Mr Elon Musk, Law is equal for everybody in India
The CEO of SpaceX and owner of Starlink Elon Musk has raised questions about India’s telecom policy.
On his social media account X, Elon Musk wrote: “Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license? Is Ambani the real boss of India?”
Two days earlier, Musk wrote: “Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are … This is a crime against the people of India!”
The Indian government rejected Elon Musk’s claim that domestic “oligarchs” are blocking Starlink’s commercial launch. The Ministry of Communications said, the country’s satellite broadband approval process is fair and non-discriminatory, and law applies equally for all.
The ministry said three satellite communications operators have received telecom licenses and all of them are currently “undergoing security assessment” as part of the approval process. After the Centre hardened its stand, Starlink Vice-President Business Operations Lauren Dreyer said, “ Starlink has developed India-specific security controls and built 20 gateway sites in the country… the company is keeping Indian users’ data within India.”
She said, Starlink operates in 165 countries and provides reliable connectivity everywhere. In India, Starlink has signed MOUs with several Indian companies including Airtel, Jio, she added. Starlink can come to India, it has signed agreements with Indian companies, but if it has to operate in India, it must comply with Indian regulations.
No company, howsoever big, can use data from India and say, it will follow US rules. The Indian government’s stand is quite clear. Rules that apply to others shall also apply to Elon Musk and Starlink. Elon Musk realized this.
That is why he targeted Modi government in his tweet. He asked “Is Ambani the real boss of India?” On this, Rahul Gandhi replied to Musk: “ Welcome to India, Elon. Wait till you discover the other guy.”
Musk replied: “Thank you, Rahul. This is indeed troubling.”
Modi points our cybercrime, deepfake concerns
Addressing the Indian Mobile Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a global framework to tackle cross-border cybercrimes, deepfakes and Ai-related crimes.
He said, cellphones have changed the lives of common people in India, but at the same time, cybercrimes are on the rise. Many senior citizens and women have been the victims of cyberfraud. Several families have lost their savings.
Deepfake videos have made life difficult for people. A day ago, I had mentioned how a fake AI-generated video was created of a Delhi Police officer in which he was shown molesting a lady protester. The fake reel soon went viral.
Think about the trauma that the officer and his family members might have gone through. With the help of AI, even fake laws and judicial orders have been created and the Supreme Court was sought to be hoodwinked. AI-generated videos of celebrities are being made by vested interests trying to sell spurious medicines and investments.
Thousands of investors have been cheated by using AI-generated videos. This is only the opening phase. Experts across the world admit that Artificial Intelligence is a dangerous technology. It can be used to spread fake narratives, creating public unrest.
AI can even obliterate the human race. Since it is risky, please do not trust any video that you come across on social media.
Rahul competes with Cockroach : ‘Meri Kameez Teri Kameez Se Zyada Safed”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi invited INDIA bloc leaders to an afternoon lunch at a restaurant in Connaught Place yesterday. He then proceeded in three buses to Rajghat to stage a brief sit-in near the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi.
Delhi Police acted smartly. It allowed the buses, accompanied by slogan-shouting Congress activists to proceed towards Rajghat. Police did not allow Rahul Gandhi to stage any drama. Leaders of RJD, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress and Left parties joined this sit-in.
In the process, there were huge traffic snarls in central Delhi. More than 5,000 travelers failed to catch their trains in time. For more than three hours, thousands of motorists were caught in traffic snarls. Those who claim that Rahul Gandhi has become aggressive and is doing street politics, must remember a few incidents from the past.
It is not the first time that Rahul played hide-and-seek with police. This is his old habit. Fifteen years ago, Rahul sat on a motorbike at Bhatta Parsaul to hoodwink police. He was happy about it. In 2020, Rahul and Priyanka’s convoy was stopped near Hathras by UP police.
The siblings proceeded on foot. Rahul fell at one place and was taken into custody by police. In 2022, when ED took action in the National Herald case, Rahul along with Congress MPs sat on a dharna at Vijay Chowk, Delhi. He wanted to go to Rashtrapati Bhavan by evading police.
Staging impromptu dharna inside Akashwani complex, or on the road towards Jantar Mantar, or a sit-in at Rajghat is nothing new for Rahul Gandhi. It has happened in the past. But, this time, he is competing with Cockroach Janta Party. CJP has an army of left activists and YouTubers.
This time, Rahul does not know to what extent he can go. For the moment, the entire rigmarole is to prove, “Meri Kameez Teri Kameez Se Zyada Safed Hai” (My shirt is whiter than yours).

SpaceX के CEO और Starlink के मालिक एलन मस्क ने भारत सरकार की टेलीकॉम नीति पर सवाल उठाया है. एलन मस्क ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि भारत में कुछ चुनिंदा उद्योगपति इंटरनेट पर एकाधिकार रखना चाहते हैं, ये लोग स्टारलिंक की लॉन्चिंग रोकने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए, स्टारलिंक को भारत में काम करने से रोकना भारत की जनता के साथ अपराध है.
भारत सरकार के संचार मंत्रालय ने तुरंत जवाब दिया. सरकार ने कहा कि भारत में टेलीकॉम ऑपरेटर्स के लिए नियम कानून सब के लिए बराबर हैं, जो इस सेक्टर में आना चाहता है उसे बुनियादी शर्तें पूरी करनी होंगी, लाइसेंस के लिए किसी भी satcom को डेटा सिक्योरिटी स्टैंडर्ड्स का पालन करना जरूरी है, नियम सबके लिए बराबर हैं, भारत सरकार किसी भी कंपनी को लाइसेंस देने में भेदभाव नहीं करती. भारत सरकार ने सख्त रुख दिखाया तो स्टारलिंक के सुर भी बदल गए.
स्टारलिंक बिजनेस ऑपरेशंस की वाइस प्रेसिडेंट लॉरेन ड्रेयर ने कहा कि उनकी कंपनी भारत की टेलीकॉम कंपनियों के साथ मिल कर काम करना चाहती है और भारत के लोगों का डेटा भारत में ही रखने को तैयार है. लॉरेन ड्रेयर ने कहा, स्टारलिंक 165 देशों में काम कर रहा है, हर देश में भरोसेमंद कनेक्टिविटी दे रहा है, वह भारत में भी सर्विस देने के लिए तैयार है, इसके लिए उसने एयरटेल, जियो समेत कई कंपनियों के साथ MOU साइन किए हैं.
लॉरेन ड्रेयर ने कहा कि भारत की डिमांड के मुताबिक उन्होंने खास स्टारलिंक ऑपरेशंस तैयार कर लिए हैं, इन ऑपरेशंस में हर लेवल पर कंट्रोल सिस्टम तैयार किया गया है. वो ये भी सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि भारतीय उपभोक्ताओं का डेटा भारत से बाहर ना जाए. Starlink भारत में आ सकती है, भारतीय कंपनियों के साथ उसके agreements हैं, पर भारत में अगर काम करना है तो यहां के क़ानून का पालन करना होगा. कोई कंपनी चाहे कितनी भी बड़ी हो, ये नहीं हो सकता कि वो भारत के data का इस्तेमाल करे और क़ानून अमेरिका का माने.
इस मामले में सरकार की नीति बिल्कुल साफ है कि जो नियम बाक़ी के लिए हैं, वही एलन मस्क के लिए भी लागू होंगे. ये बात एलन मस्क भी समझ गए हैं. इसीलिए पहले एलन मस्क ने एक ट्वीट किया जिसमें मोदी सरकार को निशाने पर लिया. मस्क ने लिखा कि स्टार लिंक को भारत में लाइसेंस क्यों नहीं दिया जा रहा? क्या अंबानी भारत के असली बॉस हैं? एलन मस्क के इस ट्वीट को राहुल गांधी ने तुरंत री-ट्वीट किया और लिखा कि एलन मस्क, भारत में तुम्हारा स्वागत है, बस थोड़ा इंतजार कीजिए.
मोदी ने बताया साइबर क्राइम, डीपफेक का खतरा
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इंडियन मोबाइल कांग्रेस में दुनिया भर के देशों से अपील की कि साइबर क्राइम, डीपफेक को रोकने के लिए एक global framework तैयार किया जाए. मोदी ने कहा कि हमें टेक्नोलॉजी के साथ चलना भी है और इसके ख़तरों से बचना भी है, ये वक़्त का तकाज़ा है.
मोदी ने कहा कि मोबाइल फोन ने भारत में आम आदमी की जिंदगी को आसान बनाया, बिचौलियों का धंधा बंद किया, सरकारी पैसे के लीकेज को रोकने का हथियार बना लेकिन साथ ही मोबाइल के जरिए साइबर क्राइम को बढ़ावा मिला है. आंकड़े गवाह हैं कि cyber crime ने कितने लोगों को लूटा है, कितने बुज़ुर्ग और महिलाएं cyber fraud की शिकार हुईं. कई परिवार बर्बाद हो गए.
