कन्याकुमारी में मोदी : विपक्ष ने मुद्दा बनाने में कैसी ग़लती की
चुनाव प्रचार का शोर थम गया, 1 जून को आखिरी चरण की वोटिंग होगी और 1 जून की शाम को ही आप EXIT पोल देख सकेंगे. 4 जून को जनता का फैसला आ जाएगा. दिन में एक बजे तक तस्वीर साफ हो जाएगी. लेकिन प्रचार के आखिरी दिन पंजाब में इस चुनाव की आखिरी रैली को संबोधित करने के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी कन्याकुमारी पहुंच गए. दो दिन मोदी कन्याकुमारी में रहेंगे. विवेकानंद शिला पर ध्यान लगाएंगे लेकिन ध्यानस्थ होने से पहले मोदी ने कहा कि जनता फैसला कर चुकी है, 4 जून को तीसरी बार मोदी सरकार एक बार फिर बनेगी. मोदी ने बताया कि उन्होंने अगले पांच साल का प्लान तैयार कर लिया है, पहले 125 दिन में क्या-क्या करना है, किसके लिए करना है और कैसे करना है, इसका रोडमैप साफ है. बस नतीजों का इंतजार है लेकिन विरोधी दलों के नेताओं को इस बात पर आपत्ति है कि मोदी कन्याकुमारी क्यों गए, विवेकानंद शिला पर ध्यान क्यों लगा रहे हैं. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने पूछा कि अगर मोदी 4 जून के बाद चले जाते तो कौन सा पहाड़ टूट जाता? उनका आरोप है कि मोदी का ध्यान वोटर्स को प्रभावित करने की कोशिश है, चुनाव आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन है. मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, ममता बनर्जी, अखिलेश यादव से लेकर तेजस्वी यादव तक तमाम नेताओं ने इसी तरह की बातें कहीं लेकिन मोदी ने कहा कि विरोधी दलों के नेता उनकी चुप्पी को कमजोरी न समझें, उन्हें गुस्सा न दिलाएं, वरना वो सात पीढियों के पापों की लिस्ट जनता के सामने रख देंगे. कांग्रेस के नेता चुनाव आयोग से शिकायत तक कर आए. कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, जयराम रमेश और केसी वेणुगोपाल जैसे नेताओं ने मोदी के मौन को चुनावी हथकंडा बताया. खरगे ने कहा, देश को समझने के लिए, गांधीजी के विचारों को समझने के लिए, जनता का दर्द समझने के लिए विवेकानंद शिला पर बैठने से कुछ नहीं होगा, इसके लिए पढ़ना पढ़ता है, अपने अंदर झांकना होता है. जयराम रमेश ने कहा कि मोदी कन्याकुमारी जाकर चुनाव आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन कर रहे हैं, मोदी चार जून के बाद पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री हो जाएंगे, तब उनके पास वक्त ही वक्त होगा, चार जून के बाद कन्याकुमारी चले जाते तो बेहतर होता. समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने तंज़ कसा. कहा, कि इतनी गर्मी में चुनाव करवाकर मोदी तो ध्यान करने कन्याकुमारी निकल गए लेकिन गर्मी से परेशान जनता इस बार उन्हें सबक सिखाने वाली है. पटना में तेजस्वी यादव ने मोदी के ध्यान को नौटंकी बताया. तेजस्वी ने कहा कि ये सब मार्केटिंग के तरीके हैं, पिछली बार मोदी केदारनाथ गए, इस बार कन्याकुमारी जा रहे हैं, अगर उन्हें ध्यान ही करना है तो कैमरे लेकर क्यों जा रहे हैं. ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री की कुर्सी की एक मर्यादा होती है, उन्होंने इतना झूठ बोलने वाला ड्रामेबाज प्रधानमंत्री नहीं देखा, वरना कैमरे लेकर मेडिटेशन करने कौन जाता है. विरोधी दलों के नेताओं की आपत्ति का जवाब उन नेताओं की तरफ से आया, जो दो महीने पहले तक कांग्रेस के नेता थे. संजय निरूपम ने कहा कि ध्यान पर बैठना आन्तरिक शान्ति के लिए ज़रूरी है, ये शुद्धिकरण का आध्यात्मिक तरीका है, भारतीय संस्कृति का हिस्सा है, और ये बात वो लोग नहीं समझेंगे जो नशा करके थकान उतारते हैं. रामलला के दर्शन के लिए अयोध्या जाने के कारण कांग्रेस से निकाले गए आचार्य प्रमोद कृष्णम ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी आसुरी शक्तियों से लड़ने की ऊर्जा हासिल करने के लिए कन्याकुमारी में ध्यान कर रहे हैं, इस बात का महत्व वो लोग नहीं समझ सकते जिनकी आस्था हिन्दुस्तान के आध्यत्म के बजाए वेटिकन की विरासत में हैं. मोदी कन्याकुमारी में सागर के बीचों बीच विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक में हैं. वे 45 घंटे तक ध्यानस्थ रहेंगे. 1 जून को वोटिंग खत्म होने तक मोदी यहीं रहेंगे. चुनावी राजनीति से दूर स्वामी विवेकानंद मैमोरियल के ध्यान मंडपम में ध्यान पर बैठेंगे. इसी जगह पर नरेन्द्र नाथ दत्त यानी स्वामी विवेकानंद ने दिसम्बर, 1892 में तीन दिन तक ध्यान लगाया था. उसके बाद 1893 में शइकागो में आयोजित विश्व धर्म संसद में स्वामी विवेकानंद ने ऐतिहासिक भाषण दिया था, जिसकी चहुंओर सराहना हुई थी. स्वामी विवेकानंद को यहीं पर ध्यान लगाते हुए भारत माता के दैवीय स्वरूप की अनुभूति हुई, विकसित भारत का विचार उनके मन में आया. 1970 में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के पूर्व सरकार्यवाह एकनाथ रानाडे के प्रयासों से यहां विवेकानंद स्मारक बन कर तैयार हुआ. चूंकि नरेन्द्र मोदी ने अपने तीसरे कार्यकाल में विकसित भारत का लक्ष्य रखा है, इसीलिए चुनाव के आखिरी दौर में प्रचार खत्म करने के बाद मोदी ने उसी जगह पर वक्त बिताने का फैसला किया जहां विवेकानंद को विकसित भारत का विचार आया. विवेकानंद स्मारक जाने से पहले मोदी कन्य़ाकुमारी में भगवती अम्मन मंदिर गए और पूजा की. मैं हैरान हूं कि मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे और ममता बनर्जी जैसे अनुभवी नेताओं ने मोदी के ध्यान को मुद्दा बनाया. वे भी जानते हैं कि ये ना तो आदर्श आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन है और न ही विवेकानंद शिला पर ध्यान लगाने से मोदी को कोई वोटों का फायदा होने वाला है. पर मोदी के ध्यान की शिकायत करके, इस पर सवाल उठाकर विरोधी दलों ने इसपर जनता का ध्यान जरूर आकर्षित किया है. कांग्रेस और दूसरे विरोधी दलों ने इसी तरह की गलती अयोध्या के श्री रामजन्मभूमि मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम का बायकॉट करके की थी. उस समय किसी ने कहा कि उन्हें बुलाया नहीं गया, जवाब में विश्व हिंदू परिषद ने बता दिया कि सबको आमंत्रित किया गया था. किसी ने कहा कि मंदिर आधा अधूरा है, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा नहीं हो सकती, तो शंकराचार्य ने इसका जवाब दे दिया. एक नेता ने कहा कि मंदिर की क्या जरूरत. इसका जवाब मोदी ने अपनी जनसभाओं में दिया. इस पूरे चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान मोदी को उनके विरोधियों ने भरपूर मौके दिए, बार-बार गलतियां की. राहुल के राजनीतिक सलाहकार सैम पित्रोदा ने इनहेरिटेंस टैक्स का मुद्दा उस वक्त उठाया जब मोदी कांग्रेस पर लोगों की विरासत चुराने का आरोप लगा रहे थे. मणिशंकर अय्यर ने तो दो दो no ball फेंके. एक पाकिस्तान के एटम बम पर और दूसरी चीन के आक्रमण को कथित बता कर. मोदी ने दोनों बार गेंदों को बाउंड्री के पार पहुंचा दिया. .अब कन्याकुमारी में मोदी के ध्यान पर जो सवाल उठाए गए हैं, इसका भी करारा जवाब मिलेगा. अगर विरोधी दलों के नेता चुप रहते, तो ये इतना बड़ा मुद्दा न बनता.
