CONFUSION IN OPPOSITION OVER SEAT SHARING
The opposition parties seem to be in a state of confusion over seat sharing and fielding of candidates in key states like UP, Maharashtra and Bihar. On the last day of filing of nominations for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, there was confusion in two key constituencies of Uttar Pradesh – Rampur and Moradabad , with rumblings in Samajwadi Party coming to the fore. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav changed the candidates in both the constituencies at the last minute, replacing sitting MP S. T. Hasan with Ruchi Vira in Moradabad, and fielding Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi in place of Asim Raza. There are now two candidates each from Samajwadi Party in both constituencies, and voting will take place on April 19. The rank and file of Samajwadi Party is confused. Senior party leader Azam Khan is presently in Sitapur jail. At least two candidates will have to withdraw their nominations by March 30 to allow the official SP candidate to contest on party symbol. Nadvi is the Imam of Delhi’s Parliament Street Jama Masjid. Though he hails from Rampur, he has been based in Delhi for the last 15 years. Ruchi Vira has already submitted the party’s symbol authorisation to the returning officer. S T Hasan was probably replaced at the instance of Azam Khan. Akhilesh Yadav had recently met Azam Khan in jail, and the latter had opposed Hasan’s candidature. Akhilesh feels that Azam Khan, despite remaining in jail, can change the voting equations in both these constituencies. Rampur is Azam Khan’s home constituency. Azam Khan had suggested that Akhilesh should either contest himself from Rampur or field anybody from Yadav community. Instead, Akhilesh fielded Maulana Nadvi. On Wednesday, soon after the maulana filed his nomination, Asim Raza too filed his papers. Asim Raza is Azam Khan’s confidante. When Azam Khan vacated his Rampur seat in 2022, Asim Raza contested the byelection, but he lost to BJP’s Ghanshyam Lodhi by 42,000 votes. This time BJP has again fielded Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi, while BSP has fielded Zeeshan Khan. On March 30, the last date of withdrawal of nominations, the official SP candidate will be known. Rampur has been Azam Khan’s stronghold since 2002. He knows each locality like the back of his hand, but presently he is in jail, serving a two-year imprisonment. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath cut him to size in Rampur assembly and LS byelection, and for the first time, in 2022, Azam Khan’s candidates lost. Azam Khan is a born fighter. He has several hundred cases against him and he is not going to admit defeat easily. He can still influence politics in Rampur and Moradabad despite staying behind bars. His advice to Akhilesh to contest from Rampur was a good one, but the Samajwadi Party supremo is careful this time. The Lok Sabha general elections will be a testing time for Akhilesh and for the existence of his party. Akhilesh does listen to Azam Khan’s advice, but the confusion was created when he did not accept his advice to contest from Rampur. Already, Yogi Adityanath has started campaigning in western UP. He will be visiting 15 districts to meet party workers and social influencers. In Meerut, he welcomed Ramayana serial actor Arun Govil, who is contesting on BJP ticket. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Lok Sabha poll campaign from Meerut on March 30.
MAHARASHTRA
There was anger and consternation in the Congress camp in Maharashtra on Wednesday when Shiv Sena (UBT) declared its list of 17 candidates even before the seat sharing formula among Maha Vikas Aghadi allies was finalized. The anti-Modi alliance in Maharashtra has thus split wide open, with Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and Raju Shetty’s Swabhimani Shetkari Sangathana deciding to contest elections separately. The 17 seats included Sangli, from where Congress wanted to field Late Vasantdada Patil’s grandson Vishal Patil, Mumbai South Central, where Congress wanted to field Varsha Gaekwad, but Shiv Sena (UBT) announced Anil Desai’s name, and Mumbai North West coveted by Sanjay Nirupam of Congress, but Uddhav decided to field Amol Kirtikar. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, since Congress has already announced names of 10 candidates, there was nothing wrong in Shiv Sena doing the same thing. He said, Uddhav Thackeray has left Ramtek and Kolhapur seats for Congress, and the formula is now final. Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat said, this was against “coalition dharma” since no formula has been agreed upon and Uddhav should reconsider his decision. Sanjay Nirupam alleged that Uddhav Thackeray is trying to “finish off” the Congress and the voters of Mumbai “ will teach Uddhav a lesson this time” . NCP chief Sharad Pawar is unhappy with Uddhav announcing the names of his candidates. NCP workers shouted slogans on Wednesday even as Pawar was busy in a meeting with party leaders for poll preparations. One is amused to hear the Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders speaking in different voices. Uddhav Thackeray announced his candidates, his allies are stunned, but Sanjay Raut claims this was done with the approval of all. Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam expressed annoyance, but Shiv Sena leaders questioned, who is Sanjay Nirupam? While Congress described Uddhav’s announcement as a step taken in a hurry, Sanjay Raut said, his party was going to announce its candidate’s name for Mumbai North too. Sharad Pawar is worried because Uddhav’s party is not following ‘coalition dharma’, but Shiv Sena leader Anil Desai claims, the alliance parties respect each other’s views. The conclusion is crystal clear: leaders of the opposition alliance say one thing in public, and do something else privately.
BIHAR
The same is the situation with anti-Modi alliance in Bihar over seat-sharing. RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav has already started distributing tickets to his party candidates. RJD ‘s Bima Bharti said, Lalu Yadav has given her the party symbol to contest from Purnea, but Pappu Yadav, who recently joined Congress, said, he would rather commit suicide rather than contesting from any seat other than Purnea. Pappu Yadav has now left the ball in the court of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi. Purnea will go to the polls on April 25. Bima Bharti was an MLA in JD(U) and she joined RJD five days ago. Pappu Yadav has made the Purnea nomination a prestige issue, but RJD and Congress are also locked in conflict over some other seats too. Earlier, RJD wanted to leave six seats for Congress in Bihar, though the latter had demanded 15 seats, and later scaled down its demand to nine. On Tuesday, Tejashwi Yadav met Congress leaders and offered eight seats – Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah, Sasaram, Kishanganj, Katihar, Patna Sahib and Samastipur – to Congress, but the latter is also demanding Purnea, Aurangabad and Begusarai seats. The problem is: RJD has already given Begusarai seat to CPI, but Congress wants to field Kanhaiya Kumar, who lost from Begusarai in the 2019 elections while contesting on CPI ticket. Kanhaiya later joined the Congress. This time, CPI is not ready to leave the Begusarai seat for Kanhaiya Kumar. RJD has already given the party symbol to Abhay Kushwaha for Aurangabad seat, but Congress is unwilling to yield. The conflict between RJD and Congress over seats is going to continue.
