महाराष्ट्र में आरक्षण की आग : एकनाथ शिंदे के लिए चुनौती
महाराष्ट्र में अब मराठा आंदोलन की चिंगारी शोलों में तब्दील हो चुकी हैं. सोमवार को बीड, हिंगोली, ठाणे, मुंबई, धाराशिव समेत कई इलाकों में हिंसा भड़क उठी. प्रदर्शनकारियों ने सड़कों पर आगज़नी की, बसों पर पथराव किया. NCP के दो विधायकों समेत कई नेताओं के घरों पर हमला किया, आग लगा दी. बीड में हालात बेकाबू होने के बाद शहर में कर्फ्यू लगा दिया गया. बीड में सोमनार को दिन भर जमकर हिंसा हुई. भीड़ ने बीड में एनसीपी के दफ्तर को आग के हवाले कर दिया. बाद भीड़ ने शरद पवार की पार्टी के विधायक संदीप क्षीरसागर का घर जला दिया. दिन में अजित पवार की पार्टी के विधायक प्रकाश सोलंके के घर को भी सैकड़ों आंदोलनकारियों ने आग के हवाले कर दिया. माजलगांव और वाडवानी में आरक्षण की मांग को लेकर सोमवार को बंद की कॉल दी गई थी, इसलिए ज्यादातर बाजार बंद रहे. हजारों लोगों की भीड़ विधायक प्रकाश सोलंके के घर पर पहुंच गई. पहले वहां पथराव किया, वहां खड़ी गाडियों को तोड़ा गया, घर के अंदर घुसकर सामान तोड़े, और आखिर में घर को आग लगा दी. जिस वक्त ये हमला हुआ उस वक्त विधायक प्रकाश सोलंके घर के अंदर मौजूद थे. सोलंके ने खुद को एक कमरे में बंद करके किसी तरह जान बचाई. सोलंके ने कहा कि हमला करने वाले पूरी तैयारी के साथ आए थे, उनके पास डीजल पेट्रोल से भरे डिब्बे थे. NCP विधायक ने आरोप लगाया कि घर के बाहर पुलिस मौजूद थी लेकिन उसने भीड़ को रोकने की कोशिश नहीं की. मराठा आंदोलनकारियों के गुस्सा बीजेपी विधायक प्रशांत बंब के दफ्तर पर भी निकला. प्रशांत बंब छत्रपति संभाजी नगर की गंगापुर सीट से विधायक हैं. उनके दफ्तर पर आंदोलनकारियों ने हमला कर दिया, दफ्तर में तोड़फोड़ की गई. मराठा आरक्षण के नाम पर जो आंदोलन कर रहे हैं, वो सरकारी दफ्तरों को भी निशाना बना रहे हैं. बीड के माजलगांव में नगर परिषद के दफ्तर को प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आग के हवाले कर दिया. करीब 4 हजार की भीड़ दफ्तर के अंदर घुसी. आंदोलनकारियों ने दफ्तर में कंप्यूटर, फर्नीचर सब तोड़ डाले, इसके बाद प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कर्मचारियों से दफ्तर से बाहर जाने को कहा और इसके बाद बिल्डिंग में आग लगा दी. पुलिस मौके पर नहीं पहुंची. आंदोलनकारियों ने कई हाईवे ब्लॉक कर दिए. बीड में धुले-सोलापुर नेशनल हाईवे को टायर जला कर ब्लॉक कर दिया. बीड की तरह धाराशिव में भी मराठा आंदोलनकारियों ने उग्र प्रदर्शन किया और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर ट्रैफिक को रोका. मराठा आंदोलनकारी एकनाथ शिंदे की सरकार पर लगातार दबाव बढ़ा रहे हैं. एक तरफ हिंसा हो रही है तो दूसरी तरफ 25 अक्टूबर से आरक्षण आंदोलन के नेता मनोज जरांगे पाटिल भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे हैं. पाटिल को समर्थन देने के लिए मराठा युवाओं ने भी कई इलाकों में भूख हड़ताल शुरु कर दी है. इन लोगों का आरोप है कि शिंदे सरकार ने वादा पूरा नहीं किया. एकनाथ शिंदे ने एक महीने की मोहलत मांगी थी, वो मियाद पूरी हो गई लेकिन आरक्षण नहीं मिला. मराठा आंदोलन में हुई हिंसा के लिए विरोधी दलों ने एकनाथ शिन्दे की सरकार को जिम्मेदार ठहराया. NCP नेता सुप्रिया सुले ने कहा कि कानून और व्यवस्था गृह विभाग की जिम्मेदारी है और देवेन्द्र फडणवीस को तुरंत इस्तीफा देना चाहिए. मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कहा कि कि उनकी सरकार आरक्षण का वादा पूरा करेगी, लेकिन सरकार चाहती है कि ऐसा इंतजाम करे जिससे आरक्षण का मुद्दा कोर्ट में न अटके. इसलिए इसमें थोड़ वक्त लग रहा है. शिन्दे ने कहा कि प्रदर्शनकारियों को थोड़ा धैर्य रखना चाहिए, हिंसा से कुछ हासिल नहीं होगा, इस तरह की हरकतों से मराठा आंदोलन भटक सकता है. कांग्रेस नेता अशोक चव्हाण ने कहा कि एकनाथ शिंदे विपक्ष पर इल्जाम लगा रहे हैं लेकिन सच तो ये है कि मराठा आरक्षण के लिए बनी कमेटी में एकनाथ शिंदे भी थे. मराठा आरक्षण का मुद्दा बहुत पुराना और बहुत जटिल है. 42 साल पुराना ये मसला 42 घंटों में सुलझ जाएगा इसकी उम्मीद करना ठीक नहीं है. एक नज़र पूरी पृष्ठभूमि पर डालें. महाराष्ट्र में मराठा आरक्षण को लेकर सबसे पहले 1981 में अन्नासाहेब पाटिल ने आंदोलन किया था, उसके बाद हर पार्टी ने मौके के हिसाब से इस पर सियासत की. इसकी बजह ये है कि महाराष्ट्र में मराठाओं की आबादी 33 प्रतिशत है. अब तक महाराष्ट्र के जो 21 मुख्यमंत्री हुए हैं, उनमें 12 मराठा हैं. एकनाथ शिन्दे मराठा हैं, उनकी सरकार में उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार मराठा हैं. पूर्व कांग3स मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वी राज चव्हाण भी मराठा हैं. 2014 में पृथ्वी राज चव्हाण ने विधानसभा चुनाव से ठीक पहले अध्यादेश के जरिए सरकारी नौकरियों और शिक्षा में मराठों को 16 प्रतिशत आरक्षण देने का फैसला किया लेकिन वो जानते थे कि मामला कोर्ट में अटकेगा. वही हुआ. चुनाव के बाद देवेन्द्र फड़नवीस की सरकार बनी. फड़नवीस ने एम जी गायकवाड़ की अध्यक्षता वाले पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर मराठों को आरक्षण देने की मंजूरी दी. 2019 में बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने इसे मंजूरी भी दे दी लेकिन मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जाकर अटक गया. 2021 में जस्टिस अशोक भूषण की अध्यक्षता वाली सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पांच जजों की संविधान पीठ ने मराठा आरक्षण को रद्द कर दिया.. इस बार सरकार की कोशिश है कि मराठा आरक्षण पूरी तैयारी के साथ लागू किया जाए. कोई भूलचूक न रहे, मामला फिर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सामने जाकर निरस्त न हो जाए, लेकिन अब फिर चुनाव सामने हैं. मुद्दा नाज़ुक है. मामले को फिर से गरम किया जा रहा है. आरक्षण जैसा सवाल नौकरी और रोजगार से जुडा है, इस पर आग लगाना आसान होता है और उसे बुझाना बहुत मुश्किल. और यही एकनाथ शिंदे के सामने बड़ी चुनौती है.
MARATHA UNREST: A BIG CHALLENGE FOR EKNATH SHINDE
Protesters demanding reservation for Maratha community indulged in arson and vandalism in Marathwada region of Maharashtra on Monday and Tuesday setting fire to the homes of MLAs and the offices of NCP and BJP. A BJP office was set on fire in Hingoli on Tuesday, but the fire was soon doused by police. On Monday, the homes of two NCP MLAs Prakash Solunke of Majalgaon and Sandeep Kshirsagar in Beed district were set on fire by mobs. Solunke belongs to Ajit Pawar-led NCP while Kshirsagar belongs to Sharad Pawar-led NCP. The protesters stoned state-run buses and blocked the Dhule-Solapur highway by throwing burning tyres on the road. Curfew was imposed in Beed district while Sec 144 prohibitory orders have been clamped in Dharashiv district. Security has been stepped up outside the homes of MLAs, MPs and ministers to prevent violence. Meanwhjile, the fast unto death by Maratha agitation leader Manoj Jarange-Patil entered the seventh day in Antarwali Sarati village in Jalna district. Jarange-Patil appealed to protesters not to resort to violence. He alleged that “politicians from the ruling dispensation are getting the houses of MLAs torched by their own men”. More than 4,000 protesters set fire to the Municipal Council office in Beed on Monday before ransacking the office and broke computer systems and furniture. In Chunabhatti, Mumbai, Maratha protesters sat on hunger strike in solidarity with Jarange-Patil. Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde on Monday said, Kunbi (OBC) certificates will be issued to 11,530 Marathas on the basis of Nizam-era proof in Marathwada, as per recommendation of Justice Sandeep Shinde committee. The chief minister said, the state government has set up a three-member committee comprising retired judges, Justice M G Gaikwad and Justice Dilip Bhosale, to advise on the curative petition in Supreme Court on Maratha reservation issue. This committee will also advise the Backward Class Commission on empirical data required to prove the social backwardness of Maratha community. The chief minister appealed to Maratha youths not to resort to the extreme step of committing suicide or indulge in violence, as it will be a dark blot for the entire community. Eknath Shinde said, the state government needs time as it is a legal issue and the curative petition should not be dismissed in the apex court this time. Meanwhile, an opposition delegation led by Sunil Prabhu met the Governor on Monday and suggested that a unanimous resolution for Maratha reservation be adopted by state assembly and forwarded to the Centre, so that necessary legal amendments can be brought. The demand for Maratha reservation is an old one, and it is a complicated issue, no doubt. The issue has been hanging fire for the last 42 years and it will be improper to expect it to be solved within 42 hours. Annasaheb Patil was the first leader to launch an agitation for Maratha reservation in 1981. Over the years, political parties in Maharashtra used this issue to grind their own axe. Marathas constitute 33 per cent of Maharashtra’s population. Out of the 21 chief ministers in Mahrashtra till now, 12 were Marathas. The present chief minister is also a Maratha. His deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar is also a Maratha. Former Congress chief minister Prithviraj Chavan was also a Maratha. In 2014, just before the assembly elections, Prithviraj Chavan’s government brought an ordinance giving 16 per cent reservation to Maratha community in government jobs and education. Chavan knew that this ordinance will not stand judicial scrutiny. When Devendra Fadnavis became chief minister, his government sanctioned Maratha reservation based on the Backward Class Commission report. In 2019, Bombay High Court upheld this measure, but in 2021, a five-judge Constitution Bench of Supreme Court headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan quashed the move. This time, the state government wants to take no such risk of rejection in apex court, based on legal loopholes. Since general elections are slated next year, and the issue is sensitive, Maratha reservation has become a hot topic among voters. The question of reservation is linked to government jobs and employment. It is easier to light a fire, but for Eknath Shinde, it is a big challenge. The question is, how to douse the fire.
