Waqf Bill : Are Maulanas misguiding Muslims?
All India Muslim Personal Law Board, along with other Islamic clerics, has given a call to Muslims to assemble at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on March 13. The timing is significant. Hindus will celebrate Holika Dahan on this day, a day before Holi. Top Muslim leaders like Safullah Rahmani, Obaidullah Azmi, Maulana Kalbe Jawwad, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Imran Masood have been telling Muslims that if the Waqf Act was amended, the community will lose most of the Waqf properties like madrasa, kabristan land, etc. The government will take over these properties, they say. But few Muslims know that Waqf amendment bill has nothing to do with the properties of Muslim commoners. Muslims believe what Owaisi and Rahmani are saying only because they have not read the provisions of the bill. The Centre says, the bill has been brought to regulate only Waqf properties. Waqf boards shall remain as they are. The only difference will be, waqf boards will not have the power to acquire whichever land they claim. The bill also has provisions to prevent misappropriation of waqf properties by waqf boards and women will have representation in waqf boards. The path will now be open to remove illegal acquisition of land by waqf boards. Till now, waqf boards had a monopoly. This will come to an end. The government says, the new law will provide the right to challenge the decision of waqf boards in courts. And now the main question arises: How will the Muslim community lose its mosques? How will Muslims lose their control over madrasas and kabristan land? The ground reality is, some individuals have been controlling billions of rupees worth waqf properties, and they have been earning crores of rupees from these properties. This game will now end. That is why these individuals are worried and they are trying to incite their Muslim brethren. This matter relates to waqf boards only, but these leaders are reminding Muslims about Babri mosque, Gyanvapi mosque and Sambhal Jama Masjid.
Bageshwar Baba: Why RJD has a problem with him?
Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Shastri has angered RJD and Congress leaders in Bihar because of his pro-Hindutva remarks. In an interview to India TV, Dhirendra Shastri said, he has come to Bihar for only five days, but if these parties start a campaign against him, he will stay put in Bihar by setting up a ‘math’ (monastery). Shastri said, he will continue his mission to make Bharat a Hindu Rashtra. RJD MLA Mukesh Roshan demanded that Shastri be arrested and jailed. One thing is clear. RJD leaders in Bihar are worried over the presence of Bageshwar Dham chief, who is campaigning for Hindu unity. RJD leaders find these remarks as similar to ‘bantenge toh katenge’ slogan. That is why some of these leaders are demanding that the Baba be thrown into jail. I know Acharya Dhirendra Shastri. He is not among those who can be easily cowed down. People’s support is his strength. If these leaders continue to needle him, the Baba will stay put in Bihar and opposition parties like RJD and Congress will find it problematic.
Nitish Kumar Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai?
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar lost his cool in Vidhan Parishad on Thursday, when a lady RJD MLA, during question hour, spoke about the poor conditions of education in govt schools. The CM suddenly stood up and told the lady MLA that her party is “a party of illiterates that did nothing for education in Bihar when it was in power.” Pointing towards Rabri Devi, the CM said, “when her husband went to jail, he made his wife the CM”. Lalu Yadav’s son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized Nitish Kumar for making such a remark against his mother. He said, it reflects the level of frustration in the mind of the CM. Tejashwi Yadav is right. Nitish Kumar has been making disparaging remarks nowadays. I know Nitish Kumar personally since decades. This is not his normal behaviour. Nitish Kumar always speaks in a dignified and polite manner. But now, I notice a fundamental change in his behaviour. He flares up easily, and at times crosses the limits of decency. I am not only surprised. I feel bad.
Solution to Kashmir’s problems : India should get POK
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has reiterated India’s resolve to get back Pak Occupied Kashmir while speaking at Chatham House in London. A Pakistani journalist tried to embarrass the Minister by raising the Kashmir issue. Jaishankar said: “On Kashmir, I think, we have done a good job solving most of it. Removing Article 370 was step number one, restoring growth and economic activity and social justice in Kashmir was step number two, and holding elections with a very high turnout was step number three. I think the part we are waiting for is the return of the stolen part of Kashmir which is under illegal Pakistani occupation; when that is done, I assure you Kashmir will be solved.” The questioner knew that Pakistan has occupied a part of Jammu & Kashmir, and has been using POK as a launch pad for terrorists infiltrating into India. What Jaishankar said is the aspiration of every Indian. It is, to get the rest of J&K. This has been the aspiration of India for last several decades. What Jaishankar said was to remind the rest of the world that Pakistan has illegally occupied a large part of Kashmir. Jaishankar mentioned the large turnout in the recently held assembly elections to drive home the point that there is Kashmiriyat, Jamhooriyat (democracy) and Insaniyat (humanity) in Kashmir. He also referred to revocation of Article 370 and Kashmir’s economic growth in last few years. Jaishankar could make these points because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown that there can be peace with growth in the Valley.
Did Shami commit a sin by not observing Ramzan fast?
Some Islamic clerics have criticized Team India’s bowler Mohammed Shami for not observing fast during Ramzan while playing in Champions Trophy matches in Dubai. A photo of Shami having energy drink from a bottle was circulated on social media, and immediately some fanatics started trolling him. The chief of All India Muslim Jamaat Shahabuddin Rizvi Barelvi described it as a sin and he has said that he must face punishment for insulting Islamic tradition during Ramzan. Targeting cricketers has become a national pastime. First Rohit Sharma was targeted because of his fitness, and now Mohammed Shami. Those questioning why Shami did not observe fast, forget that he is out main strike bowler. Shami played a key role in defeating Pakistan and Australia. How can Shami perform well, if he does not have energy drink on the field? Those trolling Shami on grounds of religion, do not know the true Islamic teachings. Those clerics issuing fatwas and refusing to accept Shami as a true Muslim, are themselves not true Muslims. Twelve years ago, South African player Hashim Amla was asked why he did not observe Ramzan fast during a match. Amla replied: “In Islam, when you travel, there is no need to observe fast. When I will return home, I will do the needful.” Mohammed Shami should also ignore the publicity-hungry Maulanas. I am fully confident that Mohammed Shami will give his best during Sunday’s Champions Trophy final against New Zealand and play a key role in making Team India the champions. The nation is and shall always remain proud of him.
Did RSS leader insult Marathi language?
Top RSS leader Bhaiyaji Joshi’s remarks about Marathi language at an event in Mumbai has led to Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders staging protest, alleging “insult to Marathi”. Joshi had told a gathering that “it is not essential to learn Marathi if you come to Mumbai to stay”. MVA leaders made this an issue. Actually, Joshi had not “insulted” Marathi language. He had only said that people speaking Marathi, Hindi Gujarat and other languages live in Mumbai and this is the city’s uniqueness. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray alleged that RSS and BJP want to divide Maharashtra and are insulting Marathi pride. Later, RSS leader Bhaiyaji Joshi clarified that he himself was a Marathi and was proud of being so. He said, Marathi language belongs to both Mumbai and Maharashtra. Let me make it clear. Bhaiyaji Joshi did not insult the people of Mumbai, nor did he insult Marathi language. But Uddhav Thackeray and his alliance partners tried to make it an issue. The main reason is, BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) elections are due soon and Uddhav Thackeray is fearing defeat. That is why his party is trying to pit Marathi voters against BJP and is targeting Joshi for his remarks on Marathi language.
पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाला कश्मीर कब आएगा ?
विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर ने पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर को वापस लेने का संकल्प एक बार फिर दोहराया. लंदन की धरती पर विदेश मंत्री ने कहा कि जिस दिन POK वापस आ जाएगा, उसके बाद कश्मीर की समस्या हमेशा-हमेशा के लिए खत्म हो जाएगी. एस. जयशंकर आजकल ब्रिटेन के दौरे पर हैं. लंदन में जयशंकर ने ब्रिटेन के पीएम, विदेश मंत्री और गृह मंत्री से मुलाकात के बाद जब मशहूर थिंक टैंक चैटम हाउस पहुंचे, तो सवाल-जवाब का दौर शुरू हुआ. वहां मौजूद एक पाकिस्तानी पत्रकार ने जयशंकर को परेशान करने की नीयत से कश्मीर का सवाल उठाया. पाकिस्तानी पत्रकार ने पूछा कि वो कश्मीर मसले का क्या हल देखते हैं और भारत इसका कैसे हल निकालेगा. एस. जयशंकर ने करारा जबाव दिया. कहा कि कश्मीर की समस्या काफी हद तक हल हो चुकी है, पहले धारा 370 हट गयी, अब विकास हो रहा है, निष्पक्ष चुनाव हो चुके हैं, जम्मू कश्मीर में चुनी हुई सरकार है, अब जैसे ही कश्मीर का चुराया गया हिस्सा पाकिस्तान से मिलेगा, वैसी ही कश्मीर समस्या हल हो जाएगी. जयशंकर ने सवाल पूछने वाले की बोलती बंद कर दी. पूछने वाला भी जानता था कि पाकिस्तान ने हमारे कश्मीर के कुछ हिस्से पर कब्जा किया हुआ है. POK को आतंकवादियों के लिए लॉन्च पैड बनाया है. एस. जयशंकर ने जो कहा हर भारतवासी की इच्छा है, हमारा कश्मीर हमें जल्दी वापस मिले. ये मांग, ये ललक आज की नहीं, बरसों पहले की है. लेकिन आज जयशंकर ने जो कहा, वो बाकी दुनिया को समझाने के लिए है, कि पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाली कश्मीर और भारत के पास जो कश्मीर है, उसमें कितना फर्क है. ये बताने के लिए है कि हमारे कश्मीर में कश्मीरियत है, जम्हूरियत है और इंसानियत है. इसीलिए जयशंकर ने चुनाव का जिक्र किया, आर्टिकल 370 हटाने की बात की और कश्मीर के लोगों की समृद्धि का अंतर समझाया. वह ये दावा इसीलिए कर पाए क्योंकि नरेंद्र मोदी ने पिछले 10 साल में ये करके दिखाया है. इसका सबसे बड़ा सबूत ये है कि पाकिस्तान की ISI अब frustated हो चुकी है और घटिया हरकतों पर उतर आई है.
