Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann was my guest this weekend in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ where he replied to a wide range of questions relating to his second marriage, his alcoholic bouts, the gruesome murder of singer Siddhu Moosewala, use of narcotics in Punjab, rise of separatist Khalistani elements and sundry other issues. Mann came to limelight in Punjab as a seasoned comedian and his popularity rose after he joined active politics. In the show, he also displayed his talent at singing Punjabi songs. OPPOSITION UNITY EFFORTS FACING OBSTACLES

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has convened a conclave of all opposition parties including Congress in Patna on June 23, but already his efforts at forging opposition unity are facing obstacles. Nitish’s ally Jitanram Manjhi, who heads Hindustani Awam Party, has walked out of the Mahagathbandhan, and Manjhi’s son has resigned from Bihar cabinet. In UP, Om Prakash Rajbhar is on the verge of joining NDA. He had a secret meeting with UP CM Yogi Adityanath recently. As head of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, Rajbhar has thrown a challenge to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav to at least try bringing BSP chief Mayawati, RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary in UP on a single platform and then speak about opposition unity. Congress has clearly said, it is not going to ally with Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Punjab, and AAP is free to field candidates against Congress anywhere in India. In reply, AAP has said Congress lacks leader, policies and ideas for future, and it copies AAP’s ideas of giving freebies in its manifesto. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann told me in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show that Congress is on the verge of extinction and it will become a part of fables and legends soon. He asked, how can a party which has ‘nil’ MLAs and ‘nil’ MPs in Delhi think of competing with AAP? Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has placed a condition for Congress. She has said that Congress must not ally with the Left, if it wants to be part of alliance with TMC. Mamata Banerjee has rejected any tie-up with the Left. With regional parties like TMC setting conditions, and small caste-based parties in Bihar and UP walking away from opposition unity efforts, Nitish Kumar’s aim for achieving unity among opposition parties may be difficult to achieve.

PANCHAYAT POLL VIOLENCE IN BENGAL

Reports of violence and bomb attacks are still coming in from West Bengal, which will be going for panchayat elections. In South 24-Parganas, a BJP worker’s house was attacked on Friday, while in Murshidabad, a local TMC leader was killed. Locally made bombs have been seized in Birbhum, Bhangar and South 24-Parganas. WB BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar, who visited the home of his party worker, compared the conditions of Bengal with Afghanistan. West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose visited South 24-Parganas and spoke to common people. He directed officials to take strong action against those indulging in violence. The visuals of violence that have come from Bengal, are really a shame for our democracy. Violence in Bengal during elections is not an extraordinary thing. Trinamool Congress leaders are trying to downplay such violent incidents. Mamata Banerjee is blaming Left, Congress and BJP for violence. It is surprising Mamata is naming Congress and Left parties, though she is supposed to attend the June 23 meeting of opposition leaders in Patna. Mamata is trying to corner Congress. Mamata Banerjee knows she is not going to leave any space for Left in Bengal at any cost. She seized power from the Left after a long struggle, facing bullets and lathis for decades. She does not want the Left to get oxygen in Bengal in the guise of opposition unity.

गुजरात में आये भयंकर तूफान से तबाही हुई है, हज़ारों बिजली के खंभे गिर गए हैं, करीब एक हज़ार पेड़ उखड़ गये हैं और तकरीबन 4,600 गांवों में कच्चे मकानों को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है. गुजरात के राहत आयुक्त के मुताबिक, अभी तक किसी की मौत की खबर नहीं आई है. ऐसा लग रहा है कि तूफान से पहले सरकार ने जो तैयारियां की, उसका फायदा मिला, किसी इंसान की जान नहीं गई, कोई बड़ी अनहोनी नहीं हुई, ये बड़ी बात है, लेकिन अभी मुसीबत खत्म नहीं हुई है. तूफान अब दक्षिण राजस्थान की तरफ बढ रहा है. तूफान से हुए नुकसान का अंदाजा तो तूफान के गुजर जाने के बाद लगेगा लेकिन इस तूफान ने आने से पहले ही बहुत नुकसान कर दिया है. ये तूफान गुजरात के जिन ज़िलों से होकर गुज़रा, वो भारी औद्य़ोगिक गतिविधयों वाले इलाके हैं, यहां पर ऑयल रिफ़ाइनरी, इंडस्ट्रियल पार्क और बड़े बड़े पोर्ट हैं. तूफ़ान की वजह से गुजरात के सात ज़िलों के 21 छोटे बड़े पोर्ट्स बंद कर दिए गए हैं. समुद्र में बने ऑयल रिग यानी तेल के कुंओं पर भी काम रुका हुआ है. तेल की रिफाइनरी भी बंद कर दी गई थीं. एक्पर्टर्स का कहना है कि हर रोज कम से कम पांच सौ करोड़ का नुकसान तो सिर्फ पोर्ट्स पर हो रहा है और ये अभी कई दिन तक होगा क्योंकि ऑपरेशन्स को नॉर्मल होने में वक्त लगेगा. मुझे लगता है कि इस भयंकर तूफान की ताकत के सामने ये नुकसान बहुत कम है. आज जो स्थिति है, उसे देखकर कहना पड़ेगा कि नरेन्द्र मोदी ने दिखा दिया कि डिजास्टर मैनेजमेंट के मामले में, बड़ी से बड़ी आपदा से निपटने के मामले में उनका कोई मुकाबला नहीं है. मोदी ने खतरे की गंभीरता को वक्त रहते समझा, तैयारी की, देश ने इस आपदा का मुकाबला किया, ये बहुत बड़ी बात है.

बृज भूषण के खिलाफ चार्जशीट
बृजभूशण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ आंदोलन कर रहे पहलवानों से सरकार ने जो वादा किया था, उसे गुरुवार को पूरा कर दिया गया. छह पहलवानों ने बृजभूषण के खिलाफ यौन शोषण के इल्जाम लगाए थे. इन लड़कियों के आरोपों के आधार पर दर्ज केस में दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम ने राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट में एक हजार से ज्यादा पन्नों की चार्जशीट पेश की है. इसमें बृजभूषण को दफा 354, 354A और 354D के तहत आरोपी बनाया है. इस केस में रेसलिंग फेडरेशन के सचिव विनोद तोमर को भी आरोपी बनाया गया है. इस मामले में बजभूशण शरण सिंह को जिन धाराओं में आरोपी बनाया गया है, उनमें एक साल से लेकर पांच साल तक की सज़ा का प्रावधान है. ज्यादातर दफाएं जमानती हैं. सिर्फ 354A गैरजमानती है लेकिन इसमें भी ये जांच अधिकारी के विवेक पर निर्भर है कि आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करना है या नहीं. अगर आरोपी जांच में सहयोग नहीं करता, तभी उसकी गिरफ्तारी होती है. लेकिन दिल्ली पुलिस ने जो चार्जशीट फाइल की है उसमें कहा गया है कि आरोप लगाने वाली पहलवानों ने सबूत के तौर पर पांच फोटोग्राफ्स दी हैं, कुछ डिजिटल एवीडेंस दिए हैं. दिल्ली पुलिस ने 25 गवाहों के बयान दर्ज किए हैं. इन सबके आधार पर बृजभूषण के खिलाफ मामला बनता है. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ दर्ज नाबालिग के यौन शोषण के केस में दिल्ली पुलिस ने कैंसिलेशन की एप्लीकेशन फाइल की है, यानी दिल्ली पुलिस ने कोर्ट से कह दिया कि उसे इस मामले में केस चलाने लायक कोई सबूत नहीं मिले, जिस लड़की ने ये इल्जाम लगाए थे, उस लड़की ने अपने बयान वापस ले लिए हैं. यानी अब बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को तुरंत गिरफ्तार करने की नौबत नहीं आएगी. कुल मिलाकर खेल मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने साक्षी मलिक और बजंरग पूनिया से 15 जून तक चार्जशीट फाइल होने का जो वादा किया था, वो पूरा हो गया. दिल्ली पुलिस ने तय डेडलाइन खत्म होने से पहले चार्जशीट फाइल कर दी. अब राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट के चीफ मेट्रोपॉलिटन मजिस्ट्रेट 22 जून को इस मामले में सुनवाई करेंगे. बृज भूषण कई महीनों से एक दबंग की तरह खुलेआम घूम रहे थे, बयानबाजी कर रहे थे, सबूत मांग रहे थे. दिल्ली पुलिस ने बृजभूषण के खिलाफ गवाहों के बयान, सबूत और लड़कियों के बयानों के आधार पर तैयार चार्जशीट फाइल कर दी. अब नेताजी को लेने के देने पड़ सकते हैं, अगर वो ये सोच रहे हैं कि नाबालिग लड़की ने अपना बयान बदला उसके पिता ने शिकायत वापस ली और इस आधार पर दिल्ली पुलिस ने बृज भूषण के खिलाफ पाक्सो एक्ट में दर्ज केस को वापस लेने की एप्लीकेशन कोर्ट में दे दी, इसलिए वो बच गए, तो वो गलत सोच रहे हैं. ये इतना आसान नहीं है, अब ये अदालत तय करेगी कि दिल्ली पुलिस की एप्लीकेशन मंजूर की जाए या न की जाए. अदालत पूछ सकती है लड़की ने बयान क्यों बदला, अपनी मर्जी से बदला या उस पर कोई दबाव था, लेकिन ये सही है कि इस मामले में शुरू से ही दिल्ली पुलिस का जो रवैया रहा है, उससे ऐसा परसेप्शन बना था कि बृजभूषण को बचाने की कोशिश की जा रही है. जब आरोप लगाने वाली बेटियों को जंतर मंतर पर सड़क पर घसीटे जाने की तस्वीरें आई तो दिल्ली पुलिस की और बदनामी हुई. इसलिए जब दिल्ली पुलिस ने चार्जशीट फाइल की तो उसे भी शक की निगाह से देखा गया. पहली बात तो ये है कि अनुराग ठाकुर ने खिलाडियों से जो वादा किया था उसे आज दिल्ली पुलिस ने पूरा कर दिया. बृजभूषण खुश होंगे कि सिर पर अब तुरंत गिरफ़्तारी की तलवार नहीं लटकेगी और महिला पहलवानों को लगेगा कम से कम चार्ज शीट तो फाइल हुई है . इसके साथ साथ ये साफ हो गया कि भारतीय कुश्ती संघ अब बृज भूषण के चंगुल से आजाद हो जाएगा. अब महिला पहलवानों को नेता जी के आतंक के साये में नहीं जीना पड़ेगा.

विपक्ष कॉमन सिविल कोड से क्यों डर रहा है ?

देश में एक बार फिर यूनीफॉर्म सिविल कोड पर चर्चा शुरू हो गई है. चूंकि लॉ कमीशन ने आम लोगों से अगले तीस दिन में यूनीफॉर्म सिविल कोड को देश में लागू करने पर राय मांगी है, जिसके आधार पर लॉ कमीशन अपनी रिपोर्ट तैयार करके सरकार को देगा. जैसे ही लॉ कमीशन के इस कदम की जानकारी आई तो प्रतिक्रियाएं आनी शुरु हो गई. सबसे पहले मौलानाओं ने, मुस्लिम नेताओं ने इस पर एतराज जताया. सबसे तीखी प्रतिक्रिया जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना अरशद मदनी की आई. मौलाना अरशद मदनी ने कहा कि देश में किसी भी सरकार ने मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ को नहीं छेड़ा, लेकिन मौजूदा सरकार जानबूझकर ये कर रही है. मौलाना अरशद मदनी ने कहा कि कुछ लोग मुसलमानों के हौसले को तोड़ना चाहते हैं, मुसलमानों के साथ दुश्मनी की मिसाल पेश करना चाहते हैं, .देश इसे कभी भूलेगा नहीं. दारुल उलूम फिरंगी महल के मौलाना सुफियान निजामी ने कहा कि यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड की कोई ज़रूरत नहीं है. समाजवादी पार्टी के MP शफीकुर रहमान बर्क ने कहा कि लोकसभा के चुनाव होने वाले हैं, कई राज्यों के चुनाव करीब हैं, इसलिए बीजेपी इस तरह के मुद्दे उठा रही है. कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने इल्जाम लगाया कि मोदी सरकार अपनी नाकामियों से ध्यान भटकाना चाहती है, ध्रुवीकरण करना चाहती है, इसलिए एक बार फिर यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड के मुद्दे को फिर से हवा दी जा रही है. असल में नेताओं की परेशानी लॉ कमीशन के कदम से नहीं है. उनकी परेशानी ये है कि बीजेपी के एजेंडा में तीन बड़े मुद्दे थे (1) अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर का निर्माण, (2) जम्मू कश्मीर से आर्टिकल 370 को खत्म करना और (3) देश मे कॉमन सिविल कोड़ लागू करना. नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार राम मंदिर और आर्टिकिल 370 का वादा पूरा कर चुकी है. सिर्फ कॉमन सिविल कोड का मसला बचा है. चूंकि अगले साल चुनाव होना है इसीलिए विपक्ष को, मुस्लिम संगठनों को, .मौलानाओं को लग रहा है कि सरकार अगले कुछ महीनों में कॉमन सिविल कोड लागू करगी और बीजेपी इसे बड़ा चुनावी मुद्दा बनाएगी. अगर नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार ने कॉमन सिविल कोड बिल चुनाव पहले पार्लिय़ामेंट में पेश कर दिया तो सबसे ज्यादा परेशानी कांग्रेस नेताओं को होगी, जो अभी अभी नए हिंदू हितैषी बने हैं, जिन्होंने मध्यप्रदेश में राम और हनुमान के नाम का जाप शुरु किया है. कांग्रेस के अलावा NCP, JD-U, RJD और उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना जैसे तमाम दलों के सामने भी बड़ा कन्फ्यूजन होगा, जो बिल का विरोध करेगा उस पर हिन्दू विरोधी होने का टैग लगेगा, और अगर वो सपोर्ट में आए तो ओवैसी जैसे नेता कहेंगे कि सिर्फ वही मुसलमानों के हितों की बात करते हैं, वो कहेंगे कि कांग्रेस और दूसरे दल तो मुसलमानों के खिलाफ मोदी के साथ खड़े हैं, लेकिन अगर सरकार ने वाकई में यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड लागू कर दिया तो ये बहुत बड़ा राजनीतिक कदम होगा और इसीलिए जैसे ही लॉ कमीशन ने कॉमन सिविल कोड पर पब्लिक की राय मांगी तो नेताओं ने शोर मचाना शुरू कर दिया है. मैं आपको बता दूं कि इस वक्त देश में गोवा अकेला ऐसा राज्य है जहां यूनीफॉर्म सिविल कोड लागू है, और उत्तराखंड ने कॉमन सिविल कोड लागू करने का एलान किया है. इसके लिए एक्सपर्ट्स की कमेटी इस महीने के अंत तक अपनी रिपोर्ट सरकार को दे देगी. इसके बाद पुष्कर धामी की सरकार यूनीफॉर्म सिविल कोड बिल लेकर आएगी.

Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ which lashed Kutch-Saurashtra region in Gujarat has left a trail of destruction with thousands of electricity poles damaged, nearly a thousand trees uprooted and residents of nearly 4,600 villages having their thatched houses damaged. State Relief Commissioner of Gujarat has said, till now, no human death has been reported. This has been possible due to timely arrangements made both by the central and state governments. The cyclonic storm has now moved towards southern Rajasthan. The full extent of losses will be known after conditions return to normal, since most parts of coastal region in Gujarat have no electricity. This region is known for its massive industrial activity, like oil refinery, industrial parks and big ports. 21 small and big ports in these districts had to be closed before the onset of cyclone. Work on offshore oil rigs has also come to a halt. Experts estimate the daily losses to economy due to ports at around Rs 500 crore. It will take time to return to normal operations, and yet, I feel, these losses are small compared to the huge threat that was posed by the severe cyclonic storm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown his skills in natural disaster management. He had shown similar skills in the past too. Modi assessed the gravity of the threat in time and put his emergency plan in motion.

CHARGESHEET FILED AGAINST BRIJ BHUSHAN

The Centre fulfilled its promise to six female wrestlers on Thursday when the special investigation team of Delhi Police filed chargesheet, running into more than 1,000 pages, against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, and has made him accused under Sections 354, 354A and 354D of IPC. Secretary of Wrestling Federation of India Vinod Tomar has also been made accused. The sections under which Brij Bhushan has been nailed provide for one year to five years’ imprisonment, most of the sections are bailable, only 354A is non-bailable, and it depends on the investigation officer whether to arrest the accused or not. In its chargesheet, police said the female wrestlers submitted five photographs and some digital evidence as proof, while statements of 25 witnesses were recorded. Delhi Police filed cancellation application in the POCSO (Protection of Children From Sexual Offences) Act, after the minor wrestler withdrew her charges. Overall, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh may not be arrested soon, and on the other hand, the assurances given to wrestlers by Sports Minister Anurag Thakur have been fulfilled. The chief metropolitan magistrate’s court will take up the matter for hearing on June 22. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had been making lot of blusters, challenging his rivals to show evidence, and now, police have come up with a chargesheet along with statements of witnesses and evidence. The leader may have to face the music if he thinks that by making the minor girl change his statement, he is free. It is not so easy. The court will now decide whether to accept the cancellation application of the police or not. The court may ask why the girl changed her statement. It may question whether the girl changed her statement on her own or was she acting under coercion. It is true that the popular perception about Delhi Police has been that it was trying to protect Brij Bhushan. When visuals of female wrestlers being dragged on the street near Jantar Mantar were flashed across the globe, Delhi Police faced flak. That is why the chargesheet that Delhi Police filed on Thursday is being watched with suspicion. The promise of sticking to the deadline for filing chargesheet, June 15, that Anurag Thakur made to wrestlers, was fulfilled. Brij Bhushan may be happy now that the sword that was hanging on his head is no more. The wrestlers might be feeling that at last a chargesheet has been filed. It is now clear that Wrestling Federation of India is now free from the clutches of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, and female wrestlers will not have to live in fear.

IS OPPOSITION SCARED OF COMMON CIVIL CODE?

The debate on whether India should have a uniform civil code has begun with the Law Commission seeking opinions from people on UCC within the next 30 days. The Commission will then submit its report to the government. Muslim clerics and leaders have raised objection on the Law Commission’s move. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind president Maulana Arshad Madani said, no government in the past had tinkered with Muslim Personal Law, but the present government is deliberately moving towards that direction. Maulana Sufian Nizami of Darul Uloom Firangi Mahal said, the nation does not need a uniform civil code, the government should focus more on other pressing issues. Samajwadi Party MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq said, BJP is raising this topic because Lok Sabha elections are due next year and several states will also have assembly polls. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh alleged that Modi government is trying to divert people’s attention from its ‘failures’ and wants polarization of votes to win LS polls. BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, more than 80 countries, including several Islamic countries, have common civil code, but in India, this has become a political issue. Union Law Secretary P K Malhotra said, the 21st Law Commission had sought public opinion on uniform civil code in the past and had given its report, and now the 22nd Law Commission has also done the same. Seeking public opinion does not mean that the UCC will be implemented, he said. Opinions from political parties and legal luminaries will also be taken and this is a long-drawn process, Malhotra said. Leaders of political parties are not worried about the Law Commission’s move. Their worry is that BJP had three main topics on its agenda since the Nineties: (1) Building Ram Temple in Ayodhya (2) Removal of Article 370 and (3) implementing a common civil code. Narendra Modi’s government has fulfilled the first two promises, and only the common civil code issue remains. Since Lok Sabha elections are due next year, opposition parties and Islamic clerics feel that the government will implement UCC in the next few months, and BJP will make it a big poll issue. If Modi government introduces to the common civil code bill in Parliament before elections, Congress will be the hardest hit, because, of late, it has started to project itself as a benevolent Hindu party, particularly in Madhya Pradesh, where Hanuman Chalisa is being recited by party workers in all districts. Apart from Congress, parties like NCP, JD(U), RJD and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) may also face confusion. Those opposing the common civil code bill will be tagged as anti-Hindu parties. And if these parties support the bill, leaders like AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi will go to town and claim that he is the only politician who is fighting for the cause of Muslims. If Modi government implements the Uniform Civil Code, it will be a big political leap. This is exactly the reason why there is hue and cry after the Law Commission sought public opinion. Let me tell you, Goa is the only state in India today where uniform civil code is in force. Uttarkhand government has declared its intention to implement common civil code and an experts’ committee is going to give its report by this month-end. Soon after that, Uttarkhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government will bring forward a common civil code bill.

इस वक्त पूरे देश में गुजरात तट पर पहुंचे भयंकर तूफान को लेकर चिंता है. साइक्लोन बिपरजॉय गुजरात में बड़ी तबाही मचा सकता है. गुजरात में सागर तट से दस किलोमीटर तक के इलाके को खाली करवा लिया गया है. NDRF, SDRF, कोस्ट गार्ड्स के साथ साथ थल सेना, नौसेना, वायु सेना को भी आपदा के वक्त मदद के लिए तैयार रहने को कहा गया है. करीब 94 हज़ार लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर भेजा गया है, गुजरात के सात जिलों पर भारी खतरा है. बिपरजॉय अति भयंकर कैटेगरी का तूफान है, इसके रास्ते में आने वाले हर इलाके में तबाही तय है. ये ऐसी प्राकृतिक आपदा है जिसे रोकना, या उसकी तीव्रता को कम करना इंसान के बस का नहीं हैं, लेकिन टेक्नोलॉजी की मदद से नुकसान को कम करने का वक्त हमें मिल गया है. तूफान जब तट से डेढ़ हजार किलोमीटर दूर था उसी वक्त इसकी ताकत का अंदाज हो गया. इसके नुकसान को कम करने के लिए सरकार को छह दिन का वक्त मिल गया. सरकार ने इस वक्त का पूरा इस्तेमाल करके पूरे इलाके को खाली करवा लिया है. बचाव के सारे इंतजाम कर लिए गये हैं, इसलिए उम्मीद तो है कि गुरुवार को जब तूफान तट से टकराएगा, तो कोई बुरी खबर नहीं आएगी. लेकिन फिर भी सावधानी जरूरी है.

नीतीश कुमार 23 जून को पटना में विपक्षी नेताओं के जमावड़े की तैयारी में लगे हैं, लेकिन बीजेपी उससे पहले बिहार को छोटे दलों को NDA में शामिल करके नीतीश की इस कोशिश को हल्का करने की रणनीति बना रही है . जीतनराम मांझी के बेटे ने नीतीश के मंत्रिमंडल से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. इंडिया टीवी के पॉलीटिकल एडीटर देवेन्द्र पारशर ने जानकारी दी है कि एक दो दिन में जीतनराम मांझी NDA में शामिल होने का एलान कर सकते हैं. .देवेन्द्र ने बताया कि मांझी के अलावा उपेन्द्र कुशवाहा NDA में शामिल हो सकते हैं. इन सभी सहयोगियों को कितनी सीटें दी जाएंगी, कौन सी सीटें दी जाएंगी, उन सीटों को चिन्हित करने का काम चल रहा है. जीतनराम मांझी, उपेन्द्र कुशवाहा और चिराग पासवान की पार्टियों को कौन सी सीट देनी है, किन किन सीटों पर बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार होगा, ये सब तय हो चुका है. अब बिहार बीजेपी के नेताओं को इसके बारे में विश्वास में लिया जा रहा है. बुधवार को केन्द्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह के घर पर बीजेपी के बड़े नेताओं की बैठक हुई. प्रदेश बीजेपी अध्यक्ष सम्राट चौधरी को दिल्ली बुलाया गया था. बिहार बीजेपी के नेताओं की राय लेने के बाद छोटी पार्टयों के साथ सीटों के बंटवारे पर फैसला हो सकता है. खबर है कि जीतनराम मांझी अपने बेटे संतोष सुमन को लोकसभा का चुनाव लड़वाना चाहते हैं. बीजेपी संतोष सुमन के लिए गया की सीट छोड़ने को तैयार है. इसी तरह कोशिश ये की जा रही है कि रामविलास पासवान के बेटे चिराग पासवान और उनके चाचा पशुपति पारस के बीच समझौता करा दिया जाए. चिराग़ पासवान हाजीपुर सीट पर दावा ठोंक रहे हैं. इस सीट से फिलहाल उनके चाचा और केन्द्रीय मंत्री पशुपति पारस सांसद हैं. चिराग को साथ लेने के लिए बीजेपी, पशुपति पारस को हाजीपुर सीट छोड़ने के लिए मनाने की कोशिश कर रही है. कुल मिलाकर कोशिश ये है कि पटना में विरोधी दलों के नेताओं की मीटिंग से पहले बीजेपी बिहार में NDA का विस्तार कर ले. बिहार में तीसरे नंबर की पार्टी होने के बावजूद नीतीश कुमार 2005 के बाद से अब तक यानी करीब 18 साल से सत्ता पर काबिज़ हैं. इसकी एक ही वजह है, बिहार के जातिगत समीकरण ऐसे हैं जिसमें नीतीश भले ही अकेले चुनाव न जीत पाएं लेकिन वो जिसके साथ हो जाते हैं, उसके जीतने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है. वह जब बीजेपी के साथ होते हैं तो बीजेपी को फायदा होता है. इसीलिए गहरी राजनीतिक दुश्मनी होने के बाद भी लालू ने नीतीश को गले लगाया और सरकार में आ गए. चूंकि नीतीश ने दो दो बार बीजेपी को धोखा दिया इसलिए अब बीजेपी नीतीश के राजनीतिक समीकरणों को तोड़ना चाहती है. बीजेपी बिहार की सभी छोटी पार्टियों को एकजुट करके ऐसा फॉर्मूला तैयार करना चाहती है जिससे बिहार में ही नीतीश को मात दी जा सके. इससे दो फायदे होंगे, एक – बिहार जाति की राजनीति से मुक्त होगा, दूसरा – नीतीश बिहार से विपक्षी एकता का जो संदेश देना चाहते हैं, उसकी धार कम हो जाएगी.

क्या बीजेपी स्टालिन की सरकार को गिराना चाहती है?

चेन्नई में बुधवार को सुबह जब ED ने 18 घंटे की पूछताछ के बाद तमिलनाडु के बिजली मंत्री सेंथिल बालाजी को गिरफ्तार किया, तो मंत्री जी रो-रो कर चीखने लगे, कहा, उनके सीने में दर्द है, उन्हें फौरन सरकारी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डाक्टरों ने कहा कि उनकी बाइपास सर्जरी होगी. ये गिरफ्तारी 2011 से 2016 के बीच हुई परिवहन निगम में भर्तियों में पैसे लेकर नौकरियां देने के मामले में हुई. सेंथिल बालाजी पर कैश फॉर जॉब स्कैम का इल्जाम लगा था, उस वक्त जयललिता की सरकार थी, सेंथिल बालाजी परिवहन मंत्री थे. सरकारी नौकरी देने के बदले बड़े पैमाने पर रिश्वत लेने के इल्जाम लगे थे. चेन्नई पुलिस ने जांच के बाद इस केस में सेंथिल समेत 47 लोगों के खिलाफ चार्जशीट फाइल की थी. इसके बाद सेंथिल DMK में शामिल हो गए और स्टालिन की सरकार में मंत्री बन गए. चूंकि इस केस में बड़े पैमाने पर कैश के लेन देन की बात सामने आई थी, इसलिए ED ने जांच शुरू की. सेंथिल को समन किया, लेकिन हाईकोर्ट ने रोक लगा दी. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पिछले महीने रोक हटा ली, तो ED फिर सक्रिय हो गई. पिछले तीन दिन में ED ने सेंथिल और उनके सहयोगियों के ठिकाने पर छापे मारे, सेंथिल के घर और उनके दफ्तर में भी तलाशी हुई. हर जगह ED की टीम सेंथिल को साथ लेकर गई. इसके बाद उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. सेंथिल इस वक्त अस्पताल में हैं लेकिन उनकी गिरफ्तारी को लेकर सियासत शुरू हो गई. रात में तमिलनाडु सरकार के तमाम मंत्री सेंथिल से मिलने अस्पताल पहुंच गए. मुख्यमंत्री एम के स्टालिन भी सेंथिल से मिलने पहुंचे. स्टालिन ने कहा कि बीजेपी के इन हथकंडों से उनकी पार्टी डरने वाली नहीं है, 2024 में बीजेपी को सबक सिखाया जाएगा. स्टालिन ने कहा कि तमिलनाडु सरकार ने CBI को राज्य में जांच के लिए दी गई सहमति भी वापस ले ली है. तमाम विरोधी दलों ने बीजेपी को कोसा. कांग्रेस, RJD, आम आदमी पार्टी, जेडीयू, NCP समेत कई विरोधी दलों के नेताओं ने कहा कि अब तो इस बात में कोई शक नहीं है कि बीजेपी डर गई है, .इसीलिए जांच एजेंसियों का इस्तेमाल हथियार की तरह किया जा रहा है. चूंकि सेंथिल DMK के नेता हैं, स्टालिन की सरकार में मंत्री हैं, स्टालिन विपक्ष के साथ हैं, 23 जून को पटना में होने वाली विरोधी दलों के नेताओं की बैठक में हिस्सा लेने भी जाएंगे, इसलिए अगर उनकी सरकार के मंत्री को सेंट्रल एजेंसी गिरफ्तार करती है तो विपक्षी दलों का समर्थन मिलना लाजमी है, इसमें आश्चर्य नहीं होना चाहिए. लेकिन इस घोटाले के जो तथ्य़ हैं, उनको नज़रअंदाज नहीं किय़ा जा सकता. स्टालिन आज कुछ भी कहें लेकिन वो इस बात से इंकार नहीं कर सकते कि कैश फॉर जॉब घोटाले का मामला उन्हीं की पार्टी ने उठाया था. चूंकि उस वक्त सेंथिल AIADMK में थे, इसलिए स्टालिन ने सेंथिल के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की थी. पुलिस इस केस में चार्जशीट फाइल कर चुकी थी. सेंथिल को आरोपी बनाया गया था लेकिन जब वही सेंथिल DMK में शामिल हो गए तो स्टालिन की सरकार ने उनके खिलाफ लगे सारे आरोप वापस ले लिए. ये भी नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि ये मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचा और सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ED को जांच करने और कार्रवाई करने का आदेश दिया. उसके बाद ही कार्रवाई शुरु हुई. इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि कानून को अपना काम करने देना चाहिए. हां, ये सही है कि सेंथिल की तबीयत ठीक नहीं है, इसलिए उन्हें बेहतर से बेहतर इलाज मिले, इसकी चिंता होनी चाहिए लेकिन इसको लेकर मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, सुप्रिया सुले और संजय राउत ये कहें कि जैसे एकनाथ शिंदे को महाराष्ट्र में तोड़ा, उसी तरह अब बीजेपी तमिलनाडु में सरकार को अस्थिर करना चाहती है, तो मुझे लगता है कि ये बात किसी के गले नहीं उतरेगी.

