कनाडा में हिन्दुओं पर हमला : करारा जवाब मिलेगा
कनाडा से परेशान करने वाली खबर आई. खालिस्तान समर्थकों ने मंदिर में घुसकर हिन्दुओं पर हमला किया, हिन्दुओं को बुरी तरह पीटा गया और स्थानीय पुलिस तमाशा देखती रही. हैरानी की बात ये है कि मंदिर में जबरन घुसने वाले खालिस्तान समर्थक थे, लाठी डंडों से बेकसूर हिन्दुओं पर हमला करने वाले खालिस्तानी थे, जो घायल हुए वो हिन्दू हैं लेकिन कनाडा की पुलिस ने उल्टा काम किया. एक्शन हिंदुओं के खिलाफ लिया, पकड़ा हिन्दुओं को गया. खालिस्तानियों को पुलिस ने छोड़ दिया.
इससे कनाडा में बसे साढ़े आठ लाख हिन्दू गुस्से में हैं, जस्टिन ट्रूडो के खिलाफ प्रोटेस्ट करने के लिए सड़कों पर उतर आए हैं. कनाडा में भी ‘बंटोगे , तो कटोगे’ के नारे लगे.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मंदिर पर हुए हमले की निंदा की. कहा, कि हमारे राजनयिकों को डराने की कोशिश की गई, लेकिन इससे भारत का संकल्प कमज़ोर नहीं होगा, कनाडा सरकार सुनिशिचत करे कि कानून का राज कायम रहे और सब को न्याय मिले.
विदेश मंत्रालय ने कनाडा की सरकार से हिन्दुओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और हमला करने वाले खालिस्तानी आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ एक्शन की मांग की. कनाडा के कई सांसदों ने माना कि हिन्दुओं पर हो रहे हमले, मंदिरों में घुसकर मारपीट, जस्टिन ट्रूडो की वोट बैंक वाली सियासत का नतीजा है. उन्होंने कहा कि कनाडा में बोलने की आजादी के नाम पर खालिस्तान समर्थकों को हिंसा की इजाजत देना ठीक नहीं है, लेकिन चिंता की बात ये है कि मंदिर पर हुए हमले में खालिस्तानियों की भीड़ में सिविल ड्रेस में कनाडा पुलिस के कुछ अफसर भी शामिल थे. पुलिस खालिस्तानियों को रोकने के बजाय, विरोध कर रहे हिन्दुओं को डराने धमकाने की कोशिश करती नजर आई.
सारे वीडियों में इसका सबूत है. कनाडा की सरकार इसे स्थानीय लोगों के बीच झड़प बता रही है. हकीकत ये है कि इस हमले की आशंका पहले से जताई गई थी लेकिन कनाडा की पुलिस, और सरकार ने कोई कदम नहीं उठाया..
कनाडा के टोरंटो में स्थित भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास ने हिंदू सभा की मदद से ब्रैम्पटन के मंदिर में कॉन्सुलर कैंप लगाया था. इस कैंप में भारतीय राजनयिक भारतीय मूल के पेंशनरों को लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट देने के लिए पहुंचे थे. कैंप लगभग एक हज़ार लोगों की मदद के लिए लगाया गया था. लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट की जरूरत उन बुजुर्गों को होती है, जो पेंशनर्स हैं और रिटायर होने के बाद कनाडा में अपने बच्चों के पास रह रहे हैं. इन बुजुर्गों को पेंशन जारी रखने के लिए हर साल अपना लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट जमा कराना होता है.
कैंप लगने की ख़बर मिलते ही खालिस्तान समर्थकों ने मंदिर के बाहर प्रोटेस्ट का एलान कर दिया. ब्रैम्पटन की पुलिस ने खालिस्तानियों को मंदिर के ठीक सामने प्रोटेस्ट करने की इजाज़त भी दे दी. शुरू में सिर्फ नारेबाजी हो रही थी लेकिन जैसे ही कुछ लोग कॉन्सुलर कैंप में लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट बनवाने के लिए पहुंचे तो लाठी डंडों से लैस खालिस्तानियों ने उन पर हमला बोल दिया.
मंदिर के गेट पर ही उन्होंने हिन्दुओं की पिटाई शुरू कर दी. जब हिंदुओं ने इसका विरोध किया तो खालिस्तानियों की हिंसक भीड़ मार-पीट करते हुए मंदिर में दाख़िल हो गई. मंदिर के भीतर देर तक हंगामा चलता रहा. हिंदुओं ने खालिस्तानी हमलावरों से झंडे छीनने शुरू कर दिए. कुछ लोग भारत का तिरंगा लेकर आ गए. उन्होंने खालिस्तानी हमलावरों को चुनौती दी. खालिस्तानियों की भीड़ हिंदुओं को मंदिर परिसर में घुसकर पीटती रही और पुलिस, केवल हिंदुओं को रोकती रही.
वीडियो में जिस शख्स को हाथ में झंड़ा लेकर नारे लगाते हुए देखा गया, वह ब्रैम्पटन इलाक़े की पुलिस फोर्स में सार्जेंट है. उसका नाम हरिंदर सोही है. हरिंदर सोही सिविल ड्रैस में मंदिर पर हमला करने वाले खालिस्तानियों के साथ था. वो खालिस्तान का झंडा लेकर भारत सरकार के खिलाफ नारे लगा रहा था.
असल में इस तरह की हमले की आशंका हिन्दू संगठनों को पहले से थी क्योंकि दिवाली से पहले खालिस्तानी उग्रवादी गुरपतवंत सिंह पन्नू ने धमकी दी थी कि वो पंजाब में किसी हिंदू को आतिशबाज़ी नहीं करने देगा, पटाखे नहीं चलाने देगा.
कनाडा में हिंदुओं पर हमला चिंता की बात है. इसलिए नहीं कि कुछ सिरफिरे खालिस्तानी मंदिर में घुस गए, इसलिए नहीं कि भारत के दुश्मनों ने वहां के हिंदुओं के साथ मारपीट की. चिंता की बात इसलिए है कि ऐसे आतंकवादियों को कनाडा की पुलिस ने संरक्षण दिया.
चिंता की बात इसलिए है कि कनाडा के प्रधानमंत्री जस्टिन ट्रूडो मजबूर हैं और इस घटना पर लीपा-पोती करने में लगे हैं. कनाडा जैसे देश से ऐसे दोहरे मानदंडों की उम्मीद दुनिया के कम मुल्कों को होगी. पर भारत को अब इस पर हैरानी नहीं होती.
