झारखंड में ज़ब्त कैश : कांग्रेस को जवाब देना पड़ेगा
झारखंड से हैरान करने वाली तस्वीरें आईं. झारखंड सरकार में कांग्रेस के मंत्री आलमगीर के पर्सनल सेक्रेट्री के नौकर के घर से 30 करोड़ रु. से ज्यादा का कैश बरामद हुआ. पांच पांच सौ के नोटों की गड्डियां बैग्स में भरी हुई थी. कमरे में नोटों का पहाड़ बन गया. नोट गिनने वाली मशीनें देर रात तक गिनती में लगी. चुनाव के दौरान कांग्रेस के मंत्री के करीबी के घर से इतनी बड़ी मात्रा में नोटों की बरामदगी से कांग्रेस समेत सभी विरोधी दलों की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं. क्योंकि नोटों की गड्डियां पूरी दुनिया ने देखी. इसीलिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह समेत बीजेपी के तमाम बड़े नेताओं ने अपनी रैलियों में ये मुद्दा उठाया. मोदी ने कहा कि पूरा देश देख रहा है कि कांग्रेस लूट का धंधा नहीं छोड़ सकती, जहां मौका मिलता है, कांग्रेस का पंजा अपना काम कर देता है लेकिन लूटने वालों को एक-एक पाई लौटानी पड़ेगी, ये मोदी की गारंटी है. कांग्रेस के नेताओं के पास तो अपने मंत्री के बचाव में कोई तर्क नहीं हैं लेकिन मंत्री ने सफाई दी है. आलमगीर आलम ने कहा है कि उनका पर्सनल सेकेट्री सरकारी अफसर है, उससे उनका कोई व्यक्तिगत संबंध नहीं है, इसलिए उसके पास जौ पैसा मिला है, वो किसका है, उन्हें नहीं मालूम. इस नकद से उनका नाम जोड़ना गलत है लेकिन बड़ी बात ये है कि जांच एजेंसियों को नोटों की गड्डियों के साथ जो कागजात मिले हैं उन दस्तावेजों से मंत्री का लेना-देना साबित होता है. पैसा ट्रांसफर पोस्टिंग का है, मनमाने तरीके से टेंडर्स अलॉट करवाने का है या फिर नोटों के बंडल भ्रष्टाचार की काली कमाई के हैं. ईडी ने सोमवार को रांची में जहांगीर आलम नाम के शख्स के घर में छापा मारा. जहांगीर आलम झारखंड के ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री आलमगीर आलम के पर्सनल सेक्रेटरी संजीव लाल का घरेलू नौकर है. जहांगीर आलाम की महीने भर की कमाई बीस हजार रूपए से ज्यादा नहीं है लेकिन जहांगीर आलम के घर से पांच पांच सौ के नोटों की पांच हजार से ज्यादा गड्डियां मिली, बड़ी बड़ी पॉलीथीन्स में, कपड़ों के बैग्स में नोट ही नोट भरे थे. ED की टीम को जब एक साधारण से गरीब दिखने वाले शख्स के घर में इतनी भारी मात्रा में नोट मिले तो ED के अफसर भी दंग रह गए. असल में सुबह ED की टीम्स ने रांची में आज एक साथ 6 ठिकानों पर रेड की. जिन लोगों के ठिकानों पर ED के छापे पड़े उनमें जहांगीर आलम , ठेकेदार मुन्ना सिंह, सड़क निर्माण विभाग के इंजीनियर विकास कुमार और कुलदीप मिंज शामिल थे.. ED को मंत्री के पर्सनल सेक्रेटरी के नौकर जहांगीर के घर पर नोटों का पहाड़ मिला. इतने नोट थे कि उन्हें गिनने के लिए ED को बैंकों कैश गिनने की मशीनें मंगानी पड़ी. दोपहर तक नोट गिनते गिनते मशीनें गर्म होने लगी. दो मशीनें खराब हो गईं. इसके बाद, बैंक से नोट गिनने की और बड़ी मशीन मंगानी पड़ीं. इसके अलावा मंत्री के पर्सनल सेक्रेटरी संजीव लाल के क़रीबी ठेकेदार मुन्ना सिंह के घर से भी 5 करोड़ रु. का कैश मिला. जिस वक्त झारखंड में नोटों के पहाड़ मिले, उस वक्त प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ओडिशा में रैली कर रहे थे.. रैली में मोदी ने कहा कि अब कांग्रेस के शहज़ादे को बताना पड़ेगा कि कांग्रेस ने लूट का माल छुपाने के ऐसे कितने गोदाम बना रखे हैं. मोदी ने आंध्र प्रदेश की रैली में कहा कि जो ED-ED चिल्ला रहे थे, उन्हें ED से इतना दर्द क्यों हो रहा है, उसका सबूत आज फिर मिल गया. मोदी ने कहा कि अब तक कांग्रेस और उसके साथियों ने देश को लूटा है, अब मोदी लूट का माल जनता को लौटाएगा. असल में झारखंड़ में कांग्रेस के मंत्री के करीबियों के ठिकानों से नोटों के ढेर मिले हैं, वो सब पुराने घोटालों की जांच का नतीजा है. ED की ये छापेमारी ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के चीफ इंजीनियर वीरेंद्र राम के मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस से जुड़ी है. वीरेंद्र राम को ED ने पिछले साल फरवरी में गिरफ़्तार किया था. निलम्बित चीफ इंजीनियर वीरेंद्र राम ने माना था कि वो सड़कें बनाने और दूसरे ठेके देने के बदले में वो एक से तीन परसेंट कमीशन लेता था. 2023 में वीरेंद्र राम को गिरफ़्तार करने के बाद, ED ने उसकी करोड़ों रूपए की प्रॉपर्टी भी अटैच की थी. ED को शक था कि सस्पेंड होने के बावजूद, वीरेंद्र राम अभी भी झारखंड के सरकारी ठेकों में कमीशनखोरी के रैकेट से जुड़ा था. इसके बाद ED ने झारखंड सरकार को कार्रवाई के लिए इस बारे में सीक्रेट लेटर लिखे लेकिन कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई. इसके बाद ED ने ख़ुद वीरेंद्र राम और उससे जुड़े लोगों के ख़िलाफ़ जांच शुरू की. इनमें कांग्रेस के मंत्री आलमगीर आलम के पर्सनल सेक्रेटरी संजीव लाल भी शामिल थे. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि आज ED को छापेमारी में संजीव लाल के नौकर जहांगीर के यहां से वो चिट्ठी भी मिली जो ED ने झारखंड सरकार को लिखी थी. ED की टीम को कुछ हाथ से लिखे कागज़ भी मिले हैं, जो सरकारी के अधिकारियों की ट्रांसफर पोस्टिंग से जुड़े हैं.बीजेपी सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने दावा किया कि ये सारा पैसा आलमगीर आलम का ही है जो ट्रांसफर पोस्टिंग और ठेकेदारी से कमाया गया है. “हाथ कंगन को आरसी क्या…पढे लिखे को फारसी क्या”, “प्रत्यक्षम् किम् प्रमाणम्” यानि जब सबूत सामने हैं, वीडियो में नोटों के बंडल दिख रहे हैं तो फिर कांग्रेस कितनी भी सफाई दे, कोई भी इल्जाम लगाए, किसी के गले नहीं उतरेगा. झारखंड प्राकृतिक और खनिज संपदाओं के मामले में सबसे धनी राज्य है. लेकिन इसके बाद भी राज्य के लोग सबसे गरीब है और वहां के नेताओं के नौकर नोटों के ढेरों पर सोते हैं. इसीलिए ये तो पूछा जाएगा कि नेताओं के पास ये पैसे कहां से आया? किसका है? पिछले साल झारखंड में ही कांग्रेस के एक व्यापारी सांसद की फैक्ट्री से साढ़े तीन सौ करोड़ रु. का कैश मिला. और अब कांग्रेस के मंत्री के PS के नौकर के घर से करोड़ों का कैश बरामद हुआ. .इसलिए बीजेपी इसे मुद्दा बनाए तो कोई गलत बात नहीं हैं. अब चुनाव के दौरान कांग्रेस और विरोधी दलों के नेता सफाई देंगे, ED के एक्शन पर सवाल उठाएंगे और नरेन्द्र मोदी अपनी हर रैली में नोटों की गड्डियों की याद दिलाएंगे और कहेंगे लूट का माल तो लौटाना पड़ेगा.
