After wresting advantage in Pangong Lake area with the occupation of heights on the south bank of the lake in eastern Ladakh, India on Wednesday mounted a fresh strike on Chinese and Chinese-controlled aaps. The Telecom and IT ministry banned 118 apps, including PUBG, the world’s most lucrative mobile game, for engaging in activities “prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.”

Earlier, India had banned 106 Chinese apps in retaliation over Chinese aggression in Galwan valley leading to bloody clashes in which 20 Indian jawans were martyred and an undisclosed number of Chinese soldiers were killed. Wednesday’s ban comes in the wake of fresh tension in Pangong Lake area, with the Chinese troops trying to forcibly alter the Line of Actual Control, which was prevented by the Indian army.

By one stroke, India has sent a tough message to China to say that it means business and it will reply to China in its own language. Experts said, China was trying to gather data about Indians through its apps and was also earning money. India has now decided to give lessons to China both on the defence and economic fronts.

Though PUBG mobile game is South Korean, yet it is largely controlled by China’s Tencent Games company which provides all the updated versions for this mobile game. Its server is in China. PUBG is one of the most popular online games in India. The game has been downloaded more than 17.5 crore times. One-fourth of PUBG users are in India. The number of PUBG users rose dramatically during the recent lockdown period, according to Sensor Tower, a data analytics firm. PUBG has made Rs 22,457 crore earnings till date, and compared to last year, its earnings rose this year by 41 per cent, a huge jump. This year, till now, PUBG Mobile has made $1.3 billion (Rs 9731 crore) earnings.

Naturally, China is going to be furious because India has hit it hard where it matters the most. On the defence front, in eastern Ladakh, India TV Defence Editor Manish Prasad has been reporting from Ground Zero. According to him, Chinese troops tried at least thrice to change the status quo of LAC since August 29 nigh. Their efforts to carry out incursions were rebuffed by Indian jawans on August 29, August 31 and September 1. The Chinese generals are predictably angry.

The Chinese PLA is worried over Indian troops occupying Black Top, Helmet Top and Rechang La heights, which are considered to be strategic. At the brigadier level meeting in Chushul on Wednesday, the Chinese side repeatedly asked Indian army to withdraw from these heights, but the Indian army held its ground.

So far, the Chinese officials have made six statements asking Indian troops to withdraw. Their impatience is understandable. Indian army has done the same trick which the Chinese army did while occupying several fingers of Pangong Tso lake. India has made it clear that its operation was not offensive nor was it meant to intimidate the other side. Indian jawans occupying the Black Top is a big success because they can now keep a watch on all Chinese activity across Pangong Lake. The Indian army now wants to dominae Rechen La, 4 km away from Rechang La. It will then be easy to monitor Chinese troops’ activity on the ground.

Overall, the Indian army presently dominates ten vital spots in Ladakh to keep a vigil over Chinese PLA activity. These spots are: Chumar valley, Demkok, Pangong Lake, Depsang, Galwan, Gogra, Hot Springs, Daulat Beg Oldie, Chushul and Rechang La. It is because of the alertness of our jawans that the Chinese army is unable to carry out treacherous incursions. On Tuesday, five to seven Chinese army vehicles tried to enter the Indian side of Chumar valley, but our alert jawans foiled their effort. The Chinese had to return after two hours. Chinese PLA officers have now realized that Indian army is a tough nut to crack, therefore there is no standoff situation at this moment.

Moreover, the Indian army has further strengthened its positions from Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh bordering China, till Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. More battalions of Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Seema Sashastra Bal have been brought in to guard our frontiers.

The world has now realized the duplicitous nature of the Chinese. Whether it is the South China Sea dispute with Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei, or the Senkaku islands dispute with Japan, or the Ladakh and Dokalam border disputes with India, the Chinese are known for their treachery. They use force to create artificial islands in the sea to stake claims, or conduct devious incursions on land in Tibet and Dokalam. China’s Big Brother attitude is being resented by most of the South East Asian nations, Australia, Japan and India.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday told Fox News that the “entire world is beginning to unite against China’s unfair practices and countries like India, Australia, Japan and South Korea are going to partner with the US to push back China on every front.”

The Quad group formed between India, Australia, Japan and the US is working to prevent Chinese belligerence in the Asia-Pacific region. The Five Eyes intelligence alliance between the US, Canada, Australia, UK and New Zealand is also trying to help the Quad in reaching its objectives. Ministers from Quad countries are going to meet in person later this month to give a clear signal to China either to behave or face consequences. Time has come to teach China a lesson if it continues to remain belligerent and refuses to behave as a responsible nation.

ऐक्टर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत के मामले को एक नया मोड़ देते हुए मंगलवार को रिया चक्रवर्ती के वकील ने आरोप लगाया कि सुशांत की बहनें इंश्योरेंस क्लेम हासिल करने के लिए उनकी मौत को हत्या के मामले का रूप देने की कोशिश कर रही हैं। रिया के वकील का आरोप है कि सुशांत की बहनें ये जानती थीं कि सुशांत मेंटल डिप्रेशन से गुजर रहे हैं और वे उनकी संपत्ति हड़पने की साजिश रच रही थीं।

इस बीच सीबीआई ने बुधवार को दूसरे दिन भी रिया के माता-पिता से पूछताछ की। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने मंगलवार को गौरव आर्य से ड्रग्स एंगल के बारे में पूछताछ की थी। नारकोटिक्स कन्ट्रोल ब्यूरो की पूछताछ में एक बड़े ड्रग पेडलर ने रिया के भाई शॉविक के साथ अपने रिश्तों को कबूल किया है। इससे रिया और उसके भाई की मुश्किलें बढ़ सकती हैं। हैरानी की बात ये है कि सुशांत की मौत के केस में ड्रग्स के एंगल से हो रही जांच पर फिलहाल NCB के DG राकेश अस्थाना खुद करीबी नजर रखे हुए हैं।

मंगलवार को रिया के वकील सतीश मानशिंदे ने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा, ‘यदि किसी शख्स के पास कोई बड़ी जीवन बीमा पॉलिसी है तो क्या उस पॉलिसी का लाभ लेने के लिए व्यक्ति की मौत को आत्महत्या या उसका कोई अन्य कारण घोषित नहीं किया जा सकता? घर में रहने वाले लोगों के बयानों से पता चलता है कि सुशांत के परिवार को लगातार जानकारी दी जा रही थी। शुरू से ही, जब दरवाजा खोला गया, दरवाजे को खटखटाने के निर्देश दिए गए, जब कमरे में लोग दाखिल हए और सुशांत की बॉडी को फंदे से झूलता हुआ पाया, आईपीएस ओपी सिंह भी निर्देश दे रहे थे। उनका परिवार सबकुछ जनता था। मैं आपको विश्वास दिलाता हूं कि उसने (रिया) घर छोड़ दिया क्योंकि सुशांत ने उसे ऐसा करने के लिए कहा था। रिया पर सुशांत के परिवार की ओर से दुर्भावनापूर्ण तरीके से आरोप लगाए जा रहे हैं।’

यह साफ है कि मानशिंदे अपने मुवक्किल को बचाने की पूरी कोशिश कर रहे हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सुशांत की बहन ने सुशांत के लिए नकली प्रेस्क्रिप्शन बनवाए। मानशिंदे ने कहा, ‘रिकॉर्ड से यह पता चलता है कि परिवार को सुशांत के इलाज और दवा के बारे में 29 नवंबर, 2019 से पता था। श्रुति (मोदी) और सुशांत के परिवार के बीच प्रेस्किप्शन और दवाइयों को लेकर मैसेज का आदान-प्रदान किया जाता था। यह पता चला कि 8 जून, 2020 को जब रिया ने 12:30 के आसपास घर छोड़ा था, तब सुशांत अपनी बहनों के संपर्क में थे। प्रियंका ने मैसेज भेजकर सुशांत के स्वास्थ्य के बारे में पूछा था। पहले सुशांत ने उनसे कुछ दवाएं मांगी थीं। उन्होंने कुछ दवाओं के नाम भेजे, जिसके बारे में उसने कहा कि वे दवाएं बिना डॉक्टर के पर्चे के नहीं मिल सकतीं। जिसके बाद प्रियंका ने राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल से प्रेस्क्रिप्शन मंगवाया और उन्हें भेजा। ये प्रेस्क्रिप्शन फर्जी है। इस प्रेस्क्रिप्शन में सुशांत को ओपीडी मरीज के रूप में दर्ज किया गया है। जो दवाएं उन्हें दी गईं वे नारकोटिक्स की धाराओं के अंतर्गत आती हैं। प्रेस्क्रिप्शन पर जो तारीख दर्ज है, उस दिन वह दिल्ली में नहीं थे।’

मानशिंदे ने कहा, ‘उन्होंने एक ऐसे डॉक्टर से प्रेस्किप्शन लिया हैं जिसने कभी सुशांत की जांच भी नहीं की। आप किसी शख्स को उसकी चल रही दवा के बारे में जानकारी लिए बिना दवाएं कैसे लिख सकते हैं? साथ ही उन्हें आउट पेशेंट के रूप में दिखाया जा रहा है। इसलिए यह साफ है कि सुशांत के परिवार की ओर से नकली कहानी गढ़ी गई है।’ मानशिंदे ने 25-26 नवंबर को वाटरस्टोन रिजॉर्ट में सुशांत और उनकी बहनों के बीच हुए झगड़े का भी जिक्र किया। इस झगड़े के दौरान सुशांत की तीनों बहनें मौजूद थीं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सुशांत की बहनें उन्हें मुंबई से दूर ले जाना चाहती थीं और उनकी संपत्ति हड़पना चाहती थीं। वकील के मुताबिक, सुशांत को इसके बारे में पता चल गया और इसके बाद उसका अपनी बहनों के साथ झगड़ा हुआ।

मानशिंदे का कहना है कि सुशांत ने अपनी बहनों के साथ चंडीगढ़ के लिए टिकट बुक किए थे, लेकिन झगड़े के बाद उन्होंने एक महीने के लिए रिया के साथ रहना छोड़ दिया और अपनी चंडीगढ़ यात्रा भी कैंसिल कर दी। मानशिंदे का दावा है कि वॉटरस्टोन रिजॉर्ट में एक स्टाफ मेंबर ने सुशांत की 3 बहनों की बात सुनी थी जो आपस में सुशांत की प्रॉपर्टी अपने नाम कराने की बात कह रही थीं। ये बात उस स्टॉफ ने सुशांत को बता दी। इसके बाद ही सुशांत ने चंड़ीगढ़ जाने से इंकार कर दिया। सुशांत का परिवार इस आरोप को खारिज करने के लिए अभी तक आगे नहीं आया है। मंगलवार को सुशांत की पूर्व मैनेजर श्रुति मोदी के वकील अशोक सरावगी ने आरोप लगाया कि सुशांत की बहनें जानती थीं कि वह ड्रग्स ले रहे थे और उनका इलाज चल रहा था। सुशांत के परिवार के सदस्यों या उनके वकीलों ने अशोक सरावगी के इस आरोप को भी अभी तक खारिज नहीं किया है।

मंगलवार को अपने प्राइम टाइम शो ‘आज की बात’ में हमने कुशल जावेरी के बयान दिखाए, जिन्होंने 2008 से टीवी सीरियल्स में सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के साथ ऐक्टिंग की थी। इन दोनों ने 3 साल तक ‘पवित्र रिश्ता’ नाम के सीरियल में साथ काम किया था। बाद में सुशांत ने टीवी सीरियल्स को छोड़कर बॉलीवुड में कदम रखा। सुशांत ने कुशल जावेरी को सीरियल छोड़कर अपने साथ काम करने के लिए बुलाया था। कुशल जावेरी ने बिहार पुलिस के जांचकर्ताओं को सुशांत के निजी जीवन के बारे में विस्तार से बताया था। हमारे पटना के रिपोर्टर नीतीश चंद्रा ने उनके वर्ड टू वर्ड स्टेटमेंट एक्सेस किया है और मैंने भी इस स्टेटमेंट को ध्यान से पढ़ा है। इससे दो या तीन बहुत बड़े तथ्य निकलकर सामने आए हैं।

पहला, कुशल ने जांचकर्ताओं को बताया कि सुशांत पिछले साल दिसंबर में अपने आर्थिक हालात को लेकर परेशान थे। उन्होंने श्रुति मोदी से अपना बैंक स्टेटमेंट मांगा था, जिसने रिया को फोन किया और रिया तुरंत भागकर घर वापस आ गई और सुशांत को दूसरी बातों में उलझा दिया और बैंक स्टेटमेंट की बात भुला दी गई।

दूसरा, कुशल ने खुलासा किया कि 2018 की शुरुआत में सुशांत के बैंक अकाउंट में लगभग 10 करोड़ रुपये थे। उसी साल सुशांत ने केरल और नागालैंड में बाढ़ राहत के लिए 2.25 करोड़ रुपये का डोनेट कर दिए। सुशांत ने 2 दिनों के लिए नागालैंड में बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों का दौरा भी किया। कुशल ने कहा कि उनके खाते में लगभग 8 करोड़ रुपये बचे थे, लेकिन साल के आखिर में अपनी थाईलैंड ट्रिप पर उन्होंने काफी पैसा खर्च किया था। कुशल ने खुलासा किया कि इन तमाम खर्चों के बावजूद सुशांत बेफिक्र थे। वह कहते थे कि वह आगे और पैसे कमा लेंगे।

