क्या केजरीवाल की रिहाई कांग्रेस का सिरदर्द बनेगी?
दिल्ली, हरियाणा और पंजाब की राजनीति में एक नया तूफान आया. करीब 177 दिन बाद दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल तिहाड़ जेल से बाहर आ गए. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उन्हें जमानत दे दी. जेल से बाहर आकर केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं सही था इसलिए भगवान ने मेरा साथ दिया, जेल की सलाखें..मेरे हौसले को कमजोर नहीं कर पाईं, मेरा हौसला सौ गुना बढ़ गया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जमानत देते वक्त कड़ी शर्तें रखी है. केजरीवाल से कहा है कि वो शराब घोटाले से जुड़े केस के बारे में कोई बात नहीं करेंगे. मुख्यमंत्री के दफ्तर में नहीं जा सकेंगे, किसी सरकारी फाइल पर दस्तखत नहीं कर पाएंगे. अब असली लड़ाई राजनीतिक है. कोर्ट में जो लड़ाई होनी थी वो हो गई. अब केस लंबा चलेगा लेकिन केजरीवाल की रिहाई से राजनीति के मैदान में एक नई जंग की शुरुआत होगी. अब लड़ाई perception की है, narrative क्रिएट करने की है. केजरीवाल का दावा है कि उनपर लगाए गए शराब घोटाले के आरोप झूठे हैं, केस फर्जी हैं, इसीलिए उन्हें कोर्ट से जमानत मिली. बीजेपी याद दिलाएगी कि जमानत मिलने का मतलब ये नहीं कि कोर्ट ने उन्हें क्लीन चिट दे दी है . .बीजेपी के नेताओं ने कहा कि कोर्ट ने भी माना है कि CBI की गिरफ्तारी वैध थी. केजरीवाल के साथी कह रहे हैं बीजेपी ने केजरीवाल को परेशान करने के लिए ED और CBI का बेजा इस्तेमाल किया लेकिन कोर्ट ने बीजेपी के मंसूबे नाकाम कर दिए. इस पूरे केस में एक और पॉलिटिकल ट्विस्ट भी है. सारी विपक्षी पार्टियों ने केजरीवाल के जेल से बाहर आने पर बीजेपी को कोसा, खुशी भी जाहिर की लेकिन कांग्रेस खामोश रही. वजह है हरियाणा का चुनाव. कांग्रेस को डर है कि अगर हरियाणा में केजरीवाल दम लगाएंगे तो उनका वोट काट सकते हैं और ये डर भूपेन्द्र सिंह हुड्डा के भाषणों में भी दिखाई दे रहा है जिसमें वो जनता से अपील करते नजर आ रहे हैं कि हरियाणा में मुकाबला सिर्फ बीजेपी और कांग्रेस के बीच हैं, इसलिए जनता किसी वोटकटवा को अपना वोट ना दे. जब केजरीवाल हरियाणा में कैंपेन के लिए जाएंगे तो उन्हें कांग्रेस को आड़े हाथों लेना पड़ेगा और ये आगे की राजनीति के लिए कांग्रेस की परेशानी बढ़ाएगा. क्योंकि दिल्ली हो या पंजाब केजरीवाल कांग्रेस को हराकर ही सत्ता में आए.
Is Kejriwal’s release a worry for Congress?
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came out of Tihar jail on Friday after 177 days. The Supreme Court granted him bail on conditions that he would not attend his office and sign any official file, nor shall he contact witnesses or speak about the liquor policy case in public. Coming out of prison, Kejriwal told cheering AAP supporters, “it is God which gave me strength and my resolve never weakened. Instead, my resolve multiplied 100 times.” The actual battle is going to be fought in the Haryana assembly elections. The court battles are over for the moment, but the case will linger on. Kejriwal’s release from jail will start a new battle on the political front. The fight is about perception, about creating a narrative. Kejriwal claims that allegations of bribery made against him and his party in the Delhi liquor excise scam are false and the entire case is fake. This is the reason, he says, why he got bail from the highest court. BJP is going to tell the people that getting bail does not mean he has been acquitted and has been given a clean chit. BJP leaders point out to the SC verdict in which it has been said that his arrest by CBI was legally valid. AAP leaders allege, BJP misused ED and CBI to harass Kejriwal, but their plan has been foiled by the apex court. BJP leaders remind of the conditions under which Kejriwal cannot function as a Chief Minister. He cannot go to his office or sign official files. There is a political twist to this case. While opposition parties expressed happiness over Kejriwal’s release from jail, Congress maintained silence. The reason: Haryana assembly elections, where talks of alliance between Congress and AAP failed over seat distribution. Congress leaders fear that if Kejriwal goes all out to garner votes for AAP in Haryana, its vote base may be hit. The fear is reflected in Congress stalwart Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s speeches, where he is telling Haryana voters that the battle is only between BJP and Congress, and people should not squander their votes by supporting any third party. In his Haryana campaign, Kejriwal is naturally going to take Congress to task, and this can cause problems for the party in the near future too. One must understand that AAP came to power in Delhi and Punjab by dislodging Congress.
आधे सच के ठेकेदार : बहुत नाइंसाफ़ी है ये !
