केजरीवाल का जेल से निकलना अब मुश्किल होगा
दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने मंगलवार को शराब घोटाले में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी को कानूनी तौर पर सही करार दिया. गिरफ्तारी को चुनौती देने वाली केजरीवाल की अर्जी को खारिज कर दिया. हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए ED के पास पर्याप्त आधार हैं. कोर्ट ने ED की तरफ से पेश किए गए जो सबूत, गवाहों के बयान और जांच रिपोर्ट देखी है, उसके हिसाब से केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार करना सही था. कोर्ट ने यहां तक कह दिया कि चुनाव का वक्त है, आरोपी मुख्यमंत्री हैं, किसी पार्टी का मुखिया है, इन सब बातों से कोर्ट को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता. कोर्ट कानून के हिसाब से काम करता है, राजनीति से कोर्ट प्रभावित नहीं होता. बड़ी बात ये है कि तीन हफ्ते से आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता जो तर्क देकर केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी को चुनाव से जोड रहे थे, उन सबको एक-एक करके कोर्ट ने धराशायी कर दिया. कोर्ट के फैसले से आम आदमी पार्टी के नेताओं को ज़बरदस्त धक्का लगा है. जो ये नैरेटिव खड़ा करने की कोशिश कर रहे थे कि शराब घोटाला हुआ ही नहीं, सबूत फर्जी है, गवाहों के बयान फर्जी है, ये सिर्फ आम आदमी पार्टी को खत्म करने कि लिए, केजरीवाल को चुनाव से दूर रखने के लिए, केन्द्र सरकार के इशारे पर बनाई गई ED की कहानी है, उनके तर्क ध्वस्त हो गए. गिरफ़्तारी को गैरक़ानूनी बताकर चुनौती देने वाली केजरीवाल की अर्जी पर जस्टिस स्वर्णकांता शर्मा की सिंगल बेंच में सुनवाई पिछले हफ्ते ही पूरी हो चुकी थी. मंगलवार को फैसला आया, काफी विस्तार से फैसला है. केजरीवाल की तरफ से जो तर्क दिए गए थे, सबका जवाब हाई कोर्ट के फैसले में है. केजरीवाल का कहना था कि चुनाव से पहले गिरफ्तारी की गई है, इसलिए राजनीतिक है. कोर्ट ने कहा कि जांच एजेंसियों को इससे मतलब नहीं होता कि चुनाव है या नहीं, कोर्ट क़ानून के हिसाब से काम करता है. केजरीवाल ने ED के समन की अनदेखी की, जांच में सहयोग नहीं किया, केजरीवाल की वजह से दूसरे आरोपियों की न्यायिक हिरासत पर असर पड़ा. केजरीवाल का तर्क था कि वो दिल्ली के चुने हुए मुख्यमंत्री हैं, उन्हें इस तरह से बिना सबूत के गिरफ्तार करना गलत है. इस पर हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि क़ानून सबके लिए बराबर है – आम नागरिक हो या कोई मंत्री, मुख्यमंत्री. केजरीवाल का कहना था कि उनके खिलाफ सिर्फ गवाहों के कुछ बयानों के आधार पर मुकदमा बनाया गया, इन गवाहों के बयान भी जवाब डाल कर लिए गए, जिन लोगों ने केजरीवाल के खिलाफ बयान दिए, उन्हें ज़मानत दे दी गई, आरोपियों को सरकारी गवाह बनाकर बयान लिए गए. इस पर कोर्ट ने साफ कहा कि किसे सरकारी गवाह बनाना है या नहीं, उसे माफी देनी है या नहीं, ये फैसला कोर्ट का होता है, ED का नहीं. गवाहों के बयान मजिस्ट्रेट के सामने होते हैं, इसलिए गवाहों के बयानों पर सवाल उठाना कोर्ट के काम पर सवाल उठाने जैसा है. जहां तक गवाहों के बयानों की विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल है, तो ये ट्रायल के दौरान परखा जाएगा, ये काम ट्रायल कोर्ट का है, इसमें फिलहाल हाईकोर्ट कोई दखल नहीं देगा. केजरीवाल का तर्क था कि सैकड़ों करोड़ के घोटाले की बात की जा रही है, लेकिन ढाई साल में ED एक चवन्नी भी बरामद नहीं कर पाई है. इस पर कोर्ट ने कहा कि ED ने जो सबूत पेश किए हैं, वो केस चलाने के लिए पर्याप्त हैं. जहां तक पैसे की बरामदगी या मनी ट्रेल का सवाल है तो गोवा में आम आदमी पार्टी के उम्मीदवारों के बयान ED ने कोर्ट के सामने रखे हैं, जिनसे साफ हो जाता है कि चुनाव के वक्त उम्मीदवारों को नकद में पैसा दिया गया. केजरीवाल की तरफ से कहा गया कि इस मामले में ED उन्हें मुख्य आरोपी बता रही है, लेकिन कोई सबूत नहीं है. इस पर कोर्ट ने कहा कि घोटाले का पैसा आम आदमी पार्टी को मिला, केजरीवाल आम आदमी पार्टी के संयोजक हैं, दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री हैं, आबकारी शराब नीति उन्होंने बनाई और हितग्राही उनकी पार्टी है. कोर्ट ने कहा कि ED ने जो तथ्य और दस्तावेज पेश किए हैं, उससे लगता है कि केजरीवाल इस मामले में पूरी तरह सक्रिय थे, इसलिए मामला तो बनता है. केजरीवाल के केस में हाई कोर्ट का फैसला देखने के बाद लगता है कि उनका जेल से निकलना अब मुश्किल होगा. केजरीवाल को लंबे समय तक जेल में रहना पड़ सकता है क्योंकि हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि केजरीवाल शराब घोटाले में लिप्त हैं, उन्होंने रिश्वत ली और रिश्वत के पैसे का इस्तेमाल गोवा में चुनाव के लिए किया. अब केजरीवाल की पार्टी के नेता इस मामले को राजनीति से प्रेरित नहीं बता पाएंगे. ये नहीं कह पाएंगे कि ED ने फर्जी केस तैयार किया है, गवाहों पर प्रैशर डालकर बयान दिलवाए हैं, कोई पैसा बरामद नहीं हुआ, कोई सबूत नहीं हैं, केजरीवाल का इसमें कोई रोल नहीं हैं, केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी उन्हें चुनाव से दूर रखने के लिए की गई है. इन सारी बातों को हाई कोर्ट ने गलत बता दिया. हाई कोर्ट ने कह दिया कि इस मामले में केजरीवाल सक्रिय रूप से संलिप्त थे, और हितग्राही आम आदमी पार्टी थी. इसका मतलब ये है कि आम आदमी पार्टी की मान्यता पर भी मुसीबत आ सकती है. ये सही है कि अपराधी कौन, इसका फैसला तो ट्रायल कोर्ट से आएगा. तब पता चलेगा कि कौन भ्रष्ट है? कौन नहीं ? पर ये मामला सिर्फ एक अपराध का नहीं है. ये एक राजनीतिक पार्टी से, एक सरकार से जुड़ा है, एक ऐसे नेता से जुड़ा है जो अपने आप को एक वैकल्पिक नेता के तौर पर प्रोजेक्ट करता रहा है. इसीलिए मुझे लगता है कि केजरीवाल ने इस केस को पहले दिन से ही ठीक से हैंडल नहीं किया. जब केजरीवाल को पहला समन मिला, तो उन्हें सीना तान कर ED के सामने जाना चाहिए था. वह भी अगर शरद पवार की तरह कहते कि मैं ED का सामना करूंगा, मैं किसी जांच से नहीं डरता तो शायद एजेंसी भी एक बार सोचती. लेकिन केजरवाल हर बार ED के समन के जवाब में love letter लिखते रहे. नौ-नौ बार ED के बुलाने पर नहीं गए, उनके न जाने से ये इंप्रेशन बना कि दाल में कुछ काला है, लगा केजरीवाल ED का सामना करने से डरते हैं. केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के बाद भी आम आदमी पार्टी आक्रामक रही, पूरे केस को फर्जी बताया, कहा, एक भी पैसा कहीं नहीं मिला, गवाहों ने बीजेपी से डरकर बयान दिए लेकिन हाईकोर्ट के फैसले ने इन सारी बातों पर पानी फेर दिया. आम आदमी पार्टी का तर्क था कि ये सारे आरोप इकबालिया गवाहों के बयानों के आधार पर लगाए गए थे और ये इकबालिया गवाह बीजेपी से मिले हुए हैं. लेकिन हाईकोर्ट ने उन गवाहों के इकबालिया बनने की प्रक्रिया को सही वैध प्रक्रिया माना, उनकी गवाही को सही माना. अब एक ही तर्क बचा है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट, हाईकोर्ट के इस फैसले को पलट देगा, जैसा संजय सिंह के केस में हुआ. लेकिन संजय सिंह के केस में हाईकोर्ट ने टिप्पणियां की थी, केजरीवाल के केस में जो कहा गया वो फैसले का हिस्सा है. इसीलिए मैंने शुरु में कहा कि केजरीवाल का जेल से निकलना अब आसान नहीं होगा.