तीसरा, कुशल जावेरी ने यह भी खुलासा किया कि मौत से एक दिन पहले 13 जून को सुशांत ने एक वीडियो कॉल पर रमेश तौरानी के लिए 2 फिल्में करने को लेकर सहमति जताई थी। कुशल ने कहा कि चूंकि बड़े निर्माता एक साथ 2 फिल्मों के लिए साइन करवाते हैं, इसलिए सुशांत के लिए यह डील 12-15 करोड़ रुपये की थी।

जावेरी ने बिहार पुलिस को यह भी बताया कि जब 8 जून को रिया घर छोड़कर गई, उसी रात दिशा सालियान ने खुदकुशी कर ली। जावेरी के मुताबिक, दिशा सालियन की आत्महत्या के बाद सुशांत परेशान हो गए क्योंकि न्यूज चैनल खबरें चला रहे थे कि सुशांत के एक्स-मैनेजर ने खुदकुशी कर ली। कुशल ने कहा कि सुशांत अक्सर दिशा सालियान से जुड़ी खबरें गूगल पर सर्च किया करते थे। उनके मुताबिक, सुशांत ने दीपेश और सिद्धार्थ पिठानी से रिया से संपर्क करने के लिए कहा, लेकिन उन्होंने बताया कि रिया ने उनका नंबर ब्लॉक कर दिया है। कुशल ने खुलासा किया कि रिया के साथ ब्रेकअप के बाद सुशांत अपने जीवन के आखिरी 15 दिनों में अपने पुराने दोस्तों के करीब आ गए थे। उन्होंने मार्च से दवाएं लेनी बंद कर दी थीं।

फिलहाल इस मामले को परिप्रेक्ष्य में रखते हैं। सुशांत के परिवार ने आरोप लगाया था कि रिया ने उनके बैंक अकाउंट्स से 15 करोड़ रुपये का गबन किया और या तो उनकी हत्या की साजिश रची या उन्हें खुदकुशी के लिए मजबूर किया। सुशांत के पिता ने पटना पुलिस के समक्ष अपनी प्राथमिकी में यह आरोप लगाया था। लेकिन सुशांत की हत्या या आत्महत्या के पीछे की मंशा क्या थी? रिया ने ऐसा क्यों किया? सुशांत के परिवार की तरफ से कोई भी इसका मोटिव एस्टेबलिश नहीं कर सका।

वहीं दूसरी तरफ, रिया के वकील सतीश मानशिंदे ने अपने वे सारे पत्ते खोल दिए जिनपर वह अदालत में मामले की बहस करने जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने ये साबित करने की कोशिश की कि सुशांत की मौत को आत्महत्या की बजाय हत्या साबित करने के पीछे क्या मकसद हो सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि इंश्योरेंस का पैसा इसकी एक बड़ी वजह हो सकती है। यह एक गंभीर आरोप है।

दूसरी बात, सतीश मानेशिंदे ने कहा कि सुशांत के परिवार को उनकी बीमारी के बारे में पता था, बिना डॉक्टर्स को कन्सल्ट किए सुशांत को प्रतिबंधित दवाएं लेने की सलाह दी गई थी। मुंबई में बैठे मरीज की जांच किए बिना ही दिल्ली सरकार के एक डॉक्टर से नकली प्रेस्क्रिप्शन लिया गया। यह अपने आप में एक अपराध है।

मानशिंदे ने जोर देकर कहा कि 8 जून को रिया का सुशांत के साथ उसकी बहन को लेकर बहस हुई, और दोनों के बीच कोई झगड़ा नहीं हुआ था। 8 जून से 14 जून के बीच की घटनाओं के सीक्वेंस की अब ठीक से जांच की जानी चाहिए। इससे सुशांत की मौत के पीछे की सच्चाई लोगों के सामने आ जाएगी। मानशिंदे और श्रुति मोदी के वकील अशोक सरावगी, दोनों ही आरोप लगा रहे हैं कि सुशांत की बहनें उनकी संपत्ति हड़पना चाहती थीं।

जानकारों का कहना है कि पिछले 13 दिन से सीबीआई ने जो भी जांच की है उसमें अभी तक इस बात का कोई सबूत नहीं मिला कि सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की हत्या की गई थी। फिलहाल CBI ये पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि अगर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत ने आत्महत्या की तो इसकी वजह क्या थी? क्या किसी ने उन्हें खुदकुशी करने के लिए मजबूर किया था? या फिर उनकी आत्महत्या के पीछे की वजह उनका मेंटल डिप्रेशन था? यह भी पता लगाया जा रहा है कि क्या सुशांत की मौत का ड्रग्स से कोई कनेक्शन था?

इस मामले की जांच के दौरान ड्रग्स की बात बार-बार सामने आई है, लेकिन एक अच्छी बात यह हुई है कि पिछले कुछ दिनों में इस केस की वजह से मुंबई में ड्रग्स सप्लाई करने वाले माफिया पर नारकोटिक्स डिपार्टमेंट का शिकंजा कस गया है और वे सभी अंडरग्राउंड हो गए हैं। नारकोटिक्स विंग ने बड़ी मात्रा में ड्रग्स बरामद की है। कुछ खबरें ये भी मिली है कि बहुत सारी ड्रग्स समंदर में फेंक दी गई है। अब हमें उम्मीद करनी चाहिए कि सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के केस के बहाने अब मुंबई में ड्रग्स माफिया का सफाया होगा।

Giving a fresh twist to Sushant death case, lawyer of Rhea Chakraborty obliquely alleged on Tuesday that Sushant’s sisters were trying to project the actor’s death as a case of murder in order to get insurance claim benefits. Allegations were made that Sushant’s sisters knew about the actor suffering from mental depression and were plotting to grab his properties.

Meanwhile, CBI continued to question Rhea’s parents for the second day on Wednesday. Enforcement Directorate had questioned Gaurav Arya about the drugs angle on Tuesday. A drug peddler told Narcotics Control Bureau that he knew Rhea’s brother Showik, who used to consume drugs. NCB director-general Rakesh Asthana is personally monitoring this drug angle probe.

On Tuesday, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde in an interview asked: “If a person has a huge life insurance policy, will his death be declared a suicide or for some other reason to enjoy the benefits of the policy? Statements of the people residing in the house reveal that his family was continuously informed. Right from the time the door was opened to the time when instructions were given to knock out the door, to the time when they saw the body hanging; IPS O. P. Singh was giving instructions as well. His family knew everything. I assure you she (Rhea) left the house because Sushant had asked her to. Rhea is being maliciously accused by her family.”

Clearly, the lawyer is trying his best to defend his client, because Maneshinde made another allegation against Sushant’s sister obtaining a fake prescription for Sushant.

Maneshinde said, “The records say the family was aware of his medication as far back as November 29, 2019. There are exchange of messages between Shruti (Modi) and his family asking for prescriptions and medicines. It was revealed that on 8th of June, 2020, when Rhea left the house around 12:30, he was in touch with his sisters. Priyanka had sent the message asking about his health. Previously he had asked for the medicines from her. She sent a couple of names of medicines which he said he can’t get without a prescription. She procured the prescription from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and send it to him. This prescription is a bogus one. Sushant has been entered as an OPD patient. The medicines prescribed to him fell in the narcotics section. He was not in Delhi when this entry was found.”

The lawyer said, “They have provided prescriptions from a doctor who has not even examined him. How can you prescribe medicines to a new person without looking at the ongoing medication? Also, he is being shown as the outpatient in the department. Therefore, it is obvious, the story cooked by his family is fake.”

Maneshinde also mentioned about a quarrel between Sushant and his sisters at Waterstone resort on 25-26th November when all three sisters were present. He alleged that Sushant’s sisters wanted to take him away from Mumbai and grab his properties. According to the lawyer, Sushant came to know about this and he had a quarrel with his sisters.

Maneshinde says, Sushant had booked tickets with his sisters for Chandigarh, but after the quarrel he left to stay with Rhea for a month and cancelled his Chandigarh trip. Maneshinde claims that a staff member at the resort had overheard Sushant’s sisters talking among themselves how to grab his properties. The staff member informed Sushant about this and the actor cancelled his Chandigarh trip. Sushant’s family is yet to come out publicly to rebut this allegation.

On Tuesday, Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi’s lawyer Ashok Saraogi alleged that Sushant’s sisters knew that the actor was taking drugs and was undergoing treatment. Sushant’s family members or their lawyers are yet to come out to rebut this allegation too.

In our prime time show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’ on Tuesday night we showed statements of Kushal Zaveri, who had acted with Sushant Singh Rajput in TV serials since 2008. Both had acted for three years in the serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Later Sushant left TV serials and worked in Bollywood. He asked Zaveri to work with him in films. Kushal Zaveri spoke extensively about his personal life to Bihar police investigators. Our Patna reporter Nitish Chandra accessed his detailed statement, and I have also gone through this statement. Two or three vital facts emerge.

One, Kushal told the investigators that Sushant was worried about his finances in December last year. He sought his bank statement from Shruti Modi, who in turn rang up Rhea, who immediately returned home and engaged Sushant in other talks and the bank statement was forgotten.

Two, Kushal revealed that in the beginning of 2018, there were nearly Rs 10 crore in Sushant’s bank account. The same year, Sushant donated Rs 2.25 crore for flood relief in Kerala and Nagaland. Sushant even visited flood-hit areas in Nagaland for two days. Kushal said, nearly Rs 8 crore was left in his account, but by the end of the year, he spent a lot on his pleasure trip to Thailand. Kushal revealed that despite huge expenses, Sushant was unperturbed. He used to say that he would earn more later.

Three, Kushal Zaveri revealed that on June 13, a day before he died, Sushant agreed to do two films for Ramesh Taurani on a video call. Kushal said, since big producers sign up for two films together, the deal was worth Rs 12-15 crore for the actor.

Zaveri also told Bihar police that on June 8, when Rhea left the house, Disha Salian committed suicide the same night. According to Zaveri, after Disha Salian’s suicide, Sushant became worried because news channels were running stories on Sushant’s ex-manager having committed suicide. Kushal said, Sushant used to frequently search Google on news relating to Disha Salian. According to him, Sushant asked Dipesh and Sidharth Pithani to contact Rhea, but they told him she had blocked his number. Kushal disclosed that after his break-up with Rhea, Sushant came closer to his old friends during the last 15 days of his life. He had stopped taking medicines since March.

Let me put the case, as of now, in perspective. Sushant’s family had alleged that Rhea misappropriated Rs 15 crore from Sushant’s accounts and either plotted his murder or forced him to commit suicide. Sushant’s father made this allegation in his FIR before Patna police. But what was the motive behind Sushant’s murder or abetment to suicide? Why did Rhea did so? Nobody from Sushant’s family side could establish the motive.

On the other hand, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde on Tuesday laid his cards on the table – the points on which he is going to argue the case in courts. He tried to bring a motive behind proving Sushant’s death as murder and not suicide. He said, collection of insurance claim could be one big reason. This is a serious allegation.

Secondly, Maneshinde said that Sushant’s family knew about his ailment, he was advised to take banned drugs without consulting a doctor. A fake prescription was procured from a Delhi government doctor without him examining the patient, sitting in Mumbai. This, in itself, is a crime.

Maneshinde insists that Rhea had an argument with Sushant on June 8 due to his sister, and there was no quarrel between her and Sushant. The sequence of events between June 8 and June 14 now needs to be properly investigated. This will bring the truth behind Sushant’s death before the public. Both Maneshinde and Shruti Modi’s lawyer Ashok Saraogi are alleging that Sushant’s sisters wanted to grab his properties.

Experts say that the probe that the CBI conducted for the last 13 days has not yielded a single piece of evidence to show that Sushant was murdered. The present line of investigation by CBI sleuths is to find out why Sushant, all of a sudden, committed suicide? Did anybody prod him to commit suicide? Or, was his mental depression the reason behind suicide? It is also being probed whether narcotics played a part in Sushant’s death.

In course of investigation, the drug angle cropped up too often, but one good fallout has been that in the last few day the Narcotics Control Bureau had tightened its screws around drug peddlers in Mumbai and they have all gone underground. There has been a big haul of narcotics in Mumbai recently. There are reports that a big quantity of drugs was disposed of in sea. One should hope that the drug mafia in Mumbai will be eliminated as a fallout of Sushant death case.

पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी के निधन से देश ने एक ऐसे निष्ठावान दिग्गज को खो दिया जिसने अपनी योग्यता के बल पर एक साधारण पद से सर्वोच्च संवैधानिक पद तक का सफर तय कर लोगों के बीच काफी सम्मान अर्जित किया। प्रणब दा के बारे में कहा जाता है कि अनुशासन को लेकर वे बेहद सख्त थे। उनकी यादाश्त तीक्ष्ण थी और इतिहास, कानून, पार्लियामेंट्री प्रैक्टिस और राजनीति विज्ञान का उन्हें व्यापक ज्ञान था। वे भारतीय राजनीति के एनसाइक्लोपीडिया थे।

प्रणब मुखर्जी जमीन से उठकर आए थे। उनका जन्म पश्चिम बंगाल के एक गरीब परिवार में हुआ था। वे रोजाना दस किलोमीटर पैदल चल कर स्कूल जाते थे। वे पूरे पचास साल राजनीति में रहे। सियासत में प्रणब दा1967 में आए। उन्होंने अजय मुखर्जी की बांग्ला कांग्रेस ज्वाइन कर राजनीति की शुरुआत की। उसी दौरान तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी की नजर में वे आए और कांग्रेस पार्टी में शामिल हो गए। प्रणब दा 1969 में राज्यसभा के मेंबर बने और 2002 तक लगातार राज्यसभा में रहे। सिर्फ एक बार 2004 में उन्होंने लोकसभा का चुनाव लड़ा और जीत हासिल की।

वर्ष 2012 में देश प्रणब दा देश राष्ट्रपति बने और 2019 में नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार ने उन्हें देश के सर्वोच्च सम्मान ‘भारत रत्न’ से नवाजा। वाकई प्रणव मुखर्जी जैसे ज्ञानी व्य़क्ति को यह सम्मान देना, किसी सम्मान की प्रतिष्ठा को बढ़ाना था। प्रणब मुखर्जी जिंदगी भर कांग्रेस के नेता रहे लेकिन एक बार जब राष्ट्रपति के पद पर बैठे तो किसी पार्टी के नहीं रहे। नए विचारों, नए सुझावों और नए प्रयोगों को प्रणब दा हमेशा प्रोत्साहित करते थे।

वर्ष 2018 में जब प्रणब मुखर्जी को RSS के वार्षिक कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर नागपुर आने का न्योता दिया गया तो बड़ी चर्चा हुई। सियासी तूफान उठा, लेकिन प्रणब मुखर्जी नागपुर गए। उन्होंने राष्ट्र हित के मुद्दे पर अपनी बात कही और संघ प्रमुख की बात सुनी। अर्थव्यवस्था को कैसे मजबूत किया जाए, गरीबों के उत्थान के लिए सरकार क्या-क्या कर सकती है, इसके लिए उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शक की भूमिका भी निभाई।

सोमवार को जैसे ही प्रणब दा के निधन की खबर आई तो सबसे पहले प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने दुख व्यक्त किया। पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीटर पर शोक संदेश के साथ जो तस्वीर पोस्ट की, उसमें मोदी प्रणब मुखर्जी के पैर छूते दिख रहे हैं। ये छोटी बात नहीं है। इस तस्वीर से यह जाहिर है कि पीएम मोदी पूर्व राष्ट्रपति के प्रति कितना सम्मान का भाव रखते थे। प्रणब मुखर्जी जब राष्ट्रपति थे तब और जब पद से मुक्त हो गए तब….जब भी किसी मसले पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को राय मशविरे की जरूरत होती थी तो प्रधानमंत्री का काफिला सीधे प्रणब मुखर्जी के घर की तरफ निकल जाता था।

मेरा नाता प्रणब दा से इमरजेंसी के बाद से था। इमरजेंसी खत्म होने के तुरंत बाद उनसे परिचय हुआ। प्रणब दा से जब भी मिलता था.. बातें करता था तो हमेशा कुछ न कुछ सीखने को मिलता था। ‘आपकी अदालत’ शो में प्रणब दा दो बार आए। मैंने उनसे तीखे सवाल पूछे लेकिन उन्होंने सीधे जबाव दिए। उन्होंने कभी इस बात का बुरा नहीं माना कि उलझाने वाले सवाल क्यों पूछते हो। वे हमेशा मुझसे कहते थे कि जो जनता जानना चाहती है, वो पूछना ही चाहिए। जब ‘आपकी अदालत’ शो के इक्कीस साल पूरे हुए उस समय प्रणब दा राष्ट्रपति थे और नरेन्द्र मोदी प्रधानमंत्री, दोनों इस विशेष आयोजन में शामिल हुए। इस मौके पर प्रणब दा ने सार्वजनिक तौर पर मुझसे जो कहा…वो मेरे कानों में आज भी गूंज रहा है।

राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी ने कहा, ‘रजत ने हमें बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम के जरिए वे अदालत में बहस करने के लिए बिना कानूनी डिग्री या बिना लाइसेंस वाले वकील बन गए हैं।’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘रजत, आपको देश के 125 करोड़ लोगों ने जनता का वकील बनाया है। इस रोल को कभी मत छोड़ना। आपको उन लोगों के खिलाफ मुकदमा चलाना चाहिए जिनके बारे में आपको यह पता चलता है कि उन्होंने कुछ गलत किया है, लोगों का अहित किया है, आम आदमी को नुकसान पहुंचाया है। मैं आपके कार्यक्रम की सफलता की कामना करता हूं और कृपया आप अपना रोल न बदलें। आप भारत की जनता के पब्लिक प्रॉस्क्यूटर (सरकारी वकील) हैं।

जो प्रणब दा से एक बार मिल लिया, जिसने उनके ज्ञान के सागर में गोता लगा लिया और जिसने उनसे कुछ सीख लिया वो जीवन भर प्रणब मुखर्जी को नहीं भूल सकता। प्रणब मुखर्जी के जीवन को कुछ शब्दों में समेटना संभव नहीं है। वो इंटलैक्चुअल थे, ज्ञान का भंडार थे, लेकिन सबसे ऊपर वो बेहतरीन इंसान थे। देश और समाज को बहुत अच्छी तरह समझते थे। वे देशभक्त थे और सबको साथ लेकर चलते थे। ‘सबका साथ, सबका विश्वास’ उन पर पूरी तरह फिट होता था।

प्रणब दा देश के राष्ट्रपति थे, लेकिन मेरे लिए वह हमेशा प्रणब दा ही रहे। देश की राजनीतिक घटनाओं के बारे में, देश की विदेश नीति के बारे में या फिर पार्लियामेंट मे हुई किसी चर्चा के बारे में या सरकार के किसी फैसले के बारे में कुछ भी जानना हो,जो कहीं न मिले तो प्रणब दा को फोन करो, सेकेन्ड्स में जबाव मिलता था।

चाहे कोई भी मंत्रालय हो, विदेश, रक्षा या फाइनेंस, प्रणब दा जिस मंत्रालय में भी रहे वहां उन्होंने अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ी। प्रणब दा स्वतंत्र भारत के उन तीन नेताओं में एक थे जिनके पास तीन सीसीएस (सुरक्षा मामलों पर कैबिनेट समिति) पद रहे- वित्त, रक्षा और विदेश मंत्रालय। प्रणब दा के पास भारत के प्रधानमंत्री बनने की पूरी क्षमता थी। तीन बार ऐसे मौके आए जब कांग्रेस उन्हें प्रधानमंत्री बना सकती थी। लेकिन मुझे हमेशा इस बात का दुख रहेगा कि उन्हें देश का प्रधानमंत्री बनने का अवसर नहीं मिला।

प्रणब दा के पास पीएम बनने का पहला मौका 1984 में था जब इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या हुई। उस वक्त प्रणब मुखर्जी और राजीव गांधी दोनों बंगाल में थे। वे एक साथ दिल्ली लौट रहे थे। जब राजीव गांधी ने उनसे पूछा कि किसे प्रधानमंत्री बनाना चाहिए। प्रणब मुखर्जी ने कहा कि जो सबसे सीनियर कैबिनेट मंत्री है उसे प्रधानमंत्री बनना चाहिए। प्रणब मुखर्जी उस वक्त कैबिनेट में सबसे सीनियर मंत्री थे। राजीव गांधी को ये बात अच्छी नहीं लगी। उसी शाम राजीव गांधी को तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति ज्ञानी जैल सिंह ने प्रधानमंत्री की शपथ दिलाई और प्रणब दा को कैबिनेट में जगह भी नहीं मिली। उसके बाद प्रणब मुखर्जी ने थोड़े दिन के लिए कांग्रेस छोड़ दी थी लेकिन फिर वो वापस आ गए।

दूसरी बार 1991 में प्रणब दा के पास पीएम बनने का अवसर आया। 1991 में राजीव गांधी की हत्या हुई उस समय गांधी परिवार ने प्रधानमंत्री पद की जिम्मेदारी पीवी नरसिम्हाराव को दी और प्रणब मुखर्जी को किनारे कर दिया। इसके बाद तीसरी बार जब 2004 में मौका आया तो सोनिया गांधी ने डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह को प्रधानमंत्री चुना। अगर प्रणब मुखर्जी को अवसर मिलता तो देश का और भी कल्याण होता। वो देश की प्रगति को एक नई दिशा दे सकते थे। उनका अनुभाव देश के बहुत काम आ सकता था और उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति बनने के बाद ये साबित करके दिखाया। उन्होंने जनता का प्यार हासिल किया। आज भले ही प्रणब दा हमारे बीच नहीं रहे लेकिन वो अनंत काल तक लोगों के दिलों में रहेंगे।

With the passing away of former President Pranab Mukherjee, the nation has lost a stalwart who, by sheer dint of merit, rose from common ranks to the highest constitutional position and earned the respect of his peers.

A strict disciplinarian, Pranab Da, as he was fondly called, had an elephantine memory and encyclopaedic knowledge about history, law, parliamentary practice, finance and political science.

Born in a poor family in West Bengal, he used to walk nearly 10 kilometres daily to attend school. Pranab Da remained in politics for 50 years. He entered politics by joining Ajoy Mukherjee’s Bangla Congress in 1967, caught the eye of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and joined Congress. He became a member of Rajya Sabha in 1969 and continued to remain member of the Upper House till 2002. In 2004, he contested Lok Sabha election from West Bengal and won.

The nation elected him President in 2012, and in 2019 the Modi government bestowed him with highest civilian honour, Bharat Ratna. To honour an erudite person like Pranab Da, is to enhance the prestige of this award. A Congressman to the core, Pranab Da left all political leanings after he became the President. He always used to encourage new ideas, new suggestions and fresh experiments.

In 2018, when Pranab Da was invited by the RSS to address its annual function in Nagpur, there was a political storm. Nevertheless he went to the event, heard the RSS chief speak, and expressed his opinion on issues of national interest. Pranab Da also guided Prime Minister Narendra Modi on how to strengthen the economy and work for the betterment of the poor.

On Monday, when news broke about Pranab Da’s passing away, Modi was among the first to react on Twitter. He posted a photograph of him touching the feet of Pranab Da. This image conveyed the extent of respect Modi had towards the former President. Whenever the PM needed guidance on any important matter, his cavalcade of cars always headed either to Rashtrapati Bhawan or to the former President’s house.

My first acquaintance with Pranab Da was soon after the Emergency was over. Whenever I met and talked with him, I always used to gain some knowledge from him. He was my guest in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show twice. I asked him some uncomfortable questions, but he never took umbrage. He always used to tell me, you should ask questions which the people want to ask. When ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ completed 21 years, Pranab Da attended the event as President, while Narendra Modi attended as Prime Minister. I still remember what Pranab Da told me publicly. Those words still ring in my ears.

He said, ‘Rajat told us that in this program, he became the prosecutor without having legal degree or licence to argue in court. That is not necessary Rajat, because 125 crore people of this country have appointed you as public prosecutor, and you should go on prosecuting the persons against whom you find something wrong has been done, interest of the people, interest of the common man has been harmed. I wish all success in your program, and please do not change your role. You be the public prosecutor of the people of India.’

Anyone who met Pranab Da never forgot the vast repertory of his knowledge. Anyone who learnt a small lesson from him, never forgot his contribution. An erudite intellectual and a repository of knowledge, he was, above all, a fine individual. He had a vast knowledge about the nation and society. A patriot to the core, he believed in taking everybody with him. The slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas’ perfectly fitted his persona.

He was the nation’s president, but, for me, he always remained Pranab Da. Whether it was any political development, or foreign policy, any parliamentary debate or any government policy, if one had to learn important facts and nuggets, it was Pranab Da, who used to provide them in seconds, over telephone.

Pranab Da left his imprint on all key ministries that he headed – defence, finance and external affairs. He was one among only three leaders in post-independent India who held three CCS (Cabinet Committee on Security) positions: finance, defence and external affairs. He had the full potential of becoming India’s prime minister. He had this chance thrice, but I regret to say, he failed all the three times. The Congress simply failed in choosing him as the PM.

First, in 1984, soon after the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination, both Pranab Da and Rajiv Gandhi were on tour in West Bengal. Both were returning to Delhi together. Rajiv asked him who should become the PM, Pranab Da replied the seniormost minister in the Cabient should become the PM. Since Pranab Da was the seniormost Cabinet minister at that time, Rajiv Gandhi did not take this answer lightly. The same evening, Rajiv Gandhi was administered oath of PM by the then President Giani Zail Singh, and Pranab Da failed to find a place in his cabinet. Pranab Da left the Congress but later rejoined the party.

In 1991, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated and the Gandhi family gave the Prime Minister post to P. V. Narasimha Rao, and sidelined Pranab Da. In 2004, when the Congress returned to power, Sonia Gandhi selected Dr. Manmohan Singh as PM. Had Pranab Da been made the PM, the nation could have benefitted more from his vast experience and he could have given a new direction to the nation’s progress. Pranab Da displayed his acumen when he was made the President. He was loved by the people. Pranab Da may not be among us today, but he will continue to remain in our memory forever.