JHARKHAND CASH : CONGRESS HAS MUCH TO ANSWER
The seizure of nearly Rs 35 crore cash from the home of a domestic servant attached to the personal secretary of Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam on Monday raises serious questions. Enforcement Directorate staff raided multiple locations in Ranchi in connection with an old corruption and money laundering case, and stumbled upon wads of current notes stuffed inside bags and suitcases in the house of Jehangir Alam, a servant working for Sanjeev Lal, personal secretary to Jharkhand rural development minister Alamgir Alam. Currency note counting machines had to be brought in to ascertain the exact value of cash seized and the counting went on till late in the night. The seizure of cash comes a week ahead of the polling for Lok Sabha elections, slated for May 13. As visuals of “mountain load” of seized currency notes flashed on TV screens on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at the opposition alliance in his election rallies. Modi said, the entire nation is watching that the Congress has not put an end to its “looting spree”, but each paisa of looted money will have to returned to the government. The Congress minister Alamgir Alam said, his PS Sanjeeb Lal “is a government employee and his services were provided to me by the department. He has been PS to two other ministers earlier.” He said, he had no personal relations with his PS and he had no knowledge whom the cash belonged to. But the most important point is, ED officials have found papers with the currency notes, which prove the minister’s link with cash transactions. Investigators said, they believed this was bribe money collected from transfers and posting of officers, and from allotment of tenders. The domestic servant Jehangir Alam’s monthly earning is hardly Rs 20,000, but more than 5,000 bundles of Rs 500 currency notes were reportedly recovered from his home. ED staff had raided six locations in Ranchi on Monday, and these included the premises of Jehangir Alam, a contractor Munna Singh, Road Construction department engineers Vikas Kumar and Kuldip Minz. Counting machines became hot after repetitive use by ED staff, and more machines had to be procured from banks to count the ill-gotten money. More than Rs 5 crore cash was seized from contractor Munna Singh’s premises. In neighbouring Odisha, while addressing an election rally, PM Narendra Modi said, “the shehzada of Congress will have to disclose how many such godowns full of cash have been concealed till now.” In Andhra Pradesh rally, Modi said, those who were crying hoarse about ED, are realling feeling the pinch after watching today’s visuals. The PM said, “Modi will now return this money to the national coffers”. Monday’s raids were part of a probe into earlier scams involving alleged money laundering by Rural Development department chief engineer Veerendra Ram. He was arrested in February last year and suspended. He had admitted tht he used to collect one to three per cent commission on road building and other tenders. ED had attached his properties worth several crores last year, and suspected that he was still involved in commission collection in government departments. In Monday’s search, several hand-written notes were found with cash relating to transfers and posting of Jharkhand government officers. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey alleged that the entire cash belonged to Alamgir Alam and it was collected through transfers and posting and commissions from contractors. In Sanskrit, there is an oft-repeated phrase “Pratakshyam Kim Pramanam” (Whatever visible does not require proof). The visuals are clear. Mounds of currency notes tumbling out of bags. No amlount of clarification or allegations by Congress will not hold water in this case. Jharkhand is a state rich in mineral and other natural resources, but most of the people in the state live below poverty level. But here we find leaders sleeping on wads of currency notes. Naturally, the questions will be asked: What is the source of this money? Whom does this cash belong to? Last year, nearly Rs 350 crore cash was seized from a Congress MP in Jharkhand. This time, crores of rupees worth cash was seized from the servation attached to the personal secretary of a Congress minister. Naturally BJP is going to make it a big issue. In more election rallies, Congress and opposition leaders will raise question about ED, and Modi will remind people about the “mountain load of cash” to voters. He will also say, looted money will have to be returned.
नेता मतदाताओं से सच्चाई क्यों छिपाते हैं ?
लोकसभा चुनाव की सबसे बड़ी खबर उत्तर प्रदेश से है. पहली ये कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी तीसरी बार वाराणसी से 14 मई को नामांकन दाखिल करेंगे. मोदी एक दिन पहले यानी 13 मई को ही बनारस पहुंच जाएंगे. काशी विश्वनाथ के दर्शन करेंगे, वाराणसी में रोड शो करेंगे. इसके बाद 14 मई को पर्चा भरेंगे. दूसरी खबर ये है कि राहुल गांधी ने इस बार अमेठी की सीट छोड़ दी. राहुल अमेठी के बजाय रायबरेली से चुनाव लड़ेंगे. राहुल ने शुक्रवार को रायबरेली से पर्चा भर दिया. अमेठी से कांग्रेस की तरफ से गांधी परिवार के विश्वासपात्र किशोरी लाल शर्मा ने बतौर उम्मीदवार पर्चा भरा. प्रियंका गांधी चुनाव नहीं लड़ेंगी, सिर्फ प्रचार करेंगी. कांग्रेस के नेता राहुल गांधी के अमेठी की बजाय रायबरेली से चुनाव लड़ने को मास्टर स्ट्रोक, सोची समझी रणनीति बता रहे हैं जबकि बीजेपी के नेताओं ने इस फैसले के कारण राहुल को रणछोड़दास कहना शुरू कर दिया है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि उन्हें पहले से पता था. उन्होंने पहले ही बता दिया था कि शाहजादे वायनाड से हार रहे है, इसलिए वायनाड में वोटिंग के बाद नई सीट खोजेंगे. आज वही हुआ. अमित शाह ने भी कहा कि जब गांधी नेहरू परिवार अपनी खानदानी सीट से चुनाव लड़ने की हिम्मत नहीं जुटा पा रहा है तो देश में कांग्रेस की क्या हालत होगी, ये किसी को बताने की ज़रूरत नहीं हैं. रायबरेली की तस्वीरें देखकर ऐसा लगा कि जैसे राहुल बड़े अनमने ढंग से चुनाव लड़ने रायबरेली गए. कांग्रेस के लोग तो ये कहते हैं कि राहुल का अमेठी और रायबरेली दोनों में से किसी सीट पर लड़ने की इच्छा नहीं थी लेकिन समाजवादी पार्टी ने दबाव बनाया. समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता बता रहे हैं कि अखिलेश यादव ने ये शर्त रखी कि राहुल और प्रियंका को अमेठी से लड़ना चाहिए, इसका असर पूरे प्रदेश में होगा. देर रात राहुल ने रायबरेली से लड़ने का फैसला किया. कांग्रेस के नेताओं के लिए इससे ज्यादा आश्चर्य की बात ये है कि प्रियंका गांधी को रायबरेली से नहीं लड़वाया गया..पिछले 5 साल से प्रियंका गांधी, सोनिया गांधी के लिए रायबरेली चुनावक्षेत्र का काम देख रही थीं. ऐसी धारणा बनने लगी थी कि सोनिया, प्रियंका को इस चुनावक्षेत्र में अपनी उत्ताराधिकारी के तौर पर तैयार कर रही हैं. कांग्रेस के नेता कहते हैं कि इन दोनों सीटों से कौन लड़ेगा कौन नहीं लड़ेगा, ये परिवार का फैसला है और इसमें कोई कुछ नहीं बोल सकता. परिवार के इसी फैसले का नतीजा हुआ कि रॉबर्ट वाड्रा का अमेठी से चुनाव लड़ने का सपना भी टूट गया. पिछले कुछ महीनों में रॉबर्ट वाड्रा ने अलग अलग तरीके से कई बार ये धारणा पैदा की थी कि कि वो अमेठी से चुनाव लड़ने को तैयार हैं. वह तो ये भी कहते थे कि अमेठी के लोग चाहते हैं कि वो वहां से चुनाव लड़ें लेकिन गांधी परिवार ने फैसला किया. वाड्रा तो दूर राहुल गांधी ने भी अमेठी छोड़कर रायबरेली को चुना. अमेठी से इस बार कांग्रेस ने गांधी नेहरू परिवार के पुराने विश्वासपात्र किशोरी लाल शर्मा को टिकट दिया है. लुधियाना के रहने वाले किशोरी लाल शर्मा 1983 में अमेठी आए थे. उस समय राजीव गांधी, अमेठी से कांग्रेस के सांसद थे. उसके बाद से वो अमेठी और रायबरेली दोनों ही सीटों पर गांधी परिवार के मैनेजर रहे. हालांकि, 2019 में जब राहुल गांधी, अमेठी से चुनाव हारे, तो इसके लिए कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने के एल शर्मा को ही जिम्मेदार ठहराया था लेकिन, सोनिया गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी ने किशोरी लाल शर्मा का बचाव किया था. अमेठी में किशोरी लाल शर्मा के नामांकन दाखिले के वक्त न राहुल पहुंचे, न सोनिया. सिर्फ प्रियंका गांधी को भेजा. प्रियंका ने के एल शर्मा के लिए रोड शो किया, लोगों से समर्थन मांगा. जब प्रियंका से पूछा गया कि क्या स्मृति ईरानी के सामने के एल शर्मा टिक सकेंगे. तो प्रियंका ने कहा कि शर्मा ने 1999 में सोनिया गांधी को यहां से जिताया था, उसके बाद के सारे चुनाव में वो ही मैनेजर रहे हैं, अमेठी के हर गांव और हर परिवार को के एल शर्मा जानते हैं. प्रियंका ने कहा कि केएल शर्मा ज़रूर जीतेंगे.
