The historic, spectacular inauguration of Ram Mandir by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not only watched by thousands of devotees in Ayodhya, but also by millions of Indians on big screens across India and abroad. Bells tolled in almost all the major temples, as Modi performed the Pran Pratistha of Lord Ram’s exquisite idol in the presence of dignitaries, film and sports celebrities, industrialists and heads of Hindu religious sects. This was followed by nightlong celebrations in cities and towns, with people lighting ‘diyas’ outside their homes amidst fireworks. It was a sort of second Deepawali, the day when India celebrates the homecoming of Lord Ram after spending 14 years in exile. The day after, on Tuesday, when the doors were opened, nearly three lakh devotees flocked to the shrine to watch the ‘aarti’ causing security issues. In one of his most powerful speeches, Prime Minister Modi in his 36-minute address exhorted the young generation to come forward to lay the foundation for building a new India for the next one thousand years. “Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai”(This is the time, the right time), he said. In phrases, loaded with emotion and political message, Modi said: “Ram is not fire, he is energy.” He said, “some people were warning that the construction of Ram temple will start a firestorm. I want to tell them, Ram is not fire, Ram is energy. Ram is not Chinta (worry), but Chintan (thought), Ram is not dispute, Ram is Samadhan (solution)”. In a voice choked with emotion, Modi said, “Aaj Hamaare Ram Aa Gaye Hain” (Our Lord Ram has finally arrived). He will no longer stay in a tent, he will reside in a grand temple…. A thousand years from now, people will discuss this date, this moment….January 22, 2024 is not just a date on the calendar. It marks the beginning of a new Wheel of Time (Kaal Chakra). Today, we have been rewarded for centuries-long patience. ..This nation will now write a new history.” RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, in his speech, called for “shunning ego and staying united to make India the Vishwaguru (world leader).” Indians living in the United States, United Kingdon, Russia, Australia, Denmark, Mauritius, Singapoire, Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka watched Modi’s speech preceded by the consecration ceremony. The new idol of Ram Lala (Lord Ram as a five-year-old boy) was decked with meticulously crafted ornaments studded with emeralds, diamonds, rubies and other precious stones. The chest of the Ram idol was adorned with ‘Kaustubh Mani’ gemstone. The consecration ceremony was conducted by Acharya Laxmikant Dixit and his disciples. UP governor Anandiben Patel and chief minister Yogi Adityanath were present at the ceremony. Conch shells were blown and the air was rent with shouts of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ after the ceremony was over. IAF helicopters showered flower petals on the assembled devotees. Among those present were Reliance group chief Mukesh Ambani, mega stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, Swami Ramdev, Rambhadracharya, Uma Bharti, Sadhvi Ritambhara, top actors from Mumbai film industry, and other celebrities. The level of participation of the common people in the festivities in Ayodhya and in almost all major cities of India were clearly an eyeopener for those who were opposing the consecration event and its timing. IN Karnataka, chief minister Siddaramaiah, a leading Congress leader, opened a new Ram temple in K R Puram, Bengaluru, while Congress leader Deependra Hooda opened another Ram temple in Patauda village of Jhajjar, Haryana. Himachal Pradesh former CM Late Virbhadra Singh’s son and state minister Vikramaditya Singh attended the consecration event in Ayodhya, disregarding the official Congress line that it was Modi’s “political event”. In Delhi, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party leaders took part in Ram processions, havans and bhandaras (food distribution). In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray prayed at Kalaram temple in Nashik with his family. In Kolkata, chief minister Mamata Banerjee took out a rally with priests of several religions, and addressed a public meeting where she targeted BJP for trying to garner votes in the name of Lord Ram. For people who think on political lines, the natural question that arises is: how much will this event affect the forthcoming general elections and whether Modi will be able to garner advantage. I think the picture is quite clear. There is religious fervour among people cutting across all castes and communities, and almost the entire nation is now in deep devotion of Lord Ram. Naturally, Modi is going to gain advantage. In his speech, Modi spoke about the ardent tribal female devotee Shabri and the boatman devotee Nishad Raj. Modi explained the significance of Lord Ram to the young generation. He showered petals on the workers who built the Ram temple in Ayodhya. These are messages which are going to have effect on national politics and on the forthcoming elections. Opposition leaders do understand the significance of these messages. They had been questioning why Modi is in a hurry to perform the consecration ceremony in a partially built temple, why he took up the responsibility of being Mukhya Yajmaan, why Modi is trying to corner the devotional topic of Lord Ram. But opposition leaders realized soon that such questions have no effect on common people. Even the Shankaracharyas who were raising questions on the event, have now changed their tune. Leaders like Siddaramaiah, Arvind Kejriwal and others went to temples to offer prayers to Lord Ram and took part in religious events on Monday. They not only did this, but also shared their pictures on social media handles. Most of the leaders have now realized that they will have to seek the blessings of Lord Ram, whatever may be the official party line. There is a popular Hindi proverb – “Ab Pachhtaye Hot Kya, Jab Chidiya Chug Gayi Khet” (meaning: There’s no use crying over spilt milk). When the man on the street finds the original Ram devotee in the form of Narendra Modi, why should anybody bother to go to duplicates? I have not an iota of doubt that the Pran Pratistha ceremony has infused new life in BJP. Leaders opposing Modi are now finding it difficult to save their political Vase. The biggest losers will be Rahul Gandhi and his Congress party. In their blind opposition to Modi, they opposed the Ram temple. The Congress party has a large number of leaders and workers who are real devotees of Lord Ram. Several of these leaders went to Ayodhya to attend the event. A large number of Congress supporters lighted diyaas on Monday night. They feel that Sonia Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge should have visited the consecration event. The policy of boycotting the event was not the right one. On the other hand, BJP policy is quite clear. People may ask why no top BJP leader was seen at Ayodhya event, except Modi and Yogi. Top leaders like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, J P Nadda were busy attending events in several temples across India, and they are going to lead thousands of party supporters in the coming days to visit Ayodhya for ‘darshan’ of Lord Ram. The din is not going to die down. The coming weeks and months will see thousands converging on Ayodhya to visit the Ram Mandir. This was the reason why Modi said: “Ram is the samaadhan (solution). This is the time. The right time.”

22 जनवरी 2024 एक ऐसी तारीख है जो भारत के इतिहास में हमेशा के लिए दर्ज़ रहेगा. पूरे देश में दिवाली मनाई गई, घर-घर गली-गली दीप जलाए गए, पांच सौ साल के बाद भगवान राम फिर अयोध्या में पधारे, भव्य राम मंदिर में विराजे, अयोध्या पूरी तरह जगमग है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पूरे विधि विधान से, वैदिक परंपराओं के साथ रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की. राम जन्मभूमि पर दिव्य मंदिर का उद्घाटन किया. रामलला के स्वागत में देश भर के मंदिरों को सजाया गया. हर जगह जोश, उमंग, उत्साह, भक्ति है. हर जगह राम नाम का प्रताप, राम की शक्ति और प्रभु राम के प्रति आस्था का सागर दिखा. रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के साथ ही मोदी का 11 दिन का व्रत पूरा हुआ. रामलला को भोग लगाने, उनकी आरती और साष्टांग प्रणाम के बाद मोदी ने प्रसाद ग्रहण करके अपना अनुष्ठान पूरा किया. जब रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का अनुष्ठान अयोध्या में चल रहा था, उस वक्त पूरे देश के मंदिरों में करोड़ों रामभक्त इसका लाइव टेलीकास्ट देख रहे थे. उत्सव तो अयोध्या में हो रहा था लेकिन इसमें पूरी दुनिया के रामभक्त शामिल थे. अमेरिका, ब्रिटेन, रूस, आस्ट्रेलिया, डेनमार्क, मारीशस, सिंगापुर, थाईलैंड, इंडोनेशिया और श्रीलंका समेत तमाम देशों में रामलला के स्वागत में प्रभात फेरियां निकाली गईंस दीवाली मनाई गई, आतिशबाज़ी हुई, मिठाइयां बांटी गईं. हमारे देश में तो हर गली चौराहे पर रामनाम का संकीर्तन हुआ, भंडारा हुआ. मोदी ने कहा कि पांच सौ सालों की तपस्या, बलिदान और धैर्य का सुखद परिणाम मिला है. रामलला टेंट से भव्य राम मंदिर में पधारे हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि जो लोग कहते थे राम मंदिर बनेगा तो देश में आग लग जाएगी, भक्ति का ये सैलाब देखने के बाद उन्हें भी समझ आ जाना चाहिए कि राम आग नहीं, ऊर्जा हैं, राम देश की चिंता नहीं, चिंतन हैंस राम विवाद नहीं, समाधान है. राम अतीत नहीं, अनंत हैं, राम मंदिर सिर्फ देव मंदिर नहीं, राष्ट्र मंदिर है. सनातन संस्कृति का अमिट प्रमाण है. मोदी ने कहा कि एक यज्ञ तो पूरा हुआ, अब आगे क्या? अब प्रभु राम को परिश्रम का प्रसाद चढ़ाना है, भारत को विश्वगुरू बनाना है, भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाना है. मोदी आस्था से ओत-प्रोत थे, भक्ति से भरे थे. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के अगले दिन सुबह ही अयोध्या में करीब 3 लाख लोग रामलला का दर्शन करने के लिए मंदिर पहुंच गए. रामलला का रूप दिव्य है, आंखों में बसने वाला है. ये विग्रह पांच वर्ष के बालक राम का है. 51 इंच लंबी श्यामल मूर्ति को जो मुकुट पहनाया गया है, वो उत्तर भारतीय परंपरा का प्रतीक है. सोने के इस मुकुट में पन्ना, माणिक्य, हीरा और दूसरे जवाहरात लगाए गए हैं. मुकुट के बीचो-बीच सूर्य भगवान की आकृति बनाई गई है. जो कुंडल पहनाए गए हैं, वो सोने के बने हुए हैं. इन कुंडलों में हीरा, पन्ना और माणिक्य लगे हैं. कुंडलों को मोर की आकृति में ढाला गया है. राम के गले में लगा कंठहार चंद्रमा की आकृति का है, जिसमें बारीक हीरे जवाहरात लगे हैं. रामलला के वक्ष स्थल पर कौस्तुभ मणि पहनाई गई है. इस कौस्तुभ मणि के बीच में एक बड़ा सा माणिक्य लगाया गया है और उसके चारों तरफ़ छोटे छोटे हीरे लगे हैं. ये परंपरा है कि भगवान विष्णु के अवतारों को कौस्तुभ मणि पहनाई जाती है. इसीलिए, रामलला को भी कौस्तभु मणि पहनाई गई. रामलला के गले में एक हार भी पहनाया गया है. सोने के पांच तारों से बने इस हार में भी पन्ने जड़े गए हैं और नीचे की ओर एक कर्णफूल भी हार में लगा हुआ है. एक और हार भी पहनाया गया है जिसका नाम वैजयंतिका है. ये रामलला के गले में डाला गया, सबसे लंबा हार है, जो वैष्णव परंपराओं के प्रतीक चिह्नों से आभूषित है. वैजयंतिका में सुदर्शन चक्र, कमल, शंख और मंगल कलश बनाए गए हैं. भगवान को प्रिय फूलों जैसे कि चंपा, पारिजात कुंड और तुलसी की आकृतियां भी इस हार में उकेरी गई हैं. प्रतिमा की कमर में करधनी पहनाई गई है, तरह तरह के हीरे जवाहरात इस करधनी में जड़े गए हैं. इनमें हीरे, पन्ना, मोती और माणिक्य शामिल हैं. राम के दोनों हाथों में भुजबंद पहनाए गए हैं, जो सोने के बने हैं और इनमें भी क़ीमती रत्न जड़े हैं. भगवान की कलाई में हीरे जवाहरात जड़े सोने के कंगन भी पहनाए गए हैं. इसके अलावा, रामलला की मूर्ति को हीरे और मोतियों से जड़ी अंगूठियां अथवा मुद्रिकाएं भी पहनाई गई हैं. रामलला के पैरों में पैंजनियां पहनाई गई हैं, तो बाएं हाथ में सोने का धनुष और दाहिने हाथ में सोने का बाण है. भगवान के पैरों के नीचे कमल की आकृति बनाई गई है, जिसको सोने की माला से सजाया गया है. रामलला की इस ख़ूबसूरत प्रतिमा के ऊपर सोने का एक छत्र भी लगाया गया है. राम, बनारसी वस्त्र की पीताम्बर धोती तथा लाल रंग के अंगवस्त्रम से सुशोभित हैं. इन वस्त्रों पर शुद्ध सोने की ज़री और तारों से काम किया गया है जिनमें वैष्णव संप्रदाय के मंगल चिह्न, शंख, पद्म, चक्र और मोर अंकित हैं. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के लिए भारत की 150 से भी अधिक परंपराओं, धर्म, संप्रदाय, पूजा पद्धति और परंपराओं के संत, महामंडलेश्वर, मंडलेश्वर, श्रीमहंत, महंत इस कार्यक्रम में आमंत्रित किए गए थे. नागा साधुओं के साथ साथ 50 से अधिक आदिवासी, गिरिवासी, तातवासी, द्वीपवासी आदिवासी परंपराओं के प्रमुख व्यक्तियों को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में बुलाया गया था. मोदी ने सबसे मुलाक़ात की,
मोदी भव्य राममंदिर बनाने के काम में लगे श्रमजीवियों से भी मिले. उनपर फूल बरसाए. आज मोदी ने दिखाया कि साधना में कितनी शक्ति होती है, राम नाम का क्या प्रभाव है. ये भी पूरे देश में दिख रहा है. ये सही है कि आज सनातन संस्कृति के लिए ऐतिहासिक पल है. पांच सौ साल के बाद अयोध्या का पुनरुद्धार हुआ है. अयोध्या में एक बार फिर रामलला लौटे हैं. ये दिन तो प्रतिफल है, उस तपस्या का, जो अनगनित रामभक्तों ने अनवरत की. मैने योगी आदित्यनाथ से अयोध्या में हुए संघर्ष की, बलिदानों की गाथा सुनी तो कलेजा भर आया. उमा भारती और साध्वी ऋतंभरा को बरसों बाद गले मिलकर खुशी के आंसू बहाते देखा. स्वामी रामदेव और रामभद्राचार्य को रामलला के चरणों में बैठे देखा. मुकेश अंबानी, अमिताभ बच्चन, रजनीकांत जैसे प्रसिद्ध लोगों को रामलला के सामने शीश नवाते देखा. RSS प्रमुख मोहन भागवत से पूरे देश को आपसी झगड़े भूलकर भाईचारा लाने का संदेश सुना. फिर लगा कि आज सिर्फ राम मंदिर का उद्घाटन नहीं हुआ. सिर्फ भगवान राम की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा नहीं हुई. देश के लिए एक नए भविष्य का सूत्रपात हुआ. लेकिन ये अवसर पांच सौ साल बाद आया है. देश भर के रामभक्तों में उत्साह है, खुशी है. देशभर का जो माहौल है, देशवासियों में जो उत्साह है, वह उन सभी लोगों की आंखें खोलने वाला है जो अब तक राम मंदिर का विरोध कर रहे थे. रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के मुहूर्त पर सवाल उठा रहे थे. इसीलिए जब देशभर के मंदिरों में भक्तों की भीड़ बढ़ी, देशभर में राम नाम के जयकारे गूंजने लगे, तो विरोधी दलों के बड़े बड़े नेता भी मंदिरों की तरफ गए. कोई रामनामी चोला ओढ़कर सड़क पर निकला तो किसी ने खुद को रामभक्त दिखाने के लिए रामनाम का जप शुरू कर दिया. जिस वक्त अयोध्या में राम मंदिर का उद्घाटन हो रहा था, उस वक्त कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री सिद्धरामैया बेंगलुरु में भघवान राम के जयकारे लगा रहे थे, बैंगलूरू के के आर पुरम में राम मंदिर का उद्घाटन कर रहे थे, पिछले 10 साल से ये मंदिर बन रहा था, मंदिर को स्थानीय लोगों ने बनवाया है लेकिन उद्घाटन करने सिद्धारमैया पहुंच गए और इसके बाद उन्होंने कहा कि वो जल्दी ही अयोध्या जाकर भगवान के दर्शन जरूर करेंगे. कांग्रेस के दूसरे नेता भी आज भक्ति रस में डूबे दिखे. दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने झज्जर के पटौदा गांव में राम मंदिर का उद्घघाटन किया और प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की. हुड्डा एक खुली जीप में सवार हुए, हाथ में भगवा झंडा था और जुबां पर सियावर रामचंद्र की जय के नारे थे. नोट करने वाली बात ये है कि कांग्रेस के बड़े नेताओं ने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में शामिल होने से इंकार कर दिया था लेकिन कांग्रेस के कुछ नेता पार्टी की नाराजगी को नंजरअंदाज करके अयोध्या गए, रामलला के दर्शन किए. हिमाचल प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री वीरभद्र सिंह के बेटे और राज्य सरकार में मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह भी अयोध्या के कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए. उन्होंने कहा कि ये ऐतिहासिक दिन है, हर हिन्दू के लिए गर्व का मौका है, इसलिए वो अयोध्या आए हैं. जो लोग राजनीति के लिहाज से सोचते हैं, उनके मन में ये सवाल जरूर होगा कि राममंदिर बनने का का प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का, मोदी के मुख्य यजमान बनने का, आने वाले चुनाव पर क्या असर होगा?क्या मोदी को इसका फायदा होगा? मुझे लगता है कि यहां मामला साफ है. देश में जो वातावरण बना है. जिस तरह से पूरा देश राममय हो गया उससे नरेन्द्र मोदी को फायदा होगा ही होगा. मोदी ने माता शबरी की बात की, निषादराज से भगवान राम के रिश्तों का जिक्र किया. मोदी ने नौजवानों को राम का महत्व समझाया. मोदी ने मंदिर बनाने वाले श्रमिकों पर पुष्पवर्षा की. ये सारी बातें ऐसी हैं जिनका असर देश की जनता के दिलो दिमाग पर पड़ेगा, देश की राजनीति पर पड़ेगा, चुनाव पर पड़ेगा. इस बात को विरोधी दलों क नेता भी समझते हैं, इसलिए उन्होंने पहले दिन से ही कहना शुरू कर दिया ता कि बीजेपी ने राम पर कब्जा कर लिया है, चुनाव के मौके पर आधे अधूरे मंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा क्यों की जा रही है? मोदी किस हैसियत से यजमान बने? शंकराचार्य भी प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का विरोध कर रहे हैं, लेकिन विरोधी दलों के नेताओं को दो चार दिन में समझ भी आ गया कि जनता पर ऐसी बातों का कोई असर नहीं हो रहा. जो शंकराचार्य दिग्विजिय सिंह के कहने पर मोदी विरोध करने के लिए मैदान में उतरे थे, वे भी घबरा कर पलट गए. बदला माहौल देखकर वो शंकराचार्य भी मोदी की गुणगान करने लगे. सिद्धारमैया ने अपने राम मंदिर का उद्घाटन कर दिया. केजरीवाल ने रामलला की तस्वीर लगाकर अयोध्या में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की बधाई दे दी. विरोधी दलों के ज्यादातर नेता आज मंदिर गए, भगवान राम की पूजा की. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के बाद रामलला की मूर्ति की फोटो अपने सोशल मीडिया हैडल पर शेयर की. सबको लगा कि पार्टी की लाइन कुछ भी हो, जनता के प्रकोप से बचना है तो राम की शरण में जाना ही पड़ेगा. लेकिन कहावत है ‘अब पछताए होत क्या, जब चिडिया चुग गई खेत’ . जब लोगों के पास ओरिजिनल रामभक्त मोदी मौजूद हैं, तो कोई किसी डुप्लीकेट के पास क्यों जाएगा? मुझे कोई संदेह नहीं कि आज राममंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा ने बीजेपी में भी नए प्राण फूंक दिए. राम का विरोध करने वाले नेताओं को अपने राजनीतिक प्राण को बचाना मुश्किल हो रहा है. और इसका सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान राहुल गांधी और उनकी कांग्रेस को होगा क्योंकि उन्होंने मोदी विरोध के चक्कर में राममंदिर का विरोध कर दिया. काँग्रेस में बड़ी संख्या में ऐसे नेता और कार्यकर्ता हैं जो राम भक्त हैं .इनमें से कई नेता आज अयोध्या पहुंचे, बड़ी संख्या में काँग्रेस समर्थकनों ने शाम को दिए जलाए। उन्हें लगता है सोनिया और खरगे को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में जान चाहिए था, ये बॉयकाट की नीति सही नहीं है. दूसरी तरफ बीजेपी की नीति साफ है. आज मोदी और योगी का अलावा बीजेपी का कोई बड़ा नेता प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समारोह में दिखाई नहीं दिया. इसका मतलब भी समझने की जरूरत है. आने वाले दिनों में राजनाथ सिंह, अमित शाह, नितिन गड़करी, जे पी नड्डा जैसे बड़े बड़े नेता देश भर के अलग अलग कोनों से हजारों भक्तों के साथ अयोध्य़ा जाएंगे, रामलला के दर्शन करेंगे, और आज जो हुआ उसकी गूंज कई महीनों तक पूरे देश में सुनाई दजेगी. शायद इसीलिए मोदी ने कहा- राम जी समाधान है, अभी समय है, सही समय है.