HOW OPPOSITION FUMBLED ON MODI’S MEDITATION IN KANYAKUMARI
As curtains fell on the two-month-long campaigning for Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi headed to Kanyakumari, where he began his meditation for 45 hours at Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The meditation spell will end on June 1 afternoon. Exit polls will be telecast on June 1 after the last phase of polling is over. Counting will take place on June 4 and the nation will come to know who will lead the next government. Before leaving for Kanyakumari, Modi said, the people of India have made up their mind and his government is going to get a third term. He said, a time-bound plan for the next five years of his government has already been prepared, but firstly, a 125-day action plan will be put in motion. Opposition leaders have described Modi’s meditation spell in Kanyakumari as a “gimmick”, which was meant to influence voters who will be casting their vote on June 1. Congress leaders alleged that this meditation spell, in the glare of cameras, was a clear violation of Model Code of Conduct. A delegation of Congress leaders went to the Election Commission to lodge a complaint. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, meditation at Vivekananda Rock was not necessary to understand the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and to realize the pain and sufferings of common people. “One needs to introspect and read a lot”, he advised. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, in a jibe, said, Modi will have ample time to meditate after June 4, since he would no longer remain the Prime Minister. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, Modi left for Kanyakumari to meditate after making people vote during a heat wave, and the people will surely teach him a lesson. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, this was a “marketing gimmick”. He asked, where was the need for taking so many cameras to show that he was meditating. Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee said, “the nation has never seen such a Prime Minister who indulged in gimmicks, the office of Prime Minister carries dignity, otherwise who takes cameras for meditation?” A swift response came from leaders, who, till recently, were Congress leaders. Sanjay Nirupam, expelled from Congress on April 3 for ‘indiscipline’, said, meditation is required for inner peace. “It is a spiritual tool for self-purification, it is part of Indian culture, and those who seek intoxication to drown their exhaustion, will not understand the true meaning of meditation. Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who was expelled from Congress on February 11 for visiting Ram Temple in Ayodhya, said, “Modi is meditating to gain energy to fight the forces of evil. Those having faith in Vatican City heritage instead of Hindu spiritualism, will never understand its significance.” On Thursday, in Kanyakumari, Modi first offered prayers in Bhagavathi Amman temple, and later went to Dhyan Mandapam at Vivekananda Rock Memorial to begin his meditation. It was at this confluence of Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean that Swami Vivekananda sat on a rock to meditate for three days in December, 1892, before going to deliver his historic speech at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, US, in 1893. It was at this sacred rock that Swami Vivekananda realized the true, spiritual nature of Mother India, when he spoke of his dream for a resurgent, prosperous Bharat. In 1963, Eknath Ranade, former general secretary of RSS, set up the Vivekananda Kendra for building this memorial, with the help of donations from citizens and state governments. The then President V V Giri inaugurated the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in 1970. Since Prime Minister Modi has set Viksit Bharat (Developed India) as his goal during his third term, it was in the nature of things that Modi went to Kanyakumari to spend his time in meditation, away from the heat and dust of electoral politics. I was surprised when experienced political leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Mamata Banerjee made Modi’s meditation on Vivekananda Rock an issue. Both of them know, this is, in no way, a violation of Model Code of Conduct, nor is Modi going to gain electoral advantage by meditation of Vivekananda Rock. But, by lodging complaint and raising questions about the meditation, the opposition parties have attracted public attention towards this issue. Congress and other opposition leaders committed the same mistake when they boycotted the consecration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Some leaders said, they were not invited, but Vishwa Hindu Parishad claimed that all opposition leaders were invited. Some leaders said the temple was partially built and no consecration can take place as per Hindu rites. The Shankaracharya replied to this. One leader questioned the need of such a temple, and Modi replied to this in his public rallies. Throughout the two-month-long campaign, the opposition gave plenty of opportunities to Modi. Rahul Gandhi’s political adviser Sam Pitroda floated the idea of US-type inheritance tax. Mani Shankar Aiyar bowled ‘no balls’ twice. First he said, India should respect Pakistan, because it has atomic bombs. Secondly, he described the 1962 Chinese invasion with the adjective “alleged”. Modi pulled both no balls to the boundaries. Now, question has been raised about Modi sitting on meditation in Kanyakumari. Naturally, the backlash is going to be a big one. It would have been better if the Opposition remained mum. Modi’s meditation would not have become an issue.
4 जून के नतीजे : अमित शाह का आकलन
चुनाव प्रचार का शोर थमने के साथ ही अब हर बड़ी पार्टी के नेता नफा-नुकसान का आकलन करने बैठ गए हैं. भारतीय जनता पार्टी के चाणक्य माने जाने वाले गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने इंडिया टीवी के साथ बातचीत में भविष्यवाणी की है कि बीजेपी इस बार उत्तर प्रदेश में 70 लोकसभा सीटों पर जीत हासिल करने का रिकॉर्ड बनाएगी, और नरेंद्र मोदी तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बनेंगे. उन्होने राज्यवार अपना आकलन बताते हुए जीत की संभवनाओं के पीछे वजहें भी बतायी। अमित शाह ने समझाया कि आखिर वो 4 जून को NDA के लिए 400 पार का दावा क्यों कर रहे हैं. इसका आधार क्या है. अमित शाह ने कहा कि देश के 16 राज्यों और केन्द्र शासित क्षेत्रों की सारी लोकसभा सीटें बीजेपी जीतेगी. इन राज्यों में विपक्ष का खाता भी नहीं खुलेगा. यूपी में समाजवादी पार्टी चार के आंकड़े को भी नहीं छू पाएगी. अमित शाह ने कहा कि बीजेपी बंगाल, उड़ीसा, तेलंगाना, आन्ध्र प्रदेश जैसे राज्यों में हैरान करने वाले नतीजे देगी. गुजरात, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ, कर्नाटक, झारखंड, महाराष्ट्र और उत्तर पूर्व के बाकी राज्यों में भी बीजेपी पुराने रिकॉर्ड को बरकरार रखेगी. अमित शाह का दावा है कि इस बार बंगाल में बीजेपी को 24 से 30 के बीच सीटें मिलेंगी और ओडिशा में बीजेपी 21 में से 17 सीटें जीतेगी, तेलंगाना में 17 में से 10 सीटें बीजेपी के खाते में आएं तो कोई हैरानी की बात नहीं होगी. लेकिन अमित शाह ने माना कि राजस्थान और हरियाणा में बीजेपी को एक दो सीटों का नुकसान हो सकता है. अमित शाह का दावा है कि देश में इस समय मोदी की आंधी चल रही है और 4 जून को आने वाले नतीजे सबको चौंकाएंगे. इसलिए चार सौ का आंकड़ा कोई मुश्किल लक्ष्य नहीं है. इंडिया टीवी के पॉलिटिकल एडीटर देवेन्द्र पाराशर बुधवार को दिन भर अमित शाह के साथ थे. अमित शाह ने पूर्वांचल के महाराजगंज, देवरिया, बलिया और रॉबर्ट्सगंज में रैलियां कर रहे थे, गाजीपुर में रोड शो भी किया. इस दौरान देवेन्द्र पाराशर ने अमित शाह से बात की. अमित शाह ने कहा कि दावे तो कोई भी कुछ भी कर सकता है, सब को 4 जून तक ये कहने का हक है कि उनकी सरकार बनने जा रही है लेकिन वो पिछले दो महीनों में पूरे देश में घूमे हैं, हर इलाके में गए हैं और उन्होंने ये महसूस किया कि देश ‘मोदीमय’ है, मोदी के नाम की आंधी चल रही हैं, 4 जून को जब नतीजे आएंगे तो मोदी की आंधी में सारे विरोधी उड़ जाएंगे. इसके बाद अमित शाह ने राज्यों की बात की. पाराशर ने सबसे पहले यूपी के बारे में पूछा. 2014 में बीजेपी ने यूपी में 71 सीटें जीती थीं और 2019 में 62 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की थी. अमित शाह ने कहा कि यूपी में बीजेपी इस बार पिछले सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ेगी. पिछले सात साल में योगी आदित्यनाथ ने नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में इतना अच्छा काम किया है कि आज यूपी विकास का मॉडल बन गया है. इसका असर नतीजों में दिखेगा. देवेन्द्र पाराशर ने अमित शाह से बंगाल और ओडिशा के बारे में पूछा क्योंकि ये दो राज्य ऐसे हैं जहां बीजेपी का मुकाबला क्षेत्रीय पार्टियों से हैं. बंगाल में ममता बनर्जी हैं और ओडिशा में नवीन पटनायक हैं, दोनों पार्टियां काफी मजबूत हैं. अमित शाह ने कहा कि ओडिशा में बीजेपी नया इतिहास रचेगी, लोकसभा की 21 में से 15 से 17 सीटेंगी और ओडिशा में बीजेपी की सरकार बनेगी. अमित शाह ने कहा कि आन्ध्र प्रदेश में भी बीजेपी और चंद्रबाबू नायडु की तेलेगु देसम पार्टी मिलकर सरकार बनाएंगी. तेलंगाना में बीजेपी को 17 में से कम से कम दस सीटें मिलेंगी, तमिलनाडु और केरल में भी बीजेपी का खाता खुलेगा. अमित शाह ने कहा कि बंगाल में अब तक चुनाव में धांधली, हिंसा होती थी, अब वो दौर खत्म होगा.