पिछले 4 साल से कनाडा खालिस्तान समर्थकों का अड्डा बन गया है. कनाडा इन आतंकवादियों को पनाह देता है. जिन लोगों ने रिकॉर्ड पर कहा है कि भारत में उनके खिलाफ आपराधिक मुकदमे हैं. उन पर भारत में आतंक फैलाने का आरोप है. जिन्होंने माना है कि उनके पास से हथियार बरामद हुए. उन्हें भी कनाडा की सरकार ने अपने यहां शरण दी है. जो लोग डिजिटल मिडिया पर खालिस्तान का समर्थन करते हैं, भारत विरोधी बयान देते हैं. कनाडा की सरकार ने उन्हें अपने यहां मेहमान बनाकर रखा हुआ है.
पिछले साल भारत ने सात गैंगस्टर्स की लिस्ट कनाडा को दी थी लेकिन जस्टिन ट्रूडो ने कुछ नहीं किया. अब कनाडा में हिंदुओं पर हुए हमले ने इस पूरी साजिश को एक्सपोज कर दिया है.
अब सारी दुनिया को पता है कि दंगाइयों, गैंगस्टर्स को पनाह देने का क्या अंजाम हुआ. उनकी हिम्मत बढ़ती जा रही है .इसीलिए कनाडा में रहने वाले हिंदू गुस्से में हैं. वो मानते हैं कि आज के वक्त खालिस्तान सपोटर्स की मदद करना ट्रूडो की मजबूरी है. उनकी सरकार उन 25 सांसदों के समर्थन पर टिकी है जो खालिस्तान समर्थक हैं.
लेकिन अब ये ज्यादा दिन नहीं चलेगा. कनाडा में न सिर्फ हिंदू गुस्से में है, बल्कि बड़ी संख्या में मॉडरेट सिख समाज के लोग भी हिंदुओं पर हुए हमले से नाराज हैं. वे नहीं चाहते कि कनाडा की छवि को नुकसान पहुंचे. इसमें उनकी भी बदनामी है. इसलिए वह दिन दूर नहीं जब जस्टिन ट्रूडो को इसका खामियाज़ा भुगतना पड़ेगा.
Attack on Hindus in Canada : Trudeau will have to face consequences
The deliberate, violent attack by some Khalistan separatists on Hindus outside the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada, is a condemnable act, and it brings a bad name to all Indians living in Canada, particularly the Sikh community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his post on ‘X’, while condemning the incidents, wrote, “Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule on law”.
It is deplorable that the local Canadian police watched silently as the separatists attacked Indian Hindus with iron poles outside the temple. Instead of taking action against the attackers, the local police has taken action against Hindus, who bore the brunt of attack. Visuals circulating in social media show policemen pinning down a Hindu youth and handcuffing him.
The immediate provocation for the Khalistan supporters was a consular camp being held by the Indian High Commission at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton where life certificates were issued to Indian pensioners living with their families in Canada. Khalistan supporters, holding provocative banners, gathered outside the temple objecting to the holding of the consular camp by Indian diplomats.
The act of local police arresting Hindu youths has caused outrage and anger among nearly 8.5 lakh Hindus residing in Canada. Hindus,holding national tricolour flag, have staged protests against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the anti-national Khalistan separatists. Justin Trudeau, in his tweet, condemned the attack, but it was more of a face-saving gesture. Trudeau wrote: “The acts of violence at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely.”
The attack on Hindus in Canada is cause for worry, not because that a handful of Khalistanis entered a temple, or enemies of India attacked Hindus, but because Canadian police is openly providing support and protection to pro-Khalistan terrorists. It is more worrying because Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is now trying to cover up the incidents because of his party’s political compulsions.
Few countries of the world can expect such double standards from a country like Canada. For India, however, it is not surprising. Canada has become a base for Khalistan supporters in the last four years. Canada is giving asylum and protection to these terrorists. Many of them have criminal cases filed by Indian authorities against them. They have been charged of spreading terror in India, providing weapons to terrorists and they are getting protection from Canadian government.
Those supporting Khalistan on digital media and issuing anti-India statements, are being treated as guests by the Canadian government. Last year, Indian government had handed over a list of seven dreaded gangsters to Canada, but Justin Trudeau’s government did nothing. The latest attacks on Hindus in Canada is a consequence of this and it has fully exposed the conspiracy being hatched by enemies of India. The entire world now knows that such violent incidents are the result of giving asylum to rioters and gangsters.
Hindus living in Canada are angry. They know that it is Justin Trudeau’s compulsion to support Khalistan supporters, because his government is thriving on the support of 25 MPs, who are supporters of Khalistan. This cannot continue for long. Not only Hindus, but most of the moderate Sikhs living in Canada for generations, are also unhappy with the attack on Hindu temple. They do not want the image of Sikh community living in Canada to be tarnished. The day is not far enough when Justin Trudeau will have to face the consequences.
चुनाव प्रचार में महिलाओं से अभद्रता : अब बहुत हो गया
मुंबई में एकनाथ शिंदे की शिव सेना के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ रही शायना एन सी ने उद्धव ठाकरे की शिव सेना के सांसद अरविंद सावंत पर भद्दी टिप्पणी करने का आरोप लगाया है. इसके बाद शायना ने अरविंद सावंत के खिलाफ मुंबई के नागपाड़ा थाने में FIR दर्ज करा दी.
सावंत के खिलाफ एक महिला की मर्यादा को जानबूझकर ठेस पहुंचाने, अपमानित करने, डराने और मानहानि की धाराओं में केस दर्ज किया गया है. दरअसल अरविंद सावंत मुंबा देवी सीट से कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार अमीन पटेल से नामांकन भरवा रहे थे. पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए अरविंद सावंत ने कहा कि मुंबा देवी से शिवसेना के टिकट पर लड़ रहीं शायना एन सी बाहरी उम्मीदवार हैं, वो ‘इम्पोर्टेड माल’ है. इसी बयान को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हो गया.
शायना ने कहा कि अरविंद सावंत का कमेंट बताता है कि महिलाओं के बारे में उनकी सोच कैसी है. सावंत के बयान उनका व्यक्तिगत अपमान ही नहीं, बल्कि सारी महिलाओं का अपमान है, कोई इसे बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा. शायना ने कहा कि महाविकास अघाड़ी के दूसरे नेताओं उद्धव ठाकरे और शरद पवार ने अभी तक इस टिप्पणी की निंदा नहीं की.
शायना ने कहा कि वो सावंत को तब तक माफ नहीं करेंगी जब तक वह थाने आकर उनसे माफी नहीं मांगते. मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कहा कि महिलाओं के खिलाफ इस तरह की बात कहना शिवसैनिकों का चरित्र नहीं है, अगर बालासाहेब ठाकरे जिंदा होते तो बयान देने वाले का मुंह तोड़ देते. शिंदे ने कहा कि सावंत के बयान का जवाब महिलाएं चुनाव में महाविकास अघाड़ी को देंगी.