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस के बारे में प्रतिपक्ष के कुछ नेताओं ने जो टिप्पणियां की हैं, वे वाकई चितंजनक है। सोमवार शाम को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी चीफ जस्टिस डी. वाई. चंद्रचूड़ के घर गणपति की पूजा करने क्या चले गए, कई लोगों की नींद उड़ गई, उन्हें मिर्ची लग गई। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने चीफ जस्टिस चंद्रचूड़ के यहां सिद्धिविनायक के दर्शन किए। 30 सेकेंड के वीडियो पर कैसे 30 घंटे सियासत हुई, लोगों ने राई का पहाड़ बना दिया, ये हैरान करने वाली बात है। कई नेताओं ने तो चीफ जस्टिस की ईमानदारी पर सवाल उठा दिए। जो एक सामान्य-सा शिष्टाचार था, पूजा-पाठ था, उसे न्यायपालिका की आज़ादी से जोड़ दिया। उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना को इस बात से समस्य़ा है कि उनका केस सुप्रीम कोर्ट में है, अब उन्हें न्याय कैसे मिलेगा? क्या वो ये कहना चाहते हैं कि चीफ जस्टिस के घर गणपति पूजा में प्रधानमंत्री के शामिल होने से मुख्य न्यायाधीश रातों रात पक्षपाती हो गए? पूजा की थाली क्या घुमाई, न्यायपालिका संदेह के दायरे में आ गई? ये तो कमाल की बात है।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष कपिल सिब्बल राजनीति में हैं। उन्होंने इस मामले को सियासी मोड़ दे दिया। कहा, चीफ जस्टिस का पीएम को बुलाना तो ठीक है, उन्हें चीफ जस्टिस की ईमानदारी पर पूरा भरोसा है लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री ने वीडियो को सार्वजनिक क्यों किया? क्या प्रधानमंत्री ने पहली बार कोई वीडियो पोस्ट किया है? जब कांग्रेस के नेता बोले तो बीजेपी ने उन्हें याद दिलाया डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह के समय पीएम हाउस में इफ्तार पार्टी होती थी तो चीफ जस्टिस उस में जाते थे, तब किसी के पेट में दर्द क्यों नहीं हुआ? इस मामले में प्रशांत भूषण और इंदिरा जय सिंह जैसे वकील भी बोले। इन्हें बार काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया के अध्यक्ष मनन मिश्रा ने करारा जवाब दिया। मनन मिश्रा ने कहा कुछ गिने-चुने वकील हैं जो हर बात का बतंगड़ बनाते हैं।
लेकिन ये सारा मामला इतना साधारण नहीं है जितना दिखाई देता है। भारत के चीफ जस्टिस को घेरने की ये साजिश बहुत सोच समझकर की गई है, पूरी योजना के साथ की गई है। इस तरह की बयानबाजी करने वाले अच्छी तरह जानते हैं कि न तो चीफ जस्टिस का पीएम को बुलाना गलत है और न पीएम का उनके घर जाकर गणपति पूजा करना गलत है, पर जानबूझकर इसे मुद्दा बनाया गया। ये वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर ट्रेंड करने लगा। चीफ जस्टिस के घर पूजा में प्रधानमंत्री के शामिल होने को संविधान और न्यायपालिका की आज़ादी के लिए खतरा बताया गया, इंसाफ़ की उम्मीद लगाए बैठे लोगों का दिल तोड़ने वाला कहा गया। वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया पर घुमा-घुमाकर ये साबित करने की कोशिश की गई कि जैसे चीफ जस्टिस ने प्रधानमंत्री को अपने घर बुलाकर कोई बड़ा भारी अपराध कर दिया हो, जजों की आचार संहिता को तोड़ा हो।
सबसे पहले उद्धव ठाकरे की शिव सेना के नेता संजय राउत ने कहा कि अब उन्हें जस्टिस चन्द्रचूड़ से न्याय की उम्मीद नहीं है, चीफ जस्टिस को शिवसेना के मुक़दमे से ख़ुद को हट जाना चाहिए, अब अगर पीएम चीफ जस्टिस के घर जाकर पूजा कर रहे हैं, तो चीफ जस्टिस से निष्पक्ष फ़ैसले की उम्मीद कैसे की जा सकती है? सहयोगी पार्टी कांग्रेस के नेता विजय वडेट्टिवार ने कहा कि न्यायपालिका को कार्यपालिका से दूरी बनाकर रखनी चाहिए, न चीफ जस्टिस को प्रधानमंत्री को बुलाना चाहिए और न प्रधानमंत्री को चीफ जस्टिस के घर जाना चाहिए, जो हुआ, वो गलत था। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के कुछ वकीलों ने भी इसे मुद्दा बनाया। इंदिरा जय सिंह ने ट्विटर पर लिखा कि चीफ जस्टिस ने न्यायपालिका और कार्यपालिका के बीच की संवैधानिक दूरी का उल्लंघन किया है।
सीनियर एडवोकेट प्रशांत भूषण ने कहा कि चीफ जस्टिस ने अपने घर की पूजा में प्रधानमंत्री को बुलाकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट की प्रतिष्ठा को ठेस पहुंचाई है क्योंकि संविधान में साफ़ लिखा है कि न्यायपालिका को कार्यपालिका से दूरी बनाकर रखनी चाहिए। इन आरोपों का जवाब बार काउंसिल के अध्यक्ष मनन मिश्रा ने दिया। मनन मिश्रा ने कहा कि कुछ वकील हैं, जो इस मामूली बात को तिल का ताड़ बना रहे हैं, संविधान में ऐसा कहीं नहीं लिखा कि चीफ जस्टिस के निजी कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री नहीं जा सकते। जिन लोगों ने चीफ जस्टिस के घर प्रधानमंत्री की गणेश पूजा को लेकर सवाल उठाए हैं, उन्होंने जस्टिस चंद्रचूड़ के साथ बहुत नाइंसाफी की है। जो लोग ये इल्ज़ाम लगा रहे हैं कि गणेश पूजन के बहाने मोदी ने चीफ जस्टिस के साथ setting कर ली, उनके कान में कोई मंत्र फूंक दिया, क्या ये लोग ये नहीं जानते कि अगर प्रधानमंत्री को चीफ जस्टिस से बात करनी हो, तो उन्हें पूजा का मौका ढूंढने की जरूरत नहीं है? ऐसे तमाम अवसर होते हैं, जब प्रधानमंत्री और चीफ जस्टिस एक साथ होते हैं।
ये कहना बेमानी है कि प्रधानमंत्री ने वीडियो क्यों जारी किया? अगर मोदी वीडियो जारी न करते तो यही लोग कहते कि मोदी की CJI से सीक्रेट मीटिंग हुई। यही लोग कहते कि जब मोदी हर जगह का वीडियो पोस्ट करते हैं तो पूजा का क्यों नहीं किया? क्या CJI का PM को पूजा के लिए बुलाना गैरकानूनी है? क्या ये संविधान के खिलाफ है? क्या ये कोई आधी रात को हुई कोई secret meeting थी जिसको लेकर इतना बड़ा बवाल खड़ा किया गया? जो लोग इस साधारण से शिष्टाचार को मुद्दा बना रहे हैं उनका असली मकसद चीफ जस्टिस पर दबाव बनाना है। ये लोग जानते हैं चीफ जस्टिस ऐसे मुद्दे पर बयान नहीं देंगे क्योंकि पद की अपनी मर्यादा है। प्रधानमंत्री इस पर कुछ नहीं कहेंगे क्योंकि उनकी भी सीमाएं हैं। इसीलिए बयानबाज़ी करने वालों ने जम कर फायदा उठाया। इनका इतिहास उठाकर देखिए, ये लोग हर चीफ जस्टिस के साथ यही करते आए हैं। ये वही लोग हैं जो चुनाव के नतीजे आने से पहले मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त को बिका हुआ कहते थे, EVM की विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल उठाते थे। ये वही लोग हैं जिन्होंने सेना की विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल उठाए थे। ये वही लोग हैं जो बार बार मीडिया को बदनाम करने की कोशिश करते हैं। ये लोग ईमानदारी के ठेकेदार बन कर हर किसी पर कीचड़ उछालते हैं, सब को डराने की कोशिश करते हैं। अब इनकी बातों की उपेक्षा करने की बजाय उन्हें करारा जवाब देने की ज़रूरत है।
Self-appointed agents of integrity should be challenged!
