ये एक बदकिस्मत, बेक़सूर और बेबस बेटी की दास्तां है जिसकी तस्वीरें देखकर किसी के भी रोंगटे खड़े हो जाएंगे. इस बेटी ने ज़ुल्म के आगे हार नहीं मानी.
इस हिम्मत वाली लड़की ने अपने प्रेमी के पार्थिव शरीर के गालों पर हल्दी लगाई, उसके सामने बैठकर अपनी मांग में सिंदूर भरा, फूट-फूटकर रोते हुए शादी रचाने की कोशिश की. वो शादी, जिसके लिए आंचल और सक्षम कई महीनों से संघर्ष कर रहे थे.
आंचल ने कसम खाई कि सक्षम की हत्या करने वाले अपने पिता और भाइयों को फांसी के फंदे पर पहुंचाएगी. ये दिल दलहाने वाली घटना महाराष्ट्र के नांदेड़ में हुई.
लड़की के घरवालों को ये रिश्ता मंजूर नहीं था सिर्फ इसीलिए कि लड़का बौद्ध परिवार से था. लड़की पद्मशाली हिन्दू है. दोनों साथ पढ़ते थे, एक दूसरे से प्रेम करते थे, शादी करना चाहते थे.
लड़की के घरवालों ने विरोध किया, डराया-धमकाया, मारा-पीटा. जब वह नहीं मानी, तो पढ़ाई छुड़वा दी, घर बिठा दिया. फिर आंचल पर दबाव डाल कर सक्षम के खिलाफ POCSO का केस दर्ज करवाया. लड़के को जेल भिजवा दिया.
लड़की जब 18 साल की हो गई तो उसने खुद कोर्ट में जाकर मुकदमा वापस लिया. जब लड़की के घर वालों को लगा कि बेटी किसी दबाव में नहीं आएगी, तो उन्होंने एक चाल चली.
आंचल से कहा कि वो सक्षम से उसकी शादी करवा देंगे. आंचल के भाइयों ने सक्षम से दोस्ती की, उसे चाय पीने के बहाने दुकान पर बुलाया और गोलियों से छलनी कर दिया. वो तड़पता रहा, फिर पत्थरों से उसका सिर कुचल दिया.
इस दौरान आंचल को बहाने से कहीं दूर भेज दिया गया था. आंचल को जैसे ही घटना के बारे में पता चला, वो सक्षम के घर पहुंच गई. उसकी लाश के सामने बैठकर मांग भरी और थाने जाकर अपने परिवार वालों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज कराया.
अब आंचल के माता-पिता और भाई जेल में है. लेकिन इस घटना से पुलिस के रोल पर भी सवाल उठे क्योंकि पुलिस को पता था कि सक्षम की जान को खतरा है. इसके बाद भी पुलिस हाथ पर हाथ धरे बैठी रही.
आज जब मुझे ये खबर मिली, सारी तस्वीरें देखीं तो दिल दहल गया. बस यही सोचता रहा कि कोई मां बाप अपनी बेटी के साथ, कोई भाई अपनी बहन के साथ, इस तरह की हैवानियत कैसे कर सकते हैं ?
तस्वीरें देखकर आपका कलेजा कांप उठेगा. सामने सफेद कपड़े में लिपटी लड़के की लाश है, अर्थी के सामने बैठी लड़की लड़के की लाश के साथ शादी कर रही है. आंचल मामडीवार सक्षम ताटे से प्यार करती थी. उससे शादी करना चाहती थी लेकिन आंचल के पिता और भाइयों ने सक्षम को मार डाला.
आंचल समाज की रवायतों के आगे, मां-बाप की बंदिशों से डरकर अपने प्यार की क़ुर्बानी देने को तैयार नहीं थी. इसलिए उसने भरे समाज में उस वक़्त शादी की रस्मों को अंजाम दिया. जब उस लड़के की अर्थी उठ रही थी, जिससे लड़की ने प्यार किया था, इस दास्तान को जिसने भी सुना, उसके आंसू नहीं रुके.
दोनों परिवार एक दूसरे को लंबे समय से जानते थे. आंचल को लगा कि जब उसके पिता और भाई सक्षम को इतना जानते हैं, तो वो अच्छा ही होगा. दोनों की नियमित मुलाक़ातें प्यार में तब्दील हो गईं लेकिन जब आंचल के मां-बाप और भाई को इसकी ख़बर लगी, तो उन्होंने आंचल को ऐसा करने से रोका. कहा कि सक्षम ताटे दलित है. उसका परिवार बौद्ध धर्म अपना चुका है, इसलिए रिश्ता नहीं हो सकता.
सक्षम की हत्या हमारे समाज के माथे पर एक बदनुमा दाग है. आंचल के साथ उसके भाइयों ने Honour Killing के नाम पर जो किया, वह एक कलंक है.
अगर आंचल अपनी मांग में सिंदूर का वीडियो न बनाती तो शायद इस कहानी का मर्म समझना मुश्किल हो जाता.
ये कैसा समाज है जिसमें एक लड़की अपने पसंद के लड़के से शादी नहीं कर सकती? ये कैसे हैवान हैं जो अपनी झूठी शान के लिए एक मासूम लड़के की बेरहमी से हत्या कर सकते हैं ?
अब पुलिस सक्षम को अपराधी बताएगी, आंचल को पागल बताएगी, केस को रफा-दफा करने की कोशिश होगी. कोई आंचल को समझाएगा कि तेरा ब्वॉयफ्रेंड तो चला गया, अब पिता और भाइयों को क्यों खोना चाहती है?
इस कहानी में बार बार ट्विस्ट आएंगे लेकिन ये मानना पड़ेगा कि आंचल ने समाज को सोचने के लिए मजबूर किया है. Honour Killing का ये सदमा बहुत कुछ सिखाएगा और अगर अब भी नहीं सीखा तो इसकी बहुत बड़ी कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी.

An adult girl Aanchal, marrying her boyfriend Saksham’s corpse in a village in Nanded, Maharashtra has shocked the conscience of all right-thinking people. It has raised concerns about honour killings that are taking place in the name of caste and religion.
In my 9 pm show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’, we showed videos of Aanchal Mamidwar going to the home of her slain lover Saksham Tate, where preparations were going on for his final rites. A sobbing Aanchal put vermillion (sindoor) on her forehead, put turmeric (haldi) on her lover’s body and declared that she would see to it that her father Gajanan Mamidwar and her brother should be hanged for this murder.
Aanchal and Saksham were childhood friends. Aanchal belongs to a Padmashali Hindu family, while Saksham’s Dalit family had converted to Buddhism. The girl’s family disapproved this friendship. Her father and brothers pressured her to call off her relationship, forced her to leave education and stay at home, and then filed a fake complaint under POCSO Act against Saksham, who was sent to jail by police.
When Aanchal attained adulthood, she went to court and withdrew the fake complaint. It was then that her family hatched a plot to kill Saksham.
Her family told her they would accept the marriage, her brother invited Saksham to a tea shop, where he was shot and her brother smashed his lover’s head with rock.
When Aanchal came to know about this perfidious act, she went straight to her lover’s house, where she performed the ‘marriage’ rites before the corpse. She vowed to send her father and brothers to the gallows.
I was shocked when I saw videos of Aanchal sitting near Saksham’s body. It made me think how parents and brothers can go to any extent to smash the dreams of their daughter.
Aanchal was not ready to sacrifice her love out of fear of her family and societal customs. She boldly decided to perform the ‘marriage’ rites with her lover’s corpse. People who watched her doing this, broke into tears.
Both the families knew each other. Aanchal had expected that her father and brothers would agree to the marriage, but her parents put their foot down on grounds of caste. Saksham Tate’s Dalit family had opted to become Buddhist.
