समूचा देश टीम इंडिया के साथ
विश्व कप में टीम इंडिया की हार हुए दो दिन बीत चुके हैं, पर सबके मन में हार की टीस अभी बाकी है. रविवार की रात को सब इतने स्तब्ध थे कि किसी को कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा था कि आखिर करें, तो क्या करें, कहें तो क्या कहें? जो टीम विश्व कप में 10 के 10 मैच जीती, वो फाइनल में कैसे हार गई? बहुत सारी प्रतिक्रियाएं आई. शुभमन गिल ने ट्विटर पर लिखा कि 16 घंटे बीत गए पर अभी भी दिल में उतना ही दर्द है जितना कल रात को था. श्रेयस अय्यर ने लिखा कि हम सब अभी भी बहुत दुखी हैं, इस हार का दर्द बर्दाश्त से बाहर है. शायद इससे उबरने में बहुत वक्त लगेगा. इन दोनों बल्लेबाज़ों के लिए ये पहला विश्व कप था. सचिन तेंदुलकर ने लिखा कि मैं खिलाड़ियों का दर्द समझ सकता हूं, एक खराब दिन कितनी तकलीफ देगा, ये जानता हूं, पर खेल में हार-जीत होती रहती है, हमें ये याद रखना चाहिए कि टीम, पूरे टूर्नामेंट में कितना अच्छा खेली. असल में रविवार की रात को आखिरी पल तक लोगों को लगता था कि कोई चमत्कार होगा. पूरे टूर्नामेंट में सर्वश्रेष्ठ बैटिंग और सबसे उम्दा बॉलिंग करने वाली टीम फाइनल में कैसे हार सकती थी? कौन सोच सकता था कि जिस स्टेडियम में एक लाख 20 हजार लोगों से भरा हो, इंडिया, इंडिया के नारों से गूंज रहा हो, वहां ऐसा सन्नाटा पसर जाएगा? लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हो सकता कि जिस मैदान में मोदी हों वहां उनके विरोधी न कूदें. मोदी ने तो सिर्फ क्रिकेट की बात की, खेल के जज्बे के बात की, खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ाया, लेकिन मोदी के विरोधियों ने स्टेडियम में मौजूद मोदी के हर बात पर कमेंट किया. बहुत सारे वीडियो पोस्ट किए. बहुत सारे अशालीन कॉमेंट हुए. मैच के दौरान हुई दो घटनाओं का मैं जिक्र करूंगा. एक तो जब मैच चल रहा था मोदी स्टेडियम में बैठे थे, अमित शाह उनके साथ थे. जब कैमरा मोदी पर गया तो वो किसी बात पर हंस रहे थे. स्टेडियम में ‘मोदी मोदी’ के नारे भी गूंजे. मोदी ने हाथ हिलाया वहां मौजूद जनता को जवाब दिया. इसको लेकर खूब कमेंट किए गए. कहा गया कि भारत की टीम हार रही थी तो मोदी हंस रहे थे. मुझे लगता है ये कमेंट अनुचित थे क्योंकि उस वक्त मैच चल रहा था. भारतीय टीम पूरी ताकत लगाकर ऑस्ट्रेलिया का चौथा विकेट गिराने की कोशिश कर रही थी. ऑस्ट्रेलियन बल्लेबाजों के लिए रन बनाना मुश्किल हो रहा था और दूसरी बात ये कि कोई ये सोच भी कैसे सकता है कि भारतीय टीम हारेगी और मोदी खुश होंगे. इसीलिए पूरी बात बेमानी है. मोदी राजस्थान में चुनाव प्रचार करने के बाद रविवार को विश्व कप का फाइनल देखने अहमदाबाद पहुंचे थे. जब पूरा देश टीम इंडिया की जीत के लिए जोश बढ़ा रहा था, तो प्रधानमंत्री भी टीम का हौसला बुलंद रखने के लिए स्टेडियम में पहुंचे. उनके साथ गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और गुजरात के राज्यपाल भी थे. मैच के दौरान, मोदी किसी बात पर हंसने लगे. लोगों ने उन्हें अभिवादन किया तो भी उन्होंने हाथ हिलाकर लोगों को जवाब दिया, लेकिन मैच ख़त्म होने के बाद, रोहित शर्मा के रोने और मोदी के हंसने की तस्वीरें जोड़कर सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट की गईं. ऐसा दिखाने की कोशिश की गई कि टीम इंडिया की हार से मोदी ख़ुश थे. कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने तो ट्विटर पर पोस्ट लिखकर पूछा कि, आख़िर प्रधानमंत्री किस बात पर हंस रहे थे? दूसरा वीडियो आया जिसमें मोदी ऑस्ट्रेलिया के कप्तान पैट कमिंस को ट्रॉफी देने स्टेज पर जाते दिखाई दे रहे हैं और फिर दिखाया कि कैसे वो जल्दी से मंच छोड़ कर चले गए. लोगों ने लिखा, मोदी ने सही खेल भावना नहीं दिखाई, ऑस्ट्रेलिया के टीम के कप्तान को ठीक से बधाई नहीं दी. उन्हें स्टेज पर अकेला छोड़ दिया. ये भारतीय संस्कृति नहीं है, लेकिन जो दिखाया गया, वो आधा सच था. अगर आप पूरा वीडियो देखें तो उसमें दिखेगा, मोदी के साथ ऑस्ट्रेलिया के डिप्टी पीएम भी हैं. दोनों स्टेज पर गए. ऑस्ट्रेलिया के टीम के कप्तान को ट्रॉफी दी, हाथ मिलाया पैट कमिंस को बधाई दी और फिर लौटकर मोदी ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बाकी खिलाड़ियों से एक-एक कर मिले. सबको बधाई दी. दिखाने वालों ने वीडियो का ये हिस्सा गायब कर दिया. जब पूरा वीडियो सामने आया तो जो कमेंट्स किए गए थे, वे बेमतलब साबित हुए. प्रधानमंत्री ने वही किया, जो पूरे देश की भावना थी. पूरा देश विश्व कप के दौरान शानदार प्रदर्शन करने वाली टीम इंडिया के साथ खड़ा है, लेकिन हैरानी की बात ये है कि कुछ नेताओं ने, कांग्रेस, उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना और तृणमूल कांग्रेस के कुछ नेताओं ने इस मौके पर भी सियासत की. खेल भावना को किनारे रखकर टीम इंडिया की हार में मोदी पर हमले का मौका खोजा. इन नेताओं ने लिखा कि मोदी अगर स्टेडियम में न गये होते, तो टीम इंडिया जीत जाती. इतना ही नहीं, फाइनल के बाद पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह का एडिटेड वीडियो भी वायरल कर दिया गया. कहा गया कि मोदी ने जब ऑस्ट्रेलिया के कप्तान पैट कमिंस को वर्ल्ड कप की ट्रॉफी दी, तो उनसे हाथ तक नहीं मिलाया. बस ट्रॉफी पकड़ाई और चलते बने. मोदी और विश्व कप को लेकर राजनीति तभी शुरु हो गई थी कि जब ये खबर आई कि मोदी फाइनल देखने अहमदाबाद जाएंगे. चुनाव का दौर है. राजस्थान में अभी वोटिंग होनी है. कांग्रेस को लगा कि वो कहीं पीछे न रह जाए. इसीलिए सबसे पहले दो तस्वीरें जारी की गईं. एक में इंदिरा गांधी कपिल देव के साथ 1983 का विशव कप जीतने के बाद खड़े दिखाई दे रही हैं. दूसरी तस्वीर में डॉ. मनोमहन सिंह विश्व चैंपियन बनने के बाद महेंद्र सिंह धोनी के साथ खड़े हैं. इसके पीछे ये सोच थी, ये बताना कि जब कांग्रेस का राज था तब हम क्रिकेट में चैंपियन बने थे. फाइनल में टीम इंडिया हारी, तो फ़ौरन ही कुछ आंकड़ेबाज़ भी सोशल मीडिया पर सक्रिय हो गए. बताने लगे कि भारत ने 1983 में क्रिकेट का पहला विश्व कप तब जीता, जब कांग्रेस की सरकार थी. इंदिरा गांधी प्रधान मंत्री थीं. दूसरी बार भी जब भारत ने 2011 में वर्ल्ड कप जीता, तो कांग्रेस के डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह ही प्रधानमंत्री थे. यानि टीम की जीत का, खिलाड़ियों के परफॉर्मेंस का श्रेय कांग्रेस की सरकारों को और उस समय के प्रधानमंत्रियों को दिया जाने लगा. कुछ लोग सोशल मीडिया पर और भी आंकड़े निकाल लाए. कांग्रेस और मोदी की तुलना करने लगे. ये बताने की कोशिश की गई कि मोदी के राज में टीम इंडिया, ICC की एक भी ट्रॉफी नहीं जीत सकी. जो बात सोशल मीडिया पर लिखी जा रही थी, वही बात कांग्रेस के सांसद प्रमोद तिवारी ने राजस्थान की चुनावी सभा में कही. कहा, मोदी को, बीजेपी को सत्ता में लाना पनौती होगी. इंदिरा जी के प्रधानमंत्री रहते पहले भी भारत विश्व कप जीता था, अब फिर जीत होगी, यहां तक तो ठीक था. इतना कहने में कोई बुराई नहीं थी, लेकिन जब हार हो गई, 19 नवंबर के दिन हुई तो कांग्रेस के कई लोगों ने कमेंट किया कि चूंकि स्टेडियम का नाम नरेंद्र मोदी के नाम पर है इसीलिए हार हो गई. उद्धव शिवसेना के नेता संजय राउत ने तो बड़ी चतुराई से फाइनल में हार के लिए नरेंद्र मोदी को जिम्मेदार ठहरा दिया. इन लोगों को कौन समझाए कि इसी नरेंद्र मोदी स्टेडियम में टीम इंडिया ने पाकिस्तान को शिकस्त दी थी. फिर देश में इंदिरा गांधी स्टेडियम हैं, जवाहर लाल नेहरू स्टेडियम हैं, राजीव गांधी स्टेडियम हैं. क्या उनमें कभी टीम इंडिया की हार नहीं हुई? कांग्रेस के नेता प्रमोद तिवारी ने एक पब्लिक मीटिंग में कहा कि टीम इंडिया ने 10 मैच जीते फिर इस मैच में कौन पहुंच गया जिसकी वजह से हार हुई? मुझे लगता है कि आज के ज़माने में इस तरह के अंधविश्वास की बातें करना, किसी को पनौती कहना, खेल के मैदान में हार जीत को किसी के नाम से जोड़ना बहुत ही घटिया स्तर की राजनीति की मिसाल है. जब हमारा चंद्रयान चंद्रमा पर पहुंच चुका है, जब भारत न्यूक्लियर बम बना चुका है, जब पूरी दुनिया भारत को एक मॉडर्न साइंटिफिक इंडिया के तौर पर देख रही है तो ऐसे में सिर्फ सियासत के लिए इस तरह की बातें करना, चाहे कोई भी करे, अच्छी बात नहीं है. सब लोगों को मिलकर ये देखना चाहिए कैसे पूरा देश हमारी टीम के साथ खड़ा है. पहली बार फाइनल में हार के बावजूद लोग अपनी टीम के साथ खड़े हैं, अपनी टीम की हौसला अफजाई कर रहे हैं. जब रोहित शर्मा मैच हारने के बाद कमेंटेटर से बात करने के लिए सामने आए तो पूरा स्टेडियम उनके लिए तालियां बजा रहा था. ‘रोहित, रोहित’ के नारे सुनाई दे रहे थे.प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट का अवार्ड लेने के लिए जब विराट कोहली स्टेज पर आए तो उनका चेहरा उदास था, लेकिन पूरा स्टेडियम ‘कोहली, कोहली’ के नारों से गूंज रहा था. मैंने हारी हुई टीम के लिए इतना प्यार पहली बार देखा है. ये हमारे देश की भावना है. सबको इसी भावना के साथ रहना चाहिए. कप हारा तो क्या हुआय़ करोड़ों दिल तो जीत लिए. एक मैच हारा तो क्या? पहले 10 तो जीत लिए. कोई-कोई दिन ऐसा होता है, जब किस्मत साथ नहीं देती. .कितनी भी कोशिश कर लो सफलता हाथ नहीं लगती. जल्दी ही ऐसा दिन आएगा, जब किस्मत भी अपना रंग दिखाएगी. सबको हराकर हमारी टीम विश्व चैंपियन बन जाएगी.