Deepfake के ज़रिए फ़र्ज़ी वीडियो बनाकर लोगों की ज़िंदगी मुश्किल करना आम बात हो गई है. कल ही मैंने आपको बताया था कि दिल्ली पुलिस के एक अफ़सर का फ़र्ज़ी वीडियो बनाया गया, AI का इस्तेमाल करके उसे एक महिला को molest करते दिखाया, ये वीडियो वायरल हुआ. सोचिए उस पुलिस अफ़सर और उसके परिवार पर क्या बीती होगी ? AI ने fake क़ानून बना दिए, सुप्रीम कोर्ट को धोखा देने की कोशिश की, AI ने celebrities के फ़र्ज़ी video बना दिए, सामान बेचने की कोशिश की, AI के ज़रिए investors को ठगा गया. लेकिन ये सिर्फ़ शुरुआती दौर है. आज दुनिया के बड़े-बड़े experts मानते हैं कि AI एक खतरनाक टेक्नोलॉजी है, इससे झूठे narrative फैलाए जा सकते हैं. इससे लोगों में बेचैनी पैदा की जा सकती है. ये पूरी मानवता को बर्बाद कर सकती है. ख़तरा बड़ा है इसलिए आप जो भी वीडियो देखें, उस पर बिना सोचे समझे विश्वास ना करें, अपनी भावनाओं को न भड़कने दें.
राहुल की कॉकरोच से टक्कर : ‘मेरी क़मीज़ तेरी क़मीज़ से ज़्यादा सफ़ेद’
राहुल गांधी ने INDIA bloc के नेताओं को कल कनॉट प्लेस में लंच पर बुलाया, उसके बाद बसों में सवार हो कर राजघाट गये और वहां कुछ समय के लिए धरना दिया. दिल्ली पुलिस ने समझदारी से काम लिया. राहुल को ड्रामा करने का मौका ही नहीं दिया. कांग्रेस के साथ आरजेडी, समाजवादी पार्टी, टीएमसी और लेफ्ट फ्रंट के सांसद पहुंचे. लेकिन इस चक्कर में जबरदस्त ट्रैफिक जाम लग गया.
पांच हजार से ज्यादा यात्रियों की ट्रेन छूट गई. तीन घंटे तक लोग ट्रैफिक में फंसे रहे. जो लोग कह रहे हैं कि राहुल गांधी अब आक्रामक हो गए हैं, सड़क पर उतर कर राजनीति करने लगे हैं, उन्हें याद करना होगा कि राहुल के लिए पुलिस के साथ लुकाछुपी खेलना कोई नई बात नहीं है. ये उनकी पुरानी आदत है. 15 साल पहले ग्रेटर नोएडा के पास भट्टा पारसौल में राहुल ने बाइक पर बैठ कर पुलिस को चकमा दिया था और बहुत ख़ुश हुए थे. 2020 में हाथरस में राहुल, प्रियंका की जोड़ी के क़ाफ़िले को पुलिस ने रोक दिया था. दोनों भाई-बहन पैदल निकल पड़े थे. उस समय राहुल गिर भी गए और बाद में पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया.
2022 में नैशनल हेराल्ड के केस में जब ED ने एक्शन लिया तो राहुल ने कांग्रेस के सांसदों के साथ विजय चौक पर इसी तरह धरना दिया था. पुलिस से आंख बचाकर राष्ट्रपति भवन जाने का प्लान बनाया था. तब भी मोदी पर ED और पुलिस के दुरुपयोग का आरोप लगाया था. इसीलिए आकाशवाणी में धरना, जंतर-मंतर जाने की कोशिश, सड़क पर लेटना, फिर राजघाट पर प्रोटेस्ट कोई नई बात नहीं है. ये पहले भी हो चुका है. इस बार मुक़ाबला Cockroach Janta Party से है. उनके साथ वामपंथियों की फ़ौज है, Youtubers का हुजूम है. इसलिए राहुल को पता नहीं कि उन्हें किस हद तक जाना पड़ेगा. फ़िलहाल तो सारा चक्कर ये साबित करने का है कि “ मेरी क़मीज़ तेरी क़मीज़ से ज़्यादा सफ़ेद है”.
Why do people elect Modi again and again?
Narendra Modi has set a new record. On October 7, 2026, he completed 25 years as head of governments in Gujarat and Centre. Modi said, “for me, mission is bigger than ambition… I live for my mission, my mission is to see a Viksit Bharat in 2047.”
To achieve this, he gave the slogan, “we will do it”. He said that a day will come when people across the world will watch Made in India planes. Modi said, he was never in the electoral race till 2001.
“I used to canvass for my party but never contested myself. When I was given the responsibility of Chief Minister, we got the blessings of the people of Gujarat, whenever elections were held.”
How did Modi manage to remain in power for 25 years? What is the secret behind his electoral successes ? If opposition leaders want to know the secret, they should first watch how much work he does, and in what manner, to know how Modi is different from others.
In the last 25 years, Modi never followed the traditional style of politics. He taught his party workers how to contest from the grassroots. He changed the political lexicon. But most of our opposition leaders still follow the traditional style of politics. This is the reason why they failed to defeat Modi.
Modi worked for decades in villages, small towns and cities for his party. He later implemented whatever he learned from the grassroots. Modi understood the bare necessities of women living in villages – a toilet and cooking gas.
He knew the pulse of the nation when he decided to abrogate Article 370 and build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He replied to Pakistan in its own language. He uprooted Maoist rebels. He understood the importance of bank accounts and loans for a poor man. He implemented GST, UPI reforms to transform the way small shopkeepers and vendors transact with customers.
For the new age, he understood the importance of data centers and semi-conductor industry. Whether it is the United States or China, Modi never compromised with national self-respect. Indians living abroad can vouch for this.
From his own experiences, Modi knew the problems that common people face. He worked on solutions. When a leader will try to solve people’s problems relating to electricity, water supply from taps, and hospital expenses, why won’t he get support from the public?
The faces of railway stations, roads, expressways, ports and airports have undergone changes. People are noticing it. A leader’s mettle is tested in times of crisis. During Covid epidemic, manufacturing 220 crore vaccines and ensuring that they are given to people and providing free foodgrains to 80 crore people, are not easy tasks.
When a leader works on such a humungous level, why won’t people lend him support? I have not seen any other leader who toils so hard, makes minute-by-minute planning.
One should not be surprised if Modi continues to be in command for another 25 years.
Is Rahul competing with Cockroach Party?
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is pursuing the path of ‘hungama’. On Tuesday, he staged an impromptu dharna inside Akashvani premises. On Wednesday, he staged a drama near Jantar Mantar. Today, he and other opposition MPs are heading to Raj Ghat to stage dharna.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi was engaged in scuffles with police, before being taken into custody. It seems a one-upmanship battle is in progress between Congress and Cockroach Janata Party.
CJP had announced that its activists would stage protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday October 10, whether or not it gets permission from Delhi Police. Rahul Gandhi, who had been insisting on meeting the election commissioners on Tuesday, promptly changed his tune and planned a sit-in at Jantar Mantar.
In July, when the NEET paper leak issue was at its peak, Delhi Police had given permission to CJP to stage dharna at Jantar Mantar. The police permission letter was handed over to CJP leaders at Delhi airport. This time, Congress is trying to pre-empt this.
If police cannot allow Congress to sit at Jantar Mantar, how can it allow CJP to stage protest at the same site? In July, CJP not only got permission to stage dharna, the Centre sent two ministers to meet CJP leaders, following which Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned.
The credit for Pradhan’s resignation went to CJP. At that time, Congress leaders felt that it was Rahul who had raised the NEET paper leak issue initially, staged protest near the PM’s residence, but he lost the perception battle with CJP. This time, on ECI issue, the Congress wants to ensure that it doesn’t let its upper hand slip away.
Why is united opposition actually divided?
There is competition going on between opposition parties over the issue of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Yesterday, Aam Aadmi Party workers led by Saurabh Bharadwaj staged protest outside the Chief Electoral Office in Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate.
They were demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation. Soon after the AAP protest was over, activists of Left parties staged protest at the same place against Gyanesh Kumar. After their protest was over, Congress’ student wing NSUI activists staged anti-CEC protest.
Broadly, the protests against the Election Commission have now been divided into three parts. On one hand is the CJP, which wants to start a movement of younger generation, with the help of left parties’ eco-system and cadre, and an army of YouTubers in place.
Earlier, this used to be the ‘forte’ of Aam Aadmi Party. But AAP is now fighting its battle for political survival. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, earlier, had the support of Mamata Banerjee and Uddhav Thackeray, but both of them have now switched to Congress camp.