क्या शमी ने रोज़ा न रखकर गुनाह किया ?
चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के फाइनल से पहले क्रिकेटर मोहम्मद शमी को कुछ कट्टरपंथी मौलानाओं ने टारगेट किया. शमी पर इस्लाम के नियम कायदों की तौहीन का इल्जाम लगाकर उनके खिलाफ फतवा जारी किया गया. सोशल मीडिया पर शमी की एक फोटो वायरल की गई. ये तस्वीर भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया सेमीफाइनल की है जिसमें शमी मैदान में एनर्जी ड्रिंक पीते हुए दिख रहे हैं. इसी तस्वीर के आधार पर सोशल मीडिया पर शमी को ट्रोल किया गया. कई मौलानाओं और कट्टरपंथियों ने कहना शुरू कर दिया कि रमजान के महीने में मोहम्मद शमी ने रोज़ा न रखकर बड़ा गुनाह किया है. किसी ने लिखा कि रमजान के वक्त खुलेआम एनर्जी ड्रिंक पीना रोज़े की तौहीन है. किसी ने शमी से सवाल किया कि धर्म बड़ा या देश. किसी ने कहा कि शमी को हिन्दू इसीलिए पसंद करते हैं क्योंकि उन्हें मज़हब से दूर रहने वाले मुसलमान पसंद है. ऑल इंडिया मुस्लिम जमात के अध्यक्ष शहाबुद्दीन रज़वी बरेलवी ने तो शमी को इस्लाम का गुनहगार ठहरा दिया. मौलाना बरेलवी ने कहा कि रोज़ा रखना हर मुसलमान के लिए जरूरी है, शमी ने दो गुनाह किए हैं, उन्होंने रोज़ा नहीं रखा और ग्राउंड पर पानी पीकर मुसलमानों को गलत पैगाम दिया, ये रोज़े की तौहीन है, उन्हें इसकी सज़ा भुगतनी पड़ेगी. ऐसा लगता है कि आजकल क्रिकेट स्टार्स को निशाना बनाने का मौसम है. रोहित शर्मा के बाद अब मोहम्मद शमी का नंबर आ गया. शमी से ये पूछने वाले कि उन्होंने रमजान के दिनों में पानी क्यों पीया, रोजा क्यों नहीं रखा, ये भूल गए कि शमी टीम इंडिया के मेन स्ट्राइक बॉलर हैं, पाकिस्तान और ऑस्ट्रेलिया को हराने में उनकी बड़ी भूमिका रही है. क्रिकेट मैदान में अगर वो एनर्जी ड्रिंक नहीं पिएंगे तो कैसे परफॉर्म करेंगे? जो लोग मज़हब की आड़ में शमी को कोस रहे हैं, वो इस्लाम को नहीं जानते. जो मौलाना, शमी के खिलाफ फतवा जारी कर रहे हैं, शमी को सच्चा मुसलमान मानने से इनकार कर रहे हैं, असल में वो खुद सच्चे मुसलमान नहीं है. बारह साल पहले साउथ अफ्रीका के प्लेयर हाशिम अमला से यही सवाल पूछा गया था कि उन्होंने मैच के दौरान रोज़ा क्यों नहीं रखा. तो अमला ने कहा था कि इस्लाम में जब हम ट्रैवल कर रहे होते हैं, तो फास्ट रखने की जरूरत नहीं होती, जब मैं घर जाऊंगा तो सारी कमी पूरी कर दूंगा. मोहम्मद शमी को भी ऐसे मौलानाओं की बातों पर ध्यान नहीं देना चाहिए. मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि रविवार को जब मैच होगा, जब मोहम्मद शमी मैदान में उतरेंगे तो न्यूजीलैंड को हराने में भारत को चैंपियन बनाने में उनकी बहुत बड़ी भूमिका होगी. पूरे देश को उनपर गर्व है और रहेगा.
क्या भैयाजी ने मराठी भाषा का अपमान किया ?
महाराष्ट्र में महाविकास आघाड़ी के नेताओं ने राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के नेता सुरेश भैयाजी जोशी पर मराठी भाषा के अपमान का इल्जाम लगाया. भैयाजी जोशी ने मुंबई के एक प्रोग्राम में कह दिया कि मुंबई की कोई एक भाषा नहीं है, इसलिए मुंबई में रहने के लिए मराठी सीखना ज़रूरी नहीं है. महाविकास आघाड़ी ने इसे मुद्दा बना दिया और सड़क से लेकर सदन तक भैया जी जोशी के खिलाफ प्रोटेस्ट किया. उद्धव ठाकरे की अगुवाई में महाविकास अघाड़ी के तमाम नेता मुंबई के हुतात्मा चौक पहुंचे, मराठी अस्मिता को लेकर एकजुटता दिखाई. विपक्ष के नेताओं ने विधानसभा में भी ये मुद्दा उठाया. आघाड़ी के विधायकों का कहना था कि बीजेपी और RSS के लोग मराठी भाषा और मराठी अस्मिता का अपमान कर रहे हैं. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि कुछ लोग जानबूझकर इसे सियासी मुद्दा बना रहे हैं, जबकि इसमें कोई शक है ही नहीं कि मराठी ही महाराष्ट्र की भाषा है और किसी ने मराठी भाषा का अपमान नहीं किया है. भैयाजी जोशी ने मराठी का अपमान नहीं किया. उन्होंने सिर्फ इतना कहा था कि मुंबई में हिन्दी, गुजराती, मराठी और दूसरी भाषाएं बोलने वाले भी रहते हैं, यह मुंबई के विशेषता है, इसीलिए मुंबई में आने वालों को अगर मराठी नहीं आती तो भी उन्हें भाषा की दिक्कत नहीं होती. बात सिर्फ इतनी थी लेकिन उद्धव ठाकरे ने इसे मराठी के अपमान का मुद्दा बना दिया. उद्धव ठाकरे ने भैयाजी जोशी के खिलाफ देशद्रोह का मुकदमा दर्ज करने का मांग कर दी. उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी और RSS के लोग महाराष्ट्र को बांटना चाहते हैं. महाराष्ट्र सरकार के मंत्री नीतेश राणे ने कहा कि महाविकास अघाड़ी के नेता मराठी अस्मिता के नाम पर नौटंकी कर रहे हैं, जबकि ये वही लोग हैं जो चुनाव के दौरान अपने बैनर में ‘केम छो’ लिखवा कर वोट मांग रहे थे. भैया जी जोशी ने न मुंबई के लोगों का अपमान किया, न मराठी भाषा का. लेकिन इसके बाद भी उद्धव ठाकरे और उनके सहयोगियों ने भैयाजी जोशी के बयान को मुद्दा बनाया. इसकी वजह है बीएमसी का चुनाव. मुंबई में बीएमसी का चुनाव जल्द होना है. उद्धव ठाकरे को हार का डर है इसलिए वह बीजेपी के खिलाफ मराठी सेंटीमेंट का इस्तेमाल करना चाहते हैं और भैया जी जोशी के बयान को मराठी भाषा के खिलाफ बताना इसी रणनीति का हिस्सा है.
Aurangzeb : Abu Azmi’s politics of appeasement
The episode relating to Samajwadi Party chief Abu Azmi praising Mughal emperor Aurangzeb has not only rocked Maharashtra, but its reverberations have reached Uttar Pradesh, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “the kambakth (wretched man) who praised Aurangzeb should be sent to UP and we will give him a proper treatment”. Abu Azmi was suspended by Maharashtra assembly for the rest of the budget session, while Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis promised to send Azmi “to jail 100 per cent” for “insulting Chhatrapati Shivaji and his son Sambhaji Maharaj”. Akhilesh Yadav, from London, opposed the suspension of Abu Azmi saying it amounts to curtailing freedom of speech. Akhilesh’s defence has further complicated matters. The entire political matrix of NCP(Sharad) and Uddhav’s Shiv Sena revolves around Shivaji Maharaj and his son Sambhaji. It is an emotional issue for Maharashtrian voters. Whether it is Uddhav Thackeray or Rohit Pawar, or BJP or Shinde’s Shiv Sena, all of them are unanimous on this issue. They know no politician worth his salt can survive in Maharashtra politics by praising Aurangzeb. UP CM Yogi has said, what Abu Azmi spoke reflects the ideology of Samajwadi Party leaders, who are defending a person “praising a cruel bigot”. Yogi knows how to hit a sixer on a full toss ball. By defending Azmi, Akhilesh sent a full toss, and Yogi lost no time in sending the ball beyond the boundary. Till yesterday, Yogi was trying to corner Akhilesh on spreading false rumours about the arrangements at Maha Kumbh. Now Yogi has got a new issue. It relates to the cruelties meted out by Aurangzeb. The nation knows Aurangzeb was a bigot who hated Hindus. After taking over as emperor, he imprisoned his father Shahjehan till death, and allowed him to have only a fistful of grains for making food. Aurangzeb brutally got his brother Dara Shikoh murdered and his head was displayed in a procession. He killed all his brothers in quest of power. He carried out a pogrom of Hindus killing one lakh Hindus on a single day. He vowed to crush Hinduism, and brutally murdered Sambhaji Maharaj, Guru Tegh Bahadur, and the young sons of Guru Gobind Singh. How can anybody living in India praise a cruel ruler like Aurangzeb? Abu Azmi has committed a sin and Akhilesh has poured oil on fire. That’s why Yogi said, Samajwadi Party leaders are “no more Samajwadis, nor are they Sanatanis.”