THE NATION STANDS WITH TEAM INDIA
More than a day has passed, and yet the pain is still lingering in the hearts of all Indians. Everyone was shell-shocked on Sunday night. None could comprehend how a team that played like a champion, won 10 consecutive matches on the trot, faltered at the final. There have been too many reactions on social, print and electronic media. Batter Shubman Gill wrote on X: “Been almost 16 hours but still hurts like it did last night. Sometimes giving your everything isn’t enough,. We fell short of our ultimate goal, but every step in this journey has been a testament to our team’s spirit and dedication….This isn’t the end, it’s not over until we win. Jai Hind.” Shreyas Iyer wrote: “We’re heartbroken, it still hasn’t sunk in and it won’t for a while.” For both Shubman and Shreyas, it was their first World Cup. Sachin Tendulkar wrote: “Hard luck Team India, just one bad day in an otherwise sterling tournament can be heartbreaking. I can imagine the agony of the players, fans and well-wishers and what they must be going through. Losses at a part of the sport, but let us remember that this unity gave their all for us throughout the tournament.” Wins and losses are part of the game, but we must remember one fact: this team played its best throughout the tournament. In fact, till the last overs were being bowled, there was expectation among some that some last-minute miracle could happen. Nobody could believe, how a team which was the best in both batting and bowling, could lose the final. Nobody could dream that a stadium, filled up with 1,20,000 spectators shouting “India, India”, will fall silent. Since Modi was present inside the stadium, his opponents decided not to remain silent. Modi met the players inside the dressing room after the match. He tried to shore up their morale, but his rivals virtually trolled him on social media. They commented on each aspect of Modi’s presence inside the stadium. Some of them posted craftily edited videos, memes and what not. Most of the comments about Modi were below the belt. I will mention only two videos. When the camera focused on the PM, with Amit Shah sitting beside him, Modi laughed on some issue, and there was chant of ‘Modi, Modi’ among the spectators. Modi waved his hand at the spectators. This video was posted on social media by Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate with the comment: “Our team is in tears, the nation is heartbroken – what is he smiling so widely about?” I think, such comments are unfair. At that time, the match was in progress, and Team India was trying its best to get Australia’s fourth wicket. The Australian batsmen were finding it difficult to make runs. How can anyone dream that Modi would laugh when Team India is losing? Modi had reached Ahmedabad on Sunday afternoon, after taking a break from Rajasthan electioneering. The entire nation was boosting the morale of our team, and the Prime Minister was present in the stadium to cheer the players. Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Governor were sitting beside him in the box. The second video relates to the Cup presentation ceremony. Modi and the Australian deputy PM are seen walking on the dais to present the World Cup to Australian captain Pat Cummins. The edited video abruptly cuts off, showing Modi walking away after handing over the Cup to Cummins, and the latter standing with the Cup alone on the dais. Some people wrote about how Modi was unsportsmanlike and did not felicitate the Aussie captain properly. Some wrote, this is not part of Indian culture, but the fact is: the video showed the half-truth. In the full video, Modi and the Australian deputy PM went to the dais, presented the World Cup to Cummins, both shook hands with the Aussie captain and congratulated him, and then Modi came away from the dais, and shook hands with each of the Australian players standing on the field. The mischief was done by editing the full video to present Modi in a poor light. The Prime Minister did what every Indian wanted. The entire nation today stands with Team India, which displayed its best performance so far. But there were politicians from Shiv Sena (UT) and Trinamool Congress who sniped at Modi, keeping sportsman spirit on the sidelines. These leaders wrote that Team India would not have lost, had Modi not come to the stadium. Snide political comments had begun, the moment news spread that Modi was going to visit the stadium to watch the final. The Congress, fighting its electoral battle in Rajasthan, soon came out with two photographs of the then PM Indira Gandhi with Kapil Dev carrying the first ODI World Cup in 1983, and the then PM Dr Manmohan Singh with M S Dhoni carrying the ODI World Cup in 2011. The idea was to convey to the people that India won the World Cup only when the Congress was in power. These statisticians tried to give the credit of Indian players to the then prime ministers from Congress. Some others came out with comparisons how Team India could not win a single ICC trophy in the last nine years of Modi’s rule. These messages on social media were also being conveyed at election rallies. In Rajasthan, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said, “electing Modi or BJP will be a bad omen (‘panauti’ in Hindi)”. Shiv Sena (UT) leader Sanjay Raut held Modi responsible for Team India’s defeat in World Cup final because the stadium has been named after him. Now, who is going to tell the politicians that it was at Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad that Team India had crushed Pakistan in the World Cup match? There are stadiums in India named after Indira Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi. Did Team India never lose in those stadiums? I think, superstitious beliefs like describing some person as a bad omen (panauti), and linking victory or defeat to a name, is the lowest form of politics. India has successfully sent its ‘Chandrayaan’ spacecraft to the South Pole of the Moon, which no nation has achieved till now. We are a big nuclear power. At a time, when the entire world knows India is a modern nation which has excelled in the frontiers of science and technology, it is not a good thing to mix superstition with sports in order to score political brownie points. All of us must understand how the entire nation today stands with its team. For the first time, the people of India stand steadfast with Team India despite the defeat in the final. People and fans are trying to boost the morale of our cricketers. When Rohit Sharma came to answer questions from the commentator after the match, spectators in the stadium clapped and chanted ‘Rohit, Rohit’. When Virat Kohli came to the stage to collect the Player of the Tournament award, he looked sad, but the entire stadium was reverberating with chants of ‘Kohli, Kohli’. For the first time I have seen a defeated team getting so much love and affection from its fans. This is our national spirit. All of us should be part of this national spirit. No matter we lost the Cup, but our team has won the hearts of a billion people. No matter we lost a crucial match, but out team won 10 previous matches consecutively. There are days when luck runs out, and howsoever one tries one’s best, success finally eludes. Very soon we will see the day when luck will smile on us and Team India will defeat all others to become world champions.