अमित शाह ने ये भी माना कि इस बार बिहार, राजस्थान और हरियाणा में बीजेपी की सीटें कम हो सकती हैं. महाराष्ट्र में भी बीजेपी को एक दो सीटों का नुकसान हो सकता है क्योंकि इन राज्यों में बीजेपी पहले ही सैचुरेशन प्वाइंट (उच्चतम अंक) वाली स्थिति में है. अमित शाह ने कहा कि झारखंड में बीजेपी 2019 का प्रदर्शन दोहराएगी. झारखंड की 14 में से इस बार भी 12 सीटें जीतेगी, जबकि उत्तराखंड, दिल्ली और गुजरात की सारी सीटों पर बीजेपी की जीत होगी. अमित शाह का एक खास गुण ये है कि वो हर विषय पर खुलकर बोलते हैं. उनका दूसरा गुण ये है कि बीजेपी कहां कितनी सीटें जीतेगी, इसका वो लगातार आकलन करते रहते हैं. तीसरी बात ये कि वो सीटों के बारे में तभी पूर्वानुमान बताते हैं जब उनके पास 4-5 अलग अलग रिपोर्ट्स आ जाती हैं. पिछले दिनों राहुल गांधी, अखिलेश यादव और तेजस्वी यादव ने जिस विश्वास के साथ अपनी जीत के दावे किए, अमित शाह ने इन सब दावों की हवा निकाल दी. अमित शाह ने हर उस सवाल का जवाब दिया, जो लोगों के मन में हैं – जैसे यूपी में बीजेपी कितनी सीटें जीतेगी या फिर जिन प्रदेशों में बीजेपी की सारी की सारी सीटें जीतने का अनुमान है, क्या वहां कुछ सीटें कम हो जाएंगीं. और सबसे बड़ा सवाल ये है कि बीजेपी को उत्तरी और पश्चिमी भारत में अगर कुछ सीटों का नुकसान होता है तो उसकी भरपाई कहां से होगी. अमित शाह का आकलन ये है कि हरियाणा और राजस्थान में जो एक दो सीटों का नुकसान होगा, उससे कहीं ज्यादा सीटें बंगाल, ओडिशा और तेलंगाना में बीजेपी को मिल जाएगी. यही बीजेपी को स्पष्ट बहुमत वाली सीट दिलाएगी. अमित शाह की बात सुनने के बाद राहुल गांधी, ममता बनर्जी, अरविन्द केजरीवाल, अखिलेश यादव, तेजस्वी यादव जैसे नेता जो पूछ रहे थे कि बीजेपी 400 का आंकड़ा कैसे पार करेगी, इन लोगों को जवाब मिल गया होगा.
JUNE 4 RESULTS: AMIT SHAH’S ASSESSMENT
Home Minister and BJP’s master election strategist Amit Shah, in an exclusive interview to India TV, has predicted a thumping majority for his party in Lok Sabha elections. He has also predicted that BJP would form government in Odisha and a coalition government with Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh this time. Shah predicted a clean sweep for BJP in 16 states and Union Territories. Shah was speaking to India TV Political Editor Devendra Parashar on Wednesday, during his eastern UP poll campaign. He was asked about his state-wise assessment about his party’s prospects. He said, BJP will break past records in UP and “will definitely win more than 70 seats” out of a total of 80. He attributed two factors behind this. One, he said, largest number of BPL beneficiaries of welfare schemes like free foodgrains, drinking water, toilets, electricity, house and Ayushman mediclaim scheme come from UP and Bihar, and they will surely support BJP. Two, Yogi Adityanath’s government has ended decades of “goonda raj” by local mafia gangs and the common man is living a peaceful life. For West Bengal, Amit Shah predicted that BJP would win 24 to 30 out of a total of 42 Lok Sabha seats, while in Odisha, BJP would win 15 to 17 out of a total of 21 seats. In Telangana, he claimed, BJP could win more than 10 LS seats, while in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, BJP would open its account. Amit Shah candidly admitted that BJP might “lose one or two seats” in Haryana, Rajasthan, Bihar and Maharashtra, because “it had reached a saturation point last time”. Shah said, BJP would keep its number of seats intact in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand, while in Karnataka, the ruling Congress is already facing anti-incumbency. “Overall”, Shah said, “our tally of Lok Sabha seats is going to increase, because a ‘Modi wave’ is sweeping large parts of the country. The June 4 results will surprise everybody.” Amit Shah has this quality of speaking out candidly during interviews on almost all subjects. His second quality is, he continues to assess and re-assess his party’s prospects in each state. Thirdly, he makes predictions only after accessing four or five different reports. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav had been making predictions recently about INDIA bloc going to form a government at the Centre. Amit Shah’s candid predictions may cause worries for these leaders. Shah pointed out that losses of some seats in the North and West, will be more than compensated by gains to be made from the East and South. Shah’s assessment is: BJP will win more seats in Bengal, Odisha and Telangana to compensate loss of a few seats in Haryana and Rajasthan. This will ensure that BJP will get a thumping majority for a third term at the Centre. I hope, opposition leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi who were predicting BJP’s defeat, will get their answers from Amit Shah’s projections.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को कहा कि 4 जून को सबसे ज्यादा चौंकाने वाले नतीजे पश्चिम बंगाल से आएंगे. बंगाल में बीजेपी क्लीन स्वीप करेगी, ममता का किला ढह जाएगा. मोदी ने कहा कि इस बार ओड़िशा में भी बडा बदलाव होगा. 25 साल से ओडिशा में चल रहा है नवीन पटनायक का शासन खत्म होगा, 10 जून को ओडिशा में बीजेपी का मुख्यमंत्री शपथ लेगा. हालांकि ममता बनर्जी ने भी दावा किया कि उन्होंने जिस तरह बंगाल से लैफ्ट को उखाड़ फेंका, वैसे ही बंगाल से बीजेपी को बाहर कर देंगी. चार जून को ये पता लग जाएगा कि बंगाल के बारे में बीजेपी के नेताओं के दावे कितने खोखले हैं. बंगाल में मंगलवार को मोदी की दो रैलियां बारासात और जादवपुर में हुईं. कोलकाता में नरेन्द्र मोदी और ममता बनर्जी दोनों का रोड शो हुआ. चूंकि वोटिंग के सातवें और आखिरी चरण में बंगाल की 9 सीटों पर वोट डाले जाने हैं, इसलिए अब तृणमूल कांग्रेस और बीजेपी ने पूरी ताकत बंगाल में लगाई है. बंगाल में मोदी ने नई गारंटी दी. मोदी ने कहा कि 2014 में उन्होंने गांरटी दी थी कि ‘न खाऊंगा, न खाने दूंगा’, अब गारंटी दे रहे हैं, ‘जिन्होंने खाया है, उनसे वापस वसूलूंगा’, और ‘जिनका खाया है, उन्हें लौटाउंगा’.