Farmers : Bhagwant Mann needs to be more patient
At last, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s government flexed its muscles against the agitating farmer leaders. Samyukta Kisan Morcha had announced ‘Chandigarh March’. Massive police deployment wad made and all 18 entry points to Chandigarh were sealed by setting up barricades. There were huge traffic snarls on the national highways. Mann had been supporting the farmers’ stir till now, but when farmer leaders asked him to fulfil his party’s promises, Mann changed his stance. Farmers are demanding waiver of all electricity bills, opposing pre-paid power meters and demanding one-time settlement of all NABARD loans taken by farmers. In 21 places of Punjab, including Amritsar, farmers set fire to effigies of the Chief Minister. Mann, till last month, was describing farmers as “annadata”, and he is now blaming farmers for disrupting rule of law. His minister Aman Arora is describing farmer leaders as “blackmailers”. At one time, Mann had sent volunteers from Punjab to assist agitating farmers, and the then Kejriwal government in Delhi had made arrangements for food. At that time, Mann used to say that the Constitution has given the right to protest in a democracy. Mann used to visit farmers who had staged a long sit-in on Haryana-Punjab border. But now the tables have turned. There is a proverb, ‘Example is better than precept’. I think, had Bhagwant Mann not walked out of his meeting with farmers, heard their demands seriously, sought more time, farmers would not have taken to the streets.
Why an actress took to smuggling gold?
Actress Ranya Rao, stepdaughter of a DGP rank officer in Karnataka, was arrested from Bengaluru airport by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials, when they found 14.2 kg gold bars hidden in a belt and strapped to her waist. She had come from Dubai. Ranya Rao has acted in Kannada and Tamil films and her stepfather Ramchandra Rao is the DGP looking after Police Housing Corporation. Officials suspect she could be part of a gold smuggling syndicate. DRI officials later, during search, found Rs 2.06 crore worth gold ornaments and Rs 2.67 crore cash at Ranya Rao’s home. The actress has been sent to 14 days’ judicial custody. DGP Ramchandra Rao says, he is surprised over his stepdaughter’s act, as she does not stay with him at his residence. Two points are clear: One, Ranya Rao took advantage of her father being one of the seniormost police officials and two, she was an actor. She probably thought that it was difficult for anybody to catch her red-handed. Reports say, she made 27 trips to Dubai in a year and reportedly earned Rs 12 lakh for each trip. She was in a hurry to get rich quick and this spoiled her career. Gangs of smugglers work in cahoots and she fell prey to one of these gangs. One must learn a lesson, “Greed is the root of all evils”. If you earn illegally, it can cost you heavily.

औरंगज़ेब पर समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता अबू आज़मी के बयान की गूंज मुंबई से लेकर लखनऊ तक सुनाई दी. अबू आजमी को पूरे बजट सत्र के लिए महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा से निलम्बित कर दिया गया. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने कहा कि छत्रपति शिवाजी का अपमान सहन नहीं किया जाएगा, वो अबू आजमी को “शत प्रतिशत जेल में” डालेंगे. अबू आजमी ने औरंगजेब को दयावान और इंसाफ पंसद बादशाह बताया था. महाराष्ट्र में सभी दलों ने अबू आजमी के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की. इनमें वो पार्टियां भी हैं जिनका समाजवादी पार्टी के साथ गठबंधन है लेकिन अखिलेश यादव ने अबू आजमी के निलम्बन का विरोध किया और अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का सवाल उठाया. इस पर उद्धव ठाकरे ने कहा कि अगर अखिलेश को अबु आजमी इतने पसंद है, तो उन्हें यूपी से चुनाव लड़वा लें. शरद पवार के भतीजे रोहित पवार ने आरोप लगाया कि अबु आज़मी शिवाजी का अपमान कर बीजेपी की परोक्ष रूप से मदद कर रहे हैं. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि समाजवादी पार्टी औरंगजेब को अपना आदर्श मानने लगी है, जिस कमबख्त ने औरंगजेब की तारीफ की है, उसे यूपी भेज दिया जाए, यूपी सरकार उसका ढंग से इलाज कर देगी. महाराष्ट्र में सपा के दो विधायक हैं, दोनों मुस्लिम हैं, दोनों मुस्लिम बहुल सीट से जीतते हैं. इसलिए अबु आजमी हों या रईस शेख़, दोनों अपने वोट बैंक के लिहाज से बयान देते हैं. अखिलेश यादव भी जानते हैं कि महाराष्ट्र में उनकी पार्टी का कोई जनाधार नहीं है, अबु आज़मी अपने दम पर जीतते हैं, महाराष्ट्र में वही समाजवादी पार्टी के सर्वेसर्वा हैं, अखिलेश उन्हें पद से हटा नहीं सकते, इसलिए आज़मी का समर्थन करना अखिलेश की मजबूरी है. अखिलेश जानते हैं कि उन्हें महाराष्ट्र में तो चुनाव लड़ना नहीं है, लेकिन शरद पवार की NCP और उद्धव की शिवसेना की सियासत तो छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज के नाम पर चलती है. महाराष्ट्र में छत्रपति शिवाजी और संभाजी से लोगों की भावनाएं जुड़ी हैं. इसलिए उद्धव ठाकरे हों या रोहित पवार, बीजेपी हो या शिंदे शिवसेना, सब इस मामले में एकमत हैं. ये सब जानते हैं कि औरंगजेब की डफली बजाकर कोई महाराष्ट्र की सियासत में survive नहीं कर सकता. इन पार्टियों की अबु आजमी से नाराज़गी इसलिए और भी ज्यादा है कि उन्हें बड़ी मुश्किल से धनंजय मुंडे के केस को लेकर देवेन्द्र फड़णवीस के खिलाफ एक मुद्दा मिला था, वो मुद्दा अबु आज़मी के बयान के चक्कर में हाथ से निकल गया. उधर, योगी मौके पर चौका लगाना खूब जानते हैं. अबु आजमी का समर्थन करके अखिलेश यादव ने योगी के सामने फुल टॉस फेंक दी, योगी ने बिना देर किए बाउंड्री के पार भेज दिया. योगी अब तक समाजवादी पार्टी को महाकुंभ के बारे में दुष्प्रचार के मुद्दे पर घेर रहे थे, सनातन विरोधी बता रहे थे, लेकिन उन्हें फिर मौका मिल गया. औरंगजेब की क्रूरता के बारे में, हिन्दुओं के प्रति उसकी नफरत के बारे में देश का बच्चा-बच्चा जानता है. जिस औरंजगेब ने अपने पिता को मौत तक कैद में रखा हो, दिन में सिर्फ एक मुट्ठी चने खाने को देता हो, प्यासा रखता हो, जिस औरंगजेब ने अपने भाई का कत्ल करके उसकी गर्दन पूरे राज्य में घुमाई हो, सभी भाइयों को सत्ता के लिए मौत के घाट उतारा हो, जिस औरंगजेब ने एक-एक दिन में एक लाख हिन्दुओं का कत्ल किया हो, सनातन को खत्म करने की कसम खाई हो, जिस औरंगजेब ने छत्रपति संभाजी महाराज , गुरू तेगबहादुर, गुरू गोविन्द सिंह के साहिबजादों की निर्मम हत्या की हो, उन्हें शहीद किया हो, हिन्दुस्तान में रहकर कोई भी व्यक्ति उस क्रूर औरंगजेब का गुणगान कैसे कर सकता है? अबु आज़मी ने ये गुनाह किया. फिर अखिलेश यादव ने अबु आजमी का समर्थन करके आग में घी डालने का काम किया. इसीलिए योगी ने कहा कि “अब समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता न समाजवादी रह गए हैं, और न सनातनी.”
किसान : भगवंत मान को सब्र रखना चाहिए था
पंजाब में भगवंत मान की सरकार ने किसानों को ताकत दिखाई. संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा ने चंडीगढ़ मार्च का ऐलान किया था लेकिन भगवंत मान सरकार ने चंडीगढ़ को किसानों के लिए नो एंट्री ज़ोन घोषित कर दिया, ढाई हजार पुलिस वाले तैनात किए गए, पंजाब पुलिस ने चंडीगढ़ के सभी 18 एंट्री प्वाइंट्स सील कर दिए, सभी सड़कों पर बैरीकेडिंग कर दी गई, चंडीगढ़ आने-जाने वाले सभी रास्तों पर जाम लग गया. अब तक भगवंत मान किसान आंदोलन का समर्थन कर रहे थे लेकिन जैसे ही किसानों ने आम आदमी पार्टी को उसके वादे याद दिलाए, तो पंजाब सरकार का रुख बदल गया. किसान चाहते हैं कि मान की सरकार उन मांगों को पूरा करे, जिनपर डेढ़ साल पहले सहमति बनी थी, किसानों के बिजली के बिल माफ किए जाएं, प्री-पेड मीटर न लगाए जाएं, किसानों के नाबार्ड लोन का वन-टाइम सेटेलमेंट हो. पंजाब में 21 जगहों पर भगवंत मान के पुतले जलाए गए. जिन किसानों को भगवंत मान पंजाब के लोगों को परेशानी में डालने वाला बता रहे हैं, मंत्री अमन अरोड़ा किसानों को ब्लैकमेलर बता रहे हैं, इन्हीं किसानों को पिछले महीने तक भगवंत मान अन्नदाता कहते थे. जब किसानों ने दिल्ली कूच की कॉल दी, तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में डेरा डाला, तो मान ने किसानों की सेवा के लिए पंजाब से वॉलेंटियर भेजे. केजरीवाल की सरकार ने किसानों के लिए खाने-पीने, ठहरने का इंतजाम किया. उस वक्त मान कहते थे कि आंदोलन की आजादी संविधान ने दी है, केन्द्र सरकार किसानों को रोक कर लोकतन्त्र की हत्या कर रही है. जब किसान हरियाणा सीमा पर धरना दे रहे थे तो भगवंत मान बार बार उनका समर्थन करने जाते थे, लेकिन जब किसानों ने मान के खिलाफ प्रोटेस्ट शुरू किया, तो मान किसानों को अपनी ताकत दिखाने लगे. तो क्या ये किसानों पर जुल्म नहीं है? इसे कहते हैं, “पर उपदेश कुशल बहुतेरे”. मुझे लगता है कि अगर भगवंत मान नाराज होकर किसानों की मीटिंग से न निकलते, उनकी बात सुनते, कुछ वक्त मांगते, तो किसानों को सड़क पर आने की ज़रूरत ही न पड़ती.
