Shiv Sena: Uddhav, Shinde must learn from Balasaheb
The ongoing tussle over Shiv Sena properties and acccounts between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray factions has reached the Supreme Court, with the Thackeray faction urging the apex court to stay the Election Commission order. The Election Commission had granted recognition to the Shinde faction as the real Shiv Sena and allotted the official party symbol ‘bow and arrow’. The Thackeray faction now fears that the Shinde faction will take over Shiv Sena properties and bank accounts in pursuance of the EC order.
Uddhav Thackeray is more worried about the party properties, after having lost recognition and official election symbol. Uddhav’s senior advocate Kapil Sibal told the apex court on Tuesday that unless the “erroneous” EC order is stayed forthwith, the Shinde faction will take over everything, including the assets of Shiv Sena and its bank accounts. “They have already taken over the Sena political party office in the assembly”, Sibal told the bench of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justice Krishna Murari and Justice P S Narasimha.
On Tuesday, the Shinde faction took possession of the Shiv Sena parliamentary office inside the Parliament complex. Out of 19 Lok Sabha MPs that the undivided Shiv Sena had, 13 have switched to the Shinde camp, while six LS MPs and three Rajya Sabha MPs are now left with the Thackeray group.
The Shinde-led Shiv Sena national executive, in a meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday, gave all powers to the chief minister to take decisions relating to the party. Shinde clarified that the party would not stake claim to anyone’s property or funds, but the Thackeray faction is now on full alert.
On Tuesday, Thackeray camp leader Sanjay Raut brought a ‘rate card’ alleging that “rates” have been fixed to induct MLA, MPs, corporators and Shakha Pramukhs by the rival camp. He alleged that Shinde has appointed agents for “purchasing” party leaders. Raut said, Rs 75 crore is being offered to each MP, Rs 50 crore to each MLA, Rs two crore to purchase each corporator and Rs 50 lakhs is being offered to buy each Shakha Pramukh. He alleged that nearly Rs 2,000 crore has been spent for buying leaders during the last five months. State minister and Shinde camp leader Deepak Kesarkar rubbished the allegation as baseless. He said, ‘Sanjay Raut appears to be desperate and frustrated’.
Sources in Shiv Sena say, the party has presently nearly Rs 382 crore worth properties, out of which Rs 186.83 crore is in the general fund, Rs 172 crore has been locked in investments and Rs 3 crore in fixed deposits.
Uddhav Thackeray fears all these funds may be taken over by the rival camp. He is also apprehensive about the party headquarters Shiv Sena Bhavan and Matoshri bungalow. Sanjay Raut claims that Shiv Sena Bhavan is a trust property and it does not belong to the party. He is right. Shiv Sena Bhavan, built in Dadar, Mumbai, is the property of Shivaya Seva Trust set up by party founder Balasaheb Thackeray in 1966. Work on the Sena Bhavan began in 1974 and was completed in 1977. The original owner of the plot was a Muslim, Umar Bhai, who donated it to Shivaya Seva Trust.
Balasaheb Thackeray was never a member of this trust. The trust has Balasaheb’s wife Meenatai Thackeray, Hemchandra Gupta, Vaman Mahadik, Madhav Deshpande, Sudhir Joshi, Liladhar Dake, Shyam Deshmukh, Kusum Shirke and Bhalchandra Desai, all founding members of Shiv Sena. Later Kusum Shirke, Shyam Deshmukh and Bhalchandra Desai resigned, Meenatai Thackeray, Vaman Mahadik and Hemchandra Gupta passed away.
Later Uddhav’s close confidantes Arvind Sawant, Ravindra Mirlekar, Visakha Raut, Subhash Desai and Diwakar Raute were made trustees. Till 18 months ago, Uddhav Thackeray was not part of the trust, but after he became the Chief Minister, his name was added as a trustee. Meanwhile, a legal firm in Mumbai has sent a notice to the Commissioner of Charities questioning how a trust property can be used for political purposes.
‘Matoshri’, the five-storeyed building built by Balasaheb Thackeray, may also be embroiled in controversy. Shinde camp may stake claim to ‘Matoshri’. The late Balasaheb Thackeray had kept two out of the five floors of the building for his family. He had made this clear in his will. The ground floor, which includes a hall, has been kept for Shiv Sena meetings, there is a hall on second floor, Ambey Mata temple on third floor, Aditya Thackeray’s Yuva Sena office is on the fourth floor, and on the fifth floor is Uddhav Thackeray’s office.
On Tuesday, Sanjay Raut wrote a letter to Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Mumbai police chief alleging that Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde has given a ‘supari’ to murder him to a gangster named Raja Thakur, who has recently come out of jail. Fadnavis immediately reacted saying he did not know whether Raut has written this letter seeking security or to create unnecessary sensation. He promised to get the matter investigated.
The entire issue revolves around who will ultimately take over the Shiv Sena, the party that was neither built by Uddhav Thackeray nor by Eknath Shinde. The properties of Shiv Sena, like Shiv Sena Bhavan and Matoshri, were neither built by Uddhav Thackeray nor by Eknath Shinde. All these properties were created by the late Balasaheb Thackeray. It was he, who over the years, built the organisation, the party and its properties, brick by brick, with the help and contribution of millions of Shiv Sena workers.
Uddhav Thackeray is staking claim on Balasaheb’s legacy, Eknath Shinde is laying claim on Balasaheb’s ideology, but the fact is: it was Shinde who cheated Uddhav Thackeray, who was made Shiv Sena Pramukh by Balasaheb. But Uddhav, on his part, by entering into alliance with Congress, cheated his father’s legacy. How can they claim to be successors of Balasaheb Thackeray?
Throughout his active political life, Balasaheb Thackeray never aspired to become chief minister. He never staked his claim on any property or trust, when he was alive. Had Uddhav and Shinde followed Balasaheb’s principles and ideals, Shiv Sena would not have split. The flames of the current crisis are now raging in the minds of millions of Shiv Sena ‘karyakartas’, who revered Balasaheb as their Supreme Leader. They are now at a loss: Where to go?
लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में हों तो अपने माता-पिता को जरूर बताएं
हाल ही में दिल्ली और मुंबई में दो लड़कियों की उनके लिव-इन पार्टनर द्वारा निर्मम हत्या एक नई बुराई को उजागर करती है जिसने हमारे समाज को, और विशेष रूप से हमारी युवा पीढ़ी को अपना शिकार बनाया है। दोनों ही मामलों में हत्यारे उनके बॉयफ्रेंड थे। दोनों लड़कियां लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में रह रही थीं।
दिल्ली में लड़के ने सुबह एक लड़की के साथ सगाई की, और फिर रात में 5 साल से लिव-इन में रह रही अपने पार्टनर की मोबाइल फोन के डेटा केबल से गला घोंटकर हत्या कर दी। अगली सुबह उसने पहले लड़की की लाश को फ्रिज में डाला, और शाम को दूसरी लड़की के घर बारात लेकर पहुंच गया, और शादी कर ली।
मुंबई में 3 साल से लिव-इन में रह रही लड़की की हत्या भी उसके साथी ने कर दी। हत्यारे ने पहले उसकी हत्या की और फिर लाश को बेड के बॉक्स में छिपा दिया। उसने घर का बाकी सामान बेचा और दूसरे राज्य में भाग गया। दोनों मामलों में हत्या की वजह सिर्फ इतनी थी कि लड़की ने लड़के पर शादी के लिए दबाव बनाया था। दोनों मामलों में लड़की के परिवार वाले रिश्ते से अनजान थे, उन्हें पता ही नहीं था उनकी बेटी किसी लड़के साथ लिव-इन में रह रही है।
दोनों मामलों में लड़कों ने यह सोचकर हत्या की कि पुलिस उन्हें पकड़ नहीं पाएगी। कत्ल के बाद ये लड़के जिस बेफिक्री के साथ अपनी जिंदगी जी रहे थे, वह हैरान करने वाला है।