अरविंद सावंत का कहना है कि वह शायना एनसी को मित्र मानते हैं और उन्होंने किसी का नाम नहीं लिया. सावंत ने मामले को घुमाने के लिए मणिपुर का जिक्र किया और कर्नाटक में प्रज्ज्वल रेवन्ना से लेकर आशीष शेलार तक के बयान गिनाए.
अरविंद सावंत अच्छी तरह जानते हैं कि उन्होंने क्या कहा था और किसके लिए कहा था. अब वो इधर-उधर की बातें करके अपनी बदजुबानी को बढ़ा रहे हैं. अगर वह अपने बयान को जस्टिफाई करने की कोशिश न करते तो बेहतर होता. उन्होंने शायना एनसी को इंपोर्टेड माल कहकर अभद्रता की, बदतमीजी की. हो सकता है गलती हो गई हो, जुबान फिसल गई हो, वह माफी मांगकर इस बात को खत्म कर सकते थे.
क्षमा मांगने से कोई छोटा नहीं हो जाता. पर कुछ नेताओं की आदत होती है. वे राजनीति में आने वाली महिलाओं को दूसरे दर्जे की नागरिक मानते हैं. अभी कुछ दिन पहले 25 अक्टबूर को झारखंड के कांग्रेसी मंत्री इरफान अंसारी ने बीजेपी उम्मीदवार सीता सोरेन को “रिजेक्टेड माल” कहा था.
सीता सोरेन JMM के संस्थापक शिबू सोरेन के बड़े बेटे दुर्गा सोरेन की पत्नी हैं. उनके पति का निधन 2009 में हो गया था. सीता सोरेन JMM छोड़कर बीजेपी में शामिल हो गई और वह जामताड़ा से चुनाव लड़ रही है. बीजेपी के नेताओं ने राज्यपाल के पास जाकर मांग की कि इरफान अंसारी को कैबिनेट से बरखास्त किया जाय और उनके चुनाव लड़ने पर प्रतिबंध लगाया जाय.
राजनीति में सक्रिय महिला नेताओं के बारे में भद्दी टिप्पणी करना किसी भी दृष्टि से न्यायोचित नहीं है. झारखंड में सीता सोरेन को ‘रिजेक्टेड माल’ और महाराष्ट्र में शायना NC को ‘इंपोर्टेड माल’ कहा गया. किसी महिला के लिए ऐसी भाषा को कतई सही नहीं ठहराया जा सकता. यह महिलाओं का अपमान है. ऐसी कोई भी हरकत अक्षम्य है.
Elections, women and indecent remarks : Stop it now
The use of indecent and derogatory remarks about female candidates by some male politicians in Maharashtra and Jharkhand is a matter of concern for all right-thinking Indians. On October 25, Congress minister in Jharkhand Irfan Ansari, contesting from Jamtara, described his BJP political rival Sita Soren as a “rejected maal”. BJP leaders lodged a protest with the Governor and demanded that he be dismissed from cabinet and barred from contesting elections. Ansari, on his part, did not apologize, but said, he did not use the words against Sita Soren, but used it in a general colloquial sense (“bolchaal ki bhaasha me use kiye the”).
Sita Soren is the wife of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha founder Shibu Soren’s eldest son Durga Soren, who died in 2009. She is the estranged sister-in-law of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. A tribal woman, Sita Soren broke down at a public meeting when she narrated the incident.
In Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP and a close confidante of Uddhav Thackeray, Arvind Sawant, made an “imported maal” remark about Shaina NC. He faced an immediate backlash and Shaini NC filed an FIR against Sawant at Nagpada police station on Friday. The reason for using this indecent remark, according to Sawant, is that Shaina NC changed her constituency to Mumbadevi.
In his defense, Arvind Sawant says, he considers Shaini NC as “my friend”. Sawant said, “I never mentioned her name, I only said that an outsider is an imported maal, and will not able to work here.”
The fact is, his allusion was clearly towards Shaina NC, who promptly reacted on X saying, “I am a woman, not a maal” (Mai Mahila Hoon, Maal Nahin). She said, the women voters of Mumbai will surely give a befitting reply to such leaders. Shaina NC said, she would not forgive Sawant until and unless he comes to the police station and beg for pardon.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on whose party ticket Shaina NC is contesting, said, the women of Maharashtra will reply to Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi for this indecent remark. Arvind Sawant, instead of tendering an apology, indulged in whataboutery, mentioning the parade of women in nude by a mob in Manipur to Janata Dal(S) leader Prajjwal Revanna’s sexual acts.
Arvind Sawant knows well what he said and for whom the remark was intended. By obfuscating, he is multiplying his mistake. It would have been better if had he not tried to justify his remark. By describing Shaina NC as “imported maal”, he has insulted womanhood. He could have apologized by saying it was a slip of tongue and the matter could have ended there.
Nobody becomes a lesser mortal by tendering apology. The sad part is that some of our male politicians view women as second-class citizens. Use of indecent remarks like ‘rejected maal’ and ‘imported maal’ about female politicians cannot be justified. It is shameful.
अयोध्या दीपोत्सव: दीप जलते रहें, अंधकार दूर करते रहें
अयोध्या नगरी 25 लाख से ज़्यादा दीपों के बीच जगमगायी. बुधवार को दीपोत्सव का दिव्य नज़ारा देखने को मिला. अय़ोध्या के 55 घाटों पर एक साथ 25 लाख 12 हजार 585 दीए जलाकर गिनीज़ बुक का विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाया गया. सरयू के तट पर 1,121 वेदाचार्यों ने एक साथ सरयू की आरती की. ऐसा अयोध्या में पहली बार हुआ है.
उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ दीपोत्सव की शुरुआत से पहले ही भगवान राम के मंदिर में पहुंचे, उनका दर्शन किया. इसके बाद उन्होंने नए राम मंदिर के प्रांगण में दीया जलाया. योगी सरयू घाट पहुंचे. राम की पैड़ी पर उन्होंने विधिवत तरीके से मंत्रोच्चार के बीच सरयू मइया की पूजा की.
अयोध्या का ये दीपोत्सव इसलिए भी विशेष है क्योंकि 500 साल बाद ये पहली दिवाली है, जब अयोध्या में फिर से भगवान राम का विशाल मंदिर बन चुका है. रामलला अपने अलौकिक मंदिर में विराजमान हैं. अय़ोध्या की सड़कें, गली, चौराहे सब रोशनी से जगमगा रहे थे. पूरे अयोध्या को भव्य तरीके से सजाया गया.
