The Centre on Tuesday removed CBSE chairman Rahul Singh and secretary Himanshu Gupta and appointed Prashant Lokhande and Varun Bhardwaj in their places respectively. A one-man committee will probe the OSM tendering process and give its report within a month.

    Both the chairman, secretary should have been shunted 3-4 days ago when the game was up. The Centre was probably waiting for the Parliamentary Committee meeting to end on Tuesday, where both these officials were summoned. As soon as the meeting was over, orders for their transfer were issued.

The inquiry committee will now try to find out why the OSM process was implemented in a hurry, why contract was given to a company with a questionable track record and why SOP for contract was changed.

   As far as technical glitches in the ongoing re-evaluation process are concerned, much hullabaloo was created.

   Nearly 4 lakh students had applied for re-evaluation, nearly 11.32 lakh answer sheet copies were asked for. This process could have been carried out without glitches.

     Had the CBSE checked all parameters in advance, the portal would not have hanged frequently.

     Indian Railways’ IRCTC portal handles 4 to 5 crore visits on an average daily. It manages nearly 3 lakh concurrent users and 32,000-plus tickets are processed every minute.

     The re-evaluation process would not have faced glitches if CBSE had learnt from IRCTC.

Mamata’s fort crumbles

     Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has realized that her fort is now crumbling and most of her MLAs are going to quit.

     On Wednesday, a letter signed by 58 rebel MLAs was handed over to the Assembly Speaker to convey that Ritabrata Banerjee, the MLA who was expelled by Mamata two days ago, be appointed Leader of Opposition.

    After Mamata expelled two of her MLAs two days ago, TMC has now 78 MLAs and 42 MPs.

    On Tuesday, when Mamata sat on a dharna in Kolkata, only six MLAs and 5 MPs were present with her.

     Mamata now looks weary. The TMC MLAs and MPs who used to fear her till May 4, are now leaving her party in droves.

     It’s now Mamata who is fearing a big exodus of her legislators. Leaders of INDIA bloc who used to fear Mamata earlier, are now showing reluctance in taking her phone calls.

  The fort that Mamata built on the basis of anti-Hindu politics in the guise of secularism in Bengal, now lies in ruins.

    Hindu self-respect “swabhimaan” has overtaken her party. Nobody is now afraid of chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans.

    For the first time, people are coming out in the open and revealing the atmosphere of fear that was prevailing during her rule. For Mamata, it will now be an uphill task.

Yogi’s campaign has begun

    Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath is now firing on all cylinders against the opposition.

     With assembly elections due next year, he is visiting one district daily.

    On Tuesday, he visited Kushinagar. Yogi said, 10 years ago, UP had illegal factories manufacturing country made guns and bombs, and now BrahMos missiles are being manufactured. Earlier, mosquitoes and mafia terror were the order of the day, but no more.

    Yogi is trying his best to help those facing intimidation from local gangsters.

    In Sambhal, he ordered the DM to hand over land documents to the family of late Ramsharan Rastogi, who was stabbed to death and his body thrown in a well  during the 1978 communal riots.  Rastogi’s family fled Sambhal and has been living in Delhi since then. Their properties were forcibly occupied.

     After Rastogi’s widow and grandson met Yogi and narrated their woes, the district administration swung into action.  A Muslim graveyard adjoining Tileywali Masjid, built on govt land, was vacated and a portion of the land was allotted to  Rastogi’s family. A house will now be built on that land under supervision of local administration.

     In Ghaziabad, a 70-year-old lady Chanchal told Yogi that her home was forcibly occupied by a property dealer Taj Mohammed and sold to her neighbour Momin, after she failed to return Rs 1.5 lakh loan she had taken for her husband’s treatment from the property dealer.

     The DM visited the spot and withing 48 hours, the home was handed over to Chanchal. Action was taken against property grabbers and they were sent to jail.

     Yogi’s biggest achievement is, he has succeeded in reviving the trust of the people in the government. This trust is Yogi’s biggest asset and he has already started his poll campaign with vigour.

     Yogi’s agenda is clear. He had struck fear in the minds of mafias that were active prior to the BJP regime.  Women have a feeling of security and industrialists are now making investments in UP.

    Yogi has one more point on his agenda. He has revived the self-respect (swabhimaan) among Hindus. Akhilesh Yadav’ chanting PDA (Picchhda, Dalit, Alpasankhyak) slogan and Rahul Gandhi waving a copy of Constitution, may find it difficult to counter Yogi.

सरकार ने CBSE के खिलाफ बड़ा एक्शन लिया. CBSE के अध्यक्ष राहुल सिंह और सचिव हिमांशु गुप्ता को हटा दिया. OSM सिस्टम की टेंडर प्रॉसेस की जांच के लिए कमेटी बना दी.

   प्रशांत लोखंडे और वरुण भारद्वाज को नया सचिव बनाया गया. अब इस बात की जांच होगी कि OSM सिस्टम लागू करने का फैसला जल्दबाज़ी में क्यों लिया गया? किसने लिया? क्या किसी एक कंपनी को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए टेंडर की शर्तों में बदलाव हुआ था?

   जिस कंपनी को ये टेंडर दिया गया, क्या उसके बैकग्राउंड की जांच हुई थी? अगर इस कंपनी के खिलाफ पहले से शिकायतें थीं, तो फिर इसे इतनी बड़ी बोर्ड परीक्षा का ठेका क्यों दिया गया?

  इन सारे सवालों के जवाब कमेटी खोजेगी और एक महीने के भीतर रिपोर्ट देगी. उसके बाद कार्रवाई होगी.

   CBSE के चेयरमैन और सचिव की छुट्टी हुई, अच्छा हुआ. इनका गेम तो 3-4 दिन पहले ही ओवर हो गया था पर अगर वो आउट हो जाते तो आज संसदीय कमेटी में बाउंसर  कौन झेलता? इसलिए जैसे ही बैठक खत्म हुई, फरमान जारी हो गया क्योंकि CBSE ने कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी.

  जल्दबाजी में OSM लागू किया. खराब ट्रैक रिकॉर्ड वाली कंपनी को ठेका दिया, कॉन्ट्रैक्ट के SOP में बदलाव किए. अब जांच होगी तो पता चलेगा, इसमें किसने कितना माल उड़ाया.

  रही बात re-evaluation process में आई गड़बड़ियों की, CBSE का काम इतना मुश्किल नहीं था, जितना उन्होंने शोर मचा दिया. चार लाख छात्रों ने अपनी उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं की copy के लिए आवेदन किया.

   करीब 11 लाख 32 हजार answer sheets की मांग की गई क्योंकि जिन्हें scan की हुई copy मिल जाती है, वही छात्र re-evaluation के लिए apply कर सकते हैं. ये काम बिना Glitch के हो सकता था. अगर CBSE सारे Parameters को शुरू में जांच लेती, बार-बार portal hang नहीं होता.

  IRCTC की वेबसाइट औसतन चार से पांच करोड़ visits हर रोज हैंडल करती है. ये 3 लाख concurrent users को मैनेज करती है और हर मिनट 32 हजार tickets process करती है.

  अगर CBSE बोर्ड re-evaluation portal के लिए IRCTC से सीख लेता, तो कोई मुश्किल न होती.

ममता का किला ध्वस्त

   ममता बनर्जी को भी अब समझ में आ गया कि ज्यादातर विधायक उनका साथ छोड़ने वाले हैं. बुधवार को 58 विधायकों के दस्तखत के साथ एक पत्र विधानसभा अध्यक्ष को सौंपा गया जिसमें कहा गया कि ऋतब्रत बनर्जी को प्रतिपक्ष का नेता घोषित किया जाए.   ममता बनर्जी ने ऋतब्रत को दो दिन पहले पार्टी से निकाल दिया था.

  मंगलवार को ममता कोलकाता के धर्मतल्ला में धरने पर बैठीं लेकिन उनके साथ सिर्फ 6 विधायक और पांच सांसद ही मौजूद थे.

   दो विधायक निकालने के बाद ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी में इस वक्त 78 विधायक  और 42 सांसद हैं.

   आज दिखाई दिया कि ममता बनर्जी कितनी लाचार हैं. कल तक जो सांसद, विधायक ममता से खौफ खाते थे, आज ममता उनके भागने से डरी हुई हैं.

  कल तक INDIA ब्लाक  के जो नेता ममता के आगे सिर झुकाते थे, वो अब उनका फोन नहीं उठा रहे हैं. बंगाल में Secularism के नाम पर ममता बनर्जी ने हिंदू विरोधी राजनीति का जो किला बनाया था, वो धूल में मिल गया.  उसकी जगह अब हिंदू स्वाभिमान ने ले ली है. अब कोई ‘जय श्रीराम’ का नारा लगाने से नहीं डरता.

  निज़ाम बदलने के बाद  पहली बार ये पता चल रहा है कि बंगाल में किस कदर डर का माहौल था. अब हवा बदली तो चारों तरफ लोगों की तृणमूल के नेताओं से नाराजगी दिखाई दे रही है. ममता के लिए अब पार्टी को बचाना टेढ़ी खीर साबित होगी.

यूपी में योगी का चुनाव अभियान शुरू

  उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि दस साल पहले यूपी में बम और कट्टों की फैक्ट्रियां चलती थीं, अब यूपी में ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल बन रही है, पहले यूपी में मच्छर बीमारी फैलाते थे, माफिया खौफ का कारोबार करते थे, नौ साल में मच्छर भी खत्म हो गए और माफिया भी जहन्नुम पहुंच गए.

    योगी ने ये बात तो कुशीनगर में कही लेकिन इसका असर पूरे यूपी में दिख रहा है.

  संभल में 48 साल बाद दंगा पीड़ित परिवार को फिर से बसाया गया. 1978 के दंगे में बहुत से हिन्दू परिवार अपना घर छोड़कर भाग गए थे, उनकी संपत्तियों पर कब्जा कर लिया गया था. इस दंगे में अपने परिवार के सामने रामशरण रस्तोगी की चाकुओं से गोदकर हत्या कर दी गई थी और शव को उनकी दुकान के सामने कुएं में फेंका गया था.

  इस खौफनाक वारदात के बाद डरा सहमा परिवार संभल से भागकर दिल्ली में रहने लगा था, उनके घर और दुकान पर कब्जा हो गया.

  रामशरण के पोते ने अपनी मां और दादी के साथ योगी से मुलाकात की, परिवार की दास्तां योगी को बताई. योगी ने DM से जांच कराई तो पता लगा कि जिस जमीन पर टीले वाली मस्जिद बनी है, उसके आसपास कब्रिस्तान बना है. वो सारी जमीन सरकारी है. प्रशासन ने इस जमीन को खाली करवाया और इस जमीन का एक हिस्सा रामशरण के परिवार को सौंप दिया. संभल के डीएम बुधवार को इस जमीन के कागजात दंगा पीड़ित परिवार को सौंपेंगे, प्रशासन की देखरेख में इस जमीन पर घर बनेगा.

    इसी तरह गाजियाबाद में योगी के आदेश पर प्रशासन ने चंचल नाम की एक बुजुर्ग को सिर्फ 48 घंटे में उनका घर वापस दिला दिया है. 70 साल की बुजुर्ग महिला चंचल के घर पर ताज मोहम्मद नाम के प्रॉपर्टी डीलर ने कब्जा कर लिया था. चंचल ने सीएम से गुहार लगाई.