गाज़ा में युद्धविराम की अपील, पर इज़राइली बमबारी जारी
शुक्रवार की रात को जब संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने भारी बहुमत से एक प्रस्ताव पारित कर गाज़ा में तुरंत युद्धविराम लागू करने की अपील की, उसी समय इज़राइल की सेना गाज़ा में ज़बरदस्त बमबारी कर रही थी. संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में यह प्रस्ताव जॉर्डन और अन्य अरब मुल्कों ने पेश किया था. इसके पक्ष में 120 वोट पड़े, जबकि अमेरिका, इज़राइल सहित 14 देशों ने प्रस्ताव का विरोध किया. भारत, ब्रिटेन, कनाडा सहित 45 देशों ने वोटिंग में हिस्सा नहीं लिया. कनाडा की मांग थी कि प्रस्ताव में हमास द्वारा 7 अक्टूबर को किये गये बेगुनाहों के कत्लेआम की निंदा की जाय, लेकिन अरब देश इसे शामिल करने के लिए तैयार नहीं हुए. इधर, इज़राइल और हमास की जंग की चिंगारी दूसरे देशों में फैलने का खतरा पैदा हो गया है. जंग की आग इज़राइल की सीमा से आगे बढ़कर सीरिया और इराक़ तक पहुंचने के आसार हैं. इस जंग में अमेरिका और ईरान आमने सामने हो गए हैं. अमेरिकी वायु सेना के एफ-15 और एफ-16 विमानों ने शुक्रवार की सुबह सूरज निकलने से पहले सीरिया और इराक में कई मिसाइल्स फायर की. अमेरिका का दावा है कि इराक़ और सीरिया में उसके बेस पर पिछले कुछ दिनों में हमले हुए हैं, इसलिए अमेरिका ने आतंकवादियों के ठिकानों को बर्बाद किया है. इसी बीच एक रॉकेट मिस्र में गिरा. इससे मिस्र आगबबूला है. इजराइल का कहना है कि ये हमास का रॉकेट है जो मिसफायर हुआ लेकिन हमास का दावा है कि इजराइल ने मिस्र के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोला है. मिस्र ने कहा है कि वो खामोश नहीं बैठेगा, जवाब देगा. ईरान ने भी जंग की तैयारी शुरू कर दी है. ईरान के विदेश मंत्री ने कहा है कि अगर गाज़ा पर बमबारी तुंरत बंद नहीं हुई तो अब इजराइली सेना को ईरानी फौज का सामना करना पड़ेगा. कुल मिलाकर अब इजराइल और हमास की जंग में ईरान, सीरिया, लेबनान और मिस्र के साथ साथ अमेरिकी फौज भी सक्रिय हो गई है. दूसरी तरफ इजराइल ने गुरुवार और शुक्रवार की रात के अंधेरे में गाजा में ज़मीनी हमला शुरु किया, लेकिन वही हुआ जिसकी आशंका अमेरिका बार बार जाहिर कर रहा था. रात में इजराइल की सेना टैंकों के साथ गाजा में घुसी लेकिन थोड़ी ही देर के बाद इजराइली टैंक वापस लौटने पर मजबूर हो गए क्योंकि हमास की तरफ से इजराइल पर जवाबी हमला हुआ. हमास के जवाबी हमले से इजराइली सेना भी चौंक गई और उसने वापस लौटने में ही भलाई समझी. हालांकि इजराइल का दावा है कि उसने हमास के बड़े कमांडर और हमाल की हवाई विंग के चीफ को मार गिराया है और उसके कई ठिकाने बर्बाद कर दिए हैं. इजराइल जो दावे कर रहा है, वो अपनी जगह है लेकिन अब ये जंग दूसरे मुल्कों की तरफ बढ़ता दीख रहा है. पूर्वी सीरिया में इरान समर्थित आतंकियों के जिन ठिकानों पर अमेरिकी वायु सेना के विमानों ने शुक्रवार को हमले किये, वे मुख्यत: गोलाबारूद और हथियार वाले भंडार थे. छह फाइटर जेट्स ने सीरिया और इराक़ की सीमा पर अबु कमाल नाम के ठिकाने पर प्रिसिज़न बॉम्बिंग की, मतलब सटीक निशाना लगाने वाली मिसाइलें दाग़ी. इन हमलों में ईरान की सेना के इलीट रिपब्लिकन गार्ड्स के ठिकाने नष्ट हो गए. अमेरिका ने एक बयान में बताया है कि 17 अक्टूबर के बाद से सीरिया और इराक़ में उसके सैनिक अड्डों पर लगातार हमले हो रहे थे, जिनमें अमेरिका के 21 सैनिक घायल हो गए थे. उसी का बदला लेने के लिए अमेरिकी विमानों ने ये बमबारी की. अमेरिकी रक्षा मंत्रालय पेंटागन ने एक बयान में कहा कि 17 अक्टूबर से अब तक उसके ठिकानों पर 12 से ज़्यादा हमले हो चुके हैं. अमेरिका का कहना है कि ये हमले ईरान के सपोर्ट वाले ग्रुप कर रहे हैं जिसके बाद अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के आदेश पर सीरिया-इराक़ बॉर्डर पर रिपब्लिकन गार्ड्स के हथियारों के डिपो पर बमबारी की गई. 7 अक्टूबर को इज़राइल पर हमास के हमले के बाद, पूरे मिडिल ईस्ट में भयंकर तनाव है. इज़राइल की मदद के लिए, अमेरिका ने अपने दो जंगी बेड़े मिडिल ईस्ट में तैनात कर दिए हैं. तीसरा अमेरिकी एयरक्राफ्ट करियर पहले से ही मिडिल ईस्ट में मौजूद है. इजराइल और हमास के मामले पर पूरी दुनिया दो भागों में तो पहले ही बंट चुकी थी लेकिन अब दो तरह की सोच वाले मुल्कों के बीच टकराव दिखाई दे रहा है, जो चिंता की बात है. जहां तक इजराइल का सवाल है,उसे दुनिया के एक बड़े हिस्से का समर्थन है. हमास की बर्बरता के बाद इजराइल ठान चुका है कि वह हमास को सबक सिखा कर रहेगा. फिलहाल उसकी सबसे बड़ी मांग ये है कि हमास ने जिन 224 लोगों को बंधक बनाया हुआ है, उन्हें छोड़े, लेकिन इसके बाद भी इजराइल इस बात की कोई गारंटी नहीं देना चाहता कि वो गाज़ा में हमास पर हमले रोक देगा. दूसरी तरफ दुनिया को चिंता है, गाज़ा में रहने वाले आम लोगों की. गाजा में रहने वाले लोगों के पास खाने पीने और दवाओं की भारी कमी है, अस्पताल तबाह हो चुके हैं. न पेट्रोल है, न बिजली और जो मदद पहुंच रही है, वो न के बराबर है. गाजा में इस जंग के पहले करीब पांच सौ ट्रक रोज जाते थे,अब पिछले तीन हफ्ते में खाने पीने और दवाईयों को लेकर सिर्फ 76 ट्रकों को जाने की अनुमति मिली. इंसानियत के लिहाज से ये बहुत कम है. इजराइल ने गाजा को दी जाने वाली बिजली की सप्लाई भी कम कर दी है, ईंधन भी कम है. ये सप्लाई इसीलिए रोकी गई कि हमास के आतंकवादी इसका इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं लेकिन अब धीरे धीरे इजराइल पर इस बात के लिए दबाव बन रहा है कि वो ज़रूरत का सामान जाने की इजाज़त दे. गाज़ा में रहने वाले लोगों को भोजन, पानी और दवा के साथ साथ बिजली की भी सप्लाई मिले लेकिन अभी तक इस बारे में इजराइल ने कोई सकारात्मक संकेत नहीं दिया है.
