मुख्तार अंसारी की मौत पर ज़्यादा आंसू बहाने की ज़रूरत नहीं
गैंगस्टर से नेता बने मुख्तार अंसारी के शव को गाजीपुर के कब्रिस्तान में शनिवार को सुपुर्द-ए-खाक किया गया. मुख्तार की मौत किन परिस्थितयों में हुई, इसकी जांच होनी चाहिए. मौत की असली वजह पता लगनी चाहिए. ये नैसर्गिक न्याय का सिद्धान्त है .और हमारे कानून में इसका प्रावधान है…इसलिए जांच हो रही है. लेकिन जांच के बहाने मुख्तार अंसारी के प्रति सहानुभूति जताना, वोटों की राजनीति करना ये ठीक नहीं हैं क्योंकि चाहे अखिलेश यादव हों, या मायावती, दोनों के राज में मुख्तार अंसारी को संरक्षण मिला और उसने नियम कानून की जरा भी परवाह नहीं की . वो तस्वीरें कौन भूल सकता है कि जब 2005 में मऊ में दंगे हुए और मुख्तार अंसारी खुली जीप में बैठकर हथियार लहराता हुआ पूरे शहर मे घूम रहा था? उस वक्त तो मुलायम सिंह की सरकार थी. जब 2007 में मुख्तार जेल में था, तो दर्जनों गाडियों के काफिले के साथ मूंछों पर ताव देता हुआ डीजीपी के दफ्तर में पहुंचता था. उस वक्त मायावती मुख्यमंत्री थी. तब किसी को न्याय की फिक्र क्यों नहीं हुई. ? आज कांग्रेस के नेता मुख्तार अंसारी की मौत पर बयानबाजी कर रहे हैं लेकिन आज जो कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष हैं अजय राय, 1991 में उनके भाई अवधेश राय की हत्या मुख्तार अंसारी ने की थी.. 32 साल तक न्याय नहीं मिला., तब किसी ने आवाज क्यों नहीं उठाई?. इस केस में 32 साल के बाद योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार के वक्त पिछले साल मुख्तार अंसारी को उम्रकैद की सजा हुई. उसी केस में वो सजा काट रहा था. 2005 में मुख्तार जेल में था और उसके गुंडों ने एक- 47 से धुंधाधार फायरिंग कर के बीजेपी के विधायक कृष्णांनंद राय समेत सात लोगों की हत्या की. इस केस का एक मात्र गवाह बचा था, शशिकांत राय उसकी भी 2006 में हत्या करवा दी. ठेकेदार मन्ना सिंह हत्या करवाई. फिर इस केस में गवाह राम सिंह मौर्य की हत्या करवा दी. 1988 में दो पुलिस वालों पर फायरिंग करके हिरासत से भागा.. एएसपी पर जानलेवा हमला किया.जिस पुलिस अफसर ने मुख्तार अंसारी के गुंडों के कब्जे से ऑटोमैटिक राइफल जब्त की. उसने मुख्तार के खिलाफ पोटा कानून लगाया लेकिन मुख्तार का कुछ नहीं हुआ. उल्टे पुलिस अफसर को नौकरी छोड़नी पड़ी. मुख्तार जेल से बैठ कर मर्डर करवाता था. जेल में उसका राज चलता था. उसके लिए बैडमिन्टन कोर्ट और तमाम तरह की सुविधाएं थी. उसके खिलाफ 37 साल में हत्या, अपहरण, जमीनों पर कब्जे., वसूली के 66 मुकदमे दर्ज हुए. लेकिन किसी भी मामले में सजा नहीं हुई. जब योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार आई. तो एक मामले में पंजाब पुलिस उसे ले गई. और कांग्रेस की सरकार ने मुख़्तार को यूपी सरकार को सौंपने से इंकार कर दिया. सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक केस लडना पड़ा. उसके बाद उसे बांदा जेल लाया गया लेकिन बांदा जेल में भी उसने अपना कारोबार शुरू कर दिया. तब पुलिस वालों पर भी एक्शन हुआ. पिछले पांच साल में मुख्तार अंसारी को तीस तीस साल पुराने 8 मामलों में सजा हुई है. न्याय का सिलसिला शुरू हुआ था. उसे मालूम था कि वो जेल से छूटने वाला नहीं है और जेल में मिलने वाली सुविधाएं बंद हो गई हैं. इसीलिए परेशान, .बीमार था. 63 साल का था, शुगर का मरीज था…हार्ट की समस्या थी. इसलिए उसकी मौत चौंकाने वाली नहीं हैं. मुझे नहीं लगता कि इस तरह के हार्डकोर क्रिमिनल की मौत पर ज्यादा आंसू बहाने की जरूरत है. .लेकिन फिर भी जो लोग उसकी मौत की असली वजह जानना चाहते हैं. उन्हें इस मसले पर सियासत करने की बजाए ज्यूडिशियल मजिस्ट्रैट की जांच रिपोर्ट का इंतजार करना चाहिए.
MUKHTAR ANSARI : NO TEARS FOR THE DEATH OF A HARDCORE CRIMINAL
Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari was laid to rest in Ghazipur, UP, today in the presence of several thousand mourners. A huge contingent of police and armed forces was present to ensure that the funeral took place peacefully. There has been demands from several political parties for a top-level inquiry into the circumstances in which he suffered cardiac arrest in Banda jail and later died. The death must be probed and the real reason for his death must be made public. This will be in accoradance with the principles of natural justice and there are provisions in our law for this. Allegations have been made by Mukhtar’s family members that he was served food laced with slow poison in jail. But it will be unjustified to politicize the issue. As a gangster-turned-politician, Mukhtar Ansari got full protection during the regimes of Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati. He never followed rules and regulations. Who can forget that famous picture in which Mukhtar Ansari, in a jeep, holding a revolver and moving around the town after the 2005Mau riots. At that time, Mulayam Singh’s government was in power. In 2007, when Mukhtar was supposed to be in jail, he used to reach the office of DGP in a convoy of dozens of vehicles, twirling his moustache. At that time, Mayawati was the chief minister. Why didn’t anybody express apprehensions about the carriage of justice? Congress leaders are making remarks today on Mukhtar’s death, but it was Awadhesh Rai, the brother of current UP Congress chief Ajay Rai, who was brutally murdered in 1991 by Mukhtar Ansari’s henchmen. For 32 years, his family did not get justice. Why was no voice raised at that time? 32 years after the murder was committed, Mukhtar was sentenced to life imprisonment last year during Yogi Adityanath’s rule. In 2005, Mukhtar was in jail, and his henchmen murdered BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai and sic others showering bullets from AK-47 rifles. The lone witness to this mayhem, Shashikant Rai was also murdered in 2006. In contractor Manna Singh’s murder, the witness Ram Singh Maurya was also murdered. In 1988, he fled from police custody after firing on two policemen. The police officer who snatched an automatic rifles from Mukhtar’s men slapped POTA (Prevention of Terrorism Act) against him, but nothing happened to the gangster. Instead, the police officer had to leave his job. Mukhtar used to order murders while sitting inside jails. He had facilities like badminton court in one jail. There were 66 cases of murders, kidnapping, land grab and extortion against him, during the last 37 years. When Yogi Adityanath came to power, Punjab Police came and took Mukhtar away, but the Congress govt in Punjab refused to hand him over to UP police. UP government had to approach the Supreme Court, and ultimately he was brought to Banda jail, where he again resumed his criminal acts of ordering extortion and murder. UP police took action, and in the last five years, Mukhtar was convicted in eight cases which were nearly 30 years old. The process of justice had only begun. Mukhtar knew he would never be released from jail and the facilities that he hitherto enjoyed in jail, were withdrawn. He was worried, ill at the age of 63, he was suffering from sugar and heart problems. Hence, his death was not shocking. I don’t think there is any need to shed tear on the death of a hardcore criminal. For those who want to know the real cause of his death, they should wait for the judicial magistrate’s inquest report, instead of indulging in political mudslinging.