  इस बुजुर्ग महिला ने अपने पति के इलाज के लिए  ताज मोहम्मद से डेढ़ लाख रु. उधार लिए थे, पति की मौत हो गई. ताज मोहम्मद ने चार महीने में ब्याज जोड़कर डेढ़ लाख की रकम को सात लाख तक पहुंचा दिया.

   बुजुर्ग महिला इतना पैसा नहीं चुका पाई तो ताज मोहम्मद ने उसे घर से निकाल कर घर पर कब्जा कर लिया और उसका मकान पड़ोस में रहने वाले मोमिन को बेच दिया.

  सोमवार को डीएम खुद मौके पर पहुंचे, अवैध कब्जा हटवाकर तुरंत मकान की चाबियां चंचल को सौंप दीं और भू-माफियाओं के खिलाफ सख्त धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर जेल भेजने का आदेश दिया.

   योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सरकारी सिस्टम के प्रति लोगों के मन में जो भरोसा पैदा किया है, वह उनकी बड़ी उपलब्धि है.

  जनता का ये भरोसा योगी की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है, इसीलिए योगी जोश में हैं. यूपी में चुनाव अभी दूर है लेकिन लगता है कि योगी ने पूरे दम से प्रचार शुरू कर दिया है.

  वह हर रोज एक अलग जिले में नजर आते हैं. योगी का एजेंडा स्पष्ट है. उन्होंने यूपी में माफियाओं के दिल में कानून का डर पैदा किया है, बहन-बेटियां सुरक्षित महसूस करती हैं, उद्योगपति यूपी में पूंजी लगाने लगे हैं.

  इसके अलावा योगी का एक और एजेंडा भी है. योगी ने उत्तर प्रदेश में हिंदुओं का आत्म-सम्मान जगाया है और इसका जवाब न PDA का नारा लगाने वाले अखिलेश यादव के पास है और न संविधान की क़ॉपी लहराने वाले राहुल गांधी के पास.

The CBSE re-evaluation and verification portal went live on June 2 after technical delays, but students faced fresh trouble. They faced login errors shortly after the process was declared live.

    Many students watched a screen that froze after they entered their login details. Several of them got this msg, “Verification failed. Pls check your details & try again.”

   This happened after four days of delays and repeated assurances from CBSE that the post-result services platform would be operation from June 1 instead of on May 29.

     Fresh questions have been raised about OSM (on-screen marking) system with several students pointing out that their answer sheets were scanned on cellphones showing blurred pics and mark of clips. Students are blaming the Hyderabad company, Co-empt which had got the tender for implementing OSM.

    Ethical hackers said, CBSE did not take stringent steps to secure its portal, resulting which answer sheets of several students appeared in public domain. This is a serious discrepancy as far as security of personal privacy is concerned. CBSE has admitted the mistake and has promised to improve the system. It is considering slapping penalty on the company and blacklisting it for future.

     The sole intention of CBSE while implementing OSM and re-evaluation process was for the benefit of students, but without any proper testing the re-evaluation process was implemented in a hurry, resulting in the present impasse.

    Some pilot projects on selected subjects should have been conducted in advance before implementing the re-evaluation system. There should have been dry runs on a big scale. Trial runs should have taken place for at least six months, but this was not done. As a result, the entire system collapsed under its own weight.

    Re-evaluation system is not bad, but care should have been taken while implementing it. This was not done and thousands of students had to face problems.

Rebels say, Didi is okay, but Dada has wrecked TMC

    Embattled Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee sat on a dharna on Tuesday in Dharmatola, Kolkata, to protest against what she called atrocities on her party leaders and supporters.

    This took place at a time when the party is on the verge of split. Several TMC legislators have revolted against her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. They have written a letter to Assembly Speaker alleging that Abhishek Banerjee forged the signatures of at least 13 MLAs who were not present at the meeting where a resolution was passed to forward the name for Leader of Opposition.

    The Speaker forwarded it to state CID , and the sleuths went to Abhishek’s residence, where he was not available.

     Mamata Banerjee swiftly expelled two of her MLAs for anti-disciplinary activities. She alleged that some of her legislators and MPs are working under pressure from Centre, or out of fear or inducements.

    Rebel TMC legislators said, Mamata was sincere but her nephew Abhishek was behaving as if the party was his personal property. They said, he was treating MLAs and MPs like domestic servants and it was because of him that the party is now sinking.

   Mamata Banerjee blamed BJP’s hand behind this rebellion, but Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said, BJP has nothing to do with TMC’s internal matters. For good measure, he added that TMC’s cup of sins is now overflowing and every step will now be taken as per law.

    On Sunday, Mamata had convened a meeting of legislators but only 20 out of 80 MLAs came. Sixty MLAs were missing. Mamata had to cancel the meeting.

    On top of it, her nephew Abhishek Banerjee was thrashed by people in Sonarpur and eggs and stones were thrown at him. Abhishek had to run for his life. Mamata alleged, BJP supporters were behind this attack.

    Personally, I feel, to attack, abuse and thrash a political leader like Abhishek Banerjee, whatever be the provocation, is unacceptable.

     The people of Bengal have punished Abhishek Banerjee for his mistakes. In a democracy, ballot is the correct path for expressing public anger. Thrashing a political leader out of anger is nothing but an insult of this mandate.

   None can justify thrashing, shoving or throwing ink at a political leader. It goes against the grain of our democratic and cultural ethos.

    It would have been better if Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari had denounced the attack on Abhishek Banerjee and restrained his supporters.

   There was a time when none had the temerity or courage to speak out against Mamata Banerjee, even from the opposition.  The government changed and there is open rebellion in the party. TMC councillors are leaving the party in droves. Only 20 out of 80 MLAs showed up when Mamata convened a meeting.

   This is quite a shock for a leader like Mamata Banerjee. Those leaving her party are saying that Didi may be honest, but her nephew Dada has been tormenting party leaders.

   But Mamata is unwilling to part ways with her nephew. One should not be surprised if Trinamool Congress splits into two factions.

Yogi : Gau Mata does not need any certificate

   In Bijnore, UP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath rubbished the demand of some Muslim clerics to declare cow as India’s national animal.

   Yogi said, Hindus worship cow as their mother. He said, “Does a son need a certificate for his relationship with his Mother?”

   Yogi pointed out that there were people who were congratulating one another on Bakrid, but putting pics of cows. Such people, he said, are only enacting a drama by demanding that cow be declared a national animal.

   Jamiat-ul Ulama Hind chief Maulana Arshad Madani and several Muslim clerics had demanded that cow be declared the national animal.

   Let me point out, no state government can declare cow a national animal. Only the Centre can take a call, but there are objections to this from several North-eastern states and tribal community.

    There is no cow slaughter prohibition law in Kerala. In Odisha, there is permission for slaughter of bullocks aged more than 14 years. In Bengal, cow aged more than 14 years can be slaughtered.

    In Assam, there is ban on eating or selling beef in public places. In Tamil Nadu, slaughter of bullocks aged more than 10 years is allowed. There is no law against cow slaughter in the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland.

   In view of this, it is difficult for the Centre to declare cow as a national animal without taking states into confidence.

    Muslim clerics know this, but they made this demand to put the BJP on the backfoot.  Yogi Adityanath has outrightly rejected this demand.

CBSE को फिर सवालों का सामना करना पड़ा. CBSE और शिक्षा मंत्री ने ऐलान किया था कि बारहवीं का इम्तिहान देने वाले छात्रों की कॉपी का री-इवैल्युएशन प्रॉसेस 1 जून से शुरू होगा. लेकिन पहले ही दिन वेबसाइट जवाब दे गई. दूसरे दिन, आज 2 जून को वेबसाइट चालू हुई.

   CBSE ने सोशल मीडिया पर जानकारी दी कि वेबसाइट में कुछ तकनीकी दिक़्क़तें थीं. वेबसाइट चालू होते ही छात्र अपनी कॉपी री-चेक कराने के लिए एप्लाई कर पाएंगे.

  इससे पहले  CBSE ने 22 मई से री-इवैल्युएशन की वेबसाइट  ओपन की थी लेकिन जब चार लाख से ज़्यादा छात्रों ने अपनी स्कैन्ड answer-sheets मांगने के लिए एप्लाई किया तो वेबसाइट बैठ गई. बहुत से छात्र फीस का भुगतान नहीं कर पाये.

   CBSE ने 1 जून से revamped वेबसाइट शुरू करने का भरोसा दिया था लेकिन पहले ही दिन CBSE अपने वादे पर खरी नहीं उतरी.

  CBSE के ऑनस्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम को लेकर नए सवाल उठे. आरोप लगा कि बच्चों की कॉपी को मोबाइल से स्कैन किया गया था, इसी वजह से कॉपी धुंधली नज़र आ रही थीं. उन पर क्लिप्स के निशान थे. ये गड़बड़ी OSM का ठेका लेने वाली कंपनी Co-empt की तरफ़ से हुई थी.

   वहीं CBSE ने OSM के लिए answer sheets को जिस पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया था उसको हैक करके छात्रों की कॉपी को पब्लिक डोमेन में डाला गया.

   एथिकल हैकर्स ने कहा कि CBSE ने वेबसाइट सिक्योर करने के लिए ठोस कदम नहीं उठाये. उसी वजह से बच्चों की कॉपी पब्लिक डोमेन में आ गई. ये छात्रों की निजता की सुरक्षा में बड़ी खामी है.

   CBSE ने इस मामले में भी अपनी ग़लती मान ली है और सिस्टम को सुधारने का वादा किया है.

  इसके अलावा CBSE OSM का ठेका लेने वाली कंपनी Co-empt के ऊपर भारी जुर्माना लगाने और भविष्य में उसे ठेका न देने जैसे कड़े क़दम उठाने पर भी विचार कर रही है.

   CBSE ने डिजिटल सिस्टम लागू तो किया था छात्रों की भलाई के लिए, Re-evaluation को मजबूत बनाने के लिए लेकिन इसे बिना पूरी तरह टेस्टिंग के operationalise कर दिया गया इसलिए लेने के देने पड़ गए.

    Re-evaluation system लागू करने से पहले चुनिंदा विषयों में  pilot project  कराये जाने चाहिए थे, फिर बड़े पैमाने पर dry run होना चाहिए था. कम से कम 6 महीने का trial run होता तो बेहतर होता. ये नहीं हुआ और पूरा सिस्टम अपने ही बोझ तले दब गया.

  Re-evaluation का सिस्टम बुरा नहीं है, इसे लागू करने में जो सावधानी बरती जानी चाहिए थी, वो नहीं बरती गई, इसलिए छात्रों को इतनी परेशानी हुई.

बंगाल : दीदी तो ठीक हैं, पर दादा ने TMC को डुबाया

बंगाल में ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी  तृणमूल कांग्रेस वस्तुत: टूट चुकी है. तृणमूल कांग्रेस के विधायकों ने अभिषेक बनर्जी के खिलाफ बगावत कर दी है. उनका आरोप है कि अभिषेक बनर्जी ने 13 विधायकों के फर्जी दस्तखत करके विपक्ष के नेता पद के लिए विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष को चिट्ठी दी थी.

   अब इस मामले की जांच CID कर रही है, CID अभिषेक बनर्जी से पूछताछ करने उनके घर पहुंची लेकिन वो सामने नहीं आए.