महिला सम्मान का मुद्दा इस बार चुनाव पर हावी रहेगा
नारी का सम्मान, मां-बहनों का स्वाभिमान, लोकसभा के चुनाव में बड़ा मुद्दा बन गया है. बुधवार को चुनाव आयोग ने कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत और भाजपा नेता दिलीप घोष को क्रमश: कंगना रनौत और ममता बनर्जी के बारे में किए गये आपत्तिजनक कमेंट को लेकर कारण बताओ नोटिस भेजा. इधर, प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने संदेशखाली में शेख शाहजहां के जुल्मों की शिकार रेखा पात्रा से मंगलवार को बात की. रेखा पात्रा को बीजेपी ने बशीरहाट से टिकट दिया है. मोदी ने कहा कि रेखा पात्रा शक्ति स्वरूपा हैं. बीजेपी ने उन्हें चुनाव मैदान में उतार कर महिलाओं के सम्मान की रक्षा के प्रति वचनबद्धता साबित की है. मोदी ने कहा कि संदेशखाली का सच जब सामने आया तो देश को पता लगा कि पश्चिम बंगाल में मां बहनों के साथ कितना अत्याचार हुआ है. ‘आज की बात’ में सोमवार को ही मैने कहा था कि बशीरहाट से बीजेपी की उम्मीदवार रेखा पात्रा महिलाओं पर जुल्म के खिलाफ लड़ाई का प्रतीक बनेंगी, मां बहनों का सम्मान सिर्फ बंगाल में नहीं पूरे देश में बीजेपी का बड़ा मुद्दा होगा. मंगवार को प्रधानमंत्री ने रेखा पात्रा से फोन पर बात करके यही संदेश दिया. संदेशखाली में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता शेख शाहजहां के जुल्मों की रौंगटे खड़ी करने वाले किस्से तो पूरा देश जानता है लेकिन इस जुल्म के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली, शेख शाहजहां के खिलाफ सबसे पहले पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवाने की हिम्मत दिखाने वाली, सामान्य सी महिला रेखा पात्रा को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने उसी इलाके से, बसीरहाट लोकसभा सीट से बीजेपी का उम्मीदवार बना दिया. रेखा पात्रा कभी पंचायत का भी चुनाव नहीं लड़ी, घरेलू महिला हैं, गरीब हैं, पढ़ी-लिखी भी नहीं हैंस उनके पास चुनाव लड़ने के संसाधान नहीं हैं, लेकिन मोदी ने उन्हें लोकसभा चुनाव में उतारा है. इसलिए अब पूरी पार्टी रेखा पात्रा का चुनाव लड़ रही है. मोदी ने खुद रेखा पात्रा से बात की. मोदी ने पूछा कि टिकट मिलने के बाद उन्हें कोई परेशानी तो नहीं हो रही? क्या संदेशखाली में महिलाओं को हिम्मत मिली है? क्या वो मां बहनों के सम्मान के लिए लड़ने के लिए तैयार हैं? रेखा ने मोदी को बताया कि हालात तो इतने खराब हैं कि उन्होंने 2011 के बाद कभी किसी चुनाव में वोट ही नहीं डाला. ये सुनकर मोदी भी हैरान रह गए. उन्होंने कहा कि वो चुनाव आयोग से अपील करेंगे और उन्हें पूरा भरोसा है कि चुनाव आयोग इस पर गौर करेगा, इस तरह के इंतजाम करेगा कि पश्चिम बंगाल में लोग बिना किसी डर या पक्षपात के अपनी मर्जी से वोट डाल सकें. मोदी ने रेखा पात्रा को भरोसा दिलाया कि वो किसी बात की चिंता न करें, बंगाल की जनता उनके साथ हैं, मां-बहनों का आशीर्वाद उनके साथ हैं और पूरी पार्टी उनके साथ है. रेखा पात्रा ने मोदी से एक बड़ी बात कही. उन्होंने बताया कि संदेशखाली की महिलाएं डरी हुई हैं. बहुत सी महिलाएं हैं जो परिवार की सुरक्षा के डर से उनके पक्ष में खुलकर नहीं बोल रही हैं. या कुछ महिलाएं ऐसी भी हैं जो तृणमूल कांग्रेस के गुंडों के डर से उनके खिलाफ भी बोल रही हैं, लेकिन वो इस बात का बुरा नहीं मानती. रेखा पात्रा ने कहा कि जो महिलाएं आज उनका विरोध कर रही हैं, भविष्य में वो उनको भी इंसाफ दिलाने के लिए लड़ेंगी. रेखा पात्रा की ये बात सुनकर मैं हैरान हूं कि संदेशखाली में 2011 से लोगों को वोट देने की आजादी नहीं है, उनके वोट चोरी कर लिए जाते हैं, इस बात का दुख ज्यादा इसीलिए है क्योंकि ममता बनर्जी ने “मां मांटी और मानुष” की बात करके ही पश्चिम बंगाल से लेफ्ट की सत्ता को उखाड़ा था. लेकिन अब ममता के राज में मां बेटियो के खिलाफ जुल्मों की जो खबरें आई, जमीनों पर कब्जे की जो हकीकत सामने आई, उससे ये संदेश तो गया कि बंगाल में न मां सुरक्षित है, न माटी और न मानुष. संदेशखाली में ममता ने जिस तरह से शेख शाहजहां को आखिरी वक्त तक बचाने की पूरी कोशिश की, उससे बीजेपी को मौका मिला और बीजेपी ने संदेशखाली को बड़ा मुद्दा बना दिया. बंगाल के लोग शक्ति के उपासक हैं, मां काली के भक्त हैं, वे कुछ भी बर्दाश्त कर सकते हैं लेकिन मातृ शक्ति का अपमान सहन नहीं कर सकते. इसीलिए मोदी ने मां बहनों पर जुल्मों के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली रेखा पात्रा को टिकट देकर ममता बनर्जी के लिए मुश्किल बढ़ा दी है. रेखा पात्रा चुनाव तो बशीरहाट से लड़ रही हैं, लेकिन इसका असर पूरे बंगाल के साथ साथ देश की सियासत पर पड़ेगा. ममता बनर्जी को भी पता है कि माता बहनों के साथ ज्यादती पार्टी के लिए भारी पड़ सकती है. इसलिए तृणमूल कांग्रेस इस मसले पर काउंटर अटैक कर रही है. मंगलवार को दिलीप घोष ने एक गलती की और तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने इसे बड़ा मुद्दा बना दिया. दिलीप घोष ने ममता बनर्जी के लिए गैरजरूरी और अपमानजनक बात कह दी. दरअसल दिलीप घोष को बीजेपी ने बर्धमान-दुर्गापुर सीट से मैदान में उतारा है. कीर्ति आजाद तृणमूल कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार हैं. दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि कीर्ति आजाद बाहरी हैं. चूंकि तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने नारा दिया है ‘बंगाल अपनी बेटी चाहता है’, नारा ये होना चाहिए, ‘बंगाल अपना भतीजा चाहता है’. यहां तक तो ठीक था लेकिन इसके बाद दिलीप घोष ने ऐसी बात कह दी जिस पर विवाद हो गया. दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि ममता जब गोवा जाती हैं तो खुद को गोवा की बेटी कहती हैं, त्रिपुरा जाती हैं तो त्रिपुरा की बेटी कहती हैं, उन्हें ये तय करना चाहिए कि उनके पिता कौन हैं. दिलीप घोष ने जो कहा वो गलत है. ममता बनर्जी ही नहीं, किसी भी महिला या किसी भी व्यक्ति के बारे में इस तरह के कमेंट नहीं होने चाहिए. राजनीति में चुनाव के दौरान एक दूसरे पर हमले होते हैं लेकिन ये व्यक्तिगत हों, किसी के परिवार पर सवाल उठाए जाएं, ये ठीक नहीं हैं. दिलीप घोष पुराने, जमीन से जुड़े नेता हैं. इस वक्त बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष हैं, बंगाल में बीजेपी के अध्यक्ष रह चुके हैं. इसलिए जब इतना बड़ा नेता अमर्यादित बात कहता है तो चिंता होती है. हो सकता है दिलीप घोष अपने कमेंट के लिए मांफी मांग लें लेकिन ये गलती करके उन्होंने महिलाओं के सम्मान पर बुरी तरह घिर चुकी तृणमूल कांग्रेस को पलटवार का मौका दे दिया. अब कंगना के बारे में सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के कमेंट पर फंसी कांग्रेस भी अपने बचाव में दिलीप घोष के बयान का हवाला देगी. कंगना पर कमेंट सुप्रिया को महंगा पड़ेगा. वैसे भी सुप्रिया श्रीनेत हर रोज सबको नैतिकता का पाठ पढ़ाती हैं, टीवी डिबेट्स में मीडिया पर बरसती हैं, कभी कभी अपनी महिला होने की बात कहती हैं, लेकिन सुप्रिया एक व्यक्ति नहीं है, वह कांग्रेस के सोशल मीडिया सेल की प्रमुख हैं. इसीलिए इसकी आंच कांग्रेस नेतृत्व तक जाएगी. भाजपा नेता बांसुरी स्वराज और नवनीत राणा ने पूछा है कि प्रियंका गांधी वैसे तो महिलाओं के अपमान पर खूब बोलती हैं, ‘ल़ड़की हूं, लड़ सकती हूं’ का नारा देती हैं, पर कंगना के बारे में किए गए अभद्र कमेंट पर वो अभी तक खामोश हैं. राहुल गांधी भी मोहब्बत की दुकान चलाते हैं लेकिन किसी प्रोफेशनल महिला पर इस तरह की अभद्रता पर वो भी चुप हैं. कांग्रेस सिर्फ ये कह कर नहीं बच सकती कि किसी ने सुप्रिया के अकाउंट्स से ये पोस्ट कर दिया. जो नेता सोशल मीडिया सेल की इंचार्ज हैं, उनके हैंडल से बिना उनकी अनुमति के कोई और पोस्ट कैसे डाल सकता है? इसलिए जब ये बात निकली है तो दूर तलक जाएगी.