भरोसे का यह कत्ल समाज की आंखें खोलने वाला है। ये खबरें उन पैरेन्ट्स के लिए दिल दहलाने वाली हैं, जिनकी बेटियां उनसे दूर किसी दूसरे शहर में पढ़ती हैं, दूसरे शहर में नौकरी करती हैं। दिल्ली और मुंबई जैसे महानगरों में आजकल लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप्स का चलन बढ़ गया है, लेकिन जिस तरह से ऐसे मामलों में बेटियों की जिंदगी खतरे में पड़ रही है, जिस तरह से हत्याएं हो रही हैं, वह सावधान करने वाला है।
निक्की यादव
निक्की यादव हरियाणा के झज्जर की रहने वाली थी। उसके पिता गुरुग्राम में मोटर गैराज चलाते हैं। उसके माता-पिता बच्चों को खूब पढ़ाना लिखाना चाहते थे, और उन्हें एक अच्छी जिंदगी देना चाहते थे, इसलिए निक्की दिल्ली आ गई। सिविल सर्विसेज के लिए कोचिंग करने के दौरान दिल्ली में ही उसकी मुलाकात साहिल से हुई। दोनों ने ग्रेटर नोएडा की एक प्राइवेट यूनिवर्सिटी में एडमिशन लिया। निक्की इंग्लिश ऑनर्स से पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन कर रही थी, जबकि साहिल पढ़ाई बीच में छोड़कर उत्तम नगर में रहने लगा, और निक्की भी उसके साथ लिव-इन में रहने लगी। कमरा किराए पर लेने के लिए साहिल और निक्की ने खुद को पति और पत्नी बताया था। साहिल के घरवाले इस रिश्ते के खिलाफ थे, और उन्होंने 10 फरवरी को उसकी शादी तय कर दी थी।
शादी से एक दिन पहले साहिल ने एक लड़की के साथ सगाई की। निक्की को इसकी जानकारी हुई तो उसने साहिल पर शादी के लिए दबाव बनाया। दोनों में झगड़ा हुआ, और बाद में साहिल ने पूरी प्लानिंग के साथ निक्की को घुमाने के लिए ले जाने का बहाना बनाया। 9 फरवरी की रात दोनों गाड़ी से निकले, पहले निजामुद्दीन रेलवे स्टेशन गए, और फिर कश्मीरी गेट पहुंचे। इसी दौरान साहिल ने गाड़ी में मोबाइल फोन के डेटा केबल से निक्की की गला घोंटकर हत्या कर दी। उसने निक्की की लाश को गाड़ी की को-ड्राइवर सीट पर सीट बेल्ट लगाकर बैठाया, और उसे इसी तरह 40 किलोमीटर दूर मितरवां गांव मे अपने ढाबे पर ले गया। उसने ढाबे में रखे फ्रिज में निक्की की लाश को डाला, और अपने घर चला गया। अगले दिन 10 फरवरी को वह बारात लेकर दूसरी लड़की के घर पहुंच गया, और शादी कर ली।
किसी को भी साहिल के जघन्य अपराध के बारे में भनक तक नहीं लगी। निक्की को साहिल के साथ अपने रिश्ते पर काफी भरोसा था। उसने दोनों के गोवा जाने के लिए रेल का टिकट बुक कराया था। दिल्ली पुलिस को शक है कि साहिल ने निक्की की हत्या करने के लिए सोचा-समझा प्लान तैयार किया था और बाद में उसकी लाश को ठिकाने लगाने वाला था ताकि वह अपनी पत्नी के साथ एक सामान्य जीवन जी सके।
साहिल के पूरे प्लान पर पानी तब फिरा जब निक्की के पिता ने अपनी बेटी के बारे में पूछने के लिए उसको फोन किया। साहिल ने उसे बताया कि वह देहरादून और मसूरी गई है और अगले दो-तीन दिनों में वापस आ जाएगी। निक्की के पिता को शक हुआ, और उन्होंने 14 फरवरी को दिल्ली पुलिस को बेटी की गुमशुदगी के बारे में बताया। पूछताछ के दौरान, साहिल ने पहले तो गुमराह करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन तब तक पुलिस ने निक्की के मोबाइल फोन की आखिरी लोकेशन नोट कर ली थी। लगातार पूछताछ के बाद साहिल टूट गया, और निक्की की लाश को बरामद कर लिया गया।
बुधवार की शाम झज्जर में निक्की का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। दिल्ली पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच के स्पेशल कमिश्नर रवींद्र यादव ने कहा, अगर साहिल लाश को को ठिकाने लगाने में कामयाब हो जाता तो मामले को सुलझाना मुश्किल हो सकता था। यह मामला श्रद्धा वालकर के केस से काफी मिलता-जुलता है, जिसकी लाश को उसके लिव-इन पार्टनर आफताब पूनावाला ने कई महीने पहले टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके दक्षिण दिल्ली के जंगल में फेंक दिया था।
मेघा
मुंबई के पास पालघर में एक हीरा व्यापारी का बेटा हार्दिक शाह पिछले तीन साल से मेघा के साथ लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में था। कुछ महीने पहले हार्दिक और मेघा नालासोपारा इलाके में किराए पर फ्लैट लेकर लिव-इन में रहने लगे थे।
हार्दिक बेरोजगार था और मेघा नर्स का काम करती थी। घर का सारा खर्च मेघा की सैलरी से ही चलता था। इसी बात को लेकर मेघा का हार्दिक से झगड़ा होता था कि वह कुछ काम क्यों नहीं करता, ऐसे कब तक चलेगा। मेघा, हार्दिक से शादी करने को कहती थी, कोई नौकरी खोजने को कहती थी। इसी बात से नाराज होकर हार्दिक ने मेघा की गला घोंटकर हत्या कर दी, और उसकी लाश को बेड के बॉक्स में छिपा दिया। उसी दौरान हार्दिक ने घर में रखा कूलर, फ्रिज, वॉशिंग मशीन, सब औने-पौन दामों में बेच दिया। इसके बाद वह मेघा की लाश को बेड के बॉक्स में रखकर फरार हो गया।
जब पड़ोसियों को घर से बदबू आनी शुरू हई तो पुलिस को खबर दी गई। पुलिस जब दरवाजा तोड़कर घर के अंदर घुसी तो मेघा की लाश को बेड के बॉक्स में पाया। मेघा की हत्या करने के बाद हार्दिक भागकर राजस्थान चला गया थे लेकिन फोन की लोकेशन से पुलिस ने उसे ढूंढ़ निकाला। हार्दिक शाह के लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप की जानकारी होने पर उसके माता-पिता ने उसे घर से बेदखल कर दिया था।
पहले श्रद्धा वालकर, और अब दिल्ली की निक्की और मुंबई की मेघा। तीनों अपने बॉयफ्रेंड्स के साथ लिव-इन में रह रही थीं। लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में, जहां परिवार के सदस्यों को कोई जानकारी नहीं होती, वहां पार्टनर की जान लेना आसान हो जाता है।
ऐसे कई केस सामने आए हैं जहां महिलाओं को उनके लिव-इन पार्टनर ने मार डाला, लेकिन ये मामले हाइलाइट नहीं हुए। दिल्ली के रोहिणी में लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में रह रही शादीशुदा महिला पूनम की उसके साथी संजय ने हत्या कर दी थी। दिल्ली में ही तिलक नगर में मनप्रीत ने अपनी 7 साल पुरानी लिव-इन पार्टनर रेखा को मार डाला। गाजियाबाद में रमन नाम के शख्स नेअपनी लिव-इन पार्टनर दिव्या की हत्या कर दी और लाश को जंगल में ठिकाने लगा दिया। इसी तरह के और भी कई मामले हैं।
स्वाभाविक तौर पर आज हर माता पिता के मन में सवाल है कि क्या बेटी को दूसरे शहर में पढ़ने या काम करने के लिए भेजना खतरनाक तो नहीं है। सबको डर है कि उनकी बेटी कहीं किसी लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में तो नहीं। माता-पिता की यह परेशानी गलत नहीं है, एक भी ऐसा केस होता है तो उनके रातों की नींद उड़ जाती है।
इसलिए लड़कियां हों या लड़के, अगर वे लिव-इन रिलेशनशिप में हैं, तो इसकी जानकारी उनके माता-पिता को होनी ही चाहिए। अनबन हो जाए, झगड़ा हो जाए तो माता-पिता को बताना चाहिए। यह मानकर नहीं बैठ जाना चाहिए कि प्यार तो अंधा होता है। बदले हुए जमाने में सावधानी बरतने में ही समझदारी है।
Live-in relationships: Keep your parents informed
The brutal murders of two girls in Delhi and Mumbai recently by their live-in partners highlight a new evil that has afflicted our society in general and our young generation in particular. In both the cases, the killers were their boyfriends. Both the victims were in a live-in relationship.
In Delhi, the boyfriend attended his betrothal ceremony in the morning, and in the evening, he strangulated his live-in partner to death with a cellphone data cable. By next morning, he hid the body inside a refrigerator in his dhaba, locked it, and in the evening, he led a ‘baraat’ to marry the girl he was betrothed to.
In Mumbai, the victim was living with her boyfriend in a live-in relationship for three years. Her partner killed her and hid the body inside the box of his bed. He sold off all other goods in the flat and fled to another state. In both the cases, the female partners were pressing their boyfriends for marriage. In both cases, the girls’ families did not know that their daughters were in a live-in relationship.
In both cases, the boyfriends murdered their live-in partners hoping they would not be caught by police. It is surprising how these boys were living a normal life after committing heinous murders.
Such horrendous crimes should make us all sit up and think. Both these incidents will surely worry all those parents whose daughters stay away from the family to study or work in other cities. Cases of live-in relationship among young couples is on the rise in India’s metros, and such murders should act as a caution for all of us.
NIKKI YADAV
The girl, Nikki Yadav, hailed from Jhajjar, near Rohtak, Haryana. Her father runs a car garage in Gurugram. Her parents wanted their daughter to study hard and live a good life. While attending coaching classes in Delhi five years ago, she struck a friendship with Sahil Gehlot. Nikki and Sahil joined a private university in Greater Noida. Nikki was doing post-graduation in English Honours, while Sahil left his education and stayed in Uttam Nagar. Nikki and Sahil rented a flat posing as a married couple. Sahil’s parents were against this relationship. They fixed his wedding for February 10.
