia Cup जीतने वाली team के हाथ खाली हैं और हारने वाला मुल्क trophy और medals को सजाकर बैठा है.
जीतने वाली team के साथ इससे घटिया मज़ाक़ और क्या हो सकता है ? मोहसिन नकवी ज़िद पकड़ कर क्यों बैठे हैं ? अगर मेजबान देश UAE के cricket board के उपाघ्यक्ष टीम इंडिया को trophy दे देते तो कौन सा पहाड़ टूट जाता ?
असल में Pakistan cricket board के chief उसी तरह की हरकत कर रहे हैं जैसी उनके Army chief ने ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के दौरान की थी.
आसिम मुनीर ने भी अपनी तबाही में जीत का दावा किया था. पूरे Asia Cup के दौरान कभी किसी पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ी ने bat को बंदूक बनाकर दिखाया, तो किसी ने plane गिरने का इशारा किया, लेकिन सूर्य कुमार यादव और उनकी टीम ने अपने bat और ball से करारा जवाब दिया. एक बार नहीं तीन-तीन बार दिया.
अब अगर मोहसिन नकवी में ज़रा सी भी गैरत बची है तो उन्हें ट्राफी और मेडल टीम इंडिया के हवाले करने चाहिए वरना ICC को पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के चीफ के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए.
जितना मज़ाक़ पाकिस्तान की टीम का बनाया गया, उससे कहीं ज्यादा हंसी पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष की उड़ाई गई.
बहुत सारे memes हैं, jokes हैं. सबसे दिलचस्प है, मज़ाक़ में पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज़ शरीफ़ की तरफ से बनाया गया एक संदेश, जिसमें वो कहते हैं, congratulations पाकिस्तान, हमने Asia Cup जीत लिया, पाकिस्तान ने India के खिलाफ तीनों मैच जीते. हमारे fast bowlers हमारी missiles की तरह हैं और batters हमारे air defence की तरह.
इस मजाकिया messageमें वो आगे लिखते हैं, इस जीत का credit पाकिस्तान के Army Chief आसिम मुनीर को मिलना चाहिए क्योंकि पाकिस्तान की फौज पिछले एक साल से हमारी Cricket Team को training दे रही है.
आगे वो लिखते हैं कि मैंने PCB के chairman से बात की है और वो ICC के साथ ये issue raise करें कि TV पर फर्जी match क्यों दिखाए गए. वो पाकिस्तान के लोगों से कहते हैं कि, यकीन करें कि हमारी फौज और हमारे players ने वाकई में जीत हासिल की है.
ऐसे और बहुत सारे jokes हैं, चुटकुले हैं, जो काफी viral हो रहे हैं और लोग इनका जमकर मज़ा ले रहे हैं.

The joy of triumph was spoiled on Sunday night by Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi, when he insisted on handing over the Asia Cup trophy to champions Team India, but our team refused to take the trophy from him because Naqvi also happens to be Pakistan Home Minister.
This controversy, unprecedented in international cricket, took place at Dubai international stadium after India defeated Pakistan in the final.
The Indian team was willing to accept the trophy from Emirates Cricket Board vice-chairman Khalid Al zarooni, but Naqvi was not ready to give in.
Finally, Naqvi left with the Asian Cup trophy and, alongwith it, the medals that were to be given to the winning team players.
Indian cricket board BCCI has written a letter to International Cricket Council objecting to the behaviour of the PCB chief. Social media was flooded with thousands of memes lampooning the Pakistani minister.
Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav announced that he would donate his entire match fees of the tournament to the Indian army, and, with a smile, remarked, at least this would not create any fresh controversy.
In a tit-for-tat gesture, Pakistan team captain Salman Ali Agha also announced he would donate his entire match fees to the families of those who died on May 7 during Indian army’s Operation Sindoor attacks on terror hideouts in Pakistan.
Suryakumar Yadav’s question is genuine. He said, we won all Asia Cup matches, defeated Pakistan thrice, and yet Pakistan went away with the trophy. The team that won the Asia Cup is empty handed, while the team that lost is sitting pretty with the trophy and medals.
This is mockery at its lowest. Why Mohsin Naqvi insisted that he would hand over the trophy to Team India? Would heavens had fallen if the host country UAE’s cricket board vice-chairman had given the trophy to Team India?
PCB chairman is behaving in exactly the same manner in which Pakistan Army Chief did post-Operation Sindoor. With terror hideouts, air base runways and hangar devastated, Asim Munir was crowing a fake victory.
But Suryakumar Yadav and his team replied to the rival’s empty sounding boasts with their bat and ball. Not once, but thrice, in a single tournament. If Mohsin Naqvi has a modicum of shame left, he should hand over the trophy and medals to Team India, otherwise ICC must take action against the Pakistan Cricket Board chief.
The PCB chief has become the butt of ridicule on social media. One joke was classic, in which the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif was shown posting a message congratulating Pakistan team for winning the Asia Cup and defeating India in all three matches. In the post, the Pakistani PM was shown comparing the attacks of his fast bowlers with missiles and his batters with Pakistan’s air defence systems.
The joke also says, credit for the victory should go to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir because his army had been imparting training to the cricket team for the last one year.
The satirical joke further depicts Shehbaz Sharif as writing that he has asked the PCB chairman to raise the issue with ICC about why fake matches are being telecast on TV. The Pakistani PM was shown telling his people to trust his words that the army and players have won all matches, including the Cup.
There are many such jokes and memes which are already viral on social media and people are having a whale of a time going through them.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) imposed 30 per cent match fee fines on Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf for their conduct during the India-Pakistan match on Sunday in Asia Cup. It also reprimanded Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan for his AK-47 gesture after scoring his fifty.
During back-to-back hearings overseen by match referee Richie Richardson, Farhan claimed that since he was a Pathan hailing from Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, he celebrated his fifty in the traditional Pashtun way and it carried no political connotation.
In his defence, Haris Rauf claimed his gesture had no political motive and it had nothing to do with India-Pakistan bilateral tension. The ICC did not accept his clarification and imposed a 30 pc match fee fine.
On Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav expressing solidarity with the victims of Pahalgam terror attack and praising the Indian army for Operation Sindoor, the ICC concluded that it “potentially harmed the image of the sport” and a 30 pc match fee deduction was ordered.
Now let me make my point. Farhan knew exactly what he was doing by making a gun-fire gesture. Rauf knew well what he wanted to convey by mimicking a plane crash in the stands.
There is no point giving lame excuses before the ICC enquiry committee. The world noticed what both these Pakistani cricketers did.
These players must know that they were playing for their country at an international sports event. They were not doing some sort of ‘mujra’ or dance at anybody’s wedding. To claim that what they were doing were celebratory gestures is a plain lie.
I think the ICC has let the both players off easily. More severe punishment should have been awarded.

“I Love Mohammed” controversy : Do not trust rumours

Attempts were made to disturb communal peace in some cities of India after Friday afternoon prayers by some mischievous elements. In one or two places, some maulanas made vitriolic attacks, while in most of the mosques, the maulanas handled the situation properly.
The controversy began with “I Love Mohammed” posters. The city kazi of Kanpur Abdul Quddus Hadi Saheb has said, he has read the FIR relating to the poster and appealed to Muslims not to listen to rumours about anybody being arrested for the poster. He appealed to the youths to maintain peace.
In Beed, Maharashtra, a maulana threatened to bury UP CM Yogi Adityanath alive, while in Bareilly, UP Maulana Tauqir Raza incited youths and asked them to come out on the streets after Friday prayers.
Maulana Tauqir Raza had asked people to assemble outside Badi Masjid after Friday prayers and carry “I Love Mohammed” placards. Thousands gathered outside the mosque and started chating provocative slogans. Stoning began and police had to resort to lathi charge to disperse the crowd.
The situation was brought under control within two hours. There were thousands of footwears lying scattered on the streets. Several police vehicles were stoned and police is now trying to nab the mischief makers with the help of CCTV footage.
DIG Police, Bareilly, Ajay Kumar Sahni said, the manner in which violence broke out clearly showed a pre-planned plot. He promised to nab the conspirators soon.
Whatever happened in Bareilly was not a coincidence, it was an experiment. Maulana Tauqir Raza has a questionable background. He spews venom whenever he delivers his sermons and speeches.
His only motive is to incite Muslims. He had done this earlier too and later apologized for his act. It seems he has not changed his colour.
The Kanpur controversy about ‘I Love Mohammed’ poster has been clarified by the city kazi who has said that the FIR was not against those who displayed the banner, but against those who tore it up.
In a communally surcharged atmosphere, rumours spread fast and because of such misinformation, there were incidents of arson in Gujarat and violence in Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, Bareilly, Lucknow and Beed. But nobody tried to verify the facts.
In Beed, Maulana Ashfaq Nisar Sheikh, while addressing a crowd of several thousand people, vowed to bury Yogi Adityanath alive. He challenged the UP CM to come to Beed and try to remove “I Love Mohammed” banners. Police lodged an FIR against him, and later the maulana, who had gone underground, was taken into custody.
The chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Mumbai, Maulana Siraj Khan has demanded action against people who are trying to disturb communal brotherhood.
Noted Shia Maulana Kalbe Jawwad said, no true Muslim can utter such remarks against Yogi Adityanath.
Let me make this clear. Every Muslim has the freedom to say “I Love Mohammed”. Every person has the right to follow his or her faith. Problem arises when baseless rumours are spread through social media, and people, without verifying messages, start believing them.
There is one link common between Kanpur, Bareilly and Beed. Yogi Adityanath is being made the target. The motive of those trying to fan communal sentinments is clear.
One can criticize Yogi’s policies, but to threaten to “bury him alive” is not acceptable. There is no place for such remarks in a democracy.

एशिया कप के फाइनल में रविवार को भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच मुक़ाबला होगा लेकिन इस मैच से पहले ICC ने पाकिस्तान के दो खिलाड़ियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की. भारत के साथ पिछले मैच में बदज़ुबानी करने और आपत्तिजनक हरकतें करने के लिए पाकिस्तान के गेंदबाज़ हारिस रऊफ़ पर मैच फ़ीस का 30 परसेंट जुर्माना लगाया गया है.