कभी कभी तो ये देखकर आश्चर्य होता है कि चुनाव के दौरान हमारे नेता जनता के साथ कैसे कैसे गेम खेलते हैं. क्या वोट देते समय वायनाड के लोगों को ये जानने का हक नहीं था कि राहुल गांधी किसी दूसरी सीट से भी चुनाव लड़ेंगे? वायनाड के लोगों से ये बात जान-बूझकर छुपाई गई. जब तक वायनाड में पोलिंग नहीं हो गई, राहुल गांधी मना करते रहे कि वो अमेठी या रायबरेली नहीं जाएंगे. कांग्रेस में हर कोई जानता था कि वायनाड की वोटिंग के बाद फैसला होगा. इसीलिए अमेठी और रायबरेली के उम्मीदवार घोषित नहीं किए गए. अब राहुल रायबरेली से लड़ेंगे. वायनाड के लोगों को वोट डालने से पहले इसकी जानकारी होनी चाहिए थी. इसी तरह हासन के लोगों के साथ भी धोखा हुआ. सारे नेता कांग्रेस हों या बीजेपी जानते थे कि देवेगौड़ा के पोते ने क्या किया है. सबने pen drive में प्रज्वल के Sex वीडियो देखे थे. बीजेपी का तो वहां JD-S के साथ गठबंधन है, चुप रहना मजबूरी हो सकती है. पर कांग्रेस की तो कोई मजबूरी नहीं थी. कर्नाटक में कांग्रेस की सरकार है, पुलिस उनके पास है, सबूत उपलब्ध थे, लेकिन सब चुपचाप तमाशा देखते रहे क्योंकि लगा कि अभी कुछ किया तो वोक्कालिगा वोटों का नुकसान हो जाएगा. ज़रा सोचिए. ये सारे नेता समझते हैं कि वोक्कालिगा समाज के लोग एक ऐसे नेता के खिलाफ एक्शन लेने से नाराज हो जाएंगे जिस पर सैकड़ों महिलाओं की आबरू लूटने का इल्जाम है! उसके घर के भेदी ने वीडियो उपलब्ध करवाए. वोटर करे तो क्या करे. उसने पूरा सच जाने बिना प्रज्वल रेवन्ना को वोट दिया होगा. मुझे लगता है कि चुनाव से पहले हर मतदाता को सच जानने का हक है. वायनाड हो या हासन, वोटर से जानबूझकर सच छिपाया गया.
WHY LEADERS CONCEAL TRUTH FROM VOTERS?
After weeks of keeping everybody in suspense, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi decided to contest from his mother Sonia Gandhi’s Rae Bareli constituency, and, on Friday, filed his nomination in the presence of his mother, sister Priyanka, brother-in-law Robert Vadra and party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Rahul decided not to contest from his traditional constituency Amethi, and in his place, family loyalist Kishori Lal Sharma filed his nomination to take on Union Minister Smriti Irani. Priyanka Gandhi opted not to contest and decided to devote her time to campaigning for party candidates. From the BJP camp, news came about Prime Minister Narendra Modi deciding to file his nomination in Varanasi on May 14. He will reach the city a day earlier, perform prayers before Kashi Vishwanath and take out a road show, While Congress leaders described Rahul’s decision to contest from Rae Bareli as a strategic decision, BJP described Rahul as ‘Ranchhod Das’ (one who runs away from fight). Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at his election rally that Rahul was losing in Wayanad, Kerala, and this was the reason why he opted for a safe seat in Rae Bareli. Congress sources said, surveys were conducted in both Amethi and Rae Bareli and it was found that the latter would be a safer seat for Rahul. Home Minister Amit Shah said at a Karnataka rally that Sonia Gandhi has again opted to launch her son and this time “the launchpad has been shifted from Amethi to Rae Bareli”. Watching the visuals of Rahul and his entourage going to file nomination in Rae Bareli, one gets the impression that Rahul appeared to be clearly disinterested. Some Congress leaders said that Rahul was unwilling to contest from both seats, but it was their ally Samajwadi Party which put pressure on Rahul to contest from UP. Reportedly, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav put condition that Rahul or Priyanka should contest from Amethi, and this would have a statewide impact. Congress leaders were surprised why Priyanka Gandhi was not fielded from Rae Bareli, because it was she who was looking after this constituency for her ailing mother Sonia in Rae Bareli, for the last five years. An impression had gained ground that Sonia was grooming Priyanka as her successor in Rae Bareli. Congress leaders said, it was ultimately the Gandhi family’s decision and party leaders had no role in it. At the same time, Robert Vadra’s dreams of contesting from Amethi have also crashed. Vadra had been telling the media for the last several weeks that he was willing to contest from Amethi. He even went to the extent of saying that the voters of Amethi want him to contest. Ultimately, the family’s decision prevailed. Kishori Lal Sharma, the man picked up by Gandhi family, to take on Smriti Irani in Amethi, is originally from Ludhiana, Punjab. He first came to Amethi in 1983. Rajiv Gandhi was then the Congress MP, and Sharma looked after both Amethi and Rae Bareli constituencies as the family’s manager. In 2019, when Rahul Gandhi lost to Smriti Irani in Amethi, Congress leaders held K L Sharma responsible, but both Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi defended Sharma. On Friday, only Priyanka Gandhi was present when Sharma filed his nomination in Amethi. Bith Sonia and Rahul were absent. Priyanka held an impromptu road show for K L Sharma and sought people’s support. When Priyanka was asked by reporters whether Sharma would be able to defeat Smriti Irani, she replied, “it was K L Sharma who was behind Sonia Gandhi’s victory in 1999 and since then, he has been the manager during all elections. Sharma know every village and family in Amethi closely and he will definitely win.” One feels somewhat surprised how our leaders play games with voters during elections. Was it not the right of voters in Wayanad to know that their candidate Rahul would be contesting from some other seat in UP? This fact was deliberately kept secret from the people of Wayanad till polling was over in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi consistently denied that he would contest from Amethi or Rae Bareli.Every leader in Congress knew that any decision about Amethi or Rae Bareli would be taken after voting in Wayand was over. This was the reason why Congress refrained from annoucing its candidates from both seats in UP. The people of Wayanad had the right to know that Rahul would also be contesting from Rae Bareli. Similarly, the voters of Hassan in Karnataka were deliberately cheated. Most of the Congress and BJP leaders in the state knew what H D Devegowda’s grandson Prajwal Revanna had done and many of them had watched his sex videos on pen drive. BJP wa in alliance with Devegowda’s Janata Dal-S in Karnataka and one can understand BJP’s compulsion. There was no such compulsion for Congress party. The party is ruling Karnataka and controls the state police. Evidence was there, but most of the leaders sat silent watching the ‘tamasha’. They felt their Vokkaliga vote banks would be dented if any action was taken before polling. Just imagine. पाकिस्तान मोदी से डरता है : वह नहीं चाहेगा भारत में कोई मजबूत पीएम हो