एक्ट्रेस ने सोनी की स्मगलिंग क्यों की ?
बैंगलुरू एयरपोर्ट पर DGP रैंक के पुलिस अफसर की बेटी एक्ट्रेस रान्या राव को 14 किलो सोने के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया. रान्या राव कन्नड़ और तमिल फिल्मों की एक्ट्रेस हैं, DGP रैंक के IPS ऑफ़िसर रामचंद्र राव की सौतेली बेटी हैं. रान्या राव दुबई से बैंगलुरू लौटी थीं. उसने गोल्ड बार को एक ख़ास तरह की बेल्ट में छुपाया हुआ था. DRI ने रान्या राव के घर से भी दो करोड़ छह लाख रु.के सोने के गहने और दो करोड़ 67 लाख रुपए कैश बरामद किए. रान्या राव ने चार महीने पहले ही शादी की थी और वो पिछले पंद्रह दिनों में चार बार दुबई जा चुकी थीं. इसीलिए एजेंसीज उन पर निगाह रख रहीं थी. IPS ऑफ़िसर रामचंद्र राव ने कहा कि सौतेली बेटी की इस करतूत से वो ख़ुद हैरान हैं, रान्या राव उनसे अलग रहती थी. दो बातें तो साफ हैं, रान्या ने अपने पिता के सीनियर पुलिस ऑफिसर होने का और दो, अपने एक्टर होने का फायदा उठाया. उन्होंने सोचा था कि उन्हें पकड़ पाना मुश्किल ही नहीं, नामुमकिन होगा. इसीलिए वो बार बार दुबई जाने लगीं. जाहिर है, गोल्ड स्मगलिंग भी बार बार हुई होगी. जल्द अमीर बनने के चक्कर में रान्या ने सब कुछ बर्बाद कर दिया. ऐसे मामलों में पूरा गैंग काम करता है. वो इसी गैंग की चक्कर में आई होंगी. इस घटना से ये सबक सीखने की जरूरत है कि लालच बुरी बला है, किसी भी गैरकानूनी तरीके से पैसा कमाना, किसी न किसी दिन महंगा पड़ सकता है.
Unbelievable! Not a single case of pickpocketing, theft in Maha Kumbh!
What UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath revealed about Maha Kumbh is really surprising. More than half a billion people went to Maha Kumbh during a span of 45 days, people from all sections moved around freely, and yet there was not a single case of snatching, theft or pickpocketing! On the other hand, small shopkeepers made brisk sales and went home happy with their earnings. Millions of devotees who went to Sangam went home happy because they believe, they have earned ‘punya’ (blessings of Almighty). Yogi explained the economics of Maha Kumbh saying how he arrived at the figure of Rs 3.5 lakh crore business done in 45 days. He gave a rough breakup: Rs 1.5 lakh crore was earned by transporters, UP government earned Rs 3000 crore as toll tax, devotees gave away Rs 650 crore as donations, prayer materials were sold for over Rs 20,000 crore, hotels earned roughly Rs 40,000 crore, while food and other consumable commodities were sold worth Rs 33,000 crore. Listening to Yogi, opposition leaders in UP might be feeling now that they should not have criticized the organizers of Maha Kumbh in the first place. All the 66 crore devotees who came to Maha Kumbh were not supporters of Yogi or Prime Minister Modi. But after watching the good arrangements made, they will surely become fans of Yogi and Modi. Those who came to Maha Kumbh were followers of Sanatan tradition. Leaders who hurt their feelings may have to face loss at the time of elections. At least Akhilesh Yadav managed to take a holy dip, but Rahul Gandhi, the MP from Rae Bareli, did not consider it necessary to go to Maha Kumbh. Why Abu Azmi praised Aurangzeb?
Four-time Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi was suspended for the entire session of Maharashtra Assembly today for his recent remark praising Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. He had criticized a movie based on the life of Maratha emperor Shivaji’s son Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj. Abu Azmi had claimed that incorrect historical facts were shown about Aurangzeb. He described as “an able administrator who helped built several temples and under whose reign India became ‘Sone Ki Chidiya’ accounting for 24 per cent of world GDP”. There were protests inside and outside the Assembly and ruling combine legislators from BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena (Shinde) demanded his suspension. A case has been registered against Abu Azmi. BJP and Shiv Sena leaders said, praising Aurangzeb as a great administrator amounted to insulting Shivaji, who fought Mughal rule throughout his life. This is not the first time Abu Azmi praised Aurangzeb. He had stoked similar controversies in the past too. Abu Azmi later withdrew his remarks, and defended himself saying that it was an off-the-cuff remark in response to a reporter’s question. Abu Azmi has been in politics for last three decades. He is heading a political party. At least he should have known about the deep reverence people of Maharashtra show towards Chhatrapati Shivaji. Shivaji and his son Sambhaji fought against the Mughal ruler throughout their lives, and gave supreme sacrifice. Is Abu Azmi unaware about the severe atrocities that Aurangzeb inflicted on Hindus and Sikhs? Is he aware that Aurangzeb ordered the beheading of one lakh Hindus on a single day? Is he aware that Aurangzeb asked his commander to force the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh to attain martyrdom? The moot point is: Abu Azmi deliberately praised Aurangzeb to keep his vote bank in good humour. Though Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena demanded action against Abu Azmi, but at the same time it said that this issue was raised simply because the ruling combine wanted to downplay the resignation of NCP minister Dhananjay Munde, whose associates had allegedly killed a sarpanch.

Unbeaten Team India entered the final of ICC Champions Trophy defeating Australia by 4 wickets with 11 balls remaining. The main credit for this victory goes to Virat Kohli who made a maginificent 84 runs with patience in order to fashion a thrilling win. Kohli showed why he is called Chasemaster in cricket. Though he missed his century, but he played controlled cricket, and this deserves praise. Shreyas Iyer (45), Hardik Pandya (28), Axar Patel (27), captain Rohit Sharma (28) contributed well. K L Rahul (42 not out) hit a sixer off Glen Maxwell’s ball to finish India’s 265-run chase. The final will be played on Sunday March 9 in Dubai. Virat Kohli was declared Man of the Match. Team India has performed superbly in Champions Trophy tournament. Bowler Varun Chakravarthy is new, but his swingers have foxed most of the batters. All the senior players in the team have returned to form. Rohit Sharma hit a century in this tournament, while Virat Kohli hit a century off the last ball against Pakistan. I would say, Virat Kohli has made a terrific comeback. Mohammed Shami’s and Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling have been exemplary. Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel have played very well. The manner in which Rohit Sharma led his team is commendable. Looking at the overall performance, I am sure Team India will bring the Champions Trophy home this time.

योगी आदित्यनाथ ने महाकुंभ के बारे में कुछ नई बातें बताईं. ये बात वाकई हैरान करने वाली है कि करोड़ों लोग एक जगह इकट्ठा हुए, हर वर्ग के लोग बेरोकटोक आए, पर लूटपाट की कोई घटना नहीं हुई. किसी की जेब नहीं कटी, कोई किसी का सामान लेकर नहीं भागा. दूसरी तरफ छोटे व्यापारियों ने जमकर कमाई की. किसी को कोई नुकसान नहीं हुआ. जो लोग संगम नगरी में आए, उन्होंने खूब पुण्य कमाया. उनकी बातें सुनकर विरोधी दलों को शायद अब ये लगेगा कि महाकुंभ की आलोचना करके उन्होंने खामख्वाह गलती की. जो 66 करोड़ लोग प्रयागराज आए थे, वे सब मोदी और योगी के समर्थक नहीं थे, पर महाकुंभ की व्यवस्था को देखकर इनमें से बहुत से लोग इन दोनों के मुरीद जरूर हो जाएंगे. महाकुंभ में आए लोग सनातन की परंपरा को मानने वाले लोग थे. उनकी भावनाओं को आहत करने वाले नेताओं को इसका नुकसान होगा. अखिलेश यादव तो कम से कम संगम में डुबकी लगाए आए, लेकिन राय बरेली के सांसद राहुल गांधी ने तो उस दिशा में जाना भी ठीक नहीं समझा. इसीलिए अब जब चुनाव आएगा तो उनसे सवाल तो पूछा जाएगा. वैसे योगी आदित्यनाथ ने महाकुंभ की अर्थनीति समझाई, बताया कैसे साढ़े तीन लाख करोड़ रु. का पूरा हिसाब लगाया. बताया कि कैसे महाकुंभ यूपी की अर्थव्यवस्था को पटरी पर लाने वाला इंजन बनेगा. कैसे महाकुंभ देश की विकास दर को बढ़ाने में मददगार साबित होगा. योगी ने ब्रेकअप दिया. योगी ने कहा कि महाकुंभ में अकेले ट्रांसपोर्ट में डेढ़ लाख करोड़ रु. का लेनदेन हुआ, श्रद्धालुओं ने साढ़े छह सौ करोड़ तो सिर्फ दान किए, पूजन सामग्री बेचने वालों ने बीस हजार करोड़ का व्यापार किया, होटलों को 40 हजार करोड़ रु. का बिजनेस मिला, खाने-पीने और दूसरी चीजों का तैंतीस हजार करोड़ रु. का बिजनेस हुआ. उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को तीन हजार करोड़ रु. सिर्फ टोल टैक्स से मिले. योगी ने कहा कि समाजवादी पार्टी के नेताओं ने महाकुंभ को बदनाम करने की सुनियोजित साजिश की, झूठा प्रचार किया लेकिन कामयाब नहीं हुए क्योंकि जमीनी हकीकत लोग खुद देख रहे थे. योगी ने कहा कि महाकुंभ के दौरान नाव वालों ने एक दिन में पचास-पचास हजार रूपए से ज्यादा की कमाई की. नाव वालों के एक परिवार ने तो महाकुंभ के दौरान 45 दिन में 30 करोड़ रूपए कमाए. योगी ने कहा कि आस्था और विरासत को जोड़ने का जो अध्याय 2019 में काशी से शुरू हुआ, महाकुंभ में उसी का विराट स्वरूप नज़र आया है.

महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा में आज समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता अबु आज़मी को बाकी सत्र के लिए निलम्बित कर दिया गया. मुगल बादशाह औरंगजेब के बारे में उनके विवादित बयान को लेकर कल काफी हंगामा हुआ था. महायुति के नेताओं ने अबु आजमी को सस्पेंड करने की मांग की थी. अबु आज़मी महाराष्ट्र में समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष हैं. उन्होने औरंगज़ेब को महान और इंसाफ पंसद बादशाह बताया था. बीजेपी के नेताओं ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में औरंगज़ेब को महान बताना छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज के शौर्य का अपमान है. जब विवाद बढ़ा तो अबु आज़मी ने कहा कि वो कभी छत्रपति शिवाजी और संभाजी महाराज का अपमान कर ही नहीं सकते, कभी कभी रिपोर्टर्स के सवालों के जबाव में कुछ मुंह से निकल जाता है. अबु आज़मी ने कहा कि वैसे तो उन्होंने औरंगजेब के बारे में जो कहा वो इतिहासकारों के हवाले से कहा लेकिन फिर भी उनके बयान को लेकर हंगामा हो रहा है., इसीलिए वो अपना बयान वापस ले रहे हैं. ओरंगजेब की तारीफ अबु आजमी ने कोई पहली बार नहीं की है. वो पहले भी कई मौकों इस तरह की हरकत कर चुके हैं. अब वो ये कह रहे हैं कि रिपोर्टर्स ने सवाल पूछा इसलिए उनके मुंह से निकल गया. लेकिन जो नेता तीस साल से सियासत में हो, चार बार विधायक बना हो, राज्य में पार्टी का मुखिया हो, .क्या उसे इतना पता नहीं होगा कि छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज के प्रति लोगों के मन में कितना सम्मान है? मुगलों के खिलाफ छत्रपति शिवाजी और संभाजी महाराज ने कितना संघर्ष किया, कितनी कुर्बानियां दीं. क्या अबु आजमी को ये नहीं मालूम कि औरंगजेब ने हिन्दुओं, सिखों पर कितने जुल्म किए? एक-एक दिन में एक लाख हिन्दुओं के सिर कटवाए. साहिबज़ादों को दीवार में चुनवा दिया. सही बात ये है कि अबु आजमी ने अपने वोट बैंक को खुश करने के लिए इस तरह का बयान जान-बूझकर दिया. जब फंस गए तो माफी मांगकर मामले पर मिट्टी डालने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. भले ही उद्धव की शिव सेना के नेता अबु आजमी के खिलाफ एक्शन की मांग कर रहे हैं, लेकिन साथ में ये भी कह रहे हैं कि अबु आजमी के बयान को बीजेपी ने इतना बड़ा मुद्दा इसलिए बनाया ताकि एनसीपी के मंत्री धनंजय मुंडे के इस्तीफे की खबर को दबाया जा सके.

Yogi’s disclosures about Maha Kumbh stampede, an eyeopener
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s disclosure, about the reason behind why he chose to downplay initial reports about the stampede at Maha Kumbh on Mauni Amavasya morning, should be an eyeopener for his critics. Yogi said, the first task was to ensure safe return of devotees who had taken a dip, and the authorities stopped more than 2 crore devotees pouring in from neighbouring districts from entering Prayagraj. Yogi was addressing Indian Institute of Management experts and Indian Postal Service officials about Maha Kumbh arrangements. His disclosures were specific. Yogi said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had wanted the Maha Kumbh to be the largest congregation of devotees, unprecedented in history. The CM then explained all the nitty-gritties that were addressed, like ensuring quality of Ganga water, training of policemen, erecting lakhs of toilets and deploying thousands of sanitation workers. The biggest risk was a possibility of any terror attack. To describe the seriousness of this risk, I would like to mention here that Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad picked up an ISI module operative from Faridabad on Monday. The terrorist admitted that he had been sent to blow up the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. I remember, when I visited the Maha Kumbh to record a TV show with Yogi Adityanath, I had asked him about the possibility of a terror attack on Maha Kumbh. Yogi replied, as long as Modi is Prime Minister, we must not worry about external danger. His only worry was about how to avoid any untoward incident at the Maha Kumbh, for which CCTV and drone cameras were deployed for surveillance. Yogi’s determination paid dividends. The entire world watched in astonishment how more than half a billion people came to Maha Kumbh for 45 days and arrangements were made with precision. The world media and newspapers praised the arrangements made at Maha Kumbh. Yogi Adityanath read out all those news headlines on Monday. Yet, there are people in our country who do not trust all that is said in media. They remain cynical. I think, after going through those foreign media headlines, they may realize that the success of Maha Kumbh was a matter of pride for India.
Mayawati’s nephew expelled:A family matter
Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati expelled her nephew Akash Anand from the party, a day after she took away all responsibilities from him. Akash Anand was the national coordinator of the party. Mayawati wrote on X that Akash Anand was working at the behest of his father-in-law and instead of showing maturity, he had become arrogant and self-centred. Former associates of Mayawati like Swami Prasad Maurya said, Mayawati has weakened her party and she is unwilling to reform. Another Samajwadi Party leader alleged that Mayawati took action against her nephew at the behest of BJP. It seems to me that this matter is entirely family-related and not political. Mayawati is unhappy with her nephew’s father-in-law and she believes that Akash was following the dictates of his father-in-law, whom she had already expelled from her party. Rohit’s fitness:Shama’s timing is totally wrong
Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammed embarrassed her party by posting a comment on X raising the issue of Rohit Sharma’s fitness. In her post, she described Rohit Sharma as “fat” and as the most unimpressive captain till now. Soon after her tweet, leaders from different political parties criticized her. Former India player Harbhajan Singh said, nobody had any right to make personal comment about Rohit Sharma’s fitness. After a flurry of criticisms, the Congress party distanced itself from Shama’s comment. A statement was issued by the Congress party saying it does not agree with Shama’s comment and it was her personal opinion. Shama explained on social media that she was not “body shaming” Rohit Sharma, but had only compared him with other former captains. Shama had not expected such strong opposition to her comment. She must understand two or three points. One, Rohit Sharma is fully fit and he has passed all fitness tests like other Team India players. This is the reason why he is in the team and is its captain. Two, Shama should go through Rohit Sharma’s records. He is one of the finest batters of the world and when his bat is in full cry, bowlers tremble at his onslaught. Three, India is playing ICC Champions Trophy semifinal under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy against Australia. योगी ने खोले महाकुंभ के राज़
योगी आदित्यनाथ ने बहुत बड़ी बात बताई. उन्होंने पहली बार बताया कि महाकुंभ में मौनी अमावस्या के दिन हुई भगदड़ की घटना के आठ घंटे बाद तक वह खामोश क्यों रहे. योगी ने कहा, ऐसा करना उनकी मजबूरी थी. वक्त का तकाज़ा था क्योंकि उस वक्त प्रयागराज में 8 करोड़ से ज्यादा श्रद्धालु मौजूद थे. योगी ने कहा कि वह नहीं चाहते थे कि लोगों में बेचैनी हो, अव्यवस्था फैले और फिर कोई हादसा हो जाए. योगी ने कहा कि लीडर की पहचान मुश्किल वक्त में होती है, विपरीत परिस्थितियों में कठिन फैसले लेने होते हैं और संवाद बनाए रखना होता है. उन्होंने 29 जनवरी के हादसे के बाद यही किया. योगी ने महाकुंभ को लेकर वो तमाम बातें बताई जिसके बारे में लोगों को कुछ नहीं पता है. महाकुंभ में मौनी अमावस्या के दिन 29 जनवरी को हुई भगदड़ में तीस श्रद्धालुओं की मौत हो गई थी. इसको लेकर योगी की सरकार पर सवाल उठे. विरोधियों ने हमले किए. अखिलेश यादव ने इल्जाम लगाया कि सरकार ने मौत का आंकड़ा छुपाया. रात डेढ़ बजे हादसा हुआ और मुख्यमंत्री अगले दिन रात नौ बजे तक खामोश रहे. योगी ने बताया कि ऐसा करना उस वक्त जरूरी था. योगी ने कहा कि जब हादसे की खबर आई, उस वक्त मेला क्षेत्र में 4 करोड़ श्रद्धालु थे, प्रयागराज मे कुल 8 करोड़ लोग थे. अगर खबर फैलती, पैनिक होता तो स्थिति नियन्त्रण से बाहर हो सकती थी. इसलिए सरकार ने सबसे पहले डुबकी लगा चुके श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षित वापसी सुनिश्चित की, आसपास के जिलों में मौजूद दो करोड़ से ज्यादा भक्तों को वहां पर रोका. योगी ने जो बताया, वो कई लोगों की आंखें खोल देगा. पहली बात तो ये पता चली कि महाकुंभ इतने बड़े पैमाने पर हो, यह प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र नरेंद्र मोदी की इच्छा थी. वह चाहते थे कि इस बार का कुंभ ‘न भूतो न भविष्यति’ जैसा हो. योगी ने सारी बातें बताईं. चाहे भगदड़ हो, गंगाजल की शुद्धता हो, पुलिस का व्यवहार हो, लाखों टॉयलेट्स का इंतजाम हो, उनकी सफाई का प्रबंध हो, सफाई का ध्यान कैसे रखा गया, पानी के बहाव को कैसे बनाए रखा गया, इस तरह की सारी शंकाएं योगी ने दूर की. ऐसे आयोजन में सबसे बड़ा खतरा होता है किसी आतंकवादी हमले का. सोमवार को ही गुजरात की ATS ने एक फरीदाबाद से एक आंतकवादी को पकड़ा जो राम मंदिर को बम से उड़ाने की साजिश रच रहा था. जब मैं महाकुंभ में योगी के साथ एक शो रिकॉर्ड करने गया था, तब मैंने उनसे आतंकवादी हमले के खतरे के बारे में पूछा था. योगी ने कहा था कि जब तक मोदी जी प्रधानमंत्री हैं, देश को बाहरी खतरे की चिंता नहीं है. उन्हें चिंता है अंदर के कुछ लोग गड़बड़ न करें. इसीलिए सीसीटीवी और ड्रोन कैमरों से निगरानी रखी जा रही थी. योगी का विश्वास बिलकुल सही साबित हुआ. पूरी दुनिया ने हैरत भरी निगाहों से देखा कि महाकुंभ का आयोजन कितनी कुशलता से किया गया. दुनिया भर के लोगों ने, विदेशी मीडिया ने, वहां के अखबारों ने महाकुंभ की तारीफ की. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने वो सारी हेडलाइंस पढ़कर सुनाईं. हमारे देश में ऐसे बहुत सारे लोग हैं, जो अपनी मीडिया में कही गई बातों पर यकीन नहीं करते. उनको लेकर cynical (शक्की) रहते हैं लेकिन मुझे यकीन है कि विदेशी मीडिया की हेडलाइंस को देखकर, वहां की रिपोर्टिंग को सुनकर उन्हें भी समझ आ जाएगा कि महाकुंभ की सफलता भारत के लिए गौरव की बात है.