ISRAEL BOMBS GAZA AS UN CALLS FOR TRUCE
Even as the UN General Assembly adopted a non-binding resolution calling for immediate humanitarian truce in Gaza, Israeli Air Force carried out overnight bombardment on nearly 150 Hamas underground sites inside southern Gaza. A large number of Hamas terrorists, including the chief of Hamas aerial wing Issam Abu Rukbeh, who masterminded October 7 paraglider attacks on Israeli settlements, were killed. Israeli infantry, combat engineering forces and tanks are still inside Gaza Strip as ground operation continued in the morning, with all internet and phone connections snapped. On Friday morning, US F-16 and F-15 fighter jets struck two terrorist sites inside Syria linked to Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps in, what Pentagon said, retaliation of drone and missile attacks against US bases and personnel in the region. The attacks were carried out on weapons and ammunition storage facilities near Boukamal in eastern Syria, a senior US Air Force official said. On Saturday morning, the Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant spoke to US defense secretary Lloyd Austin about the ongoing ground operations inside Gaza. US officials believe that the “expanded” operations by Israel inside Gaza could be the beginning of a major ground offensive against Hamas. Meanwhile, two Egyptian towns of Taba and Nuweiba were hit by rockets, but Israel said they were fired by Hamas terrorists. Iran’s foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian told the United Nations that if Israel’s attacks on Gaza do not stop, United States “will not be spared from this fire”. “I want to tell American leaders, whoa re now managing the genocide in Palestine, that we do not want expansion of war in the region. But if the genocide in Gaza continues, they will not be spared from this fire”. ..Iran stands ready to play its part in this humanitarian endeavour, along with Qatar and Turkey”, the foreign minister said. Already, Iran’s ground forces have begun military war exercises to display its might. Its elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and air force are taking part in the exercise. The commander-in-chief of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Gen Hossein Salami has said, “Israeli army will be buried inside Gaza, and the US will also be destroyed by the fire they have lit.” His comments came two days after his deputy Brig. Gen. Ali Fadavi said, Iran will launch missiles directly towards Israel’s Haifa port, if it “foolishly decides to go ahead with its ground assault in Gaza”. Iran is providing support to Islamic militia groups in Yemen, Syria and Lebanon to counter US and Israel’s might in the region. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is in no mood to listen. He has already given permission to his forces to launch ground assault inside Gaza. India TV reporter Amit Palit was near Jabalia camp, when Israeli defense force carried out surgical strike inside Gaza. Rockets were fired by Hamas on Israeli tanks, but the Israeli forces returned after completing their operation. The fate of nearly 229 Israelis held hostages by Hamas is still not known. The death toll in Gaza has already topped 8,800 in the last 22 days and almost the entire Gaza Strip has been reduced to rubble. Already the world is now divided into two camps over the Israel-Hamas conflict with both sides pursuing divergent line of thought. On Friday night, 120 countries voted in favour of a resolution moved by Arab countries, while 14 including the US and Israel voted against and 45 countries, including India, UK, Canada and others abstained. With more attacks going on, the situation threatens to escalate into a bigger regional conflict, which is a worrying sign. Israel has the support of US, western powers and other countries. Israel has vowed to take revenge on the massacres carried out by Hamas. It wants that Hamas must release the hostages soon. Unless the hostages are not released, Israel is unwilling to give guarantee that it will not stop its attacks on Gaza. On the other hand, countries across the world are worried about the fate of lakhs of people living inside Gaza. They have been facing acute difficulties due to lack of food, water, medicines, fuel, electricity and other essentials. Many hospitals have been reduced to rubble. The humanitarian assistance that is being allowed inside Gaza is only a trickle. In the last three weeks, only 76 trucks were allowed to carry food and medicines into Gaza. This is negligible considering the gigantic humanitarian issue involved.

मध्य प्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा में कांग्रेस नेता कमल नाथ ने गुरुवार को कहा कि ‘अयोध्या में बन रहा राम मंदिर केवल बीजेपी का नहीं, यह हमारे देश का मंदिर है. हर भारतीय का है. यह हमारे सनातन धर्म का बहुत बड़ा चिह्न है. ये मंदिर किसी पार्टी का नहीं है. ये तो ऐसे बात कर रहे हैं जैसे ये मंदिर बीजेपी का है. ‘ कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘ प्रभु राम पर बीजेपी का कॉपी राइट थोड़े है, राम तो सबके हैं, राम मंदिर भी सबका है, इसलिए इस मामले में बीजेपी की नहीं चलेगी.’ दरअसल जब से प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ट्विटर पर लिखा कि वो 22 जनवरी को अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे, इस मुद्दे पर सियासत शुरू हो गई. रामजन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट की तरफ से प्रधानमंत्री को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समारोह का न्योता दिया गया. उसके बाद से ही विरोधी दलों के नेताओं ने पूछना शुरू कर दिया कि मंदिर सिर्फ बीजेपी का नहीं है, तो फिर सिर्फ बीजेपी के नेताओं को ही आमंत्रित क्यों किया जा रहा है? कांग्रेस नेता सलमान खुर्शीद ने कहा कि ‘भगवान राम को एक ही पार्टी तक सीमित क्यों किया जा रहा है, न्योता सभी को भेजना चाहिए.’ सलमान खुर्शीद के अलावा अधीर रंजन चौधरी, नाना पटोले, संजय राउत जैसे तमाम नेताओं ने यही सवाल उठाया. सबने एक जैसी ही बात कही. बीजेपी का कोई नेता मुद्दे पर कुछ नहीं बोला लेकिन विपक्ष को जबाव दिया विश्व हिंदू परिषद के अध्यक्ष आलोक कुमार ने. उन्होने याद दिलाया कि कांग्रेस ने 2007 में राम सेतु मामले में ‘ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हलफनामा देकर भगवान राम को काल्पनिक चरित्र बताया था और उन्हें ऐतिहासिक मानने से इनकार कर दिया था, उनके अंदर रामभक्ति अचानक कैसे जाग गई.’ रामजन्म भूमि तीर्थक्षेत्र ट्रस्ट के महासचिव चंपत राय ने कहा कि उन्होंने किसी पार्टी के नेताओं को न्योता नहीं भेजा है, इस ऐतिहासिक मौके पर देश भर के चार हज़ार से ज्यादा साधू संत और समाज के अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों के जाने-माने लोग मौजूद रहेंगे. जब चंपत राय से पूछा गया कि विरोधी दलों के नेता कह रहे हैं कि इस कार्यक्रम को बीजेपी का प्रोग्राम बना दिया गया है, तो चंपत राय ने कहा, “जिसके घर में लड़के की शादी है, बारात में किसे बुलाना है, ये वही तय करेंगे, कोई और नहीं.” अब किसी को इस बात पर हैरानी नहीं होती कि कांग्रेस के नेता मांग कर रहे हैं, उन्हें भी रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समारोह में आमंत्रित किया जाए. कांग्रेस के नेता कह रहे हैं कि मोदी राम मंदिर को चुनाव का मुद्दा बना रहे हैं जबकि राम तो सब के हैं लेकिन शायद कांग्रेस के लोग इतिहास भूल गए हैं. राजीव गांधी ने शाहबानो के केस में मुसलमानों की नाराजगी दूर करने के लिए कानून बनाकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला बदला. फिर हिन्दुओं को मनाने के लिए रामलला का ताला खुलवाया. ये चुनावी पैंतरी ही था. मुझे अच्छी तरह याद है कि 1989 में चुनाव से पहले वी पी सिंह ने कांग्रेस समर्थक शंकराचार्य स्वरूपानंद सरस्वती के ज़रिए राममंदिर का शिलान्यास करवाने की कोशिश की थी. शंकराचार्य अयोध्या के लिए निकल चुके थे लेकिन मुलायम सिंह यादव धर्मनिरपेक्षता के पक्षधर बनना चाहते थे. उन्होंने मुस्लिम वोट के चक्कर में स्वरूपानंद सरस्वती को गिरफ्तार करा लिया. इसके बाद लालू प्रसाद यादव ने भी वोट के चक्कर में रथयात्रा पर निकले लालकृष्ण आडवाणी को गिरफ्तार करने का आदेश दिया था. इसके बाद वो वक्त भी आया जब कांग्रेस ने कोर्ट में प्रभु राम को काल्पनिक चरित्र बता दिया था. इसीलिए अब ये देखकर हैरानी होती है कि उन्हीं पार्टियों के सारे नेता रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने को आतुर हैं. इस बात की चर्चा भी गर्म है कि राहुल गांधी के सहयोगी अयोध्या की रेकी कर आए हैं. अब किसी दिन राहुल भी अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के दर्शन करते दिखाई देंगे. ये राजनीतिक सोच में बड़ा बदलाव है. एक ज़माने में यही नेता भगवान राम का नाम लेने से कतराते थे, उन्हें लगता था कि उनके मुस्लिम वोटर नाराज़ हो जाएंगे. अब ज़माना बदल गया है. सब राम का नाम लेते हैं. अब तो सबको लगता है कि बीजेपी राम मंदिर के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के अवसर को भव्य बनाएगी. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की उपस्थिति में रामलला मंदिर में विराजमान होंगे, इसकी गूंज पूरे देश में सुनाई देगी. अब विरोधी दलों को लगता है कि बीजेपी को चुनाव में इससे फायदा होगा. इसीलिए उनके सुर बदले हैं और कमलनाथ जैसे नेता कह रहे हैं, ‘राम मंदिर तो सबका है, सिर्फ बीजेपी का नहीं’. ज़माना वाकई में बदल गया है.
क्या महुआ की संसद की सदस्यता जाएगी?
पैसे लेकर सवाल पूछने के केस में संसद की एथिक्स कमेटी ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा के खिलाफ जांच शुरू कर दी. शिकायत करने वाले बीजेपी सांसद निशिकांत दुबे और वकील जय अनंत गुरुवार को कमेटी के सामने पेश हुए और अब महुआ को कमेटी ने 31 अक्टूबर को पेश होने को कहा है. एथिक्स कमेटी के अध्यक्ष विनोद सोनकर ने कहा कि महुआ को उनका पक्ष रखने तका मौका दिया जाएगा. इसके साथ ही कमेटी ने गृह और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालयों से महुआ मोइत्रा, दर्शन हीरनंदानी और जय अनंत के बीच हुई बातचीत का ब्यौरा मांगा है. महुआ मोइत्रा पर फेवर लेकर पार्लियामेंट में सवाल पूछने के जो आरोप अब तक मीडिया में थे, अब वो संसद की Ethics कमेटी के सामने गवाहों के समेत पेश कर दिए गए हैं. Ethics कमेटी को अगर इस बात के सबूत मिल गए कि महुआ के नाम पर संसद के पोर्टल पर पार्लियामेंट के लिए सवाल दुबई से पोस्ट किए गए थे, अगर इस बात के सबूत मिले कि महुआ को एमपी के तौर पर मिला लॉगिन दुबई में बैठे दर्शन हीरानंदानी ने ऑपरेट किया था, तो वो उनके खिलाफ कमेटी कार्रवाई कर सकती है. महुआ की पार्टी तृणमूल कांग्रेस अभी ‘देखो और इंतज़ार करो’ की नीति अपना रही है, अगर कमेटी ने महुआ को दोषी पाया तो उनकी संसद की सदस्यता भी जाएगी और तृणमूल कांग्रेस भी उन्हें बाहर कर देगी.