इस वक्त पूरा देश राममय है. हर जगह सिर्फ रामभक्ति में डूबे लोग दिख रहे हैं. शुक्रवार को अयोध्या के भव्य मंदिर में विराजमान होने वाले रामलला की छवि पहली बार रामभक्तों ने देखी. उस मूर्ति के दर्शन पहली बार हुए, इसीलिए करोड़ों रामभक्त भाव विभोर हैं. अयोध्या में तो उत्सव जैसा माहौल है. देशभर से पहुंचे रामभक्त तो जैसे सुधबुध खो बैठे हैं. हर तरफ सिर्फ राम नाम का शोर है. कहीं भजन चल रहे हैं, कोई डमरू बजा रहा है, कोई नाच रहा है, कोई खुशी में रो रहा है. सबकी ज़ुबान पर एक ही बात है ,रामलला आ गए, जय श्रीराम. सिर्फ अपने देश के नहीं, दुनिया के तमाम देशों से रामभक्त अयोध्या पहुंचे हैं.जो नहीं पहुंच पाए, उन्होंने रामलला के लिए तमाम तरह के उपहार भेजे हैं. रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में सिर्फ कुछ घंटे का वक्त बाकी है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि वह पूरी श्रद्धा और भक्ति के साथ धर्माचार्यों के बताए यम नियम का कठोरता से पालन कर रहे हैं. मोदी इस वक्त पूर्ण व्रत पर हैं, दिन में सिर्फ एक बार फलाहार कर रहे हैं और नरियल का पानी पी रहे हैं. शनिवार को मोदी तमिलनाडु के तिरुचिरपल्ली में श्री रंगनाथस्वामी मोदिर गए, पूजा की और कम्बन रामायण के श्लोक सुने. मंदिर के पुजारियों ने रामलला को पहनाने के लिए बेशकीमती वस्त्र मोदी को भेंट किया. पहली बार ‘आपकी अदालत’ में भी जय श्रीराम के नारे लगे. ‘आपकी अदालत’ में भी माहौल राममय हो गया. इस बार ‘आपकी अदालत’ में साध्वी ऋतंभरा मेरी मेहमान हैं. साध्वी ऋतंभरा उन संतों में से हैं जो अयोध्या आंदोलन में सबसे आगे रहीं. वह नेता नहीं हैं, राजनीति में नहीं हैं, किसी पार्टी में नहीं हैं….लेकिन जब उन्होंने ‘आपकी अदालत’ में अयोध्या आंदोलन के वक्त रामभक्तों पर किए गए जुल्मों की बात की और ये कहा कि आज जब रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का वक्त आया है, तो उस वक्त की पीड़ा बहुत हल्की महसूस होती है. साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने भविष्य की बात कही. उन्होंने कहा कि राम मंदिर तो बन गया, अयोध्या आंदोलन का फल मिल गया लेकिन अभी काशी और मथुरा बाक़ी हैं. साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने कहा कि अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के सबूत तो जमीन के नीचे छुपे थे, इसलिए आंदोलन करना पड़ा,कोर्ट में लड़ना पड़ा लेकिन काशी में तो विश्वनाथ के नंदी खुद गवाही दे रहे हैं, बता रहे हैं, भोलेनाथ कहां बैठे हैं. मथुरा में भी पत्थर गवाही दे रहे हैं, इसलिए अगर हिन्दुओं को काशी और मथुरा दे दिए जाएं तो फिर उन तीस हजार मंदिरों की मांग नहीं जाएगी जिन्हें मुगल काल में तोड़ा गया. साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने ‘आपकी अदालत’ में उस वक्त के किस्से सुनाए जब वो देश भर में राम मंदिर निर्माण के लिए अलख जगा रही थीं, रामभक्तों के संघर्ष और उस वक्त मुलायम सिंह की सरकार के जुल्म, पुलिस की प्रताड़ना की बहुत सारी दिल दहलाने वाली घटनाओं की याद दिलाई. कैसे राम भक्तों पर गोलियां चलीं, कैसे सरयू का पानी लाल हुआ, उन्होंने सब बताया. आज किस तरह वो आनंद में डूबी हैं और आगे अब हिन्दू संगठनों की क्या योजना होगी, इसका भी खुलासा किया. साध्वी ऋतंभरा के साथ आपकी अदालत का रामभक्ति में डूबा ये स्पेशल शो आप देख पाएंगे शनिवार रात दस बजे. अयोध्या का जो भव्य और दिव्य स्वरूप दिखाई दे रहा है, उसे देखने के लिए लोगों ने 500 वर्ष इंतजार किया है. आज रामलला का जो बाल स्वरूप दिखाई दिया..उसकी प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के लिए हज़ारों लोगों ने कड़ा संघर्ष किया. सैकड़ों लोगों ने अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी. इसीलिए सभी को 22 जनवरी के शुभ मुहूर्त का उत्सुकता से इंतज़ार है. पूरे देश में हर जगह इसी की चर्चा है, लेकिन जिन लोगों ने राम जन्मभूमि के आंदोलन में हिस्सा लिया था, वे आज भी जब जुल्म और अपमान की बातें बताते हैं तो रौंगटे खड़े हो जाते हैं. ‘आप की अदालत’ में साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने बताया कि कैसे उन्हें प्रताड़ित किया जाता था,पूरे हिंदू समाज का मज़ाक उड़ाया जाता था, कैसे पुलिस हमेशा उनके पीछे पड़ी रहती थी और उन्हें भेष बदल-बदलकर जन जागरण की सभाओं में जाना पड़ता था. साध्वी ऋतंभरा उन कारसेवकों को याद करके रो पड़ीं जिन पर मुलायम सिंह यादव की पुलिस ने गोलियां चलवाई, जिनके खून से सरयू का पानी लाल हो गया था. .ये बात सब लोग जानते हैं कि इस पूरे संघर्ष में नरेंद्र मोदी का भी काफी सक्रिय रोल था. राम जन्मभूमि आंदोलन को लीड करने वाले लालकृष्ण आडवाणी के रथ के वो सारथी थे..आज ही मैंने वो वीडियो देखा जिसमें बिहार की पुलिस आडवाणी जी को गिरफ्तार करने पहुंची तो मोदी सारी व्यवस्था देख रहे थे. मोदी ने तभी प्रण किया था कि वो अयोध्या में राम मंदिर बनवाकर रहेंगे, इसीलिए आज भी राम मंदिर के आंदोलन को याद करके वो भावुक हो जाते हैं. देश के करोड़ों लोगों की तरह मोदी को भी प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के क्षण की बेताबी से प्रतीक्षा है.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, on Saturday and listened to recital of verses from Kamban Ramayana, a wave of religious fervour has gripped the temple town of Ayodhya, where the PM will perform the consecration ceremony of Ram idol on Monday. Groups of devotees have come from different corners of India, along with several groups from abroad. The priests of Sri Ranganathswamy temple gave a basket containing ornamental dresses to the PM to be taken to Ayodhya for Lord Ram’s idol. Modi is on fast since last several days since he is the Mukhya Yajman of the consecration ceremony. He is visiting several temples in southern India linked to Lord Ram. On Friday, Modi while addressing a public meeting in Solapur while distributing keys of Pradhan Mantri Awas houses to poor families, he became emotional for sometime while reminiscing his childhood which was spent in poverty. Ayodhya has been decked with flowers and lights to celebrate the auspicious occasion. The entire town was lit on Friday night with diyas and other lamps. Hindus have been waiting for nearly 500 centuries for the restoration of Lord Ram’s temple in his birthplace. This was aptly described by Sadhvi Ritambhara, one of the firebrand leaders of Ram Janmabhoomi movement since Eighties, who recited poems in praise of Lord Ram, Ayodhya and Sanatan parampara (tradition). Sadhvi Ritambhara was present in my show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, which will be telecast on Saturday and Sunday nights and on Sunday morning on India TV. She recounted those horrible days of 1990, when police had been asked to round up every Ram devotee. Ritambhara revealed how she had to hide inside a car, and travel incognito in trains by cutting off her hair. She also disclosed how she had to spend up to 10 to 12 hours at airports before she was permitted to travel. Sadhvi Ritambhara disclosed how Hindus and devotees like her had to face insults and beatings and the Hindu community was made the butt of jokes. She used to address 22 rallies on a single day. The most spine chilling disclosure was about how police, on instructions of the then CM Mulayam Singh Yadav, threw bodies of dead kar sevaks in gunny bags, tied them with stones and threw them into the Saryu river in Ayodhya. In 1990, Narendra Modi was the charioteer of BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani’s Somnath to Ayodhya yatra. I have seen the video of how Modi was looking after all arrangements, when Bihar police came to arrest Advani, on orders of then CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, in Samastipur. Modi had then vowed that he would visit Ayodhya only when a grand Ram temple will be built. His vow is going to be fulfilled after more than three decades on January 22. Modi becomes emotional when he reminisces about what happened during Advani’s Rath Yatra. Millions of Indians are also waiting for the auspicious moment when Lord Ram’s idol will be consecrated at the holy site.

रामलला भव्य राम मंदिर के गर्भगृह में विराजमान हो गए हैं. रामलला की प्रतिमा का सरयू के जल से शुद्धिकरण किया गया, जिसे जलाधिवास कहा जाता है. इसके बाद गणेश पूजन और वरुण पूजन हुआ. 121 आचार्य वास्तु पूजन की तैयारी कर रहे हैं.शुक्रवार को देश भर में राम भक्तों ने रामलला प्रतिमा की पहली तस्वीरें देखी. अयोध्या में हर किसी को अब सिर्फ प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का इंतजार है. मंदिर बन कर तैयार है, जो शिखर अभी अधूरे हैं, उन्हें फिलहाल अस्थाई रूप से बना दिया गया है लेकिन गर्भगृह पूरी तरह तैयार है. एक तरफ जब पूरा देश राममय हो गया है, भक्ति में सराबोर है, तब कुछ नेताओं ने एक बार फिर रामभक्तों के पुराने जख्म को कुरेदने की कोशिश की. उस वक्त की याद दिलाई जब सरयू का पानी रामभक्तों के खून से लाल हो गया था. समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता और अखिलेश यादव के चाचा शिवपाल यादव ने कहा कि मुलायम सिंह की सरकार ने 1990 में अयोध्या में रामभक्तों पर गोली चलवा कर संविधान सम्मत काम किया था, रामभक्तों पर फायरिंग कानून की रक्षा और संविधान को बचाने के लिए की गई थी. शिवपाल ने आरोप लगाया कि बीजेपी राम के नाम पर सियासत कर रही है, इसलिए 22 जनवरी के समारोह में उनकी पार्टी के नेता नहीं जाएंगे. कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह और महाराष्ट्र सपा के नेता अबु आजमी ने कह दिया कि बीजेपी का मकसद राम मंदिर बनाना नहीं, बाबरी मस्जिद गिराना था जिससे समाज में हिन्दू मुसलमानों को लड़वाया जा सके. कांग्रेस के नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की भक्ति नकली है, मोदी चुनाव देखकर मंदिर मंदिर घूम रहे हैं, रामभक्त बने हुए हैं, असली भक्त तो कांग्रेस के नेता हैं, जो अयोध्या में हो रहे बीजेपी के चुनावी कार्यक्रम का बॉयकॉट कर रहे हैं. इन सब नेताओं को साध्वी ऋतंभरा, जगदगुरू रामभद्राचार्य और रामकथा वाचक मोरारी बापू ने जवाब दिया. साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने कहा कि 1990 में रामभक्तों का खून बहाकर जो पाप समाजवादियों ने किया उसका प्रायश्चित तो सौ जन्मों में भी नहीं कर पाएंगे. साध्वी ऋतंभरा रामजन्मभूमि आंदोलन में सक्रिय थीं, कारसेवा के लिए हर बार अयोध्या पहुंचने वालों में सबसे आगे रहीं. पुलिस से बचकर भेष बदल कर, बाल मुंडवा कर, गेरूआ वस्त्र छोड़कर सामान्य कपड़े पहने कर, ट्रेन की जनरल बोगी में बैठकर, खेतों के रास्ते पैदल चल कर कैसे कैसे राम मंदिर के लिए लोगों को जगाया. .ये सारे किस्से उन्होंने ‘आपकी अदालत’ में सुनाए हैं. साध्वी बार बार कहती हैं कि उस वक्त मुलायम सिंह की सरकार ने जो किया, उसकी कल्पना किसी हिंदू ने सपने में भी नहीं की थी, उस वक्त को कभी याद करने का मन नहीं करता लेकिन मुश्किल ये है कि विरोधी दलों के नेता, जो रामलला के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह का बॉयकॉट कर रहे हैं, वो बार-बार रामभक्तों को 1990 की याद दिलाते हैं. शिवपाल यादव इस वक्त भले ही समाजवादी पार्टी के बड़े नेता हों लेकिन जिस वक्त की वो बात कर रहे हैं, 1990 में जब मुलायम सिंह यादव की सरकार ने अयोध्या में रामभक्तों पर गोलियां बरसाईं थी, उस वक्त शिवपाल सिंह यादव की पहचान सिर्फ मुलायम सिंह के भाई की थी. वो न विधायक थे, न उस सरकार में मंत्री थे, 1990 में शिवपाल सिंह मुलायम सिंह की पार्टी के पर्चे बांटते थे और मुलायम सिंह की कृपा से इटावा के जिला सहकारी बैंक के अध्यक्ष बन गए थे. इसलिए उस वक्त मुलायम सिंह ने क्या सोचकर रामभक्तों पर गोलियां चलाने का आदेश दिया था और उस वक्त अयोध्या में कैसा माहौल था, इसका शिवपाल सिंह को कुछ पता भी नहीं होगा. लेकिन आज राम मंदिर का निर्माण पूरा हो गया है. रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा होने वाली है. उससे पहले शिवपाल सिंह यादव रामभक्तों को उकसाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं लेकिन उस वक्त जो रामभक्त अयोध्या में मौजूद थे, जिन्होंने अयोध्या में रामभक्तों की लाशों को देखा, खून से लथपथ, पानी के लिए तड़पते रामभक्तों को बचाने की कोशिश की, पुलिस वालों को सरयू में घायल रामभक्तों को लाश की तरह बहाते देखा, वो शिवपाल सिंह जैसे नेताओं की इस तरह तरह की हरकतों से नाराज़ हैं. यही बात साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने ‘आप की अदालत’ शो में कही, जिसका प्रसारण इंडिया टीवी पर शनिवार 20 जनवरी को होने वाला है. साध्वी ऋतंभरा ने कहा कि 1990 के उस काले दिन की याद जब आती है, तो दिल भर आता है. साध्वी ऋतंभरा की आवाज में जोश