The Congress wants to keep the movement against Gyanesh Kumar fully under its grip. The party did not reveal its plan to its ally Samajwadi Party yesterday. Already, DMK is unhappy with the Congress and has stayed away from the INDIA alliance. AAP has opened its separate shop.
So, when Rahul Gandhi claims that he has the support of nearly 300 opposition MPs in the battle against ECI, the ground reality is, Congress has been reduced to a third faction. At a time when all opposition parties are unanimous on Gyanesh Kumar issue, the battle in the streets looks fragmented.
जनता बार बार मोदी को क्यों चुनती है?
नरेन्द्र मोदी ने एक नया रिकॉर्ड बनाया. गुजरात और केंद्र में शासन प्रमुख के तौर पर लगातार काम करते उन्हें 25 साल हो गए. मोदी का कहना है कि वह ambition के लिए नहीं, मिशन के लिए जीते हैं और उनका मिशन है, 2047 तक विकसित भारत.
मोदी ने कहा एक दिन आएगा जब दुनिया भर में Made in India planes उड़ान भरेंगे. मोदी 25 साल से सत्ता में क्यों हैं? मोदी बार-बार चुनाव कैसे जीतते हैं? अगर विपक्षी दलों के नेता मोदी के इस रहस्य को जानना चाहते हैं, तो पहले उन्हें ये देखना होगा कि मोदी कितना काम करते हैं? कैसे करते हैं? मोदी इतने अलग क्यों हैं? पिछले 25 साल में मोदी ने कभी परंपरागत तरीक़े से राजनीति नहीं की. उन्होंने चुनाव में पार्टी को, कार्यकर्ताओं को जीत का मंत्र दिया, ज़मीन पर लड़ना सिखाया, राजनीति का अंदाज़ बदला, लेकिन सारे विरोधी आज भी पुरानी पारम्परिक शैली में राजनीति करते हैं, इसलिए मोदी को मात नहीं दे पाते.
मोदी ने बरसों तक गांव-गांव, गली-गली की ख़ाक छानी है. वहां जो सीखा उसे लागू किया. उन्होंने महिलाओं के लिए शौचालय और रसोई गैस की ज़रूरत को समझा. मोदी ने धारा 370 और राम मंदिर पर देश के मिज़ाज को पहचाना. पाकिस्तान को उसी की भाषा में जवाब दिया. नक्सलवाद का खात्मा किया. मोदी ने बैंक खातों और कर्ज़ के महत्व को पहचाना. GST, UPI जैसे सुधार किए. नए ज़माने के हिसाब से data center और semi-conductor की अहमियत को समझा.
चाहे अमेरिका हो या चीन, मोदी ने कभी आत्मसम्मान से समझौता नहीं किया. दुनिया भर में रहने वाले भारतीय इसके गवाह हैं. मोदी ने अपने अनुभव से जाना कि जनता को क्या परेशान करता है? उसका solution क्या है? घर में बिजली, नल से जल, अस्पताल का ख़र्चा, जब कोई जनता की समस्याओं के बारे में इतना सोचेगा, इतना करेगा, तो वोट क्यों नहीं मिलेंगे? देश के port, airport, सड़कें, रेलवे स्टेशन किस क़दर बदले हैं, ये दिखाई देता है.
किसी भी लीडर की पहचान संकट के समय में होती है. कोविड महामारी इसका एक बड़ा उदाहरण है. 220 करोड़ रुपये की vaccine बनाना और लगवाना, 80 करोड़ लोगों को भोजन पहुंचाना, कोई साधारण काम नहीं है. जो लीडर इस अंदाज़ में काम करेगा, पब्लिक उसे सपोर्ट क्यों नहीं करेगी? मैंने दुनिया में इतनी मेहनत करने वाला, अपने एक-एक मिनट की प्लानिंग करने वाला कोई दूसरा लीडर नहीं देखा. इसीलिए मोदी अगले 25 साल तक इसी तरह कमान संभाले रहें, तो किसी को आश्चर्य नहीं होना चाहिए.
क्या राहुल कॉकरोच पार्टी से मुकाबला कर रहे हैं?
राहुल गांधी हंगामे की राह पर ही चल रहे हैं. परसों आकाशवाणी भवन परिसर में ड्रामा किया, कल जंतर मंतर जाने के लिए ड्रामा किया और आज फिर कनाट प्लेस में ड्रामा करने की तैयारी है. राहुल पुलिस से भिड़े, चार घंटे तक ट्रैफिक बंद रहा. आखिर में पुलिस को सख्ती करनी पड़ी. राहुल और प्रियंका गांधी समेत कांग्रेस के नेताओं को बसों में लाद कर हटाया गया.
ऐसा लगा कि कांग्रेस अब कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी के साथ one-upmanship (एक दूसरे से आगे निकलने) की लड़ाई लड़ रही है. CJP ने कहा था कि पुलिस की अनुमति मिले या ना मिले, उसके लोग शनिवार 10 अक्टूबर को जंतर-मंतर पर चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ प्रोटेस्ट करेंगे. जो राहुल गांधी परसों तक चुनाव आयोग जाने की ज़िद पर अड़े थे, कल उन्होंने जंतर मंतर पर जाने का प्लान बना लिया.
पिछली बार जब NEET का मसला उठा था तो पुलिस ने CJP को जंतर-मंतर पर धरने की अनुमति दी थी, एयरपोर्ट पर ही चिट्ठी थमा दी गई थी. कांग्रेस ने इस बार इसी को pre-empt किया. पुलिस ने कांग्रेस को जंतर-मंतर जाने से रोका तो CJP को जंतर मंतर जाने के लिए परमिशन कैसे देगी ? पिछली बार CJP को न सिर्फ़ धरने की परमिशन मिली, NEET के मसले पर सरकार ने उनके नेताओं से बात भी की, और शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफ़े का श्रेय भी CJP को मिल गया. तब भी कांग्रेस को लगा था कि NEET का मुद्दा राहुल गांधी ने पहले उठाया, ख़ूब शोर भी मचाया, प्रधानमंत्री के घर के बाहर प्रोटेस्ट भी किया लेकिन perception की लड़ाई में वो कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी से हार गई. इस बार चुनाव आयोग के मसले पर कांग्रेस की कोशिश है कि वो बाज़ी अपने हाथ से न निकलने दे.
विपक्ष दिखता एक है, पर टुकड़े अनेक हैं
मज़े की बात ये है कि विरोधी दलों में भी कंपिटीशन चल रहा है. एक तरफ राहुल गांधी जंतर मंतर पर पुलिस से भिड़ रहे थे, उसी दिन, उसी वक्त आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता कश्मीरी गेट में दिल्ली चुनाव आयोग के दफ्तर के बाहर ‘ज्ञानेश कुमार इस्तीफा दो’ के नारे लगा रहे थे. जैसे ही आम आदमी पार्टी का प्रोटेस्ट खत्म हुआ, तो उसी जगह पर वाम दलों के कार्यकर्ता पहुंच गए. उन्होंने भी ज्ञानेश कुमार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की.
लेफ्ट का प्रोटेस्ट खत्म हुआ तो कांग्रेस की NSUI के कार्यकर्ता दिल्ली चुनाव आयोग के दफ्तर के बाहर प्रोटेस्ट करने पहुंच गए. चुनाव आयोग के ख़िलाफ़ प्रोटेस्ट मुख्य रूप से तीन भागों में अब बंट गया है. एक तरफ़ CJP है, जो इसे युवा पीढ़ी का आंदोलन बनाना चाहती है. उनके साथ वाम दलों का eco-system और cadre है. Youtubers की फ़ौज है. पहले ये आम आदमी पार्टी की ताकत (forte) हुआ करती थी. अब आम आदमी पार्टी अपने अस्तित्व को बचाने की लड़ाई लड़ रही है.
अरविंद केजरीवाल को पहले ममता बनर्जी का समर्थन था, उद्धव ठाकरे का साथ था पर अब ये सब कांग्रेस के साथ चले गए हैं. कांग्रेस चुनाव आयोग के ख़िलाफ़ आंदोलन को अपने नियंत्रण में रखना चाहती है. कल के प्रोटेस्ट की जानकारी समाजवादी पार्टी से छिपाई गई. DMK वैसे भी राहुल गांधी से ख़फ़ा है. आम आदमी पार्टी ने अपनी अलग दुकान खोली हुई है. इसलिए राहुल गांधी दावा तो 300 सांसदों का करते हैं पर हक़ीक़त में कांग्रेस इसका तीसरा faction बनकर रह गई है. जिस मुद्दे पर ज़्यादातर विरोधी दल एकमत हैं, उस पर भी सड़क की लड़ाई बंटी हुई है.