बीजेपी ने एकनाथ शिंदे को उनकी जगह बता दी

महाराष्ट्र में एक दूसरे किस्म का ड्राम चल रहा है. बुधवार को सीएम एकनाथ शिन्दे ने यू-टर्न ले लिया. असल में हुआ ये कि एकनाथ शिन्दे की शिवसेना की तरफ से बुधवार को फिर सारे अखबारों में एक विज्ञापन छपा. मंगलवार को जो विज्ञापन छपा था, उसमें एकनाथ शिन्दे को देवेन्द्र फडनवीस से ज्यादा लोकप्रिय मुख्यमंत्री बताया गया था. मंगलवार के विज्ञापन में देवेन्द्र फडनवीस की तस्वीर नहीं थी, लेकिन बुधवार को जो विज्ञापन छपा उसमें बाला साहेब ठाकरे और फडनवीस की भी तस्वीरें थी. इसमें कहा गया था कि एकनाथ शिन्दे और देवेन्द्र फडनवीस की सरकार को महाराष्ट्र की जनता पसंद कर रही है, 49 परसेंट से ज्यादा लोगों ने सरकार के काम पर संतोष जताया है. दावा किया गया कि बीजेपी और शिवसेना का गठबंधन अटूट है, दोनों पार्टियां मिलकर काम करती रहेंगी. जैसे ही ये विज्ञापन छपा, महाराष्ट्र के विरोधी दलों के नेताओं ने चुटकी ली. संजय राउत ने पूछा कि सिर्फ चौबीस घंटे में एकनाथ शिन्दे की हीरोगिरी खत्म कैसे हो गई? ऐसा क्या हुआ कि शिन्दे को फडनवीस की भी फोटो छापनी पड़ी? राउत ने कहा है कि नए विज्ञापन में शिंदे की पार्टी के मंत्रियों की तस्वीरें तो हैं लेकिन बीजेपी के मंत्रियों की नहीं. उन्होंने कहा कि 40 विधायकों वाली पार्टी 105 विधायकों वाली पार्टी पर राज कर रही है, बीजेपी-शिंदे सरकार दो महीने से ज्यादा नहीं चलने वाली है. संजय राउत जो कह रहे हैं उसमें सच्चाई है. ये बात बिल्कुल सही है कि जिस तरह से कल एकनाथ शिन्दे की पार्टी ने बड़े बड़े विज्ञापन छपवाकर शिन्दे को देवेन्द्र फडनवीस से ज्यादा लोकप्रिय बताने का दावा किया, उससे बीजेपी में जबरदस्त नाराजगी है. बीजेपी के नेताओं ने पार्टी के भीतर और सार्वजनिक मंचों पर भी इसको लेकर नाराजगी जाहिर की. बीजेपी के राज्यसभा सांसद अनिल बोंडे ने कहा, मेंढक खुद को कितना भी फुला ले हाथी नहीं बन सकता, लगता है शिंदे को भी वैसी ही गलतफहमी हो गई है जैसी उद्धव ठाकरे को थी. उधर, शिंदे की सरकार मे मंत्री शंभूराजे देसाई ने कहा कि जांच करके इस बात का पता करेंगे कि विज्ञापन किसने छपवाया. इस पर एनसीपी नेता अजित पवार ने कहा कि इसमें जांच की क्या जरुरत है, ये तो अखबार के दफ्तर से आसानी से पता लग सकता है, अजित पवार ने कहा कि असली बात ये है कि एकनाथ शिंदे को ये समझ में आ गया था कि अगर विज्ञापन से यू टर्न नहीं लिया था उनकी कुर्सी खतरे में आ जाएगी. अब बीजेपी के नेता थोड़ा नरम रूख अपना रहे हैं. प्रदेश बीजेपी अध्यक्ष चंद्रशेखर बावनकुले ने कहा कि विज्ञापन को लेकर खटास जरुर थी लेकिन अब नए विज्ञापन के बाद सब कुछ ठीक हो गया है. बावनकुले ने कहा कि परिवार में झगड़े होते रहते हैं, लेकिन अब मामला सुलझ गया है. बावनकुले भी जानते हैं कि एकनाथ शिन्दे ने जानबूझकर खुद को देवेन्द्र फडनवीस से बड़ा नेता साबित करने के लिए विज्ञापन छपवाया था. लेकिन जब बीजेपी के तेवर देखे तो यू-टर्न ले लिया और अब ये बहाना बनाया जा रहा है कि कल पता नहीं किसने विज्ञापन छपवा दिया. मैं अजित पवार की दाद देना चाहूंगा. उन्होंने कल ही कह दिया था कि कल सुबह देखिएगा दूसरा विज्ञापन छपेगा, जिसमें शिन्दें छोटे हो जाएंगे. उनकी बात सही निकली. लेकिन ये कैसे हुआ? क्यों हुआ? इसकी हकीकत मैं आपको बता देता हूं. मुझे जो जानकारी मिली है उसके मुताबिक, मंगलवार को कैबिनेट की बैठक में बीजेपी के नेताओं ने शिन्दे को उनकी जगह दिखा दी. बैठक में देवेन्द्र फडनवीस भी मौजूद थे. जैसे ही बैठक में सरकारी कामकाज खत्म हुआ, अफसरों को बाहर जाने को कहा गया. इसके बाद बीजेपी के मंत्रियों ने शिन्दे से साफ पूछा कि वो आखिर क्या चाहते हैं? इस तरह का विज्ञापन क्यों छपवाया? शिन्दे के पास कोई जबाव नहीं था. बीजेपी के नेताओं ने यहां तक कहा कि हकीकत ये है कि अगर बीजेपी मदद न करे तो शिन्दे की रैलियों में इतने लोग भी नहीं पहुंचते कि कुर्सियां भर जाएं. बीजेपी के कुछ मंत्रियों ने शिन्दे से कहा कि अगर इस तरह गलती को ठीक न किया गया तो बीजेपी दिखा देगी कि कौन कितने पानी में है. इसके बाद एकनाथ शिंदे बैकफुट पर आ गए. उन्होंने उसी वक्त वादा किया कि कल ही इस गलती को ठीक करेंगे, कल नया विज्ञापन देंगे. उसी के बाद रात में ही मैटेरियल तैयार हुआ, अखबारों को फुल पेज विज्ञापन दिया गया जो बुधवार को छपा. हालांकि इससे देवेन्द्र फडनवीस की नाराजगी कम नहीं हुई है. बुधवार को महाराष्ट्र राज्य परिवहन के प्रोग्राम में एकनाथ शिंदे और देवेन्द्र फडणवीस दोनों को शामिल होना था, लेकिन फडणवीस नहीं गए. उन्होंने तबीयत खराब होने की बात कही. हालांकि जब ये कार्यक्रम चल रहा था उसी वक्त फडणवीस अपने घर में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के मंत्री सुरेश खन्ना से मुलाकात कर रहे थे. मतलब साफ है कि शिन्दे की हरकत से देवेन्द्र फडणवीस के दिल पर चोट लगी है. और इसे भरने में वक्त लगेगा.

Authorities are now taking help of HAM amateur radio experts, in case the entire communication system collapses. This Very Severe Cyclonic Storm is going to create havoc in its path leading to widespread devastation. This is a natural disaster which cannot be controlled by human beings. With the help of latest surveillance technology, the Centre and the state governments have put emergency measures in motion to lower the chances of loss to human lives. The government got six days’ time to put its emergency plan in place. Let us all hope that Cyclone Biparjoy passes off without causing major losses. Caution is the need of the hour and the authorities are ready to face the storm. People must follow advisories issued by the authorities to minimize losses.

BIHAR : BJP FORMULA TO TACKLE NITISH

BJP leaders in Bihar have begun to woo Hindustani Awami Morcha party chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, whose son Santosh Kumar Suman has resigned from JDU-RJD government. Along with this, Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLJD) chief Upendra Kushwaha, Lok Jan Shakti Party chief Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras are also being wooed by BJP to join National Democratic Alliance. India TV political editor Devendra Parashar reports that Jitan Ram Manjhi may announce joining NDA within a day or two. Seats for HAM, RLJD and LJP are being identified in Bihar to form an alliance ahead of next year’s Lok Sabha elections. Bihar BJP chief Samrat Choudhary was summoned to Delhi to attend a meeting at Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s residence. BJP is ready to leave Gaya seat for Manjhi’s son Santosh Suman, while efforts are on for a patch-up between Chirag Paswan and his uncle. Chirag Paswan wants to contest from Hajipur, presently represented by his uncle Union Minister Pashupati Paras. Despite being the third largest party in Bihar, Nitish Kumar and his party JD-U has been continuously in power for 18 years, since 2005. The reason: caste equations. Nitish Kumar’s party may not perform well at all if it goes alone, but when JD-U forges alliance with other parties, the chances of win increase. When Nitish Kumar was its ally, BJP benefited. Despite deep political rivalry, Nitish joined hands with Lalu Prasad and continues to rule. Since Nitish Kumar has ditched BJP twice, BJP leaders now want to break Nitish’s political equations. BJP wants to prepare a formula to unite all smaller parties in order to defeat Nitish Kumar and his ally RJD. There could be two benefits: One, Bihar can be freed from the stranglehold of caste politics, and Two, blunt the edge of Nitish’s message of opposition unity from Bihar.

IS BJP TRYING TO DESTABILIZE STALIN’S GOVT?

There was high drama when Enforcement Directorate officials arrested Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister V. Senthil Balaji in the wee hours of Wednesday, under Prevention of Money Laundering Act. This arrest was in connection with a cash-for-jobs scam dating back to his tenure as Transport Minister in the previous AIADMK government. After his arrest, Senthil Balaji complained of chest pain and started screaming in agony. He was rushed to a government hospital, where doctors advised bypass surgery after a coronary angiogram was done in ICU. Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin visited the minister and alleged Balaji was mentally tortured during long hours of interrogation by ED officials. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, RJD, Aam Aadmi Party, JD-U, NCP and other opposition parties condemned the arrest, alleging that BJP was now using investigation agencies as its weapon. Since Senthil Balaji is a DMK leader, a minister in Stalin’s government, and since Stalin is going to attend the June 23 conclave of opposition leaders convened in Patna by Nitish Kumar, this arrest has taken political contours. Nobody should be surprised if opposition leaders extend support to the arrested minister. But bare facts cannot be ignored. Whatever Stalin may say now, the fact is, it was his party DMK which had raised the cash-for-jobs scam during AIADMK rule between 2011 and 2016. At that time, Senthil Balaji was in AIADMK, and Stalin had then demanded action against him. Police had filed chargesheet in this case and he was made one of the accused. But when Senthil Balaji joined DMK, Stalin’s government withdrew all charges. The matter reached the Supreme Court, which ordered an ED investigation. The minister’s arrest was a consequence of this probe. Therefore, I think, we should let the law take its own course. Of course, Senthil Balaji’s health is an issue, and he must get the best treatment. But for Mallikarjun Kharge, Supriya Sule and Sanjay Rout to allege that BJP wants to destabilize DMK government in the manner in which Uddhav Thackeray’s government was toppled, is a bit far-fetched.