था, आवेश था. उनकी इस बात का विरोधी दलों के नेताओं के पास कोई जवाब नहीं है कि आखिर राम मंदिर के मुद्दे को इतने सालों तक क्यों अटकाया गया, लटकाया गया. उस वक्त कांग्रेस और समाजवादी पार्टी जैसे दल मुस्लिम वोटों के लिए, तुष्टीकरण की नीति के तहत ये सब क्यों कर रहे थे. कांग्रेस के महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने कहा है कि भारत सिर्फ हिन्दुओं का देश नहीं है, यहां मुस्लिम-सिख-ईसाई सब रहते हैं और कांग्रेस किसी एक धर्म का नहीं, सभी धर्मों का सम्मान करती है. अयोध्या में जो कार्यक्रम हो रहा है, उसमें हर जगह नरेन्द्र मोदी हैं, सारे काम मोदी कर रहे हैं तो दूसरों के लिए कोई जगह ही नहीं है, इसीलिए कांग्रेस ने 22 जनवरी का न्यौता ठुकराया. लेकिन कांग्रेस में भी बहुत से नेता हैं जो कांग्रेस के इस रुख से परेशान और नाराज़ हैं. उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष निर्मल खत्री ने ऐलान किया है कि वो रामलला के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में जाएंगे क्योंकि यह ऐतिहासिक मौका है और हिन्दू होने के नाते वो ऐसे मौक़े से गैरहाज़िर नहीं हो सकते. कांग्रेस के नेता आचार्य प्रमोद कृष्णम पहले ही अयोध्या जाकर रामलला के दर्शन कर आए हैं, 22 जनवरी को फिर अयोध्या जाएंगे. आचार्य प्रमोद कृष्णम ने कहा कि भारत के कण-कण में, हर मन में राम हैं, राम के बिना भारत में राजनीति तो क्या, कुछ भी करना संभव नहीं है. आचार्य ने कहा कि कांग्रेस पर वामपंथ का बेताल सवार है इसलिए दिग्विजय सिंह जैसे नेता ऐसे आत्मघाती बयान दे रहे हैं, राम के निमंत्रण को ठुकरा रहे हैं, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा पर बेवजह के सवाल उठा रहे हैं. कांग्रेस के नेता राहुल गांधी की लाइन पर चल रहे हैं और वो लाइन आचार्य प्रमोद कृष्णम, निर्मल खत्री या लक्ष्मण सिंह जैसे नेताओं के समझाने से नहीं बदल सकती. रामकथा वाचक मोरारी बापू आम तौर पर राजनीति पर नहीं बोलते, नेताओं की बातों का जवाब नहीं देते लेकिन कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने जिस तरह से रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के मुहूर्त पर सवाल उठाए, नरेन्द्र मोदी के अयोध्या जाने को मुद्दा बनाया, उससे मोरारी बापू भी आहत हैं. मोरारी बापू ने कहा कि इस शुभ मौके पर इस तरह की अशुभ बातें करना ठीक नहीं है, जो लोग इस बात पर आपत्ति जता रहे हैं कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा क्यों कर रहे हैं, उन्हें यह नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि अगर नरेन्द्र मोदी देश के प्रदानमंत्री न होते, तो राम मंदिर के लिए और कितने सालों तक इंतजार करना पड़ता कोई नहीं जानता. मोरारी बापू ने जो कहा, वो सबको सुनना और समझना चाहिए. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के शुभ अवसर पर अशुभ बातें नहीं करनी चाहिए. 500 साल की प्रतीक्षा पूरी हुई है. राम मंदिर बना है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश से बना. शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से बना. इसमें कोई विवाद नहीं है. मंदिर पूरी तरह दान-दक्षिणा में मिली राशि से बना है. इसमें किसी सरकार का एक पैसा नहीं लगा. कोई विवाद नहीं है. इसलिए कभी मंदिर को अधूरा बताना, कभी विधि-विधान पर सवाल खड़े करना, कभी ये कहना है कि गर्भ गृह असली जगह से दूर बनाया गया है, कभी कहना कि सारा श्रेय मोदी ले रहे हैं, इन सब बातों की मीनमेख निकालना आज की तारीख में कोई मतलब नहीं है. 22 जनवरी को जो हो रहा है, ये एक ऐतिहासिक घटना है. दुनियाभर में रहने वाले करोड़ों हिंदुओं की भावनाओं का सम्मान है और ऐसे ही राम भक्तों के प्रयास से ये मंदिर बना है..मंदिर के परिसर के बाहर का इलाका योगी की सरकार ने विकसित किया है और अयोध्या नगरी को अन्तरराष्ट्रीय पर्यटन के मानचित्र पर एक प्रमुख स्थान देने का प्रयत्न किया है. ये सिर्फ धर्म से जुड़ा मसला नहीं है. अयोध्या के आर्थिक विकास और समृद्धि का रास्ता भी राम मंदिर से होकर गुजरता है. अगर इस मंदिर को इस दृष्टिकोण से देखा जाएगा तो किसी को कोई समस्या नहीं है. जहां तक राजनीति का सवाल है, कुछ लोग पहले कई साल तक ये कहते रहे कि बीजेपी मंदिर बनाना नहीं चाहती, इसे अटकाना चाहती है ताकि राम मंदिर के नाम पर वोट मिलते रहें. अब बात बिल्कुल बदल गई है. अब कह रहे हैं कि मंदिर इसलिए बनवाया ताकि लोकसभा इलेक्शन में उसका फायदा उठाया जा सके. मोदी का विरोध करने वालों को पहले ये तय करना होगा कि वो कहना क्या चाहते हैं.

The first picture of Ram Lalla idol installed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple in Ayodhya was revealed on Friday, even as Ganesh Puja ritual was being performed, three days ahead of the main consecration ceremony. Now all eyes are on the January 22 event when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the consecration rituals. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav, who happens to be Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle, stirred a hornets’ nest when he justified the police firing on ‘kar sevaks’ in Ayodhya in 1990, in which the official death toll was 17, but the actual toll was higher. Shivpal Singh Yadav said, the ‘kar sevaks’ were “violating court order for maintaining status quo and police had to fire on them to protect the Constitution. The then state government was only following court orders.” The Samajwadi Party leader alleged that BJP was indulging in politics in the name of Lord Ram and this was the reason why the opposition has decided not to attend the consecration event. His remark was strongly opposed by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, Sadhvi Ritambhara and preacher Morari Bapu. Sadhvi Ritambhara, who was my guest in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show (to be telecast by India TV on Sunday night), described the events that took place between October 30 and November 2, 1990, when police enforced a lockdown and barred train and bus services to Ayodhya. Ultimately, police resorted to firing to disperse kar sevaks. The sadhvi described how she had to change her clothes, travel in general railway compartments, and walk long distances through fields to evade police and reach Ayodhya. Shivpal Yadav may be one of the top leaders of Samajwadi Party now, but in 1990, when his elder brother Late Mulayam Singh Yadav was the chief minister, he was neither an MLA or a minister. He used to distribute party leaflets and because of his brother’s clout, he became the president of Etawah district co-operative bank. Shivpal Yadav may have no insider knowledge about why his brother took the decision to order police to fire on kar sevaks. In ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ show, Sadhvi Ritambhara said, “the sins committed by Samajwadi party leaders on Rambhakts (devotees of Ram) cannot be washed away in 100 births”. She alleged that police tried to dump bodies of kar sevaks in Saryu river, by tying them with rocks. Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh rubbed salt into the wounds of Ram devotees, when he said on Thursday that the main motive of BJP was to demolish Babri mosque and not to build the Ram temple. Singh claimed that the temple is coming up on land that was acquired by the then Congress government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to launch his 2024 poll campaign by using this event politically. Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury described Modi as “a fake Ram devotee”. He said, Modi has nothing to do with Ram or religion, and he wants to win the 2024 elections at any cost. Maharashtra Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi alleged that Modi has taken over the consecration ceremony that should have been performed by religious heads or shankaracharyas. When I asked Sadhvi Ritambhara about whether the event is being held to give electoral advantage to BJP and whether Modi wants to declare India a “Hindu Rashtra”, the Sadhvi said, India has been and will continue to be a Hindu Rashtra. When I asked whether there was any planning behind the demolition of Babri mosque, the Sadhvi replied, “there was no plan, but of course, it was all directed by destiny. The mosque was a symbol of the Age of Defeat. It was similar to killing somebody’s father and beating it with shoes in the town square. It was an affront to our self-respect. Our saints braved bullets on their chests to demolish a structure that had nothing to do with the self-respect of us Indians.” The sadhvi’s voice was filled with emotion as she spoke these words in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. Another Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said on Thursday that “India is not a country of Hindus alone. Sikhs, Muslims and Christians also live in India and the Congress respects not one religion, but all religions. The Ayodhya event is one in which only Narendra Modi is being projected everywhere and there is no space for others, that is why Congress declined to go to the event.” However there are many leaders in the Congress, like Nirmal Khatri, former state unit president and Acharya Pramod Krishnam who do not agree with the official party line. Nirmal Khatri has said he will attend the consecration event because it is a historic one and as a Hindu, he cannot stay away from it. Acharya Pramod Krishnam said, he would go to Ayodhya on January 22, because “Lord Ram is the very soul of India, and nothing, not even politics, can be done without the blessings of Lord Ram”. The acharya alleged that Congress was being influenced by Left ideology and this is the reason why its top leaders are declining the invitation to attend the event. Nevertheless, the official Congress line is not going to change despite dissent from lower rung leaders. Senior Congress leaders must listen to what the famous preacher Morari Bapu told India TV. Morari Bapu normally avoids speaking on political issues, but he appeared hurt when opposition leaders questioned why Narendra Modi is being given the role of Mukhya Yajman at the event. Morari Bapu said, “it is not good to utter inauspicious words during an auspicious occasion. Those who are objecting why Modi is consecrating the temple, must not forget that had Modi not been the Prime Minister, nobody knows how many more years we should have waited for the Ram temple.” The fact is that a 500-year-long wait is now going to end. The Ram temple will now be open at his birthplace in Ayodhya. After the Supreme Court verdict, the temple has been built peacefully, without any fresh dispute. The temple has been built mainly with donations from across India and abroad. Not a single paisa of the government has been spent on the temple. To indulge in nitpicking by questioning whether the temple has been built away from the actual spot, or why Modi is taking all the credit, is nothing but a meaningless effort. The event that is going to take place on January 22 will be a historic one. It will accord respect to the feelings of millions of Hindus across the world. The temple has come up because of the efforts of Ram devotees. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has developed Ayodhya as a major tourism spot. This is not only a religious issue. The road to economic development and prosperity of the people of Ayodhya will open up after the temple is inaugurated. Nobody should have any problem if one views the issue from the angle of development. As far as politics is concerned, these are the same people who were claiming a few years ago that the BJP is no more interested in building the Ram temple, because it wants to continue to garner votes in the name of Lord Ram. Now, the entire picture has changed. The opposition is now alleging that the temple is being inaugurated in order to harvest votes in the Lok Sabha elections. Opponents of Modi will first have to decide what they want to convey.