मुख्तार अंसारी : अपराधों से भरी एक ज़िंदगी का अंत
अपराध की दुनिया से राजनीति में आने वाले पूर्वांचल के मुख्तार अंसारी की गुरुवार रात को दिल का दौरा पड़ने से न्यायिक हिरासत में मौत हो गई. शुक्रवार को तमाम राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं ने अपनी-अपनी सोच के मुताबिक प्रतिक्रियाएं व्यक्त की. मुख्तार अंसारी के बेटे ने आरोप लगाया कि जेल में उनके पिता को धीमी ज़हर देकर हत्या की गई. बहरहाल राज्य सरकार ने अपर जिला मजिस्ट्रेट से कहा है कि वह बंदी मुख्तार अंसारी की मौत की परिस्थितियों की पूरी तरह जांच करके अपनी रिपोर्ट दें. मुख्तार अंसारी बांदा जेल के शौचालय में गुरुवार को बेहोश पड़े पाए गए थे, जिसके बाद उन्हें बांदा मेडिकल कालेज के सी.सी.यू में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उन्होने आखिरी सांस ली. मुख्तार अंसारी की मौत के साथ ही उनके आपराधिक जीवन पर पूर्णविराम लग गया है. अपनी जवानी के दिनों में मुख्तार अंसारी क्रॉसकंट्री दौड़ में पारंगत था, लेकिन सत्तर और अस्सी के दशक में उसने अपराध की दुनिया में कदम रखा और एक गिरोह में शामिल हो गया, जो कोयला, रेलवे निर्माण, कबाड़ की बिक्री, लोक निर्माण और शराब के ठेकों को हथियाने के लिए बाहुबल का इस्तेमाल किया करता था. इसके बाद मुख्तार का गिरोह लोगों से गुंडा टैक्स, वसूली कारोबार और फिरौती के लिए अपहरण जैसे अपराधों को अंजाम देने लगा. गाज़ीपुर, मऊ, वाराणसी और जौनपुर में व्यापारी और अन्य कारोबारी इस गिरोह के नाम से थर-थर कांपते थे. मुख्तार 2005 से जेल में कैद था और उस पर 65 से ज्यादा मामले लंबित थे. इसमें से 25 मामले तो तब बने, जब वो जेल में कैदी था. आठ मामलों में यूपी की कई अदालतों ने उसे सज़ा सुना दी थी. नवम्बर, 2005 में जब मुख्तार और उसके गिरोह के लोगों ने गाज़ीपुर में बीजेपी विधायक कृष्णानंद राय और 6 अन्य लोगों की दिनदहाड़े हत्या कर दी, तो मुख्तार का नाम राष्ट्रीय मीडिया में सुर्खियों में आया. पिछले साल एक सांसद-विधायक कोर्ट ने मुख्तार को कृष्णानंद राच की हत्या के आरोप में 10 साल कैद की सजा सुनाई थी. इस साल मार्च में एक नकली हथियार लाइसेंस के मामले में कोर्ट ने मुख्तार को उम्र कैद की सजा सुना दी. पिछले साल वाराणसी के एक कोर्ट ने कारोबारी अवधेश ऱाय की 1991 में हुई हत्या के आरोप में उम्र कैद की सज़ा सुनाई. अवधेश राय उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष अजय राय के बड़े भाई हैं. अजय राय इस बार वाराणसी में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के खिलाफ लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने वाले हैं. 1997 में कोयला कारोबारी नंदकिशोर रुंगटा के अपहरण और हत्या के मामले में भी मुख्तार आरोपी था. उसे 2019 में यूपी के बांदा से पंजाब की रोपड़ जेल भेजा गया क्योंकि बांदा जेल से किसी ने मोहाली के एक बिल्डर को फोन करके 10 करोड़ रु. की वसूली मांगी थी. मुख्तार दो साल रोपड़ जेल में रहा. 2021 में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में गुहार लगाई कि मुख्तार को यूपी वापिस भेजा जाय. तब मुख्तार को बांदा जेल लाया गया. मुख्तार अंसारी 5 बार विधायक चुने गये, दो बार निर्दलीय के रूप में, दो बार बहुजन समाज पार्टी के उम्मीदवार के रूप में, और पांचवी बार अपनी पार्टी कौमी एकता दल के टिकट पर. मुख्तार अंसारी और उनके दो भाई अफज़ल और सिबगतुल्लाह का पूर्वांचल के वोटरों में काफी रसूख है, लेकिन मुख्तार की मौत के साथ ही जरायम की दुनिया में सक्रिय एक जीवन पर पूर्णविराम लग गया है.
MUKHTAR ANSARI : CURTAIN FALLS ON A LIFE FULL OF CRIMES
The death of gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, while in judicial custody, due to cardiac arrest in Banda Medical College of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday night has led to political reactions across the spectrum. His son has alleged that the former gangster, convicted to life imprisonment in two cases, died due to slow poisoning but this allegation has been denied by the district administration. An additional chief judicial magistrate will conduct an inquiry into the circumstances leading to his death and submit the report within a month. Mukhtar Ansari was found unconscious inside the jail toilet in Banda, he was rushed to the medical college hospital’s CCU, where he took his last breath. With his death, a curtain has fallen on eastern UP’s most dreaded gangster, who had struck terror among the people for several decades. A cross country runner in his youthful days, Mukhtar Ansari took to crime in Ghazipur, after joining a gang that grabbed government contracts during the Seventies and Eighties. His gang was active in grabbing contracts for coal mining, railway construction, scrap disposal, public works and liquor business and it later branched out into collecting ‘goonda tax’, extortion rackets and kidnapping for ransom. Mukhtar Ansari’s gang was infamous for its criminal activities in Ghazipur, Mau, Varanasi and Jaunpur. In jail since 2005, Mukhtar Ansari had more than 65 criminal cases against him, out of which 25 cases were filed when he was in prison. He was convicted in eight cases by different courts of UP. He came into the national limelight when he and his gang members killed BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai and six others in Ghazipur in November, 2005. In April last year, Mukhtar Ansari was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment for killing Krishnanand Rai by an MP MLA court. This year in March, he was handed a life sentence in connection with a fake arms licence case.
Last year, a Varanasi court sentenced Mukhtar Ansari to life imprisonment for murder of a businessman-cum-politician Awadhesh Rai in 1991. Awadhesh Rai is the elder brother of UP state Congress chief Ajay Rai, who will contest Varanasi Lok Sabha election this year against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mukhtar Ansari was also an accused in the kidnapping and murder of coal tycoon Nand Kishore Rungta in Varanasi in 1997. He was shifted to Punjab’s Ropar jail from Banda in 2019, after an extortion call was made to a Mohali-based property dealer for Rs 10 crore from Banda jail. Mukhtar remained in Ropar jail for two years till 2021, when UP government moved Supreme Court seeking to bring him back to UP jail. Mukhtar Ansari was elected MLA in UP five times, twice as an independent, twice as BSP candidate, and the fifth time as his Quami Ekta Dal candidate. Mukhtar Ansari and his two brothers wielded tremendous clout in Poorvanchal region of UP, and with his death, a final curtain has been drawn on his eventful life.