The murder of Saksham Tate is a dark stain on our society. The so-called ‘honour killing’ carried out by Aanchal’s brothers is atrocious and shameful.
Had Aanchal not made videos of her applying vermillion before her slain lover’s corpse, the message would not have gone out forcefully. How can a sane society allow such honour killings?
It may be, after some months, police may project Saksham as a criminal, declare Aanchal as mentally unsound and the case may be hushed up. Some people may try to convince Aanchal that now that her boyfriend is no more, she should not lose her father and brothers.
More twists may come in this story, but every sane person must admit that Aanchal has forced society to sit up and think. This honour killing must surely make people learn what is right and what is wrong. If the lesson is not learnt, society may have to pay a big price.

देश भर में हवाई सफर करने वाले यात्रियों में हाहाकार मचा हुआ है. शनिवार (6 दिसम्बर) को इंडिगो ने दिल्ली, मुंबई, बैंगलुरु और कई एयरपोर्ट से अपनी 500 से ज्यादा उड़ानें रद्द कर दी. शुक्रवार को एक हजार से ज्यादा उड़ानें रद्द हुई थी. हज़ारों यात्री तमाम बड़े एयरपोर्ट पर परेशान नज़र आये.
दिल्ली और मुंबई से इंडिगो ने अपनी सारी उड़ानें रद्द कर दी. हर हवाई अड्डे पर अफरातफरी और कुप्रबंध दिखा. इस संकट से यात्री बेहाल हैं. सबसे बड़ी दिक्कत ये है कि उनकी बातें सुनने वाला कोई नहीं है.
एक नई आफत भी आ गई. इंडिगो की फउड़ाने रद्द होने का असर ये हुआ कि विमान किराये आसमान छूने लगे. दूसरी एयरलाइंस ने टिकटों के दाम बढ़ा दिए. दिल्ली से चेन्नई का किराया 81 हजार तक पहुंच गया. दिल्ली से कोलकाता जाने
के लिए 4 से 6 हजार रुपये खर्च करने पड़ते थे लेकिन आज इकोनॉमी क्लास के टिकट के दाम बिजनेस क्लास के टिकट से ज्यादा रेट पर बिके.
दिल्ली से पुणे, मुंबई, गोवा,अहमदाबाद,पटना जैसे शहरों का विमान किराया इतना ज्यादा हो गया कि आम आदमी के लिए इसे खरीद पाना नामुमकिन हो गया..
हवाई यात्रा करने वाले पैसेंजर्स पूछ रहे हैं कि उन्हें किस बात की सज़ा मिल रही है.जेब से पैसे खर्च किए. एयरपोर्ट पर पिछले 3 दिन से परेशानी उठाई.
देश के कई हिस्सों में जाना विदेश जाने से महंगा साबित हो रहा है. जिस किराये पर लंदन का सफर हो जाता उससे दुगुना किराया चेन्नई या कोलकाता जाने के लिए लोगों ने खर्च किया.

जाहिर है समस्या इतनी बड़ी है तो सवाल भी उठेंगे और सियासत भी होगी. राहुल गांधी ने ट्वीट कर मोदी सरकार पर निशाना साधा. इस संकट को सरकार के monopoly मॉडल का नतीजा बताया.
नागर विमानन मंत्री राम मोहन नायडू ने कहा कि इस संकट की जांच के लिए मंत्रालय ने एक कमेटी बना दी है. यात्रियों को हुई दिक्कत का जो भी जिम्मेदार होगा उस पर एक्शन लिया जाएगा.
अब जांच कमेटी बनाने से क्या होगा? किसी भी Leader की परख संकट के समय होती है. नागर विमानन मंत्री राम मोहन नायडू इस संकट से निबटने में फेल हुए. Leader का काम होता है, संकट का अंदाज़ा लगाना. क्या मंत्रालय को इस बात का अंदाजा नहीं था कि फ्लाइट ड्यूटी नियम बदलने से इतनी बड़ी समस्या खड़ी हो जाएगी, पायलट्स कम पड़ जाएंगे, उड़ानें रद्द होने लगेंगी और जब उड़ानें रद्द होंगी तो Airlines अपने किराये बढ़ाएंगी ?
जब लोग airport पर फंस गए, चारों तरफ से चीख पुकार मचने लगी तब जाकर मंत्री जी सक्रिय हुए और इसके बाद भी रास्ता निकालने में तीन दिन लग गए.
अगर नियमों को वापस ही लेना था तो उन्हें लागू क्यों किया गया ? और जब उन्हें लागू किया गया तो उनके असर का ठीक से आकलन क्यों नहीं किया गया ? अगर पहले से प्लानिंग होती तो न लोगों को परेशानी होती और न मंत्रालय की बदनामी होती.

As air travel chaos spiralled across India, IndiGo Airlines cancelled over 500 flights from four major airports on Saturday (Dec 6) even after getting temporary relaxations in hte new flight duty and rest period norms for cockpit crew.
On Saturday, 106 flights were cancelled at Delhi, 124 flights were cancelled at Bengaluru and 109 flights were cancelled at Mumbai airports.
A day before, on Friday, IndiGo cancelled more than 1,000 flights across India causing woes to thousands of flyers and sending airfares skyrocketing.
The Civil Aviation ministry has directed all airlines to follow prescribed fare caps to protect flyers from opportunistic pricing.
For the last four days, air fares have touched five to ten times the usual rates on major sectors. Round-trip fares on busiest routes shot up in the range of Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000.
A Delhi-Mumbai return ticket was listed at Rs 93,000, while a round-trip fare on Delhi-Bengaluru route showed Rs 92,000, on Kolkata route Rs 94,000 and on Chennai route Rs 80,000.
Airports in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and other cities were chock-a-bloc with thousands of flyers waiting for their flights. There was total chaos and mismanagement as flyers rushed from one counter to another to know about the status of their flights. Scenes at all major airports were completely chaotic.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media, “IndiGo fiasco is the cost of this Govt’s monopoly model. Once again, it’s ordinary Indians who pay the price – in delays, cancellations and helplessness. India deserves fair competition in every sector, not match-fixing monopolies.”
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said, a committee has been set up which will inquire into all this so that it can establish where things went wrong and who did it wrong. He warned that those responsible for this chaos will “pay for it”.
“We are going to take necessary action. This thing should not be left unattended. We are taking strict action on this”, he said.
The question is: What will happen by setting up an inquiry committee? The quality of a leader is known at the time of crisis. The minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, failed in tackling this crisis.
A leader’s job is to anticipate crisis in advance. Was the Civil Aviation Ministry not aware that such chaos could happen if flight duty norms are changed?
Was it not aware that there would be a sudden fall in the number of available pilots? Hundreds of flights would have to be cancelled? And, when flights are cancelled, air fares will take a steep hike?
When thousands of flyers were put into turmoil at airports and there was a big hue and cry, the Minister woke up and became active. And, it took three days for him to find a way out of the crisis.
If flight duty norms had to be temporarily suspended, why were they enforced in the first place? And if the new rules were implemented, why was there no proper assessment of its ramifications?
Had there been meticulous planning in advance, flyers would not have faced crisis and the ministry could have avoided flak from the public.

भारत और रूस ने आज विज़न 2030 आर्थिक और व्यापार सहयोग समझौते पर दस्तखत किया. इसका उद्देश्य दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार , पूंजीनिवेश, आवागमन और उद्योग सहित तमाम क्षेत्रों में आपसी सहयोग को तेज़ करना है.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ साझा प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में राष्ट्रपति व्लादीमीर पुतिन ने उम्मीद जतायी कि दोनों देशों के बीच सालाना कारोबार 65 अरब डॉलर से बढ़ कर 100 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंच जाएगा और रूस भारत को तेल की सप्लाई जारी रखने के लिए तैयार है.