  तृणमूल कांग्रेस के विधायकों का दावा है कि जिस मीटिंग में विरोधी दल के नेता के चुनाव का दावा किया गया और जिन विधायकों के साइन वाली चिट्ठी स्पीकर को दी गई, वो MLAs मीटिंग में नहीं थे.

   ममता बनर्जी अभिषेक बनर्जी के बचाव में उतरीं. उन्होंने दो विधायकों को पार्टी से निकाल दिया. ममता ने कहा कि कुछ विधायक और सांसद सरकार के दबाव में, कुछ डर कर, कुछ लालच में पार्टी के खिलाफ बोल रहे हैं, लेकिन वह डरने वाली नहीं हैं.

  बागी तृणमूल विधायकों ने कहा कि ममता ईमानदार हैं, लेकिन अभिषेक बनर्जी ने पार्टी को पर्सनल प्रॉपर्टी समझ लिया है वह सांसदों और विधायकों के साथ घर के नौकरों जैसा बर्ताव करते हैं, अभिषेक के कर्मों के कारण ही पार्टी की लुटिया डूबी है.

     ममता ने कहा कि जो लोग आज बगावती तेवर दिखा रहे हैं, उन सबके पीछे बीजेपी है, बीजेपी तृणमूल कांग्रेस को तोड़ने की कोशिश कर रही है, अभिषेक बनर्जी को टारगेट किया जा रहा है लेकिन वो डरने वाली नहीं हैं, न वो मैदान छोड़ेंगी और न ही अभिषेक पीछे हटेंगे.

   लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने साफ कहा कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस में जो कुछ हो रहा है उससे बीजेपी का कोई लेना देना नहीं है.

   शुभेंदु ने कहा कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस के पापों का घड़ा भर चुका है, अब कानून के मुताबिक पूरा हिसाब होगा.

   रविवार को ममता ने विधायकों की बैठक बुलाई थी, इस मीटिंग में 80 में से सिर्फ 20 विधायक पहुंचे.. 60 MLAs गायब थे. ममता को मीटिंग कैंसिल करनी पड़ी.

    सोनारपुर में अभिषेक बनर्जी पर पत्थरों और अंडों से हमला हुआ और वह किसी तरह जान बचा कर निकले. ममता का कहना है कि हमला बीजेपी समर्थकों ने किया.

    अभिषेक बनर्जी से चाहे जितनी नाराजगी हो, उन पर हमला करना, गाली देना, उनके साथ मारपीट करना बिल्कुल गलत है.

   अभिषेक बनर्जी से जनता की जो नाराजगी थी, जनता ने अपने वोट से उन्हें सजा दे दी. लोकतंत्र में गुस्सा जाहिर करने का ये सबसे सही तरीका है, मार-पिटाई करके गुस्सा उतारना जनता के इस फैसले का अपमान है.

    किसी पर भी हाथ उठाने को, धक्का-मुक्की करने को, स्याही फेंकने को सही नहीं ठहराया जा सकता. ये लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों के खिलाफ है, हमारी संस्कृति के विरुद्ध है.

    अच्छा होता कि मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी अभिषेक बनर्जी पर हुए हमले की निंदा करते और अपनी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं को समझाते.

   एक ज़माना था जब ममता बनर्जी के सामने किसी की आवाज़ नहीं निकलती थी. अपनी पार्टी में तो क्या, विरोधी भी कुछ कहने से घबराते थे.

   सरकार बदली, सब एकाएक बदल गया. अब अपनी पार्टी के विधायक बगावत  करने लगे. जगह-जगह तृणमूल के पार्षद पार्टी छोड़ने लगे. ममता ने 80 विधायकों को बुलाया तो 20 आए.

   ममता के लिए ये Shocking है, लेकिन पार्टी छोड़कर जाने वाले कहते हैं कि दीदी तो ठीक हैं, लेकिन दादा ने बहुत डराया और सताया, जो ममता की तारीफ करते हैं, वो अभिषेक बनर्जी को कोसते हैं.

   लेकिन ममता किसी भी हाल में अभिषेक बनर्जी का साथ छोड़ने को तैयार नहीं हैं. इसलिए अगर तृणमूल कांग्रेस टूट जाए, पार्टी के विधायक बगावत कर दें, तो आश्चर्य नहीं होना चाहिए.

योगी : गऊ पशु नहीं, माता है

  बिजनौर में योगी आदित्यनाथ ने उन लोगों को जवाब दिया जो गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की मांग कर रहे हैं. योगी ने कहा कि हिन्दू गाय को माता मानते हैं, क्या किसी बेटे को मां के साथ अपने रिश्ते का सर्टिफिकेट देने की जरूरत होती है?

      योगी ने कहा कि जो लोग बकरीद के दिन गाय की फोटो लगाकर एक दूसरे को मुबारकबाद दे रहे थे, वही लोग गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने को लेकर ड्रामा कर रहे हैं, इन ढोंगियों पर कोई भरोसा नहीं करेगा, क्योंकि गाय और गंगा को हर हिंदू दिल से अपनी मां मानता है, इसलिए गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है.

      बकरीद से पहले जब बीजेपी शासित राज्यों ने गोहत्या के खिलाफ कानून को सख्ती से लागू करने की बात कही तो जमीयत उलेमा के चीफ मौलाना अरशद मदनी समेत तमाम बड़े बड़े मौलानाओं ने गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की मांग की थी.

   पहली बात तो ये कि कोई राज्य सरकार गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु  घोषित नहीं कर सकती, केन्द्र सरकार ये फैसला कर सकती है, लेकिन कुछ राज्यों में आदिवासी समाज इसका विरोध करते हैं.

  केरल में गो-कशी रोकने का कोई क़ानून नहीं है. ओडिशा में 14 साल से ज़्यादा उम्र के बैल के वध की अनुमति है. बंगाल में भी 14 साल से ज़्यादा उम्र की गाय के वध के लिए अनुमति है. असम में सिर्फ़ सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर बीफ खाने या बेचने पर बैन है. तमिलनाडु में 10 साल से ज़्यादा उम्र के बैलों का वध वैध है. नॉर्थ ईस्ट में अरुणाचल प्रदेश, मेघालय, मिज़ोरम और नगालैंड जैसे राज्यों में गोहत्या पर बैन लगाने वाला कोई क़ानून नहीं है.

    इसलिए इन राज्यों को भरोसे में लिए बगैर केन्द्र सरकार के लिए भी गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करना मुश्किल है.

     मुस्लिम संगठन और मौलाना भी इस बात को जानते हैं, इसीलए बकरीद पर मौलानाओं ने बीजेपी को बैकफुट पर लाने के लिए गाय को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने की मांग की लेकिन योगी ने इन सबके इरादों पर पानी फेर दिया.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has admitted shortcomings in the National Testing Agency (NTA) examination process and also in the online marking system (OSM) introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

     Pradhan said, as the minister, he is taking responsibility for what happened during the NEET-UG and CBSE 12th  examinations. He promised such mistakes would not happen in future.

     However, the Supreme Court has taken a strong stand. It has put several questions before the government.

     The apex court asked why steps that are being taken now to plug loopholes were not taken earlier? Did the government fix responsibility for the shortcomings?

   If those who were responsible for the shortcomings have not been identified yet, how can one give a guarantee that the NEET-UG question paper will not be leaked during re-test in June?

    On behalf of the Centre, the apex court was told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was personally keeping a watch on the situation and suggestions for using Indian Air Force aircraft to transport question papers to exam centres are being considered.

    Assistance of senior IIT experts are being taken for setting question papers and efforts are being made to make the whole process tech driven :  from setting question papers to checking of answer sheets. Since human interference will be zero, there will be no scope for leaks, the court was told.

    The Supreme Court said if the Prime Minister had to intervene to conduct an examination, it was a matter of shame for the system.

    The court asked the Centre why NEET papers are being leaked frequently and what preventive steps government and NTA took to plug loopholes. Is action being taken against those who are guilty or are they being shielded?

   The apex court said the issue relates to the future of lakhs of students and it cannot be taken lightly.

     Federation of All India Medical Associations and Association of doctors and several other organizations have petitioned the apex court demanding complete dissolution or radical structural overhaul of NTA following widespread paper leaks and cancellation of NEET-UG exam.

   Medical entrance exam question papers were leaked five times since 2015, and thrice after the NTA was set up. Questions are therefore being raised about the competence of NTA.

   Supreme Court is right in observing that it is a matter of shame if Prime Minister has to intervene to prevent the question paper of an exam being leaked.

    If the system is weak and the assistance of Indian Air Force is being sought to transport question papers to exam centres, then it is also a matter of concern.

    The Education Minister is right when he says that if paper setters or translators start leaking questions for money, what can be done?

   It is the Education Minister’s responsibility to decide what to do and how to do. Why should 22 lakh students and their families suffer the consequences of sins committed by the unscrupulous and the corrupt?

    Every family toils hard when a student prepares for an exam. How will the system compensate the families who had to go through travails?

CBSE : Use technology carefully

   Apart from NTA, questions are also being raised about the on-line marking system introduced by CBSE this year. Lakhs of students have complained about incorrect markings, change in answer sheets and incorrect totalling of marks.

   More than four lakh students applied for scanned copies of their answer sheets, the last date was May 24, CBSE portal hanged and many could not pay the fees.

    On Friday, CBSE announced a dedicated portal has been set up and students can apply from June 1 onwards for scanned copies and re-evaluation.

      Dharmendra Pradhan admitted glitches occurred in CBSE portal and the payment gateway was hacked.  He said, CBSE has now improvised its digital process and four public sector banks will clear the payments.

   Complaints of getting stuck in payment gateways had come from thousands of students in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and other cities.

    More than 4 lakh students complained of getting lower marks in Class 12 exam and had sought more than 11 lakh scanned answer sheets. Till now, CBSE has managed to send more than 8 lakh scanned sheets.

It does not matter whether Class 10 or Class 12 answer sheets were checked manually by teachers or through OSM, but marking must be correct.

    Why should lakhs of students toil hard for the whole year for exam, and when results are declared they find incorrect markings on their answer sheets?

    This is an issue relating to the future of lakhs of students. It should not be taken lightly.

    It is not the first time the CBSE has conducted exams. When it introduced online screen marking system, it should have made full preparations.

    Why should one accept that if OSM system is successful in the US and Europe, it should be the same here?

    In a place like Noida, the number of students who appeared in CBSE Class 12 exam is more than the number of all students studying in Germany, UK and France. One should have tested the efficacy of OSM system before it was implemented.

    I think, technology should be used to make tasks easier and faster, instead of creating more tension. The argument that if it is a success across the world, it will be the same here, cannot be applied in all cases.

     CBSE can take help from UP Board of Secondary Education.

     While nearly 18 lakhs  appeared in CBSE Class 12 exam, 24.86 lakh students appeared for the UP Board Class 12 exam. All answer sheets in UP were checked manually and the results came ahead of the CBSE results. There were hardly any serious complaints.

Bihar : Action against tender mafia

    Bihar chief minister Samrat Chaudhary is following in the footsteps of Yogi Adityanath in taking action against criminals and corrupt people in his state.

     Special Vigilance Unit in Patna unearthed a huge tender scam after arresting the kingpin Rishu Ranjan Sinha.

   This man was “managing” government tenders in cahoots with some corrupt officials, and was getting 9 pc commission, out of which 5 pc commission was distributed to officials.