सीटों को लेकर विरोधी दलों में कन्फ्यूज़न
बुधवार 27 मार्च लोक सभा चुनाव के पहले चरण के नामांकन दाखिल करने का आखिरी दिन था, लेकिन उत्तर प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र और बिहार में विरोधी दलों के बीच सीटों और उम्मीदवारी को लेकर भ्रम की स्थिति बनी हुई है. पहले चरण में यूपी की आठ सीटों पर वोटिंग होनी है. इनमें से रामपुर और मुरादाबाद की दो सीटों पर ज़बरदस्त सिय़ासी ड्रामा हुआ. अखिलेश यादव ने मुरादाबाद सीट पर अखिरी वक्त में उम्मीदवार बदल दिया. सांसद एस टी हसन ने मंगलवार को नामांकन दाखिल किया था, लेकिन बुधवार को अखिलेश यादव ने रूचि वीरा को पार्टी का चुनाव निशान देकर मुरादाबाद भेज दिया. उन्होंने भी नामांकन भर दिया. अब समाजवादी पार्टी के निशान पर दो दावेदार हो गए. हालांकि शाम को समाजवादी पार्टी ने साफ कर दिया कि रूचि वीरा ही अधिकृत उम्मीदवार होंगी. इसी तरह रामपुर में पहले आसिम रज़ा के चुनाव लड़ने की उम्मीद थी, वो तैयारी कर रहे थे, लेकिन बुधवार को आसिम रज़ा और रामपुर में समाजवादी पार्टी के जिलाध्यक्ष ने लोकसभा चुनाव के बाईकॉट करने का एलान तक कर दिया था. बुधवार को आखिरी वक्त में जैसे ही समाजवादी पार्टी ने मौलाना मोहिबुल्ला नदवी को नामांकन दाखिल करने के लिए भेजा तो आसिम रज़ा ने भी पर्चा भर दिया. अब रामपुर में भी समाजवादी पार्टी के दो उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं. रामपुर और मुरादाबाद दोनों सीटों पर पहले चरण में 19 अप्रैल को वोटिंग होनी है. समाजवादी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता कन्फ्यूज़्ड हैं. सवाल है कि ये कन्फ्यूजन किसने पैदा किया? क्या इस में जेल में बंद आजम खां का रोल है? क्या आजम खां के इशारे पर ये संकट पैदा हुआ? पहले मुरादाबाद की बात करते हैं. ढोल नगाड़ों के साथ एस टी हसन ने मंगलवार को पर्चा भरा था, जीत के दावे किए थे. चूंकि एस टी हसन मुरादाबाद से सांसद हैं, लेकिन इसके बाद भी अखिलेश यादव ने उनका टिकट लटकाए रखा, देर से टिकट दिया. एस टी हसन ने पर्चा भर दिया लेकिन रात में खेल हो गया. देर रात ये खबर आई कि मुरादाबाद से एस टी हसन का टिकट कट गया है. अब पूर्व विधायक रूचि वीरा समाजवादी पार्टी के टिकट पर लड़ेंगी. इस बीच रुचि वीरा लखनऊ से मुरादाबाद पहुंच गईं लेकिन रुचि के मुरादाबाद पहुंचते ही एस टी हसन के समर्थकों ने उनके खिलाफ नारेबाजी शुरू कर दी. इसके बाद अखिलेश यादव ने चार्टर्ड प्लेन से नरेश उत्तम और समाजवादी पार्टी के दूसरे नेताओं को मुरादाबाद भेजा ताकि हालात को काबू में रख सकें. रूचि वीरा मुरादाबाद में पर्चा भरने पहुंच गई, उनके साथ गिने चुने लोग थे, नारा लगाने वाले और पार्टी का झंड़ा उठाने वाले लोग भी नहीं थे. रूचि वीरा ने वक्त खत्म होने से पहले पर्चा भर दिया, समाजवादी पार्टी के चुनाव निशान वाला फॉर्म बी जमा कराया. पता ये चला कि एस टी हसन का पत्ता आजम खां के कहने पर कटा है. आजम खां सीतापुर जेल में बंद हैं लेकिन अखिलेश यादव को लगता है कि पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के मुस्लिम मतदाताओं पर अभी भी आजम खां का जबरदस्त असर है. आजम खां जेल में रहकर भी चुनावी समीकरण बना और बिगाड़ सकते हैं. इसीलिए अखिलेश यादव पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश की सीटों पर टिकटों के बंटवारे पर राय लेने के लिए सीतापुर जेल में आजम खां से मिले थे. आजम खां ने ही मुरादाबाद सीट पर एस टी हसन की जगह रूचि वीरा के नाम का सुझाव दिया जिसे अखिलेश ने मान लिया और रातों रात हसन का टिकट काट दिया. समाजवादी पार्टी के ज्यादातर नेता और कार्यकर्ता जानते हैं कि रूचि वीरा आजम खां की करीबी हैं, रुचि वीरा बिजनौर से सपा के टिकट पर विधायक रह चुकी हैं. ये तो कोई नहीं मानेगा कि रूचि वीरा एस टी हसन के मुकाबले बड़ी नेता हैं, उन्हें आजम खां की पैरवी पर ही अखिलेश यादव ने टिकट दिया. बाद में हसन ने कहा कि उन्हें नहीं मालूम ये फैसला कैसे हुआ, किसके कहने पर हुआ और उन्हें बताने की भी जरूरत नहीं समझी गई. हसन ने बड़ी महीन सियासी बात कही. उन्होंने कहा कि पूरा हिन्दुस्तान जानता है आजादी के बाद से अब तक जितने चुनाव हुए, उनमें एक बार छोड़कर मुरादाबाद से हर बार मुसलमान उम्मीदवार ही ही चुनाव जीता है. रामपुर में दिल्ली के संसद मार्ग मस्जिद के इमाम मौलाना मोहिबुल्लाह नदवी और आसिम रज़ा दोनों सपा की उम्मीदवारी का दावा कर रहे हैं. मौलाना को मंगलवार रात लखनऊ से आदेश मिला कि रामपुर पहुंचिए, रामपुर से पर्चा भरना है. मौलाना नदवी रामपुर के रहने वाले हैं लेकिन दिल्ली में पिछले 15 साल से रह रहे हैं. बुधवार को मौलाना ने पर्चा भर दिया. मौलाना नदवी ने कहा कि उनका नाम खुद अखिलेश यादव ने फाइनल किया है, उन्हीं के कहने पर उन्होंने अपना पर्चा भरा है. समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार वही हैं. इसके तुरंत बाद आजम खां के करीबी आसिम रज़ा भी पर्चा भरने पहुंच गए. उन्होंने भी पर्चा दाखिल कर दिया. अब फैसला तीस मार्च को पर्चा वापिस लेने के अंतिम दिन होगा कि कौन सपा का असली उम्मीदवार है. इस बात में कोई शक नहीं कि रामपुर पर एक लंबे अर्से तक आजम खान का कब्जा रहा है, वो रामपुर के चप्पे-चप्पे को जानते हैं..यहां के बच्चे-बच्चे को पहचानते हैं लेकिन अब मजबूर हैं. जेल में बंद हैं..उन पर सैंकड़ों केस हैं. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने रामपुर में उनका दबदबा खत्म कर दिया.रामपुर में आज़म खान के उम्मीदवारों को हरा दिया पर आज़म खान आसानी से हार मानने वालों में नहीं हैं. वो जेल में रहकर भी इस इलाके की सियासत पर खासा असर डाल सकते हैं. उनका ये सुझाव कि रामपुर से अखिलेश को लड़ना चाहिए, अच्छा था लेकिन अखिलेश इन चुनावों में एक-एक कदम फूंक-फूंक कर रख रहे हैं. अखिलेश के लिए ये चुनाव अस्तित्व का सवाल है. हालांकि वो आज़म खान की बात सुनते हैं लेकिन रामपुर से चुनाव लड़ने की बात नहीं मानी, इसीलिए इतना कन्फ्यूजन पैदा हुआ. दूसरी तरफ बीजेपी ने जबरदस्त चुनाव प्रचार शुरू कर दिया है. मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने मेरठ, मथुरा, गाजियबाद में प्रचार कर रहे हैं. 30 मार्च को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मेरठ से बीजेपी के चुनाव प्रचार का प्रारम्भ करेंगे.