DELHI HC VERDICT : EARLY RELEASE OF KEJRIWAL FROM JAIL MAY NOT BE EASY
Day after the Delhi High Court rejected Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition challenging his arrest, his advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi appealed to the Chief Justice of India for an early hearing of his petition challenging the HC verdict. The CJI, on Wednesday, promised “to look into it”. On Tuesday, Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma of Delhi HC in a 106-page judgment noted that the Enforcement Directorate had sufficient evidence “at this stage which points out towards the guilt” of Kejriwal for the commission of offence of money laundering in the Delhi excise policy case. The High Court said, “he is allegedly involved in two capacities – in his personal capacity as he was involved in the formulation of the policy and in demanding kickbacks; And as the national convenor of AAP… for the use of the proceeds of crime.” Justice Sharma noted that Kejriwal skipped nine summons and his non-cooperation impacted the progress of the probe and necessitated his arrest. The High Court verdict clearly said, “Kejriwal had allegedly conspired with other persons and was involved in the formulation of Delhi excise policy 2021-22, in the process of demanding kickbacks from the South Group, as well as in generation, use and concealment of proceeds of crime.” The judge said that there was prima facie evidence to suggest that Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party received kickbacks up to Rs 100 crore from the South liquor lobby, and that a portion of this, nearly Rs 45 crore, was used by the party during the Goa assembly elections in 2022. The verdict said, “It emerges from the records produced before this court, i.e. the statements of witnesses recorded by the Directorate of Enforcement, including the hawala operators as well as survey workers, area managers, assembly managers etc engaged by AAP, corroborated with CDR analysis and material seized during IT raids, that amount of Rs 45 crore, which is allegedly the proceeds of crime in this case, was utilised by AAP in the Goa elections.” Rejecting the plea against the arrest on the eve of general elections, the High Court said, “Political considerations and equations cannot be brought to court of law as it is irrelevant….Judges are bound by law and not by political considerations.” On Wednesday, BJP supporters staged protest in Delhi demanding early resignation of Arvind Kejriwal as chief minister. After going through the lengthy verdict of Delhi High Court, it appears that Kejriwal’s early release from Tihar jail may be difficult. He may have to stay inside jail for a longer period, because the High Court verdict clearly says that Kejriwal was involved in the liquor scam and his party took kickbacks and used the money in Goa elections. Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party leaders can no more say that this case is politically motivated. They cannot claim that ED has prepared a fake case and has taken statements from witnesses under duress, and that since no money has been recovered, nor any concrete evidence of Kejriwal’s role has been recovered, his arrest was made with the sole aim of keeping him away from elections. The High Court on Tuesday rejected all such insinuations. The High Court clearly said that Kejriwal was “actively involved” in the matter and the beneficiary was Aam Aadmi Party. This means, the recognition given to AAP by Election Commission of India as a national political party can now be questioned. It is true that the trial court will finally decide who committed the crime, whether any person was corrupt or not, but this is not the case of a single crime. It is connected to a political party, a government, and a leader, who was trying to project himself as a national alternative. I feel Kejriwal did not handle this case properly right from Day One when he got the first summons from ED. He should have shown courage and presented himself before the ED. He could have told ED, like NCP chief Sharad Pawar that he was prepared to face questioning and that he was not afraid of any probe. In that case, the investigating agency could have given a second thought before arresting him. But Kejriwal challenged each summons by sending ‘love letters’ to ED questioning its locus standi. He evaded the summons nine times, and his evasion gave the impression that something is fishy (daal me kuch kaala hai). The impression went around that Kejriwal was afraid of facing the ED. Aam Aadmi Party remained on the offensive from the day Kejriwal was arrested. The party described the entire case as fake, claimed that not a single paisa was recovered and that the witnesses gave statements under duress fearing BJP. Tuesday’s High Court verdict has rubbished all such insinuations. Aam Aadmi Party’s argument was that all the allegations were made by witnesses who later turned approvers, and that these approvers were hand in gloves with the BJP. The High Court on Tuesday said, the turning of witnesses as approvers was a correct legal process, and their statements were accepted. The only last resort left for Kejriwal is the Supreme Court. The apex court had released Sanjay Singh in this case. One must differentiate between the two. In Sanjay Singh’s case the High Court had only made observations, while in Kejriwal’s case, the High Court gave its judgment. That is why, I have said, early release from jail for Kejriwal may not be easy.
मोदी पाकिस्तान को उसी की भाषा में जवाब दे रहे हैं
ब्रिटेन के अखबार ‘दि गार्डियन’ ने दावा किया है कि पुलवामा आतंकी हमले के बाद नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार ने नीति बदल दी है. मोदी सरकार ने एजेंसियों को भारत के बाहर दूसरे देशों में बैठे आतंकवादियों को, हिन्दुस्तान के दुश्मनों को खामोशी से खत्म करने की खुली छूट दे दी है. ‘द गार्डियन’ का दावा है कि मोदी सरकार की इसी नीति का नतीजा है कि पुलवामा हमले के बाद अब तक बीस बड़े आतंकवादी पिछले दो साल में पाकिस्तान में मारे जा चुके हैं – किसी को अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने गोली मार दी, किसी को जेल में ज़हर खिला दिया गया, कोई घर में मरा पाया गया. द गार्डियन ने एक लंबी चौड़ी रिपोर्ट छापी है जिसकी सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा पाकिस्तान में हो रही है. इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि पुलवामा अटैक के बाद मोदी सरकार दूसरे देशों में घुसकर अपने दुश्मनों का सफ़ाया करवा रही है, आतंकवादियों को चुन-चुनकर मारा जा रहा है. और इस रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक़, भारत के एजेंट्स ने पिछले चार सालों में पाकिस्तान, ब्रिटेन और कनाडा में भारत के दुश्मनों का ख़ात्मा किया है. दि गार्डियन का दावा है कि उसके रिपोर्टर्स ने तहक़ीक़ात की है, भारत के रिटायर्ड RAW अफसरों से बात की है, पाकिस्तानी इंटेलिजेंस एजेंसी ISI के अफसरों से कन्फर्म किया है, उसके बाद ही ये रिपोर्ट तैयार की गई है. इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि 2020 से अब तक भारत की ख़ुफ़िया एजेंसी रॉ ने पाकिस्तान में 20 सीक्रेट मिशन को अंजाम दिया है और, भारत के दुश्मन बने 20 दहशतगर्दों का काम तमाम किया है. दि गार्डियन की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक़, रिसर्च ऐंड एनालिसिस विंग के एजेंट, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, मॉरिशस और नेपाल में बैठकर इस तरह की हत्याओं को अंजाम दे रहे हैं. पाकिस्तान में जो बीस दशतगर्द मारे गए हैं उनमें लश्कर-ए-तैयबा, हिजबुल-मुजाहिदीन और खालिस्तान कमांडो फोर्स के आतंकवादी शामिल हैं. इनमें लश्कर-ए-तैयबा के शाहिद लतीफ़, ज़ाहिद अख़ुंद, रियाज़ अहमद, हिज़बुल मुजाहिदीन के बशीर अहमद पीर, और सलीम अहमद रहमानी के अलावा, खालिस्तानी आतंकवादी परमजीत सिंह पंजवड़… के नाम शामिल हैं… ये सारे आतंकवादी, भारत विरोधी अभियान में शामिल रहे थे. लश्कर आतंकवादी शाहिद लतीफ़, 2016 में पठानकोट के एयरबेस पर हुए हमले का मास्टरमाइंड था. ज़ाहिद अखुंद 1999 के कंधार प्लेन हाईजैक में शामिल था. पाकिस्तान में इन सबकी अज्ञात लोगों ने हत्या कर दी. शाहिद लतीफ़ को पाकिस्तानी पंजाब के सियालकोट सूबे में एक 20 साल के पाकिस्तानी युवक ने मारा. पंजाब सूबे की पुलिस ने उसे गिरफ्तार भी किया था. एक और लश्कर आतंकवादी की हत्या 2022 में कराची में की गई थी. उसे अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के नागरिकों ने गोली मारी थी. जैसे ही द गार्डियन में ये रिपोर्ट छपी तो पूरे पाकिस्तान में इस रिपोर्ट का हवाला देकर भारत पर इल्जाम लगने लगे और पाकिस्तानी मीडिया ने अपनी सरकार से जवाब मांगना शुरू कर दिया. पाकिस्तान की फौज और सरकार से सवाल पूछे जा रहे हैं लेकिन न फौज की तरफ से कोई बयान आया, न ISI की तरफ से और न पाकिस्तान की सरकार की तरफ से. लेकिन पाकिस्तान के ज्यादातर पत्रकार और मीडिया बार बार ये दावा कर रहे हैं कि इन आतंकवादियों की मौत के पीछे भारत का हाथ है और इसके पीछे वो ये तर्क दे रहे हैं कि भारत ये काम सिर्फ पाकिस्तान में नहीं कर रहा है, ऐसी घटना तो कनाडा में भी हुई, अमेरिका और ब्रिटेन में भी हुई हैं. हालांकि पाकिस्तान के कुछ पत्रकारों का ये कहना है कि बिना सुबूत के, भारत पर इल्ज़ाम लगाना ठीक नहीं है. इन लोगों का कहना है कि ISI के जिन अधिकारियों का हवाला गार्डियन ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में दिया है, उनको सामने आकर मुल्क को हक़ीक़त बतानी चाहिए. पाकिस्तान में फ़ौज के क़रीबी माने जाने वाले पत्रकार बड़े विश्वास के साथ ये कह रहे हैं कि ये नरेंद्र मोदी हुकूमत की नई पॉलिसी है, जो राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजित डोभाल के निर्देशन में अंजाम दी जा रही है. पाकिस्तान से लेकर अमेरिका और कनाडा तक, भारत के दुश्मन आतंकवादियों की हत्या की ये पॉलिसी 2019 में शुरू हुई. हालांकि, भारत ने दो टूक लफ़्ज़ों में कहा है कि दूसरे देश की धरती पर हत्याएं कराना उसकी नीति नहीं है. विदेश मंत्रालय ने दि गार्डियन की स्टोरी के जवाब में कहा है कि ये स्टोरी पूरी तरह से काल्पनिक है. विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर भी कह चुके हैं कि गैरकानूनन हत्याएं करवाना भारत की पॉलिसी नहीं है. हां, भारत ने पाकिस्तान में दो बार घुसकर हमला किया, आतंकवादियों को मारा लेकिन, जब भी भारत ने ऐसा किया तो सीना ठोककर उसे क़बूल भी किया और दुनिया को बताया कि भारत ने पाकिस्तान में घुसकर आतंकवादी ठिकाने तबाह किए हैं.