  Nearly two crore worth gold ornaments and a huge amount of cash was seized from Rishu Ranjan’s home. Already, Enforcement Directorate is probing him in money laundering case.

    Water resources, urban development and building construction departments are being probed after the tender scam was exposed.

    Investigators found that Sinha was managing properties purchased by some officials in France, UAE and Switzerland.

He purchased 61 properties worth Rs 58 crore in the last few years.

   Tender mafia is not new in Bihar. The problem:  no action is taken because officials from top to bottom are compromised. Since Samrat Chaudhary has shown courage in dealing with such scamsters, nobody must be spared, irrespective of caste, religion or party affiliation.

शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान ने माना कि National Testing Agency (NTA)  की परीक्षा प्रणाली में कुछ कमियां हैं, CBSE के OSM पेपर चैकिंग सिस्टम में कुछ खामियां रह गई थीं, सरकार पूरे सिस्टम को दुरूस्त कर रही है.

    धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान ने कहा कि जो गड़बड़ी हुई, शिक्षा मंत्री होने के नाते वो उसकी जिम्मेदारी लेते हैं और यकीन दिलाते हैं कि भविष्य में गड़बड़ी नहीं होगी.

    लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकार से सख्त सवाल पूछे. कोर्ट ने पूछा कि जो कदम अब उठाए जा रहे हैं, वो पहले क्यों नहीं उठाए गए? अगर गड़बड़ी हुई तो क्या सरकार ने लापरवाही करने वालों की जिम्मेदारी फिक्स की?

     अगर अब तक गड़बड़ी करने वालों की पहचान ही नहीं हुई है तो फिर ये गारंटी कैसे दी जा सकती है कि फिर पेपर लीक नहीं होगा?

     सरकार की तरफ से बताया गया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी खुद इस मामले पर नजर रख रहे हैं, पेपर सुरक्षित तरीके से परीक्षा केंद्रों तक पहुंचे, इसके लिए वायु सेना की मदद लेने पर भी विचार किया जा रहा है, IIT के एक्सपर्ट्स की मदद ली जा रही है, पेपर सैट करने से लेकर परीक्षा कराने और आंसर शीट्स की चेकिंग तक पूरे सिस्टम को टेक्नोलॉजी driven बनाने की कोशिश की जा रही है, human interference जीरो रहेगा, और गड़बड़ी की गुंजाइश नहीं बचेगी.

लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि अगर एक परीक्षा कराने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़े तो ये पूरे सिस्टम के लिए शर्मनाक है.

  सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने  कड़ी फटकार लगाई, पूछा, आख़िर बार-बार पेपर लीक क्यों हो रहे हैं? पिछली बार जो पेपर लीक हुआ था उसके बाद सरकार और  NTA ने लीक रोकने के लिए क्या क़दम उठाए? किसकी ज़िम्मेदारी तय की गई है?  दोषियों पर क्या कार्रवाई की?  या  जांच के नाम पर सिर्फ़ लीपापोती की जा रही है?

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि ये मसला लाखों बच्चों के भविष्य से जुड़ा है, इसलिए इसे हल्के में नहीं लिया जा सकता.

  नीट पेपर लीक होने के बाद डॉक्टर्स एसोसिएशन समेत कई संस्थाओं ने NTA को ख़त्म करके  परीक्षा का नया सिस्टम बनाने की मांग की थी.

   2015 से लेकर अब तक मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षा का पेपर  पांच बार लीक हो चुका है, NTA बनने के बाद तीन बार NEET का पेपर लीक हो गया, इसीलिए NTA की क्षमता पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं.

   धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने कहा कि सरकार ने पेपर सैट करने से लेकर परीक्षा केंद्र तक पेपर पहुंचाने के पूरे सिस्टम में जहां जहां कमियां नजर आईं, उन्हें दुरुस्त किया है, पहली बार NEET का पेपर परीक्षा केंद्र तक पहुंचाने में वायुसेना की मदद लेने का फैसला किया गया है.

    धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने भी कुछ सुझाव दिए हैं, उन पर भी अमल हो रहा है.

     सुप्रीम कोर्ट की बात सही है कि अगर एक परीक्षा पेपर को लीक होने से बचाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़े तो ये सब के लिए  शर्म की बात है.

   अगर सिस्टम इतना कमजोर है कि पेपर परीक्षा केंद्रों  तक सुरक्षित पहुंचाने के लिए वायु सेना की मदद लेनी पड़े तो ये चिंता की बात है.

   शिक्षा मंत्री की ये बात सही है कि अगर पेपर सैट करने वाले ही पेपर लीक करने लगे, अगर अनुवाद करने वाले लालच में अंधे हो जाएं, तो क्या किया जा सकता है?

    लेकिन क्या करना है, कैसे करना है, इसकी जिम्मेदारी शिक्षा मंत्री की है. बेईमानी और लूट करने वालों के पाप का खामियाजा परीक्षा देने वाले 22 लाख छात्र क्यों भुगतें?

  एक-एक छात्र के साथ पूरा परिवार मेहनत करता है, करोड़ों लोगों को जो परेशानी हुई, उसकी भरपाई सिस्टम कैसे करेगा ?

CBSE : टेक्नोलॉजी का सोच समझ कर इस्तेमाल करें

   NTA के साथ साथ CBSE के ऑन स्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम पर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं. लाखों छात्रों ने गलत मार्किंग, कॉपी बदलने और नंबर्स के ग़लत टोटल को लेकर शिकायतें की हैं.

  चार लाख बच्चों ने अपनी आंसर शीट की कॉपी के लिए अप्लाई किया. आंसर शीट की कॉपी के लिए एप्लाई करने की लास्ट डेट 24 मई थी, लेकिन CBSE की website hang कर गई, फीस का पेमेंट नहीं हुआ.

   शुक्रवार को CBSE ने ऐलान किया कि जो बच्चे आंसर शीट की कॉपी के लिए या फिर री-इवैल्युएशन के लिए एप्लाई करना चाहते हैं, वो 1 जून से CBSE की वेबसाइट पर आवेदन कर सकते हैं. इसके लिए dedicated portal एक जून से काम करना शुरू कर देगा.

   धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने माना कि, CBSE के पोर्टल में टेक्निकल ग्लिच आ रहे थे, पेमेंट गेटवे भी हैक हो गया था, इसीलिए छात्रों को परेशानी हुई. लेकिन अब CBSE ने सिस्टम सुधार लिया है, चार सरकारी बैंकों के साथ पेमेंट क्लियर करने का एग्रीमेंट हो गया है.

   जिन छात्रों ने एप्लाई किया, पोर्टल पर अपनी डिटेल अपलोड कर दी, वो पेमेंट गेटवे पर जाकर अटक गए. ऐसी शिकायतें दिल्ली, मुंबई, कोलकाता, लखनऊ, अहमदाबाद सहित कई शहरों से आईं.

   इस साल CBSE  बारहवीं की परीक्षा देने वाले चार लाख से ज़्यादा बच्चों ने कम अंक आने की शिकायतें की, 11 लाख से ज़्यादा स्कैन्ड आंसर शीट  CBSE से मांगी थी. अब तक CBSE 8 लाख से ज़्यादा कॉपी भेज पाया है.

   मुश्किल ये है कि जिन बच्चों को कॉपी मिल चुकी है, वो भी परेशान हैं. छात्रों की शिकायत है कि उन्हें कई विषयों में कम नंबर मिले.

   CBSE 10वीं और 12वीं के छात्रों  की कॉपियां ऑन स्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम से जांचे या मैन्युअली शिक्षकों से जंचवाए, लेकिन मार्किंग सही होनी चाहिए.

   ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है कि बच्चे साल भर पढ़ाई करें, ईमानदारी से इम्तहान दें और जब रिजल्ट आए तो सिर पकड़ कर बैठ जाएं, आंसर शीट की कॉपी और री-इवैल्यूवेशन के लिए एप्लाई करते रहें ?

    ये लाखों बच्चों के भविष्य का सवाल है, इसलिए इसे हल्के में नहीं लिया जा सकता. CBSE कोई पहली बार परीक्षा तो करवा नहीं रहा. अगर उसे ऑन स्क्रीन मार्किंग का सिस्टम लागू करना था तो पूरी तैयारी भी करनी चाहिए थी.

    अगर ये सिस्टम अमेरिका और यूरोप में कामयाब है तो हमारे यहां भी सफल होगा, ये कैसे मान लिया गया?

   हमारे यहां सिर्फ नोएडा में जितने बच्चे बारहवीं की परीक्षा देते हैं, उतने जर्मनी, ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस जैसे पूरे देश में नहीं होते.

   इसीलिए OSM को लागू करने से पहले उसकी क्षमता को भी टेस्ट करना चाहिए था.

    मुझे लगता है कि टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल काम को जल्दी और आसान करने के लिए होना चाहिए, टेंशन बढ़ाने के लिए नहीं.

   हर मामले में ये तर्क सही नहीं हो सकता कि ये सिस्टम दुनिया भर में सफल है, तो हमारे यहां भी होगा.

    CBSE चाहे तो यूपी बोर्ड से कुछ मदद ले सकता है. CBSE में 12वीं के कुल 18 लाख छात्रों ने परीक्षा दी, जबकि यूपी बोर्ड में 24 लाख 86 हज़ार छात्रों ने बारहवीं की परीक्षा दी. मैन्युअली कॉपियां चेक हुईं, CBSE से पहले रिजल्ट आ गया और कहीं कोई शिकायत नहीं आई.

बिहार : टेंडर माफिया पर कार्रवाई

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी आजकल योगी की राह पर चल रहे हैं. अपराधियों और भ्रष्टाचार करने वालों के खिलाफ एक्शन ले रहे हैं.

  पटना में स्पेशल विजिलेंस यूनिट ने सरकारी टेंडरों में हेराफेरी का घोटाला उजागर किया है. टेंडर में घोटालों के ज़रिए करोड़ों की काली कमाई करने वाले शख्स ऋषु रंजन सिन्हा  को गिरफ्तार किया है.

    ये शख्स अफसरों के साथ मिलीभगत करके सरकारी टेंडर मैनेज करता था, जिसको टेंडर दिलाता था उससे नौ परसेंट कमीशन लेता था जिसमें से पांच परसेंट हिस्सा अफसरों को मिलता था.

   ऋषु रंजन के घर से करीब 2 करोड़ रुपये के सोने और ज़ेवरात, भारी मात्रा में कैश बरामद हुए.

  ऋषु रंजन सिन्हा के खिलाफ मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के केस में ED भी जांच कर रही है. सबसे ज्यादा ठेके जल संसाधन, नगर विकास और भवन निर्माण विभाग से दिलाए, इसलिए अब इन विभागों की भी जांच की जा रही है.

    पता ये भी लगा है कि कुछ अफसरों ने फ्रांस, UAE और स्विट्जरलैंड जैसे देशों में प्रॉपर्टी खरीदी है. इन सारी प्रॉपर्टीज को ऋषु सिन्हा ही मैनेज करता था.

    ऋषु ने पिछले कई सालों में 58 करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा की 61 प्रॉपर्टी खरीदीं.

    बिहार में टेंडर माफिया नया नहीं है. समस्या ये है कि ऊपर से लेकर नीचे तक सब मिले रहते हैं, इसलिए कोई एक्शन नहीं होता.