महाराष्ट्र में भी मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चा बिखरता हुआ दिखाई दे रहा है. बुधवार को महाविकास अघाड़ी को पहला झटका प्रकाश आंबेडकर ने दिया. उन्होंने अलग चुनाव लड़ने का एलान कर दिया और 8 सीटों पर वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी के उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जारी कर दी. इसके बाद दूसरा झटका राजू शेट्टी ने दिया और कहा कि उनका स्वाभिमानी शेतकारी संगठन महाविकास अघाड़ी का हिस्सा नहीं बनेगा. वो भी अकेले दम पर चुनाव लड़ेंगे. इसके बाद सबसे जोर का झटका उद्धव ठाकरे ने दिया. उद्धव ने 17 सीटों पर अपनी पार्टी उम्मीदवारों की पहली लिस्ट जारी कर दी. इस लिस्ट में कई ऐसी सीटें हैं जिन पर शरद पवार की पार्टी और कांग्रेस भी दावा कर रही हैं. अभी तीनों पार्टियों में बात चल रही है लेकिन उद्धव ने फैसले होने का इंतजार नहीं किया, बिना किसी से बात किए अपने उम्मीदवारों के नाम जारी कर दिए. जिन सीटों पर उद्ध ने उम्मीदवार उतारे हैं, उनमें सांगली, नॉर्थ वेस्ट मुंबई और साउथ सेंट्रल मुंबई की सीट भी है. सांगली सीट से कांग्रेस वसंतदादा पाटिल के पोते विशाल पाटिल को उतारना चाहती थी लेकिन उद्धव के गुट ने चंद्रहार पाटिल का नाम घोषित कर दिया. साउथ सेंट्रल मुंबई सीट से कांग्रेस वर्षा गायकवाड़ को लड़ाना चाहती थी लेकिन उद्धव ने अनिल देसाई को टिकट दे दिया. मुंबई नॉर्थ वेस्ट सीट से कांग्रेस के संजय निरूपम दावेदारी कर रहे थे लेकिन उद्धव ने यहां अमोल कीर्तिकर को टिकट दे दिया. लिस्ट जारी करने के बाद संजय राउत ने कहा कि कांग्रेस भी अपने दस उम्मीदवारों के नाम जारी कर चुकी थीस ऐसे में अगर उद्धव टाकरे ने अपने उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जारी कर दी, तो कौन-सा गुनाह कर दिया? जैसे ही उद्धव की पार्टी की लिस्ट जारी हुई, सबसे पहले कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने ही नाराजगी जाहिर की. बाला साहब थोरात ने कहा कि जब बातचीत चल रही है, कोई फॉर्मूला नहीं निकला है, कुछ सीटों पर बात अटकी है, तो ऐसे में एकतरफा उम्मीदवारों का एलान ठीक नहीं हैं. बाला साहब थोरात ने कहा कि सांगली और मुंबई की सीटों पर उम्मीदवार का एलान करने से पहले उद्धव की पार्टी को कम से कम कांग्रेस के नेताओं को बताना तो चाहिए था. थोरात ने कहा कि इन सीटों पर कांग्रेस ने अपना दावा छोड़ा नहीं था, फिर बिना बताए उम्मीदवारों का एलान करना ठीक नहीं है, ये गठबंधन धर्म के खिलाफ है, उद्धव को अपने फैसले पर फिर से विचार करना चाहिए. उद्धव की पार्टी के सांसद अरविन्द सावंत से संजय निरूपम के बयान के बारे में पूछा गया तो उन्होंने कहा कौन संजय निरूपम? फिर प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी ने भी यही कहा कि संजय निरूपम हैं क्या? उनके पास कांग्रेस में कौन सा पद है? वो किस हैसियत से बोल रहे हैं? उनकी बातों का कोई मतलब नहीं हैं. प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी ने कहा कि संजय निरूपम की भाषा बता रही है कि वो बीजेपी में जाने की तैयारी कर चुके हैं. बड़ी बात ये है कि अब तक उद्धव ठाकरे और कांग्रेस का झगड़ा सुलझाने की कोशिश कर रहे शरद पवार भी उद्धव के कदम से नाराज हैं क्योंकि उद्धव ने उन सीटों पर भी उम्मीदवारों के नाम का एलान कर दिया जिन पर शरद पवार की पार्टी दावा कर रही थी. मुंबई नॉर्थ ईस्ट पर शरद पवार की दावेदारी थी लेकिन उद्धव ने संजय दीना पाटिल को टिकट दे दिया. इसके विरोध में शरद पवार की एनसीपी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया. पवार ने कहा कि शिवसेना को गठबंधन धर्म का पालन करना चाहिए था, बिना बातचीत एकतरफा एलान करने से बचना चाहिए था, अच्छा होता तीनों पार्टियां एक साथ मिलकर उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा करते. महाविकास अघाड़ी के अलायंस में बयानबाजी कमाल की है. उद्धव ठाकरे ने सीटों का एकतरफा एलान कर दिया. सहयोगी दल हैरान हैं पर संजय राउत कह रहे हैं कि जो हुआ, सबकी रज़ामंदी से हुआ. कांग्रेस की तरफ से संजय निरूपम ने सीटों के एलान पर नाराज़गी जताई तो शिवसेना के लोग कह रहे हैं कि संजय निरूपम होते कौन हैं? कांग्रेस मुंबई की सीटों की घोषणा को जल्दबाजी बता रही है तो संजय राउत कह रहे हैं कि अब हम नॉर्थ मुंबई सीट के उम्मीदवार का भी एलान कर देंगे. शरद पवार परेशान हैं कि उद्धव सेना ने गठबंधन धर्म का पालन नहीं किया लेकिन अनिल देसाई कह रहे हैं हम एक-दूसरे के विचारों का सम्मान करते हैं. मलतब साफ है – इस गठबंधन के नेता करते कुछ और हैं और कहते कुछ और हैं.
बिहार
मोदी-विरोधी मोर्चे का जो हाल महाराष्ट्र में है, वही बिहार में दिख रहा है. यहां भी सीट शेयरिंग का फॉर्मूला तय नहीं हुआ है लेकिन तेजस्वी यादव ने अपने उम्मीदवारों को टिकट बांटना शुरू कर दिया है. पांच दिन पहले जेडी-यू छोड कर आरजेडी में शामिल बीमा भारती ने कहा कि लालू यादव ने उन्हें पूर्णिया से चुनाव लड़ने को कहा है. पूर्णिया सीट पर पप्पू यादव दावा कर रहे हैं. पूर्णिया से चुनाव लड़ने के चक्कर में उन्होंने अपनी पार्टी को कांग्रेस में विलय तक करा दिया लेकिन RJD ने बीमा भारती को मैदान में उतारने का इकतरफा फैसला कर लिया. गुरुवार को पप्पू यादव ने कहा कि मैं आत्महत्या तक कर लूंगा लेकिन पूर्णिया छोड़ कर कही से नहीं लडूंगा. पप्पू यादव ने राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी पर अंतिम फैला छोड़ दिया. पूर्णिया सीट को पप्पू यादव ने प्रतिष्ठा का मुद्दा बना लिया है. लेकिन RJD और कांग्रेस के बीच कई और सीटों पर भी टकराव है. दरअसल RJD शुरू में कांग्रेस को बिहार में केवल 6 सीटें देना चाहती थी, लेकिन कांग्रेस ने पहले 15 सीटें मांगीं और बाद में कहा कि कम से कम 9 सीटें तो चाहिए ही. दिल्ली में मंगलवार को तेजस्वी यादव कांग्रेस के नेताओं से मिले थे कांग्रेस को कुल 8 सीटें – भागलपुर, मुज़फ़्फ़रपुर, बेतिया, सासाराम, किशनगंज, कटिहार, पटना साहिब और समस्तीपुर दोने को तौयार हो गए. लेकिन कांग्रेस पूर्णिया, औरंगाबाद और बेगूसराय पर भी दावा कर रही है. मुश्किल ये है कि इनमें से बेगूसराय सीट RJD ने पहले ही सीपीआई को दे दी है. बेगूसराय से कांग्रेस कन्हैया कुमार को उतारना चाहती थी. कन्हैया कुमार पिछले चुनाव में बेगूसराय से CPI के टिकट पर लड़े थे, हारे थे, फिर कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गए, लेकिन अब CPI कन्हैया कुमार के लिए ये सीट छोड़ने को तैयार नहीं हैं. इसी तरह औरंगाबाद सीट पर भी RJD ने अभय कुशवाहा को अपना चुनाव निशान दे दिया है, जबकि कांग्रेस की दावेदारी इस सीट पर भी है. इसीलिए झगड़ा बढ़ रहा है और अब आसानी से सुलझेगा, इसकी उम्मीद कम है.