इसके साथ साथ हाफ़ सेंचुरी लगाने के बाद बैट को गन की तरह दिखाकर जश्न मनाने वाले पाकिस्तानी बैट्समैन साहिबजादा फ़रहान को भी ICC ने कड़ी चेतावनी दी और भविष्य में मैदान पर ऐसी हरकतों से बाज़ आने की हिदायत दी.

इस शिकायत पर सुनवाई के दौरान हारिस रऊफ़ और साहिबजादा फ़रहान मैच रेफ़री रिची रिचर्डसन के सामने पेश हुए. सुनवाई के दौरान हारिस रऊफ़ और साहिबजादा फ़रहान ने ख़ुद को बेकसूर बताया. फ़रहान ने कहा कि वो तो पठान हैं, पठानों में गन चलाकर जश्न मनाने का चलन है, शादी समारोह में भी इसी तरह का जश्न होता है, उसने मैदान में जो इशारा किया वो उसकी संस्कृति का हिस्सा है, इसमें ग़लत कुछ नहीं है.

हारिस रऊफ ने दावा किया कि उसने भारत के ख़िलाफ़ मैच के दौरान कोई नियम नहीं तोड़ा. उनके इशारों का मक़सद राजनीतिक नहीं था, दोनों देशों के संबंधों से इसका कोई लेना देना नहीं था लेकिन,ICC ने हारिस रऊफ के स्पष्टीकरण को स्वीकार नहीं किया. और उस पर मैच फीस का 30 परसेंट जुर्माना लगा दिया. साथ ही साहिबज़ादा फ़रहान को कड़ी फटकार लगाई.

पेशी के दौरान टीम इंडिया के कप्तान सूर्य कुमार यादव ने कहा कि उन्होंने कुछ भी ग़लत नहीं किया लेकिन, ICC ने सूर्य कुमार यादव पर भी मैच फ़ीस का 30 परसेंट जुर्माना लगाया. हालांकि, भारत ने सूर्य कुमार यादव पर लगे जुर्माना के ख़िलाफ़ अपील की है.

फरहान अच्छी तरह जानते हैं कि उन्होंने बंदूक का निशाना लगाने की हरकत क्यों की थी. रऊफ को भी पता है कि उन्होंने विमान गिरने का इशारा क्यों किया था. अब ICC की enquiry committee के सामने बहानेबाजी करने का क्या फायदा ? इन दोनों ने जो किया,वो पूरी दुनिया ने देखा.

पाकिस्तान के players को पता होना चाहिए कि वो खेल के मैदान में थे, किसी के शादी-ब्याह में नाचने नहीं आए थे. इसीलिए शादी के जश्न का बहाना तो बिलकुल बेकार है. मुझे लगता है ICC ने इन दोनों को सस्ते में छोड़ दिया. दोनों पर और भी कड़ा action होना चाहिए था.

‘आई लव मुहम्मद’ विवाद : अफवाहें माहौल बिगाड़ती हैं

आज देश के कई शहरों में माहौल खराब करने की कोशिश हुई. जुमे की नमाज के बाद कुछ जगहों पर जहरीली तकरीरें हुईं. ज्यादातर जगहों पर मौलानाओं ने हालात को संभाला.

सारी गड़बड़ी कानपुर की घटना को लेकर शुरू हुई थी. आज कानपुर के शहर काजी अब्दुल कद्दूस हादी साहब ने बताया कि ‘आई लव मोहम्मद’ के नाम पर FIR की बात गलत है, उन्होंने चेक किया है, ये बदगुमानी है. हादी साहब ने नौजवानों से शांति बनाए रखने की गुजारिश की.

बरेली में मौलाना तौकीर रजा ने नौजवानों को भड़काया. उन्होंने मुसलमानों को सड़क पर उतरने की कॉल दी. बरेली में मस्जिद के बाहर इक्कठा हुए लोगों ने हंगामा किया, पुलिस पर पत्थर बरसाए, पुलिस ने जवाबी लाठीचार्ज किया.

भीड़ को उकसाने वाले मौलाना तौकीर रजा के खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया गया है. चालीस से ज्यादा लोगों को सलाखों के पीछा भेजा जा चुका है.

बरेली में जुमे की नमाज़ के बाद कोरलाम मस्जिद के पास हजारों की भीड़ जमा हो गई. ज्यादातर लोगों के हाथ में आई लव मोहम्मद के पोस्टर-बैनर थे. भीड़ ने भड़काऊ नारेबाजी शुरू कर दी. पुलिस के अफसरों ने भीड़ को समझाने की कोशिश की. लेकिन भीड़ ने पुलिस पर पथराव शुरु कर दिया. पुलिस का दावा है कि भीड़ के बीच से पुलिस पर फायरिंग भी की गई. इसके बाद पुलिस ने लाठी चार्ज किया. पुलिस की सख्ती के बाद करीब दो घंटे में हालात काबू में आ गए.

बरेली के डीआईजी अजय कुमार साहनी ने कहा कि जिस तरह से हिंसा हुई, वह पूर्व नियोजित था. अजय कुमार साहनी ने कहा कि पुलिस वीडियो फुटेज के जरिए हिंसा करने वाले लोगों की पहचान कर रही है. जल्द ही इस साजिश के सारे तार जोड़ लिए जाएंगे.

बरेली में जो कुछ हुआ, वह संयोग नहीं, सोचा समझा प्रयोग है. तौकीर रज़ा दूध के धुले नहीं हैं, जब भी जुबान खोलते हैं, जहर उगलते हैं, जहां भी जाते हैं, अपनी तकरीरों से लोगों को भड़काते हैं.

इससे पहले भी बरेली में पुलिस पर हमला हुआ था.उसके पीछे भी तौकीर रज़ा की बयानबाजी थी. उस वक्त तौकीर रज़ा गिरफ्तारी से बचने के लिए कई हफ्तों तक गायब रहे थे. बाद में बयान जारी करके माफी मांगी थी. लेकिन वो अपनी हरकतों से बाज नहीं आए.

इस बार उन्होंने अफवाह फैला कर लोगों को भड़काया. पुलिस पर पथराव करवाया.

तौकीर रजा ने कानपुर की जिस घटना का बहाना लिया, I love Mohammed campaign चलाने की call दी, उसके बारे कानपुर के शहर काजी हादी साहब सफाई दे चुके हैं. उन्होंने साफ लफ्जों में कहा कि, I love mohammed बैनर लगाने वालों के खिलाफ FIR तो नहीं है.उसको उन्होंने पढ़ा है. तफ्सील से देखा है. उन्होंने कहा कि ये बदगुमानी है. शहर काजी ने बताया कि FIR तो बैनर फाड़ने पर हुई है. लेकिन आजकल Social Media के जरिए अफवाहें बहुत तेजी से फैलती हैं. इस misinformation के चक्कर में गुजरात में आगज़नी हुई, उज्जैन, इंदौर, भोपाल, बरेली, लखनऊ और बीड में हंगामा हुआ लेकिन किसी ने हक़ीक़त जानने की कोशिश नहीं की.

पहली बात तो ये है कि I love mohammed कहने की सबको पूरी आज़ादी है. हर किसी को अपने धर्म अपने रीति रिवाजों का पालन करने का अधिकार है लेकिन Social Media पर अफवाहें तेजी से फैलती हैं.

लोग बिना verify किए messages पर यकीन कर लेते हैं. इस मामले में भी कानपुर में गलतफहमी हुई और कुछ लोगों ने इसका फायदा उठाया. लेकिन कानपुर, बरेली से लेकर बीड तक, एक बात common है.

लोगों को भड़काने वालों के निशाने पर योगी आदित्यनाथ हैं.इससे ये साफ है कि लोगों की भावनाओं को उकसाने वालों का इरादा क्या है. उनकी मंशा क्या है.

योगी आदित्यनाथ की नीतियों की आलोचना हो सकती है..लेकिन कोई उन्हें जिंदा दफन करने की धमकी दे, इसे स्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता. ऐसे बयानों के लिए लोकतंत्र में कोई जगह नहीं है.