Why Congress lost polls? Vote Chori or Kaam Chori?
After a day-long drama and dharna on Sansad Marg yesterday, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi hosted opposition leaders and MPs to a lunch at a restaurant on Janpath.
Soon after the lunch, the opposition MPs proceeded in buses towards Jantar Mantar to stage dharna in another round of drama. The MPs were carrying placards against Election Commission inside their buses.
Huge security arrangements were made near Jantar Mantar. Yesterday, Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi and several other Congress leaders, who sat under a tree inside Akashwani Bhavan complex, demanded that 240 Opposition Mps be allowed to meet the three election commissioners.
When ECI said there was lack of space in Nirvachan Sadan, Congress suggested a meeting in Parliament Annexe. This was rejected by ECI on grounds of protocol and tradition. The ECI said it was ready to take a memorandum from the opposition. The Congress refused.
Late in the evening, while arrangements were being made by Congress for a nightlong dharna in Akashwani Bhavan, Delhi Police swooped and took Rahul, Priyanka and other Congress leaders into custody. They were taken in buses to a police station where they were released. Delhi Police took 15 minutes to end the dharna drama.
The question is, why was Rahul eager to meet CEC Gyanesh Kumar, whom he was labelling as a BJP agent and murderer of democracy? If he was keen for a meeting, why didn’t he seek an appointment? The desire to meet Gyanesh Kumar was only an excuse.
Rahul Gandhi wanted to create a row and spread the impression that his party lost elections because Gyanesh Kumar helped BJP. Facts speak otherwise. Gyanesh Kumar became CEC on February 19, 2025. Congress had lost Lok Sabha polls thrice prior to that; it had lost several assembly elections too.
In any case, Gyanesh Kumar is going to retire before 2029 Lok Sabha elections. So, for the Congress, Gyanesh Kumar is nothing but a pawn on a political chessboard. It’s a strategy to deflect people’s attention from the real reasons behind the defeat.
The excuse that Congress lost elections because of ‘vote chori’ cannot be swallowed by the general public. For political parties, the charge of ‘vote chori’ can be an excuse, a curtain to hide the real cause of defeat, but it is difficult for the public to accept this.
Why did Gyanesh Kumar fail to convince Opposition?
It is a fact that there have been several lapses in the working of the Election Commission. Opposition parties are levelling charges of ‘vote chori’. Three or four questions are being raised.
The first charge is that CEC Gyanesh Kumar did not listen to his other two election commissioners and arbitrarily took decisions on SIR.
The second charge relates to changes in Form 6. It is alleged that Gyanesh Kumar made several changes in Form 6 to disallow voting rights to new voters, which is illegal.
The third charge is that names of nearly 13 crore voters were deleted to benefit the BJP. On behalf of BJP, its spokesperson Sambit Patra replied point by point. Patra said, Congress had been losing elections even before Gyanesh Kumar became CEC.
The replies given by the BJP, should have been given by the CEC Gyanesh Kumar, much earlier. Ensuring free and fair election is not only the responsibility of the Election Commission. At the same time, ECI must show to the world that its electoral process is transparent.
The ECI could have shown that holding of SIR (Special Intensive Revision) for electoral rolls is not a wrongful act. The world over, thousands of voters die or shift residences, and there is nothing wrong in removing their names from the electoral rolls.
This is a natural democratic process which the opposition parties had been demanding since long. But a healthy precedent should have been for the ECI to gain the trust of all political parties and convince them about the validity of this process.
Gyanesh Kumar missed the mark here. Just issuing a love letter is not enough. It is also essential for love to be felt in a democracy. It is not enough for the cup of voters’ list to be full. The cup of trust must also brim over.
कांग्रेस चुनाव क्यों हारी? वोट चोरी या काम चोरी?
संसद मार्ग पर कल दिन भर के ड्रामा के बाद प्रतिपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी ने विरोधी दलों के सांसदों के लिए आज दिल्ली में लंच दिया. Chief Election Commissioner के बारे में आगे की रणनीति पर बातचीत की.
कल अखिलेश यादव, अभिषेक बनर्जी और अन्य विपक्षी सांसदों ने मार्च निकाला, पुलिस उन्हें बसों में ले गई और बाद में छोड़ दिया. लेकिन राहुल, प्रियंका गांधी और कांग्रेस के कई नेता आकाशवाणी भवन परिसर में घुस गये और बरगद के पेड़ के नीचे 8 घंटे तक धरने पर बैठ गए. उनकी मांग थी कि तीनों चुनाव आयुक्तों से 240 विपक्षी सांसद मिलना चाहते हैं.
चुनाव आयोग से कहा गया कि पार्लियामेंट एनेक्सी में ये मुलाकात हो. तीनों चुनाव आयुक्तों ने परिपाटी और प्रोटोकॉल का हवाला देते हुए इनकार कर दिया, कहा कि वे एक शिष्टमंडल से ज्ञापन लेने को तैयार हैं. राहुल और प्रियंका गांधी का धरना जारी रहा. आकाशवाणी भवन में दिनभर डेरा डाले रहे, रात भर हंगामे का इंतज़ाम था, गद्दे, तकिए, चादर सब का बंदोबस्त हो गया था, खाना-पीना भी चल रहा था और ज़िद ये थी कि जब तक तीनों चुनाव आयुक्तों से मुलाक़ात नहीं होती तब तक धरना जारी रहेगा.
कांग्रेस के नेता इसे ‘धप्पा पॉलिटिक्स’ बता रहे हैं. दिल्ली पुलिस ने तब धावा बोला, राहुल और प्रियंका समेत कांग्रेस के नेताओं को हिरासत में लिया और किंग्सवे कैंप ले गई. इस तरह रात को ड्रामा खत्म हुआ. पुलिस ने 15 मिनट के अंदर धरना खत्म कर दिया. जिन ज्ञानेश कुमार को राहुल गांधी BJP का एजेंट और लोकतंत्र का हत्यारा बता रहे हैं, उनसे मिलने को राहुल इतने बेताब क्यों थे ? और अगर मिलना ही था तो appointment क्यों नहीं मांगी? इसलिए ज्ञानेश कुमार से मिलने की बात तो बहाना थी, राहुल को हंगामा खड़ा करना था, ये impression create करना था कि वो बार-बार चुनाव इसलिए हारे क्योंकि ज्ञानेश कुमार ने BJP की मदद की. लेकिन ज्ञानेश कुमार 19 फरवरी 2025 को मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त बने.
उससे पहले कांग्रेस तीन लोकसभा चुनाव हार चुकी थी, अनेक विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस की हार हो चुकी थी. वैसे भी ज्ञानेश कुमार अगले लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले retire हो जाएंगे, इसलिए कांग्रेस के लिए ज्ञानेश कुमार तो राजनीति का एक मोहरा हैं. कहीं पे निगाहें कहीं पे निशाना है. इसीलिए ‘वोट चोरी’ के कारण कांग्रेस चुनाव हारी, ये आरोप जनता के गले नहीं उतरता. ये राजनीतिक दलों के लिए बहाना हो सकता है, अपनी हार को छुपाने का पर्दा तो हो सकता है, पर पब्लिक इस पर भरोसा करेगी, ये मुश्किल लगता है.
ज्ञानेश विरोधी दलों का विश्वास क्यों नहीं जीत पाए?
ये सही है कि चुनाव आयोग के काम करने के तरीक़े में कई ख़ामियां हैं. विरोधी दलों के नेता वोट चोरी का आरोप लगा रहे हैं. इसे लेकर तीन चार सवाल पूछे जा रहे हैं. पहला आरोप ये है कि ज्ञानेश कुमार ने आयोग के दूसरे सदस्यों की बात नहीं सुनी, मनमाने तरीके से SIR को लेकर फैसले किए. दूसरा आरोप फॉर्म-6 को लेकर है. आरोप है कि ज्ञानेश कुमार ने नौजवानों का वोट कटाने के लिए फॉर्म-6 में बदलाव किया जो गैरकानूनी है. तीसरा आरोप ये है कि तेरह करोड़ वोटर्स के नाम बीजेपी को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए काटे गए. इन सारे सवालों के जवाब बीजेपी की तरफ से संबित पात्रा ने सिलसिलेवार तरीके से दिए.
संबित पात्रा ने कहा कि ज्ञानेश कुमार जब CEC बने, उससे पहले ही कांग्रेस हार रही थी. जिन सवालों के जवाब कल BJP ने दिए, उनके उत्तर दरअसल मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त को देने चाहिए थे और बहुत पहले दे देने चाहिए थे. चुनाव आयोग की ज़िम्मेदारी है कि न केवल निष्पक्ष चुनाव कराए, बल्कि ये दिखाए कि चुनाव पारदर्शी तरीके से हुए, SIR कराना ग़लत नहीं है, जो लोग दुनिया से चले गए या कहीं shift हो गए, उनके वोट काटना भी ग़लत नहीं है.