चुनाव के मैदान में पाकिस्तान की एंट्री हुई. पाकिस्तान के एक पूर्व मंत्री चौधरी फवाद हुसैन ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान को राहुल गांधी का समर्थन करना चाहिए क्योंकि मोदी सरकार की नीतियां पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ है. फवाद चौधरी ने मोदी के खिलाफ राहुल के कैंपेन को ‘राहुल ऑन फायर’ कहकर तारीफ की. राहुल ने इस पर कोई प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त नहीं की, लेकिन नरेंद्र मोदी ने पाकिस्तान की इस बयानबाजी का पूरा-पूरा फायदा उठाया. मोदी ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान ‘कांग्रेस के शहज़ादे’ को प्रधानमंत्री बनवाना चाहता है. मोदी ने कहा कि ‘कांग्रेस मरी, तो पाकिस्तान रोया’. मोदी ने पाकिस्तान के हवाले से कहा कि कांग्रेस के लिए अब पाकिस्तान दुआ कर रहा है. कांग्रेस के शाही परिवार के शहजादे को प्रधानमंत्री बनाने के लिए पाकिस्तान उतावला हो रहा है. प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ये बातें गुजरात के आणंद में एक चुनाव रैली में कही. मोदी ने कहा कि ये बात तो सब जानते हैं कि कांग्रेस पार्टी पाकिस्तान की मुरीद है लेकिन अब तो पाकिस्तान और कांग्रेस की दोस्ती खुलकर सामने आ गई है. फवाद हुसैन पाकिस्तान में इमरान खान की सरकार में सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री रह चुके हैं. राहुल गांधी के वीडियो को री-ट्वीट करके लिखा था- ‘Rahul on Fire’. जैसे ही फवाद चौधरी का ये ट्वीट सामने आया, बीजेपी को कांग्रेस पर हमला करने का मौका मिल गया. मोदी तो पहले से ही कांग्रेस के घोषणापत्र पर मुस्लिम लीग की छाप होने की बातें कह रहे थे. अब मोदी ने ये कह दिया कि कांग्रेस और पाकिस्तान की साझेदार खुलकर सामने आ गई है. मोदी की ये भाषण फवाद चौधरी ने भी सुना और उसके बाद ट्वीट करके कहा कि लगता है मोदी जी मेरे बयान से नाराज़ हो गए हैं. फवाद चौधरी ने कहा कि वो राहुल गांधी को व्य़क्तिगत रूप से नहीं जानते लेकिन मोदी सरकार की नीतियां उन्हें पसंद नहीं है, इसलिए राहुल गांधी का समर्थन किया जाना चाहिए. कांग्रेस नेता अशोक गहलोत ने गुजरात की चुनाव रैली में कहा कि जब जब चुनाव आता है, बीजेपी पाकिस्तान को ले आती है, ये सब बीजेपी का चुनावी हथकंडा है, इससे कोई फायदा नहीं होने वाला कांग्रेस के नेता राशिद अल्वी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस पर सवाल उठाने से पहले मोदी को ये बताना चाहिए कि पाकिस्तान से उनका क्या रिश्ता है क्योंकि प्रधानमंत्री रहते हुए मनमोहन सिंह तो कभी पाकिस्तान नहीं गए, लेकिन मोदी तो पहली बार प्रधानमंत्री बनते ही पाकिस्तान पहुंच गए थे. मोदी और पाकिस्तान का रिश्ता कोई रहस्य की बात नहीं है. मोदी ने पहले दोस्ती का हाथ बढ़ाया. पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री को अपने पहले शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में बुलाया. फिर नवाज शरीफ के आमंत्रण पर अचानक लाहौर भी गए. दुनिया को दिखा दिया कि उन्होंने पाकिस्तान को सुधरने का पूरा पूरा मौका दिया लेकिन जब पाकिस्तान नहीं माना, नहीं सुधरा, तो दो-दो बार घर में घुसकर मारा. एक बार हमारी फौज ज़मीन के रास्ते से गई और दूसरी बार बजरंगबली के रास्ते से उड़कर हमारी वायुसेना ने एयर स्ट्राइक की. ये संक्षेप में मोदी का रिकॉर्ड है. ये मोदी का पाकिस्तान से रिश्ता है. अब कांग्रेस के रिश्ते को समझने की कोशिश करते हैं. कांग्रेस की सरकार में पूर्व मंत्री मणिशंकर अय्यर ने पाकिस्तान जाकर पाकिस्तानियों से मोदी को हराने में मदद मांगी थी. अब 10 साल बाद पाकिस्तान के एक पूर्व मंत्री ने कहा राहुल को समर्थन देना चाहिए. फवाद चौधरी ने राहुल को ‘ऑन फायर’ कहकर उनकी तारीफ की. अब ये बताने की जरूरत नहीं है कि मोदी को ये मौका किसने दिया? और मोदी ऐसे किसी मौके को कभी नहीं छोड़ते. फुलटॉस फेंकोगे तो मोदी सिक्सर जरूर मारेंगे. अच्छा तो ये होता कि राहुल गांधी कहते कि उन्हें पाकिस्तान का समर्थन नहीं चाहिए. ये हमारे घर का मामला है, इसे हम आपस में निपट लेंगे. लेकिन राहुल तो इसपर खामोश रहे. अगर पाकिस्तान के नजरिए से देखें, तो पाकिस्तान को तो भारत में एक कमज़ोर सरकार चाहिए, एक कमजोर प्रधानमंत्री चाहिए. पाकिस्तान की मोदी से यही प्रॉब्लम है. मोदी एक मबूत प्रधानमंत्री हैं. उनके पास पूर्ण बहुमत वाली मजबूत और टिकाऊ सरकार है. पिछले 10 साल में पूरी दुनिया में भारत का रुतबा बढ़ा है, पाकिस्तान की हैसियत कम हुई है. पाकिस्तान मोदी से डरता है, इसीलिए पाकिस्तान कभी नहीं चाहेगा कि मोदी एक बार फिर प्रधानमंत्री बनें.
PAKISTAN FEARS MODI : DOESN’T WANT A STRONG PM IN INDIA
Pakistan made its entry in the ongoing election campaign in India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying Congress party has become a ‘mureed’(disciple) of Pakistan. The immediate provocation was, former Pakistan Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain retweeted a video showing Rahul attacking Modi in his rally, and Fawad commenting “Rahul on fire”. The BJP immediate reacted and asked whether Congress is planning to contest election in Pakistan. Fawad Chaudhry responded by saying, Pakistanis should support Rahul Gandhi because Modi’s policies do not suit Pakistan. Rahul Gandhi refused to comment, but on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lambasted the Congress. Modi, in one of his Gujarat rallies, said, “Pakistan is crying because Congress is dying here. Leaders in Pakistan are praying for Congress. Pakistan is eager to make the shehzada (prince) the next prime minister. The partnership between Pakistan and Congress has been exposed. The country’s enemies want a weak government, and not a strong government in India.” Fawad Chaudhry reacted by saying, “it seems Modi is upset with my statement, personally I don’t know Rahul Gandhi, but I do not like Modi government’s policies and that is the reason why we in Pakistan should support Rahul Gandhi. “ Later, he took a strident tone by tweeting: “If Modi g and BJP can be so rattled by my one tweet, imagine what Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and enlightened and progressive Hindus together can do? These classes must unite to defeat narrative of division and hatred. Support anyone who can stop menace of Modi, be it Rahul or Mumta Baner Ji (sic) or Kejrewal (sic)..give your support to one who can win against Modi for safer region and peace..defeat hate monger BJP.” Rajasthan Congress leader Ashok Gehlot reacted to Modi’s remarks by saying, “whenever elections take place, BJP brings in Pakistan. All these are poll gimmicks of BJP and these won’t have any effect.” Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, Modi should first explain his relationship with Pakistan, why Dr Manmohan Singh, despite being PM, never visited Pakistan, but Modi landed in Pakistan soon after he became PM. There is nothing secret about the relationship between Modi and Pakistan. When he became Prime Minister, Modi extended his hand of friendship, and invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend his first swearing-in ceremony. At Nawaz Sharif’s invitation, Modi suddenly visited Lahore and showed to the world that he gave full opportunity to Pakistan to improve bilateral relations. But Pakistan did not mend its aways and carried out terror attacks on our air bases. Twice, our armed forces had to enter their territory and carry out surgical strikes. First time, our forces carried out surgical strike on land, and the second time, after Pulwama, our air force bombed terror hideouts deep inside Pakistan. This, in short, is Modi’s record and his relationship with Pakistan. Let us try to understand Congress party’s relations with Pakistan. A former minister in Congress government Mani Shanker Aiyar went to Pakistan and sought Pakistan’s help to defeat Modi in 2014 elections. Ten years later, a former minister of Pakistan is openly saying that Pakistan must support Rahul Gandhi. Fawad Chaudhry praised him by writing “Rahul on fire” on social media. Needless to say, who gave the opportunity to Modi to attack Congress on Pakistan issue. Modi never leaves such chances. If you throw a full toss, Modi will hit a sixer, surely. It would have been better if Rahul Gandhi had state that he did not need Pakistan’s support, and our elections are internal matter. But Rahul Gandhi maintained silence. Let’s see this from Pakistan’s point of view. Pakistan will surely want an unstable government and a weak Prime Minister in India. This is the core problem of Pakistan as far as Modi is concerned. Modi has emerged as a strong prime minister, he has a stable government enjoying full majority, and in the last 10 years, India’s stature has grown while Pakistan’s status has declined for the worse. Pakistan fears Modi. It will never want him to become Prime Minister again.