अपने बयान में मोदी ने कहा कि “पिछले आठ दशकों में विश्व में अनेक उतार-चढ़ाव आए हैं. मानवता को अनेक चुनौतियों और संकटों से गुज़रना पड़ा है और इन सबके बीच भी भारत–रूस मित्रता एक ध्रुव तारे की तरह बनी रही है. परस्पर सम्मान और गहरे विश्वास पर टिके ये संबंध समय की हर कसौटी पर हमेशा खरे उतरे हैं.”
यूक्रेन युद्ध के बारे में मोदी ने कहा, “यूक्रेन के संबंध में भारत ने शुरुआत से शांति का पक्ष रखा है। हम इस विषय के शांतिपूर्ण और स्थायी समाधान के लिए किए जा रहे सभी प्रयासों का स्वागत करते हैं। भारत सदैव अपना योगदान देने के लिए तैयार रहा है और आगे भी रहेगा।“
आतंकवेदा पर मोदी ने कहा, “आतंकवाद के विरुद्ध लड़ाई में भारत और रूस ने लंबे समय से कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर सहयोग किया है। पहलगाम में हुआ आतंकी हमला हो या क्रोकस City Hall पर किया गया कायरतापूर्ण आघात — इन सभी घटनाओं की जड़ एक ही है। भारत का अटल विश्वास है कि आतंकवाद मानवता के मूल्यों पर सीधा प्रहार है और इसके विरुद्ध वैश्विक एकता ही हमारी सबसे बड़ी ताक़त है। “
नरेंद्र मोदी और व्लादीमीर पुतिन के बीच जो मुलाकात हुई, उस पर पूरी दुनिया की निगाहें हैं. जब पुतिन दिल्ली पहुंचे तो उनका स्वागत गर्मजोशी के साथ हुआ. ऐसा स्वागत किसी दोस्त के लिए होता है. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी प्रोटोकॉल की सीमा लांघकर पुतिन का स्वागत करने एयरपोर्ट पहुंचे और अपनी कार में बिठाकर प्रधानमंत्री आवास तक ले गए.
अमेरिका के यूक्रेन शांति प्रस्ताव को ठुकराने के बाद पुतिन और मोदी की ये मुलाकात बहुत महत्वपूर्ण थी. मोदी के लिए भी पुतिन के आगमन का समय बहुत खास था. अमेरिका ने भारत पर टैरिफ असामान्य तरीके से बढ़ाया है. टैरिफ बढ़ाने के लिए भारत के रूस से तेल खरीदने को बहाना बनाया है.
कुछ हफ्ते पहले चीन में मोदी, शी जिनपिंग और पुतिन की तस्वीरें देखकर अमेरिका के तेवर ढीले हुए थे. रक्षा के मामले में रूस भारत का सबसे विश्वसनीय दोस्त है. ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बाद भारत अब रुस से नए हथियार खरीदेगा. रूस भारत को मिसाइल सप्लाई करेगा. भारत के एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम को मजबूत करने के लिए रूस मदद करेगा.
भारत और रूस के बीच जो रक्षा सौदे होंगे, उनको लेकर सबसे ज्यादा बेचैनी पाकिस्तान और चीन को है. कहने को तो ये रुस और भारत की सालाना समिट थी लेकिन पूरी दुनिया में इस मीटिंग की चर्चा है.
रूस और भारत अच्छे दोस्त हैं, अच्छे trade partner हैं. रक्षा के मामलों में एक दूसरे के भरोसेमंद दोस्त हैं लेकिन दोनों मुल्कों के रिश्ते मजबूत हुए, मोदी और पुतिन की व्यक्तिगत दोस्ती की वजह से.
प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद आज नरेंद्र मोदी की पुतिन के साथ 17वीं मुलाकात हुई. जब नरेंद्र मोदी पुतिन का स्वागत करने एयरपोर्ट पहुंचे तो रूसी अधिकारी आश्चर्यचकित थे क्योंकि उन्हें पहले से नहीं बताया गया था कि मोदी पुतिन का स्वागत करने एयरपोर्ट आएंगे.
मोदी और पुतिन की अक्सर फोन पर बात होती है. भारत के राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोभाल भी मॉस्को जाकर कई बार पुतिन से मिल चुके हैं. इसीलिए भारत और रूस दोनों मिलकर एक महाशक्ति बन सकते हैं और एक नया World Order तैयार कर सकते हैं.

India and Russia today agreed on a five-year plan to boost economic and trade partnership by signing a Vision 2030 economic cooperation agreement.
Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed their desire to impart a fresh momentum to bilateral partnership that has existed for over the last eight decades.
In his media statement after the 23rd annual India-Russian annual summit, Prime Minister Modi said, “Over the past eight decades, the world has witnessed numerous ups and downs. Humanity has had to pass through many challenges and crises. Amidst all this, India-Russia friendship has remained steadfast like a pole star”.
Modi said, the Ukraine conflict also figured during the talks. He said, “We welcome all efforts being made for a peaceful and lasting resolution of this matter. India has always been ready to contribute its part and will remain so in the future.”
Modi conveyed to Putin that the war in Ukraine must be brought to an end through dialogue.
On India-Russia bilateral trade, Putin said, trade volume has already reached $65 billion and he is hopeful, the volume may touch $100 billion in the coming years. He said, Russia will continue to export fuel to India.
The two sides signed several agreements to expand cooperation in a number of sectors including health, shipping, mobility and people-to-people exchange.
Modi said, taking the India-Russia economic partnership to new heights is now a common priority for both sides. He said, both countries are working towards early conclusion of a free trade agreement with Eurasian Economic Union.
Modi said, India and Russia have long been standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the fight against the menace. “Whether it is the terrorist attack in Pahalgam or the cowardly assault on the Crocus City Hall, the root of all these incidents is the same. India’s unwavering belief is that terrorism is a direct assault on the values of humanity and that global unity against it is our greatest strength”, the Prime Minister said.
On his part, Putin said, Russia, India and other like-minded nations are working towards a just and multipolar world.
The personal chemistry between Modi and Putin was evident soon after the Russian President’s plane landed in Delhi on Thursday evening.
Modi broke protocol by going to the airport personally to welcome the Russian President. As Putin came down the stairs, Modi gave him a warm hug. The two leaders shared a car ride to the Prime Minister’s residence for a private dinner where they had a long one-to-one discussion.
The timing of Putin’s meeting with Modi was significant because only a few hours ago the Russian President had rejected US proposals on Ukraine during his talks with Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and top mediator Steve Witkoff in Moscow.
The talks on bilateral trade are significant because Trump had slapped additional tariff on India for purchasing oil from Russia. Russia has been and continues to be India’s most trusted friend so far as defence is concerned.
Russian S-400 and BrahMos missiles worked excellently against Pakistan during Operation Sindoor in May this year. Already, several new defence deals for purchasing Su-57 fighter planes and S-500 missiles are in the pipeline.
India and Russia has been good friends since decades. Both have been trade partners and in matters of defence. Both countries trust each other.
This friendship got a boost when Modi struck a personal rapport with Vladimir Putin. It was Modi’s 17th meeting with Putin since he became Prime Minister in 2014.
Russian diplomats were surprised when they watched Modi reaching the airport to personally welcome their President. They were not told about this in advance.
Modi and Putin have regular telephonic conversations. India’s National Security Adviser Ajit Doval has met the Russian President several times in Moscow. India and Russia can both project themselves as a superpower and can take the initiative to build a new world order.