BJP SHOWS EKNATH SHINDE HIS PLACE

In Maharashtra, a different type of drama was enacted. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena published another ad in the daily newspapers, a day after an ad showed Shinde as a Chief Minister more popular than his deputy Devendra Fadnavis. The deputy CM’s picture was missing in Tuesday’s ad, but in Wednesday’s ad, photos of Balasaheb Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis were added, and it was mentioned that more than 49 per cent voters in Maharashtra have expressed satisfaction over the performance of the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition government of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis. It was claimed that the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition is unbreakable, and both parties will continue to work together. But both these ads have already led to questions from Shiv Sena (UT) leader Sanjay Raut. He asked, ‘how Eknath Shinde lost his ‘Herogiri’ within a day? What happened that made Shinde publish Fadnavis’ photo the next day’. Raut said, the second ad was published under pressure from BJP high command. He said, though Shinde faction may be trying to do damage control, the relationship between both parties is bound to sour. Raut said, a party having 40 MLAs is lording over a party having 105 MLAs. ‘Such internal tussles will continue, and this government will fall within two months’, Raut predicted. Sanjay Raut may be right. It is true that Eknath Shinde’s party published ad describing him as more popular than Fadnavis. There is huge displeasure over this in the BJP camp. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anil Bonde said, ‘a frog may try to pump in air inside its body as much as it wants, but it can never become an elephant’. May be Shinde has this misunderstanding which Uddhav Thackeray had in the past, he added. State BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, though there was some sourness after Tuesday’s ad, everything is now alright after the new ad. ‘There are quarrels sometimes in a family, but the matter has been resolved’, he said. Bawankule knows, Eknath Shinde deliberately got the first ad published to project himself as a leader bigger than Fadnavis, but when he found BJP leadership’s anger, he made a U-turn. Now, the excuse is being given as to how the first ad got published. I would rather like to give a pat on NCP leader Ajit Pawar’s back, who had predicted on Tuesday itself, “you will find another ad published tomorrow”. His words were proved true. But how did this happen? And why? Let me share some information. From what I have learnt, BJP leaders, after publication of the Tuesday ad, showed Chief Minister Shinde his place at the cabinet meeting. Devendra Fadnavis was also present in the cabinet meeting. Soon after the government business was over, bureaucrats were asked to go out of the room, and then BJP ministers fired salvos at the CM asking what exactly he wanted? Why did he issue the ad? Shinde had no clear reply. BJP leaders bluntly told the CM that without BJP’s support, Shinde will not find enough audience to fill up seats at his public meetings. Some BJP ministers told Shinde that if such errors are not rectified, BJP will clearly show who stands where. The Chief Minister was clearly on his backfoot. He promised to correct the mistake the next day with a new ad. By late night, the ad material was prepared and full page ads came out in daily newspapers on Wednesday. Devendra Fadnavis’ displeasure is still not over. On Wednesday, both Shinde and Fadnavis were supposed to attend an event of Maharashtra State Transport, but the deputy CM did not attend, citing illness. Even as the event was going on, Fadnavis was busy in a meeting with UP minister Suresh Khanna at his residence. The message is clear: Shinde has caused hurt to Fadnavis by publishing the first ad. It will take time to heal.

इस वक्त गुजरात पर तूफान की तबाही का खतरा मंडरा रहा है. ये तूफान अरब सागर से गुजरात तट की तरफ बढ़ रहा है और गुरुवार शाम तक तट से होकर गुज़रेगा. इसके कारण पूरे गुजरात के समुद्री तट, महाराष्ट्र, गोवा, कर्नाटक से लेकर केरल तक सभी राज्यों में तैयारियां ज़ोरों पर है. सरकार इस खतरे से निपटने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर काम कर रही है. स्थानीय प्रसासन के साथ साथ NDRF, SDRF, नौसेना, वायु सेना , तटरक्षक दल, थल सेना को भी सतर्क रखा गया है. गुजरात के तटवर्ती इलाकों में सागर से 10 किलोमीटर तक के इलाके को खाली करवा लिया गया है. 34 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों को सुरक्षित जगहों पर भेजा गया है. कांडला, मुंद्रा, ओखा, जखुआ बंदरगाहों पर हजारों कंटेनर्स को फिक्स कर दिया गया है, जिससे तूफानी हवाओं के कारण उन्हें कोई नुकसान न हो. इसी तरह जो बड़े जहाज तट पर थे, उन्हें समुद्र में भेजा गया है जिससे तूफान की वजह से जहाजों को तट से टकराने का खतरा न हो. मौसम विभाग का कहना है कि बिपरजॉय नाम का तूफान जब तट तक पहुंचेगा, तो 125 से 150 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलेगी. गुजरात के तटवर्ती जिलों में अभी से तेज बारिश शुरु हो गई है. पच्चीस साल पहले 1998 में गुजरात के इसी इलाके में भयानक तूफान आया था, सौ से ज्यादा लोगों की जानें गई थी, भारी तबाही हुई थी, और अब जिस बिपरजॉय तूफान का डर है, जो 25 साल पहले आए तूफान से ज्यादा खतरनाक है. गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने भविष्य की तरफ जो इशारा किया, वो वाकई डराने वाला है. अब प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की संख्या बढ़ रही है, और उसकी तीव्रता भी बढ़ रही है. अब से पहले तक जितने तूफान आते थे, उनका असर दो से पांच दिन तक रहता था. बिपरजॉय तूफान अरब सागर से 6 दिन पहले उठा था और इसका असर 10 दिनों तक रह सकता है. ये सबसे लंबे समय तक रहने वाला तूफान है. IIT मद्रास की स्टडी में ये सामने आया है कि ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के प्रभाव में अरब सागर के ऊपर चक्रवाती तूफान लगातार और गंभीर होते जा रहे हैं। पिछले चार दशकों में अरब सागर में तूफान के ड्यूरेशन में 260% का इजाफा देखा गया. सिर्फ तूफान के मामलों में नहीं, बेमौसम बारिश, बेमौसम बर्फबारी, तेज़ गर्मी, सूखा , इस तरह के बदलाव देखने को मिल रहे हैं. आप ये जानकर हैरान हो जाएंगे कि विशाखापट्टनम में सौ साल में पहली बार तापमान 43 डिग्री से ऊपर रिकॉर्ड किया गया. हिमालय के ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में इस बार बर्फ की चादर 45 फीट तक जम चुकी है, जबकि जून के महीने में आम तौर पर सिर्फ तीस फीट तक बर्फ रहती थी. तीसरी बात, जब तटवर्ती इलाकों में तूफान की आशंका है, उसी वक्त दिल्ली, पंजाब, हरियाणा, आन्ध्र, बिहार, झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ और उड़ीसा में हीटवेव का एलर्ट जारी किया गया है, जबकि हिमाचल और उत्तरखंड के कई इलाकों में बर्फबारी की चेतावनी दी गई है. यानी जून के महीने में देश में बारिश, बर्फवारी और हीटवेव सब साथ साथ हो रहे हैं. ये ग्लोबल वॉर्मिंग का असर है. इसीलिए वैज्ञानिक बार बार प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की चेतावनी दे रहे हैं और सरकार उसी के हिसाब से रणनीति बना रही है.

भारतीय लोकतंत्र को जैक डोर्सी से प्रमाणपत्र नहीं चाहिए

ट्विटर के पूर्व CEO जैक डोर्सी के एक बयान को लेकर विरोधी दलों ने सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ हल्ला बोल दिया. एक इंटरव्यू में जैक डोर्सी ने दावा किया था कि जब वो ट्विटर के CEO थे, तो भारत सरकार ने उन पर बहुत दबाव डाला था. सरकार की आलोचना करने वालों के ट्विटर एकाउंट्स बंद करने को कहा था, किसान आंदोलन की ख़बरें रोकने को कहा था. जैक डोर्सी का ये बयान जैसे ही ट्विटर पर ट्रेंड करने लगा, वैसे ही विपक्षी दल मैदान में आ गए. किसी ने प्रधानमंत्री को कायर कहा. किसी ने नरेन्द्र मोदी को डरपोक कहा, किसी ने मोदी को तानाशाह बताया, लेकिन सरकार ने जैक डोर्सी के बयान को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया, इसे सफेद झूठ बताया. हालांकि जैक डोर्सी अब टिवटर के साथ नहीं हैं, वो फिलहाल BLOCK नाम से अपना फिनांशियल एप चला रहे हैं, जिसका शायद लोग नाम भी न जानते हों, लेकिन जैक ने अब ये बयान क्यों दिया, इसकी वजह तो जैक डोर्सी ही जानते होंगे. जैक डोर्सी के बयान पर दुनिया के किसी देश में कोई चर्चा भी नहीं हुई, लेकिन हमारे देश में उनके बयान को हाथों-हाथ लिया गया. कांग्रेस, आम आदमी पार्टी, उद्धव ठाकरे की शिव सेना, NCP जैसे तमाम दलों ने जैक डोर्सी के बयान का हवाला देकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी पर हमला किया. कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत तो हिटलर और मोदी की फोटो लेकर आईं, दोनों तस्वीरें साथ साथ दिखा और कहा, तानाशाह डरपोक है, मोदी कायर है. पहली बात तो ये कि जिन जैक डोर्सी की बात को लेकर इतनी हाय-तौबा मचाई जा रही है, वो कोई दूध के धुले नहीं हैं. 2020 के अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में उनकी भूमिका पक्षपातपूर्ण रही थी. इसको लेकर उनकी काफी आलोचना हुई थी. दूसरी बात, हमारे देश में लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्य जीवित हैं, या उनकी हत्या कर दी गई, ये बताने के लिए हमें किसी अमेरिकन कंपनी के फॉर्मर सीईओ की जरूरत नहीं. अगर किसी की जिद है कि किसी अमेरिकन से ही सर्टिफिकेट लेना है तो जो बाइडेन की बात सुननी चाहिए. बाइडेन ने मोदी को फेमिली डिनर पर बुलाया है. तीसरी बात, ये कमेंट ऐसे वक्त में आए हैं, जब भारत के प्रधानमंत्री अमेरिका की राजकीय यात्रा पर जाने वाले हैं. ये कोई सीक्रेट नहीं है कि मोदी की ये अमेरिका यात्रा ऐतिहासिक है. व्हाइट हाउस में भारत के प्रधानमंत्री के सम्मान में डिनर, वॉशिंगटन में हमारे प्रधानमंत्री का अमेरिकी संसद की संयुक्त बैठक में दूसरी बार संबोधन, अमेरिका के साथ रक्षा सौदों की तैयारी, ये सब किसी व्यक्ति से नहीं, हमारे देश के मान सम्मान से जुड़ी बात है. इसलिए ट्विटर के फॉर्मर सीईओ की बातों की परछाईं इस पर न पड़े, ये हम सबको सोचना है. चुनाव के साल में बहुत से लोग बहुत सी बाते कहेंगे, लेकिन अपने झगड़े, अपने मतभेद, हम अपने यहां सुलाझाएं तो बेहतर होगा. भारत की राजनीति को किसी भी तरह से विदेशी ताकतों के हाथ की कठपुतली न बनने दें, ये सबको सुनिश्चित करना होगा. वैसे हमारी आदत है कि कोई अमेरिकन या ब्रिटिश कुछ कह दे तो उसे परम सत्य मान लेते हैं.

हरियाणा : किसान हित कम, राजनीति चमकाने का मौका

हरियाणा के कुरक्षेत्र में किसानों द्वारा 33 घंटे से लगाया गया हाईवे जाम मंगलवार शाम को खत्म हो गया. मुद्दा था सूरजमुखी के दामों का, किसान धरने पर बैठे थे. कई दौर की बातचीत के बाद सरकार ने किसान संगठनों की मांगे मान लीं. जिला प्रशासन ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि सरकार किसानों से समुचित दाम पर सूरजमुखी की फसल खरीदेगी और किसान नेता गुरनाम सिंह चढूनी और आठ अन्य लोगों को जेल से रिहा करेगी. प्रशासन ने किसानों के खिलाफ दायर मामलों को वापस लेने का आश्वसन भी दे दिया है. ये अच्छी बात है कि मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर की सरकार ने किसानों की बात मान ली. लेकिन किसानों का आंदोलन खत्म नहीं होगा. इसका इशारा राकेश टिकैत की बात से मिल गया. राकेश टिकैत जानते हैं कि अगले साले लोकसभा चुनाव है. हरियाणा में भी विधानसभा चुनाव होंगे. इसलिए सरकार पर दबाव बनाने का ये अच्छा मौका है. गुरनाम सिंह चढूनी ने पिछले आंदोलन के वक्त ही पार्टी बनाकर चुनाव लड़ने का ऐलान कर दिया था, उस वक्त उनकी तमन्ना पूरी नहीं हो पाई. हो सकता है, इस बार हो जाए, और इसके लिए फिर से आंदोलन की भूमिका बन रही है. कुल मिलाकर मामला किसानों के हित का कम, अपनी राजनीति चमकाने का ज्यादा है.

Gujarat is bracing up for a very severe cyclonic storm ‘Biparjoy’ (meaning disaster in Bengali) which is supposed to make a landfall by Thursday night at a maximum speed of 150 km per hour. As the cyclone nears Gujarat coast, parts of Saurashtra-Kutch region witnessed heavy rains on Wednesday. More than 34,000 people have been evacuated to safer places in Kutch, while nine towns have been completely shut down. BSF jawans are providing shelter to people in their border outposts in Kutch, while Bhuj airport has been closed till Friday. Sixty-nine trains have been cancelled and 33 trains have been short terminated. On Wednesday afternoon, the cyclone was centred 290 km west south-west of Dwarka and 280 km away from Jakhau port. The last severe cyclone that Gujarat witnessed was nearly 25 years ago, in 1998, when more than 100 people lost their lives amidst big devastation. The number of natural disasters has increased and their intensity has also increased. Earlier, cyclonic storms used to last for two to five days, but Cyclone Biparjoy, that rose from Arabian Sea six days ago, will continue to wreak havoc for ten days. An IIT Madras study says, cyclonic storms in Arabian Sea have started increasing due to global warming. In the last four decades, the duration of cyclonic storms has registered a 260 per cent increase. Global warming is not only causing cyclonic storms, but also unseasonal rains, snowfall, excessive heat wave and drought. The coastal city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius, which is said to be the highest in the last 100 years. On Himalayan heights, snow sheets 45 feet deep were noticed this year, whereas in June, snow used to be hardly up to 30 feet. On one hand, cyclonic storms threaten both western and eastern coasts, and on the other hand, an orange heat wave alert has been issued for Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Snowfall has taken place in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In a nutshell, India is witnessing cyclone, rains, snowfall and heatwave simultaneously in the month of June. This is due to global warming. Scientists have been warning about natural disasters due to global warming and it is time for governments to wake up and take notice.

INDIA DOES NOT NEED JACK DORSEY’S CERTIFICATE

India has described former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s allegation as “an outright lie” that the Modi government had threatened Twitter with shutdown and raids on its employees. “No one went to jail, nor was Twitter shut down”, said Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrashekhar. The minister alleged that Twitter was not complying with Indian laws repeatedly from 2020 to 2022, during Dorsey’s tenure. “Our focus was only on ensuring the compliance of Indian laws”, he said. Opposition leaders from Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Shiv Sena (UT) and NCP alleged that Dorsey’s revelation has proved that the Modi government has been exerting pressure on Twitter to stifle freedom of expression. Let me put the record straight. First, Jack Dorsey is not so innocent as he seems to be. His role as CEO of Twitter during the US presidential elections in 2020 was partisan, and he had to face criticism. Secondly, to judge whether democratic values are alive or being crushed in India, does not need corroboration from a former CEO of an American company. If somebody insists on taking certificates from the US, one must hear what US President Joe Biden is going to say during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit. Biden has invited Modi to a family dinner. Thirdly, Dorsey’s comment comes at a time when India’s Prime Minister will be going on a state visit to USA. This visit is going to be a historic one. Modi will be addressing the joint session of US Congress in Washington. A big defence deal between India and the US is in the works. This is not related to an individual, but it is linked to the prestige of our great nation. A former Twitter CEO’s remarks must not cast a shadow on India-US relations. We must think about that. In an election year, sundry people are going to say things, but it would be better if we iron out our differences and quarrels, here in India. We must not allow Indian politics to become puppet in the hands of foreign forces. All of us will have to ensure this. Usually, it is our habit to consider any American or a British personality saying something about India as pure gospel. Since Jack Dorsey also alleged that Indian government tried to pressurize Twitter to block accounts related to farmer protests, farmer leaders like Rakesh Tikait have welcomed his remark.