The unnecessary controversy raised by some opposition parties over Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the Ganapati Puja at the residence of Chief Justice of India Y. V. Chandrachud is worrisome. More than 30 hours of political sabre-rattling took place over a merely 30-second video and a mountain was sought to be made out of a molehill. It is surprising that some opposition leaders have questioned the neutrality and integrity of the Chief Justice of India. A courtesy visit of the PM to the Chief Justice’s residence was sought to be made a topic of controversy and the question of judicial independence was raised. The first party to raise the flag was Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, because its case is pending in Supreme Court. Is a mere courtesy visit of the PM going to make our Chief Justice biased? Kapil Sibal, himself a politician and also the president of Supreme Court Bar Association, first praised the CJI describing him as “a man of great personal integrity”, but in the same breath, he remarked that “no public functionary should publicize a private event…if there is a gossip around it, it is not fair to the institution.” BJP leaders reminded how when Dr Manmohan Singh was Prime Minister, the then CJI used to visit the PM’s iftar parties. Bar Council of India chairman and BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra said, there are some lawyers who always try to create controversies out of nothing. Let me make one thing clear. All those who have questioned the Prime Minister’s visit to the Chief Justice’s residence to attend the Ganapati Puja, are doing great injustice to Chief Justice Chandrachud. Those slyly alleging that PM Narendra Modi has done some “setting” with the CJI, or has told him something secret, probably do not know that the Prime Minister need not wait for an opportunity to attend a Puja in order to speak to the CJI. There are several such opportunities when the PM and Chief Justice attend public functions together. On the question, why the Prime Minister made the video public, I can only say that had the PM not made the video public, there would have been a hue and cry about a secret meeting with the CJI. The same persons would have then asked why the PM did not make any video public, when he makes every video of his interaction public. Is it Constitutionally or legally unacceptable for the Chief Justice of India to invite the Prime Minister to his residence? Was it a midnight secret rendezvous over which much hue and cry is being made. Those trying to create an issue over this courtesy visit are actually trying to exert pressure on the Chief Justice. These people know that the Chief Justice will not comment on this issue because he has to uphold the dignity of his chair. The Prime Minister is not going to react because he has his limitations. On the other hand, these people had a field day on social media. But look at their history. Almost every Chief Justice used to do this. These are the people who used to label the Chief Election Commissioner as pliable, and question the reliability of EVMs, even before the LS election results were announced. The same people had questioned the claims of our Armed Forces. These are the people who repeatedly try to discredit the media. These are the persons who portray themselves as self-appointed agents of integrity and try to defame and intimidate others. Time has come to give such people a strong reply instead of ignoring them.
खालिस्तानी पन्नू की राहुल की तारीफ पर कांग्रेस चुप क्यों ?