WHY CONGRESS WANTS AN INVITE FOR RAM TEMPLE CONSECRATION?
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted the formal invitation from Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, slated for January 22, several Congress leaders have raised questions. Congress leader Salman Khurshid asked, “Is the invitation going to just one party? Is God now limited to one party? The invitation should be for everyone.” Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath said, “Ram temple belongs to every person in India and it is a great symbol of our Sanatan Dharma. Does the temple belong only to BJP?” Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “Ram mandir has nothing to do with politics. Indians have been worshipping Lord Ram since thousands of years. Suddenly Modi Ji have become a Ram Bhakt and he is trying to divide people on the basis of religion”. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, “there was no need to invite the Prime Minister. As PM, he would have definitely gone on his own. Thousands of kar sevaks sacrificed their lives for Ram Janmabhoomi. Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, VHP were there. Advani Ji took out rath yatra. Prime Minister will go there but I think this seems to be part of preparation for elections.” VHP president Alok Kumar reminded that it was Congress-led UPA government which had filed an affidavit in Supreme Court refusing to accept Lord Ram as part of Indian history and had described him as a mythological figure. Trust general secretary Champat Rai angrily said, “those organizing a son’s wedding will decide whom to invite and whom not to.” Nobody should be surprised over the demands of Congress leaders that they should also be invited to the ceremony. Congress leaders also allege that Modi is trying to make Ram temple an issue before the elections. Lord Ram belongs to each one of us, but Congress leaders have probably forgotten past history. Former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, in order to appease Muslim voters, got Muslim Personal Law amended in Parliament to overturn Supreme Court verdict in Shah Bano case. It was his government, in order to appease Hindus, ordered opening up of the locked Ram Janmabhoomi for worship of Ram Lalla idol. Both these steps were part of electoral tactics. I still remember: Just before the 1989 Lok Sabha elections, V P Singh had tried to organize ‘shilanyas’ (foundation laying) of Ram Janmabhoomi temple by using the help of pro-Congress Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati. The Shankaracharya had already left for Ayodhya, but Mulayam Singh Yadav wanted to project himself as the champion of secularism. He ordered the arrest of Shankaracharya, to appease Muslim voters. Later in 1991, Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad, in order to appease Muslim vote bank, ordered arrest of L K Advani in Samastipur to stop his Ayodhya-bound rath yatra. In the Supreme Court, Congress-led UPA government in 2007, filed an affidavit through Archaeological Survey of India in Ram Sethu case before the Supreme Court, in which it was said, “Valmiki Ramayana and Ramcharit Manas are mythological texts..which cannot be said to be historical records to incontrovertibly prove the existence of the characters”. After describing Lord Ram as a mythological character, it is now surprising that the leaders of the same party are eager to attend the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Already, there are media reports that a close associate of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has already made a recce of Ayodhya and has met religious leaders. Very soon, Rahul may visit Ayodhya to pay obeisance to Lord Ram. This indicates a big paradigm shift in the thought process of Congress leaders. There was a time when the same leaders used to avoid the very mention of Lord Ram, fearing backlash from Muslim voters. Times have now changed. Most of the mainstream parties are invoking the name of Lord Ram. Already opposition parties have begun to realize that the BJP is going to pull out all stops to make the Ram Temple consecration ceremony a grand success, and it can reap a rich electoral harvest. It is, in this context, that we hear leaders like Kamal Nath saying, ‘Ram Temple belongs not only to BJP, but to each and every Indian’. Times have really changed.
WILL MAHUA LOSE HER LS MEMBERSHIP?
Parliament’s Ethics Committee on Thursday recorded the oral testimonies of complainants BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai in the “cash for question” allegations against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra. The panel has now sought assistance from Home and Information Technology ministries for getting details about conversations between industrialist Darshan Hiranandani, Mahua Moitra and Dehadrai. The Trinamool MP has been summoned to record her testimony on October 31. If the panel finds concrete evidence of the industrialist Hiranandani, based in Dubai, using the login and password of Mahua Moitra in Parliament website for sending questions to Lok Sabha secretariat, she may land in big trouble and may lose her membership. Already, her party Trinamool Congress is now in a wait-and-watch mode. If Mahua loses her Lok Sabha membership, the party may also decide to expel her.

इज़राइल, फलस्तीन, हमास पर भारत का संतुलित रुख
इज़राइल और हमास की जंग अब गाज़ा के दायरे से बाहर जा रही है. पूरा मध्य पूर्व इसकी चपेट में आ सकता है, ईरान और अमेरिका भिड़ सकते हैं. ईरान के सर्वोच्च नेता आयतुल्लाा खामनेई ने कह दिया कि अमेरिका के हाथ गाज़ा के बच्चों के खून से रंगे हैं, गाजा में हजारों लोगों की मौत का जिम्मेदार अमेरिका है, अगर इजराइली फौज गाजा में घुसने की हिमाकत करती है तो उसे ईरान की इलीट ब्रिगेड, क़ुद्स फ़ोर्स का सामना करना पड़ेगा. ईरान की धमकी को अमेरिका ने बहुत गंभीरता से लिया है. अमेरिका ने चेतावनी दी है कि ईरान और उसके सहयोगी संगठन अमेरिकी नागरिकों को निशाना बनाने के गलती न करें वरना अमेरिका को अपने लोगों की हिफाजत करना अच्छे से आता है. दूसरी तरफ तुर्किए के राष्ट्रपति अर्दोआन भी खुलकर हमास के समर्तन में आ गए. अर्दोआन ने कहा हमास आतंकवादी संगठन नहीं है, इजराइल आतंकवादी देश है, अगर इजराइल गाजा पर हमले नहीं रोकता तो इसके खतरनाक नतीजे भुगतने होंगे. ईरान और तुर्किए के अलावा मिस्र , जॉर्डन, सऊदी अरब, लेबनान, सीरिया जैसे मध्य पूर्व के कई देशों ने गाज़ा पर तुरंत हमले रोकने की बात कही है., लेकिन इजराइल इसके लिए तैयार नहीं हैं. इस मामले में अमेरिका भी इजराइल के साथ है. इजराइल ने फिर कह दिया है कि जब तक हमास का खात्मा नहीं करेंगे तब तक एक्शन जारी रहेगा क्योंकि हमास का वजूद इंसानियत के लिए खतरा है. इजराइल ने पहली बार हमास के उन दहशगर्दों के वीडियो जारी कर दिए जिन्होंने 7 अक्टूबर को इजराइल के सरहदी इलाकों में घुसकर कत्लेआम मचाया था. हमला करने वाले हमास के कुछ आतंकवादियों को इजराइली सेना ने जिंदा पकड़ा है . ये दरिंदे बता रहे हैं कि इजराइल में घुसने का हुक्म उन्हें किसने दिया था, क्या टारगेट था, क्या मकसद था. एक बंधक के बदले दस हजार डॉलर और एक फ्लैट इनाम के तौर पर देने का वादा किया गया था. हमास के आतंकवादियों ने बताया कि उन्हें इजराइली पुरूषों को तुरंत खत्म कर देने, ज्यादा से ज्यादा महिलाओं, बच्चों और बुजुर्गों को अगवा करके गाज़ा लाने का हुक्म दिया गया था और उन्होंने वैसे ही किया. जो सामने दिखा, उसे गोली से उड़ा दिया. 7 अक्टूबर के हमले का एक और ऑडियो सामने आया जिसमें हमास का एक आतंकवादी फोन पर अपने पिता से बात करता हुआ दिखाई दे रहा है. वो कह रहा है कि उसने अभी अभी दस इजराइलियों को मार डाला है. इस हैवानियत पर उसका पिता शाबाशी दे रहा है और बेटे की सुरक्षित वापसी की दुआ कर रहा है. हमास के आतंकवादियों के कबूलनामे सुनकर रौंगटे खडे हो जाते हैं. ये समझ में आता है कि हमास के हैवान कितने खौफनाक इरादों के साथ इजराइल में घुसे और वो अपने खतरनाक मंसूबों को पूरा करने में कामयाब हुए. हमास के आतंकवादियों के जो क़बूलनामे रिलीज़ हुए हैं, वो उनसे पूछताछ के दौरान रिकॉर्ड किए गए थे. इज़राइल की सुरक्षा एजेंसी शिन बेत ने इन आतंकवादियों को 7 अक्टूबर के हमले के बाद पकड़ा था और इनसे हमले के बारे में, बंधकों के बारे में पूछताछ की थी. एक वीडियो हमास के आतंकवादी शादी मुहम्मद का है, जो कि कुख्यात अल क़स्साम ब्रिगेड का सदस्य है, जिसने इज़राइल पर ये पूरा हमला प्लान किया था. अल क़स्साम के अलावा, हमास की बेहद ख़तरनाक नुख़बा फोर्स के आतंकवादी भी इज़राइल पर हमले में शामिल थे. सारे हमलावरों को स्पष्ट आदेश था कि ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा लोगों को मार दो, बाक़ी को बंधक बना लो, हर एक बंधक के बदले में हमास ने इन हैवानों को दस हज़ार डॉलर और एक फ्लैट देने का लालच दिया था. हमास ने 7 अक्टूबर का हमला पूरी प्लानिंग के साथ किया था. हमला करने वाले आतंकवादियों को ट्रेनिंग दी गई थी. पूछताछ में इन दहशतगर्दों का एक एक खुलासा दिल दहलाने वाला है.. इन आतंकवादियों ने बताया कि उन्हें तीन टारगेट दिए गए थे – घरों पर हमला करके पुरुषों और बच्चों को मार देना था, महिलाओं और बुज़ुर्गों को बंधक बनाना था और इज़राइल के सुरक्षा बलों की चौकियों में हमला करके फौज के जवानों को मारकर उनके हथियार लूटना और उसका वीडियो बनान था. हमास के आतंकवादी फौजी मुहम्मद ने कहा कि सभी नौजवानों को मार देने का ऑर्डर था, फिर चाहे वो वर्दी में हों या फिर आम नागरिक.