ऐक्टर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत के मामले में CBI रिया चक्रवर्ती समेत कई अन्य लोगों का पॉलिग्राफ टेस्ट करवा सकती है। ये टेस्ट दिल्ली में स्थित केंद्रीय फॉरेंसिक साइंस लैब द्वारा किए जा सकते हैं। CBI ने शनिवार को सिद्धार्थ पिठानी, नौकर नीरज, रसोइया केशव और अकाउंटेंट रजत मेवाती से पूछताछ का एक और दौर शुरू कर दिया। वहीं, रिया से भी इसके कुछ देर बाद पूछताछ शुरू हुई।

शुक्रवार को CBI ने रिया से तकरीबन 10 घंटे तक पूछताछ की थी। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, पूछताछ के दौरान रिया ने CBI को बताया कि जब वह सुशांत से पहली बार मिली, उससे पहले से ही उन्हें मारिजुआना की लत थी। उसने कथित तौर पर CBI को बताया कि उसने सुशांत से ड्रग्स की लत छुड़वाने की कोशिश की थी और उन्हें मेंटल डिप्रेशन के इलाज के लिए साइकायट्रिस्ट के पास ले गई थी। रिया ने कथित तौर पर सीबीआई से कहा कि उसने अपने जीवन में कभी भी ड्रग्स नहीं ली है और न ही कभी इसे खरीदा है। उसने सीबीआई को यह भी बताया कि सुशांत की मां की मौत मेंटल डिप्रेशन के चलते हुई थी।

सुशांत के ड्रग्स लेने और मेंटल डिप्रेशन से उनकी मां की मौत के बारे में रिया के दावे बेहद चौंकाने वाले हैं। जैसी कि उम्मीद थी, सुशांत के परिजनों ने रिया के दावे पर तीखा पलटवार किया। सुशांत की बहन श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति ने रिया और उसके ग्रुप के लोगों के बीच वॉट्सऐप पर हुई बातचीत की तस्वीरें पोस्ट कीं, जिनमें यह साफ जाहिर हो रहा था कि उन्होंने पेडलर्स से ड्रग्स की खरीद की थी। उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, ‘यहां क्या चल रहा था, हम इसका क्या मतलब निकलें?’। एक अन्य ट्वीट पर, जिसमें रिया ने दावा किया था कि उसने बैंक से लोन लेकर खार में एक फ्लैट खरीदा है, श्वेता ने ट्वीट किया, ‘आप इस बात से परेशान हैं कि आप 17 हजार रुपये की EMI का भुगतान कैसे करेंगी? कृपया मुझे बताएं कि आप भारत के सबसे महंगे वकील को कैसे भुगतान कर रही हैं जिन्हें आपने हायर किया है?’ एक अन्य ट्वीट में उन्होंने लिखा, ‘जब आप अपने ही झूठ के जाल में फंस जाते हैं, तो आप पागलों की तरह बातें करने लगते हैं।’

पूछताछ के दौरान रिया ने सीबीआई से बार-बार कहा कि सुशांत अपने परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ बहुत अच्छे रिश्ते नहीं थे। उसने इन आरोपों को खारिज कर दिया कि उसने सुशांत को अपने पिता और बहनों के साथ संपर्क रखने के लिए मना लिया था। रिया ने पूछताछ के दौरान इस बात का जिक्र किया कि कैसे सुशांत ने चंडीगढ़ जाकर अपनी बहन के साथ लंबे समय तक रहने की प्लानिंग की थी, वह खुद ड्राइव करके चंडीगढ़ गए, लेकिन अपनी बहन के साथ मुश्किल से 2 दिन ही रहे। सिद्धार्थ पिठानी ने भी चंडीगढ़ की यात्रा के बारे में रिया के दावे की पुष्टि की थी।

पिठानी ने सीबीआई को बताया था कि सुशांत जनवरी में चंडीगढ़ में अपनी बहन के साथ लगभग एक महीने रहना चाहते थे, उन्होंने अहमदाबाद और गुरुग्राम में रुकते हुए सड़क के रास्ते जाने की प्लानिंग की थी। पिठानी ने कहा कि सुशांत जब गुरुग्राम के एक होटल में ठहरे थे तब उनकी तबीयत खराब हो गई, उन्हें उनके डॉक्टर के द्वारा बताई गई दवाइयां दी गईं, इसके बाद वह चंडीगढ़ पहुंचे लेकिन मुश्किल से 2 दिन बाद ही लौट आए। वहीं दूसरी तरफ सुशांत की बहन ने कहा कि रिया ने सुशांत को चंडीगढ़ जाने से रोकने की पूरी कोशिश की थी और उसे फोन पर धमकी देकर लौटने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया था।

सुशांत की बहन श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति का आरोप है कि सुशांत ने जनवरी में रानी दीदी को एक अर्जेंट कॉल करके उन्हें बताया था कि उनको ड्रग्स दिया जा रहा है और अलग-थलग कर दिया गया है। सुशांत ने अपनी बहन से कहा था कि वह इस आइसोलशन से बाहर आना चाहते हैं और चंडीगढ़ जाना चाहते हैं। जैसे ही वह चंडीगढ़ पहुंचे, रिया ने 3 दिन के अंदर कम से कम 25 बार फोन किया और उन्हें वापसी के लिए मजबूर कर दिया। श्वेता जानना चाहती हैं कि रिया उनके भाई को वापस बुलाने की जल्दी में क्यों थी।

रिया ने सीबीआई से कहा कि वह पिछले कई महीनों से सुशांत की सेहत का ख्याल रख रही थी और उन्हें उनके परिवार के लोगों से भी मदद की उम्मीद थी, लेकिन उनमें से कोई भी आगे नहीं आया। रिया ने यह भी कहा कि सुशांत ने पिछले 5 सालों से अपने पिता से बात नहीं की थी, और अपने दावे के समर्थन में उसने सुशांत के पिता पिता और परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों की कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड की जांच करने के लिए कहा। रिया ने कहा कि सुशांत के पिता दूसरे लोगों से अपने बेटे के बारे में जानकारी लेते थे, लेकिन शायद ही कभी उन्होंने अपने बेटे से सीधे बात की हो।

रिया के इस दावे पर पलटवार करते हुए सुशांत के परिजनों ने पिछले साल 14 और 15 मई के वीडियो जारी किए, जब सुशांत बिहार में अपनी फैमिली से मिलने गए थे। ये वीडियो उनके चचेरे भाई और बीजेपी विधायक नीरज कुमार बबलू के सहरसा में स्थित नए घर में गृहप्रवेश के कार्यक्रम से जुड़े हैं। सुशांत अपने पिता के साथ अपने चचेरे भाई के नए घर पर गए थे। पूजा के बाद सुशांत अपने पैतृक गांव गए भी गए जहां उन्होंने अपनी कुलदेवी की पूजा की, युवाओं के साथ क्रिकेट खेले और मीडिया से बात की।

शुक्रवार की रात अपने प्राइम टाइम शो ‘आज की बात’ में हमने सुशांत के वे वीडियो दिखाए जिनमें वह अपने पिता को बिहार में फैन्स की भारी भीड़ से बचाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। वीडियो में सुशांत अपने पिता का रास्ता साफ करने के लिए लोगों को हटाते हुए दिख रहे हैं। वीडियो में एक मौके पर सुशांत अपने पिता के आने का इंतजार करते हुए दिखाई दे रहे हैं, उनके पिता जब आ जाते हैं तो सुशांत उनका हाथ पकड़कर आगे बढ़ते हैं। इस वीडियो में कहीं भी दोनों लोगों के बीच किसी भी तरह की व्यक्तिगत कड़वाहट जाहिर नहीं हो रही है। ऐसे में रिया का यह आरोप हवा हो जाता है कि सुशांत के अपने पिता के साथ अच्छे संबंध नहीं थे। एक और झूठ पकड़ में आ गया।

सुशांत के चचेरे भाई नीरज कुमार बबलू ने कहा कि सुशांत ने पिछले साल अपने पिता के साथ 3 जिलों में घूमने गए थे और कई कार्यक्रमों में भाग लिया था। उन्होंने कहा कि एक मशहूर ऐक्टर होने के नाते वह अपने काम में बिजी थे और ऐसे में वह अपने परिवार के सदस्यों को मुश्किल से ही समय दे पाते थे, लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि अपने परिवार के साथ उनके अच्छे ताल्लुकात नहीं थे।

रिया ने दावा किया था कि सुशांत की मां की मौत मेंटल डिप्रेशन के चलते हुई थी। सुशांत के चचेरे भाई नीरज कुमार बबलू के बयान ने इस झूठ की भी हवा निकाल दी। उन्होंने बताया कि सुशांत की मां उषा सिंह का 13 दिसंबर 2002 को पटना के चांद मेमोरियल हॉस्पिटल ब्रेन हैमरेज के चलते निधन हुआ था। उन्होंने बताया कि वह अपने बाथरूम में गिर गई थीं जिससे उनके सिर में चोटें आईं थीं। दो दिन बाद ही ब्रैन हैमरेज के कारण अस्पताल में उनकी मौत हो गई। सुशांत के चचेरे भाई ने कहा कि वह कभी भी मेंटल डिप्रेशन से पीड़ित नहीं थीं।

CBI अफसरों ने रिया से डिटेल में पूछा कि 8 जून को वाकई में क्या हुआ था जब उसने सुशांत के फ्लैट को अचानक छोड़ दिया। CBI के लोग यह जानना चाहते थे कि वास्तव में वह ट्रिगर पॉइंट क्या था जिसके चलते उसने अचानक ही फ्लैट छोड़ दिया और उसने सुशांत के फोन कॉल्स को ब्लॉक क्यों कर दिया था। हमारे सुत्रों ने बताया कि रिया ने सीबीआई को कोई संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दिया और लीपापोती करने की कोशिश की।

अपने पहले लिखित बयान में रिया ने कहा था कि उसने खुद अपनी मर्जी से फ्लैट छोड़ा था, लेकिन अब वह कह रही है कि उसे ऐसा करने के लिए सुशांत ने कहा था। जब पूछा गया कि सुशांत ने उसे फ्लैट छोड़ने के लिए क्यों कहा, तो रिया कोई संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दे सकी। उसने केवल इतना कहा कि चूंकि उसकी बहन मीतू आने वाली थी, इसलिए सुशांत ने उसे फ्लैट से जाने के लिए कहा था। रिया अपने पुराने बयानों पर अड़ी रही कि सुशांत की बहनें उसे पसंद नहीं करती थीं, और सिर्फ वही थी जो दिवंगत अभिनेता की देखभाल कर रही थी।

सुशांत की बहनों ने रिया के दावों को सफेद झूठ बताकर खारिज कर दिया है। यहां तक कि सिद्धार्थ पिठानी ने भी जांचकर्ताओं को बताया कि मीतू ने 8 जून से लेकर 13 जून तक, सुशांत की मौत के एक दिन पहले तक, उनका काफी ख्याल रखा था। पिठानी ने कहा है कि अपनी बहन मीतू की वजह से सुशांत को अच्छा लगने लगा था और उनके अंदर कॉन्फिडेंस आने लगा था। चूंकि मीतू को अपने बच्चों की देखभाल के लिए 13 जून को लौटना पड़ा, इसलिए उन्होंने फ्लैट छोड़ दिया और अगले ही दिन यह दुखद घटना हो गई।

सुशांत की मौत का रहस्य दिन-ब-दिन गहराता जा रहा है क्योंकि रिया और सुशांत की बहनें दो बिल्कुल अलग-अलग बातें बोल रही हैं। रिया का कहना है कि सुशांत मेंटल डिप्रेशन से पीड़ित थे, उनकी बहनें कह रही हैं कि वह ठीक थे और रिया ने ही उन्हें मेंटली इनसेक्यॉर कर दिया था और उनकी जिंदगी के फैसले लेने लगी थीं। रिया का कहना है कि सुशांत के अपने पिता और बहनों के साथ अच्छे रिश्ते नहीं थे, वहीं सुशांत के परिजनों ने उसके झूठ की धज्जियां उड़ाने के लिए वीडियो जारी कर दिया।

रिया का कहना है कि उन्हें 8 जून को फ्लैट छोड़ने के लिए सुशांत ने कहा था, जबकि उनकी बहनें कह रही हैं कि उनके भाई मई से रिया को वहां से जाने के लिए कह रहे थे। रिया का कहना है कि उसने सुशांत का बहुत ख्याल रखा, लेकिन उनकी बहनें कह रही हैं कि अगर रिया सच में उनकी परवाह करती थी, तो उसने फ्लैट छोड़कर जाते वक्त किसी को यह क्यों नहीं बताया कि सुशांत को कौन-सी दवाएं देनी थीं और उन्हें क्या बीमारी थी। परिवार के लोग पूछते हैं कि रिया ने सुशांत के कुक, ड्राइवर और बॉडीगार्ड को क्यों बदला। वहीं, रिया का कहना है कि उन्होंने कोई स्टाफ नहीं बदला, जब वह फ्लैट में आई तो ये लोग वहां पहले से ही थे।

परिवार के लोगों का आरोप है कि रिया और उसके भाई ने सुशांत के बैंक अकाउंट्स से 15 करोड़ रुपये निकाल लिए, जबकि रिया का कहना है कि उसने सारे बैंक अकाउंट्स की डिटेल ईडी को सौंप दी है। सुशांत की बहन कहती हैं किसी को यह कहकर दवाएं देना कि वह मेंटली डिप्रेस्ड है, जालसाजी के जैसा है, जबकि रिया का कहना है कि जब वह सुशांत से मिली उससे पहले से ही वह मारिजुआना का सेवन कर रहे थे।

इतने सारे विरोधाभासों के साथ हरेक आरोप की जांच करने एक बेहद ही जटिल काम है, और ऐसे हालात में किसी को भी दोषी बता पाना बेहद मुश्किल है। इस समय मैं सिर्फ इतना कह सकता हूं कि भारत में बड़ी संख्या में लोग सुशांत के पिता और उनके परिवार के प्रति सहानुभूति रखते हैं, जिन्हें अपने लोकप्रिय बेटे को खोना पड़ा, और जहां तक रिया का सवाल है, तो उसे यह साबित करना होगा कि वह निर्दोष है। उसे यह भी साबित करना होगा कि उसका भाई और परिवार के लोग भी निर्दोष हैं, क्योंकि वे सभी जांच का सामना कर रहे हैं।

हमें अपने सूत्रों से जो रिपोर्ट्स मिल रही हैं, उनके मुताबिक आने वाले दिनों में रिया की मुश्किलें बढ़ने वाली हैं। रिया के द्वारा डिलीट कर दिए गए वॉट्सऐप मैसेजेज, जिन्हें ईडी ने फिर रिट्रीव कर लिया था, से जो खुलासे हुए हैं वे पूरे प्रकरण में नारकोटिक्स ऐंगल की तरफ इशारा कर रहे हैं। रिया को काफी सवालों के जवाब अभी देने हैं।

The CBI may go in for polygraph tests of actor Rhea Chakraborty and several others in Sushant Rajput death case. These may be conducted in Delhi by Central Forensic Science Lab. On Saturday, CBI began another round of questioning of Siddharth Pithani, servant Niraj, cook Keshav and accountant Rajat Mewati, with Rhea scheduled to be questioned late in the day.