An interesting chess game is currently going on in Pakistan between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Gen Asim Munir.
Bilal Bin Saqib, special assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been removed from his post, he has packed his bags and reportedly shifted to Dubai.
Bilal was till recently the crypto czar of Pakistan. He was the CEO of Pakistan Crypto Council. The council was launched to regulate and integrate blockchain technology and digital assets with the financial system.
It was Army Chief Gen Asim Munir who had manoeuvred to put Bilal as special assistant to the Prime Minister. Bilal has close connections with people in the Trump administration. Reportedly, it was he who arranged the invitation for Gen Munir to attend the luncheon meeting with President Donald Trump in the White House.
The removal of Bilal as Special Assistant to PM is being considered a setback for Munir. Pakistani media circles are speculating whether former PM Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shehbaz had a hand in removing Bilal from the PMO.
Meanwhile, the notification for appointing Gen Asim Munir as Chief of Defence Forces is yet to be published. Gen Munir’s term as Army Chief ended on November 29 and there is still suspense about the notification.
The timing of Bilal’s removal and the delay in notifying the CDF indicate that all is not well between the Sharif brothers and Asim Munir.
After the Pakistani army got a severe thrashing at the hands of India during Operation Sindoor, Asim Munir had used Bilal for forging close relations with Donald Trump, a cryptocurrency fan.
Both the sons of the US President, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr are in the crypto business. A deal was struck with World Liberty Financial owned by Trump’s family members and Bilal was used to brush up Pakistan’s image in the inner circle of Donald Trump.
Now that Bilal has been sacked from the PMO, there are media speculations that Munir has sent a message to Imran Khan in jail for a patch-up in order to sideline Shehbaz Sharif.
The removal of Bilal from PMO is clear indication that the Sharif brothers have stopped patronizing Gen Asim Munir. The brothers do not want to give unlimited powers to Asim Munir as Chief of Defence Forces. Gen. Munir had been flexing his muscles since his luncheon meeting with Donald Trump.
The question arises, whether Asim Munir will now be sidelined? Already Pakistan’s Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has met Nawaz Sharif and there are media speculations that the air chief may be opposing the move to install Asim Munir as CDF.
Nobody can say who will have the upper hand in the chess game between Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir. Time will tell.

एक दिलचस्प खबर पाकिस्तान से आई. पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज़ शरीफ ने PMO में अपने स्पेशल असिस्टेंट बिलाल बिन साक़िब को हटा दिया है. बिलाल पाकिस्तान के PMO में जनरल आसिम मुनीर के आदमी थे. बिलाल को मुनीर ने ही PMO में रखवाया था.
बिलाल क्रिप्टो करेंसी के बड़े कारोबारी हैं. बिलाल बिन साकिब की अमेरिकी सरकार में गहरे ताल्लुकात हैं. PMO के इस स्पेशल असिस्टेंट ने ही जनरल मुनीर की व्हाइट हाउस में एंट्री कराई थी.
बिलाल का हटाया जाना आसिम मुनीर के लिए एक बड़ा झटका है. माना जा रहा है कि नवाज शरीफ और शहबाज शरीफ ने आसिम मुनीर के साथ एक बड़ा खेल किया है. आसिम मुनीर आज भी इंतज़ार करते रहे लेकिन उन्हें CDF यानि चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ बनाने वाला नोटिफिकेशन जारी नहीं किया गया.
आर्मी चीफ के तौर पर जनरल मुनीर का कार्यकाल 29 नवंबर को खत्म हो चुका है. उसी दिन CDF के पद के लिए नोटिफिकेशन आना था लेकिन पांच दिन से सस्पेंस बना हुआ है. बिलाल बिन साकिब के इस्तीफे की टाइमिंग और नोटिफिकेशन का न आना इस बात की पुष्टि करता है कि शरीफ ब्रदर्स और आसिम मुनीर के बीच बात काफी बढ़ चुकी है. पाकिस्तान के मीडिया में इसकी काफी चर्चा है.
नवाज़ शरीफ और शहबाज़ शरीफ आसिम मुनीर को किसी भी हालत में तानाशाह बनने से रोकना चाहते हैं. जैसे ही बिलाल के इस्तीफे की खबर आई, पूरे पाकिस्तान में हलचल मच गई.
शहबाज़ हुकूमत ने इसी साल बिलाल बिन साक़िब को बड़े शोर-शराबे के साथ पाकिस्तान क्रिप्टो काउंसिल का सीईओ बनाया था. उनको प्रधानमंत्री का स्पेशल असिस्टैंट नियुक्त करके कैबिनेट मंत्री का दर्जा दिया गया था.
इसके बाद बिलाल बिन साक़िब ने पाकिस्तान में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ट्रम्प के क़रीबी लोगों को बुलाया, लाहौर में क्रिप्टो conference की. इस प्रोग्राम में ट्रंप के golf buddy स्टीव विटकॉफ के बेटे और डॉनल्ड ट्रंप के बेटे एरिक ट्रंप की कंपनी वर्ल्ड लिबर्टी फाइनेंशियल के अधिकारियों को बी आमंत्रित किया गया था.
इसके बाद बिलाल बिन साक़िब लास वेगस में बिटकॉइन कांफ्रेंस में पहुंचे थे. इस कांफ्रेंस में राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप के दोनों बेटे और उपराष्ट्रपति जे.डी. वैंस भी शामिल हुए थे. इस कांफ्रेंस में ट्रंप परिवार को impress करने के लिए बिलाल बिन साक़िब ने राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की जमकर चापलूसी की थी.
इसका असर भी दिखा था. सितंबर में आसिम मुनीर और शहबाज़ को राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने व्हाइट हाउस में आमंत्रित किया था. इसीलिए अचानक जिस तरह बिलाल बिन साक़िब को बर्ख़ास्त किया गया, उसके बाद पाकिस्तान में सवाल उठ रहे हैं कि आख़िर अचानक ऐसा क्यों हुआ.
शहबाज़ हुकूमत ने इस मुद्दे पर पूरी तरह चुप्पी साध ली है. ऑपरेशन सिंदूर में भारत से पिटने के बाद जनरल आसिम मुनीर ने बिलाल बिन साक़िब को ट्रंप की ख़ुशामद में लगाया था. उस वक़्त आसिम मुनीर पूरी शिद्दत से अमेरिका और राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप की चापलूसी कर रहे थे ताकि किसी तरह ट्रंप की मदद से अपने आपको बचा सकें.
चूंकि डॉनल्ड ट्रंप क्रिप्टोकरेंसी के fan हैं, उनके दो बेटे डॉनल्ड ट्रंप जूनियर और एरिक ट्रंप क्रिप्टोकरेंसी के कारोबार में हैं, आसिम मुनीर ने ट्रंप के क्रिप्टो करेंसी प्रेम का फ़ायदा उठाने के लिए ही बिलाल बिन साक़िब को शहबाज़ शरीफ़ का सलाहकार बनवाया था जिससे वो ट्रंप के बेटों और उनके दोस्त स्टीव विटकॉफ के ज़रिए ट्रंप के inner circle में घुस सकें.
पाकिस्तानी मीडिया में क़यास लग रहे हैं कि मुनीर और शहबाज़ के बीच ज़रूर कुछ न कुछ गड़बड़ है. इसीलिए मुनीर के क़रीबी बिलाल को बर्ख़ास्त किया गया.
ख़बर ये है कि बर्ख़ास्त होने के बाद बिलाल बिन साक़िब बोरिया बिस्तर बांधकर दुबई शिफ्ट हो गए हैं. पाकिस्तान की क्रिप्टो काउंसिल का चीफ बनने के बाद, बिलाल ने बिनांस और स्टेक जैसे क्रिप्टो प्लेटफॉर्म के अधिकारियों को पाकिस्तान बुलाया था. ट्रंप की नज़दीकी क्रिप्टो कंपनी, वर्ल्ड लिबर्टी फाइनेंशियल के साथ डील की थी.