अयोध्या में सनातन धर्म की विरासत औऱ त्रेतायुग की दिवाली की झलक दिखाई दी. दीपोत्सव से पहले 1,121 संतों-महंतो ने सरयू घाट पर भव्य आरती की.
योगी ने भगवान राम औऱ सीता के रूप में आए कलाकारों की आरती उतारी . खुद झांकी में भगवान राम का रथ खींचा. राम मंदिर में भगवान राम की पूजा की. इसके साथ ही योगी ने विरोधियों को कड़ा संदेश दिया. योगी ने दीपोत्सव पर राजनीति करने वालों को करारा जवाब दिया. सनातन धर्म का विरोध करने वालों को कड़ी चेतावनी दी. राम मंदिर के निर्माण पर योगी आदित्यनाथ ने डंके की चोट पर कहा कि हमने जो कहा वह करके दिखाया..
योगी ने कहा कि एक वक्त था जब अयोध्या में न सड़क ठीक थी, न सरयू का घाट कायदे का था, जो भी अयोध्या आता था, निराश होकर जाता था. पहले की सरकारों ने अयोध्या को उसकी बदहाली पर छोड़ दिया था और कुछ लोग तो भगवान राम के अस्तित्व पर ही सवाल उठा रहे थे.
योगी ने कहा कि जिन लोगों ने भगवान राम की उपेक्षा की, उन पर सवाल खड़े किए, आज उन्हें अयोध्या की ये तस्वीरें ज़रूर देखनी चाहिए. समाजवादी पार्टी पर निशाना साधते हुए योगी ने कहा कि जिन लोगों ने अयोध्या में रामभक्तों पर गोली चलवाई, उनके खून बहाए, जब राम मंदिर बनना शुरू हुआ, ज़मीनें अधिगृहीत की गईं, तो उन्होंने ये कहना शुरू किया कि किसानों को, व्यपारियों को परेशान किया जा रहा है. अब वो अयोध्या के विकास में बाधक बन रहे हैं.
अयोध्या में रिकॉर्ड दीये जलाने के उत्सव में कई संदेश छिपे हैं. एक तो ये कि रामलला के मंदिर में विराजमान होने के बाद ये दीपोत्सव का पहला उत्सव है, जो याद दिलाता है कि नरेंद्र मोदी ने राम मंदिर के निर्माण का वादा पूरा किया. इसलिए योगी ने याद दिलाया, जो कहा वह करके दिखाया है.
दूसरा, दीपोत्सव के बहाने योगी ने हिंदू समाज को एक होने का आह्वान किया. सनातन पर हमला करने वालों को चेतावनी दी. तीसरी बात, राम मंदिर को लेकर समाजवादी पार्टी और कांग्रेस ने अपनी गलती दोहराई. उन्होंने एक बार फिर अयोध्या में दीपोत्सव का विरोध किया. एक ने भेदभाव का नाम लिया तो दूसरे ने दीयों के तेल से फैलने वाली गंदगी को बहाना बनाया.
अयोध्या में दिवाली के अवसर पर दीपोत्सव के प्रति लोगों के उत्साह को देखते हुए समाजवादी पार्टी और कांग्रेस का स्टैंड बचकाना लगता है. ये वही काम है जो उन्होंने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समय किया था . अयोध्या में राम का मंदिर बना है, रामलला विराजमान हुए हैं, इसके बाद पहली दीपावली है. सबको इसे मिलकर मनाना चाहिए. इसपर विवाद खड़ा करने का क्या फायदा? लेकिन विवाद सिर्फ अयोध्या के दीपोत्सव को लेकर नहीं हुआ, पटाखों और आतिशबाजी पर भी सवाल उठाए गए.
Ayodhya Deepotsav: Let the lights dispel darkness
The holy city of Ayodhya, birthplace of Lord Rama, dazzled on Diwali-eve as two Guinness world records were set. A record 25 lakh 12,585 diyas were lit across the 55 river banks, as 1,121 vedacharyas performed aarti on the banks of Saryu river. Nearly 500 drones illuminated the night sky with stories from Ramayana.
This was the first ‘Deepotsav’ at Lord Rama’s birthplace since the consecration of Ram Lalla temple in January this year. More than 500 years after the temple was pulled down by foreign invaders and a mosque was built, Lord Rama’s birthtown has celebrated Diwali with gusto.
The roads and lanes of Ayodhya were brightly lit to commemorate the return of Lord Rama, his brother Lakshman and wife Sita, after 14 years of exile. A vast sea of lighted lamps was seen from an aerial drone above the city of Ayodhya. Almost all the temples in the holy city were illuminated. It was a mesmerizing view as synchronized and intricate pattern of laser lights lit the sky.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the man behind the show, was present to welcome the artistes playing the roles of Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita and himself pulled their chariot. In his speech, Yogi said, “we have delivered what we had promised”. The local Faizabad MP of Samajwadi Party did not attend the celebration.
The “Deepotsav” in Ayodhya has several messages for the rest of India. One, this was the first Diwali celebration after the installation of Lord Ram Lalla at his birthplace. It reminds one how Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled his promise to build the Ram Janmasthan temple, and this was underlined again by Yogi on Wednesday.
Two, by organizing Deepotsav, Yogi has given a clarion call to all Hindus to unite. He warned those attacking Sanatan Dharma and trying to create caste divisions in Hindu society. Three, both Samajwadi Party and Congress repeated their mistakes by opposing Deepotsav. One of them spoke about discrimination, while the other party spoke about how the river was polluted by littering lakhs of tonnes of oil.
Looking at the exhilaration and enthusiasm among the general public, the objections raised by both these parties appear to be childish. These parties had committed the same mistake at the time of consecration of Ram Lalla temple in January this year.
The very fact that Diwali is being celebrated at the birthplace of Lord Rama after the consecration of the grand temple is an event that should have been collectively endorsed. I do not find any reason behind raising any dispute. Already, disputes are being raised about use of firecrackers on Diwali night, but it is better that one should avoid raising disputes during festive cheer.
आयुष्मान उपचार: 70+ को उपहार का त्योहार
धनतेरस को आरोग्य के देवता भगवान धन्वंतरि की जयंती के तौर पर मनाया जाता है और पूरे परिवार के स्वास्थ्य की मंगलकामनाएं की जाती है. इसी मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 12 हजार 850 करोड़ रु. की स्वास्थ्य परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किय़ा. उसके साथ-साथ देश में 70 वर्ष से ज्यादा उम्र के लोगों को आयुष्मान भारत स्कीम से जोड़ा है. इससे उन्हें 5 लाख रुपए तक के मुफ्त इलाज की सुविधा मिलेगी.
