बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या: एक गैंगस्टर के सामने प्रशासन इतना मजबूर क्यों?
मुंबई में NCP नेता बाबा सिद्दीकी की सनसनीखेज हत्या ने सब को चौंका दिया है. पुलिस ने कोर्ट में खुलासा किया है कि बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या के तार गैंगस्टर गिरोह के सरगना लारेंस बिश्नोई से जुड़ने के सबूत मिले हैं. पुलिस का दावा है कि शूटर्स को बाबा सिद्दीकी के साथ-साथ उनके बेटे ज़ीशान सिद्दीकी को भी मारने का आदेश दिया गया था.
पुलिस ने इस केस में अब तक कुल 6 अपराधियों की पहचान की है जिनमें से तीन पुलिस की गिरफ्त में हैं. दो शूटर्स गुरमेल सिंह और धर्मराज कश्यप को तो पुलिस ने हत्या के कुछ ही घंटों के बाद पकड़ लिया था. तीसरे आरोपी प्रवीण लोनकर की गिरफ्तारी पुणे से हुई.
अब तक की पूछताछ में शूटर्स ने बताया कि उन्हें लारेंस गैंग की तरफ से सिर्फ टारगेट बताए गए थे, रुकने, रेकी करने से लेकर हथियार सब कुछ मुहैया करवाया गया. हर लड़के की जिम्मेदारी तय थी लेकिन किसी को ये नहीं मालूम कि हत्या का आदेश देने वाला कौन था? किसके कहने पर बाबा सिद्दीकी पर हमला हुआ?
इन शूटर्स ने बताया कि उन्हें बाबा सिद्दीकी और उनके बेटे जीशान को खत्म करने टारगेट दिया गया था. गुरमैल सिंह, धर्मराज कश्यप और प्रवीन लोनकर गिरफ्तार हो चुके हैं. एक शूटर शिव कुमार गौतम फरार है. शिव कुमार गौतम ने ही बाबा सिद्दीकी पर निशाना लगाकर फायरिंग की थी. पांचवा आरोपी ज़ीशान अख्तर फरार है. ज़ीशान शूटर्स के साथ कॉर्डिनेट कर रहा था. छठा आरोपी शुभम लोनकर भी फरार है.
शुभम लोनकर उर्फ सुबु लोनकर प्रवीण लोनकर का भाई है. इन दोनों ने शूटर्स शिवकुमार और धर्मराज को हमले के लिए तैयार किया, मुंबई में इनके रहने का इंतजाम किया, हथियार दिए. बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या के बाद शुभम लोनकर ने ही फेसबुक पोस्ट में हत्या की जिम्मेदारी ली. अपने पोस्ट में लॉरेंस बिश्नोई गैंग और अनमोल विश्नोई को टैग किया.
पुलिस को शक है कि बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या में ये सारे नौसिखिए तो मोहरा है, इसके पीछे बड़े अपराधियों का हाथ है. हैरानी की बात ये है कि 6 आरोपियों में से 4 का कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड नहीं है. बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या अब महाराष्ट्र की सियासत में बड़ा मुद्दा बन गया है.
मेरा ये मानना है कि जिस तरह से बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या की गई, वो चौंकाने और डराने वाला है. बाबा के पास Y कैटेगरी की सुरक्षा थी. लेकिन सुरक्षाकर्मी उसे बचा नहीं पाए. वो तो कहीं नजर भी नहीं आए. बाबा को जान से मारने की धमकी मिली थी. पुलिस को थ्रेट परसेप्शन की जानकारी थी, तो भी हत्यारे आकर प्वॉइंट ब्लैंक से गोली मारकर चले गए.
सबसे बड़ी बात ये है कि 20-22 साल के लड़कों को इस काम के लिए लिया गया. उनमें कई ऐसे हैं जिनकी कोई आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि नहीं है. और वो पहली हत्या करके हीरो बन रहे हैं. अपने काले कारनामों को सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट कर रहे हैं. ये एक पैटर्न है, जो दिल्ली से लेकर मुंबई तक दिखाई दे रहा है. अगर ये काम जेल में बंद लॉरेंस बिश्नोई का है तो और भी चिंता की बात है.
एक खतरनाक अपराधी जेल में बैठकर अपना गैंग कैसे चला सकता है? उसने 200 लड़कों को शूटिंग की ट्रेनिंग देकर हत्या करने के लिए तैयार कैसे कर लिया? और पुलिसवाले बताते हैं कि लॉरेंस बिश्नोई ये काम 10-20 हजार रुपये में करवा लेता है. ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है कि वो जिसको चाहे हायर करे, जिसपर चाहे गोली चलवा दे.
हमारी सुरक्षा एजेंसियां क्या कर रही है? क्या इंटेलीजेंस फेल हो गई? सवाल सिर्फ..बाबा सिद्दीकी का, या दिल्ली में जिम के बाहर मारे गए नादिर शाह का नहीं है. सवाल ये है कि दिल्ली और मुंबई जैसे शहरों में खुलेआम गैंगवॉर चल रही है.
यूपी, हरियाणा और पंजाब से लड़कों को हायर करके हत्या कराने का कारोबार जारी है. किसी को तो इसका जवाब देना पड़ेगा. किसी को तो अपराध की इस आंधी पर रोक लगानी पड़ेगी.
यूपी में योगी आदित्यनाथ ने यह करके दिखाया है. उन्होंने अपराधियों के दिलों में खौफ पैदा किया है. माफिया का खात्मा करने का एक मॉडल तैयार किया है. इस मॉडल को बाकी राज्यों में भी लागू करने की जरूरत है. जो भी सरकार ऐसा करेगी, मुझे विश्वास है, उसको पब्लिक का पूरा समर्थन मिलेगा.
Baba Siddique Murder: Why is the system so helpless in front of a gangster?
The sensational murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique has shocked the nation, with Mumbai Police telling the court that it has evidence of the involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s shooters in this crime.
Police says, the arrested shooters have disclosed that they were asked to kill Baba’s MLA son Zeeshan Siddique too. Two shooters, Gurmail Singh and Dharmraj Kashyap were arrested within hours of the crime, while a third person, Praveen Lonkar, described as conspirator, was nabbed from Pune. The third shooter, Shiv Kumar Gautam, is absconding, while their coordinator Zeeshan Akhtar has gone underground. Police says, the shooters were hired by Praveen Lonkar and his brother Shubham Lonkar alias Subu.
It was Shubham Lonkar who had taken responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddique by posting his comments on social media. He had tagged Lawrence Bishnoi going and Anmol Bishnoi in his post. Top police officials believe that this could not be the handiwork of a bunch of novices, but some big criminals are involved in the conspiracy. Four out of the six suspects have no past criminal records.
Already Maharashtra politics is on the boil over the murder of the NCP leader. The manner in which Baba Siddique was murdered is shocking and frightening. Baba had ‘Y’ category security, but his securitymen could not save him. They were not seen at the time of crime. Baba had received threats to his life and police was aware of the threat perception. Yet the killers came, shot point-blank at him and fled.
The worrying part is that youths in the age group 20-22 years were hired to carry out this murder. They had no previous criminal background. They and their co-conspirators are proudly posting their comments on social media. There appears to be a pattern in this, from Delhi to Mumbai.
If this murder is the handiwork of a criminal gangster like Lawrence Bishnoi sitting inside a jail, then it is more worrying. How can a dangerous criminal run his gang, sitting within the confines of a prison? How did he manage to train more than 200 youths in the art of shooting? Police officials say, Lawrence Bishnoi gets these murders done, by charging only Rs 10-20,000.