बिलाल ने ट्रंप और उनके नज़दीकी लोगों की नज़र में पाकिस्तान की छवि बदलने में पूरी ताक़त लगा दी थी. लेकिन अब बिलाल को शहबाज़ ने अपनी कैबिनेट से बाहर निकाल दिया है.
इसके बाद पाकिस्तान में ख़बरें चल रही हैं कि आसिम मुनीर ने इमरान ख़ान को जेल में पैग़ाम भिजवाया है, अपने साथ आने का ऑफ़र दिया है ताकि शहबाज़ शरीफ़ को किनारे लगा सकें.
पाकिस्तान में बिलाल बिन साकिब का PMO से हटाया जाना इस बात का संकेत है कि शरीफ ब्रदर्स ने अब आसिम मुनीर को घास डालना बंद कर दिया है. आसिम मुनीर को CDF बनाए जाने का नोटिफिकेशन जारी न होना इस बात का संकेत है कि शरीफ ब्रदर्स मुनीर को असीमित ताकत नहीं देना चाहते. जनरल मुनीर राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप से मिलकर बहुत इतराने लगे थे.
ये बात गुप्त नहीं है कि ट्रंप ने मुनीर को व्हाइट हाउस में बुलाया थी, उन्हें काफी अहमियत दी थी. पाकिस्तान में ये चर्चा गर्म है कि इसके पीछे Crypto King बिलाल का हाथ था. बिलाल शहबाज शरीफ के घर में घुसा हुआ था. वह मुनीर का खासम खास है.
अब सवाल ये है कि क्या आसिम मुनीर को किनारे कर दिया जाएगा? पाकिस्तान के एयर चीफ मार्शल ज़हीर अहमद बाबर सिद्धू ने नवाज शरीफ से मुलाकात की है.
पाकिस्तानी मीडिया का कहना है कि एयर चीफ मार्शल ज़हीर अहमद सिद्धू आसिम मुनीर को CDF बनाए जाने का विरोध कर रहे हैं.
पाकिस्तान में इस वक्त शहबाज़ शरीफ और आसिम मुनीर में शह और मात का खेल चल रहा है. बाज़ी किसके हाथ लगेगी, ये पता चलने में अभी थोड़ा वक्त लगेगा.

तकरीबन तीन हफ्ते के सस्पेंस के बाद ये सच सामने आया कि पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान ठीक हैं, जेल में उनकी सेहत दुरुस्त है. इमरान खान की बहन उज्मा खानम ने रावलविंडी की अडियाला जेल में बंद अपने भाई से 20 मिनट तक मुलाकात की.
उज्मा ने बताया कि अडियाला जेल में इमरान खान बहुत बेचैन हैं, बहुत गुस्से में हैं. करीब एक महीने से इमरान खान से किसी को मिलने नहीं दिया जा रहा था. न उनकी बहनों को मिलने दिया जा रहा था, न उनके वकील को, न ही पार्टी के किसी और नेता से मुलाकात कराई गई.
पाकिस्तान के लोगों को ये आशंका थी कि इमरान खान जिंदा हैं भी या नहीं. पाकिस्तान के लोगों के मन में ये भी डर था कि कहीं आर्मी चीफ जनरल आसिम मुनीर ने इमरान खान को जेल के अंदर तो नहीं मरवा दिया.
इमरान खान की बहनें इल्जाम लगा रही थीं कि उन्हें इमरान के बारे में कुछ भी सूचनाएं नहीं दी जा रही. लंदन से इमरान खान के बेटे आरोप लगा रहे थे कि उन्हें अपने पिता से फोन पर भी बात नहीं करवाई जा रही है लेकिन मंगलवार को इन सब अटकलों पर विराम लग गया.
इमरान ख़ान ने अपनी बहन उज़्मा ख़ान के ज़रिए अपने समर्थकों को संदेश भेजा है कि वो पूरे मुल्क में आसिम मुनीर और शहबाज़ शरीफ़ की हाइब्रिड हुकूमत के ख़िलाफ़ आंदोलन करें क्योंकि अगर आसिम मुनीर का विरोध नहीं किया गया तो वो पूरे पाकिस्तान को अपना ग़ुलाम बना लेंगे.
इमरान खान से मिलने की इजाज़त देकर जनरल आसिम मुनीर की फौज ने tactical retreat किया है. पाकिस्तान में जिस तरह से लोगों में गुस्सा दिखाई दिया, इमरान खान के मरने की अफवाह फैली, जिस तादाद में लोग सड़कों पर उतरे उसे देखकर जनरल मुनीर का दिमाग ठिकाने पर आया, पाकिस्तान की फौज पर इस दबाव को और बढ़ाया पेशावर में मौजूद American consul general के साथ इमरान खान की पार्टी के नेता और खैबर पख्तूनख्वाह के मुख्यमंत्री सोहेल अफरीदी के बीच हुई मुलाकात ने.
इसी के बाद इमरान की बहन को जेल में मुलाकात करने की इजाज़त मिली. इमरान की बहन उज्मा खानम एक डॉक्टर भी हैं. इसीलिए उन्हें भाई की सेहत का जायज़ा लेने का मौका मिला. इमरान खान को 8×10 के एक कमरे में रखा गया है जिस कारण वो बेचैन भी हैं और नाराज भी.
जनरल आसिम मुनीर जानते हैं कि इमरान खान चाहे जेल में बंद हैं लेकिन पाकिस्तान में उनकी लोकप्रियता बढ़ती जा रही है. दूसरी तरफ खुद जनरल मुनीर अधर में लटके हुए हैं. Impression ये है कि नवाज शरीफ ने जनरल मुनीर को चीफ आफ डिफेंस फोर्स नियुक्त करने वाला notification अटकाया हुआ है.
कहा जा रहा है कि इस वक़्त पाकिस्तान में कोई constitutional आर्मी चीफ नहीं है. फील्ड मार्शल आसिम मुनीर इस कुर्सी पर अवैध तरीक़े से बैठे हुए हैं क्योंकि उनका कार्यकाल 29 नवंबर को ख़त्म हो चुका है और उनको extension देने का गैजेट नोटिफ़िकेशन शहबाज़ सरकार ने अब तक जारी नहीं किया है. आसिम मुनीर को नवंबर 2022 में तीन साल के लिए आर्मी चीफ़ नियुक्त किया गया था. पिछले महीने पाकिस्तान के संविधान में संशोधन करके एक नया पद बनाया गया जिसका नाम चीफ ऑफ़ डिफेंस फ़ोर्सेज रखा गया. इस पोस्ट पर फील्ड मार्शल आसिम मुनीर को 29 नवंबर को नियुक्त किया जाना था लेकिन, इसका नोटिफ़िकेशन भी शहबाज़ सरकार ने जारी नहीं किया है. ऐसे में सवाल उठ रहे हैं कि आख़िर पाकिस्तान का आर्मी चीफ इस वक़्त कौन है और CDF कौन है.
आर्मी चीफ और CDF के अलावा, आर्मी के वाइस चीफ और एटमी हथियार की ज़िम्मेदारी संभालने वाली strategic command चीफ के पद भी ख़ाली हैं. जिस वक़्त ये नोटिफ़िकेशन जारी किया जाना था, उसी समय शहबाज़ शरीफ़ विदेश दौरे पर बहरीन चले गए और वहां से लंदन रवाना हो गए. रक्षा मंत्री ख्वाजा आसिफ़ भी यूरोप के दौरे पर चले गए. अब शहबाज़ शरीफ़ मुल्क लौट आए हैं लेकिन उनका विमान इस्लामाबाद में उतरने के बजाय लाहौर में उतरा.