On Friday, CBI had questioned Rhea for nearly ten hours. During the interrogation, sources said, Rhea told the CBI sleuths that Sushant was habitually consuming marijuana before he met her for the first time. She reportedly told CBI that she tried to wean him away from drugs and took her to a psychiatrist for treatment of mental depression. Rhea also reportedly told CBI that she never consumed narcotics in her life, nor did she ever purchase them. She also told CBI sleuths that Sushant’s mother’s death was due to mental depression.

Rhea’s claims about Sushant taking drugs and his mother dying of mental depression, were, to say the least, shocking. Expectedly, Sushant’s family members reacted sharply. Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti posted pictures of the WhatsApp conversations between Rhea and her associates which clearly showed that she procured drugs from peddlers. “What was going on…what are we to conclude?”, she tweeted. In another tweet, which showed Rhea claiming that she bought a flat in Khar with loan from a bank, Shweta tweeted: “You are worried about how you will be paying 17,000 in EMI, please tell me how are you paying the most expensive lawyer of India you have hired?” In another tweet, she write: “When you are trapped in the web of your own lies.. you sound insane!!”

During interrogation, Rhea repeatedly told CBI sleuths that Sushant was not on the best of terms with his family members. She rejected charges that she had persuaded Sushant not to keep in touch with his father and sisters. In course of questioning, she mentioned how Sushant planned to go to Chandigarh to stay with his sister for a long time, he himself drove all the way to Chandigarh but stayed with her sister for hardly two days. Siddharth Pithani also confirmed Rhea’s claim about the Chandigarh trip.

Pithani had told CBI that Sushant wanted to stay with his sister in Chandigarh for nearly a month in January, he had planned to go by road with stops in Ahmedabad and Gurugram. Pithani said, Sushant fell ill while staying in a hotel in Gurugram, he was given medicines prescribed by his doctor, reached Chandigarh but returned after barely two days. On the other hand, Sushant’s sister is on record having said that it was Rhea who tried her best to prevent Sushant from going to Chandigarh and forced him to return after giving him threats over phone.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti alleges that in January, Sushant had made an urgent call to Rani Didi, told her that he was being given drugs and has been confined in isolation. Sushant told his sister that he wanted to come out of this isolation and wanted to go to Chandigarh. The moment he reached Chandigarh, Rhea made at least 25 phone calls to him in three days and forced him to return. Shweta wants to know why Rhea was in a hurry to call back her brother.

Rhea has told CBI that she was taking care of Sushant’s health for the last several months and she had expected his family members to cooperate, but none of them came forward. Rhea also said that Sushant has not spoken to his father for the last five years, and in support of her claim, she asked the sleuths to check the call detail records of his father and other family members. Rhea said, Sushant’s father used to take details about his son from others, but rarely spoke to his son directly.

In reply, Sushant’s family members released videos of May 14 and 15 last year, when Sushant had visited his family in Bihar. The videos relate to the ‘griha pravesh’ ceremony at the new house of his cousin and BJP MLA Niraj Kumar Babloo in Saharsa. Sushant had visited his cousin’s new home with his father. After pooja, Sushant went to his native village and prayed before the ‘kul devi’, played cricket with youngsters and spoke to the media.

In our prime time show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’ on Friday night, we showed videos of Sushant trying to protect his father from the surging crowd of fans in Bihar eager to come nearer to the actor. The video clearly shows Sushant clearing the way for his father to walk. In the video, at one point, Sushant was seen waiting for his father to come forward, the father comes up and Sushant holds his father’s hand to walk ahead. Nowhere is any sort of personal bitterness evident between the two. This flies in the face of Rhea’s allegation that Sushant was not on good terms with his father. Another lie nailed.

Sushant’s cousin Niraj Kumar Babloo has said that Sushant toured three districts with his father and himself last year, and attended several events. He said, being a famous actor he was busy and could hardly give time to his family members, but it does not mean that he was not on good terms with his family.

Rhea had claimed that Sushant’s mother died of mental depression. Sushant’s cousin Niraj Kumar Babloo’s statement nailed this lie. He said, Sushant’s mother Usha Singh, died on December 13, 2002 in Patna’s Chand Memorial Hospital, after she suffered brain haemmorhage because she fell in her bathroom and had head injuries. She died in the hospital after two days. She never suffered from mental depression, said Sushant’s cousin.

CBI sleuths asked Rhea in detail what exactly happened on June 8 when she left Sushant’s flat all of a sudden. CBI sleuths wanted to know what exactly was the trigger point that caused her to leave the flat abruptly and why did she block Sushant’s phone calls. Our sources say that Rhea did not give any satisfying answer to the CBI and tried to obfuscate.

In her earlier written statement, Rhea had said that she left the flat of her own accord, but her current position is that Sushant asked her to leave. When asked why Sushant asked her to leave, Rhea could not give a satisfying answer. She only said that since his sister Mitu was going to come, he asked her to leave. Rhea stuck to her original statements that Sushant’s sisters did not like him, and it was only she who was taking care of the actor.

Sushant’s sisters have rejected Rhea’s claim as sheer lies. Even Siddharth Pithani has told investigators that Mitu took great care of Sushant from June 8 till June 13, a day before the actor died. Pithani has said that it was because of his sister Mitu that Sushant started feeling good and was beginning to regain confidence. Since Mitu had to return on June 13 to look after her children, she left the flat and the next day, the tragic act took place.

Sushant’s death mystery is becoming more and more complex because Rhea and Sushant’s sisters are speaking in two different directions. Rhea says, Sushant was suffering from mental depression, his sisters say that he was alright and it was Rhea who made him mentally insecure and took charge of his life. Rhea says, Sushant was not on good terms with his father and sister, Sushant’s family members have come forward with videos to nail her lies.

Rhea says, Sushant asked her to leave the flat on June 8, Sushant’s sisters say that the actor had been telling Rhea to leave since May. Rhea says, she took much care of Sushant, but his sisters say, if Rhea really cared about him, why did she not tell them at the time of leaving about which medicines to give and which ailment he was suffering from. The family members ask, why Rhea changed Sushant’s cook, driver and bodyguard. Rhea says, she did not change any staff, they were there from the time she came to the flat.

Family members allege that Rhea and her brother diverted Rs 15 crore from Sushant’s accounts, Rhea says, she has submitted all the bank account details to ED. Sushant’s sister says, giving medicines to somebody by saying that he was mentally depressed amounted to manipulation, Rhea says, Sushant was already consuming marijuana before he had met her.

With so many contradictions, investigation into each and every charge becomes a complicated job, and to name somebody as guilty at this point of time is very difficult. Presently, I can only say that a large number of people in India sympathize with Sushant’s father and his family who had to bear the loss of their renowned son, and for Rhea, she has to prove that she is innocent. She has also to prove that her brother and family members are innocent, because her family is facing investigation.

From the reports that we gather from our sources, Rhea’s problems are going to increase in the coming days. Revelations made from WhatsApp messages that Rhea had deleted and since retrieved by ED, points towards a narcotics angle in the whole episode. She has a lot to answer.

ऐक्टर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की रहस्यमयी मौत के मामले में CBI ने शुक्रवार को मुंबई में रिया चक्रवर्ती से पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है। सुशांत के हाउस मैनेजर सैमुअल मिरांडा, जो रिया को ड्रग्स उपलब्ध करवाने वालों में से एक बताया जा रहा है, से भी पूछताछ हुई। गुरुवार की अर्धरात्रि तक, 12 घंटे से भी ज्यादा चली मैराथन पूछताछ में CBI ने रिया के भाई शौविक, सिद्धार्थ पिठानी, हाउस स्टाफ नीरज, केशव और सुशांत के पूर्व अकाउंटेंट रजत मेवाती से सुशांत की मौत से जुड़े सवाल किए। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के अधिकारियों ने रिया के पिता और रिटायर्ड आर्मी ऑफिसर इंद्रजीत चक्रवर्ती को उनके लॉकर की छानबीन करने के लिए एक्सिस बैंक की ब्रांच में ले गए, जबकि नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो गोवा और बाकी जगहों पर संदिग्ध ड्रग पेडलर गौरव आर्या की तलाश कर रही है।

तेजी से कसते जा रहे शिकंजे के बीच एक टीवी इंटरव्यू में रिया चक्रवर्ती ने मामले में अपना पक्ष रखा। पटना में, सुशांत के पिता के के सिंह ने 25 दिनों में दूसरी बार बोलते हुए रिया को एक ऐसी हत्यारिन कहा जिसने उनके बेटे को मारने के लिए धीरे-धीरे जहर दिया। उन्होंने रिया की गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। सुशांत की बहनों ने भी आगे आकर रिया के खिलाफ नए आरोप लगाए। सुशांत की पूर्व प्रेमिका अंकिता लोखंडे ने एक छोटा वीडियो पोस्ट किया जिसमें सुशांत यह कहते हुए दिखाई दे रहे हैं कि उनका सपना पायलट बनने का था। यह वीडियो रिया के उस दावे को खारिज करने के लिए था जिसमें उसने कहा था कि सुशांत को हवाई यात्रा से डर लगता था।

सुशांत की बहन श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति ने आरोप लगाया कि रिया की सरपरस्ती में काम करने वाले गैंग ने उनके भाई को धीरे-धीरे जहर देकर मारने में बड़ी भूमिका अदा की। ट्विटर पर एक लंबे थ्रेड में श्वेता ने लिखा: ‘काश, भाई उस लड़की से कभी नहीं मिलए होते!! किसी को उसकी मर्जी के बिना ड्रग देना और फिर उसे कन्विंस करना कि तुम्हारी हालत ठीक नहीं है, उसे साइकायट्रिस्ट्स के पास ले जाना…यह किस स्तर की चालबाजी है!! तुम अपनी आत्मा को क्या जवाब दोगी!! तुमने बहुत कुछ कर दिया है!!

‘तुम्हारे अंदर इतनी हिम्मत है कि नेशनल मीडिया पर आकर मेरे पवित्र भाई की मौत के बाद उसकी छवि खराब करो। तुम्हें क्या लगता है कि तुमने जो भी किया उसे भगवान नहीं देख रहे। मैं भगवान में यकीन रखती हूं और मुझे उनपर विश्वास है, और अब मैं यह देखना चाहती हूं कि वह तुम्हारे साथ क्या करते हैं। तो ये सवाल हैं जो तुम पूछ रहे हो…कि सुशांत को मेंटल डिप्रेशन था और शायद वह बाइपोलर था और रिया को इसके बारे में कब पता चला!! और तुम्हारा कहना है कि तुम्हें सुशांत से प्यार है!! कितने शर्म की बात है!!’

‘जैसा कि रिया ने अपने इंटरव्यू में कहा, हमें अपने भाई से प्यार नहीं था। सही बात है, इसीलिए तो जनवरी में जैसे ही मुझे पता चला कि भाई चंडीगढ़ आ रहा है और उसकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं है, मैं अमेरिका से भारत आ गई। मुझे अपना कामकाज रोक कर और बच्चों को छोड़कर आना पड़ा! सबसे बुरी बात यह रही कि मैं उससे फिर भी नहीं मिल सकी, क्योंकि मैं जबतक मैं वहां पहुंचती भाई चंडीगढ़ से जा चुका था, क्योंकि रिया लगातार फोन कर रही थी और उसे कुछ काम भी था। परिवार हमेशा उसके साथ एक चट्टान बनकर खड़ा रहा है। जनवरी में ही भाई ने रानी दी को मदद के लिए कॉल की थी। उसे ड्रग दिया गया था और अकेले छोड़ दिया गया था। उसके चंडीगढ़ पहुंचते ही 2-3 दिनों के भीतर रिया ने 25 कॉल की थीं। क्यों? उसे वापस बुलाने की ऐसी क्या जल्दबाज़ी थी!’