A day before his wedding, Sahil attended his ring engagement ceremony. Nikki came to know about this and pressed him for marriage. Sahil took her for an outing in his car. On February 9 night, they went in his car first to Nizamuddin railway station, and from there to Kashmere Gate. While travelling, Sahil strangulated Nikki inside the car by using a cellphone cord, tied the body with the front seat belt, and took it to his dhaba in Mitraon village. He hid the body in the fridge, locked it, went home and the next day, he joined the ‘baraat’ and was married to another girl.
Nobody had a whiff about the heinous crime that Sahil had committed. Before her murder, Nikki was confident about her relationship with Sahil, because he had booked a railway ticket for both to visit Goa. Delhi Police investigators suspect that Sahil had prepared a cold-blooded plan to murder Nikki and wanted to dispose of her body later, so that he could live a normal life with his newly married wife.
His plan went awry when Nikki’s father rang up Sahil to ask about his daughter’s whereabouts. Sahil told him that she had gone to Dehradun and Mussoorie and would return in the next two or three days. His father suspected, and informed Delhi Police on February 14. During questioning, Sahil first tried to mislead, but by then, police had noted down the last location of Nikki’s cellphone. Sahil broke down after sustained interrogation, and the body was recovered.
The last rites of Nikki were performed in Jhajjar on Wednesday evening. Special Commissioner, Crime Branch of Delhi Police Ravindra Yadav said, it could have been difficult to crack the case, had Sahil managed to dispose of the body. The case is almost identical to the case of Shradha Walker, whose body was cut to pieces and thrown in a forest by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala in south Delhi, several months ago.
MEGHA
In Palghar, near Mumbai, Hardik Shah, son of a diamond merchant was in a live-in relationship with Megha for the last three years. Both of them had rented a flat in Nalasopara a few months ago.
Hardik was unemployed while Megha worked as a nurse. This led to frequent quarrels and then Hardik decided to kill her. Megha was insisting on marriage, but Hardik was unwilling. In a fit of anger during a quarrel, Hardik strangulated Megha, hid her body inside the bed box, and started selling off all the articles including cooler, fridge and washing machine, at throwaway prices. Hardik then locked the flat and fled.
When foul odour emanated from the flat, the neighbours informed police and the body was found inside the box of the bed. Police traced Hardik in Rajasthan by checking his cellphone locations. Hardik Shah’s parents had disowned him after hearing about his live-in relationship.
First, Shradha Walker, then Nikki in Delhi, and then Megha in Mumbai. All three were live-in partners with their boyfriends. In live-in relationships, where there are no family members, it becomes easier to kill partners.
There have been several such cases where women have been killed by their live-in partners, but these cases have gone unreported. In Delhi’s Rohini, a married woman Poonam living in a live-in relationship was murdered by her partner Sanjay. In Tilak Nagar, Delhi, one Manpreet murdered his seven-year-old live-in partner Rekha. In Ghaziabad, one Raman killed his live-in partner Divya and threw the body in a forest. There are several other similar cases.
Naturally, parents are worried about their daughters who live away from them in order to pursue education or do jobs. Most of them fear whether their daughters are in a live-in relationship with men or not. It is natural for such parents to be worried.
When sons and daughters decide to opt for live-in relationship, their parents must know. If they have quarrels, they should inform their parents. Times have changed and it would be better for all to remain cautious about such relationships.
कानपुर कांड के गुनहगारों को सख्त से सख्त सजा दें योगी
उत्तर प्रदेश में कानपुर देहात की मैथा तहसील के मड़ौली गांव में सोमवार को बेदखली की कार्रवाई के दौरान एक मां और बेटी की मौत की नृशंस घटना ने देश के लोगों में जबरदस्त आक्रोश भर दिया है।
झोपड़ी को सरकारी बुलडोजर से बचाने के लिए दोनों पीड़ितों के खुद को अंदर बंद करने, झोपड़ी में अचानक आग लगने और जलती झोपड़ी पर बुलडोजर चलने का वीडियो देखकर लोगों का दिल दहल गया। यह सब कुछ पुलिसकर्मियों, महिला कांस्टेबलों, तहसीलदार, लेखपाल और एसडीएम की मौजूदगी में हुआ।
यह झोपड़ी कृष्ण गोपाल दीक्षित की थी जो इस घटना में बुरी तरह झुलस गए, जबकि उनकी पत्नी प्रमिला (41 वर्ष) और बेटी नेहा (21 वर्ष) की आग में जलकर मौत हो गई। वीडियो में साफ देखा जा सकता है कि प्रमिला उनकी झोपड़ी गिराने आए सरकारी अमले का विरोध करती हैं और फिर अपनी बेटी के साथ झोपड़ी के अंदर चली जाती हैं। पुलिसवाले इसके बाद झोपड़ी का दरवाजा तोड़ देते हैं और इसी दौरान उसमें आग लग जाती है। दीक्षित और उनका बेटा शिवम जलती हुई झोपड़ी से किसी तरह बाहर निकलने में कामयाब रहे। प्रमिला और उनकी बेटी अंदर ही फंसी रह जाती हैं और तभी झोपड़ी के बचे-खुचे हिस्से पर भी बुलडोजर चल जाता है। यह तोड़फोड़ लेखपाल द्वारा दायर शिकायत के आधार पर की गई जिसका कहना था कि झोपड़ी ग्राम सभा की जमीन पर बनी थी।
यह किसी को नहीं मालूम की झोपड़ी में आग किसने लगाई। वीडियो में एक अधिकारी की आवाज सुनाई दे रही थी जो बुलडोजर के ड्राइवर को आगे बढ़ने और झोपड़ी को गिराने के लिए कह रहे थे। यह झोपड़ी सिर्फ एक महीने पहले ही एक पक्के घर की जगह पर बनाई गई थी जिसे स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने तुड़वा दिया था। परिवार का दावा है कि उनका घर पुश्तैनी जमीन पर बना है।
चश्मदीदों का कहना है कि कार्रवाई के दौरान लेखपाल ने ही झोपड़ी में आग लगाई थी। घटना के बाद आग भड़कती देख लेखपाल, एसडीएम और उनके साथ आए दूसरे सरकारी कर्मचारी मौके से भाग खड़े हुए।
मामला बिगड़ने के बाद यूपी सरकार के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मड़ौली गांव पहुंचने लगे। कानपुर मंडल के कमिश्नर राजशेखर, ADG आलोक कुमार और कानपुर देहात के एसपी बीएस मूर्ति समेत तमाम बड़े अधिकारी मड़ौली गांव गए और लोगों को शवों का दाह संस्कार करने के लिए मनाने की कोशिश की। उत्तर प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने प्रमिला के बेटे से फोन पर बात की और सभी अपराधियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई का वादा किया। आखिरकार बुधवार की सुबह शवों का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया।
कानपुर मंडल के कमिश्नर राजशेखर के मुताबिक, मैथा तहसील के एसडीएम ज्ञानेश्वर प्रसाद को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है, जबकि बुलडोजर के ड्राइवर दीपक कुमार और लेखपाल अशोक सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। पुलिस ने एसडीएम, लेखपाल, रुरा थाने के थानाध्यक्ष दिनेश कुमार गौतम, 3 अन्य अधिकारियों, 12 से 15 पुलिसकर्मियों और 3 स्थानीय निवासियों (सभी ब्राह्मणों) के खिलाफ IPC की धारा 302 (हत्या), 307 (हत्या का प्रयास), 436, 429 और 34 के तहत FIR दर्ज की है।
राज्य मंत्री प्रतिभा शुक्ला ने इस दर्दनाक घटना के लिए डीएम नेहा जैन को सीधे-सीधे जिम्मेदार ठहराया है। उन्होंने और प्रमिला के बेटे शिवम दीक्षित ने कहा कि परिवार के लोगों ने जनवरी में डीएम से मिलने की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन उन्होंने उनकी दलीलें सुनने से इनकार कर दिया था और उल्टा अधिकारियों को उनके खिलाफ ही केस दर्ज करने को कह दिया। शिवम ने कहा, ‘यह बेदखली का मामला नहीं था, बल्कि पूरे परिवार की हत्या करने की एक सोची समझी साजिश थी।’
जिस दिन गांव में हाहाकार मचा हुआ था, उस दिन डीएम कानपुर महोत्सव में मंच पर झूमकर नाच रही थीं। राज्य मंत्री प्रतिभा शुक्ला ने डीएम को ‘असंवेदनशील’ कहा।
समाजवादी पार्टी और कांग्रेस समेत विपक्षी दलों ने कानपुर की घटना को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। समाजवादी पार्टी के नेताओं को पुलिस ने गांव जाने से रोक दिया। उन्होंने मौजूदा सरकार को ‘ब्राह्मण विरोधी’ करार देते हुए आरोप लगाया कि राज्य सरकार डीएम को बचाने की कोशिश कर रही है।