‘डीप फेक’ वीडियो : एक नया खतरा
आज आपको एक खतरे के बारे में आगाह करना चाहता हूं। ये खतरा है, डीप फेक वीडियो का। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को इस बारे में चेतावनी भी दी। मोदी ने कहा कि एक तरफ नई-नई टैक्नोलॉजी जिंदगी को जहां आसान बना रही है, वहीं नई टैक्नोलॉजी के अपने खतरे भी हैं। ऐसे खतरे, जो किसी की जिंदगी बर्बाद कर सकते हैं, सामाजिक ताने-बाने को खराब कर सकते हैं, समाज में तनाव पैदा कर सकते हैं, इसलिए इससे सावधान रहने की ज़रूरत है। मोदी ने कहा कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटैलीजेंस के आने के बाद अब जागरूकता जरूरी है क्योंकि आर्टिफीशियल इंटैलीजेंस असली-नकली का फर्क खत्म कर देती है, पता ही नहीं चलता कि क्या सच्चा है और क्या नकली। मोदी ने फेक वीडियो की बात की। कहा कि आजकल सबके हाथ में फोन है, हर फोन में तमाम तरह के एप हैं, सबमें सोशल मीडिया एप हैं और अगर एक फेक वीडियो आता है तो वो कुछ ही मिनटों में सोशल मीडिया के जरिए लाखों लोगों तक पहुंच जाता है, लोग उसे सही समझ लेते हैं। इससे किसी व्यक्ति या समाज का बड़ा नुकसान हो सकता है।
मोदी ने जो कहा वो बात सुनने में छोटी लग सकती है लेकिन ये खतरा वाकई में बहुत बड़ा है। मोदी शुक्रवार को पत्रकारों के साथ एक दीपावली मिलन समारोह में बोल रहे थे। उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे एक नकली वीडियो में उन्हें महिलाओं के साथ गरबा डांस करते हुए दिखाया गया। मोदी ने बताया कि स्कूल के दिनों के बाद से उन्होंने कभी गरबा डांस किया ही नहीं। लेकिन इस वीडियो को देखकर कोई नहीं कह सकता कि वीडियो में जो व्यक्ति गरबा कर रहा है, वो प्रधानमंत्री नहीं। ये एक डीप फेक वीडियो है। चूंकि टैकनोलॉजी इतनी आगे बढ़ गई है कि किसी भी व्यक्ति को कुछ भी करते हुए, कहते हुए दिखाया जा सकता है। चेहरा भी उसी का होगा, आवाज़ भी उसी की होगी, लेकिन सब नकली। और क्या असली है, क्या नकली है, इसकी पुष्टि करने के लिए आम लोगों के पास कोई ज़रिया नहीं है। इसलिए जो दिखता है, लोग उसी पर भरोसा कर लेते हैं। मोदी ने कहा कि अभी भले समझ में न आए लेकिन आर्टिफिशियल इंटैलीजेंस का खतरा भविष्य में बड़ी परेशानियां पैदा कर सकता है, इसलिए इसके प्रति लोगों को सावधान करने की जरूरत है।
फेक वीडियो का कैसे दुरूपयोग हो सकता है, इसका उदाहरण मध्य प्रदेश के चुनाव में हुआ। चुनाव के दौरान फेक वीडियो का खूब इस्तेमाल हुआ। कांग्रेस और बीजेपी ने इसको लेकर चुनाव आयोग में एक दूसरे के खिलाफ खूब शिकायतें कीं। शुक्रवार को वोटिंग खत्म होने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज चौहान ने आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस ने चुनाव के दौरान नकली, झूठे वीडियो दिखाए और जनता को गुमराह करने की कोशिश की। दरअसल, बीजेपी ने झूठे प्रचार और गलत तरीकों से प्रचार के करीब दो दर्जन शिकायतें की हैं, इनमें ज्यादातर शिकायतें उन वीडियो की है, जो दूसरे वीडियो पर नकली आवाज़ और ग्राफिक्स सुपरइंपोज करके बनाए गए हैं। इस तरह के कई वीडियो मध्य प्रदेश में सोशल मीडिया के जरिए खूब फैलाए गए। एक वीडियो में दिखाया गया कि शिवराज सिंह कैबिनेट की मीटिंग के दौरान मंत्रियों और अफसरों से कह रहे है कि ‘जनता बहुत नाराज है.. बीजेपी भारी अंतर से हार सकती है…इसलिए कुछ भी करो…हर गांव में जाओ, बूथ पर जाओ…जो करना है करो…अभी वक्त है…सब ठीक करो…मैनेज करो…’ असली वीडियो चुनाव के एलान से पहले शिवराज सिंह चौहान की आखिरी कैबिनेट मीटिंग का है। वीडियो असली था, लेकिन इसमें आवाज शिवराज सिंह चौहान की नहीं है। चौहान की आवाज की हुबहू नकल करके इसे वीडियो पर सुपर इंपोज किया गया। इस वीडियो को जिन व्हॉट्सऐप ग्रुप्स के जरिए फैलाया गया, उनकी शिकायत पुलिस से की गई। पुलिस ने जांच करके इस तरह के वीडियो को तमाम सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स से हटवाया। इस तरह के वीडियो कांग्रेस से जुड़े लोगों की तरफ से सर्कुलेट किए गए। ऐसे दर्जनों वीडियो बनाए गए।
‘कौन बनेगा करोड़पति’ की ओरिजनल क्लिप से छेड़छाड़ की गई। होस्ट और कंटेस्टेंट की आवाज़ बदलकर सारा कटेंट बदल दिया गया। इस वीडियो से ये मैसेज देने की कोशिश की गई कि शिवराज सिंह सिर्फ घोषणाएं करते हैं, उन पर अमल नहीं करते। कौन बनेगा करोड़पति शो के होस्ट अमिताभ बच्चन थे, लेकिन आवाज सबकी नकली थी। आवाज सुपरइंपोज करके, ग्राफिक्स डालकर ऐसा दिखाने की कोशिश की गई जैसे वाकई में ‘कौन बनेगा करोड़पति’ में सवाल पूछा गया और शिवराज सिंह चौहान को घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री बताया गया। कांग्रेस के नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं ने इसे मध्य प्रदेश में खूब सर्कुलेट किया। ‘कौन बनेगा करोड़पति’ को टेलीकास्ट करने वाली कंपनी सोनी टीवी को सफाई देनी पड़ी जिसमें कहा गया कि ये नकली वीडियो है, होस्ट और कंटेस्टेंट्स की आवाज़ से छेड़छाड़ की गई है, साइबर क्राइम सेल में शिकायत की गई है। सोनी टीवी ने लोगों से अपील की कि इस तरह के वीडियो शेयर न करें। इसी तरह मशहूर एक्टर कार्तिक आर्यन को भी इस तरह के गुमराह करने वाले एक नकली कैम्पेन में लपेट लिया गया। कांग्रेस के ब्लू टिक वाले किसी समर्थक ने कार्तिक आर्यन का एक वीडियो शेयर कर दिया और उसके साथ कैप्शन लिखा कि अब तो कार्तिक आर्यन भी कांग्रेस का समर्थन करने लगे हैं। चूंकि कार्तिक आर्यन मध्यप्रदेश के ही रहने वाले हैं, इसलिए जानबूझकर उनका वीडियो इस फर्जी कैम्पेन के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया। इस वीडियो की खास बात ये थी कि इसमें कांग्रेस का चुनाव निशान पंजा भी लगाया गया था। कार्तिक आर्यन ने अगले ही दिन स्पष्टीकरण जारी कर दिया और कहा कि जिस वीडियो से छेड़छाड़ कर सियासत की जा रही है वो तो एक OTT प्लेटफॉर्म का एड है, जिसे डॉक्टर्ड करके कांग्रेस का विज्ञापन बना दिया गया।
नकली वीडियो की समस्या गंभीर है। अब AI से, DEEP FAKE से ये खतरा और भी बढ़ गया है। चुनाव के दौरान शिवराज सिंह को बदनाम करने के लिए अमिताभ बच्चन की लोकप्रियता का गलत इस्तेमाल किया गया, KBC जैसे बड़े शो की विश्सनीयता का बेजा इस्तेमाल हुआ, ये खतरनाक प्रवृत्ति है। जब तक चुनाव आयोग के पास शिकायतें पहुंची, पुलिस में FIR हुई तब तक काफी नुकसान हो चुका था। ये तो कुछ मिसालें हैं। आजकल सबके फोन में नकली वीडियो हर रोज़ आते हैं लेकिन ज्यादातर लोग इन्हें गंभीरता से नहीं लेते। जो गंभीरता से लेते हैं, उनके पास इन वीडियो की सच्चाई जानने का कोई तरीका नहीं है। मुझे हर रोज पांच-छह लोग वीडियो भेजकर पूछते हैं, क्या ये सही है या fake है? इंडिया टीवी के पास एक टीम है जो ऐसे वीडियो को वैरिफाई करती है लेकिन इंटरनेट तो एक महासागर है, इसका जाल कोने-कोने में फैला है। सारे वीडियो को वैरिफाई कर पाना असंभव है। दूसरी बात ये है कि दो तीन साल पहले एक नकली वीडियो तैयार करने में दो-तीन दिन लग जाते थे, उसके लिए बहुत सारी हाई डेफिनेशन फुटेज की जरुरत होती थी, अब तो एक से एक सॉफ्टवेयर उपलब्ध है। चार-पांच घंटे में फर्जी वीडियो तैयार हो जाते हैं। किसी वीडियो पर नकली आवाज़ लगाना, लिप सिंक मैच करना तो और भी आसान हो गया है। नकली वीडियो से रातों रात किसी की बदनामी हो सकती है, लोगों की भावनाएं भड़काई जा सकती हैं, इसलिए ये समाज के लिए बड़ा खतरा है। इसका एक और पहलू है। वो ये कि अगर किसी नेता का वीडियो असली हो, वो रिश्वत लेते भी पकड़ा जाए, सिफारिश करते उसका वीडियो रिकॉर्ड हो जाए, तो वो बड़ी आसानी से कह देगा कि ये वीडियो नकली है। फॉरेंसिक जांच करवा लो, जांच होते होते, रिपोर्ट आते-आते महीनों लग जाएंगे। अगर रिपोर्ट खिलाफ आई तो रिपोर्ट पर सवाल उठा दिए जाएंगे, इसलिए इस खतरे को समझना जरूरी है। साइबर एक्सपर्ट्स की मदद से इसके बारे में लोगों को जागरूक करना ज़रुरी है,और हम सबको सावधान रहना है कि बिना वैरिफाई करे, किसी भी वीडियो को forward न करें और जैसा प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा, fake video और deep fake पर, AI पर, नकली होने का, फेक होने का, फर्जी होने का ठप्पा लगाना पहला कदम है। जैसे-जैसे technology और आगे जाएगी, ये खतरा और बढ़ेगा और हम सबको और ज्यादा सतर्क रहने की जरूरत पड़ेगी।। इस पूरे मसले में मीडिया की जिम्मेदारी बहुत अहम है। हम लोगों को INFORMED रखें, AI को और CHAT GPT को विश्वसनीयता देने की बजाए जहां-जहां इसका इस्तेमाल करें उसे फेक बताना न भूलें। ये हम सबकी जिम्मेदारी है। टेक्नोलॉजी का बेजा इस्तेमाल न हो। कोई किसी की इज्जत उछालने के लिए फर्जी वीडियो और DEEP FAKE का इस्तेमाल न कर पाए। एक और बात कहना चाहता हूं। मुझे शिकायतें मिलती है कि कोई मेरी तस्वीर लगाकर दवाई बेच रहा है, कोई मेरे नाम से मीडिया में नौकरियां देने की बात कर रहा है, किसी ने तो मेरे नाम से फर्जी फोन मैसेज भी भेज दिए। मेरे ऑफिस ने इन सबके बारे में पुलिस में शिकायत की है। आप भी सावधान रहें, किसी फर्जी विज्ञापन पर भरोसा न करें, जब ज़रूरत हो तो इंडिया टीवी से संपर्क करें। ऐसी किसी भी जानकारी को वैरिफाई करें। मेरे बारे में कोई भी सूचना, मेरे अपने या इंडिया टीवी के ऑफिशियल हैंडल से पोस्ट की जाती है। वही verified है, उसी पर यकीन करें।