HARYANA: FARMERS CALL OFF PROTEST

Protesting farmers, blocking the National Highway in Haryana for more than 33 hours, called off their protest on Tuesday evening after the Kurukshetra district administration assured them of “appropriate price” for purchase of sunflower seeds and release of farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni and others who were arrested on June 6. It is good that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s government in Haryana has accepted the demands of farmers. But Rakesh Tikait and his followers are not going to give up. With Lok Sabha elections scheduled for next year, and assembly elections in Haryana early next year, Tikait finds this an opportune time to pile up pressure on the government. Another farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni had declared his intentions to contest elections by forming a party. The farmers’ protest seems to be a precursor to his poll preparations. In a nutshell, it is not farmers’ interest but a plan to reap political harvest.

सबसे पहले अच्छी खबर. अगले साल 22 जनवरी को रामभक्तों का 500 सालों का इंतजार खत्म हो जाएगा. 2024 में, सोमवार के दिन, 22 जनवरी को ,अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा होगी. उसके बाद राममंदिर भक्तों के लिए खुल जाएगा. रामजन्म भूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्रट्रस्ट ने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम का निमंत्रण प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को भेजा था. इंडिया टीवी के पॉलिटिकल एडीटर देवेन्द्र पाराशर ने जानकारी दी है कि प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय ने 22 जनवरी की तिथि पर सहमति दे दी है. मोदी अयोध्या में 22 जनवरी को होने वाले एतिहासिक कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि होंगे और रामलाल की मूर्ति की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा करेंगे. अयोध्या में बन रहे भव्य और दिव्य राम मंदिर के गर्भगृह का काम करीब करीब पूरा हो गया है. गर्भगृह में ही रामलला विराजमान होंगें, जिसके दरवाजों में स्वर्ण कलाकृतियां बनाई जाएंगीं. राम लला के गर्भगृह में मकराना के संगमरमर का इस्तेमाल किया गया है. गर्भ गृह के अलावा मंदिर में पांच मंडप हैं – गूढ़ मंडप, रंग मंडप, नृत्य मंडप, प्रार्थना मंडप और कीर्तन मंडप. इन पांचों मंडपों के गुंबद का आकार 34 फीट चौड़ा और 32 फीट लंबा है. मकर संक्रांति के एक हफ्ते के बाद शुभ मुहूर्त में 22 जनवरी को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा भी हो जाएगी. राम लला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का कार्यक्रम करीब सात दिनों तक चलेगा, जिसके बाद देश-विदेश से आने वाले भक्त नए मंदिर में राम लला के दर्शन कर पाएंगे. गर्भगृह के प्लिंथ का काम पूरा हो चुका है, मंदिर की दीवारें भी बन चुकी हैं. अब दीवारों पर नक्काशी का काम हो रहा है. आजकल राममंदिर में रामलला के गर्भगृह के ऊपरी हिस्से पर निर्माण कार्य चल रहा है. ये काम चार महीने के बाद अक्टूबर तक पूरा हो जाएगा. इसके बाद मंदिर में लकड़ी का काम शुरू होगा. इसमें मंदिर के दरवाजे, खिडकियां और लकड़ी की नक्काशी का काम होगा. मंदिर में द्वार बनाने के लिए महाराष्ट्र के चंद्रपुर से सागौन की लकड़ी अयोध्या पहुंच चुकी है. चन्द्रपुर की सागौन की लकड़ी सबसे अच्छी और मजबूत मानी जाती है. इसकी लाइफ कम से कम एक हजार साल तक होती है. लड़की का काम शुरू होने से पहले काष्ठ पूजा इसी महीने के अन्त तक हो सकती है, जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे मौजूद रहेंगे. राम लला का भव्य मंदिर कई मायनों में बेहद खास है. ये भूकंपरोधी इमारत है. दावा ये किय़ा जा रहा है कि राम मंदिर को अगले 1 हजार साल तक किसी प्रकार की कोई क्षति नहीं होगी. 161 फीट ऊंचे मंदिर में कहीं भी लोहे का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया गया है. पत्थर को जोड़ने के लिए तांबे की छड़ों का इस्तेमाल किया गया है. 392 नक्काशीदार खंभों पर टिके मंदिर के गर्भ गृह को सफेद मार्बल से बनाया जा रहा है. मंदिर में दरवाजे की चौखट, फर्श, गर्भ गृह का द्वार भी मकराना के सफेद मार्बल से बनाया जा रहा है. इस पत्थर पर बारीक नक्काशी भी की जा रही है, जो देखने में अद्भुत है. मकराना के सफेद मार्बल की खासियत होती है कि ये 100 साल तक अपना रंग नहीं बदलते . मकर संक्रांति से पहले मंदिर का पहला फ्लोर पूरा तरह तैयार हो जाएगा. 22 जनवरी को रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के बाद मंदिर भक्तों के लिए खोल दिया जाएगा. इसके बाद 71 एकड़ में फैले परिसर में दूसरे मंदिर और मंडप बनाने का काम चलता रहेगा. राम मंदिर करोड़ों लोगों की श्रद्धा का केंद्र है, इसलिए इसका निर्माण एक राजनीतिक संदेश भी होगा. राम मंदिर का निर्माण प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के उन ऐतिहासिक संकल्पों में से एक है, जिसे उन्होंने सिद्धि तक पहुंचाया. 5 अगस्त 2020 को मोदी ने राम मंदिर की आधार शिला रखी थी और सिर्फ साढ़े तीन साल में ये मंदिर बनकर तैयार हो रहा है. जिस रफ्तार से ये काम हुआ वो अपने आप में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि है. हैरानी की बात ये है कि आजादी के बाद नरेन्द्र मोदी ऐसे पहले प्रधानमंत्री थे जिन्होंने अयोध्या जाकर रामलला के दर्शन किए. इसके बाद उन्हीं के कार्यकाल में अब रामलला टेंट से निकलकर भव्य और दिव्य राम मंदिर में विराजेंगे. जाहिर है अगले लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी इसे अपनी एक बड़ी उपलब्धि के तौर पर पेश करेगी. विरोधी दल भी इस बात को समझ रहे हैं.

कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी ने मध्यप्रदेश में कांग्रेस के चुनाव अभियान की शुरूआत सोमवार को नर्मदा पूजन से की. प्रियंका जबलपुर पहुंची. जबलपुर को मध्यप्रदेश की संस्कार राजधानी कहा जाता है. यहीं से नर्मदा के तट पर खड़े होकर प्रियंका गांधी ने कांग्रेस के कैंपेन का शंखनाद किया. इस मौके पर प्रियंका के साथ पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ और अन्य कांग्रेस नेता मौजूद थे. ग्वारीघाट पर 101 ब्राह्मणों के साथ प्रियंका गांधी ने करीब 20 मिनट तक मां नर्मदा की आरती की. जबलपुर में प्रियंका के प्रोग्राम में वो सारे नज़ारे दिखे, जो आमतौर पर बीजेपी के प्रोग्राम्स में दिखते हैं. अबये साफ हो गया है कि कांग्रेस चुनाव के दौरान सॉफ्ट हिन्दुत्व के रास्ते पर नहीं, पूरी तरह से हिन्दुत्व और भक्ति के मार्ग पर चलेगी. विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस मध्य प्रदेश में खुलकर हिंदुत्व की पिच में बैटिंग कर रही है. जबलपुर में प्रियंका गांधी के स्वागत में पार्टी के झंड़े बैनर और नेताओं की तस्वीरों के साथ साथ बजरंगबली की फोटो, चौराहों पर बजरंग बली की गदा भी दिखाई दी. शहर में हनुमान जी का भेष बनाए हुए कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ता भी दिखे. कुल मिलाकर माहौल भक्तिमय था, लेकिन रैली में बातें सियासी हुईं. प्रियंका ने कांग्रेस की तरफ से पांच वादे किए, कहा, महिलाओं को हर महीने 1500 रूपए मिलेंगे, गैसे सिलेंडर पांच सौ रूपए में मिलेगा, 100 यूनिट बिजली मुफ्त होगी, पुराने पेंशन स्कीम लागू होगी, किसानों के कर्ज भी माफ होंगे. कर्नाटक के बाद अब कांग्रेस को मध्य प्रदेश से भी बड़ी उम्मीदें हैं. कर्नाटक की तरह मध्य प्रदेश में भी कांग्रेस ने गारंटी देनी शुरू कर दी हैं. चूंकि मध्य प्रदेश के लोग धार्मिक हैं, भक्ति भाव से भरे हुए हैं, इसलिए कांग्रेस ने सॉफ्ट हिन्दुत्व का रास्ता छोड़कर हार्ड हिन्दुत्व का मार्ग पकड़ा है. कमलनाथ पहले से ही पूरे मध्य प्रदेश में हनुमान चालीसा और भागवत कथा का आयोजन करवा चुके हैं. प्रियंका गांधी ने नर्मदा की आरती से चुनाव मुहिम की शुरूआत करके कांग्रेस की रणनीति स्पष्ट कर दी है, लेकिन कांग्रेस के नेता जानते हैं कि बीजेपी से उसकी पिच पर जाकर मुकाबला करना आसान नहीं होगा. शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने इस मामले में कड़े मुकाबले के संकेत दे दिए हैं. प्रियंका ने नर्मदा की आरती की, तो शिवराज चौहान ने कटनी में हरिहर तीर्थ की आधारशिला रख दी. कटनी में जगद्गुरु रामभद्राचार्य और स्वामी अवधेशानंद गिरी महाराज के साथ हरिहर तीर्थ का भूमिपूजन कर दिया. विजयराघवगढ़ विधानसभा के राम राजा पहाड़ पर इस तीर्थ क्षेत्र का निर्माण कार्य करवाया जाएगा, जिसे हरिहर तीर्थ का नाम दिया गया है. बंजारी के रामराजा पहाड़ पर चारों धाम के दर्शन होंगे, यहां 108 फीट ऊंची अष्टधातु से बनी भगवान परशुराम की प्रतिमा स्थापित होगी. बीजेपी के नेता तो हमेशा से राम मंदिर के निर्माण की बात करते आए हैं. नरेंद्र मोदी के 9 साल के शासन में काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर और उज्जैन के महाकाल को भव्य स्वरूप दिया गया, पर कांग्रेस के बड़े बड़े नेता नर्मदा की आरती करें, हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ करें, .कांग्रेस के कार्यालयों में भगवा ध्वज लहराएं, ये कांग्रेस की राजनीति में बड़ा बदलाव है. पहले कांग्रेस के नेता राम का नाम लेने से कतराते थे, हनुमान मंदिर में जाने से बचते थे, अब नज़ारा बदल गया है. इसीलिए इस बार मध्य प्रदेश का चुनाव दिलचस्प रहेगा. कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के बीच इस बात का मुकाबला देखने को मिलेगा कि कौन बड़ा हिन्दुत्ववादी है, कौन हिन्दुओं का बड़ा पैरोकार है, किसकी भक्ति ज्यादा सच्ची है. बीजेपी इस मामले में थोड़ा फायदे में है क्योंकि बीजेपी की छवि हिन्दू समाज के अधिकारों के लिए लड़ने वाली पार्टी की रही है. शिवराज सिंह चौहान कांग्रेस की भक्ति को चुनावी बताएंगे और खुद को प्रखर हिन्दुत्ववादी साबित करेंगे, कांग्रेस के लिए थोड़ा मुश्किल होगा क्योंकि अब तक तो कांग्रेस के नेता दरगाहों पर चादर चढ़ाते नजर आते थे. कांग्रेस हिन्दुओं के वोट लेना चाहती है लेकिन मुसलमानों को नाराज भी नहीं करना चाहती. इसीलिए अमेरिका के शिकागो में AIMIM के मुखिय़ा असद्दुदीन ओवैसी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस जो काम बारीकी से करती है, वही काम बीजेपी खुलकर करती है.