कोलकाता में मोदी के रोड शो के लिए ज़ोरदार तैयारियां की गई थीं. इस रोड शो का थीम ‘बांगालीर मोने मोदी’ रखा गया है, जिसका मतलब है- ‘बंगालियों के मन में मोदी’. रोड शो शुरू करने से पहले मोदी ने कोलकाता के बाग बाज़ार में मां शारदा मां के घर गए. मां शारदा रामकृष्ण परमहंस की पत्नी थी. यहीं वह परलोक सिधारी थीं. इसलिए इस जगह के प्रति लोगों में विशेष श्रद्धा हैं. मां शारदा निवास में मोदी ने पूजा-अर्चना की. मोदी श्यामबाजार पहुंचे जहां उन्होंने नेताजी की प्रतिमा पर फूल चढ़ाए. करीब दो किलोमीटर के इस रोड शो में 40 मंच बनाए गए थे जहां रवींद्र संगीत की धुन सुनाई दे रही थी. मोदी पर फूलों की बारिश की जा रही थी. मोदी ने उत्तर कोलकाता से बीजेपी उम्मीदवार तापस रॉय के लिए वोट मांगा. इस सीट से तापस रॉय का मुकाबला तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता सुदीप बंद्योपाध्याय से है जो उत्तर कोलकाता से पांच बार चुनाव जीत चुके हैं. पिछले चुनाव में जब बीजेपी ने बंगाल में 18 सीटें हासिल की थी, उस चुनाव में भी इस सीट पर बीजेपी चुनाव नहीं जीत पायी. इसीलिए मोदी ने रोड शो के लिए कोलकाता का यही इलाका चुना. करीब एक घंटे तक चला ये रोड शो कोलकाता के शिमला स्ट्रीट पर खत्म हुआ, जहां स्वामी विवेकानंद का मकान है. मोदी ने अपनी रैलियों में कांग्रेस और इंडी अलायंस पर तीखा हमला बोला. कहा कि कुछ लोग पिछले कई दिनों से तानाशाही का राग अलाप रहे हैं, ऐसे लोगों को बंगाल आकर देखना चाहिए कि तानाशाही और गुंडागर्दी क्या होती है. मोदी ने कहा कि बंगाल में जो सच बोलता है, तृणमूल कांग्रेस उसे टारगेट करती है, संदेशखाली में महिलाओं के सम्मान की लड़ाई लड़ने वाली रेखा पात्रा पर कीचड़ उछालने की कोशिश की गई. मोदी ने कहा कि ममता बनर्जी ने पश्चिम बंगाल में मां को भय दिया है, माटी का अपमान किया और मानुष के साथ अमानुषी व्यवहार किया. उनका इशारा ममता के ‘मां, माटी, मानुष’ वाले नारे की तरफ था. मोदी ने कहा, अब बंगाल की जनता ममता बनर्जी को सबक सिखाएगी. मोदी ने कहा कि ममता ने सिर्फ लोगों को बांटकर, हिन्दुओं को अपमानित करके, मुसलमानों का तुष्टिकरण करके अपनी राजनीतिक रोटियां सेंकी हैं, लेकिन अब हालात बदलेंगे . जहां मोदी का रोड़ शो हो रहा था, उससे पांच किलोमीटर दूर ममता बनर्जी भी अपने समर्थकों के साथ पदयात्रा कर रही थीं. ममता ने दमदम और दक्षिण कोलकाता में रोड शो किया, करीब 9 किलोमीटर पैदल चलीं. इससे पहले ममता ने मोदी को जवाब दिया, कहा कि मोदी को जो कहना है, कहें लेकिन उनके कहने से कुछ नहीं होने वाला, बंगाल में खेला होगा. ममता ने कहा कि उनका वादा है कि जैसे बंगाल से लैफ्ट को बाहर किया, वैसे ही वीजेपी को बंगाल में पैर नहीं जमाने देंगी. ममता ने कहा कि मोदी सिर्फ झूठे वादे कर रहे हैंस मोदी का एक भी वादा पूरा नहीं होगा. बंगाल में इस बार का चुनाव बीजेपी और तृणमूल कांग्रेस दोनों के लिए नाक का सवाल है. फर्क बस इतना है कि बंगाल में ममता का सब कुछ दांव पर लगा है लेकिन बीजेपी के लिए बंगाल में खोने के लिए कुछ नहीं हैं. चूंकि पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में ममता को बड़ा झटका लग चुका है, बीजेपी की सीटों की संख्या 2 से बढ़कर 18 हो गई थी और ममता की पार्टी 38 से घट कर 22 पर आ गई थी, इसलिए इस बार ममता परेशान हैं और बीजेपी उत्साहित है. दोनों पूरी ताकत लगा रहे हैं. आखिरी चरण में ममता की चुनौती ज्यादा बड़़ी है क्योंकि जिन नौ सीटों पर सांतवें चरण में वोटिंग होनी है, वे ममता के मजबूत इलाके हैं. पिछले चुनाव में ये सारी सीटें तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने जीती थीं. इनमें ममता के भतीजे अभिषेक बनर्जी की डायमंड हार्बर सीट, सौगत रॉय की दमदम सीट और सुदीप बंदोपाध्याय की उत्तरी कोलकाता सीट भी शामिल हैं.. बंगाल से जो रिपोर्ट्स मिली हैं, उनमें बताया गया है कि इस बार अभिषेक बनर्जी की सीट डायमंड हार्बर में भी तृणमूल कांग्रेस की स्थिति ठीक नहीं हैं और ये ममता को चिंता में डालने वाली बात है.. पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव में ममता बनर्जी की जीत में बड़ी भूमिका अदा करने वाले चुनाव रणनीतिकार प्रशांत किशोर का आकलन है कि इस बार पश्चिम बंगाल में बीजेपी को लोकसभा में पिछली बार के मुकाबले और भी ज्यादा सीटें मिलेंगी और ये आंकड़े ममता बनर्जी के लिए बड़ा धक्का साबित होंगे.
WILL MODI OVERTAKE MAMATA IN BENGAL THIS TIME?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that West Bengal would come up with the most surprising results on June 4 (counting day) and “Mamata’s fort will crumble this time”. He said, “ten years ago, I had given the slogan “Na Khaoonga, Na Khaane Doonga”, but this time, I want to add ‘Jihnone Khaaya, Unse Wapas Vasoolunga, Jinka Khaya, Unhen Lautaoonga’ (I will collect ill-gotten money and give back to those who lost their money).” It is a close fight in Bengal, with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee claiming that her party would not allow BJP to take roots in the state. Modi addressed two election rallies in Barasat and Jadavpur, and in his Kolkata road show, the theme was “Baangalir Maney Modi” (Modi in the mind of Bengalis). Mamata Banerjee said, “Modi’s words will have no effect in Bengal, and BJP will be uprooted from the state.” She described Modi as a “caretaker Prime Minister, who has made empty promises…The people of Bengal know the truth and they will teach BJP a lesson”. The electoral battle in Bengal has become a prestigious one, both for BJP and Trinamool Congress. There is, however, one difference. Mamata Banerjee has staked a lot on this election, while BJP has nothing to lose in Bengal. In the last Lok Sabha elections, BJP had increased its tally from two to 18, and TMC’s tally declined from 38 to 22. This is the reason why Mamata Banerjee appears to be worried and BJP is firing on all cylinders. The nine LS seats that will witness polling on June 1 are considered TMC’s strongholds. Trinamool Congress had won all these nine seats five years ago. The fate of Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee from Diamond Harbour, Saugata Roy from Dum Dum and Sudeep Bandopadhyay from North Kolkata is at stake. Reports from Bengal say, Abhishek Banerjee is not in a strong position presently in Diamond Harbour, and this can make Mamata worried. In the last assembly elections in Bengal, poll strategist Prashant Kishore had played an important role for Mamata Banerjee. This time, Prashant Kishore has predicted that BJP would win more LS seats in Bengal compared to last time. This could become a big political setback for Mamata Banerjee.
पाकिस्तानियों को मेरे इलेक्शन शो में मोदी का अंदाज़-ए-बयां इतना पसंद क्यों आया?