Even as the rituals for January 22 Pran Pratistha ceremony are in progress at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the main ‘yajmaan’ of the event is presently touring the temples of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala offering prayers. He visited the famous Guruvayur temple in Kerala on Wednesday morning and also offered prayers at Thriprayar Sree Ramaswami temple in Trichur district. He also launched three infrastructure projects worth Rs 4000 crore in Kochi. On Tuesday, Modi offered prayers at Veerabhdra temple in Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh. This is a famous Ramayana site where Jatayu fell injured while battling the demon king Ravana, who had abducted Sita. Modi said at a function that the entire nation is presently deep in devotion of Lord Ram, waiting for the consecration event on Monday in Ayodhya. The holy town of Ayodhya has been decorated with fabulous lighting, wall paintings, rangolis and other art work. Donations in the form of 108 feet high agarbatti stand from Gujarat, new handwoven heritage clothes from Lucknow and Chhappan Bhog from Agra meant for Lord Ram idol have arrived. Top astrologer from Varanasi, Ganeshwar Shastry will oversee the rituals leading to the main event, while Pandit Laxmikant Dixit from Kashi will be the Mukhya Acharya (main priest). UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath extolled the ideals of Lord Ram and said, those who follow the path of Ram and become his devotee attain divine powers like Hanuman, while those distance themselves from Ram die like Maarich. Ayodhya, Yogi said, is no more a town where curfew is clamped, nor bullets are fired. In Kohima, Nagaland, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing media, said his party has decided not to attend the consecration event in Ayodhya, because it is being organized by BJP-RSS and Modi will be performing the main ritual. Modi, he said, is our ṃain political rival. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the consecration event was not a religious one, but a political program. Meanwhile, new herrings are being introduced, with Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut claiming that the new temple is being constructed three km away from the actual birthplace. Their lie was nailed by Alt News fact-checker Mohammed Zubair, who tweeted that the temple has been built at the actual spot. He said the 2023 Google image of the spot has been compared with the 2011 Google image, and there has been no change in location. On Tuesday, Sadhvi Ritambhara was the guest in my show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, to be telecast on India TV on Saturday, January 20, where I asked her whether the temple is being built on a different location. Sadhvi Ritambhara laughed and said, the Ram Mandir is being built at the exact spot, where kar seva took place. Sadhvi Ritambhara has been part of Ram Janmabhoomi movement since the beginning. She does not belong to any political party and has devoted her life to social work. India TV reporter in Ayodhya asked Govind Giri Maharaj, the treasurer of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Govind Giri said that the day the Babri structure was demolished, the main ‘garbhagriha’ was marked, and it was at this spot that the sanctum sanctorum of the new temple has been built. I feel that it is not an issue of the opposition levelling baseless charges in order to create confusion about the consecration event. The issue relates to the thinking of opposition leaders, whether it is Rahul Gandhi, or Digvijaya Singh, or Uddhav Thackeray, or Sanjay Raut, or any RJD or Samajwadi Party leader. These leaders are making baseless charges. Are these leaders not witnessing the mood of the nation? Are these leaders not watching a wave of devotion for Ram sweeping the country? Hindus living across the world are trying all means to reach Ayodhya, but Rahul Gandhi is saying the consecration event is a political program and BJP wants to take political advantage. But the question is: if BJP will gain advantage from this event, will the opposition parties gain advantage by boycotting the event? I think, Iqbal Ansari, the main litigant from Muslim side in the Ayodhya case, is wiser than these leaders. His father fought the case for several decades, but the apex court verdict went in favour of building the Ram temple. Iqbal Ansari has been invited to the January 22 event, and he has happily accepted it. He will attend the Pran Pratistha event. Even Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal seems to be wiser. He has become a follower of Lord Ram’s main devotee Bajrangbali Hanuman. On Tuesday, he attended a Hanuman Chalisa Sundar Kand Path in Rohini, Delhi. His party has already started recital of Hanuman Chalisa in all assembly constituencies of Delhi.

अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के लिए अनुष्ठान औपचारिक रूप से शुरू हो गए हैं. समारोह के मुख्य यजमान के तौर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का 11 दिन का व्रत अनुष्ठान तो चार दिन पहले ही शुरू हो गया था. मंदिर के ट्रस्टी अनिल मिश्रा कर्मकांडों में यजमान की भूमिका में अभी हैं. अनिल मिश्रा को सरयू में स्नान करवा कर ब्राह्मणों ने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत कर दी, वैदिक परंराओं के साथ यजमान का शारीरिक और आत्मिक शुद्धिकरण करवाया गया, इसके बाद रामलला की मूर्ति का शुद्धिकरण होगा. अयोध्या रंग बिरगी रौशनी से सराबोर है. सभी मंदिरों, सड़कों, चौक चौराहों पर लाइंटिंग और वॉल पेंटिंग हो चुकी है. मंगलवार की शाम को सरयू घाट पर भगवान राम के भक्तों ने दीये जलाए. सरयू घाट की सीढ़ियों पर हज़ारों दीयों की रौशनी से अयोध्या जगमगा उठी. अयोध्या में गुजरात से भेजी गई 108 फीट की अगरबत्ती को भी प्रज्वलित कर दिया गया. यह कम से कम अगले 21 दिनों तक अयोध्या में यूं ही जलती रहेगी और दूर-दूर तक महक बिखेरेगी. रामलला के छप्पन भोग के लिए आगरा से 56 तरह के पेठे लाए गए. 22 जनवरी के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा कार्यक्रम में काशी के बड़े ज्योतिषाचार्य गणेशवर शास्त्री पूरी प्रक्रिया पर नज़र रखेंगे. उनकी देखरेख में पूरे विधि-विधान से हर काम किया जाएगा. काशी के पंडित लक्ष्मीकांत दीक्षित मुख्य आचार्य होंगे. उधर, मुख्य यजमान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आंध्र प्रदेश और केरल में मंदिरों में जाकर प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं, मंगलवार को वह आंध्र प्रदेश के लेपाक्षी में वीरभद्र मंदिर का दर्शन करने गए. यहां पर रामायण के मुताबिक जटायू ने भगवान राम से मिलने के बाद मोक्ष प्राप्त किया था. बुधवार को सुबह मोदी ने केरल के गुरुवायुर मंदिर में जाकर पूजा की. बाद में त्रिचूर जिले में श्री रामस्वामी मंदिर गए. नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा, इस वक्त पूरा देश भगवान राम की भक्ति में सराबोर है और वो भी व्रत अनुष्ठान कर रहे हैं. लखनऊ में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने एक कार्यक्रम में राम मंदिर के लिए पांच सौ साल के संघर्ष को याद किया और कहा कि राम के आशीर्वाद के बिना कोई काम नहीं हो सकता. जो राम का नाम लेता है, वो तर जाता है और जो भगवान राम से दूरी बनाता है, उसका हश्र मारीच की तरह होता है. लेकिन मंगलवार को कोहिमा में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने साफ लफ्जों में कहा कि चूंकि राम मंदिर का उद्घाटन नरेंद्र मोदी कर रहे हैं और चूंकि वही मुख्य यजमान हैं, इसलिए विपक्षी मोर्चे के नेता 22 जनवरी को अयोध्या नहीं जाएंगे. राहुल ने कहा कि कांग्रेस को न तो प्राण प्रतिष्ठा से कोई दिक़्क़त है, न किसी कार्यकर्ता को वहां जाने से रोका गया है, लेकिन पार्टी के तौर पर कांग्रेस ने इस कार्यक्रम से दूर रहने का फैसला किया है क्योंकि ये धार्मिक नहीं, बीजेपी-आरएसएस का राजनीतिक कार्यक्रम है. उधर, शिव सेना नेता संजय राउत और कांग्रेस नेता दिग्विजय सिंह का ये आरोप झूठा साबित हुआ कि राम मंदिर का निर्माण बाबरी ढांचे से 3 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर हुआ है. संजय राउत या दिग्विजय सिंह तो 1992 में हुई कारसेवा में नहीं गए थे लेकिन उस वक्त साध्वी ऋतंभरा मौजूद थी. साध्वी ऋतंभरा शुरू से ही अयोध्या आंदोलन से जुड़ी रहीं. वह नेता नहीं हैं, किसी राजनीतिक पार्टी से नहीं जुड़ी हैं. सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए उन्होंने अपना जीवन समर्पित किया है. साध्वी ऋतंभरा इस बार ‘आपकी अदालत’ में मेरी मेहमान हैं. मंगलवार को शो की रिकॉर्डिंग के दौरान मैंने साध्वी से संजय राउत के बयान का हवाला देकर सवाल पूछा कि आप लोग नारा लगाते थे, सौगंध राम की खाते हैं, मंदिर वहीं बनाएंगे, लेकिन क्या मंदिर वहीं बन रहा है या वहां से अलग जगह पर बन रहा है? इस पर ऋतंभरा ने साफ कहा, मंदिर वहीं बन रहा है. हमारे संवाददाता ने श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र के कोषाध्यक्ष गोविंद गिरि महाराज से पूछा. उन्होने कहा कि जिस दिन बाबरी मस्जिद गिरी, उसी दिन से गर्भगृह में रामलला का स्थान चिह्नित है और वहीं पर गर्भगृह बना है. विश्व हिंदू परिषद के अध्यक्ष आलोक कुमार ने कहा कि मंदिर का गर्भ गृह ठीक उसी जगह पर है, जहां बाबरी मस्जिद का मुख्य गुंबद था जहां रामलला 1949 से विराजमान थे. मुझे लगता है कि सवाल विपक्ष की तरफ से लगाए जा रहे आरोपों का नहीं हैं, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह को लेकर फैलाए जा रहे भ्रम को लेकर नहीं है. सवाल विपक्ष की सोच पर है. राहुल गांधी हों, दिग्विजय सिंह हों, उद्धव ठाकरे हों, संजय राउत हों, RJD के नेता हों या समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता, ये लोग राम मंदिर को लेकर उल्टे सीधे बयान दे रहे हैं. रोज रोज भ्रम फैलाने वाले नए नए शिगूफे छोड़ रहे हैं. क्या इन लोगों को देश का मूड दिखाई नहीं देता? क्या विपक्ष के नेता देश में रामभक्ति की लहर को नहीं देख पा रहे हैं? दुनिया भर में बसे हिन्दू इस मौके पर किसी न किसी तरह अयोध्या पहुंचने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं लेकिन राहुल गांधी कह रहे हैं कि 22 जनवरी को होने वाला कार्यक्रम सियासी है, बीजेपी इसका फायदा उठाना चाहती है. सवाल ये है कि अगर बीजेपी को चुनाव में राम मंदिर उद्घाटन का फायदा होगा तो क्या इस मौके का बॉयकॉट करके विरोधी दलों को चुनावों में फायदा होगा? मुझे लगता है कि मोदी विरोधी मोर्चे के नेताओं से ज्यादा समझदार तो इकबाल अंसारी हैं जो अयोध्या विवाद में मुस्लिम पक्ष के पैरोकार थे. उनके पिता ने केस लड़ा फिर उन्होंने बाबरी ढांचे के पक्ष में कोर्ट में पैरवी की लेकिन कोर्ट के फैसले पर राम मंदिर बन गया और 22 जनवरी के प्रोग्राम का निमंत्रण इकबाल अंसारी को मिला तो उन्होंने खुशी खुशी न्योता स्वीकार किया और प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे. वैसे इस मामले में अरविंद केजरीवाल भी चतुर निकले. उन्होंने राम को छोडकर बजरंगबली को पकड़ लिया है. मंगलवार को केजरीवाल दिल्ली में हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ करते नजर आए. आम आदमी पार्टी ने दिल्ली के सभी इलाकों में सुंदरकांड का पाठ का आयोजन शुरू किया है. फरवरी से हर महीने के पहले मंगलवार को पूरी दिल्ली में इसी तरह हनुमान चालीस का पाठ गूंजेगा.