WOMEN’S ISSUE WILL DOMINATE LOK SABHA POLLS THIS TIME
The issue of dignity and self-respect of women is gradually becoming a big issue in the Lok Sabha general elections. On Wednesday, the Election Commission of India issued notices to Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh for their comments against actor Kangana Ranaut and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee respectively. Supriya Shrinate is in the line of fire because a derogatory comment about Kangana Ranaut, BJP candidate from Mandi, was posted on her social media account and later withdrawn. Shrinate later clarified that somebody who had access to her account posted the comment. Dilip Ghosh, BJP candidate from Bardhaman-Durgapur in West Bengal, made a crass remark about Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee by questioning her paternity. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday dialled Sandeshkhali survivor and BJP Basirhat candidate Rekha Patra and spoke to her about her ordeals. It was Rekha Patra who led the protests against alleged sexual harassment of women and incidents of landgrabbing by Trinamool leader Shahjahan Sheikh in Sandeshkhali resulting in a nationwide uproar. Modi, in his telephonic talk, described Rekha Patra as “Shakti Swaroopa” (an embodiment of Mother Goddess). She told the Prime Minister that neither she, nor any woman in Sandeshkhali have not cast their votes in any election since 2011 due to the reign of terror unleashed by Shahjahan Sheikh and his goons. Shahjahan Sheikh is presently in CBI custody. It was on Rekha Patra’s complaint that police was forced to arrest Shibaprasad Hazra, a local goon from Shahjahan’s gang. Rekha Patra had staged protests with other women of Sandeshkhali. She carried her girl child on her waist during protests. Rekha Patra has not even contested panchayat elections. A poor, semi-literate housewife, she has no resources to contest, but Modi decided to field her as the BJP candidate from Basirhat. The party machinery will now be campaigning for her in Basirhat. Modi asked Rekha Patra whether she was facing threats after getting the BJP ticket, and whether the women in Sandeshkhali have gained courage after she had been fielded in elections. Modi assured her that the party would request the Election Commission to make full arrangements for her security and provide protection to voters so that they can cast their votes fearlessly. Modi told Rekha Patra not to worry as the people of Bengal and his party stood by her and she has the blessings of the women of Bengal. Rekha Patra told the PM that women in Sandeshkhali are still living in a state of fear, and many of them are unwilling to speak out openly for fear of retribution from the goons. I am surprised to know that voters in Sandeshkhali have not exercised their franchise since 2011 because of fear and that their votes have been stolen. I feel sad, more so because it was Mamata Banerjee who had uprooted three decades of Left rule in Bengal by giving the slogan “Maa, Maati, Manush”. The Sandeshkhali episode of sexual molestation and land grabbing has conveyed the message that neither Maa (women) is secure in Bengal, nor Maati (land) or Manush (people) are secure under her rule. The manner in which Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee tried to shield Shahjahan Sheikh and his goons has given BJP a big handle to raise the issue of women’s security. The people of Bengal are devotees of Maa Kali. They can tolerate everything but will never tolerate the insult to Maatri Shakti (Women Power). By fielding Rekha Patra as the party candidate from Basirhat, Modi has created problems for Mamata Banerjee in the Lok Sabha elections. Rekha Patra may be contesting from Basirhat, but it will have a cascading effect on voters across Bengal. Mamata Banerjee knows that excesses committed against ‘mothers and sisters’ of Sandeshkhali can cost the party dearly in the elections. Trinamool Congress is badly in search of a strong handle for counter-attack, and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh committed a blunder on Tuesday. Ghosh is facing Trinamool candidate ex-cricketer Kirti Azad in Bardhaman-Durgapur. On Tuesday, he described Kirti Azad as an outsider and said, since TMC has given the slogan, ‘Bengal wants its daughter’, the reality is that ‘Bengal wants her nephew’. Soon after, he made a remark about Mamata Banerjee. He said, “Mamata describes herself as the daughter of Goa whenever she visits Goa, she describes herself as the daughter of Tripura, when she goes to Tripura, she should decide who is her father.” What Dilip Ghosh said about Mamata is unacceptable. Such a crude comment must not be made against any individual, whether it is Mamata or any man or woman. In politics, people do launch verbal attacks in the heat of the moment, but making personal attacks about anybody’s family, is unacceptable. Dilip Ghosh is an experienced, grassroots politician. He has been the national vice-president of BJP, was the state BJP chief, and he represented Medinipur in the last Lok Sabha. When such a leader makes a derogatory comment, one should be worried. Dilip Ghosh may apologize for his comment, but it has already given a handle to Trinamool Congress and Congress. Congress leaders are now using Dilip Ghosh’s remark to protect Supriya Shrinate’s alleged remark about Kangana Ranaut. Supriya is already facing the heat and she claims that the social media comment against Kangana was not approved by her. Supriya has been hitting out at media during TV debates, but she must remember she is heading the social media cell of Congress party. The heat from this controversy is surely going to affect the Congress leadership. BJP leaders Bansuri Swaraj and Navneet Rana have already raised the question why Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who frequently speaks about atrocities on women, is silent on this issue. They are also asking why Rahul Gandhi, who speaks about ‘mohabbat ki dukaan’ is silent when a professional actor has been insulted. Congress cannot save its skin by saying that somebody posted the comment on Supriya’s social media account. Since Supriya is in charge of party’s social media cell, nothing can be posted without her permission. There is a famous lyric: ‘Baat Nikalegi Toh Door Talak Jayegi’.

सोमवार को कांग्रेस के लिए एक और मुसीबत हो गई. कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के सोशल मीडिया हैंडल से एक्ट्रेस कंगना रनौत के खिलाफ अभद्र कमेंट किए गए. इसका ज़बरदस्त विरोध हुआ. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने भी सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के कमेंट पर नाराज़गी जाहिर की. असल में बीजेपी ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के मंडी लोकसभा सीट से कंगना को टिकट दिया है और सुप्रिया श्रीनेत के इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट से कंगना रनौत की एक तस्वीर के साथ कुछ भद्दी बातें लिखी गईं. हालांकि जैसे ही इस पर विवाद हुआ तो सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने ये पोस्ट हटा लिया, लेकिन उससे पहले ही सुप्रिया निशाने पर आ गईं. कंगना रनौत ने ट्वीट करके सुप्रिया श्रीनेत को जवाब दिया. कंगना ने लिखा कि ” एक कलाकार के नाते पिछले 20 साल में मैंने हर तरह की महिला के किरदार निभाए हैं…फिल्म क्वीन में नादान लड़की से लेकर धाकड़ मूवी में seductive spy बनी थी, फिल्म मणिकर्णिका में देवी बनी तो चंद्रमुखी में एक demon के तौर पर नजर आई…हर महिला सम्मान की हकदार है…उसकी गरिमा का ख्याल रखना चाहिए. ” इसके बाद सुप्रिया श्रीनेत सामने आईं और कहा कि ये पोस्ट उन्होंने नहीं डाली थी, उनके सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट कई लोग हैंडल करते हैं, उनमें से किसी एक ने ये काम किया है. वो कभी किसी महिला के सम्मान पर हमला नहीं कर सकती. सुप्रिया श्रीनेत अब सफाई दे रही हैं लेकिन इससे बात नहीं बनेगी क्योंकि उनके सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट से कंगना रनौत के बारे में जिस तरह का कमेंट किया गया उसे किसी भी तरह से जस्टिफाई नहीं किया जा सकता. ये गलत था और सुप्रिया श्रीनेत की ये गलती कांग्रेस को भारी पड़ सकती है. हालांकि ये सही है कि कंगना और विवाद अक्सर साथ साथ चलते हैं. अभी सियासत में उनकी एंट्री हुई है. मंडी सीट पर जो समीकरण है, उन्हें देखकर लगता है कि मोदी के नाम पर कंगना जीत तो जाएंगी पर उसके बाद भी विवाद खड़े होते रहेंगे । क्योंकि वो बोलने में कभी पीछे नहीं रहती.

KANGANA CONTROVERSY MAY COST THE CONGRESS HEAVILY
An unseemly controversy has arisen over a derogatory comment made by Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate against actor Kanagana Ranaut, who has been fielded by BJP as its candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The National Commission for Women has written to the Election Commission to take stringent action and file a police case against Shrinate over the “dirty language” allegedly used by her, which amounts to character assassination. “A woman can wear whatever she wants”, said NCW chief Rekha Sharma. BJP has demanded dismissal of Shrinate as Congress spokesperson. On her part, Shrinate wrote on social media that “somebody who had access to my Facebook and Insta accounts posted a disgusting and objectionable post. As soon as I came to know about this, I removed that post. Anyone who knows me well, understands that I never make personal remarks about any woman”. In reply, Kangana wrote on social media that in the last 20 years of her career, she had played all kinds of roles as a woman..”From a naive girl in Queen to a seductive spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivii. We must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudices, we must rise above the curiousity about their body parts and we must refrain from using sex workers’ challenging lives or circumstances as some kind of abuse of slur..every woman deserves her dignity.” The comment posted against Kangana on Supriya Shrinate’s social media account cannot be justified by any means. This was highly improper. Supriya Shrinate’s mistake can cost the Congress heavily. It is true that Kangana and controversy more often go together, and she has made her entry into politics now. Looking at the political equations in Mandi constituency, Kangana may win in the name of Prime Minister Modi, but controversies may continue in future, because she never refrains from speaking out on issues.