पहली सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक भारत ने 2016 में उरी के आतंकवादी हमले के बाद POK में की थी. वहीं, 2019 के पुलवामा आतंकवादी हमले के बाद, भारत ने पाकिस्तान के बालाकोट में आतंकवादियों के अड्डों को बमबारी करके तबाह किया था. तब भारतीय वायु सेना के हमले में तीन सौ से ज़्यादा आतंकवादी मारे गए थे. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ख़ुद सार्वजनिक रूप से इन हमलों के बारे में देश की जनता को बताया था. शुक्रवार को मोदी राजस्थान में थे. उन्होंने चूरू में एक चुनावी जनसभा में फिर कहा कि आज का भारत, आतंकवादियों को घर में घुसकर मारता है. ऐसे मामलों के सुबूत नहीं मिलते, लेकिन दि गार्डियन की रिपोर्ट में कई बड़े आला जानकारों के हवाले से कहा गया है कि ये मोदी सरकार की नयी नीति है और RAW सीधे प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय को रिपोर्ट करती है. चुरू में प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने घर में घुसकर मारने की बात कही है. पुलवामा अटैक के कुछ दिन बाद जब मोदी चुरू गए थे उस वक्त ही हमारे जाबांज़ फाइटर पायलट्स ने पाकिस्तान में घुसकर दहशतगर्दों के कैंप्स को उडाया था. इसलिए मोदी के शुक्रवार के बयान को आधार बना कर पाकिस्तान और शोर मचाएगा. दुनिया से कहेगा कि देखो मोदी हमारे देश में हत्याएं करवा रहा है लेकिन इससे बहुत फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा क्योंकि पाकिस्तान की सरकार, ISI और पाकिस्तान फौज के पास इस तरह के आरोपों का कोई सबूत तो है नहीं और दूसरी बात भारत सरकार इस तरह की बातों को सिरे से खारिज करेगी. इसलिए मोदी सरकार पाकिस्तान में बैठे आतंकवादियों का खात्मा कर रही है. इसकी हकीकत तो किसी को पता नहीं लगेगी लेकिन अगर सरकार ने एजेंसियों को छूट दी है, तो ये कोई गलत बात नहीं है क्योंकि मुंबई में हमला करने वाले हैंडलर्स पाकिस्तान में बैठे हैं .सरकार ने बीसियों बार सबूत दिए. पाकिस्तान ने क्या किया? मसूद अजहर से लेकर हाफिज सईद और सैयद सलाउद्दीन जैसे तमाम आतंकवादी पाकिस्तान में खुलेआम भारत के खिलाफ साजिशों को अंजाम देते हैं. पाकिस्तान ने कौन सा एक्शन लिया? नरेंद्र मोदी इन मामलों को कैसे हैंडल करते हैं, ये उन्होंने मुझे 2009 में बताया था जब वो गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री थे. ‘आप की अदालत’ में उन्होंने बताया कि पाकिस्तान ने हम पर हमला बोल दिया और हमारे प्रधानमंत्री अमेरिका गए और रोने लगे ‘ओबामा ओबामा’, कहने लगे ‘बचाओ बचाओ’, ये कोई तरीका होता है क्या? पड़ोसी मार कर चला जाए और अमेरिका जाते हो, अरे पाकिस्तान जाओ ना ? इसपर मैंने कहा कि तो फिर कौन सा तरीका अपनाया जाए? उस समय मोदी ने जो कहा था वो शब्द आज भी मेरे कान में गूंजते हैं. “पाकिस्तान जिस भाषा में समझे उस भाषा में समझाना चाहिए” और आज मुझे लगता है कि पिछले 10 साल में यही बात साकार हुई है. पाकिस्तान जिस भाषा में बोलता है, उसी भाषा में उसको जवाब दिया गया.

A detailed report in The Guardian, London, alleging that India has rolled out a pre-emptive policy of targeting terrorists based in Pakistan, has been rubbished by the External Affairs Ministry as part of “false and malicious propaganda against India”. The newspaper has alleged that at least 20 terrorists based in Pakistan were killed in the last two years on directives of Indian spy agency RAW’s “sleeper cells” based in UAE. The newspaper has reported that Narendra Modi government has changed its anti-terror policy after the heinous Pulwama terror attack in February, 2019, and Indian operatives based outside India have been given a free hand to deal with terrorists taking shelter in Pakistan and other countries. The newspaper report cites instances of the killings of Lashkar and Jaish terrorists in Pakistan with one killed inside a mosque and another given poisonous food in jail. Already Pakistani media is rife with speculations over how Indian agents carried out these killings on Pakistani soil. The British newspaper report claims that its reporters spoke to several retired RAW officials and Pakistani ISI officers while collating evidences. The report claims, Indian operatives sitting in UAE, Nepal and Mauritius carried out these killings by giving millions of rupees to the perpetrators. The Guardian report mentions in detail how Lashkar terrorists like Shahid Latif, Zahid Akhund, Riaz Ahmed, Hizbul terrorist Basheer Ahmed Pir and Salim Ahmed Rehmani, and Khalistani terrorist Parmajit Singh Panjwar were killed in Pakistan. Zahid Akhund aliaz Zahoor Mistry was among the terrorists who hijacked the Indian Airlines plane to Kandahar in 1999. Shahid Latif was the mastermind of terror attack on Pathankot air base in 2016. In some of the cases, the newspaper reported, the killers were Islamic terrorists from TTP and Afghanistan who were told that they are killing a ‘kaafir’. Already, there is growing demand in Pakistani media that Pakistani ISI officials who gave confidential information to the reporters should come forward and tell the truth to the nation. External affairs minister S. Jaishankar has time and again said that killing terrorists on foreign soil has never been part of India’s policy, though India has admitted that its armed forces carried out surgical and air strikes inside Pakistan after terror attacks. The first surgical strike took place in Pak Occupied Kashmir after the terror attack in Uri in 2016. The air strike took place at Balakot inside Pakistan in the aftermath of 2019 Pulwama terror attack. More than 300 terrorists were killed in the IAF air strike on Balakot. In his election meetings in Bihar and Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “in the New India, we are striking inside enemy’s territory (ghar me ghus kar ke maarta hain)”. In cases like the killings of terrorists in Pakistan, normally evidences are fudgy, though The Guardian in its report says that RAW and the National Security Adviser directly report to the Prime Minister. Naturally, Pakistan will start making a lot of noise based on Modi’s claim of ‘ghar me ghus kar maarte hain’ and blame India for extra-territorial killings, but this is not going to make much of a difference. Neither the Pakistan government, nor its ISI and army have concrete evidences to prove that Indian operatives carried out killings on its soil. On its part, Indian government will rubbish these allegations. The truth about who killed the terrorists in Pakistan and how, will never be known. I personally feel, there is nothing wrong if the government gives a free hand to its agencies. The handlers of Mumbai terror attacks are sitting in Pakistan. India has sent dozens of dossiers to Pakistan for taking action against them, but nothing happened. What did Pakistan do? From Azhar Masood, Hafiz Saeed to Syed Salahuddin, all these terror masterminds are openly active in Pakistan hatching conspiracies to carry out big terror attacks inside India. What action has Pakistan taken against these masterminds? How Narendra Modi handles such matters, can be learnt from what he told me in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show in 2009 after the Mumbai terror attacks. He was then the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Modi said, ‘after Pakistan carried out terror attacks, our Prime Minsiter went to the US and started crying ‘Obama Obama’ ‘. “Is that the manner in which we should act? The neighbours attack us and we go to America and say, ‘Keep Pakistan away from us’ ?”, he said. When I asked Modi what measures should India take? Modi’s words still ring in my ears even today. He said,”we much teach Pakistan in the language it understands”. This has been proved in the last 10 years of Modi rule. Pakistan is getting the reply in the language which it understands.