‘सारी बातों को एक परिप्रेक्ष्य में रखने के लिए, जांच को लेकर किए गए मीडिया के खुलासों द्वारा पिछले 2 दिनों में हमने जो जाना है वह ये है कि: 1. रिया और गैंग ने सुशांत को महीनों तक ड्रग्स दिए, बेहोशी में रखा ताकि उसपर काबू पा सकें। उसके बैंक खाते खाली कर दिए और परिवार से दूर रखा ताकि कोई उसकी मदद न कर सके। 2. जब 18 मई के आसपास भाई अपनी पर आ गया और चार्ज अपने हाथ में लेने की कोशिश की, उसने घर पर बात की तो ये गैंग बौखला गया और आपस में मैसेज पर बात हुई कि कैसे सुशांत के पैसों को अपने कंट्रोल में रख सकें। 3. 8 जून को जब रिया मेरे भाई का घर छोड़कर गई, तो उसने भाई के सिस्टम से डेटा निकालने के लिए वहां एक आईटी टीम भेजी। क्या? उन्होंने 8 हार्ड ड्राइव में डेटा भरा, जब मेरे भाई ने उनको रोका तो उसको एक धमकी भरा फोन आया। ये सब सीबीआई के रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक है। 4. उसी रात को दिशा की मौत हुई।’

मैं श्वेता सिंह कीर्ति की पूरी ट्विटर पोस्ट के बारे में इसलिए बात कर रहा हूं ताकि उस दर्द और पीड़ा को व्यक्त किया जा सके जिससे वह और उनका परिवार आज गुजर रहे हैं। गुरुवार को सुशांत के पिता के वकील विकास सिंह ने कहा कि उन 8 हार्ड डिस्क में निश्चित रूप से ऐसा डेटा रहा होगा जिसे रिया सार्वजनिक करना नहीं चाहती होगी। वकील के मुताबिक, हो सकता है कि डिस्क्स में ड्रग्स के लेनदेन और खरीद से जुड़ी चीजें रही हों, जो रिया के लिए समस्या पैदा कर सकते थे।

अपने इंटरव्यू में रिया ने दावा किया कि सुशांत को हवाई जहाज से यात्रा करने में डर लगता था, लेकिन सुशांत की दोस्त रहीं अंकिता लोखंडे ने एक ऐसा वीडियो पोस्ट किया जिसमें सुशांत खुद कह रहे थे कि उनके 50 सपनों में से पहला सपना पायलट बनने का था। अभी तक इस मामले में जितने भी तथ्य और खुलासे सामने आए हैं वे शक की सुई रिया की तरफ ले जाते हैं। रिया पहले ही ईडी और मुंबई पुलिस की पूछताछ का सामना कर चुकी है, लेकिन फिर भी इस मामले में उसकी भूमिका को लेकर शक बना हुआ है। गुरुवार को अपने इंटरव्यू में उसने सुशांत के परिवार के खिलाफ आरोप लगाए। अब जब रिया ने सार्वजनिक रूप से आरोप लगाए हैं, तो उसे अब जवाब में आने वाले नए आरोपों का सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए।

अपने इंटरव्यू में रिया ने दावा किया है कि सुशांत उससे मिलने से पहले भी मारिजुआना लेते थे। लेकिन सभी वॉट्सएप मैसेजेज जिसमें रिया ने अपने ‘गैंग’ के साथ बातचीत की है, साफतौर पर कुछ और ही इशारा करते हैं। रिया और उसके सहयोगियों के ड्रग पेडलर्स के साथ गहरे रिश्ते थे, और वे अक्सर सुशांत और खुद के लिए ड्रग्स खरीदते रहते थे।

सुशांत की बहन श्वेता ने कहा कि उनके भाई को 8 जून से ही खतरा था, जिस दिन रिया ने घर छोड़ा था और आईटी टीम को 8 हार्ड डिस्क में मौजूद डेटा को नष्ट करने के लिए भेजा था। सुशांत ने तब तक अपनी जिंदगी के फैसले खुद लेने का मन बना लिया था। श्वेता ने आरोप लगाया है कि कथित तौर पर रिया ने सुशांत के क्रेडिट कार्ड के पिन बदल दिए थे, और उनके कंप्यूटर सिस्टम से सारा डेटा नष्ट कर दिया। अपने बचाव में रिया ने दावा किया है कि उसे घर छोड़ने के लिए सुशांत ने कहा था और वह खुद सुशांत की मेंटल हेल्थ के चलते दिक्कतों का सामना कर रही थी। रिया ने कहा कि उसने मुंबई पुलिस को इस बारे में बताया था। हालांकि यह हैरान करने वाली बात है कि इन सारे खुलासों के बावजूद मुंबई पुलिस ने न तो कोई FIR दर्ज की और न ही इसकी जांच को सार्वजनिक किया।

The CBI has begun questioning actor Rhea Chakraborty in Mumbai on Friday in the case of the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Also questioned was Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s house manager, said to be one of those assistants who procured drugs for Rhea.

On Thursday late till midnight, CBI had in a marathon interrogation for over 12 hours questioned Rhea’s brother Showik, Sidharth Pithani, house staff Niraj, Keshav and Sushant’s former accountant Rajat Mewati in connection with the actor’s death. Enforcement Directorate officials took Rhea’s father retired army officer Indrajit Chakraborty to the Axis bank branch to check his locker, while the Narcotics Control Bureau is on the hunt for suspected drugs peddler Gaurav Arya in Goa and other places.

With the dragnet fast closing in, Rhea Chakraborty in a TV interview presented her side of the story. In Patna, Sushant’s father K K Singh, speaking for the second time in 25 days, described Rhea as a murderer who gave slow poison to his son to ensure his death. He demanded her arrest. Sushant’s sisters also joined in and levelled fresh charges against Rhea. Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande posted a small video in which Sushant was saying that his dream was to become a pilot. This was meant to debunk Rhea’s claim that Sushant was afraid of air travel.

Sushant’s sister Sweta Singh Kirti alleged that it was the group led by Rhea which was instrumental in giving slow poison leading to her brother’s death. In a long thread, she wrote on Twitter: “I wish Bhai would have never met that girl at all!! Drugging someone without his consent and then convincing him that you are not well, taking him to the psychiatrists… what level of manipulation is this!! How will you ever redeem your soul!!! You are so done!!..

“ You have guts to come on National Media and tarnish the image of my pure brother after his death!! You think God is not watching for what you have done! I believe in God and I have faith, now I really want to see what he will do to you..So these are the probing questions you are asking… that Sushant has mental depression and maybe he is Bipolar and by when Rhea came to know about it!! And you say you loved Sushant!! What a SHAME!!…

“ As Rhea mentioned in her interview,We didn’t love our brother!! Yeah right, that’s why I flew all the way from USA to India in Jan as soon as I got to know Bhai is visiting Chandigarh and is not keeping well. I had to stall my business and leave my kids behind!.…

“The worst part was I didn’t even get to meet him coz by the time I reached, Bhai had already left Chandigarh because of the constant pestering calls of Rhea and some work commitments. Family was always there standing rock solid for him!!.. Jan was the time when Bhai made a SOS call to Rani Di, he was drugged, confined and isolated. Soon after he reached Chandigarh there were 25 calls made by Rhea in less than 2-3 days time frame. WHY??What was the urgency to call him back!”

“So to put things in perspective, what we have gotten to know in the past 2 days as per the media revelations of the investigation that is unfolding: 1. Rhea and Gang drugged and sedated Sushant over the months to take control of him. Financially robbed him and made sure family members can’t reach him by any means to rescue him. 2. When Bhai put his foot down on May 18th and tried to take over the charge, and got in touch with the family. This gang panicked and exchanged texts regarding how to still have control over Bhai’s finances. 3. On 8th, when Rhea walked out of my Brother’s house, she sent an IT team to collect data from my brother’s devices. What??? They collected 8 hard disks full of data and when my brother stopped them, he got a threat call. As per the statements recorded by CBI. 4. The same night Disha died.

I am quoting Shweta Singh Kirti’s Twitter posts in full in order to convey the depth of pain and anguish that she and her family members are presently going through. On Thursday, Sushant’s father’s lawyer Vikas Singh that the eight hard disks surely contained data which Rhea did not want to make them public. According to the lawyer, the disks could have contained matters relating to drug transactions and procurement which could have created problems for Rhea.

In her interview, Rhea had claimed that Sushant feared air travel, but Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande posted a video in which Sushant was himself saying that his first among 50 dreams was to become a pilot.

Till now, most of the facts and disclosures that have come to light in this case point the finger of suspicion towards Rhea. The female actor has already faced questioning from ED and Mumbai Police, and yet suspicions about her role in this case remain. On Thursday, she levelled charges against Sushant’s family in her interview. Now that Rhea has levelled charges in public, she should now be prepared to face fresh counter-charges too.

In her interview, Rhea has claimed that Sushant used to take marijuana even before he met her. But all the WhatsApp messages that Rhea exchanged with her ‘gang’ clearly point otherwise. She and her associates had close links with drug peddlers, they used to regularly procure narcotics for Sushant and themselves.

Sushant’s sister Shweta has revealed that her brother faced danger from June 8, the day when Rhea left the house and sent an IT team to destroy all crucial data in the eight hard disks . Sushant had by then decided to take charge of his life. Shweta has alleged that Rhea reportedly changed the PINs of Sushant’s credit cards, and destroyed all incriminating data from his computer system. In her defence, Rhea has claimed that she was asked by Sushant to leave his house and she herself was facing problems due to Sushant’s mental health. Rhea says, she had disclosed this to Mumbai Police. It is however strange that despite all these revelations, Mumbai Police neither filed any FIR, nor did it make its investigation public.

नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो ने रिया चक्रवर्ती और उसके भाई शौविक समेत कई लोगों के खिलाफ नारकोटिक ड्रग्स एंड साइकोट्रोपिक सब्सटैंस (NDPS) ऐक्ट के तहत केस दर्ज कर लिया है। इसके साथ ही यह तय हो गया है कि अब ड्रग माफिया, ड्रग पेडलर्स और बॉलीवुड ऐक्टर्स के बीच संबंधों का पता लगाने की कोशिश की जाएगी। इसके चलते अब ऐक्टर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत के रहस्य पर से पर्दा उठाने के लिए की जा रही सीबीआई और ईडी की जांच ने भी एक बड़ा मोड़ ले लिया है। अब रिया चक्रवर्ती की गिरफ्तारी लगभग तय है।

गुरुवार को प्रवर्तन निदेशालय की तरफ से मीडिया को एक आधिकारिक पत्र उपलब्ध कराया गया जिसमें कहा गया कि ईडी ने रिया चक्रवर्ती के 2 सैलफोन ‘क्लोन’ किए और ‘डिजिटल डेटा के विश्लेषण के बाद रिया चक्रवर्ती की सैमुअल मिरांडा (सुशांत के हाउस मैनेजर), शौविक (रिया के भाई), दीपेश सावंत (सुशांत के फोटोग्राफर), जया साहा (क्वान टैलेंट मैनेजमेंट एग्जेक्यूटिव), सिमोन खंबाटा और गौरव आर्या आदि के साथ हुई तमाम बातचीत खुलासा हुआ।’

ED के पत्र में आगे कहा गया है: ‘रिया और सैमुअल के बीच हुई बातचीत के विश्लेषण से पता चलता है कि ये दोनों क्लोज कोऑर्डिनेशन में काम कर रहे थे और सुशांत सिंह राजपूत के पैसे का इस्तेमाल अपने कामों के लिए कर रहे थे। बातचीत में आगे पता चला कि रिया ने सैमुअल मिरांडा से सुशांत के डेबिट कार्ड की पिन डिटेल्स भी हासिल कर ली थीं।’

‘वॉट्सऐप पर हुई बातचीत से यह भी खुलासा हुआ है कि रिया 2017 से ही अवैध रूप से वीड (मारिजुआना/भांग), CBD इत्यादि मादक पदार्थों के इस्तेमाल और खरीद में लिप्त थी। चीजों को सही से समझने के लिए वॉट्सऐप पर हुई बातचीत को संक्षेप में यूं रखा जा सकता है: (1) रिया और सैमुअल के बीच दिनांक 17.4.2020 और 1.5.2020 को हई बातचीत शौविक से वीड की खरीद और 17,000 रुपये में वीड के 2 बैग्स की खरीद से संबंधित है। (2) रिया और जया साहा के बीच 15.11.2019 को हुई बातचीत से पता चला है कि साहा ने रिया को CBD (कैनबिडिओल, मारिजुआना का एक केमिकल कंपाउंड जो कि एक निश्चित कंसेन्ट्रेशन पर प्रतिबंधित है) डिलीवर किया, जिसे सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की कॉफी में मिलाया जाना था। (3) इसी तरह, दिनांक 07.04.2020, 27/28.04.2020, 16.3.2017 और 8.3.2017 को हुई बातचीत वीड की खरीद और इसके इस्तेमाल से जुड़ी हुई है।’

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के इस लेटर से पता चलता है कि अभी तक जिन वॉट्सऐप मैसेजेज को रिट्रीव किया गया है वे साफ इशारा करते हैं कि रिया ड्रग्स का इस्तेमाल करती थीं। बुधवार को मिले ताजा वॉट्सऐप मैसेजेज से पता चलता है कि रिया ने पेडलर्स से ड्रग्स की डिमांड की थी, इसकी कीमत तय की गई थी, डिलीवरी की जगहों को फाइनल किया गया था और ड्रग्स की डिलीवरी देने कौन आएगा, उनके नामों का खुलासा भी चैट में हुआ है। रिया ने इन सभी मैसेजेज को अपने वॉट्सऐप से डिलीट कर दिया था, लेकिन ईडी के अधिकारी उन्हें फिर से रिट्रीव करने में कामयाब रहे। और इसके बाद सुशांत की मौत के रहस्य की जांच की दिशा ही बदल गई।