क्या केजरीवाल जेल से मुख्यमंत्री का काम कर पाएंगे ?
शराब घोटाले के केस में कोर्ट ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल को 6 दिन के लिए एन्फोर्समेंट डाय़रेक्ट्रेट के रिमांड में भेज दिया. केजरीवाल अब 28 मार्च तक ED की कस्टडी में रहेंगे. केजरीवाल की तरफ से कई वकीलों ने दलीलें रखीं, केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी का आधार पूछा, केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी को चुनावी सियासत का नतीजा बताया लेकिन शुक्रवार को पहली बार ED ने कोर्ट को बताया कि शराब घोटाले के मास्टर माइंड अरविन्द केजरीवाल हैं. अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने ही शराब व्यापारियों को फायदा पहुंचाने वाली liquor पॉलिसी बनाई. इस पॉलिसी से करीब 600 करोड़ का मुनाफा कमाया गया. इसमें से 100 करोड़ रूपए किकबैक के तौर पर आम आदमी पार्टी को मिले. इसमें से पैंतालीस करोड़ रूपए गोवा के चुनाव में खर्च हुए. इसके सबूत ED के पास हैं.ED ने शराब घोटाले की सारी कड़ियां जोड़कर अदालत के सामने रख दीं. चन्द्रशेखर राव की बेटी के. कविता के बयान का हवाला दिया. इस केस में के. कविता को पहले ही गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है और शुक्रवार को ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कविता की जमानत की अर्जी ये कह कर खारिज दी कि उन्हें ट्रायल कोर्ट में अपील करनी चाहिए. कोर्ट में ED ने कहा कि शराब घोटाले की साजिश बहुत सावधानी और चालाकी से रची गई, जिन मोबाइल फोन्स का बातचीत या मैसेजिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया, उन फोन्स को नष्ट कर दिया गया लेकिन कुछ आरोपियों के फोन से मैसेज मिले हैं जिनसे पता चलता है कि शराब घोटाले के 45 करोड़ रूपए गोवा चुनाव में हवाला के जरिए भेजा गया. जिन उम्मीदवारों को पैसा पहुंचाया गया, वो भी बयान देने को तैयार हैं. ED ने कोर्ट को बताया कि इस मामले में केजरीवाल के अलावा के. कविता,विनय नायर, समीर महेन्द्रू, दिनेश अरोड़ा का क्या क्या रोल था. अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने इस केस को चुनावी राजनीति से जोड़कर केजरीवाल की रिमांड का विरोध किया लेकिन कोर्ट ने दस्तावेज देखने के बाद केजरीवाल को 6 दिन के लिए ED की कस्टडी में भेज दिया.. अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने केजरीवाल के वकील के तौर पर आज कोर्ट में जो दलीलें रखीं, वो कारगर साबित नहीं हुई. ED ने दस्तावेज और जो सबूत अदालत को दिखाए, वो सिंघवी की दलीलों पर भारी पड़ी. ED ने कोर्ट में जो खुलासे किए वो हैरान करने वाले हैं. केजरीवाल मुख्यमंत्री हैं, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने पास कोई मंत्रालय नहीं रखा, किसी फाइल पर उनके साइन नहीं हैं. इसलिए ED के लिए इस मामले में सबूत इकट्ठे करना, कडिय़ों को जोड़ना बहुत मुश्किल था.अब ED को केजरीवाल की कस्टडी मिल गई है लेकिन अब ED के सामने अदालत में अपने आरोपों को साबित करना बड़ी चुनौती होगी .और जब तक ये साबित नहीं हो जाता तब तक केजरीवाल की पार्टी के नेता शराब घोटाले को बीजेपी की सियासी साजिश बताएंगे. पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं ने जमकर प्रदर्शन किया. मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान और उनकी कैबिनेट के तमाम मंत्री दिल्ली पहुंच गए. चंडीगढ़, मोहाली, पटियाला, लुधियाना और संगरूर में केजरीवाल के समर्थन में प्रदर्शन हुए. आम आदमी पार्टी केजरीवाल ने बनाई. अब तक केजरीवाल ने ही चलाई और तीन-तीन बार केजरीवाल ने ही दिल्ली के चुनाव में पार्टी को जीत दिलाई य इसीलिए आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता और नेता ये सोच भी नहीं सकते कि केजरीवाल की अनुपस्थिति में पार्टी कैसे चलेगी, दिल्ली की सरकार कैसे चलेगी. हालांकि सार्वजनिक तौर पर अब तक आम आदमी पार्टी का स्टैंड यही रहा है कि केजरीवाल को अगर जेल जाना पड़ा तो भी वो मुख्यमंत्री पद नहीं छोड़ेंगे, ना ही पार्टी के संयोजक पद से इस्तीफा देंगे. वो जेल से ही पार्टी और सरकार दोनों चलाएंगे लेकिन ये व्यावहारिक रूप से सम्भव नहीं है. हाईकोर्ट में एक PIL फाइल की गई है जिसमें गिरफ्तारी के बाद केजरीवाल को तुरंत पद से हटाने की अपील की गई . पहले भी केजरीवाल ने मनीष सिसोदिया और सत्येन्द्र जैन से उनके जेल जाने के बाद बहुत दिनों तक इस्तीफा नहीं लिया था लेकिन जब मंत्रालयों के काम रूकने लगे तो इस्तीफा लेना पड़ा, सौरभ भारद्वाज और आतिशी को मंत्री बनाना पड़ा. वैसे भी दिल्ली की सरकार चलाना टेढ़ी खीर है. यहां पर लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर मौजूद हैं. केंद्र सरकार के प्रतिनिधि के तौर पर LG के पास बहुत सारी powers हैं. तो जो सरकार जेल से बाहर रहकर चलाना मुश्किल है उसे केजरीवाल जेल से कैसे चला पाएंगे,ये बड़ा सवाल है. मेरी जानकारी ये है कि अगर जेल जाने के बाद भी केजरीवाल ने दो दिन तक इस्तीफा नहीं दिया तो LG उनसे इस्तीफा देने के लिए कहेंगे और हो सकता है ये एक बड़ी कानूनी लड़ाई छिड़ जाए.
CAN KEJRIWAL CONTINUE AS CM FROM JAIL?
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent on six days’ ED remand by a special court in Delhi on Friday after marathon hearing on the remand application.Kejriwal will now remain in ED custody till March 28. His lawyers, led by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi questioned his arrest and alleged that it was the result of election-related politics. Additional Solicitor General S V Raju, appearing for ED, described Kejriwal as the kingpin and mastermind the the Delhi liquor excise scam. He alleged that nearly Rs 600 crores were earned from privatizing Delhi liquor trade, out of which Rs 100 crore was given as kickback to Aam Aadmi Party. Out of this, Rs 45 crore kickback was used by AAP in Goa assembly elections. ED claimed that it had evidence of kickbacks being given and quoted K. Kavitha’s statement. K. Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, and she is presently in custody. The Delhi court was told by ED counsel that all cellphones used for passing on messages for transferring kickback money were destroyed when the scam came to notice. ED’s revelations in court are surprising and Abhishek Manu Singhvi’s arguments did not prove effective. Kejriwal is the chief minister, but he did not keep any departments with him, nor did he sign any of the crucial files. For ED, collecting evidences and joining the dots was a humungous task. Now that Kejriwal is in ED custody, it will be a a big challenge for ED to prove its allegations. Till the time the allegations are not proved, opposition parties including AAP will continue to allege that the arrest was part of a political conspiracy. In AAP-ruled Punjab, there were protests by AAP workers in Chandigarh, Mohali, Patiala, Ludhiana and Sangrur, while CM Bhagwant Mann came to Delhi with all his ministers. It is a fact that Kejriwal founded the Aam Aadmi Party, the party was being run by him, and it was Kejriwal who leaded the party to electoral wins in Delhi thrice. This is why the commong workers and leaders of AAP can never think how the party and government will be run in the absence of Kejriwal. Though publicly, AAP has taken the stand that Kejriwal will continue to remain as CM and AAP convenor even though he may be sent to jail, but this does not sounds practically possible. Already, a PIL has been filed in Delhi High Court seeking removal of Kejriwal from the post of CM after his arrest. When Manish Sisodia and Sayender Jain went to jail, Kejriwal did not take their resignations, but when daily file work of their departments faced obstacles, he had to take their resignations and make Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj as cministers. Running Delhi government is a complicated job, because of the presence of Lt. Governor, who acts as the Centre’s representative. The L-G has vast powers. How can Kejriwal run the government from jail? This is the big question. My information is that if Kejriwal does not resign after going to jail for two days, the L-G may ask him to resign, and this could trigger another legal battle.