कांग्रेस नेता प्रियंका गांधी ने अपने ट्वीट में कहा, ‘बीजेपी सरकार के बुलडोजर पर लगा अमानवीयता का चश्मा इंसानियत व संवेदनशीलता के लिए खतरा बन चुका है। कानपुर की हृदयविदारक घटना की जितनी निंदा की जाए उतनी कम है। हम सबको इस अमानवीयता के खिलाफ आवाज उठानी होगी। कानपुर के पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय मिले एवं दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई हो।’
उनके भाई राहुल गांधी ने ट्वीट किया, ‘जब सत्ता का घमंड लोगों के जीने का अधिकार छीन ले, उसे तानाशाही कहते हैं। कानपुर की घटना से मन विचलित है। ये ‘बुलडोजर नीति’ इस सरकार की क्रूरता का चेहरा बन गई है। भारत को ये स्वीकार नहीं।’
एक परिवार की दो महिलाएं जिंदा जल गईं, लेकिन राजनीतिक दल लाशों की जाति देख रहे हैं> इससे ज्यादा दुखद बात और कोई नहीं हो सकती। यह निहायत ही घटिया दृष्टिकोण है।
हमें इस मामले की हकीकत को समझना होगा। पहली बात यह है कि जिस परिवार की झोपड़ी पर बुलडोजर चलाया गया, वह ब्राह्मण परिवार है। दूसरी बात यह है कि जिस शख्स पर पीड़ित परिवार हत्या का इल्जाम लगा रहा है, जिसकी शिकायत पर यह सब हुआ, वह भी ब्राह्मण है। ऐसे में इसे ब्राह्मणों पर जुल्म कैसे करार दिया जा सकता है? जब दोनों ब्राह्मण हैं तो जाति का सवाल कहां आता है? यह पूरी तरह से छोटे स्तर पर अफसरों की मिलीभगत, घूसखोरी, अमानवीय व्यवहार और सरकारी पद और उसकी ताकत के दुरुपयोग का मामला है।
एक शख्स ने शिकायत की, लेखपाल ने उसके साथ मिलकर एक परिवार की झोपड़ी पर बुलडोजर चलवाया, उसमें आग लगाई। इसमें स्थानीय पुलिस की भी मिलीभगत है, क्योंकि वह तमाशा देखती रही। इसमें SDM भी जिम्मेदार हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने सिर्फ कागजी कार्रवाई की और मौके पर मौजूद रहकर भी तमाशा देखते रहे।
इस मामले में डीएम भी निर्दोष नहीं हैं। एक महीने पहले पीड़ित परिवार डीएम के पास फरियाद लेकर गया था, लेकिन उन्होंने उसे अपने यहां से भगा दिया। इसके बाद लेखपाल ने इसी परिवार के खिलाफ केस दर्ज करवा दिया, परिवार को भूमाफिया बता दिया। जिस परिवार के पास छत नहीं थी, जायदाद के नाम पर 22 बकरियां थी, उसे भूमाफिया बता दिया गया। बड़े-बड़े अफसर खामोश रहे। जाहिर है, इससे लेखपाल की हिम्मत बढ़ी और वह हैवान बन गया। इसलिए एक्शन तो सबके खिलाफ होना चाहिए। मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि योगी आदित्यनाथ इस मामले में जल्दी से जल्दी और सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई जरूर करेंगे।
Kanpur deaths: Yogi must take strongest action against the guilty
The brutal incident in Madauli village under Metha tehsil of Kanpur Dehat in Uttar Pradesh, in which a mother and her daughter died on Monday during anti-eviction drive has caused outrage across the nation.
Video of both the victims rushing into their hut to prevent demolition, the hut suddenly erupting into flames and a bulldozer demolishing the burning hut has caused considerable anguish in the minds of people. All this happened in the presence of policemen, lady constables, tehsildar, Lekhpal and the SDM.
The hut belonged to Krishna Gopal Dikshit, who suffered serious burn injuries, while his wife Pramila (41 years) and daughter Neha (21 years) perished in the fire. The video clearly showed Pramila resisting the demolition squad and then rushing inside the hut with her daughter. Policemen forcibly broke the door of the hut which suddenly went into flames. Dikshit and his son Shivam managed to come out of the burning hut. While the two women were dying in flames, the bulldozer demolished whatever remained of the hut. The demolition was carried out on the basis of complaint filed by the Lekhpal, who said, it was built on village community land.
Nobody knows who set the hut on fire. In the video was heard the voice of an official directing the bulldozer driver to go ahead and demolish the hut. This hut was built only a month back in place of a concrete building that was earlier demolished by local officials. The family claims the house was built on ancestral land.
Eyewitnesses say, it was the Lekhpal who himself set the hut on fire, during the melee. Soon after the macabre incident, the SDM, Lekhpal and other officials ran away from the spot.
As the matter got out of hand, senior officials of UP government rushed to the village. Kanpur divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar, DM Neha Jain, Additional DGP Alok Kumar and other officials went to the village and tried to persuade the residents to allow cremation of the bodies. UP deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak spoke to Pramila’s son on phone and promised action against all offenders. The bodies were finally cremated on Wednesday morning.
According to Divisional Commissioner Raj Shekhar, the SDM of Metha tehsil Gyaneshwar Prasad has been suspended, while the bulldozer driver Deepak Kumar and Lekhpal Ashok Singh have been arrested. Police have filed FIR against the SDM, Lekhpal, Station Officer of Rura police station Dinesh Kumar Gautam, three other officials, 12 to 15 police personnel and three local residents (all Brahmins) under Sector 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 436, 429 and section 34 of IPC.
Minister of state Pratibha Shukla blamed the District Magistrate Neha Jain for this horrible incident. She and Pramila’s son Shivam Dikshit said, the family members tried to meet the DM in January, but she refused to listen to their pleas and instead directed officials to file cases against them. “It was not a matter of eviction, but a careful plot to murder the entire family”, Shivam said.
On the day the horrible incident occurred, the District Magistrate was gleefully dancing on stage at the Kanpur Mahotsav. Minister of state Pratibha Shukla described the DM as “insensitive”.
Opposition parties including Samajwadi Party and Congress staged protests against this incident. SP leaders were prevented by police from visiting the village. They described the present government as “anti-Brahmin” and alleged that the state government was trying to shield the DM.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in her tweet said, “BJP government’s bulldozer, with an inhuman vision, has become a threat to humanity and sensitivity. The heartrending incident in Kanpur deserves to be condemned. We must raise our voice against such inhuman action. We demand that the victim family in Kanpur must get justice and strong action must be taken against the guilty.”
Her brother Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “When the arrogance of power snatches away the right of life from people, it is known as dictatorship. I am deeply pained over the Kanpur incident. This ‘bulldozer policy” has become the cruel face of this government. India will never accept this.”
Two women in a family were burnt alive, but political parties are viewing this incident through the prism of caste. There can be nothing more unfortunate than this. This is a very narrow approach.
We must understand the realities. First, the hut which was demolished with a bulldozer belonged to a Brahmin family. Second, the person on which the charge of murder has been made is a Brahmin. How can this be treated as an atrocity on Brahmins? When both the offender and victim are Brahmins, where does the question of caste arise? This matter is clearly a case of misuse of official position and power at a lower level, that smacks of connivance and bribery.
A man files a complaint and the Lekhpal, in cahoots with him, demolishes the hut with a bulldozer. He sets the hut on fire. The local police also acted in connivance, and watched as silent spectator. The SDM is responsible because he only did the paperwork and watched the hut set on blaze.
Even the DM is not innocent. This family had met the DM a month ago with its plea, but she shooed them off. The Lekhpal filed a case against this family, alleging them as part of land mafia. A family, that had no roof on its head, and had only 22 goats, was being described as land mafia. Senior officials remained silent. Clearly, the Lekhpal gained confidence and turned into a devil. Action must be taken against all those who are responsible for this horrible incident. I have full hope that Yogi Adityanath will take the strongest action at the earliest.