DEEP FAKE VIDEO : THE NEW DANGER
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed serious concern over the emerging threat from “deep fake” videos created through artificial intelligence-powered technology. He was addressing a Diwali Milan program with journalists in Delhi. Modi said, “a new crisis is emerging due to deep fakes produced through artificial intelligence. We have a big section of people who do not have the tools to carry out verification about their authenticity and ultimately people end up believing the videos to be genuine. This is going to become a big challenge.” Modi mentioned how he was targeted in a deep fake video showing he was doing ‘garba’ dance at a Navratri festival. “They did it very well, but the fact is I have not played garba since ages. I used to play garba when I was a child, and I stopped playing after my school days. Because of this fake video made through artificial intelligence, my followers are forwarding this”, the Prime Minister said. Modi said, he had raised the issue with stakeholders in artificial intelligence industry. “I suggested to them that they should consider tagging AI-generated content which is vulnerable to misuse”, he said. Modi said, while new AI technology is making life easier, it can be dangerous too, with the making of ‘deep fake’ videos. Such videos can spoil lives and damage the social fabric, they can create tension in society, and everyone needs to be on guard, he said. Modi said, with most of the Indians using cell phones frequently, any ‘deep fake video’ can be circulated through social media within seconds to millions of people and it can cause a big harm to society. He said, the issue may be a minor one, but the danger is big. In a ‘deep fake’ video, a person’s face or other parts of the body can be superimposed on the face or body parts of another person and can be passed off as genuine. Katrina Kaif, Kajol, Rashmika Mandanna and several other celebrities have been targeted recently through ‘deep fake’ videos. In the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, fake videos were used by political parties, and both Congress and BJP lodged complaints with the Election Commission. On Friday, after voting was over in MP, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan alleged that voters were misled by circulating fake videos. BJP has lodged at least two dozen complaints with the EC, and most of them relate to fake videos. In one of the fake videos, Chouhan is shown telling ministers and bureaucrats that “people are angry..BJP can lose by big margins..go to every village and booth….go and manage”. The video was of the last cabinet meeting presided over the CM, but the voice superimposed was not that of Chouhan. A voice nearly matching the CM’s was superimposed in the video. Police had to ask social media platforms to remove this fake video. Even, some popular TV show videos were morphed to misguide voters. In one ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ video clip, the entire content was changed by superimposing the voices of the host and the contestant. The purpose was to convey to the viewers that Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a “ghoshna mukhyamantri”. Police is unable to trace the origin of this video, but it was widely circulated by Congess supporters. Last month, Sony TV had to issue a clarification describing it as fabricated. It said, “we have been alerted to the circulation of an unauthorized video from our show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. This video misleadingly overlays a fabricated voice-over of our host and presents distorted content….we are actively addressing this matter with the cyber crime cell. We strongly condemn such misinformation, urge our audience to be vigilant, and refrain from sharing unverified content.” Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan was also targeted in a morphed video by a Congress supporter sporting a blue-tick mark on X. In the fake video, Aaryan was shown endorsing the Congress party in MP elections. The original video featured Kartik in a promotional campaign for a Disney Hotstar ad. This was morphed into a Congress election campaign ad. Kartik Aaryan had to clarify on Twitter saying, “This is the REAL AD @DisneyPlusHS Rest all is Fake.” The morphed video featured the Congress ‘hand’ election symbol. The fake and ‘deep fake’ video problem has now become serious. Artificial Intelligence tools have multiplied the risks. Even the popularity of a mega star like Amitabh Bachchan was misused through fake video to defame chief minister Chouhan. The credibility of a big show like KBC was misused. This is a dangerous trend. By the time, the complaints reached the Election Commission, and FIR was lodged, much damage had been done. These are only a few examples. Most of us get fake and morphed videos on our cell phones, almost on a daily basis. Most of the people do not take them seriously. But those who take these videos seriously have no tools to test their credibility. Personally, I get five to six videos daily by people asking whether they are fake or genuine. India TV has a team which verifies such videos, but the internet is an ocean with its net spread far and wide. It is next to impossible to verify all videos. Secondly, till two or three years ago, it took two or three days to make a fake video, because it requires very hi-definition footage. Now, a software is available which can prepare a fake video in four to five hours. It has now become easier to superimpose a fake voice ly match lip sync. Fake video can damage a person’s image in a matter of few hours. It can incite violence and tension in community. We should understand the danger involved. There is one more disadvantage. If a leader is caught taking bribe or violating laws in a genuine video, he or she can easily claim that the video is fake and can challenge people to conduct a forensic test. It takes months for the forensic report to arrive. Even if the report comes, questions are raised. Therefore, one has to understand the risks involved. Creating awareness among people with the help of cyber experts is essential. We should all be vigilant, and refrain from forwarding doubtful videos without verifying them. As Prime Minister Modi said, putting ‘AI-powered content’ as a mark on such deep fake videos should be the first step. As information technology makes advances, we should become more alert. The responsibility of media is greater. We should keep people informed. Instead of giving credibility to AI and ChatGPT, we should point out such videos as fake. It is our collective responsibility not to allow misuse of technology. We must ensure that the image of any person is not tarnished by use of morphed or ‘deep fake’ videos. I would also like to caution viewers. I have got complaints that some people are selling medicines using my picture, some are promising employment in media using my images, somebody even sent fake phone messages in my name. My office has sent complaints to the police in all such matters. I will ask all of you to remain alert and vigilant. Do not trust fake ads. Inform India TV, if required, whenever you see such fake ads. Verify all such videos and ads. Trust only those messages, posts and videos that are posted on my handle or or India TV’s official handle. They are verified and you can trust them.
सचिन पायलट : क्या कांग्रेस उन्हें सीएम बनाएगी?