मोदी ने दिल्ली और पश्चिम बंगाल की सरकारों पर निशाना साधा और कहा कि केंद्र सरकार तो पूरे देश के लोगों के लिए ये स्कीम लेकर आई है लेकिन दिल्ली और बंगाल की सरकारें राजनीतिक स्वार्थ की वजह से इस योजना से नहीं जुड़ रही हैं. इसका नुकसान वहां के बुजुर्गों को होगा. मोदी ने कहा कि सिर्फ राजनीतिक फायदे के लिए दिल्ली और बंगाल की सरकारें ऐसा कर रही हैं. इस बात का उन्हें बेहद दुख है. बुज़ुर्गों के लिए जो आयुष्मान योजना शुरू हुई है, वह उनके लिए वरदान है. इन बुजुर्गों का आशीर्वाद मुझे हमेशा मिला है.
मैं थोड़ा समय लेकर 70 साल से ज्यादा उम्र के दशकों को ये स्कीम समझाना चाहता हूं.
पहला सवाल ये है कि क्या इस योजना का लाभ 70 साल से अधिक उम्र के हर बुजुर्ग को मिलेगा या जिनकी आय ज्यादा है उन्हें इसका फायदा नहीं मिलेगा? इसका जवाब ये है कि 70 साल से अधिक उम्र के हर बुजुर्ग को चाहे उनकी आय कितनी भी हो, 5 लाख रु. तक का इलाज मुफ्त मिलेगा. आपकी आमदनी कितनी भी हो उससे फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा.
दूसरा सवाल ये है कि क्या परिवार के हर बुजुर्ग को 5-5 लाख का इलाज मिलेगा? तो इसका जवाब ये है कि ये योजना परिवार के लिए है. दादा-दादी दोनों कवर होंगे और सालाना पांच लाख रु. कवर को शेयर करेंगे.
अब तीसरा सवाल, अगर परिवार में पहले से कोई आयुष्मान लाभार्थी है तो क्या होगा? अगर परिवार में पहले से आयुष्मान लाभार्थी है तो भी 70 साल से अधिक उम्र वाले बुजुर्गों को अलग से लाभ मिलेगा. उनको आपना KYC अपडेट करना होगा. बुजुर्गों के लिए जो पांच लाख रुपये का लाभ मिलेगा, वह सिर्फ उन्हीं के लिए होगा.कोई कम उम्र वाला व्यक्ति उसे शेयर नहीं कर पाएगा.
चौथा सवाल, अब बुजुर्ग ये पूछेंगे कि अगर किसी ने प्राइवेट कंपनी का स्वास्थ्य बीमा लिया हुआ है तो क्या होगा? इसका जवाब है कि स्वास्थ्य बीमा होने के बावजूद बुजुर्ग आयुष्मान भारत-प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना का लाभ उठा सकेंगे. लेकिन अगर आप सरकारी कर्मचारी रह चुके हैं..आपके पास CGHS का कार्ड है..जिसमें आपके सारे medical expenses कवर होते हैं तो आपको CGHS या आयुष्मान योजना दोनों में से किसी एक को चुनना होगा. दोनों का लाभ एक साथ नहीं मिलेगा. 70 से ज्यादा उम्र के बुजुर्गों को आयुष्मान भारत योजना का लाभ उठाने के लिए अलग से कार्ड बनवाना होगा, जिसकी प्रक्रिया 29 अक्टूबर से शुरु हो गई.
मैं नरेंद्र मोदी की तारीफ करूंगा कि उन्होंने देश के बुजुर्गों के लिए ये योजना शुरू की और इसे आय से न जोड़कर इसे बहुत आसान बना दिया. उन्हें बड़े-बूढ़ों का आशीर्वाद ज़रूर मिलेगा.
Free Health Cover: Modi’s Festival Gift to Elderly
On Dhanteras, when Indians worshipped God Dhanwantari and Kuber for good health and prosperity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched free Rs 5 lakh medical insurance to all citizens aged 70 years and above, irrespective of their income level. This is part of the flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat-PM Jan Arogya Yojana which was launched in 2018 for vulnerable sections with a cover of Rs 5 lakh per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation.
Modi apologized to the elderly people living in Delhi and West Bengal for being “unable to serve” them since the governments of these states have not joined Ayushman Bharat scheme. This will deprive millions of elderly people above 70 years free healthcare. So far, nearly four crore poor people have availed benefits under Ayushman Bharat scheme, Modi said. These poor people would have shelled out Rs 1.25 lakh crore from their own pockets, if they had not been covered under this scheme, the PM said.
Let me explain in brief the benefits that citizens above 70 years of age will get under Ayushman Bharat scheme. One, they will get free hospitalization cover upto Rs 5 lakh, irrespective of their income. Two, elderly couple above 70 will both be covered upto Rs 5 lakh annually under this scheme. If any poor family is already covered under Ayushman scheme, the elderly members above 70 years will get extra benefits of upto Rs 5 lakh. They will have to update their KYC details and the Rs 5 lakh cover will be available only for the elderly. No family member below 70 years can share that cover.
Three, if any elderly citizen is already covered under private medical insurance, he or she will still be entitled to be enrolled under Ayushman scheme. Four, those ex-government employees above 70, already having CGHS card and availing CGHS hospitalization benefits, will have to choose between either CGHS or Ayushman Bharat scheme. They cannot avail benefits of both schemes at a time.
Five, citizens above the age of 70, will have to get their Ayushman Bharat card made, and the process has begun from October 29. I would like to praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching this scheme for the elderly people, without linking it to their income level. Modi is surely going to get the blessings of the elderly Indians.
महाराष्ट्र चुनाव: बड़े परिवार, नई तकरार
महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव में नामांकन भरने के अंतिम क्षण तक महा विकास आघाड़ी और महायुति में सीटों के बंटवारे को लेकर खींचतान जारी थी. कांग्रेस को 105 से ज्यादा सीटों की उम्मीद है, हालांकि पार्टी ने 102 उम्मीदवारों के नामों का ऐलान किया है. शिव सेना (उद्धव) की तरफ से 84, और एनसीपी(शरद) की तरफ से 82 उम्मीदवार घोषित हुए हैं. 18 सीटों पर मामला अटका हुआ है. यही हाल महायुति में भी है. महायुति से कुल 260 सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों का एलान हो चुका है, इनमें बीजेपी ने 146, शिंदे की शिवसेना ने 65 और अजित पवार की पार्टी ने 49 उम्मीदवार मैदान में उतारे हैं. 28 सीटों को लेकर अभी भी सस्पेंस है.
सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिन्दे, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पृथ्वीराज चव्हाण. पूर्व सीएम अशोक चव्हाण की बेटी श्रीजया चव्हाण, राज ठाकरे के बेटे अमित ठाकरे, नवाब मलिक की बेटी सना मलिक, बाबा सिद्दीकी के बेटे ज़ीशान सिद्दीकी, समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता अबु आजमी जैसे तमाम नेताओं ने पर्चे भरे. अजित पवार के खिलाफ अपने पोते युगेन्द्र पवार का नामांकन जमा कराने खुद शरद पवार पहुंचे. इस दौरान पार्टियों में बगावत की खबरें भी आईं.
इस बार चुनाव की सबसे रोचक लड़ाई बारामती में होगी. शरद पवार का परिवार आमने सामने हैं. महायुति की तरफ से शरद पवार के भतीजे अजित पवार हैं और महाविकास अघाड़ी की तरफ से शरद पवार के पोते और अजीत पवार के भतीजे युगेन्द्र पवार हैं. इस सीट पर अजित पवार 1991 से, यानि 33 साल से लगातार विधायक हैं. सात बार चुनाव जीत चुके हैं लेकिन इस बार पहली बार शरद पवार से अलग होकर अलग पार्टी बनाकर चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं.
सोमवार को अजित पवार ने रोड शो किया. नामांकन जमा करने के बाद अजित पवार ने कहा कि घर के झगड़े चार दीवारी के बीच सुलझने चाहिए और ये जिम्मेदारी घर के बुजुर्गों की होती है. अजित पवार ने कहा कि उन्होंने जो गलती लोकसभा चुनाव में सुप्रिया सुले के खिलाफ अपनी पत्नी सुनेत्रा को मैदान में उतार कर की थी, इस बार वही गलती शरद पवार ने युगेन्द्र को उतार कर की है. अजित पवार ने कहा कि लोकसभा चुनाव में उन्हें गलती की सजा मिली थी, अब विधानसभा चुनाव में बारामती की जनता शरद पवार को सजा देगी. पर्चा भरने के बाद युगेंद्र ने अजित पवार को लेकर कुछ नहीं कहा. उन्होंने कहा कि शरद पवार उनके गुरू हैं, मार्गदर्शक हैं और वो उनके ही बताए रास्ते पर चलने की कोशिश करेंगे.
सुप्रिया सुले ने कहा कि बारामती में परिवार की नहीं विचारधारा की लड़ाई है. लेकिन हकीकत यही है कि झगड़ा तो परिवार का है और टक्कर कांटे की है क्योंकि अजित पवार 33 साल से इस सीट पर जीत रहे हैं. बारामती में NCP का काडर उन्होंने तैयार किया. इस बार बीजेपी और एकनाथ शिन्दे की शिवसेना का समर्थन भी है. इसलिए अजित पवार आतम्विश्वास से भरे नज़र आ रहे हैं. लेकिन अजित पवार जानते हैं कि शरद पवार 1965 से, यानि 59 साल से बारामती में राजनीति कर रहे हैं, वो बुजुर्ग जरूर हैं लेकिन सियासत में उनके उस्ताद हैं. वो लोकसभा चुनाव में ये साबित कर चुके हैं और विधानसभा चुनाव में युगेन्द्र की उम्मीदवारी तो शरद पवार की चुनावी शतरंज की पहली चाल है. आगे शरद पवार क्या गुल खिलाएंगे, ये सिर्फ वही जानते हैं.
बारामती के नतीजा अजीत पवार के राजनीतिक करियर के लिए गेमचेंजर साबित होगा जबकि शरद पवार के लिए बारामती प्रतिष्ठा का सवाल है. बारामती के फैसले से ही तय होगा कि असली NCP किसकी है. इसीलिए इस बार बारामती का चुनाव रोचक होगा. बारामती की तरह महाविकास आघाड़ी ने ठाणे में एकनाथ शिन्दे को घेरने की कोशिश की है. ठाणे की कोपरी पाचपाखड़ी सीट पर एकनाथ शिन्दे ने नामांकन दाखिल किया. इस सीट पर उद्धव शिवसेना ने एकनाथ शिंदे के राजनीतिक गुरू आनंद दिघे के भतीजे केदार दिघे को मैदान में उतारा है. एकनाथ शिन्दे ने दावा किया कि सिर्फ नाम से कुछ नहीं होता, जनता काम देखती है. ठाणे में शिंदे ने रोड शो करके अपनी ताकत दिखाई. इस जुलूस में डिप्टी सीएम देवेंद्र फडणवीस मौजूद थे.
देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि सिर्फ खून का रिश्ता होने से कोई वारिस नहीं बन जाता, वारिस वो होता है जो उनके विचार को आगे लेकर जाता है और आनंद दिघे के विचार को आगे ले जाने का काम एकनाथ शिंदे ने किया है. कोपरी पाचपाखड़ी सीट पर एकनाथ शिन्दे 2009 से लगातर जीत रहे हैं. तीन चुनाव में उनकी जीत का अंतर हर बार बढ़ा है. पिछले चुनाव में उन्हें पैंसठ प्रतिशत से ज्यादा वोट मिले थे. ठाणे को एकनाथ शिन्दे का गढ़ माना जाता है.
इस बार मुंबई की माहिम सीट पर भी मुकाबला रोचक होगा. महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना के चीफ राज ठाकरे के बेटे अमित ठाकरे पहली बार लड़ रहे हैं. राज ठाकरे के बेटे के खिलाफ उद्धव ठाकरे ने महेश सावंत को टिकट दिय़ा है. अमित ठाकरे वर्ली से चुनाव लड़ रहे उद्धव ठाकरे के बेटे और अपने cousin आदित्य ठाकरे को भी शुभकामनाएं दी लेकिन राज ठाकरे का परिवार इस बात से नाराज है कि उद्धव ने अपने भतीजे के खिलाफ उम्मीदवार उतारा है. असल में आदित्य ठाकरे जब 2019 में चुनाव लड़े तो राज ठाकरे ने वर्ली सीट से उम्मीदवार नहीं उतारा था लेकिन उद्धव ने ऐसा नहीं किया. इसलिए राज ठाकरे की पत्नी शर्मिला ने कहा कि ये उनका संस्कार है कि उन्होंने आदित्य को वॉकओवर दिया था, अब उद्धव ने उस परंपरा को नहीं निभाया तो MNS ने भी इस बार वर्ली से आदित्य के खिलाफ उम्मीदवार उतारा है.