   अगर अब सम्राट चौधरी ने भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया है, हिम्मत दिखाई है तो इसमें तेरा-मेरा नहीं होना चाहिए, एक्शन सबके खिलाफ होना चाहिए, चाहे वो किसी जाति या दल या धर्म का हो.

For the first time in last 50 years, Eid prayers were not offered on roads across West Bengal.

     Bakrid was celebrated peacefully in Bengal, UP, MP, Delhi and other states and no ‘qurbani’ (animal slaughter) was allowed in the open.

     Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s government ensured that Eid prayers were held in grounds and traffic of roads was not blocked. The main Eid namaz was held in Kolkata’s Brigade Parade ground instead of Red Road.

     Those who were making dire predictions about BJP going to ban namaz in Bengal must have got their answers by now.

    The question is: why Left Front and TMC governments in the past failed to stop Eid prayers that were being offered on roads?

    Question arises, why Left Front government allowed Eid prayers on Kolkata’s Red Road instead of Brigade Parade ground?

   Why Mamata Banerjee’s government failed to stop traffic obstruction on roads during Eid prayers for the last 15 years?

    All of us know the answer.

     It was outright appeasement of a community. But Narendra Modi was emphatic during his Bengal poll campaign. He had said, there will be no ‘tushtikaran’ (appeasement),  BJP will work for ‘santushtikaran’ (satisfaction of all).

     Leaders of Mamata Banerjee’s party like Sukhendu Sekhar Roy are openly praising Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari for doing a good job.

     Roy said, Bengal has got a hardworking and balanced chief minister after a long time and the people of the state are watching.

Mamata’s TMC facing revolts

         Sukhendu Sekhar Roy is a Rajya Sabha TMC member . In 2024, he supported the agitating doctors when the infamous R. G. Kar Hospital rape-murder incident took place. Roy says, had Mamata Banerjee taken strong action at that time, she would not have faced bad times now.

       The TMC MP said, Mamata should concentrate on saving the party instead of hunting for excuses.

      Trinamool leader Shantanu Sen has resigned as party spokesman saying he is not in a position to defend the party.

      However, leaders close to Mamata like Saugata Roy say, those criticizing the former CM cannot even win a panchayat election. He said, such things happen in politics and Mamata is facing bad times.

     Trinamool MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has complained to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla about her fellow party MP Kalyan Banerjee.

     Dastidar has alleged Kalyan Banerjee made “insulting and misogynistic” comments about women inside the House.

    Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has resigned as Trinamool Mahila Congress chief and Barasat district unit chief.

    Kalyan Banerjee said, this is the “after effect” of assembly election results and leaders like Kakoli are trying to find a safe exit.

    There is a popular saying, “even your shadow leaves you in darkness during bad times”. Revolt is brewing in Mamata’s party and already six TMC MLAs have met CM Suvendu Adhikari.

     Six out of 16 TMC councillors in Diamond Harbour have left the party. Bhatpara municipal chairman and 30 councillors have resigned. TMC councillors in Halishahar, Contai, North Barrackpore and Garulia have resigned collectively.

These are not good indications for Mamata Banerjee.

   In 2011, when Left Front lost the elections, CPI and CPI-M leaders deserted their parties to join TMC. But Sukhendu Sekhar Roy says, there is a big difference between what happened in 2011 and now.

     Trinamool leaders and workers are not angry with Mamata Banerjee. Their grouse is against her nephew Abhishek Banerjee. They say, if Mamata fails to realize this, the party is doomed.

CBSE chaos : Who is responsible?

  Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has defended the use of OSM (on-screen marking) system in CBSE exam saying this process is being used the world over. For the first time, OSM was used to check answer sheets of CBSE Class 12 exam.

   Pradhan admitted there were some shortcomings in the system which are being rectified.

He has instructed CBSE officials to resolve complaints of all students. He has asked them to send scanned answer sheets to all those candidates who have demanded a recheck.

   When results were declared, thousands of students complained of getting poor marks which they had not expected.

  CBSE data show,  average marks for Class 12 last year were more than 88 pc, but this average slumped to 85 pc this time. There was a 16 per cent decline in numbers of students who scored more than 90 pc.

    When CBSE opened its portal for re-evaluation of answer sheets, it crashed several times.

     For the first time, nearly 25 pc candidates sought a recheck of their answer sheets.

     More than 18 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 12 exam this year, out of which more than four lakh sought recheck.

       The allegation that is being made is that the CBSE governing body implemented OSM without any fool proof preparedness. Teachers complained that they were not properly trained for OSM marking.

   The OSM contract was given to a Hyderabad company which had a questionable image in the past.

     It has also been alleged that machines that were installed by CBSE for scanning answer sheets did not scan many of them.

   Several pages were shown blank despite the fact that students had written on those pages. The result: several candidates got marks less than what they had expected.

When CBSE gave students the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation, the portal did not work properly.

    Dharmendra Pradhan’s intentions may be good.  He tried to improvise the CBSE marking system, but his officers implemented OSM without full preparedness.

     When students faced problems, CBSE, instead of removing the lacunae, tried to cover up. When glaring mistakes were pointed out, CBSE admitted there were lapses in the process.

   While implementing a new system, one must expect in advance that if a large number of students apply for re-evaluation, can the portal take this load.

    The question arises, why was this system implemented without carrying out a fool proof check at all levels?

   Who will bear responsibility for the problems that the students are facing?

देशभर में पुरअमन तरीके से बकरीद का त्योहार मनाया गया. बंगाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, दिल्ली समेत ज्यादातर राज्यों में कहीं सड़क पर नमाज नहीं हुई, कहीं खुले में कुर्बानी नहीं दी गई, कहीं कोई झगड़ा नहीं हुआ.

  बंगाल में पचास साल के बाद पहली बार बकरीद के दिन सड़कों पर ट्रैफिक नहीं रुका. शुभेन्दु अधिकारी की सरकार ने सड़क पर नमाज पढ़ने पर रोक लगाई लेकिन नमाजियों के लिए खास इंतजाम किए.

  अमूमन हर साल कोलकाता के रेड रोड पर ईद की नमाज़ होती है, लेकिन इस बार ब्रिगेड परेड ग्राउंड में नमाज़ हुई.

बंगाल के दूसरे शहरों में भी यही हुआ. मुसलमानों ने सहयोग किया, न पुलिस को सख्ती करनी पड़ी, न नमाजियों को दिक्कत हुई.

    जो लोग ये कह रहे थे कि बीजेपी की सरकार आएगी तो मुसलमानों को नमाज़ पढ़ने से रोका जाएगा, बंगालियों का माछ-भात खाना बंद हो जाएगा, आज उन लोगों को जवाब मिल गया होगा.

   नमाज भी हुई, ट्रैफिक भी नहीं रुका. शुभेन्दु अधिकारी ने बिना किसी सख्ती के जो काम सिर्फ बीस दिन में कर दिखाया, वह काम बंगाल में पचास साल के दौरान CPM और तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सरकारें क्यों नहीं कर पाईं?

    सवाल ये है कि जब कोलकाता में 1978 तक ईद की नमाज ग्राउंड में होती थी तो फिर उस वक्त वाम मोर्चा सरकार ने रोड पर नमाज की अनुमति क्यों दी?

  फिर पन्द्रह साल के राज में ममता बनर्जी ने नमाज के लिए ट्रैफिक जाम करने वालों को क्यों नहीं रोका?

   सब जानते हैं इसी को तुष्टीकरण कहते हैं लेकिन नरेन्द्र मोदी ने बंगाल में  चुनाव प्रचार के समय कहा था, बीजेपी आएगी तो तुष्टीकरण किसी का नहीं होगा, सबके संतुष्टीकरण के लिए काम होगा.

   आज मुस्लिम भाइयों की बात सुनकर लगा कि शुभेन्दु अधिकारी इसी मंत्र पर चल रहे हैं.

   अब तो ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी के नेता भी शुभेन्दु अधिकारी की तारीफ कर रहे हैं. आज सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय ने कहा कि शुभेन्दु अधिकारी जैसा मेहनती और सुलझा हुआ मुख्यमंत्री बंगाल को पहली बार मिला है और इसका असर क्या होता है, वो बंगाल की जनता देख रही है.

ममता : बुरे वक्त में परछाई भी छोड़ गई

    सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय तृणमूल कांग्रेस के राज्यसभा सांसद हैं. 2024 में आर जी  कर अस्पताल में बलात्कार और हत्या की घटना के बाद वो तृणमूल कांग्रेस के पहले नेता थे जो पीड़ित डॉक्टर के लिए न्याय की मांग को लेकर धरने पर बैठे डॉक्टर्स के समर्थन में बोले. खुद भी धरने पर बैठे.

    आज सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय ने कहा कि अगर ममता ने उस वक्त जनता के गुस्से को समझा होता और कड़ी कार्रवाई की होती, तो इतना बुरा वक्त न देखना पड़ता.

   सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय ने कहा कि अब इधर उधर की बातें करने के बजाए ममता को पार्टी बचाने पर ध्यान देना चाहिए क्योंकि जो हालात हैं उससे तो तृणमूल कांग्रेस का अस्तित्व ही खतरे में दिख रहा है.

   तृणमूल कांग्रेस के प्रवक्ता शांतनु सेन ने कहा अब वो पब्लिक फोरम पर पार्टी का बचाव नहीं कर सकते, इसलिए प्रवक्ता पद से इस्तीफा दे रहे हैं.

   ममता बनर्जी के करीबी नेताओं को सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय और शांतनु सेन जैसे लोगों की बातें बुरी लग रही हैं. पार्टी के वरिष्ठ सांसद सौगत राय ने कहा कि जो लोग आज ममता बनर्जी की आलोचना कर रहे हैं, उनकी हैसियत पंचायत चुनाव जीतने की नहीं है लेकिन राजनीति में ये सब होता है, आज ममता का बुरा वक्त है, लेकिन वक्त बदलने में देर नहीं लगती.

    तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद काकोली घोष दस्तीदार ने भी मोर्चा खोल दिया है. काकोली ने तृणमूल महिला कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष पद और बारासात जिला अध्यक्ष के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया.

   काकोली ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस के चीफ व्हिप कल्याण बनर्जी के खिलाफ शिकायत करते हुए लोक सभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला को पत्र भेजा है. इसमें आरोप लगाया गया है कि कल्याण बनर्जी ने सदन के अंदर उनके खिलाफ भद्दे कमेंट्स किये. साथ में ये भी कहा कि कल्याण बनर्जी महिला सांसदों के खिलाफ भद्दी टिप्पणियां करते हैं.

   कल्याण बनर्जी ने काकोली घोष के आरोपों को विधानसभा चुनाव नतीजों का आफ्टर इफैक्ट बताया. कल्याण बनर्जी ने कहा कि सब अपना अपना रास्ता देख रहे हैं, काकोली को भी कहीं मौका दिख रहा होगा वरना उन्होंने पहले शिकायत क्यों नहीं की.

    कहावत है बुरे वक्त में तो परछाई भी साथ छोड़ जाती है. ममता की पार्टी में वही हो रहा है.

  तृणमूल कांग्रेस में भगदड़ मची है. पार्टी के सांसद भागने का  रास्ता खोज रहे हैं. छह विधायक शुभेन्दु अधिकारी के साथ आ चुके हैं.