राहुल गांधी ने वॉशिंगटन डीसी में सिखों के बारे में जो कहा, उससे देश भर में सिख समाज में नाराज़गी है, लेकिन अचरज की बात ये है कि राहुल गांधी की खालिस्तानी आतंकवादी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू ने तारीफ कर दी. राहुल गांधी ने कहा था कि वो अल्पसंख्यकों को उनका हक़ दिलाने और उनको बैखौफ होकर जीने की आजादी दिलाने के लिए लड़ रहे हैं, उनकी लड़ाई इस बात की है कि भारत में सिखों को पगड़ी बांधने में डर न लगे, कड़ा पहनने से कोई न रोके, वे गुरुद्वारों में बेखौफ होकर जा सकें. इसके बाद खालिस्तानी आतंकवादी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू ने राहुल गांधी के बयान को बिल्कुल सही बताया. जो बात राहुल गांधी कह रहे हैं, वो बात पन्नू भी मानता है. राहुल और उसकी लाइन एक है. पन्नू ने एक बयान जारी करके कहा कि राहुल गांधी ने सिखों के बारे में जो कुछ बोला, उसमें खालिस्तान समर्थक संगठन ‘सिख फॉर जस्टिस’ की बात का समर्थन है. सिख फॉर जस्टिस संगठन की यही मांग है कि अलग खालिस्तान देश बनाया जाए, राहुल गांधी का बयान उसकी इस मांग को न्यायोचित ठहराता है. पन्नू ने ये भी कहा कि राहुल गांधी ने जो बयान दिया है, वो इस बात का सबूत है कि भारत में सिखों पर अत्याचार हो रहे है. राहुल गांधी ने सिखों के बारे में जो बयान दिया, तकरीबन वही बात वॉशिंगटन के नेशनल प्रेस क्लब में कही. यहां राहुल ने बिल्कुल वही बात तो नहीं दोहराई, लेकिन दूसरे शब्दों में फिर कहा कि भारत में सभी धर्म के लोगों को, अल्पसंख्यकों को, हर तरह की आज़ादी मिलनी चाहिए, अधिकार मिलने चाहिए, इसी को लेकर बीजेपी और RSS से उनके मतभेद हैं और वह इसी की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं. गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू अमेरिका में बैठकर भारत के खिलाफ साजिशें रचता है. उसने ब्रिटेन में भारतीय दूतावास पर हमला करवाया, कनाडा में भारतीयों पर हमले करवाए. पन्नू भारत के टुकड़े-टुकड़े करने का सपना देखता है, पूरी दुनिया में सिखों को बदनाम करता है और राहुल गांधी अमेरिका में जाकर वही बात कहते हैं, जो खालिस्तानी आतंकवादी पन्नू को रास आती है. इसीलिए जैसे ही पन्नू का बयान आया, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह से लेकर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ समेत बीजेपी के तमाम नेताओं ने राहुल गांधी को घेरा. अमित शाह ने कहा कि देश विरोधी बातें करना और देश को तोड़ने वाली ताकतों के साथ खड़े होना, राहुल गांधी और कांग्रेस पार्टी की फितरत बन गई है. राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि सिखों को लेकर राहुल ने जो बातें कहीं, वो सरासर झूठ, बेबुनियाद है. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि राहुल भारत-विरोधी अलगाववादी समूह के नेता बनने की तरफ बढ़ रहे हैं, वह राष्ट्रीय एकता को छिन्न-भिन्न करके देश को गृह युद्ध की तरफ धकेलना चाहते हैं. दिल्ली में सिखों ने सोनिया गांधी के घर के बाहर प्रदर्शन किया, और मांग की कि राहुल सिखों के बारे में झूठी बातें कहने के लिए माफी मांगें. प्रदर्शनकारी सिखों ने पूछा कि राहुल ने देश में कहां देखा कि सिखों को पगड़ी पहनने से रोका गया गया है? कौन से गुरूद्वारे में सिख डर कर जाते हैं? सिखों को कड़ा पहनने से किसने रोका? सिख समाज के लोगों ने कहा कि जब कांग्रेस की सरकार थी तब इटली में सिखों को पगड़ी पहनने पर पाबंदी थी. राहुल गांधी की UPA सरकार उसे नहीं हटवा पाई, वो पाबंदी 2014 के बाद हटी, इसलिए बेहतर होगा राहुल अपनी पार्टी का इतिहास देखें और सिखों को बदनाम न करें. बड़ी बात ये है कि राहुल गांधी की बात को उस सिख नौजवान भलिंदर सिंह ने भी गलत बताया जिसका नाम पूछ कर वॉशिंगटन में राहुल ने भारत में सिखों की स्थिति के बारे में गलतबयानी की थी. भलिंदर सिंह विरमानी ने खुद सोशल मीडिया पर अपना वीडियो पोस्ट करते हुए कहा कि राहुल गांधी ने कल उनका नाम पूछकर सिखों को लेकर जो कमेंट किया, वो पूरी तरह गलत था. भलिंदर सिंह ने कहा कि वो खुद भारतीय हैं, कुछ दिनों के लिए अमेरिका आए हैं, उन्होंने भारत में कभी नहीं देखा कि किसी सिख को पगड़ी पहनने या कड़ा पहनने से रोका गया हो या किसी को गुरुद्वारे जाने में कोई दिक्कत हुई हो. वॉशिंगटन डीसी में राहुल गांधी ने दुनिया भर में भारत-विरोधी प्रचार करने वाली अमेरिकी सांसद इल्हान उमर से मुलाकात की. राहुल गांधी अमेरिकी सांसदों के जिस प्रतिनिधिमंडल से मिले, उसमें इल्हान उमर को खासतौर पर बुलाया गया था. इल्हान उमर डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी की नेता हैं, वो खुले तौर पर पाकिस्तान की हिमायती हैं, हर मंच पर भारत का विरोध करती हैं. इल्हान उमर वही हैं, जिन्होंने 2022 में पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर में जाकर कहा था कि कश्मीर पर भारत का कोई हक़ नहीं है, भारत को कश्मीर छोड़ना ही पड़ेगा. जब नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार ने 2019 में अनुच्छेद 370 हटाया, तो इल्हान उमर ने कहा था कि मोदी सरकार ने 370 को खत्म करके गैरकानूनी काम किया है, पूरी दुनिया को इसका विरोध करना चाहिए. ये वही इल्हान उमर है जिन्होंने ये कहकर अमेरिकी संसद में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के संबोधन का बायकॉट किय़ा था कि मोदी सरकार भारत में मुसलमानों पर जुल्म ढा रही है. जून 2023 में इल्हान उमर अमेरिका की संसद में भारत के खिलाफ एक प्रस्ताव लेकर आई थीं जिसमें अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्रालय से अपील की गई थी कि वह भारत को एक ऐसा देश घोषित करे जहां पर धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के अधिकार का हनन होता है, जहां मुसलमान सुरक्षित नहीं है. चूंकि इल्हान उमर का भारत-विरोधी एजेंडा किसी से छुपा नहीं है, इसके बाद भी भारत के नेता, प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी का इल्हान उमर से मिलना हैरानी की बात है. आज बीजेपी के तमाम नेताओं ने राहुल गांधी के इस कदम की आलोचना की. कांग्रेस पार्टी के अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने तो न जाने कहां-कहां, कितने देशों में कांग्रेस के खिलाफ अनाप-शनाप बातें कहीं, राहुल गांधी को अपशब्द कहे, अब वही बीजेपी के लोग हमें पाठ पढ़ा रहे हैं कि राहुल गांधी को ऐसा नहीं बोलना चाहिए, ये सही बात नहीं है. मैं हैरान हूं कि अब तक कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने खालिस्तानी पन्नू के समर्थन को क्यों नहीं ठुकराया. पन्नू के खिलाफ बयान क्यों नहीं दिया? मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे पुराने नेता हैं, वह तो कांग्रेस का इतिहास जानते हैं. 