महाराष्ट्र के चुनाव में इस बार परिवारों के झगड़ों की बड़ी रोचक तस्वीरें देखने को मिली है. जिन अजित पवार को शरद पवार ने बारामती में 33 साल पहले चुनाव जिता कर अपना उत्तराधिकारी बनाया था, अब वही शरद पवार उन्हीं अजित दादा को अपने पोते से हरवाना चाहते हैं. वो बताना चाहते हैं कि पवार परिवार का असली दादा कौन है. जिन एकनाथ शिंदे को ठाणे में आनंद दिघे ने अपना उत्तराधिकारी बनाया, उन्ही आनंद दीघे के भतीजे शिंदे को चुनौती दे रहे हैं. जो राज ठाकरे अपने आप को बाला साहेब ठाकरे का उत्तराधिकारी मान बैठे थे, उनका बेटा चुनाव के मैदान में है और बड़े भाई उद्धव भतीजे को पटकने की फिराक में हैं.
राज ठाकरे ने भी भतीजे आदित्य ठाकरे के खिलाफ उम्मीदवार खड़ा कर दिया है. यहां दोनों जगह भाई-भाई की लड़ाई देखने को मिलेगी. बाबा सिद्दीकी के बेटे ज़ीशान को अपने पिता की विरासत और उनके प्रति हमदर्दी का फायदा मिलेगा. सना मलिक के लिए अपने पिता के केस मुसीबत पेश करेंगे. अनिल देशमुख अपने खिलाफ केस की दुहाई देकर अपने बेटे के लिए वोट मांग रहे हैं. महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति में बेटा-बेटी, भतीजा-भतीजी, पोता-पोती सब मैदान में हैं और ये दोनों तरफ है. इसीलिए शायद इस बार के चुनाव में राजनीति में परिवारवाद की बात यहां कोई नहीं करेगा.
Maharashtra Elections: First Families At War
There was a flurry of nominations by close kin of top political leaders of Maharashtra, as filing of nominations for assembly polls closed on Tuesday. Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi and BJP-led Mahayuti were still locked in consultations to iron out differences over the remaining seats.
On Monday, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, former CM Prithviraj Chavan, former CM Ashok Chavan’s daughter Srijaya Chavan, MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray, Nawab Malik’s daughter Sana Malik, Late Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui, Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi and several others filed nominations. NCP patriarch Sharad Pawar himself accompanied his grandson Yugendra Pawar in Baramati, who is contesting against his grand uncle Ajit Pawar. There were reports of local rebellion in several parties.
As of now, Congress expects to field more than 105 candidates, though it has announced names of 102 candidates, while Shiv Sena (UBT) has announced 84 and NCP(Sharad Pawar) 82 candidates. 18 seats are still left undecided in MVA.
The most spectacular contest will be in Baramati, where Ajit ‘Dada’ Pawar will be facing Sharad Pawar’s grandson Yugendra Pawar. Ajit Pawar has been consistently winning this seat since 1991, and he has been an MLA for 33 years. Ajit Pawar admitted that he made a mistake by fielding his wife Sunetra to contest against Supriya Sule during the Lok Sabha elections, but this time people will ‘punish’ Sharad Pawar for committing the same mistake.
Yugendra Pawar is contesting elections for the first time in his life. After filing nomination, Yugendra described his grandpa Sharad Pawar as his ‘guru’ and ‘markdarshak’. Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule said, the fight in Baramati is between ideologies and not between members of a family.
But the real fact is: the fight is in the family and it could be a tough and close contest. It was Ajit Pawar who trained the NCP cadre in Baramati for 33 years, and this time, he has the support of BJP and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. That is why Ajit Pawar looks confident, but he also understands that his uncle Sharad Pawar has been doing politics in Baramati since 59 years and he has proved his mettle during the Lok Sabha elections.
The Baramati result will prove to be a gamechanger for Ajit Pawar’s political career, and as far as Sharad Pawar is concerned, the result from Baramati will decide to which camp the real NCP belongs.
The second most interesting battle will be in Kopri Pachpakhri seat of Thane, where Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be facing Kedar Dighe, the nephew of his political guru Anand Dighe. Kedar Dighe has been fielded by Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena. Deputy CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who accompanied Eknath Shinde on his roadshow on Monday, said, “mere blood relation does not make anybody a successor. A successor emerges only by dint of his work and thoughts and Eknath Shinde is the real successor of Anand Dighe”.
Eknath Shinde has been consistently winning this seat since 2009 and in the last election, he got more than 65 per cent votes. Thane is considered the citadel of Eknath Shinde, and his party candidate Naresh Mhaske had won this year’s Lok Sabha elections.
The third interesting battle is in Mahim, Mumbai, where Raj Thackeray’s son Amit will be testing the electoral waters for the first time. He is facing Mahesh Sawant of Shiv Sena (UBT). Uddhav’s son Aaditya Thackeray is contesting from Worli, where MNS has fielded a candidate in a tit-for-tat action.
Overall, people will be witnessing interesting intra-dynasty battles this time. It was Ajit Pawar who was fielded by his uncle Sharad Pawar from Baramati 33 years ago, and now the tide has turned. Sharad Pawar has fielded his grandson to defeat his nephew Ajit this time. Sharad Pawar wants to tell the people of Maharashtra, who is the real ‘Dada’ of Pawar dynasty.
Similarly, Anand Dighe had anointed Eknath Shinde as his successor in Shiv Sena, but now Anand Dighe’s nephew will be challenging Eknath Shinde. Raj Thackeray used to consider himself the real successor of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray, but now he has fielded his son to defeat his cousin Udhav Thackeray’s candidate. So, one would be watching a battle between brothers in Mahim.
Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan is going to get the sympathy vote after the murder of his father, and he is going to claim his father’s legacy. For Sana Malik, his father Nawab Malik’s cases can pose problems. On the other hand, Anil Deshmukh is seeking votes for his son by telling voters about the cases filed against him. In Maharashtra politics, sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, grand sons and grand daughters are all in the fray. It is a situation where nobody will be raising the issue of dynastic politics this time.
India-China Understanding: Much to learn for the West
This year’s Diwali will be a different one for our brave jawans and officers deployed near the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. Nearly 50 per cent of troop disengagement has been completed in Depsang and Demchok by Friday evening, and the Indian Army plans to begin patrolling in coordination with the Chinese army in the two areas by October-end. Talks are going on over issues like ‘buffer zones’ which had been created earlier in the region with high altitude.
The disengagement in Depsang and Demchok will be over by October 28 or 29, and the patrolling from both sides, with prior intimation to avoid face-offs, will begin after mutual verification. Dismantling of temporary posts, sheds, tents and other structures and pullback of troops in Depsang and Demchok to pre-April 2020 position is going on and is being closely monitored both on the ground and from the air by using drones.
In Demchok, Indian troops are moving back towards the west from Charding Nullah, while Chinese army has withdrawn some of its vehicles after dismantling nearly a dozen temporary structures.