भारत की सुरक्षा को लेकर कई बड़े खुलासे हुए. पहली खबर ये कि DRDO ने गुरुवार को अग्नि प्राइम मिसाइल का टेस्ट किया जो रेल की पटरियों से लॉन्च की जा सकती है. अग्नि प्राइम 2000 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर मार कर सकती है. पाकिस्तान का कोना-कोना इसकी मार के दायरे में है.
दूसरी खबर, भारत और रूस मिलकर हमारे देश में ही सुखोई-57 फाइटर जेट बनाएंगे. ये 5th जेनरेशन फाइटर प्लेन्स दुनिया के सबसे खतरनाक फायटर जेट्स में से एक हैं.
तीसरी खबर है कि भारत और रूस मिलकर दुनिया का सबसे एडवांस्ड एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम S-500 air defence system भारत में ही बनाएंगे. ये एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम भारतीय वायुसेना का सुदर्शन चक्र होगा जिसे कोई भेद नहीं पाएगा.
चौथी खबर ये कि हमारे देश में बने तेजस फाइटर प्लेन बनकर तैयार हैं. रक्षा मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार को हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स के साथ तेजस फाइटर बनाने के लिए 62 हजार 370 करोड़ रुपये का समझौता किया है.
पांचवीं खबर ये कि अमेठी की फैक्ट्री में भारत और रूस मिलकर AK-203 रायफल्स बनाना शुरू कर चुके हैं. शेर नाम की ये रायफल इस साल की आखिर तक पूरी तरह स्वदेशी तकनीक से बनेगी. ये दुनिया की सबसे एडवांस्ड रायफल है जिसकी टेक्नोलॉजी रूस ने भारत को ट्रांसफर की है.
अग्नि प्रइम मिसाइल को भारत में कहीं भी ले जाया जा सकता है, जहां रेल लाइन है. कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक और गुवाहाटी से गुजरात तक फैला रेलवे का विशाल नेटवर्क अब अग्नि बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल लॉन्च के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है. इसके लिए न तो लॉन्चर्स को ज़मीन के नीचे छुपाने की ज़रूरत रहेगी, न आनन-फानन में लॉन्च प्लेटफॉर्म तैयार करना होगा.
रेलवे प्लेटफॉर्म से बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल लॉन्च करने की क्षमता फिलहाल सिर्फ़ रूस, चीन और अमेरिका के पास मौजूद है. नॉर्थ कोरिया भी बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल को रेलवे मोबाइल प्लेटफॉर्म से लॉन्च करने की कोशिश कर रहा है.
रेलवे प्लेटफॉर्म से बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल लॉन्च करने की क्षमता क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है, उसका एक उदाहरण देना चाहता हूं. इस साल जून में जब ईरान और इज़राइल के बीच 12 दिनों का युद्ध हुआ था, तब इज़राइल की वायु सेना बार-बार ईरान के मिसाइल लॉन्चर्स को टारगेट कर रही थीं. जब भी ईरान की सेना लॉन्चर्स को खुले में ले आते, तब तक इज़राइल की वायु नेसा सैटेलाइट से उसकी लोकेशन का पता लगा कर लॉन्चर्स को हवाई हमले में तबाह कर देती थी. इसी वजह से ईरान को अपनी मिसाइल्स और लॉन्चर्स का ठिकाना बार-बार बदलना पड़ रहा था. सम्बी दूरी की मिसाइल्स होने के बावजूद ईरान इज़राइल का कोई खास नुकसान नहीं कर पाया.
अब भारत के पास 2000 किलोमीटर रेंज वाली अग्नि प्राइम मिसाइल है जो एटम बम ले जा सकती है और इस मिसाइल को कहीं से भी लॉन्च किया जा सकता है. इसलिए अग्नि प्राइम अब और भी घातक हो गई है. दिल्ली से पाकिस्तानी फ़ौज का हेडक्वार्टर रावलपिंडी और उसकी वायु सेना का सबसे बड़ा बेस नूर ख़ान सिर्फ़ साढ़े सात सौ किलोमीटर दूर हैं. ऐसे में भारत पटना में रेलवे की पटरी से से भी रावलपिंडी, लाहौर और इस्लामाबाद को अग्नि प्राइम मिसाइल से टारगेट कर सकता है.
भारत जल्द ही रूस के साथ सुखोई-57 फाइटर jets के साझा उत्पादन के लिए समझौता कर सकते हैं. सुखोई-57 fifth generation का stealth फाइटर प्लेन है. ये रेडार की पकड़ में नहीं आता. जब अमेरिका ने भारत को F-35 फाइटर जेट बेचने का ऑफ़र दिया था, उसके बाद ही रूस ने भारत को सुखोई-57 के ज्वाइंट प्रोडक्शन का प्रस्ताव दिया था.
सुखोई-57 के साथ ही रूस ने अपने S-70B कॉम्बैट ड्रोन के ज्वाइंट प्रोडक्शन का ऑफ़र दिया है. रूस की सुखोई कंपनी इस ड्रोन को सुखोई-57 फाइटर जेट के साथ अटैक के लिए डेवेलप कर रही है. ये ड्रोन दुश्मन के रडार और एयर डिफेंस पर हमला करेगा, और फाइटर जेट दुश्मन के ठिकानों को तबाह करेगा.
रूस चाहता है कि सुखोई-57 फाइटर जेट के अलावा, भारत रूस के लेटेस्ट एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम S-500 का भी ज्वांइन्ट प्रोडक्शन करे.
S-500 प्रोमेथियस दुनिया के सबसे एडवांस्ड एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम्स में से एक है. ये एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम दुश्मन की बैलिस्टिक और हाइपरसोनिक मिसाइलों को भी हवा में ही मार सकता है. रूस ने S-500 एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम क्राइमिया में यूक्रेन के ख़िलाफ़ तैनात किया है. S-500 इतना शक्तिशाली है कि ये दुश्मन के stealth fighter jets और low earth orbit सैटेलाइट्स तक भी गिरा सकता है.
दिसंबर में रूस के राष्ट्रपति व्लादीमीर पुतिन भारत आएंगे. उम्मीद है उसी दौरान समझौतों पर दस्तखत होंगे.
भारत रूस के साथ पहले ही ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक मिसाइल का उत्पादन कर रहा है जिसके तीनों version भारत की तीनों सेनाओं के पास हैं. इसके अलावा रूस की AK-203 राइफलों का भी ज्वाइंट प्रोडक्शन भारत में शुरू हो चुका है.
AK-203 राइफलें बनाने की फैक्ट्री, उत्तर प्रदेश के अमेठी में है. इस ज्वाइंट प्रोजेक्ट के लिए Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited के नाम से एक अलग कंपनी बनाई गई है जिसकी कमान थल सेना के मेजर जनरल एस के शर्मा के पास है.
मेजर जनरल SK शर्मा ने बताया कि पिछले 18 महीनों में इस फैक्ट्री में बनी 18 हज़ार राइफल्स सेना को सौंपी जा चुकी हैं. इस साल दिसंबर तक 22 हज़ार और राइफलें सेना को सौंप दी जाएंगी. अमेठी की फैक्ट्री को दस साल में 6 लाख से ज़्यादा AK-203 राइफलें बनाने का ठेका मिला है.
वायु सेना की ताक़त बढ़ाने के लिए गुरुवार को रक्षा मंत्रालय ने हिंदुस्तान एरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड के साथ तेजस मार्क-1 स्वदेशी हल्के लड़ाकू विमान ख़रीदने के समझौते पर दस्तखत किए. 62 हज़ार 370 करोड़ रुपए के इस समझौते के तहत वायु सेना को 68 सिंगल seater तेजस फाइटर जेट और 29 twin seater trainer विमान मिलेंगे. वायु सेना को तेजस fighter jets की डिलिवरी 2027-28 से शुरू होगी और अगले छह साल में पूरी की जाएगी.
ये गर्व की बात है कि आज हम अपने देश में Fighter Jets बना रहे हैं और Air Defence System बनाने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं. नए जमाने में सुरक्षा के लिहाज से ये जरूरी है कि जितना हो सके हथियार अपने देश में बनें, हथियारों की पूरी technology transfer की जाए ताकि युद्ध के दौरान किसी का मुंह ना देखना पड़े.
ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के वक्त ये जरूरत महसूस हुई. ऑपरेशन सिंदूर ने ये भी साबित कर दिया कि भारत में बनी Missiles किसी से कम नहीं हैं. इस छोटी सी जंग में ब्रह्मोस ने जो कमाल दिखाया, उसकी चर्चा पूरी दुनिया में है.
आजादी के बाद 60-65 साल तक किसी ने नहीं सोचा कि हम अपने देश में हथियार बनाएं. सारा ध्यान करोड़ों रुपये के हथियारों के आयात पर होता था. हर रक्षा सौदे में दलाली खाए जाने की खबरें आती थीं.
नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस सोच को बदला. मोदी ने नीति बनाई कि भारत को अपनी रक्षा के लिए हथियार अपने यहां बनाने चाहिए, technology transfer पूरी तरह होना चाहिए. इसकी शुरुआत हो चुकी है लेकिन रक्षा की जरूरतें बहुत बड़ी होती है. इसीलिए हम पूरी तरह आत्मनिर्भर हो पाएं, इसमें समय लगेगा. अंग्रेजी में एक कहावत है, Well begun is half done और भारत में जिस तरह की मिसाइल, जिस तरह की राइफल, जिस तरह के फाइटर जेट बन रहे हैं, वह एक शुभ संकेत हैं.

लद्दाख को राज्य का दर्ज़ा : बातचीत शुरु हो

लेह और कारगिल में इस समय शांति है और दोनों जगहों पर सुरक्षा बल गश्त लगा रहे हैं. बुधवार को जो हिंसा और आगजनी हुई, उसके बाद तनाव तो है, पर हालात शांत है.
गृह मंत्रालय ने 10 बिंदुओं वाला एक बयान जारी किया जिसमें कहा गया कि लद्दाख में हुई हिंसा राजनीतिक साजिश का नतीजा थी और इसके लिए कुछ हद तक सोशल एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक भी जिम्मेदार है.
बयान में कहा गया कि वांगुचक ने अपने भाषण में अरब स्प्रिंग स्टाइल के प्रोटेस्ट और नेपाल के GEN-Z आंदोलन का ज़िक्र किया. इसी से प्रभावित होकर नौजवानों ने लद्दाख में आगज़नी की.
गृह मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि सरकार High Powered Committee और Sub-committees के ज़रिए अलग-अलग पार्टियों औऱ नेताओं के साथ बातचीत कर रही है. लद्दाख की अनुसूचित जनजातियों के लिए आरक्षण को 45 से बढ़ाकर 84 फीसद कर दिया गया है. 1800 पदों पर भर्ती शुरू की गई है. लोकल काउंसिल में महिलाओं को 33 फीसद आरक्षण दिया गया है. सरकार ने भोती और पुर्गी को official language का दर्जा भी दे दिया है.
सोनम वांगचुक का कहना है कि सरकार उन्हें बलि का बकरा बना रही है, उनका इस हिंसा से कोई लेना देना नहीं हैं. लेह में जो हुआ, उसकी वजह से उन्होंने अपना अनशन खत्म किया जिससे हालात ठीक हों.
वांगचुक ने कहा कि GEN-Z शब्द का इस्तेमाल उन्होंने किसी दूसरे संदर्भ में किया था, लेकिन उनकी बात का गलत मतलब निकाला गया.
सोनम वांगचुक कुछ भी कहें लेकिन जो तथ्य सामने आ रहे हैं, उनसे लगता है कि उनकी मुश्किलें बढ़ने वाली हैं.
सरकार ने वांगचुक के NGO “स्टूडेंट्स एजुकेशनल एंड कल्चरल मूवमेंट ऑफ लद्दाख” का FCRA लाइसेंस रद्द कर दिया है. FCRA का लाइसेंस रद्द होने के बाद वांगचुक विदेशों से चंदा नहीं ले पाएंगे.
जांच में पता ये चला है कि वांगचुक के NGO ने FCRA का लाइसेंस मिलने से पहले ही विदेशों से चंदा लेना शुरू कर दिया था और विदेशों से मिले पैसे को दूसरे काम में लगाया गया.
इसके अलावा सोनम वांगचुक की संस्था हिमालयन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ अल्टरनेटिव लर्निंग को दी गई 1,076 कनाल ज़मीन की 40 साल की लीज भी रद्द कर दी गई है.
लेह में जो दुखद मौतें हुईं, जिस तरह से हिंसा हुई, उससे सबक सीखने की जरूरत है.
हो सकता है कि सोनम वांगचुक ने लोगों को भड़काया हो, हो सकता है इसके पीछे कोई बड़ी साजिश हो, ये भी माना जा सकता है कि वांगचुक ने license मिलने से पहले विदेशियों से चंदे लिए हों, पर इन सब बातों की वजह से असली मसले को नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं करना चाहिए.
अगर लद्दाख के लोग पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा मांग रहे हैं, तो उनसे बात की जानी चाहिए थी. लोग नौकरियों की मांग कर रहे हों. अगर भर्ती शुरू हो गई, तो ये बात लोगों को समझाने की जरूरत थी.
अब भी देर नहीं हुई है. हालात काबू में हैं. लद्दाख के लोग अपने हैं, शांतिप्रिय हैं, लोकतंत्र में विश्वास रखते हैं. उनको विश्वास में लेकर बात करने में अब देर नहीं करनी चाहिए. उनको ये यकीन दिलाने की जरूरत है कि सरकार उनकी सारी बातों पर सहानुभूति से विचार करेगी और रास्ता निकालेगी.