CONFUSION IN OPPOSITION OVER SEAT SHARING
The opposition parties seem to be in a state of confusion over seat sharing and fielding of candidates in key states like UP, Maharashtra and Bihar. On the last day of filing of nominations for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, there was confusion in two key constituencies of Uttar Pradesh – Rampur and Moradabad , with rumblings in Samajwadi Party coming to the fore. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav changed the candidates in both the constituencies at the last minute, replacing sitting MP S. T. Hasan with Ruchi Vira in Moradabad, and fielding Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi in place of Asim Raza. There are now two candidates each from Samajwadi Party in both constituencies, and voting will take place on April 19. The rank and file of Samajwadi Party is confused. Senior party leader Azam Khan is presently in Sitapur jail. At least two candidates will have to withdraw their nominations by March 30 to allow the official SP candidate to contest on party symbol. Nadvi is the Imam of Delhi’s Parliament Street Jama Masjid. Though he hails from Rampur, he has been based in Delhi for the last 15 years. Ruchi Vira has already submitted the party’s symbol authorisation to the returning officer. S T Hasan was probably replaced at the instance of Azam Khan. Akhilesh Yadav had recently met Azam Khan in jail, and the latter had opposed Hasan’s candidature. Akhilesh feels that Azam Khan, despite remaining in jail, can change the voting equations in both these constituencies. Rampur is Azam Khan’s home constituency. Azam Khan had suggested that Akhilesh should either contest himself from Rampur or field anybody from Yadav community. Instead, Akhilesh fielded Maulana Nadvi. On Wednesday, soon after the maulana filed his nomination, Asim Raza too filed his papers. Asim Raza is Azam Khan’s confidante. When Azam Khan vacated his Rampur seat in 2022, Asim Raza contested the byelection, but he lost to BJP’s Ghanshyam Lodhi by 42,000 votes. This time BJP has again fielded Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi, while BSP has fielded Zeeshan Khan. On March 30, the last date of withdrawal of nominations, the official SP candidate will be known. Rampur has been Azam Khan’s stronghold since 2002. He knows each locality like the back of his hand, but presently he is in jail, serving a two-year imprisonment. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath cut him to size in Rampur assembly and LS byelection, and for the first time, in 2022, Azam Khan’s candidates lost. Azam Khan is a born fighter. He has several hundred cases against him and he is not going to admit defeat easily. He can still influence politics in Rampur and Moradabad despite staying behind bars. His advice to Akhilesh to contest from Rampur was a good one, but the Samajwadi Party supremo is careful this time. The Lok Sabha general elections will be a testing time for Akhilesh and for the existence of his party. Akhilesh does listen to Azam Khan’s advice, but the confusion was created when he did not accept his advice to contest from Rampur. Already, Yogi Adityanath has started campaigning in western UP. He will be visiting 15 districts to meet party workers and social influencers. In Meerut, he welcomed Ramayana serial actor Arun Govil, who is contesting on BJP ticket. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Lok Sabha poll campaign from Meerut on March 30.
MAHARASHTRA
There was anger and consternation in the Congress camp in Maharashtra on Wednesday when Shiv Sena (UBT) declared its list of 17 candidates even before the seat sharing formula among Maha Vikas Aghadi allies was finalized. The anti-Modi alliance in Maharashtra has thus split wide open, with Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and Raju Shetty’s Swabhimani Shetkari Sangathana deciding to contest elections separately. The 17 seats included Sangli, from where Congress wanted to field Late Vasantdada Patil’s grandson Vishal Patil, Mumbai South Central, where Congress wanted to field Varsha Gaekwad, but Shiv Sena (UBT) announced Anil Desai’s name, and Mumbai North West coveted by Sanjay Nirupam of Congress, but Uddhav decided to field Amol Kirtikar. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, since Congress has already announced names of 10 candidates, there was nothing wrong in Shiv Sena doing the same thing. He said, Uddhav Thackeray has left Ramtek and Kolhapur seats for Congress, and the formula is now final. Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat said, this was against “coalition dharma” since no formula has been agreed upon and Uddhav should reconsider his decision. Sanjay Nirupam alleged that Uddhav Thackeray is trying to “finish off” the Congress and the voters of Mumbai “ will teach Uddhav a lesson this time” . NCP chief Sharad Pawar is unhappy with Uddhav announcing the names of his candidates. NCP workers shouted slogans on Wednesday even as Pawar was busy in a meeting with party leaders for poll preparations. One is amused to hear the Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders speaking in different voices. Uddhav Thackeray announced his candidates, his allies are stunned, but Sanjay Raut claims this was done with the approval of all. Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam expressed annoyance, but Shiv Sena leaders questioned, who is Sanjay Nirupam? While Congress described Uddhav’s announcement as a step taken in a hurry, Sanjay Raut said, his party was going to announce its candidate’s name for Mumbai North too. Sharad Pawar is worried because Uddhav’s party is not following ‘coalition dharma’, but Shiv Sena leader Anil Desai claims, the alliance parties respect each other’s views. The conclusion is crystal clear: leaders of the opposition alliance say one thing in public, and do something else privately.
BIHAR
The same is the situation with anti-Modi alliance in Bihar over seat-sharing. RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav has already started distributing tickets to his party candidates. RJD ‘s Bima Bharti said, Lalu Yadav has given her the party symbol to contest from Purnea, but Pappu Yadav, who recently joined Congress, said, he would rather commit suicide rather than contesting from any seat other than Purnea. Pappu Yadav has now left the ball in the court of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi. Purnea will go to the polls on April 25. Bima Bharti was an MLA in JD(U) and she joined RJD five days ago. Pappu Yadav has made the Purnea nomination a prestige issue, but RJD and Congress are also locked in conflict over some other seats too. Earlier, RJD wanted to leave six seats for Congress in Bihar, though the latter had demanded 15 seats, and later scaled down its demand to nine. On Tuesday, Tejashwi Yadav met Congress leaders and offered eight seats – Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah, Sasaram, Kishanganj, Katihar, Patna Sahib and Samastipur – to Congress, but the latter is also demanding Purnea, Aurangabad and Begusarai seats. The problem is: RJD has already given Begusarai seat to CPI, but Congress wants to field Kanhaiya Kumar, who lost from Begusarai in the 2019 elections while contesting on CPI ticket. Kanhaiya later joined the Congress. This time, CPI is not ready to leave the Begusarai seat for Kanhaiya Kumar. RJD has already given the party symbol to Abhay Kushwaha for Aurangabad seat, but Congress is unwilling to yield. The conflict between RJD and Congress over seats is going to continue.