मायावती ने भतीजे को क्यों निकाला?
मायावती ने अपने भतीजे आकाश आनंद को बहुजन समाज पार्टी से निकाल दिया. मायावती ने एक दिन पहले आकाश आनंद से पार्टी की सभी ज़िम्मेदारिया छीन ली थीं. उन्हें नेशनल कोऑर्डिनेटर के पद से हटा दिया था. सुबह आकाश आनंद ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि बहन जी का हर फैसला उनके लिए पत्थर की लकीर है. आकाश आनंद ने लिखा कि वो बहुजन मिशन और मूवमेंट के एक सच्चे कार्यकर्ता की तरह काम करते रहेंगे, उनके सामने बड़ी चुनौती है, परीक्षा कठिन है और लड़ाई लंबी है, लेकिन जो लोग समझ रहे हैं कि उनका पॉलिटिकल करियर खत्म हो गया है, वो गलत साबित होंगे. इसके बाद मायावती ने आकाश आनंद को पार्टी से ही बाहर कर दिया. मायावती ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि आकाश आनंद अपने ससुर के इशारे पर काम कर रहे थे. कल उनकी जिम्मेदारियां छीनने के बाद उन्हें पश्चाताप जाहिर करना चाहिए था. परिपक्वता दिखानी चाहिए थी, लेकिन इसकी बजाय उन्होंने स्वार्थ और अहंकार दिखाया है. इसलिए उन्हें नेशनल कोआर्डिनेटर सहित सभी जिम्मेदारियों से मुक्त कर दिया गया है और उनके ससुर की ही तरह आकाश आनंद को पार्टी से निकाला गया है. मायावती की बातों से लगता है कि भतीजे को निकालने का मसला राजनीतिक कम और पारिवारिक ज्यादा है. मायावती की असली नाराजगी भतीजे के ससुर से है. मायावती को यकीन है कि भतीजा आकाश अपने ससुर के कहने पर चलता है. ससुर जी को पहले ही मायावती पार्टी से निकाल चुकी हैं. आज अध्याय समाप्त हो गया. इस मामले की चर्चा तो होगी, लेकिन मायावती की लगातार छोटी होती जा रही पार्टी पर इसका कोई खास असर नहीं होगा.
रोहित शर्मा को ‘मोटा’ क्यों कहा?
कांग्रेस की प्रवक्ता शमा मोहम्मद ने बैठे-बिठाए मुसीबत मोल ले ली. शमा ने टीम इंडिया के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा के खिलाफ कमेंट कर अपनी पार्टी को परेशानी में डाल दिया. उन्होंने रोहित शर्मा की फिटनेस पर सवाल उठाए, उन्हें मोटा कहा और रोहित शर्मा को अब तक का सबसे unimpressive कैप्टन कह दिया. और ये सब शमा मोहम्मद ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा. जैसे ही कांग्रेस की प्रवक्ता का ट्वीट आया, तो सभी पार्टियों के नेताओं ने इसकी आलोचना की, कांग्रेस पर हमले किए. दिल्ली सरकार के मंत्री मनजिंदर सिंह सिरसा ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के नेताओं की मानसिकता ही खराब है. कांग्रेस को अपनी प्रवक्ता के इस बयान पर माफी मांगनी चाहिए. आदित्य ठाकरे ने कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता के बयान को गलत बताया. उन्होंने कहा कि रोहित शर्मा स्टार प्लेयर हैं, रोहित शर्मा ने भारत को वर्ल्डकप जिताया, चैंपियन्स ट्रॉफी का सेमीफाइनल सामने हैं, इसलिए इस वक्त टीम के खिलाडियों की आलोचना करने की बजाए उनकी हौसलाअफज़ाई करने की जरूरत है. पूर्व क्रिकेटर हरभजन सिंह ने शमा ने कहा कि रोहित शर्मा पर पर्सनल कमेंट करने का हक किसी को नहीं है. जब चारों तरफ से हमले हुए तो कांग्रेस ने शमा के बयान से किनारा कर लिया. कांग्रेस ने एक बयान में कहा कि पार्टी शमा के बयान से इत्तेफाक नहीं रखती, उन्होंने रोहित शर्मा के बारे में जो लिखा वो उनकी निजी राय है. इसके बाद शमा ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा कि उन्होंने रोहित शर्मा की कोई बॉडी शेमिंग नहीं की है, सिर्फ टीम इंडिया के पुराने कप्तानों के साथ उनकी तुलना की है और इसमें कोई गलत बात नहीं है.
शमा मोहम्मद ने नहीं सोचा था कि उनका एक कमेंट इतनी बड़ी मुसीबत बन जाएगा. उन्हें दो-तीन बातें समझनी होंगी. एक, रोहित शर्मा पूरी तरह फिट हैं. टीम इंडिया के हर फिटनेस टेस्ट को पास किया है. इसीलिए वो टीम के मेंबर हैं और कप्तान हैं. दूसरी बात शमा मोहम्मद को रोहित शर्मा का रिकॉर्ड देखना चाहिए था. वो दुनिया के सबसे बेहतरीन बैटर्स में से एक हैं. जिस दिन उनका बल्ला चलता है, बड़े-बड़े बॉलर थर्राते हैं. और तीसरी बात, रोहित शर्मा की कप्तानी में टीम इंडिया को सेमीफाइनल खेलना है. हमारी टीम का मुकाबला ऑस्ट्रेलिया से है. रोहित शर्मा की कप्तानी में अब तक टीम ने जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन किया है. ऐसे टाइम पर रोहित शर्मा की कप्तानी को बेकार बताना, रोहित की फिटनेस का मजाक उड़ाना बिलकुल गलत है. तो शमा की इन्फॉर्मेशन भी गलत है और टाइमिंग भी wrong है.
महाकुंभ : राहुल, केजरीवाल ने डुबकी क्यों नहीं लगाई ?