कांग्रेस से भगदड़ के लिए कौन ज़िम्मेवार ?
कांग्रेस में नेताओं की जो भगदड़ मच रही है, वो वाकई में हैरान करने वाली है. कांग्रेस के पूर्व सासंद संजय निरूपम, कांग्रेस के प्रवक्ता गौरव वल्लभ, और बिहार कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अनिल शर्मा – इन सबने कांग्रेस छोड़ दी. बुधवार शाम को ओलंपिक मेडल विजेता बॉक्सर विजेन्दर सिंह कांग्रेस छोडकर बीजेपी में शामिल हो गए थे. राजस्थान में कांग्रेस के कई पूर्व मंत्रियों समेत 113 नेताओं ने पार्टी छोड़ दी, बीजेपी के साथ चले गए. मध्य प्रदेश में तो पिछले कुछ दिनों में कांग्रेस के 25 हजार से ज्यादा नेता और कार्यकर्ता बीजेपी में शामिल हो चुके हैं. इतनी बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता पार्टी छोड़ रहे हैं, लेकिन कांग्रेस हाईकमान में किसी को इसकी फिक्र नहीं हैं. कांग्रेस के नेताओं का एक ही जवाब है, चुनाव के वक्त ऐसा होता है, इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा, लेकिन क्या सिर्फ चुनाव में टिकट न मिलना पार्टी छोड़ने की वजह है या फिर कारण कुछ और है? महाराष्ट्र में संजय निरूपम ने पिछले हफ्ते ही ये साफ कर दिया था कि अगर मुंबई नॉर्थ वेस्ट लोकसभा सीट उद्धव ठाकरे ने कांग्रेस के लिए नहीं छोड़ी, अगर कांग्रेस ने इस सीट पर अपनी दावेदारी छोड़ी, तो वो अपना रास्ता अलग करेंगे. उन्होंने कांग्रेस हाईकमान को एक हफ्ते का वक्त दिया था. न उद्धव ने सीट छोड़ी, न कांग्रेस अड़ी और गुरुवार को एक हफ्ता पूरा हो गया. इसलिए संजय निरूपम ने कांग्रेस छोड़ने का एलान कर दिया. हालांकि संजय निरूपम ने अपने इरादे बुधवार को ही जाहिर कर दिए थे, इसलिए कांग्रेस ने आनन फानन में उन्हें पार्टी से निकालने का फरमान भी जारी कर दिया. संजय निरूपम ने कहा कि अब इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता क्योंकि कांग्रेस हाईकमान के पास अब पार्टी के बारे में फैसले लेने की हिम्मत ही नहीं हैं, कांग्रेस को दूसरी छोटी छोटी क्षेत्रीय पार्टियों के रहम-ओ-करम पर छोड़ दिया गया है, कांग्रेस का कोई भविष्य नहीं हैं. संजय निरूपम ने कहा कि वो चुनाव भी लड़ेंगे लेकिन किस पार्टी के निशान पर लड़ेंगे, ये वक्त आने पर बताएंगे. निरूपम ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में महाविकास अघाड़ी का भी कोई भविष्य नहीं है क्योंकि ये तीनों पार्टियां टूट फूट चुकी है और आघाड़ी खत्म होने के कगार पर है. निरूपम ने कहा कि कांग्रेस वो कंपनी है, जिसमें पांच पावर सेंटर हैं, सबकी अपनी मंडली है, कार्यकर्ता किसकी सुनें, कहां जाकर अपनी बात कहें, किसी को कुछ समझ नहीं आता. संजय निरूपम ने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेतृत्व जमीन से कट चुका है, उसे ज़मीनी हकीक़त का अंदाजा ही नहीं हैं. संजय निरूपम ने कहा कि कांग्रेस हाईकमान धर्मनिरपेक्षता की बात करते करते हिन्दुत्व के विरोध पर उतर आई है. राहुल गांधी और मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे वामपंथी विचारधारा वाले नेताओं से घिर गए हैं, इसीलिए रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समारोह का बॉयकॉट किया गया, ऐसे हालात में कांग्रेस का खत्म होना तय है. जवाब में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण ने कहा कि संजय निरूपम को पार्टी से निकाला गया है और जब किसी को निकाला जाता है तो वो ऐसे ही आरोप लगाता है. चव्हाण ने कहा कि कांग्रेस राम विरोधी नहीं है, और कांग्रेस ने राममंदिर का विरोध नहीं किया. गुरुवार को गौरव बल्लभ और अनिल शर्मा ने भी बीजेपी के मुख्यालय में जाकर बीजेपी की सदस्यता ले ली और इन दोनों नेताओं ने भी वही बातें कहीं, जो संजय निरूपम ने कहा. गौरव वल्लभ ने कहा कि कांग्रेस में उनका दम घुट रहा था, इसलिए बीजेपी में आ गए और अब वो मोदी के विकसित भारत के सपने को पूरा करने में उनका साथ देंगे. अनिल शर्मा ने सोनिया और खरगे पर बड़ा आरोप लगाया. अनिल शर्मा कांग्रेस में चालीस साल से थे. उन्होने कहा कि धर्मनिरपेक्षता की बात करने वाला कांग्रेस का नेतृत्व साम्प्रदायिक और हिन्दू विरोधी है. अनिल शर्मा ने कहा सोनिया राम मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का न्योता ठुकरा देती हैं लेकिन इटली में मदर टेरेसा के सेंटहुड प्रोग्राम के लिए कांग्रेस के प्रतिनिधि को रोम भेजती हैं. आज मैं ये देखकर हैरान हूं कि संजय निरुपम और गौरव वल्लभ, जो पिछले 10 साल से हर रोज़ टीवी चैनलों की डिबेट में कांग्रेस का बचाव करते थे, गुरुवार को अपनी पार्टी की धुलाई कर रहे थे. कांग्रेस के कमजोर नेतृत्व और पार्टी में घुटन की बात कर रहे थे. इससे भी ज्यादा हैरानी की बात ये है कि कांग्रेस के शीर्ष नेतृत्व को इस बात की कोई परवाह नहीं है कि नेता पार्टी छोड़कर जा रहे हैं. राहुल गांधी को इस बात की भी परवाह नहीं है कि निराश होकर पार्टी के हजारों कार्यकर्ता कांग्रेस छोड़कर जा रहे हैं. इतनी बड़ी पार्टी में कोई ऐसा नहीं है जिसने जाने वाले नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं को रोकने की जरा भी कोशिश की हो. पिछले एक महीने से कम वक्त में 100 से ज्यादा बड़े नेता कांग्रेस छोड़ चुके हैं – अशोक चव्हाण, नवीन जिंदल, मिलिंद देवड़ा, बाबा सिद्दीकी, अर्जुन मोढ़वाडिय़ा, लालचंद कटारिया, राजेन्द्र यादव, प्रमोद कृष्णम, रोहन गुप्ता, ऐसे तमाम नाम हैं जिनकी चर्चा हुई लेकिन कांग्रेस के ऐसे सैकड़ों नेता हैं, जो चुपचाप पार्टी छोड़ गए. राजस्थान में 10 मार्च को पूर्व मंत्रियों, सांसदों, विधायकों समेत 23 नेताओं ने कांग्रेस छोड़ी. और बुधवार को ही राजस्थान में 113 कांग्रेसजनों ने बीजेपी ज्वाइन कर ली. मध्य प्रदेश में तो हालात ये है कि बीजेपी में शामिल होने वाले कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ताओं को सदस्यता देने के लिए कैंप लगाने पड़े रहे हैं, पंडालों का इंतजाम करना पड़ रहा है. 1 जनवरी से अब तक 25 हजार से ज्यादा कांग्रेस के नेता और कार्यकर्ता बीजेपी की सदस्यता ले चुके हैं. ये सब टिकट के चक्कर में तो पार्टी नहीं छोड़ सकते, न बीजेपी सबको टिकट दे सकती है. असल में जो भी राजनीति में सक्रिय होता है, वो आगे बढ़ना चाहता है, नेतृत्व को परखता है, हवा का रुख देखता है और इन दोनों पैमानों पर कांग्रेस फिलहाल कमजोर दिखाई दे रही हैं. संजय निरूपम हों, गौरव वल्लभ हों, प्रमोद कृष्णम हों या अर्जुन मोढवाडिया, इन लोगों ने जो बातें कहीं, उसका मतलब यही है कि इन्हें काँग्रेस में कोई भविष्य नज़र नहीं आता. ये मानते हैं कि कांग्रेस नेतृत्व में दमखम नहीं हैं, राहुल गांधी के पास कोई विज़न नहीं हैं, राहुल का एजेंडा सिर्फ मोदी विरोध है और मोदी में कांग्रेस के नेता अपना भविष्य देख रहे हैं. इसी चक्कर में कांग्रेस में भगदड़ जैसी स्थिति है.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EXODUS FROM CONGRESS?
