Cocaine Kingpin’s Connection in Question
Congress party had to face a big embarassment on the last day of campaigning in Haryana assembly elections. BJP alleged that the kingpin in the Rs 5,600 crore cocaine seizure case, Tushar Goyal, arrested by Delhi Police on Wednesday, was appointed by Rahul Gandhi as the Delhi Youth Congress RTI Cell chief, and he had links with top Haryana Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s family. Congress swiftly reacted saying that Tushar Goyal was expelled from the party in 2022 because of “anti-party activities” and he was not connected with the Congress in any capacity any more. Delhi Police on Wednesday had seized more than 500 kg of cocaine of international quality from a godown owned by Tushar Goyal.
The seized cocaine was meant to be distributed in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra and other states. Police is trying to connect the links as to how cocaine reached the National Capital Region from different sea routes. BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi demanded, Congress should explain its “connections” with the drugs supplier. He also released pictures of Tushar Goyal with senior Congress leaders including Deepender Hooda, K. C. Venugopal and others. He demanded a probe into whether drugs money was used in the Haryana elections.
Tushar Goyal’s partner Himanshu and his driver Aurangzeb have also been arrested by police. Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Hooda said, allegations cannot be levelled merely on the basis of photographs because political leaders meet many people every day. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his Haryana rally connected the drugs issue with the seizure of several thousands crores worth drugs at Adani’s Mundhra port several years ago. He made no mention about the latest seizure by Delhi Police. The seizure of Rs 5,600 crore worth drugs by Delhi Police is, in itself a serious issue. The issue of “connection” of the drug supplier with Congress is even more serious. Congress leaders have admitted that Tushar Goyal was in the party for nearly 20 years. Cocaine and other drugs are widely used in New Year parties across India and this stock was meant for this occasion. I find Rahul Gandhi’s reaction surprising. He connected the drug seizure issue with Adani and alleged that Adani’s ports are being used as conduits for drugs trade, but PM Narendra Modi is silent. Rahul Gandhi did not say a word about the Rs 5,600 crore cocaine seizure in Delhi, nor did he react to pictures of Tushar Goyal with his closest confidante K.C.Venugopal. Rahul did not explain about Goyal’s Congress connections till two years ago. This necessarily creates doubts in the minds of public.
Either Rahul Gandhi should have avoided mentioning the issue of drugs or he should have explained about his party’s connection with a top drugs trader. BJP leaders are now making snide comments, saying, at least Rahul should have asked his Tushar Goyal about how drugs find their way to India. Congress party cannot wash off its hands from this issue by saying that Tushar Goyal was expelled from the party two years ago. The seizure of this huge consignment of drugs two days before the Haryana elections, pictures of the drugs trader with Congress MP Deepnder Hooda, police finding Deepender Hooda’s phone number from Tushar Goyal’s cellphone, can cause big damage to the prospects of Congress in Haryana elections. Congress party’s allegation that the drugs issue has been raised to affect the party’s prospects in Haryana elections, does not hold water. Had the police found any connection of the drugs trader with any BJP leader, Congress would have raised a similar hue and cry. In today’s world dominated by social media, a minor matter like a leader’s photograph with an accused, can become a big issue during elections. The seizure of more than 500 kg cocaine worth Rs 5,600 crore is, in itself, a big issue. This should not be seen only in the context of Haryana elections. This issue is going to reverberate in the corridors of Indian politics for a long time.