अडानी: सुप्रीम कोर्ट की सलाह पर एक्सपर्ट पैनल का गठन एक स्वागत योग्य कदम है
सरकार ने सोमवार को अडानी ग्रुप के शेयरों की कीमतों में गिरावट के मद्देनजर शेयर बाजार के नियामक तंत्र को मजबूत करने के तरीके सुझाने के लिए विशेषज्ञों की एक समिति गठित करने के सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सुझाव को स्वीकार कर लिया।
केंद्र और सेबी की तरफ से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने कोर्ट कहा कि सरकार इस हफ्ते एक सीलबंद लिफाफे में विशेषज्ञों के नाम और उनके कार्यक्षेत्र के बारे में जानकारी देगी।
मेहता ने चीफ जस्टिस डी वाई चंद्रचूड़ की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ से कहा, ‘हम एक सीलबंद लिफाफे में समिति में शामिल किए जा सकने वाले कुछ विशेषज्ञों के नाम देंगे। कुछ नाम सुप्रीम कोर्ट को सही लग सकते हैं और कुछ नहीं। लेकिन याचिकाकर्ता इन नामों के बारे में न तो चर्चा करें और इनका विरोध करें । कोर्ट इस लिस्ट में से नामों को चुन सकती है।‘ उन्होंने कहा, इस तरह का कोई ‘गलत’ संदेश नहीं जाना चाहिए कि बाजार के नियामक हालात को संभालने में सक्षम नहीं है, क्योंकि इससे घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय निवेशकों से देश में आनेवाली पूंजी पर गलत असर पड़ सकता है।
इसके बाद अदालत ने ‘निवेशकों को नुकसान पहुंचाने’ और अडानी ग्रुप के शेयरों को ‘कृत्रिम तरीके से गिराने’ संबंधी दो जनहित याचिकाओं पर शुक्रवार (17 फरवरी) को सुनवाई करने का निर्देश दिया।
कांग्रेस ने तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दी। पार्टी महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने एक ट्वीट में कहा, ‘आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सॉलिसिटर जनरल ने कहा कि अडानी पर हिंडनबर्ग रिपोर्ट की जांच के लिए एक समिति बनाने पर सरकार को कोई आपत्ति नहीं है, तो फिर वह एक संयुक्त संसदीय समिति के गठन से क्यों भाग रही है, जिस पर वैसे भी बीजेपी और उसके सहयोगियों का ही वर्चस्व होगा? लेकिन क्या प्रस्तावित समिति हिंडनबर्ग या अडानी की जांच करेगी?’ कांग्रेस सांसद रंजीत रंजन ने कहा, अब यह साफ हो गया है कि सरकार संसद को बायपास करके सुप्रीम कोर्ट की निगरानी में जांच की बात कह रही है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘हम JPC की अपनी मांग पर कायम हैं।’
2,000 किलोमीटर से भी ज्यादा दूर केरल के वायनाड में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए एक बार फिर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा, ‘प्रधानमंत्री सोचते हैं कि वह बहुत ताकतवर हैं और लोग उनसे डर जाएंगे। उन्हें इस बात का एहसास नहीं है कि नरेंद्र मोदी वह आखिरी शख्स हैं, जिनसे मैं डरता हूं। एक दिन उन्हें अपनी हकीकत का सामना करना ही होगा।’
राहुल गांधी ने कहा, लोकसभा में उनके भाषण के कुछ हिस्सों को हटा दिया गया, जबकि उन्होंने किसी का अपमान नहीं किया था। उन्होंने कहा, ‘मुझसे कहा गया कि आपने संसद में जो कुछ कहा उसके सुबूत दें, तो मैंने स्पीकर को चिट्ठी लिखी है। मैंने जितनी भी बातें संसद में कही थीं, उनके समर्थन में सुबूत भी उनको भेजे हैं। लेकिन मुझे उम्मीद नहीं है कि मेरी कही बातों को रिकॉर्ड में रखने की इजाजत दी जाएगी। मगर, उसी संसद में प्रधानमंत्री ने सीधे तौर पर मेरा अपमान किया, लेकिन उनकी बात रिकॉर्ड से नहीं हटाई गई। उन्होंने कहा कि आपका नाम गांधी क्यों है, नेहरू क्यों नहीं। सत्य हमेशा सामने आ ही जाता है।… आपको बस करना ये है कि आप देखिए कि जब मैं बोल रहा था तब मेरा चेहरा कैसा था, और जब वह बोल रहे थे तो उनकी शक्ल कैसी थी। आप गौर कीजिए कि उन्होंने भाषण देते वक्त कितनी बार पानी पिया और उनके हाथ किस तरह कांप रहे थे।’
विपक्षी सदस्यों ने एक बार फिर मोदी और अडानी का नाम लेकर सोमवार को संसद में हंगामा जारी रखा। राज्यसभा में कांग्रेस के सांसदों ने मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे के भाषण के कुछ हिस्सों को हटाए जाने को फिर मुद्दा बनाया, जबकि लोकसभा में कांग्रेस ने राहुल गांधी को प्रिविलेज मोशन का नोटिस मिलने को लेकर शोर मचाया।
बीजेपी सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने विशेषाधिकार प्रस्ताव का नोटिस देते हुए आरोप लगाया कि न तो राहुल गांधी ने मोदी के खिलाफ अपने आरोपों को प्रमाणित किया और न ही उन्होंने पीएम के खिलाफ आरोप लगाने से पहले, जो कि तब सदन में मौजूद नहीं थे, स्पीकर की इजाजत ली। उन्होंने कहा, यह संसदीय कार्यवाही की नियमावली के नियम 353 के खिलाफ है।
राहुल गांधी से 15 फरवरी तक नोटिस का जवाब देने को कहा गया है। केंद्रीय संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी ने कहा कि चाहे जो भी हो, सत्ता पक्ष पीछे नहीं हटेगा, क्योंकि राहुल गांधी बार-बार बेबुनियाद आरोप लगाते रहे हैं।
विशेषाधिकार हनन विशुद्ध रूप से एक तकनीकी और संसदीय मुद्दा है। इस पर बहस भी होगी, विवाद भी होगा, और वक्त भी लगेगा। चूंकि संसद के बजट सत्र का अगला चरण अब 13 मार्च के बाद शुरू होगा, इसलिए फिलहाल न अडानी का नाम सुनाई देगा, और न ही हिंडनबर्ग के नाम पर हंगामा दिखाई देगा।
राहुल गांधी संसद के बाहर अपनी सारी की सारी पुरानी बातें ज़रूर दोहराएंगे। वह कहेंगे कि ‘मोदी डरते हैं और मैं किसी ने नहीं डरता।’ राहुल कह सकते हैं, ‘मोदी ने अडानी को सारे बड़े बड़े ठेके दे दिए’, लेकिन तथ्य यही है कि ऐसी बातें वह पिछले 8 साल से कह रहे हैं। अब मार्केट गिरने के बाद राहुल गांधी को उम्मीद थी कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट, अडानी के मामले की जांच के आदेश देगा। इससे सरकार को मुश्किलें झेलनी पड़ सकती थी। लेकिन उल्टा हो गया।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट को अडानी की चिंता नहीं है। उसे निवेशकों के पैसे की चिंता है। सरकार का दावा है कि उसका रेगुलेटरी मैकेनिज्म ठीक-ठाक है, निवेशकों को नुकसान नहीं होगा। इसके बावजूद जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूछा तो सरकार ने विशेषज्ञों की एक समिति बनाने का फैसला किया। मुझे लगता है कि ये समिति सरकार को बताएगी कि सिस्टम को मजबूत बनाने के लिए और क्या क्या किया जाए, लेकिन राहुल गांधी अपने इल्जाम दोहराते रहेंगे।
Adani: Centre’s experts panel on SC advice is a welcome step
The Centre on Monday accepted the suggestion of Supreme Court for setting up a committee of experts to suggest ways to strengthen the regulatory mechanisms for the stock market in the wake of recent crash in the prices of Adani group shares triggered by Hindenburg Research report.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre and SEBI, offered to provide names of domain experts and the scope of the mandate in a sealer cover to the court this week.
Mehta told a bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, “we will suggest names of the experts to be included in the committee in a sealed cover. Some names may appeal to the Supreme Court, and some may not. But these names should not be discussed and opposed by the petitioners. The court can choose from the list.” He said, no “unintentional” message should go out that the market regulator is not capable of handling the situation, as it can have adverse impact on the inflow of money.
The court then listed two PILs, relating to ‘exploitation of innocent investors’ and ‘artificial crashing’ of Adani group share value, for hearing on Friday (February 17).
The Congress immediately reacted. Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh in a tweet said, “Today in Supreme Court Solicitor General said, Govt has no objection to a committee to examine the Hindenburg report on Adani. Then why the stubborn refusal to a joint parliamentary committee, which will anyway be dominated by BJP and its allies? But will the proposed committee investigate Hindenburg or Adani?” Congress MP Ranjeet Ranjan said, it is now clear that the government is trying to bypass Parliament and accept a Supreme Court monitored prove. “We stand firm on our demand for JPC”, she said.
More than 2,000 kilometres away in Wayanad, Kerala, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a meeting, again hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “The Prime Minister thinks he is very powerful and people will get scared of him. He does not realize that the absolute last thing I am scared of is Narendra Modi. Because one day he will be forced to face his truth.”
Rahul Gandhi said, parts of his speech in Lok Sabha was expunged even though he did not insult anybody. “I was asked to show proof with regards to what I said, and I have written a letter to the Speaker with eery point that they have removed along with supporting proof…I do not expect my words will be allowed to go on record. The PM of the country directly insulted me but his words were not taken off the record. He said why is your surname Gandhi and not Nehru. …Truth always comes out. All you have to do was to look at my face when I was speaking and his face. Look how many times the PM drank water and how his hands were shaking while drinking water.”
In Parliament, there was uproar again with opposition members shouting slogans against Modi and Gautam Adani. In Rajya Sabha, Congress members raised the issue of expunging of several parts from the speech of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, while in Lok Sabha, the issue of privilege motion notice against Rahul Gandhi was raised.