राष्ट्रपति की अयोध्या यात्रा पर विपक्ष चुप क्यों है
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने अयोध्या जाकर भव्य राम मंदिर में रामलला के दर्शन किये। हनुमानगढ़ी में बजरंगबली की पूजा अर्चना की। फिर सरयू की आरती में हिस्सा लिया। रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के बाद राष्ट्रपति का ये पहला अयोध्या दौरा है। महामहिम द्रौपदी मुर्मू अयोध्या में करीब पांच घंटे रहीं। पूरे देश में राष्ट्रपति के दौरे की चर्चा हुई लेकिन हैरानी की बात ये है कि आज विपक्ष के किसी नेता ने चुनावी रैलियों में अयोध्या का जिक्र नहीं किया। प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह की बात नहीं की। जबकि पिछले कई दिनों से राहुल गांधी, मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे से लेकर अखिलेश यादव तक अपनी चुनावी सभाओं में रोज ये इल्जाम लगा रहे थे कि राष्ट्रपति को अयोध्या में रामलला के दर्शन नहीं करने दिए गए क्योंकि द्रौपदी मुर्मू आदिवासी हैं। आरोप लगाया गया कि बीजेपी के नेता दलितों और आदिवासियों के साथ भेदभाव बरतते हैं। इसलिए राष्ट्रपति को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम में नहीं बुलाया गया। लेकिन जब राष्ट्रपति अयोध्या पहुंचीं, भक्ति भाव से रामलला के दर्शन किये तो विरोधियों की जुबान बंद हो गई। लेकिन योगी आदित्यनाथ से लेकर अमित शाह और केशव प्रसाद मौर्य तक सबने कांग्रेस और खासतौर पर राहुल गांधी को घेरा जो राष्ट्रपति का नाम लेकर बीजेपी पर हमले कर रहे थे।
श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट ने भी राहुल गांधी से कहा कि वो झूठ और भ्रम की राजनीति बंद करें, राम की शरण में आएं, प्रभु राम उनका भी कल्याण करेंगे। न्यास के महासचिव चंपत राय ने कहा कि न सिर्फ़ राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को, बल्कि पूर्व राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद को भी रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में शामिल होने का न्यौता दिया गया था, विपक्षी दल झूठे प्रचार कर रहे हैं, उनको राष्ट्रपति के बारे में दुष्प्रचार नहीं करना चाहिए। अयोध्या के मुद्दे पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने भी कांग्रेस पर हमला किया। गुजरात के साबरकांठा की चुनावी रैली में मोदी ने कहा कि ये वही कांग्रेस है, जो कहती थी कि राम मंदिर बनेगा तो देश में आग लग जाएगी लेकिन सच तो ये है कि जब से मंदिर बना है, कांग्रेस के नेताओं के दिल में आग धधक रही है।
योगी आदित्यनाथ ने महाराष्ट्र के सोलापुर में अयोध्या का जिक्र किया। कहा, आजकल राहुल गांधी और उनके साथी इसलिए परेशान हैं कि अयोध्या में भव्य रामलला का मंदिर क्यों बन गया। योगी ने कहा कि जो लोग कहते थे कि राम थे ही नहीं, जो कहते थे अयोध्या में मंदिर बना तो खून की नदियां बहेंगी, जो राम का नाम लेने में शर्म महसूस करते थे, वे सब अब अयोध्या जाने के लिए छटपटा रहे हैं। लेकिन जनता इनका सच जान चुकी है। योगी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस को न प्रभु राम माफ करेंगे, न रामभक्त। सोलापुर से कांग्रेस की तरफ से सुशील कुमार शिन्दे की बेटी परणीति शिन्दे चुनाव लड़ रही हैं। यूपीए सरकार के वक्त सुशील शिन्दे देश के गृह मंत्री थे। सुशील शिन्दे ने संसद में में खड़े होकर saffron terror (केसरिया आतंकवाद) की बात की थी। सबसे पहले सुशील कुमार शिन्दे ने ही हिंदू आतंकवाद शब्द का इस्तेमाल किया था इसीलिए योगी ने सुशील कुमार शिन्दे के उस बयान का हवाला देकर अयोध्या की बात की।
गृह मंत्री अमित शाह भगवान राम के ननिहाल छत्तीसगढ़ में थे। कोरबा की रैली में अमित शाह ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने पहले राम का विरोध किया, फिर राम मंदिर बनने का विरोध किया, जब इससे भी मन नहीं भरा तो रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का न्योता ठुकराया। अमित शाह ने कहा कि अब रामलला के ननिहाल वालों को उन्हें सबक ज़रूर सिखाना चाहिए। कल तक राहुल गांधी से लेकर मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे तक सारे नेता अयोध्या के मुद्दे पर खूब बोल रहे थे, बीजेपी पर इल्जाम लगा रहे थे कि राष्ट्रपति आदिवासी हैं इसलिए द्रौपदी मुर्मू को अयोध्या आने का न्योता नहीं दिया गया। लेकिन बुधवार को जब राष्ट्रपति महोदया अयोध्या पहुंच गईं तो इस मुद्दे पर चुनावी रैलियों में विपक्ष का कोई नेता नहीं बोला। सिर्फ संजय राउत ने कहा कि अब चुनावी माहौल है, बीजेपी की नजर आदिवासी वोटों पर हैं, इसीलिए मोदी सरकार ने राष्ट्रपति को अयोध्या भेजा है।
ये सही है कि राम मंदिर इस चुनाव में एक बड़ा मुद्दा है। रोज़ दोनों तरफ से इसकी चर्चा होती है। बीजेपी के नेता याद दिलाते हैं कि नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रयासों से हिंदुओं का 500 साल पुराना सपना पूरा हो सका। अयोध्या में भव्य राम मंदिर बना। राहुल गांधी भी राम मंदिर का जिक्र करते हैं। राहुल आजकल अपनी हर चुनावी सभा में जब दलितों की बात करते हैं, जब मोदी को आदिवासियों का दुश्मन बताते हैं तो इसी क्रम में वो राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को भी ले आते हैं। राहुल कहते हैं कि मुर्मू को मंदिर में इसीलिए नहीं बुलाया गया कि वो आदिवासी हैं। राहुल गांधी ये भूल गए कि द्रौपदी मुर्मू को, एक आदिवासी महिला को, सर्वोच्च पर आसीन करने का निर्णय नरेंद्र मोदी का ही था पर चुनाव में सब अपने अपने हिसाब से बोलते हैं। अच्छी बात ये है कि राष्ट्रपति के राम मंदिर की यात्रा को राजनीति से दूर रखा गया।
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ, जो बीजेपी के स्टार कैंपेनर हैं, राष्ट्रपति के साथ दिखाई नहीं दिए। लेकिन राम मंदिर अब गांव गांव में लोगों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बन चुका है। 22 जनवरी से 22 अप्रैल तक 3 महीने में दुनिया भर से डेढ़ करोड़ से ज्यादा लोग अयोध्या जाकर भव्य राम मंदिर में रामलला के दर्शन कर चुके हैं और ये अपने आप में एक वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड है। ईसाइयों के सबसे बड़े धार्मिक स्थल वैटिकन सिटी को अब तक सबसे बड़ा धार्मिक पर्यटन स्थल जाता था। यहां साल भर में 90 लाख लोग आते हैं जबकि मुसलमानों के पवित्र स्थल मक्का में पिछले साल 1 करोड़ 35 लाख लोग उमरा करने पहुंचे थे। अंदाजा ये है कि जबतक एक साल पूरा होगा करीब 10 करोड़ लोग अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के दर्शन कर चुके होंगे और ये एक ऐसा रिकॉर्ड होगा जिसको पार कर पाना किसी भी धार्मिक स्थल के लिए मुश्किल होगा।
WHY OPPOSITION IS SILENT ON PRESIDENT’S AYODHYA VISIT
President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday offered prayers before Ram Lalla idol in the newly built temple in Ayodhya. In the evening, she watched Maha Aarti at Saryu river ghat. She also visited Hanuman Garhi to pray before Lord Hanuman. This was the President’s first visit to Ayodhya, where she stayed for nearly five hours. For the last several weeks, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had been repeatedly alleging at their election rallies that the President was not invited to the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla idol on January 22, though a large number of dignitaries were invited. Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Keshtra general secretary Champat Rai rejected the opposition’s charge that the President was not invited for the consecration ceremony. Champat Rai said, both President Murmu and former President Ram Nath Kovind were invited and the opposition was spreading falsehood that they were not invited because of their castes. More than 1,300 km away from Ayodhya, in Sabarkantha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress on Ram temple issue. Modi said, “this is the same Congress party which had warned that the country will be on fire if the Ram temple is built, but the reality is that the hearts of Congress leaders are on fire since the time Ram temple was built”. More than 1,500 km away from Ayodhya, in Solapur, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath told a rally that Rahul Gandhi and his associates are worried over how the Ram temple was built within a short time. Yogi told voters, “these were the same leaders who doubted the very existence of Lord Ram, and had warned that rivers of blood will flow if the temple was built… Leaders who felt ashamed of taking Lord Ram’s name in public, are now yearning to visit Ram temple in Ayodhya, and the people know the truth”. He said, “neither Lord Ram nor Ram Bhakts will ever forgive the Congress for this”. Solapur is the place from where Congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde’s daughter Praniti Shinde is contesting. During UPA rule, Sushilkumar Shinde was the Home Minister and it was he who had coined the phrase “saffron terror”. In Lord Ram’s “nanihaal” (birthplace of Lord Ram’s mother Kaushalya) in Chhattisgarh, Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at the Congress, saying the party had first questioned the existence of Lord Ram, then opposed the building of Ram temple, and thirdly rejected the invitation for attending the consecration ceremony. “Such a party must be taught a lesson”, Shah said. While Congress did not react, its ally Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, “Modi government sent the President to Ayodhya, because BJP is eyeing tribal votes.” It is true that Ram temple is a big issue in this election, and almost every day there are debates on this point. BJP leaders remind how Narendra Modi’s efforts fulfilled the 500-year-old dream of Hindus for building a grand temple at Ram’s birthplace. Rahul Gandhi also mentions the consecration ceremony in his speeches and alleges that the President was not asked to attend the ceremony. Rahul alleges that Murmu was not asked to attend because she was a tribal. Probably Rahul Gandhi forgot that it was Narendra Modi who installed a tribal woman on the topmost Constitutional seat in India. It is good that the President’s Ram temple visit was kept away from political mudslinging today. Since Yogi Adityanath is the star campaigner of BJP and was busy campaigning, he could not be present in Ayodhya to welcome the President. The Governor Anandiben Patel welcomed the President. Ram temple in Ayodhya has become the centre of attraction for millions of people living in India’s villages. Within a span of three months, from January 22 till April 22, more than 1.5 crore people from across the world visited Ram temple in Ayodhya and prayed before Ram Lalla idol. This, in itself, is a world record. Vatican City is considered the holiest place for Christians living across the world, and it is a big religious tourist spot, that attracted nine million people every year. Mecca in Saudi Arabia is the holiest place of Muslims. Last year 1.35 crore devotees performed umrah in Mecca. One calculation is that nearly 10 crore devotees will have darshan of Ram Lalla in the first year of Ram temple. This will set a world record, which may not be surpassed by any other religious tourist spot.