अब तक सुशांत की मौत का कारण हत्या/ आत्महत्या/ या आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने को माना जा रहा था, मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के ऐंगल की जांच के लिए ईडी को बुलाया गया था, लेकिन ड्रग्स का ऐंगल सामने आने के बाद NCB को भी जांच में शामिल होना पड़ा। इससे पहले किसी को अंदाजा भी नहीं रहा होगा कि ड्रग्स का ऐंगल भी सुशांत की मौत का कारण बन सकता है।

रिया, सुशांत, श्रुति मोदी और जया साहा के बीच वॉट्सऐप पर हुई बातचीत से साफ है कि रिया ड्रग्स के चक्कर में 3 साल पहले, 2017 में ही आ गई थीं। जो लोग रिया के जरिए सुशांत के संपर्क में आए थे, वे भी ड्रग्स के मामले में कई साल से रिया के संपर्क में थे, चाहे वह श्रुति मोदी हो या फिर दीपेश सावंत। NCB अब इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि ड्रग पेडलर्स और सप्लायर्स के साथ रिया के रिश्ते किस हद तक थे। अब इस बात की पड़ताल की जा रही है कि क्या रिया ने ही सुशांत को ड्रग की लत लगाई। क्या सुशांत की मौत एक बड़ी साजिश का हिस्सा थी? इन सवालों के जवाब मिलने अभी बाकी हैं।

सुशांत की मौत के रहस्य को लेकर पूरी तस्वीर जो सोमवार तक धुंधली थी, अब ड्रग्स का ऐंगल सामने आने के साथ धीरे-धीरे साफ हो गई है। मंगलवार को अपने प्राइम टाइम शो ‘आज की बात’ में मैंने कहा था कि सुशांत की मौत के पीछे ड्रग्स का ऐंगल भी हो सकता है और अब जांच की दिशा भी उसी ओर बढ़ती दिखाई दे रही है। मंगलवार को इंडिया टीवी ने रिया, उसके सहयोगियों और ड्रग पेडलर्स के बीच हुई कुछ वॉट्सऐप चैट का खुलासा किया था। उस समय इन चैट्स से बहुत कुछ साफ नहीं हो पा रहा था, लेकिन बुधवार को हमें अपने रिपोर्टर राजीव कुमार से कुछ और वॉट्सऐप चैट्स मिले जिनसे अब तस्वीर काफी साफ नजर आ रही है।

रिया ने 1 मई 2020 को मिरांडा सुशी से बात की थी जिसमें मिरांडा ने रिया से पूछा था कि क्या वह वीड के 2 बैग्स के लिए दीपेश को 17,000 रुपये दे सकती है। चैट के दौरान मिरांडा ने कहा कि एक बैग ‘हमारे’ लिए है और दूसरा ‘उसके’ (HIM) लिए। चैट के अंत में मिरांडा ने लिखा कि वह इसे हमें ट्रांसफर कर देगा।

क्या मिरांडा सुशी और सैमुअल मिरांडा एक ही शख्स हैं, क्योंकि Truecaller इस नंबर के लिए सैमुअल मिरांडा का नाम दिखा रहा है। रिया की चैट्स में MDMA, HASH, BUDD जैसे शब्द हैं। एक चैट में जया साहा रिया से चाय में 4 बूंद डालने और 30-40 मिनट के बाद उसका असर देखने के लिए कह रही है। क्या HIM शब्द सुशांत के लिए था? एक अन्य चैट में कॉफी के साथ MBD ऑयल (भांग के फूल से निकाला गया तेल) का इस्तेमाल करने की सलाह दी गई थी।

याद करें कि 1 मई 2020 वह दिन था जब कोरोना वायरस के प्रकोप के चलते लॉकडाउन अभी भी लागू था और जीवन थम-सा गया था। ऐसे वक्त में भी रिया खुद के लिए और HIM के लिए ड्रग्स का जुगाड़ कर रही थी। इससे 2 हफ्ते पहले लॉकडाउन के दौरान ही 17 अप्रैल को रिया की मिरांडा सुशी से बातचीत हुई जिसमें मिरांडा ने कहा कि माल खत्म हो गया है, और क्या शौविक के दोस्त से हमें हैश या बड ले लेना चाहिए? इसके जवाब में रिया ने कहा- हां, हम ऐसा कर सकते हैं, लेकिन तुम्हें बताना होगा कि कितना और कैसे।

रिया और सुशांत के नौकर दीपेश सावंत के बीच 27 और 28 अप्रैल के वॉट्सऐप चैट में यह बात हो रही है कि ड्रग्स को कैसे खरीदा जाए। दीपेश वही शख्स है जो 14 जून को सुशांत की मौत के दिन उनके फ्लैट में मौजूद था और जिसने ऐक्टर की बॉडी को पंखे से बिस्तर पर उतारने में नीचे उतारने में सिद्धार्थ पिठानी की मदद की थी। इस समय सीबीआई दीपेश से पूछताछ कर रही है। एक अन्य चैट में दीपेश रिया से कह रहा है कि हमें अब ऑर्डर करना होगा क्योंकि वह डोंबिवली जा रही है, जवाब में रिया ने ‘ओके’ कहा। इसके अगले दिन दीपेश ने रिया को बताया कि 2 बैग्स का ऑर्डर किया गया है और उनकी डिलीवरी आज हो जाएगी।

25 नवंबर 2019 की एक चैट में जया साहा ने रिया से कहा कि तुम्हारे लोग बेहद क्यूट हैं और मैं सीबीडी ऑयल (हशिश) को वॉटरस्टोन भेज रही हूं। रिया ने जवाब में कहा- ब्लेस यू, ब्रॉस्की। उसी दिन शाम को 5.53 बजे जया ने रिया से वॉट्सऐप पर कहा कि ऑफिस का लड़का वॉटरस्टोन पहुंच गया है। आपको बता दें कि वाटरस्टोन एक रिजॉर्ट है जहां रिया और सुशांत ने यूरोप से लौटने के बाद कुछ वक्त बिताया था। उसी दिन जया ने रिया को चाय या कॉफी में 4 बूंद (सीबीडी ऑयल की) डालकर ‘उसे’ पिलाने की सलाह दी थी और कहा था कि 30-40 मिनट में इसका असर नजर आएगा।

इस बीच CBI ने बुधवार को बिल्डिंग के सिक्यॉरिटी गार्ड, सिद्धार्थ पिठानी और सुशांत के नौकर नीरज से पूछताछ की। पिठानी ने CBI को बताया कि 8 जून को रिया और सुशांत के बीच हुए झगड़े के बाद एक IT प्रोफेशनल को सुशांत के कंप्यूटर सिस्टम से 8 हार्ड डिस्क्स को नष्ट करने के लिए बुलाया गया था। सीबीआई ने बुधवार को कूपर अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों से भी पूछताछ की, जिन्होंने सुशांत की बॉडी की ऑटोप्सी की थी। 3 दिनों में यह तीसरी बार था जब CBI कूपर अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों से पूछताछ करने के लिए गई थी। पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट में गंभीर कमियां नजर आ रही हैं, और एम्स की फॉरेंसिक टीम ने CBI को पहले ही इस बारे में अपनी ऑब्जर्वेशन भेज दी है।

इन सभी बातों को देखकर ऐसा लगता है कि जांच कर रहे अधिकारी अभी भी सुशांत की मौत के पीछे के असल मकसद की तलाश में है। क्या सुशांत की मौत हत्या थी या किसी साजिश का नतीजा थी, और यदि ऐसा है तो इसका मकसद क्या था? उनकी मौत से किसको फायदा हुआ? सुशांत की बॉलीवुड में किसी से कोई दुश्मनी नहीं थी। उन्होंने पूरी तरह अपनी योग्यता के आधार पर फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में अपनी पहचान बनाई। यदि यह आरोप लगता है कि रिया ने उनकी मौत की साजिश रची तो यह स्वाभाविक प्रश्न उठता है: सुशांत से करीबी की वजह से रिया को ही फायदा हो रहा था। वह उन्हें क्यों मारना चाहेगी?

हालांकि ड्रग्स का ऐंगल सामने आने के बाद कुछ चीजें साफ हो रही हैं। पहली, रिया ड्रग्स का इस्तेमाल करती थी, दूसरी, वह जानती थी कि ड्रग्स को कहां से खरदीना है, और तीसरी, जब रिया और सुशांत वॉटरस्टोन रिजॉर्ट में ठहरे थे तब वहां ड्रग्स भी लाए गए थे।

तथ्यों से हुई छेड़छाड़ मुंबई पुलिस के उस लापरवाह रवैये को भी उजागर करती है जिसमें उसने जांच को 2 महीने तक चलने दिया। सवाल पूछे जा रहे हैं कि क्या मुंबई पुलिस किसी को बचाने की कोशिश कर रही है? मुंबई पुलिस ने 56 लोगों से, जिनमें बॉलीवुड के कुछ जाने-माने निर्देशक और निर्माता भी शामिल हैं, 2 महीने तक पूछताछ की, लेकिन ड्रग्स कनेक्शन को खोजने में नाकाम रहे। हममें से ज्यादातर लोग जो मुंबई से दूर बैठे हैं, उनके लिए ड्रग्स का ऐंगल चौंकाने वाला हो सकता है, लेकिन बॉलीवुड के अंदर की खबर रखने वाले जानते हैं कि यहां ड्रग्स का इस्तेमाल आम है। और फिर भी मुंबई पुलिस ने इस ऐंगल की तरफ ध्यान ही नहीं दिया। सवाल उठता है कि क्यों?

सिद्धार्थ पिठानी ने मुंबई पुलिस ऑन रिकॉर्ड बताया कि उसने सुशांत के कंप्यूटर की हार्ड डिस्क से कई तस्वीरें और टेक्स्ट डिलीट कर दिए थे। इस ऐंगल की जांच क्यों नहीं की गई? मुंबई पुलिस को भरोसा करने लायक जवाबों के साथ अपनी बात रखनी चाहिए क्योंकि एक प्रोफेशनल पुलिस फोर्स के रूप में इसकी इज्जत दांव पर लगी है।

With the Narcotics Control Bureau registering a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against several persons including Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Shouvik, the stage is now set for a big move to unearth the connections between drug mafia, their peddlers and Bollywood actors. This has brought about a major twist to the ongoing CBI and ED probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death mystery. Rhea’s arrest appears to be imminent.

On Thursday, an official letter from the Enforcement Directorate was made available to media in which it was said that ED “cloned” two cellphones of Rhea Chakraborty and ‘after analysis of digital data it revealed several conversations of Rhea Chakraborty with Samuel Miranda (Sushant’s house manager), Showik (her brother), Dipesh Sawant (Sushant’s photographer), and Jaya Saha (Kwan Talent Management executive), Simone Khambatta, Gaurav Arya, etc.’

The ED letter further said: “the analysis of conversations between Rhea and Samuel reveal that these two were working in close coordination and were using the funds of Sushant Singh Rajput for their own purpose. The conversations further revealed that Rhea had obtained details of PIN of Sushant’s debit card from Samuel Miranda.”

“The whatsapp conversation has further revealed that Rhea was indulging in usage and procurement of narcotics substance namely weed (marijuana/cannabis), CBD etc. illegally since year 2017. ..For the sake of clarity, some of the conversations may be summarised as under: (1) Conversations between Rhea and Samuel dated 17.4.2020 and 1.5.2020 pertain to procurement of weed from Showik and procurement of two bags of weed for Rs 17,000. (2) Conversations between Rhea and Jaya Saha dated 15.11.2019 have revealed that Ms. Saha delivered CBD (cannabidiol, a chemical compound of marijuana which is banned over certain concentration) to Rhea, which was to be mixed in the coffee of SSR (Sushant) (3) Similarly, conversations dated 07.04.2020, 27/28.04.2020, 16.3.2017 and 8.3.2017 pertain to procurement and use of weed.”

The ED letter clearly reveals that the WhatsApp messages retrieved till now clearly indicate that Rhea used to procure drugs. Fresh WhatsApp messages retrieved on Wednesday indicate that drugs were sought by Rhea from peddlers, prices were decided, places of delivery were finalized, and the names of those who would deliver the drugs were revealed during chats.

Rhea had deleted all these messages on her WhatsApp, but ED sleuths managed to retrieve them all. And what followed has changed the entire course of the investigation into Sushant’s death mystery.

Till now, the cause of Sushant’s death was being speculated as murder/suicide/abetment to suicide, the ED had been called to probe the money laundering angle, but out tumbled the drugs angle, and the NCB had to enter the scene. Nobody had then even remotely suggested that the drugs angle could have led to Sushant’s death.

WhatsApp messages between Rhea, Sushant, Shruti Modi and Jaya Saha clearly reveal that Rhea was into drugs three years back, since 2017 to be precise. People who came in touch with Sushant through Rhea for providing drugs were all part of her inner circle, whether Shruti Modi or Dipesh Sawant. NCB is now probing how far Rhea’s connections with drug peddlers and suppliers had spread. The sleuths are now going to probe whether it was Rhea who introduced Sushant to the world of drug abuse. Was Sushant’s death a part of a bigger conspiracy? The jury is still out.

The overall picture about Sushant’s death mystery that was hazy till Monday, has now cleared up with the drugs angle appearing to be a vital one. In our prime time show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’ on Tuesday, I had clearly said that the drugs angle could have been the cause behind Sushant’s death, and the direction of the probe appears to be headed towards the same direction.