पूछताछ के दौरान, हमास के इन आतंकवादियों ने इज़राइली सुरक्षा एजेंसी के अधिकारियों को गुमराह करने की कोशिश भी की. पूछने पर एक आतंकी ने पहले बताया कि वो अल क़स्साम ब्रिगेड से है, फिर कहा कि वो नुख़बा फोर्स से है, हालांकि, उसने अपना मक़सद बिल्कुल साफ़ साफ़ बताया. कहा कि वो इज़राइलियों से ज़मीन ख़ाली कराने के लिए गया था. हमास के हमले का बदला लेने के लिए इज़राइल, ग़ाज़ा पट्टी पर लगातार बमबारी कर रहा है, गाज़ा की सीमा पर तैनात इज़राइल के टैंक और तोपें भी हमास के ठिकानों को निशाना बना रहे हैं. इस बमबारी में गाज़ा के सिविलियन इलाके भी तबाह हो रहे हैं. गाज़ा में इज़राइल की बमबारी से अब तक लगभग छह हज़ार लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है जबकि 18 हज़ार से ज़्यादा लोग घायल हैं. फिलिस्तीन के राष्ट्रपति महमूद अब्बास ने इज़राइल पर फिलिस्तीनियों के नरसंहार का आरोप लगाया है… फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति मैक्रों से मुलाक़ात के दौरान महमूद अब्बास ने कहा कि इज़राइल अपने 222 बंधकों को छुड़ाने के लिए हज़ारों बेगुनाहों को मार रहा है, लेकिन, उसने ख़ुद 1200 से ज़्यादा फिलिस्तीनियों को बंधक बना रखा है. महमूद अब्बास ने गाज़ा में तुरंत बमबारी रोकने की मांग की. इजरायल के सैनिक गाजा पट्टी के करीब खड़े हैं भारी संख्या में टैंक और बख्तरबंद गाड़ियों ने घेराबंदी की हुई है. गाजा में घुसने के लिए पूरी तैयारी है, पर निर्देशों का इंतजार है. इजरायल के रक्षा मंत्री ने अपनी फौज से कहा है कि अबतक आप गाजा को दूर से देखते थे, लेकिन जल्दी ही आप इसे अंदर से देखेंगे, लेकिन सच ये है कि इजरायल की सरकार अभी ग्राउंड पर एक्शन करने से थोड़ा कतरा रही है. दो हफ्ते बाद भी इजरायल की तरफ से हवाई हमले तो लगातार जारी है पर जमीन पर अभी कोई एक्शन नहीं हुआ है. इसकी दो वजहें हो सकती हैं. एक इजराइली सेना के अधिकारी काफी सावधानी बरत रहे हैं. हमास ने गाजा में जो सुरंगों का जाल बिछाया हुआ है, उसके बारे में इजराइल के पास अभी पूरी जानकारी नहीं है और बिना ज़मीनी हालत जाने, अंदर जाकर एक्शन करने पर काफी नुकसान हो सकता है. दूसरी वजह राजनीतिक है. अगर इजरायल ने गाजा पर कब्जा कर भी लिया, तो वो इस का क्या करेगा? ये सवाल है. अगर हमास का नियंत्रण खत्म कर दिया तो गाज़ा इजराइल की फौज के कब्जे में होगा.फिर वो इसे किस को गाज़ा सौंपेगा? इस्रायल की फौज वहां से वापस कैसे निकलेगी? गाजा किसे सौंपेगी? इजरायल को एहसास है कि गाजा कितना भी कमजोर हो जाए फिलिस्तीन के लोगों की हमदर्दी उसके साथ बनी रहेगी. इसलिए वहाँ ज्यादा रुकना रणनीति के लिहाज से ठीक नहीं होग. वैसे भी इजरायल और हमास की जंग का असर अब पूरी दुनिया पर दिखाई देने लगा है. बंधवार को लेबनान में हमास, इस्लामिक जिहाद और हिज़्बुल्लाह के नेता मिले. हिज़्बुल्लाह, हमास के समर्थन में इज़राइल पर उत्तर की तरफ़ से हमले कर रहा है. तीनों संगठनों के नेताओं के बीच क्या बातचीत हुई ये तो पता नहीं चला लेकिन, हमास के प्रवक्ता ने ये ज़रूर कहा कि वो फिलिस्तीन की आज़ादी की लड़ाई जारी रखेंगे. संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में इज़राइल-फिलिस्तीन मसले पर चर्चा में भारत ने बहुत संतुलित रुख़ अपनाया. संयुक्त राष्ट्र में भारत के सहाय़क प्रतिनिधि आर. रवींद्र ने कहा कि हमास के हमले के बाद सबसे पहले इज़राइल का समर्थन करने वाले देशों में भारत भी शामिल था लेकिन भारत को गाजा के बेगुनाह लोगों की भी फिक्र है. इसीलिए भारत ने गाज़ा के लोगों के लिए भी 38 टन राहत सामग्री भेजी है. संयुक्त राष्ट्र में भारत ने कहा कि वो चाहता है कि इज़राइल के साथ स्वतंत्र और सार्वभौम फिलिस्तीन देश भी बने, दोनों की सीमाएं तय हों, सभी देश उनको मान्यता दें, तभी स्थायी शांति क़ायम होगी. भारत के रुख संतुलित भी है और व्यावहारिक भी. मैने पहले ही कहा कि इजराइल अगर गाज़ा पर कब्जे करता है तो उसे बरकरार रखना मुश्किल होगा.इसीलिए अब अमेरिका भी इजराइल को सलाह दे रहा है कि वो गाजा पर ग्राउंड अटैक न करे, सरहद पार न करे. एक बात तय है कि जंग हमेशा तो नहीं चल सकती. आखिरकार कोई रास्ता तो निकालना पड़ेगा. इजराइल को हमास के खिलाफ एक्शन का पूरा हक है लेकिन गाजा के लोगों को इस तरह मुसीबत में तो नहीं छोड़ा जा सकता है.. इसीलिए भारत गाजा के लोगों की मदद कर रहा है और इजराइल से संयम बरतने की अपील कर रहा है. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की इस नीति का पूरी दुनिया समर्थन कर रही है. हमारे देश में भी जो मुस्लिम नेता और मौलाना पहले आतंकवाद के खिलाफ इजराइल का समर्थन करने पर मोदी को कोस रहे थे, अब वही लोग गाज़ा के लोगों के लिए मदद भेजने पर मोदी की तारीफ कर रहे हैं.
INDIA’S BALANCED STAND ON ISRAEL, PALESTINE AND HAMAS
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas threatens to spiral into a regional conflagration in the Middle East with US and Iran issuing threats against each other. In Tehran, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei accused the US of “directing Israeli strikes in Gaza” and said, “America is a definite accomplice of criminals”. Khamenei said, “America’s hands are tainted with the blood of the oppressed, children, women, patients and others”. Iran has issued a threat saying, if Israeli forces enter Gaza, they will have to face the elite Quds Force of Iran. The US has taken Iran’s threat seriously and has rushed its air defence systems to protect its military installations in the region. Clearly, the conflict seems to be heading towards a major conflagration beyond Gaza. Meanwhile, Turkiye President Erdogan openly supported Hamas saying “it is not a terrorist organization but a liberation group waging war to protect its land”. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Syria have called for an immediate halt to all attacks and imposition of ceasefire, but Israel is determined to carry on its operations against Hamas. While Israel has agreed to halt its ground attack on Gaza on US request, its armed forces, on Wednesday night, sent infantry forces and tanks in a ‘targeted raid’ on Hamas in northern Gaza. Israeli army claimed that its forces struck several anti-tank guided missile launch positions of Hamas. The troops left the area after raids, Israeli Defense Force said. Israeli army has released chilling video of six captive Hamas terrorists confessing on camera that they were instructed to kill and kidnap civilians, including elderly, women and children. One of the captive Hamas terrorist disclosed that “whosoever brings a hostage back to Gaza will get $10,000 and an apartment.” In the video, the Hamas operatives gave chilling accounts of how the attacks on October 7 morning was carried out on Israeli settlements. One captive Hamas terrorist confessed that when he shot a dead woman lying on the floor, his commander scolded him for using bullets on a dead body. Another terrorist confessed that the women, children and elderly were taken hostages in order to use them as human shields. Another Hamas terrorist disclosed that he saw two attackers taking an old woman aged 60-65 years as hostage on a motorbike to Gaza. The captive Hamas terrorists also revealed how they used gas to smoke out civilians who were hiding in shelters, and they did not even spare pets. At the end of each confession, the Hamas terrorists were asked whether Islam taught killing women and children, and all of them answered: ‘No’. All these interrogations were done on camera by Israeli security agency Shin Bet. In another video, a Hamas terrorist is shown speaking to his father on phone and claiming that he killed 10 Israelis. His father congratulated him for this while praying for his safe return. Watching and listening to these confessions can shock any humane person. One can understand why Hamas terrorists entered Israel to carry out murder and mayhem, but because of their misadventures, the entire city of Gaza populated by Palestinians has now turned into rubble. The world is now divided into two camps, with one supporting Israel’s action against Hamas, and the other denouncing Israeli attacks on Gaza. Israel has amassed its troops near Gaza Strip and has deployed tanks, armoured vehicles and other missile batteries. Its army is awaiting orders to launch ground attacks. US has advised Israel to postpone its ground assault on Gaza strip, even as negotiations are under way for release of all American and Israeli hostages. The Israeli army is using this time to carefully assess the ground positions because Hamas has built a huge web of tunnels inside Gaza, and Israeli intelligence lacks detailed information about the tunnels. Any ground offensive in haste can be counter-productive. The second reason is geo-political. Even if Israel occupies Gaza, what next? After decimating Hamas, whom will Israel hand over the charge of Gaza? How and when will the Israeli army return after its work is over in Gaza? Israel knows that Gaza will forever continue to evoke sympathy among Palestinians and Muslims across the Islamic world and politically, it can prove costly if Israel continues with its occupation of Gaza. In Lebanon, the leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jehad and Hezbollah met on Wednesday but kept their talks under wraps. A Hamas spokesperson said, the fight for liberating Palestine will continue. At the United Nations Security Council, India’s Deputy Permanent Representative R. Ravindra took a balanced view. He voiced India’s deep concern over “the deteriorating security situation and large-scale loss of civilian lives in the ongoing conflict. The mounting humanitarian crisis is equally alarming.” India, he said, “has always supported a negotiated two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine issue, leading to the establishment of a sovereign, independent and viable state of Palestine, living within secure and recognized borders, side by side in peace with Israel, taking into account the legitimate security concerns of Israel…We reiterate the need for an early resumption of direct peace negotiations.” India’s stand is both balanced and practical. I had said this earlier too that if Israel occupies Gaza, it would be difficult for it to keep it under its control. Already the US has advised Israel not to rush with its ground attack on Gaza. One thing is certain: war cannot go on forever. A way has to be found out. Israel has full right to take action against Hamas, but millions of people living in Gaza cannot be left to live in dire straits. India is therefore sending humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza and is appealing to Israel to practice restraint. The world has appreciated Prime Minister Modi’s stand. Muslim leaders in India, who were earlier criticizing Modi for standing up with Israel after the Hamas attacks, are now praising him for sending assistance to the people of Gaza.