महाकुंभ का समापन हो गया है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि यह एकता का महाकुंभ युगपरिवर्तन की आहट है, हजारों साल की गुलामी की मानसिकता को तोड़कर सनातन की भव्य विरासत का विश्वदर्शन है. योगी आदित्यनाथ ने महाकुंभ में तैनात सफाईकर्मियों को सम्मानित किया. 32 हजार सफाईकर्मियों की तैनाती हुई. नदी के किनारे घाटों की सफाई के लिए 1800 गंगादूत तैनात किए गए, डेढ़ लाख टॉयलेट बनाए गए, 50,000 से ज्यादा चेंजिंग रूम्स बनाए गए, घाटों के किनारे कूड़ा डालने के लिए बीस हजार से ज्यादा ट्रैश बिन रखे गए, नदी में कचरा न रहे इसके लिए बड़ी बड़ी फ्लोटिंग मशीन लगाई गई जो रोज पन्द्रह टन कचरा नदी से निकलती थी. योगी ने 32 हजार सफाईकर्मियों का वेतन 10,000 रु. से बढाकर 16,000 रु. करने का ऐलान किया और उन्हें 10,000 रु. बोनस देने की घोषणा की. रेलवे ने भी कहा है कि वह अच्छा काम करने वालों को पुरस्कृत करेगा. महाकुंभ का एक और सुनहरा पक्ष है, यहां अमीर गरीब का भेद मिट गया, गरीब आदमी ने खूब पैसे कमाए, अमीरों ने जी खोलकर दान दक्षिणा पर लुटाए. छोटे दुकानदारों, रेहड़ी पटरी लगाने वालों को कितना लाभ हुआ, इसके बहुत सारे उदाहरण हैं. किसी ने चाय बेचकर 5 हजार रुपये रोज़ कमाए, किसी ने 10 रुपये में चंदन का टीका लगाकर 65 हजार रु. बनाए, किसी ने दातून बेचकर 40 हजार रुपये कमाने का दावा किया. एक यूट्यूबर वहां जाकर लेमन टी बेचने लगा और तीन लाख रूपए कमाए. कुछ लोगों ने गंगा से सिक्के बटोरे और कइयों को तीस हजार रूपए मिल गए. दूसरी तरफ बड़ी कंपनियों ने लोगों की खूब मदद की. कोका कोला ने प्लास्टिक बोटल्स को रिसाइकिल करके 21 हजार जैकेट्स बनाई और सफाई कर्मचारियों और नाविकों को बांटीं. मैनकाइंड फार्मा ने फ्री मेडिकल कैंप्स लगाए. एवररेडी ने पुलिस को 5 हजार सायरन वाली टॉर्चेज और बैटरीज मुफ्त में दी. गौतम अडानी ने भंडारा लगाया जहां एक लाख लोगों को हर रोज मुफ्त खाना दिया गया. बड़ी कंपनियों ने तो अपने शटर डाउन कर दिए, लेकिन आज जब खोमचा लगाने वालों, छोटा-मोटा सामान बेचने वालों ने अपनी दुकानें समेटनी शुरू की तो उनकी आंखों में आंसू थे. उन्हें आने वाले दिनों में रोजगार की चिंता थी. एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि योगी ने उत्तर प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था में आने वाले जिन 3 लाख करोड़ रु. का जिक्र किया है, उसका लाभ इन सब लोगों को मिलेगा, जिनके लिए महाकुंभ रोजगार का एक बड़ा स्रोत था. इस महाकुंभ से पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को बूस्ट मिलेगा और प्रयागराज के विकास को पंख लग जाएंगे. महाकुंभ से पहले सनातन की भक्ति की इतनी चर्चा तब हुई थी जब राम मंदिर का प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह हुआ था. लेकिन वहां लोगों को आमंत्रित किया गया था. महाकुंभ में लोग स्वेच्छा से पहुंचे थे. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह भव्य था. वहां सेलिब्रिटिज थे. महाकुंभ देश के आम आदमी का मेला था. यहां सेलिब्रिटिज और VIPs दिखाई तो दिए पर भीड़ में खो गए. महाकुंभ मूल रूप से गरीबों और मध्यम वर्ग के श्रद्धालुओं की आस्था का केंद्र बन गया. देश के कोने-कोने से आए करोड़ों लोगों की श्रद्धा की अभिव्यक्ति का मंच बन गया. इतनी बड़ी संख्या में लोग आए कि उसकी गूंज पूरी दुनिया में सुनाई दी. अब इसके राजनीतिक नफे नुकसान की बात होगी. 66 करोड़ श्रद्धालु आए. उनके सियासी असर की बात होगी. मोदी और योगी को सफल आयोजन का श्रेय मिलेगा तो विरोधियों को बहुत तकलीफ होगी. अखिलेश यादव ने कुंभ में आने वाले लोगों की भावनाओं को समझने में काफी देर की. पहले सवाल उठाते रहे, लेकिन जब भक्तों की भीड़ देखी तो वह भी डुबकी लगा आए ताकि कल कोई ये न पूछ पाए कि वह महाकुंभ में स्नान करने क्यों नहीं गए. कांग्रेस में दो तरह के लोग दिखाई दिए. एक तरफ तो डी के शिवकुमार और अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी जैसे नेताओं ने महाकुंभ में स्नान किया लेकिन राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी नहीं आए. मैं हैरान हूं. अगर राहुल गांधी संगम में डुबकी लगा लेते तो क्या बिगड़ जाता? अगर उनका तर्क ये है कि ये उनका पर्सनल मामला है, तो फिर अपनी अनुपस्थिति से होने वाले राजनीतिक नुकसान के लिए भी तैयार रहना चाहिए. केजरीवाल ने तो कैमरे पर कहा था कि वो दिल्ली का चुनाव होने के बाद कुंभ जाएंगे पर उनकी लुटिया यहीं डूब गई. अब जब-जब चुनाव होंगे, योगी लोगों को याद दिलाएंगे कि ये सब चुनावी हिंदू हैं. राहुल, केजरीवाल और तेजस्वी यादव जैसे नेताओं के लिए जवाब देना मुश्किल हो जाएगा..

ममता बनर्जी ने महाकुंभ को मृत्यु कुंभ बता दिया था. महाकुंभ खत्म होने के बाद ममता बनर्जी ने बीजेपी के हिन्दुत्व को नकली बताया. ममता बनर्जी ने कहा कि बीजेपी का हिंदुत्व सिर्फ दिखावा है. हकीकत में बीजेपी गेरुए रंग वाली वामपंथी पार्टी है, इसलिए बीजेपी को गेरुआ कॉमरेड कहना चाहिए. बीजेपी ने कोलकाता नगर निगम द्वारा विश्वकर्मा जयन्ती की छुट्टी रद्द किए जाने का मसला उठाया था. जवाब में ममता ने कहा कि बंगाल में तो बीजेपी के नेता हिंदू त्यौहारों पर छुट्टियों को लेकर बहुत शोर मचाते हैं, लेकिन ये नहीं बताते कि दुर्गा पूजा से लेकर छठ पर्व तक मोदी सरकार कितनी छुट्टी देती है. ममता ने बीजेपी पर फर्जी वोटर्स की मदद से चुनाव जीतने का आरोप लगाया. ममता ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग की मदद से पंजाब, हरियाणा, गुजरात और बिहार जैसे राज्यों के लोगों को बंगाल की वोटर लिस्ट में शामिल किया जा रहा है. ममता ने कहा कि बीजेपी का ये फॉर्मूला हरियाणा, महाराष्ट्र और दिल्ली में तो चल गया, लेकिन बंगाल में नहीं चलेगा, वह बंगाल में ऐसा नहीं होने देंगी. ममता ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग पूरी तरह बीजेपी के लोगों से भरा हुआ है. अब एक चौंकाने वाली बात हुई. ममता बनर्जी के सांसद भतीजे अभिषेक बनर्जी ने कहा कि वो गद्दार नहीं हैं, ममता बनर्जी से उनका कोई मतभेद नहीं हैं, अफ़वाहें फैलाई जा रही हैं कि वो बीजेपी के साथ जा रहे हैं, नई पार्टी बनाने जा रहे हैं लेकिन ऐसी बातों में कोई सच्चाई नहीं है. अभिषेक बनर्जी ने कहा कि वो मर जाएंगे लेकिन ममता बनर्जी का साथ नहीं छोड़ेंगे. अभिषेक बनर्जी ने ये क्यों कहा कि वो मरते दम तक बुआजी का साथ नहीं छोड़ेंगे? दरअसल कई दिनों से ये कहा जा रहा था कि अभिषेक ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस में अपनी एक अलग लॉबी बना ली है. कुछ लोग ये कहने लगे कि वो पार्टी पर कब्जा करना चाहते हैं. और फिर ये हवा उड़ी कि अपने केसेज से डरकर अभिषेक बनर्जी बीजेपी ज्वाइन करना चाहते हैं. लेकिन लगता है कि अभिषेक बनर्जी समझ गए हैं कि बंगाल में ममता बनर्जी को चैलेंज नहीं किया जा सकता. तृणमूल कांग्रेस में अभिषेक का अस्तित्व ममता की कृपा पर निर्भर है. इसीलिए भतीजे ने बुआ के साथ जीने-मरने की कसम खा ली.
बिहार: टीचर को गुस्सा क्यों आया?
सोशल मीडिया पर बिना सोचे समझे वीडियो अपलोड करना कितना भारी पड़ सकता है, इसका उदाहरण बिहार में सामने आया. जहानाबाद के केंद्रीय विद्यालय की एक महिला प्रशिक्षु अध्यापिका को नौकरी से निलम्बित कर दिया गया. दिल्ली निवासी दीपाली शाह ने अपने दो वीडियो रिकॉर्ड करके सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्मस पर पोस्ट कर दिए. दीपाली शाह बिहार में अपनी पोस्टिंग से परेशान थी, उसने अपनी नाराजगी सोशल मीडिया के जरिए जाहिर की लेकिन इस दौरान मर्यादा की सारी सीमांए पार कर गई. इस टीचर ने न सिर्फ गालियों का इस्तेमाल किया, गंदी भाषा का प्रयोग किया, बल्कि बिहार का भी अपमान किया. समस्तीपुर की सांसद शांभवी चौधरी ने केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन के कमिश्नर को चिट्ठी लिख कर उसे बरखास्त करने की मांग की. ये बात तो सही है कि दीपाली शाह ने बिहार पर जो कहा, वो सरासर गलत है. दीपाली शाह की इस हरकत से बहुत से लोग आहत हैं. किसी टीचर को ऐसे शब्दों का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहिए और सोशल मीडिया के जरिए अपनी भड़ास नहीं निकालनी चाहिए. हालांकि दीपाली शाह को अपनी गलती का एहसास है, उसने पुलिस को लिखित में माफीनामा दिया है, लेकिन उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर वीडियो पोस्ट किया था. इसलिए दीपाली को सोशल मीडिया पर ही माफी मांगनी चाहिए. उसके बाद इस मामले को यहीं खत्म किया जाए तो बेहतर.