Twenty four hours before Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in Kohima that the January 22 consecration of Lord Ram’s idol in the Ayodhya temple “is a political event”, almost the entire top leadership of UP Congress visited Ayodhya on Makar Sankranti (Monday), took a dip in Saryu river and paid obeisance to Ram Lala at the makeshift temple near his birthplace. UP Congress chief Ajay Rai, Congress MP Deependra Hooda, UP Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, Supriya Shrinate and others chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram”, “Jai Jai Siyaram”, “Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai”. This comes in the backdrop of point-blank refusal by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to attend the January 22 Pran Prathistha event. They had been invited by Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, but the three leaders declined to attend, saying that it was a “BJP-RSS event”. In Kohima, Rahul Gandhi said, “it will be difficult for us to go, as the prime minister, who is our principal opposition, has made it into an election event….We are with all religions. Whosoever wants to go, even from the Congress, can go. BJP-RSS have given the event an election flavour.” In Ayodhya, state Congress chief Ajay Rai said, Ramlala idol is already installed and he finds no reason why another Pran Pratistha ceremony is being conducted. There was a brief commotion when some devotees of Ram snatched the Congress flag from party workers and tore it. Police had to intervene to separate the two groups. The Congress leaders tried to meet the Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi temple, but he refused to meet them. Later Mahant Raju Das said, he dislike the “dual policy” of Congress, because on one hand the Congress government had refused to recognize the existence of Lord Ram in Supreme Court and refused to attend the consecration event, and on the other hand, their leaders are coming to Ayodhya to pay obeisance to Lord Ram. “We won’t allow such dual characters in the birthplace of Lord Ram”, he said. Congress leader Avinash Pandey said, they had come for darshan of Ramlala to pray for peace and prosperity in UP. One needs to ponder why Congress is indulging in obfuscation. The leaders of UP Congress realize the ground reality that millions of people in UP are devotees of Lord Ram, and this was the reason why UP state unit leaders went to Ayodhya to take a dip in Saryu river. On the other hand, the party high command has decided to keep a distance from the consecration event. The central leadership cannot oppose the Pran Pratistha event in public, as it can have serious political repercussions. This is the dilemma being faced not only by Congress but by most of the parties which are part of INDIA opposition bloc. In Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee is going to take out an “all religion” rally on January 22 after offering prayer in Kalighat temple. In Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party leaders on Tuesday took part in recital of Hanuman Chalisa and Sundar Kand in most of the assembly constituencies. Kejriwal has announced that AAP legislators and ministers will organize Hanuman Chalisa recital on the first Tuesday every month in Delhi. I remember, in 2020, AAP had started Hanuman Chalisa recital in Delhi and had vowed to recite Hanuman Chalisa every Tuesday, but this did not happen. Nobody knows when they stopped doing this. Now since most of the people in India are openly taking part in religious events in praise of Lord Ram in the run-up to the consecration ceremony, Kejriwal has opted for Bajrangbali (Lord Hanuman), the foremost devotee of Lord Ram. Already, AAP MP and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh has said that he will visit Ayodhya to pay obeisance to Ramlala. Harbhajan’s googly may put Kejriwal in a fix, but already there are speculations in political circles that Harbhajan Singh may turn the ball and reach Ayodhya carrying the lotus flower (BJP election symbol) in hand. These are mere speculations. The fact remains that Hindus in India and across the world are happy that a grand Ram temple has been built in his birthplace. This is not a political event. After a gap of 500 years, Lord Ram will find his place in a grand temple in Ayodhya. It would be better if all major political parties eschew their differences and join the celebrations in Ayodhya. They should listen to the advice of the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth Sadananda Saraswati. On Congress party questioning why the event is taking place even before the temple is not fully built, the Shankaracharya said, this is nothing but an effort to find excuses. Pran Prathista is a religious programme and the opportunity has come after five centuries. The building of Ram temple in Ayodhya is a symbol of fulfilment of the dreams of more than a billion Indians. It is not good to drag the shankaracharyas in this issue. The seer of Dwarka Peeth clarified that there are no differences among the shankaracharyas. He explained that the seers follow a strict regime, a set of daily rituals. All the shankaracharyas have promised to visit the temple after the consecration event, according to their convenience. Chandrakant Sompura, the architect who prepared the design of Ram temple, said only the sanctum sanctorum needs to be ready for carrying out the Pran Prathista ceremony. His grandfather Prabhashankar Sompura had prepared the design of Somnath temple, where the consecration was done in 1951 by India’s first President Dr Rajendra Prasad. At that time too, Sompura said, only the Garbha griha (sanctum sactorum) was constructed and the completion of temple work took place in 1955. P.K.Lahiri, trustee-secretary of Somanth Temple Trust, also said that work on Somnath temple walls continued even till 2020 and the Pran Pratistha was done when the sanctum sanctorum was ready. I think Congress and other anti-Modi political parties have committed a mistake by refusing the attend the consecration ceremony. Congress has 52 Lok Sabha members and it has let a big opportunity slip from its fingers. Congress leaders must understand that there is unprecedented enthusiasm among millions of Indians over the inauguration of Ram temple, and they include millions of Congress supporters and voters. They hail from those families who have been waiting for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya since 500 years. Now that the historic moment is going to arrive, the entire nation is watching in wonder, the enthusiasm of millions of Ram devotees. Minor issues like why the shankracharyas are not attending, why Narendra Modi is the ‘yajmaan’, why the temple is not fully built, do not matter to these devotees. People know that these herrings are being raised by those who are opposed to Modi. Some opposition leaders say, we will go earlier, while some say, we will go after January 22. Their own leaders say, if one has to go to see the temple, why not on January 22, Pausha Shukla Dwadashi, when the Abhijeet Muhurtha (sacred time) will witness the consecration? Why should they miss being part of history? It should not happen that they may be forced to watch the consecration ceremony LIVE on television and then rue their fate that they missed the historic chance. Such opportunities never come again in history.

अयोध्या में सोमवार को कांग्रेस के नेताओं की रामभक्ति का नज़ारा दिखा. सांसद दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा, यूपी कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष अजय राय, पार्टी प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत, यूपी प्रभारी अविनाश पांडे जैसे तमाम नेता अयोध्या पहुंचे, ‘जय श्रीराम’, ‘जय जय सियाराम’, ‘सियावर रामचन्द्र की जय’ के नारे गूंजे. वैसे तो ये कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है, भगवान राम के नारे कोई भी लगा सकता है, सरयू में डुबकी लगाकर रामलला के दर्शन कोई भी कर सकता है लेकिन कांग्रेस के नेताओं का अयोध्या जाकर सरयू में डुबकी लगाना और जय श्रीराम के नारे लगाना इसलिए बड़ी बात है क्योंकि कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, सोनिया गांधी और अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने 22 जनवरी को रामलला के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में जाने से इंकार कर दिया है, रामजन्भूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ट्रस्ट के आमन्त्रण को ठुकरा दिया है. लेकिन सोमवार को मकर संक्रांति पर कांग्रेस के तमाम नेताओं ने अयोध्या पहुंचकर सरयू में डुबकी लगाई, पापों का प्रायश्चित किया, बजरंगबली के दर्शन किए, फिर राम के दरबार में हाजिरी लगाई, इसके बाद कहा कि हम तो पुराने रामभक्त हैं, बीजेपी वाले तो 22 जनवरी को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के नाम पर पाप कर रहे हैं, अधूरे मंदिर में रामलला का विग्रह स्थापित कर रहे हैं. कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने कहा कि जिस काम को शंकराचार्य सनातन विरोधी बता रहे हैं, जिस कार्यक्रम में शंकराचार्य नहीं आ रहे हैं, उस समारोह में कांग्रेस के नेता क्यों जाएंगे. मंगलवार को कोहिमा में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने 22 जनवरी के कार्यक्रम को राजनीतिक बताया, कहा कि कांग्रेस इस राजनीतिक कार्यक्रम में नहीं जाएगी क्योंकि बीजेपी-आरएसएस चुनावी फायदे के लिए ये कार्यक्रम करवा रही है. राहुल गांधी ने कहा, “मुझे धर्म से फायदा नहीं उठाना, मेरी उसमें दिलचस्पी नहीं है, मुझे धर्म को शर्ट बनाकर पहनने की जरूरत नहीं है, जो सच में धर्म के साथ पब्लिक रिश्ता रखता है, वही धर्म से फायदा उठाता है.” लेकिन सोमवार को अयोध्या में यूपी कांग्रेस के नेता क्या कर रहे थे? ये सभी नेता दर्जनों कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ सरयू के तट पर पहुंचे, जय श्रीराम के नारे लगाए और डुबकी लगाई. कड़कड़ाती ठंड में सभी नेताओं ने पानी में खड़े होकर पूजा अर्चना की. ये नेता माथे पर त्रिपुंड लगाकर हनुमान गढ़ी पहुंचे और राम लला की पूजा की. अजय राय ने कहा, रामलला की अभी जो मूर्ति है वो तो पहले से प्राण प्रतिष्ठित है, इसलिए 22 जनवरी को क्या होने जा रहा है, ये तो बीजेपी वाले ही बता सकते हैं. स्नान ध्यान के बाद कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने हनुमान गढ़ी में बजरंग बली के दर्शन किए. इसके बाद सभी नेता रामलला के दर्शन के लिए पहुंचे. रामलला के मुख्य पुजारी आचार्य सत्येंद्र दास से मुलाक़ात की, उनका आशीर्वाद और प्रसाद लिया. चूंकि कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ता पांर्टी का झंडा लेकर अयोध्या पहुंचे थे इसलिए रामभक्तों ने इसका विरोध किया. कुछ लोगों ने कार्यकर्ताओं के हाथ से छीनकर कांग्रेस का झंड़ा फाड़ दिया लेकिन पुलिस ने बीचबचाव कर हालात को संभाल लिया.