How can it be that he can hire anybody and make them fire at his targets? What are our security agencies doing? Has their intelligence machinery failed? The question is not confined to Baba Siddique alone, or a gym owner Nadir Shah, who was shot outside his gym in Delhi’s Greater Kailash. The main question is: open gang war is going in big metros like Delhi and Mumbai, where youths hired from UP, Haryana and Punjab are carrying out killings.
Somebody will have to answer. Somebody will have to put a brake on this crime wave. Yogi Adityanath has done this in Uttar Pradesh. He and his police have struck fear in the hearts of criminals and a model has been created to eliminate mafia gangs. Such a model needs to be replicated in other states too. Any government that follows this model will, I think, surely get public support.
How to say ‘TATA’ to the ‘RATAN’ of India?
With the passing away of Ratan Tata and appointment of Noel Tata, aged 67 as chairman of Tata Trusts, the over $ 100 billion Tata group has undergone a major changeover. The nation mourned the death of the patriarch, as corporate chieftains, top political leaders and celebrities came to pay their last respects in Mumbai. Under Ratan Tata, the group rose from a turnover of $4 billion to over $100 billion in 21 years. From salt, tea and coffee to airconditioners, cars, trucks, airlines, hotels, hospitals, steel and telecom, one can find the Tata group omnipresent in everyday life of each Indian. Ratan Tata was not merely a businessman or the patriarch of the group. He was an institution. He was the ideal industrialist, inspiration for youths and a blessing for the poor. It was he who brought the Tata group in the international automobile sector, gave the Indian middle class a dream to own a car.
Ratan Tata owned billions worth properties, but he always preferred to stay with his roots, living a simple life. During Covid pandemic, he opened the doors of Taj Hotel for patients who were unable to get beds in hospitals. His heart for the canines led him to refuse an invitation to the Buckingham Palace, because his pet dog was ill and he did not want to leave his side. When workers were being asked to vacate their homes, he listened to the appeal of workers and gave ownership rights to the employees. His vision was big. His group acquired international automobile brands Land Rover and Jaguar, and when the government-owned Air India was in dire straits, Ratan Tata decided to acquire Air India and gave it a new facelift. He had the Midas touch and made whichever industry he acquired a success. Words are not sufficient to speak about Ratan Tata’s philanthropic acts. While the doyens of Indian corporates, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, top politicians and celebrities paid their last respects to the departed patriarch, why was the common man on the street emotional on learning about Ratan Tata’s death? He was a businessman, he earned money for his companies, but why was the common Indian sad? One should try to understand.
Ratan Tata did not earn fame because of his wealth. It was the love and affection of the common man, because of his basic qualities, that made him great. Normally you do not find such levels of humility among people who head corporates. Ratan Tata was soft-spoken, the epitome of humility. He never showed off his wealth or displayed his clout. Yet he was always ready to help the needy. We heard many stories about how he helped people when somebody wanted assistance to build a hospital, when somebody wanted financial help for treatment, and when a person sought his help in getting admission. He had a large heart. Ratan Tata preferred to live a simple life, devoid of the usual trappings. He preferred to drive his car himself. He never moved around with his entourage of assistants. The common man noticed how Ratan Tata used to strictly follow protocol. Getting a physical body security check, or standing in a queue at an airport was not a problem for him. These are matters which one saw in public. But there are matters which outsiders do not know.
He had a clear heart. He never used unfair means to expand his business. He never used questionable means to dislodge his competitor. All these qualities came to the fore during his interactions, when he spoke to the new generation. Many a times he used to speak about trivial matters. He used to tell the youths not to start business only for making money. He used to advise them to start business to create a new identity. Such advices from Ratan Tata were followed by most of the people who had the fortune to interact with him. Men like Ratan Tata do not die. They rule the hearts of people with their work, their thoughts, their simple life and their personality. They live forever. For the young generation, its biggest tribute to Ratan Tata could be: at least learn something from his life and implement it in your own life.

रतन टाटा नहीं रहे. इस ‘रतन’ को ‘टाटा’ कैसे कहें? भारत के इस महान सपूत को अलविदा कैसे कहें? कैसे यकीन करें कि रतन टाटा अब इस दुनिया में नहीं रहे? रतन टाटा का काम और नाम इतना बड़ा है कि आप अपने आसपास देखेंगे तो हर जगह उनकी उपस्थिति का एहसास होगा. AC टाटा का, TV टाटा का, Tea-coffee टाटा की, कार से लेकर एयरलाइन तक सब टाटा की, Hotels और Hospitals टाटा के, कैंसर का इलाज टाटा का, रिसर्च टाटा की, steel हो या telecom, हर फील्ड में आपको टाटा की मौजूदगी मिलेगी. इसीलिए रतन टाटा कहीं नहीं जा सकते, वो आपको रोज़ नज़र आएंगे, यहीं मिलेंगे. रतन टाटा सिर्फ एक बिजनेसमैन नहीं थे. वह सिर्फ टाटा ग्रुप के सर्वेसर्वा नहीं थे. रतन टाटा एक संस्थान थे, एक विचार थे. रतन टाटा किसी न किसी रूप में हम सबकी जिंदगी से जुड़ गए थे. उद्योगपतियों के आदर्श थे, युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा थे, गरीबों के लिए मसीहा थे. रतन टाटा ने टाटा ग्रुप को दुनिया भर में फैलाया. टाटा का नमक तो देश पहले से खा रहा था, लेकिन टाटा की चाय घर-घर की किचन में रतन टाटा ने पहुंचाई. मिडिल क्लास को कार का सपना रतन टाटा