आजकल पाकिस्तान में हर जगह इंडिया टीवी पर मेरे इलेक्शन शो में प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के जवाब की चर्चा हो रही है. इस शो में नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पाकिस्तान के बारे में जो कुछ कहा, जिस तरह से पाकिस्तान के एटम बम पर जवाब दिया, चन्द्रयान मिशन की बात की, उसकी पाकिस्तान के सोशल मीडिया में ज़बरदस्त चर्चा हो रही है. इस इलेक्शन शो की क्लिप्स पाकिस्तान में ट्रैंड कर रही हैं, वहां के यूट्यूबर्स इस शो पर वीडियो बना रहे हैं, उन्हें ज़बरदस्त हिट्स मिल रहे हैं. हैरानी की बात ये है कि मोदी ने इस इलेक्शन शो में पाकिस्तान की खिंचाई की, वहां के हालात को लेकर तीखे कमेंट किए. पाकिस्तान के लोगों को मोदी का अंदाज़-ए-बयां पंसद आया. पाकिस्तान से मुझे मैसेज, मेल्स आए जिनमें इस शो को लेकर कमेंट किए गए. इस शो में मैंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से पाकिस्तान के परमाणु बम और मिशन चंद्रयान की बात की. इस पर मोदी ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान के लिए झंडे पर चांद काफी हैं लेकिन मुझे भारत का झंडा चांद पर पहुंचाना था, वो पहुंचा दिया. मोदी के इस जवाब पर पाकिस्तान के लोग खूब रिएक्ट कर रहे हैं. पाकिस्तान के झंडे पर चांद, और चांद पर भारत का झंडा लहराने की जो बात मोदी ने कही थी, वो तथ्यात्मक दृष्टि से बिल्कुल सही है. यही वजह है कि पाकिस्तानियों को ये जवाब बुरा नहीं लग रहा. पाकिस्तान के लोगों का कहना है कि मोदी ने तो आइना दिखाया है, उसमें बुरा मानने की क्या बात है. वैसे मज़ेदार बात ये है कि भारत के मिशन चंद्रयान की सफलता के बाद पाकिस्तान ने भी चीन के साथ मिलकर अपना मिशन मून शुरू किया है. लेकिन इस मिशन की सच्चाई क्या है, वो पाकिस्तान का बच्चा-बच्चा जानता है. पाकिस्तानी सोशल मीडिया पर कह रहे हैं कि चीन के इन मिशन में सिर्फ चीनी वैज्ञानिक नज़र आ रहे हैं, एक भी पाकिस्तानी नज़र नहीं आ रहा है. चीन के स्पेसक्राफ्ट पर चीनी भाषा में लिखा हुआ है, न पाकिस्तान का झंडा है, न पाकिस्तान के बारे में कुछ लिखा हुआ है. दरअसल इसी महीने चीन का चांग-ई-6 यान जब चंद्रमा के उस पार पहुंचा तो उसने एक काफी छोटा-सा पाकिस्तानी उपग्रह छोड़ा जिसने चांद की तस्वीरें भेजी. लेकिन ये सारा मिशन चीन का था. अब आता हूं, मेरे इलेक्शन शो पर. मैने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से पूछा कि कांग्रेस के एक नेता ने कहा है कि हमें पाकिस्तान से डर कर रहना चाहिए, क्योंकि उसके पास एटम बम है. ये था मोदी का जवाब – “वो ताकत तो मैं खुद लाहौर जाकर चेक करके आया हूं। मैं बिना किसी सुरक्षा जांच के लाहौर में उतरा। वहां पर एक रिपोर्टर रिपोर्टिंग कर रहा था.. हाय अल्लाह तौबा..हाय अल्लाह तौबा.. ये बिना वीजा कैसे आ गए.. मैं बोला, ये मेरा ही देश था यार किसी जमाने में..।“ मज़े की बात ये है कि मोदी ने जिस पाकिस्तानी रिपोर्टर का जिक्र किया, जो टीवी पर चिल्ला कर कह रहा था कि तौबा तौबा मोदी के साथ 120 लोग बिना वीज़ा के पाकिस्तान में दनदनाते हुए घूम रहे हैं, तो पाकिस्तान के यूट्यूबर्स उस रिपोर्टर की क्लिप भी खोज लाए जिसका जिक्र मोदी ने इलैक्शन स्पेशल शो में किया. खास बात ये है कि मोदी के साथ इस इलेक्शन शो को जितने गौर से भारत में लोगों ने सुना, उतने ही ध्यान से पाकिस्तानियों ने भी देखा. मोदी की बात सुनने के बाद पाकिस्तान के लोगों ने भी माना कि पिछले 10 साल में भारत ने इतनी तरक्की की है, कि वह अब पाकिस्तान से कई गुना आगे निकल गया है. पाकिस्तान के लोगों ने नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ मेरा शो काफी मज़े लेकर देखा, वहां के टीवी चैनल्स ने मोदी के इस शो को लेकर अपने कई शो क्रिएट कर लिए लेकिन कुछ बातें नोट करने वाली हैं. पाकिस्तान के हुक्मरां, वहां के नेता मोदी की मुखालफत करते हैं लेकिन पाकिस्तान की पब्लिक कहती है कि अगर उनके पास भी मोदी जैसा लीडर होता तो काफी तरक्की हो जाती. पाकिस्तान के लीडर राहुल गांधी की तारीफ करते हैं, कांग्रेस के सत्ता में आने की दुआ करते हैं लेकिन वहां कि पब्लिक मोदी के काम की जमकर तारीफ करती है. मणिशंकर अय्यर ने कहा था कि पाकिस्तान से डरना चाहिए क्योंकि उसके पास एटम बम है. इसके जवाब में मोदी ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान के एटम बम में कोई दम नहीं है. कुछ साल पहले मरहूम पाकिस्तानी पत्रकार तारेक फतेह ने ‘आप की अदालत’ में कहा था कि पाकिस्तान के एटम बम से डरने की जरूरत नहीं है क्योंकि उसमें फलूदा भरा हुआ है. आज भी पाकिस्तान में एटम बम और भारत के चंद्रयान को लेकर कई तरह के मज़ाक होते हैं, पाकिस्तान के लोग अपने हुक्मरां पर खूब हंसते हैं.
WHY PAKISTANIS HAVE GONE GAGA OVER MODI’S COMMENTS IN MEGA-ELECTION SHOW
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments in my ‘special election show’ about Pakistan’s atom bomb and ‘Chandrayaan’ have become the talk of the town on Pakistani social media websites. Clips from my ‘Salaam India’ show with Modi are trending on Pakistani social media sites, with their Youtubers garnering hits by inserting these Modi clips. In the show last week, when I asked Prime Minister Modi about Mani Shankar Aiyar saying that we in India must know that Pakistan has atom bombs, Modi replied sarcastically: “Who Taaqat Toh Main Khud Lahore Jaakar Check Karke Aaya Hoon. Main Bina Kisi Suraksha Jaanch ke Lahore mein Utara, Wahan par Ek Reporter Reporting Kar Raha Tha, ‘Hai Allah, Touba Touba, Who Bina Visa Kaise Aa Gaye? Main Bola, Yeh Mera Hi Desh Thaa Yaar, Kisi Zamaane mein” (I’ve myself gone to Pakistan and checked their power… I landed in Lahore without any security checks, and one of their TV reporters was saying Hai Allah, Touba, Modi has landed in Pakistan without any visa. Yes, this was in their live debates. Why can’t I go, after all Pakistan was part of our country at one time).
In the show, I asked Modi about Pakistanis saying that India’s Chandrayaan landing on the Moon was no big deal, because their own country resembles the Moon with full of potholes and without electricity. Modi replied: “For Pakistanis, Moon on their national flag is significant, but for me, hoisting our tricolour flag on the Moon is important.”
In several of the social media videos, Pakistani anchors were seen saying that they liked Modi’s “andaaz-e-bayaan” (style of presentation). Personally, I got a large number of messages and mails from Pakistan, with Pakistanis commenting on Modi’s performance in the election show.
Several Pakistanis said, what Modi said was factually correct: He did land in Lahore with his entourage of 120 people without any security checks or visas, Pakistan was certainly part of undivided British India, and Modi has shown Pakistanis a mirror, and they should not take offence. One interesting point to note is that Pakistan this month did send a small CubeSat satellite on China’s Change’-6 lunar mission, which took images of the far side of the Moon and collected magnetic field data, but the entire mission was choreographed and executed by Chinese space scientists.