1984 के कत्लेआम के बाद चाहे सिख समाज कांग्रेस से कितना भी नाराज़ रहा हो, कांग्रेस ने कभी भी खालिस्तान का समर्थन करने वालों को इसका फायदा नहीं उठाने दिया. कांग्रेस ने कभी खालिस्तान की मांग करने वालों को सिर नहीं उठाने दिया. तो फिर खरगे गोलमोल बात क्यों कर रहे हैं? वह पन्नू को अपना एजेंडा चलाने की इजाज़त क्यों दे रहे हैं? क्या अध्यक्ष जी राहुल गांधी की गलती को छिपाने के लिए मजबूर हैं ? कांग्रेस के नेताओं के पास इस बात का भी जवाब नहीं है कि राहुल गांधी पाकितान समर्थक इल्हान उमर से क्यों मिले? इलहान तो हमेशा से भारत के खिलाफ रही हैं. ये तो कांग्रेस की नीति नहीं हो सकती. कांग्रेस के किसी एकाध नेता ने कभी इधर उधर की बात कर दी हो वो अलग है, लेकिन मूल रूप से कांग्रेस एक राष्ट्रवादी संगठन है. कांग्रेस ने हमेशा पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर को भारत का अभिन्न अंग माना है. कांग्रेस ने तो अनुच्छेद 370 हटाए जाने का भी समर्थन किया था. कांग्रेस ने इंदिरा गांधी और राजीव गांधी के ज़माने में कभी भारत-विरोधी एजेंडा चलाने वालों से हाथ नहीं मिलाया, पाकिस्तान की हिमायत करने वालों को गले नहीं लगाया. क्या अब कांग्रेस की नीति बदल गई है? या राहुल गांधी कांग्रेस की दुकान में कुछ नया माल लेकर आए हैं? ये हसरत, ये नई इबारत, ये मुलाकात, भारत के लोगों को पसंद नहीं आएगी.
Why is Congress silent on Khalistani Pannu praising Rahul?
I am surprised why Congress leaders have not yet rejected the support extended to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Sikhs by pro-Khalistan activist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, and why not a single reaction has emanated from the Congress party about Pannu. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is an experienced leader and he knows the history of his party. After the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, despite deep-rooted anger among the Sikhs about Congress role, the party never allowed Khalistan supporters to take advantage of the situation. Congress never allowed those demanding separate Khalistan to rear their heads. Then why is Kharge trying to obfuscate? Pannu has described Rahul’s statement about ‘existential threat to Sikhs in India’ as ‘bold and pioneering’. Why is Kharge allowing Pannu to carry on with his agenda taking advantage of Rahul’s remarks? My question: Is the Congress President under compulsion to hide Rahul Gandhi’s mistake? Similarly, Congress leaders have nothing to say about why Rahul Gandhi met Pakistan supporter US lawmaker Ilhan Omar. She has always spoken against India in public. This cannot be Congress party’s policy. Had any other Congress leader did the same and made certain remarks, it could have been a different matter altogether. Congress is basically a nationalist organization. The party still considers Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as an integral part of India. Congress had even supported removal of Article 370. During Indira Gandhi’s and Rajiv Gandhi’s time, Congress never joined hands with those who worked on anti-India agenda. The party never supported those advocating the nefarious objectives of Pakistan. Have the policies of Congress party undergone a change? Or has Rahul Gandhi brought some new commodity in his party’s shop? In Urdu there is a phrase loaded with meanings, “Yeh Hasrat, Yeh Nayi Ibaarat, Yeh Mulaaqaat” (Literal meaning: this desire, this new language, this rendezvous). The people of India will never like it.
राहुल नेता विपक्ष हैं : ज़िम्मेदारी समझ कर बोलें
राहुल गांधी आजकल अमेरिका में हैं. वहां उन्होंने हमारे चुनाव आयोग की विश्वसनीयता पर सवाल उठाए . चुनाव आयोग की निष्पक्षता पर शक का इज़हार किया. वाशिंगटन डीसी में जॉर्जटाउन यूनिवर्सिटी के छात्रों बातचीत के दौरान राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि उनकी नज़र में 2024 का लोकसभा चुनाव निष्पक्ष नहीं था. उन्होंने चुनाव आयोग को बीजेपी द्वारा नियंत्रित आयोग बता दिया. राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि चुनाव पूरी तरह से बीजेपी के, नरेंद्र मोदी के पक्ष में कराए गए थे, बीजेपी के पास अपार धन था, प्रशासन की ताक़त थी, चुनाव आयोग का रवैया बीजेपी के पक्ष में था जबकि कांग्रेस के तो बैंक खाते ही फ्रीज कर दिए गए थे. अगर निष्पक्ष चुनाव होते तो बीजेपी 240 सीटें जीत ही नहीं सकती थी. अमेरिका की धरती पर खड़े होकर राहुल ने कहा कि बीजेपी चुनाव इसीलिए जीती क्योंकि उसके पास पैसा है, सत्ता है, चुनाव आयोग है, मीडिया है और सारी एजेंसियों पर बीजेपी का क़ब्ज़ा है. लेकिन राहुल गांधी से कोई ये पूछे कि जब 2014 में चुनाव हुआ था तो कांग्रेस के पास पैसा था, सत्ता थी, ED, CBI जैसी सारी एजेंसियां कांग्रेस के हाथ में थीं, फिर कांग्रेस क्यों नहीं जीत पाई? तब नरेन्द्र मोदी को बहुमत कैसे मिला? क्या उस वक्त भी चुनाव आयोग ने बीजेपी को फायदा पहुंचाया था ? ये बात बचकानी लगती है. मैं एक और बात आपको याद दिलाता हूं. मैंने 1977 का चुनाव देखा है. उस वक्त इंदिरा गांधी जैसी ताक़तवर नेता प्रधानमंत्री थीं. चुनाव होने से पहले 19 महीने तक देश में इमरजेंसी थी, विरोधी दलों के सारे नेता जेल में थे, सारी एजेंसियां बिना किसी रोक-टोक के सरकार के लिए काम कर रही थीं. न्यायपालिका को डराकर रखा गया था और मीडिया पर सेंसरशिप थी. इंदिरा गांधी के विरोध में कोई चूं भी नहीं कर सकता था. उसके बावजूद जब चुनाव हुए तो इंदिरा गाधी बुरी तरह हारीं, जनता पार्टी की सरकार बनी. इसका मतलब साफ है कि अगर जनता आपके खिलाफ हो तो आपके पास चाहे कितनी भी ताक़त हो, चाहे कितना भी पैसा हो, आप चुनाव नहीं जीत सकते. इमरजेंसी के बाद देश ने सबसे खराब समय 1984 में देखा, जब इंदिरा जी की हत्या कर दी गई. हत्या करने वाले उनके अपने सिक्योरिटी गार्ड थे और फिर देश भर में सिख विरोधी दंगे हुए. हजारों सिखों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया गया. वो पहला और आखिरी वक्त था जब सिख समाज ने ऐसा डर, ऐसा खौफ देखा था. इस घटना को 40 साल हो गए.. आज इस बात का जिक्र मैंने इसीलिए किया कि राहुल गांधी ने अमेरिका में खड़े होकर सिखों को संबोधित किया और कहा कि वो चाहते हैं कि भारत में सिख बिना किसी डर के पगड़ी पहन सकें, कड़ा पहन सकें, बिना किसी डर के गुरुद्वारा जा सकें.