ने दिखाया. भारत के ऑटोमोबाइल सेक्टर को इंटरनेशनल रतन टाटा ने बनाया. मिनरल वाटर से लेकर विस्तारा एयर लाइन तक सब रतन टाटा का है. रतन टाटा शोहरत की बुलंदियों पर थे, अपार दौलत थी, लेकिन हमेशा जमीन से जुडे रहे. इंसानियत का जज्बा ऐसा था कि कोरोना काल में जब अस्पतालों में मरीजों के लिए जगह नहीं थी तो मुंबई में ताज होटल के दरवाजे कोरोना मरीजों के लिए खोल दिए. दिल में दया इतनी कि प्रिंस चार्ल्स का बर्मिंघम पैलेस में आने का न्योता इसलिए नामंजूर कर दिया क्योंकि उनका पेट डॉग बीमार था. वो उसे छोड़कर नहीं जाना चाहते थे. सेवा भाव ऐसा कि टाटा कंपनी के घरों से मजदूरों को निकाला जा रहा था, मजदूरों ने रतन टाटा से अपील की, तो कंपनी के घर मजदूरों के नाम कर दिए. उन्हें घरों का मालिकाना हक़ दे दिया. सोच इतनी बड़ी कि लैंड रोवर और जगुआर जैसे बड़े अन्तरराष्ट्रीय ब्रैंड्स को खरीद लिया. एयर इंडिया खतरे में पड़ी, तो एयर इंडिया खरीद लिया. रतन टाटा वाकई भारत के सच्चे रत्न थे. उन्होंने जिस कारोबार को छुआ, वो सोना उगलने लगा, खूब पैसा कमाया, लेकिन काफी कुछ दान दे दिया. रतन टाटा के व्यक्तित्व को शब्दों में समेटना नामुमकिन है. उनकी खूबियां गिनाने के लिए अल्फाज़ कम पड़ जाते हैं. रतन टाटा का अन्तिम संस्कार पूरे राजकीय सम्मान के साथ किया गया लेकिन लोगों के दिलों में रतन टाटा हमेशा बसे रहेंगे. रतन टाटा को लेकर आज लोग इतने भावुक क्यों हैं? रतन टाटा उद्योगपति थे, बिजनेस चलाते थे, पैसा कमाते थे, तो फिर उनको लेकर आज घर-घर में लोग दुखी क्यों हैं? इसे समझने की ज़रूरत है. रतन टाटा को उनकी जायदाद ने बड़ा नहीं बनाया. उन्हें लोगों का प्यार मिला, उनके बुनियादी गुणों के कारण. ऐसी बातों को लेकर जो आमतौर पर बड़े लोगों में नहीं मिलतीं. रतन टाटा विनम्र थे, कभी अपनी जायदाद का दिखावा नहीं करते थे, कभी अपनी ताकत का प्रदर्शन नहीं करते थे. रतन टाटा दूसरों की मदद करने के लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहते थे. आज ऐसे अनेक अनुभव हमें सुनने को मिले. किसी ने अस्पताल बनाने के लिए मदद मांगी, किसी ने इलाज के लिए, किसी ने एडमिशन के लिए. रतन टाटा ने सबकी खुले दिल से मदद की. ऐसी बहुत सारी कहानियां आपको सुनने को मिल जाएंगी. रतन टाटा की सादगी को भी लोगों ने पसंद किया. वो खुद कार ड्राइव करते थे, न कोई तामझाम, न भीड़भाड़. आम लोग देखते थे कि रतन टाटा हमेशा प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करते थे, सिक्योरिटी चेक कराने और लाइन में खड़े होने में उन्हें कोई समस्या नहीं थी. लेकिन ये सब वो बातें थी जो ऊपर से दिखाई देती थी. इन सबसे ऊपर जो बात थी, अंदर की बात, वो ये कि रतन टाटा दिल के साफ थे. कारोबार को आगे बढ़ाने में उन्होंने ग़लत हथकंडों का सहारा नहीं लिया. अपनी कंपनी को ऊपर उठाने के लिए किसी दूसरी कंपनी को गिराने का काम नहीं किया और रतन टाटा के ये सारे गुण उनकी बातचीत में नज़र आती थी. जब वो नई पीढ़ी के लोगों से बात करते थे तो बहुत सारी छोटी-छोटी बातें बताते थे, लेकिन वो बड़े काम की होती थी. वो नौजवानों से कहते थे कि सिर्फ पैसा कमाने के लिए कारोबार शुरू मत करो. बिजनेस शुरू करो अपनी अलग पहचान बनाने के लिए. रतन टाटा की ऐसी बातें लोगों के दिलों में उतर जाती थी. इसीलिए मैंने कहा कि रतन टाटा जैसे लोग मरा नहीं करते. वो अपने कर्म से, विचार से, अपनी सादगी से, अपने व्यक्तिव से हमेशा लोगों के दिलों पर राज करते हैं. हमेशा जिंदा रहते हैं. रतन टाटा को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि यही होगी कि उनके जीवन से कुछ सीखें और अपने जीवन में उतारें.
मोदी ने फिर ललकारा: कांग्रेस के जातिवाद का पर्दाफाश किया
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि हरियाणा के चुनाव नतीजे देश के मूड को दर्शाते हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस का एजेंडा नफरत और ज़हर फैलाना है, वोटों के चक्कर में कांग्रेस हिन्दुओं को बांटना चाहती है. प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि कांग्रेस सनातन से नफरत करती है क्योंकि इसमें उसको वोटों का फायदा होता दिखाई देता है.
नरेंद्र मोदी ने याद दिलाया कि गांधी जी ने आजादी के बाद कहा था कांग्रेस को अब खत्म हो जाना चाहिए. कांग्रेस तो खत्म नहीं हुई लेकिन अब देश को खत्म करने की साजिश में जुटी है. मोदी का हमला कल से और ज्यादा करारा था. मोदी ने कहा कि हरियाणा के लोगों ने कांग्रेस को आइना दिखा दिया. उन्होने कहा कि कांग्रेस का चुनावी फॉर्मूला है, मुसलमानों को डराओ और हिन्दुओं को बांटों.
मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस मुस्लिम जातियों की बात नहीं करती क्योंकि इससे उसके वोटबैंक के बिखरने का खतरा होता है लेकिन हिन्दुओं को जातियों में बांटती है क्योंकि हिन्दुओं की एकजुटता से कांग्रेस को डर लगता है. मोदी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस समाज में ज़हर घोलने वाली जातिवादी और सांप्रदायिक पार्टी बन गई है और ये बात अब देश समझ रहा है.
मोदी के तेवर, मोदी की आवाज़ और मोदी के अंदाज़ में एक बार फिर पुरानी खनक दिखाई दी. ऐसा लगा जैसे मोदी का आत्मविश्वास अब high पर है. मोदी ने आज हर उस सवाल का जवाब दिया जो लोकसभा चुनाव में कम सीटें आने के बाद उठाए गए थे. मोदी ने जता दिया कि न तो मोदी की लोकप्रियता कम हुई है, न देश का मूड बदला है और न ही कांग्रेस बीजेपी को जीतने से रोक पाई है.
मोदी के आज के भाषण का दूसरा हिस्सा लोगों को ये बताने के लिए था कि कांग्रेस मुसलमानों के वोट पाने के लिए हिंदुओं को आपस में बांटती है. ये लोकसभा चुनाव में हिंदू वोटों के जातियों में बंटने के संदर्भ में था लेकिन आज लगा कि अब मोदी आश्वस्त हैं, कि काठ की हांडी बार बार नहीं चढ़ती. हरियाणा में बीजेपी को सब वर्गों के वोट मिले और इससे बीजेपी में एक नया विश्वास जागृत हुआ है और एंटी-मोदी मोर्चे का आत्मविश्वास हिल गया है.
इसका असर महाराष्ट्र, झारखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश और दिल्ली में देखने को मिल रहा है. महाराष्ट्र में .कांग्रेस लोकसभा चुनाव नतीजों के आधार पर ज्यादा सीटों पर दावा ठोंक रही थी, लेकिन हरियाणा के चुनाव नतीजों ने बाजी पलट दी. कांग्रेस की bargaining power खत्म हो गई. अब उद्धव ठाकरे इस बात का दबाव बना रहे हैं कि उन्हें महाविकास अघाड़ी की तरफ से मुख्यमंत्री पद का दावेदार घोषित किया जाए, चुनाव उनके नेतृत्व में लड़ा जाए.
यूपी में अखिलेश यादव ने 10 विधानसभा उपचुनावों में 6 सीटों के लिए अपने उम्मीदवारों का एकतरफा ऐलान कर दिया. अखिलेश यादव को ये बात तो लोकसभा चुनाव के वक्त ही समझ आ गई थी कि उत्तर प्रदेश में अलायन्स का फायदा समाजवादी पार्टी को कम कांग्रेस को ज्यादा हुआ है.मध्य प्रदेश और हरियाणा में कांग्रेस ने समाजवादी पार्टी को एक भी सीट नहीं दी. अखिलेश यादव कांग्रेस को जबाव तो देना चाहते थे, वो सही मौके के इंतजार में थे.हरियाणा के चुनाव नतीजों ने मौका दे दिया और अखिलेश ने उसे लपक लिया.
दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी ने ऐलान कर दिया कि विधानसभा चुनाव में कोई गठबंधन नहीं होगा. वैसे हकीकत ये है कि अरविन्द केजरीवाल हरियाणा में कांग्रेस की मदद से पैर जमाना चाहते थे लेकिन कांग्रेस को लग रहा था कि हवा उसके पक्ष में हैं, इसलिए कांग्रेस ने आखिरी वक्त तक केजरीवाल को लटकाए रखा और ऐन मौके पर अलायन्स से इंकार कर दिया. नाराज़ केजरीवाल ने सभी नब्बे सीटों पर उम्मीदवार उतार दिए. केजरीवाल का तो खाता भी नहीं खुला, लेकिन कांग्रेस का सत्ता में लौटने का सपना टूट गया.
Vintage Modi is back: Exposes Congress on caste
A day after the spectacular Haryana victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharpened his attack on Congress saying, the results of Haryana reflect the nation’s mood. He said, Congress was trying to spread its ‘hateful and poisonous agenda’ by dividing Hindus among caste lines for partisan ends. Modi said, “Congress never raises the issue of caste divisions within the Muslim community. Its formula is simple: keep Muslims as a vote bank by spreading fear, and divide Hindu society on caste lines to score electoral advantage…The same Congress leaders who raise caste division issue among Hindus remain mum about caste divisions among Indian Muslims”.
The Prime Minister’s tone and tenor of speech reminds one of Vintage Modi, whose self-confidence now seems to be on a high. Modi replied to all questions that were being raised after BJP’s seat tally was reduced in the Lok Sabha elections. He made it clear that neither has his popularity waned, nor has the nation’s mood changed for the Congress to stop his BJP juggernaut. Modi’s speech was meant to convey to the people that the Congress was trying to divide only Hindus, and not Muslims. This was in reference to the vote divisions that were noticed among Hindu castes during the Lok Sabha elections.
There is a Hindi proverb, ‘Kaath Ki Haandi Baar Baar Nahin Chadhti’ (you can deceive once, but not always). BJP got voters from all sections of society this time in Haryana and the party has regained its mojo.
On the other hand, the anti-Modi bloc appears to be demoralized and already knives are out among the allies against the ‘arrogant’ attitude of Congress party. The immediate consequences are being seen in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, UP and Delhi.
In UP, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav snubbed the Congress and unilaterally declared the names of six candidates out of 10 seats going for byelections, without consulting his ally. Akhilesh had already realized that the gains made in LS elections by Congress in UP was at the cost of Samajwadi Party, while in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, Congress refused to share a single seat with his party. The Congress was demanding five out of the 10 seats in UP assembly byelections. Akhilesh was waiting for the right moment, and he struck the day after the Haryana results were out.
In Maharashtra, Congress, which had been asking for more seats in Maha Vikas Aghadi, has now lost its bargaining power, and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray is pressing for the MVA to declare him as the chief ministerial candidate. The allies are now telling Congress that it derives its strength from INDIA bloc, and the party has no clout in the absence of an alliance.
In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party has declared that there would be no alliance with Congress for assembly polls. Arvind Kejriwal wanted a toehold in Haryana, but the Congress leaders, feeling the ‘wind’ blowing in favour of the party, kept the seat-sharing issue hanging and rejected AAP’s request at the last moment. A furious Kejriwal fielded his candidates in all the 90 seats in Haryana. Though his party drew a blank, it halted Congress from returning to power.
हरियाणा और जम्मू कश्मीर: मोदी पास, राहुल फेल
जम्मू कश्मीर और हरियाणा के चुनाव नतीजों ने सबको चौंकाया. दोनों राज्यों की जनता ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाया. दोनों राज्यों में स्पष्ट जनादेश दिया. लेकिन हरियाणा के चुनाव नतीजे तो ऐसे हैं कि जिसकी उम्मीद न बीजेपी को थी और न कांग्रेस को. बड़े बड़े सेफोलॉजिस्ट्स ने भी इस तरह के नतीजों की उम्मीद नहीं की थी. हरियाणा में 57 साल में पहली बार किसी पार्टी को लगातार तीसरी बार सरकार बनाने का मौका मिला है. बीजेपी हरियाणा में 90 में से 48 सीटें जीतकर पूर्ण बहुमत की सरकार बनाएगी. इतनी बड़ी जीत से बीजेपी के नेता भी चौंके और इतनी बुरी हार ने कांग्रेस को भी चौंकाया. कांग्रेस के नेता तो जीत के जश्न की तैयारी कर चुके थे, ढ़ोल-नगाड़े बजने लगे थे, पटाखे फूटने लगे थे, जलेबियां छन रही थीं, शंख बज रहे थे लेकिन दिन के बारह बजते बजते कांग्रेस के बारह बज गए. सब धरा रह गया और शाम होते-होते कांग्रेस ने EVM पर सवाल उठा दिए. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने कहा कि कांग्रेस को जनता ने नहीं, EVM ने हराया, हरियाणा के नतीजे स्वीकार्य नहीं हैं. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने कहा कि जिन विधानसभा सीटों में EVMs की बैटरी 99 परसेंट थी, वहीं कांग्रेस हारी, जहां EVMs की बैटरी साठ सत्तर परसेंट थी, वहां कांग्रेस जीती. ये इत्तेफाक नहीं हो सकता. लेकिन कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि जो होना था हो गया, रोने से काम नहीं चलेगा, अब कांग्रेस आला कमान की जिम्मेदारी है कि हार के कारणों का पता लगाए.
लेकिन अब सबके मन में एक ही सवाल है कि आखिर ये ऐतिहासिक उलटफेर हुआ कैसे? कांग्रेस से कहां गलती हुई? बीजेपी की कौन सी रणनीति काम कर गई? कांग्रेस सिर्फ हरियाणा में नहीं हारी. जम्मू कश्मीर में भी भले ही नेशनल कांन्फ्रेंस और कांग्रेस कं गठबंधन को बहुमत मिला हो लेकिन वहां भी कांग्रेस का प्रदर्शन निराशाजनक रहा. हरियाणा और जम्मू कश्मीर के नतीजों में राहुल गांधी के लिए क्या संदेश है?
हरियाणा
इसमें दो राय नहीं कि हरियाणा में नरेंद्र मोदी की जीत बीजेपी के लिए संजीवनी का काम करेगी. बीजेपी के जिन नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं को अपनी पार्टी की क्षमता पर शक़ होने लगा था, उनमें नई हिम्मत का संचार होगा. जिन लोगों के मन में ये सवाल था कि क्या मोदी की लोकप्रियता कम हुई है, उनको जवाब मिल गया होगा. जैसे बीजेपी को इस जीत की उम्मीद नहीं थी, वैसे ही कांग्रेस को इस हार की ज़रा भी आशंका नहीं थी.
ये हार कांग्रेस के उन नेताओं का मनोबल गिराएगी जिन्हें ये भरोसा हो चला था कि राहुल गांधी को कोई ऐसी शक्ति मिल गई है जिससे वो कांग्रेस को पुनर्जीवित कर देंगे. अब उन्हें लग रहा होगा कि राहुल की जड़ी-बूटी तो फेक निकली. हरियाणा में कांग्रेस ने सारी ताकत झोंक दी थी. लड़ाई इस बात के लिए नहीं हो रही थी कि पार्टी कितनी सीटें जीतेगी. संघर्ष इस बात पर होने लगा था कि जीत के बाद मुख्यमंत्री कौन बनेगा? जो राहुल गांधी सोच रहे थे कि अब वो एक के बाद एक प्रदेश जीतते जाएंगे और मोदी को हरा देंगे, उन्हें झटका लगेगा. जिन राहुल गांधी को मोदी के कंधे झुके हुए लगने लगे थे, उन्हें सपने में अब 56 इंच की छाती दिखाई देगी.