Two days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping had discussed the border issue and it was decided to resume Special Representative level talks on solving the vexed India-China border dispute. Till last week, nobody could have imagined that troops of both sides would resume patrolling near the friction points in Ladakh so soon, and a tension-free Diwali would be celebrated by our brave jawans.
Prime Minister Modi had been roundly criticized by our opposition leaders for the last two years over the Ladakh border tension issue. Opposition leaders had been alleging that China has occupied a large part of our territory in Ladakh and Modi has “surrendered” before the Chinese. Modi never replied, nor got provoked over these allegations.
Modi preferred to work silently, used diplomatic techniques and displayed military power. He was neither in awe of the Chinese, nor did he bow down. I think Modi might have used the good offices of his friend Russian President Vladimir Putin for improving relations with China. It suits Putin if India and China join hands, and appear to stand with Russia.
Putin can then claim before the West that Russia is now a major power that is not isolated from the rest of the world. Those who have been making fun of Modi and asking questions on when he would show his “red eyes” at China, will now have red eyes.
If India-China relations improve, it will be a pain in the neck for Rahul Gandhi. Rahul will then realize that he made a mistake in trusting the Chinese more rather than believing in Modi’s claim.
The world is today abuzz with talks about the rapprochment between India and China and how the border issue in Ladakh was resolved through bilateral talks. This can be shown as an example to the European Union and other Western powers on how to bring an end to the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Middle East.

इस साल दीवाली के दिन भारत-चीन सीमा पर माहौल थोड़ा बदला हुआ होगा. वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा पर साढ़े चार साल बाद दोनों देशों की पेट्रोलिंग फिर से शुरू होगी. सीमा पर सैनिकों का जमावड़ा भी कम होगा क्योंकि सीमा पर शान्ति का समाझौता होने के बाद LAC पर भारत और चीन की सेना पीछे हटने लगी है.
मंगलवार को भारत और चीन के लोकल सेना कमांडरों की मीटिंग हुई जिसके बाद 23 अक्टूबर से दोनों तरफ की सेनाओं के पीछे हटने की प्रक्रिया शुरु हो गई. सबसे पहले दोनों सेनाओं ने डेपसांग और डेमचोक में अपने एक -एक टेंट हटाए, LAC पर जो अस्थायी ढांचे बनाए गए थे, उन्हें गुरुवार को तोड़ा गया. शुक्रवार सुबह से भारत और चीन के सैनिक LAC से पीछे हटने शुरू हो गए.
डेमचोक में भारतीय सेना के जवान चार्डिंग नाले से पश्चिम की तरफ़ पीछे हटे, वहीं चीन की सेना इस नाले से पूरब की तरफ़ पीछे हट रही है. डेमचोक में दोनों देशों ने अपने सैनिकों के लिए करीब एक दर्जन अस्थायी ढांचे बनाए थे, उन्हें तोड़ा जा रहा है.
डेपसांग में चीनी सेना ने गाड़ियों के बीच तिरपाल लगाकर अपने सैनिकों को तैनात किया था चीनी सेना ने अपनी कुछ गाड़ियां पीछे हटाईं हैं. दोनों देशों ने डेपसांग और डेमचोक में सैनिकों की तैनाती में करीब 50 प्रतिशत की कमी की है. पीछे हटने की प्रक्रिया 28-29 अक्टूबर तक पूरी होने की उम्मीद है.
इसके बाद, भारत और चीन के सैनिक अपने अपने इलाक़ों में पैट्रोलिंग करेंगे. इससे पहले भारत और चीन दोनों ही एक दूसरे के सैनिकों के पीछे हटने का ज़मीनी स्तर पर सत्यापन करेंगे. यानी मौक़े पर जाकर देखेंगे कि सच में सैनिक पीछे हटें हैं या नहीं, गाड़ियां हटाई गई हैं या नहीं, और अस्थायी ढांचे तोड़े गए हैं या नहीं. ड्रोन से भी डिसएंगेजमेंट का वीडियो बनाया जाएगा ताकि दोनों देशों के कमांडर पूरी प्रक्रिया की समीक्षा कर सकें. दोनों सेनाओं के लोकल कमांडर्स दिन में दो बार एक दूसरे से बात करेंगे. फिर कोर कमांडर स्तर की बातचीत होगी.
दो दिन पहले रूस के कज़ान में ब्रिक्स सम्मेलन के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग के बीच बातचीत हुई थी और दोनों नेताओं ने 62 साल पुराने सीमा विवाद के हल के लिए अपने अपने देश के विशेष प्रतिनिधियों को जल्द मुलाक़ात करके बातचीत करने को कहा था.
भारत के विशेष प्रतिनिधि अजित डोभाल हैं, जबकि चीन के विशेष प्रतिनिधि वहां के विदेश मंत्री वांग यी हैं. पिछले हफ्ते तक कोई सोच भी नहीं सकता था कि इस बार दिवाली पर हमारे जवान और अफसर चीन की सीमा पर पहले की तरह गश्त लगाएंगे. हमारे बहादुर जवान चीन की सीमा पर बिना किसी तनाव के दिवाली मनाएंगे.
पिछले दो साल में चीन के सवाल पर नरेंद्र मोदी की खूब आलोचना की गई. कहा गया कि मोदी चीन से डरते हैं, चीन ने हमारी ज़मीन पर कब्जा कर लिया, मोदी ने चीन के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया. मोदी ने ऐसी किसी बात का जवाब नहीं दिया. वो उत्तेजित नहीं हुए. मोदी चुपचाप काम करते रहे, डिप्लोमेसी का इस्तेमाल किया, सैन्य ताकत भी दिखाई. न चीन से डरे, न चीन के आगे झुके.
मुझे तो ये भी लगता है कि मोदी ने चीन से संबंध सुधारने के लिए पुतिन से भी अपनी दोस्ती का थोड़ा बहुत फायदा उठाया होगा. पुतिन को भी सूट करता है कि भारत और चीन दोनों साथ रहें और रूस के साथ खड़े दिखाई दें, तभी वो अमेरिका के सामने एक बड़ी ताकत होने का दावा कर सकते हैं.
अब हमारे यहां चीन की लाल आंख की बात करने वालों की आंखें लाल हो जाएंगी. चीन और भारत के रिश्ते सुधरे, तो राहुल को काफी मुश्किल होगी. उन्हें इस बात का अहसास होगा कि उन्होंने मोदी की बात मानने की बजाय चीन के दावों पर विश्वास किया.
चीन के साथ समझौते की आज पूरी दुनिया में चर्चा हो रही है कि किस तरह एशिया की दो बड़ी ताकतों ने आपसी विवाद को बातचीत से हल किया. यह यूरोप और मध्य पूर्व में चल रहे युद्धों को ख़त्म करने की दिशा में उदाहरण बन सकता है.