पाकिस्तान के मीडिया में ऐसी ख़बरें चल रही हैं कि extension का नोटिफ़िकेशन जारी नहीं होने से आसिम मुनीर बेहद नाराज़ हैं. पाकिस्तान के पत्रकार बता रहे हैं कि आसिम मुनीर ने शहबाज़ शरीफ़ को पैग़ाम भिजवा दिया है कि इस देरी की क़ीमत चुकानी होगी. इसीलिए शहबाज़ शरीफ़ लंदन से भागकर लाहौर पहुंचे और अब नवाज़ शरीफ़ से सलाह-मशविरा कर रहे हैं.
आसिम मुनीर के सुपर पावरफुल बनने से वज़ीर-ए-आज़म शहबाज़ शरीफ़ को तो कोई दिक़्क़त नहीं है, पर उनके भाई नवाज़ शरीफ़ परेशान हैं. वह आसिम मुनीर पर लगाम लगाना चाहते हैं, हालांकि, ऐसा करना ख़तरे से ख़ाली नहीं.
मुझे नहीं लगता है कि शहबाज शरीफ या नवाज शरीफ में इतनी ताकत है कि वो आसिम मुनीर के Notification को रोकने का फैसला कर पाएं, जनरल मुनीर के CDF बनने का मामला अटकाएं.
पाकिस्तान में फौज की हुकूमत चलती है, सरकार भी फौज बनाती है और न्यायपालिका भी फौज चलाती है और आजकल तो हर रोज इसका मुजाहिरा देखने को मिलता है. इसीलिए जनरल मुनीर की ताकत और बढ़ेगी, उनके पास ज्यादा control होगा और उन्हें किसी तरह के Judicial Order से immunity भी मिलेगी.
जनरल मुनीर का सबसे बड़ा डर इमरान खान की लोकप्रियता है और वो लगातार अदालतों का इस्तेमाल इमरान खान पर नए-नए case बनाने के लिए कर रहे हैं. इसीलिए इमरान के जेल से बाहर आने की उम्मीद कम है.

After three weeks of confusion, it was finally revealed on Tuesday that former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is well inside Adiala jail. His sister Uzma Khanum met him for 20 minutes and said, Imran is “perfectly in good health”. She quoted Imran Khan as saying that the “mental torture” of isolation is “worse than physical abuse”.
Imran Khan posted a message on X for his supporters blaming Army Chief Gen Asim Munir. He said, “I have been completely confined in a cell and placed in solitary confinement. For four weeks, I haven’t met a single human being.”
In a no-holds-barred attack, Imran Khan alleged that Asim Munir is “mentally ill and morally depraved”. He blamed the army chief as responsible for destroying Pakistan’s legal and constitutional framework, and ordering his and his wife Bushra Bibi’s imprisonment on fake charges.
For the last one month, jail authorities have not allowed family members and lawyers to meet the incarcerated former Prime Minister giving rise to suspicions that he was being put to a slow death. It was only after Imran Khan’s supporters staged nationwide protests that the army allowed one of his sisters to meet him in jail.
Imran’s sister Aleema Khan has announced that party supporters will again go to Adiala jail on Thursday and next Tuesday and will demand a meeting with Imran Khan.
Gen. Asim Munir’s army has done a tactical retreat by allowing Uzma Khanum to meet his brother Imran Khan. Since there was nationwide anger among people and rumours were spreading that he was dead, thousands of people came out on streets forcing the army chief to rethink. The pressure on Pakistani army was immense.
It was only after the US consul general based in Peshawar met Imran’s party leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Sohail Afridi that Imran’s sisters got the permission to meet their brother in jail.
Imran’s sister Uzma Khanum is a surgeon and she got the chance to assess the health condition of her brother. Imran Khan has been kept in solitary confinement inside a 8’x10’ room. Gen Munir knows that so long as Imran Khan remains in jail, his popularity will continue to rise in Pakistan.
On the other hand, Gen Munir’s extension file is yet to be signed by the civilian leadership. It is now being said that there is no legally appointed army chief in Pakistan at the moment. Field Marshal Asim Munir is occupying the chair illegally because his tenure ended on November 29 and the gazette notification for extension of his tenure is yet to be published by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government.
Gen Asim Munir was appointed army chief for three years in November, 2022. Last month, a new post Chief of Defence Forces was created through a constitutional amendment. Field Marshal Asim Munir was supposed to be appointed CDF on November 29, but that notification is yet to be published.
Questions are being asked as to who is the army chief now. Apart from the army chief, the posts of vice chief of army staff and chief of strategic command that looks after nuclear weapons are vacant.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif went on a visit to Bahrain when these notifications were to be published. From there, he proceeded to London. His defence minister Khawaja Asif went on a Europe visit. Shehbaz Sharif has since returned to Pakistan but his plane landed in Lahore instead of Islamabad.
People are questioning whether all is well between Asim Munir and the Sharif family. Former PM Nawaz Sharif is reported to have raised questions on why the army chief is being given so much powers.
I do not think either Shehbaz Sharif or Nawaz Sharif have the power to stop the notifications relating to Asim Munir and prevent him from becoming the Chief of Defence Forces.
Pakistan runs on the whims of its army. It is the army that installs civilian government and even the judiciary kowtows to the army. Once Gen Munir becomes CDF and gains immunity from judicial scrutiny, his powers will become immense.
But Asim Munir fears the rising popularity of Imran Khan and he is misusing the judiciary to slap new cases against the former PM. For the present, the chances of Imran Khan being released from jail are slim.

In a stunning landslide win in Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar scored a three-fourth majority by winning 202 seats in the 243-member assembly. Nitish Kumar is going to be sworn in as chief minister for the tenth time.
The Mahagathbandhan led by Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav lost badly. The alliance could win only 35 seats.
The final tally: NDA : 202 (BJP 89, Janata Dal-U 85, Chirag Paswan’s LJP – 19, Jitanram Manjhi’s HIndustani Awam Party 5 and Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha -4).
Mahagathbandhan: 35 (RJD 25, Congress 6, CPI-ML Liberation 2, IIP -1, CPI-M – 1). Out of the remaining six seats, Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM won five seats, while the sixth seat was won by Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party.
Clearly, Modi’s magic and Nitish’s leadership worked. BJP’s strike rate was 90 per cent.
The Mahagathbandhan’s campaign was disoriented right from the beginning and it was reflected in the results. Mukesh Sahni, who claims to be Son of Mallah, and was projected as Deputy CM face, scored a nought.
Addressing BJP workers outside the Delhi party HQ, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, his party’s next target was Bengal. He promised to “uproot jungle raaj in Bengal”. He lashed out at the Congress, describing it as Muslim League Maoist Congress (MMC) and predicted that the party will soon split because of rumblings against the leadership.
Modi used the Hindi proverb ‘Lohaa Lohey Ko Kaat-ta Hai” (iron cuts iron) to say that the “negative, communal, and appeasement policy” of M-Y (Muslim-Yadav) has been demolished by another positive M-Y formula (Mahila and Youths).
“No more will Bihar face any katta (pistol) sarkar”, Modi promised.
There is not an iota of doubt that the victory has the stamp of Nitish Kumar’s leadership. He has proved himself, in the words of his supporters, “Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai”. Close coordination between BJP, JD-U and other allies worked well. On the other hand, the Mahagathbandhan alliance was working in fragments.