The exodus of leaders and workers from Congress is surprising. Former Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam, party spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh and former Bihar Congress president Anil Sharma have left the party. On Wednesday, Olympic medal winning boxer Vijender Singh quit the Congress and joined BJP. In Rajasthan, 113 leaders and activists including several former ministers have left the Congress and joined BJP. In Madhya Pradesh, more than 25,000 leaders and party workers have quit the Congress to join BJP. And yet, the party leadership is unfazed over this exodus. Party leaders are saying such exodus does happen at the time of elections and it is nothing new, the main reason being denial of election tickets. In Maharashtra, Sanjay Nirupam had given a week’s ultimatum to the party high command for accepting his claim on Mumbai North-West Lok Sabha seat. In response, the high command expelled him from the party for six years. Nirupam claims he had put in his papers even before the expulsion order was issued. After his expulsion, Nirupam alleged that the Congress has been left at the mercy of small regional parties and the party has no future. He said, the Maha Vikas Aghadi, an alliance of three main parties Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharad), has no future and it is on the verge of dissolution. Nirupam described MVA as a result of “the merger of loss-making units”. He described Congress as “a company having five power centers with their own coterie”. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are presently surrounded by leaders with left ideological leanings, and this was the reason why the party boycotted the Shri Ram idol installation ceremony in Ayodhya. Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh, after joining the BJP on Thursday, questioned the Congress party line of attacking and abusing wealth creators, Modi’s development work and economic policies and building of Ram temple. Former Bihar Congress chief Anil Sharma, after joining BJP, attacked Kharge and Sonia Gandhi. Sharma has been in Congress for last four decades. He said, the Congress leadership which claims to be following secularism is “basically anti-Hindu”, because the senior party leaders rejected the invitations to attend Shri Ram idol consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, but sent a party representative to the Vatican to attend the sainthood ceremony of late Mother Teresa. I am surprised to find leaders like Sanjay Nirupam and Gaurav Vallabh, who had been defending the Congress in television debates almost daily for the last ten years, now quitting the party. They are denouncing their own party leadership. They are saying how they felt suffocated in the party because of the weak and directionless leadership. The more surprising part is that the party high command is least worried over the exodus of leaders. Rahul Gandhi does not appear to be worried that thousands of his party workers are deserting the Congress. Not a single senior leader in this big party tried to stop the exodus. In the last one month, more than 100 top leaders have left the party. They include, former Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan, Naveen Jindal, Milind Deora, Baba Siddiqui, Arjun Modhwadia, Lalchand Kataria, Rajendra Yadav, Pramod Krishnav, Rohan Gupta, etc. There are, of course, hundreds of Congress leaders who silently left the party. In Rajasthan, 23 leaders including former ministers, ex-MPs and ex-MLAs resigned on March 10. On Wednesday, 113 Congress workers joined the BJP. In Madhya Pradesh, the situation has come to such a pass that BJP had to organize camps and erect huge tents for giving membership to deserting Congress workers. Since January 1, more than 25,000 Congress leaders and workers have joined the BJP. Naturally, these leaders and workers cannot leave a party because they were denied election tickets, nor does BJP gives tickets to one and all. The moot point is: anybody who is active in politics, wants to move ahead, test the leadership and watch which way the wind is blowing. On both these counts, the Congress appears to be weak. What Sanjay Nirupam, Gaurav Vallabh, Arjun Modhwadia have said while resigning is that they do not find any future for the Congress party. They have realized that the Congress leadership lacks the clout, that Rahul Gandhi has no vision, and his single point agenda is to oppose Narendra Modi. The Congress leaders who have joined the exodus find their future under Modi’s leadership. This appears to be the crux of the matter.
अमेठी पर रॉबर्ट वाड्रा की नज़र, वायनाड में राहुल के लिए आसान वॉकओवर नहीं
रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने भी खुलकर कह दिया है कि वह चुनाव लड़ना चाहते है, वह सांसद बनना चाहते हैं, वह सासंद बनकर स्मृति ईरानी को जवाब देना चाहते हैं. इंडिया टीवी के संवाददाता दिनेश मोर्य को एक खास इंटरव्यू में रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि अमेठी, रायबरेली के लोग चाहते हैं कि वो वहां से चुनाव लड़ें, वह गांधी-नेहरू परिवार के सदस्य हैं इसलिए लोगों की अपेक्षाएं उनसे हैं. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि उन्होंने अमेठी में बहुत काम किया है, वहां के लोगों की बहुत मदद की है, उन्हें पूरा भरोसा है कि अगर उन्हें टिकट मिला तो जरूर जीतेंगे. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा का कहना है कि उन्होंने अपनी इच्छा सोनिया गांधी और राहुल गांधी को बता दी है, अब फैसला पार्टी हाई कमान को करना है. अभी रायबरेली और अमेठी पर फैसला नहीं हुआ है. परिवार में बात हो रही है. गुरुवार को फिर सोनिया गांधी से मुलाकात होगी, बात होगी, सब कुछ जल्दी ही फाइनल हो जाएगा. ये सही है कि अमेठी और ऱायबरेली से कांग्रेस ने उम्मीदवार के नाम का एलान नहीं किया है. राहुल गांधी अमेठी से लड़ेंगे या नहीं, अभी तक ये तय नहीं हैं. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि वह मुरादाबाद के रहने वाले हैं, इसलिए मुरादाबाद के लोग चाहते हैं कि वहां से लड़ूं, लेकिन अमेठी रायबरेली उनके लिए खास है, वहां उन्होंने बहुत काम किया है. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि स्मृति ईरानी संसद में उनकी फोटो दिखाकर उन पर झूठे इल्जाम लगाती हैं, वह संसद में ही जवाब देना चाहते हैं. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि स्मृति ईरानी को वोट देकर अमेठी के लोगों ने गलती की, अमेठी के लोगों को इस गलती का एहसास है, इस बार गलती नहीं होगी, वहां कांग्रेस जरूर जीतेगी.
रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने खुलासा किया कि परिवार में इस मुद्दे पर बात हो रही है कि प्रियंका और उनमें से किसको चुनाव लड़ाया जाए. हालांकि उन्होंने खुद ही ये भी कह दिया कि प्रियंका गांधी की दिलचस्पी फिलहाल चुनाव लड़ने से ज्यादा कांग्रेस के प्रचार पर है. रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने कहा कि कुछ दिन की बात है, उसके बाद पता चल जाएगा कि वो राजनीति में कैसे औऱ किस रूप में एंट्री करेंगे. ये कोई पहला मौका नहीं है जब रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने चुनाव लड़ने की इच्छा जाहिर की है. वह कई बार अपने परिवार में ये बात रख चुके हैं, अनेक बार मीडिया के जरिए पार्टी को भी ये बता चुके हैं. लेकिन इस बार मामला थोड़ा गंभीर लगता है. रॉबर्ट समझते हैं कि राहुल अमेठी से नहीं लड़ेंगे, एक बार हारने के बाद उनका अहं उन्हें इजाज़त नहीं देगा, रायबरेली की सीट भी खाली है, सोनिया गांधी चुनाव नहीं लड़ पाएंगी. इसीलिए रॉबर्ट को लगा कि इस बार परिवार की दो-दो सीटें खाली पड़ी हैं, लड़ने की इच्छा रखने वाले वह अकेले हैं. अगर प्रियंका चाहें तो रायबरेली से लड़ सकती हैं. इसीलिए रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने अमेठी से चुनाव लड़ने की इच्छा जाहिर की और ये बात सार्वजनिक तौर पर बता दी कि उन्होंने सोनिया और राहुल से कह दिया है. मुश्किल ये है कि रॉबर्ट वाड्रा की परिवार में इतनी भी नहीं चलती कि वो टिकट मांगे और उन्हें मिल जाए. ये मामला ऐसा है जिसमें दामाद होना भी ज्यादा काम नहीं आएगा. फैसला सोनिया गांधी, राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी को मिलकर करना है और प्रियंका, राहुल फिलहाल वायनाड में हैं.