हरियाणा में चुनाव प्रचार के आखिरी दिन कांग्रेस को बड़ी परेशानी झेलनी पड़ी. दिल्ली में पकड़ी गई 5600 करोड़ रूपए की ड्रग्स के केस में जिस ड्रग कारोबार तुषार गोयल को पुलिस ने पकड़ा है, उसका कनेक्शन कांग्रेस से निकला. पुलिस ने बुधवार को दिल्ली में पांच सौ किलो से ज्यादा कोकेन बरामद की थी. तुषार गोयल को राहुल गांधी ने यूथ कांग्रेस के RTI सेल का दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया था. जो कोकेन तुषार गोयल की निशानदेही पर बरामद किया गया, वो पंजाब, हरियाणा, महाराष्ट्र और दूसरे राज्यों में सप्लाई किया जाना था. अब पुलिस इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि इतनी भारी मात्रा में इंटरनेशनल क्वालिटी की कोकेन तुषार गोयल ने किन-किन देशों से मंगवाई, ड्रग्स किस रूट से दिल्ली तक पहुंचा, इस रेकेट में और कौन-कौन लोग शामिल हैं .पुलिस सारी कड़ियां जोड़ने में लगी है. पुलिस ने अब तक इस मामले में कुल चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है लेकिन चूंकि तुषार गोयल का कनेक्शन कांग्रेस से जुड़ा था, इसलिए बीजेपी ने इसको लेकर राहुल गांधी से सवाल पूछे. सुधांशु त्रिवेदी ने तुषार गोयल की कांग्रेस के नेताओं दीपेंदर हुड्डा, के.सी.वेणुगोपाल के साथ खिंची तस्वीरें जारी की. ये भी दावा किया कि तुषार गोयल के फोन से कांग्रेस के सांसद दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा का मोबाइल नंबर भी मिला है.. दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा के साथ उसकी बहुत सारी पिक्चर्स भी हैं. सुधांशु त्रिवेदी ने पूछा कि अब कांग्रेस बताए कि ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है. वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता भूपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि नेताओं के साथ फोटो तो कोई भी खिंचवा लेता है, नेता सबका बैकग्राउंड थोड़े चेक करते हैं? भूपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि आरोपी की फोटो तो बीजेपी के नेता अनिल जैन के साथ भी है, उस पर बीजेपी क्या कहेगी? दिल्ली में 5600 करोड़ रु. की ड्रग्स का पकड़ा जाना एक गंभीर मसला है . इसके सप्लायर का कांग्रेस से कनेक्शन मिलना और भी गंभीर बात है. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने माना कि ड्रग सप्लायर तुषार गोयल 20 साल तक कांग्रेस में रहा, पर ड्रग्स का ये मामला वाकई में बहुत बड़ा है. जाहिर है New Year के मौके पर होने वाली पार्टियों के लिए सप्लाई मंगाई गई होगी पर इस मामले में राहुल गांधी की प्रतिक्रिया ने. राहुल गांधी ने ड्रग्स का मुद्दा उठाया, लेकिन ड्रग्स के मुद्दे को अडानी से जोड़ा. ये भी कहा कि अडानी के पोर्ट्स से देश में ड्रग्स की सप्लाई हो रही है, नरेन्द्र मोदी कुछ नहीं करते, लेकिन दिल्ली में 5600 करोड़ रु. की ड्रग्स मिलने का जिक्र तक नहीं किया. अपने करीबी के . सी. वेणुगोपाल की ड्रग्स सप्लायर के साथ तस्वीरों का जवाब भी नहीं दिया. तुषार गोयल के दो साल पहले तक के कांग्रेस कनेक्शन पर भी कोई सफाई नहीं दी.ये बातें शक पैदा करती हैं. राहुल गांधी या तो ड्रग्स का जिक्र ही ना करते और अगर किया था तो जो आरोप लगे हैं, उनका जवाब देते. अब बीजेपी के नेता कह रहे हैं कि राहुल गांधी अपनी पार्टी के नेता तुषार गोयल से ही पूछ लेते कि वो किस रास्ते से पांच सौ किलो ड्रग दिल्ली तक लाया. कांग्रेस सिर्फ ये कहकर पीछा नहीं छुड़ा ती कि तुषार गोयल को तो दो साल पहले पार्टी से निकाल दिया था. हरियाणा में वोटिंग से दो दिन पहले तुषार गोयल का पकड़ा जाना, दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा के साथ उसकी तस्वीरें और उसके मोबाइल में दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा का नंबर मिलना, कांग्रेस को नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है. कांग्रेस की ये सफाई किसी काम की नहीं है कि बीजेपी ने हरियाणा चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के लिए ये मामला उठाया. अगर कांग्रेस को बीजेपी के किसी नेता का ऐसा कनेक्शन मिल जाता तो वो भी इतना ही शोर मचाती. अगर उसे बीजेपी नेताओं की ऐसी तस्वीरें मिल जाती, तो वो भी उन्हें हवा में लहराती.आजकल तो छोटी-छोटी बातें चुनाव में बड़ा मुद्दा बन जाती हैं. लेकिन 5600 करोड़ की ड्रग्स की सप्लाई, 500 किलो कोकेन बहुत बड़ा मुद्दा है. इसे सिर्फ हरियाणा चुनाव से जोड़कर नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए. इस मामले की गूंज कई दिन तक सुनाई देगी.
प्रशांत किशोर की नई पार्टी : मैदान में सामने आकर लड़ो
गांधी जयंती 2 अक्टूबर को प्रशान्त किशोर औपचारिक रूप से पॉलिटिकल स्ट्रैटजिस्ट से नेता बन गए. प्रशान्त किशोर ने अपनी नई पार्टी बना ली. पार्टी का नाम है, जनसुराज पार्टी. पटना के वेटेरिनरी कॉलंज ग्राउंड में पूरे बिहार से पचास हजार से ज्यादा लोग जुटे. प्रशान्त किशोर ने एलान किया कि उनकी पार्टी न तो वामपंथी, और न ही दक्षिणपंथी विचारधारा अपनाएगी, वो सिर्फ इंसानियत की राह पर चलेगी, बिहार को नंबर वन राज्य बनाएंगे, बिहारियों के सम्मान के लिए काम करेंगे. पार्टी के झंडे पर बापू और बाबा साहब दोनों की फोटो होगी. प्रशान्त किशोर ने कहा कि अगर बिहार में उनकी पार्टी की सरकार बनती है तो एक घंटे के भीतर शराबबंदी को हटा देंगे, शराब से जो पैसा टैक्स के तौर पर मिलेगा, उससे स्कूल बनवाएंगे, बच्चों को पढ़ाएंगे क्योंकि अच्छी शिक्षा ही सारी परेशानियों से निजात दिला सकती है. प्रशान्त किशोर न पार्टी के अध्यक्ष होंगे, न मुख्यमंत्री पद के दावेदार. रिटायर्ड IFS अधिकारी मनोज भारती जनसुराज पार्टी के कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष होंगे. प्रशान्त किशोर की पार्टी के सभी बड़े फैसले नेतृत्व परिषद करेगी. दो साल पहले 2 अक्टूबर को प्रशांत किशोर ने चंपारण से जनसुराज यात्रा की शुरूआत की थी. 2 साल में उनकी यात्रा बिहार के साढ़े 5 हजार गांवों में गई, 17 जिलों में घूम कर प्रशांत किशोर ने लोगों को अपने साथ जोड़ा. इसके बाद जनसुराज पार्टी का एलान किया. जनसुराज पार्टी बिहार के अगले इलेक्शन में सभी 242 सीटों पर उम्मीदवार उतारेगी. मंच पर प्रशांत किशोर के साथ पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री देवेंद्र यादव, पूर्व सांसद मुनाज़िर हसन, पूर्व एमएलसी रामबली चंद्रवंशी, कर्पूरी ठाकुर की पोती जागृति ठाकुर, मनोज भारती भी मौजूद थे.