It was Asaduddin Owaisi and his party AIMIM that proved to be the X factor in Bihar. He managed to convince Muslim voters in Seemanchal region that they have been and will continue to be ignored by MGB leaders. AIMIM won five seats as it did the last time. After the last elections, four out of the five winning candidates later joined RJD. Owaisi has not extracted his revenge.
The Mahagathbandhan had given tickets to 31 Muslims. Only four won. This is clear indication of Muslim voters turning away from the RJD-led alliance. On the other hand, NDA fielded five Muslims, and one won. It is indicative of the emerging change in the minds of Muslim voters in Bihar.
The Congress posted its worst performance ever. After a huge quarrel with RJD, Congress managed to get 61 seats, but could win only six. The strike percentage was less than ten. In the last elections, Congress had contested 70 seats and had won 19. This time, Congress was drowned along with RJD.
After the results were out, Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media that the results were shocking. He wrote, we could not win an election, that was not impartial from the beginning. Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel alleged, NDA won with the support of the Election Commission.
To sum up, there are a few pointers to note:
–NDA fought cohesively, while MGB constituents fought against one another.
–Modi accorded full respect to Nitish, but Rahul scorned Tejashwi.
— Modi’s ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ slogan was the gamechanger. BJP chief ministers, leaders, MPs and MLAs from different states campaigned to ensure that the party got votes at the polling booths.
— By using the word ‘chor’ for Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi earned the wrath of voters. You may remember, in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul had coined the slogan ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’, and the Congress lost that election.
–Modi and Nitish got M-Y (Mahila-Youth) votes, but Tejashwi Yadav’s M-Y (Muslim-Yadav) voters were divided.
Since Rahul Gandhi has raised doubts about the impartiality of Election Commission, I can only quote this couplet: “Umr Bhar Woh Neta Yahi Bhool Karta Raha, Dhool Chehrey Par Thee, Woh Aaina Saaf Karta Raha”. (The leader made this mistake throughout his life, there was dust on his face, but he was clearing the dust from the mirror).

बिहार चुनाव के नतीजे आ गए. NDA की ऐतिहासिक जीत हुई. महागठबंधन की ऐतिहासिक हार हुई. नरेन्द्र मोदी का मैजिक चला, नीतीश कुमार का नेतृत्व जीता.
90 परसेंट ट्राइक रेट के साथ बीजेपी बिहार में सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बन गई. जनता दल यूनाइटेड ने 85 सीटों पर परचम लहराया. चिराग पासवान ने 19 सीटें जीत कर कमाल कर दिया.
दूसरी तरफ महागठबंधन में जिस तरह का बिखराव कैंपेन के वक्त दिख रहा था, वैसा ही बिखराव नतीजों में दिखा. कोई यहां गिरा, कोई वहां गिरा. RJD सिर्फ 25 सीटों पर सिमट गई. Son of Mallah मुकेश सहनी की नैय्या पूरी तरह डूब गई. उनकी पार्टी का खाता भी नहीं खुला. कांग्रेस सिर्फ 6 सीटों पर सिमट गई. कांग्रेस से बेहतर प्रदर्शन तो असदुद्दीन ओबैसी की पार्टी ने किया. AIMIM ने पांच सीटें जीतीं.
हार के बाद कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने चुनाव आयोग पर हमले शुरू कर दिए, लेकिन नीतीश कुमार ने दिखा दिया की टाइगर न सिर्फ जिंदा है, बल्कि ताकतवर भी है.
ये तो तय है कि नीतीश कुमार दसवीं बार बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ लेंगे. बिहार चुनाव के नतीजों का सियासी मतलब क्या है, जीतने वालों के संदेश और हारने वालों के लिए सबक क्या हैं, बिहार के नतीजों का देश की सियासत पर क्या असर होगा, ये सब समझने की ज़रूरत है.
दिल्ली में बीजेपी पार्टी मुख्यालय पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने इस एतिहासिक जीत के लिए बिहार के लोगों को धन्यवाद दिया. मोदी ने कांग्रेस को परजीवी, मुस्लिम माओवादी कांग्रेस कहा और यहां तक कह दिया कि कांग्रेस में जल्द विभाजन हो सकता है क्योंकि बहुत से नेता पार्टी के नेतृत्व से खुश नही है.
मोदी ने साफ कह दिया कि उनका अगला लक्ष्य बंगाल को जीतना है. मोदी ने कहा कि गंगा बिहार से जाकर बंगाल में बहती है और इस बार बंगाल से जंगलराज को उखाड़ कर फेंका जाएगा.
मोदी ने कहा कि इस बार बिहार की जनता ने गर्दा उड़ा दिया, बिहार के लोगों ने मतदान के सारे रिकॉर्ड़ तोड़ दिये, बिहार के युवाओं ने जंगलराज वालों के पुराने और साम्प्रदायिक तुष्टीकरण वाले MY फॉर्मूले को ध्वस्त कर दिया. इसकी जगह नया सकारात्मक MY फ़ार्मूला, महिला और युवा, अपना लिया. मोदी ने कहा कि अब बिहार में “कट्टा सरकार कभी नहीं लौटेगी.” मोदी ने कहा कि बिहार के लोगों ने डंके की चोट पर कह दिया है कि वो ज़मानत पर चलने वाले लोगों का साथ नहीं देगी.
प्रधानमंत्री ने जिस अंदाज में नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व की तारीफ की, बिहार में विजय के लिए नीतीश कुमार को पूरा श्रेय दिया, उसके बाद विरोधी दलों के उन नेताओं के मन से भी ये भ्रम निकल गया होगा कि बिहार का मुख्यमंत्री कौन होगा.
नीतीश पिछली बार जब मुख्यमंत्री बने थे, उस वक्त उनकी पार्टी की सिर्फ 43 सीटें थी, लेकिन इसे बार जेडीयू ने दोगुनी सीटें जीती हैं. 85 सीट जीतकर जेडीयू ने अपने इतिहास की दूसरी सबसे श्रेष्ठ परफॉर्मेंस दी है. जेडीयू नेता ललन सिंह ने कहा कि अब सबको पता चल गया है कि बिहार के असली टाइगर नीतीश कुमार ही हैं.
इस बात में तो कोई शक नहीं है कि नीतीश कुमार ही बिहार के टाइगर साबित हुए. उन्होंने खामोशी से अपना दमखम दिखा दिया. चुनाव नतीजे देखने के बाद एक बात साफ है, इस जीत के पीछे नरेन्द्र मोदी के प्रति भरोसा और नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व के साथ साथ NDA की एकजुटता बड़ी वजह है. NDA पांडवों की तरफ एकजुट होकर लड़ा और विपक्ष बिखरा रहा. नतीजा वही हुआ, जो महाभारत का हुआ था.
बिहार में NDA में शामिल सभी पांचों दल यानी BJP, JDU, LJP, HUM और RLM के बीच गज़ब का तालमेल रहा. एक भी सीट पर फ्रेंडली फाइट की नौबत नहीं आई, सीट शेयरिंग से लेकर चुनाव प्रचार में शानदार सिनर्जी रही.
चिराग पासवान की पार्टी एलजेपी ने इस बार शानदार प्रदर्शन किया. सिर्फ 28 सीटों पर लड़ने के बाद वो बिहार में चौथे नंबर की पार्टी बनकर उभरी. तेजस्वी चिराग पासवान को राजनीति का नया खिलाड़ी बता रहे थे, पर उन्होने ने नतीजों के जरिए तेजस्वी को जवाब दे दिया.
RJD 143 पर लड़कर सिर्फ 25 सीटें जीत पाई लेकिन चिराग पासवान की पार्टी के 28 में से 19 उम्मीदवार जीते. नतीजे आने के बाद चिराग पासवान ने तेजस्वी यादव को आईना दिखाया.चिराग ने कहा कि तेजस्वी का घमंड उन्हें ले डूबा.