BJP member Nishikant Dubey, while giving notice of privilege motion, alleged that neither Rahul Gandhi authenticated his allegations against Modi, nor did he speak the Speaker’s permission before levelling charges against the PM, who was then not present inside the House. This, he said, was in violated of Rule 353 under Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business.
Rahul Gandhi has been asked to reply to the notice by February 15. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, the ruling party will not back out come what may, because Rahul Gandhi had been levelling baseless allegations frequently.
Breach of privilege is a purely technical and parliamentary issue. There may be debates and it may take time. Since the next phase of Budget Session will now resume from March 13, the names of Adani and Hindenburg may not crop up frequently now.
Rahul Gandhi will continue to repeat his charges outside Parliament. He will say, ‘Modi fears me and I do not fear anybody’. Rahul may allege, ‘Modi gave away most of the contracts to Adani’, but the fact remains that he has been making such allegations for the last eight years. After the shares of Adani group companies crashed in stock market, Rahul expected that the Supreme Court could order a probe into Adani case and this would surely embarrass the government. But the reverse happened.
The Supreme Court is not worried about Adani group. It is worried about investors’ money. The government claims that its regulatory mechanisms are robust and investors may not ultimately face loss. Yet, on the apex court’s suggestion, the government agreed to set up a committee of experts. I think this committee will recommend ways and means to make our system more robust, but Rahul Gandhi may continue to repeat his charges.
यूपी को 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था बनाने का योगी का प्लान
लखनऊ में चल रहे यूपी ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट (वैश्विक निवेशक शिखर सम्मेलन) में राज्य सरकार को बड़े पैमाने पर निवेश के प्रस्ताव मिले हैं जो यूपी की जनता के लिए अच्छा संकेत है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने शिखर सम्मेलन में ऐलान किया कि उनकी सरकार पहले ही 32.92 लाख करोड़ रुपये के 18,643 एमओयू पर साइन कर चुकी है।
यूपी में निवेश की रकम कितनी बड़ी है इसका अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने संसद में भारत सरकार का जो बजट पेश किया है, वह 45 लाख करोड़ रुपये का है, जबकि उधारी के अलावा कुल प्राप्तियां 27.2 लाख करोड़ रुपए आंकी गई हैं।
योगी आदित्यनाथ को उम्मीद है कि अगर निवेश प्रस्ताव पर अमल किया जाए तो 92 लाख रोजगार के अवसर पैदा होंगे। रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन मुकेश अंबानी ने यूपी में अगले पांच साल में 75 हजार करोड़ रुपए निवेश करने का वादा किया। उन्होंने कहा, ‘जियो कम्युनिकेशन, रिटेल और रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी बिजनेस के जरिए उनकी कंपनियां 75 हजार करोड़ रुपयों का निवेश करेगी और करीब एक लाख से ज्यादा रोजगार का सृजन करेगी।’ अंबानी ने कहा, ‘यूपी का स्वर्णिम युग शुरू हो चुका है। जैसे भारत पूरी दुनिया के लिए आशा का केंद्र बनकर उभरा है ठीक उसी तरह यूपी भारत के लिए आशा का केंद्र बन गया है।’
आदित्य बिड़ला ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष कुमार मंगलम बिड़ला ने 25,000 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश का वादा किया। उन्होंने इस बात का जिक्र किया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने भाषण में कहा था, ‘यूपी प्लस योगी, बहुत हैं अब उपयोगी’। कुमार मंगलम बिड़ला ने कहा कि पिछले छह वर्षों में योगी के नेतृत्व और पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में उत्तर प्रदेश का कायापलट हुआ है। टाटा संस के चेयरमैन एन. चंद्रशेखरन ने कहा कि यूपी के हर हिस्से को शेष भारत से जोड़ने का एक बड़ा प्लान एयर इंडिया के पास है, यूपी के शहरों में दुनिया के महत्वपूर्ण स्थलों से जुड़ने की क्षमता है।
निवेशक सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश कभी बीमारू (बिहार, एमपी, राजस्थान, यूपी) राज्य हुआ करता था। बड़े पैमानों पर अपराध के चलते यह राज्य पिछड़ता जा रहा था। लेकिन पिछले कुछ वर्षों में कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति में सुधार हुआ है और राज्य विकास के इंजन के रूप में उभरा है। मोदी ने कहा, ‘भारत अगर आज दुनिया के लिए उज्ज्वल बिन्दु है तो उत्तर प्रदेश देश के विकास को गति देने वाला राज्य है।
मोदी ने कहा कि आज यूपी के पास हर वो क्वालिटी है जो इसे आर्थिक महाशक्ति बनाने की काबिलियत रखती है। उन्होंने कहा कि यूपी की आबादी कई बड़े देशों से ज्यादा है। यूपी के पास बड़ा मार्केट, मैन पावर, स्किल्ड लेबर है और उद्योगों की स्थापना के लिए सरकार की ओर से सहूलियतें भी दी जा रही हैं। वहीं यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने आने वाले वर्षों में राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को एक ट्रिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंचाने का संकल्प लिया।
जिस वक्त लखनऊ में निवेशक सम्मेलन चल रहा था उस वक्त पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव काशी में थे। अखिलेश यादव से जब इस संबंध में सवाल किया गया तो उन्होंने वही कहा जो कहते आए हैं। अखिलेश ने कहा कि इन्वेस्टमेंट (निवेश) लाना सीएम योगी के बस की बात नहीं हैं। उन्होंने योगी सरकार पर झूठे दावे करने का आरोप लगाया और कहा कि यूपी में अपराध बढ़ा है। इन्वेस्टमेंट सम्मिट सिर्फ दिखावे और प्रचार के लिए है। अखिलेश ने कहा कि योगी कंजूस हैं और वे उद्योगपतियों को कोई छूट नहीं देनेवाले हैं। जब उद्योगपतियों को इन्सेंटिंव (प्रोत्साहन) नहीं मिलेंगे तो वे निवेश भी नहीं करेंगे। एक कमरे में चलनेवाली कंपनियों के साथ कई एमओयू साइन किए गए हैं।
यूपी के उपमुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने अखिलेश यादव को जवाब दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि यूपी अब समाजवादी पार्टी की सरकार के दौरान होने वाली गुंडई और अराजकता से आगे बढ़ चुका है। कानून-व्यवस्था से लेकर इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और कनेक्टिविटी पर बहुत काम हुआ है। पाठक ने कहा कि अब ‘यूपी को विकसित होने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता।’
यूपी में यह चौथा ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स समिट है। इसमें करीब-करीब 32.92 लाख करोड़ के निवेश प्रस्ताव आए हैं। अगर 32.92 लाख करोड़ का निवेश यूपी में हो जाता है तो प्रदेश का कायाकल्प हो जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जिस संकल्प और दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति के साथ जुटे हैं और बड़े-बड़े उद्योगपति यूपी के बारे में जिस तरह की पॉजिटिव बातें कह रहे हैं, उससे उम्मीद तो जगती है कि यूपी निवेशकों के लिए फेवरेट डेस्टिनेशन (पसंदीदा स्थल ) जरूर बनेगा।
How Yogi plans to make UP a $1 trillion economy
The sheer scale of investment proposals received by the Uttar Pradesh government at the ongoing UP Global Investors Summit in Lucknow bodes well for the people of the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced at the summit that his government has already signed 18,643 memorandums of understanding worth Rs 32.92 lakh crore.
Compare this figure with the Union Budget placed in Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The total estimated expenditure in the Budget has been pegged at Rs 45 lakh crore, while total receipts other than borrowings have been estimated at Rs 27.2 lakh crore.
Yogi Adityanath was hopeful that the investment proposals, if they materialize, will generate jobs for nearly 92 lakh people in UP. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani pledged to invest Rs 75 thousand crore in UP over the next five years. He said, these investments in retail and renewable energy sectors, will generate over one lakh jobs. Ambani said, “the golden age (swarnim yug) of UP has begun. UP has become the centre of hope for India, just like India has emerged as the centre of hope for the entire world”.
Aditya Birla group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla pledged an investment of Rs 25,000 crore. He mentioned how Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in one of his speeches, “UP plus Yogi, bahut hain ab upyogi”. Uttar Pradesh, he said, has undergone a metamorphosis in the last six years under the leadership of Yogi and guidance of Narendra Modi. Tata Sons chairman N. Chandrasekaran said, Air India has a big plan to connect every part of UP with the rest of India, as it has the potential to connect with important destinations of the world.
Addressing the investors’ summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, Uttar Pradesh used to be one of the ‘Bimaru’ (Bihar MP, Rajasthan, UP), and it was lagging behind others because of rampant crimes, but in the past few years, law and order situation has improved and the state has emerged as an engine of growth. Modi said, “if India has emerged as a bright spot for the entire world, UP is providing energy and driving the nation’s growth.”
Modi said, UP has every attribute for emerging as an economic superpower, given its large population, a huge market, skilled manpower and incentives from the government for setting up industries. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath vowed to scale up the state’s economy to one trillion dollars in the coming years.