ये एक natural democratic process है जिसकी मांग विरोधी दल भी समय समय पर करते रहे हैं. लेकिन ये काम करते समय सारे राजनीतिक दलों को इस process के बारे में विश्वास में लेना, उन्हें convince करना एक स्वस्थ परंपरा है. इसका निर्वाह होना चाहिए. लेकिन ज्ञानेश कुमार इसमें चूक गए. सिर्फ़ love letter जारी करना काफ़ी नहीं होता. लोकतंत्र में प्यार झलकना भी ज़रूरी होता है. वोटर्स लिस्ट का प्याला भरा हो, दुरुस्त हो, इतना काफ़ी नहीं है. विश्वास छलकना भी ज़रूरी होता है.
Why is opposition reluctant to praise Capt. Smit ?
Fresh disclosures reveal how the terrorist Omani pilot Hammam al-Hammami was planning to carry out an air crash on an Israeli airport for the last three years.
He admitted to UAE investigators that he had planned to carry out a similar air crash last year, but backed out at the last minute when he came to know that his relatives were in the aircraft. Hammami wangled a pilot’s job in flydubai when he came to know that it operates flights to Tel Aviv.
He started his terror preparations. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the hero of this story, Indian pilot Smit Machchar, on phone. Smit told him how when the flight took off, Hammami told him he wanted to offer namaz. He left the co-pilot seat, sat on the floor to offer namaz, and then suddenly attacked Smit from behind with a crash axe.
“Before I could understand what’s happening, Hammami continued to attack with the axe. I fell on the floor. I felt like passing out, and my vision went blurry. I knew the plane was fast losing height and Hammami wanted the plane to crash. I mustered strength, opened the cockpit door, but Hammami shut the door and attacked me again. “I again gathered courage and opened the cockpit door. By this time, passengers came in and overpowered the attacker”, Smit told Netanyahu.
These were the initial scary moments. Humanity had been put to shame, but those displaying spirit of humanity saved the plane from crashing, saving 180 lives. Al-Hammami is presently in UAE custody and investigators are questioning him.
The Israeli PM has raised several questions. He asked how an Omani national was allowed to fly the aircraft when Israel has no diplomatic relations with Oman. He said, Hammami may not be alone behind this and Israeli intelligence will go deep into the matter.
Meanwhile, Australian Counter-terrorism Unit is gathering details about Hammami who had studied for 10 years in RMIT University, Melbourne. It was there that he was indoctrinated to extremism. People, cutting across parties, in Israel are praising Capt Smit Machchar for preventing a 9/11 type attack.
Big billboards have come up in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and other cities. On some billboards, it is written in Hindi, “Dhanyavad Nayak” (Thank You, Hero) Netanyahu invited Capt Smit to come to Israel to join Israel Independence Day celebrations and light the torch of traditional festivities.
Capt Smit is recovering at the UAE military hospital. There can be no doubts that Hamman al-Hammami’s motive was dangerous. He was planning for last three years. His plan was not to target 180 passengers, but also to carry out a 9/11 strike near Tel Aviv airport.
Sadly, Hammami chose the time of namaz for carrying out his attack. Capt. Smit recited Hanuman Chalisa when he was felled by the axe. Smit is being hailed as a hero across the world. But sadly, there are people and parties in India who are refraining from praising him.
Till now, no social media post has come from the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi praising the Indian pilot. Even the official handles of Indian National Congress made no mention of this pilot. Most of the opposition leaders are also silent.
I am amazed that some people have divided even Smit’s bravery into Hindu-Muslim, and into Palestine and Israel. Why do some people find it difficult to praise the pilot who saved 180 lives by acting as an angel? Is it because his attacker was a Muslim?
Is it because Capt Smit was chanting Hanuman Chalisa? Is it because Smit saved the lives of mostly Israeli passengers? Are Israelis not human beings? Maybe some had problems, some had political compulsions, but can we not show pride in the valour of an Indian. And if we do have pride in our heart, can’t we express it?
Because of this brave Indian pilot, India’s prestige soared high across the world, and the chest of every Indian swelled with pride. It is unfortunate that some of us are refraining from speaking a single word of praise for this hero only because of politics and vote bank.
Is SC being pressurized for instant order against CEC?
The Supreme Court on Monday refused to suspend Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar saying it cannot give an ex-parte interim order suspending the CEC based on media reports.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana issued notice to the Election Commission of India and the Centre, seeking their detailed responses within a week to a plea challenging the manner in which the poll panel, led by CEC Gyanesh Kumar, allegedly took certain decisions without the approval of the other two Election Commissioners.
The bench said, if it is found that the ECI took vital decisions without overall consent of ECs, then these can be withdrawn, but first it is necessary to go through the ECI’s response and records. The apex court also clarified that it never approved any changes to Form-6. The court will find out how these changes took place.
A day ago, speaking at the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Supreme Court judge Ujjal Bhuyan had said, any process that takes away the voting rights of a huge number of Indian citizens can be called “a negation of the constitutional order”.
He asserted that “no authority can do it; no court can condone it”. Justice Bhuyan said, “The Indian Constitution does not provide for two classes of citizens: citizens with voting rights and citizens without voting rights.” Congress and other opposition parties hailed Justice Bhuyan’s observations.
What the Supreme Court did yesterday was normal. How can the apex court pass an interim order based on newspaper reports without seeking replies from CEC and the other two ECs? There are a large number of lawyers and activists who try to put pressure on the apex court. On every case, they insist on listening to the other’s viewpoint before passing any order, but in their own cases, they insist on ex-parte order.
Why this dual standard? There is one more aspect. These lawyers say, when a matter is before the Supreme Court, government must not take any step till a verdict is given, but the same persons go to the streets to create pressure and do not consider this as wrong.
A sitting judge of SC, a day before the hearing, raised questions about ECI, and those who filed the case about CEC were in high spirits. But had any sitting SC judge taken the side of ECI a day before such a hearing, they would have raised a big uproar.
Law is equal for all. It will be better if all those opposing ECI come forth with their arguments and documents before the Supreme Court, so that truth can prevail.
विपक्ष जांबाज़ कैप्टन की तारीफ से क्यों कतराया?
फ्लाई दुबई के आतंकी ओमानी पायलट हमाम अल-हम्मामी के ख़ौफ़नाक इरादों के बारे में नये राज़ पता चले हैं. उसके ख़तरनाक इरादों की पूरी कुंडली सामने आ गई है. ये ओमानी पायलट एक ट्रेन्ड जिहादी है. उसने पहले भी एक बार इसी तरह विमान क्रैश कराने की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन उस प्लेन में उसका कोई करीबी सफर कर रहा था और उसने इरादा छोड़ दिया.
इंसानियत के इस दुश्मन से UAE की agencies पूछताछ कर रही हैं. इस शैतान ने पूछताछ में जो ख़ुलासे किए हैं, वो हैरान करने वाले हैं. वह इज़राइल जाने वाली flight को crash कराने की planning कई साल से कर रहा था. ऐसी एयरलाइन में pilot बनना चाहता था, जो इज़राइल तक जाती हो. हम्मामी ने पूरी planning के साथ Flydubai में नौकरी हासिल की.
भारतीय कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार ने इज़राइल के पीएम नेतन्याहू को बताया कि हम्मामी नमाज़ के बहाने cockpit में अपनी सीट से उठा, उसने नमाज पढ़ी और उसके बाद कैप्टन स्मित पर crash axe से हमला किया. कैप्टन स्मित ने नेतन्याहू को फोन पर बताया कि जब प्लेन को टेकऑफ हुए कुछ घंटे हो गए तब को-पायलट ने नमाज़ पढ़ने की इच्छा जाहिर की. स्मित ने उसकी बात पर भरोसा किया और उसे नमाज के लिए जगह दी, वो दूसरी तरफ मुड़ गए और अपना काम करने लगे. लेकिन कुछ ही मिनट बाद उनके सिर पर पीछे से जोरदार हमला हुआ. जब तक स्मित कुछ समझ पाते, हम्मामी कुल्हाड़ी से उन पर लगातार तब तक वार करता रहा, जब तक कि स्मित अपनी सीट से नीचे नहीं गिर गए.