उत्तर प्रदेश में चुनाव के दौरान दो नये शब्द सुनाई दिए – ‘वोट जिहाद’. समाजवादी पार्टी की चुनाव सभा में मुसलमानों से कहा गया कि अगर अब भी इकट्ठे नहीं हुए तो ‘संघी सरकार’ आने वाली नस्लों को खत्म कर देगी, इसलिए अब वोट जिहाद का वक्त आ गया है. सलमान खुर्शीद के सामने उनकी भतीजी ने लोगों से कहा कि जो मुसलमान बीजेपी के नेताओं की सभाओं में जाते हैं, बीजेपी का समर्थन करते हैं, उनका सामाजिक बहिष्कार होना चाहिए, उन सबका हुक्का-पानी बंद होना चाहिए. अब तक आपने लव जिहाद शब्द खूब सुना होगा लेकिन इस चुनाव में वोट जिहाद की एंट्री हुई है. ये एंट्री कराई है सीनियर कांग्रेस नेता सलमान ख़ुर्शीद की भतीजी मारिया आलम खान ने. मारिया आलम खान समाजवादी पार्टी की नेता हैं. असल में मारिया आलम खान फ़र्रुख़ाबाद के क़ायमगंज में एक जनसभा को संबोधित कर रही थीं. फ़र्रुख़ाबाद से सलमान ख़ुर्शीद दो बार सांसद रह चुके हैं, लेकिन गठबंधन के तहत ये सीट समाजवादी पार्टी के खाते में गई है. यहां से समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार नवल किशोर शाक्य के लिए प्रचार करने मारिया आलम क़ायमगंज पहुंची थीं. इस इलाक़े में काफ़ी मुसलमान रहते हैं. मारिया आलम ने पहले तो बीजेपी उम्मीदवार मुकेश राजपूत के पक्ष में प्रचार करने वाले मुसलमानों को क़ौम का ग़द्दार बताया, उनका हुक्का पानी बंद करने की अपील की, फिर कहा कि आज मुस्लिम समुदाय पर जिस तरह हमले हो रहे हैं, उन्हें रोकना है तो मुसलमानों को एकजुट होकर बीजेपी के ख़िलाफ़ वोट देना होगा. मारिया आलम ने CAA-NRC का ज़िक्र करते हुए कहा कि अगर ज़ुल्म रोकना है, तो वोट जिहाद करना होगा, वोट जेहाद ही जुल्म से आज़ादी दिलाने का एकमात्र रास्ता है. मारिया ने जो कहा, वो यहां पेश है .. “अगर आज की बात की जाए, तो आज ये क़ुर्बानी ज़रूरी है….. हम उस जगह पहुंच चुके हैं कि जहां न हम जीत सकते हैं अकेले और न हम हार सकते हैं…… अगर अब भी हम एक नहीं हुए तो ये समझ लेना कि यहां से हमारा नाम-ओ-नक़्श मिटाने के लिए ये संघी सरकार जो कोशिश कर रही है उसको तुम कामयाब करने का काम करोगे. उसके मंसूबों को कामयाब करने का काम करोगे. इसलिए बहुत अक़्लमंदी के साथ, बहुत जज़्बाती न होकर के बहुत ख़ामोशी के साथ एक साथ होकर वोटों का जिहाद करो. क्योंकि हम सिर्फ़ वोटों का जिहाद कर सकते हैं और इस संघी सरकार को भगाने का काम कर सकते हैं. बहुत शर्म आती है जब मैंने आज ये सुना कि कुछ मुसलमानों ने आज यहां पर बैठकर मुकेश राजपूत की मीटिंग कराई. मुझे लगता है समाज को उनका हुक्का पानी बंद कर देना चाहिए. इतने मतलबी मत बनो की बच्चों की ज़िंदगियों से खेलो. हमारे बच्चों की जानों से खेलो. आज कितने लोग CAA NRC में जेलों में बंद और आपको बता दूं मुझे ख़ुशी हो रही है कि उन बच्चों के कितने केसेज़ सलमान ख़ुर्शीद साहब फ्री में लड़ रहे हैं. ये बहुत बड़ी बात है. हम लड़ रहे हैं आपके लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं. लेकिन अगर आप साथ नहीं देंगे तो हम अकेले कुछ नहीं कर सकते. क्योंकि हमारी ताक़त आप हो. और आप अगर ऐसे दिल छोड़कर बैठ जाओगे कि अब कुछ नहीं होगा, तो ऐसा नहीं होता. सौ बार लड़ेंगे. सौ बार हारेंगे. लेकिन फिर भी उठकर चलेंगे. दूसरी बात ये है कि लोग कह रहे हैं कि आज जो भी आज मौक़ा मिलता है. आज जो भी चुनावी मीटिंग होती है कहते हैं संविधान ख़तरे में है. लोकतंत्र ख़तरे में है. मैं कहती हूं कि अब इंसानियत ख़तरे में है. इंसानियत पर हमले हैं. तो इस बार बहुत होश से वोट दो. किसी की बातों में किसी के बहकावे में मत आओ.” फ़र्रुख़ाबाद पुलिस ने मारिया आलम और सलमान ख़ुर्शीद के खिलाफ मजहब के नाम पर वोट मांग कर आदर्श आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन का केस दर्ज किया है. असल में उत्तर प्रदेश में समाजवादी पार्टी और कांग्रेस का गठबंधन मुस्लिम और यादव वोट बैंक के भरोसे हैं. अखिलेश यादव और राहुल गांधी की जोड़ी को लगता है कि अगर यूपी में उनके उम्मीदवारों को एकमुश्त मुस्लिम वोट मिलता है तो कई सीटों पर बीजेपी को फाइट दी जा सकती है. मुस्लिम वोटर्स क्या सोचते हैं, किसे वोट देते हैं, ये जानने के लिए किसी एक्सपर्ट की जरूरत नहीं हैं. यूपी में मुस्लिम मतदाता मानते हैं कि अब उन्हें दो वक्त का राशन मिलता है, कानून व्यवस्था बेहतर है, पुलिस बेवजह परेशान नहीं करती, कुर्ते वाले लूट-खसोट नहीं करते, घर बने हैं, सड़कें बनी हैं, सुकून की जिंदगी है लेकिन जब बात वोट की आती है तो ज्यादातर मुस्लिम मतदाता साइकिल का बटन दबाने की बात करते हैं. लेकिन एक बदलाव आजकल दिखाई देता है. कुछ मुसलिम ऐसे भी हैं जो मानते हैं कि इतना सब मिलने के बाद उन्हें भी बदलना चाहिए. कुछ मुस्लिम नेताओं को ये डर लगता है कि कहीं मुस्लिम वोट टूट ना जाए. इसीलिए मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में वोट जिहाद जैसे लफ्ज Coin किए जा रहे हैं. मुसलमानों को डराया जा रहा है कि अगर बीजेपी की सरकार दोबारा आ गई तो उनकी identity (पहचान) खतरे में पड़ जाएगी. दूसरी तरफ बीजेपी की कोशिश है कि अगर विपक्ष मुस्लिम वोटों पर दांव लगा रहा है, तो उसे हिन्दू वोट पर फोकस करना चाहिए और ये काम मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ बखूबी कर रहे हैं. मंगलवार को योगी ने बंगाल में आरोप लगाया कि ममता सरकार वहां बंगलादेशियों को गैरकानूनी तरीके से बसा कर हिन्दुओं को राज्य में अल्पसंख्यक बनाने की तैयारी कर रही है.
‘VOTE JIHAD’ SLOGAN TO MOBILIZE MUSLIM VOTERS
A new phrase ‘Vote Jihad’ was heard in the election lexicon of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. This was uttered by none other than the niece of senior Congress leader and former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid while addressing a Samajwadi party rally in Kaimganj, Farrukhabad. Maria Alam Khan is a leader of Samajwadi Party, while his uncle Salman Khurshid was elected MP from Farrukhabad twice, in 1991 and 2009. Since SP is the alliance partner of Congress, Salman Khurshid was present at the rally. Canvassing for SP candidate Nawal Kishore Shakya, Maria Alam Khan said, those Muslims who are supporting the BJP rival are nothing but ‘traitors of the community’ (Qaum Ke Gaddar) and all social contacts with them should be stopped (hukka-paani bandh). Speaking about Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens, Maria Alam Khan said, Muslims must start “Vote Jihad” if they want to stop “atrocities” against them. She said, “we need this sacrifice (qurbani) today. We have reached a point, where we can neither win nor lose…. If Muslims do not unite, they will face complete eradication under BJP-RSS rule…..Let us all restrain our emotions, work cleverly and silently unite to carry out this ‘vote jihad’. Only then, we can we remove this Sanghi government. I was ashamed to hear that some of our local Muslims organized a meeting here for Mukesh Rajput (BJP candidate). We should impose social boycott (hukka-paani bandh) on them. There are so many youths who are languishing in jails today because of agitation against CAA, NRC, and Salman Khurshid Saheb is fighting their cases free of cost. We are all fighting for you, but if you do not join hands with us, we cannot do anything alone. You are our strength and if you lose your confidence, nothing can happen. We will fight hundred times and even lose, but our fight will continue. Those who are saying, Constitution and democracy are in danger, I can only say, even humanity is in danger. So vote with confidence this time, and do not be misguided.” The local police filed an FIR against Salman Khurshid and Maria Alam Khan for violating Model Code of Conduct by seeking votes in the name of religion. The Congress-SP alliance in Uttar Pradesh is dependent on Muslim and Yadav vote banks and both Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav feel that if their candidates manage to get full support from Muslim voters, they can give a strong fight to BJP in several constituencies. One need not be an expert to find out what Muslim voters presently think and whom they vote for. Muslim voters in UP know that they get free ration daily, law and order situation has improved, police does not harass them unnecessarily, and those wearing kurtas (local leaders) do not engage in extortion. Moreover, roads and houses have been built and they are living a peaceful life, but at the time of polling, most of the Muslim voters say they have voted for ‘Cycle’ symbol (belonging to SP). But a change has now come. There are some people in Muslim community who think they must change too, after getting so many social welfare benefits. Some Muslim leaders fear their vote bank might break, and this could be the reason why the phrase ‘Vote Jihad’ has been coined. Muslims are being told that their identity will be in danger if BJP returns to power again. On the other hand, BJP leadership, after finding that the opposition is banking on Muslim voters, has started focussing on Hindu voters, not only in UP, but even in states like Bengal, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged on Tuesday that Mamata Banerjee’s government is illegally settling Bangladeshis in order to reduce Hindus to a minority.