महिला सम्मान का मुद्दा इस बार चुनाव पर हावी रहेगा
नारी का सम्मान, मां-बहनों का स्वाभिमान, लोकसभा के चुनाव में बड़ा मुद्दा बन गया है. बुधवार को चुनाव आयोग ने कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत और भाजपा नेता दिलीप घोष को क्रमश: कंगना रनौत और ममता बनर्जी के बारे में किए गये आपत्तिजनक कमेंट को लेकर कारण बताओ नोटिस भेजा. इधर, प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने संदेशखाली में शेख शाहजहां के जुल्मों की शिकार रेखा पात्रा से मंगलवार को बात की. रेखा पात्रा को बीजेपी ने बशीरहाट से टिकट दिया है. मोदी ने कहा कि रेखा पात्रा शक्ति स्वरूपा हैं. बीजेपी ने उन्हें चुनाव मैदान में उतार कर महिलाओं के सम्मान की रक्षा के प्रति वचनबद्धता साबित की है. मोदी ने कहा कि संदेशखाली का सच जब सामने आया तो देश को पता लगा कि पश्चिम बंगाल में मां बहनों के साथ कितना अत्याचार हुआ है. ‘आज की बात’ में सोमवार को ही मैने कहा था कि बशीरहाट से बीजेपी की उम्मीदवार रेखा पात्रा महिलाओं पर जुल्म के खिलाफ लड़ाई का प्रतीक बनेंगी, मां बहनों का सम्मान सिर्फ बंगाल में नहीं पूरे देश में बीजेपी का बड़ा मुद्दा होगा. मंगवार को प्रधानमंत्री ने रेखा पात्रा से फोन पर बात करके यही संदेश दिया. संदेशखाली में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता शेख शाहजहां के जुल्मों की रौंगटे खड़ी करने वाले किस्से तो पूरा देश जानता है लेकिन इस जुल्म के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली, शेख शाहजहां के खिलाफ सबसे पहले पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवाने की हिम्मत दिखाने वाली, सामान्य सी महिला रेखा पात्रा को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने उसी इलाके से, बसीरहाट लोकसभा सीट से बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार बना दिया. रेखा पात्रा कभी पंचायत का भी चुनाव नहीं लड़ी, घरेलू महिला हैं, गरीब हैं, पढ़ी-लिखी भी नहीं हैंस उनके पास चुनाव लड़ने के संसाधान नहीं हैं, लेकिन मोदी ने उन्हें लोकसभा चुनाव में उतारा है. इसलिए अब पूरी पार्टी रेखा पात्रा का चुनाव लड़ रही है. मोदी ने खुद रेखा पात्रा से बात की. मोदी ने पूछा कि टिकट मिलने के बाद उन्हें कोई परेशानी तो नहीं हो रही? क्या संदेशखाली में महिलाओं को हिम्मत मिली है? क्या वो मां बहनों के सम्मान के लिए लड़ने के लिए तैयार हैं? रेखा ने मोदी को बताया कि हालात तो इतने खराब हैं कि उन्होंने 2011 के बाद कभी किसी चुनाव में वोट ही नहीं डाला. ये सुनकर मोदी भी हैरान रह गए. उन्होंने कहा कि वो चुनाव आयोग से अपील करेंगे और उन्हें पूरा भरोसा है कि चुनाव आयोग इस पर गौर करेगा, इस तरह के इंतजाम करेगा कि पश्चिम बंगाल में लोग बिना किसी डर या पक्षपात के अपनी मर्जी से वोट डाल सकें. मोदी ने रेखा पात्रा को भरोसा दिलाया कि वो किसी बात की चिंता न करें, बंगाल की जनता उनके साथ हैं, मां-बहनों का आशीर्वाद उनके साथ हैं और पूरी पार्टी उनके साथ है. रेखा पात्रा ने मोदी से एक बड़ी बात कही. उन्होंने बताया कि संदेशखाली की महिलाएं डरी हुई हैं. बहुत सी महिलाएं हैं जो परिवार की सुरक्षा के डर से उनके पक्ष में खुलकर नहीं बोल रही हैं. या कुछ महिलाएं ऐसी भी हैं जो तृणमूल कांग्रेस के गुंडों के डर से उनके खिलाफ भी बोल रही हैं, लेकिन वो इस बात का बुरा नहीं मानती. रेखा पात्रा ने कहा कि जो महिलाएं आज उनका विरोध कर रही हैं, भविष्य में वो उनको भी इंसाफ दिलाने के लिए लड़ेंगी. रेखा पात्रा की ये बात सुनकर मैं हैरान हूं कि संदेशखाली में 2011 से लोगों को वोट देने की आजादी नहीं है, उनके वोट चोरी कर लिए जाते हैं, इस बात का दुख ज्यादा इसीलिए है क्योंकि ममता बनर्जी ने “मां मांटी और मानुष” की बात करके ही पश्चिम बंगाल से लेफ्ट की सत्ता को उखाड़ा था. लेकिन अब ममता के राज में मां बेटियो के खिलाफ जुल्मों की जो खबरें आई, जमीनों पर कब्जे की जो हकीकत सामने आई, उससे ये संदेश तो गया कि बंगाल में न मां सुरक्षित है, न माटी और न मानुष. संदेशखाली में ममता ने जिस तरह से शेख शाहजहां को आखिरी वक्त तक बचाने की पूरी कोशिश की, उससे बीजेपी को मौका मिला और बीजेपी ने संदेशखाली को बड़ा मुद्दा बना दिया. बंगाल के लोग शक्ति के उपासक हैं, मां काली के भक्त हैं, वे कुछ भी बर्दाश्त कर सकते हैं लेकिन मातृ शक्ति का अपमान सहन नहीं कर सकते. इसीलिए मोदी ने मां बहनों पर जुल्मों के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली रेखा पात्रा को टिकट देकर ममता बनर्जी के लिए मुश्किल बढ़ा दी है. रेखा पात्रा चुनाव तो बशीरहाट से लड़ रही हैं, लेकिन इसका असर पूरे बंगाल के साथ साथ देश की सियासत पर पड़ेगा. ममता बनर्जी को भी पता है कि माता बहनों के साथ ज्यादती पार्टी के लिए भारी पड़ सकती है. इसलिए तृणमूल कांग्रेस इस मसले पर काउंटर अटैक कर रही है. मंगलवार को दिलीप घोष ने एक गलती की और तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने इसे बड़ा मुद्दा बना दिया. दिलीप घोष ने ममता बनर्जी के लिए गैरजरूरी और अपमानजनक बात कह दी. दरअसल दिलीप घोष को बीजेपी ने बर्धमान-दुर्गापुर सीट से मैदान में उतारा है. कीर्ति आजाद तृणमूल कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार हैं. दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि कीर्ति आजाद बाहरी हैं. चूंकि तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने नारा दिया है ‘बंगाल अपनी बेटी चाहता है’, नारा ये होना चाहिए, ‘बंगाल अपना भतीजा चाहता है’. यहां तक तो ठीक था लेकिन इसके बाद दिलीप घोष ने ऐसी बात कह दी जिस पर विवाद हो गया. दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि ममता जब गोवा जाती हैं तो खुद को गोवा की बेटी कहती हैं, त्रिपुरा जाती हैं तो त्रिपुरा की बेटी कहती हैं, उन्हें ये तय करना चाहिए कि उनके पिता कौन हैं. दिलीप घोष ने जो कहा वो गलत है. ममता बनर्जी ही नहीं, किसी भी महिला या किसी भी व्यक्ति के बारे में इस तरह के कमेंट नहीं होने चाहिए. राजनीति में चुनाव के दौरान एक दूसरे पर हमले होते हैं लेकिन ये व्यक्तिगत हों, किसी के परिवार पर सवाल उठाए जाएं, ये ठीक नहीं हैं. दिलीप घोष पुराने, जमीन से जुड़े नेता हैं. इस वक्त बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष हैं, बंगाल में बीजेपी के अध्यक्ष रह चुके हैं. इसलिए जब इतना बड़ा नेता अमर्यादित बात कहता है तो चिंता होती है. हो सकता है दिलीप घोष अपने कमेंट के लिए मांफी मांग लें लेकिन ये गलती करके उन्होंने महिलाओं के सम्मान पर बुरी तरह घिर चुकी तृणमूल कांग्रेस को पलटवार का मौका दे दिया. अब कंगना के बारे में सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के कमेंट पर फंसी कांग्रेस भी अपने बचाव में दिलीप घोष के बयान का हवाला देगी. कंगना पर कमेंट सुप्रिया को महंगा पड़ेगा. वैसे भी सुप्रिया श्रीनेत हर रोज सबको नैतिकता का पाठ पढ़ाती हैं, टीवी डिबेट्स में मीडिया पर बरसती हैं, कभी कभी अपनी महिला होने की बात कहती हैं, लेकिन सुप्रिया एक व्यक्ति नहीं है, वह कांग्रेस के सोशल मीडिया सेल की प्रमुख हैं. इसीलिए इसकी आंच कांग्रेस नेतृत्व तक जाएगी. भाजपा नेता बांसुरी स्वराज और नवनीत राणा ने पूछा है कि प्रियंका गांधी वैसे तो महिलाओं के अपमान पर खूब बोलती हैं, ‘ल़ड़की हूं, लड़ सकती हूं’ का नारा देती हैं, पर कंगना के बारे में किए गए अभद्र कमेंट पर वो अभी तक खामोश हैं. राहुल गांधी भी मोहब्बत की दुकान चलाते हैं लेकिन किसी प्रोफेशनल महिला पर इस तरह की अभद्रता पर वो भी चुप हैं. कांग्रेस सिर्फ ये कह कर नहीं बच सकती कि किसी ने सुप्रिया के अकाउंट्स से ये पोस्ट कर दिया. जो नेता सोशल मीडिया सेल की इंचार्ज हैं, उनके हैंडल से बिना उनकी अनुमति के कोई और पोस्ट कैसे डाल सकता है? इसलिए जब ये बात निकली है तो दूर तलक जाएगी.