दोनों और से जमकर नारेबाजी हुई. दोनों पक्ष आमने सामने डटे रहे और नारेबाज़ी करते रहे. . कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने हनुमान गढ़ी के महंत राजू दास से मुलाक़ात करने की कोशिश की लेकिन काफ़ी देर इंतज़ार के बाद भी महंत राजू दास उनसे नहीं मिले. बाद में महंत राजू दास ने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेताओं की भगवान राम में निजी आस्था पर उन्हें कोई शक नहीं है लेकिन उन्हें कांग्रेस की दोहरी नीति से ऐतराज़ है. महंत राजू दास ने कहा कि एक तरफ़ तो कांग्रेस, भगवान राम के अस्तित्व को नकारती है, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का न्यौता ठुकराती है और फिर अपने नेताओं को रामलला के दर्शन के लिए भी भेजती है, भगवान राम के धाम में यो दोहरा चरित्र नहीं चलेगा. कांग्रेस नेताओं के अयोध्या दौरे में भक्ति कम, राजनीति ज्यादा थी. खरगे, सोनिया गांधी और अधीर रंजन चौधरी भले ही न समझे कि आम जनमानस पर राम नाम का क्या असर है, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह के बॉयकॉट का क्या असर होगा, लेकिन यूपी कांग्रेस के नेता राम नाम की शक्ति को भलीभांति जानते हैं, अयोध्या की महिमा को पहचानते हैं, इसीलिए अजय राय भगवान राम के जयकारे लगाते, सरयू में डुबकी लगाते दिखे. लेकिन चूंकि हाईकमान ने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह से दूर रहने का फैसला किया है, उस फैसले का विरोध कर नहीं सकते, ये उनकी मजबूरी है. इसलिए राम का नाम लेकर अपना काम किया. ये हाल सिर्फ कांग्रेस का नहीं हैं. मोदी विरोधी मोर्चे में शामिल ज्यादातर पार्टियों ने 22 जनवरी के कार्यक्रम से दूरी बनाई है. लेकिन ये पार्टियां असमंजस में है. उन्हें पता नहीं ठीक किया या गलत, इसलिए अब सारी पार्टियां खुद एक दूसरों से बड़ा रामभक्त बताने में जुटी हैं. दिल्ली में मंगलवार को अरविन्द केजरीवाल की आम आदमी पार्टी ने हनुमान चालीसा और सुंदर कांड का पाठ करवाया. लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सांसद और पूर्व क्रिकेटर हरभजन सिंह ने एलान कर दिया कि कोई जाए न जाए, वो तो अयोध्या जाकर रामलला के दर्शन जरूर करेंगे. हरभजन की ये गुगली केजरीवाल को मुसीबत में डालेगी. हरभजन ने एलान तो कर दिया है लेकिन अब इसके बाद सियासी गलियारों में ये चर्चा शुरू हो गई है कि हरभजन सिंह अगले दो महीनों में कुछ बड़ा कर सकते हैं. हो सकता है उनकी ball turn ले ले, लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले हाथ में कमल का फूल लेकर अयोध्या पहुंचें. लेकिन ये सब अटकलबाजी हैं. हकीकत ये है कि अयोध्या में राममंदिर बनने की खुशी दुनिया में बसे हर हिन्दू को है. ये कोई सियासी कार्यक्रम नहीं हैं. पांच सौं साल के बाद रामलला फिर भव्य मंदिर में विराजमान हो रहे हैं. इसलिए हर किसी को पार्टी राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर भक्तिभाव से इस खुशी में शामिल होना चाहिए. चूंकि साधु संतों, शंकराचार्यों, धर्माचार्यों ने राम मंदिर के उद्घाटन और प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह को आशीर्वाद दिया है, बड़े विद्वानों ने प्राणप्रतिष्ठा का महूर्त निकाला है, इसलिए इस पर किस पार्टी के नेता क्या कहते हैं, इससे रामभक्तों को कोई मतलब नहीं हैं. इस वक्त अयोध्या में हर तरफ सिर्फ रामभक्तों का हुजूम दिख रहा है. लोग भगवान राम के लिए तरह-तरह के उपहार ला रहे हैं. हर किसी को 22 जनवरी का इंतजार है. श्रीराम जन्मभूमित तीर्थक्षेत्र ट्रस्ट ने भी ऐलान कर दिया कि प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह की तैयारियों पूरी हो चुकी हैं. चंपत राय ने बताया कि क़रीब 150 संप्रदायों के लोगों को इस कार्यक्रम में आमंत्रित किया गया हैं, प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का मुहूर्त काशी के आचार्य गणेश्वर शास्त्री द्रविड़ ने निकाला है और कर्मकांड की सारी प्रक्रिया वाराणसी के आचार्य लक्ष्मीकांत दीक्षित करेंगे. रामलला की मूर्ति को 18 जनवरी को गर्भगृह में प्रवेश कराया जाएगा. 21 जनवरी तक वैदिक परंपराओं के साथ अनुष्ठान होंगे और 22 जनवरी को प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की शुरुआत दोपहर 12 बजकर 20 मिनट पर होगी. 84 सेंकेन्ड का मुहूर्त है और कार्यक्रम पूरा होने में करीब सवा घंटे का वक्त लगेगा. दुनिय़ा भर के रामभक्त आजकल अयोध्या आने के लिए उत्साहित हैं, इसमें धर्म का कोई भेद नहीं हैं. देश भर से मुस्लिम भाई भी रामलला के लिए प्रसाद, कपड़े और गहने भेज रहे हैं. मुझे लगता है कांग्रेस और दूसरे मोदी विरोधी दलों ने रामलला के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में न जाने का फैसला करके गलती की है. खासतौर पर 52 सीटों वाली कांग्रेस ने एक बड़ा अवसर अपने हाथ से गंवा दिया है. कांग्रेस को तो ये समझना चाहिए था कि देश के जो करोड़ों लोग हैं, वो रामलला का मंदिर बनने से उत्साहित हैं. उनमें बड़ी संख्या में कांग्रेस के समर्थक और वोटर भी हैं. ये सभी वो लोग हैं जिन्होंने भव्य राम मंदिर में रामलला को स्थापित करने के लिए 500 साल इंतज़ार किया. अब जब वो घड़ी आने वाली है तो लोगों की भावनाएं इस मंदिर से किस तरह जुड़ी हुई हैं, वो आज पूरे देश में दिख रहा है. इन बातों का कोई मतलब नहीं कि मंदिर पूरा नहीं बना, शंकराचार्य क्यों नहीं जा रहे, इसमें मोदी यजमान क्यों हैं. सब जानते हैं ये बेकार की बातें हैं. सबको मालूम है कि मोदी विरोध में ये सब किया जा रहा है. कोई कह रहा है पहले जाएंगें, कोई कह रहा है बाद में जाएंगे, उनके अपने नेता पूछ रहे हैं जाना ही है, तो फिर 22 तारीख में क्या problem है? शुभ मुहूर्त में क्यों नहीं जाते? इतिहास बनते क्यों नहीं देखते? अब ऐसा ना हो कि जब टीवी पर प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का कार्यक्रम देखें, देश के लोगों का उत्साह देखें ,तो लगे मौका सामने था, हमने खो दिया. और ऐसे मौके बार बार नहीं आते.

With less than a fortnight remaining for the historic consecration ceremony to be performed at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Friday that he has begun a special 11-day ‘anusthaan’ (fasting ritual) to prepare himself for the event. In an audio message released before going to Nashik to perform prayers in Panchavati, on the banks of river Godavari, Modi said, “God has made me an instrument to represent the people of India…I am overwhelmed with emotions..This emotional journey of my inner self cannot be expressed, it can only be experienced…Even though I want to, I am unable to express in words the depth, expanse and intensity of my feelings…This historic moment is a blessing of Almighty, a culmination of over 500 years of enduring patience, and countless instances of sacrifice and penance…The fervour of Ram Bhakti has swept the country in the runup to the Pran Prathistha ceremony…We have to awaken divine consciousness in our self for yagna and worship. Fast and strict rules have been prescribed in the scriptures, which have to be followed before consecration. From today, I have begun my 11-day special ‘anusthaan'(rites) for this purpose.” At the Kalaram temple in Nashik, Modi played cymbals and chanted shlokas in praise of Lord Ram. Panchvati, where Kalaram temple is located, is the place where Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman stayed most of the time during their 14-year-long exile. Modi used a broom and a pail full of water, to sweep the floor of the temple. Later, at the National Youth Festival, held to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Modi appealed to people to take part in ‘Swachchata Andolan’ (cleanliness movement) and keep all pilgrimage spots and temples clean on January 22. “India”, he said, “is proud of its rich heritage and the people of India want development. Our youths are free from the slavery mindset and they should now join politics in large numbers. This will put an end to dynastic politics which has caused much harm to our nation”. The words that Modi used in his audio message heralding the beginning of 11-day fasting, reflect the feelings of millions of Indians. Devotees of Lord Ram spread across the world are eager to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya to watch the Ram Lalla idol and pay obeisance. It is true, a historic moment has arrived after nearly 500 years when the Ram Janmasthan temple will be inaugurated. Ayodhya, for every Ram devotee, is not a city of war, battles, barbaric attacks, atrocities or injustice. The birthplace of Bhagwan Ram is a symbol of brotherhood, spirituality, Sanatan culture and Ram Rajya. After five centuries, Ayodhya has regained its magnificence back. This is a moment of pride for every Hindu. It is also a matter of pride that the leadership of this country is in the hands of a leader who not only understands Sanatan tradition, but also respects and follows it. Modi observes fast twice a year during the Durga Navratra (nine-day fasting). He is now undergoing 11-day fasting rituals before consecrating Ram idol in the temple at Ayodhya. One thing to note is that as Prime Minister, Modi will continue to attend meetings and official work, despite observing 11-day fast. He will not stop working. This will make his “special anusthaan” harder. On the other hand, Congress leaders are questioning who authorized Modi to perform the consecration ceremony? Why is he acting as the Yajmaan (main performer)? Why are BJP leaders so active for making the consecration event a grand success? These were the questions raised by two Congress spokespersons on Friday. They said, BJP is making a ‘tamasha’ out of a religious event and Modi is launching his 2024 poll campaign from Ayodhya. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said, “Modi is going to commit a sin by performing Pran Pratistha in an incomplete temple”. Another spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said, Congress leaders cannot be part of a “political tamasha” organized by BJP, to divert people’s attention from price rise and unemployment issues. Congress leaders have the right to accept or decline the invitation to attend the Ayodhya event, but to raise question about Modi’s intentions, using words like “dalaal”, “bichouliya”(middleman) does not behove the dignity of India’s oldest political party. For those questioning Modi’s connections with Ram temple, they should reach what veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, considered the pioneer of Ram Janmabhoomi movement, said on Friday. In a magazine article, Advani wrote, “Destiny has chosen Narendra Modi to fulfill the long-cherished dream of building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. “It was a journey that led me to re-discover India, and in the process re-understand myself…Narendra Modi was with me throughout the Rath Yatra. He was not very famous then, but at that very time, Lord Ram chose his devotee (Modi) to rebuild the temple. At that time, I felt destiny has decided that one day a grand Ram temple will definitely be built in Ayodhya. Now, it’s only a matter of time.” Narendra Modi will represent every Indian at the consecration event. Building of a grand Ram temple was part of BJP manifesto since several decades. Modi was personally involved in speeding up the construction of Ram temple. He is the elected Prime Minister who has the trust of millions of Indians. If Modi was invited to perform the Pran Pratistha of the temple, why should the Congress object? Actually, this objection is not on religious ground. Congress has nothing to do with the fact whether the temple is fully constructed or partially. Congress should not be concerned at all whether religious rituals are being followed or not. The only problem Congress has is that this grand consecration event will help Modi electorally and the Congress is deeply worried. There are several experienced leaders in Congress who are trying to convince the leadership that the more Congress opposes or boycotts the consecration ceremony of Ram temple, the more political damage it will have to face. But the Congress leadership is blindly opposing Modi. It is unable to understand the real feelings of millions of Indians. Congress is following a policy of opposing and/or questioning everything that Modi does. It is asking why shankaracharyas are not attending the event, why the President was not called to inaugurate the new Parliament building. The party boycotted both events. It is clear that the Congress party is only making excuses. The party leadership should listen to the advice of those leaders who are saying that it would be unwise to boycott the Ayodhya event. They should at least listen to their veteran leader Dr Karan Singh, the former ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, who revealed that he had donated Rs 11 lakhs for building the Ram temple. Dr Karan Singh wanted to attend the event but his poor health is not permitting. On January 22, he is organizing a special function at his residence. Dr Karan Singh’s family trust is organizing a big event in Jammu’s famous Raghunath temple on January 22. Dr Karan Singh said, when the temple has been constructed after the Supreme Court verdict, why should the party hesitate or decline attending the event.