राजस्थान में इस वक्त कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के बीच कांटे की चुनावी टक्कर है। दोनों पार्टियों के नेता फ्रंट फुट पर खेल रहे हैं। बीजेपी ने गुरुवार को अपना संकल्प पत्र जारी किया, तमाम बड़े वादे किए। बड़े-बड़े नेताओं की फौज मैदान में उतार दी। जे पी नड्डा, नितिन गडकरी, योगी आदित्यनाथ, स्मृति ईरानी जैसे तमाम नेताओं ने चुनावी रैलियां की। कांग्रेस की तरफ से राहुल गांधी ने मोर्चा संभाला। अशोक गहलोत और सचिन पायलट भी साथ थे। जयपुर में इंडिया टीवी के चुनाव मंच में कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के बड़े नेता पहुंचे। सचिन पायलट ने पहली बार खुलकर अपने दिल की बात कही। साफ साफ कह दिया कि उनके साथ जो व्यवहार हआ, उसे वो जिंदगी भर नहीं भूलेंगे, लेकिन उनकी मजबूरी है। कोई विकल्प नहीं है, इसलिए साथ-साथ चल रहे हैं। बीजेपी ने अपने संकल्प पत्र में जो सबसे बड़ा वादा किया, वह है गरीब परिवारों को 450 रुपए में गैस सिलेंडर देने का। बीजेपी ने महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के लिए हर जिले में महिला थाना खोलने, एंटी रोमियो स्क्वॉड बनाने, ‘लाडो प्रोत्साहन योजना’ में बेटी का जन्म होने पर 2 लाख रुपए का सेविंग बांड देने,मातृत्व वंदना योजना में महिलाओं को 8 हजार रुपए देने जैसे तमाम वादे किए हैं। बीजेपी ने वादा किया है कि अगर राजस्थान में सरकार बनती है तो पांच साल में कम से कम ढ़ाई लाख नौजवानों को सरकारी नौकरी दी जाएगी। बीजेपी का मैनीफेस्टो जारी करते हुए पार्टी अध्यक्ष जे. पी. नड्डा ने कहा कि कांग्रेस राज में हुए सारे घोटालों की जांच कराई जाएगी, जनता का पैसा लूटने वालों को सजा दी जाएगी। कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने संकल्प पत्र को झूठ का पुलिंदा, जनता के साथ ठगी का दस्तावेज बताया। गहलोत के मंत्री प्रताप सिंह खाचरियावास ने कहा कि बीजेपी अगर वाकई में सिलेंडर सस्ता करना चाहती है तो उसे संकल्प पत्र में वादा करने की जरूरत नहीं है। केन्द्र सरकार तुंरत आदेश जारी करे, पूरे देश में सिलेंडर सस्ता हो जाएगा।
मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ की तरह राजस्थान के बीजेपी खेमे में भी नरेन्द्र मोदी के बाद सबसे ज्यादा मांग योगी आदित्यनाथ की है। बीजेपी के ज्यादातर उम्मीदवार चाहते हैं कि योगी उनके इलाके में कम से कम एक बार आएं। गुरुवार को योगी ने कोटा, अजमेर और बूंदी जिलों में पांच रैलियां की, गहलोत सरकार में भ्रष्टाचार का मुद्दा उठाया, महिलाओं के साथ होने वाले अपराध की बात की, कांग्रेस पर हिंदुओं की आस्था से खिलवाड़ और तुष्टिकरण का इल्जाम लगाया। बूंदी की रैली में योगी ने कन्हैया लाल की हत्या का जिक्र किया। कहा, बेगुनाह कन्हैया लाल का सरेआम गला काट दिया गया लेकिन तुष्टीकरण को अपना मजहब मानने वाली कांग्रेस हत्यारों को सजा दिलाना तो दूर, कन्हैया के परिवार को मुआवजा देने में भी पीछे रह गई। योगी ने कहा कि अगर राजस्थान में कांग्रेस की तुष्टिकरण की नीति न होती तो कन्हैयालाल की हत्या न हुई होती। अजमेर में योगी ने यूपी के बुलडोजर की याद दिलाई। कहा कि आज राजस्थान में माफिया बेखौफ हैं, कभी यूपी में भी गुंडे माफिया सीना चौड़ा करके घूमते थे लेकिन अब यूपी में बाबा का बुलडोजर घूम रहा है और गुंडे माफिया या तो ऊपर चले गए या फिर जेल में हैं। बुलडोज़र ने माफियाओं की गर्मी शांत कर दी है। योगी ने कहा कि राजस्थान को भी बुलडोजर की जरूरत है। कोटा में योगी ने हिन्दू शोभायात्राओं पर पथराव की घटनाओं का जिक्र किया। योगी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने हमेशा हिंदुओं की भावनाओं के साथ खिलवाड़ किया, आस्था का मज़ाक बनाया, बीजेपी के लोग जब राम मंदिर की बात करते थे तो कांग्रेस के नेता हंसते थे, लेकिन आज कांग्रेस को जवाब मिल गया है। अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर बनकर तैयार होने वाला है और वो कोटा के लोगों को अयोध्या आने का न्योता देने आए हैं।
जे पी नड्डा ने सीधे नाम लेकर अशोक गहलोत पर सवाल उठाए। कहा कि राजस्थान सरकार में मुख्यमंत्री की नाक के नीचे भ्रष्टाचार हुआ, जनता के पैसों की लूट हुई, सचिवालय में एक किलो सोना मिला, करोड़ों रुपए कैश मिले। केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने जयपुर में दो रैलियां कीं। गडकरी ने बीजेपी और कांग्रेस में बुनियादी फर्क बताया, कहा कि वो बीजेपी में पोस्टर चिपकाते थे और बाद में पार्टी अध्यक्ष बने, अभी मंत्री हैं। लेकिन कांग्रेस में पार्टी अध्यक्ष बनने के लिए एक परिवार में पैदा होना जरूरी है। गडकरी ने मोदी सरकार के काम गिनाए, कहा, हाइवे, एक्सप्रेस-वे का जाल बिछा है, जल्दी ही जयपुर और दिल्ली के बीच ऐसा एक्सप्रेसवे बना देंगे कि जयपुर के लोग आइसक्रीम खाने दिल्ली जा सकेंगे। चूंकि गडकरी ने कांग्रेस को मां-बेटे की पार्टी कहा, इसलिए अशोक गहलोत ने उसका जवाब दिया। गहलोत ने कहा कि बीजेपी के पास कहने के लिए कुछ नहीं है, इसलिए वो गांधी परिवार को निशाना बनाती है, जबकि गांधी परिवार को सत्ता का कोई लालच नहीं है, पिछले 30 साल में इस परिवार से कोई भी प्रधानमंत्री नहीं बना। गहलोत ने गांधी नेहरू परिवार का बचाव किया तो रैलियों में कांग्रेस की तरफ से मोर्चा खुद राहुल गांधी ने संभाला।
राहुल ने गुरुवार को चुरू, हनुमानगढ़ और श्रीगंगानगर में रैलियां की। राहुल ने राजस्थान की सियासत की ज्यादा बात नहीं की। उन्होंने अडानी, नोटबंदी, कोरोना की बात की। कहा कि जब लोग मर रहे थे तब मोदी थाली और ताली बजवा रहे थे, लेकिन गहलोत सरकार लोगों को बचाने में जुटी हुई थी। हनुमानगढ़ की रैली में राहुल ने कहा कि मोदी ने 2014 में हर साल दो करोड़ लोगों को रोजगार देने का वादा किया था, अब तक कुल दो लाख लोगों को भी रोजगार नहीं मिला। राहुल गांधी को जवाब दिया स्मृति ईरानी ने। ईरानी ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी को कोई गंभीरता से नहीं लेता, जब राहुल बीस साल में अमेठी का विकास नहीं कर पाए तो राजस्थान की जनता ऐसे नेता की बातों पर कैसे भरोसा करेगी? ईरानी ने प्रियंका गांधी पर भी तंज़ कसा। कहा, ‘लड़की हूं, लड़ सकती हूं’ का नारा देने वाले राजस्थान क्यों नहीं आते? उन्हें राजस्थान में महिलाओं पर हो रहे अत्याचार क्यों नहीं दिखते? राजस्थान में कांग्रेस के सामने बड़ी चुनौती है – नेताओं के आपसी झगड़े और बागियों के तेवर। गुरुवार को राहुल गांधी का स्वागत करने और उनकी रैलियों में हिस्सा लेने अशोक गहलोत और सचिन पायलट दोनों मौजूद थे। राहुल ने कहा, पार्टी में सब ठीक है, सब साथ-साथ हैं, कांग्रेस मिलकर चुनाव लड़ रही है और जीतेगी।
इंडिया टीवी के चुनाव मंच में कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने कहा कि वो अध्यक्ष के तौर पर खुद फैसले लेते हैं, उन्हें गांधी परिवार रिमोट से नहीं चलाता है, अलबत्ता वो सोनिया गांधी और राहुल गांधी से सलाह ज़रूर लेते हैं, पूर्व कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष के नाते उनके तजुर्बों का फायदा उन्हें मिलता है, लेकिन उन पर फैसले थोपे नहीं जाते। खरगे ने कहा कि उन्हें जो रिमोट कंट्रोल्ड अध्यक्ष कहते हैं वो अपने गिरेबां में झांककर देखें, सच तो ये है कि जेपी नड्डा का रिमोट मोदी के हाथ में है और पार्टी के सारे फैसले मोदी ही लेते हैं। चुनाव मंच में सचिन पायलट भी आए। पायलट ने बड़ी साफगोई से अपने दिल की बात कही। पहली बार साफ साफ कहा कि उनके साथ जो हुआ, उसकी टीस उनके दिल में है और पूरी जिंदगी रहेगी। पायलट ने कहा कि उनका किसी से निजी झगड़ा नहीं है, सिर्फ सिद्धांतों की लड़ाई थी, कुछ मुद्दों को लेकर असहमति थी लेकिन कुछ महीने पहले राहुल गांधी और मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने उनसे कहा कि जो हुआ, उसे भूल जाना चाहिए, आगे बढ़ना चाहिए और उन्होंने पार्टी नेतृत्व की बात मान ली लेकिन पायलट ने ये भी कहा कि अशोक गहलोत ने उन्हें लेकर जो कुछ कहा, जो बातें उनके मुंह से निकल गई, वो वापस नहीं हो सकतीं।
पायलट की ये बात सही है कि उन्होंने शब्दों की मर्यादा कभी नहीं तोड़ी, हमेशा अपनी बात मजबूती से उठाई। उन्होंने पेपर लीक का मसला उठाया, आंदोलन किया, अपनी ही सरकार के खिलाफ यात्रा निकाली, इसके कारण गहलोत को बैकफुट पर आना पड़ा, लेकिन गहलोत ने एक चतुराई की। पायलट पर ये इल्जाम चिपका दिया कि वो मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी के चक्कर में ये सब कर रहे हैं। राहुल गांधी को भी यही बात समझा दी। हकीकत ये थी कि पिछले चुनाव में कांग्रेस की जीत के पीछे पायलट की पांच साल की मेहनत थी। प्रियंका गांधी ने उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनाने का वादा किया था लेकिन जीत के बाद राहुल ने गहलोत को कुर्सी सौंप दी। फिर पायलट से कुछ दिन इंजतार करने को कहा गया, लेकिन वो वादा भी पूरा नहीं हुआ। इसलिए पायलट नाराज तो थे, वो पार्टी छोड़ सकते थे, लेकिन इस बार राहुल गांधी और खरगे ने उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनाने का वादा किया है, इसलिए पायलट कड़वा घूंट पीकर रह गए हैं। नोट करने वाली बात ये है कि पायलट अभी तक वो बातें भूले नहीं हैं और खुलकर ये बात कह भी रहे हैं। हालांकि पायलट चुनाव में पूरी ईमानदारी से खूब मेहनत कर रहे हैं। उन्हें उम्मीद है कि मेहनत का फल उन्हें मिलेगा। पार्टी उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री बनाएगी।
SACHIN PILOT : WILL CONGRESS MAKE HIM CM?