WOMEN’S ISSUE WILL DOMINATE LOK SABHA POLLS THIS TIME
The issue of dignity and self-respect of women is gradually becoming a big issue in the Lok Sabha general elections. On Wednesday, the Election Commission of India issued notices to Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh for their comments against actor Kangana Ranaut and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee respectively. Supriya Shrinate is in the line of fire because a derogatory comment about Kangana Ranaut, BJP candidate from Mandi, was posted on her social media account and later withdrawn. Shrinate later clarified that somebody who had access to her account posted the comment. Dilip Ghosh, BJP candidate from Bardhaman-Durgapur in West Bengal, made a crass remark about Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee by questioning her paternity. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday dialled Sandeshkhali survivor and BJP Basirhat candidate Rekha Patra and spoke to her about her ordeals. It was Rekha Patra who led the protests against alleged sexual harassment of women and incidents of landgrabbing by Trinamool leader Shahjahan Sheikh in Sandeshkhali resulting in a nationwide uproar. Modi, in his telephonic talk, described Rekha Patra as “Shakti Swaroopa” (an embodiment of Mother Goddess). She told the Prime Minister that neither she, nor any woman in Sandeshkhali have not cast their votes in any election since 2011 due to the reign of terror unleashed by Shahjahan Sheikh and his goons. Shahjahan Sheikh is presently in CBI custody. It was on Rekha Patra’s complaint that police was forced to arrest Shibaprasad Hazra, a local goon from Shahjahan’s gang. Rekha Patra had staged protests with other women of Sandeshkhali. She carried her girl child on her waist during protests. Rekha Patra has not even contested panchayat elections. A poor, semi-literate housewife, she has no resources to contest, but Modi decided to field her as the BJP candidate from Basirhat. The party machinery will now be campaigning for her in Basirhat. Modi asked Rekha Patra whether she was facing threats after getting the BJP ticket, and whether the women in Sandeshkhali have gained courage after she had been fielded in elections. Modi assured her that the party would request the Election Commission to make full arrangements for her security and provide protection to voters so that they can cast their votes fearlessly. Modi told Rekha Patra not to worry as the people of Bengal and his party stood by her and she has the blessings of the women of Bengal. Rekha Patra told the PM that women in Sandeshkhali are still living in a state of fear, and many of them are unwilling to speak out openly for fear of retribution from the goons. I am surprised to know that voters in Sandeshkhali have not exercised their franchise since 2011 because of fear and that their votes have been stolen. I feel sad, more so because it was Mamata Banerjee who had uprooted three decades of Left rule in Bengal by giving the slogan “Maa, Maati, Manush”. The Sandeshkhali episode of sexual molestation and land grabbing has conveyed the message that neither Maa (women) is secure in Bengal, nor Maati (land) or Manush (people) are secure under her rule. The manner in which Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee tried to shield Shahjahan Sheikh and his goons has given BJP a big handle to raise the issue of women’s security. The people of Bengal are devotees of Maa Kali. They can tolerate everything but will never tolerate the insult to Maatri Shakti (Women Power). By fielding Rekha Patra as the party candidate from Basirhat, Modi has created problems for Mamata Banerjee in the Lok Sabha elections. Rekha Patra may be contesting from Basirhat, but it will have a cascading effect on voters across Bengal. Mamata Banerjee knows that excesses committed against ‘mothers and sisters’ of Sandeshkhali can cost the party dearly in the elections. Trinamool Congress is badly in search of a strong handle for counter-attack, and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh committed a blunder on Tuesday. Ghosh is facing Trinamool candidate ex-cricketer Kirti Azad in Bardhaman-Durgapur. On Tuesday, he described Kirti Azad as an outsider and said, since TMC has given the slogan, ‘Bengal wants its daughter’, the reality is that ‘Bengal wants her nephew’. Soon after, he made a remark about Mamata Banerjee. He said, “Mamata describes herself as the daughter of Goa whenever she visits Goa, she describes herself as the daughter of Tripura, when she goes to Tripura, she should decide who is her father.” What Dilip Ghosh said about Mamata is unacceptable. Such a crude comment must not be made against any individual, whether it is Mamata or any man or woman. In politics, people do launch verbal attacks in the heat of the moment, but making personal attacks about anybody’s family, is unacceptable. Dilip Ghosh is an experienced, grassroots politician. He has been the national vice-president of BJP, was the state BJP chief, and he represented Medinipur in the last Lok Sabha. When such a leader makes a derogatory comment, one should be worried. Dilip Ghosh may apologize for his comment, but it has already given a handle to Trinamool Congress and Congress. Congress leaders are now using Dilip Ghosh’s remark to protect Supriya Shrinate’s alleged remark about Kangana Ranaut. Supriya is already facing the heat and she claims that the social media comment against Kangana was not approved by her. Supriya has been hitting out at media during TV debates, but she must remember she is heading the social media cell of Congress party. The heat from this controversy is surely going to affect the Congress leadership. BJP leaders Bansuri Swaraj and Navneet Rana have already raised the question why Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who frequently speaks about atrocities on women, is silent on this issue. They are also asking why Rahul Gandhi, who speaks about ‘mohabbat ki dukaan’ is silent when a professional actor has been insulted. Congress cannot save its skin by saying that somebody posted the comment on Supriya’s social media account. Since Supriya is in charge of party’s social media cell, nothing can be posted without her permission. There is a famous lyric: ‘Baat Nikalegi Toh Door Talak Jayegi’.
कंगना विवाद : ये गलती कांग्रेस को भारी पड़ सकती है
सोमवार को कांग्रेस के लिए एक और मुसीबत हो गई. कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के सोशल मीडिया हैंडल से एक्ट्रेस कंगना रनौत के खिलाफ अभद्र कमेंट किए गए. इसका ज़बरदस्त विरोध हुआ. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने भी सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के कमेंट पर नाराज़गी जाहिर की. असल में बीजेपी ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के मंडी लोकसभा सीट से कंगना को टिकट दिया है और सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट से कंगना रनौत की एक तस्वीर के साथ कुछ भद्दी बातें लिखी गईं. हालांकि जैसे ही इस पर विवाद हुआ तो सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने ये पोस्ट हटा लिया, लेकिन उससे पहले ही सुप्रिया निशाने पर आ गईं. कंगना रनौत ने ट्वीट करके सुप्रिया श्रीनेत को जवाब दिया. कंगना ने लिखा कि ” एक कलाकार के नाते पिछले 20 साल में मैंने हर तरह की महिला के किरदार निभाए हैं…फिल्म क्वीन में नादान लड़की से लेकर धाकड़ मूवी में seductive spy बनी थी, फिल्म मणिकर्णिका में देवी बनी तो चंद्रमुखी में एक demon के तौर पर नजर आई…हर महिला सम्मान की हकदार है…उसकी गरिमा का ख्याल रखना चाहिए. ” इसके बाद सुप्रिया श्रीनेत सामने आईं और कहा कि ये पोस्ट उन्होंने नहीं डाली थी, उनके सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट कई लोग हैंडल करते हैं, उनमें से किसी एक ने ये काम किया है. वो कभी किसी महिला के सम्मान पर हमला नहीं कर सकती. सुप्रिया श्रीनेत अब सफाई दे रही हैं लेकिन इससे बात नहीं बनेगी क्योंकि उनके सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट से कंगना रनौत के बारे में जिस तरह का कमेंट किया गया उसे किसी भी तरह से जस्टिफाई नहीं किया जा सकता. ये गलत था और सुप्रिया श्रीनेत की ये गलती कांग्रेस को भारी पड़ सकती है. हालांकि ये सही है कि कंगना और विवाद अक्सर साथ साथ चलते हैं. अभी सियासत में उनकी एंट्री हुई है. मंडी सीट पर जो समीकरण है, उन्हें देखकर लगता है कि मोदी के नाम पर कंगना जीत तो जाएंगी पर उसके बाद भी विवाद खड़े होते रहेंगे । क्योंकि वो बोलने में कभी पीछे नहीं रहती.

KANGANA CONTROVERSY MAY COST THE CONGRESS HEAVILY
An unseemly controversy has arisen over a derogatory comment made by Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate against actor Kanagana Ranaut, who has been fielded by BJP as its candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The National Commission for Women has written to the Election Commission to take stringent action and file a police case against Shrinate over the “dirty language” allegedly used by her, which amounts to character assassination. “A woman can wear whatever she wants”, said NCW chief Rekha Sharma. BJP has demanded dismissal of Shrinate as Congress spokesperson. On her part, Shrinate wrote on social media that “somebody who had access to my Facebook and Insta accounts posted a disgusting and objectionable post. As soon as I came to know about this, I removed that post. Anyone who knows me well, understands that I never make personal remarks about any woman”. In reply, Kangana wrote on social media that in the last 20 years of her career, she had played all kinds of roles as a woman..”From a naive girl in Queen to a seductive spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivii. We must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudices, we must rise above the curiousity about their body parts and we must refrain from using sex workers’ challenging lives or circumstances as some kind of abuse of slur..every woman deserves her dignity.” The comment posted against Kangana on Supriya Shrinate’s social media account cannot be justified by any means. This was highly improper. Supriya Shrinate’s mistake can cost the Congress heavily. It is true that Kangana and controversy more often go together, and she has made her entry into politics now. Looking at the political equations in Mandi constituency, Kangana may win in the name of Prime Minister Modi, but controversies may continue in future, because she never refrains from speaking out on issues.
क्या केजरीवाल जेल से मुख्यमंत्री का काम कर पाएंगे ?