स्मित ने इज़राइली पीएम को बताया कि जब वो घायल होकर नीचे गिर गए, काफी खून बह चुका था, बेहोशी जैसी हालत हो गई थी, सब कुछ धुंधला-सा नज़र आ रहा था, लेकिन स्मित ये समझ रहे थे कि प्लेन नीचे की तरफ जा रहा है, हम्मामी प्लेन को क्रैश कराने जा रहा है. तब स्मित ने पूरी हिम्मत जुटा कर कॉकपिट का दरवाजा खोल दिया लेकिन हम्मामी ने दोबारा गेट बंद कर दिया और उन पर फिर से हमला किया. स्मित ने यात्रियों की जान बचाने के लिए एक बार फिर हिम्मत जुटाई और दोबारा कॉकपिट का गेट खोल दिया, इस बार दरवाजा खुलते ही यात्री अंदर घुस गए और हमलावर को दबोच लिया. तो ये थे खतरे के वो चंद पल.
इंसानियत शर्मसार हो चुकी थी, इंसानियत का जज़्बा दिखाने वालों ने प्लेन को गिरने से बचा लिया और 180 जानें बच गई. फिलहाल अल-हम्मामी संयुक्त अरब अमीरात की जेल में है, यूएई की पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर रही है. लेकिन बेंजामिन नेतन्याहू ने कई सवाल उठाए हैं. उन्होंने पूछा कि ओमान के साथ इजराइल के कूटनीतिक संबंध नहीं हैं, तो ओमानी पायलट को प्लेन चलाने की अनुमति कैसे दी गई. नेतन्याहू ने कहा है कि आतंकी हमले की कोशिश के पीछे हम्मामी अकेला नहीं था, इसलिए इजराइल इस घटना की पूरी तह तक जाएगा.
हम्मामी को लेकर Australian Counter-Terrorism Unit भी जांच में जुटी हुई है. हम्मामी ने 10 साल पहले ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मेलबर्न में RMIT यूनिवर्सिटी पढ़ाई की थी. पढ़ाई के दौरान ही हम्मामी कट्टरपंथियों के प्रभाव में आया. वहीं उसे जिहाद के लिए तैयार किया गया था. इजराइल के लोग 9/11 जैसे टेरर अटैक को बचाने वाले कैप्टन स्मित की बहादुरी को सलाम कर रहे हैं.
इजराइल की सड़कों पर बड़े बड़े बिलबोर्ड्स लगे हैं जिन पर कैप्टन स्मित की फोटो है और हिन्दी में लिखा है, “धन्यवाद नायक”. ऐसे बिलबोर्ड तेल अवीव, येरूशलम, हाईफा जैसे कई शहरों में दिखाई दे रहे हैं. नेतन्याहू ने कैप्टन स्मित की हिम्मत की दाद दी, इजराइल के लोगों की जान बचाने के लिए शुक्रिया अदा किया, कैप्टन स्मित को इजराइल आने का आमंत्रण दिया.
नेतन्याहू ने कैप्टन स्मित मच्छार से कहा कि वो चाहते हैं कि कैप्टन स्मित इजराइल के स्वतन्त्रता दिवस समारोह में शामिल हो कर पारंपरिक जश्न की मशाल जलाएं. कैप्टन स्मित का यूएई के मिलिट्री हॉस्पिटल में इलाज चल रहा है. वो तेजी से रिकवर कर रहे हैं. इसमें कोई शक नहीं हम्मामी का इरादा ख़तरनाक था. वो तीन साल से planning कर रहा था. उसका इरादा 180 लोगों की जान लेने से कहीं ज़्यादा ख़ौफ़नाक, कहीं ज़्यादा बड़ा था. वो इज़राइल के तेल अवीव एयरपोर्ट पर प्लेन को क्रैश कराना चाहता था.
अगर भारत का बहादुर Pilot स्मित अपनी जान की बाज़ी ना लगाता तो सोचिए कितना बड़ा हादसा होता. इसकी कल्पना करना भी मुश्किल है. इसका सच कभी बाहर न आता. दुख की बात है कि हम्मामी ने Captain स्मित से नमाज़ पढने के लिए वक्त मांगा, नमाज़ के बहाने उसने स्मित पर पीठ पीछे से वार किया. कैप्टन स्मित ने हनुमान जी को याद किया, हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ किया. न सिर्फ़ 180 लोगों की जान बचाई बल्कि अगर प्लेन तेल अवीव एयरपोर्ट पर crash होता तो ना जाने कितने और लोगों की जान चली जाती.
जिस कैप्टन स्मित को पूरी दुनिया सलाम कर रही है, हमारे अपने मुल्क़ में कुछ लोग उसकी तारीफ़ करने से कतरा रहे हैं. स्मित की बहादुरी पर राहुल गांधी का कोई बयान नहीं आया. कांग्रेस पार्टी के सोशल मीडिया हैंडल्स पर कैप्टन स्मित को कोई जगह नहीं मिली. सिर्फ कांग्रेस ही नहीं विपक्ष के ज्यादातर नेता कैप्टन स्मित की जांबाजी पर खामोश हैं. मैं हैरान हूं कि स्मित की बहादुरी को भी कुछ लोगों ने हिंदू-मुसलमान में बांट दिया, फलस्तीन और इज़राइल में बांट दिया.
जिस pilot ने ईश्वर का दूत बनकर 180 लोगों की जान बचाई, उसकी प्रशंसा करने में कुछ लोगों को तकलीफ़ क्यों है ? क्या इसलिए कि जिसने उस पर हमला किया, वह मुसलमान था? क्या इसलिए कि कैप्टन स्मित ने हनुमान जी का नाम लिया ? क्या इसलिए कि स्मित ने इज़राइली यात्रियों की जान बचाई ? क्या इज़राइली इंसान नहीं हैं ? हो सकता है किसी को इन सब बातों से problem हो, किसी की राजनीतिक मजबूरी हो, पर क्या हम एक भारतीय के पराक्रम पर गर्व नहीं कर सकते? और करते हैं तो उसे कह नहीं सकते ? इस भारतीय पायलट की वजह से आज पूरी दुनिया में भारत का मान बढ़ा है, हर भारतीय का सीना गर्व से चौड़ा हुआ है. राजनीति के लिए, वोट बैंक के लिए, उसकी प्रशंसा से बचना एक लफ़्ज़ भी ना कहना, दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है.
CEC के केस में सुप्रीम कोर्ट पर इकतरफा आदेश जारी करने के लिए दबाव क्यों?
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार को सस्पेंड करने से साफ इंकार कर दिया. कोर्ट ने कहा कि सिर्फ मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के आधार पर कोई अंतरिम आदेश नहीं दिया जा सकता. अर्जी में आरोप लगाया गया था कि CEC ज्ञानेश कुमार मनमाने ढंग से काम कर रहे हैं, उन्होंने SIR से जुड़े 14 ऐसे फैसले लिए जिन पर बाकी दो इलेक्शन कमिशनर्स ने असहमति जाहिर की थी.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार, चुनाव आयोग, CEC ज्ञानेश कुमार, चुनाव आयुक्त डॉ. सुखबीर सिंह संधू और डॉ. विवेक जोशी, डिप्टी इलेक्शन कमिश्नर मनीष गर्ग और DG-IT सीमा खन्ना को नोटिस जारी कर चार हफ्ते में जवाब मांगा है. मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्यकांत की बेंच ने कहा कि अगर ये साबित होता है कि चुनाव आयोग ने फैसले बिना आम-सहमति के लिए हैं, तो उन्हें वापस लिया जा सकता है लेकिन इससे पहले चुनाव आयोग का जवाब और रिकॉर्ड देखना जरूरी है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ये भी कहा कि अदालत ने Form-6 के किसी भी संशोधन को मंजूरी नहीं दी है. इसलिए ये देखा जाएगा कि इसमें बदलाव कैसे हुए. दरअसल 9 दिन पहले चुनाव आयोग ने कहा था कि SIR के लिए Form-6 के साथ लगाए गए डिक्लेरेशन को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से मंजूरी मिली है लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इसे गलत करार दिया. चूंकि इस मामले में ज्यादा चर्चा इसलिए हो रही है क्योंकि रविवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज जस्टिस उज्ज्वल भुइयां ने कह दिया कि ऐसी कोई भी प्रक्रिया मनमानी है, जो लाखों भारतीयों को वोटिंग के अधिकार से वंचित कर दे, ये संविधान की आत्मा पर हमला है, इसे कोई भी कोर्ट न्यायोचित नहीं ठहरा सकता.
जस्टिस भुइयां के इस बयान को कांग्रेस और दूसरे विरोधी दल हाथों हाथ ले रहे हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने वही किया जो normal है, जो होना चाहिए. केवल अख़बार की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर कोई एक्शन लेने की बजाए CEC और दोनों ECs से पूछा कि मामला क्या है ? पर बहुत सारे वकील हैं, activists हैं, जो सुप्रीम कोर्ट पर दबाव बनाते हैं. हर केस में दूसरों को सुने बग़ैर order न देने की दुहाई देते हैं, लेकिन अपने केस में चाहते हैं कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट तुरंत order दे दे, दूसरे पक्ष की परवाह न करे. ये दोहरा मापदंड क्यों?