उत्तरकाशी : ओवैसी के आरोप का कोई औचित्य नहीं

उत्तरकाशी में लव जिहाद के मुद्दे पर इस वक्त तनाव है. पिछले दिनों एक मुस्लिम युवक ने एक नाबालिग हिंदू लड़की को अपने साथ भगा ले जाने की कोशिश की थी. हिंदू संगठनों ने इसे लव जिहाद का मामला बताकर आरोपियों के ख़िलाफ़ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की. 15 जून को उत्तरकाशी के हिंदू संगठनों ने इस मसले पर महापंचायत बुलाई है. नगर में कुछ जगहों पर मुसलमानों की कुछ दुकानों पर पोस्टर चिपकाए गए हैं. उनसे शहर छोड़कर जाने के लिए कहा गया है. हिंदू संगठन पिछले कई दिनों से लव जिहाद के ख़िलाफ़ विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं. 10 जून को स्थानीय लोगों ने एक पंचायत की थी और लव जिहाद की घटना के ख़िलाफ़ अपनी दुकानें बंद रखी थीं. तीर्थ पुरोहितों का कहना है कि विरोध प्रदर्शन शान्तिपूर्ण रहे. लोगों को कानून हाथ में नहीं लेना चाहिए लेकिन अपनी संस्कृति को बचाने के लिए लव जिहाद का विरोध जरूरी है. सरकार को ऐसी घटनाएं रोकने के लिए कड़ा कानून बनाना चाहिए. उत्तराखंड पुलिस मुसलिम दुकानदारों की सुरक्षा का भरोसा दे रही है, लेकिन AIMIM के प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी का कहना है कि सुरक्षा के वादों से क्या होगा, भड़काऊ बयान दिए जा रहे हैं, मुसलमानों को दुकानें बंद करने को कहा जा रहा है. ओवैसी ने अमेरिका में उत्तरकाशी की घटना को हिटलर के दौर के जर्मनी से जोड़ दिया, कहा, हिटलर के राज में जिस तरह यहूदियों के घरों पर स्टार ऑफ डेविड का निशान बनाकर, उन्हें टारगेट किया जाता था, आज वही हाल बीजेपी के शासन वाले राज्यों में हो रहा है. उत्तराखंड के सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी कह रहे हैं कि उनकी सरकार इस मामले को लेकर गंभीर है, संवेदनशील है. धामी ने खुद उत्तरकाशी जाकर लोगों से मुलाक़ात की. ये सही है कि पिछले कुछ दिनों में उत्तरकाशी की कुछ तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया पर सर्कुलेट हुईं, जिनमें कुछ दुकानों के बाहर क्रॉस का निशान लगा था, कुछ पोस्टर्स सर्कुलेट हुए जिनमें कहा गया था कि बाहरी मुसलमान 15 जून से पहले यहां से चले जाएं. इस तरह के पोस्टर्स चिंता की बात है. सरकार ने इसको गंभीरता से लिया है. पुलिस ने सख्त रूख अपनाया है, ये अच्छी बात है. मुस्लिम भाइय़ों को भी अपना कारोबार करने का, तरक्की करने का उतना ही हक है, जितना किसी दूसरे धर्म के लोगों को, लेकिन अगर कहीं कोई घटना होती है, कुछ लोग शरारत करते हैं, किसी मुद्दे को लेकर लोगों में थोड़ी बहुत नाराजगी है, तो इसके आधार पर ये कहना ठीक नहीं है कि मुसलमानों के साथ हिन्दुस्तान में वैसा ही सलूक हो रहा है जैसा हिटलर के दौर में जर्मनी में यहूदियों के साथ हुआ था. ओबैसी के इस तरह के बयान का कोई औचित्य नहीं है. अमेरिका में जाकर राहुल गांधी ने भी इसी तरह की बातें की थी, अमेरिका के मीडिया के एक हिस्से में भारत को लेकर इसी तरह की अवधारणा बनाने की कोशिश की गई. कुछ मामलों में पाकिस्तानी प्रचार तंत्र का रोल दिखाई देता है, इसलिए विदेश में जाकर कुछ भी कहने से पहले हमारे नेताओं को सावधान रहने की जरूरत है.

First, the good news. The nearly 500-year-long wait for the Ramjanmabhoomi Temple will be over on January 22 next year. On that Monday, devotees of Lord Rama can enter the huge temple after the installation (Pran Pratistha) of the idol of Ram Lalla (young Rama). Almost 500 years ago, at this spot, Babri Masjid was built in 1528-29 after the demolition of Ramjanmasthan temple by a commander of Mughal emperor Babur. The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has sent an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the historic ceremony on January 22. India TV political editor Devendra Parashar reports that the PMO has accepted the invitation. The Prime Minister will be the chief guest at the ceremony to instal the idol of Ram Lalla. The plinth work of the sanctum sanctorum is almost complete and carving work on the wooden doors is in progress. Golden inlay work will be done on the doors and the famous Makrana marble has been used inside the sanctum sanctorum. Teak wood from Chandrapur, Maharashtra, which has a durability of more than a thousand years, will be used to build the doors. The ‘kaastha pooja’ (wood ceremony) will take place this month-end. It will be attended by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and UP CM Yogi Adityanath. In the temple complex, there will be five ‘mandaps’, each 35 feet wide and 32 feet long. The installation date January 22 falls a week after the annual Makar Sankranti. The ceremony will continue for seven days and devotees from India and abroad are expected. The 161-feet high Ram Temple is quake resistant and can withstand weather disturbances for more than a thousand years. No iron has been used in the entire temple complex. Copper rods have been used to fix the stone slabs. 392 beautifully carved pillars support the sanctum sanctorum made of white marble. The famous Makrana marble never changes colour even after a hundred years. The first floor of the temple will be ready before next year’s Makar Sankranti (January 14). The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is the centre of faith for millions of Hindus spread across India and the rest of the globe. It has been one of the several ‘sankalp’(resolves) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was Modi who laid the foundation of the temple on August 5, 2020, and the temple is now ready to be opened in three and a half years. This is a big achievement. It is surprising that Narendra Modi was the first Prime Minister of India, who visited Ayodhya for the ‘darshan’ of Ram Lalla, when it was inside a makeshift tent after the demolition of Babri mosque. And it is during his tenure as PM, that Ram Lalla will be shifted from a tent to the gorgeous new temple. The ruling BJP is naturally going to project this as one of its great achievements. The opposition leaders do understand its nuances for the common voters.

CONGRESS : THE NEW HINDU PARTY

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi was in Jabalpur on Monday to address a party rally to launch its Madhya Pradesh election campaign. Before addressing the rally, she went to the banks of river Narmada, considered sacred by Hindus, and along with former CM Kamal Nath and other leaders, performers prayers at Gwari Ghat, in front of 101 Brahmins. It is now clear that the Congress, instead of adopting a soft Hindutva stance, will go all out to woo Hindus through the path of devotion. On the roads leading to the rally grounds, Congress displayed posters of Bajrangbali holding a mace, while several party workers, dressed as Lord Hanuman, went to the rally. At the rally, Priyanka Gandhi announced ‘5 guarantees’ if Congress was brought to power in MP. These promises include Rs 1,500 monthly assistance to every eligible woman, LPG cylinders at Rs 500 each, 100 units of free electricity, and implementation of old pension scheme for government staff. After its victory in Karnataka assembly elections, Congress has pinned its hopes on Madhya Pradesh by announcing ‘5 guarantees’, as it did in Karnataka. Since most of the Hindu voters in MP are religious in nature, the party has decided to abandon its soft Hindutva line and project itself as a proponent of hardline Hindutva. Already, Kamal Nath had been organizing Hanuman Chalisa recitation and Bhagwad Katha across Madhya Pradesh, and Priyanka Gandhi has approved this line by performing ‘aarti’ of river Narmada. Congress leaders, however, know that it would not be easy to counter BJP on Hindutva pitch. While Priyanka was performing prayer of Narmada, MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation of Harihar Teerth temple in Katni on Monday, in the presence of Jagatguru Rambhadracharya and Swami Avadheshananda Giri. BJP leaders, since the Nineties, have been espousing the cause of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the face of Kashi Vishwanath temple and Ujjain Mahakaal shrine during his nine years’ tenure. Congress leaders are now following the Hindutva path, by performing ‘aarti’ of Narmada, reciting Hanuman Chalisa and even hoisting saffron flags on party offices. This is a sea change in Congress politics. Earlier, Congress leaders used to baulk on uttering ‘Jai Shri Ram’, and refrained from visiting Hanuman temples. The situation has now completely changed. The assembly election this year in Madhya Pradesh will be really interesting. Both BJP and Congress are in the race projecting themselves as real proponents of Hindutva. BJP seems to be slightly ahead in the race because the party has been known to publicly espouse the rights of Hindu community. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is going to label the new-found ‘devotion’ of Congress as poll-oriented. For Congress leaders, to prove that they are staunch Hindutva supporters will be a tall order. Till last year, Congress leaders used to go to dargahs to offer ‘chadar’, but now their strategy has changed. In faraway Chicago, USA, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi explained to his audience the difference between Congress and BJP on the issue of Hindutva. He said, ‘what Congress is doing in a subtle manner, BJP does it openly’.

OWAISI’S COMMENTS ON UTTARKASHI INCIDENT UNJUSTIFIED

There is tension in the small town of Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand after a ‘love jihad’ incident. Hindu outfits have called a Mahapanchayat on June 15 (Thursday), and prior to this, posters have appeared in the town asking Muslim shopkeepers to leave the town. Hindu outfits have been staging protests after a ‘love jihad’ incident. On Saturday, Hindu traders closed their shops and held a panchayat. Temple priests have been appealing to people to maintain peace, but at the same time, asked authorities to enact a strong law to stop ‘love jihad’ cases. V. Murugesan, Additional DGP (Law and Order) of Uttarakhand said, till now, no complaint has come from any shopkeeper of Hindu outfits threatening people to leave the town. In Chicago, USA, Asaduddin Owaisi compared this threat with Hitler’s Germany. He alleged that Muslims are being targeted like the Jews who were targeted in Germany during Hitler’s rule. Uttarkhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami went to Uttarkashi and met local residents. He warned of strict action against anybody going against the law. It is true that some pictures have been circulated on social media of some shops in Uttarkashi bearing cross sign, and posters shown asking ‘outsider Muslims’ to quit the town by June 15. Such threats are worrying and the state government has also taken it seriously. Muslim shopkeepers have the same right as Hindus to engage in trade, but it is unjustified to allege, on the basis of such posters, that Muslims in India are being given the same treatment that the Jews got in Hitler’s Germany. Such a remark from a barrister like Owaisi is highly unjustified. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also made some comments in the US, and a section of American media tried to create a wrong perception about India. In some cases, the role of Pakistan’s propaganda machine is evident. Indian leaders should be careful before making such comments outside the country.

भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ के अध्यक्ष बृज भूषण शरण सिंह के बारे में एक बहुत बड़ा खुलासा हुआ है. अब तक वो कहते थे, मेरे खिलाफ सबूत ले आओ, गवाह ले आओ, मैं फांसी पर लटक जाऊंगा. शुक्रवार को गवाह और सबूत कैमरे के सामने आए. ये गवाह हैं, कुश्ती के अन्तरराष्ट्रीय रैफरी जगबीर सिंह. रैफरी ने कहा कि उन्होंने कई बार बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को महिला पहलवानों के साथ अश्लील हरकतें करते देखा है. जगबीर सिंह इससे पहले दिल्ली पुलिस के सामने भी अपना बयान दर्ज करवा चुके हैं. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ महिला पहलवानों ने जो इल्जाम लगाए उनकी जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने जिन 125 लोगों के बयान दर्ज किए, उस लिस्ट में जगबीर सिंह का नाम भी है. जगबीर सिंह ने कहा कि महिला पहलवानों ने जो इल्जाम लगाए हैं, वो बिल्कुल सही हैं. लड़कियों के साथ बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने गलत हरकतें की. दिल्ली पुलिस ने जगबीर सिंह से तो सिर्फ लखनऊ में टीम के सिलैक्शन के दौरान एक महिला रेसलर्स को गलत तरीके से छुए जाने के इल्जाम के बारे में पूछा लेकिन जगबीर सिंह ने इंडिया टीवी को इस काले कारनामे के अलावा कई और शर्मनाक हरकतों के दिन, तारीख, जगह और मौकों के बारे में बताया, जब बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने महिला पहलवानों को गलत तरीके से छूने की कोशिश की. हमारे संवाददाता अभय पाराशर ने जगबीर सिंह से बात की. बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को लेकर हंगामे से दूर जगबीर सिंह आज भी पहलवानों को कुश्ती के गुर सिखा रहे हैं. वो आजकल दिल्ली के चंदगीराम अखाड़े में ट्रेनिंग दे रहे हैं. इसी अखाड़े में जाकर अभय पाराशर ने जगबीर सिंह से बात की. बृजभूषण सिंह के खिलाफ पहलवानों ने जो FIR दर्ज करवाई है, उसमें लखनऊ की घटना का जिक्र है. आरोप ये है कि फोटो सेशन के दौरान बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने एक लड़की को गलत तरीके से touch किया. बृजभूषण की इस हरकत से लड़की बुरी तरह सहम गई. जगबीर सिंह ने कहा कि ये इल्जाम बिल्कुल सही है. उन्होंने अपनी आंखों से इस घटना को देखा, लड़की बुरी तरह डर गई थी, वहां से भागी और बृजभूषण से दूर जाकर खड़ी हो गई. जगबीर सिंह ने कहा कि ये घटना पिछले साल 25 मार्च की है. लखनऊ में उस वक्त सीनियर एशियन कुश्ती चैम्पियनशिप के लिए ट्रायल चल रहा था. ये चैम्पियनशिप मंगोलिया में होने वाली थी. ट्रायल खत्म होने के बाद फोटो सेशन में सभी पहलवान, कोच और खिलाड़ी फे़डरेशन के अध्यक्ष के साथ फोटो खिंचवा रहे थे, उसी वक्त बृजभूषण ने एक हैवीवेट महिला पहलवान के साथ गलत हरकत की.

जगबीर सिंह ने लखनऊ की घटना के बारे में पुलिस को बता दिया है लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस ने लखनऊ के अलावा और किसी मामले में उनसे कुछ पूछा नहीं, इसलिए उन्होंने बताया नहीं. जगबीर सिंह ने कहा कि बृजभूषण इस तरह की हरकतें अक्सर करते थे. अगर पुलिस उनसे दूसरे मामलों के बारे में पूछेगी तो वो इस तरह के कई वाक्यात बता सकते हैं. जगबीर सिंह पुराने पहलवान हैं. तीस साल से ज्यादा वक्त से कुश्ती से जुड़े हैं. 2007 से अन्तरराष्ट्रीय रेफरी के तौर पर काम करते हैं. इंटरनेशनल रेसलिंग में रेफरी जज के तौर पर आखिरी बार 2022 में विदेश गए थे. 13 जून को उन्हें एक बार फिर विदेश जाना था, लेकिन इस बार फेडरेशन ने उन्हें नहीं भेजा. जगबीर सिंह ने कहा कि बृजभूषण ने लखनऊ में जो हरकत की, उस तरह की हरकतें वो तब से करते हैं, जबसे फेडरेशन के अध्यक्ष बने. जगबीर सिंह ने 2013 का किस्सा बताया. कहा, 2013 में थाईलैंड टूर के दौरान बृजभूषण ने पहलवानों के लिए हिन्दुस्तानी खाने का इंतजाम करवाया. डिनर के वक्त जब बृजभूषण वहां पहुंचे तो नशे में थे., उन्होंने नशे की हालत में महिला पहलवानों के साथ गलत हरकत की, उन्हें गलत तरीके से छुआ. जगबीर सिंह की गवाही इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि उन्होंने बृजभूषण के खिलाफ कैमरे के सामने गवाही दी है. एक-एक बात, तारीख के साथ बताई है जबकि बृजभूषण लगातार ये कहते आए हैं कि उनके खिलाफ कोई सबूत नहीं है, यौन शोषण के आरोप लगने के बाद से बृजभूषण जब भी कैमरे के सामने आए या मंच पर कोई भाषण दिया, तो हर बार उन्होंने यही कहा कि अगर उनके खिलाफ किसी के पास कोई सबूत है तो उसे दिखाओ. वो ताल ठोंककर कहते आए हैं कि किस महिला पहलवान के साथ उन्होंने गलत हरकत की, कब की, कहां की, इसका सबूत कोई भी लाकर देगा, तो वो फांसी पर लटक जाएंगे.