मोदी का दशहरा संदेश : जातिवाद, क्षेत्रवाद से सतर्क रहें
देश भर में मंगलवार को रावण दहन हुआ. तमाम राष्ट्रीय स्तर के नेता दशहरा, विजयादशमी उत्सव में शरीक हुए. दिल्ली के द्वारका में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रावण दहन के मौके पर एक खास संदेश दिया. मोदी ने कहा, “आज़ादी के 75 साल बाद, अब भारत के भाग्य का उदय होने जा रहा है. लेकिन यही वह समय भी है, जब भारत को बहुत सतर्क रहना है. हमें ध्यान रखना है कि आज रावण का दहन बस एक पुतले का दहन न हो. ये दहन हो, हर उस विकृति का, जिसके कारण समाज का आपसी सौहार्द बिगड़ता है. ये दहन हो, उन शक्तियों का, जो जातिवाद और क्षेत्रवाद के नाम पर मां भारती को बांटने का प्रयास करती है. ये दहन हो, उस विचार का, जिसमें भारत का विकास, नहीं, स्वार्थ की सिद्धि निहित है.” चूंकि माहौल राममय था, इसलिए मोदी ने सबसे पहले अयोध्या में बन रहे भव्य राम मंदिर की बात की. मोदी ने कहा, आज हमें सौभाग्य मिला है कि हम भगवान राम का भव्यतम मंदिर बनता देख पा रहे हैं. अयोध्या की अगली रामनवमी पर रामलला के मंदिर में गूंजा हर स्वर, पूरे विश्व को हर्षित करने वाला होगा. वह स्वर, जो शताब्दियों से यहां कहा जाता ैहै – “भए प्रगट कृपाला, दीनदयाला..कौसल्या हितकारी”. भगवान राम की जन्मभूमि पर बना रहा मंदिर सदियों की प्रतीक्षा के बाद हम भारतीयों के धैर्य को मिली विजय का प्रतीक है. राम मंदिर में भगवान राम के विराजने को बस कुछ महीने बचे हैं…उस हर्ष की परिकल्पना कीजिए, जब शताब्दियों के बाद राम मंदिर में भगवान राम की प्रतिमा विराजेगी. .. तुलसी बाबा रामचरित मानस में लिखते हैं – ‘सगुन होहिं सुंदर सकल मन प्रसन्न सब केर, प्रभु आगवन जनाव जनु नगर रम्य चहुं फेर’, यानि जब भगवान राम का आगमन होने ही वाला था तो पूरी अयोध्या में शगुन होने लगे. जब सभी का मन प्रसन्न होने लगा. पूरा नगर रमणीक बन गया. ऐसे ही शगुन आज हो रहे हैं. आज भारत चंद्रमा पर विजयी हुआ है. हम दुनिया की तीसरी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनने जा रहे हैं. हमने कुछ सप्ताह पहले संसद की नयी इमारत में प्रवेश किया है. नारी शक्ति को प्रतिनिधित्व देने के लिए संसद ने नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम पारित किया है.” मोदी ने विजयादशमी पर प्रत्येक देशवासी से 10 संकल्प लेने का आग्रह किया. इन 10 संकल्पों में – पानी बचाना, डिजिटल लेनदेन को प्राथमिकता देना, स्वच्छता, स्वदेशी वस्तुओं का प्रयोग, अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली वस्तुओं का निर्माण, पूरे भारत का परिभ्रमण करने के बाद ही विदेश यात्रा, प्राकृतिक कृषि पर ज़ोर, सुपरफूड मिलेट्स का इस्तेमाल, योग और फिटनेस पर ज़ोर और कम से कम एक गरीब परिवार के घर का सदस्य बन कर उसके सामाजिक स्तर में वृद्धि. मोदी ने राम राज्य की अवधारणा भी समझायी. कहा, एक विकसित भारत, जो आत्मनिर्भर हो, विश्व शांति का संदेश दे, जहां सबको अपने सपने पूरे करने का समान अधिकार हो, जहां लोगों को समृद्धि और संतुष्टि का भाव दिखे, यही राम राज्य की परिकल्पना है . जो बात मोदी ने कही, तकरीबन उसी तरह का संदेश अलग शब्दों में सुबह नागपुर में RSS प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने विजयादशमी कार्यक्रम में दिया. मोहन भागवत ने कहा कि अब वक्त आ गया है कि भारत दुनिया को अपनी प्राचीन संस्कृति, दर्शन और परंपराओं की शक्ति से परिचित कराए, भारत तमाम तरह के संघर्षों से जूझ रही दुनिया को रास्ता दिखाए. RSS प्रमुख ने कहा कि भारत की संस्कृति सबको जोड़ने वाली है, सबको साथ लेकर चलने वाली है और प्रभु राम हमारे आदर्श हैं. भागवत ने कहा कि सदियों के संघर्ष के बाद अब शान्ति का समय है, ये सौभाग्य की बात है कि देश के अमृतकाल में श्रीराम के भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण भी पूरा हो रहा है. 22 जनवरी को जब अयोध्या में रामलला मंदिर में विराजमान होंगे, उस वक्त हर घर में उत्सव होना चाहिए. समाज के सभी लोगों को मिलकर पूरे देश का माहौल राम मय बनाना चाहिए. भागवत ने लोगों को सावधान भी किया. कहा, कि हमारे देश में कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो देश को आगे बढ़ते हुए नहीं देखना चाहते, भारत की प्रगति को रोकने के लिए लोगों को मजहब और जाति के आधार पर बांटने की कोशिश की जा रही है. भागवत ने कहा कि इस वक्त ज्यादा सचेत रहने की जरूरत है क्योंकि कुछ दिनों में विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं, उसके बाद लोकसभा चुनाव भी होंगे. गड़बड़ी फैलाने वाले इस मौके की ताक में हैं, लोगों को भड़काने की कोशिश की जाएगी, लेकिन हमें किसी बहकावे में नहीं आना है. मोहन भागवत ने दुनिया के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में चल रहे युद्धों का जिक्र किया. उन्होंने कहा कि दुनिया धार्मिक उन्माद से पैदा हुई कट्टरता और अहंकार की वजह से संकटों का सामना कर रही है, जहां भी युद्ध हो रहे हैं, सबके मूल में हितों का टकराव या फिर धार्मिक कट्टरता है. दुनिया के पास इस तरह के संघर्षों का समाधान नहीं है और पूरी दुनिया इस वक्त भारत से मार्गदर्शन की उम्मीद कर रही है. विजयादशमी के बहाने हमारे देश-दुनिया के माहौल की भी बात हुई, धर्म के नाम पर क्रूरता और बर्बता करने वालों की भी बात हुई. इन सभी बातों का मतलब समझने की जरुरत है. मोदी ने राम राज्य की बात की, मोहन भागवत ने शांति और संयम की बात की, धर्म के नाम पर फैलाए जा रहे उन्माद की निंदा की. कहा कि दुनिया की समस्याओं का समाधान भारत की विरासत में छुपा है, इसलिए पूरे विश्व के देश आज भारत से उम्मीद करते हैं कि वह दुनिया को रास्ता दिखाए. सबसे दिलचस्प बात ये है कि असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने भी मोदी से अपील की कि वो फिलिस्तीनियों की मदद के लिए इजरायल से बात करें. ओवैसी ने सुझाव दिया कि भारत पहल करे, गाज़ा में एक civilian corridor बनवाए ताकि लोगों को खाना पानी और दवाएं पहुंचाई जा सकें.. ये अच्छी बात है कि ओवैसी को भी लगता है कि भारत इसमें बड़ी भूमिका अदा कर सकता है लेकिन ओवैसी ने हमास की बर्बरता और क्रूरता के बारे में एक लफ्ज नहीं कहा. उनके मंच पर जितने नेता थे सबने इस्लाम की बात की, दुनिया भर के मुसलमानों से एक होने को कहा लेकिन किसी ने दीन के नाम पर हत्याएं करने वालों के बारे में कुछ नहीं कहा. दूसरी तरफ मोहन भागवत ने RSS के स्वयंसेवकों को नसीहत दी कि वो धार्मिक उन्माद से दूर रहें, मजहब और जाति के नाम पर बांटने वालों के बहकावे में न आएं. भागवत ने दुनिया के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में चल रही जंग का जिक्र किया और कहा कि सबकी जड़ में धार्मिक कट्टरवाद है. मुझे लगता है कि बदले माहौल में RSS ये संदेश दे सकता है तो ओवैसी और दूसरे मौलाना इस तरह की बात क्यों नहीं कहते. हम फिलिस्तीन की मदद करें, वहां के लोगों को खाना पानी पहुंचाएं, ये जरुरी है लेकिन धर्म के नाम पर कत्ल करने वालों, बलात्कार करने वालों और अगवा करने वालों की निंदा भी करें. यही वक्त का तकाज़ा है, यही भारत की संस्कृति है और दुनिया के तमाम बड़े मुल्क आज यही कह रहे हैं.