वायनाड में राहुल
बुधवार को राहुल गांधी ने वायनाड से नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किया. बहन प्रियंका गांधी भी राहुल के साथ थी लेकिन प्रियंका खुद चुनाव लड़ेंगी या नहीं, इसका फैसला भी नहीं हुआ है. पर्चा भरने से पहले राहुल गांधी ने बड़ा रोड शो किया. कांग्रेस ने वायनाड में अपनी ताकत दिखाई, रोड शो में जबरदस्त भीड़ उमड़ी. वायनाड में राहुल के सारे प्रोग्राम का इंतजाम कांग्रेस महासचिव के सी वेणुगोपाल ने किया था. वायनाड में राहुल ने नरेन्द्र मोदी, बीजेपी, आरएसएस के साथ साथ वाम मोर्चा को भी कोसा. राहुल ने कहा कि उन्होंने तो वायनाड को अपना परिवार माना लेकिन यहां की समस्याएं दूर नहीं कर पाए क्योंकि केरल की वाम मोर्चा सरकार ने उनकी बात नहीं सुनी. राहुल ने वादा किया कि जब केंद्र और राज्य में कांग्रेस की सरकार बनेगी तो वो वायनाड के सारे मुद्दे हल कर देंगे. केरल में 26 अप्रैल को वोटिंग होगी. वायनाड में इस बार राहुल गांधी का मुकाबला CPI की एनी राजा और केरल में बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष के. सुरेंद्रन से है. सुरेंद्रन ने गुरुवार को नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किया. CPI की एनी राजा ने बुधवार को ही पर्चा भर दिया. एनी राजा हजारों कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ पैदल चलकर कलक्टक के दफ्तर में पहुंची. एनी राजा ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी वायनाड के लोगों के लिए बाहरी हैं, उनकी भाषा नहीं जानते, उनके मुद्दों को नहीं समझते, पिछले 5 साल में संसद में राहुल ने एक बार भी वायनाड की बात नहीं की. एनी राजा ने कहा कि पिछली बार लोगों ने राहुल को वोट इसलिए दे दिया था क्योंकि ये भ्रम फैलाया गया था कि कांग्रेस जीत रही है और राहुल देश के प्रधानमंत्री बनेंगे, अब वायनाड के लोगों को हकीकत समझ में आ गई है. एनी राजा सीपीआई के महासचिव डी. राजा की पत्नी हैं. CPI मोदी विरोधी मोर्चे का हिस्सा है लेकिन CPI ने वायनाड में राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ उम्मीदवार उतार दिया. एनी राजा की सामाजिक कार्य़कर्ता के तौर पर मान भी है, लैफ्ट का वोट बैंक भी है. .बीजेपी भी वायनाड में पूरी ताकत से चुनाव लड़ रही है, इसलिए राहुल को दिक्कत हो सकती है. राहुल गांधी को पिछले चुनाव में वायनाड में 65 परसेंट वोट मिले थे, जबकि लेफ्ट को 24 परसेंट. अंतर तो बहुत था, इसलिए कांग्रेस के लोग दावा कर सकते हैं कि राहुल गांधी आसानी से जीत जाएंगे लेकिन CPI की उम्मीदवार राहुल गांधी के बारे में क्या कहती हैं ये बहुत दिलचस्प हैं. एनी राजा पूछ रही हैं कि राहुल ने इस क्षेत्र के लिए क्या किया? राहुल ने तो संसद में एक बार भी वायनाड का नाम नहीं लिया. एनी राजा ये भी कह रही हैं कि यहां के लोग कहते हैं कि वो राहुल गांधी से बिना दुभाषिए के बात भी नहीं कर सकते. ऐसा MP किस काम का? वैसे भी केरल में 2019 से 2024 तक बहुत कुछ बदल गया है. RSS के कार्यकर्ताओं की हत्या को बीजेपी ने बड़ा मुद्दा बनाया, इसके खिलाफ संघर्ष किया, जमीन पर RSS ने बहुत काम किया, बीजेपी का नेटवर्क भी केरल के हर जिले तक पहुंच गया है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने चुनाव प्रचार की शुरूआत केरल में ही रोड शो करके की थी. अब मोदी की सभाएं भी होंगी. इसलिए राहुल को आसानी से वॉकओवर तो नहीं मिलेगा. कांग्रेस को इस बात का फायदा ज़रूर मिल सकता है कि वायनाड में पचास परसेंट से ज्यादा मुस्लिम आबादी है. SDPI ने भी इस बार कांग्रेस को सपोर्ट करने का एलान किया है, इसलिए कांग्रेस के नेताओं में आत्मविश्वास है. लेकिन बीजेपी अब SDPI के सपोर्ट को भी मुद्दा बना रही है क्योंकि SDPI को PFI (People’s Front of India) का पॉलिटिकल विंग कहा जाता है और PFI पर जिहादी आतंकवादी गतिविधियों के कारण बैन लगाया गया है.
ROBERT VADRA EYES AMETHI, NO EASY WALKOVER FOR RAHUL IN WAYANAD
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra has expressed his desire for contesting Lok Sabha elections, preferably from Amethi, to give a fight to Union Minister Smriti Irani. In an exclusive interview to India TV correspondent Dinesh Mourya on Wednesday, Robert Vadra said: “It is not my desire, but it is the desire of many people that I should join active politics. Since I belong to Gandhi family, I find it difficult to stay away from active politics. Demands have come from many places, firstly from my home town Moradabad, where people want me to represent them, but I have done much social work in Amethi, Jagdishpur, Rae Bareli and Sultanpur since 1999, and I also get requests from Telangana to represent them, when I visit the South. People have already started putting up posters. At political conclaves and events, I am often told that I have already delayed my entry into politics.” To a pointed question on whether he is ready to give a tough fight to Smriti Irani in Amethi, Vadra replied: “ I am ready to give a fight to anybody. I am a member of Gandhi family. With great power, comes great responsibility. I have learnt a lot from the family during the last 25-30 years. Whenever allegations were levelled against me, I replied to them in my own manner. I know the nitty-gritties of campaigning. Whether it is the BJP or any other close rival, I will put in my best to defeat them.” On a question whether Priyanka Gandhi is ready to contest from Rae Bareli, Vadra replied: “She is ready to contest from anywhere, but the Congress party will have to decide.” He however said, he would like Priyanka to enter Parliament first. Vadra has said that he has communicated his desire to his mother-in-law Sonia Gandhi and brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi, and the family will take a call soon about Amethi and Rae Bareli. Rahul Gandhi is yet to decide whether he would like to contest from Amethi, from where he was defeated in 2019 by Smriti Irani by a margin of 55,120 votes. This is not the first time Robert Vadra has expressed his desire to contest elections. He had communicated his desire to the family several times, and also in public. This time, he appears to be serious. Robert knows that Rahul may not contest from Amethi this time because his ego will not allow him to try his luck again after his 2019 defeat. Rae Bareli seat is lying vacant because Sonia Gandhi will not contest due to health reasons. Probably, Robert felt that with two family seats going vacant, and given his desire to join politics, if Priyanka opts to contest from Rae Bareli, he should be allowed to try his luck from Amethi. This is the reason why he made his intentions public. But the problem is, Robert Vadra does not have a big say in Gandhi family to the extent that he would be given a ticket, if he desires so. This is a matter in which, being the son-in-law alone will not help. Sonia, Priyanka and Rahul will have to collectively decide.