In a massive boost to India’s defence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has embarked on major plans to acquire weapons, missiles and 5th generation stealth fighter jets.
On Thursday, India successfully tested its nuclear-capable Intermediate Range Agni-Prime missile from a rail-based mobile launcher system. This missile can reach up to 2,000 km and all corners of Pakistan can come within its range.
With this, India has joined an elite group of nations, like US, Russia, North Korea, and China, which have the capability of firing railcar-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, or ICBMs. India can now fire an ICBM from anywhere on its vast rail network spreading from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and from Gujarat to Assam.
Former DRDO director general Hari Babu Srivastava said, the test firing of rail-based Agni Prime will send a clear message to Pakistan. Agni-Prime is the hybrid version of Agni-4 and Agni-5.
The importance of rail-based missile launcher was realized during the 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel in June this year. Israeli air force used to target all Iranian missile launchers by detecting their locations through satellites. Because of this, Iranian army had to change its locations frequently.
In a second major announcement, Prime Minister Modi said on Thursday that India and Russia will be jointly producing latest weapons. Reports suggest, India and Russia may jointly produce Sukhoi-57 fifth generation stealth fighter jets, which can evade radars. The US had offered F-35 fighter jets for sale to India. Soon after Russia offered joint production of Su-57 stealth fighter jets. Russia has also offered joint production of its S-70B combat drones which can engage enemy radars and air defence systems.
Russia wants to jointly produce S-500 Prometheus, considered one of the world’s most advanced air defence system, with India. S-500 can easily target enemy ballistic and hypersonic missiles in air. Russia has deployed S-500 air defence system in Crimea against Ukraine. It is so powerful that it can down enemy stealth fighter jets and even low-earth orbit satellites.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be visiting India in December and chances are that India and Russia may sign some major defence deals. The ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ that PM Modi announced from Red Fort this year, includes S-500 Prometheus.
Already India and Russia are jointly producing BrahMos supersonic missiles and all its three versions are now with the armed forces. Both countries have already begun joint production of AK-203 rifles in their factory in Amethi, UP under the aegis of Indo-Russian Rifles Pvt Ltd.
Major General S K Sharma, heading this joint venture, said, 70 per cent indigenous components have been used in manufacturing AK-203 rifles. Already,18,000 AK-203 rifles have been handed over to our army in the last 18 months. 22,000 more rifles will be delivered by December this year. This company has got a contract to manufacture more than six lakh AK-203 rifles in the next ten years.
On Thursday, Defence Ministry signed one of its biggest deals, worth Rs 62,370 crore with public sector company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd for manufacture of 68 single seater Tejas Mk-1 light combat aircraft and 29 twin seater trainer aircraft. Delivery will begin from 2027-28 onwards.
HAL CMD D. K. Sunil told India TV defence editor Manish Prasad that the first lot of 12 Tejas aircraft is almost ready and will be delivered by December. Work is now going on for Tejas Mk-2 aircraft.
It should be a matter of pride for all of us that today we are manufacturing our own fighter jets and preparing to jointly produce the latest air defence systems. In this modern age, it is essential that we become self-reliant in defence and obtain full technology transfer, so that in times of war, our armed forces will not have to be dependent on other countries.
During Operation Sindoor, India showed to the world how its BrahMos missiles can work with pinpoint precision and cause heavy damage to the enemy. The world is today sitting up to take note of our missiles.
For 60 to 65 years since Independence, nobody even thought of manufacturing weapons, missiles and fighter jets in India. Most of the attention was given to buy thousands of crores worth weapons from abroad and there used to be reports of bribes being taken in almost every defence deal.
Narendra Modi changed this entire line of thinking. He prepared a defence policy for India, where weapons and equipment will be manufactured in India and there will be technology transfer. Work has begun.
Our armed forces have a huge list of requirements. It will take time for us to be self-reliant in defence. In English, there is a saying: ‘Well begun is half done’. The missiles, rifles and fighter jets that are being made send a good signal.

Ladakh statehood : Let the talks begin

An uneasy calm prevails in Leh and Kargil after arson and violence on Wednesday that led to the death of four persons and injuries to nearly 90 people. The Home Ministry said, the violence was a result of pre-meditated political conspiracy and social activist Sonam Wangchuk was partly responsible for this.
In a 10-point statement, the Home Ministry said, Wangchuk, in his speech, had mentioned about Arab Spring-style protest and Nepal’s Gen-Z movement. This led to youths resorting to widespread arson and violence.
The ministry said, the government’s high-powered committee and sub-committees are already engaged in talks with different parties and leaders, and reservation for Scheduled Tribes in Ladakh has been raised from 45 pc to 84 pc, recruitment to 1,800 posts has begun and women have been given 33 pc reservation in local council. The statement also said, Bhoti and Purgi have been given official language status in Ladakh.
On his part, Sonam Wangchuk alleged that the Centre was trying to make him a scapegoat and he had nothing to do with violence. He said, he used the Gen-Z word in some different context, and his words were being thoroughly misinterpreted.
Wangchuk’s problems are going to increase. On Thursday, the Home Ministry revoked the FCRA licence of his NGO Students Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh, choking off his foreign donations. The ministry found that the NGO had already started collecting foreign donations even before it got the licence. The land lease given to Wangchuk’s NGO Himalayan Institute of Alternative Learning has been cancelled. This 1,076 canal land was leased by the government to his NGO for 40 years.
One must learn lessons from the sudden violence that gripped Ladakh. It may be that Sonam Wangchuk could have incited people, or there may be a larger conspiracy.
But we should not ignore the core issue. People of Ladakh are demanding full statehood and talks must begin. People are seeking jobs, and if recruitments begin, then people should understand this fact too. Time is not lost. The situation is under control.
The nice people of Ladakh are nice and peace loving. They believe in democracy. We should regain their trust and must not delay talks. The message must go that the government might consider their demands with full sympathy and some ways would be found out.

लद्दाख की राजधानी लेह में कर्फ्यू लागू है जबकि कारगिल में भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 163 के तहत 5 से ज्यादा लोगों के इकट्ठे होने पर पाबंदी लगाई गई है.
लद्दाख को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा देने की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन करने वाले हिंसा पर उतर आए. लेह में CRPF और पुलिस की गाड़ियों को जला दिया गया. BJP के कार्यालय में आग लगा दी गई. लद्दाख स्वायत्त पर्वतीय परिषद के दफ़्तर में तोड़-फोड़ की गई. पुलिस को गोली चलानी पड़ी जिसमें चार लोग मारे गए. हिसंका में करीब 90 लोग घायल हैं.
लेह में CRPF की सात कंपनियां पहले से ही तैनात हैं. CRPF की चार और कंपनियों को कश्मीर से लद्दाख भेजा गया हैं. Indo-Tibetan Border Police को भी लेह में तैनात किया गया है.
लद्दाख को राज्य का दर्जा देने और संविधान की छठवीं अनुसूची में लद्दाख को शामिल करने की मांग को लेकर कई संगठन अनशन कर रहे थे. पर्यावरण कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक 15 दिन से भूख हड़ताल पर थे.
मंगलवार को अनशन में शामिल दो लोगों की तबीयत ख़राब हो गई. इसके बाद बुधवार को हजारों लोग सड़क पर आ गए, पथराव और आगजनी शुरू हो गई. भीड़ ने सबसे पहले लद्दाख स्वायत्त परिषद के कार्यालय में तोड़फोड़ की. प्रदर्शनकारियों ने पुलिस पर पथराव किया. जब लाठीचार्ज हुआ तो नाराज़ लोगों ने पुलिस की गाड़ियों को आग के हवाले कर दिया.
बीजेपी का आरोप है कि लेह में हिंसा और आगजनी कांग्रेस के एक पार्षद के इशारे पर हुई. बीजेपी IT सेल के प्रमुख अमित मालवीय ने एक वीडियो शेयर करके दावा किया कि भीड़ ने कांग्रेस पार्षद स्टानज़िन सेपॉग के उकसावे पर बीजेपी दफ़्तर पर हमला किया.
चूंकि इस आंदोलन की अगुवाई सोनम वांगचुक कर रहे हैं, इसलिए जैसे ही हिंसा की खबर आई तो उन्होने अपना अनशन खत्म करने का ऐलान कर दिया और शान्ति की अपील की. वांगचुक ने कहा कि न उनका इस हिंसा से कोई लेना देना हैं और न कांग्रेस के किसी नेता में इतनी ताकत है कि वो लेह में हजारों नौजवानों को सड़क पर ला सके.
वांगुचक ने कहा कि लद्दाख के लोग पिछले पांच साल से अपने हक़ के लिए शांतिपूर्ण तरीक़े से आंदोलन कर रहे थे, सरकार ने उनकी बात नहीं सुनी, इसलिए हताश होकर कुछ लोग सड़क पर आ गए.
लद्दाख के लोग पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा चाहते हैं. उनकी मांग है कि कारगिल और लेह को अलग-अलग लोकसभा सीट बनाया जाए. लद्दाख की अपनी विधानसभा हो, सरकारी नौकरियों में स्थानीय लोगों की भर्ती हो.
लद्दाख में आंदोलन करने वालों के साथ उच्चस्तरीय समिति की बातचीत के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने कई दिन पहले 6 अक्टूबर की तारीख तय की थी, अनौपचारिक बातचीत 26 सितंबर को होनी थी. उसके बावजूद लेह में तोड़फोड़ और आगजनी हुई. इसका logic समझना मुश्किल है.
सवाल ये है कि क्या ये सब कुछ पर्वनियोजित साज़िश थी ? क्या नौजवानों को किसी ने भड़काया ? अपनी मांगें मनवाने का ये तरीका ठीक नहीं है. लोकतंत्र में हिंसा करने का हक किसी को नहीं है. बीजेपी वाले कह रहे हैं कि ये कांग्रेस ने करवाया क्योंकि कांग्रेस भारत में नेपाल जैसे हालात पैदा करना चाहती है.
सोनम वांगचुक का दावा है कि लेह लद्दाख में कांग्रेस में इतना दम ही नहीं है कि वो ये करवा पाए. वांगचुक ने हिंसा की निंदा की है पर साथ-साथ लोगों के गुस्से को जायज ठहराया.
कुछ लोगों ने इसका मतलब ये निकाला कि वांगचुक ने पहले तोड़फोड़ करने वालों को भड़काया और बाद में उनसे शांति कायम करने की अपील की. तो क्या बात वांगचुक के काबू से बाहर निकल गई थी ? वो चाहकर भी हिंसा को नहीं रोक पाए या फिर इसके पीछे कोई बड़ी साजिश थी. चाहे जो भी हो, जिन लोगों ने ये किया, वो पकड़े भी जाएंगे और उनके पीछे कौन है, ये भी जल्द सामने आएगा.