चुनाव में फेक वीडियो : एक खतरनाक खेल
लोकसभा चुनाव में डीप फेक और फेक वीडियो की भी एंट्री हो गई. दिल्ली में केस दर्ज हुआ. दिल्ली की पुलिस तेलंगाना तक पहुंच गई. तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री को पूछताछ के लिए दिल्ली बुलाया गया. रेवंत रेड्डी के फोन की जांच भी होगी. इस मामले में असम से कांग्रेस से एक कांग्रेस समर्थक की गिरफ्तारी हुई है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने भी चुनाव में डीप फेक के इस्तेमाल पर चिंता जताई. लोगों से सावधान रहने को कहा. IT मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव की अगुआई मे बीजेपी का प्रतिनिधिमंडल चुनाव आयोग से मिला. इस वीडियो को फैलाने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की. कांग्रेस के नेता अब इस मामले में सफाई देते घूम रहे हैं. असल में हुआ ये कि गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने तमिलनाडु की एक चुनाव रैली में कहा कि तीसरी बार केन्द्र में बीजेपी की सरकार आएगी तो जहां जहां असंवैधानिक तौर पर मुस्लिम आरक्षण लागू है, उसे खत्म किया जाएगा. लेकिन उनके वीडियो की editing की गई. ‘मुस्लिम’ शब्द हटाकर ‘दलित आदिवासी’ जोड़ दिया गया. यानि अमित शाह को ये कहते हुए दिखाया गया कि बीजेपी की सरकार आएगी तो असंवैधानिक तौर पर लागू दलित, पिछड़े और आदिवासियों का आरक्षण तुंरत खत्म कर देगी. चूंकि आवाज अमित शाह की थी, एडीटिंग इतनी सफाई से की गई कि किसी भी सुनने वाले को लगेगा कि अमित शाह ने यही कहा कि बीजेपी की सरकार आरक्षण को खत्म करेगी. इस वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया के कई प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर खूब वायरल किया गया. इसके बाद बीजेपी हरकत में आई, पुलिस एक्शन भी हुआ, चुनाव आयोग से शिकायत भी हुई, बड़े-बड़े नेताओं ने कैंपेन के दौरान इसकी हकीकत बताई लेकिन सवाल ये है कि आखिर इस वीडियो का तेलंगाना से क्या कनैक्शन है? चूंकि अमित शाह का ये वीडियो तेलंगाना में कांग्रेस की स्टेट यूनिट के ऑफिशियल हैंडल से X पर पोस्ट किया गया, इसलिए दिल्ली पुलिस की टीम हैदराबाद में कांग्रेस दफ्तर में पहुंची. तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री रेवंत रेड्डी प्रदेश कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष भी हैं. इसलिए दिल्ली पुलिस ने रेवंत रेड्डी को पूछताछ के लिए नोटिस भेजा है. रेवंत रेड्डी के अलावा तेलंगाना कांग्रेस के नेता सतीश, नवीन, शिवाशंकर और अस्मा तस्लीम को भी नोटिस भेजा गया है. इन सभी लोगों से अपने मोबाइल और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक गजेट्स साथ लाने को कहा गया है. इन पर आईटी एक्ट और सामाजिक सौहार्द बिगाड़ने और समाज मे विद्वेष फैलाने की कोशिश की धाराओं के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया है. जिस वक्त दिल्ली पुलिस ने तेलंगाना कांग्रेस के नेताओं को नोटिस सर्व किया उस वक्त रेवंत रेड्डी कर्नाटक के कलबुर्गी में प्रियंका गांधी की एक चुनावी सभा में थे. रेवंत रेड्डी ने कहा कि बीजेपी अब तक चुनाव में ED, CBI और Income Tax का ही इस्तेमाल कर रही थी, लेकिन अब इस सूची में दिल्ली पुलिस का नाम भी जुड़ गय़ा है. रेवंत रेड्डी ने कहा कि चुनाव में हार के डर से बीजेपी ये सब करवा रही है. मंगलवार को अमित साह ने गुवाहाटी में एक प्रेस कांफ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए आरोप लगाया कि उनके भाषण का फेल वीडियो बनवाने में कांग्रेस का हाथ है. उन्होने कहा कि जिन लोगों ने भी ये हरकत की कि उनके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी. उधर, महाराष्ट्र के सतारा और कर्नाटक के बागलकोट में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रैलियों को संबोधित करते हुए लोगों को आगाह किया कि एक बहुत बड़ी साज़िश पर काम हो रहा है ताकि Artificial Intelligence, Deepfake के जरिए नकली वीडियो बना कर लोगों को गुमराह किया जाय और समाज में वैमनस्य को बढावा दिया जाय. मोदी ने कहा कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटैलीजेंस और सोशल मीडिया के जमाने में जो इसका दुरूपयोग कर रहे हैं, जो समाज को भड़काने और आग लगाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, उनसे सावधान रहने की जरूरत है. मोदी ने कहा कि पुलिस तो इस तरह की हरकत करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई कर रही है लेकिन उन्हें उम्मीद है कि चुनाव आयोग भी इस मामले को गंभीरता से लेगा. टैक्नोलॉजी के ज़माने में असली नकली में फर्क करना मुश्किल है. नेता वही, आवाज़ वही, हाव-भाव वही, लेकिन शब्द नकली. ये फिल्मों और टीवी सीरियल्स में हो, तो बात समझ में आती है लेकिन जब चुनाव के दौरान नेताओं के ऐसा बोलते हुए दिखाया जाए, जो उन्होंने कहा ही नहीं हैं, तो बहुत मुश्किल हो जाएगी. आजकल हर हाथ में मोबाइल है. सबके फोन में व्हाटसैप, ट्विटर, फेसबुक, यूट्यूब जैसे तमाम सोशल मीडिया एप हैं. एक नकली वीडियो कुछ ही सेकेन्ड में लाखों लोगों तक पहुंच जाता है और लोग इस सच मानकर forward कर देते हैं. इसलिए ये भयानक खेल है. लोकतन्त्र के लिहाज़ से खतरनाक खेल हैं. चूंकि लोगों के पास वीडियो की असलियत को जानने का तो कोई ज़रिया नहीं हैं, इसलिए कम से कम आप इतना कर सकते हैं कि बिना सोचे समझे किसी वीडियो को forward न करें, वरना मुसीबत में पड़ सकते हैं क्योंकि IT एक्ट बहुत सख्त हैं. अगर आप किसी गलत वीडियो को पोस्ट करते हैं या फॉरवर्ड करते हैं तो जेल जा सकते हैं. इसीलिए मोदी ने कहा कि सावधान रहिए. जहां तक विरोधी दलों के नेताओं का सवाल है, तो ये साफ हो गया कि अमित शाह का नकली वीडियो जानबूझ कर सोची समझी रणनीति के तहत फैलाया गया क्योंकि जैसे ही वीडियो वायरल हुआ, उसके बाद गुजरात से लेकर उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार तक कांग्रेस, समाजवादी पार्टी और RJD के नेताओं ने रैलियों में कहना शुरू कर दिया कि बीजेपी ने दलितों, पिछड़ों और आदिवासियों के आरक्षण को खत्म करने की तैयारी कर ली है. अगर मोदी तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बने तो आरक्षण खत्म हो जाएगा. गुजरात के पाटन में राहुल गांधी ने एक रैली में कहा कि बीजेपी के नेता कहते हैं कि वो किसी कीमत पर आरक्षण खत्म नहीं करेंगे, लेकिन हकीकत ये है कि बीजेपी के लोग संविधान और आरक्षण को खत्म करना चाहते हैं, इसीलिए वो सरकारी नौकरियां खत्म कर रहे हैं, निजीकरण को बढावा दे रहे हैं क्योंकि निजी क्षेत्र में आरक्षण लागू नहीं होता. समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने आगरा और एटा की रैलियों में कहा कि बीजेपी के लोग आरक्षण के घोर विरोधी हैं. वो संघ के इशारे पर धीरे धीरे आरक्षण को ख़त्म करते जा रहे हैं. बिहार के सारण में अपनी बेटी रोहिणी आचार्य का प्रचार करने पहुंचे लालू प्रसाद यादव ने भी कहा कि अब लड़ाई सरकार बनाने की नहीं, संविधान और आरक्षण को बचाने की है. लालू ने कहा कि संविधान को बचाने के लिए ही सारे दल इकट्ठा हुए हैं और सब मिलकर बीजेपी को हराएंगे. इसके बाद लालू ने अपने चिर परिचित अंदाज़ में भोजपुरी गीत गुनगुनाते हुए कहा कि बीजेपी को जनता ऐसा धक्का लगाएगी कि वो सत्ता से हट जाएंगे. विरोधी दलों के नेताओं के आरोपों का जवाब प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने दिया. मोदी ने महाराष्ट्र के सोलापुर की रैली में कहा कि वो तो क्या, बाबा साहब अंबेडकर भी अब आरक्षण को खत्म नहीं कर सकते. इसलिए विरोधी दलों के नेता जो झूठ फैला रहे हैं, उस पर यकीन करने की जरूरत नहीं हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस और विपक्षी गठबंधन के लोगों को अपनी हार साफ दिख रही है, इसलिए वो परेशान हैं और अब लोगों के बीच झूठ फैलाने में जुट गए हैं और कह रहे हैं कि मोदी सरकार आरक्षण खत्म कर देगी.मोदी ने कहा कि जब तक मैं जिंदा हूं मैं आरक्षण को खत्म नहीं होने दूंगा. इस चुनाव में कांग्रेस की कोशिश है कि किसी तरह बीजेपी पर ये बात चिपका दी जाए कि मोदी और उन की पार्टी आरक्षण विरोधी है. अमित शाह का फेक वीडियो , राहुल और लालू के बयान इसी सोची समझी नीति का हिस्सा हैं. लेकिन आजकल लोग काफी जागरूक हैं. सब समझते हैं कि doctored वीडियो क्या होते हैं, कैसे तैयार किए जाते हैं. लोग ये भी जानते हैं कि जहां तक आरक्षण का सवाल है, आज के ज़माने में कौन इसे हटाने की बात कहेगा? न कोई आरक्षण हटा सकता है, न कोई इसके बारे में सोच सकता है. और ये कोई आखिरी चुनाव तो है नहीं. बीजेपी को आगे भी चुनाव लड़ने हैं. आगे भी सरकारें बनानी है. आगे भी पार्टी चलानी है. इसीलिए ये नैरेटिव बिलकुल बेकार है कि मोदी आरक्षण को खत्म करना चाहते हैं. इस बात की शुरुआत लालू यादव ने की थी. राहुल गांधी ने भी यही बात बड़ी चालाकी से फैलाने की कोशिश की. इसको 400 पार के नारे से जोड़ा. ये कहा कि मोदी इसीलिए 400 सीटें चाहते हैं ताकि आरक्षण खत्म कर दें. इस बात पर कोई यकीन नहीं करेगा. पहली बात तो ये है कि मोदी को यहीं रहना है. इसी देश में रहना है. यहीं चुनाव लड़ने हैं. और दूसरी बात ये कि OBC, दलित, SC-ST को लेकर मोदी का पिछले 23 साल का ट्रैक रिकॉर्ड बिलकुल साफ है. अब मोदी ने ये कहकर पलटवार किया है कि कांग्रेस ओबीसी का कोटा काटकर मुसलमानों को आरक्षण देना चाहती है. चुनाव के मैदान में इस तरह के आरोप प्रत्यारोप लगते रहते हैं. बहस भी होती है. लेकिन फेक वीडियो बनाना, लोगों को गुमराह करना, ये अपराध है. इसीलिए ऐसा करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए. न सिर्फ ऐसा करने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए, इस बात की गहराई में भी जाना चाहिए कि ऐसा वीडियो किसने बनवाया और झूठ किसने फैलाया? वैसे तो मैं मानता हूं कि ‘ये पब्लिक है, सब जानती है’.