MODI ON DUSSEHRA : BEWARE OF CASTEISM AND REGIONALISM
As India celebrated Dussehra and Vijayadashami festival on Tuesday, top national leaders joined festivities by attending Ram Lila events, performed ‘shastra pooja’ and addressed huge gatherings of devotees. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a Dussehra celebration in Dwarka, Delhi, said, “we have to keep in mind today that this event is not just the burning of the effigy of demons, but it should symbolize the burning of every deformity which caused deterioration in social harmony. Let this be the burning of those forces which are trying to divide Mother India in the name of casteism and regionalism. This should be the burning of those ideas which propagate selfishness and not India’s progress.” Modi also spoke about the ongoing construction of Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, and described it as a “symbol of victory of patience of Indians after centuries of waiting”. He said, the next Ramnavami will be celebrated with religious fervour in the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya next year. Modi also asked every Indian to take 10 vows like saving water, promoting digital transactions, ensuring cleanliness, vocal for local products, making quality goods, explore India before visiting foreign locales, promote natural farming, adopt use of millets, practise fitness and and finally, raise the social status of at least one poor family. Hours earlier, in Nagpur, while addressing the traditional Vijayadashami rally, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat launched a scathing attack on what he called “cultural Marxists and woke people” describing them as self-centred, deceitful and discriminatory. These forces, Bhagwat said, are using their influence in academia and media to undermine India’s education and culture with the aim to disrupt social harmony and promote conflict. Bhagwat mentioned about next year’s Lok Sabha elections and asked people to choose, what he called, “the best available option” for ensuring national unity and stability, and “not to be swayed by provocations or fall prey to machinations of divisive elements”. The RSS chief also spoke about the ethnic violence in Manipur and alleged that “some elements are trying to spread hatred between Meitei and Kuki communities, which have been living peacefully for decades”. Bhagwat said, time has come for India to make the world aware about its centuries old culture, philosophy and traditions, and show the world the right path. “India’s culture”, Bhagwat said, “is inclusive, it takes everybody along, Lord Ram is our ideal, and the time has now come for ensuring world peace.” He asked all Indians to celebrate in homes and temples when the Ram Janmabhoomi temple will be consecrated in Ayodhya on January 22. Bhagwat also spoke about the conflicts going on in Ukraine, Israel and other places and said, “the world is facing crisis due to fundamentalism and ego caused by religious bigotry. In all these conflicts, the root cause is clash of interests and religious fundamentalism. The world has no solution to these conflicts and expects India to show the right way out.” The issues raised by Prime Minister Modi and RSS Chief Bhagwat in their speeches need to be pondered over carefully. Cruelty and barbarism in the name of religion must be condemned by all. Modi spoke about the true meaning of Ram Rajya, where all people live in peace. He also spoke about the joy of Indians when Chandrayaan landed on the Moon. Bhagwat also spoke about peace and patience, and condemned religious bigotry. He explained how India’s rich heritage holds the key to solution of some of the most vexing problems being faced across the world. There was another interesting development. At a pro-Palestine rally in Hyderabad, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to Prime Minister Modi to speak to Israel so that humanitarian assistance could be provided to Palestinians in war-torn Gaza. Owaisi suggested that India must take an initiative to create a civilian corridor so that innocent Palestinians can leave Gaza peacefully, and food, water, medicines could be sent to people trapped there. It is nice to hear Owaisi saying that India can play a big role in Israel-Hamas conflict, but the sad part is that Owaisi did not say a word about the cruelty and barbarity perpetrated by Hamas in Israel. All the Muslim leaders on the dais spoke about Islam, asked Muslims of the world to unite, but did not utter a word about barbaric murders committed in the name of religion. On the other hand, Bhagwat appealed to RSS volunteers to shun religious intolerance, and not to be swayed by those trying to divide people in the name of caste and religion. I think, RSS should send across a message appealing to Owaisi and other Muslim clerics not to remain silent on the massacres carried out by Hamas terrorists. India should help the Palestinians by sending food and medicines, but at the same time, it must condemn those indulging in massacres, gang rapes and kidnappings. This is the need of the hour. This is true Indian culture, and the big powers of the world will agree.

इजराइल ने हमास की हैवानियत के रौंगटे खड़े करने वाले खुलासे किए. इजराइली डिफेंस फोर्स ने दावा किया कि हमास, अल कायदा, ISIS और हिजबुल्लाह ये सारे आतंकवादी संगठन मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं. अलकायदा ने हमास को रासायनिक हथियार बनाने और इस्तेमाल करने की ट्रेनिंग दी है. 7 अक्टूबर के हमले में हमसा के आतंकी कैमिकल हथियार बनाने के सामान लेकर घुसे थे. इजराइली सेना ने दावा किया है कि अब तक एक्शन में हमास के एक हजार से ज्यादा दहशतगर्द या तो मारे जा चुके हैं या फिर इजराइली सेना के कब्जे में हैं. हमास के कब्जे में 222 लोग बंधक हैं. इनमें से इजराइली नागरिकों के अलावा कई विदेश नागरिक भी हैं.. इजराइल का कहना है कि अब तक हमास के ठिकानों पर कुल तीन सौ हवाई हमले किये गए हैं. अब किसी भी वक्त इजराइल गाजा पर ज़मीनी हमला शुरू कर सकता है. बड़ी बात ये है कि लेबनान और सीरिया से हिजबुल्ला के आतंकवादी इजराइल पर हमले कर रहे थे, इसलिए पिछले चौबीस घंटं में इजराइली फोर्स ने सीरिया और लेबनान में भी हिजबुल्ला के ठिकानों पर मिलाइलें दागीं हैं. हालांकि गाजा में आम लोगों की मुश्किलों को कम करने के लिए दुनिया भर से राहत सामग्री भेजी जा रही है. भारत की तरफ से साढ़े छह मीट्रिक टन दवाएं भेजी गईं हैं . अमेरिका, रूस, चीन, खाड़ी के देश और यूरोपियन यूनियन की तरफ से गाजा में मदद भेजी गई है. लेकिन इजराइल ने इसका विरोध किया है. इजराइली सेना का कहना है कि हमास दुनिया भर से भेजी गई मदद को आम लोगों तक नहीं पहुंचने देगा. इस सामान के इस्तेमाल से हमास मजबूत होगा, ये खतरनाक है. इजराइल ने कहा कि दुनिया भर को हमास की दारिंदगी देखनी चाहिए. इजराइली फोर्स ने वो वीडियो जारी किए जो इजराइल में घुसकर हमला करने वाले हमास के आतंकवादियों के बॉडी कैम से बरामद हुए हैं. कई वीडियो तो रूह कंपा देने वाले हैं, कुछ वीडियोज में महिलाओं, बुजर्गों और बच्चों की हत्या के बाद हमास के आतंकवादी ये कहते सुनाई दे रहे हैं कि उन्होंने दस इजराइलियों को मार दिया, अब आगे बढ़ रहे हैं. कुछ वीडियो में बच्चे और महिलाएं जान बचाने के लिए भाग रहे हैं, घर में टेबल कुर्सी या बैड के नीचे छुप रहे हैं और दहशतगर्द उन्हें खोजकर मारते हुए दिख रहे हैं. ज्यादातर वीडियो तो ऐसे हैं जिन्हें टीवी पर हम आपको दिखा भी नहीं सकते. जोो वीडियो दिखा रहे हैं, वो हमास की हैवानियत की इंतिहा को बताने के लिए काफी हैं. और ये वीडियो उन लोगों को जरूर देखने चाहिए, जो इजराइल का विरोध कर रहे हैं. तमाम तरह के तर्क देकर हमास की हिमायत कर रहे हैं. हमास की हैवानियत सिर्नफ हत्याओं तक नहीं रुकी. कई केस तो ऐसे थे जिसमें इन दरिंदों ने कार में बैठे लोगों को ज़िंदा जला दिया .ये तस्वीरें इतनी डरावनी हैं कि हम आपको बिना ब्लर किए नहीं दिखा सकते. किसी कार में पिछली सीट पर इंसानों को ज़िंदा जला दिया गया, तो किसी में ड्राइवर को. कार के साथ-साथ आम इजरायली को भी इतनी बुरी तरह जलाया गया कि उनकी पहचान तक नहीं हो सकी. सड़कों पर मौत का तांडव करने के बाद हमास के दहशतगर्द अंधाधुंध फायरिंग करते हुए गाज़ा बॉर्डर के आसपास बसे इजरायली रिहायशी इलाकों में गए. 7 अक्टूबर को यहूदियों का त्यौहार था. सुबह का वक्त था, लोग सोकर भी नहीं उठे थे और हमास के हैवानों ने हमला कर दिया. आतंकवादियों के पास हैंड हेल्ड रॉकेट ल़ॉन्चर थे, ऑटोमैटिक राइफल्स थी, .