प्रशान्त किशोर के मैदान में उतरने से बिहार की राजनीतिक पार्टियों में हलचल है. सबकी नजर प्रशान्त किशोर की रणनीति पर है. JD-U के महासचिव अशोक चौधरी ने कहा कि प्रशांत किशोर पहले पैसा लेकर चुनाव लड़वाते थे और अब पैसा बनाने के लिए खुद चुनाव लड़ेंगे. केन्द्रीय मंत्री और LJP अध्यक्ष चिराग पासवान ने कहा, चुनाव कोई भी लड़ सकता है, लेकिन फैसला तो जनता करती है. लालू यादव की बेटी मीसा भारती ने प्रशान्त किशोर की पार्टी को बीजेपी की बी टीम बता दिया. बीजेपी, आरजेडी और जेडीयू के नेताओं की बात सुनकर एक बात तो साफ दिख रही है कि प्रशान्त किशोर की एंट्री से सब परेशान हैं. प्रशान्त किशोर राजनीति में नया नाम नहीं है, लेकिन नेता के तौर पर नए हैं. वह अचानक राजनीति में नहीं कूदे हैं. दो साल तक बिहार के गांव-गांव की खाक छानने के बाद मैदान में उतरे हैं, इसलिए उन्हें जनता की नब्ज़ पता है, उनका विजन स्पष्ट है, उन्हें रास्ता भी पता है, लक्ष्य भी है. प्रशान्त किशोर ने पार्टी बनाई, अच्छा किया. बिहार को एक नई सोच की जरूरत है. साफ और सच्ची बात कहने वाले लीडर की आवश्यकता है. प्रशांत किशोर ने जिस तरह से पार्टी में फैसले लेने की और उम्मीदवारों के चयन की प्रक्रिया तैयार की है, वो भी इंप्रैसिव है. मैं उनकी बस एक ही बात से सहमत नहीं हूं. प्रशांत किशोर का ये कहना कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री नहीं बनूंगा सही विचार नहीं है. अगर वह वाकई में बिहार और बिहारियों को उनका हक दिलाने के लिए लड़ना चाहते हैं, तो उन्हें front foot पर आकर खेलना होगा ,राजनीति में non playing captain की कोई जगह नहीं होती. ये कहने से काम नहीं चलेगा कि मैं नहीं बनूंगा, पार्टी किसी और को चुनेगी, मैं तो फिर से पैदल चलूंगा, इससे बिहार के लोगों के मन में भ्रम पैदा होगा. प्रशांत किशोर को बिहार की जनता के सामने साफ विकल्प देना चाहिए. अपने आप को मुख्यमंत्री पद का उम्मीदवार घोषित करना चाहिए. लोगों के सामने स्पष्ट विकल्प हो कि वो प्रशांत किशोर को अपना नेता मानते हैं या नहीं, उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर देखना चाहते हैं या नहीं. पिछले दो साल में जहां जहां प्रशांत किशोर गए हैं, लोगों ने उनकी बात सुनी है, उन पर भरोसा किया है. उन्हें जन सुराज के नेता के तौर पर देखा है. इसलिए कोई और नेता कैसे हो सकता है? प्रशांत किशोर के पास जिम्मेदारी से पीछे हटने का ऑप्शन नहीं है. वह जन सुराज का फेस हैं और ये फैसला बिहार की जनता करेगी कि वो इस face को पसंद करती है या नहीं.
Prashant Kishor’s new party: He should lead it from the front
Political strategist Prashant Kishor formally became a ‘neta’ on October 2, when he launched his Jan Suraj Party in Patna. More than 50,000 people from all over Bihar attended his meeting. Prashant Kishor declared his party would follow neither the Left nor the Right path, but will tread the “humanist path”. His party flag will bear the pictures of Gandhi and Ambedkar. Prashant Kishor promised to remove prohibition in Bihar within one hour if his party comes to power. Retired Indian Foreign Service officer Manoj Bharti will serve as the party’s working president and all decisions will be taken at the ‘Leadership Council’. Present on the dais were former Union Minister Devendra Yadav, former MP Monazir Hassan, Karpoori Thakur’s granddaughter Jagriti Thakur, former IPS officer from Assam Anand Mishra and others. Most of the leaders in Jan Suraaj Party have no political background, but Prashant Kishor promises to make Bihar the No.1 state in India.
RJD leader Misa Bharti described Prashant Kishor’s party as the “B team of BJP’. Going through the reactions of BJP, RJD and JD-U leaders, one thing is clear: all these parties are worried after Prashant Kishor’s entry into politics. Prashant Kishore is not a new name in Indian politics, but as a political leader, his avatar is a new one. For two years, he visited nearly six thousand villages in Bihar before launching his new party. He can feel the pulse of the people and his vision is clear. He knows the path that he has charted, and he is clear about his aim. Bihar needs a party with a new outlook, a leader who can call a spade, a spade. The selection process for candidates and the process of decision making in the new party are quite impressive. I only disagree on one point. Prashant Kishor has clearly said, he is not going to become the chief minister. I think, this is not a correct idea.
If Prashant Kishor really wants to fight to give the people of Bihar their due rights, he must come forward and play on the front foot. There is no place for a ‘non-playing captain’ in politics. There is no point saying, ‘I won’t become the CM, the party will elect somebody else, I will undertake padyatra again’. These remarks are going to create confusion in the minds of voters. Prashant Kishor must place clear options before the people of Bihar. He must declare himself the chiefministerial candidate. Let people get a clear choice whether they want to opt for Prashant Kishor as their leader and chief minister or not. For the last two years, the villagers of Bihar listened to Prashant Kishor’s speeches. Many of them reposed their trust in him as a leader of Jan Suraj Party. How can there be another leader in his place? Prashant Kishor has no option to back out from his responsibility. He is the ‘face’ of Jan Suraj Party and the people of Bihar will decide whether they like this ‘face’ or not.