अयोध्या में भव्य राममंदिर के उद्घाटन और रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में अब कुछ ही दिन बचे हैं. शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि वो अगले 11 दिनों तक कठोर यम नियम का पालन करेंगे. संतों और तपस्वियों ने जो मार्गदर्शन दिया है, उसके मुताबिक अगले 11 दिन तक विशेष अनुष्ठान करेंगे. मोदी ने इस अनुष्ठान की शुरूआत नासिक के कालाराम मंदिर में भगवान राम की आराधना के साथ की. नासिक में मोदी रोड शो करते हुए सीधे काला राम मंदिर पहुंचे. पंचवटी क्षेत्र में स्थित कालाराम मंदिर की बहुत मान्यता है. इस मंदिर में रामभक्तों की गहरी आस्था है. रामायण के मुताबिक पंचवटी वही स्थान है, जहां 14 साल के वनवास के दौरान, दसवें साल के बाद तकरीबन ढाई साल तक भगवान राम, माता सीता और लक्ष्मण रहे. मोदी ने कालाराम मंदिर में 15 मिनट तक पूजा-अर्चना की, आरती की, भजन मंडली के साथ बैठकर भजन गाया और मंजीरा बजाया. मोदी ने मंदिर में साफ-सफाई की, खुद बाल्टी में पानी लेकर गए और फर्श को साफ किया. मोदी सुबह दिल्ली से ये बताकर निकले थे कि वह अगले 11 दिनों तक विशेष अनुष्ठान करेंगे और इसकी शुरूआत नासिक से होगी. मोदी ने नासिक में गोदावरी नदी के किनारे रामकुंड पर जाकर विधिवत अनुष्ठान की शुरूआत की, पुरोहितों के मार्गदर्शन में वैदिक परंपराओं के मुताबिक, विधि विधान से गोदावरी की पूजा की. मोदी ने एक ऑडियो मैसेज जारी किया जिसमें उन्होने कहा कि अब राम लला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के ऐतिहासिक पल में सिर्फ 11 दिन बचे हैं, वो इस कार्यक्रम में देश के 140 करोड़ लोगों की ऊर्जा और उनके आशीर्वाद से शामिल होंगे. मोदी ने कहा कि आजकल वो जैसा महसूस कर रहे हैं, जिस तरह से भाव विह्वल हैं, इसे शब्दों में बयां करने में असमर्थ हैं. मोदी ने कहा कि ये मौका पांच सौ सालों के प्रयासों से, सैकड़ों पीढ़ियों के तप से आया है. वो इस पल के साक्षी बन रहे हैं, इसलिए उनके भीतर भावनाओं का ज्वार है. मोदी ने कहा कि अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा से पहले 11 दिनों तक उन्हें जिन परंपराओं का पालन करना है, ईश्वर के यज्ञ के लिए, आराधना के लिए, स्वयं में दैवीय चेतना जाग्रत करनी होती है, शास्त्रों में बताए गए यम नियम का पालन करना है, उसे वो उनका पूरी श्रद्धा, भक्ति और आध्यात्मिक शक्ति के साथ पालन करेंगे. मोदी ने कहा कि जिस पल वो गर्भगृह में जाएंगे, वो पल कैसा होगा, क्या अनूभुति होगी, ये सोचकर वो भावनाओं के समंदर में डूबे हुए हैं.. मोदी ने कहा कि जिस पल वो गर्भगृह में प्रवेश करेंगे, उस वक्त देश के 140 करोड़ लोग मन से उनके साथ जुड़े होंगे, वह 140 करोड़ लोगों के भावों को, भक्ति को रामलला के चरणों में समर्पित करेंगे. नरेंद्र मोदी की आस्था, उनका संकल्प और शास्त्रों में बताए गए कठिन नियमों का पालन करने के उनके निश्चय को देखकर काला राम मंदिर के पुरोहित भी हैरान थे. कई पुरोहितों का कहना था कि उन्होंने ऐसा प्रधानमंत्री नहीं देखा जो अपने काम के साथ-साथ कठिन व्रत का पालन करता हो. मोदी ने अपने ऑडियो मैंसेज में जो कहा, उसका एक एक शब्द देश करोड़ों लोगों की भावनाओं की अभिव्यक्त करने वाला था. आज दुनिया भर में फैले रामभक्तों में यही भाव है, हर कोई सबसे पहले रामलला के दर्शन करना चाहता है, हर कोई अयोध्या जाकर एक बार भव्य राममंदिर को निहारना चाहता है. ये सही है कि पांच सौ सालों की तपस्या के बाद से एतिहासिक मौका आया है. अयोध्या किसी भी रामभक्त के लिए युद्ध, बर्बरता, अत्याचार, अन्याय या ज़ुल्म का प्रतीक नहीं है. अयोध्या भगवान राम की जन्मभूमि होने के साथ साथ आपसी सदभाव, आध्यत्म, सनातन संस्कृति और रामराज का प्रतीक है और पांच सौ साल के बाद अयोध्या का यही स्वरूप वापस लौट रहा है. रामलला फिर भव्य मंदिर में विराजमान हो रहे हैं. ये दुनिया भर के हिन्दुओं के लिए गौरव का क्षण है. ये गौरव की बात है कि देश का नेतृत्व इस वक्त ऐसे नेता के हाथ में है जो सनातन परंपराओं को न सिर्फ समझता है बल्कि उनका सम्मान और उनका पालन करता है. मोदी साल में दो बार नवदुर्गा का व्रत रखते हैं.और अब राम मंदिर के उद्घाटन से पहले 11 दिन तक कठिन अनुष्ठान करेंगे. लेकिन ये बात ध्यान रखने वाली है कि इन ग्यारह दिनों में प्रधानमंत्री के तौर पर मोदी की जो दिनचर्या है, जो मीटिंग्स हैं, जो काम हैं, वो नहीं रुकेंगे. इसलिए ये अनुष्ठान और ज्यादा कठिन होगा लेकिन कांग्रेस को इस बात पर एतराज है कि मोदी ये सब क्यों कर रहे हैं? मोदी प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के यजमान क्यों हैं? अयोध्या में होने वाले कार्यक्रम को लेकर बीजेपी के नेता इतने सक्रिय क्यों हैं? शुक्रवार को कांग्रेस के दो प्रवक्ताओं ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस करके नरेन्द्र मोदी को कोसा. पवन खेड़ा ने कहा कि बीजेपी ने धर्म को तमाशा बना दिया है, आधे अधूरे मंदिर में, बिना शिखर के मंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा करके मोदी घोर पाप करने जा रहे हैं. एक अन्य प्रवक्ता सुप्रिया श्रीनेत ने कहा कि महंगाई और बेरोज़गारी जैसे असल मुद्दों की चर्चा न हो, इसलिए बीजेपी राम के नाम पर तमाशा कर रही है और कांग्रेस इसका हिस्सा नहीं बन सकती. कांग्रेस राम मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा में न जाए, यह उनकी आस्था और विश्वास का विषय हो सकता है लेकिन मोदी की आस्था पर सवाल उठाना, दलाल, बिचौलिए जैसे शब्द का इस्तेमाल करना कांग्रेस जैसी पुरानी पार्टी की गरिमा के अनुरूप नहीं है .अगर कोई ये जानना चाहता है कि मोदी का राम मंदिर से क्या सम्बंध है तो उन्हें राम जन्मभूमि आंदोलन के प्रणेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी की बात सुननी चाहिए. शुक्रवार को आडवाणी ने कहा कि रथयात्रा के दौरान नरेंद्र मोदी हर पल मेरे साथ थे. दरअसल मोदी आडवाणी के रथ के सारथी थे. आडवाणी ने कहा राम मंदिर बनना तो नियति ने ही तय कर लिया था , जब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मंदिर की प्राण प्रतिष्‍ठा करेंगे तब वे हमारे भारतवर्ष के प्रत्‍येक नागरिक का प्रतिनिधित्‍व करेंगे.राम मंदिर का मुद्दा मोदी के चुनाव घोषणापत्र में था. राम मंदिर जल्दी बनवाने में, भव्य बनवाने में मोदी ने खुद सक्रिय रूप से दिलचस्पी ली. मोदी देश की जनता द्वारा चुने हुए प्रधानमंत्री हैं, देश के करोड़ों लोगों के विश्वास के प्रतीक हैं. अगर राम मंदिर में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के लिए उन्हें आमंत्रित किया गया तो इस पर कांग्रेस को आपत्ति क्यों? असल में ये आपत्ति धार्मिक नहीं है..कांग्रेस को इस बात से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है कि मंदिर पूरा बना या नहीं. कांग्रेस को इस बात से भी कोई मतलब नहीं है कि विधि-विधान का ध्यान रखा गया या नहीं. कांग्रेस की समस्या तो ये है कि इससे मोदी को लोकसभा चुनाव में फायदा हो जाएगा. ये चिंता आजकल कांग्रेस चलाने वालों को खाए जा रही है. कांग्रेस में कई पुराने अनुभवी नेता हैं जो ये समझाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि कांग्रेस राम मंदिर का विरोध करेगी. प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का बॉयकॉट करेगी तो इससे और अधिक नुकसान होगा लेकिन कांग्रेस चलाने वाले मोदी विरोध में इतना गुम हो गए हैं कि वो लोगों को भावनाओं को समझ नहीं पा रहे .मोदी जो भी करें, उनका विरोध करना एक तरह से पॉलिसी हो गई है. मोदी जो भी बनाए, उस पर सवाल उठाना आदत हो गई है .मंदिर है तो शंकराचार्य को क्यों नहीं बुलाया, बॉयकॉट करो. नई संसद का भवन बना तो राष्ट्रपति को क्यों नहीं बुलाया, बॉयकॉट करो. ऐसी बहानेबाजी साफ दिखाई देती है. इसलिए कांग्रेस को अपने उन नेताओं की बात सुननी चाहिए जिन्हें लगता है कि प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के समारोह का बहिष्कार करना, राम मंदिर के निर्माण पर सवाल उठाना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है और इसकी कोई जरूरत नहीं थी. कांग्रेस के नेताओं को नहीं जाना था तो उन्हें अपनी पार्टी के सबसे वरिष्ठ नेता डॉ. कर्ण सिंह की बात सुन लेनी चाहिए. डॉ. कर्ण सिंह ने कहा कि रघुवंशी होने के नाते उन्होंने राम मंदिर के लिए 11 लाख रुपये का दान दिया था. कर्ण सिंह ने कहा कि वो खुद अयोध्या जाना चाहते थे लेकिन सेहत साथ नहीं दे रही लेकिन 22 जनवरी को वो अपने घर पर एक विशेष आयोजन करेंगे. इतना ही नहीं डॉ. कर्ण सिंह का फैमिली ट्रस्ट 22 जनवरी को जम्मू के प्रसिद्ध रघुनाथ मंदिर में भी बड़ा आयोजन कर रहा है. डॉ. कर्ण सिंह कह रहे हैं कि जब राम मंदिर का निर्माण सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्णय के बाद हो रहा है तो फिर प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह में जाने में हिचक का कोई कारण नहीं है .