Rajasthan is witnessing a close contest between Congress and BJP, with leaders from both camps involved in aggressive campaigning. On Thursday, BJP president J P Nadda released the party manifesto promising to make LPG cylinders available to poor families at Rs 450 each, appointment for 2.5 lakh government jobs in the next five years, annual assistance of Rs 12,000 to farmers , savings bond of Rs 2 lakhs each for girl children who mature at the age of 21, opening of Mahila police station in every district, setting up of anti-Romeo squads and Rs 40,000 crore investment in health infrastructure through appointments of 15,000 docs and 20,000 paramedics. Both the camps have fielded their top guns for their poll campaign. Narendra Modi, J P Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Yogi Adityanath, Vasundhara Rae and Smriti Irani from BJP, and Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot from Congress are involved in campaign. BJP has promised to initiate probe into paper leaks and other scams during Chief Minister Gehlot’s rule. Congress leaders described BJP manifesto as “a bundle of ‘jumlas’ “ (false promises). UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath addressed five rallies in three districts, Kota, Ajmer and Boondi on Thursday. He raised issues relating to corruption, crimes against women and daylight murder of tailor Kanhaiyalal by Islamic jehadis. Yogi blamed Congress party’s “appeasement policy” as responsible for Kanhaiya’s death. In Kota, Yogi invited people to come to Ayodhya to offer prayers at the grand Ram Temple. Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari addressed two rallies in Jaipur and said, there is a basic difference between Congress and BJP. “In BJP, I used to paste posters on walls and became the party chief and also minister, but in the Congress, one has to be born in a particular family to become the party chief”, Gadkari said. He described Congress as a “mother and son party”. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot retorted by saying that when BJP leaders have nothing to say, they target Gandhi family. Gehlot told voters that “not a single member from Gandhi family became the PM in the last three years. They do not yearn for power”. Rahul Gandhi addressed three rallies in Churu, Hanumangarh and Sriganganagar and spoke about Adani, demonetization and Covid deaths. “When thousands were dying of Covid, Modi was asking people to beat thalis and taalis”, Rahul Said. In Hanumangarh, Rahul Gandhi said, Modi had promised in 2014 to give 2 crore jobs every year, but in the last nine years, hardly two lakhs people have got jobs. BJP leader Smriti Irani said, “nobody, not even the people of Amethi, take Rahul Gandhi seriously. He could not develop Amethi in 20 years, how can the people of Rajasthan trust him?” In a jibe at Priyanka Gandhi, Smriti Irani said, “Where is the leader who used to say “ladki hoon, lad sakti hoon” in UP? Can’t she see the atrocities being committed on women in Rajasthan?” The Congress in Rajasthan is facing twin challenges – on one hand, leaders are at logger heads, and on the other hand, dissidents are in the fray. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, the main contenders for power in Rajasthan, were present with Rahul Gandhi in his rallies on Thursday. Rahul told media that “all is well in the party, the party is united, and we will win the elections”. At the ‘Chunav Manch’ conclave organized by India TV in Jaipur, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge denied the charge that he was being “remote controlled” by Gandhi family. Kharge said, “I take all decisions myself as party president. Of course, I take advice from Sonia Ji and Rahul Gandhi because I get the benefit of advice from a former party president. ..But decisions are never thrust upon me. ..Those who say I am a remote-controlled President, must look at their own party. J P Nadda’s remote is being controlled by Narendra Modi. It is Modi who takes all major party decisions.” At the ‘Chunav Manch’, Congress leader Sachin Pilot disclosed that Kharge and Rahul Gandhi advised him 6 to 8 months ago “to forgive and forget, and move on, in the interest of party unity”. Asked about the words ‘nikamma’ (lazy), ‘naakaraa’ (useless) used against him by Ashok Gehlot, Pilot said, “words which come from the mouth cannot be taken back, but I am always a stickler for decency in political discourse.” Sachin Pilot is right. He never broke the limits of decency while attacking his rivals. But he put forth his demands forcefully. After the paper leak incidents, he took out a yatra against his own party’s government. Gehlot was on the backfoot, but the wily chief minister played a political spin. It was alleged that Pilot is protesting because he wants the CM’s chair. Gehlot conveyed this to Rahul Gandhi. The fact is that Congress came to power five years ago because of continuous efforts put in by Sachin Pilot. Priyanka Gandhi had promised him to make him the CM, but after the party won the elections, Rahul Gandhi handed over the CM post to Ashok Gehlot. Pilot was asked to wait for some time, but the promise was never fulfilled. Pilot was unhappy. He was on the verge of leaving the party. This time, both Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge have promised him the CM’s post. Sachin Pilot has now put a lid on his anger. One point to note is that Pilot has not forgotten the incidents that took place since the 2020 rebellion. He is openly admitting it. He is trying his level best to ensure his party’s victory. VIRAT : THE NEW GOD OF CRICKET
It was a shower of records at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium on Wednesday during the first World Cup semifinal. Team India crushed New Zealand to enter the final. The foundation for the win was laid by Virat Kohli (117), Rohit Sharma(47), Shubman Gill (80 not out), Shreyas Iyer(105) and K L Rahul (39 not out). Bowler Mohammed Shami’s magical figure of 7/57 in 9.5 overs did the rest. It was India’s tenth consecutive win in the ODI World Cup. Kohli is now the world’s only batter to have scored 50 centuries in ODI cricket. He broke batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s world record of 49 ODI tons. Kohli also became the highest scorer in a World Cup. He has made 711 runs in 10 matches till now. Earlier, the record was in Sachin’s name, when he had made 673 runs in the World Cup. Virat Kohli also broke another Tendulkar record by making the highest number of half centuries in World Cup. Virat made eight half-centuries, while Sachin made seven. Kohli broke another record of hitting the largest number of boundaries in World Cup. Till now, Kohli has hit 64 boundaries in this World Cup. Team India also set a new record. It scored the highest number of runs in World Cup knockout matches. I have already said in the beginning that it was a shower of records at Wankhede stadium. Almost the entire stadium rose in standing ovation when Virat Kohli completed his 50th ODI century. Sachin Tendulkar was sitting in the stands. He congratulated Kohli with this tweet: “The first time I met you in the Indian dressing room, you were pranked by other teammates into touching my feet. I couldn’t stop laughing that day. But soon, you touched my heart with your passion and skill. I am so happy that that young boy has grown into a ‘Virat’ player. I couldn’t be happier that an Indian broke my record. And to do it on the biggest stage – in the World Cup semi-final – and at my home ground is the icing on the cake.” Life partner Anushka Sharma congratulated Virat on social media (Instagram): “God is the best scriptwriter! Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer gave good partnership to Kohli on the ground. Shreyas completed his ton off only 69 balls. This was the fastest century in a World Cup knockout match. K L Rahul hit 39 runs off 20 balls to take Team India’s score to 397. Let me point out, cricketers who played with Sachin Tendulkar never dreamed that any other player could break his world record. I was present at a function to celebrate Sachin’s 100 hundred. At that event, Sachin had predicted that one day Virat would break his 100 hundred record. मध्य प्रदेश में मोदी, कमल नाथ, शिवराज : वार और पलटवार
छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश में चुनाव का हाई वोल्टेज प्रचार खत्म हो गया है. नरेंद्र मोदी ने राहुल गांधी को ‘मूर्खों का सरदार’ बताया, मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने मोदी को ‘झूठों का सरदार’ कहकर माहौल को और गरमाया. मोदी ने गिनाया कि पिछले 9 साल में जो कांग्रेस उन्हें पांच गालियां देती थी, अब पचास देती है. राहुल गांधी ने दावा किया कि मध्य प्रदेश में कांग्रेस का तूफान आया हुआ है. मोदी ने कहा, यहां पहले भी बीजेपी थी, और आगे भी बीजेपी ही रहेगी. मोदी ने नाम लिए बगैर राहुल को ‘मूर्खों का सरदार’ क्यों कहा? बैतूल की रैली में मोदी ने कहा – “मैंने सुना, कल एक महाज्ञानी कांग्रेस के कह रहे थे कि भारत में लोगों के पास मेड इन चाइना मोबाइल फोन हैं. अरे, मूर्खों के सरदार, किस दुनिया में रहते हैं ये लोग? कांग्रेस के नेताओं को अपने देश की उपलब्धियां न देखने की मानसिक बीमारी हो गई है. पता नहीं विदेश के वो कौन से चश्मे पहने हैं कि उन्हें पता नहीं होता? आज भारत दुनिया में मोबाइल फोन का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा निर्माता है. जब कांग्रेस सरकार थी, तब भारत में हर साल 20 हजार करोड़ रुपए से भी कम के मोबाइल फोन बना करते थे, आज भारत में साढे 3 लाख करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा के मोबाइन फोन बन रहे हैं. करीब एक लाख करोड़ रुपए का मोबाइल फोन भारत दूसरे देशों को एक्सपोर्ट करता है. चुनाव के समय जिन्हें मेक इन इंडिया की याद आती हो, वो स्वदेशी का महत्व कभी समझ नहीं सकते… आज भारत मोबाइल मैन्युफैचरिंग के मामले में दुनिया में दूसरे नंबर पर है.” मोदी ने राहुल को ‘मेड इन चाइना’ वाले बयान पर तो खरी-खरी सुनाई. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस का एक ही एजेंडा है लूट और भ्रष्टाचार, लेकिन अब कांग्रेस के नेता डरने लगे हैं क्योंकि जांच एजेंसियां अब कांग्रेस के भ्रष्टाचार के लॉकर खोल रहे हैं, और इन लॉकर्स से आलू वाला सोना नहीं, बल्कि असली सोना निकल रहा है. भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर मोदी ने कांग्रेस पर जमकर वार किया. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस का पंजा लूटना और छीनना ही जानता है. अब ये बात जनता भी समझ गई है, इसलिए कांग्रेस नेताओं के भी समझ में आने लगा कि चुनाव में हार तय है. अब कांग्रेस के नेता साधु-महात्माओं के पास जा रहे हैं जिससे कुछ चमत्कार हो जाए. मोदी ने मंगलवार को तीन रैलियां की, बैतूल, शाजापुर और झाबुआ में. खास बात ये है कि तीनों इलाकों में आदिवासी वोटर्स की संख्या अच्छी-खासी है. मोदी ने मध्यप्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और राजस्थान के आदिवासियों को भी संदेश दिया. कहा, कि पचास साल तक कांग्रेस की सरकार रही, कांग्रेस ने आदिवासियों के लिए कुछ नहीं किया. मोदी ने बताया कि कैसे वह अपने जीवन के कई साल आदिवासी इलाकों में घूमते रहे, वो जानते हैं कि आदिवासियों को किन मुश्किलात का सामना करना पड़ता है. अगर नरेंद्र मोदी के भाषण को देखें तो उनका फोकस दो बातों पर था, एक तो कांग्रेस के भ्रष्टाचार पर और दूसरा आदिवासी समाज के लिए किए गए कामों पर. दोनों ही मामलों में मोदी का पर्सनल रिकॉर्ड अच्छा है. उन पर कभी भ्रष्टातार का आरोप नहीं लगा. उनके विरोधी भी मानते हैं कि मोदी ने भ्रष्टाचार पर काफी हद तक रोक लगाई. आदिवासियों को लेकर भी मोदी ने काफी कुछ किया है. उन्होंने आदिवासी समाज के लोगों को सर्वोच्च पदों पर पहुंचाया. बुधवार को मोदी ने आदिवासियों के लिए 24 हज़ार करोड़ रु. की परियोजना की शुरुआत की. मंगलवार की शाम वह रांची पहुंचे और रोडशो किया. वह आदिवासियों के भगवान माने जाने वाले शहीद बिरसा मुंडा के गांव उलिहातु गए. आजादी के बाद पहली बार कोई प्रधानमंत्री बिरसा मुंडा के गांव पहुंचा. इससे पूरे देश भर के आदिवासियों के बीच सकारात्मक संदेश गया है. नोट करने वाली बात ये है कि जिन राज्यों में चुनाव है, उनमें मध्य प्रदेश में 47 सीटें आदिवासियों के लिए आरक्षित है. छत्तीसगढ में 29 और राजस्थान में 28 आदिवासी सीटें हैं. ये वो सीटे हैं जहां कांग्रेस का भी अच्छा खासा प्रभाव है. मोदी का ये आदिवासी कार्ड बीजेपी के लिए फायदेमंद साबित हो सकता है.