हरियाणा की ये जीत नरेंद्र मोदी में भी नई ऊर्जा का संचार करेगी और अब बीजेपी झारखंड और महाराष्ट्र में नए जोश के साथ लड़ेगी. महाराष्ट्र और झारखंड में कांग्रेस की bargaining power कम हो जाएगी. अब एक हरियाणा की जीत INDI अलायंस में राहुल गांधी की ताकत को कम कर देगी. मंगलवार को ही अलायंस के पार्टनर्स ने ये कहना शुरू कर दिया कि जहां कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के बीच सीधी टक्कर होती है, वहां कांग्रेस का जीतना मुश्किल हो जाता है. लेकिन सवाल ये है कि कांग्रेस की हार की वजह क्या है? इस सवाल का जवाब खोजने में कांग्रेस के नेताओं को वक्त लगेगा क्योंकि अभी वो हार के सदमे से ही नहीं उबरे हैं.
मोदी की ये बात सही है कि कांग्रेस जब-जब चुनाव हारती है तो EVM पर सवाल उठाती है, चुनाव आयोग पर इल्जाम लगाती है, ये ठीक नहीं है. केजरीवाल की ये बात सही है कि हरियाणा में कांग्रेस को अति आत्मविश्वास ले डूबा. कांग्रेस के नेता जीत पक्की मान चुके थे. राहुल को ये समझा दिया गया कि किसान बीजेपी के खिलाफ हैं, विनेश फोगाट के आने से जाटों और महिलाओं का वोट पक्का है, अग्निवीर स्कीम के कारण नौजवान भी बीजेपी के खिलाफ हैं, इसलिए अब बीजेपी की लुटिया डूबनी तय है. माहौल ऐसा बनाया गया मानो कांग्रेस की वापसी पक्की है.
इसका असर ये हुआ कि कुर्सी का झगड़ा शुरू हो गया. रणदीप सुरजेवाला कैथल से बाहर नहीं निकले और कुमारी सैलजा घर बैठ गईं. इसका कांग्रेस को भारी नुकसान हुआ. इस बार हरियाणा की जनता ने स्पष्ट संदेश दे दिया कि जो ज़मीन पर काम करेगा, जनता उसका साथ देगी. दूसरी बात, अब क्षेत्रीय और छोटी-छोटी परिवारवादी पार्टियों का दौर खत्म हो गया. जनता ने चौटाला परिवार को घर बिठा दिया. BSP और केजरीवाल को भी भाव नहीं दिया.
ये सही है कि शुरू में ऐसा लग रहा था कि हवा बीजेपी के खिलाफ है, दस साल की anti-incumbency थी लेकिन नरेन्द्र मोदी ने चुपचाप, खामोशी से रणनीति बनाई. सारा फोकस इस बात पर शिफ्ट कर दिया कि चुनाव सिर्फ हरियाणा का नहीं है, ये चुनाव बीजेपी और कांग्रेस के बीच किसी एक को चुनने का है, परिवारवाद और जातिवाद के खिलाफ चुनाव है, चुनाव नामदार और कामदार के बीच है. मोदी का फॉर्मूला काम आया और हरियाणा ने इतिहास रच दिया.
जम्मू कश्मीर
जम्मू कश्मीर के चुनाव नतीजे भी चौंकाने वाले हैं. नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस को उम्मीद से ज्यादा सीटें मिली और कांग्रेस का परफॉर्मेंस उम्मीद से ज्यादा खराब रहा. नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस और कांग्रेस गठबंधन ने 90 में से 48 सीटें जीतकर साफ बहुमत हासिल कर लिया. हालांकि इसमें कांग्रेस की सिर्फ 6 सीटें है, बाकी 42 सीटें नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस ने जीती. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि जम्मू की 43 सीटों में बीजेपी ने 29 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की है जबकि कश्मीर घाटी में उसका खाता भी नहीं खुल पाया. इस चुनाव में सबसे बड़ा झटका महबूबा मुफ्ती की पार्टी को लगा. महबूबा की पार्टी पीडीपी को सिर्फ 3 सीटों पर जीत हासिल हुई.
जम्मू में बीजेपी की जीत कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है. हैरानी की बात ये है कि कश्मीर घाटी में मोदी सरकार ने जम कर काम किया, पत्थरबाज गायब हो गए, दुकानें खुलने लगीं, सैलानी आने लगे, शिकारे चलने लगे, सिनेमा घर खुले, अस्पतालों में मुफ्त इलाज मिलने लगा. ऐसे कई काम गिनाए जा सकते हैं जिससे कश्मीर के लोगों को सुकून मिला, वे चैन की जिंदगी जीने लगे. बहुत सारे रिपोर्टर्स ने जब कश्मीर के लोगों के इंटरव्यू किए तो उन लोगों ने कैमरे पर इन बातों को माना. ये भी माना की आर्टिकल 370 हटने के बाद ये सब सुधार हुआ. लेकिन सब कुछ मानने के बाद वही लोग ये कहने में जरा भी नहीं हिचकिचाए कि वो मोदी को वोट नहीं देंगे. इसका पूरा फायदा नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस को मिला. हालांकि बीजेपी को वोट तो नहीं मिले लेकिन इस बात का सुकून मिला होगा कि कम से कम लोगों ने उनके काम की सराहना तो की. अब फारूक़ और उमर अब्दुल्ला की मुसीबत ये होगी कि उन्होंने लोगों से वादा तो कर दिया कि वो आर्टिकल 370 वापस लाएंगे, लेकिन वो ये काम नहीं कर पाएंगे क्योंकि ये फैसला लेने का हक़ सिर्फ देश की संसद को है. इसलिए जबतक फारूक़ और उमर अब्दुल्ला की सरकार रहेगी, उन्हें लोगों को इस बात का जवाब देना पड़ेगा.
मोदी बीजेपी की सबसे बड़ी ताकत हैं. मोदी हर चुनाव को पूरी शिद्दत के साथ लड़ते हैं, पूरी मेहनत करते हैं. हरियाणा की जीत अब मोदी को झारखंड और महाराष्ट्र के लिए रणनीति बनाने में मदद करेगी. मोदी की जीत से महाराष्ट्र और झारखंड में बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ताओं में नया विश्वास जागृत होगा. महाराष्ट्र के महायुती गठबंधन में बीजेपी की bargaining power बढ़ेगी. झारखंड में भी पार्टी और हिम्मत से लड़ेगी. सबसे बड़ा संदेश ये है कि लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान आरक्षण को लेकर कांग्रेस और दूसरे विरोधी दलों ने जो नैरेटिव खड़ा किया था, जो डर दलितों के मन में पैदा किया था, उस डर को खत्म करने में बीजेपी कामयाब हुई है. आने वाले दिनों में आप देखेंगे कि मोदी बाकी समस्याओं को एक-एक करके हल करेंगे. जैसे पेंशन स्कीम को नया रूप देकर सर्वसम्मत बनाया, वैसे किसानों, नौजवानों, रोजगार से जुड़े मुद्दों को एक-एक करके हल किया जाएगा. ये मोदी का आगे का रोडमैप है, जिसके संकेत मिलने लगे हैं.