RAHUL IN WAYANAD
On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi was busy filing his nomination in Wayanad, Kerala, after taking out a massive road show with his sister Priyanka. The green Indian Union Muslim League flags, resembling Pakistani’s national flag, were missing this time, unlike in 2019, when BJP made an issue out of it. This time tricolour flags and caps were visible. Left Democratic Front candidate and CPI leader Annie Raja also filed her nomination on Wednesday, while on Thursday, Kerala state BJP chief K. Rajendran, accompanied by Union Minister Smriti Irani filed his nomination. This time, the contest in Wayanad is going to be triangular one. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi, without directly mentioning LDF, said there are many local problems in Wayanad which have not been resolved, because the LDF government in the state did not listen to his advice. CPI rival Annie Raja also took out a rally and alleged that Rahul Gandhi was an “outsider”. She said, rumours were circulated last time that Rahul was going to become Prime Minister since the Congress would win the elections, but the people of Wayanad have now realized that they have been cheated. Annie Raja is the wife of CPI general secretary D. Raja and she is going to give Rahul a tough fight this time. In 2019, Rahul had defeated his CPI rival by a huge margin of over four lakh votes. On Thursday, Union Minister Smriti Irani, while addressing a rally in Wayanad in support of BJP candidate, alleged that Rahul had cheated the people of Amethi and was now doing the same to the people of Wayanad. “In Amethi, four lakh families got toilets for the first time after Modi became PM, despite the fact that Congress had been winning Amethi seat for 50 years”, Irani said. In the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi got 65 per cent votes in Wayanad. He polled 7,06,367 votes out of a total of 10,92,197 votes. The CPI candidate P P Suneer polled 2,74,597 votes. Congress leaders claim that Rahul would win easily this time again, but one should listen to what Annie Raja is saying, which is interesting. She is asking why Rahul Gandhi did not mention the name Wayanad even once during the last five years in Parliament. She is saying, Rahul cannot speak to the voters of Wayanad without an interpreter because he does not know Malayalam. Things have changed a lot in Kerala since 2019. BJP made a big issue of RSS workers being brutally killed. RSS-BJP network is now active in each district of Kerala. Prime Minister Modi is going to address election meetings in Kerala, where polling is due on April 26. This time, Rahul is not going to have an easy walkover. However, Congress can count on the support of Muslims, who constitute more than 50 per cent in Wayanad. SDPI, the political wing of banned PFI, has extended support to Rahul Gandhi. BJP is making an issue of it and Smriti Irani has already started saying this in her meetings.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उत्तराखंड के रूद्रपुर और राजस्थान के कोटपूतली में चुनाव प्रचार का शुभारंभ का, इन दो राज्यों में चुनाव सभाएं कीं, फिर बिहार में बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ वीडियो कॉन्फ्रैसिंग के जरिए संवाद किया. मोदी ने हर जगह भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रखने की बात कही. मोदी ने कहा कि उनका नारा है – भ्रष्टाचार भगाओ, विरोधियों का नारा है – भ्रष्टाचारियों को बचाओ, फैसला देश को करना है. रुद्रपुर में मोदी ने रोड शो किया. बाद में अपनी रैली में मोदी ने अपनी सरकार के काम गिनाए, जैसे हर घऱ जल और बिजली का कनैक्शन पहुंचाने की बात की, 80 करोड़ परिवारों को मुफ्त राशन और किसान सम्मान निधि देने की बात की. मोदी ने कहा, समाज के जिन वर्गों को पिछली सरकार ने पूछा तक नहीं, उन वर्गों की उन्होंने पूजा की है, उन्हें सम्मान के साथ उनका हक़ दिया है. मोदी ने कांग्रेस और उसके सहयोगी दलों पर तीखा हमला बोला, कहा कि उनकी सरकार के तीसरे कार्यकाल शुरु होने में अब ज्यादा दिन नहीं बचे हैं, चुनाव के बाद सरकार बनते ही भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सबसे तेज़ कार्रवाई शुरु होगी. मोदी ने राहुल गांधी पर सीधा हमला बोला. राहुल गांधी का नाम लिए बिना मोदी ने कहा कि शाही परिवार के शहजादे लोगों को भड़काने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, देश में आग लगाने की बातें कर रहे हैं, कह रहे हैं कि बीजेपी के जीतने से देश में आग लग जाएगी. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस का चरित्र लोकतन्त्र विरोधी है, इन लोगों का लोकतन्त्र में यकीन नहीं हैं, ऐसे लोगों को इस चुनाव में चुन-चुनकर साफ कर देना चाहिए. इसके बाद राजस्थान के कोटपूतली में मोदी ने एक बार फिर राहुल गांधी पर निशाना साधा, कहा कि कांग्रेस के बड़े नेता लोगों को धमकाने की, डराने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, लेकिन उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा. मोदी ने कहा कि इन दस साल में जो कुछ हुआ, वो तो सिर्फ ट्रेलर है, अभी तो बहुत कुछ करना है, अभी तो देश को बहुत आगे लेकर जाना है, इसलिए सरकार का तीसरा कार्यकाल ऐतिहासिक और निर्णायक फैसलों का कार्यकाल होने वाला है. इसमें मुझे कोई शक नहीं कि तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद मोदी कई बड़े फैसले लेंगे. वो लगातार ऐसी बातों के संकेत दे रहे हैं. एक बिज़नेस समिट में उन्होंने उद्योगपतियों से कहा था कि चुनाव की वजह से काम रुका हुआ है, लेकिन सरकार बनते ही एक बड़ा फैसला होगा जिस पर वो कई महीनों से काम कर रहे हैं, 15 लाख लोगों की अलग-अलग तरीके से सलाह ले चुके हैं. इसी तरह के संकेत नरेंद्र मोदी ने RBI को संबोधित करते हुए भी दिया. मोदी ने RBI के अधिकारियों से कहा कि जब तक चुनाव है तब तक आपके लिए थोड़ा आराम है, तीसरी बार सरकार बनते ही आपके लिए धमाधम काम आने वाला है और मंगलवार को भी मोदी ने कहा कि तीसरे कार्यकाल की शुरुआत से ही भ्रष्टाचार पर प्रहार और ज्यादा तेज़ होगा.
IS MODI PLANNING SOMETHING BIG FOR HIS THIRD TERM?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two election meetings in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan and had a video conference meeting with party workers of Bihar on Tuesday. At all his meetings, Modi promised to take strong action against those who are corrupt, howsoever big they may be. Modi launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remark at Opposition’s Ramlila Maidan rally. He said, “The shahzada (prince) of Congress royal (shahi) family has given a call that if the country choose the BJP for the third time, the country will go up in flames. They have been out of power for ten years after ruling the nation for 70 years. They are now speaking about setting the country on fire. Will you allow the country to be set on fire? Is this language acceptable? Is this the language of democracy? Won’t you teach a befitting lesson to those who utter such words? This time, do ensure that not one of them can win.” Modi said, “this is the first election in which most of the corrupt politicians are uniting together to stop our action against corruption. Don’t you think the corrupt should go to jail? Those who are corrupt are threatening and abusing me, but they can’t stop me. Action will be taken against each of those who are corrupt… Our slogan is “Throw Out The Corrupt”, their slogan is “Save The Corrupt”. The people will have to decide.” The Prime Minister said, not many days are left for the third term of his government to begin. He promised to take speediest action against corruption, once the third term begins. Modi remarked that whatever achievements made during the 10 years of his rule was only a trailer. “The upcoming third term of our government will see historic and decisive measures to propel the nation forward. Much remains to be accomplished.” There is not an iota of doubt that Modi is going to take some big decisions once his third term begins in June this year, if all goes well. He has been regularly giving indications about this. At a business summit, he told industrialists that much of the work has been stalled due to elections, but once the new government is formed, big decisions will be taken. He said, work on these decisions has been going on for last several months and nearly 1.5 million people have been contacted to take their advice. The same indication was given by Narendra Modi in his address to the RBI on its 75th anniversary. Modi told the RBI officials that so long as the general elections are going on, they may have some rest, but once the third term begins, they will have a lot of work in hand.
जेल में केजरीवाल : क्या अब कमान सुनीता के पास ?
दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल शराब आबकारी मामले में 15 अप्रैल तक तिहाड़ जेल रहेंगे. सोमवार को उन्हें जेल भेजा गया. मंगलवार को दो घटनाएं हुई – मंत्री आतिशी ने आरोप लगाया कि उनके एक नज़दीकी के ज़रिए उन्हें ऑफर भिजवाया गया कि वो बीजेपी खेमे में आ जाएं, वरना एक महीने के अंदर उन्हें भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा. आतिशी ने ये भी आरोप लगाया कि ईडी उन्हें, सौरभ भारद्वाज, राघव चड्ढा और दुर्गेश पाठक को एक महीने के अन्दर गिरफ्तार करने की योजना बना रही है. मंगलवार को ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट से सांसद संजय सिंह के लिए राहत भरी खबर आई. कोर्ट ने संजय सिंह को ज़मानत पर छोड़ने का आदेश दिया. संजय सिंह पिछले छह महीने से तिहाड़ जेल में थे. 11 दिन तक ED की रिमांड में रहने के बाद केजरीवाल को 15 दिन के लिए तिहाड़ जेल भेजा जाना उतनी बड़ी बात नहीं थी, जितना कि ईडी का कोर्ट में ये खुलासा कि केजरीवाल ने पूछताछ के दौरान आतिशी और सौरभ भारद्वाज के नाम लिए हैं. ED ने कोर्ट को बताया कि पूछताछ के दौरान केजरीवाल ने ये कहा कि विजय नायर को वो थोड़ा बहुत जानते है लेकिन विजय नायर उन्हें रिपोर्ट नहीं करता था, विजय नायर तो असल में सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी को रिपोर्ट करता था. ED के मुताबिक विजय नायर वो शख्स है जिसकी भूमिका शराब नीति की ड्राफ्टिंग से लेकर क्रियान्वयन तक थी. विजय नायर पर ही शराब नीति में रिश्वत के तौर पर मिले पैसे को आम आदमी पार्टी तक पहुंचाने का इल्जाम है. कोर्ट को ED ने बताया कि पूछताछ के दौरान केजरीवाल ने कहा कि विजय नायर से उनकी बहुत बात नहीं होती थी, उन्हें तो ये भी नहीं मालूम कि विजय नायर उनके कैंप ऑफिस से काम करता था. ED का दावा है कि केजरीवाल ने बताया कि विजय नायर तो सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी को रिपोर्ट करता था. ED की तरफ़ से एडिशनल सॉलिसिटर जनरल एसवी राजू ने कहा कि केजरीवाल जांच में सहयोग नहीं कर रहे हैं. ED ने कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल के घर से जो डिजिटल डिवाइस ज़ब्त की गई थी, उनके पासवर्ड देने से केजरीवाल ने मना कर दिया है. वहीं, जब विजय नायर और दूसरे आरोपियों के पास से ज़ब्त सोशल मीडिया बातचीत केजरीवाल को दिखाए गए, तो उन्होंने कोई भी जानकारी नहीं होने की बात कही. सोमवार को कोर्ट में अरविंद केजरीवाल की पत्नी सुनीता केजरीवाल भी मौजूद थीं. जब से अरविंद केजरीवाल गिरफ्तार हुए हैं, तब से सुनीता केजरीवाल बहुत सक्रिय हैं. वही आम आदमी पार्टी का चेहरा बन गई हैं. रविवार को मोदी विरोधी मोर्चे की रैली में सुनीता केजरीवाल शामिल हुई और मंच पर सोनिया गांधी के बगल में बैठीं. सोमवार को केजरीवाल की पेशी के बाद सुनीता केजरीवाल ने कहा कि 11 दिन की पूछताछ के बाद भी केजरीवाल को रिहा नहीं किया गया क्योंकि बीजेपी नहीं चाहती कि वो लोकसभा चुनाव तक बाहर आएं लेकिन देश की जनता इसका जवाब देगी. लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा अब चर्चा इस बात की है कि आखिर शराब घोटाले के केस में केजरीवाल ने सौरव भारद्वाज और आतिशी का नाम क्यों लिया? ED का दावा ये है कि शराब घोटाले से मिली रकम में से 45 करोड़ रुपए का इस्तेमाल आम आदमी पार्टी ने गोवा के विधानसभा चुनाव में किया. गोवा में विधानसभा चुनाव के वक्त आतिशी, गोवा में आम आदमी पार्टी की प्रभारी थी. उस वक़्त उन्होंने इसी हैसियत से चुनाव आयोग को कई चिट्ठियां लिखी थी. इसके अलावा आम आदमी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सांसद एनडी गुप्ता ने भी पूछताछ में ED को बताया था कि गोवा के चुनाव में कितने पैसे खर्च हुए, कहां खर्च हुए, इसकी जानकारी सिर्फ़ गोवा की पार्टी प्रभारी आतिशी को थी. केजरीवाल का जेल जाना तय था, ये बात वो खुद जानते थे. इसीलिए उन्होंने ED के 9 समन्स की अनदेखी की. वो चाहते थे कि किसी तरह लोकसभा चुनाव तक गिरफ्तारी को टाला जाए लेकिन उनकी ये मंशा पूरी नहीं हो पाई. हैरानी की बात ये है कि केजरीवाल ने ED के सामने सौरव भारद्वाज और आतिशी सिंह का नाम क्यों लिया? केजरीवाल भी समझते हैं कि अब इन दोनों को समन भेजा जा सकता है, पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया जा सकता है, फिर चुनाव के वक्त दो सबसे सक्रिय नेताओं को इस मुसीबत में क्यों डाला? कुछ लोगों का तो यहां तक कहना है कि केजरीवाल चाहते हैं कि इन दोनों को भी गिरफ्तार किया जाए. इसके बाद उनकी पार्टी के लोग कह सकेंगे कि मोदी सरकार उनकी पार्टी को चुनाव से दूर रखना चाहती है. केजरीवाल के जेल जाने के बाद सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी सिंह ही केजरीवाल का बचाव कर रहे थे, रोज प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर रहे थे. सोमवार को भी दोनों कोर्ट में मौजूद थे. आम आदमी पार्टी में यही दोनों नेता ऐसे हैं, जो केजरीवाल के जेल जाने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी के दावेदार हो सकते थे. इसलिए कुछ ये लोग ये भी कह रहे हैं कि अगर इन दोनों का नाम भी शराब घोटाले में आ गया तो फिर मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी के लिए सुनीता केजरीवाल के अलावा और कोई नाम नहीं होगा. इसीलिए केजरीवाल ने पत्नी का रास्ता साफ करने के लिए ये दांव चला है. हालांकि कोर्ट में ED के खुलासे के बाद सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी भी हैरान थे. दोनों ने न प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की, न कोई बयान दिया, लेकिन शाम होते होते आतिशी ने ट्विटर पर ये लिखकर कि वो मंगलवार सुबह कोई बड़ा खुलासा करेंगी, सबको चौंका दिया. लेकिन जो लोग आम आदमी पार्टी को करीब से जानते हैं, उनका कहना है कि इस बात की उम्मीद किसी को नहीं करनी चाहिए कि आतिशी केजरीवाल के खिलाफ कुछ बोलेंगी. हालांकि हकीकत क्या है, केजरीवाल के मन में क्या है, ये उनके सिवा कोई और नहीं जानता.
KEJRIWAL IN JAIL : IS WIFE SUNITA IN COMMAND?
A day after Arvind Kejriwal was sent to Tihar jail till April 15, Delhi minister Atishi alleged on Tuesday that the BJP had approached her through someone very close offering her to join the party and “save her political career”. Atishi also alleged that she was cautioned that if she declined the offer, she could be arrested by Enforcement Directorate within one month. She alleged that ED has planned to arrest four AAP leaders, including herself, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak and Raghav Chadha in the liquor excise case.This allegation come on the heels of a purported revelation made by Kejriwal to ED during interrogation that liquor case accused Vijay Nair never reported to him and that he used to report to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. Meanwhile, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, who has been in jail since October last year, was granted bail on Tuesday by the Supreme Court after ED did not oppose his bail petition. On Tuesday, nearly 55 AAP MLAs from Delhi met Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita and asserted that the Delhi chief minister should continue to run the government from jail and must not resign at any cost. The BJP has demanded that Kejriwal should resign because he should not run a government from jail. Sending Kejriwal to jail was a foregone conclusion and even the AAP supremo knew that. This was the reason why he continuously ignored nine summons sent by ED for questioning. Kejriwal had anticipated that his arrest could be postponed till the Lok Sabha elections were over, but his hopes were belied. To me, the surprising part is why Kejriwal named his two close confidantes Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj in the liquor excise case? Kejriwal knew these two ministers could be sent summons for questioning, if they were named. They why did he put both these active party leaders in difficulty and that too, on the eve of elections.? Some insiders say that Kejriwal wanted both these two leaders be arrested too, so that his partymen could go and tell the people that Modi government wants to keep his party away from elections. Both Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj were defending Kejriwal daily at press conferences and they were present in court on Monday. Both of them were leaders in AAP who could have become claimants for the CM’s chair, with Kejriwal in jail. Some people have started saying, if these two leaders were made accused in the liquor excise scam, there will be no strong contender left for the CM post except Sunita Kejriwal. They say, this was the reason why Kejriwal took the gambit in order to clear the path for his wife to become chief minister. Both Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj were shocked when ED told the court on Monday that Kejriwal had named both of them to whom accused Vijay Nair was reporting. People who know about the functioning of AAP from inside, say that nobody should expect Atishi to say anything against Kejriwal. This is what she did on Tuesday. It is only Kejriwal who can reveal what is going on in the inner layers of his mind.