कश्मीर में वोट: शरणार्थियों का सपना पूरा हुआ
मैं पिछले 40 साल से जम्मू कश्मीर के चुनावों को देख रहा हूं. मंगलवार को पहली बार देखा, जम्मू कश्मीर में वोटिंग के दिन पोलिंग बूथ के बाहर ढोल नगाड़े बज रहे थे. पहली बार देखा कि लोग नाचते-गाते वोट डालने पहुंचे. पोलिंग के दिन ऐसी तस्वीरें जम्मू कश्मीर में पहले कभी दिखाई नहीं दी. मुझे याद है सिर्फ सात साल पहले, 2017 में, श्रीनगर लोकसभा सीट पर उपचुनाव था. फारूक़ अब्दुल्ला मैदान में थे. वोटर्स लिस्ट में 12 लाख 61 हजार 315 लोगों के नाम थे लेकिन पोलिंग बूथ तक सिर्फ सात प्रतिशत वोटर ही पहुंचे. फारूक़ अब्दुल्ला को कुल 48 हजार वोट मिले और वह जीत गए. लेकिन मंगलवार को उसी जम्मू कश्मीर में तीसरे चरण की वोटिंग में 65.65 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ. ये जम्मू कश्मीर में आए बदलाव का सबूत है. जो लोग बंटवारे के वक्त अपना सब कुछ छोड़कर जम्मू कश्मीर में जाकर बस गए थे, जिन्हें 75 साल तक “पश्चिमी पाकिस्तानी रिफ्यूजी” कहा जाता रहा. लेकिन ये लोग 1947 में जिस इलाके से आए थे, वो तो उस वक्त हिन्दुस्तान था. लेकिन फिर भी 22 हजार परिवारों को 75 साल तक अपने ही देश में शरणार्थी बनकर रहना पड़ा. 75 साल से आर्टिकल 370 के कारण पश्चिमी पाकिस्तानी शरणार्छियों, गोरखा समुदाय और वाल्मीकि समाज के लोगों को विधानसभा और संसद के चुनावों में वोट डालने का हक़ नहीं दिया गया. ये लोग केवल ब्लॉक विकास परिषद और जिला विकास परिषद के चुनावों में ही वोट डाल सकते थे. तीन-चार पीढ़ियां इस इंतजार में गुज़र गईं कि उन्हें एक-न-एक दिन भारतीय होने और कश्मीरी कहलाने का हक़ हासिल होगा. इस हक़ को आज उन्होंने अपनी उंगली पर लगी स्याही में महसूस किया. महिलाओं के चेहरे पर वोट डालने की खुशी, उनकी आंखों में प्रसन्नता के आंसू देखकर एहसास हुआ कि इन लोगों के लिए आर्टिकल 370 हटाए जाने का मतलब क्या है. आज हम उनकी खुशी का अंदाज़ा तो लगा सकते हैं, लेकिन उस दर्द को कभी महसूस नहीं कर पाएंगे जो उन्होंने आर्टिकिल 370 के कारण 75 साल तक झेला. आज इन लोगों को पहली बार वोट देने का हक़ मिला. इसीलिए पूरे परिवार ने शत प्रतिशत लोगों ने वोटिंग की और खुलकर कहा कि मोदी को वोट देंगे क्योंकि मोदी ने ही वोट देने का हक़ दिया है. इन लोगों में इस बात की नाराजगी है कि नेशनल कॉन्फ्रैंस फिर से आर्टिकल 370 को वापस लाने की कसम खा रही है और कांग्रेस उसका समर्थन कर रही है. इसी बात को बीजेपी ने चुनावी मुद्दा बनाया. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने हरियाणा की रैली में इसी मुद्दे को उठाते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस के नेता आर्टिकल 370 वापस लाने की बात तो चिल्ला-चिल्ला कर कह रहे हैं लेकिन कभी उनके मुंह से ये नहीं निकलता कि पाकिस्तान के कब्ज़े वाले कश्मीर को भी वापस लाना है.
Polling in Kashmir : Refugee dream realized after 75 years
I have been observing elections in Jammu and Kashmir for the last 40 years. For the first time, on Tuesday, I watched voters beating drums outside polling booths and dancing to drumbeats. Such a scene was never witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir in the past, during polling. Those celebrating the festival of democracy are termed by officials as ‘West Pakistani Refugees’. They got their voting rights for the first time in 75 years, after the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. West Pakistani Refugees, Valmiki Samaj and Gorkha community people were never given rights in the past to vote for Assembly or Parliamentary elections. They were entitled to vote only for Block Development Council and District Development Council elections. I remember, seven years ago in 2017, Dr Farooq Abdullah was contesting Lok Sabha elections from Srinagar. There were 12,61,315 names in the voters’ list, but only seven percent voters reached the polling booths. Dr Farooq Abdullah got only about 48,000 votes and won. Contrast this with the polling figures on Tuesday, when Jammu and Kashmir recorded 65.65 per cent voting in the third phase. This itself is indicative of a sea change that has come in Kashmir politics. During Partition, 75 years ago, those who had to leave their homes in West Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, and settle in Jammu and Kashmir, had to live as refugees in their own homeland, devoid of the right to cast their vote. For 75 years, there were being addressed as ‘Pakistani’. But these were people who had crossed over in 1947, when India was undivided before Partition. Nearly 22 thousand families had to live in their own homeland as ‘refugees’ for 75 years. More than three to four generations died without realizing their dream to be called a ‘Bharatiya’ or a ‘Kashmiri’ one day. On Tuesday, they looked ecstatic, having their fingers inked by polling officers before casting their precious vote. The tears of happiness on the faces of women cannot be described in words. These are people who realize the true meaning of abrogation of Article 370. We can only realize their level of happiness, but cannot gauge the magnitude of their pain. They had to bear the cross of ‘Article 370’ for 75 years. On Tuesday, there was hundred per cent polling among these families. They were openly saying they would vote for Modi, because the Prime Minister gave them their voting right. They are unhappy with National Conference which has promised to bring back Article 370 in its manifesto. Congress is in electoral alliance with National Conference in this election. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, rubbed wounds into the opposition, by telling an election rally in Haryana that Congress leaders have never spoken about reoccupying Pak Occupied Kashmir, even till this date.