Haryana and J&K: Modi Pass, Rahul Fail
The voters of Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir have given historic verdicts. They have given clear mandates, but the results have surprised everybody. Neither the BJP, nor the Congress, nor psephologists had any inkling of the results that were going to come in from Haryana. One point is now clear. Narendra Modi is BJP’s biggest strength. He fights elections with fervour and toils hard. The historic hat-trick in Haryana will fire up Modi to prepare his strategies for Jharkhand and Maharashtra elections. It will instill new confidence and energy among BJP workers in both the states. BJP’s bargaining power in Maharashtra’s Mahayuti alliance will increase.
The biggest message from Haryana verdict is that the narrative created by Congress and other opposition parties about caste reservation, by creating a sense of fear in the minds of Dalits, has now been nullified. In the coming weeks, one may find Modi trying to fix other problems, one by one. He has already reconfigured the pension scheme and brought unanimity. Problems relating to farmers, employment, youths will be resolved. This, in short, is Modi’s roadmap for the next few months.
And now, an analysis about Haryana and J&K assembly elections.
HARYANA
For the first time in 57 years, a party has got a third consecutive chance to form a government in Haryana. Even BJP leaders were surprised when the party won 48 out of a total of 90 seats, a clear majority. Congress bigwigs had to cancel their celebrations as trends came in. By evening, the party started alleging that EVMs (electronic voting machines) were tampered with. But Kumari Selja, the Dalit Congress leader, said there was no point cribbing and the party high command should find out the real reasons for the defeat.
Narendra Modi’s victory in Haryana will work as a ‘sanjeevani'(life-giving medicine) for the BJP. Those who were speaking about Modi’s waning popularity have been given a clear reply by the electorate. Congress leadership is now demoralized after having created a big hype about the possibility of winning Haryana polls. Those who were projecting Rahul Gandhi as having the Midas touch, will now find that his ‘herbal medicines’ have failed.
The Congress used all its fire power in Haryana, and the debate in the party during electioneering was not about how many seats it was going to win, but who would become the Chief Minister. For Rahul Gandhi, who was dreaming of ‘conquering’ one state after another, the Haryana result has come as a huge setback. Rahul used to say at his rallies that Modi’s shoulders have drooped after the Lok Sabha polls, but now he must be seeing Modi’s 56-inch chest in his dreams. The defeat in Haryana will surely reduce Rahul’s strength in the INDIA bloc. Already, one alliance partner (Shiv Sena UBT) from Maharashtra has remarked that Congress always finds it difficult to win, wherenever there is a straight contest between Congress and BJP. For Congress leaders, it will take time to find out the exact reasons why the party lost. They are yet to recover from the impact.
Narendra Modi is right when he says that whenever Congress loses, it questions EVMs and blames the Election Commission. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said, Congress lost in Haryana because of overconfidence. Congress leaders had taken victory in Haryana for granted and they had briefed Rahul Gandhi that the farmers, women, Jats and youths were against BJP. They were citing Agniveer, farmers’ agitation and Delhi women wrestlers’ agitation as examples. An atmosphere was created to project that Congress return to power was certain.
The result: Infighting began over who would become the CM. Randeep Singh Surjewala did not move out of Kaithal, Kumar Selja stayed at home for most part of the electioneering period, and the party had to bear the brunt. The voters of Haryana have given a clear message that they would support only those leaders who would work on the ground.
Secondly, the decimation of regional and small family-centric parties like INLD, JJP, shows that the days of dynastic politics are almost over. The voters have ruthlessly defeated the members of Chautala dynasty, and rejected Bahujan Samaj party and Kejriwal, too. It is true that in the early days of campaigning, the wind was blowing against the BJP because of the anti-incumbency factor after 10 years of rule. But Narendra Modi silently prepared his strategy.
The entire focus was shifted to project that this election was not about Haryana, but about picking the right choice between BJP and Congress. The message was sent that this was an election against dynastic politics and casteism, a fight between what Modi frequently says, ‘naamdaar'(those belonging to dynasty) vs ‘kaamdaar’ (those who work). Modi’s formula clicked and the voters of Haryana made history.
JAMMU & KASHMIR
The results of Jammu & Kashmir have also suprised many. National Conference won more seats that its leaders had expected, while Congress’ performace was poor. The NC-Congress alliance has got a clear majority of 48 in a House of 90. Out of this, Congress has won only six seats, while NC has won 42. Out of the 90 seats, 47 are in Kashmir Valley and 43 in Jammu region.
The interesting point is, BJP won 29 out of 43 seats in Jammu region, but could not open its account in Kashmir valley. The biggest setback was for Mehbooba Mufti’s JKPDP, which won only three seats. As the picture became clearer, NC leader Dr Farooq Abdullah describes the results as a people’s mandate for bringing back Article 370. He declared that his son Omar Abdullah will be the new CM. Omar has won from both seats, Ganderbal and Budgam.
BJP’s win in Jammu region is not a big achievement. The surprising part IS that in Kashmir Valley, though the common voters admitted that life has returned to normal after revocation of Article 370, with cinema halls reopening, stone throwers vanishing, yet they said clearly on camera that they would not vote for Modi. The gainer was National Conference. Though BJP did not get votes, at least it has the satisfaction that common people in the Valley have appreciated Modi’s work during the last five years.
Farooq Abdullah and his son will now be facing a Catch-22 situation. They have promised to bring back Article 30, but they know it quite well that it is the Parliament which has the power to take such a big decision. So, till the time the NC government stays in power, its leaders would still be searching for answers on this point.
Cocaine Kingpin’s Connection in Question
Congress party had to face a big embarassment on the last day of campaigning in Haryana assembly elections. BJP alleged that the kingpin in the Rs 5,600 crore cocaine seizure case, Tushar Goyal, arrested by Delhi Police on Wednesday, was appointed by Rahul Gandhi as the Delhi Youth Congress RTI Cell chief, and he had links with top Haryana Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s family. Congress swiftly reacted saying that Tushar Goyal was expelled from the party in 2022 because of “anti-party activities” and he was not connected with the Congress in any capacity any more. Delhi Police on Wednesday had seized more than 500 kg of cocaine of international quality from a godown owned by Tushar Goyal.
The seized cocaine was meant to be distributed in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra and other states. Police is trying to connect the links as to how cocaine reached the National Capital Region from different sea routes. BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi demanded, Congress should explain its “connections” with the drugs supplier. He also released pictures of Tushar Goyal with senior Congress leaders including Deepender Hooda, K. C. Venugopal and others. He demanded a probe into whether drugs money was used in the Haryana elections.
Tushar Goyal’s partner Himanshu and his driver Aurangzeb have also been arrested by police. Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Hooda said, allegations cannot be levelled merely on the basis of photographs because political leaders meet many people every day. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his Haryana rally connected the drugs issue with the seizure of several thousands crores worth drugs at Adani’s Mundhra port several years ago. He made no mention about the latest seizure by Delhi Police. The seizure of Rs 5,600 crore worth drugs by Delhi Police is, in itself a serious issue. The issue of “connection” of the drug supplier with Congress is even more serious. Congress leaders have admitted that Tushar Goyal was in the party for nearly 20 years. Cocaine and other drugs are widely used in New Year parties across India and this stock was meant for this occasion. I find Rahul Gandhi’s reaction surprising. He connected the drug seizure issue with Adani and alleged that Adani’s ports are being used as conduits for drugs trade, but PM Narendra Modi is silent. Rahul Gandhi did not say a word about the Rs 5,600 crore cocaine seizure in Delhi, nor did he react to pictures of Tushar Goyal with his closest confidante K.C.Venugopal. Rahul did not explain about Goyal’s Congress connections till two years ago. This necessarily creates doubts in the minds of public.