The successful completion of Maha Kumbh has brought the Sanatan Dharma to centre stage for the second time in two years. While CM Yogi Adityanath gave a pay hike and bonus to sanitation workers, the Railways have promised to reward those staff who worked untiringly. There was no difference between the rich and poor at Maha Kumbh. Small shopkeepers earned handsomely from devotees, while the rich donated with abandon. There are examples of a tea vendor earning Rs 5000 daily, while those offering ‘Chandan Teeka’ for Rs 10 each, earned upto Rs 65,000. Those selling tooth powder and ‘neem’ sticks, earned upto Rs 40,000, while a YouTuber earned Rs 3 lakh by selling lemon tea to devotees. Some collected huge amounts of coins thrown by devotees in river Ganga. Top corporate Coca Cola recycled plastic bottles and distributed 21,000 life jackets to sanitation workers and boatmen. Mankind Pharma hosted free medical camps, while Eveready gave away nearly 5,000 siren torches and batteries to the local police. Billionaire Gautam Adani provided free meals to nearly one lakh devotees daily. While top corporates and donors packed up soon after the Maha Kumbh was over, small and medium level shopkeepers had tears in their eyes when they started packing up. They were worried about their earnings in the coming months. Experts say, Yogi’s claim about the Maha Kumbh providing Rs 3 lakh crore turnover to the state economy will surely benefit thousands for whom this event was a big source of earnings. Maha Kumbh will surely give a boost to UP’s economy and Prayagraj will emerge as a top tourist destination. And now a look at political fallouts: Both Modi and Yogi will get credit for the successful hosting of Maha Kumbh, while the opposition will be worried. Akhilesh Yadav took a lot of time to gauge the feelings of millions of devotees who were coming to Prayagraj. He initially raised questions and when he found the crowds swelling, he went silently and took a holy dip himself. This was because he wanted to avoid anybody asking him later why he did not visit the Maha Kumbh. In Congress, there were two camps: Leaders like D.K.Shivakumar and Abhishek Manu Singhvi took their holy dip, but the Gandhi siblings were absent. I am surprised why Rahul Gandhi did not come to Maha Kumbh. Heavens would not have fallen if he had come and taken a holy dip in Ganga. If he thinks this was a personal matter, he must be prepared to face the political consequences for his absence. Arvind Kejriwal said on camera that he would go to Maha Kumbh after Delhi elections, but both he and his party lost the elections. This will give a handle to Yogi, who will be going to tell the people that leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Tejashwi Yadav are all “Chunaavi Hindus” (Election time Hindus). These leaders will find it difficult to respond to such a jab.

On Thursday, Mamata Banerjee described BJP’s Hindutva as “fake” and said, BJP guys are actually “Gerua Comrades” (Saffron Leftists). When BJP made an issue about cancellation of holiday on Vishwakarma by Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Mamata Banerjee challenged BJP and asked how many holidays does the Centre give for Durga Puja, Kali Puja and Saraswati Puja? She then alleged that BJP was adding names of people from Haryana, Gujarat, Bihar and Punjab in Bengal electoral lists. Mamata warned that she would not allow such a “formula” to be applied in Bengal, as was done in Haryana, Delhi and Maharashtra. She also alleged that the Election Commission was packed with pro-BJP people, and unless the EC works impartially, it will continue to face allegations. Meanwhile Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee said he was not a “traitor” and he has no differences with his aunt. Abhishek said, he was a disciplined party worker and he would never dream of joining the BJP. “I will rather die but I will not leave Mamata Banerjee. Even if you slit my neck, I shall shout Mamata Zindabad.”, he said. Why did the nephew say such things? Actually, for the last few days, rumours were rife that Abhishek Banerjee is trying to form a separate lobby in Trinamool Congress to grab the leadership. Rumours were floated that Abhishek may join BJP because of his fear about his pending cases. But Abhishek has realized that one cannot challenge Mamata in Bengal and his own existence depends on the goodwill of his aunt. This was the reason why the nephew swore his loyalty publicly for his aunt.
A teacher is suspended for using cuss words against Bihar
Uploading videos on social media can cause problems to those who hurl abuses and insults. Deepali Shah, a female probationary teacher appointed at the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jehanabad, Bihar, has been suspended. She posted two videos of herself on social media platforms where she used offensive language against Bihar and its people. A resident of Delhi, Deepali Shah crossed all limits of decency. In her videos, she described Bihar as “India’s worst region” and said she was willing to work in Bengal, Goa, Odisha, even Ladakh and in the South, except Bihar. In another video, she was heard saying “Bihar is not a place fit to live and the people here have no civic sense”. Samastipur MP Shambhavi Chaudhary has demanded that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan must terminate her services. What Deepali Shah said about Bihar and its people is totally unjustified. She submitted an apology in writing to the local police, but since she has posted both objectionable videos on social media, she must tender apology on social media too.

US President Donald Trump has come up with a new idea. If you have Rs 44 crore, you can get yourself settled in the US. In the Gold Card Visa scheme, those “aliens” interested in doing business in the US should buy a Gold Card for $ 5 million (Rs 44 cr) and settle in the US. Trump has said that his government has set a target of selling one million Gold Cards. He said, America’s doors will be opened to nationals of all countries including Russia, China and India. Details of this scheme will be made public soon. Till now, the US government had been following a policy of giving long-term visa to foreigners who invest $ 1 million (Rs 8-9 cr). Other countries too have come up with similar offers. Turkey grants citizenship if one invests Rs 3.5 crore, and Greece offers citizenship for investment starting from Rs 2.25 crore. Maha Kumbh success : Sanatan’s biggest achievement
The resounding success of Maha Kumbh, which came to an end with 66 crore people taking a holy dip across a time span of 45 days, deserves to be applauded. Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the event as “Ekta Ka Maha Kumbh”. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced all safai karmacharis who worked at Maha Kumbh, will now get an enhanced pay of Rs 16,000 per month and a bonus of Rs 10,000. Organizing such a mammoth congregation on a huge scale was really courageous and Yogi Adityanath came out with flying colours. This success can be described as magical. When crores of devotees congregate at a place, there are big risks involved. Anything could have happened. We must not forget the unfortunate stampede that took place on January 29. When crores of people take a holy dip, epidemic could have broken out or any big untoward incident could have occurred. What happened was magical, with the blessings of Almighty. By organizing this Maha Kumbh, the world has been shown that 66 crore people can be managed in an orderly manner, provided there is strong determination, proper security aided by modern technology. Millions of devotees were regulated using modern communication skills. It has also been proved that if people cooperate, lakhs of devotees can be served food and water. Normally people fear policemen, but policemen can be trained to behave in a friendly manner. Thousands of religious saints and ascetics were accorded proper respect. Both the rich and the poor were allowed to take a holy dip together. It is the sign of good business acumen that Rs 3 lakh crore turnover was generated by spending Rs 7,500 crore on arrangements. People’s trust was won, despite false rumours, through proper management. This Maha Kumbh shall, therefore, be remembered as an unimaginable experience. Organizing it was a test by fire, an ‘Agni Pareeksha’, and both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi came out with flying colours. Sanatan dharma gained respect throughout the world. The whole world has been noticing how India used management skills, efficiency and capability. The world has acknowledged that India has shown that the impossible can be achieved. This unprecedented success will reverberate in the years to come. It is the greatest achievement for India’s Sanatan Dharma.
Bageshwar Dham’s laudable initiative
In the sleepy town of Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Shastri conducted a mass marriage for 251 poor, orphaned girls. Present was President Droupadi Murmu who blessed the 251 newly wed couples and gifted them sarees and suits bought from her own savings. On behalf of Bageshwar Dham,double bed, sofa, almirahs, dressings tables, utensils and other household items were gifted to the couples. Present were MP Governor Mangubhai Patel, CM Mohan Yadav, MPs Manoj Tiwari, Nishikant Dubey, Kapil Mishra, sportsmen Virendra Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, R P Singh, Patanjali Yog Peeth deputy chief Acharya Balkrishna and Gyananandji Maharaj. Dhirendra Shastri has been organizing mass marriages for the last five years. In an emotional speech, he disclosed how his family had no money for the marriage of his sister and people were unwilling to give loans. Out of 251 girls, 108 belong to tribal community. Dhirendra Shastri was known till now as a baba who had magical powers and who could deliver religious sermons, but on Mahashivratri day, he performed the role of a godfather. His Bageshwar Dham is also building a cancer hospital. I believe, if all godmen, saints and religious figures come forward to work for the betterment of society by providing education, healthcare and nutrition for the poor using donations from disciples, it will strengthen our nation.
Bihar’s new ministers: BJP prepares for elections
Eight months before the Assembly elections due in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inducted seven new ministers from BJP. All the ministers picked up keeping caste combination and regional base in mind. Four ministers are from Mithilanchal. Five out of the seven new ministers today were from backward classes. It is no rocket science to figure out why and how the cabinet was expanded. Caste combinations dominate Bihar politics. Lalu Yadav’s focus is on Dalits, backward classes and Muslim voters. Other Backward Classes account for 27 pc of Bihar’s population, while Extremely Backward Classes add up to 36 per cent. Clubbing both classes, it becomes nearly 63 per cent in Bihar. If Yadavs are subtracted from this, nearly 50 per cent belong to OBCs and EBCs. The NDA combination of BJP-JD(U) is targeting this 50 per cent voters’ population. Keeping assembly polls in mind, BJP is trying to rearrange caste equations in Bihar.

This is the second time that Afghanistan has beaten England in an ICC tournament. The Afghan team has lot of talent but lacks experience.