पाकिस्तान ने आतंकवाद के मुद्दे पर भारत को फिर चिढ़ाने की कोशिश की. भारत में दहशतगर्दों की मदद करने वाला most wanted आरोपी, कट्टरपंथी इस्लामिक preacher ज़ाकिर नाइक को पाकिस्तान ने सरकारी मेहमान बनाया है. पाकिस्तान की हुकूमत के न्यौते पर ज़ाकिर नाइक अपने बेटे फ़ारिक़ नाइक के साथ तीन हफ़्ते के दौरे पर पाकिस्तान पहुंचा. पाकिस्तान में ज़ाकिर नाइक कराची, लाहौर और इस्लामाबाद में तक़रीरें करेगा. तीनों शहरों में उसके दो-दो दिन के प्रोग्राम हैं. पाकिस्तान के शहरों में नाइक लोगों को इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथ की सीख देगा . ज़ाकिर नाइक के ख़िलाफ़ मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग और टेरर फंडिंग के केस चल रहे हैं. इसके अलावा ज़ाकिर नाइक पर नफरत फैलाने वाले भाषण देने और भारत में सांप्रदायिकता भड़काने का भी इल्ज़ाम है. जब उसके ख़िलाफ़ मुक़दमे दर्ज हुए, तब ज़ाकिर नाइक भारत से भागकर मलेशिया चला गया था. भारत ने नाइक के प्रत्यर्पण की मांग की है. अब भारत के मोस्ट वांटेड को शहबाज़ शरीफ़ की हुकूमत ने पाकिस्तान आने का न्यौता दिया. पाकिस्तान में भी इस पर बहस छिड़ गई है कि क्या पाकिस्तान को, ऐसे शख़्स को अपने यहां बुलाना चाहिए था. डिफेंस एक्सपर्ट क़मर चीमा ने कहा कि ज़ाकिर नाइक एक चालाक मुल्ला है, जो सूट और टाई पहनकर तबलीग करता है, यानी गैर-मुसलमानों को मुसलमान बनाने की कोशिश करता है. क़मर चीमा ने कहा कि ज़ाकिर नाइक असल में अपने बेटे को लॉन्च करने के लिए पाकिस्तान आया है. पाकिस्तान के पढ़े लिखे लोग एक कट्टरपंथी को दावत देने पर अपनी हुकूमत से नाराज़ हैं. पाकिस्तान के मशहूर बैरिस्टर हामिद बाशानी ने कहा कि दुनिया वैज्ञानिकों को बुलाती है, कृषि मामलों के जानकारों को बुलाती है, अर्थशास्त्रियों को बुलाती है जिससे देश का भला हो. लेकिन, पाकिस्तान की हुकूमत एक मुल्ला को बुलाकर ये जता रही है कि उसे मुल्क की नहीं, मज़हब की फ़िक्र ज़्यादा है. ज़ाकिर नाइक अपने आप को मुसलमानों का मायती कहता है. मुसलमानों का हमदर्द होने का दावा करता है, उनको रास्ता दिखाने की जिम्मेदारी लेता है पर उसकी सीख कैसी होती है. इसका एक वीडियो मैंने देखा है. जाकिर नाइक से किसी ने सवाल किया कि भारत में ऐसे बहुत सारे लोग हैं जो मुसलमान नहीं हैं पर मीडिया में मुसलमानों की हिमायत करते हैं, तो क्या ऐसे लोगों को मौत के बाद जन्नत नसीब होगी? जवाब में जाकिर नाइक ने समझाया कि जन्नत के कितने लेवल होते हैं, किस किस को जन्नत मिलती है, फिर बताया कि चाहे मुसलमानों को कोई कितना भी समर्थन कर ले, उसे जन्नत तब तक नसीब नहीं होगी, जब तक वो इस्लाम कबूल न कर ले, मुसलमान न बन जाए. अब जिसकी सोच ऐसी हो, वो चाहे पाकिस्तान में रहे या मलेशिया में, वो सिर्फ नफरत फैलाएगा. जाकिर नाइक हमारे देश का दुश्मन है और अब पाकिस्तान जाकर उसकी हिम्मत और बढ़ेगी.
Zakir Naik in Pakistan : What’s the game?
In a move aimed at irking India on the issue of terrorism, Pakistan accorded a state welcome to fundamentalist Islamic preacher Zakir Naik after he arrived on a three week-long visit. Zakir Naik is one of India’s most wanted extremists facing charges of giving hate speeches, funding terrorists and encouraging money laundering. He has been hiding in Malaysia to evade extradition to India. Zakir Naik will address public gatherings in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. He has gone to Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and is going to meet top Pakistani leaders and officials.
Questions are being raised in Pakistan about the reason why a radical preacher is being accorded a state welcome. He has been spreading hate against all non-Islamic faiths. Dr Zakir Naik is being accompanied by his son Fariq Naik, whom he wants to launch as a preacher. Zakir Naik projects himself as a saviour of Muslims and claims he is trying to show Muslims the right path. I have seen videos of his speeches where he openly advocates conversion of non-Muslims. In one of his speeches, Zakir Naik was asked by somebody whether non-Muslims in India who are sympathetic towards Islam, will ever reach ‘jannat’ (heaven) after death?
In reply, Zakir Naik explained that there are several levels of ‘jannat’ . “Even if one supports Islam, he or she cannot attain ‘jannat’ unless converted to Islam”, he said. A preacher having such a bigoted outlook, whether in Pakistan or in Malaysia, will only spread hate. Zakir Naik is an enemy of India. By going to Pakistan, he will definitely get undue encouragement.
ज़हर का तड़का: चीनी लहसुन से सावधान !