राहुल गांधी के इन बयानों पर केंद्रीय मंत्री हरदीप पुरी ने तीखी प्रतिक्रिया दी. उन्होंने इल्ज़ाम लगाया कि राहुल गांधी दुनिया में एक ख़तरनाक नैरेटिव बनाना चाहते हैं कि भारत में सिखों को अपना धर्म मानने की आज़ादी नहीं. हरदीप पुरी ने राहुल गांधी को याद दिलाया कि भारत के इतिहास में सिर्फ़ एक बार 1984 में ऐसा हुआ था, जब सिखों को पगड़ी बांधने और कड़ा पहनने में डर लगा था, जब तीन हज़ार से ज़्यादा बेगुनाह मासूम सिखों को जिंदा जला दिया गया था. राहुल गांधी नरेन्द्र मोदी की मुखालफत करें, उनकी आलोचना करें, ये विपक्ष के नेता के तौर पर उनका हक है. इसमें किसी को कोई आपत्ति नहीं होनी चाहिए लेकिन राहुल गांधी विदेश जाकर हमारी संवैधानिक संस्थाओं को बदनाम करने की कोशिश करें, हमारे देश के सांप्रदायिक सदभाव के खिलाफ बोलें, ये अच्छा नहीं हैं. मुझे लगता है कि राहुल गांधी को बचपना छोड़ना चाहिए, वो अब प्रतिपक्ष के नेता हैं, उन्हें ज़िम्मेदारी से अपनी बात कहनी चाहिए. संवैधानिक संस्थाओं का अपमान करने के बजाए, जनता कि ताकत को, जनादेश को स्वीकार करना चाहिए. वो कब तक इस बात की सफाई देते रहेंगे कि वो तीसरी बार चुनाव क्यों हारे?
LOP Rahul should speak with responsibility
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is presently in the US and addressing Indian diaspora, the media and university students. At Georgetown University in Washington DC, he questioned the credibility of our Election Commission and raised doubts about the EC’s neutrality. Rahul gave the impression that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were not held in a free and fair manner. He went to the extent of saying that the EC is a BJP-controlled election commission, which tilted in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP. These are some of his remarks: “I don’t see it as a free election. I see it as a heavily controlled election…. I don’t believe that in a fair election, the BJP would come anywhere near 240 seats. ….BJP had a huge financial advantage…. The Election Commission was doing what they wanted. The entire campaign was structured so that Mr Modi could carry out his agenda across the country, with different designs for different states…The Congress party fought the elections with their bank accounts frozen and has basically destroyed the idea of Modi. You can see it because when you see the prime minister now in Parliament…he is psychologically trapped, and he basically cannot come to terms, he cannot understand how this has happened.” At an Indian diaspora event in Virginia, Rahul Gandhi asked a Sikh Indian present in the audience about his name and religion, and said, “The fight is about whether he, as a Sikh, is going to be allowed to wear a turban in India; or whether, he, as a Sikh, will be allowed to wear a kada in India; or whether he, as a Sikh, is allowed to go to a Gurudwara. That’s what the fight is about, and not just for him, but for all religions”. Naturally, Rahul’s remarks about Sikhs drew immediate condemnations in India, with Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reminding him of what happened to Sikhs during 1984 under Congress rule. Rahul Gandhi has every right to criticize and oppose Narendra Modi. It is his right as Leader of Opposition. Nobody should have any objection to it, but trying to discredit our Constitutional institutions on foreign soil is not acceptable. Speaking about communal disharmony is not a good sign. I think, Rahul Gandhi should avoid childishness and speak with responsibility as a Leader of Opposition. Instead of insulting Constitutional institutions, he should accept the power of the people and the mandate given by the voters. For how long will he continue giving explanation about why he lost his third bid for power?
रेलवे दुर्घटनाएँ कराने की साज़िश के पीछे कौन ?