खर्गे और राहुल
मध्य प्रदेश में चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान मोदी कांग्रेस के नेताओं का भाषण सुन रहे थे तो कांग्रेस के नेता भी मोदी का भाषण सुनकर उस हिसाब से अपनी स्पीच तैयार रहे थे. मंगलवार को कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खर्गे और राहुल गांधी दोनों ही मध्यप्रदेश में थे. मोदी ने राहुल को मूर्खों का सरदार कहा तो खरगे ने मोदी को झूठों का सरदार कह दिया. खर्गे ने मध्य प्रदेश की रैली में कहा कि “मोदी ने हर साल 2 करोड़ नौकरियां देने और किसानों की आय दुगुनी करने का वादा किया था. क्या ये वादे पूरे हुए? वह झूठों के सरदार हैं.” राहुल गांधी ने अपनी रैली में दावा किया कि मध्यप्रदेश में कांग्रेस का तूफान चल रहा है और कांग्रेस को 145 से 150 सीटें मिलने जा रही हैं.
मध्यप्रदेश को लेकर कांग्रेस काफी उत्साहित है. कमलनाथ ने पूरा कैंपेन अपने हिसाब से चलाया. पूरे प्रदेश में जीत का माहौल बनाया. कमलनाथ की शुरु से कोशिश रही कि मध्यप्रदेश का चुनाव स्थानीय मुद्दों पर लड़ा जाए. वो चाहते हैं कि शिवराज के खिलाफ एंटी इनकम्बैंसी पर फोकस किया जाए लेकिन राहुल गांधी और मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे जैसे नेताओं के भाषणों से कमलनाथ का ये प्लान गड़बड़ हो गया. लेकिन करें तो क्या करें? वो न तो राहुल और खरगे को मध्य प्रदेश आने से रोक सकते हैं और न ही उनसे ये कह सकते हैं कि राष्ट्रीय मुद्दे मत उठाओ. रही सही कसर नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपनी रैलियों से कर दी. पूरा फोकस राष्ट्रीय मुद्दों की तरफ शिफ्ट कर दिया. सारा माहौल बदल गया. हालांकि कमलनाथ ने कोशिश नहीं छो़ड़ी है. उन्होंने ऐसे किसी मुद्दे पर रिएक्ट नहीं किया.

कमलनाथ तो भगवान राम और बजरंगबली के सहारे चुनाव जीतने की कोशिश में लगे हैं पर इस खेल को बिगाड़ने के लिए मध्य प्रदेश में योगी आदित्यनाथ की एंट्री हो गई है. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने अयोध्या में बनने वाले भगवान राम के मंदिर की बात की जिसका कांग्रेस के पास कोई जवाब नहीं है. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने मध्य प्रदेश के रीवा, भिंड और छतरपुर में रैलियां कीं. उन्होंने कहा कि अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर बन रहा है, कांग्रेस के राज में हिन्दुओं का ये सपना कभी पूरा नहीं हो सकता था. हमने न केवल ढांचे को गिराया बल्कि उस स्थान पर भव्य राम मंदिर बनाया. योगी ने वोटरों से कहा कि वे बीजेपी को जिताएं ताकि नये विधायक उन्हें राम लला का दर्शन कराने ले जा सकें. बीजेपी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने नरसिंहपुर और रायसेन में रैलियां की और कहा कि कांग्रेस ने भेष बदल लिया है, अब उनका हिन्दू प्रेम जाग गया है, कांग्रेस के लोग जनेऊ दिखा रहे हैं, लोगों को ये नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि कांग्रेस सरकार ने भगवान राम को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हलफनामा भेज कर काल्पनिक बताया था लेकिन अब कांग्रेस के नेता, राम भक्त होने का नाटक कर रहे हैं. असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता बिस्व सरमा ने तो गांधी परिवार पर सीधा हमला कर दिया. छत्तीसगढ़ की एक जनसभा में हिमंता ने कहा कि गांधी परिवार कभी रामलला के दर्शन करने के लिए नहीं जाता है क्योंकि उन्हें डर है कि इससे मुस्लिम नाराज हो जाएंगे. योगी आदित्यनाथ, जेपी नड्डा और हिमंता विस्वा शर्मा तीनों ने राम मंदिर की बात की और लोगों को याद दिलाया कि मोदी ने वो काम किया जिसका हिंदू समाज को साढ़े 500 साल से इंतजार था.
शिवराज, कमल नाथ और महिला वोटर
गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने रीवा और जबलपुर में रैली की, रोड शो किया. रीवा की रैली में अमित शाह ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने मध्य प्रदेश को बीमारू राज्य बना दिया था, लेकिन शिवराज सिंह चौहान की सरकार ने मध्य प्रदेश को बीमारू से बेमिसाल राज्य बना दिया. शाह ने कहा कि इस बार अगर बीजेपी जीती तो मध्य प्रदेश को सर्वोत्तम राज्य बना दिया जाएगा. लेकिन कमलनाथ ने मुरैना की रैली में इसका जवाब दिया. कमलनाथ ने कहा कि शिवराज सरकार ने मध्य प्रदेश का बेड़ा गर्क कर दिया. बीजेपी के लोग विकास की बातें करते हैं, लेकिन बीजेपी ने मध्य प्रदेश को “चौपट प्रदेश” बना दिया है. उधर शिवराज सिंह चौहान 125 रैलियां करने की मुहिम पर हैं. हर जगह वह लाड़ली बहना योजना का जिक्र करते हैं. बुधवार को भाई दूज के मौके पर चौहान ने वादा किया कि जो महिलाएं इस योजना से छूट गईं, उन्हें चुनाव के बाद शामिल कर लिया जाएगा, और हर महिला को इस योजना के ज़रिए लखपति बनाया जाएगा. शिवराज सिंह का फोकस साफ है. वो लाड़ली बहना योजना, लाड़ली लक्ष्मी योजना की बात करते हैं, चुनाव जीतने के बाद उसकी राशि बढ़ाने का वादा करते हैं. खुद को मामा और भाई कहकर वोट मांगने जाते हैं. असल में मध्य प्रदेश में पांच करोड़ साठ लाख वोटर्स हैं जिनमें महिला मतदाताओं की संख्या दो करोड़ 72 लाख है यानि लगभग आधी मतादाताएं महिलाएं हैं. शिवराज सिंह जानते हैं कि अगर महिला वोट का बड़ा हिस्सा उनके खाते मे आया तो जीत की राह आसान हो जाएगी.
MP POLLS: HOW MODI, SHIVRAJ, KAMAL NATH CAMPAIGNED
As the curtains fell on high-voltage electioneering in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, a war of words broke out between the top leaders of the main rivals, BJP and Congress. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a no-holds-barred attack, without naming Rahul Gandhi, described him as ‘moorkhon ka sardaar’ (leader of fools) over the latter’s ‘Made in China’ cellphone remark. In reply, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge described Modi as ‘jhoothon ka sardaar’ (leader of liars). Modi addressed three rallies in tribal-dominated Betul, Shajapur and Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh. He alleged that Congress leaders who used to hurl five abuses at him in the last nine years, are now hurling 50 abuses a day. Modi particularly objected to Rahul Gandhi’s remark that ‘Made in China’ cell phones are being sold in India, and if Congress comes to power, ‘Made in Madhya Pradesh’ cell phones will be manufactured. The Prime Minister said, “A mahagyani (wise man) of Congress said yesterday that Indians have only cell phones marked ‘Made in China’. In which world does the ‘murkhon ka sardaar’ lives? What specs are they wearing that they cannot see that India now exports cell phones worth Rs 1 lakh crore every year? Doesn’t they know India is now the world’s second largest mobile phone manufacturer?” Modi alleged that Congress leaders hate him because his government has stopped corruption that was rampant during Congress rule. He added, “Congress leaders are now fearing that if their lockers are opened, agencies will be find gold instead of potato”, in an apparent jibe at Rahul’s old remark about how farmers can earn gold by raising potato crops and then processing them as potato chips. Modi’s attack was sharp on Tuesday. He said, ‘even Congress leaders have now realized that they are going to lose elections and are now visiting sadhus and babas in search of magic’. Modi’s speeches clearly indicate that he is focussing on two issues: One, corruption during Congress rule, and two, work done by his government for upliftment of tribals. On both issues, Modi’s personal record has been clean. There has not been a single charge of corruption against him. Even his rivals admit that Modi has put a stop to corruption to a large extent, and he has given top positions to tribals. On Wednesday, Modi went to Jharkhand to launch Rs 24,000 crore plan for upliftment of tribals. He went on a late night road show after reaching Ranchi. Modi also visited the village of Shaheed Birsa Munda. It was the first time since Independence, that a Prime Minister visited Birsa Munda’s village. Modi’s Adivasi card can yield dividends in Chhattisgarh and MP.
KHARGE AND RAHUL
In a rejoinder to Prime Minister Modi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, while addressing a rally in Sewda, MP, asked voters whether Modi had fulfilled his promise of giving 2 crore jobs a year and doubling farmers’ income. Kharge described Modi as ‘jhoothon ka sardar’ (leader of liars). In Vidisha, addressing a rally, Rahul Gandhi predicted that Congress is going to win 145 to 150 seats in MP. He claimed that “ a storm is going on in MP in favour of Congress”. The Congress camp is very much enthusiastic about its prospects in MP. State party chief Kamal Nath ran the campaign in a focussed manner and created an atmosphere in favour of Congress. Since the beginning of election process, Kamal Nath’s focus was on local issues and gaining voters’ sympathy because of anti-incumbency factor. But leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Kharge have derailed Kamal Nath’s plan. The state party chief is helpless. He cannot stop Rahul or Kharge from addressing rallies, nor can he ask them not to raise national issues here. Modi’s rallies and roadshows have piled up the pressure. Modi managed to shift the entire focus of MP voters to national issues and has brought a change in electoral atmosphere.
