OROP deadlock continues

The government is trying its best to implement One Rank One Pension. The govt has enormous pressure on this issue. Many formulas have been worked on, but it is quite late now. Now the ex-servicemen have the upper hand. They have fresh demands now. They want new conditions in govt’s proposal which can be implemented immediately. But on the later stages, these conditions will be problematic not only for this govt but for the govt’s to come. That is why, the govt is not including them in the proposal. But now the Narendra Modi govt does not have the option to back off because PM Modi had promised One Rank One Pension during his poll campaign. If the govt plans to do away with it, then questions will be raised which the govt has not done