रविवार को कानपुर और अजमेर में रेलगाड़ियों को पटरी से उतारने की कोशिश की दो बड़ी घटनाएं सामने आई. कानपुर के पास एक बार फिर भीषण रेल हादसा होते होते बचा. प्रयागराज से भिवानी जा रही कालिंदी एक्सप्रेस पटरी पर एक भरे हुए गैस सिलेंडर से टकराई. लोको पायलट ने तुरंत ब्रेक लगाई. पटरी के पास सिलेंडर के अलावा, बारूद से भरा थैला, पेट्रोल की बोतल और माचिसें रखी पाई गई. ड्राइवर की सावधानी ने बड़ा हादसा होने से बचा लिया. इसी तरह अजमेर के पास रविवार को रेल पटरी पर 70-70 किलो वजन के पत्थर रखे ऐन वक्त पर पाये गये और Western Dedicated Freight Corridor पर एक मालगाड़ी पटरी से उतरने से बच गई. ट्रेन को पटरी से उतारने की, रेल हादसा करवाने की जो कोशिशें हो रही है, उसे आप एक isolated घटना के रूप में देखेंगे तो ये आपको शरारत नज़र आएगी, किसी बदमाश की करतूत दिखाई देगी, लेकिन पिछले कुछ महीनों मे हुई सारी घटनाओं को अगर आप मिलाकर देखेंगे तो इसके पीछे की मंशा और नापाक इरादे नज़र आएंगे. कानपुर के पास रेलवे ट्रैक पर सिलेंडर रखा गया, इससे पहले 17 अगस्त को कानपुर में ही रेलवे ट्रैक पर भारी बोल्डर रखकर साबरमती एक्सप्रैस को पटरी से उतारा गया था. 20 अगस्त को अलीगढ़ में रेलवे ट्रैक पर अलॉय व्हील्स रखे गए थे. 27 अगस्त को फर्रूखाबाद में रेल पटरी पर लकड़ी के बड़े-बड़े बोल्डर रखे गए थे. 23 अगस्त को राजस्थान के पाली में रेलवे ट्रैक पर सीमेंट के गार्डर रखकर वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस को डिरेल करने की कोशिश हुई. पिछले एक महीने में पश्चिम बंगाल, असम और झारखंड में छह से ज्यादा रेल पटरी से उतरने की घटनाएं हुई. ये सब घटनाएं न तो शरारत है, न सिर्फ संयोग है, ये साज़िश के तहत किए जा रहे प्रयोग हैं. हर जगह मॉडस ऑपरेंडी एक जैसी है. इससे साफ पता चलता है कि ये बड़े रेल हादसे कराने को कोशिश है, रेलवे को बदनाम करने की साजिश है, क्योंकि रेलवे में अच्छा काम हुआ है, इससे सरकार की छवि बेहतर हुई है. रेलवे में हुआ बदलाव लोगों को नज़र आता है, इसीलिए बहुत सोच-समझकर रेलवे के खिलाफ साज़िश रची जा रही है. और इसके पीछे कौन हैं, ये पता लगाना सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के लिए बड़ी चुनौती है. लेकिन इसके प्रति सबको सावधान रहने की ज़रूरत है..
Who is conspiring to derail Indian Railways?
Recently, there has been a spate in deliberate multiple sabotage attempts to derail Indian Railways trains, with two attempts made on Sunday alone. In Shivrajpur, 50 km from Kanpur, a deliberate attempt was made to derail the Kalindi Express by placing a gas cylinder on the route. A major accident was averted after the loco pilot heard the sound of train hitting the cylinder, and applied emergency brakes. Authorities recovered a gas cylinder, glass bottles, a matchbox, and a packet containing explosives near the rail track. In Ajmer, Rajasthan, on Sunday, two cement blocks weighing 70 kg each were found placed on rail tracks to derail a goods train on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. The two foiled attempts took place less than a month after 20 coaches of Ahmedabad-bound Sabarmati Express were derailed on August 17 near Govindpuri in Kanpur after the engine hit an object placed on the track. On August 20, alloy wheels were found placed on rail tracks near Aligarh, while on August 27, big wooden boulders were found placed on rail tracks near Farrukhabad. On August 23, big cement girder was placed on rail track near Pali, Rajasthan in a bid to derail Vande Bharat Express. In the last one month, more than six derailments have taken place in West Bengal, Assam and Jharkhand. All such attempts to derail trains should not be seen in isolation, as if some local miscreants did this. If you look at all these incidents, you can find a chain behind some diabolical conspiracy. These are not acts by miscreants or simply a coincidence, but appear to be part of a chain of ‘experiments’ being carried out as part of a bigger conspiracy. The modus operandi in all these incidents is the same. There are forces which are trying to defame Indian Railways by causing such derailments. In the last ten years, Indian Railways had done a tremendously good job and the image of the government has improved. The common people have started noticing the huge changes that have come in Indian Railways. There seems to be a clear well-orchestrated conspiracy to defame the railways. It is for the security agencies to take up the challenge to find out who are behind this conspiracy. It is a big challenge. Till then, all of us need to be on our toes and be alert.