हैंड ग्रेनड थे. पहले घरों में लगे सीसीटीवी तोड़े गए, फिर फायरिंग की गई, दरवाजे तोड़े गए, घरों में मौजूद सभी इंसानों को मौत के घाट उतारा गया, उसके बाद पूरा घर रॉकेट से उड़ा दिया. इज़राइल के जिस किबुत्ज़ (बस्ती) में हमास के आतंकवादियों ने सबसे पहले हमला किया था, वहां अब जिंदगी का नामोनिशान भी नहीं है. इजराइली फौज के प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि 7 अक्टूबर को हुआ हमला किसी छोटे गुटा के मुट्ठी भर लोगों का हमला नहीं था. ये प्रशिक्षित आतंकवादियों का पूरी तैयारी के साथ किया गया सैन्य हमला था, जिसमें जल, थल, नभ का इस्तेमाल हुआ. इसलिए इस हमले का जवाब भी उसी ताकत और शिद्दत के साथ दिया जा रहा है और इजराइली फोर्स हमास के खात्मा किए बग़ैर नहीं रुकेगी. इज़राइल के राष्ट्रपति आइज़ैक हर्त्ज़ोर्ग ने कहा है कि हमास के आतंकवादियों के पास अल क़ायदा के मैन्युअल मिले है जिसमें उन्हें रासायनिक हथियार बनाने का तरीक़ा बताया गया है. इज़राइल के राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि ग़ज़ा में हमास के पास केमिकल हथियारों का ज़ख़ीरा हो सकता है. हमास ने अभी इज़राइल और दूसरे देशों के 222 से ज़्यादा लोगों को बंधक बना रखा है. वो कहां हैं उनका पता लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है. इन बंधकों के समर्थन में कई देशों में प्रोटेस्ट हुए, वहीं, ग़ज़ा पट्टी में इज़राइल की बमबारी से आम नागरिकों की मौत के ख़िलाफ़ भी कई देशों में विरोध प्रदर्शन हुए . भारत में भी कुछ संगठनों ने इज़राइल के दूतावास के बाहर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया. इजराइली सेना के अधिकारी का कहना है कि हमास के क़रीब एक हज़ार बंधक और मारे गए आतंकवादी उनके क़ब्ज़े में हैं, उनसे पूछताछ हुई है, उनकी शिनाख़्त हो चुकी है और इजराइली खुफिया एजेंसियां, बंधकों के बारे में पता लगा रही हैं. इजराइल ने एक हज़ार आतंकवादियों और उनके शवों को बरामद कर लिया है. अब तक इजराइल के 308 सैनिक मारे गए हैं और 222 लोग बंधक हैं. इजराइल का कहना है कि हमास, हिज़्बुल्लाह, अल कायदा और इस्लामिक स्टेट के आतंकवादियों ने मिल कर हमलों को अंजाम दिया. भारत में जो लोग हमास का समर्थन कर रहे हैं, उनको सऊदी अरब के प्रिंस की बात सुननी चाहिए. सऊदी अरब के प्रिंस तुर्की अल फ़ैसल, सीनियर डिप्लोमैट हैं, सऊदी अरब की इंटेलिजेंस एजेंसी के चीफ रहे हैं. उन्होंने इज़राइल पर हमास के हमले की कड़ी निंदा की..सउदी प्रिंस ने कहा कि हमास की हरकत के कारण लाखों फिलस्तीनी मुसीबत झेल रहे हैं. जहां तक आजादी की जंग का सवाल है तो हमास को भारत से सीखना चाहिए, जिसने अहिंसा के दम पर अंग्रेज़ों से आज़ादी हासिल की. सउदी प्रिंस की ये बात सही है कि हमास ने जिस तरह से इजराइल पर हमला किया, उसकी बजह से इजराइल को गाजा में ज़बरदस्त हमला का रास्ता मिला. अब तक पूरी दुनिया इजराइली फौज के बाहदुरी और उसकी इंटैलीजेंस एजेंसी मोसाद की काबलियत की मिसाल देती थी लेकिन हमास के हमले दोनों की छवि मिट्टी में मिल गई. इसलिए बेंजामिन नेतान्य़ाहू ज्यादा परेशान हैं, अब इजराइली फौज के हमले अपनी पुरानी साख को वापस लौटाने की कोसिश है और इसके चक्कर में फिलस्तीन के आम नागरिकों पर मुसीबतों के बम फूट रहे हैं. जहां तक फिलस्तीन के समर्थन में हमारे देश में हो रहे प्रदर्शनों का सवाल है तो ये समझना जरूरी है कि इंडोनेशिया के बाद भारत में मुसलमानों की आबादी सबसे ज्यादा है. इसके बाद भी देश के ज्यादातर मुस्लिम ये समझ रहे हैं कि भारत ने आतंकवाद के खिलाफ इजराइली फौज के एक्शन का समर्थन किया है. फिलस्तीन के आम लोगों पर हमलों का समर्थन नहीं किया है. भारत सरकार ने युद्ध में फंसे फिलस्तीन के लोगों के लिए राहत सामग्री भेजी है, इसीलिए आम मुसलमानों ने भारत सरकार के रुख का विरोध नहीं किया है, लेकिन कुछ संगठन और कुछ नेता मुसलमानों को भड़काने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. इस मुद्दे पर सियासत कर रहे हैं, लेकिन अब तक उन्हें अपने मकसद में कोई खास कामयाबी नहीं मिली है.
HAND IN GLOVE: HAMAS, ISIS, AL QAEDA AND HEZBOLLAH
Israeli army on Monday showed to members of the foreign press, nearly 43 minutes of horrific footage of massacre, torture and decapitation of human bodies carried out by Hamas terrorists in southern Israel on October 7. Over 1,400 Israelis and others were killed in the blitz carried out by Hamas terrorists. Most of the videos were shot by terrorists themselves with their bodycams. An Israeli defense spokesperson said, this footage is being distributed to dispel doubts being raised about some of the most horrific atrocities committed by Hamas on that fateful day. The spokesperson said, the footage was collected from call recordings, security cameras, body cameras used by Hamas terrorists, dashboard cameras from the cars of victims, social media accounts and cellphone videos taken by the murderers, first responders and some victims. On that day, more than 1,000 civilians were slaughtered and more than 224 people were abducted by Hamas. The footage showed, Hamas terrorists dressed in Israeli army uniforms, stopping passing vehicles and shooting the occupants. In the footage, dead bodies were shown dragged out of vehicles, left on the road after the murderers went through their belongings and then the killers took away the blood-soaked, bullet-ridden vehicles. One of the videos shows an arrested Hamas terrorist, admitting during interrogation that they had orders to kill everyone they saw, and these included beheading of victims and cutting off their legs. He said, they were also ordered to even rape the corpse of a girl. Israeli Defense Force spokesperson claimed that Hamas is working in tandem with ISIS, Hezbollah and Al Qaeda. On October 7, he said, the terrorists had brought chemical weapons with them to carry out attacks. Hamas terrorists entered Israel through 30 points on Gaza border simultaneously and started attacking vehicles and kibbutz. The terrorists set fire to people sitting inside vehicles, and then entered residential areas near Gaza border. Since that day was a Jewish holiday, people were hardly awake in the morning when the murderers forcibly entered their homes. They were armed with rocket launchers, automatic rifles and hand grenades. They first broke cctv cameras, doors and windows, and went on a murderous spree. They blew up the homes with rockets. The Israeli army spokesperson said the simultaneous attack was not by a handful of terrorists, it was a military attack by land, sea and air (through gliders) by well-trained terrorists. The Israeli army, he said, is now responding to the murderous attacks with the same intensity and it will not stop until Hamas is decimated. Till now, more than 300 air strikes have been carried out by Israel on Hamas’ positions and a ground attack can take place any time in Gaza. In the last 24 hours, Israeli forces fired missiles at Hezbollah positions inside Syria and Lebanon. Several countries, including India, US, Russia, China, Gulf countries and European Union have sent tonnes of relief material for the Palestinians living in Gaza, but Israel has opposed sending of relief material saying that Hamas will not allow these to reach the ordinary Palestinians. The other important disclosure made by the Israeli army is that the quantity of weapons seized from Hamas clearly show that ISIS terrorists took part in the Hamas’ raids. Manuals on how to carry out sudden raids and ISIS flags were seized from dead or arrested Hamas terrorists. The attackers had divided their operation into three stages. The terrorists were asked to keep sufficient amount of food and water with them, keep the hostages in secure locations and shoot them, if required. They were instructed not to speak on wireless for fear of intercepts, and leave the bargaining for release of hostages to the political leadership. The entire modus operandi, Israeli Defense Force said, was modelled on ISIS one. While US and Western countries have lent their full support to Israel, there have been protests in India and several Islamic countries in support of Hamas. Those supporting Hamas in India should watch what former Saudi intelligence chief Turki Al Faisal Al Saud has said. The Saudi prince, a senior diplomat has condemned the massacres carried out by Hamas and pointed out that it was because of the attacks by Hamas that lakhs of Palestinians in Gaza are now suffering. As far as the fight for freedom of Palestine is concerned, he said, Hamas should learn from India, which forced the British colonial rulers to leave by using the weapon of non-violence. The Saudi prince is right when he says that the murderous attacks by Hamas on October 7 gave Israel a valid excuse to carry out an all-out attack on Gaza. The entire world once used to praise the daring capability of Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the valor of its armed forces, but the Hamas attacks have dented this image. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is worried. He is trying his best to shore up the morale of his troops. Lakhs of common Palestinians living in Gaza are now facing the brunt of daily missile attacks. India has the second largest Muslim population after Indonesia. Most of the Muslims in India normally support the Palestine cause, but after the Hamas’ terrorist attacks, they have realized why India has supported Israeli action against the terrorists. Indian government has also sent several tonnes of relief material for Palestinians living in Gaza. The common Indian Muslims have not opposed Indian government’s stand, but there are organizations in our country which are trying to mislead the Indian Muslims. They have narrow political objectives, but they have not been able to achieve success in their aims. Time has come for all right-thinking forces to join hands to crush the terror outfits, whether they belong to Hamas, ISIS, Al Qaeda or Hezbollah.