In the social media videos, Pakistanis were seen asking why not a single Pakistani was shown sitting in the Space Mission Control Room. The moot point is, Pakistanis do admit that India has advanced at a tremendously fast pace during Modi’s 10-year-rule. Some of them even said that they wished they had a leader like Modi, because India has left Pakistan far behind in development. Most of the Pakistanis said they liked my mega-election show with Modi and watched the PM’s replies with eagerness. However, there are some points to note.
Rulers and politicians in Pakistan oppose Modi in public, but the general public in Pakistan adores Modi’s style of working. Pakistani leaders, notably ex-minister Fawad Chaudhry, praise Rahul Gandhi on social media, and pray that Congress returns to power in this election. But the general public in Pakistan have nothing to say about India’s opposition leaders. A few years ago, the late Pakistani journalist Tareq Fateh, who was living in exile in Canada, told me on ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show that Pakistan’s atom bombs contain nothing but ‘faludaa’. The general Pakistani public makes fun of their rulers whenever the issue of Chandrayaan-3’s achievement comes up. They make jokes about their own rulers.

छठे दौर के मतदान से ठीक पहले चुनाव में हिन्दू मुसलमान बड़ा मुद्दा बन गया है. शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस राम मंदिर का विरोध करती है, समान नागरिक संहिता के खिलाफ है, क्योंकि कांग्रेस देश में मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ ( शरीया) लागू करना चाहती है. हिमाचल और पंजाब की रैलियों में मोदी ने कांग्रेस पर देश में शरीया लागू करने के मंसूबे पालने का इल्जाम लगाया. मोदी ने कहा कि राम मंदिर बनने से, रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा होने से पूरा देश खुश है, लेकिन कांग्रेस दुखी है, कांग्रेस को अपने वोटबैंक की चिंता है. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस CAA के खिलाफ है, UCC का भी विरोध कर रही है, क्योंकि वो देश में शरीया लागू करना चाहती है. मोदी ने अपनी बात नरम तरीके से कही, लेकिन योगी आदित्यनाथ ने खुलकर कहा कि कांग्रेस औऱ उसके साथियों के मंसूबे खतरनाक हैं, ये लोग मुसलमानों को सिर्फ आरक्षण नहीं देना चाहते बल्कि देश में पर्सनल लॉ लागू करना चाहते हैं, कांग्रेस और समाजवादी पार्टी के लोग चाहते हैं बेटियां बुर्का पहन कर घर से निकलें लेकिन हिन्दुस्तान इस तरह की साजिशों को कभी सफल नहीं होने देगा. आजमगढ़ में शनिवार को वोटिंग थी, धर्मेन्द्र यादव समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार हैं. धर्मेन्द्र यादव ने जवाब दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि मुसलमानों को आरक्षण देना क्या गलत है? संसद ने इसे माना है तो ये असंवैधानिक कैसे हुआ? धर्मेंद्र यादव ने कहा कि बीजेपी का काम सिर्फ नफरत फैलाना है, असली मकसद हिन्दूओं और मुसलमानों को लड़ाकर चुनाव में फायदा उठाना है. केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह ने धर्मेंद्र यादव को जवाब दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि धर्म के नाम पर आरक्षण देने की इजाजत संविधान में नहीं है, मुस्लिम आरक्षण अब पूरे देश से खत्म होना चाहिए, ये हिन्दुओं पर प्रहार है. पिछड़ों, दलितों और आदिवासियों को भी अब इंडी अलायंस के इरादे को समझ कर एकजुट होना चाहिए,वरना ये लोग भारत को पाकिस्तान बना देंगे. एनसीपी के संस्थापक शरद पवार ने कहा कि उन्होंने महाराष्ट्र में मुसलमानों को बीस साल पहले आरक्षण दे दिया था. आरजेडी नेता तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा कि मोदी, अमित शाह और योगी सिर्फ और सिर्फ मुसलमान-मुसलमान करते रहते हैं क्योंकि वो मंहगाई पर बोलना नहीं चाहते. बिहार और झारखंड की रैलियों में गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और INDI अलायन्स में शामिल पार्टियों के एजेंडा में मुस्लिम आरक्षण सबसे ऊपर है. इस मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चे में शामिल पार्टियां दलितों, पिछड़ों और आदिवासियों का आरक्षण छीनकर मुसलमानों को देने की साजिश कर रहे हैं. अमित शाह ने कहा कि बंगाल में ममता बनर्जी ने इसकी कोशिश भी की लेकिन हाईकोर्ट ने कामयाब नहीं होने दी. जवाब में ममता ने कहा कि बीजेपी जानबूझ कर चुनाव में हिन्दू मुसलमान की बात कर रही है क्योंकि बीजेपी को हार का डर है, बंगाल में जिन मुसलमानों को आरक्षण मिलता था वो मिलता रहेगा. बंगाल के मथुरापुर और जयनगर में रैलियों को संबोधित करते हुए ममता बनर्जी ने दोनों जगह हाईकोर्ट के आदेश का ज़िक्र किया. ममता ने कहा कि अभी कोर्ट में गर्मियों की छुट्टियां चल रही हैं, जैसे ही कोर्ट खुलेगा, उनकी सरकार इस आदेश को चुनौती देगी. ममता बनर्जी ने आरोप लगाया कि कई जज राजनीतिक प्रभाव में आकर फैसले दे रहे हैं लेकिन वो मुसलमानों का हक़ किसी कीमत पर किसी को छीनने नहीं देंगी. शरद पवार और इंडी अलायंस के नेता ऐसी बातें क्यों कहते हैं, इसे योगी ने समझाया. योगी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और उसके साथी पहले मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण का काम चुपचाप करते थे, लेकिन अब खुलकर बोलने लगे हैं. महाराजगंज की रैली में योगी ने कहा कि कर्नाटक और आन्ध्र प्रदेश की बात तो पुरानी है, लेकिन पश्चिम बंगाल का मामला तो ताज़ा है, बंगाल में ममता सरकार ने मुसलमानों को धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण देने की कोशिश की लेकिन हाईकोर्ट के कारण वो कामयाब नहीं हो पाईं. शनिवार को छठे राउंड की वोटिंग में आठ राज्यों की 58 सीटों पर वोटिंग हुई. इनमें से 14 सीटें उत्तर प्रदेश की हैं. पिछले चुनाव में इन 14 में से बीजेपी ने 13 सीटें जीतीं थी. आजमगढ़ की सीट पर अखिलेश यादव जीते थे लेकिन उपचुनाव में ये सीट बीजेपी ने छीन ली थी. निरहुआ ने धर्मेंन्द्र यादव को हराया था. इस बार फिर से दोनों के बीच मुकाबला है. इस बार समाजवादी पार्टी ने आजमगढ में मुस्लिम वोट बंटने से रोकने की कोशिश की है. पिछले चुनाव में बहुजन समाज पार्टी के टिकट पर लड़ने वाले गुड्डू जमाली को अपने साथ ले लिया और मुस्लिम वोट के इसी चक्कर में ही पोलिंग से एक दिन पहले अब धर्मेन्द्र मुस्लिम आरक्षण को खुलकर समर्थन कर रहे हैं. जहां तक शरद पवार के बयान का सवाल है तो महाराष्ट्र की सभी सीटों पर वोट पड़ चुके है. जब तक वोटिंग हो रही थी, तब तक शरद पवार खामोश रहे लेकिन वो जानते हैं कि अब बोलने से महाराष्ट्र में उन्हें तो कोई नुकसान नहीं होगा, लेकिन दूसरे राज्यों में सहयोगी दलों को फायदा हो सकता है. इसीलिए अब शरद पवार भी खुल कर बता रहे हैं कि उन्होंने तो महाराष्ट्र में 20 साल पहले ही मुसलमानों को आरक्षण दे दिया था. यही हाल ममता बनर्जी का है. शनिवार को बंगाल की जिन आठ सीटों पर वोटिंग हुई, उनमें से 5 सीटें पिछले चुनाव में बीजेपी ने जीती थी. ममता की पार्टी को सिर्फ तीन सीटें मिली थी. इसीलिए वोटिंग से एक दिन पहले ममता ने शुक्रवार को फिर कहा कि बंगाल में मुसलमानों को जो आरक्षण मिलता था, वो मिलता रहेगा.वो हाईकोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाएंगी. अब ममता की कोशिश है कि किसी भी कीमत पर बंगाल में बीजेपी को रोका जाए. बंगाल में मोदी और ममता की तकरार में लाइन बिल्कुल साफ है. ममता अपने मुस्लिम वोट बैंक को गोलबंद रखने के लिए मुसलमानों को आरक्षण देने की बात करती हैं. दूसरी तरफ बंगाल में मोदी और योगी हिंदुओं को ममता की ऐसी ही नीतियों की याद दिला रहे हैं. वे ममता के “जय श्री राम” के नारे से चिढ़ने की बात बताते हैं, मुहर्रम के ताजियों को निकलने देने के लिए दुर्गा की प्रतिमाओं के विसर्जन पर लगी रोक के बारे में याद दिला रहे हैं.