बिहार के चुनाव नतीजों में अगर किसी ने सबसे ज्यादा चौंकाया, तो वो हैं, असदुद्दीन ओवैसी. पिछली बार की तरह इस बार भी ओवैसी बिहार चुनाव के X फैक्टर साबित हुए.
ओवैसी सीमांचल के मुसलमान वोटर्स को ये समझाने में कामयाब रहे कि आरजेडी और कांग्रेस के लोग उनका वोट तो लेंगे लेकिन सत्ता मिलने के बाद मुसलमानों को सिर्फ दरी बिछाने का काम मिलेगा. ओवैसी का ये दांव चल गया.
सीमांचल में महागठबंधन साफ हो गया. ओवैसी की पार्टी ने पांच सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की. पिछली बार भी ओवैसी की पार्टी के पांच उम्मीदवार जीते थे, लेकिन जीतने के बाद चार ने पार्टी छोड़कर आरजेडी का दामन थाम लिया.
ओवैसी ने इस बार उसका बदला पूरा कर लिया. उनकी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार पिछली बार की तुलना में ज्यादा अन्तर से जीते. ओवैसी की पार्टी जिन पांच सीटों पर जीती है, वहां जीत के अन्तर की औसत 27 हज़ार वोट से ज्यादा है.
महागठबंधन ने 31 मुसलमानों को टिकट दिया था और जीते सिर्फ चार. स्ट्राइक रेट रहा 12 परसेंट. ये भी इस बात का साफ संकेत है कि महागठबंधन से मुसलमानों का मोहभंग हो रहा है.
बड़ी बात ये है कि NDA ने 5 मुस्लिम उम्मीदवार उतारे और एक को कामयाबी मिली. ये इस बात का संकेत है कि अब बीजेपी से मुसलमानों को डराने का फॉर्मूला भी नाकाम हो रहा है. विकास के मुद्दे पर मुस्लिम भी NDA का समर्थन कर रहे हैं.
महागठबंधन में मायूसी है. मुकेश सहनी जो खुद को सन ऑफ मल्लाह बताकर डिप्टी सीएम बनने का ख्वाब देख रहे, वह ज़ीरो पर आउट हो गए. कांग्रेस सिंगल डिजिट पर सिमट गई. बिहार में पांचवे नंबर की पार्टी बन गई. RJD को 25 सीट मिली हैं. पिछली बार से 54 सीट कम.
कांग्रेस का हाल तो और भी बुरा हुआ है. महागठबंधन में सबसे ज़्यादा सिर-फुटौव्वल कांग्रेस की वजह से हुई. कांग्रेस ने तेजस्वी पर दबाव डाल कर 61 सीटें तो ले ली, लेकिन सिर्फ 6 सीट जीत सकी.स्ट्राइक रेट 10 परसेंट से भी कम. पिछली बार कांग्रेस 70 सीट पर लड़ी थी, 19 पर जीती और स्ट्राइक रेट था करीब 30 परसेंट, लेकिन कांग्रेस इस बार खुद भी डूबी, RJD को भी ले डूबी.
सबसे ज्यादा दुर्गति मुकेश सहनी की हुई. उनकी पार्टी 12 सीटों पर लड़ी लेकिन खाता भी नहीं खुला. मुकेश सहनी ने बिहार की जनता के ईमान पर ही सवाल उठा दिए. मुकेश सहनी ने कहा कि बीजेपी ने महिलाओं को सरकारी खजाने से दस दस हजार रूपए बांटकर वोट खरीद लिए. अगर महिलाओं के खातों में पैसा न जाता, तो नतीजे कुछ और होते.
मुकेश सहनी अब हार के कुछ भी बहाने बनाएं लेकिन हकीकत तो यही है कि महागठबंधन में जिस तरह की खींचतान चल रही थी, उसका असर वोटर्स पर हुआ. हालात ये थे कि वोटिंग से एक दिन पहले गोरा बोराम सीट पर अपने भाई को मैदान से हटाना पडा, फिर भी 11 सीटों पर फ्रेंडली फाइट हुई. चुनाव प्रचार में भी महागठबंधन में कोई तालमेल नहीं था. इसके बाद NDA ने बिहार के लोगों को लालू के जंगलराज की याद दिलाई.
मोदी, अमित शाह, योगी, एनडीए के हर नेता ने जंगलराज और भ्रष्टाचार के मुद्दों पर महागठबंधन को घेरा. हालत ये हो गई कि तेजस्वी यादव ने लालू यादव को कैंपेन से दूर रखा लेकिन फिर भी जंगलराज की काली छाया से नहीं निकल पाए.
इस चुनाव में सबसे ज़्यादा दुर्गति कांग्रेस की हुई. 61 सीटों पर लड़ी, सिर्फ 6 सीटें जीत पायी, बिहार में पांचवे नंबर की पार्टी हो गई.चिराग पासवान की पार्टी को कांग्रेस से तीन गुना ज्यादा सीटें मिलीं. ओवैसी और जीतनराम मांझी का परफॉर्मेंस भी कांग्रेस से बेहतर रहा, लेकिन इतनी करारी हार से भी राहुल गांधी ने कोई सबक नहीं सीखा.
राहुल गांधी ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा – बिहार का यह परिणाम वाकई चौंकाने वाला है। हम एक ऐसे चुनाव में जीत हासिल नहीं कर सके, जो शुरू से ही निष्पक्ष नहीं था.
नतीजे आने के बाद कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने भी चुनाव आयोग को निशाना बनाया. अशोक गहलोत से लेकर भूपेश बघेल तक सब ने कहा कि एनडीए जनता के समर्थन से नहीं, चुनाव आयोग के समर्थन से जीता है.
बिहार में NDA की ज़बरदस्त जीत कैसे हुई, इसे अगर कुछ वाक्यों में समझना हो, तो ये हैं:
— NDA ने मिल कर चुनाव लड़ा. MGB वाले आपस में लड़े.
— मोदी ने नीतीश को मान दिया, राहुल ने तेजस्वी का अपमान किया.
— मोदी का “मेरा बूथ सबसे मजबूत” गेमचेंजर बना. बीजेपी के तमाम मुख्यमंत्रियों, नेताओं, सांसदों और विधायकों ने कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिला कर यह सुनिश्चित किया कि जनता एनडीए को वोट दे.
— इसी तरह प्रधानमंत्री को चोर कहना राहुल गांधी को उल्टा पड़ा. राहुल गांधी जब भी नरेंद्र मोदी पर पसर्नल अटैक करते हैं, जनता उसे स्वीकार नहीं करती. आपको याद होगा, 2019 में राहुल गांधी ने “चौकीदार चोर है” का नारा दिया था. उस लोकसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को इसका खामियाज़ा भुगतना पड़ा था.
— इसी तरह, मोदी को MY (महिलाओं -युवाओं) का वोट मिला, जबकि तेजस्वी यादव का MY (मुसलमान-यादव) वोट बंट गया. बिहार के लोगों ने मौसम बदल दिया.
राहुल गांधी ने बिहार के नतीजों के बारे में सोशल मीडिया के जरिए चुनाव आयोग की निष्पक्षता पर सवाल उठाया है.
जो ये नहीं समझ पा रहे हैं कि वो बार-बार चुनाव क्यों हारते हैं, जिनका diagnosis ही गलत है, वो मर्ज़ कैसे ठीक करेंगे. अब यही कहना पड़ेगा, “उम्र भर वो नेता यही भूल करता रहा, धूल चेहरे पे थी, वो आइना साफ़ करता रहा”.