Either Rahul Gandhi should have avoided mentioning the issue of drugs or he should have explained about his party’s connection with a top drugs trader. BJP leaders are now making snide comments, saying, at least Rahul should have asked his Tushar Goyal about how drugs find their way to India. Congress party cannot wash off its hands from this issue by saying that Tushar Goyal was expelled from the party two years ago. The seizure of this huge consignment of drugs two days before the Haryana elections, pictures of the drugs trader with Congress MP Deepnder Hooda, police finding Deepender Hooda’s phone number from Tushar Goyal’s cellphone, can cause big damage to the prospects of Congress in Haryana elections. Congress party’s allegation that the drugs issue has been raised to affect the party’s prospects in Haryana elections, does not hold water. Had the police found any connection of the drugs trader with any BJP leader, Congress would have raised a similar hue and cry. In today’s world dominated by social media, a minor matter like a leader’s photograph with an accused, can become a big issue during elections. The seizure of more than 500 kg cocaine worth Rs 5,600 crore is, in itself, a big issue. This should not be seen only in the context of Haryana elections. This issue is going to reverberate in the corridors of Indian politics for a long time.

हरियाणा में चुनाव प्रचार के आखिरी दिन कांग्रेस को बड़ी परेशानी झेलनी पड़ी. दिल्ली में पकड़ी गई 5600 करोड़ रूपए की ड्रग्स के केस में जिस ड्रग कारोबार तुषार गोयल को पुलिस ने पकड़ा है, उसका कनेक्शन कांग्रेस से निकला. पुलिस ने बुधवार को दिल्ली में पांच सौ किलो से ज्यादा कोकेन बरामद की थी. तुषार गोयल को राहुल गांधी ने यूथ कांग्रेस के RTI सेल का दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया था. जो कोकेन तुषार गोयल की निशानदेही पर बरामद किया गया, वो पंजाब, हरियाणा, महाराष्ट्र और दूसरे राज्यों में सप्लाई किया जाना था. अब पुलिस इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि इतनी भारी मात्रा में इंटरनेशनल क्वालिटी की कोकेन तुषार गोयल ने किन-किन देशों से मंगवाई, ड्रग्स किस रूट से दिल्ली तक पहुंचा, इस रेकेट में और कौन-कौन लोग शामिल हैं .पुलिस सारी कड़ियां जोड़ने में लगी है. पुलिस ने अब तक इस मामले में कुल चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है लेकिन चूंकि तुषार गोयल का कनेक्शन कांग्रेस से जुड़ा था, इसलिए बीजेपी ने इसको लेकर राहुल गांधी से सवाल पूछे. सुधांशु त्रिवेदी ने तुषार गोयल की कांग्रेस के नेताओं दीपेंदर हुड्डा, के.सी.वेणुगोपाल के साथ खिंची तस्वीरें जारी की. ये भी दावा किया कि तुषार गोयल के फोन से कांग्रेस के सांसद दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा का मोबाइल नंबर भी मिला है.. दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा के साथ उसकी बहुत सारी पिक्चर्स भी हैं. सुधांशु त्रिवेदी ने पूछा कि अब कांग्रेस बताए कि ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है. वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता भूपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि नेताओं के साथ फोटो तो कोई भी खिंचवा लेता है, नेता सबका बैकग्राउंड थोड़े चेक करते हैं? भूपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि आरोपी की फोटो तो बीजेपी के नेता अनिल जैन के साथ भी है, उस पर बीजेपी क्या कहेगी? दिल्ली में 5600 करोड़ रु. की ड्रग्स का पकड़ा जाना एक गंभीर मसला है . इसके सप्लायर का कांग्रेस से कनेक्शन मिलना और भी गंभीर बात है. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने माना कि ड्रग सप्लायर तुषार गोयल 20 साल तक कांग्रेस में रहा, पर ड्रग्स का ये मामला वाकई में बहुत बड़ा है. जाहिर है New Year के मौके पर होने वाली पार्टियों के लिए सप्लाई मंगाई गई होगी पर इस मामले में राहुल गांधी की प्रतिक्रिया ने. राहुल गांधी ने ड्रग्स का मुद्दा उठाया, लेकिन ड्रग्स के मुद्दे को अडानी से जोड़ा. ये भी कहा कि अडानी के पोर्ट्स से देश में ड्रग्स की सप्लाई हो रही है, नरेन्द्र मोदी कुछ नहीं करते, लेकिन दिल्ली में 5600 करोड़ रु. की ड्रग्स मिलने का जिक्र तक नहीं किया. अपने करीबी के . सी. वेणुगोपाल की ड्रग्स सप्लायर के साथ तस्वीरों का जवाब भी नहीं दिया. तुषार गोयल के दो साल पहले तक के कांग्रेस कनेक्शन पर भी कोई सफाई नहीं दी.ये बातें शक पैदा करती हैं. राहुल गांधी या तो ड्रग्स का जिक्र ही ना करते और अगर किया था तो जो आरोप लगे हैं, उनका जवाब देते. अब बीजेपी के नेता कह रहे हैं कि राहुल गांधी अपनी पार्टी के नेता तुषार गोयल से ही पूछ लेते कि वो किस रास्ते से पांच सौ किलो ड्रग दिल्ली तक लाया. कांग्रेस सिर्फ ये कहकर पीछा नहीं छुड़ा ती कि तुषार गोयल को तो दो साल पहले पार्टी से निकाल दिया था. हरियाणा में वोटिंग से दो दिन पहले तुषार गोयल का पकड़ा जाना, दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा के साथ उसकी तस्वीरें और उसके मोबाइल में दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा का नंबर मिलना, कांग्रेस को नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है. कांग्रेस की ये सफाई किसी काम की नहीं है कि बीजेपी ने हरियाणा चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के लिए ये मामला उठाया. अगर कांग्रेस को बीजेपी के किसी नेता का ऐसा कनेक्शन मिल जाता तो वो भी इतना ही शोर मचाती. अगर उसे बीजेपी नेताओं की ऐसी तस्वीरें मिल जाती, तो वो भी उन्हें हवा में लहराती.आजकल तो छोटी-छोटी बातें चुनाव में बड़ा मुद्दा बन जाती हैं. लेकिन 5600 करोड़ की ड्रग्स की सप्लाई, 500 किलो कोकेन बहुत बड़ा मुद्दा है. इसे सिर्फ हरियाणा चुनाव से जोड़कर नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए. इस मामले की गूंज कई दिन तक सुनाई देगी.