बिहार में मुस्लिम, अति पिछड़ा वोटों के लिए रस्साकशी शुरू

बिहार में ज़बरदस्त सियासी हलचल जारी है. पटना में 85 साल के बाद, आजादी के बाद पहली बार कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी की बैठक हुई. महागठबंधन के नेताओं ने अति पिछड़ा सम्मेलन किया. राहुल गांधी और तेजस्वी यादव दोनों ने मिलकर अति पिछड़ों के लिए दस सूत्री कार्यक्रम शुरु किया. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की बिहार में छह रैलियां हुईं. जन सुराज पार्टी के संस्थापक प्रशान्त किशोर ने सीमांचल में मुस्लिम बुद्धिजीवियों के साथ संवाद किया. बीजेपी ने बिहार के 26 जिलों के नेताओं के साथ विचार विमर्श किया. दिल्ली में NDA के नेताओं की सीट शेयरिंग पर बात हुई.
सब काम पर लगे हैं लेकिन असली लड़ाई मुस्लिम वोटों को लेकर दिखाई दी. ओवैसी ने साफ कह दिया कि तेजस्वी यादव उनकी पार्टी को छह सीटें भी देने को तैयार नहीं हैं, इसीलिए AIMIM सीमांचल में पूरे दमखम के साथ चुनाव लड़ेगी और RJD को हराएगी.
नीतीश कुमार ने दावा किया कि मुसलमानों के सबसे बड़े हितैषी तो वो हैं, उनकी सरकार ने मदरसों की बेहतरी से लेकर कब्रिस्तानों की देखरेख तक मुसलमानों के लिए तमाम काम किए हैं.
प्रशान्त किशोर ने कहा कि अकेले वो हैं जो मुसलमानों को उनका हक देना चाहते हैं जबकि RJD, कांग्रेस या ओवैसी, ये सब बीजेपी का डर दिखाकर मुसलमानों का वोट लेना चाहते हैं.
सीमांचल में सीटें तो सिर्फ 24 हैं, लेकिन RJD, JD-U, कांग्रेस, प्रशान्त किशोर या ओवैसी, सबका फोकस सीमांचल पर है.
ओवैसी अपनी हर रैली में कह रहे हैं कि बीजेपी तो ऑपरेशन लोटस करती है, लेकिन बिहार में RJD ने ऑपरेशन लालटेन कर दिया, उनकी पार्टी के चार विधायकों को अपने खेमे में कर लिया लेकिन उनकी पार्टी इस बार फिर RJD के उम्मीदवारों को हराएगी.
मजे की बात ये है कि मुस्लिम वोटों की उम्मीद नीतीश कुमार को भी है. नीतीश कुमार भी आजकल मुस्लिम इलाकों में घूम रहे हैं, मुसलमानों को बता रहे हैं कि पिछले बीस साल में उन्होंने मुसलमानों के लिए क्या-क्या काम किए.
बिहार में जब भी चुनाव होते हैं, तो ये मान लिया जाता है कि मुसलमानों के वोट बीजेपी को तो नहीं मिलेंगे. दूसरी बात ये मानी जाती है कि इसका ज्यादातर हिस्सा वहां जाएगा जहां लालू यादव होंगे.
पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव में सीमांचल में ओवैसी ने पांच सीटें जीत कर इस धारणा को गलत साबित कर दिया था. ये अलग बात है कि RJD ने ओवैसी के पांच में 4 MLA’s तोड़ लिए. इसके बावजूद इस बार ओवैसी RJD के दरवाजे पर खड़े हैं, 6 सीटें मांग रहे हैं. उसकी वजह ये है कि वह नहीं चाहते, उन्हें बीजेपी की B-टीम कहा जाए.
RJD के लोग ओवैसी की पार्टी को वोट काटकर बीजेपी की परोक्ष रूप से मदद करने वाली पार्टी बताते हैं. ओवैसी अपने ऊपर लगे इस tag को हटाना चाहते हैं.
इस बार प्रशांत किशोर के रूप में एक नया factor भी है. प्रशांत किशोर मुसलमानों को 40 टिकट देने का ऐलान कर चुके हैं. अगर थोड़े बहुत मुस्लिम वोट भी उनके साथ जाते हैं तो अब तक के स्थापित समीकरण बदल जाएंगे.
RJD और कांग्रेस को लगता है कि मुसलमानों के पास कोई विकल्प नहीं है. .मुसलमानों के वोट महागठबंधन को ही मिलेंगे. इसलिए अब महागठबंधन का फोकस दलितों और पिछड़ों के वोट पर है. चूंकि पिछड़ों में सत्तर फीसद से ज्यादा आबादी अति पिछड़े वर्ग की है, इसलिए महागठबंधन ने पटना में अतिपछड़ा न्याय सम्मेलन किया और उनके लिए न्याय संकल्प पत्र जारी किया.
बिहार के अति पिछड़ा वोटर के बारे में धारणा ये है कि ऐसे वोटरों का बहुमत नीतीश कुमार के साथ है. इसीलिए नीतीश कुमार जिस गठबंधन का हिस्सा होते हैं उसकी जीत पक्की कर देते हैं. इसीलिए राहुल गांधी और तेजस्वी अति पिछड़ों पर डोरे डालने में लगे हैं. लेकिन बिहार में नीतीश कुमार की पकड़ गजब की है. चाहे जो हो जाए, उनके समर्थक उनका साथ नहीं छोड़ते. इसीलिए नीतीश कुमार 20 साल से मुख्यमंत्री बने हुए हैं.

Curfew has been imposed in Leh town and prohibitory orders under Sec 163 BNS have been issued in Kargil, which witnessed a bandh on the call of Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police has been deployed in Leh. At least 50 persons have been detained after mobs set fire to the BJP office in Leh and ransacked the Ladakh Autonomous Council office.
The Director General of Police, Ladakh, S. D. Singh Jamwal said, four people died, 15 others were seriously injured and 30 others sustained minor injuries during the protests.
The bandh call was given in support of the demand for immediate talks with the Centre on granting full statehood to Ladakh and extension of Sixth Schedule of Constitution.
On September 24, mobs torched several vehicles of police and CRPF forcing police to fire to quell violence. Seven companies of CRPF have been deployed in Leh and four additional CRPF companies have been sent from Kashmir to Ladakh.
Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is spearheading the demand of statehood for Ladakh, was on indefinite fast since 15 days, but when the condition of two persons deteriorated, thousands of people came out and indulged in arson and stoning.
Local BJP leaders blamed a Congress councillor and Sonam Wangchuk for instigating violence. BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya shared a video claiming that Congress councillor Stanzin Tsepag led a mob that torched the BJP office.
Sonam Wangchuk called off his indefinite fast soon after violence spread. He said, he had nothing to do with stone throwers and arsonists.
It needs to be mentioned here that the Centre had fixed October 6 for talks between the agitators and high-powered committee. Prior to that, informal talks were to begin from September 26. Despite these firm assurances, the agitators resorted to arson and violence. It is difficult to understand any logic behind it.
The question is: Was the violence pre-planned? Were the youths instigated? This is not the right method to make the Centre accept the demands of agitators. Nobody has the right to indulge in violence in a democracy.
BJP leaders allege, the violence was instigated by Congress because the party wants to create a “Nepal-type” situation in India. Activist Sonam Wangchuk said, Congress has no strength left to amass such a huge crowd in Ladakh.
Wangchuk has condemned the violence but at the same time, he sought to justify public anger. Some others interpreted this to say, it was Wangchuk who incited the mobs to indulge in violence and then later issued an appeal for peace.
Has the movement gone out of control from Wangchuk’s hands? In spite of his opposition to violence, he could not stop the arsonists. Or, is there a larger conspiracy at work? Whatever may be the case, those who indulged in arson and violence will be rounded up and the truth will come out soon.
Bihar’s Muslims, EBC votes : The tug of war has begun
Hectic politicking is on in Bihar with the dates of assembly polls expected to be announced early next month. The Congress Working Committee met in Bihar for the first time since Independence, after a gap of 85 years. Mahagathbandhan leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi launched a 10-point programme for upliftment of Extremely Backward Castes (EBC).
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed six rallies in the Muslim-dominated Seemanchal region of Bihar. Jan Suraaj Party convenor Prashant Kishor met Muslim intellectuals of that region. BJP leaders held meetings with leaders of 26 districts, while in Delhi, NDA leaders discussed seat sharing issues.
The real fight seems to be for Muslim votes. Owaisi has clearly said that since Tejashwi Yadav has refused to leave six seats to AIMIM, his party will fight to defeat RJD.
Prashant Kishor claimed, only his party can give Muslims their legitimate rights, while RJD, Congress and AIMIM want to get Muslims votes by projecting the BJP bogey. He asked Muslims not to fall in the trap of RJD or AIMIM.
Seemanchal region has only 24 assembly seats, and RJD, Janta Dal-U, Congress, Prashant Kishor and Owaisi are all angling for these seats. Owaisi’s party had won five seats in 2020, but four of his MLAs quit and joined RJD.
In most of his rallies, Owaisi said, while BJP carries out ‘Operation Lotus’ to wean away MLAs, RJD in Bihar carried out ‘Operation Lalten’ (Lantern – RJD symbol).
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a shrewd politician, is also angling for Muslim votes. He is touring Muslim-dominated localities and telling them what his government did for the betterment of Muslims.
In Bihar elections, political pundits agree on one point, BJP will not get Muslim votes. Secondly, it is also assumed that a large part of Muslim voters would lean towards Lalu Yadav. In the last assembly polls, Owaisi rubbished these theories by winning five seats. It’s a different matter that four of his legislators later ditched the party and joined RJD.
This time, Owaisi stood at RJD’s doors and demanded six seats. The reason is clear. He does not want his party to be dubbed as “BJP’s B team”. RJD leaders allege that Owaisi’s party indirectly helps the BJP by dividing Muslim votes. Owaisi wants to get this tag removed.
But, there is a new factor now in the shape of Prashant Kishor. He has promised to give 40 tickets to Muslim candidates. If his fledgling party gets some Muslim votes, electoral equations in Bihar will change.
RJD and Congress feel that Muslims have no other option but to support the Mahagathbandhan. The alliance’s focus is now more on Dalits and backward caste voters. Since Extremely Backward Castes constitute more than 70 per cent of backward caste voters, the RJD-led alliance held Ati Pichhda Nyay Sammelan in Patna and released a Nyaya Sankalp Patra for the upliftment of EBCs.
The common perception about EBC voters in Bihar is that a majority of them are with Nitish Kumar. This is the reason why any alliance that Nitish Kumar backs, wins the elections hands down. It is because of this that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are wooing the EBCs. One must admit, Nitish Kumar has a magical sway over his supporters. Come what may, they never ditch him. This seems to be the only reason why Nitish Kumar is ruling Bihar as CM for the last two decades.