आज सबसे पहले आपको उस खतरे के बारे में आगाह करना चाहता हूं जो आपके किचन तक पहुंच चुका है. आप जिस चमकदार, साफ सुथरे, बड़े लहसुन को अच्छा समझ कर खरीदते हैं, खाते हैं, असलियत में वो चीनी लहसुन है, जो कि धईमा ज़हर है और सेहत के लिए खतरनाक है. सरकार ने चाइनीज़ लहसुन के आयात पर रोक लगा रखी है, इसे बेचना मना है, पर ये नेपाल या अफगानिस्तान के रास्ते भारत पहुंच रहे हैं. आजकल हर सब्जी वाले की दुकान पर, चाइनीज लहसुन धडल्ले से बिक रहा है. इलाहबाद हाईकोर्ट ने सरकार को नोटिस जारी करके पूछा है कि जब चाइनीज लहसुन पर बैन है तो फिर ये देश में कैसे आ रहा है, खुलेआम कैसे बिक रहा है? इलाहबाद हाईकोर्ट में एक पेटिशनर चाइनीज लहसुन लेकर पहुंच गया. जज साहब से कहा कि इस लहसुन की बिक्री पर दस साल से पाबंदी है, इसका आयात भी गैरकानूनी है. ये कानून का उल्लंघन है और लोगों की सेहत के साथ खिलवाड़ है. हाईकोर्ट ने खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग के अधिकारियों को बुलाया और निर्देश दिया कि दो हफ्ते के अंदर लैब में इनकी जांच करने के बाद पूरी वस्तुस्थिति से अवगत कराएं. कोर्ट ने वक्त तो दे दिया लेकिन ये निर्देश भी दिया कि सरकार लोगों को चाइनीज लहसुन के खतरों से सावधान करे, एक हेल्पलाइन नंबर जारी करे, जिस पर फोन या मैसेज करके लोग इसकी शिकायत कर सकें कि चाइनीज लहसुन कहां बिक रहा है. दुनिया में लहसुन की पैदावार में चीन के बाद, भारत दूसरे नंबर पर है. बाज़ार में छोटी छोटी गांठों वाली जो लहसुन बिकती है, वो देसी है, और जो बिल्कुल सफेद और बड़ी बड़ी मोटी गांठों वाला लहसुन है, वो चीनी लहसुन है. कुछ लहसुन ईरान से भी इंपोर्ट होता है.वो भी आकार में बड़ा है, लेकिन हल्के गुलाबी रंग का होता है, जबकि चाइनीज़ लहसुन बिल्कुल सफेद होता है. ईरानी और चाइनीज लहसुन में फ़र्क़ करना मुश्किल है. इसलिए ईरानी लहसुन के नाम पर चाइनीज़ लहसुन धड़ल्ले से बिक रहा है. पता ये लगा है कि ज्यादातर चाइनीज़ लहसुन की सप्लाई नेपाल और अफगानिस्तान के रास्ते होती है. लहसुन को पहले चाइ से नेपाल की मंडियों में पहुंचाया जाता है. फिर वहां से आढ़ती और तस्करी करने वाले इसे चोरी छुपे सीमा पार करा कर भारत में ले आते हैं. गुरुवार को यूपी के महाराजगंज में पुलिस ने 110 बोरी चाइनीज़ लहसुन ज़ब्त किया था. 2014 में चीनी लहसुन की टेस्टिंग हुई थी. शुद्धता के जो मानक है, उस पर चाइनीज़ लहसुन खरा नहीं उतरा था, लैब टेस्ट में फेल हो गया था. चाइनीज़ लहसुन में तय मात्रा से ज़्यादा कीटनाशक मिले थे. जेनेटिकली मॉडीफाइड होने के कारण चीनी लहसुन में फंगल इन्फेक्शन भी जल्दी हो जाता है, इसलिए इसे खतरनाक माना गया और सरकार ने इस पर बैन लगा दिया.
कौन सोच सकता था कि छोटा सा लहसुन इतना बड़ा मुद्दा बन जाएगा, पर ये चाइनीज लहसुन है. इससे पहले चाइनीज चावल, चाइनीज अंडे और चाइनीज नूडल्स ने परेशान किया था. ये सब सेहत लिए खतरनाक थे. उसी तरह चाइनीज लहसुन को भी खतरनाक पाया गया. चीन विश्व में लहसुन का सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक है, पर उसमें सबसे ज्यादा कीटनाशक डाला जाता है, और इसे सैप्टिक टैंक के पानी से उगाया जाता है. हमारे देश में खास तौर पर आयुर्वेद में लहसुन को एक तरह की औषधि माना जाता है. ब्लड प्रेशर की हलात में इम्यूनिटी बढ़ाने के लिए लहसुन दिया जाता है पर अगर दवा ही ज़हर बन जाए तो मरीज का क्या होगा, इसका अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है. अब सवाल ये है कि चीनी लहसुन और देसी लहसून में क्या फर्क होता है और इसे कैसे पहचाना जा सकता है ? कुछ टिप्स मैं आपको दे देता हूं.. चीनी लहसुन आकार में बड़ा होता है, जबकि देसी लहसुन छोटा होता है. चीनी लहसुन की कलियां छोटी और मोटी होती हैं, जबकि देसी लहसुन की कलियां लंबी और पतली होती हैं. चीनी लहसुन आपको पूरी तरह सफेद मिलेगा जबकि देसी लहसुन मटमैला या पीला भी हो सकता है. चीनी लहसुन में गंध कम होती है और देसी लहसुन की गंध तेज होती है. इसी तरह चीनी लहसुन को छीलना बहुत आसान होता है लेकिन देसी लहसुन में छिलकों की इतनी परतें-दर-परतें होती है कि इसे पूरी तरह छीलने में वक्त लग जाता है. अब जब आप बाजार में जाएं तो इस आधार पर पहचान लें कि आप कौन सा लहसुन खरीद रहे हैं और कौन सा लहसुन खा रहे हैं, क्योंकि मार्केट में दोनों मिलते हैं. चीनी लहसुन थोड़ा सस्ता होता है, पर देसी लहसुन महंगा है. मेरी सलाह है कि आप सस्ते के चक्कर में ना पड़ें. जिस प्रोडक्ट के नाम के आगे चाइनीज लग जाता है, उसकी गुणवत्ता और विश्वसनीयता पर शक तो वैसे ही होता है. इसीलिए संभल कर रहें..
Beware of Chinese garlic : A slow poison
The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has directed the UP Food Safety department to probe how banned Chinese garlic, that is considered harmful for health, is still available in markets. This was in response to a public interest litigation filed by a lawyer complaining that Chinese garlic is still being sold in markets despite the Centre clamping a ban on its import. Chinese garlic is considered a slow poison, because of excessive use of pesticide. The Food Safety department has sought two weeks time to test Chinese garlic in food lab and give its report.
The High Court directed that a Helpline WhatsApp number be issued in public interest so that people can send their complaints. Garlic is normally recommended for use by Ayurvedic doctors and dieticians, but the issue of banned Chinese garlic being sold in Indian markets is a case for worry. Earlier, there were controversies involving Chinese fake rice, Chinese fake eggs and Chinese fake noodles. All these products were declared harmful for health. China is the world’s largest garlic producer but its farmers use excessive pesticide to grow garlic. It is grown inside septic tanks, and there have been frequent reports of fungus being found in Chinese garlic. In Ayurveda, garlic is considered a medicine to enhance immunity for those suffering from blood pressure. One can well imagine what patients will face if they consumer Chinese garlic considered as slow poison. Let me share some tips with you about how to differentiate between Indian and Chinese garlic.