जगबीर सिंह ने घटनाओं का ब्यौरा दिया है, बताया है कि बृजभूषण लड़कियों पर हमेशा गलत नजर रखते हैं. हालत ये थी कि फैडरेशन का अध्यक्ष बनने के बाद बृजभूषण ने ये नियम बना दिया था कि लड़कियों की कुश्ती के मैट उनके मंच के सामने ही लगेंगे, और 2012 के बाद से ऐसा ही हो रहा था. हर कॉम्पटीशन में वो महिला पहलवानों की रेसलिंग मैट अपने स्टेज के सामने ही लगवाते थे. जगबीर सिंह ने एक और खुलासा किया, बताया कि जब भी वो फैडरेशन के अध्यक्ष के तौर पर इंटरनेशनल टूर्नामेंट्स में शामिल होने विदेश जाते थे तो उनकी हमेशा यही कोशिश रहती थी कि वो उसी होटल में रुके, जहां महिला पहलवान ठहरी हैं. जगबीर सिंह ने बताया कि 2022 में बुल्गेरिया में कुश्ती चैम्पियनशिप थी, एक दिन सुबह-सुबह पहलवान प्रैक्टिस कर रहे थे, तभी वहां बृजभूषण पहुंच गए और महिला पहलवानों को कुश्ती के दांव सिखाने लगे, इस पर दूसरे देशों के रेफरी ने मज़ाक भी उड़ाया. अब तो पुलिस को मानना पड़ेगा कि देश की चैंपियन बेटियों ने जो आरोप लगाए हैं, उनमें दम है. अब तो प्रत्यक्षदर्शी कह रहा है कि बृज भूषण की पहलवान लड़कियों पर बुरी नजर रहती थी, जब भी मौका मिलता था वो उनके साथ गलत हरकतें करता था. दूसरी बात उस नाबालिग लड़की के बयान को लेकर है जिसकी शिकायत के आधार पर बृज भूषण पर पॉक्सो कानून (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) लगाया जा सकता है. इस लड़की के बयान को लेकर बार बार शक पैदा किया गया है. पहले उस नाबालिग लड़की को बालिग साबित करने की कोशिश की गई. जब ये नहीं हो पाया तो उसका बयान बदलवाने की कोशिश की जा रही है. कभी कहा गया कि उसने बयान वापस ले लिया, कभी कहा गया कि उसने झूठी शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी, कभी कहा गया कि वो अपनी शिकायत पर कायम है. इन सारी बातों से लगता है कि इस बात की पूरी कोशिश की जा रही है कि किसी तरह बृज भूषण पर पॉक्सो कानून न लगाया जा सके और उन्हें गिरफ्तार करने की नौबत न आए. कुल मिलाकर बृज भूषण हर वो चाल चल रहे थे जिससे केस को कमजोर किया जा सके, लेकिन रैफरी जगबीर सिंह ने सामने आकर बाजी पलट दी. अब लगता है कि और भी गवाह हिम्मत दिखाएंगे , कैमरे के सामने आएंगे, पब्लिक को सच बतताएंगे और बृज भूषण के लिए बचना मुश्किल होता जाएगा .

योगी ने किया एक तीर से दो शिकार

योगी आदित्यनाथ की सरकार ने शुक्रवार को प्रयागराज में माफिया डॉन अतीक अहमद के कब्जे से छुड़ाई गई जमीन पर 76 फ्लैट बनाकर बेघर लोगों को सौंप दिए. ये फ्लैट प्रयागराज के लूकरगंज इलाक़े में बने हैं. इस जगह पर अतीक अहमद ने अपना ऑफिस और घर बना रखा था. करीब दो साल पहले सरकार ने इस जमीन को कब्जे से मुक्त कराया, अतीक के ऑफिस और घर पर बुलडोजर चला दिया और इसके बाद इस ज़मीन पर प्रधानमंत्री शहरी आवास योजना के तहत गरीबों के लिए 76 फ्लैट बनाए गए. दिसंबर 2021 में ख़ुद योगी आदित्यनाथ ने इन फ्लैट्स का शिलान्यास किया था और सिर्फ 15 महीने के रिकॉर्ड समय से ये फ्लैट बनकर तैयार हो गए. 76 फ्लैट्स के लिए 6071 लोगों ने आवेदन किया, 1595 लोग इस स्कीम के लिए योग्य पाए गए. शुक्रवार को सभी आवेदकों के सामने लॉटरी से ड्रॉ निकाला गया, जिसके बाद 76 लोगों को फ्लैट की चाबी दी गई. ये फ्लैट 800 वर्गफीट में बने हैं. फ्लैट को चार ब्लॉक में बांटा गया है. हर ब्लॉक में ग्राउंड प्लस तीन फ्लोर हैं, यहां पार्किंग के लिये भी जगह है. यगां एक सामुदायिक भवन और कॉमन एरिया बनाया गया है. फ्लैट्स में बिजली सप्लाई के लिए सोलर लाइट लगाई जाएंगी. बड़ी बात ये है कि जिन 76 लोगों को ड्रॉ में फ्लैट मिला है, उनमें ज्यादातर ऐसी महिलाएं हैं जो दूसरों के घरों में झाडू पोंछा करती है, बर्तन धोती हैं या खाना बनाने का काम करती हैं. कई महिलाएं प्राइवेट स्कूल में टीचर हैं, कुछ मजदूर हैं, ये लोग अब तक झुग्गियों या किराए के मकान में रहते हैं. आठ सौ वर्गफीट के इस फ्लैट की कीमत सिर्फ 6 लाख रूपए है. इनमें से डेढ़ लाख रुपए केंद्र सरकार देगी और एक लाख रुपए यूपी सरकार दैगी. बाक़ी के साढ़े तीन लाख रुपए, फ्लैट पाने वालों को देने होंगे. रजिस्ट्रेशन के वक़्त लोगों से 5 हज़ार रुपए लिए गए थे. फ्लैट की चाबी देते समय 45 हज़ार रुपए जमा कराए गए. बाक़ी के तीन लाख रुपए अगले छह महीनों में किस्तों में लिए जाएंगे. .आज जब ड्रॉ में नाम निकला तो ज्यादातर महिलाओं के आंखों में आंसू आ गए, खुशी के कारण वो बोल नहीं पाईं. सिर्फ इतना कहा कि जो कभी नहीं सोचा था, .वो हो गया है. घर मिलने की खुशी क्या होती है, इसका अंदाजा इन महिलाओं की बातों से समझा जा सकता है. .योगी आदित्यनाथ ने इस प्रोजैक्ट के जरिए दो काम किए – एक तो गरीबों को उनके सपनों का घर दिया, और दूसरा माफिया को सरकार की ताकत दिखाई.. आम लोगों में कानून के इकबाल के प्रति भरोसा और अपराधियों में कानून का खौफ पैदा किया. योगी ने दिखा दिया कि सरकारी बुलडोजर कैसे गरीबों को आशियाना दिलाने के लिए जमीन साफ करता है.

औरंगज़ेब या शिवाजी : कौन है हमारे नायक?

औरंगज़ेब और टीपू सुल्तान के नाम पर भड़की हिंसा के शिकार कोल्हापुर में हालात सामान्य हो रहे हैं. शुक्रवार को शहर में बाज़ार आम दिनों की तरह फिर खुले, लेकिन पुलिस ने जांच तेज कर दी है. सोशल मीडिया पर टीपू सुल्तान और औरंगजेब की तस्वीरें डालने और उसके बाद हिन्दू संगठनों पर हुई पत्थरबाजी के केस में पुलिस अब तक 36 लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर चुकी है. अब पुलिस ये पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि सोशल मीडिया पर जो मैसेज और वीडियो वायरल हुए, वो किसने बनाए, किस ग्रुप के जरिए वो फैलाए गए. पुलिस ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वो माहौल खराब करने वाले पोस्ट न करें, अगर कोई ऐसा मैसेज या वीडियो आता है तो इसे फॉरर्वर्ड करने के बजाए पुलिस को खबर दें. पुलिस की इस बात का असर हो रहा है. मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में जुमे की नमाज़ शांति से अदा की गई. इमामों ने भी नमाज़ पढ़ने पहुंचे लोगों को समझाया, कहा कि किसी के बहकावे में आकर भड़काऊ सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट शेयर न करें, और अपने बच्चों पर भी नज़र रखें कि वो गलत लोगों के चक्कर में फंस कर कोई ऐसी हरकत न करें, जिससे पूरे समाज को नुकसान हो. नमाज़ के बाद मस्जिद से निकले लोगों ने भी कहा कि जो लोग महाराष्ट्र में ओरंगजेब को हीरो बता रहे हैं., वो महाराष्ट्र के हितैषी नहीं हो सकते. मुस्लिम भाइयों ने कहा कि उनके आदर्श छत्रपति शिवाजी हैं, औरंगज़ेब नहीं. कुछ लोगों ने कहा कि चुनाव करीब हैं, .इसी चक्कर में माहौल खराब करने की कोशिशें हो रही हैं. लेकिन राजनीतिक पार्टियां और नेता इस विवाद को खत्म करने के बजाए भड़काऊ बयानबाज़ी कर रहे हैं. AIMIM के चीफ असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने हैदराबद में कहा कि भारत में कोई ऐसा क़ानून नहीं है जिसमें टीपू सुल्तान या औरंगज़ेब के नाम का स्टेटस लगाना जुर्म हो. ओवैसी ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र के डिप्टी सीएम देवेंद्र फड़णवीस कहते हैं कि महाराष्ट्र में औरंगज़ेब की औलाद पैदा हो गई हैं… तो क्या उन्हें पता है कि नाथूराम गोडसे, नारायण आप्टे और मदनलाल पाहवा की औलादें कौन हैं. शिव सेना (उद्धव ठाकरे) के नेता संजय राउत ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में माहौल तो बीजेपी खराब कर रही है. राउत ने कहा, कर्नाटक में बजरंग बली का नाम नहीं चला तो महाराष्ट्र में बीजेपी ने औरंगज़ेब को जिंदा कर दिया. आम जनता कुछ कह रही है और नेता कुछ और कह रहे हैं. अब ये कहने की जरूरत तो नहीं है कि आम लोग दंगा फसाद नहीं चाहते. महाराष्ट्र के मुसलमान भी शिवाजी महाराज को अपना आदर्श मानते हैं.वो औरंगज़ेब को हीरो बताने वालों के साथ नहीं है लेकिन नेता इन लोगों की बात सुनने के बजाए भड़काऊ बातें कर रहे हैं. .नेताओं के बयानों से ही माहौल खराब होता है और इस मामले में न ओवैसी दूध के धुले हैं, .न संजय राउत पाक साफ हैं, और बीजेपी भी कम नहीं है. सभी पार्टियां अपने अपने फायदे के हिसाब से औरंगजेब और शिवाजी महाराज के नाम का इस्तेमाल करके सियासत चमका रही हैं. .आम लोगों को ये बात समझनी पड़ेगी.

In an explosive interview to India TV, international wrestling referee Jagbir Singh has disclosed how he watched Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh inappropriately touching women wrestlers during tournaments abroad. The controversial WFI chief had been challenging women wrestlers to bring witnesses to substantiate their charges and if proved, he had offered to hang himself. Jagbir Singh, who has been questioned by Delhi Police, told India TV that he saw Brij Bhushan inappropriately touching the women wrestlers several times. Delhi Police has so far recorded the statements of 125 witnesses across four states. Jagbir Singh told India TV that he saw Brij Bhushan inappropriately touching a heavyweight woman wrestler in Lucknow on March 25 last year during a photo session after the trials for Senior Asian Wrestling Championship. The wrestler, he said, was stunned and afraid, and she chose to stand away from the WFI chief. Jagbir Singh, who trains wrestlers at Delhi’s Chandgi Ram Akhada, has been working as international referee and judge since 2007 and the last time he attended an international tournament was in 2022. He was supposed to be sent on June 13, but WFI did not send him. He alleged that in 2013, during Thailand tour, Brij Bhushan arranged Indian food for wrestlers. “When he reached for dinner he was inebriated, and sexually harassed several female wrestlers by inappropriately touching them”, he said. Jagbir Singh also disclosed that after becoming WFI chief, Brij Bhushan made it a rule since 2012 to position female wrestlers’ mats in front of his dais at every wrestling competition. He also alleged that Brij Bhushan made it a point to stay only in those hotels where female wrestlers used to stay during foreign tours. Last year, during a wrestling championship in Bulgaria, he said, Brij Bhushan went to the training centre early in the morning and tried to teach wrestling tactics personally to the girls. ‘He became a laughing stock in front of referees from other countries’, Jagbir Singh said. With the key witness revealing so many incidents on camera, even Delhi Police will have to accept that the sexual harassment charges made by our female wrestlers have substance. I wonder whether Brij Bhushan will now say that he will hang himself. Secondly, about the harassment charge levelled by an adolescent female wrestler. First, Brij Bhushan’s camp tried to prove that she was not adolescent, but an adult. Soon after, it changed tack and tried to change her statement. These efforts were part of a plot to ensure that he was not arrested and POCSO (Protection of Children From Sexual Offences) Act should not be applied. Overall, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was trying every tactic in the game to ensure that he was not arrested and the case is weakened. But referee Jagbir Singh has now changed turned the table on him. Let us hope more witnesses will come forward and tell the public on camera. It will then be difficult for Brij Bhushan to save himself from the hands of law.

YOGI KILLS TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE

On Friday, UP government, in Prayagraj, handed over keys of 76 new flats to poor people, names of whom were drawn in a lottery. The flats were built in a record time of 15 months after land grabbed illegally by mafia don Atiq Ahmed was seized by the administration. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had laid the foundation stone in December 2021. A total of 6,071 people applied for 76 flats, 1,595 applicants were found eligible under EWS category, and after a lottery draw, names of 76 beneficiaries were announced. The block of flats, each of which is built in 800 sq. feet area, houses a ground floor and three floors, with parking space. It has a community hall and common area. Electricity is provided through solar lights. The happiness of owing a house was clearly evident from the smiles on the faces of women who got the keys. Yogi Adityanath achieved two aims by completing this project. One, poor families got a house of their own, and Two, mafia groups have been shown their right place. Yogi has shown how bulldozers can clear the ground for building homes for the poor.