Should there be reservation for Muslims on religious grounds?
With Calcutta High Court nullifying all OBC certificates issued by West Bengal government between 2010 and 2024, and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee preparing to challenge the verdict in apex court after summer vacation, the issue of reservation, particularly for minorities, has taken centrestage in the current general elections. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, in their election rallies on Friday, alleged that the Congress wants to implement ‘Shariat’ (Muslim personal laws) in the country and reduce quotas for SC, ST and OBCs in order to give reservation to Muslims. Yogi Adityanath even alleged that the Congress and INDI alliance parties want to implement Taliban laws by asking women to come out of their homes wearing ‘burqa’. Addressing rallies in Jharkhand and Bihar, Home Minister Amit Shah alleged that Muslim reservation is on the top of the agenda of Congress and INDI alliance parties. “They tried to implement Muslim reservation in Bengal, but the High Court nullified their measures”, Amit Shah said. In reply, Mamata Banerjee vowed to continue reservation for “Backward Muslim castes”. Samajwadi Party leader Dharmendra Yadav said, there was no harm in giving reservation to Muslims, while Nationalist Congress Party founder Sharad Pawar claimed that he had given reservation to Muslims in Maharashtra nearly 20 years ago. On his part, Prime Minister Modi pledged that his government would implement uniform civil code and Citizenship Amendment Act during his third term. Union Minister Giriraj Singh emphatically said, there is no provision in the Constitution for providing reservation on grounds of religion, and hence, all reservation given to backward Muslim castes must end. “Hindus”, he said, “must unite, otherwise INDIA alliance parties will convert Bharat into another Pakistan”. The Muslim reservation issue has cropped up on the eve of the last two rounds of polling. This has been evident mostly in Muslim-dominated constituencies like Azamgarh. Smajwadi Party candidate in Azamgarh, Dharmendra Yadav is openly supporting Muslim reservation. As far as Sharad Pawar is concerned, polling is already over in all Maharashtra constituencies. Pawar was silent on Muslim reservation issue till the time voting in Maharashtra was going on. Pawar knows that since all the votes have been cast in Maharashtra, raising the issue of Muslim reservation will not harm his alliance’s prospects in Maharashtra, where Maratha reservation seems to be a bigger issue. In Bengal, chief minister Mamata Banerjee has vowed to continue with Muslim reservation, and challenge the Calcutta High Court verdict that struck down the OBC list, describing it as “unlawful”. Out of a total of 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal, votes have already been cast in 25 constituencies, and polling remains in 17 seats. The eight constituencies that went to polls on Saturday were earlier Mamata Banerjee’s strongholds, but in 2019, her party had lost five of them to BJP. Mamata wants to stop BJP’s advance in Bengal at all costs by consolidating her Muslim vote banks. The political faultlines in Bengal have now been clearly demarcated between Modi and Mamata. The Trinamool chief wants to keep her Muslim vote banks intact, and she has even gone to the extent of blaming NGOs like Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha as working for BJP. On the other hand, Modi has vowed to oppose reservation for Muslims. BJP leaders in Bengal have gone to town, telling voters how Mamata government tried to prevent Durga idol immersions in order to allow Muharram tazia processions.
मोदी का वार : केजरीवाल कमज़ोर विकेट पर
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कांग्रेस और इंडी अलायन्स पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा हमला किया. दिल्ली की रैली में बुधवार को मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और इंडी अलायन्स के लोगों ने वोट के चक्कर में तुष्टिकरण की हद पार कर दी है. मोदी ने इंडी अलायंस को खान मार्केट गैंग बताया. नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि खान मार्केट गैंग न सिर्फ दलित, पिछड़ों, आदिवासियों का आरक्षण छीनकर मुसलमानों को देना चाहता है, बल्कि ये लोग देश की संपत्ति वक्फ बोर्ड को देना चाहते हैं, खेलों में धर्म के आधार पर खिलाड़ियों का चय़न करना चाहते हैं, बैंक कर्ज़ धर्म के आधार पर देना चाहते हैं, देश के बजट का 15 परसेंट हिस्सा अपने वोट बैंक को देना चाहते हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि जब वो इस हकीकत को देश के सामने रखते हैं, तो उन पर हिन्दू-मुसलमान की राजनीति करने का इल्जाम लगाया जाता है लेकिन ” मोदी को वोट की नहीं, देश की चिंता है”, इसलिए वो हकीकत बयां करते रहेंगे. इंडी अलायन्स के मंसूबों को एक्सपोज़ करते रहेंगे. मोदी ने 1984 में दिल्ली में सिख विरोधी दंगों की बात की, कांग्रेस और केजरीवाल पर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों का मुद्दा उठाया. दूसरी तरफ अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मोदी जनता का ध्यान भटकाने की कितनी भी कोशिश कर लें, लेकिन 4 जून को इंडी एलायन्स की सरकार ही बनेगी. दिल्ली में 25 मई को वोटिंग होनी है. इसलिए मोदी ने बुधवार को दिल्ली में दो रैलियां की. इन रैलियों में मोदी अलग रंग में दिखाई दिए. उन्होंने कांग्रेस के माने में क्या क्या हुआ, दिल्ली के लोगों ने कैसी-कैसी मुसीबतें झेली और अब कांग्रेस और इंडी अलायन्स के लोग किस तरह की साजिशें रच रहे हैं, इसका पूरा ब्यौरा जनता के सामने रख दिया. मोदी ने कहा कि जब से उन्होंने देश की जनता को ये सच बताया कि कांग्रेस मुसलमानों को धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण देना चाहती है, तब से विरोधी दलों के नेता उनके पीछे पड़े हैं, उन पर हिन्दू-मुसलमान वाली सियासत करने का इल्जाम लगा रहे हैं लेकिन पीएम ने कहा, ” मोदी रुकेगा नहीं…डरेगा नहीं. सच्चाई को जनता के सामने रखेगा.” इसके बाद मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और इंडी अलायन्स में शामिल पार्टियों में तीन बातें समान है – सब के सब घोर सांप्रदायिक हैं, सब के सब घोर जातिवादी हैं और सब के सब घोर परिवारवादी हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि अब देश को नेशन फर्स्ट और फैमिली फर्स्ट वालों में से किसी एक को चुनना है. मोदी ने इसके बाद अपनी सरकार के काम गिनाए, कांग्रेस के साठ साल के शासन से उनकी तुलना की. मोदी ने दिल्ली के लोगों को सिख विरोधी दंगों की याद दिलाई. कहा कि एक तरफ वो लोग हैं जिन्होंने सिख भाइयों के गले में जलते टायर डाल कर उन्हें जलाया, दूसरी तरफ मोदी है जिसने दंगा करने वालों को जेल भेजा, उन्हें सजा दिलवाई. मोदी ने अरविन्द केजरीवाल की बात की. मोदी ने केजरीवाल का नाम नहीं लिया लेकिन कहा कि दिल्ली के लोग कट्टर भ्रष्टाचारियों को देख रहे हैं, जो ईमानदारी के वादे करके सत्ता में आए थे, अब उनके कारनामे देखकर अदालतें भी हैरान हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि इंडी अलायन्स के लोग देश के नागरिकों की संपत्ति का एक्सरे करना चाहते हैं, लेकिन अब मोदी इन लोगों की संपत्ति का एक्स-रे करेगा और देश की लुटी सम्पत्ति देश को लौटाएगा. उधर, अरविन्द केजरीवाल अपनी पत्नी सुनीता के साथ दिल्ली के मालवीय नगर इलाके में रोड शो कर रहे थे. रोड शो के दौरान केजरीवाल ने मोदी को जवाब दिया. कहा कि अब तो उन्हें पक्का यकीन हो गया है कि 4 जून को मोदी जाने वाले हैं, उन्हें हार का डर सता रहा है, इसीलिए असली मुद्दों पर बात करने की बजाए मंगलसूत्र की बातें कर रहे हैं. केजरीवाल ने कहा कि 4 जून को जब देश में इडी अलायन्स की सरकार बन जाएगी तो वो सबसे पहले दिल्ली को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दिलवाएंगे, दिल्ली