FAKE VIDEOS IN POLLS : A DANGEROUS GAME
DeepFake and fake videos made their entry into Lok Sabha elections on Monday, with Delhi Police filing a case of “doctoring” a video of Home Minister Amit Shah’s speech, and a Delhi Police team landed in Hyderabad for probe. The Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy was summoned by Delhi Police for questioning, while a Congress “war room” coordinator was arrested in faraway Assam. Two persons were arrested by Ahmedabad Police cyber crime wing on Tuesday, and one of them Satish Vansola is the personal assistant of Congress leader Jignesh Mevani. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep concern over use of DeepFake technology in elections and appealed to people to remain alert and not to forward unconfirmed videos on social media handles. A BJP delegation led by Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw met the Election Commission demanding action against those who “doctored” Amit Shah’s speech. On Tuesday, Amit Shah, addressing a press conference in Guwahati, blamed the Congress for preparing a fake video of his speech. “Their frustration has reached such a level that they have spread fake videos about me. Their chief minister, state president have forwarded this fake video, and now one of them is facing a criminal offence”. Amit Shah played both the real video of his speech and the doctored video before the media. While in the real video, Shah was shown as saying ‘reservation given to minorities unconstitutionally would be removed’, the fake video shows him as saying that ‘reservation for SC, ST and backward castes given unconstitutionally would be removed’. Since the doctored video was posted on the official X handle of Telangana Congress state unit, the Delhi Police team landed in Hyderabad and started checking electronic devices. Apart from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, state Congress leaders Satheeh, Naveen, Shivashankar and Asma Taslim have also been served notices. All these persons have been asked to bring their cellphones and electronic gadgets for probe. A case under provisions relating to spreading communal disharmony has been filed under IPC and the Information Technology Act. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alleged that BJP was now trying to use Delhi Police after from ED, CBI, and Income Tax to target opposition leaders. Revanth Reddy has been summoned by police not in his capacity as chief minister, but as president of state Congress unit. On Monday, in his election rallies in Bagalkote, Karnataka and Satara, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned of “a deep conspiracy” to spread tension during the elections by faking his voice and those of Amit Shah, J P Nadda and other leaders, with the help of Artificial Intelligence, to spread lies and light fire in society. Differentiating the real from the fake has now become very difficult in this age of Artificial Intelligence. One can understand imitation of voices of leaders in films and TV serials, but putting words in the mouths of leaders addressing huge election meetings, is a dangerous game. Almost every Indian today carries a cellphone, linked with WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. One fake, deepfake or doctored video can reach millions of people within seconds. People who get these fake videos on their phone, immediately forward them to their friends and WhatsApp groups, believing them to be true. This is a dangerous game for our vibrant democracy. People do not have the tools to check whether a video is true or fake. The least you can do is not to forward such fake videos, otherwise you and your friends may land in trouble. The Information Technology Act is quite stringent on this point. If you post or forward a fake video, you can land in jail. That is why Modi alerted people to remain cautious. As far as opposition leaders are concerned, it has become quite clear that Amit Shah’s speech video was doctored as part of a well-thought-out strategy. The moment the fake video went viral, Congress, Samajwadi Party and RJD leaders in UP, Bihar and Gujarat, started alleging that BJP has planned to amend the Constitution to end reservations for Dalits, tribals and backward castes. Their message was quite clear: caste-based reservation would end if Modi becomes PM for the third time. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi repeated this charge in his Monday rally in Patan, Gujarat. The same charge was repeated by SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav in his rallies in Agra and Etah, where he alleged that BJP, at the instance of RSS, wants to finish off caste-based reservation. RJD founder Lalu Prasad Yadav, campaigning for his daughter Rohini Acharya in Saran, Bihar, said the battle this time is not about formation of government, but for saving the Constitution and reservation. It was left to PM Modi to tell people in his rallies that ending reservation was out of the question and that he would protect reservation for Dalits, tribals and backward castes till his last breath. The Congress-led opposition is desperately trying to affix the label of “anti-reservation” on Modi and BJP this time. The circulation of Amit Shah’s fake video, and speeches of Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad seem to be part of that calculated campaign. But people nowadays are quite aware. They know when a doctored video lands on their phone. They also know that no force in India can remove reservation, at any cost. They also know that this is not the “last election” as is being spread by the opposition. It was first floated by Lalu yadav, and Rahul Gandhi quite cleverly linked the “400 Paar” slogan of BJP with this charge, to say that Modi wants 400 LS seats in order to end reservation in Constitution. Nobody is going to believe this. Firstly, Modi has to stay in India, fight elections, Secondly, Modi’s track record during the last 23 years on the issue of OBC, Dalit, tribals has been quite clean. Modi has now counter-attacked. He has started alleging that the Congress wants to reduce OBC quota and give some of it to Muslims. Allegations and counter-allegations do take place during election, but preparing ‘doctored’ fake videos and spreading them in order to mislead voters and create disharmony is a crime. Strong action must be taken against such conspirators. Action must be taken not only against those who doctored the video, but it must be found out who ordered the ‘doctoring’ of this video and circulated it.