AURANGZEB OR SHIVAJI : WHO’S OUR HERO?

The situation is returning to normal in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, after violence and stoning over posting of pictures of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan by some miscreants on social media. Police arrested 36 persons and is now trying to mind out who provoked communal tension by posting these pictures. Muslims who came out after offering Friday prayers, said those who describe Aurangzeb as a hero in Maharashtra can never be called patriots. They said, Shivaji has always been our ideal, and not Aurangzeb. In Hyderabad, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi asked, since when posting of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan’s pictures on social media has become a crime. He attacked Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on his ‘Aurangzeb ki Aulaad’ remark, and asked who were the ‘aulaad’ (offsprings) of Nathuram Godse, Narayan Apte and Madanlal Pahwa, accused in Gandhi assassination case. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, if there is tension in the state, Owaisi will be solely responsible. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut alleged that it was BJP which was creating communal tension. He said, “after failing to win Karnataka by using the name of Bajrangbali, BJP is now fomenting tension in the name of Aurangzeb”. After watching what the common Muslims in Kolhapur say and what the leaders say, there is no need to say that common people do not want riots and the Muslims living in Maharashtra consider Shivaji their hero. They are not with those who consider Aurangzeb their hero. But there are leaders who incite people by making inflammatory remarks. Neither Owaisi nor Sanjay Raut are innocent. All political parties, including BJP, are trying to make political hay by taking the names of Shivaji and Aurangzeb. The common public must understand this fact.

आज मैं माता-पिताओं को सावधान करना चाहता हूं. अगर आपका बच्चा फोन या लैपटॉप पर लगातार गेम खेल रहा है, अनजान लोगों से लंबी बातें कर रहा है, बिना बताए घर से बाहर चल जाता है, उसकी आदतों में कुछ बदलाव दिखाई दे रहा है, तो सावधान हो जाइए. क्योंकि देश में एक गिरोह काम कर रहा है, जो लालच देकर, मददगार बनकर, बच्चों को बहला कर उनका धर्मान्तरण करवा रहा है. जो तथ्य सामने आए हैं, वो चिंता में डालने वाले हैं. गाजियाबाद में गेमिंग एप के जरिए चार बच्चों के धर्मान्तरण की कोशिश की जांच के दौरान यूपी पुलिस को चौंकाने वाले सबूत मिले हैं. पता लगा कि मजहबी गिरोह का जाल उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा, पंजाब, गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र तक फैला हुआ है. मुंबई के पास मुंब्रा में इस गिरोह के एक सदस्य ने दावा किया है कि उसने करीब चार सौ हिन्दुओं को इस्लाम कबूल करवाया है. ये दावा पुलिस ने नहीं किया है, गिरोह का एक सदस्य एक बच्चे से बातचीत के दौरान खुद ये जानकारी दे रहा है. इस बच्चे के साथ फोन पर हुई बातचीत का पूरा ऑडियो टेप मेरे पास है. इस बातचीत को सुनकर आप हैरान जाएंगे. इस गिरोह के लोग उन परिवारों को टारगेट करते हैं, जो मुसीबत में हैं, परेशानी के दौर से गुजर रहे हैं, उन बच्चों को टारगेट करते हैं, जो कंप्यूटर पर गेम खेलते हैं और ज्यादातर वक्त ऑनलाइन रहते हैं. गिरोहके सदस्य बच्चों को पैसे, अच्छी नौकरी का लालच देते हैं, विदेश घुमाने का ऑफर देते हैं, और शुरूआत होती है, गेम में जीत दिलाने की गारंटी से. गाजियाबाद में एक बच्चा जिम जाने के बहाने मस्जिद में पांच बार नमाज के लिए जाता था. माता पिता को शक हुआ, बेटे का पीछा किया, तो हकीकत सामने आ गई. माता पिता ने पुलिस से शिकायत की, तो मस्जिद से इमाम अब्दुल रहमान को गिरफ्तार किय़ा गया. पूछताछ में मुम्ब्रा में रहने वाला शाहनवाज का नाम सामने आया, पुलिस ने शाहनवाज से संपर्क किया, उसके बाद से वो गायब हो गया. अब पुलिस उसके खिलाफ लुकआउट नोटिस जारी करने जा रही है, जिससे वो विदेश न भाग सके. ये केस मजबूरी का फ़ायदा उठाकर धर्म परिवर्तन का केस है. 47 मिनट का पूरा टेप सबूत है इस बात का कि नाबालिग हिंदू बच्चों को बहलाकर-फुसलाकर लालच देकर, जन्नत और हूरों का ख़्वाब दिखाकर इस्लाम क़बूल करने के लिए तैयार किया गया. पुलिस की शुरुआती जांच भी यही बताती है. एक मज़हबी गिरोह है जो कंप्यूटर गेम के ज़रिए बच्चों तक पहुंचता है या फिर लोगों की मजबूरी का फ़ायदा उठाता है. उनका धर्म परिवर्तन कर रहा है, ज़्यादातर मालों में मां-बाप को पता ही नहीं चलता कि उनका बच्चा कब धर्म बदल चुका है. पुलिस के लिए भी ऐसे मामलों को सुलझाना आसान नहीं होता. हमारे देश में हर किसी को अपनी मर्ज़ी से किसी भी धर्म को अपनाने की छूट है. पर अगर धर्म परिवर्तन डरा-धमकाकर, बहला-फुसलाकर या लालच देकर किया जाए, तो ये क़ानूनन अपराध है. अगर किसी नाबालिग को धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए उकसाया जाए. राज़ी कराया जाए, तो ये और भी बड़ा अपराध है. लेकिन ऐसे मामलों में सबूत जुटाना, लालच देने का सबूत हासिल करना मुश्किल होता है. लेकिन ग़ाज़ियाबाद, मुंब्रा के मामले ऐसे हैं, जहां पुलिस के पास सबूत भी हैं और गवाह भी. सबसे बड़ी बात ये है कि मां-बाप को सतर्क रहना पड़ेगा, बच्चों पर नज़र रखनी पड़ेगी. ग़ाज़ियाबाद, मुंब्रा की ये रिपोर्ट मां-बाप के लिए एक चेतावनी है. एक और बात मैं कहना चाहता हूं ऐसे दो चार मामलों को लेकर पूरे इस्लाम को बदनाम करने की कोशिश भी बेमानी है. पैगम्बर हज़रत मोहम्मद साहब ने भी जबरन धर्म परिवर्तन का कभी समर्थन नहीं किया. जो दो चार मुस्लिम ये काम करते हैं वो पूरी कौम को बदनाम करते हैं. लेकिन उनकी वजह से हमें पूरी कौम को ऐसा नहीं समझना चाहिए.

कनाडा में इंदिरा हत्या का महिमामंडन बरदाश्त नहीं

खालिस्तानी आतंकवादियों की करतूत से कनाडा और भारत के रिश्तों में तल्खी आ गई है. भारत सरकार ने सख्त लफ्ज़ों में कनाडा सरकार को चेतावनी दी है. विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर ने साफ साफ कहा कि इस तरह के भारत विरोधी तत्वों के साथ नरमी दोनों देशों के रिश्तों पर बुरा असर डालेगी. असल में 4 जून को ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार की बरसी पर कनाडा के ब्रैम्पटन शहर में खालिस्तानी अलगाववादियों ने एक झांकी निकाली. इसमें पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या की एक झांकी शामिल की गई. यह परेड 5 किलोमीटर लम्बी थी. इसके बाद इसके वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल किया गया जिस पर हंगामा मच गया. लोगों ने कनाडा की सरकार पर खालिस्तानी अलगाववादियों को शह देने का आरोप लगाया. कनाडा में भारत के उच्चायोग ने कनाडा के विदेश मंत्रालय को चिट्ठी लिखकर इस घटना पर नाराज़गी ज़ाहिर की. उच्चायोग ने कहा कि अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी का ये मतलब नहीं है कि किसी लोकतांत्रिक देश की नेता का इस तरह से अपमान किया जाए. इसके बाद विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर ने कहा कि कनाडा की सरकार वोट बैंक की सियासत के चलते ऐसे लोगों को बढ़ावा दे रही है, जो भारत का विरोध करते हैं. विदेश मंत्री ने कहा कि कनाडा में बार-बार भारत विरोधी घटनाएं हो रही हैं, अगर कनाडा की सरकार ने इन पर रोक नहीं लगाई तो इसका असर दोनों देशों के रिश्तों पर पड़ेगा. एस जयशंकर ने अच्छा किया कि कनाडा को खुली चेतावनी दी. इंदिरा गांधी न सिर्फ भारत की प्रधानमंत्री थीं, वो दुनिया की एक प्रतिष्ठित राजनेता थीं. उनकी निर्मम हत्या करने वालों का महिमामंडन दुनिया के किसी भी हिस्से में हो, बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता. कनाडा में एक भारत विरोधी ग्रुप है जो कभी किसान के नाम पर, कभी खालिस्तान के नाम पर भारत को बदनाम करता है. भारत में हिंसा फैलाने वालों का समर्थन करता है. कनाडा की सरकार को ऐसे लोगों पर लगाम लगानी चाहिए, ये उनकी जिम्मेदारी है. भारत के लोगों की भावनाओं का सम्मान कैसे करना है ये कनाडा को अपने पड़ोसी देश अमेरिका से सीखना चाहिए.

राहुल मानें कि भारत में चुनाव निष्पक्ष होते हैं

विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने गुरुवार को कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी को एक नसीहत दी. एस. जयशंकर ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी देश में बीजेपी पर हमले करें, सरकार पर हमला बोलें, ये तो समझ में आता है, लेकिन विदेश जाकर भारत के सियासी मसलों को उठाना, देश में लोकतन्त्र खत्म होने की बात कहना, ये ठीक नहीं है. इससे राहुल को कोई सियासी फायदा तो नहीं होगा, लेकिन इससे देश का नाम तो खराब होगा. कुछ दिन पहले अमेरिकी में राहुल गांधी ने कहा था कि कि भारत में लोकतंत्र खत्म हो गया और हमारे यहां चुनाव स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष नहीं होते. इस पर एस. जयशंकर ने कहा कि पूरी दुनिया देख रही है कि भारत में चुनाव होते हैं, कभी एक पार्टी जीतती है, कभी दूसरी, इसलिए भारत के जीवन्त लोकतंत्र को लेकर पूरी दुनिया में कोई भ्रम नहीं है. इसके बाद जयशंकर ने ये भी जोड दिया कि हालांकि अगले लोकसभा चुनाव का नतीजा भी वही होगा, जो 2019 के आम चुनाव का रहा था, यानी नरेंद्र मोदी जीतेंगे. वहीं केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी ने आरोप लगाया कि राहुल गांधी अमेरिका में एक ऐसे आदमी से मिले थे, जो दुनिया भर में सरकारों को अस्थिर करने के लिए बदनाम है. स्मृति ईरानी ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी मोदी सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ साज़िश रचने के लिए अमेरिका गए थे. मैं इस बात से तो सहमत नहीं कि राहुल गांधी को विदेश में जाकर भारत की आलोचना करने का हक नहीं है. आज के डिजिटल जमाने में इस बात से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि बात भारत में कही जाए या विदेश में, सब कुछ सब जगह दिखाई और सुनाई देता है पर राहुल का ये कहना कि भारत में चुनाव स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष नहीं होते, बिल्कुल गलत है. पूरी दुनिया भारत की लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था, इतने बड़े देश में चुनाव कराने के तरीके की तारीफ करती है. सच बात तो ये है कि हमारे देश में चुनाव व्यवस्था में समय के साथ बहुत सुधार हुआ है. अब बूथ कैप्चरिंग नहीं होती, उम्मीदवारों को अगवा नहीं किया जाता, अब चुनाव के दौरान हिंसा की घटनाएं कम होती हैं, अब लोग निडर होकर वोट देते हैं और अपनी सरकार चुनते हैं. ये भारत के लिए गौरव की बात है. राहुल गांधी को ये नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि इसी सिस्टम से, इसी चुनावी प्रक्रिया से कांग्रेस ने सरकारें बनाई और चलाई हैं.

दिल्ली में कैम्पस उद्घाटन : बिन बात का बतंगड़

दिल्ली में उपराज्यपाल वी.के.सक्सेना और मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल का झगड़ा एक बार फिर सामने आ गया. गुरुवार को गुरु गोविंद सिंह इंद्रप्रस्थ यूनिवर्सिटी के ईस्ट दिल्ली कैंपस का उद्घाटन होना था. सक्सेना और केजरीवाल दोनों उद्घाटन के लिए पहुंच गए. दोनों ने मिलकर उद्घाटन तो कर दिया लेकिन इस दौरान जमकर हंगामा हुआ. बीजेपी और आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने एक दूसरे के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की. इसके बाद जब ऑडिटोरियम में भाषण शुरू हुआ तो वहां भी नारेबाजी शुरू हो गई. केजरीवाल ने माइक संभाला तो बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं ने हूटिंग की. जबाव में आम आदमी पार्टी के लोगों ने भी नारे लगाए. कैंपस को लेकर दोनों पक्षों के अपने अपने दावे हैं. इस कैंपस को बनाने का फैसला 2013 में हुआ था, तब केजरीवाल दिल्ली के सीएम नहीं थे. दिसंबर 2014 में इसका शिलान्यास तब की मानव संसाधन मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी ने किया था. कैंपस बनाने में 387 करोड़ रुपये लगे. दिल्ली सरकार की तरफ से 41 करोड़ रुपये दिए गए. आम आदमी पार्टी का दावा है कि भले ही इसका शिलान्यास केंद्र ने करवाया हो लेकिन इसे बनवाया दिल्ली सरकार ने है. मुझे लगता है विश्व विद्यालय के कैंपस के उद्घाटन के अवसर को राजनीति का अखाड़ा नहीं बनाया जाना चाहिए था. दोनों पार्टियों के समर्थकों को इस समारोह में नारे लगाने की जरूरत नहीं थी. उपराज्य़पाल ने उद्घाटन किया, मुख्यमंत्री को मुख्य अतिथि बनाया गया, तो इतनी हाय तौबा किस बात की? कैंपस का उद्घाटन कौन करता है, इससे वहां पढ़ने वाले विद्यार्थियों को क्या फर्क पड़ता है ? ध्यान तो इस बात पर देना चाहिए था कि कैंपस में पढ़ने वालों को और पढ़ाने वालों को अच्छी सुविधाएं मिल पाती हैं या नहीं.