अब विनेश फोगाट और बजरंग पूनिया राजनीति के अखाड़े में नजर आएंगे. विनेश और बजरंग कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गए, विनेश कांग्रेस के टिकट पर जींद की जुलाना सीट से चुनाव लड़ेंगी. बजरंग पूनिया को अखिल भारतीय किसान कांग्रेस का कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया. ओलंपियन रेसलर विनेश फोगाट और बजरंग पूनिया जब राहुल गांधी से मिले थे, उसी वक्त ये साफ हो गया था कि दोनों कांग्रेस में शामिल होंगे. अब दोनों राजनीति के दंगल में क़िस्मत आज़माएंगे. कांग्रेस में शामिल होने से पहले विनेश फोगाट ने रेलवे की नौकरी से इस्तीफ़ा दे दिया. कांग्रेस की सदस्यता लेने के बाद विनेश फोगाट ने कहा कि जब वो बेटियों की इज़्ज़त की लड़ाई लड़ रही थीं, तो कांग्रेस ने पूरी मज़बूती से उनका साथ दिया और उस वक्त BJP ने उनको बदनाम करने की मुहिम चलाई थी. लेकिन उन्होंने ख़ुद को सही साबित करने के लिए नेशनल चैंपियनशिप खेली, ओलंपिक के लिए ट्रायल दिया, फाइनल तक पहुंचीं, पर लगता है कि ईश्वर ने उनके लिए कुछ अलग सोच रखा था. विनेश ने कहा कि बेटियों के सम्मान की लड़ाई जारी रहेगी और इस लड़ाई को आगे ले जाने के लिए उन्हें जिस ताक़त की ज़रूरत है, वो उनको कांग्रेस से मिलेगी. लेकिन बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ संघर्ष में जम कर लड़ने वाली साक्षी मलिक विनेश और बजरंग के कांग्रेस में शामिल होने से दुखी हैं. साक्षी मलिक ने बडी मायूसी से कहा कि विनेश और बजरंग पूनिया ने अपनी निजी हैसियत से फ़ैसला लिया है, उनसे सलाह मशविरा नहीं किया. साक्षी ने कहा कि कुश्ती संघ में बेटियों के सम्मान की लड़ाई से राजनीति को जितना दूर रखा जाता उतना ही अच्छा होता. विनेश और बजरंग ने राजनीति का रास्ता क्यों चुना वही जानें लेकिन वह रेसलिंग फेडरेशन में सुधार के लिए लड़ाई जारी रखेंगी. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने गोंडा में विनेश और बजरंग पर कटाक्ष किया. कहा, वो जो बात शुरू से कह रहे थे, वह आज सच साबित हो गई, पूरा देश जान गया कि जंतर मंतर के आंदोलन के पीछे कौन था. हरियाणा के बीजेपी नेता अनिल विज ने कहा कि वह चैंपियन बेटी के तौर पर विनेश का हमेशा सम्मान करेंगे लेकिन विनेश अब तक देश की बेटी थीं, अब वो कांग्रेस की बेटी बनना चाहती हैं, तो भला बीजेपी को क्या ऐतराज़ हो सकता है, आज एक बात साफ हो गई कि पहलवानों के आंदोलन के पीछे कांग्रेस थी. जवाब में बजरंग पूनिया ने कहा कि जब वो जंतर मंतर पर धरना दे रहे थे, तब उन्होंने बीजेपी की महिला सांसदों को चिट्ठी लिखी थी और समर्थन मांगा था, लेकिन तब बीजेपी ने उनका साथ देने के बजाए उन्हें बदनाम किया, इसलिए वो कांग्रेस में आए ताकि इंसाफ़ की लड़ाई को जारी रख सकें. विनेश और बजरंग के बारे में बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को बोलने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है. उन्हीं की हरकतों की वजह से पहलवानों को सड़क पर उतरना पड़ा. उन्हीं की धमकियों की वजह से पहलवान बेटियों को संघर्ष करना पड़ा. बृजभूषण के हटने के बाद भी रेसलिंग फेडरेशन का रवैया नहीं बदला, पहलवानों ने कोर्ट में केस भी किया लेकिन वहां भी बृजभूषण ने उन्हें कानूनी दांव पेंच मे फंसा दिया, वो कब तक लड़ते ? उन्हें सियासी अखाड़े में उतरना पड़ा. राजनीति के मैदान में आना और चुनाव लड़ना उनकी choice कम और मजबूरी ज्यादा है क्योंकि बृजभूषण शरण सिंह जैसे लोगों ने उनके सामने कोई विकल्प नहीं छोड़ा. बजरंग और विनेश ने कुश्ती के मैदान में देश का नाम रौशन किया, देश के लिए मेडल जीते, इसलिए उनके फैसले का सम्मान होना चाहिए. विनेश ने जिस हिम्मत के साथ बेटियों के सम्मान की लड़ाई लड़ी , फिर सड़क से उठकर पेरिस में ओलंपिक के फाइनल तक का सफर तय किया. इसने उनको youth icon बना दिया. अगर चुनाव लड़कर विनेश अपनी राजनीतिक महत्वाकांक्षा को पूरा करना चाहती हैं तो ये उनका अधिकार है. इस पर कम से कम वो तो खामोश रहें जिनका लोक सभा का टिकट पार्टी ने काट दिया था.
From wrestling ring to political arena : Respect Vinesh’s decision
Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia will now be seen in the political ring. On Friday, both of them joined the Congress. Vinesh Phogat will contest the Haryana Assembly election from Julana in Jind. Bajrang Punia was appointed the working chairman of All India Kisan Congress. Indications of joining Congress party were clear when both of them met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Both quit their jobs in Northern Railways hours before joining the Congress. Vinesh Phogat said it was the Congress which stood by the female wrestlers when they were fighting for their dignity. She alleged, it was the BJP which orchestrated efforts to defame the wrestlers. Vinesh said, her fight against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and his cohorts in Wrestling Federation, for the honour of daughters will continue. However, another female wrestler Sakshi Malik, who was part of the protest against Brij Bhushan, said both Vinesh and Bajrang Punia have taken personal decisions without consulting her, and it would have been better if they had stayed away from politics. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, while speaking in Gonda, UP, said, he has been proved right and the entire nation now knows who was behind the Jantar Mantar wrestlers’ protest. Haryana BJP leader Anil Vij said, he always respected Vinesh for being a ‘champion daughter’, but now that she has opted to become “Congress’ daughter”, it is now clear Congress was behind the wrestlers’ protest. In reply, Bajrang Punia said, the wrestlers during their Jantar Mantar protest, had written letters to all women MPs of BJP seeking their support, but BJP, instead of extending support, defamed them. I think, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has no right to speak about Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia. It was because of his questionable behaviour and threats that the wrestlers had to hit the streets to stage protest. Even after Brij Bhushan’s removal, the attitude of Wrestling Federation office-bearers has not changed. The wrestlers even went to court, but Brij Bhushan got them in a legal tangle. Ultimately, the wrestlers had to enter the political arena. I think, for the wrestlers, entering the political ring is less of a choice and more of a compulsion, because a heavyweight politician like Brij Bhushan did not leave them with any other options. Both Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat brought laurels to the nation in the field of wrestling, they won medals and their decision to join politics must be respected. The courage displayed by Vinesh in fighting for the honour of daughters, the manner in which she rose from the streets and reached the semi-finals at Paris Olympics, has made her a youth icon. If Vinesh wants to fulfill her political ambitions by contesting elections, it is her right. At least those leaders should keep their mouth shut, who had to lose their Lok Sabha tickets because of the female wrestlers’ protest.