    डायमंड हार्बर में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के 16 में से 6 पार्षद पार्टी छोड़ चुके हैं, भाटपाड़ा में चेयरमैन समेत 30 पार्षदों ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस छोड़ दी. हालीशहर, कांथी, उत्तर बैरकपुर और गारूलिया में भी तृणमूल कांग्रेस के पार्षदों ने सामूहिक इस्तीफा दिया है.

    ये ममता के लिए अच्छा संकेत नहीं है. 2011 में जब वाम मोर्चा हारा था तो CPI-M और CPI के लोग भी इसी तरह पार्टी छोड़कर ममता की तरफ भागे थे लेकिन सुखेंदु शेखर रॉय ने कहा कि 2011 में जो हुआ और आज जो हो रहा है, उसमें फर्क है.

  तृणमूल कांग्रेस के लोगों में ममता के प्रति नाराजगी नहीं है, गुस्सा ममता के भतीजे अभिषेक बनर्जी को लेकर है और अगर ममता ने इस बात को नहीं समझा तो तृणमूल कांग्रेस खत्म हो जाएगी.

छात्रों की परेशानी की ज़िम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?

    शिक्षामंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान ने CBSE  परीक्षा को लेकर कहा कि OSM सिस्टम पूरी दुनिया में इस्तेमाल होता है, इसे पहली बार CBSE बोर्ड परीक्षा की कॉपियों की जांच में इस्तेमाल किया गया, इसलिए कुछ खामियां रह गईं, जो कमियां सामने आईं, उन्हें जल्द ठीक किया जा रहा है.

   धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने CBSE के अधिकारियों को आदेश दिया कि छात्रों की शिकायतें जल्द दूर की जाएं, जिन बच्चों ने अपनी answer-sheet रि-चेक करने की मांग की है, उनको scanned आंसरशीट जल्द भेजी जाएं.

  इस साल CBSE ने बारहवीं की answer-sheets को ऑनस्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम से चेक कराया था जिसमें बच्चों की कॉपी को स्कैन करके एक पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया गया.

  इस पोर्टल पर ही examiners ने कॉपी जांची और बच्चों को marks दिए लेकिन रिज़ल्ट आने के बाद बहुत से बच्चों ने उम्मीद से कम मार्क्स मिलने की शिकायत की.

  ख़ुद CBSE के डेटा के मुताबिक़, पिछले साल जहां बारहवीं क्लास के एवरेज मार्क्स  88 परसेंट से ज़्यादा थे, वहीं इस बार औसत नंबर घटकर 85 परसेंट रह गए. 90 परसेंट से ज़्यादा मार्क्स लाने वाले छात्र भी 16 परसेंट घट गए.

  जब CBSE ने आंसरशीट के रि-इवैल्यूएशन के लिए पोर्टल खोला, तो छात्रों को उसमें दिक़्क़तें आईं.

  पहली बार  लगभग 25 परसेंट स्टूडेंट्स ने अपनी आंसरशीट re-check करने की रिक्वेस्ट की. इस साल 18 लाख से ज़्यादा छात्रों ने CBSE की बारहवीं की परीक्षा दी थी.

   चार लाख से ज़्यादा छात्रों ने अपनी copy रि-चेक करने की request CBSE से की.

    धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने बताया कि छात्रों ने अलग अलग विषयों की 11 लाख से ज़्यादा कॉपियां मांगी हैं, 8 लाख से ज़्यादा digital copies भेज भी दी गई हैं, बाक़ी भेजी जा रही हैं.

   आरोप ये लगाया जा रहा है कि CBSE की गवर्निंग बॉडी ने बिना किसी तैयारी के OSM सिस्टम लागू किया. शिक्षकों की शिकायत है कि उन्हें ऑन-स्क्रीन मार्किंग सिस्टम की ट्रेनिंग नहीं दी गई.

  CBSE ने OSM का ठेका  हैदराबाद की कंपनी को दिया जिसकी छवि पहले से खराब है. ये भी आरोप है कि CBSE की तरफ़ से परीक्षा की कॉपियों की  स्कैनिंग के लिए जो मशीनें लगाई गई थीं, उन मशीनों से बहुत सी कॉपियां स्कैन  ही नहीं हुईं, कई ऐसे पन्नों को ब्लैंक बता दिया, जिन पर बच्चों ने जवाब लिखे थे. इससे उनको कम अंक मिले.

  जब CBSE ने पुनर्मूल्यांकन के लिए छात्रों को आवेदन  करने का मौक़ा दिया तो उसका portal ठीक से चल नहीं रहा था.

    धर्मेंद्र प्रधान की बात सुनकर लगता है कि नीयत ठीक थी. उन्होंने CBSE का सिस्टम सुधारने की कोशिश की लेकिन अफसरों ने बिना पूरी तैयारी के OSM लागू कर दिया. जब छात्रों को समस्या हुई तो Portal की कमियों को दूर करने की बजाए CBSE ने cover-up करने की कोशिश की. जब पकड़े गए तो सिस्टम की कमियों को स्वीकार किया.

  किसी भी नये सिस्टम को लागू करने से पहले ये सोचना चाहिए कि जब इतनी बड़ी संख्या में छात्र revaluation के लिए apply करेंगे, तो क्या वो इतना load ले पाएगा?

  इसलिए सवाल पैदा होता है कि ऐसा सिस्टम बनाया ही क्यों जिसे हर पैमाने पर चैक नहीं किया गया था?

    छात्रों को जो परेशानी हुई, उसकी जिम्मेदारी कौन लेगा?

 The Supreme Court in its landmark judgement on Wednesday held as constitutionally valid the Election Commission’s decision to conduct Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

     The bench of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi said, EC has the right to conduct a preliminary inquiry into citizenship of a person seeking inclusion of his name as a voter.

    The bench rejected the opposition’s stand that SIR was an arbitrary and exclusionary exercise.

    The apex court said, EC has the constitutional mandate to ensure free and fair elections, based on the integrity, accuracy and purity of voter lists.

     In essence, the Supreme Court has made several points quite clear.  The EC was targeted by opposition parties during the SIR exercise, first in Bihar and then in West Bengal.

    At that time, several opposition parties had alleged that the EC was working as a “puppet” of the Centre and as a ‘middleman’ of BJP.

     After the SC verdict came, leaders of INDIA bloc parties were stunned. BJP said, the SC verdict is a slap on the face of Congress.

    Interestingly, disclosures that are being made by infiltrators at the India-Bangladesh border in Bengal clearly point out towards the necessity of carrying out SIR exerice.

    These infiltrators are presently waiting at Hakimpur border checkpost in North 24 Parganas of West Bengal. They want to return to Bangladesh.

       Most of these infiltrators admitted they used to cast votes in  Bengal elections, they had illegally crossed the border from Bangladesh, and obtained fake Aadhar, PAN and voter i-cards.

    Asked why they want to return to Bangladesh, most of the infiltrators said, the SIR process conducted by EC let the cat out of the bag. They said, their names were deleted from electoral rolls during SIR, and out of fear of being caught, they have decided to return to Bangladesh.

    One Bangladeshi woman Mehfooza Khatoon said, she voted for Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress in several elections. She also admitted she was getting benefits of several welfare measures in Bengal, but after BJP came to power, the situation has changed.   

     Her son Riazul Sheikh said, he attained the age of 18 in 2024, got his name included in electoral list, and voted in the last Lok Sabha election.

    Surprisingly, his name was not deleted during SIR process. He again cast his vote in the last assembly elections, but the names of his parents were deleted from electoral rolls.

     There are dozens of such families waiting at Hakimpur check post. Had it not been for SIR, thousands of such families would have continued to stay in India and getting welfare benefits.

     After the Supreme Court verdict, it has now become clear that Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of “vote chori (theft)” was baseless.

    Mamata Banerjee’s allegation that the EC was acting at the behest of BJP and deleting names from electoral rolls has been proved incorrect.

    On the contrary, it has now been admitted by Bangladeshi infiltrators that they obtained Aadhar, PAN and voter identity cards based on fake info and with the help of leaders from Trinamool Congress, they spread out to live in different parts of India. SIR  exposed their fake identities and forced them to return to Bangladesh.

    Can anyone now raise questions about SIR after the SC verdict and the disclosures made by infiltrators?

   Whom will Rahul Gandhi blame for his party’s electoral defeats?

   SIR was carried out in Kerala, then how did his party come to power in the assembly elections?

   Will fingers be now pointed at the Supreme Court?

    It would be better if people from both sides stop dragging Constitutional bodies into politics.

Bengal : 30 lakh fake beneficiaries detected

       West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has made a startling disclosure.

    While launching his government’s Annapurna scheme to provide Rs 3000 monthly assistance to women, Adhikari disclosed that names of nearly 30 lakh women have been found to be fake in the list of beneficiaries of Mamata Banerjee’s Lakshmi Bhandar scheme.

    Adhikari said, most of them are Bangladeshis and their names have been deleted from electoral rolls.

       These fake beneficiaries were getting Rs 1500 per month during TMC rule, apart from getting assistance for building house and free ration.

     This is not a problem relating to West Bengal alone. Infiltrators have spread out to different states of India. They are cornering benefits from welfare measures, which rightly belong to poor Indian citizens.

     Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has set up a high-level committee headed by a retired SC judge to analyse demographic changes caused by infiltration.

      One should hope the committee will start its work at the earliest and the problem of infiltration is solved once and for all.

Bakrid : Why disputes over Qurbani?

   There was tension in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar and Goregaon residential societies on Wednesday after it was found that goats had been brought for ‘qurbani’ (sacrifice) during Bakrid festival.

    In both places, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had given permission for slaughtering in advance. When residents of these societies objected, BMC withdrew its permission.

      BMC deputy mayor said, 119 places were earmarked for Qurbani during Bakrid.

    Bakrid date was known much in advance and BMC could have allotted spots for Qurbani in advance. Withdrawal of permission for Qurbani at the twelfth hour causes unnecessary problems.

    Such issues could have been ironed out through discussions with stakeholders. Let us hope Eid is celebrated peacefully.  Eid Mubarak to all.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीज़न (SIR) को लेकर बहुत सारी बातें साफ कर दीं. पहले बिहार चुनाव के समय और फिर बंगाल चुनाव के दौरान SIR को लेकर चुनाव आयोग पर जबरदस्त हमले किए गए.

   चुनाव आयोग को ‘बिका हुआ’, ‘बीजेपी का दलाल’, ‘केन्द्र सरकार की कठपुतली’, न जाने क्या-क्या कहा गया लेकिन बुधवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जो फैसला सुनाया, उसके बाद विपक्षी INDIA गठबंधन के नेताओं को सांप सूंघ गया.

  सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि SIR की प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह संवैधानिक है, स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष चुनाव कराने के लिए वोटर लिस्ट का शुद्धीकरण जरूरी है और ये आयोग की जिम्मेदारी है. इसलिए SIR करवा कर आयोग ने अपनी संवैधानिक जिम्मेदारी का निर्वहन किया है.

  सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ये भी स्पष्ट किया कि चुनाव आयोग नागरिकता पर फैसला नहीं कर सकता और SIR का नागरिकता से कोई संबंध नहीं है.