इनकम टैक्स विवाद की असलियत : कांग्रेस को दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट से मिला झटका
दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने शुक्रवार को कांग्रेस पार्टी की उन अर्ज़ियों को खारिज कर दिया जिनमें tax reassessment proceedings को चुनौती दी गयी थी. जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा और पुरुषेंद्र कुमार कौरव की बेंच ने रिट याचिकाओं को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि tax reassessment का कार्यवाही पूरी होने से कुछ ही दिन पहले इस तरह की याचिकाएं फाइल करने का कोई औचित्य नजर नहीं आता. कांग्रेस पार्टी ने 2014-15, 2015-16 और 20116-17 के लिए चल रही tax reassessment proceedings के खिलाफ याचिकाएं दायर की थी. हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि आयकर विभाग ने कांग्रेस पार्टी के खिलाफ काफी, ठोस सबूत एकट्ठे किये हैं जिनके आधार पर पार्टी की आय की फिर से जांच करने की ज़रूरत है. मेघा इंजीनियरिंग ग्रुप से तलाशी के समय मिले कागजात इस बात के संकेत देते हैं कि कांग्रेस को पैसे ट्रांसफर किये गये लेकिन इसे खाते में नहीं दिखाया गया. हाई कोर्ट ने ये भी कहा कि 2019 के लोक सभा चुनाव और 2018 और 2013 के मध्य प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव के बारे में भी unaccounted transactions का पता चला है और Assessing Officer ने जो satisfaction note दिया है उसमें उम्मीदवारों को दिये गये रुपये की हस्ताक्षरित रसीदें भी हैं. इस नोट में सांसदों, विधायकों और उम्मीदवारों को किये गये भुगतान का ब्यौरा है. इस नोट में ये भी लिखा गया है कि कांग्रर्स को सरकारी विभागों और निगमों ने, शराब निर्माताओं ने, कई औद्योगिक कंपनियों और व्यक्तियों ने पैसे दिये हैं. आपको याद होगा, कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, सोनिया गांधी और राहुल गांधी ने गुरुवार को एक साझा प्रैस कॉन्फ्रैस की थी जिसमें उन्होने एक साथ प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी पर हमला बोला था, लोकतन्त्र को खत्म करने का इल्जाम लगाया था. राहुल गांधी ने तो यहां तक कहा था कि देश में विरोधी दलों को परेशान किया जा रहा है, चुनाव लड़ने से रोका जा रहा है, कांग्रेस पार्टी के बैंक अकाउंट फ्रीज किए जा रहे हैं और अदालतें, चुनाव आयोग और मीडिया खामोश है, कोई कुछ नहीं बोलता. राहुल ने कहा कि देश में लोकतन्त्र खत्म हो गया है, लोकतन्त्र के नाम पर मजाक हो रहा है. इस पूरे मामले में टैक्स को समझना जरूरी है. पहली बात तो ये कि कांग्रेस का एक भी बैंक अकाउंट फ्रीज नहीं हुआ. देश भर में कांग्रेस पार्टी के 100 से ज्यादा अकाउंट हैं जिनमें अलग अलग जगह करोड़ों रुपये जमा हैं. इनमें से दिल्ली के पांच बैंकों के 11 अकाउंट्स से इनकम टैक्स ने अपने बकाया पैसे की रिकवरी की है. इन 11 अकाउंट्स को भी फ्रीज नहीं किया गया. इनकम टैक्स के नियमों के मुताबिक, राजनीतिक दलों को छूट मिलती है, लेकिन उसके लिए चार शर्तें हैं. अगर इनका पालन नहीं हुआ तो कोई टैक्स छूट नहीं मिलती। इसमें एक शर्त है कि निर्धारित तिथि तक रिटर्न फाइल करना जरूरी होता है, 2018 में पहले सितंबर 2018 तक रिटर्न फाइल की तारीख थी. इसके बाद इस समय को बढ़ाकर इनकम टैक्स बोर्ड ने 31 दिसंबर 2018 कर दिया गया, तो भी कांग्रेस ने रिटर्न फाइल नहीं किया. जब फाइल किया तब तक समय सीमा निकल चुकी थी और वो तारीख थी फरवरी 2019. दूसरी शर्त ये पालन करना होता है कि राजनीतिक पार्टी किसी एक सोर्स से 2000 रुपये से ज्यादा कैश नहीं ले सकती लेकिन कांग्रेस के अकाउंट्स में 14 लाख कैश जमा किया और उसे दिखाया. इसलिए exemption की जो शर्त थी, उसका उल्लंघन हुआ और ये सारा पैसा टैक्सेबल हो गया. तो भी अगर इसका 20 परसेंट जमा करा दिया होता तो और बाकी के लिए केस फाइल कर दिया गया होता, तो भी इनकम टैक्स के लिए अकाउंट्स से पैसा जब्त करने की नौबत ना आती. दूसरी बात ये कि सूत्रों का कहना है कि जब कमलनाथ के यहां और मेघा इंजीनियरिंग के यहां इनकम टैक्स की रेड पड़ी तो उसके कई लिंक कांग्रेस पार्टी के अकाउंट्स के साथ मिले. इसीलिए दोबारा असेसमेंट करने का ऑर्डर दिया गया. इनकम टैक्स के जानकारों का कहना है जब ये असेसमेंट आएगा तो कांग्रेस के लिए इनकम टैक्स का अमाउंट बहुत बड़ा हो सकता है. तीसरी बात 31 साल पहले के टैक्स को लेकर है..इसको लेकर जानकारी ये मिली कि इस पैसे पर टैक्स देने में कांग्रेस पार्टी के अकाउंट्स डिपार्टमेंट ने कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया और ये टैक्स सूद के साथ बढ़ते बढ़ते 53 करोड़ रुपये हो गया. इसके लिए भी नोटिस भेजा गया है. इसलिए ये कहना गलत है कि सरकार कांग्रेस को चुनाव लड़ने से रोकना चाहती है.
केजरीवाल गिरफ्तार : इसका क्या राजनीतिक असर होगा ?
दिल्ली शराब घोटाले में मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के बाद आम आदमी पार्टी के नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं ने शुक्रवार को दिल्ली, हरियाणा , पंजाब और दूसरे राज्यों में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया. प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) की टीम गुरुवार की शाम को एक तलाशी वारंट लेकर केजरीवाल के सरकारी निवास पर पहुंची, करीब दो घंटे तक उनसे पूछताछ की और उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर अपने दफ्तर ले गई. शुक्रवार को उन्हें दिल्ली के स्पेशल कोर्ट में रिमांड के लिए पेश किया गया. स्पेशल जज कावेरी बवेजा की अदालत में एजिशनल सॉलीसीटर जनरल एस. वी. राजू ने आरोप लगाया कि केजरीवाल 600 करोड़ रुपये के शराब घोटाले के मुख्य सूत्रधार हैं और दूसरे आरोपियों से आमना-सामना करवाने के लिए उनको हिरासत में रखना जरूरी है. राजू ने ये भी आरोप लगाया कि 45 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत चार बार हवाला के रास्ते गोवा विधानसभा चुनाव में आम आदमी पार्टी तक पहुंचाया गया. उन्होने दावा किया कि call detail records के जरिए गवाहों के तमाम बयानात की पुष्टि हुई है. राजू ने ये भी कहा कि पंजाब में चुनाव लड़ने के लिए शराब कारोबारियों से 100 करोड़ रुपये मांगे गए. केजरीवाल की और से वरिष्ठ वकील अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने कोर्ट में कहा कि न्यायाधीश को इसे महज़ रिमांड आवेदन के रूप में नहीं लेना चाहिए, बल्कि सूक्ष्म न्यायिक दिमाग लगाना चाहिए क्योंकि इससे लोकतंत्र के व्यापक हित जुड़े हुए हैं. केजरीवाल पर गिरफ्तारी की तलवार तो पिछले 5 महीने से लटकी हुई है लेकिन इस पूरे मामले की पृषभूमि पर फिर से गौर करना का ये मौका है. केजरीवाल और उनके साथी पहले दिन से यही कह रहे हैं कि शराब आबकारी नीति के मामले में कोई घोटाला हुआ ही नहीं. वो कहते रहे कि मनीष सिसोदिया कट्टर ईमानदार हैं, उन्हें इसीलिए पकड़ा गया कि वो दिल्ली के बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दे रहे थे. फिर संजय सिंह कहने लगे कि हिम्मत है तो मुझे गिरफ्तार करके दिखाओ, सिर्फ आरोप लगाते हो, गिरफ्तार क्यों नहीं करते. ये दोनों कई महीनों से जेल में हैं. जमानत के लिए हाईकोर्ट से सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक गए पर राहत नहीं मिली लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी यही कहती रही कि देखो एक रुपया भी कहीं से रिकवर नहीं हुआ, केसेज़ झूठे हैं. ED के लोगों का कहना है कि मनी ट्रेल तक पहुंचने के लिए उन्हें 100 जगह रेड करनी पड़ी, पैसा इतनी चतुराई से इधर उधर किया गया था कि उसके तार जोड़ना ब़डा मुश्किल काम था. आखिरकार ये लिंक के.सी.आर. की बेटी के. कविता से जुड़े. आंच केजरीवाल तक कैसे पहुंची, इसके बारे में अभी तक कोई पक्की जानकारी नहीं मिली है लेकिन केजरीवाल ने ED के 9 समन को ठुकरा दिया, हाईकोर्ट में ED के नोटिस को चुनौती दी, कोर्ट में भी केजरीवाल की तरफ से यही कहा गया कि ये एक राजनीतिक बदले की कार्रवाई है और उन्हें चुनाव में कैंपेन करने से रोकने के लिए, गिरफ्तार किया जा रहा है. आज भी उनका यही तर्क है. परंपरागत राजनीति से चलने वाले लोग ये कह सकते हैं कि चुनाव के पहले किसी मुख्यमंत्री को गिरफ्तार करना उल्टा पड़ सकता है, बूमरैंग कर सकता है, लेकिन मोदी सरकार का टैंपरामेंट देखा जाए तो अब तक का अनुभव यही है कि इस सरकार ने कभी राजनीतिक असर की परवाह नहीं की, चुनावों की परवाह नहीं की. सियासी नफा-नुकसान की परवाह नहीं की . जो केस जब बना, जहां बना, जैसा बना, उसमें एक्शन के लिए एजेंसीज को पूरी छूट दी गई.