Indian ‘desi’ garlic are smaller in size, while Chinese garlic pods are bigger. ‘Desi’ garlic pods are slim and long. Chinese garlic look completely white, while ‘Desi’ garlic pods are yellowish. Chinese garlic have less smell, while ‘desi’ garlic pods have a strong smell. It is easier to remove the covering of Chinese garlic pods, while ‘desi’ garlic pods have several peels of covering and it takes longer to take out the pods. If you buy garlic from market, be careful to differentiate the Indian garlic from the Chinese one. The Chinese garlic may look cheaper while Indian garlic may cost more. My advice to all of you is: Do not be swayed by cheaper Chinese garlic.
Who fears Yogi’s shadow on Himachal? And why?
A day after several Congress leaders, including T.S. Singhdeo, Tariq Anwar and Imran Pratapgarhi strongly objected to a Himachal Pradesh minister’s diktat mandating all street vendors and food establishment owners to follow the ‘Yogi model’ in displaying their names prominently, the state government on Thursday evening clarified that no such order has been issued and the matter is still being studied by a House Committee of the Assembly. The controversy arose after Himachal Pradesh urban development minister Vikramaditya Singh on Wednesday told a meeting of municipal corporation and urban development ministry officials that all food establishment owners will have to prominently display their names. Clearly, the Congress government in HP was taking a cue from the ‘Yogi model’ being implemented in UP. Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi spoke to Rahul Gandhi and demanded withdrawal of the order. Another Congress MP Tariq Anwar said he would write to the partry president demanding his intervention. Former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh T S Singhdeo said, it seems such steps are being taken “to isolate a particular section of society and Congress would not support this.”
Vikramditya Singh’s mother and Himachal state Congress chief Pratibha Singh supported the move, but after both mother and son were summoned to Delhi by party high command, Vikramaditya Singh backed out saying that no such order has been issued and the matter is before a House Committee. He said, anybody from any part of India was free to come to Himachal Pradesh and do business. The moot question is, why did the Congress forced its minister in HP to drop the idea? Was it because this idea was based on ‘Yogi model’? Was it because that a similar step was taken by the BJP government in UP? At least, Congress should not object, because it had been saying since 2014 that Modi government was only implementing Congress schemes, with different names. Congress even claimed that the Swacch Abhiyan (cleanliness movement), Jan Dhan scheme and Make In India scheme were initiated by the party.
In UP, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claims copyright on each of the welfare schemes implemented by Yogi government. Then why this political storm over Shimla? The real reason is: fear of losing Muslim votes. The first objections were raised by Muslim leaders in Congress like Imran Pratapgarhi and Tariq Anwar, who portray themselves as champions of Muslim voters. They feel that by following the ‘Yogi model’, Congress may lose Muslim voters. This is the reason why the Himachal minister was forced to change his stand. The same Himachal minister had earlier described the constructions at the controversial Sanjauli mosque in Shimla as illegal. The minister stood in the state assembly, and openly warned that this illegal mosque could pose a danger to peace in Shimla, but the next day, he had to change his stand. The U-turn taken by minister Vikramaditya Singh and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s government on Thursday makes it quite clear that the order to display names of owners of food eateries would no more be implemented.
हिमाचल में योगी की छाया: किस डर ने सताया?
योगी आदित्यनाथ के चक्कर में कांग्रेस के नेताओं में झगड़ा शुरू हो गया. हिमाचल के लोक निर्माण मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने ऐलान किया कि योगी आदित्यनाथ ने यूपी में खाने पीने की दुकानों में नेम प्लेट और मालिक का नाम पता लिखने को जिस तरह अनिवार्य बनाया है, उसी तरह हिमाचल प्रदेश में भी खाने पीने के दुकानदारों और रेहड़ी पटरी वालों को नेमप्लेट लगाना जरूरी होगा. विक्रमादित्य सिंह के इस फैसले को लेकर कांग्रेस के तमाम नेताओं को आपत्ति है, जैसे टी एस सिंह देव, तारिक अनवर और इमरान प्रतापगढ़ी.