इसका एक और पक्ष है. यही वकील कहते हैं कि जब कोई मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सामने है तो सरकार ऐसा कोई क़दम न उठाए जो इस फ़ैसले को प्रभावित कर सके, लेकिन यही लोग अपने मामले में सड़क पर उतरकर प्रेशर बनाने की कोशिश को ग़लत नहीं मानते. सुनवाई से एक दिन पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एक सिटिंग जज ने चुनाव आयोग पर सवाल उठाए तो केस फाइल करने वाले गद्गद् हो गए लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट का कोई सिटिंग जज अगर इसी तरह एक दिन पहले चुनाव आयोग के काम को support कर देता, उसके पक्ष में भाषण दे देता तो यही activist आसमान सिर पर उठा लेते. क़ानून सबके लिए बराबर है. इसीलिए अब चुनाव आयोग का विरोध करने वालों को अपने सारे तर्क सारे दस्तावेज़ सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सामने रखना चाहिए ताकि सच सामने आए.
India must honour its brave national hero
Indian hero pilot Capt Smit is recovering in a hospital in Abu Dhabi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi told him that the entire nation is praying for his early recovery. His wounds are deep because of the axe attack and he has been bandaged from top to bottom. He is feeling pain, but his spirit is high and his resolve is iron-willed.
Major world newspapers like The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Times and Guardian, London, used the word ‘hero’ in their headlines to praise Smit’s valour. Smit is the world’s hero, but he said, his ideal is Prime Minister Modi. Some people here may not like it. Smit said, he recited Hanuman Chalisa during the 12 minutes of terror and Bajrangbali saved all 174 travellers. This can also cause pinpricks for some people.
Smit hails from Amreli, Gujarat. This can be another reason for some people to worry. The truth is, India’s captain Smit is our national hero and he is above all such things. He is India’s pride. The government must give him the national award for his bravery.
Flydubai attack : Who’s behind the conspiracy?
For Israelis, Capt Smit is no less than an angel. They are also asking their government to honour him. His valour was celebrated at all major thoroughfares in Israel. At the India-Israel Festival in Tel Aviv, a huge poster of Smit was displayed in the background.
Thousands of Israelis stood up and clapped. The Israelis are now demanding punishment for the co-pilot who tried to hijack flydubai plane. Fresh revelations have come to light. The Omani co-pilot, now identified as Hamam al-Hammami, wanted to crash the flydubai aircraft in Israel, reports Wall Street Journal quoting experts associated with the probe. He told Israeli investigators in custody. 29-year-old Al-Hammami spent much of his time in Syria, where he was reportedly influenced by extremist ideas. He was born in the UAE to an Omani father and Syrian mother.
Al-Hammami was banned from flying by Oman for his ideological extremist views. CNN reports, an Instagram account of Al-Hammami (now deleted) shared two videos within nine hours after the attack, and both were terror-related. One video included a series of footage in the cockpit of a Boeing 737 Max aircraft, with a person filming and zooming in on an Israeli plane. The same video ends with photos of al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and a photo of Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, who killed nine people in a 2009 suicide bombing in the US.
The other post featured an AI-generated image of Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, with a rousing fundamentalist poem being recited in the background. Both posts were also shared on his LinkedIn before they were taken down, CNN reported. The UAE government has admitted that it was a terror act. The president adviser in UAE Anwar Gargash wrote on social media that it was a dangerous terror attack which could have caused tragedy, but the Indian pilot Smit showed courage and responsibility, which must be praised.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, whosoever is behind this attack will have to pay heavily. He said, the co-pilot had a background of Islamic radicalization, but the probe is ongoing. US President Donald Trump pitched in to warn Iran. He said, if Iran’s hand is found behind this attack, major attacks will be carried out by the US. The question is, how Israeli intelligence failed in identifying this co-pilot?
Why Mossad, the intelligence agency overlooked? There are strict rules about Gulf country planes flying to Israel. As per the contract with flydubai, their pilots who fly to Israel must belong to those nationalities, with whom Israel has diplomatic relations. Oman and Israel have no such relations, then how did the Omani co-pilot flew the aircraft? Mossad carries out strict vetting of all such crew. When the flight took off from Dubai, it should have come to its notice that the co-pilot cannot fly. Where did the negligence happen? How did it happen? The truth will soon come out.
Putin : Modi a trusted global leader
During his video talk with Capt Smit yesterday, PM Narendra Modi said, “Bharat Maarne Wala Nahin, Bachane Wala Desh Hai.” (India is not a country that kills, but one that saves) Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the same tone at a Moscow event while showering praise on Modi. He said, India always shows the path of peace to the world. Putin said, Modi came up with bright ideas in his Ukraine peace plan. He said, Modi is one of those leaders who publicly told him to end Ukraine war.
Putin said, Modi believes that a way can be found out only through dialogue, and no decision can be thrust on the other. Those who question Modi’s foreign policy, must listen to what Putin said. Putin accepts that Modi takes neutral position, and his leadership has acceptance. PM Narendra Modi told me in a TV show, “I look at world leaders in the eye and talk to them on an equal footing; I am not one of those who flatters powerful global leaders.” That is why world leaders respect Modi, this enhances India’s honor and showcases India’s power to the world.
जांबाज़ कैप्टन स्मित राष्ट्रीय सम्मान के हक़दार
174 यात्रियों को मौत के मुंह से निकालने वाले जांबाज़ पायलट Captain स्मित ने कहा कि सब बजरंगबली की कृपा से हुआ, हनुमान जी ने सबको बचाया. Captain स्मित ने कहा कि वो प्लेन के फर्श पर ख़ून से लथपथ पड़े थे, प्लेन अनियंत्रित होकर आसमान से नीचे की तरफ़ जा रहा था.
स्मित को मुसाफ़िरों की ज़िंदगी की फ़िक्र थी, वक़्त बहुत कम था. वो हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ कर रहे थे. स्मित ने हिम्मत जुटाई, कॉकपिट का दरवाज़ा खोल दिया, इसके बाद सारे लोगों ने मदद की और plane crash होने से बच गया. कैप्टन स्मित ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को बताया कि उन ख़ौफ़नाक पलों में क्या हुआ, कैसे हुआ और उन्हें एक और 9/11 होने से बचाने की ताक़त कहां से मिली.

कॉकपिट में ख़ून : ये साज़िश किसने की?
इजराइल के लोग चाहते हैं कि हमलावर को तो सजा मिले ही, साथ ही जिसने भी उसे भेज कर प्लेन क्रैश कराने की साजिश रची, उसे भी न बख्शा जाए. इजराइल के पीएम नेतन्याहू ने कहा कि इस घटना के पीछे जिसका भी हाथ होगा, उसे इसकी बहुत महंगी कीमत चुकानी पड़ेगी. नेतन्याहू ने कहा कि इतना तो साफ हो गया है कि को-पायलट प्लेन को क्रैश कराना चाहता था, उसका बैकग्राउंड islamic radicalization (इस्लामिक उग्रवाद) का है, लेकिन अभी जांच चल रही है, इसलिए ये साजिश किसने रची, इसका खुलासा जांच पूरी होने के बाद होगा.
उधर अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने ईरान को चेतावनी दे दी. उन्होंने कहा कि अगर ये ईरान ने किया होगा, तो उस पर जबरदस्त हमला करेंगे. जिस co-pilot ने स्मित को चाक़ू मारा, प्लेन क्रैश करने की साज़िश रची, उसकी जांच हो रही है. नेतन्याहू ने बस इतना कहा है कि इस pilot का Islamic radical connection हो सकता है, लेकिन बड़ा सवाल ये है कि इज़राइल की intelligence इस co-pilot को लेकर fail कैसे हो गई ? जो hijacker प्लेन को crash कराने के चक्कर में था, Mossad की नज़र में क्यों नहीं आया ?
खाड़ी के देशों से इज़राइल के लिए fly करने वाले crew की नागरिकता क्या होगी, इसको लेकर कड़े नियम हैं. Flydubai के साथ जो contract है, उसके मुताबिक़, pilots सिर्फ़ उन मुल्क़ों के नागरिक हो सकते हैं, जिनके साथ इज़राइल के diplomatic relations हैं. ओमान और इज़राइल के बीच ऐसे रिश्ते नहीं हैं. तो फिर एक ओमानी pilot कैसे विमान पर सवार हुआ ? Mossad ऐसे लोगों की vetting करता है.जब flight दुबई से उड़ी, उसी वक्त हमलावर co-pilot की नागरिकता की जानकारी सामने आ जानी चाहिए थी. लापरवाही कहां हुई ? कैसे हुई ? ये सच्चाई भी थोड़े दिन में सामने आ जाएगी.