   चूंकि बार-बार ये आरोप लगाया गया था कि SIR के बहाने चुनाव आयोग बड़े पैमाने पर लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से काट रहा है, ये विरोधी दलों को चुनाव में हराने की साजिश है, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि जिन लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से कटे, उन्हें पूरा मौका दिया गया, नियमों के दायरे में रहकर ही चुनाव आयोग ने वोटर लिस्ट से नाम काटे.

    सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले को बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस के मुंह पर तमाचा कहा. चीफ जस्टिस सूर्यकांत और जस्टिस जयमाल्य बागची की पीठ ने अपने फैसले में कहा कि वोटर लिस्ट की विश्वसनीयता बनाए रखने के लिए SIR ज़रूरी है.

   यहां मैं बता दूं कि भारत-बांग्लादेश के हाकिमपुर बॉर्डर चेकपोस्ट पर बैठे बांग्लादेशियों ने जो बातें बताईं, उन्हें सुन कर साफ लगता है कि SIR क्यों ज़रूरी था.

बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों ने हैरान करने वाले खुलासे किये, कहा, वो बांग्लादेशी हैं, लेकिन पश्चिम बंगाल में वोट डालते थे, सीमा पार करके भारत में घुसे थे लेकिन उनके पास आधार कार्ड, पैन नंबर,  वोटर कार्ड भी है.

    जब पूछा गया कि आपके पास सब कुछ है तो वापस क्यों जा रहे हो, तो बताया कि SIR के चक्कर में सब गड़बड़ हो गई, वोटर लिस्ट से नाम कट गया, अब पकड़े जाने का डर है, इसलिए मजबूरी में अपने मुल्क लौट रहे हैं.

   एक बांग्लादेशी महिला महफूज़ा खातून ने बताया कि उसने पिछले कई चुनावों में ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी को वोट दिया, उन्हें बंगाल में सरकार की सारी योजनाओं के फायदे भी मिल रहे थे लेकिन बंगाल में सरकार बदली तो हालात बदल गए हैं.

    महफूजा खातून के बेटे रियाजुल शेख ने बताया कि वो 2024 में  18 साल का हुआ था, उसी साल उसका नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जुड़ गया, उसने पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में वोट डाला.

    हैरानी की बात ये है कि SIR के दौरान उसका नाम वोटर लिस्ट से नहीं कटा. उसने पिछले महीने विधानसभा चुनाव में भी वोट डाला.  लेकिन उसके माता-पिता का नाम वोटर लिस्ट से कट गया है.

   इस तरह दर्जनों परिवार इस वक्त हाकिमपुर बॉर्डर चेक पोस्ट पर जमा हैं. अगर SIR न हुआ होता, तो ये घुसपैठिए आराम से हमारे देश में ही जमे रहते.

    सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपने फैसले में साफ कर दिया कि SIR के जरिये मनमर्जी से किसी का वोट न तो काटा गया और न काटा जा सकता है. इसका मतलब है राहुल गांधी का वोट चोरी का आरोप फर्जी है. ममता बनर्जी का ये कहना कि चुनाव आयोग BJP के इशारे पर वोट काटता है, गलत साबित हुआ.

  उल्टा ये साबित हो गया कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने बांग्लादेश से आए घुसपैठियों के वोटर कार्ड बनवाए, बांग्लादेशियों ने खुद बताया कि उनके आधार और पैन कार्ड किसने बनवाए और ममता बनर्जी की पार्टी की मदद से वो देश के दूसरे हिस्सों तक पहुंच सके.

   अब SIR में पकड़े गए, बंगाल में सरकार भी बदल गई, इसलिए वो अपने वतन वापस लौट रहे हैं.

   सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले और बांग्लादेशियों की बात सुनने के बाद कोई भी SIR पर सवाल कैसे उठा सकता है?  

     सवाल तो ये है कि राहुल गांधी अपनी हार के लिए अब किसे जिम्मेदार ठहराएंगे?

  इस बात का क्या जवाब देंगे कि SIR तो केरल में भी हुआ था, वहां कांग्रेस की सरकार कैसे बन गई? क्या अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट पर भी सवाल उठाए जाएंगे?

   अच्छा तो ये होगा कि दोनों तरफ से संवैधानिक संस्थाओं को राजनीति में न घसीटा जाए.

बंगाल में 30 लाख महिलाएं फर्जी पाई गईं

      SIR का एक असर तो बॉर्डर पर दिख रहा है,  दूसरा असर पश्चिम बंगाल पर दिखा. मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने बताया कि ममता बनर्जी की सरकार घुसपैठियों को सरकारी योजनाओं का फायदा दे रही थी, घर बनाने के लिए पैसे दे रही थी, लक्ष्मी भंडार योजना के तहत हर महीने 1500 रुपये दे रही थी, मुफ्त राशन दे रही थी.

   बुधवार को शुभेंदु अधिकारी की सरकार ने अन्नपूर्णा योजना के लिए आवेदन फॉर्म जारी किये. 1 जून से 30 अगस्त तक महिलाएं ये फॉर्म भर पाएंगी. इस स्कीम के तहत 25 साल से 60 साल तक की उम्र की सभी महिलाओं को हर महीने 3 हज़ार रुपये मिलेंगे. ये पैसा सीधे बैंक खाते में ट्रांसफर होगा.

      शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने खुलासा किया कि लक्ष्मी भंडार योजना में 30 लाख ऐसी महिलाओं को पैसा दिया जा रहा था जिनके नाम SIR में वोटर लिस्ट से कट गए, इनमें ज्यादातर बांग्लादेशी हैं.

     सोचिए घुसपैठिए हमारे देश के लिए कितनी बड़ी समस्या हैं, वे किस तरह हमारे संसाधनों का फायदा उठा रहे हैं.

    अभी तो सिर्फ ये पता लगा है कि तीस लाख बांग्लादेशी लक्ष्मी भंडार योजना के तहत हर महीने 1500 रु. ले रहे थे, लेकिन मुफ्त राशन, मुफ्त इलाज, मुफ्त में घर, विधवा पेंशन, छात्रों की स्कॉलरशिप जैसी दर्जनों योजनाएं सरकार चलाती हैं.

  ये सारी स्कीम्स हमारे देश के गरीबों की मदद के लिए हैं, लेकिन घुसपैठिए गरीबों का हक मार रहे हैं.

   ये समस्या सिर्फ बंगाल की नहीं है, घुसपैठिए तो सारे देश में फैल चुके हैं और ये संख्या इतनी ज्यादा है कि कई इलाकों में तो घुसपैठियों के कारण डैमोग्राफी बदल गई. इसलिए नरेन्द्र मोदी ने डैमोग्राफी में बदलाव पर विचार करने के लिए एक उच्च स्तरीय कमेटी बनाई है.

   उम्मीद करनी चाहिए कि ये कमेटी जल्द काम शुरू करेगी और घुसपैठ की समस्या पर फुल स्टॉप लगेगा.

बकरीद : मुंबई में कुर्बानी पर विवाद क्यों उठा?

   बकरीद से पहले मुंबई के घाटकोपर और गोरेगांव में हंगामा हुआ. BMC ने बकरीद पर सोसायटीज में या खुली जगह में कुर्बानी पर रोक लगाई थी, लेकिन कुछ लोग कुर्बानी के बकरे लेकर सोसायटीज में पहुंच गए तो हंगामा शुरू हो गया.

     दो सोसायटीज में ज्यादातर लोग मुस्लिम थे इसलिए BMC ने सोसायटी में कुर्बानी की अनुमति दे दी, लेकिन जब विवाद बढा तो BMC को अनुमति वापस लेनी पड़ी. घाटकोपर की सागर पार्क सोसायटी में कुर्बानी के बकरों के लिए शेड बनाया गया था, 30 से ज्यादा बकरे लाये गये थे, लेकिन हिंदुओं ने जब विरोध किया तो मंगलवार रात BMC ने कु्र्बानी की अनुमति वापस ले ली.

   गोरेगांव के गोकुलधाम इलाके की आजाद पार्क सोसायटी में बीएमसी ने मुसलमानों को कुर्बानी की इजाज़त दी थी, लेकिन स्थानीय पार्षद और सोसायटी के लोगों ने विरोध किया, तो यहां भी अनुमति वापस ले ली गई.

    बीएमसी के डिप्टी मेयर ने कहा कि कुर्बानी के लिए 119 जगह तय की गई है और वहीं कुर्बानी होनी चाहिए.

     सबको पता था कि ईद आने वाली है. ये भी मालूम था कि बकरीद पर कुर्बानी दी जाती है, इसलिए कुर्बानी कहां दी जा सकती है इसकी जगह का फैसला पहले से हो सकता था. आखिरी वक्त पर परमिशन रद्द करने या जगह बदलने से समस्या होती है.

  अगर पहले ही बातचीत करके कुछ हल निकाल लिया जाता तो बेहतर होता. उम्मीद है ईद का त्योहार खुशी से मिलजुल कर शांति से मनाया जाएगा. सभी को ईद मुबारक.

  More than 150 infiltrators have lined up near the India-Bangladesh Hakimpur checkpost in  North 24 Parganas for crossing over to their country after a statewide detection drive has begun in West Bengal.

      Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s government has set up two ‘holding centres’ in Malda and Murshidabad, while other district collectors have been asked to set up similar holding centres.

     The Chief Minister has instructed police not to send infiltrators to jails or holding centres, and hand them over to Border Security Force, who, in turn, will hand them to Bangladesh Border Guards.

     Most of the infiltrators who have lined up near Hakimpur border checkpost want to cross over to Bangladesh willingly. They will be given safe passage, but those hiding from police will be traced and sent to holding centres.

    This is clearly the effect of political change that has taken place in West Bengal after BJP swept the assembly polls.

      Infiltrators are now  fearing early detection and deportation, after having spent decades on Indian soil freely.

    India TV reporter spoke to several infiltrators near Hakimpur border.  There was one common thread running in their responses. All of them are unhappy over the electoral defeat of Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress government.

   Several infiltrators said, they had no fear of detection during TMC regime in Bengal, they could find safe places to live and got jobs. But 20 days of BJP rule in Bengal has upturned their lives. They said, they want to return to Bangladesh.

      And now, a question for all those who were asking during Bengal elections : Where are the infiltrators in Bengal?

    They should go to the border checkpost and find out for themselves. Those who were alleging that the Election Commission had removed the names of Indian citizens during SIR process, should listen to these infiltrators who are awaiting return to Bangladesh.

     Most of them had secured voter identity cards, Aadhar cards and ration cards, on false grounds. They are Bangladeshi citizens.

     Till Mamata Banerjee ruled Bengal, these infiltrators had no worries about being detected. Now the sword of detection, detention and deportation hangs over their heads.

   Infiltrators who are awaiting return to Bangladesh at the border are living answers to questions that Mamata Banerjee posed during her election campaign.

Who is changing India’s demography?

   Home Minister Amit Shah has constituted a high-level committee headed by retired Supreme Court judge Prakash Prabhakar Naolekar to study the causes behind demographic changes in India.

   Amit Shah has said, unnatural demographic changes due to infiltration and other causes have become a serious issue.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to set up a high-level committee to study the reasons behind demographic changes in India in his Independence Day speech last year.

     The committee includes retired senior IAS offer Durga Shanker Mishra, retired IPS officer Balaji Srivastava and economist Shamika Ravi. The Census Commissioner of India has also been included in the committee. Joint Secretary, Home Ministry will be the member-secretary.