तमाम नेताओं ने कांग्रेस हाईकमान से शिकायत की और हिमाचल सरकार से अपना फैसला वापस लेने की मांग की. हालत ये हो गई शाम होते होते हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार की तरफ से ऐलान हो गया कि इस तरह का कोई फैसला नहीं हुआ है, इस मामले में विधानसभा की कमेटी बनी है, वही जो तय करेगी, वही होगा. इसके बाद विक्रमादित्य सिंह को भी कहना पड़ा कि फिलहाल कोई फैसला नहीं लिया गया है. कमेटी रेहड़ी पटरी और दुकानदारों को आईकार्ड जारी करेगी, और वही आईकार्ड सबको डिस्प्ले करना होगा. लेकिन कांग्रेस के नाराज नेताओं को सिर्फ इतने से संतोष नहीं हैं, वो चाहते हैं कि कांग्रेस हाईकमान इस मामले में दखल दे, ये पता लगाए कि आखिर विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने बिना सलाह मशविरे के इस तरह के नाज़ुक मसले पर बयान क्यों दे दिया. लेकिन सवाल ये है कि क्या विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने वाकई में बिना सोचे विचारे फैसला सुना दिया. अगर वो कुछ करना ही चाहते थे तो फिर योगी आदित्यनाथ का नाम लेकर उन्हें श्रेय देने की जरूरत क्या थी? शहरी विकास, लोक निर्माण और नगर निगम के अधिकारियों की मीटिंग में विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा था कि शिमला में हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन, अपराधों की बढती संख्या को देखते हुए सरकार ने फ़ैसला किया है कि रेहड़ी पटरी वालों और दुकानदारों को अपना नाम और पहचान ऐसी जगह लिखकर रखनी होगी, जो सबको आसानी से दिखे. चूंकि यूपी में योगी आदित्यनाथ ने भी दो दिन पहले ही खाने पीने की दुकानों के मालिकों को अपना नाम पता और फोन नंबर डिस्प्ले करने का निर्देश दिया था, खाने पीने का सामान बेचने वाले हर दुकानदार और वहां काम करने वालों का वेरिफिकेशन कराने, दुकान में CCTV कैमरे लगाने और साफ सफाई के मानक पूरे करने के आदेश दिए थे, विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा कि जो फैसला यूपी सरकार ने किया है, उसी तर्ज पर उन्होंने भी हिमाचल में दुकानदारों का वेरिफिकेशन, उनके नाम पते डिस्प्ले करने को अनिवार्य बनाने का आदेश दिया है ताकि हिमाचल के लोगों के हितों की रक्षा की जा सके. विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने सीधी और साफ बात की लेकिन उनकी ये साफगोई कांग्रेस के नेताओं को बुरी लग गई. सबसे ज्यादा बुरा ये लगा कि उन्होंने अपने आदेश को यूपी से जोड़ दिया, योगी का नाम ले लिया, ये कह दिया कि जिस तरह यूपी में हुआ, वैसा वो हिमाचल में भी करेंगे. इसी बात पर कांग्रेस के नेता भड़क गए. विक्रमादित्य के एलान को बीजेपी की नक़ल क़रार दिया . कांग्रेस सांसद इमरान प्रतापगढ़ी ने राहुल गांधी से बात करके विक्रमादित्य सिंह की शिकायत की, फैसला वापस लेने की मांग की. कांग्रेस के एक और सांसद तारिक़ अनवर ने कह दिया कि वो कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष को चिट्ठी लिख कर इस मामले में दखल देने की मांग करेंगे. छत्तीसगढ़ के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री टी एस सिंहदेव ने भी विक्रमादित्य सिंह के फैसले पर आपत्ति जताई. टी एस सिंहदेव ने कहा कि अगर पहचान जरूरी है, तो इसके लिए नियम कानून पहले से ही , दुकानदारों को नगर निगम से लाइसेंस मिलता है. सिंहदेव ने कहा कि ऐसा लगता है कि किसी एक वर्ग को अलग-थलग करने की नीयत से इस तरह की बातें हो रही हैं. जब विवाद बढ़ा तो विक्रमादित्य सिंह की मां और हिमाचल कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष प्रतिभा सिंह उनके बचाव में सामने आईं. प्रतिभा सिंह ने कहा कि वो सरकार के फ़ैसले के साथ हैं. लेकिन पार्टी हाईकमान की तरफ से संदेश पहुंच गया. विक्रमादित्य सिंह और प्रतिभा सिंह दोनों को दिल्ली तलब किया गया. विक्रमादित्य सिंह से कहा गया कि वो ऐसे बयान न दें कि विपक्षी दलों को मौक़ा मिले, पार्टी के नेता नाराज़ हों. इसके बाद विक्रमादित्य सिंह अपने बयान से पीछे हट गए. उन्होंने कहा कि उनके आदेश का यूपी से कोई लेना देना नहीं है, हिमाचल प्रदेश एक अलग राज्य है. वह तो हाई कोर्ट के ऑर्डर का ही अनुपालन कर रहे हैं. विक्रमादित्य सिंह ने कहा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश में किसी से भी भेदभाव नहीं होगा, देश का कोई भी नागरिक हिमाचल में आकर दुकान लगा सकता है. हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने भी सफ़ाई दी. कहा कि अभी तो इस मामले पर सिर्फ़ बातचीत हो रही है. एक स4वदलीय कमेटी बनाई गई है. कमेटी सभी से बात करके कैबिनेट को अपनी सिफ़ारिश देगी. हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्य संसदीय सचिव संजय अवस्थी ने अपनी सरकार के मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह के बयान को उनकी निजी राय बतायी. संजय अवस्थी ने कहा कि विक्रामदित्य सिंह के बयान को गंभीरता से लेने की ज़रूरत नहीं है… क्योंकि, अभी तो सरकार ने इस पर कोई चर्चा ही नहीं की. हिमाचल में कांग्रेस ने अपने मंत्री का आइडिया ड्रॉप क्यों करवाया? क्या सिर्फ इसीलिए कि ये आइडिया योगी का था? क्या सिर्फ इसीलिए कि खाने पीने की दुकानों पर नाम लगाने की स्कीम यूपी में लागू हुई थी? कांग्रेस को तो ये शिकायत नहीं होनी चाहिए क्योंकि कांग्रेस हमेशा से ये कहते रही है कि मोदी कांग्रेस की योजनाओं को लागू करते हैं सिर्फ नाम बदलते हैं. कांग्रेस का तो दावा है, स्वच्छ अभियान भी हमारा, जनधन भी हमारा, मेक इन इंडिया भी हमारा और यूपी में तो अखिलेश यादव योगी सरकार की हर योजना पर अपना कॉपीराइट जताते हैं.तो फिर शिमला में तूफान खड़ा करने की क्या जरूरत थी? इसकी असली वजह है, मुस्लिम वोटों के खोने का डर. कांग्रेस के जिन नेताओं ने सबसे पहले आवाज उठाई, इमरान प्रतापगढ़ी और तारिक अनवर जैसे नेता मुस्लिम वोटों के चैंपियन हैं. उन्हें लगता है कि योगी के रास्ते पर चले तो मुसलमान कांग्रेस से नाराज हो जाएंगे. इसीलिए मंत्री को अपने बयान से पलटवा दिया. पहले भी शिमला की मस्जिद को कांग्रेस के मंत्री ने ही गैरकानूनी बताया था. विधानसभा में खड़े होकर कांग्रेस के मंत्री ने ही शिमला की शांति पर खतरे को लेकर आगाह कराया था लेकिन अगले दिन वो भी अपनी बात से पलट गए. विक्रमादित्य के बयानों और फिर सुक्खू सरकार की सफाई से इतना तो साफ है कि दुकानों पर साफ सफाई कराने और नेमप्लेट लगाने का ये आदेश लागू नहीं होगा.