YOGI, HIMANTA AND RAM TEMPLE
Kamal Nath has not lost hopes. He has not reacted on any of such issues. He is trying to win the elections with the blessings of Lord Ram and Bajrangbali Hanuman. But, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath is spoiling his prospects by telling voters about the new Ram temple that is going to be inaugurated in Ayodhya on January 22. Congress leaders have no answer to Yogi, who addressed rallies in Rewa, Bhind and Chhatarpur on Tuesday. Yogi told voters that “the dream of Hindus of seeing a Ram temple in Ayodhya would never have been fulfilled if Congress had remained in power. We fulfilled our promise to remove the structure (Babri mosque) and build a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.” Yogi asked voters to support BJP so that the new MLAs could take them for darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. “Don’t waste your votes for Congress. Do not carry their burden on your head”, Yogi told the crowd. BJP chief J P Nadda rubbed it in, at his rallies in Ratlam, Narsinghpur and Raisen. Nadda said, “Congress leaders are trying to project themselves as devout Hindus, they are showing off their janeu (religious thread), but people should not forget that it was the Congress government which had described Lord Ram as mythical figure in its affidavit in Supreme Court.” The acerbic chief minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, was more forthright. Sarma told a rally in Chhattisgarh that Gandhi family members are yet to visit Ayodhya to pay respects to Ram Lalla. “Why are they afraid? Are they afraid because Muslims will become angry?”, he asked. Yogi, Nadda and Himanta raised the Ram temple issue and told voters that Narendra Modi has accomplished what the Hindus had been waiting for 550 years, that is, a grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
SHIVRAJ AND WOMEN VOTERS
Home Minister Amit Shah praised MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s 18 years’ rule at his rally in Rewa. Shah said, earlier MP was a ‘Bimaru’ (sick) state, but it goes to Chouhan’s credit that he made MP a ‘bemisaal’ (unparalleled) state. “When Congress was in power, MP government’s annual budget used to be only Rs 23,000 crore, but now it is Rs 3,14,000 crore. If you bless us again, we will make MP the best state in India”, Shah said. Retorting, Congress leader Kamal Nath told a rally in Morena that “Chouhan has converted a progressive state like MP into a ‘chaupat pradesh’ (hopeless state). There is inflation and widespread unemployment. This election is for the future of the state”. On the other hand, the longest serving BJP chief minister of MP, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is doing a marathon 125 election rallies, promised on Bhai Dooj festival on Wednesday that if re-elected, his government would add names of all women left out from Ladli Behna scheme, and he would make every “sister” (behna) a ‘lakhpati’ (earning Rs 1 lakh). Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s focus is clear: as ‘Mama’ (maternal uncle), he wants to help women, and is playing the ‘women card’ to the hilt. Out of 5.60 crore voters in MP, women voters account for 2.72 crore, almost half. Shivraj Singh Chouhan knows that if women come out in large numbers and vote, his path to power can become easier.
दिल्ली वायु प्रदूषण : पार्टियां आरोप-प्रत्यारोप लगाना बंद करें
दिवाली के बाद दिल्ली की हवा एक बार फिर बेहद ख़राब कैटेगरी में पहुंच गई. केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के मुताबिक़, आनंद विहार का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स 296, पंजाबी बाग़ का 280, और ITO का 263 तक पहुंच गया. वहीं पूसा रोड का AQI 362 और आर.के.पुरम का AQI 290 रिकॉर्ड किया गया. दिल्ली पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल कमेटी का कहना है कि पिछले साल की तुलना में इस बार दिवाली के बाद दिल्ली की हवा में प्रदूषण का स्तर 45 परसेंट बढ़ गया. प्रदूषण की वजह पटाखों को बताया जा रहा है. सेंटर फॉर साइंस ऐंड एनवायरमेंट CSE के वैज्ञानिकों ने बताया कि रात दो बजे दिल्ली के कुछ इलाक़ों का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स 900 से एक हज़ार तक पहुंच गया था हालांकि सोमवार को दोपहर बाद इसमें कुछ कमी आई. DPCC की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक़, दिवाली के बाद दिल्ली की हवा में 2.5 पार्टिकुलेट मैटर्स यानी PM 2.5 33 परसेंट बढ़ गए थे, तो PM 10 का लेवल पिछले साल की दिवाली की तुलना में 45 परसेंट तक बढ़ा हुआ रिकॉर्ड किया गया. PM 2.5 को फेफड़ों के लिए बेहद नुक़सानदेह माना जाता है. दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने आरोप लगाया कि दिल्ली में पटाखों पर प्रतिबंध लगे होने के कारण साज़िश करके हरियाणा और यूपी से पटाखे दिल्ली लाए गए ताकि दिल्ली की हवा को ख़राब किया जा सके. गोपाल राय ने इसमें भी बीजेपी नेताओं का हाथ बताया. बीजेपी नेता कपिल मिश्रा ने राय के आरोपों को बेतुका बताया. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि इस बार पंजाब सरकार ने दावा किया है कि पूरे पंजाब में दिवाली के बाद एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स 2022 की तुलना में लगभग 8 परसेंट सुधर गया. वहीं, 2021 के मुक़ाबले इस बार दिवाली के बाद पंजाब का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स क़रीब 23 परसेंट बेहतर रहा. पंजाब सरकार पिछले आंकड़ों से तुलना करके अपनी पीठ थपथपा रही है, लेकिन सच्चाई ये है कि दिवाली से पहले की तुलना में पंजाब का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स, दिवाली के बाद 30 परसेंट तक ख़राब हो गया. 11 नवंबर को पंजाब के कई शहरों का AQI 100 के आस-पास था लेकिन दिवाली के बाद पटियाला का AQI 169, लुधियाना का 166, अमृतसर का एयर क्वालिटी इंडेक्स 161 और संगरूर का 167 दर्ज किया गया. साफ है कि पंजाब की भगवंत मान सरकार पिछले दो साल के आंकड़ों से तुलना करके अपनी तारीफ़ कर रही है. मगर, सच्चाई ये है कि पंजाब में भी दिवाली के बाद हवा ख़राब हुई. फिलहाल, आम आदमी पार्टी ने ये नहीं बताया है कि पंजाब की एयर क्वालिटी ख़राब होने के पीछे ज़िम्मेदार कौन है. ये सोचकर भी अजीब लगता है कि दिल्ली का प्रदूषण सियासी टकराव का मसला बन गया है. दिल्ली में रहने वाले दो करोड़ लोग ज़हरीली हवा में सांस लेने को मजबूर हैं और दिल्ली की सरकार के मंत्री इसका हल निकालने की बजाय ये बताने में लगे हैं कि दिवाली की रात पटाखे बीजेपी वालों ने चलाए. दूसरी तरफ के लोग ये समझाने में लगे हैं कि पटाखों और आतिशबाजी पर पाबंदी लगाने का कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ, न दिल्ली में, न मुंबई में. ये भी कहा गया कि पटाखों पर पाबंदी को समर्थन करने वाले हिंदू विरोधी हैं. असलियत है कि किसी को नहीं पता कि दिल्ली में वायु प्रदूषण की असली वजह क्या है, पंजाब की पराली या दिल्ली की आतिशबाजी? न ही किसी को ये पता है कि वायु प्रदूषण का हल क्या है? आसमान से बरसात हुई तो दिल्ली की हवा साफ हो गई, हवा चली तो प्रदूषण कम हो गया, बरसात बंद हुई, हवा रुकी तो प्रदूषण फिर लौट आया. अच्छा तो ये होगा कि सभी पार्टियों के लोग मिलकर अपना दिमाग लगाएं, मिलकर बैठें और सोचें कि वायु प्रदूषण का समाधान क्या है, ताकि अगले साल फिर इसी तरह की बयानबाज़ी न करनी पड़े.
STOP BLAME GAME ON DELHI AIR POLLUTION
On Diwali night, the Supreme Court’s ban on firecrackers in Delhi went up in smoke, as the entire National Capital Region was enveloped in a lethal haze of smoke by next morning. Particulate matter 2.5 levels rose sharply, breached all limits. The most polluted spots were Anand Vihar with 1,985, followed by Patparganj with 1,856, Jahangirpuri 1,792, Nehru Nagar with 1,784 and Nehru Stadium with 1,423 micrograms per cubic meter particulate matter in air. Overall, Delhi’s AQI jumped up from 218 in ‘poor’ category’ top 403 in ‘severe’ category. Scientists attributed the rise in AQI to emissions from firecrackers, stubble burning in neighboring states and adverse meteorological conditions, resulting in accumulation of pollutants on Monday morning. The Central Pollution Control Board put the AQI in Anand Vihar at 296, in Punjabi Bagh at 290 and at ITO at 263, while it was 362 on Pusa Road and 290 in R K Puram. Delhi Pollution Control Committee said, air pollution level rose by 45 per cent this year compared to last year’s Diwali. Centre for Science and Environment scientists said, by 2 am, AQI entered the 900-1,000 range in some localities. There was mudslinging between AAP and BJP leaders in Delhi, with Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai alleging that firecrackers were burst in “a targeted manner in some places at the behest of local BJP leaders”. He alleged that despite ban, firecrackers were smuggled in from Haryana and UP to Delhi. BJP leader Kapil Mishra described Rai’s allegation as “shameful”. Mishra said, it is foolish to hold firecrackers responsible for air pollution. The interesting point to note is that Punjab government has claimed that air quality improved after Diwali this year. The state government claimed that there was 8 per cent improvement in AQI across the state compared to last year. The ground reality is that Punjab’s air quality deteriorated by 30 per cent compared to pre-Diwali figures. On November 11, AQI in several cities of Punjab was around 100, but after Diwali, AQI was 169 in Patiala, 166 in Ludhiana, 161 in Amritsar and 167 in Sangrur. Clearly, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government can pat its own back by comparing Diwali figures with those of last two years. AAP leaders are yet to say who is responsible for air pollution in Punjab. It is surprising that the issue of air pollution has become a political issue among parties. Nearly two crore people living in National Capital Region are being forced to inhale lethal air, but the Delhi environment minister, instead of exploring solutions, is blaming BJP leaders for inciting people to burst crackers on Diwali night. At the other end of the spectrum, there are people trying to explain that the ban on firecrackers did not work, neither in Delhi, nor in Mumbai. It was also said that those supporting ban on Diwali firecrackers are anti-Hindu. The reality is, nobody knows the exact and the main reason behind air pollution in Delhi: Whether it is burning of paddy stubble in Punjab? or bursting of firecrackers in Delhi on Diwali night? Nor do people have a definite solution for tackling air pollution. The single night shower accompanied by winds in Delhi last weekend cleared the continuous haze within minutes, but when rainfall and blowing of winds stopped, air pollution was back. It would be better if all stakeholders and political leaders sit together, rack their brains and find a durable solution to air pollution, so that they can be saved from levelling charges and counter-charges next year.