शराब घोटाले के केस में कोर्ट ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल को 6 दिन के लिए एन्फोर्समेंट डाय़रेक्ट्रेट के रिमांड में भेज दिया. केजरीवाल अब 28 मार्च तक ED की कस्टडी में रहेंगे. केजरीवाल की तरफ से कई वकीलों ने दलीलें रखीं, केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी का आधार पूछा, केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी को चुनावी सियासत का नतीजा बताया लेकिन शुक्रवार को पहली बार ED ने कोर्ट को बताया कि शराब घोटाले के मास्टर माइंड अरविन्द केजरीवाल हैं. अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने ही शराब व्यापारियों को फायदा पहुंचाने वाली liquor पॉलिसी बनाई. इस पॉलिसी से करीब 600 करोड़ का मुनाफा कमाया गया. इसमें से 100 करोड़ रूपए किकबैक के तौर पर आम आदमी पार्टी को मिले. इसमें से पैंतालीस करोड़ रूपए गोवा के चुनाव में खर्च हुए. इसके सबूत ED के पास हैं.ED ने शराब घोटाले की सारी कड़ियां जोड़कर अदालत के सामने रख दीं. चन्द्रशेखर राव की बेटी के. कविता के बयान का हवाला दिया. इस केस में के. कविता को पहले ही गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है और शुक्रवार को ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कविता की जमानत की अर्जी ये कह कर खारिज दी कि उन्हें ट्रायल कोर्ट में अपील करनी चाहिए. कोर्ट में ED ने कहा कि शराब घोटाले की साजिश बहुत सावधानी और चालाकी से रची गई, जिन मोबाइल फोन्स का बातचीत या मैसेजिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया, उन फोन्स को नष्ट कर दिया गया लेकिन कुछ आरोपियों के फोन से मैसेज मिले हैं जिनसे पता चलता है कि शराब घोटाले के 45 करोड़ रूपए गोवा चुनाव में हवाला के जरिए भेजा गया. जिन उम्मीदवारों को पैसा पहुंचाया गया, वो भी बयान देने को तैयार हैं. ED ने कोर्ट को बताया कि इस मामले में केजरीवाल के अलावा के. कविता,विनय नायर, समीर महेन्द्रू, दिनेश अरोड़ा का क्या क्या रोल था. अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने इस केस को चुनावी राजनीति से जोड़कर केजरीवाल की रिमांड का विरोध किया लेकिन कोर्ट ने दस्तावेज देखने के बाद केजरीवाल को 6 दिन के लिए ED की कस्टडी में भेज दिया.. अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने केजरीवाल के वकील के तौर पर आज कोर्ट में जो दलीलें रखीं, वो कारगर साबित नहीं हुई. ED ने दस्तावेज और जो सबूत अदालत को दिखाए, वो सिंघवी की दलीलों पर भारी पड़ी. ED ने कोर्ट में जो खुलासे किए वो हैरान करने वाले हैं. केजरीवाल मुख्यमंत्री हैं, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने पास कोई मंत्रालय नहीं रखा, किसी फाइल पर उनके साइन नहीं हैं. इसलिए ED के लिए इस मामले में सबूत इकट्ठे करना, कडिय़ों को जोड़ना बहुत मुश्किल था.अब ED को केजरीवाल की कस्टडी मिल गई है लेकिन अब ED के सामने अदालत में अपने आरोपों को साबित करना बड़ी चुनौती होगी .और जब तक ये साबित नहीं हो जाता तब तक केजरीवाल की पार्टी के नेता शराब घोटाले को बीजेपी की सियासी साजिश बताएंगे. पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने जमकर प्रदर्शन किया. मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान और उनकी कैबिनेट के तमाम मंत्री दिल्ली पहुंच गए. चंडीगढ़, मोहाली, पटियाला, लुधियाना और संगरूर में केजरीवाल के समर्थन में प्रदर्शन हुए. आम आदमी पार्टी केजरीवाल ने बनाई. अब तक केजरीवाल ने ही चलाई और तीन-तीन बार केजरीवाल ने ही दिल्ली के चुनाव में पार्टी को जीत दिलाई य इसीलिए आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता और नेता ये सोच भी नहीं सकते कि केजरीवाल की अनुपस्थिति में पार्टी कैसे चलेगी, दिल्ली की सरकार कैसे चलेगी. हालांकि सार्वजनिक तौर पर अब तक आम आदमी पार्टी का स्टैंड यही रहा है कि केजरीवाल को अगर जेल जाना पड़ा तो भी वो मुख्यमंत्री पद नहीं छोड़ेंगे, ना ही पार्टी के संयोजक पद से इस्तीफा देंगे. वो जेल से ही पार्टी और सरकार दोनों चलाएंगे लेकिन ये व्यावहारिक रूप से सम्भव नहीं है. हाईकोर्ट में एक PIL फाइल की गई है जिसमें गिरफ्तारी के बाद केजरीवाल को तुरंत पद से हटाने की अपील की गई . पहले भी केजरीवाल ने मनीष सिसोदिया और सत्येन्द्र जैन से उनके जेल जाने के बाद बहुत दिनों तक इस्तीफा नहीं लिया था लेकिन जब मंत्रालयों के काम रूकने लगे तो इस्तीफा लेना पड़ा, सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी को मंत्री बनाना पड़ा. वैसे भी दिल्ली की सरकार चलाना टेढ़ी खीर है. यहां पर लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर मौजूद हैं. केंद्र सरकार के प्रतिनिधि के तौर पर LG के पास बहुत सारी powers हैं. तो जो सरकार जेल से बाहर रहकर चलाना मुश्किल है उसे केजरीवाल जेल से कैसे चला पाएंगे,ये बड़ा सवाल है. मेरी जानकारी ये है कि अगर जेल जाने के बाद भी केजरीवाल ने दो दिन तक इस्तीफा नहीं दिया तो LG उनसे इस्तीफा देने के लिए कहेंगे और हो सकता है ये एक बड़ी कानूनी लड़ाई छिड़ जाए.
CAN KEJRIWAL CONTINUE AS CM FROM JAIL?
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent on six days’ ED remand by a special court in Delhi on Friday after marathon hearing on the remand application.Kejriwal will now remain in ED custody till March 28. His lawyers, led by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi questioned his arrest and alleged that it was the result of election-related politics. Additional Solicitor General S V Raju, appearing for ED, described Kejriwal as the kingpin and mastermind the the Delhi liquor excise scam. He alleged that nearly Rs 600 crores were earned from privatizing Delhi liquor trade, out of which Rs 100 crore was given as kickback to Aam Aadmi Party. Out of this, Rs 45 crore kickback was used by AAP in Goa assembly elections. ED claimed that it had evidence of kickbacks being given and quoted K. Kavitha’s statement. K. Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, and she is presently in custody. The Delhi court was told by ED counsel that all cellphones used for passing on messages for transferring kickback money were destroyed when the scam came to notice. ED’s revelations in court are surprising and Abhishek Manu Singhvi’s arguments did not prove effective. Kejriwal is the chief minister, but he did not keep any departments with him, nor did he sign any of the crucial files. For ED, collecting evidences and joining the dots was a humungous task. Now that Kejriwal is in ED custody, it will be a a big challenge for ED to prove its allegations. Till the time the allegations are not proved, opposition parties including AAP will continue to allege that the arrest was part of a political conspiracy. In AAP-ruled Punjab, there were protests by AAP workers in Chandigarh, Mohali, Patiala, Ludhiana and Sangrur, while CM Bhagwant Mann came to Delhi with all his ministers. It is a fact that Kejriwal founded the Aam Aadmi Party, the party was being run by him, and it was Kejriwal who leaded the party to electoral wins in Delhi thrice. This is why the commong workers and leaders of AAP can never think how the party and government will be run in the absence of Kejriwal. Though publicly, AAP has taken the stand that Kejriwal will continue to remain as CM and AAP convenor even though he may be sent to jail, but this does not sounds practically possible. Already, a PIL has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking removal of Kejriwal from the post of CM after his arrest. When Manish Sisodia and Sayender Jain went to jail, Kejriwal did not take their resignations, but when daily file work of their departments faced obstacles, he had to take their resignations and make Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj as cministers. Running Delhi government is a complicated job, because of the presence of Lt. Governor, who acts as the Centre’s representative. The L-G has vast powers. How can Kejriwal run the government from jail? This is the big question. My information is that if Kejriwal does not resign after going to jail for two days, the L-G may ask him to resign, and this could trigger another legal battle.