में कानून-व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त करेंगे. दिल्ली में महिला सुरक्षा इस वक्त बड़ा मुद्दा है और मुख्यमंत्री के निवास में स्वाति मालीवाल के साथ मारपीट का केस चर्चा में हैं. अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने इस मुद्दे पर कुछ नहीं कहा. एक हफ्ते से वह इस मसले पर खामोश हैं. हालांकि उन्होंने PTI को दिए एक इंटरव्यू में सिर्फ इतना कहा कि दोनों पक्षों की तरफ से कई तरह की बातें कहीं जा रही हैं, इसलिए इस केस की निष्पक्ष जांच होनी चाहिए. इसके जवाब में स्वाति मालीवाल ने कहा कि उन्हें धमकाया जा रहा है, ट्रोल किया जा रहा है, उनका चरित्र हनन किया जा रहा है, मुख्यमंत्री आरोपी के साथ घूम रहे थे, उसे अपने अपने घर में बुला रहे थे, और अब कह रहे हैं निष्पक्ष जांच होनी चाहिए. इससे बड़ी विडंबना क्या हो सकती है? एक बात तो तय है कि स्वाति मालीवाल के साथ मारपीट का मुद्दा केजरीवाल को भारी पड़ेगा. कानूनी मुश्किलात तो होगी ही, सियासी नुकसान भी होगा. जहां तक केजरीवाल के इल्जाम का सवाल है कि मोदी अपने भाषणों में भावनात्मक मुद्दे उठा रहे हैं, तो केजरीवाल भी आजकल अपनी पत्नी सुनीता को साथ लेकर रोड़ शो कर रहे हैं, उनसे भाषण दिलवा रहे हैं जिसमें वो कह रही है कि अगर मोदी को वोट दिया, तो केजरीवाल को फिर जेल जाना पड़ेगा. ये भावनात्मक अपील नहीं तो क्या है? केजरीवाल कह रहे है कि मोदी मंगलसूत्र और मुसलमान की बात कर रहे हैं., तो केजरीवाल और इंडी अलायन्स के नेता भी कह रहे हैं कि मोदी आया, तो तानाशाही आएगी, संविधान खत्म हो जाएगा, दलितों, पिछड़ों और आदिवासियों का आरक्षण खत्म हो जाएगा. दोनों एक ही तरह की बातें हैं . असल बात ये है कि दिल्ली में 2013 से अरविन्द केजरीवाल की सरकार है. इस दौरान लोकसभा के दो चुनाव हो चुके हैं औऱ दिल्ली की सातों की सातों सीटें बीजेपी ने जीती. इस बार एक अंतर हैं. अब कांग्रेस औऱ आम आदमी पार्टी का अलायन्स है, दोनों मिलकर लड़ रहे हैं, लेकिन इस बार भी बीजेपी के लिए हालात मुश्किल नहीं दिखते क्योंकि अरविन्द केजरीवाल भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ आंदोलन करके सत्ता में आए और आज वो खुद रिश्वत के कई मामलों में फंसे हैं. शराब घोटाले के केस में केजरीवाल खुद 21 दिन की अन्तरिम ज़मानत पर हैं. इसके अलावा केजरीवाल ने उसी कांग्रेस से हाथ मिलाया है जिसके नेताओं को भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों में जेल भेजने के दावे करके सत्ता में पहुंचे थे. मोदी ने आज यही बात कही. इसलिए केजरीवाल भी जानते हैं कि इस बार वो कमजोर विकेट पर हैं.
MODI’S ASSAULT ON AAP : KEJRIWAL ON A WEAK WICKET IN DELHI
In one of his strongest attacks on Congress-led INDIA bloc, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday told an election rally in Delhi that INDIA bloc “is the symbol of all evils, like massive corruption and dynastic politics,” in the country. Taking a swipe at Congress and its ally Aam Aadmi Party, Modi said, “the oldest corrupt party has joined hands with the ‘kattar bhrashtachari’ (highly corrupt) party in Delhi”. Modi alleged that Congress and “INDI alliance” have crossed all limits of appeasement and they want to reduce reservation quotas of Dalits, Adivasis and Backward castes in order to help minorities. “The Khan Market Gang wants to give the nation’s property to Waqf boards, select sportspersons on the basis of religion and give bank loans to minorities. They want to give 15 per cent of the nation’s budget to their minority vote-bank”, Modi said. The PM said, whenever he talked about appeasement of minority vote-bank, he was blamed by the opposition for raising “Hindu-Muslim issue”, “but Modi is not worried aboout votes, he has the nation’s interest in mind and shall continue to expose the nefarious aims of INDI alliance”. Responding, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal alleged, Modi was trying to divert people’s attention from pressing issues and he was confident that INDIA bloc would form government at the Centre on June 4. Delhi is going to the polls on May 25. Modi reminded voters of what happened during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi. “Sikhs were burnt to death by putting burning tyres round their necks during the riots”, Modi said. The Prime Minister said, ‘Congress and “INDI alliance” have three points in common – they are highly communal, they are casteist and they are steeped in dynastic politics’. Modi did not name Kejriwal, but said, the voters of Delhi are watching the acts of “kattar bhrashtacharis” (highly corrupt leaders). “Even the courts are shocked on seeing evidences of their corruption…Modi will carry out a full x-ray of the assets of these people and restore the looted money to the nation”, he said. On his part, Arvind Kejriwal, along with his wife Sunita, took out a road show in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. Kejriwal said, “it is now almost certain that Modi will have to quit on June 4 and he is afraid of quitting. This is the reason why Modi is talking about ‘mangalsutra’ instead of real issues.” Kejriwal promised that Delhi would be granted full statehood after INDIA bloc government is formed after June 4. Kejriwal has been maintaining a studied silence on Swati Maliwal assault issue for the last one week, but, in an interview to a news agency, he said, this case should be probed impartially, since both sides are coming up with their own versions. On Wednesday, Swati Maliwal alleged that she was being threatened by AAP leaders and was also being trolled on social media. She alleged that she was being subjected to character assassination and the main accused was openly travelling with the Chief Minister. “The same chief minister is now saying there must be an impartial probe. There can’t be a bigger irony”, she said. The May 13 incident at the CM House, in which Swati Maliwal was allegedly assaulted, is going to cost Kejriwal heavily in the Delhi LS elections. It is going to cause political damage to hist party, apart from legal hassles. Kejriwal has been alleging that Modi is raising emotional issues in his campaign, but he is himself taking his wife Sunita in his road shows, making her to tell voters that if they voted for Modi, her husband will have to spend time in jail. If this is not emotional pressure, what else is? Kejriwal is alleging that Modi is trying to raise the Muslim bogey of Hindu women going to lose their ‘mangalsutras’, but the fact remains that Kejriwal and INDI alliance leaders have been saying if Modi retains power, India will face dictatorship, Constitution will be scrapped and quotas for Dalits, Adivasis and Backwards will end. These allegations and counter-allegations are on the same lines. The fact remains that Kejriwal has been in power in Delhi since 2013, two Lok Sabha elections were fought and in both elections, BJP swept all the seven parliamentary seats. There is one major difference this time. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are allies now in Delhi, and are fighting the Lok Sabha elctions jointly. Yet, the situation in Delhi does not seem to be difficult for BJP. The reason: It was Kejriwal who came to power by launching anti-corruption agitation, and now, he and his party are involved neck-deep in charges of corruption in liquor cases. Kejriwal himself is on 21 days’ interim bail till June 1. Secondly, Kejriwal has joined hands with Congress. It was Kejriwal who had been promising people of sending corrupt Congress leaders to jail, 10 years ago. Modi reminded Delhi voters about what Kejriwal had then said. The AAP chief knows, he is on a weak wicket this time.