Several hundred kilometres away from Lucknow, in Varanasi, former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav described Yogi government’s claims as false. He alleged crime rate has increased, and the global investors’ summit was only a show to garner publicity. The SP supremo alleged that Yogi government was not going to give any fresh incentives to investors, and that several investment MOUs have been signed with “companies operating out of a single room. ”
Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak hit back and said, UP has already left behind the dark, anarchic age of mafia gangs and criminals, and much work has been done to build expressways, airports and other infrastructure. “Nobody can stop UP’s progress”, Pathak said.
This is the fourth Global Investors Summit in UP. If Yogi government manages to get Rs 32.92 lakh crore worth investments, it can transform the economy of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is known for his strong determination and political will. Already, positive notes have come from top industrial tycoons of India, and very soon, UP is going to emerge as one of the most favorite destinations for new industries.
अडानी को लेकर राहुल गांधी के आरोपों में कुछ भी नया नहीं है
लगातार चार दिनों तक चले हंगामे के बाद मंगलवार को संसद ने सामान्य रूप से काम करना शुरू कर दिया। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने अडानी मुद्दे पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर एक के बाद एक कई हमले किए। लोकसभा में राष्ट्रपति के धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव पर बोलते हुए राहुल गांधी ने मोदी सरकार पर उद्योगपति गौतम अडानी की मदद करने के लिए किसी भी हद तक जाने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने बांग्लादेश, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, श्रीलंका और इजरायल में कॉन्ट्रैक्ट हासिल करने में अडानी ग्रुप की मदद की।
राहुल गांधी ने अपने 51 मिनट के भाषण में करीब 45 मिनट अडानी पर बात की। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि अडानी को ठेके दिलाने में मदद करने के लिए CBI और ED का इस्तेमाल किया गया। बीजेपी ने राहुल के आरोपों को निराधार बताते हुए तुरंत खारिज कर दिया और उन्हें अपने आरोपों के पक्ष में सबूत पेश करने की चुनौती दी। कानून मंत्री किरन रिजिजू ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी को अपनी बातों को ऑथेंटिकेट करना चाहिए।
अपने भाषण के दौरान राहुल गांधी ने प्राइवेट प्लेन में बैठे मोदी और अडानी की तस्वीरें दिखाईं। उन्होंने पूछा कि 2014 में दुनिया के सबसे अमीर व्यक्तियों की फोर्ब्स की लिस्ट में 609वें नंबर पर रहने वाले गौतम अडानी 8 साल के भीतर दूसरे नंबर पर कैसे पहुंच गए। उन्होंने पूछा कि अडानी ग्रुप को ही पोर्ट्स, एयरपोर्ट्स, पावर ट्रांसमिशन, ग्रीन एनर्जी और गैस जैसे अधिकांश सेक्टर में ठेके क्यों मिले। बीजेपी नेता रविशंकर प्रसाद ने इसका जवाब देते हुए कहा कि जब UPA सत्ता में थी तब भी अडानी ग्रुप को तमाम प्रोजेक्ट दिए गए थे। उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे UPA शासन के दौरान अडानी ग्रुप का कारोबार 2 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 87,000 करोड़ रुपये हो गया था।
राहुल द्वारा उठाए गए ज्यादातर सवाल मैंने पिछले महीने अपने शो ‘आप की अदालत’ में गौतम अडानी के इंटरव्यू के दौरान पूछे थे। उस समय अडानी ने जवाब दिया था कि उनका कारोबार नब्बे के दशक से ही फलने-फूलने लगा था, जब पी. वी. नरसिम्हा राव के नेतृत्व वाली कांग्रेस सरकार ने इकॉनमी को खोल दिया था। अडानी ने तब कहा था कि वह राहुल के आरोपों को ‘सियासी बयानबाजी’ से ज्यादा नहीं मानते।
मंगलवार को, राहुल गांधी ने आरोप लगाया कि अडानी ग्रुप को भारत में 6 एयरपोर्ट्स का कामकाज देने के लिए नियम बदले गए, जबकि ग्रुप को एयरपोर्ट के मैनेजमेंट का कोई एक्सपीरियंस नहीं था। इस बारे में मैंने ‘आप की अदालत’ में अडानी से पूछा था। उन्होंने कहा था कि उनके ग्रुप को सभी कॉन्ट्रैक्ट बिडिंग प्रोसेस को पूरा करने के बाद ही मिले हैं।
यह ठीक है कि अडानी को शेयर मार्केट में भारी नुकसान हुआ है, लेकिन उनके प्रोजेक्ट्स, और उनके असेट्स आज भी इंटैक्ट हैं।
दूसरी बात यह कि राहुल का ये कहना गलत है कि अडानी को मोदी ने बनाया। जो लोग नरेंद्र मोदी को जानते हैं, मोदी के साथ काम करते हैं, वे आपको बता देंगे कि मोदी किसी को भी, चाहे वह कोई भी हो, इस तरह से सपोर्ट नहीं करते जैसे राहुल ने कहा। जहां तक राहुल द्वारा दिखाई गई उस तस्वीर की बात है जिसमें मोदी और अडानी साथ दिखाई दे रहे हैं, तो वह उस वक्त की है जब मोदी गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री थे और कई बार अडानी के विमान का इस्तेमाल करते थे। मजे की बात यह है कि जब राहुल ने फोटो दिखाई तो बीजेपी ने भी उनके बहनोई रॉबर्ड वॉड्रा और राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत के साथ अडानी की फोटो जारी कर दी।
मैं यह मानता हूं कि राजनीतिक बयानबाजी करना राहुल का हक है, लेकिन विदेशी नीति के मामलों में इस तरह से बोलने से बचना चाहिए। राहुल ने कह दिया कि मोदी, गौतम अडानी को विदेश ले जाते हैं और दूसरे देशों के ठेके भी अडानी को दिलवाते हैं। उन्होंने इजरायल, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और श्रीलंका का हवाला दिया। तथ्य यह है कि अडानी ने विदेशों में कारोबार 2014 के बाद शुरू नहीं किया है। अडानी ने 2008 में इंडोनेशिया में सबसे पहले कारोबार शुरू किया और फिर ऑस्ट्रेलिया में 2010 में पहली खदान, और 2011 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में पहला बंदरगाह लिया था। उस वक्त डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह देश के प्रधानमंत्री थे।
राहुल गांधी ने इल्जाम लगाया कि नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार के वक्त सरकारी बैंकों और सरकारी कंपनियो ने खुलकर अडानी की मदद की, और उन्हें दिल खोलकर कर्ज दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि SBI ने अडानी की कंपनियों में 27 हजार करोड़ रुपये और LIC ने 36 हजार करोड़ रुपये का निवेश कर रखा है। हिंडनबर्ग रिसर्च रिपोर्ट सामने आने के बाद, SBI और LIC दोनों ने साफ किया है कि अडानी ग्रुप में उनका निवेश उनके कुल निवेश के एक प्रतिशत से भी कम है। ‘आप की अदालत’ में मैंने अडानी से इस बारे में पूछा था। उन्होंने कहा था, उनके ग्रुप ने पहले ही भारतीय बैंकों पर अपनी निर्भरता कम करना शुरू कर दिया है।
राहुल गांधी के आरोपों में कुछ भी नया नहीं है। गौतम अडानी ने मेरे शो ‘आप की अदालत’ में लगभग सभी आरोपों का जवाब दिया है। राहुल के सवाल वही हैं, और अडानी के जवाब भी वही हैं। सरकार जानती थी कि राहुल क्या आरोप लगाएंगे इसलिए उनका भाषण खत्म होते ही मंत्रियों और बीजेपी के नेताओं की तरफ से हर मुद्दे पर पॉइंट-टू-पॉइंट जवाब आए।
राहुल के इस आरोप पर कि कोई एक्सपीरियंस न होने के बावजूद अडानी ग्रुप को 6 एयरपोर्ट दिए गए, सरकार ने जवाब दिया कि एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया ने एक्सपीरियंस से जुड़ी शर्तों को इसलिए हटा दिया था, क्योंकि अगर सिर्फ अनुभव के आधार पर बिडिंग कराई जाती तो कुछ कंपनियां कार्टेल बनाकर बोली लगाने के दौरान मनमानी कर सकती थीं।
पिछले महीने जब गौतम अडानी इंडिया टीवी के स्पेशल शो ‘आप की अदालत’ में आए थे तब मैंने भी उनसे यही सवाल पूछा था। अडानी ने कहा था कि भारत में कारोबार को लेकर होने वाले सियासी विवाद की जानकारी उनको भी है। उन्होंने कहा था कि यही वजह है कि उनके ग्रुप का यह क्लियर स्टैंड है कि उन्हीं कामों को अपने हाथ में लिया जाएगा, जो बिडिंग से हासिल किए गए हों।
Adani: Nothing new in Rahul Gandhi’s allegations
After four days of continuous uproar, Parliament on Tuesday started functioning normally with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launching a series of attacks at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Adani issue. Speaking on the Motion of Thanks to the President in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi accused Modi government of going out of its way to help industrialist Gautam Adani. He alleged that Prime Minister Modi helped Adani group in securing contracts in Bangladesh, Australia, Sri Lanka and Israel.