दुर्गा पूजा की तैयारियों में लगे पश्चिम बंगाल पर बड़ी मुसीबत आई. बंगाल के कई जिलों में रिकॉर्ड बारिश हुई. कोलकाता में नौ लोगों की मौत हो गई. इनमें से सात लोग बारिश के पानी में करंट फैल जाने के कारण अपनी जान से हाथ धो बैठे.
कोलकाता में बारिश का तीस साल का रिकॉर्ड टूट गया. दस घंटे के दौरान 253 मिलीमीटर बारिश हुई. पूरे शहर में हर जगह पानी भर गया. टैक्सी, बसें, मैट्रो, ट्रेन और विमान सेवाएं रुक गई. 32 उड़ाने रद्द करनी पड़ी. 42 उड़ाने देर से चली. ट्रैक पर पानी भरने के कारण मैट्रो ट्रेन रोकनी पड़ी. हजारों लोग रास्ते में फंस गए. ममता बनर्जी की सरकार ने मंगलवार से ही दुर्गा पूजा की छुट्टी घोषित कर दी. अब दशहरे तक कोलकाता में सरकारी दफ्तरों के साथ साथ स्कूल कॉलेज भी बंद रहेंगे.
पूरे बंगाल में दुर्गा पूजा की तैयारियां ज़ोरों पर है, पूजा मंडपों के डेकोरेशन का काम आखिरी दौर में है लेकिन मंगलवार को हुई जबरदस्त बारिश ने सारी तैयारियों पर पानी फेर दिया. पूजा के पंडाल पानी में डूब गए.
कई जगह पानी में करंट आने से सात लोगों की मौत हो गई. मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने इसके लिए CESC यानी कोलकाता इलेक्ट्रिक सप्लाई कॉरपोरेशन को जिम्मेदार ठहराया और कहा कि CESC ने बिजली की तारों के रखरखाव पर ध्यान नहीं दिया. खुले में झूल रहे तारों की वजह से करंट फैला और सात बेगुनाह लोगों की जान गई.
ममता ने केन्द्र सरकार को भी लपेटा. कहा, कि फरक्का बैराज का सही तरीके से रखरखाव नहीं हुआ जिसके कारण बैराज से पानी ओवर फ्लो हुआ और कोलकाता के जल प्रलय हुआ.
लेकिन शहर के नालों की सफाई, ड्रैनेज सिस्टम को दुरूस्त करने की जिम्मेदारी तो कोलकाता नगर निगम की है और नगर निगम पर ममता की पार्टी का कब्जा है.
कोलकाता हो या मुंबई, दिल्ली हो या बेंगलुरु, हमारे महानगरों में आभादी लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है. ड्रेनेज व्यवस्था जितने लोगों के लिए बनी थी, उनसे तीन गुनी से ज्यादा आबादी का दबाव है. लोग नालों में इतना कचरा फेंकते हैं कि वो choke हो जाते हैं. जब बारिश नहीं होती, तब हालात सामान्य रहते हैं, लेकिन अगर ज्यादा बारिश हो जाए तो सारे इंतजामात फेल हो जाते हैं, शहरों के नगर निगमों की नाकामी उजागर हो जाती है. कोलकाता में यही हुआ.
मौसम विभाग ने आने वाले दिनों में कोलकाता में भारी बारिश की चेतावनी दी है. बंगाल की खाड़ी के उत्तर पूर्व में कम दबाव की वजह से बरसात की मुसीबत आई है. पानी का ये कहर ऐसे समय टूटा है जब कोलकाता में लाखों लोग दूर-दूर से आकर दुर्गा पूजा के लिए एकत्रित होते हैं. मां दुर्गा के पंडाल सजाने पर करोड़ों रुपये खर्च किए जाते हैं. पश्चिम बंगाल के लोगों के लिए दुर्गा पूजा के दिन उत्साह और उमंग के दिन होते हैं. मां भगवती से प्रार्थना है कि कोलकाता के लोगों को इस दुख और इस तकलीफ से बाहर निकालें, आने वाले दिनों में बारिश कम हों और लोग उत्साह से दुर्गा पूजा का उत्सव मना सकें.
क्या आज़म खान सपा के साथ रहेंगे ?
23 महीने बाद समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता आज़म खान ज़मानत पर जेल से बाहर आ गए. सीतापुर जेल से रिहा होने के बाद आज़म खान रामपुर पहुंच गए.
रास्ते में समाजवादी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं ने उनका जगह-जगह स्वागत किया. आजम खान शाहजहांपुर से बरेली होते हुए रामपुर पहुंचे.
शाहजहांपुर में जब काफिला कुछ देर के लिए रुका तो आजम खान ने कहा कि जिसने उनके लिए दुआ की, उन्हें शुक्रिया, जो बुरे वक्त में भूल गया, उससे कोई गिला-शिकवा नहीं.
चूंकि पिछले कुछ दिनों से ये चर्चा चल रही है कि आजम खान अखिलेश यादव से नाराज़ हैं, इसलिए बीएसपी में जा सकते हैं, लेकिन आजम खान ने न तो इस चर्चा को गलत बताया, न इस पर मुहर लगाई. उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें नहीं मालूम कि राजनीति में क्या चल रहा है, पहले वो अपना इलाज कराएंगे और उसके बाद अपने राजनीतिक भविष्य पॉलिटिकल फ्यूचर के बारे में सोचेंगे.
आजम खान की रिहाई पर अखिलेश यादव ने खुशी का इज़हार किया. अखिलेश ने कहा कि योगी सरकार ने आजम खान के खिलाफ फर्जी केस बनाए, जब समाजवादी पार्टी की सरकार बनेगी, तो वो आजम खान के खिलाफ चल रहे सभी केस वापस ले लेंगे.
आज़म खान के खिलाफ कुल 104 मुकदमे दर्ज हैं. 12 मामलों में फैसला आ चुका है, पांच मामलों में सजा हुई है, सात में बरी हो गए, बाकी में ज़मानत मिली है.
पहली बार आज़म खान फरवरी 2020 में गिरफ्तार हुए और 27 महीने जेल में रहे. फिर अक्टूबर 2023 में दोबारा जेल गए और 23 महीने बाद जेल से निकले, लेकिन इन पचास महीनों में अखिलेश यादव ने सिर्फ एक बार, वो भी लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले, जेल में आजम खान से मुलाकात की.
आजम खान जिंदगी भर समाजवादी पार्टी का झंडा बुलंद करते रहे, नौ बार विधायक रहे, लोकसभा और राज्यसभा के सदस्य रहे लेकिन बुरे वक्त में समाजवादी नेताओं ने आजम खान का वैसे साथ नहीं दिया जैसी उन्हें उम्मीद थी. इसलिए उनके मन में कसक तो होगी.
लेकिन आजम खान पुराने नेता हैं. वक्त को पहचानते हैं, हवा के रुख को समझते हैं. बीजेपी में वह जा नहीं सकते, यूपी में BSP की हालत कमज़ोर है. इसलिए वो समाजवादी पार्टी छोडेंगे, इसकी उम्मीद कम ही है. आज़म खान की ये बात सही है कि उनकी सेहत ठीक नहीं हैं, इसलिए वह फिलहाल राजनीति की बजाय स्वास्थ्य पर ध्यान देंगे, अपना इलाज कराएंगे. आज़म खान जल्द स्वस्थ हों, फिर से सियासत में सक्रिय हों, यही दुआ करनी चाहिए.