आतिशी सिंह कह रही है कि केजरीवाल का गिरफ्तारी हो गई है….हालांकि अभी इसकी कोई ञऑफिशियल जानकारी नहीं आई है…लेकिन आतिशी सिंह जिस तरह से बात कर रही हैं उससे ऐसा लगता है कि उनके पास इस बात की जानकारी है कि केजरीवाल को ED ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है….इससे पहले हमारी संवाददाता गोनिका अरोड़ा ने बताया कि करीब सात बजे के आसपास जब ED की टीम केजरीवाल के घर पहुंची उसी वक्त अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने केजरीवाल की तरफ से सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील फाइल की…लेकिन अभी तक इसकी मेंशनिंग नहीं हुई हैं…इसलिए इस पर सुनवाई की संभावना बहुत कम है…यानि केजरीवाल को रात में सुप्रीम कोर्ट से रात में कोई राहत मिलेगी…इसकी उम्मीद कम हैं….इससे पहले अतुल भाटिया ने बताया कि शराब धोटाले के जो इन्वेस्टिंगेंटिसग ऑफीसर है…वो केजरीवाल के जबावों से संतुष्ठ नहीं होते…तो हो सकता है कि केजरीवाल को रात में ही ED के हैडक्वार्टर ले जाया जाए…उसके बाद गिरफ्तारी हो….लेकिन अगर जरूरत समझा गई तो केजरीवाल को उनके घऱ में भी गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है….ED के पास दोनों ऑप्शन हैं….अतुल बाटिया ने बताया कि शराब घोटाले के केस में पहले ही गिरफ्तार हो चुकी के कविता से पूछातछ के आधार पर जो जानकारी सामने आई हैं….उसके आधार पर केजरीवाल से सवाल जबाव हो रहे हैं….अतुल का कहना है कि जिस तरह के इंतजाम चीफ मिनिस्टर हाउस के आसपास की गई हैं…दफा 144 लगा दी गई है…उससे लगता है कि केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी तय हैं…हालंकि अभी इसके बारे में कोई ऑफिशियल जानकारी नहीं आई है….
इस वक्त की बहुत बड़ी खबर है कि शराब घोटाले के केस में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवा को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है…शराब घोटाले के केस में ये 16वी गिरफ्तारी है…इससे पहले मनीष सिसोदिया और संजय सिंह पहले ही जेल में है….अब दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल भी अरेस्ट हो गए हैं…अतुल बाटिया ने बताया कि अब से थोड़ी देर के बाद अरविन्द केजरीवाल को लेकर ED की टीम चीफ मिनिस्टर हाउस से ED हैडक्वार्टर ले जाएगी….केजरीवाल को कल अदालत में पेश किया जाएगा…
अरविंद केजरीवाल के सपोर्ट में कांग्रेस की नेता प्रियंका गांधी सामने आई हैं। उन्होंने केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी पर कहा है..कि चुनाव के चलते दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री को इस तरह टारगेट करना एकदम गलत और असंवैधानिक है। प्रियंका गांधी का कहना है कि चुनाव से पहले केजरीवाल को टारगेट किया गया है।

आम तौर पर किसी भी विधानसबा के स्पीकर इस तरह के मामलों में नहीं पड़ते….प्रोटोकॉल के तहत स्पीकर चीफ मिनिस्टर के घर नहीं जाते…लेकिन आज जैसे ही ED की टीम केजरीवाल के घर पहुंची…इसके आधे घंटे के बाद दिल्ली विधानसभा के स्पीकर रामनिवास गोयल मुख्यमंत्री आवास पहुंच गए….रामनिवास गोयल ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी का हर कार्यकर्ता अरविंद केजरीवाल के साथ है…और वो भी केजरीवाल के समर्थन के लिए पहुंचे हैं…रामनिवास गोयल ने कहा कि ये और कुछ नहीं है…चुनाव से पहले अरविंद केजरीवाल की आवाज को दबाने की कोशिश हो रही है…
दिल्ली सरकार में मंत्री इमरान हुसैन भी कह रहे हैं कि केजरीवाल दिल्ली के बेटे हैं. दिल्ली की जनता ने उन्हें आशीर्वाद दिया है. इसलिए केजरीवाल ही मुख्यमंत्री रहेंगे..वही पार्टी भी चलाएंगे.

कांग्रेस की तरह केजरीवाल की पार्टी भी यही इल्जाम लगी रही है कि मोदी सरकार किसी भी तरह केडजरीवाल को लोकसभा चुनाव से दूर करना चाहती है….ED के जरिए केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार कराना चाहती है…आज अरविन्द केजरीवाल की तरफ से यही दलील हाईकोर्ट में दी गई….लेकिन कोई राहत नहीं मिली….लेकिन हाईकोर्ट ने केजरीवाल को किसी तरह की राहत नहीं दी….असल में आज भी शराब घोटाले के केस में आज भी केजरीवाल को ED के सामने पेश होना था….उन्हें नौवां समन मिला था…लेकिन ED के सामने जाने के बजाए…केजरीवाल हाईकोर्ट पहुंच गए….केजरीवाल की तरफ से पेश हुए अभिषेक मनु सिंगी ने कहा कि ED के समन सियासी हैं…..ED केजरीवाल से कुछ नहीं पूछना चाहती…ED का असली मकसद केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार करना है…..सिंघवी ने अदालत से कहा कि केजरीवाल ED के सवालों का जबाव देने को तैयार हैं….वो ED के सामने पेश भी होने के लिए राजी हैं…लेकिन ED से भरोसा दे कि उन्हें गिरफ्तार नहीं किया जाएगा….कोर्ट कम से कम लोकसभा इलैक्शन तक केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी पर रोक लगाए….हालांकि ED ने कोर्ट से साफ साफ कहा कि शराब घोटाले में केजरीवाल का नाम है….उनसे व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर पूछताछ जरूरी है….ED ने शराब घोटाले से जुडे सारे दस्तावेज कोर्ट के सामने रखे….और ये भी कह दिया कि अभी केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार करने का कोई मकसद नहीं है…लेकिन कल क्या परिस्थिति बनेगी…ये अभी से कैसे कहा जा सकता है…. अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने कहा कि कम से कम लोकसभा चुनाव तक केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी नहीं होनी चाहिए…उन्हें ऐसी प्रोटेक्शन मिलनी चाहिए…इस पर ईडी की तरफ से पेश हुए एडिशनल सॉलिसिटर जनरल एस वी राजू ने कहा कि कानून सबके लिए बराबर है…केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तारी से प्रोटेक्शन नहीं मिलनी चाहिए…कोर्ट ने दोनों पक्षों को सुनने के बाद केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया…और कहा कि 22 अप्रैल को इस मामले में फिर से सुनवाई होगी…
कोर्ट का फैसला आने के बाद ईडी की तरफ से पेश हुए एडिशनल सॉलिसिटर जनरल एस वी राजू सामने आए…तो उन्होंने साफ-साफ कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल ने जिन पुराने ऑर्डर्स का हवाला देकर गिरफ्तारी से प्रोटेक्शन मांगा…वो यहां पर लागू नहीं हो सकता था…इसलिए कोर्ट ने केजरीवाल को कोई रिलीफ नहीं दी…
दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट से भले ही अरविंद केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तारी पर किसी तरह की प्रोटेक्शन नहीं मिली…लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी ने इस फैसले को अपने तरीके से define किया…इसे अरविंद केजरीवाल की बड़ी जीत बताया….केजरीवाल सरकार में मंत्री आतिशी सिंह ने कहा कि ईडी ने बहुत कोशिश की कि अरविंद केजरीवाल की पिटीशन रिजेक्ट हो जाए…लेकिन कोर्ट ने उनकी पिटीशन को खारिज नहीं किया…22 अप्रैल को फिर से इस मामले में सुनवाई होगी….रही बात गिरफ्तारी से प्रोटेक्शन की…सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाने की…तो सभी लीगल ऑप्शंस देख रहे हैं..