For nearly 45 minutes out of his 51-minute speech, Rahul Gandhi spoke on Adani. He alleged that CBI, ED were used to help Adani secure contracts. The BJP promptly rubbished Rahul’s allegations describing them as baseless and challenged him to substantiate his charges with proof. Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said, Rahul must authenticate each of the allegations that he was making.
During his speech, Rahul Gandhi displayed pictures of Modi and Adani sitting in a private plane. He questioned how Gautam Adani who was at the 609th number in the Forbes List of World’s Richest Persons in 2014 rose to second place within a span of eight years. He asked why Adani group got contracts in most of the sectors, like ports, airports, power transmission, green energy and gas. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad pointed out that several of the projects were given to Adani group when the UPA was in power. He pointed out how Adani group’s turnover rose from Rs 2 crore to Rs 87,000 crore during the UPA regime.
I had asked most of these questions that Rahul raised, in my interview last month with Gautam Adani in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show. At that time, Adani had replied that his business began to prosper since the Nineties when the Congress government under P V Narasimha Rao opened up the economy. Adani had then said that he does not consider Rahul’s allegations more than ‘political statements’.
On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi alleged that rules were changed to help Adani group secure six airports in India, even though the group had no previous experience in managing airports. In ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, I had questioned Adani about this. He had said that his group got all the contracts through proper bidding process.
Adani group may have faced turmoil in stock markets, but the fact remains that all his projects and assets remain intact.
Secondly, Rahul’s allegation that it was Modi who helped Adani is incorrect. People who know the style of working of Narendra Modi will tell you, Modi never goes out of his way to help any businessman, whosoever he may be. The picture displayed by Rahul Gandhi was when Modi was chief minister of Gujarat and he had used Adani’s plane several times. On its part, BJP also circulated pictures of Adani with Rahul’s brother-in-law businessman Robert Vadra, and also with Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot.
I agree Rahul Gandhi has the democratic right to make political statements, but in matters of foreign affairs, he must be careful with his choice of words. Rahul alleged that Modi took Adani with him in his plane when he visited foreign countries and helped his group in securing contracts. The fact is that Adani did not start his offshore business after 2014. He got his first foreign contract in 2008 in Indonesia, got his first mine in Australia in 2010, and a port in Australia in 2011. At that time Dr Manmohan Singh was the prime minister.
Rahul Gandhi has alleged that public sector banks and LIC helped Adani group by investing in his shares and gave him loans. He said, SBI gave Rs 27,000 crore loans to Adani group, while LIC invested Rs 36,000 crore. After the Hindenburg research report came to light, both SBI and LIC have clarified that their exposure in Adani group amounted to hardly less than one percent of their total investments. In ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, I had asked Adani about this. He said, his group has already started reducing its dependence on Indian banks.
There is nothing new in Rahul Gandhi’s allegations, and Gautam Adani has replied to almost all of them in my ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show. Rahul’s questions are the same and Adani’s replies are the same. The government knew what allegations Rahul would make, and the ministers and BJP leaders were ready with their point-to-point replies soon after Rahul’s speech was over.
On Rahul’s allegation that six airports were given to Adani group despite having no prior experience, the government replied that Airport Authority of India had removed the experience related condition, because there was assumption that some companies who had experience, could form a cartel and make arbitrary biddings.
I asked the same question in Aap Ki Adalat show last month, and Gautam Adani had replied that he knew there could be political dispute once the airport contracts were secured. That is why, he said, his group had clearly decided that all contracts will be secured only after going through the bidding process.
तुर्की में भयावह भूकंप : मोदी ने पीड़ितों के लिए भेजी मदद
तुर्की मंगलवार को 5.6 और 5.7 तीव्रता के भूकंप के झटकों से एक बार फिर हिल गया। इससे पहले सोमवार को तुर्की और सीरिया में 7.8 और 7.5 तीव्रता के 3 बड़े भूकंप आए थे।
दोनों देशों में अब तक 5,000 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। आपदा में जान गंवाने वालों की संख्या 10 हजार से भी ज्यादा होने की आशंका है क्योंकि बचावकर्मी अभी भी मलबे को हटाने में जुटे हुए हैं। भूकंप के बाद दर्जनों ऑफ्टरशॉक्स आ चुके हैं जिससे आपदा में जीवित बचे लोग और बचावकर्मियों में दहशत है। विनाश इतने बड़े पैमाने पर हुआ है कि बचावकर्मियों को मलबे में से लोगों को निकालने में दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
भूकंप के झटके तुर्की, सीरिया, लेबनान, साइप्रस और इजरायल तक में महसूस किए गए। पहला झटका सोमवार को स्थानीय समयानुसार सुबह करीब 4 बजे आया, जब ज्यादातर लोग सो रहे थे। अभी बचाव कार्य चल ही रहा था कि एक और बड़ा भूकंप आया, जिससे और ज्यादा तबाही हुई। दोनों ही बार 90 सेकेंड से भी ज्यादा समय तक धरती कांपती रही, जिससे न सिर्फ इमारतें बुरी तरह हिल गईं, बल्कि हाईवे और रनवे तक में बड़ी-बड़ी दरारें पड़ गईं।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल (NDRF) की 2 टीमों को तुर्की रवाना किया, जिसमें विशेष रूप से प्रशिक्षित डॉग स्क्वॉड और बचाव उपकरणों के साथ 100 कर्मचारी शामिल थे। प्रभावित इलाकों के लिए मेडिकल टीम भी भेजी गई है। मोदी ने ट्वीट किया, ‘तुर्की में आए भूकंप के कारण हुए जान-माल के नुकसान से दुखी हूं।’
मंगलवार की सुबह संसदीय दल की बैठक में बीजेपी के सांसदों को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी भावुक हो गए। उन्होंने 2011 में गुजरात के भुज में आए विनाशकारी भूकंप को याद किया जिसमें 20,000 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हुई थी और 1.5 लाख से ज्यादा लोग घायल हुए थे। इस भूकंप ने हजारों लोगों को बेघर कर दिया था। मोदी ने कहा, वह अच्छी तरह समझ सकते हैं कि तुर्की के लोग इस समय किन हालात से गुजर रहे होंगे।
सोमवार को आए भूकंप का केंद्र तुर्की के कहारनमारास शहर के पास था। तुर्की के राष्ट्रपति रेचेप तैयप अर्दोआन ने कहा कि देश में भूकंप से इतनी बड़ी तबाही 1939 के बाद कभी नहीं हुई। बचाव कार्य के लिए सेना, अर्धसैनिक बल, पुलिस और आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया विभाग की टीमों को तैनात किया गया है। 2 जबरदस्त भूकंपों और 40 आफ्टरशॉक्स से तुर्की के 8 प्रांत बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुए हैं। भूकंप से कई इमारतों और कमर्शियल कॉम्प्लेक्स के साथ-साथ सैकड़ों साल पुराना किला भी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया।
बुल्गारिया, रोमानिया, ग्रीस, क्रोएशिया, चेक रिपब्लिक, फ्रांस, हॉलैंड और पोलैंड समेत कई यूरोपीय देशों ने खोज एवं बचाव टीमें भेजी हैं। सीरिया में अलेप्पो, लातकिया और हमा शहरों में काफी तबाही हुई है।
तापमान में भारी गिरावट के कारण तुर्की के हैते में हजारों लोगों लोगों को स्पोर्ट्स सेंटर्स और मेले के इस्तेमाल होने वाले हॉल में रखा गया है। वहीं, तमाम लोगों ने आग के चारों तरफ कंबलों में दुबककर रात बिताई। राहत सामग्री की पहली खेप के साथ आज सुबह भारतीय वायु सेना की पहली C17 फ्लाइट तुर्की के अदाना पहुंची। विमान में NDRF के 50 खोज एवं बचाव कर्मी, विशेष रूप से प्रशिक्षित डॉग स्क्वॉड, ड्रिलिंग मशीन, राहत सामग्री, दवाएं और अन्य आवश्यक उपकरण थे।
भूकंप एक ऐसी प्राकृतिक आपदा है जिसके बारे में वैज्ञानिक आधार पर पहले से भविष्यवाणी कर पाना संभव नहीं है। लेकिन तुर्की के भूकंप को लेकर एक ट्विटर मैसेज अब सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है। इस मैसेज में एक डच एक्सपर्ट ने दावा किया है कि उसने 4 दिन पहले भूकंप की भविष्यवाणी कर दी थी। नीदरलैंड के एक रिसर्चर फ्रैंक हूगरबीट्स ने 3 फरवरी को ट्विटर पर भविष्यवाणी की थी कि तुर्की, जॉर्डन और सीरिया में 7.5 की तीव्रता का भूकंप आ सकता है। वैज्ञानिक उनकी भविष्यवाणी की जांच में लग गए हैं। फिलहाल, पूरी दुनिया का ध्यान तुर्की में आए विनाशकारी भूकंप से बचे लोगों तक तत्काल राहत और मदद पहुंचाने पर है।