प्रशांत किशोर की नई पार्टी : मैदान में सामने आकर लड़ो
गांधी जयंती 2 अक्टूबर को प्रशान्त किशोर औपचारिक रूप से पॉलिटिकल स्ट्रैटजिस्ट से नेता बन गए. प्रशान्त किशोर ने अपनी नई पार्टी बना ली. पार्टी का नाम है, जनसुराज पार्टी. पटना के वेटेरिनरी कॉलंज ग्राउंड में पूरे बिहार से पचास हजार से ज्यादा लोग जुटे. प्रशान्त किशोर ने एलान किया कि उनकी पार्टी न तो वामपंथी, और न ही दक्षिणपंथी विचारधारा अपनाएगी, वो सिर्फ इंसानियत की राह पर चलेगी, बिहार को नंबर वन राज्य बनाएंगे, बिहारियों के सम्मान के लिए काम करेंगे. पार्टी के झंडे पर बापू और बाबा साहब दोनों की फोटो होगी. प्रशान्त किशोर ने कहा कि अगर बिहार में उनकी पार्टी की सरकार बनती है तो एक घंटे के भीतर शराबबंदी को हटा देंगे, शराब से जो पैसा टैक्स के तौर पर मिलेगा, उससे स्कूल बनवाएंगे, बच्चों को पढ़ाएंगे क्योंकि अच्छी शिक्षा ही सारी परेशानियों से निजात दिला सकती है. प्रशान्त किशोर न पार्टी के अध्यक्ष होंगे, न मुख्यमंत्री पद के दावेदार. रिटायर्ड IFS अधिकारी मनोज भारती जनसुराज पार्टी के कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष होंगे. प्रशान्त किशोर की पार्टी के सभी बड़े फैसले नेतृत्व परिषद करेगी. दो साल पहले 2 अक्टूबर को प्रशांत किशोर ने चंपारण से जनसुराज यात्रा की शुरूआत की थी. 2 साल में उनकी यात्रा बिहार के साढ़े 5 हजार गांवों में गई, 17 जिलों में घूम कर प्रशांत किशोर ने लोगों को अपने साथ जोड़ा. इसके बाद जनसुराज पार्टी का एलान किया. जनसुराज पार्टी बिहार के अगले इलेक्शन में सभी 242 सीटों पर उम्मीदवार उतारेगी. मंच पर प्रशांत किशोर के साथ पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री देवेंद्र यादव, पूर्व सांसद मुनाज़िर हसन, पूर्व एमएलसी रामबली चंद्रवंशी, कर्पूरी ठाकुर की पोती जागृति ठाकुर, मनोज भारती भी मौजूद थे.

प्रशान्त किशोर के मैदान में उतरने से बिहार की राजनीतिक पार्टियों में हलचल है. सबकी नजर प्रशान्त किशोर की रणनीति पर है. JD-U के महासचिव अशोक चौधरी ने कहा कि प्रशांत किशोर पहले पैसा लेकर चुनाव लड़वाते थे और अब पैसा बनाने के लिए खुद चुनाव लड़ेंगे. केन्द्रीय मंत्री और LJP अध्यक्ष चिराग पासवान ने कहा, चुनाव कोई भी लड़ सकता है, लेकिन फैसला तो जनता करती है. लालू यादव की बेटी मीसा भारती ने प्रशान्त किशोर की पार्टी को बीजेपी की बी टीम बता दिया. बीजेपी, आरजेडी और जेडीयू के नेताओं की बात सुनकर एक बात तो साफ दिख रही है कि प्रशान्त किशोर की एंट्री से सब परेशान हैं. प्रशान्त किशोर राजनीति में नया नाम नहीं है, लेकिन नेता के तौर पर नए हैं. वह अचानक राजनीति में नहीं कूदे हैं. दो साल तक बिहार के गांव-गांव की खाक छानने के बाद मैदान में उतरे हैं, इसलिए उन्हें जनता की नब्ज़ पता है, उनका विजन स्पष्ट है, उन्हें रास्ता भी पता है, लक्ष्य भी है. प्रशान्त किशोर ने पार्टी बनाई, अच्छा किया. बिहार को एक नई सोच की जरूरत है. साफ और सच्ची बात कहने वाले लीडर की आवश्यकता है. प्रशांत किशोर ने जिस तरह से पार्टी में फैसले लेने की और उम्मीदवारों के चयन की प्रक्रिया तैयार की है, वो भी इंप्रैसिव है. मैं उनकी बस एक ही बात से सहमत नहीं हूं. प्रशांत किशोर का ये कहना कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री नहीं बनूंगा सही विचार नहीं है. अगर वह वाकई में बिहार और बिहारियों को उनका हक दिलाने के लिए लड़ना चाहते हैं, तो उन्हें front foot पर आकर खेलना होगा ,राजनीति में non playing captain की कोई जगह नहीं होती. ये कहने से काम नहीं चलेगा कि मैं नहीं बनूंगा, पार्टी किसी और को चुनेगी, मैं तो फिर से पैदल चलूंगा, इससे बिहार के लोगों के मन में भ्रम पैदा होगा. प्रशांत किशोर को बिहार की जनता के सामने साफ विकल्प देना चाहिए. अपने आप को मुख्यमंत्री पद का उम्मीदवार घोषित करना चाहिए. लोगों के सामने स्पष्ट विकल्प हो कि वो प्रशांत किशोर को अपना नेता मानते हैं या नहीं, उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर देखना चाहते हैं या नहीं. पिछले दो साल में जहां जहां प्रशांत किशोर गए हैं, लोगों ने उनकी बात सुनी है, उन पर भरोसा किया है. उन्हें जन सुराज के नेता के तौर पर देखा है. इसलिए कोई और नेता कैसे हो सकता है? प्रशांत किशोर के पास जिम्मेदारी से पीछे हटने का ऑप्शन नहीं है. वह जन सुराज का फेस हैं और ये फैसला बिहार की जनता करेगी कि वो इस face को पसंद करती है या नहीं.
Prashant Kishor’s new party: He should lead it from the front
Political strategist Prashant Kishor formally became a ‘neta’ on October 2, when he launched his Jan Suraj Party in Patna. More than 50,000 people from all over Bihar attended his meeting. Prashant Kishor declared his party would follow neither the Left nor the Right path, but will tread the “humanist path”. His party flag will bear the pictures of Gandhi and Ambedkar. Prashant Kishor promised to remove prohibition in Bihar within one hour if his party comes to power. Retired Indian Foreign Service officer Manoj Bharti will serve as the party’s working president and all decisions will be taken at the ‘Leadership Council’. Present on the dais were former Union Minister Devendra Yadav, former MP Monazir Hassan, Karpoori Thakur’s granddaughter Jagriti Thakur, former IPS officer from Assam Anand Mishra and others. Most of the leaders in Jan Suraaj Party have no political background, but Prashant Kishor promises to make Bihar the No.1 state in India.
RJD leader Misa Bharti described Prashant Kishor’s party as the “B team of BJP’. Going through the reactions of BJP, RJD and JD-U leaders, one thing is clear: all these parties are worried after Prashant Kishor’s entry into politics. Prashant Kishore is not a new name in Indian politics, but as a political leader, his avatar is a new one. For two years, he visited nearly six thousand villages in Bihar before launching his new party. He can feel the pulse of the people and his vision is clear. He knows the path that he has charted, and he is clear about his aim. Bihar needs a party with a new outlook, a leader who can call a spade, a spade. The selection process for candidates and the process of decision making in the new party are quite impressive. I only disagree on one point. Prashant Kishor has clearly said, he is not going to become the chief minister. I think, this is not a correct idea.
If Prashant Kishor really wants to fight to give the people of Bihar their due rights, he must come forward and play on the front foot. There is no place for a ‘non-playing captain’ in politics. There is no point saying, ‘I won’t become the CM, the party will elect somebody else, I will undertake padyatra again’. These remarks are going to create confusion in the minds of voters. Prashant Kishor must place clear options before the people of Bihar. He must declare himself the chiefministerial candidate. Let people get a clear choice whether they want to opt for Prashant Kishor as their leader and chief minister or not. For the last two years, the villagers of Bihar listened to Prashant Kishor’s speeches. Many of them reposed their trust in him as a leader of Jan Suraj Party. How can there be another leader in his place? Prashant Kishor has no option to back out from his responsibility. He is the ‘face’ of Jan Suraj Party and the people of Bihar will decide whether they like this ‘face’ or not.