केजरीवाल की पार्टी के लीडर्स इस पूरे मामले में बार-बार बीजेपी पर निशाना साध रहे हैं…ईडी के समन को बीजेपी की साजिश बता रहे हैं…इसीलिए आज कोर्ट का फैसला आते ही दिल्ली बीजेपी के अध्यक्ष वीरेंद्र सचदेवा सामने आए…और कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल ने तमाम बहाने बनाए…ईडी के समन को गैरकानूनी बताया…लेकिन वो कब तक भागेंगे…आज उन्हें समझ आ गया कि कानून सबके लिए एक जैसा है….
KEJRIWAL ARREST : WHAT WOULD BE THE POLITICAL IMPACT ?
Weeks before the general elections, the arrest of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal by Enforcement Directorate in the liquor excise policy scam, has caused political reverberations across the country, with opposition bloc constituents denouncing the arrest as an “assault on democracy”. Aam Aadmi Party workers and leaders staged protests in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and other states, even as Kejriwal was produced in a Delhi court for remand. The Additional Solicitor General S V Raju told the court of Special Judge Kaveri Baweja that Kejriwal was a “key conspirator” in the excise policy-linked money laundering case. The ED counsel alleged that Kejriwal received several crores of rupees as kickbacks from the “South group” for tinkering with the Delhi excise policy, causing several thousand crores worth benefit to liquor companies. The law officer also said that already the money trail showed that Rs 45 crore “kickback” received through four hawala routes, was used in Goa assembly polls and this has been corroborated through call detail records and statements of several accused and witnesses. Senior Supreme Court advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Kejriwal, implored the Special Judge not to look at the remand application as a routine exercise, but apply significant judicial mind, since larger issues of democracy are involved. Kejriwal is the first sitting chief minister in India to be arrested on corruption charge. On Thursday evening, after Kejriwal failed to get relief from Delhi High Court, an ED team led by its joint director went to the chief minister’s official residence, carrying a search warrant and questioned him for two hours before putting him under arrest. Already, two top leaders of AAP Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are in jail for their alleged involvement in this liquor scam. ED has also arrested former Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter K. Kavitha for her alleged involvement in favouring liquor manufacturers in order to siphon off bribe money. Phones and electronic gadgets were seized by the ED team from Kejriwal’s residence. The sword of arrest was hanging over Kejriwal’s head for the last five months, after he evaded nine summons. Let us recall the background of this entire case. Kejriwal and his associates have been claiming from Day One that there has been no scam in the liquor excise case. Kejriwal described his excise minister Manish Sisodia as “kattar imandaar” (extremely honest) and that Sisodia was arrested because he was providing better quality education to children in Delhi government schools. Afterwards, AAP MP Sanjay Singh challenged ED to arrest him. The fact is both these leaders are in jail for the last several months. Both of them went from lower courts to High Court and Supreme Court, but could not get bail. Aam Aadmi Party continued to claim that not even a single rupee was recovered from any of the accused and that the money laundering case was baseless. ED officials said, they had to conduct raids at nearly 100 places in order to reach the money trail. They claimed that the kickback cash was transferred in a hush-hush manner, and it was a difficult process to join the dots. Finally, the links of this scam reached KCR’s daughter K. Kavitha. Kejriwal ignored ED’s summons nine times, challenged ED notice in Delhi High Court. In courts, his lawyers alleged that this was part of a political vendetta and he was being arrested only to prevent him from campaigning in the crucial general elections. Those who follow the traditional paths of Indian politics say, arresting a sitting chief minister before the elections could boomerang, but looking at the temperament of Modi government, the experience till now has been that his government never cared for any political impact, not even before or during elections. Modi’s government never bothered about political profit or loss. Investigation agencies were always given a free hand, no matter what the political timing was.

उत्तर प्रदेश के बदांयू में दिल दहलाने वाली वारदात हुई. जिसने भी सुना, उसके रोंगटे खड़े हो गए. साजिद और जावेद नाम के दो भाइयों ने उस परिवार के दो मासूम बच्चों की गला काट कर हत्या कर दी. जिस परिवार ने साजिद और जावेद पर तरस खाकर उनकी मदद की थी, उनके बच्चों की निर्ममता से हत्या हुई. जिन बच्चों की हत्या हुई उनका परिवार हिन्दू है और हत्यारे मुसलमान हैं. इसलिए इस जघन्य हत्याकांड के कारण बदांयू में साम्प्रदायिक तनाव पैदा हो गया. लोगों ने उस हेयर कटिंग सैलून को तोड़ दिया, उसमें आग लगा दी जो साजिद और जावेद चलाते थे. कुछ ही घंटों के बाद जब ये पता लगा कि पुलिस ने एनकाउंटर में साजिद को ढेर कर दिया है, तो भीड़ शान्त हुई. लेकिन अभी भी ये बड़ा सवाल है कि जब कोई दुश्मनी नहीं थी, कोई रंजिश नहीं थी, तो फिर साजिद और जावेद ने दो छोटे छोटे बेकसूर बच्चों का गला क्यों काटा? जिस मां ने साजिद की मदद के लिए उसे पांच हजार रूपए दिए, रूपए लेने के बाद साजिद ने उसकी गोद क्यों उजाड़ी? जो बच्चा पानी पिलाने साजिद के पास गया, उसके गले पर साजिद ने चाकू क्यों चलाया? साजिद और जावेद की प्लानिंग तो पूरे परिवार को खत्म करने की थी. वो तीसरे बच्चे, घर में मौजूद उसकी मां और दादी को भी खत्म करना चाहता था. घटना के कुछ ही घंटे बाद साजिद एनकाउंटर में मारा गया. गुरुवार की सुबह जावेद ने बरेली में पुलिस के सामने सरेंडर कर दिया. पुलिस ने साजिद के पिता और चाचा को हिरासत में लिया है. जांच में पता लगा कि साजिद ने मदद मांगने के लिए जो कहानी गढ़ी वो भी झूठ थी. सबके मन में एक ही सवाल है – सगीता के बच्चों का क्या कसूर था? उन्हें क्यों मार डाला? संगीता के पति विनोद ठेकेदारी का काम करते हैं. घऱ की पहली मंजिल पर संगीता अपना ब्यूटी पार्लर चलाती हैं. घर से कुछ ही दूरी पर साजिद और जावेद का हेयर कटिंग सैलून है. इसलिए परिवार से उनकी जान पहचान थी. बच्चे भी साजिद और जावेद को जानते थे. संगीता ने बताया कि शाम करीब साढ़े छह बजे साज़िद ने घर का दरवाजा खटखटाया. उसके साथ जावेद भी था. साजिद ने संगीता से कहा कि उसकी बीवी प्रेगनेंट है, हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती है, और उसके पास पैसे नहीं है. संगीता ने अपने पति को फोन किया और पति के कहने पर साजिद को पांच हजार रूपए दे दिए. लेकिन साजिद रूपए लेकर गया नहीं. उसने कहा कि डॉक्टर ने रात 11 बजे बुलाया है, वह थोड़ी देर रूकना चाहता है. उसने संगीता का ब्यूटी पार्लर देखने की इच्छा जताई. संगीता ने उसे घर के अंदर आने दिया. साजिद पहली मंजिल पर बने ब्यूटीपार्लर की तरफ गया. उसने संगीता के 13 साल के बेटे आयुष को अपने पास बुला लिया. पीछे पीछे उसका छोटा बेटा 6 साल का अहान भी चला गया. संगीता चाय बनाने लगी. जब उसने अपने तीसरे बेटे 9 साल के पीयूष को पानी के साथ भेजा तो पीयूष चिल्लाते