Nine people died in Kolkata on Tuesday after a near cloudburst caused 253 mm of rainfall within a span of only 10 hours, equivalent to the average rainfall during the entire monsoon season. Seven people died of electrocution when they came in contact with electricity cables and lampposts while wading through waterlogged areas.
Taxi, bus, metro, rail and air services were completely disrupted. 32 flights were cancelled and 42 flights were delayed. The Metro stopped plying due to waterlogging on tracks. Thousands of people were stranded in the metropolis.
Durga Puja pandals which were undergoing final stage of completion, bore the brunt of rains. Most of the pandals were waterlogged.
Woes multiplied when the afternoon sea tide brought in more water from the sea. Airport, railway stations were fully waterlogged.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee blamed the Centre for poor maintenance of Farakka Barrage that led to, what she said, overflow of water, which deluged Kolkata. She also criticized CESC (Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation) for poor maintenance of power cables in the city.
Blame games apart, the fact is: Kolkata’s drainage system is crumbling. Kolkata Municipal Corporation, run by Mamata’s Trinamool Congress, is responsible for cleaning the city drains.
India’s top metros like Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru or Hyderabad, are overcrowded. The drainage systems that were built decades ago, were meant to handle population, that has nearly tripled over the years. In all the metros, people throw garbage into drains choking them. When there is no rain, problems are not faced, but once there is heavy rainfall, the drainage system chokes. This is exactly what happened in Kolkata.
The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in Kolkata in the coming days. There is low pressure in the northeastern part of Bay of Bengal which can cause heavy rains. These woes have come at a time when the state was gearing up to celebrate the annual Durga Puja with fanfare.
Lakhs of people visit Kolkata to watch the Puja pandals. Crores of money are spent to build and decorate the pandals.
For the Bengalis, Durga Puja is a time for celebration. I pray to Goddess Durga to alleviate the sufferings of the people so that they can celebrate their festival with joy.

Will Azam Khan continue in Samajwadi Party?

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan came out of prison after 23 months in Uttar Pradesh. As he came out of Sitapur jail, hundreds of SP workers welcomed him on the way in Shahjahanpur, Bareilly and Rampur.
Azam Khan did not speak much to the media. For the last several days, speculation was rife about the possibility of him joining Mayawati’s party BSP, but he remained mum on this issue. Azam Khan said, he had been away from politics since long, he would first recuperate and then think about his political future.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed happiness over Azam Khan’s release and promised to withdraw all cases filed against him once his party returns to power. He described Azam Khan as a “true Samajwadi”.
There are, in all, 104 cases against Azam Khan, out of which verdicts have come out in 12 cases. He was acquitted in seven cases, and was sentenced in remaining five cases. In all other cases, he has been granted bill.
Azam Khan was first arrested in February, 2020 and he spent 27 months in prison at that time. He was again sent to jail in October, 2023 and remained in prison for 23 months. In these 50 months, Akhilesh Yadav went to jail to meet him only once and that too, before the Lok Sabha elections.
Azam Khan has been a staunch follower of Akhilesh Yadav’s late father Mulayam Singh Yadav. He was elected nine times as MLA and was elected to Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha also.
During his difficult times, Samajwadi Party did not extend him the support that he required. Naturally, this would be rankling in his mind.
Azam Khan is an old, experienced leader. He can feel the pulse of time. He can understand which way the wind is blowing. He cannot join the BJP. Mayawati’s BSP has become weak in Uttar Pradesh. There is, therefore, less possibility of him leaving the Samajwadi Party.
Azam Khan is not well. He will be giving more time to his health than politics. Let us hope that he recovers soon and become active in UP politics again.

दुबई में रविवार को भारत-पाकिस्तान सुपर फोर मैच में पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ियों ने आतंकवादियों की तरह आचरण किया. जब मैच में पिटने लगे तो उन्होंने कई तरह के ड्रामे किए. जिस फरहान को अभिषेक शर्मा ने शून्य पर ड्रॉप कर दिया था, उसने हाफ सेंचुरी पूरी करने के बाद अपने बैट को AK-47 की तरह तानकर दिखाया.
हारिस रऊफ ने भारत का विकेट लेने के बाद दर्शकों से इशारों-इशारों में 6 फाइटर जेट्स गिराने का संकेत दिया. इशारा ऑपरेशन सिंदूर की तरफ था, आसिम मुनीर के झूठ का प्रोपेगैंडा था.
जब टीम इंडिया बैटिंग करने आई तो अभिषेक शर्मा ने पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ियों की एक-एक हरकत का जवाब अपने बल्ले से दिया. पहली गेंद पर सिक्सर मारा, दूसरी तरफ शुभमन गिल ने भी आक्रामक बैटिंग की.
पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ी जब पिटने लगे तो उन्होंने गालियां निकालनी शुरू कर दी. अभिषेक और शुभमन गिल ने हारिस रऊफ को उसी की भाषा में अच्छी तरह जवाब दिया. मैच के बाद अभिषेक शर्मा ने कहा कि जिस तरह पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ी बार-बार हमारे सामने आकर तेवर दिखा रहे थे, मैंने उनकी अच्छी तरह से धुनाई करके जवाब दिया. शुभमन गिल ने कहा, खिलाड़ी का खेल बोलता है.
शुभमन गिल और अभिषेक शर्मा ने पहले दस ओवर में ही सौ रन बनाकर मैच का नतीजा तय कर दिया था. अभिषेक शर्मा ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, YOU TALK, WE WIN. शुभमन गिल ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, Game speaks, not words.
सबसे मार्के की बात कही, कप्तान सूर्य कुमार यादव ने. मैच के बाद प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में जब किसी ने सूर्यकुमार यादव से भारत-पाक rivalry के बारे में पूछा, तो कप्तान ने कहा कि rivalry बराबर की टीमों में होती है, जो टीम लगातार 7 मैच हार चुकी है, अब इसको rivalry नहीं कहा जाना चाहिए.
सूर्य कुमार यादव की ये बात सही है कि पाकिस्तान की टीम में अब पहले जैसा दम-खम नहीं है. खेल के मैदान में हार-जीत होती रहती है. लेकिन पाकिस्तानियों ने क्रिकेट के मैदान को मैदान-ए-जंग में बदलने की कोशिश की. कभी बंदूक का इशारा किया तो कभी Fighter plane गिराने का इशारा किया. ये हताशा के सिवा और कुछ नहीं हो सकता.
ये पाकिस्तानियों की फितरत है. जब मुनीर जंग से हारकर फील्ड मार्शल बन सकता है, तो फरहान और हारिस को क्रिकेट के मैदान में पिटकर हीरो बनने की कोशिश क्यों नहीं कर सकते?
पहले 10 ओवर में जब पाकिस्तान की टीम ठीक-ठाक बैटिंग कर रही थी, तो पाकिस्तानी commentator अपनी टीम को aggressive और highly talented बता रहे थे. अगले 10 over में जब वो रन नहीं बना पाए. और जब पहले over से ही अभिषेक शर्मा ने पाकिस्तान के star bowler शाहीन अफ़रीदी की ठुकाई की, तो यही commentator पाकिस्तानी टीम के inexperienced होने का रोना रोने लगे.
जब अभिषेक शर्मा और शुभमन गिल पाकिस्तान के bowlers को जबरदस्त cricketing shots खेलकर तेजी से रन बना रहे थे तो पाकिस्तानी commentators के पास उनकी तारीफ करने के अलावा कोई रास्ता नहीं बचा था.
हालांकि मेरी राय शुरू से यही रही है कि पाकिस्तानी टीम के साथ मैच खेलने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है लेकिन जिस तरह से टीम इंडिया ने दो मैचों में पाकिस्तान को रुलाया, वो देखकर ये शिकायत थोड़ी बहुत दूर हो गई. लगा कि ज्यादा उछलने वाले पाकिस्तान को क्रिकेट के मैदान में बुरी तरह हराकर अच्छा संदेश दिया.
साइबर क्राइम से सावधान : बहुत लुटेरे हैं राह में
दिल्ली में एक पढ़े लिखे बुजर्ग को डिजिटल अरेस्ट का हौवा दिखा कर उनके 23 करोड़ रूपए ठग लिये. नरेश मलहोत्रा खुद एक बैंकर रहे है, बैंकों के नियम कानून को अच्छी तरह जानते समझते हैं. इसके बाद भी वो ठगों के झांसे में आ गया और 22 करोड़ 92 लाख रूपए अलग अलग खातों में ट्रांसफर कर दिए. दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने इस मामले में FIR दर्ज की है.
78 साल के नरेश मल्होत्रा कई बैंकों में काम कर चुके हैं. फाइनेंशियल मैटर्स और मनी ट्रांजेक्शन का हिसाब-किताब जानते थे लेकिन वो साइबर ठगों के चंगुल में फंस गए और 4 अगस्त से 4 सितंबर के बीच उन्होंने ठगों के कहने पर 22 करोड़ 92 लाख रूपये अलग अलग खातों में ट्रांसफर कर दिए.
जैसे ही नरेश मल्होत्रा ने डर कर ठगों से co-operate करने की बात की तो ठगों का काम बन गया. तुरंत इंटरनेट पर वीडियो कॉलिंग के जरिए फर्जी कोर्ट सज गई. नरेश मल्होत्रा का पेशी हो गई. नकली कोर्ट ने उन्हें डिजिटल अरेस्ट का फरमान सुना दिया. ठगों के साथ सहयोग करने का आदेश दिया.
इसके बाद नरेश मल्होत्रा ने अपनी संपत्ति और खातों की सारी डिटेल इन साइबर ठगों को दे दी. चूंकि साइबर क्रिमिनल्स ED, RBI और सुप्रीम कोर्ट का लेटरहेड भेज चुके थे, इसलिए नरेश मल्होत्रा ने अपनी सारी प्रॉपर्टी की डिटेल बता दी और इसी का फायदा उठाते हुए ठगों ने उनके शेयर्स तक बिकवा दिए. जब जब नरेश मल्होत्रा बड़ी रकम ठगों के बताए खातों में ट्रांसफर करते तो वो साइबर ठगी करने वाले अपराधी वसूली गई सारी रकम की लिस्ट बनाकर RBI के नाम से सर्टिफिकेट भी भेजते थे.
जांच शुरू होने के बाद पुलिस ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए करीब ढ़ाई करोड़ रुपये को बैंक अकाउंट में फ्रीज करा दिया है. हैरानी की बात ये है कि साइबर ठगों को नरेश मल्होत्रा की पारिवारिक बैकग्राउंड के बारे में पूरी जानकारी पहले से थी. उन्हें पता था कि नरेश मल्होत्रा घर में अकेले रहते हैं, उनकी दो बेटियां हैं, दोनों बाहर रहती हैं, उनके कितने नाती हैं, दामाद क्या करते हैं. इसलिए नरेश मल्होत्रा आसानी से साइबर फ्रॉड का शिकार बन गए.
नरेश मल्होत्रा को अपने साथ हुई ठगी का शक तब हुआ, जब उनसे कोलकाता की एक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड कंपनी में पैसा ट्रांसफर करने को कहा गया. उन्होंने इससे इनकार कर दिया. नरेश मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि वो सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जाकर पैसा जमा कराएंगे या रिजर्व बैंक में. इसके बाद उन्हें फोन आने बंद हो गए.
साइबर विशेषज्ञ पवन दुग्गल का कहना है कि साइबर क्रिमिनल्स ने आम लोगों के डर और खौफ को हथियार बना लिया है. उन्हें पता है कि पुलिस और कोर्ट का नाम सुनते ही लोग डर जाते हैं.
दिल्ली के पूर्व पुलिस कमिश्नर एस एन श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि लोगों को तीन बातें याद रखनी चाहिए.
सबसे पहली बात, पुलिस कभी फोन करके अरेस्ट वारंट की जानकारी नहीं देती. अगर कोर्ट का कोई ऑर्डर होगा तो पुलिस घर आएगी.
दूसरी बात, कोई पुलिस वाला कभी ये नहीं कहेगा कि इस केस के बारे में किसी को मत बताना.
तीसरी बात, पुलिस या कोई जांच एजेंसी कभी भी व्हाट्सऐप कॉल या वीडियो कॉल से पूछताछ नहीं करती. थाने या अपने ऑफिस में बुलाती है.
और सबसे जरूरी बात कानून में डिजिटल अरेस्ट जैसी कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है. अगर कोई डिजिटल अरेस्ट की बात कहता है, तो तुरंत समझ जाइए कि वो फ्रॉड है, ठग है और कॉल डिस्कनैक्ट कर दीजिए.
पिछले साल 2024 में साइबर ठगी के जरिए..लोगों से 22 हजार 845 करोड़ रुपये लूटे गए. इस साल के शुरूआती दो महीनों में ही 210 करोड़ की ठगी की गई और इसमें अगर सिर्फ नरेश मल्होत्रा का केस जोड़ दिया जाए तो ये रकम 233 करोड़ हो जाती है.
इतनी बड़ी तादाद में लोगों को लूटा गया इसका मतलब है कि जागरूकता की बहुत कमी है. पढ़े लिखे लोग, डॉक्टर्स, चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट्स, बैंकर्स भी इसमें फंस जाते हैं क्योंकि fraud करने वाले बड़े confidence और पूरी तैयारी के साथ साइबर अपराध करते हैं.
कितनी बार बताया गया कि Digital Arrest जैसी कोई चीज नहीं होती पर पिछले साल Digital Arrest में 92 हजार से ज्यादा लोग फंस गए.
मेरा आपसे निवेदन है कि सावधान रहें, जल्दी से अमीर बनने के लिए किसी तरह के झांसे में ना आएं, कोई आपको धमकी दे कि आपने नाम से फलाना पार्सल आया है जिसमें drugs हैं, या आपका नाम किसी आतंकवादी हमले से जोड़कर कोई धमकाए, तो डरें नहीं, घबराएं नहीं. किसी को न अपने बैंक खातों का ब्यौरा दें, न ही किसी के साथ OTP शेयर करें वरना आपको लूटकर, आपका पैसा कितने खातों से होता हुआ कहां चला जाएगा, आपको कभी पता नहीं चलेगा.
अगर कोई धमकी दे, Digital Arrest की बात कहे, तो अपने आसपास जो भी समझदार व्यक्ति हों, उनकी मदद लें. Cyber Crime की शिकायत करने के लिए गृह मंत्रालय ने एक हेल्पलाइन नम्बर जारी किया है. वो नंबर है 1930. इस number को नोट कर लें, इसपर फोन करें. कोई भी सरकार साइबर अपराध को तब तक नहीं रोक सकती जब तक हम सब खुद सावधान न हो जाएं.