पुतिन: मोदी दुनिया के विश्वसनीय लीडर

Incredible, unthinkable, a miracle: Captain Smit brings glory to India!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to brave Indian pilot Capt Smit Machchar, undergoing treatment in a hospital. The live video talk was watched by millions of Indians today.
Modi also spoke in Gujarati. With eyes filled with tears of pride, Smit Machchar told the PM that he was reciting Hanuman Chalisa, when he was bleeding on the floor of the plane.
Modi said, “Yesterday, I spoke to to Bhupendra bhai (Smit’s father), and also spoke to Geetaben (Smit’s mother) and Sonalben (Smit’s wife). I told Geetaben that your name is Geeta, and you have truly preserved Krishna’s Geeta, and you have raised Smit with the values and teachings of Geeta.”
Modi told the pilot, “You have done something so great that today people across India and the rest of the world, are eager to see you and speak to you. I must tell you that this was possible because of the values you have been imparted from Gita. For that, I would bow to Geetaben for raising you in this manner. I would also like to bow to you.”
There should be no hesitation in saying that the entire world today is praying the courage of the Indian pilot who prevented the FlyDubai plane from being crashed. Capt Smit should excellent presence of mind during the terror attack, fought his terrorist co-pilot and saved 174 lives.
Had he not been there, another 9/11 tragedy could have taken place and the world would have drowned in sorrow. Today the world is saluting the bravery of Capt Smit. There were other heroes too.
When the plane was descending fast, and a few second were left for the crash, an Israeli plumber Yaniv entered the cockpit. The plane’s nosewheel was headed downwards. Yaniv showed presence of mind. He had seen a TV series on how planes can be saved during crisis.
He pushed the rogue co-pilot aside. He knew how to lift a plane upwards. He did and the plane stopped descending. In a few seconds, two pilots who were sitting as travellers in the rear end were called in.
One of them lost his senses on seeing blood on the floor, but the other pilot took control, contacted the nearest Air Traffic Control and made a safe landing in Tobuk, Saudi Arabia. It’s simply incredible, unthinkable and full of miracles.
The first miracle: After the attack, blood-stained Capt Smit sent out the emergency code. It does not mean pushing a button. Actually a code has to be sent.
The second miracle : It was surprising how Capt Smit, who was bleeding heavily from his chest, opened the heavy cockpit door. Had he not received outside support, the crash was definitely going to happen.
The third miracle: Travellers who entered cockpit from outside, immediately differentiated between the attacker and the victim. They overpowered the terrorist.
The fourth miracle : The plumber just pushed up the flight control panel. The fifth miracle : A dentist on board immediately gave first aid treatment to Capt Smit.
The sixth miracle : Had there been no pilots sitting in the rear as travellers, it was difficult to safely land. These pilots were not accustomed to fly FlyDubai plane, but managed safe landing.
I spoke to some experienced pilots. They told me, they have neither seen nor heard so many miracles happening together. This was not possible without Almighty’s blessings.
The biggest miracle: the message went across the whole world that a brave Indian pilot showed excellent presence of mind, fulfilled his duty at the risk of his life and saved 174 lives.
The image Captain Smit created for India across the entire world has enhanced the respect of Indians living everywhere in the eyes of people. This is a matter of great pride for India.
अद्भुत, अकल्पनीय, चमत्कार : कैप्टन स्मित ने भारत का मान बढ़ाया

मोदी ने कहा, “कल भूपेंद्रभाई (स्मित के पिता), गीताबेन (माता), और सोनाली बेन (पत्नी) से मेरी बातचीत हुई. … मैंने गीताबेन से कहा, आपका नाम गीता है, आपने स्मित को गीता में श्रीकृष्ण के उपदेशों को न सिर्फ समझाया, बल्कि गीता के मूल्यों को उसके जीवन में उतारा.” मोदी ने स्मित से कहा, “आपने जीवन में इतना महान कार्य किया है कि देश-दुनिया के लोग आपको देखने और आपसे बात करने को उत्सुक हैं. ये सिर्फ इसलिए हो पाया क्योंकि आपको जीवन में गीता के मूल्य मिले हैं.” मोदी ने कहा, आपने पूरे देश का मान बढ़ाया है और लोगों का आपके प्रति अथाह प्यार है.
अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने कहा कि अगर कैप्टन स्मित ने समझदारी न दिखाई होती, कॉकपिट का दरवाजा न खोला होता तो बड़ा आतंकवादी हादसा हो सकता था. ट्रंप ने कहा, कैप्टन स्मित पूरी दुनिया के सुपर हीरो हैं. यह बताने में कोई संकोच नहीं कि जिस पराक्रम की तारीफ़ आज पूरी दुनिया कर रही है, उसने अपने साहस से, अपनी presence of mind से Flydubai के एक विमान को क्रैश होने से बचाया, लहूलुहान होते हुए भी आतंकवादी co-pilot से मुक़ाबला किया और 174 passengers की जान बचाई. स्मित मच्छार न होते तो शायद 9/11 जैसा दूसरा हादसा हो गया होता, इस समय पूरी दुनिया में मातम पसरा होता लेकिन आज हर कोई भारतीय कैप्टन स्मित के साहस को सलाम कर रहा है.
जब प्लेन गिर रहा था, पायलट बुरी तरह से घायल था, कुछ ही सेकेंड में क्रैश होने वाला था, उस वक्त हिम्मत जुटाकर सबसे पहले यानिव नाम का इजरायली प्लम्बर कॉकपिट में घुसा. उस वक्त प्लेन का नोज़ पूरी तरह नीचे की तरफ था, कुछ ही सेकंड में प्लेन धरती से टकरा सकता था. यानिव ने सूझबूझ से काम लिया. उसने सबसे पहले को-पायलट को धक्का देकर दूसरी तरफ गिराया, फिर फ्लाइट के कंट्रोलर को ऊपर की तरफ खींच दिया. उसे पूरा यकीन नहीं था कि वो ये काम करेगा. विमान हादसों पर बनी एक सीरीज वो देख चुका था जिसमें गिरते हुए प्लेन को कैसे ऊपर उठाते हुए दिखाया गया था.. उसने वैसा ही किया और ये तरीका काम कर गया.
नीचे गिरता हुआ प्लेन ऊपर की तरफ जाने लगा और फ्लाइट स्टेबल होने लगी. कुछ ही सेकंड में दो पायलट जो यात्री थे, कॉकपिट में पहुंच गए लेकिन वहां चारों तरफ बिखरे खून को देखकर एक स्पेयर पायलट बेहोश हो गया. दूसरे पायलट ने संयम से काम लिया, फ्लाइट का कंट्रोल संभाला, नजदीकी ATC से संपर्क किया और सऊदी अरब में सेफ लैंडिंग कराई. Flydubai के प्लेन में सवार 174 लोगों की जान कैसे बची, ये अद्भुत, अकल्पनीय, चमत्कार है. बुरी तरह से घायल कैप्टन स्मित ने emergency code कैसे भेजा, ये पहला चमत्कार था. code भेजने का मतलब सिर्फ़ कोई एक button दबाना नहीं होता. Actually code भेजना पड़ता है.
घायल captain ने cockpit का दरवाज़ा कैसे खोला, ये दूसरा चमत्कार था. अगर बाहर से मदद नहीं मिलती तो प्लेन का crash होना निश्चित था. बाहर से मदद के लिए जो यात्री आए, उन्होंने पलक झपकते ही मारने वाले और बचाने वाले के बीच फ़र्क़ को समझ लिया. ये तीसरा चमत्कार था. एक प्लम्बर का flight के control को ऊपर खींचना चौथा चमत्कार था. एक dentist ने घायल captain का treatment किया. ये पांचवां चमत्कार था. उस प्लेन में यात्री के तौर पर अगर दो pilot सवार न होते तो plane की landing कराना असंभव था. जो pilot plane से वाकिफ नहीं था, उसने plane को सुरक्षित उतारा, ये छठा चमत्कार था.
अनुभवी pilot कहते हैं, इतने सारे चमत्कार एक साथ ना कभी सुने, ना कभी देखे. ये ईश्वर की कृपा के बिना हो ही नहीं सकता था. सबसे बड़ा चमत्कार ये हुआ कि पूरी दुनिया में संदेश गया कि एक भारतीय अपनी जान पर खेलकर duty कैसे पूरी करता है, अपनी presence of mind से दूसरों की जान कैसे बचाता है. कैप्टन स्मित ने पूरी दुनिया में भारत की जो छवि बनाई है, उससे दुनिया में जहां-जहां भारतवासी रहते हैं, लोगों की नज़रों में उनका मान बढ़ा है. ये भारत के लिए बहुत बड़ा गौरव है.