On Tuesday, India TV had revealed some of the WhatsApp chats between Rhea, her associates and drug peddlers. These appeared to be sketchy and somewhat disjointed, but on Wednesday, we got more WhatsApp messages from our reporter Rajiv Kumar, and the picture now seems to be clearer.

On May 1, 2020, Rhea had a chat with Miranda Sushi, where the latter asked her whether she was willing to pay Dipesh Rs 17,000 for two bags of ‘weed’. Miranda said during the chat, one bag is for ‘us’, and the other bag is for ‘HIM’. Towards the end of the chat, Miranda write, HE WILL TRANSFER IT TO US.

Is Miranda Sushi the same person named Samuel Miranda, because Truecaller is showing the name Samuel Miranda for this number. There are words like MDMA, HASH, BUDD in Rhea’s chats. In one chat, Jaya Saha is shown telling Rhea to give HIM four drops in tea to sip and see the effect after 30-40 minutes. Was the word HIM meant for Sushant? In another chat, MBD oil (oil extracted from bhang flower) was suggested to be used with coffee.

Remember, May 1, 2020 was the day when lockdown due to COVID was still in force and life had come to a standstill. And yet, Rhea was arranging drugs for herself and for HIM. Two weeks prior to that, on April 17, during lockdown period, Rhea was chatting with Miranda Sushi, in which one was saying that the stuff is no more, and whether we should take the HASH or BUDD from Shovik’s friend? To this, Rhea replies, Yes, we can do that, but you must tell how much and how.

There are WhatsApp chats between Rhea and Sushant’s servant Dipesh Sawant about how to procure drugs on April 27 and 28. Dipesh is the man, who was present in Sushant’s flat on the fateful day, June 14, and helped Siddharth Pithani to lower the body from the ceiling fan to the bed. Dipesh is presently under interrogation of CBI. In one of the chats, Dipesh is telling Rhea that we have to order now because she is going to Dombivali, Rhea replies ‘Okay’, and on the next day, Dipesh tells Rhea, two bags have been ordered and they will be delivered today.

A chat dated November 25, 2019 reveals Jaya Saha telling Rhea that your people are very cute and I am sending CBD Oil (hashish) to Waterstone. Rhea replies: Bless you, Brosky. The same day at 5.53 pm, Jaya tells Rhea on WhatsApp, the office boy has reached Waterstone. Questions are being asked as to whether Mumbai Police was trying to shield somebody. Mumbai Police questioned 56 persons, some of them eminent directors and producers of Bollywood, for two months but failed to find the drug connection. For most of us sitting away from Mumbai, the drugs angle could be shocking, but insiders in Bollywood know that drugs abuse is common in the industry. And yet, Mumbai Police shut its eye towards this angle. The question is why?

Siddharth Pithani is on record having told Mumbai Police that he had deleted several pictures and texts from the hard disk of Sushant’s computer. Why was this angle not probed? Mumbai Police must come out with credible answers because its reputation as a professional police force has gone for a toss.

नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो के प्रमुख राकेश अस्थाना के ऐक्टर सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की रहस्यमय मौत के मामले में ड्रग्स कनेक्शन की जांच के फैसले ने अब एक नया मोड़ ला दिया है। एनसीबी इस काम के लिए गठित एक स्पेशल यूनिट को जांच सौंपने जा रही है। यह फैसला इस सनसनीखेज जानकारी के सामने आने के बाद लिया गया कि रिया चक्रवर्ती ने 2017 से 2020 के बीच संदिग्ध ड्रग डीलर्स गौरव और टैलेंट मैनेजर जया साहा के साथ हुई अपनी वॉट्सऐप चैट को डिलीट कर दिया था। ईडी रिया के सेलफोन से डिलीट किए गए कई चैट्स को फिर से हासिल करने में कामयाब रही और उन्हें सुशांत की मौत के मामले में ड्रग्स के ऐंगल की जांच के लिए नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो को आगे भेजा दिया।

इंडिया टीवी के पास रिया के वॉट्सऐप से डिलीट किए गए ऐसे 8 चैट्स हैं, जिनमें साफ ड्रग कनेक्शन लगता है। 8 मार्च 2017 को पहली चैट में रिया ने ड्रग डीलर गौरव से कहा कि यदि आप हार्ड ड्रग्स के बारे में बात कर रहे हैं, तो मैं उन्हें ज्यादा नहीं लेती, लेकिन मैंने एक बार एमडीएमए (मेथिलीन डाइऑक्सी मेथ एम्फेटामाइन) लिया है। एमडीएमए ड्रग्स को पश्चिमी देशों में बतौर एक्स्टेसी, मैंडी या मॉली बेचा जाता है। हालांकि रिया के वकील ने ड्रग्स कनेक्शन की बात को सख्ती से नकार दिया है। डिलीट किए गए कुछ चैट्स के मुताबिक, 17 अप्रैल 2020 को रिया ने ‘मिरांडा सुशी’ के नाम से सेव किए गए कॉन्टैक्ट से बात की, जिसने कहा, ‘हाय रिया, सामान लगभग खत्म हो गया है। क्या हमें इसे शौविक (रिया के भाई) के दोस्त से लेना चाहिए? लेकिन उसके पास सिर्फ हैश और बड है।’ गौरव के साथ हुई एक अन्य चैट में उसने पूछा था, ‘तुम्हारे पास एमडी है?’

25 नवंबर 2019 को जया साहा के साथ एक और चैट हुई, जिसमें जया ने लिखा है कि मैंने उसे श्रुति के साथ कोऑर्डिनेट करने के लिए कहा है, जिसके जवाब में रिया ने कहा, थैंक यू सो मच। उसी दिन रिया के साथ एक अन्य चैट में जया साहा ने लिखा- कोई दिक्कत नहीं है, दोस्त, चलो उम्मीद करते हैं कि इससे मदद मिलेगी। चौथी चैट में जया ने रिया को लिखा, ‘चाय में 4 बूंद डालो, उसे 30 से 40 मिनट का समय दें, यह किक करेगा (अपना असर दिखाएगा)। 17 अप्रैल, 2020 को एक अन्य वॉट्सऐप चैट में मिरांडा सुशी ने रिया से कहा, ‘हाय, हमने सारा माल खत्म कर दिया है। क्या हमें शौविक के दोस्त से लेना चाहिए, उसके पास सिर्फ हैश और बड है।’ ईडी के पास कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड्स भी हैं जिनके मुताबिक 14 जून को, जिस दिन सुशांत की मौत हुई, रिया ने साहा से कई बार बात की। पहला फोन दोपहर 2.37 पर, रिया को सुशांत की मौत के बारे में पता चलने के 4 मिनट बाद किया गया था। कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड्स के मुताबिक रिया ने अगले दिन भी जया को फोन किया था।

इस चौंकाने वाली जानकारी के सामने आने के बाद प्रवर्तन निदेशालय, जिसने इस मामले में मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के ऐंगल की जांच की थी, ने NCB को नारकोटिक्स कनेक्शन के बारे में सूचित किया। अब सवाल उठ रहे हैं कि क्या अपार्टमेंट में हफ्ते में 2 बार होने वाली पार्टियों में एमडीएमए और मारिजुआना का इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। ऐसे भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं कि क्या रिया, सुशांत और उनके दोस्त ड्रग्स के आदी थे। सुशांत के फ्लैट के एक नौकर ने जांचकर्ताओं को बताया कि पार्टियों में मारिजुआना का इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। सुशांत के नौकर नीरज ने मुंबई पुलिस को बताया था कि उसने 11 जून को मारिजुआना से भरी हुई सिगरेट्स एक स्पेशल बॉक्स से निकालकर मेहमानों को दी थी। 14 जून को, सुशांत की मौत के बाद यह बॉक्स खाली पाया गया था।

और अब बात करते हैं ऐक्टर की मौत के मामले में चल रही सीबीआई जांच के बारे में। मंगलवार रात अपने प्राइम टाइम शो ‘आज की बात’ में हमने दिखाया कि सुशांत के मैनेजर सिद्धार्थ पिठानी ने सीबीआई को पूरे मामले के बारे में क्या-क्या जानकारी दी। उसके बयान कुछ हद तक विरोधाभासी लग रहे हैं। उसके बयान और भी ज्यादा कंफ्यूजन पैदा कर रहे हैं। पिठानी सुशांत की मौत के दिन अपार्टमेंट में मौजूद 4 लोगों में, जिनमें नौकर भी शामिल हैं, सबसे सीनियर है। सीबीआई ने उससे 11 घंटे से ज्यादा देर तक पूछताछ की, और इस दौरान उसने कई विरोधाभासी बयान दिए। पिठानी ने बताया कि 14 जून को, जिस दिन सुशांत की मौत हुई, वह सुबह 10 से 10.30 बजे के बीच अपने कमरे में आया और अपने कंप्यूटर पर काम करने लगा। बाद में कुक केशव वहां पहुंचा और उसने कहा कि सुशांत अपने बेडरूम का दरवाजा नहीं खोल रहे हैं।

पिठानी के मुताबिक, सुशांत की बहन मीतू ने उसे यह बताने के लिए फोन किया कि वह उनकी कॉल का जवाब नहीं दे रहे हैं। पिठानी का कहना है कि उन्होंने मीतू को आने के लिए कहा, और एक अन्य नौकर दीपेश को वॉचमैन के पास एक ताले वाले को बुलाने के लिए भेजा। पिठानी ने बताया कि वॉचमैन ने मदद नहीं की जिसके बाद उसने Google पर पास के ताले वालों की तलाश की और वहां उसे रफीक नाम का ताले वाला मिल गया। उसने दिन में 1.06 बजे रफीक को फोन किया, जिसने डुप्लिकेट चाभी से ताला लॉक खोलने के लिए 2,000 रुपये मांगे। सिद्धार्थ ने रफीक को दरवाजे के ताले की तस्वीर और सुशांत के घर का पता वॉट्सऐप पर भेज दिया। पिठानी का कहना है कि उसने मीतू को भी इसकी जानकारी दी थी। दोपहर 1.20 बजे ताला खोलने वाला एक हेल्पर के साथ आया और ताले को देखने के बाद उसने कहा कि ताला तोड़ना होगा। कुछ ही मिनटों में उसने ताला तोड़ा, 2000 रुपये लिए और अपने हेल्पर के साथ चला गया।

पिठानी के मुताबिक, वह और दीपक जब कमरे में घुसे तो वहां अधेरा था। पिठानी ने कहा कि दीपेश ने लाइट ऑन की और उसने सुशांत को सीलिंग फैन से लटका हुआ पाया। सुशांत के गले के चारों तरफ हरे रंग का कपड़ा कसा हुआ था। उसने कहा कि सुशांत के पैर बिस्तर के पास ढीले होकर लटक रहे थे। दोनों ही यह दृश्य देखकर स्तब्ध रह गए, इसके बाद पिठानी ने मीतू को फोन करके घटना के बारे में बताया, और उन्हें जल्दी से आने के लिए कहा। पिठानी ने 108 पर पुलिस को फोन करके मदद मांगी।

अब सवाल यह उठता है कि पिठानी ने सीलिंग फैन से शव को क्यों उतारा और पुलिस या मीतू, किसी के भी आने से पहले उसे बिस्तर पर लिटा दिया? पिठानी ने सीबीआई से कहा कि सुशांत की दूसरी बहन नीतू सिंह का भी चंडीगढ़ से फोन आया था, और उसने उन्हें भी घटना के बारे में जानकारी दी। पिठानी ने कहा कि नीतू के पति ओ.पी.सिंह, जो कि एक वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी हैं, ने फोन पर उससे कहा कि बॉडी को सीलिंग से नीचे उतारे और सुशांत को रिवाइव करने की कोशिश करे। पिठानी ने कहा कि नीतू ने भी उससे शव को नीचे उतारने के लिए कहा था। पिठानी ने नीरज से रसोई में इस्तेमाल होने वाला चाकू लाने को कहा, और उसकी मदद से उनसे हरे कपड़े को काट दिया और बॉडी को सीलिंग से नीचे उतार दिया।

पिठानी के मुताबिक, ऐक्टर की बहन मीतू बिस्तर पर बॉडी रखने के तुरंत बाद ही वहां पहुंच गईं। उन्होंने पूछा कि क्या सुशांत जिंदा हैं। उन्होंने उनसे बिस्तर पर शरीर को सीधा करने के लिए कहा। पिठानी ने बताया कि उसने, दीपेश ने और नीरज ने बॉडी को बिस्तर पर सीधा किया, गले में बंधे हरे कपड़े को ढीला किया और सुशांत को सीपीआर देने की कोशिश की। सुशांत की तरफ से ऐसा कोई रिस्पॉन्स नहीं आया जिससे लगे कि वह जिंदा हैं। पिठानी ने कहा कि तब तक बांद्रा पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंच गई। सिद्धार्थ पिठानी ने सीबीआई को इस बारे में बताया था कि कैसे रिया और सुशांत की बहन अक्सर झगड़ा करती थीं, कैसे सुशांत उससे ऐक्टिंग छोड़ने और जैविक खेती पर काम करने के बारे में बात किया करते थे, कैसे जब सुशांत की बहन उनसे मिलने आई थीं तो वह रोए थे और कैसे सुशांत अपनी पूर्व मैनेजर दिशा सालियान की मौत के बारे में सुनकर बेहद परेशान थे।