हुए नीचे भागा. उसने देखा कि साजिद ने उसके दो भाइयों का गला काट दिया था. कमरे में चारों तरफ खून बिखरा था. साजिद ने पीयूष पर भी चाकू से हमला किया लेकिन चाकू पीयूष के हाथ में लगा था. पीयूष नीचे आया, उसने कमरे का दरवाजा बंद कर लिया. साजिद भी चिल्लाते हुए नीचे आया. वो कह रहा था, जिस काम के लिये वो आया था, उसने अपना मकसद पूरा कर लिया है. शोर मचा तो साजिद और जावेद मोटरसाइकिल पर फरार हो गए. पुलिस की टीम ने साजिद और जावेद का पीछा किया. पुलिस का दावा है कि एक गांव वाले ने खबर दी कि चार पांच किलोमीटर दूर शेखुपुर चौकी के पास जंगली इलाके में कोई खून से सने कपड़े छुपाने की कोशिश कर रहा है, पुलिस ने उस इलाके को घेर लिया. पुलिस को देखकर साजिद ने भागने की कोशिश की, पीछा कर रही पुलिस टीम पर फायर किया, एक कॉन्स्टेबल घायल हुआ. उसके बाद पुलिस ने जवाबी फायर किया जिसमें साजिद मारा गया. साजिद की लाश के पास पुलिस ने देसी तमंचा और कारतूस के खोखे बरामद किए हैं. इस दिल दहलाने वाली घटना के बाद फिलहाल बदांयू में हालात काबू में हैं लेकिन जब लोगों को इस वारदात का पता लगा तो बड़ी संख्या में लोग सड़क पर उतरे. सबसे पहले लोगों ने साजिद और जावेद के सैलून में तोड़फोड़ की और फिर आग लगा दी. इसके अलावा आसपास के इलाके में भी तोड़फोड़ और आगज़नी की गई. बाद में बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस की तैनाती कर हालात पर काबू पा लिया गया. लोगों को समझा-बुझा कर शान्त किया गया. इसके बाद इस घटना पर सियासत शुरू हो गई. समाजवादी पार्टी की मीडिया सेल ने दो बच्चों की हत्या को चुनावी राजनीति से जोड़ दिया. कह दिया कि जब भी चुनाव आते हैं तो साम्प्रदायिक ध्रुवीकरण करवाने के लिए बीजेपी इस तरह की वारदातें करवाती है. पार्टी के महासचिव रामगोपाल यादव ने कहा कि जांच से पहले, कत्ल की हकीकत सामने आने से पहले ही पुलिस ने एनकाउंटर कर दिया, ये ठीक नहीं है. क्योंकि अब तो असलियत कभी पता ही नही लगेगी. अखिलेश यादव ने भी विशुद्ध राजनीतिक बयान दिया. मुद्दा बदायूं का था और अखिलेश य़ादव प्रतापगढ़, जौनपुर की बातें करने लगे, उनके कहने का मतलब ये था कि यूपी पुलिस ने फर्जी एनकाउंटर किया है. अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि अगर यूपी पुलिस पहले सक्रिय रहती, तो शायद दो बच्चों की हत्या ही न होती. कांग्रेस नेता प्रमोद तिवारी ने कहा कि डबल इंजन की सरकार के दौरान अपराध सबसे ज्यादा हो रहे हैं लेकिन बीजेपी सरकार अरपराधों पर काबू पाने की बजाय सियासी फायदे उठाने की कोशिश करती है. बीजेपी नेता सिद्धार्थनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि बदायूं में जो हुआ, उसके बाद हर संवेदनशील इंसान को मारे गए बच्चों के परिवार के प्रति सहानुभूति दिखानी चाहिए लेकिन समाजवादी पार्टी सहानुभूति दिखाने की बजाए सियासत कर रही है. ये बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है. जिस तरह से साजिद और जावेद ने दो मासूम बच्चों की बेरहमी से हत्या की उसे तो खुदा भी माफ नहीं करेगा. अब चूंकि जावेद पकड़ा जा चुका है, इस हत्या की असली वजह का पता चसल पाएगा. ये बात अचरज में डालने वाली है कि साजिद और जावेद इन मासूम बच्चों के परिवार को जानते थे, इन बच्चों के मां-बाप ने साजिद और जावेद की मदद की थी, फिर भी उन्होंने ऐसी बर्बरता की. ये मामला आपस में जान पहचान वालों का है, हत्यारों की कोई आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि नहीं है, दुनिया की कोई भी पुलिस ऐसे केस में पहले से क्या कर सकती थी? ऐसे में अखिलेश यादव का ये कहना कि अगर पुलिस एक्टिव होती तो दो मासूम बच्चों की जान बचाई जा सकती थी, एक सियासी बयान नहीं तो और क्या है ? दूसरी बात, ऐसे बेरहम अपराधी के पुलिस की गोली से मारे जाने को फर्जी एनकाउंटर बताना भी सियासी बयान है. कोई भी इंसान बच्चों के परिवार की तरफ देखेगा, उनके माता-पिता की तरफ देखेगा, लेकिन हत्यारों से किसी की हमदर्दी कैसे हो सकती है? ऐसे मामले में कोई राजनीति करे, तो ये दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है.
DO NOT POLITICIZE THE GRUESOME DOUBLE MURDER OF KIDS IN UP
The horrific double murder of two kids by Sajid and Javed, two Muslim brothers in the city of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh has caused anguish and consternation in the minds of people. More so, because the mother of the two kids was trying to give Rs 5,000 to both the killers before the sordid act was committed. Since the victims were Hindus and the killers were Muslims, there was communal tension in Badaun. Local residents set fire to the hair cutting saloon run by the killers. A few hours later, on Tuesday night, Badaun police killed one of the killers, Sajid, in an encounter, while Javed fled. He later surrendered in Bareilly on Thursday morning. The motive behind the horrendous killings is still unclear. There was no past enmity between the two families. The third kid was also attacked, but he locked himself inside a room and saved himself. The father of the kids, Vinod, is a local contractor, while the mother, Sangeeta, runs a beauty parlour in the building. The two families knew each other and on Tuesday, Sajid came to Sangeeta and said that he needed money because his wife was pregnant. Sangeeta gave him Rs 5,000 cash. Sajid went to the first floor to see the beauty parlour. He called 13-year-old Ayush and his six-year-old brother Ahan to the first floor, while Sangeeta made tea for him in the kitchen. The third kid, nine-year-old kid Piyush took a glass of water to Sajid, but ran back when he saw that Sajid had slashed the necks of both his brothers with a knife. Sajid came downstairs shouting that he had fulfilled his objective, and he fled on a motorbike with Javed. Later, police, while searching the two killers, got information from a villager near Sheikhupur, 5 km away, that the two brothers were trying to hide the blood-stained clothes inside a bush. Sajid fired at the police injuring a constable, but in the encounter, Sajid was killed. Police force has been deployed in view of communal tension. A flurry of statements were made by Samajwadi Party and BJP over this incident. Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav questioned why police killed Sajid even before the probe had begun. Akhilesh Yadav said, the double murder could have been avoided had police been pro-active. Congress leader Pramod Tiwari alleged that crime incidents were on the rise during BJP’s ‘double-engine rule’. BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh alleged that Samajwadi Party was trying to politicize the horrific murders instead of showing sympathy to the bereaved family. The brutal murder of the two innocent kids is unpardonable. Now that Javed has been arrested, police may try to unravel the actual motive behind these killings. The most surprising part is that both Sajid and Javed knew the family of the kids, and their parents had helped the two Muslim brothers in the past. And yet, this barbaric murder? The killers had no criminal background. No police in the world can take preventive action when two families knew each other closely. For Akhilesh Yadav to say that the lives of the two kids could have been saved, is nothing but a political statement. Secondly, to describe the killing of Sajid in police encounter as a fake one, is nothing but an attempt to score political brownie points. How can any person or politician have sympathy for the killers? To politicize this gruesome double murder is unfortunate.