   Amit Shah says, most of the infiltration takes place from Pakistan and Bangladesh borders. He has decided to spend the next 20 days near the border in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tripura and Bengal and prepare an action plan.

     Infiltration from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar has been taking place over the last several decades. In 2013, the then Congress-led UPA government had admitted that there are nearly 2.5 crore Bangladeshis illegally staying in India.

    This has resulted in demographic changes in several states and it can pose security risks. This matter has to be handled cautiously.

    Amit Shah won laurels for uprooting left-wing extremism (Maoism) in India. One must hope he will be able to detect infiltrators and deport them at the earliest.

Bakrid : Celebrate in peace

    There was tension in some residential societies in Mumbai’s Mira Bhayandar locality after more than 40 goats were brought to a shed inside a residential complex for slaughter during Bakrid.

  Hindu families objected, while Muslim residents insisted they would perform Qurbani inside the complex. Bajrang Dal activists were called in. There were clashes in which several people were injured.

     Police finally persuaded both sides and took away the goats in three trucks to a place earmarked by municipal authorities, where Qurbani will be performed during Bakrid.

      Top Muslim maulanas have appealed to people to refrain from creating controversies during Bakrid. This is a welcome step. The chief of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Maulana Arshad Madani has appealed to Muslims not to perform Qurbani (slaughter) of prohibited animals, follow government guidelines, refrain from posting pictures of slaughtered animals on social media, and taking law into own hands if any controversy arose.

      Maulana Arshad Madani has also appealed to people not to throw remains of animals slaughtered during Bakrid on roads or drains.

     Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said, Muslim community in his state has promised not to slaughter cattle during Bakrid.  Sarma said, this will help in fostering communal brotherhood.

     I think Muslims living in other states should also follow their brethren from Assam and listen to the sane advice of Maulanas. The tension that took place in a residential locality in Mumbai could have been avoided.

   State governments in UP, MP, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bengal and other states have issued strict guidelines for Qurbani during Bakrid.

     Everybody must follow these guidelines strictly. It is not the responsibility of Muslims alone to maintain communal harmony. Hindu outfits must also exercise patience. Action must be taken against miscreants, irrespective of religion, who deliberately try to create tension.

पश्चिम बंगाल में बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों की धरपकड़ के बाद उत्तरी 24 परगना के हाकिमपुर बॉर्डर चेकपोस्ट पर बांग्लादेश लौटने के लिए लोगों की कतारें लग गई हैं.

   मुख्यमंत्री शुभेन्दु अधिकारी की सरकार ने मालदा और मुर्शिदाबाद में होल्डिंग सेंटर्स बनाए हैं, जहां बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों को डिपोर्ट करने के लिए रखा जा रहा है.

   जो बांग्लादेशी कई साल पहले अवैध तरीके से बंगाल में घुसे, हमारे देश में बस गए, अब वो जल्द से जल्द वापस भागने की फिराक में हैं.

     बंगाल में सरकार बदली और बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठिए खुद अपना सामान समेट कर बॉर्डर पर पहुंच गए.

  बड़ी बात ये है कि शुभेन्दु अधिकारी ने पुलिस को निर्देश दिया है कि  बॉर्डर पर पहुंचे घुसपैठियों को जेल न भेजे, होल्डिंग सेंटर्स में न पहुंचाएं. उन्हें BSF के हवाले कर दिया जाए, BSF उन्हें बांग्लादेश बॉर्डर गार्ड्स को सौंपेगी.

   राज्य सरकार कानूनी पचड़े में पड़कर घुसपैठियों को लंबे वक्त तक माछ-भात खिलाने के मूड में नहीं है.

    बंगाल में जो घुसपैठिए खुद-ब-खुद अपने मुल्क लौट रहे हैं, उन्हें सेफ पैसेज दिया जाएगा लेकिन जो घुसपैठिए छिपे हुए हैं, उन्हें खोज-खोज कर होल्डिंग सेंटर्स में भेजा जाएगा.

   ये सब कुछ बंगाल में राजनीतिक बदलाव का असर है. बीजेपी की सरकार बनने का इतना खौफ है कि जो घुसपैठिए सालों  पहले हमारे देश में अवैध रूप से घुसे थे, वे खुद-ब-खुद वापस भागने की जुगाड़ में हैं.

  इंडिया टीवी संवाददाता ने  हाकिमपुर बॉर्डर पर इन लोगों से बात की, उन्हें हिन्दी नहीं आती, वो बांग्ला बोलते हैं. कुछ घुसपैठियों ने टूटी-फूटी हिन्दी सीख ली है.

  इन सब ने जो कहा उसमें एक बात एक जैसी थी. सबके सब ममता बनर्जी की सरकार जाने से दुखी हैं.

    ज्यादातर घुसपैठियों ने कहा कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस के ज़माने में उन्हें दिक्कत नहीं थी, उन्हें रहने की जगह भी मिल जाती थी, काम धंधा भी मिल जाता था लेकिन बीजेपी ने बीस दिन में ही जीना मुश्किल कर दिया है, इसलिए अब वतन लौटने में ही भलाई है.

    जो लोग पूछते थे कि बंगाल में घुसपैठिए कहां हैं, उन्हें सरहद पर लगी लाइनें देखनी चाहिए.

   जो कहते थे चुनाव आयोग ने SIR में अपने नागरिकों के वोट काटे, उन्हें बॉर्डर पर सामान लेकर खड़े लोगों की बात सुननी चाहिए.

    इनके पास वोटर कार्ड, आधार कार्ड और राशन कार्ड है, लेकिन सब फर्जी हैं. ये बांग्लादेशी नागरिक हैं.

     जब तक ममता बनर्जी की सरकार थी इन घुसपैठियों को लेकर किसी को परवाह नहीं थी, अब पकड़े जाने और डिटेन्शन सेंटर में जाने का डर है. इसलिए वो वापस अपने वतन जाना चाहते हैं.

  सरहद पर खड़े ये लोग उन सारे सवालों का जिंदा जवाब हैं, जो ममता बनर्जी ने घुसपैठियों के बारे में पूछे थे.

कौन कर रहे हैं डेमोग्राफी में बदलाव?

   गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने घुसपैठ की वजह से देश की डेमोग्राफी में हो रहे बदलाव के अध्ययन के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट के रिटायर्ड जज जस्टिस प्रकाश प्रभाकर नावलेकर की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्चस्तरीय समिति बनाई है.

   अमित शाह ने कहा कि घुसपैठ के कारण देश में अप्राकृतिक ढंग से डेमोग्राफी में बदलाव  हुए हैं, जो एक बड़ी समस्या है.

    प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पिछले साल लालकिले से इस तरह की उच्च स्तरीय समिति बनाने का वादा किया था, जिसे पूरा किया गया है.

   रिटायर्ड IAS अधिकारी दुर्गा शंकर मिश्र, रिटायर्ड IPS अधिकारी बालाजी श्रीवास्तव और अर्थशास्त्री शमिका रवि समिति के सदस्य होंगे. गृह मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव इस समिति के पदेन सचिव होंगे.   इस समिति में भारत के जनगणना आयुक्त को भी शामिल किया गया है.

      बांग्लादेश, पाकिस्तान और म्यांमार से पिछले कई दशकों से भारत में घुसपैठ होती रही है.

   कांग्रेस के ज़माने में 2013 में केंद्र सरकार ने माना था कि देश में करीब ढाई करोड़ अवैध बांग्लादेशी हैं. ये सब देश के कोने कोने में जाकर बस गए हैं.

    कई जगहों पर उनके कारण डेमोग्राफी में बदलाव हुए हैं, जो देश के लिए खतरा है. इसलिए ये काम बड़े व्यवस्थित  तरीके से करना होगा.

  अमित शाह ने नक्सलवाद को जड़ से उखाड़कर फेंक दिया, इसलिए ये विश्वास करना चाहिए कि वो भारत में छिपे घुसपैठियों को चुन-चुनकर खोजेंगे और उन्हें वापस उनके देश भेजेंगे.

  अमित शाह तपती धूप में 20 दिन पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश सीमा पर बिताएंगे. वह राजस्थान, गुजरात, त्रिपुरा और पश्चिम बंगाल जाएंगे.

    इन 20 दिनों में जो जानकारी हासिल होगी, उसके आधार पर  एक बड़ा एक्शन प्लान बनाया जाएगा.

बकरीद पर शांति बनाए रखें

   मुंबई में बकरीद से पहले मीरा भायंदर की रेज़िडेन्शियल सोसायटीज़ में कुर्बानी को लेकर तनाव पैदा हो गया. कुछ लोगों ने सोसायटी में 40 से ज्यादा बकरे जमा कर लिए जबकि प्रशासन ने कुर्बानी की जगहें तय की हैं और खुले में कुर्बानी पर रोक लगाई है.

  हिन्दू परिवारों ने  बकरों को लाने का विरोध किया लेकिन मुस्लिम परिवार नहीं माने. बजरंग दल के लोग पहुंचे, मुस्लिम पक्ष और RWA से बात की, लेकिन बात नहीं बनी तो दोनों पक्षों में झड़प हो गई. कुछ लोगों को चोटें आईं.

   पुलिस ने दोनों पक्षों को समझाया. आखिरकार पुलिस ने तीन ट्रक मंगवाए और बकरों को उस जगह पर शिफ्ट किया जहां नगरपालिका ने कुर्बानी के लिए तय की है.

     अच्छी बात ये है कि बड़े बड़े मौलाना लोगों से  इस तरह के विवादों से बचने की अपील कर रहे हैं.

      जमीयत उलेमा-ए-हिंद के सदर मौलाना अरशद मदनी ने मुसलमानों से कहा कि वे प्रतिबंधित जानवरों की कुर्बानी न करें, कुर्बानी के वक्त  सरकारी आदेशों का पालन करें, खुले में कुर्बानी न दें, कुर्बानी के बाद जानवर की तस्वीर सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर न करें, अगर कुर्बानी के दौरान कोई विवाद होता है तो खुद कानून हाथ में लेने की बजाए प्रशासन की मदद लें.

  मौलाना अरशद मदनी ने कहा कि कुर्बानी के जानवरों के अवशेषों को सड़कों, गलियों और नालों में न डालें.  

   असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता बिस्व सरमा ने कहा है कि हिंदुओं की भावनाओं का सम्मान करते हुए कई मुस्लिम संगठनों ने उनसे वादा किया है कि वे इस बार बकरीद पर गाय की कुर्बानी नहीं देंगे. हिमंता ने कहा कि इस तरह की समझदारी से समाज में भाईचारा बढ़ेगा.

     जो समझदारी असम के मुस्लिम भाइयों ने दिखाई, उसी तरह दूसरे राज्यों के लोगों को भी सोचना चाहिए, मौलानाओं की बात सुननी चाहिए.

  मुंबई में जिस तरह तनाव हुआ, वो अच्छी बात नहीं है. दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, बंगाल में राज्य सरकारों ने बकरीद के लिए गाइडलाइन्स जारी की है. सबको नियमों का पालन करना चाहिए.

  सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द बनाए रखना सिर्फ मुस्लिम भाइयों की जिम्मेदारी नहीं है. हिन्दू संगठनों को भी संयम रखना पड़ेगा.

   अगर कोई बकरीद के मौके पर जान बूझ कर माहौल खराब करे, रंग में भंग डाले तो उनके खिलाफ बिना मजहब देखे एक्शन होना चाहिए.