Pakistani cricketers behaved like ‘terrorists’ at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. When they started losing to Team India in their Super Fours clash in the T20 Asian Cup 2025, they indulged in antics. Pakistan’s top scoring batter Sahibzada Farhan, who survived a dropped catch at 0, mimicked by using his bat as an AK-47 rifle, after completing his fifty.
Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf, after getting an Indian wicket, did a play-act of shooting down a fighter jet. His gestures showed as if he has downed fighter jets. The indication was clearly towards Operation Sindoor and doing a false propaganda for Pakistani army chief Asim Munir.
When Team India began batting, the Pakistani fielders hurled abuses. India’s top scorer Abhishek Sharma later complained during a post-match chat. He said, “Paaji, today, I think I needed to do something because I didn’t like what was happening… The words that were being said… after every ball, they were making personal attacks. Shubman Gill and I were talking about it — that we’ll win our team the match and give them a befitting reply.”
It was left to Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav to rub salt into Pakistan’s wounds.
At the post-match media conference, Yadav told a Pakistani reporter, “Sir, my request is that we should now stop calling India vs Pakistan matches a rivalry.” When the reporter clarified that he was referring to “standards, and not the rivalry”, the Indian skipper said it hardly makes things any different. “ Rivalry and standard are all the same. Now what is a rivalry? If two teams have played 15 matches and it’s 8-7, that’s a rivalry. Here it’s 13-1 [12-3] or something. There is no contest.”
I think Suryakumar Yadav is right. The Pakistani cricket team lacks power and class. Wins and losses do take place in matches, but to turn the cricket field into a battlefield is objectionable. A batter pointing his bat towards the rival stands like an A-47, and a bowler doing the fighter jet downed pose, are nothing but acts of frustration.
Pakistani players excel in such low standards. If the Pakistani army chief Gen Munir can promote himself as Field Marshal after losing a battle, why not Farhan and Haris, who can try to pose as heroes after losing the match on the field?
In the first 10 overs, when Pakistani batters were playing well, the Pakistani commentator was describing his team as “aggressive” and “highly talented”. In the next 10 overs, they failed to amass runs. When during Team India’s first over, Abhishek Sharma started smacking the balls from star bowler Shaheen Afridi, the same commentator started describing his team as “inexperienced”. When Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill played wonderful shots off Pakistani bowlers and started making runs at a fast rate, the Pakistani commentators had no words left but to praise the Indians.
My opinion, since the beginning, has been that there was no need to play matches with Pakistan. After watching the two matches in which Team India decimated the Pakistanis, my sense of disapproval has somewhat dissipated. I now feel that our boys have sent a good message by defeating the Pakistanis on the ground.

Beware Of Cyber Robbers

A note of caution to all. A 78-year-old senior citizen in Delhi, Naresh Malhotra, was duped of Rs 23 crore by a cyber crime gang. Malhotra had worked in a bank and he knows banking regulations. Yet, he was caught in the trap of cyber thugs.
Delhi Police Special Cell has filed an FIR after Malhotra’s complaint that he was swindled of Rs 22.98 crore. From August 4 to September 4, this huge amount of money was transferred from his account to other shady accounts. It amounted to a neat daily average of nearly Rs 75 lakhs.
The gang went into action the moment Malhotra agreed to cooperate out of fear. A fake court via internet video calling was created, Malhotra was “produced” in that fake court, and the fake court issued an order of digital arrest. He was asked to cooperate with the thugs.
Malhotra gave all details of his properties and bank accounts. Since the cyber criminals had used letterheads of Enforcement Directorate, Reserve Bank of India and Supreme Court, Malhotra, out of fear, gave away all details of his properties. Taking advantage of this, the thugs sold his shares. Every time, huge amount of money was transferred to bank accounts operated by cyber thugs, he was given certificates from “RBI”.
Acting swiftly, Delhi Police froze a bank account having Rs 2.5 crore. Surprisingly, the gang knew that Malhotra used to stay in his home alone, he had two daughters staying out of Delhi. They even knew the numbers of grandsons and grand daughters.
Malhotra’s suspicions arose when, on being asked to transfer money to a private limited company in Kolkata, he refused and said he would himself go to the Supreme Court or RBI to deposit the money. The phone calls then stopped coming.
Former Delhi Police chief S. N. Shrivastav said, people should take care of three points.
Point 1, police never gives info about arrest warrant on phone and if there is a court order, police would reach home physically.
Point 2, no police officer will say, do not disclose this case to any other person.
Point 3, neither police nor any investigating agency carry out interrogation over video call or WhatsApp. The person is called to police station or the investigating agency office.
Last, but not the least, there is no provision of “digital arrest” in India. Anybody saying he has the powers of carrying out “digital arrest” is a cheat, a thug and the victim must disconnect the call immediately.
In 2024, Rs 22,845 crore was swindled by cyber gangs in India. During the first two months of this year, Rs 210 crore was swindled through cyber crimes and if we add Naresh Malhotra’s case, the amount comes to Rs 233 crore.
It shows the lack of awareness among the citizens. Literate and well-read persons, doctors, chartered accountants, bankers become victims and the gangs carry out their cyber crimes with full preparations and confidence.
More than 92,000 people were made victims in the name of “digital arrest”. My appeal to all of you is: Be careful, don’t get caught in any trap offering chances to get rich quick, or anybody telling you that a parcel that has come from abroad has drugs in it, or you have any links with some terror attack.
Do not fear or panic. Do not share your bank account details with any unknown persons. If OTP is asked for, do not share, otherwise your money can be easily diverted into fake accounts within seconds.
If anybody threatens you with digital arrest, take the assistance of any well-read person in your neighbourhood. In order to lodge cyber related crimes, Home Ministry has set up a helpline number 1930. Use this helpline number. No government can stop cyber crime completely, unless people become fully aware and alert.
